Neighbourhood Liverpool is a trendy, New York-inspired outpost located on Castle Street, just a short walk from Pier Head. The restaurant and bar offer globally inspired dining with craft cocktails and a vibrant atmosphere. The venue features vibrant flower walls, neon signs, and murals, creating an Instagrammable setting for enjoying a menu that includes pancake stacks, poke bowls, and flat iron steaks. Neighbourhood is known for its fabulous bottomless brunch menu with unlimited drinks options.
Went there for my friends hen party. The food and drinks were brilliant! Great atmosphere and the staff were absolutely amazing and really kind. I definitely recommend !
Vilte — Google review
My friend booked for us both to attend today as she has previously been, we may of well had been invisible today had to ask after approximately 15 minutes of being there for our first drink, which became reoccurring throughout the 90 minutes a total of 4 drinks, around us the drinks were flowing for all when I had to ask again and the server came over her attitude brought an atmosphere I understand everyone works hard in there but we are all paying customers! Plus points great music and atmosphere and hot food! Ps the the aperol spritz was spot on !!
Rebecca T — Google review
We had a booking for 1930. Despite, arriving on time, checking in, it took until 20:00 to be seated. This is the second time I have visited and have been late to be seated. Once seated late, it took a further 10 minutes for us to have someone attend to us and take our drinks order. The attendant was informed that 2 out of the 5 of us were for alcohol free bottomless dining. The drinks service was not great, and we had to constantly attract attention to order drinks. Food arrived and was good. Onto the bill, upon receiving the outstanding bill, despite being advised that 2 people were for alcohol free bottomless dining, all drinks had been put through and charged as alcohol. I questioned this with the attendant at the till who's attitude was shocking and was telling me all drinks were alcohol and she could kot change it. I told her to go and get the guy who had been taking our orders as I wasn't paying the bill without it being changed as it was incorrect. The guy eventually came and clarified that we had had 2 alcohol free. I was also appalled that a service charge had been added automatically and had this removed. Not the best experience, awful customer service, good food.

Lovely place for bottomless brunch. Service was great, Alfie was really attentive. Maybe more variety on the cocktails for brunch available but thats the only feedback!
Viki — Google review
This unique catering establishment is known for its “bottomless” dining sessions, where diners have a limited set of drinks they can re-order for a set period of time. The food menu is quite limited too but the club vibe is good with loud music and the occasional introduction of a live saxophone player playing on top of the partitions between booths. So the experience overall is good and I would go there again. The mini burgers were great, but the flat iron seared beef strips were chewy. The crew serving us were nice too, but unless you’re into prosecco, it’s not great value
David F — Google review
Amazing time while being here. Our service was Alfie brown hair he was so lovely made sure we were okay and had all drinks we needed he needs promoting!!! Would come back purely because of the amazing service would recommend.

such a good vibe in here! music was fantastic, food amazing and the drinks came so quickly! we were served by Kudzai who was super lovely! thank you!!

Had a lovely server called Summer she was really great serving, very friendly and helpful throughout the evening , constantly checking on drinks and making sure everything was good. Shame the tips have to get split because we didn’t have cash!! Food was good and drinks were flowing, you weren’t left empty.

Castle St Townhouse offers classic comfort dishes and drinks from breakfast to dinner in a relaxed setting with indoor and outdoor seating. The breakfast menu, served daily from 9 am to 1 pm, features a variety of options including full English, Royal Scrambled Eggs with smoked salmon, Eggs Benedict, The Vegetarian Townhouse, and Smashed Avocado and Poached Eggs. The restaurant serves Crosby Coffee and provides cozy booths perfect for business meetings or gatherings with friends and family.
Popped in on a Sunday evening for a roast dinner, food was absolutely delicious and such good value. Came piping hot and was good value, staff were really lovely and took our drinks off the bill as our desserts took a little while to come- this was a really nice gesture! I will definitely be back :)

Came here on a bank holiday weekend for a bottomless brunch and we were not disappointed!!! Most BB's only really serve prosecco with quite standard basic food options. Castle St's drink choices were nothing short of amazing. So much variety and options, to the point we weren't really too bothered if the food matched up! However much to our surprise the food was equally amazing!! Will definitely be recommending this one for Liverpool. 10/10 service and the staff were super friendly!!
Sophie — Google review
A fantastic experience from start to finish! Castle St Townhouse is a real gem. The atmosphere is lovely without being too loud, making it the perfect spot to relax and catch up with friends. The food and drinks were top-notch; you can really tell they use quality ingredients. What truly made our visit special, though, was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and genuinely helpful, always on hand to offer recommendations and make sure we had everything we needed. We'll definitely be back!
Ioannis — Google review
Booked a table for 6 on Sunday and we had the 3 course Sunday meal. The service by the staff was excellent. The food you couldn't fault it. We had a brilliant afternoon and would recommend the Townhouse to anyone. Will be definitely calling again.
Glenn — Google review
Booked a table for Sunday lunch. And we weren't disappointed. I had been in previously for drinks and had enjoyed the atmosphere and feel of the bar and the food that was being delivered to tables looked really very good. Firstly the service. Just the right amount of attention. Not too over baring as some place can be. Secondly drink. Gin and tonics to start which were spot on. The tonic was lovely (can't remember the name). A glass of house red. Then a glass of the house white. Which were both very good. Thirdly food. Top marks. A good amount of meat which was very tasty and to my absolute joy a really good amount of veg and no mashed potato. Mashed potato has no place on a roast dinner.. My only slight issue. The food wasn't massively hot. " why didn't you send it back" I hear you cry. Well. It was warm enough to still be enjoyable. I would have prefered it hotter.. We will be back to enjoy another meal. Keep up the good work.
Martin G — Google review
The Full Townhouse breakfast tasted great and seemed reasonably priced for the amount of food. I'd definitely go back.

Called in here for a bite to eat. A little expensive but our sandwiches were very nice.

*Update (after management reply): Their response only makes this worse. 1. They replied days later – yet blame me for not contacting them. I did: I wrote here. They ignored me until public pressure. 2. They say “nobody remembers” and blame the crowd. But in the UK even a small bump gets a “sorry.” This was deliberate – and then I was even accused of hitting him. 3. They suggest I left “multiple reviews.” False – I left only one. And even if I had, that is my right as a customer. This is not accountability – it’s a strategy to silence and dismiss me. My shoulder still hurts. Their denial proves exactly the culture of disrespect I experienced that night, and I no longer expect anything genuine from them I am an international student here in Liverpool. What upset me most is that this would never have happened to a local English customer. It felt like I was treated with less respect simply because I am not from here. That made the experience even more disappointing and upsetting. I visited Castle St Townhouse on Friday 19 September 2025 around 7pm. As I was leaving, a male security guard — much larger than me — walked in and hit my arm so hard that it hurt. He didn’t look at me and didn’t say “sorry.” In the UK, people apologise even when they lightly touch someone. Here, there was nothing. I stopped him and asked: “Excuse me, do you have a problem with me? Why did you hit my arm?” Instead of simply apologising, he turned and said: “No, you hit me.” Only later, after I pressed the issue, did he reluctantly mutter “ok, sorry.” This really upset me. As a woman, I couldn’t understand why I was treated this way — a simple apology would have been enough. Instead, I was left feeling uncomfortable in a place I had come to enjoy. This behaviour was unnecessary, unprofessional, and disappointing.

Located in the Grade-listed Britannia Pavilion at the iconic Albert Dock, PANAM Restaurant & Bar offers a casual and vibrant dining experience. The vaulted brick space features banquettes, plush booths, and tables for enjoying British cuisine and cocktails.
We stumbled into Panam absolutely exhausted after a full day of exploring the beautiful sights of Liverpool — tired, hungry, and thirsty. And wow, did this place deliver exactly what we needed! The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location, right by the water and close to the Tate, is just stunning. What a treat! Thank you so much — it was delicious! 😊
Yarys — Google review
Stumbled across this really lovely place during our Liverpool stay. I am a sucker for reading reviews before visiting a restaurant, but on a tiresome day decided to be spontaneous! Panam straight away- struck by the lovely decor and atmosphere. What a beautiful Place for a meal. We were placed into a booth, which felt so private and hidden, it was great! Service was great, friendly staff who served us promptly. Menu looked great, really nice variety. Food arrived promptly and was delicious. Really good portion size. Reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend. We visited on a Saturday night- 5-6pm ish. Not too busy.

Had lunch here on a day trip to Liverpool to visit the Exhibition Centre. Conveniently close to museums and to Liverpool's iconic waterfront, it's a large and spacious restaurant on two levels, with a lovely view of the marina from its outside tables and window seats. Formerly a warehouse, it still has the original stone floor and exposed brick walls, but the decor is attractive and modern with comfy leather seating, cosy booths and palms. There's a large and well stocked bar, and a good choice of beers, lagers and cocktails. The waitress who served me was courteous and friendly, and I did not have to wait long for my meal despite the restaurant being very busy. The menu offered a tempting variety of both international and classic British starters and mains. I decided to try the scouse. It turned out to be a hearty and delicious stew comprising tender chunks of beef, potatoes, carrots, and onions, served with two pieces of crusty bread and a small pot of pickled cabbage. Piping hot, filling, nicely seasoned, and accompanied by a good Merlot. Could not resist the PANAM trifle for afters - a delicious treat! The meal was not cheap - only to be expected given the location - but it was very satisfying and well worth it. Great convivial atmosphere too. Would come here again.
Valerie H — Google review
LOVED our experience at Panam. We are a family of 4 with two young kids and we just had the best mid week evening during a work trip. The food was absolutely amazing, we had the Panam burger and the beef and ale pie and our plates were clean! The brownie is the best brownie I’ve had in a long, long time and my husband had the cookie dough which he said was fantastic too. Atmosphere is great, we were made to feel really welcome and even though it was quiet on a weekday night it was amazing to let our toddler explore and go see the zebras in the back area and play in amongst the booths etc to keep her amused. Our server Jay was so attentive, we had barely put our forks down or finished our drinks before he was back to check on us and remove our plates he was a total credit to the restaurant. They are so attentive when it comes to allergies which made me feel so safe having a nut allergy. We’d come back from Scotland just to return here genuinely only of the nicest meals in such a unique setting I hope you guys continue to enjoy great success at Albert dock x
Megan N — Google review
Went in without a booking on a busy Saturday night and they put us in a booth just the 2 of us! They dealt with allergies very seriously we had the burger, chips and shared onion ring was very good but there chips were amazing, Naoise served us throughout the evening and provided an excellent service, after dinner we played pool/snooker inside they have 2 tables also have a table football table and live music in the evening.

Lovely atmosphere, staff were really pleasant. Lots of food options and gluten free menu too. Recommend visiting here when you’re in Liverpool next.

Professional waitstaff and wonderful service! Very nice atmosphere with delicious food to boot. Highly recommend!

We visited Panam this evening and immediately felt welcomed. The atmosphere had a lovely relaxed vibe and the restaurant very tastefully decorated. The food was amazing! Each course was delicious. We enjoyed salt beef croquettes, Korean chicken starters followed by chicken supreme and mushroom pizza with lemon/pine seed tender stem broccoli. Wonderful service from our waiter Jay, in fact all the staff were friendly, attentive and polite. Thank you Tara and your team for a lovely evening and we will most definitely be back soon. Can't recommend Panam enough if visiting the Albert docks 😃

Restaurant
Hafla Hafla is a Middle Eastern street food restaurant known for its innovative and delicious dishes. One of their popular creations is halloumi wrapped in bacon with maple mayo, offering a delightful combination of salty and sweet flavors. The menu also features halloumi kebabs, pomegranate-topped halloumi fries, a halloumi burger, and salt and pepper halloumi fries.
Hafla Hafla is easily in my top 3 restaurants in Liverpool! The small plates were generously portioned and amazing. My favourites were the broccoli with babaganoush and the corn ribs. The Persian roast chicken Kebab was to die for and left me very stuffed. A very underrated spot; I had a fantastic time!!!
Hermela — Google review
Visited on a busy Sunday afternoon. We were lucky to get a table, so glad we did as the food was outstanding. Packed full of flavour with some interesting dishes. The meatballs and Halloumi fries were delicious. We will definitely be back.
Michelle G — Google review
Went to the Baltic market and had the veggie platter. My word. Couldn’t finish it, full of flavour and fresh ingredients. Cheese cooked PERFECTLY. Will be back!
Shaun B — Google review
A tad expensive for small plates but delicious food! The items arrive as they get cooked so everything is piping hot. We ordered two small plates, a kebab, a starter and a mocktail. My fav was the kalamari & fried chicken kebab. Za’atar flat bread was crispy and paired superbly with the beef meatballs. The total was 55£ inc the 10% service charge. The place is a bit small but we managed to find a table for an hour. Pleasant & helpful staff.
F S — Google review
Lovely place! We have tried a couple of things, but it was so delicious I forgot to take more pictures! For entrance we had the dip plate with garlic naan. My husband loved the brisket beef kebab. The falafel was something else... I would eat an enormous amount of it! Everyone loved the options!

Unbelievable food and excellent service. All the staff were so lovely and helpful and the food was insane. Will DEFINITELY be going back soon!!

I recently had a fantastic meal that really hit the spot! The food was exceptional, with everything from the spicy chicken to the truffle gravy standing out for their flavour and presentation. Our server was incredibly friendly and made sure we felt looked after throughout our visit. The atmosphere was nice, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy good company, though the drinks could use a little improvement. Overall, I left feeling satisfied and can't wait to come back for more!

Popped in for a quick dinner and the atmosphere and food was great. We had lollipop prawns and squid to start which were both perfectly cooked and then tempura fish and the chicken basket for mains. The Brunch & Cocktail Club is a vintage-style eatery housed in a brick-lined warehouse, offering classic brunch cocktails and hearty fare. Their signature dish, the pancake stack priced at 10.95, comes with an array of decadent toppings like Biscoff spread, banana, Nutella, Oreo salt, and more. For those seeking a bottomless brunch experience in Liverpool, this place is a must-visit.
My friend and I booked this place for brunch! The atmosphere inside was so beautiful! The flowers and vines all over the walls and ceilings created such a unique and inviting vibe! We had pancakes and cauliflower and mushroom hash. The prices were very reasonable for the food we got. Service was great! Recommend booking because it gets busy very quick. Would come back again to try the Banana and Pistachio bread!

Incredible brunch place in Liverpooo! We ordered iced teas, eggs Benedict with croissants and pancakes, and all dishes tasted amazing. The environment is very nice, well decorated and cozy. The staff is super friendly and prompt to fix any issues. Our ordered was forgotten, so it took longer than expected, but they were so friendly: they fixed the issue quickly and gave us free drinks. We understand these problems can happen anywhere and because of the way they handled it for us was a great 5 stars! Thank you!! Can’t wait to go back! ☺️🩷

Me and my boyfriend went for brunch here and it was amazing. Our server Lauren was super attentive and friendly. I ordered the salmon bagel and it was delicious. Would seriously recommend!

So much flavour If you have any allergies, the staff here are extremely attentive. They asked lots of questions, clarified any potential risks, and were super helpful

Update to respond to the restaurant: I’ve never had a restaurant being so line by line defensive… My problem was not with the AI recommendation about the menu, it was with the banana bread. And SHE DID NOT OFFER TO REPLACE THE MEAL, oh my god, I was not really angry or anything but now this definitely pisses me off… I asked, if the dry bits of banana bread was normal, she said “yes it was normal, I can offer you more maple syrup if you like.” I would have taken the replacement meal if she had offered, why are you lying!? What’s the point? Own up to the fact that the food was dry, apologize and move on? Also, the bill was £17, not the bananas bread, obvi I ordered a drink. Why is it so important to defend all these little bits!? Congrats cuz this is now going on TikTok. I was just doing an honest review with pictures on google map but hey, you wanna make this ugly, let’s do it. Horrible banana bread, honestly I was shocked as the place had great review and recommended by chatGPT for French toast yet there was no French toast So I ordered the pistachio banana bread, as soon as I cut open the banana bread it just crumbled and looked so dry inside, there’s also loads bits that’s under-baked, you could see flower bits. Normal banana bread should be soft warm and gooey a bit, but this was just dry dry dry dry dry dry for £17 I was not happy. When I first asked the server, she said it’s normal and offered more maple syrup. So I just ate half of it and send the other back. Service was great though they offered 10% but that’s £1 off it’s just disappointing. Will likely not go back

Nice environment with plenty of plant life tastefully decorating the place. Very kind and well attentive waitresses who really seem like they enjoy working there. Food was very good and the tea was among the best I’ve had (which granted is a low bar as an American). Overall lovely spot

Amazing brunch, staff were lovely and very attentive. Swapped mushrooms for an extra hash brown at no extra cost which was a nice touch. Lauren our serve was very good and made sure we had everything we needed

Nice food and decorations. We sat outside. The heating was on and it was warm even at the end of October. We waited for a free table inside but unfortunately the waiters didn't offer us one even though tables had become free while we were sitting in the restaurant. So Service is not that good us food.

Originally a coffee shop in 1860, it has evolved into a vibrant alehouse located in Liverpool's iconic Tower Building since 1974. This dog-friendly establishment is conveniently situated near top attractions, making it popular among locals and tourists exploring the city with their furry companions. The eatery is known for its famous breakfast brunch menu, featuring traditional veggie breakfast and breakfast burrito options.
Here in Liverpool for a quick city visit and our guide recommend us this place for traditional home taste food. We ordered an appetizer and couple of the Scouses and it was delicious in general with a fair price and perfect portions. Rachel our waitress was fantastic with a great attitude, her recommendations were perfect. Sitio escondido en el centro de Liverpool con una comida tradicional por un precio justo. El servicio fue muy bueno y acertadas recomendaciones. Gracias Rachel

We all enjoyed our time at Ma Boyles. The food and service very good . Two of our party had scouse one in a scouse pie and the other had a scouse Cottage pie. I had the cheese & bacon burger and the other one had the fish and chips. If we go back to Liverpool we will certainly visit Ma Boyles again.
Derek B — Google review
We learnt why the residents of Liverpool are called scousers. This is after a special stew the poor used to eat often called scouse. Ma Boyles is the best place to try it. And its worth it as its rich with meat and lots of veg.
Jonathan M — Google review
I was recommended this place and I’m so glad I went, I got the classic scouse meal and it felt like a warm hug. Their wine selection is really good as well. The service was great and the waitresses were super nice. I would highly recommend this place!
Stephanie T — Google review
I popped into Ma Boyle’s for a quick bite and left completely impressed. I had the classic Scouse hearty, rich, and absolutely authentic, just what I was hoping for. Paired it with a well-made coffee, which was surprisingly good for a pub. The atmosphere really makes this place shine warm, laid-back, and full of character. The music was spot-on just the right balance between chill and upbeat and the staff were genuinely amazing, welcoming, attentive, and full of local charm. It’s tucked away near the waterfront but feels like a hidden gem. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a real Liverpool experience.

Great dog friendly pub with proper pub food - I got the blind scouse and it was absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere in here too. And the sticky toffee pudding was lovely! Highly recommend

Absolutely wonderful ‘Sunday Roast’ dinner! In my family, I’m the queen of Yorkshire puddings, but these were a revelation! Airy and delightful. The beef was fork tender. Gravy was a bit salty, but personally I like it that way. Highly recommend Ma Boyle’s !

With options like breakfast burritos, veggie Huevos Rancheros, enchiladas, and chilli con carne, there's something for everyone.
We took advantage of the £15 bottomless tapas offer. Staff were attentive and no delays in being able to order more dishes. Food was tasty with a great menu selection. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely lovely evening on Friday at Las Iguanas. Sat in the sun with cocktails on 2 for 1 and lovely food. We had to move table to make space for a DJ and the manager offered us a round of drinks on the house! Amazing service thank you!! Food was gorgeous too! :)

We had the taco sharing board, nachos, prawns and smash burger! Food was average, burger was the best out of all the dishes! Overall lovely atmosphere and friendly staff! Too loud music on Saturday, hard to have a conversation! Our server Laura was very friendly and accommodating!

Did the £15 bottomless food deal. Was served and sat by Bart, was super speedy! Service and food was amazing, couldn’t fault it. Would recommend ! This is our second time doing bottomless and we will be coming back to do the normal menu. Cocktails are also so good, such a good range.

I had the cod and prawn curry which was really tasty. Not too spicy I could definitely handle a little more heat. The star of the show was the garlic cheese balls - holy moly they were amazing. The staff where super friendly and even though a Sunday afternoon had a upbeat vibe. Will be back for the rainbow cod as was out of stock on this visit

I tried this Mexican food for the first day and it turned out to be the best ❤️‍🔥😋 The food was awesome, the environment was great with dim lights and candles. Tried Pornstar Martini and it turned out to be so dam good, also we got Buy 1 Get 1 and it was so cool. In deserts got chorus sundae which was great and went to try cheesecake which was the biggest mistake to spoil the whole taste of food which we ate for an hour. It was not all good for us. But overall good experience

The venue features high tables, mosaic-tiled floors, and ceiling fans that transport visitors to a Cuban villa. The menu offers a fusion of flavors from Spain, Mexico, and South America, including burritos, tortillas, chorizo hash, sweetcorn fritters, paella, and beef skewers.
Great location right on the waterfront in the heart of the docks with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Everything you would expect from the location within the docks with lots of exposed brickwork and beams creating a nice relaxing ambiance. Enjoyed our visit and we were happy to take advantage of a cocktail special that they were offering.

We came in the evening on a Sunday and the bar was very quiet, we had run in out of the rain, but were glad to have done so. There was a great range of interesting cocktails on the menu, but at that particular time there were no fraught beers available at all. We were offered a bottled cider as an alternative which was nice. Once the rain cleared up there were nice seating options outside.

Service was slow as it's always very busy even if you have booked a table. We waited 15 minutes for our first drinks to arrive but seemed to get better after this but the cocktails are delicious and reasonably priced and not lacking in alcohol. Food was very nice but not piping hot when brought out. Atmosphere is very good and music is unique and giving Cuban vibes which we loved.

The place is very attractive, we were so looking forward to eat there. But the reality was very bad! We were waiting around 30 minutes to get the drinks and when the good finally came in, we thought it must ve a joke! A very bad joke! I ordered chicken burger, there was barilely aby meat (more likes a tiny chicken strip), it was dry as hell a thr bun was totally gumy. Terrible experience. We were to stupid to go in just cause it looks stylish.

We had such a great time at the bottomless brunch! The food was great and perfectly timed with the drinks. The vibe was lively but not too loud. Our waiter, Nate, was absolutely fantastic. We went here on a Sunday night as a couple and had burger with sweet potato fries (an add on) and the sharing nachos this cost £30 great value for money, there was an private event on before and there was some loud music but after a while the music stopped, Jess was our server and was very helpful with our food and any allergy concerns, the decor is much like cosy club if you have ever been, we had a lovely evening!

We booked a table for 11 people one being our 92 Yr old mum who was in a wheelchair. We arrived on time and found a hen party sitting on one of our reserved tables full of drinks. They were asked to move and we were told to just sit at the other table whilst this was occuring this was not possible due to bench seats hence we couldn't put mum there. We eventually all sat down with two tables put together. When ordering our food there was a problem with the gluten free meals. This was sorted in the end then when I tried to pay the card was not working on trying another machine it worked I said thank god for that and was met with a silent glare by the staff. One of our party was also ignored by bar staff whilst trying to get a drink the said bar staff ended up arguing with her. When myself and my sisters vegetable burgers came only one had avocado I said we ordered two and was ignored despite saying it twice. I gave up and just ate it anyway but find the staff extremely rude. Mum , myself and most of the party were very upset with the attitude of the staff. We drank up and left.

Friendly front of room staff but......as we ordered food (which was tasty)separately, to pay our own way, it took over an hour for everyone to get their food. 1st person took 20 mins then trickling out over the next 30 mins. Apologies from serving staff but it wasn't their fault.

Booked for a 70th party for our dad, pre order was required but that was expected and on arrival food arrived after about 30 mins. Table of 11 so by time we had drinks etc that just worked out really well. Staff were attentive give, atmosphere was great and service spot on too. Really enjoyed the evening. Special thanks to Lily who organised the pre order and booking process.

Not much more to say than the food was great, but the service was terrible. It took no time to be seated, as the place was practically empty, and the host was very friendly, but it went sharply down hill from there. It took forever to get someone to take our order, we asked for wine — it took ages to come, and then when it did, it came twice — two separate servers brought it separately, about two minutes apart. We told the second that we had already received our wine, and he seemed less than pleased. They were out of one of the items we selected for the charcuterie board — no big deal — but odd, given it was so early in the evening. Our selections took a while to arrive, but were delicious (the calamari was amazing), but then we saw NO ONE for ages. Finally had our server back and asked for coffee and another glass of wine for my partner — wine came, coffee didn’t. Partner finished his wine and we gave up on the coffee, asked for the bill — shortly after which the coffee came — lukewarm. It had clearly been sitting somewhere waiting to be delivered to our table. Overall, not the most terrible experience I’ve had in a restaurant, but not the best, either, especially when there is so much else to choose from on the same street. Would probably try again, perhaps on a different day of the week and at a different time of day to see if that made a difference in the service, and it would be worth going back for the calamari, but with expectations of poor service so that any improvement would be a pleasant surprise.
Tracy R — Google review
For me, it is the best Spanish food restaurant in Liverpool. The dishes were amazing, everything very tasty and well prepared. The place was well decorated, inviting. The service was great, all servers were very friendly. The only issue was the price, we thought it was a bit expensive given the portion sizes. Apart from that we really recommend it! We will be back! Thank you! 🇪🇸❤️❤️❤️

Without doubt the best Spanish food I've tasted outside Spain. Excellent tasty and beautifully presented. Great staff. Really genuine friendly service. Pricing spot on unlike the other Spanish tapas place down the Hill 🌒. We would be happy to bring anyone visiting from Spain (there's not many places you'd say that about). We had three dishes each then re-ordered twice more because it was so good. Beautiful wine as well. Our visit here will definitely motivate us to return to Liverpool sooner rather than later.

Haven’t been here since it moved location and I have to say that it’s much better! The new location is much cozier with better decor + atmosphere. Food has also improved with the tortilla now being made fresh every time. Loved the courgette flower but I would like to see more vegetarian options - maybe croquettes or something similar. Would have ordered more food but ran out of things to order!

Nice place ,decor etc Food average. Gambas pil pil, no hot sizzling oil with garlic, no sizzle at all and about 5 prawns which were ok. Calamari was ok. Patatas bravas ok. One bug bear is when they take your glass and you've not finished. Didn't even ask just swiped it away! We did complain and they begrudgingly replaced it. Very expensive for bang average food and drink. Much better tapas eateries in town

Really great food, Machego croquets special were to die for, beef short rib, cauliflower and harissa chicken all great too. Prawns pil pil was a little bit too fishy so this was the only one we didn’t finish. Service we can’t complain not the most attentive, but only small numbers of staff so did a great job. Nice surroundings to eat and drink a very pleasant atmosphere.

Visited on Sunday 27th Oct, and have to say it was the worst experience I've had in town, ordered the meal and a drink, the drink was ok, no issues on that, the issue we had was due to the food. When the food turned up the majority of the food was cold, the rest was luke warm, the fish batter was limp rather than crispy and I didn't even taste the peas on the plate, they did not look appetising, my friend's meal was very similar but he had raw chips on his plate, we didn't eat the meal, I went to the bar to speak with the supervisor and was told she would come and speak with me, she sent the waitress over to find out the problem, spoke with the waitress, who was lovely, said she would speak to the supervisor, they offered to replace the chips, I told her no thanks and could I speak with the supervisor, once again the waitress was sent back to us and said the supervisor would reduce our bill by 30%, I wasn't looking for this but requested the bill, they knocked 30p off the bill, i said this is not 30%, and once again the poor girl had to go and speak with the supervisor, she apologised for what had happened, I told her this wasn't her fault and the supervisor should have come over to rectify this issue, we did end up with 30% off the bill but bearing in mind we were still hungry and ended up getting proper fish and chips from the Lobster Pot and paying out more money!!! Not knocking the lobster pot BTW 😁 I am definitely not recommending this place and will not go again Ps the waitress was lovely and I give her 5⭐️

Restaurant clean and tidy and the food was good, but for £25 a steak, it should be! Staff took far too long to bring our food over,45 minutes to be honest and the service was standard. Worst part of this experience was the extra charges they tried to put on the bill, £8.00 they had to refund us back.

Went here for bottomless brunch before Christmas and it wasn't the best. The chicken was very dry, they brought out two wrong dishes and they also stopped our time with 15mins left. They brought the bill and wouldn't let us get anything else on the bottomless brunch menu. They didn't even alert us- staff were slow at coming round and getting our orders/bringing drinks. The guy on sax was good. Wouldn't go there for bottomless brunch again!

The food was simply exquisite, and the service was impeccable. I can confidently say that my dining experience was a solid 5-star affair, and I cannot wait to return. The roast dinner was the star of the show! Expertly cooked, it was a beautiful balance of flavours. The meat was tender and juicy, the vegetables cooked to perfection, and the gravy was rich, hearty and full of depth. It was, without a doubt, one of the best roast dinners I've ever had. The mocktail that I ordered was a refreshing treat. It was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The blend of flavours was perfect, and it was a cool, invigorating accompaniment to the meal. The conclusion of the meal was just as impressive as the beginning. The chocolate brownie was a dream for any dessert-lover. It was decadently rich, perfectly moist and packed with flavour. It was a splendid way to end a perfect meal. What really elevated my experience at Masons, however, was the fantastic service. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional. They made sure we felt welcome and comfortable and ensured that our meal was served promptly and efficiently. Their commitment to excellent customer service truly shone throughout the evening. In conclusion, my visit to Masons was an absolute pleasure. From the delightful food to the outstanding service, everything was top-notch. I am more than eager to return and experience more of what this incredible establishment has to offer. Masons has truly set the bar high for dining experiences. Five stars all the way!

Good Atmosphere, shockingly small portions of food, to be exact, 3 prawns, 4 small Chirico pieces and 4 small meatballs, see picture. 2 bottles of larger, 2, very small glasses of red wine, £49.50. Waitress even tried to take my food away when i was still eating and to cap it all, got kicked out bang on 1.5 hours with a half empty restaurant and drinks on the table, had to leave them behind. Not even a thank you or goodbye from the staff on the door as we were ushered out. To be clear, my food is the 3 dishes in the centre of the picture. Avoid disappointment and avoid Masons. Plenty of other placed to eat, in your own time, and eat what what you want.

I honestly don’t even know where to start. We booked Masons in Liverpool for my hen do, and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. The service was terrible, we only managed to get two drinks each the entire night, and the staff couldn’t have cared less. They were rude, dismissive, and clearly just wanted us out of there. The food came out at completely different times, so half of us were finished before the rest even got theirs. When I raised how unhappy I was, I was told we’d get a refund, but that turned out to be a lie — just something they said to get us to leave quietly. The whole experience felt unprofessional and chaotic, and the manager in particular was shockingly rude. Definitely not someone who should be running a venue like that. My hen do was completely ruined because of how badly we were treated. We will never be coming back, and I’d strongly advise anyone thinking of booking here for a special occasion to go somewhere else. After the responce to the below to this review - I can confirm half of my party were not drinking, we did not have the amount of drinks he is saying - most of them never turned up, and not only is he insinuating we were ‘ drunk’ he also saying we are not telling the truth. Shame on you. Most of us are business owners in Liverpool - we know how to run a business, all of the above and how your staff spoke to us with one of them actually apologising to me - says it all. Disgusting.

Top-quality food and consistently great service. Food — fresh, healthy and super tasty. Drinks flowed and the DJ/sax entertainment was brilliant, exactly the kind of energy you want on Seel St. Great location, excellent staff
Aaron W — Google review
This was a lively hen do experience with the saxophonist table dancing and the sparklers! The food was really nice, wish there was more of it. There was a bit of upset as they had increased the price since we booked months ago, and the time limit had changed too. The manager offered us another drink round the corner in the attached Epic bar which was cool, and made up for the mix up. Service overall was good. Drink options seemed to be Prosecco with various mixers or bottles of lager I think, nobody really explained it to us, but we were happy with that anyway. Would only come here with a larger group for an event rather than with the other half. It was fun though.

I had a spicy marg which was made really well. I also had the peppercorn beef burger which was way better than I expected! Cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of peppercorn sauce. One of the best burgers in Liverpool. Highly recommended

Popped in for a drink and a snack whilst on my way to a meeting. Hot chocolate was well made and the Jammie Dodger blondie was tasty - was warmed slightly which was a treat! Whilst I didn’t eat there the menus looked good, so plan to return. Checked with staff and were told they were dog friendly too.

Bottomless brunch was so good! Food was so nice and served quick, went with a big group of friends and there was never a time we had no drink, the staff are so attentive and we're always making sure we all had drinks and whatever we needed. So friendly and helpful. Quick service. Highly recommend. Great value for money.

A bit out of the way. Sadly the roof bar wasn't open, so we got drinks and cocktails at the bar then sat in the food court and ordered on-line. Good choice of food, delivered to the table quickly. There are plenty of other aspects to this place, but it lacked atmosphere as it was a quiet lunchtime, but it looks like it'd be great when busy later on.

Lovely place, good staff, and despite us being the oldest people in there by far we were treated with courtesy and had a great time.

I had the most amazing time at this bottomless brunch! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and looked after us with genuine warmth and energy. Popped in for some drinks before dinner at another restaurant and it was amazing! We went for the 2-for-1 cocktails, and the staff recommended some brilliant options for us to try. We enjoyed it so much, we came back before our train home and had a small plate of chicken too. Definitely planning to return for more drinks and a proper meal next time we're in Liverpool!

The food is always delicious at Turtle Bay. On this occasion we visited Liverpool for a 21st Birthday. Our waitress (Victoria) was fantastic. She was friendly, polite and efficient. She also provided a special moment with a 'birthday cake', candle and singing happy birthday. The atmosphere was lovely - happy, calm and well organised. Thank you and well done to Victoria and all the team who made our experience a positive one.

I need to leave a review following my hen party bottomless brunch on Saturday 29th Sept, we were a huge party of 17 and the service was impeccable. Joea couldn’t do enough for us, we had more than enough drinks being served to us and when i booked i was told that table service wouldn’t be possible due to our group size (completely understood) but Joea going absolutely above and beyond for us absolutely made the experience. Callum was also great, we returned to revs that night because we had such a great time in the day and he entertained us with drinking games and just kept the vibes up. A blonde lady who’s name I didn’t get, but who i think may have been a manager was also super helpful. THANK YOU! I would give you more than 5 stars if i could, keep doing what you’re doing!

Came here for our Christmas meal, the food was horrendous and the portion was minuscule, there was a quarter of a pepper served as a main, and with regards to the turkey it was extremely dry, the carrots and potatoes were raw and the gravy was watered down. The menu sounded nice but don’t be fooled! We came as a party of 28 and were planning on coming back for our end of year awards night, after this experience we will definitely not be returning. These pictures were taken BEFORE any food was eaten.

Pieminister is a casual eatery in Bristol that offers gourmet savory pies, including options for vegans and those who are gluten-free. In Liverpool, the restaurant also serves a luxurious range of soft-serve ice creams to complement their famous pies. The flavors are diverse and inventive, ranging from frozen yogurt with honeycomb to unique options like vanilla ice cream with British bacon and Bourbon maple syrup.
First time ordering the food from this place and was blown away by the taste. Absolutely delicious pies. I opted for the fungi & chicken pie with 2 extra sides (mash and garden peas), the pie also came with a small carton of gravy. I can’t put into words of just how good this looked and tasted. It definitely started my Sunday off well. Everything arrived in perfect condition. The box the food arrived in was very sturdy and not flimsy like some do. Brilliant service, great tasting food and will definitely be ordering again in the near future

Hands down the best pie I have ever had in my life! Amazing food, quality cocktails and great service. Highly recommend this place. Portion sizes are decent but a little on the smaller side. Definitely quality over quantity. A bit pricey overall but easily worth the money.

What a wonderful discovery, what a wonderful menu, and what a wonderful Pie 🥧! We wanted to find a new and different place to eat! The atmosphere when you walk in was friendly. At first service was slow, we weren’t sure if we had to go up and place the order or wait for a waiter. Then we got a waiter come over and from there we were off to the races! Absolutely lovely service. I ordered the ginger beer and it was really refreshing! We all loved our pies. I would suggest you try the vegan or vegetarian options. The curry one is a secret gem! Ask for your scratch cards at the end see if you win a free meal or at least a pirate 🏴‍☠️ inspired pie bandana. Fantastic value for money.
Yeison O — Google review
Lovely little pie shop. Part of a large chain. Waiter service was slow initially, but really friendly and helpful. They only had 1 or 2 waiters on (Saturday night) and several more in the kitchen hammering the microwaves and fryers. Despite that food was slow to come. Feels like the system is a little broke, but everyone was friendly and apologetic. The food is nice, I'd decently go back despite the the niggles. What's stage is it's a pie shop but there's no standard menu option for pie, mash and gravy... There's only combinations that do extra sides, but they are 'chosen' for you... Or group tried 3 of the pies, a vegan chicken, a vegetarian curry and a classic steak and kidney. We decided the curry one (we think it was cashed pie-oneer?) Was by far the best a must-try recommendation is you visit.

Pieminister offers an exceptional culinary experience for anyone with a fondness for pies. This restaurant truly stands out with its variety of innovative and delicious pie offerings. Each pie is a delightful blend of flavors and textures, made with high-quality, fresh ingredients. Whether you're a meat lover, vegetarian, or vegan, Pieminister has something special for you. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both casual lunches and special dinners. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Additionally, their commitment to sustainability and use of locally sourced ingredients is commendable. Overall, Pieminister is a must-visit for pie enthusiasts and anyone looking for a satisfying meal in a warm, welcoming environment.

Beautiful bottomless tapas & sangria however service was a bit slow to begin with & they made us leave before our 2 hour period was up. Our reservation was 5 & they made us leave by 6.45. The table we was seated at was a high uncomfortable chairs aswell right by the toilets where people almost knocked our food… you can see the board hanging over the table on the picture. Still overall I would rate 5 star but hopefully management will read and take this feedback on board.

Came for a snack while strolling. Can't go wrong with a basic tapas. If one is coming for a main meal, then this really isn't the place. This is a proper tapas bar. The food is wonderful, but it's meant to be eaten with good friends over conversations transpiring over a long stretch. We came in during a stroll and it was way too early. And ordered the mix sharing platter. All well done and appointed. I will be back when it's not so early in the day and there are more people with me. I have walked past in the late evenings and it it's a hopping little place. This is a solid recommendation to go and enjoy!

This place was such a great find and let me tell you .. I’m not exaggerating when I say this . But crazy Pedros pizza was one of the best pizza I have ever tasted . IN MY LIFE. And I have tasted some best pizza from New York and Italy. But this pizza is up there in the top three. Which is a bold statement . But yes . Thank you for your lovely service and amazing food!! A vast mountain of nachos for £15. Pretty impressive, although, to be honest, I've had better. A bit more variety and spreading of cheese and sauce throughout would have been good. Probably best shared between about 6 people, seriously, it's that big. The pizza, however, was brilliant. We shared one moderately massive one and I thoroughly enjoyed it. On reflection we should have had two pizzas and skipped the nachos, but I regret nothing! Fun atmosphere, friendly staff. A bit on the pricey side maybe, but worth it for the experience. Bonus points for having about 20 free sauces and dips to pick from!
Chris L — Google review
Perfect place for a quick bite. We came in for Happy Hour... £2 pizza slices 5-9PM. I would have given 5 stars but the slices seem to have gotten smaller and there aren't as many choices, as there use to be, on the pizza toppings. But as always the music is great! 🎶

Nice fun place with a young vibe and great music mix. Just stopped in for a quick drink and a couple of slices of pizza . Need more staff behind the bar and charging more for less is always a no no with me . Small can of Estrella and a 2/3 Of a pint was £8 . Pint felt small then I noticed the 2/3 pint mark .

Went to Crazy Pedros after trying a slice at Boxpark. Didn’t disappoint. They had BOGOF on cocktails and both me and my partner went for the deal, lots of selection on drinks. The pizza was amazing with great quality base, our mistake the pizzas are MASSIVE and we should have chosen to spilt one. Not a big mistake we now have pizza for lunch.

We are at the hotel next to this bar and we'd looked at coming in last night but went into the centre. Great activity whether it be friends, couples, colleagues etc. Large booths and big screens and a choice of guns (pistols included, extra cost for rifles). Cocktails are lovely and there's a selection of pizzas hot dogs and fries to absorb the alcohol. There are offers on certain days/times that make it more affordable if you're on a budget. Good soundtrack, friendly staff and plenty of variety in the games to keep you entertained. A good selection of two for £10 cocktails which are all delicious. Get down for some competitive fun! Edit: Been loads of times now to enjoy the delicious cocktails (Rock out with your glock out being a favourite) and there's a new gun in the mix too. Once you get on the leader board you just want to beat your high score!

Loved this experience for my sisters hen do, something different to a normal bottomless brunch. I would have given 5 stars but I felt the service was a bit slow at first for the amount of people we had, we had to ask quite a lot of times for more drinks and one of the shooting range screens went down for 15 mins but we had an amazing time and when we had to move from the shooting area they had a reserved area ready for us too. Bought the afternoon tea voucher on Wowcher. It was £29 for an afternoon tea set for 2 with two cocktails as well. I absolutely love this afternoon tea because it is different. Not a huge fan of traditional British afternoon tea as they are mainly sandwiches, scones and cakes only, too sweet for me. Prefer more savoury food items like this one. Beef sliders, onion rings, cheesy tots, chicken tenders are perfect finger food, great for kids and adults and everyone. Staff is attentive, met my dietary requirements of no chocolate. Drinks are delicious as well and of great variety! Will definitely come back. Highly recommend here if you are near the docks in Liverpool!

She was extremely attentive checking if everything was okay and if we needed more drinks. Brilliant service and a brilliant atmosphere. 10/10

Been here a few times, good selection of drinks and good atmosphere. The service however, is quite horrific. My partner and I sat at a table and decided to order to the table via the app. 15 minutes pass before we questioned where our drinks where, to which we was told they would be another 10 minutes. We waited overall 30 minutes for drinks. We planned to stay here the rest of the night but with service so slow and staff so inattentive decided against it.

Danielle was fantastic, service was great, drinks were very quick and quality of food and drinks were great. Danielle was constantly on the go with multiple tables but was always there when we wanted drinks and constantly had a smile on her face. I would definitely recommend to others and will 100% return

Brasserie
Browns Liverpool is a sophisticated British brasserie and bar offering lobster nights and afternoon tea in an elegant cafe setting. It's a top choice for a stylish bottomless brunch, with options including unlimited prosecco, bloody Marys, bellinis, or Moet & Chandon Imperial Champagne. The restaurant prides itself on expertly prepared dishes made from the freshest ingredients, served in a modern yet elegant atmosphere with attentive staff.
I had the lunchtime 2 course, my wife had one course. Steak and the fish and chips were cooked perfectly and we're good quality. We had a wine too that was nice. Rachael was the perfect host and very pleasant. We will go again when in Liverpool as it's a lovely place with a nice ambience. Thanks!

What can I say? Four of us blokes turned up out of the blue looking for a table for 8 at 5 pm for a pre-theatre dinner....the place was still busy but after an initial look of horror the charming mattress d' managed to find us a table, on the condition that we would be gone by 7 pm. No problems as our show started at 7.30. So the 4 early birds went upstairs and ordered drinks and food. Then the latecomers arrived and did the same. How the brilliant girls kept track of everything I will never know. Anyway, we all got our correct food orders and drinks and the food was brilliant! Best fish and chips ever for me and the boys' food was fantastic too. What a wonderful experience.....and we made the curtain up at the theatre! Hats off to the manager and the whole fabulous team.

Came for friend’s birthday celebrations, nothing short of wonderful. Promptly seated, greeted and well catered to. Emma was our server on the evening, she was polite, hospitable and chatty. Drinks were beautiful, well made and aesthetically pleasing. Food was delicious, the ‘Prawn and Chorizo Linguine’ and ‘Vanilla Creme Brûlée’ were absolutely tantalising. Even went out of their way to do a special touch for my friend’s birthdays - a beautiful Happy Birthday message written on a slate slab worh their dessert. Look forward to coming back soon - thank you again. 💫🥂

Popped in here for an impromptu solo brunch, service from the first step into the door was exceptional. Toilets were super clean. Quick shout out: Gary was a shining example of what cool, calm, informative and attentive service looks like. Regarding the food, the eggs were slightly over, not that I minded too much, though with that level of service you want to have the food matching, so you can really hit that 10/10. Will 100% be back to see what the evening service is like! Overall rating 8/10

Turtle Bay Liverpool Hanover St is a vibrant Caribbean restaurant known for its unique brunch menu. The restaurant offers an array of unconventional brunch options such as the big Kingston Grill Down, Honey Bunny Yardbird, and Vegan Motherclucker. Additionally, guests can enjoy a bottomless brunch experience featuring unlimited cocktails, fizz, draft Red Stripe, mocktails, soft drinks and hot drinks for two hours.
"Turtle Bay's Bottomless Brunch is the answer to all of life's questions. Where else can you find an endless supply of boozy goodness, food that's somehow both ridiculous and delicious (rice bowl!), and a server named Charlie who's basically a saint? I mean, Charlie might be the real MVP here. If you're looking for a reason to justify wearing your comfiest stretchy pants on a Saturday, this is it. Trust me, your taste buds (and your liver) will thank you. Book your spot, grab a seat, and let the good times roll!" 5/5 stars.

Amazing spot! I’m not usually a fan of hot and spicy dishes, but the food here was absolutely perfect. They offer a great variety of drinks—from cocktails to alcohol-free options. If you’re in Liverpool, definitely consider this place for lunch. I’d recommend booking ahead, especially on weekends, as it’s lively, busy, and full of energy. The staff are super friendly, and the atmosphere is just lovely!

We had a lovely random Monday meal tonight. The service was great from Becky! Really friendly and attentive. Service with a smile. The food was really nice, both had Mac & Cheese bites to start, the chilli mango mole was delicious with these bites. As for mains I had the Bay Burger which was a really nice cut of meat with cheesy jerk fries (definitely get these with it). My partner got the Trini Curry Chicken which he said was really tasty and hot. If you like spice, this is for you. Thanks again to Becky and the bar team, had a really nice night 😃

If taste buds could dance, mine were definitely doing the reggae at Turtle Bay in Liverpool. The food? Absolute yum! The staff were friendly, fast, and somehow managed to keep their cool even while balancing trays of food that looked like works of art. They made us feel like VIPs… or at least VIBs (Very Important Bellies) The vibe is laid-back, colourful, and the kind of place where you could happily enjoy a tummy full meal.
Humaiza T — Google review
Took staff recommendations for the mains and drinks and absolutely loved those. Their collection of Carribean rum is amazing. Mix that with juice of your choice (or ask them) and you’ll have a great tropical cocktail. Loved that each table has Dominos game which helps people keep their phones done and enjoy the moment. I wish more restaurants incorporated this. The place is located at a great location and the price is reasonable.
Hussain K — Google review
Large group near us were overpoweringly loud, literally screaming at one point so I had to stop talking to the server for 30 seconds or so, obviously not the fault of the establishment but something to think about when seating large parties maybe don't put them right in the middle of the restaurant. Service was quite slow but this likely was also because a large group was in. Some kids were allowed to go round the tables and solicit 'sponsorships', this was uncomfortable and inappropriate for a restaurant setting whether legitimate or not. Other than this the staff was friendly and pleasant and the food as always was excellent.

Came for the bottomless brunch on a Friday for my birthday. The place was absolutely dead and no atmosphere whatsoever. We’ve been to roughly 15 Turtle Bay bottomless brunches as it’s our go to for birthdays/anniversaries. The menu has changed and the length of the brunch has been shortened to 90 mins whereas before it was 2 hours (we’d rather pay more to have more time like before). The food has gone massively downhill. I used to order jerk chicken and you got a decent portion of chicken breast/leg plus rice and coleslaw. Now it’s just a sliced breast and rice nothing exciting about it and much much smaller. The food is also much spicier than before. We didn’t enjoy the food at all this time and had to order fries as the food we ordered was way too hot in spice and we couldn’t eat it. Value for money has gone and unfortunately we will be going elsewhere for our brunches from now on. Turtle Bay do not change things if they’re not broken. Jodie our server was the only decent part of our experience today. Thank you Jodie for your customer service but the food and brunch has let this experience down unfortunately.

We had a discount voucher off our total bill which made the visit more affordable. Due to an unavoidable delay, we were going to be later than the time we originally booked. I contacted the restaurant and they held our table for a further 30 minutes which was so helpful. The restaurant was extremely busy when we arrived, as it was a Saturday evening, but we were seated quite quickly. All the staff, particularly the lady who served us, we're very welcoming and attentive, regularly asking if everything was okay and if we needed anything (I think the person who served us was Ashleigh). Overall a very good experience.

Their brunch menu features delectable options like Nutella and Biscoff triple-layered French toast, Shakshuka, Salmon Kedgeree, and Homemade pancakes with fresh berries. The venue is adorned with beautiful floral decorations throughout, creating a picturesque setting for visitors. Located in the Georgian Quarter on Hardman St, it's easily accessible from various accommodations in Liverpool.
I visited on Friday night with my mum. We sat at a lovely table with a nice view of outside and most of the restaurant. It was a lovely atmosphere - not very busy but a good few tables to create a fun vibe. The decor is STUNNING. Never seen a restaurant like it. Mum ordered the salmon kebab and I had vegan lamb kofta. We also shared a cauliflower starter. The portion sizes were perfect - not too big but just enough. We also shared 2 bottles of wine. The bill was reasonable - decent for what we had and the wine costing the most, but hey, it's a treat. Our waiter was charming, as were the rest of the staff. All in all we both had a lovely evening and will be returning.
Flat C — Google review
This is the epitome of instagram vs. reality. Sure, it's pretty, and there were loads of people taking photos of the decor. In reality, I found it quite grubby, with dirty stairs, that looked like someone had swept the dirt into the corners. The toilets were grim and out of paper, and the taps felt like they needed a drop of WD40. The staff seemed busy and stressed, which was reflected in the poor service. You had to scan a QR code for a gluten-free 5, which is fine, but the starters weren't on, and it took two staff to finally bring out a cardboard menu. It took forever for the starters to arrive, I had the Korean fried chicken. This was lukewarm and tasteless. Whilst we were waiting forever for the mains, we ordered another bottle of wine that was dumped on the table by a staff member who walked off without opening it. Thankfully, another one noticed and went to get a corkscrew. Eventually, the mains arrived, I had a Thai Prawn hanging kebab. It was bland, and the prawns were barely warm with rice that was hot in some places and cold in others. I left most of it, though it did look nice. Overall, if you don't care about food and service and want to take some nice photos, this is the place. If you want decent food, go anywhere else.

Beautiful interior in a lovely building. Very Instagramable. Staff were lovely as we're the cocktails. Food was good but nothing special. I would have expected a little more ooh with the food.

Best roast dinner in the city! In such beautiful surroundings too. My only gripe is that there was zero toilet paper in the ladies in any cubicle and no staff around to replace it. Other than that I will be back again and again. Lots of non alcoholic choices, the Watermelon Cooler is THE best non alcoholic cocktail I’ve ever tasted
Angela H — Google review
During our short break in Liverpool, we were guided by reviews for an evening meal and drinks at this restaurant. On the plus side, the building is fantastic and its interior is stylish, especially with its indoor trees. When we arrived on a Thursday night, the place was quiet but did have enough diners to give it some atmosphere. Unfortunately for us, that's where the positives ended. The two serving staff, one of whom was unsuccessfully trying to man the meet and greet pedestal whilst serving diners, seemed to struggle with their service levels to all customers: a case in point being when it came to pay and our waiter disappeared for a good 10 minutes having promised he'd be 'back with the card machine'. We never saw him again! Secondly the food. At best, mediocre pub grub standard that fell well below the expectations set by the visual appeal of the place and the prices charged. So once we'd sat down to eat we were told that various items we had our eye on were off the menu due to 'delivery issues'. Not a good start! My companion and I shared the hummus and flat bread dip as a starter. That was fine but then things went downhill. My burger, was tasty enough, but small and in a bog-standard bun like you'd get at Wetherspoons. Very disappointing. My partner's Chicken skewers with a Satay Sauce was basically like Coronation Chicken. The chicken was overcooked and the sauce was very thin and watery, a completely forgettable dish. We planned to stay longer and have a dessert, but thought best not invest any more of our time, so we got an Uber and went elsewhere. Shame really.

This is a very very beautiful restaurant. It is so floral and has a Great vibe. The service was good and the lady waiting us was super! Our bad that we did not go for a drinks or dinner! We ordered coffee and desserts. Very honest- this is not a coffee place, we asked for latte and were very disappointed. But the desserts were great and delicious, i enjoyed every single bite of my brownie♥️

Went here on a Wednesday night for dinner, looks beautiful from outside and often bustling. On our visit was very quiet inside which maybe detracted from the atmosphere, however staff were attentive and food was very tasty! Not the best meal I’ve had but a solid 4 stars. Definitely a place for a big family meal or a casual dinner date. Well worth the visit. Ps the lemongrass beef skewers and dip were very very tasty!

Went for a roast dinner with my mum here today, I have not been here in 5 years or so and I was blown away! The decor and building is beautiful, and the food was delicious. The roasties were spot on, and the cranberry stuffing balls were very good. We shared the cheesecake for dessert and it was one of the best cheesecakes I have ever tried, we could have eaten 10 more slices of it! The waitresses were very friendly and provided a good service too. Highly recommend for a solid roast dinner in Liverpool.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Cosy Club. The decor is interesting and atmospheric. Service is very good and the food was lovely. I tried the Chorizo Hash. Really fancied a nice pot of simple English tea, so came here. The tea was great, while here I got breakfast, salmon,Avocado and eggs on toast. The restaurant was nicely decorated. The food was just OK, the fish fillet and sauce was good but the steak was very tough and difficult to chew! It felt veiny and the food just ruined the nice atmosphere the restaurant had. The service was slacking, place was very empty but still no one to bring you to your table despite the “wait to be seated” sign. As we tried to get our own seats, finally did they mind and stopped us from grabbing our own seats. They made us wait next to a sea of empty tables, then they left to handle some other dishes before finally seating us. We did not feel respected at all. But it was fine, we came for the pictures and never coming back here again.
Moon C — Google review
The food was good, not exceptional, the salad was just ok, the seafood linguini was better. The veggie burger was great. They do need to add a bit more ice cream to the desserts that come with one small scoop to balance them out. There was one person behind the bar who took the order and seemed a bit lost, possibly new at the job, but the others were efficient and the service was friendly overall. I am giving 5 stars mainly for the atmosphere and seating which lives up to its name. Dog friendly too.

We tried mamasan for lunch for our daughters first birthday! Went for a weekday lunch....food was really good and 2 course deal was very good value. Drinks and starter came promptly, however, the main course took overran hour. I have a sneaking suspicion that we must have been overlooked. We weren't in a hurry luckily but can't give a high score for that reason....shame really as the ctual service was ok and very friendly. Would definitely go back with the hope that I could improve the score.

The expectation we had was high. And that’s probably the reason why i rated the whole experience a bit low. The Thai food was good, but also not great. I ordered the egg fried rice but it was disappointing. It doesn’t taste good and smells funny. The starters were nice though. We also enjoyed our drinks. The staff were nice and food arrived after 30-45mins so not really desirable. We would still recommend the place, esp to people who want to maybe dance and drink as there was loud music and dj plus dance floor. Not sure if we would come back. Maybe we can try other stuff.

Visited here with friends at the start of the Christmas period and decided we’d all go for the Festive menu. We were told that we either all had to go off the festive taster or all go for the small plates. Nevertheless, this initial hiccup was resolved and Wow! What an excellent pan-Asian fine dining experience, couldn’t fault the standard of food that was sent out, such a beautiful variety of flavours. Very nice stylish interior and a great location right in the heart of Liverpool’s booming Brewery Village. Would recommend to a friend looking for a venue for a special occasion.

Had bottomless brunch here, service was alright and there was a selection of spirits and mixers with 3 cocktail options however the food was sub par. The spring rolls were delicious but the main of sweet and sour was giving primary school dinners. Sorry but definitely would not go here again for £40pp.

Really good service, attentive staff and friendly. Food was okay I think the snacks were probably the best part of the food. We had prawn crackers, caramelised walnuts and pork crunch with honey sauce for snacks which I would definitely recommend. For starter we had pork ribs which are unfortunately not any different than any pork ribs from a local chippy. We had duck and pancakes and pork bao bun for mains, these were again a disappointment as we felt they were just the same as a takeaways dishes. Lastly for desserts we had the chocolate sphere, cherry blossom and the Chinese doughnuts. We were really looking forward to the desserts and we were hoping these would change our opinion on the restaurant but unfortunately these only made it worse. The chocolate sphere and the cherry blossom were overly sweet while the caramel sauce for the doughnuts was extremely bitter. Overall not a very good experience and would not go here again.

Very dissapointed with our visit tonight after high recommendations from my son who visited last week. My Birthday celebration tonight and we had a table of 6 booked right opposite the pass, one thing we all noticed was the noise level !! Very high... which made talking very difficult. It was great to see the chefs at work who were very busy, along with the waiting staff who were so understaffed and overworked that trying to get attention to order drinks was hard work !! Along with that they very rarely looked up as they worked, so trying to catch their eye rarely happened and my wife had to get off her seat 4 times in total during the evening to either get cutlery or ask for more drinks. Chefs were getting annoyed dinging the bell and shouting "Service" there just wasn't enough staff ... and boy your paying for it but not getting it. So on to the food, I had the ribs which was presented on a plate with a circular glass lid over the ribs with wood fired smoke emanating which was all good theatre !! Taste was good, but the sauce was too salty which was a pity. Wife had the Siu Mai which was again OK and served with chilli oil. Time between courses was long !! probably due to the shortage of staff, and we waited 45 minutes for the starter, then another 45 minutes for the Duck, then a further 45 minutes for the Main course !! The seats are not that comfortable so sitting for over 2hrs before the main course even arrived had most of us shifting continuously and watching the pass waiting for the food !! Main course arrived finally, and my wife's sea bass was raw in the middle ... Great !! I had the beef which was really tasty and my other son had the chicken which was also very tasty. Accompanied with this was noodles and egg fried rice... one point I would like to make is that just putting a fried egg on top of fried rice is lazy in my book, and nobody on the table wanted to smash up the egg as we were sharing several sides so both eggs were just left in empty bowls 😔. The bill was very expensive for what we received , poor service and average food other than the mains, which I must stress was not caused by the waiting staff who were trying their best ... they were just swamped with customers in the venue which then affected service. Sorry to say we will not be returning any time soon.

Bottomless brunch - the service was impeccable and the food was okay too. I would recommend the cauliflower main over the Szechuan chicken. Vladimir made our experience - he was very attentive & made sure we had constant flowing cocktails.

Excellent restaurant, with Chinese cuisine influence, from the masterful chef Dave Critchley! Every single detail is carefully planned and looked after and despite the attention invested in all aspects of the dining, the service feels very natural and welcoming, reflecting genuinely the true nature of local Liverpoolian hospitality. Flavours, smells, colours and atmosfere, all contribute to an unique and enjoyable dining experience!! Highly recommended!!

3rd time here, 1st time at the chefs table. Dave Chritchley was fantastic explaining every dish he served and was more than happy to answer any of our questions and engage in conversation. What can I say the food exceeded all expectations with not one guest finding any fault with their food. Will be visiting again soon.

The hype here is well deserved. Started with pre dinner cocktails at the bar. It was a bit quiet during my midweek 3:30 booking so the place lacked atmosphere but I hardly notice because the food was so good. The presentation is a work of art and the taste - divine. 👌🏻

Lovely restaurant situated on the Liverpool docks. Served by Lewis who was very polite and on point. The wine selection offered up by Lewis was impressive. Really enjoyed the red wine. Food was really good. The Carbonara was especially good.. recommend 5*****
Andrew S — Google review
This place is somewhat of a local legend. I’ve been meaning to come here for a while, but I’m quite lazy and I haven’t stayed down near the Albert Dock recently, so it’s had to wait until that came around again.. Anyhow, that time has now come and so I took the opportunity to visit on a grey and windswept summers day, as squalls whipped across the dock and tourists ran for cover. The restaurant itself is in one of the dockside Pavillions - if you’ve been here, you’ll know the score. Beautiful brick buildings that were rescued from dereliction in the mid-1980s; former warehouse buildings, they have brick vaults, low ceilings and loads of character. Some of the refurb is a bit 80s’tastic, as you’d expect, but it has mainly stood the test of time well. Gusto itself is in one of the first pavilions that you come to as you come in the main gate opposite the Hilton, next to the Dockmaster’s office. The entrance is discrete, as they all are here, with corner signage and an inset door. Inside, the restaurant is dark, although there is a wall of glass dockside, with views of the water and the boats. Seated straight away on what appeared to be quite a busy night, the service was good and drinks etc were offered quickly. They had Noam, which is quite a fancy beer that I’ve only had previously in Gaucho - it’s a German-style beer that comes in quite a fancy bottle. Love a fancy bottle. I wasn’t actually very hungry, so I was focussed on smaller meals that packed a punch in terms of flavour, rather than a pizza or something like that (their pizzas are good though - had one in Edinburgh). To start, I chose the arancini - this was an excellent portion, three little arancini with mozzarella and saffron aioli. Big flavours and very rich. Hit. For a main, they had a three-meat lasagna, which sounded good - I actually saw someone else having this, so knew the portion was reasonable. A bit weird it didn’t say what the three meats were - I assume pork, chicken and beef? - but overall the flavour was good. The waiter seemed to think I would need sides, but it really didn’t need sides - I guess I could have had garlic bread, but it didn’t need it. Some people might order chips with it, but that would be greedy. No pudding on this occasion, as I was full, but they do a very nice tiramisu - as I recall from Edinburgh, they serve this from a big bowl at the table. I mean, that’s a degree of theatre I don’t necessarily need in my life, but it does presumably demonstrate that the tiramisu is freshly made in house. That’s nice. Overall I would definitely eat here again - this is a nice restaurant, the food was pretty good value and the service was efficient and friendly - if you like cocktails etc, then there seemed to be a lot of that going on as well behind me, with much rattling of the cocktail shaker. I think next time I’ll have the garlic mushrooms to start and the salsicca pizza for a main - I will even splash out the 45p to make it a diavola with the addition of fresh chilli. Well done, two paws up. Recommended.

Just had a beautiful meal here. Staff amazing and so was the food. We enjoyed every mouthful, didn't want it to end! The only thing I would change is a few more sun dried tomatoes and bread on the sharing board, but it was all thoroughly enjoyed. Sorry I didnt take a photo of our starter, it was absolutely beautiful. THANK YOU

We visited this evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our kids. The staff were really friendly (especially Giuliana, who couldn’t do enough for us!), especially with our daughters, the food was delicious ( the make your own pizza on the kids menu is brilliant!) and the place itself was lovely. It was our first visit but we’ll definitely be back! The special dessert we were brought for our anniversary made it all even more special!

We came in off the chance late on a Saturday. The restaurant was so busy we thought we would be turned away. A little 5 minute wait in the bar and was shown to our table. Louise was looking after us, her service was great and we was well looked after all evening. The food was delicious, drinks was great. Not sure what more you could ask for!

We have been to many restaurants around the world but this one has the best gluten free pizza we have ever tasted! All the food was great! We had a great dinner with an amazing service we received from Michal all along they way. We will definitely return to the restaurant next time we come to Liverpool

We had an exceptional lunch at Gusto Italian Liverpool. The food and drinks were top-notch, with delicious flavours and generous portions that really made the meal special. However, the service was just okay. Initially, we sat outside by the dock, which was lovely but very windy. Unfortunately, when we had to move inside because of the weather, we didn’t receive any assistance from staff, which was a bit disappointing. The final bill for our party of four came to £140 for a midday lunch, including a 12.5% service charge that was automatically added. While the food and drinks definitely made up for the average service, it’s worth being aware of the added charge. Overall, Gusto is a great spot if you’re looking for exceptional Italian cuisine in a lively, picturesque setting.

The Botanist Albert Dock is a pirate-themed bar and restaurant located in the vaulted basement of Liverpool's Royal Albert Dock. It offers a unique experience with rum cocktails, deli boards, BBQ meats, and an immersive atmosphere. The venue is known for its signature Hanging Pancake Kebab and live music performances on a dedicated stage area. Guests can enjoy the beautiful greenery installations and hand-painted artwork while savoring their meals in a secret garden setting.
Set in the stunning surrounds of The Albert Dock, The Botanist is a visual treat—rustic décor, warm lighting, and the kind of ambiance that makes you want to order everything on the menu… twice. The highlight? The hanging kebabs. Absolute showstoppers. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and dripping in flavour (literally—watch that garlic butter drizzle like edible theatre). They’re as fun to eat as they are to photograph. Service was top-notch, especially from Bobby, who brought big smiles, solid recommendations, and just the right amount of banter. It’s the kind of service that elevates a meal into an experience—Bobby deserves a raise and a hanging kebab of his own. Now, the only misstep? The 8-ounce steak. Cooked well, but a little too fatty for the price point. At a place that nails presentation and vibe, you’d expect a leaner cut or a bit more finesse for what you're paying. That said, drinks were inventive, desserts tempting, and the views over the dock? Chef’s kiss. It’s a great spot for date night, group dinners, or just treating yourself with a side of atmosphere.

Popped into The Botanist for their 'Showcase Christmas Menu' today—my first time having food here after only having drinks before, and it was brilliant! The food was gorgeous and the service was absolutely spectacular—truly top-notch. A special mention to the friendly and professional Italian chap who gave a superb, fun cocktail-making class! The whole team was so kind and attentive. I highly recommend coming here if you're thinking of booking your Christmas dinner; it's the perfect taster! Thank you for a wonderful visit!

We went for a cocktail making experience. Drinks were already served and on the table waiting for us when we got there. Making our own was definitely an experience but very fun and then having two more cocktails on top plug food was definitely worth the money.
Kayleigh B — Google review
We popped in, via walk in, for dinner and had a lovely meal. Our server Katy was super attentive and friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Our starters were corn dogs and boneless chicken wings, which were tasty and freshly cooked. The mains of glazed smash burger and sesame chicken strips were also excellent. There’s a good range of bottled beers, but they only had one beer, a pilsner, on via draft. The only downside to the visit was the menus. They are filthy, and are caked in old food and drink. You have to wash your hands again after ordering, they are that dirty.
Christopher L — Google review
Had a quick bite, loaded nachos were very tasty, would have preferred a bit more crunch and maple glaze on the on the corn ribs. Friendly staff. Not many there when we visited so not much atmosphere, but that goes without saying at the time

The good was really good with large portions. A little bit expensive. Vegan options were a bit sparse and they had run out of vegan ice cream

Great food and service as usual. I love that TGIF don't charge you for soda water like some other places (Zizzi for example). Sadly the loaded potato skins were out of stock, but they have Chicken Finger BLT back on the menu! Woo! Always my favourite dinner choice at TGIF. Great mocktail choices as usual, though my favourite is off the menu atm. Always happy to visit at this branch when I'm in Liverpool.

Overall had a great time at tgis for a bottomless brunch wasn’t completely happy to be honest when we were seated the seats had food on them that had not been cleared and I noticed it on other tables aswell. We could see the bar from where we were sat and could see are drinks were made but then sat on the bar for 15 minutes before being given to us. On the bottomless brunch you get 3 plates between too and we had to wait an extra 15 minutes for wings we ordered and they were really burnt when they arrived. I would probably do another bottomless brunch at tgis but would probably go to a different location. Had a cocktail outside afterwards as we didn’t upgrade the bottomless brunch.

OH MY DEAR LORD IN HEAVEN THE FOOD. As a starter, my family tried the mozzarella sticks, and we could all agree that they were the best we've ever had. And the main meals were incredible. I enjoyed my chicken burger, my brothers enjoyed their dream pasta and fabulous burger, my dad loved his beef sandwich, and my mum claimed her burger was the best she's ever had. This an absolutely brilliant establishment. FIVE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Dylan B — Google review
Server Lydia was absolutely amazing, when looking around the restaurant she seemed to be the only one working and was visibly overworked as we passed x3 service team standing on the stairs talking on different occasions. I booked a table for 4 adults and 1 child yet was told they had booked me as 5 adults and weren’t sure if they could accommodate with a high chair for the child despite accepting the booking. Waited 45 minutes for desserts. The place we were seated was beside the screen the staff use for orders etc, when engaging in any conversation with the other parties, a black haired member of staff would stare us down whenever she was around. I am not the type to usually complain, however it was just a bad atmosphere to be in and to see only one server running around doing her absolute best for everyone’s tables does seem unfair.

Been on our list for a while and we finally got the chance to go but if honest were a little underwhelmed by the food. The restaurant itself is very unique and quirky which we loved. Staff were friendly and there was a good selection draft beers. Where it was letdown was the food, it was nice but overall too salty and it wasn't until the end we could place what wasn't quite right. It was only ok but not amazing as we'd been hoping. They also did NHS discount which was a nice bonus. Overall great restaurant but the food just didn't hit the mark for us. But we wouldn't hesitate to nip in for a pint or two due to the selection on draft and enjoy the surroundings

We went here after a recommendation from a friend, boy was he in trouble! My food was completely cold not an ounce of warmth to it, my family complained theres was only just warm too but with an imminent ferry to catch sending it back wasn't an option . I had the honey butter waffles with one measley piece of bacon what a let down! The place looks great and the staff were nice enough but the main thing being the food lets it down. Food was tasty, I had the chicken breast, bees knees and sweet potato fries and enjoyed it. Service was amazing and staff were super friendly, basically got a beer by the time I ordered it and the Paulaner was amazing never had it before but definitely one to try if you're here. Really cool chilled out vibe and nice decor, even have an arcade game machine and beer pong table, can imagine having pre-drinks would be fun. Definitely come back if I'm back in Liverpool.

Such a cool place, downstairs in the basement, I really love the decor. The chicken is very good, I'd recommend the 'bees knees' sauce if you like a bit of spice. Only downside is you have to pricey drinks.

Very clean and unique restaurant in the heart of Liverpool. 5 of us seated in a booth and the service was great. A veriety of meals ordered and they came out quite quickly. I had the Chicken Breast with Korean sauce with dirty fries and a side order of "not chicken nuggets", essentially Halloumi chunks with a choice of sauce. We will be going again and they do a range of discounts for certain job roles in the community 😁 Recent visit for 15 of us and still did not disappoint. This time the Dirty Katsu Fries and Monkey Balls were fantastic.

First of all: The pink lemonade was stunning! The place has such a cool vibe. Beautiful decorations and friendly, attentive waitresses. Super pet friendly, lots of doggies inside. You can order on the bar or using your phone - registration was super quick and payment almost automatic through apple pay. However, older guests might find it all discomfortable. Food came really quickly, just a couple of minutes after the order. They have a very large menu from snacks to breakfast to soups to homemade food and burgers. A full menu on vegan and another one on gluten free. Kids menu also available and the place takes great care about any allergies you might have. Really, lots of options to everybody - perfect to go with a big group and get everybody happy!

There were new planters for outside, creating a divide between them and other restaurants and this caused a problem for wheelchairs. However, staff were quick to come out with a ramp and an apology. Superb location right next to the Museum of Liverpool at the water front. Would Healy nice sitting outside if it’s sunny and warm. Service is very nice, food served fast. The panini is great, but the Malaysia fried rice is too spicy, should have marked it in the menu.

Visited Brasco Lounge, Monday morning at 9am for a breakfast and WOW what a wide choice and what a feast! freshly cooked bacon, fried eggs, sausages, beans, tomato, hash browns, mushroom, black pudding and two slices of toast. The quality of the food is superb as was the fresh coffee. Jay and his staff were polite and attentive. Nothing was too much for them in this beautifully and tastefully decorated restaurant. For its sheer size, quality and more importantly taste this has to be the best value breakfast in Liverpool. The location of this tastefully decorated and homely restaurant is superb. The Baltic Social is a trendy, industrial-style venue in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle, offering a unique twist on traditional afternoon tea. Their Punk Tea and Veggie Punk Teas feature unconventional delights like mini burgers, hotdogs, mac & cheese balls, and deep fried ham hock alongside sweet treats like red velvet cake and Oreo sponge cake. This alternative to the classic British afternoon tea also includes options for vegetarians with dishes such as deep fried halloumi with pineapple and Quorn hot dogs.
What a lovely place! Had afternoon tea here on a Sunday and it was superb. The atmosphere is great. There were groups of people there for Sunday Roast and a baby shower. A family with young children enjoyed their lunch. A few couples came in for a quiet drink and the place never felt rammed or unwelcoming. Staff are chilled and helpful. The food not only looks good but tasted fresh and with decent portions was pretty satisfying. Loved the idea that the "tea" served with the "Afternoon Tea" was really a cocktail. Unique without trying too hard at all!

Good atmosphere in the industrial setting of Liverpool Baltic Triangle. We went for a Punk Afternoon Tea which they cater for vegan and veggie along with a meat option. You can choose cocktails which are presented in tea pots which was rather quirky. Food wise its definitely an alternative menu to the traditional afternoon tea and we enjoyed it all with the exception of the veggie cleanser posset - looked unappealing as very watery, looked as those the ingredients had split. We didn't complain as we were totally full up. Would go again
Alison B — Google review
I like the idea of this place; cool, chilled and casual - my kind of place. I had the salt & pepper burger which was nice although the chips were a little under cooked. Only downside was that there were quite a lot of fruit flies around which then made it feel as if the place was unclean.
Clare J — Google review
Our first visit to the The Baltic Social was to take part in Day 1 of the "Pint of Science" Event. A Good choice of beers, food looked good (to be fair we didn't eat there) and the staff were friendly. For an event like this, the sound system was poor at its best and, the restrooms far from pleasant. Two out of the three presentations were engaging and well presented. Overall an enjoyable night.
John D — Google review
Staff were very nice and so was the decor, so I feel quite bad giving a low review, but I was unfortunately so disappointed. They were out of lots of things including certain wine, nachos and chicken, which ruled out a lot of the menu. Considering it was a pretty quiet evening this was kind of surprising. Some of the food was really tasty, especially the cauliflower wings, and portions were generous. But others were quite poor. The salt and pepper chips were nothing like they usually are, with oven fries in minimal seasoning topped with raw onion and chilli. They didn't even have the pepper on which is advertised on the menu - it was a strange one. Usually the vegetables are cooked. We were also given salad cream when we asked for mayo which I didn't mind but was a bit strange. Given the lack of items available, we were kind of bummed out when a service charge was added at the end which we didn't know about. There are some quite whacky cocktails which were nice and served in teapots and teacups, so if you're thinking of visiting I would stick to drinks. If you want specific things from menu you may be gambling on the availability.
Bella — Google review
Excellent quality and reasonable prices, especially for the Baltic Triangle. Staff are very friendly and service is quick. The interior decoration is a bit of a mix-match but works for the casual, welcoming atmosphere.

The Baltic Social is a great place to eat and drink. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. Try the traditional Scouse. Another bonus is that The Baltic Social is open when the nearby eateries in the Cains Brewery are shut early in the week.

We came here today for a Sunday roast, the food and drinks were okay, but not worth what we paid, and the menu was initially very enticing too. We were there for 2.5 hours (only eating mains) because the food took so long. When it eventually did come it was cold, then took a further ten minutes to reheat by microwave. To top it off, we tried to order dessert and were told 15 minutes later that what we wanted wasn't available. The staff seemed rushed off their feet and not able to keep up with customers/requests. Probably wouldn't return.

Firepit in the bar area. German beers on tap, but seemed a limited selection. Would like some more choice. Hearty food including schitzel and pigs knuckle. Sunday menu is limited due to sunday linch options such as lancashire beef and cheshire chicken. Decent price

Been here a few times, mainly for drinks but had a roast there last Sunday and it was absolutely fantastic, we couldn’t have been happier so I highly recommend. Midweek it’s nice for a quiet drink with a nice mood and lighting. Really good location and the price isn’t bad to be fair. Our roast with 2 drinks came to less than £40 which isn’t bad going especially when it’s in the heart of L1. Definitely be going back!

Had dinner here a couple nights ago on 13/08/25, was served by Dorrie who was absolutely wonderful. I wanted to try some local beer that was on tap so I asked for her recommendations, she told us they have some beer on rotations that are not on the menu and brought us a small glass to try. The food was great as well, we had the Scotch eggs and pork knuckles which we couldn't even finish. Overall great service and great food.

Great place and great food. Seriously let down by the service. We were seated and offered drinks and order taken quite quickly. Then It took 45 minutes for the food to arrive, waitress was hardly visible. No offer to top up the drinks, no visible contact to see how we were. For all she knew we could have been vaporised. If it wasn’t for this it would have had a 5.

Very helpful in regards to my mushroom allergy. The only restaurant I have ever eaten in which went to the trouble of checking on the actual ingredients in a dish. It meant I couldn't have the pork knuckle, which my husband thoroughly enjoyed, but my salmon was very nice.

Really enjoyed the main courses we both had wurst sausages. Beer was great and had a good selection but i would suggest some pairing suggestions on menu. Service was quick and friendly but it felt a few people short considering the number of tables. My only complaint was the deserts they were ok but felt like a complete afterthought of the restaurant.

Proper good venue. It's a decent size and has an industrial feel about it. Brilliant for live performances. We saw Metallica Reloaded here and they were tremendous! I've knocked one star off for the price of the drinks! Daylight robbery! Two G&Ts and a can of Guinness zero was £25!! Apart from the ripoff drinks, staff are friendly and as a live music venue, it can't be faulted! Recommended. Not highly recommended I'm afraid.

1970s daytime disco. Music great, drinks not cheap but ok. Not too busy. Shame the floor totally ruined my shoes. Took great chunks out of the sole and heel, my friend exactly the same, God knows what's on it!! Don't wear anything you like a lot! The floor glues to your feet.

Went for the comic con after party and was such an amazing night! We had acts from Drag Castle and Leigh Francis was the DJ but did also come out as his alter egos from bo selecta and Keith lemon! Then a fantastic performance from the Double Band who were just shit hot! Rating 3 stars because drinks were very expensive. I was like 20 quid for 2 double vodkas and coke 😬

Went to Day fever on 20th Sept 25. I was happy enough, however, my 2 friends were a little disappointed, as there was nothing for the £12+ entry. They felt a complimentary drink should have been on offer, especially as the drinks are expensive (£19.80 for 3 single vodkas and mixers) and not Smirkoff, in small plastic cups! For that reason we only stayed till 6pm

Good gig venue - nice space. Drinks aren't too expensive, although a couple more alcohol-free beer options would be good. Would recommend.

Great pub with a great atmosphere. We went to see a fabulous local band called Trilogy. They were amazing! My 81 year old mother never stopped dancing all night. Great variety of drinks and plenty of staff, so didn't have to wait to order drinks long at the bar. Felt really safe in there.

Our family a great experience at O’Neill’s! The food was absolutely delicious — everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. What really made the visit even better was our server, Chloe. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed from start to finish. Her service was spot-on — always checking in and offering great service. Would definitely come back, both for the food and the excellent service!

Ordered food and she explained the menu well as my daughters ares are both fussy eaters. BrewDog Liverpool, located in the trendy Ropewalks area, is a no-nonsense chain bar that focuses on serving craft beers from the Scottish brewery. The taproom offers a great selection of guest ales and craft beers, including their popular Punk IPA. It's an ideal spot for couples or friends to enjoy pub classics like burgers, wings, and salads. Additionally, they have a special offer on juicy burgers from Monday to Wednesday between 12 pm and 3 pm.
Had such a great afternoon in Brewdog Liverpool today. Came in to use a burger and beer flight voucher for my husband’s birthday but stayed longer because we were having such a lovely afternoon. The beer and the food were delicious and the service from Sam, the barman, was second to none. From serving the food to informing us about the different beers, he was warm, friendly and helpful and really helped to make a special afternoon even better. Would definitely recommend popping in for a visit. Warning - you may just spend the whole day here. 😊🥰

Brilliant bar featuring a wide range of BrewDog and guest drinks. Including and not limited to Lager, IPA, Sour beers, Fruit beers, Ales, Stout, Vodka, Gin, soft drinks. A huge variety of draught taps means there's always something new to try. They also feature events such as Oktoberfest and collabfest which gives a brilliant opportunity to try even more. The staff are super friendly, notably Brad, Luke, Ben, Lou who are always on hand to help with whatever questions you have. The food is nice and especially cheap on Wednesdays when they offer an unlimited wings Wednesdays (must be booked online). Very child and family friendly and they offer kids meals with colouring books and board games to play whilst here. Overall a fantastic bar and I'd definitely recommend a visit!

A really great place in Liverpool! The beer selection is excellent, and the quality is top-notch. I especially enjoyed the burgers – probably the best I’ve had in Liverpool so far. The bartender deserves a special mention: very kind, attentive, and helpful. He was happy to recommend and explain things, and even when our order took a bit longer than expected, he offered us a beer on the house as a kind gesture. That really made a difference. Another nice bonus is that you can get a free beer by signing up for the membership, which adds extra value. The only area for improvement is the toilets – they could be cleaned and maintained more thoroughly. Overall, fantastic experience, great food and drinks, and excellent service. I will definitely be coming back!

Chicken restaurant

Hamburger restaurant
Pattersons in Liverpool is renowned for its delectable fried chicken, lively atmosphere, and impressive cocktail selection. The secret to their mouthwatering fried chicken lies in a 40-year-old recipe that involves brining the chicken in a special blend of herbs and spices for over 24 hours, soaking it in buttermilk, and coating it with a secret flour mixture. This iconic recipe was developed by two locals with a passion for American cuisine.
This was my second trip back to pattersons, after a busy Christmas shipping day we was pleased to get a table here. The Christmas menu was delicious and we got a few to try. The camenbert cauliflower cheese was so good, the chicken is always fresh and tasty and I loved the 3 Christmas sliders. We will be back again no doubt after a shopping day!

Love pattersons been coming for years and one of my favourite places to relax, get a bite to eat and listen to some awesome tunes. We were in yesterday and got served by Lana and she was a dream, so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. She’s such a great addition to the team!

Genuinely such delicious chicken. The meat itself is great quality, and the flavour is great! We enjoyed the sides and the spicy chicken as well. Servers were attentive, and the place had a nostalgic vibe. Will be back!

Fantastic place and well prices, staff were friendly and food was on point. They even use the classic Chinese bbq flavouring that stains your fingers red! A classic throwback dining experience and fantastic value for money. The sharing platter is definitely worth the money you get a taste of everything and won't need to eat for the next 2 days!
John C — Google review
I recently visited Patersons in Liverpool and was disappointed. Despite the hype, my meal was underwhelming. The chicken thighs were severely under-seasoned, overcooked, and tasted like they were fried in old oil, resulting in a burnt batter and bitter taste. To my surprise, normal fries weren’t available with the chicken deal, so I had to settle for undercooked hash browns with a synthetic-tasting cheese sauce. The coleslaw was overly creamy, and the gravy tasted like instant Bisto. Even the margarita wasn’t enjoyable. Overall, not worth the high price. Two stars.
Theo K — Google review
One of my favourite places to eat in the city centre. Salt and pepper sharing platter was amazing. Would recommend to anyone that loves fried chicken
Mark B — Google review
I’m a wings gal so I’ve been told about this place a lot. I finally went it didn’t disappoint. Me and my friend had the K Pop Wings (I had 6 and they were quite filling), chicken tenders, curly fries, 2-4-1 cocktails, mac and cheese with corn. It was around £25 each which I thought was really good value considering how nice it was. The girl serving us was new that week. She was super friendly and did a really good job even when we had questions she wasn’t 100% sure about yet. I also LOVE how on the screens they were showing Hot Ones and Robot Wars 😂 What a vibe. Plus they have board games which is a fun addition although I don’t know if I’ll be cracking out a game of Twister any time soon!

The place is really cozy and pleasant. The staff is attentive and welcoming. We ordered two pints of beer and a Loaded Fries, the only downside was that it took longer than expected to arrive at the table. However, it did not disappoint us at all, very tasty and succulent. Nestled on the third floor of the Bentley Building, Liberté Sky Garden is a vibrant oasis that perfectly blends eclectic Asian fusion cuisine with creative cocktails. This rooftop bar offers stunning views of Liverpool's waterfront and iconic landmarks like the Three Graces and Liver Building. The decor is a feast for the eyes, featuring bright colors, graffiti art by Jazz Stan, and neon lighting that creates an inviting atmosphere for any occasion—be it lunch or a glamorous night out.
5 Stars – Absolutely Loved It! Liberté Sky Garden is, hands down, one of the best spots I’ve visited in Liverpool! From the moment I walked in, the views blew me away—the city and waterfront look stunning from up on the rooftop. What really stood out: Friendly Staff: Every team member I spoke to was welcoming and attentive. You can tell they genuinely care about guests having a great time. Vibe & Atmosphere: There’s a real buzz—whether you’re there for a chilled brunch or an evening with live music, the atmosphere is always spot on. Food & Drinks: The menu is creative and caters for everyone, including vegetarians and vegans. I loved the cocktails—super tasty and presented beautifully. Events: Went during one of their themed nights, and it was extremely well-organized. The music, setting, and energy made for an unforgettable night out. If you’re planning a get-together, special occasion, or just want to try something new in Liverpool, I can’t recommend Liberté Sky Garden enough. Already planning my next visit!

You often find that places with amazing views can slack on service, but not here. From the security on the door to every single server we interacted with, the staff were genuinely friendly, professional, and accommodating. It’s the combination of the stunning venue and the absolutely stellar service that makes this place a standout. Made our night truly special.
Yusuf K — Google review
Went for a friend's birthday party here last weekend and it was absolutely epic. The place was buzzing with energy, the DJ was playing absolute bangers all night long, and the atmosphere was electric. It wasn't just a few people having drinks; it was a full-on party on top of the city. Seeing the sunset and then the city lights come alive while dancing with all my mates was an unreal experience. The staff were amazing, keeping the drinks flowing despite how busy it was. If you get a chance to go to an event here, do not hesitate. Best night out I've had in Liverpool in ages!
Altug O — Google review
The food never arrived. The servers were sweet and the bad experience wasn’t their fault but the manager on staff and the upper management team was rude and disrespectful literally throwing things at my friend. The dancing and music would’ve been fun if I’d ever actually gotten my food since I was told four times it was on its way. So instead of having fun, I had to wait there. Terrible exprience. Truly zero stars.
Mercedes D — Google review
Decent if you’re doing the bottomless brunch, and if the sun is out and you’re on the rooftop. 🌞 The food was terrible (chicken skewers were burnt and bland, and three tiny tempura prawns) so wouldn’t recommend here for eating. 🍔 On the flip side, the cocktails were top tier! 🍹 The place is ideal for Hen Parties / Girl Groups! 👧🏼
Gary T — Google review
You honestly can't prepare yourself for the view. You step out onto the terrace and BAM, the Liver Building is right there in all its glory. We spent a solid two hours just soaking it all in on a gorgeous sunny afternoon. The cocktails were top-notch – I had a spicy margarita that was perfectly balanced. It's not just a bar, it's a full-on Liverpool experience. If you haven't been, you're genuinely missing out. An absolute must-visit.
Mutlu A — Google review
If I could give zero stars, I would. The management clearly let power go to their heads. Rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in empathy. Service was appalling, and their attitude even worse. I strongly recommend they take a customer service refresher and an allergen awareness course. Justice for Jess!
Aimee B — Google review
Terrible communication. Booked a bottomless brunch table months in advance only to be texted 4 days before being told it would either be cancelled with refund or changed from 7pm to 3pm with NO explanation. With such short notice and the booking supposed to be on a saturday night no where else is available to book! This was supposed to be a special occasion for a birthday absolutely poor. Not to mention the deposit won’t be refunded in time for the occasion.

Tapas Revolution Liverpool is a relaxed chain restaurant located in Queens Square, offering traditional Spanish tapas, paellas, and desserts. The restaurant opened in October 2021 and provides a modern-day Barcelona or Ibiza ambiance. The menu features authentic tapas favorites and flavorful paellas, with options for vegans such as roasted butternut squash with chickpeas, oyster mushrooms, piquillo peppers, and baby spinach.
Lovely food 😋. Extremely friendly staff. We had some questions about some of the sauces and the staff was extremely happy to help us and inform us of everything that was in the sauce. The salted almonds are amazing as well. Would definitely recommend for everyone to try them. And the paella was amazing and huge portions.

Food is ok, but is over seasoned. The draft San Miguel was excellent, and I usually drink craft ale. The service was great and friendly and The bill came to £110 for the set menu (2 X 5 plate sharing menu) and a drink for four people.Make sure 'not' to tip as a 12.5% service charge is pre added to your bill.
Christopher L — Google review
If you want to taste Spanish food, steer clear of this restaurant. This is a real insult to Spanish food. We ordered a platter of bread, thinking it would be a nice selection of tasty bread. I kid you not. We were served 2 slices of basic white toast with a pot of olive oil and garlic sauce! Our chips were supposed to be seasoned with paprika. No seasoning. Plain chips. Tortilla plain. Croquettes and churros were the only thing that tasted ok, but certainly not as tasty as proper Spanish style. Kids were advertised as eating for free over summer hols. I called to confirm, and manager told me the last day was Friday. We went on Friday, and upon arrival we are told infact the promotion ended the day before! Waiter was polite, and assisted with queries. I am sure this restaurant will shut down very soon.

“My visit to Restaurant Tapas Revolution in Queen Square Liverpool was extremely disappointing. The atmosphere of the place was dead, which made my experience even more unpleasant. What shocked me the most was the exorbitant bill I received at the end of the meal. I ordered a simple pint and a tapa of meatballs, and they charged me the whopping sum of £17.38, including a £2 service fee that had not been mentioned to me beforehand. This policy of adding tips without asking the customer is abusive and lacks transparency. The prices at this restaurant are clearly excessive, and I felt like I had been robbed at gunpoint. I will not recommend this place, and of course, I will never return. I strongly discourage anyone looking for an affordable and enjoyable dining experience in Liverpool from visiting here. This experience at Tapas Revolution was a major letdown and made me feel like they did not value their customers.”

me and my boyfriend came here on the last day of our stay in Liverpool, we were drawn in by the 2 for £10 cocktails. I've only been here before on sunny days and sat outside on the balcony with a pint. It's a nice place to spend an afternoon with a nice view of the Albert Dock. It does get busy though when the weather's good so you need to get there early if you want a table. Today it was cold so I sat inside for the first time. It's huge inside with two floors and plenty of benches. Service was quick and efficient and a good selection of beers. I must come back one day and try out the German food.

Visited on a Sunday and just stayed for one drink but it’s a cool place. No atmosphere but this was due to the day/time we visited I expect. The bar itself is big, but then we found the cavernous sports bar area and the German beer hall at the rear. Both were completely empty but I’m sure it would be buzzing when full. Beer was cold and available in pints or plastic steins. Nice outside seating area. Two steins were twenty five quid though which was quite a lot, but there was a lot of beer!

The location is great and the view over the Royal Albert docks is also incredible but the overall experience was a little strange. It is possible that this is simply the restaurant’s policy, but given how much is self service, it is hard for people with small children or reduced mobility to get what they need quickly. The food and portions are good but would recommend that the management also implements something slightly more family friendly so that it is open to all.

Went in on a Saturday night last month and I gotta say I'm well impressed. Love it's unique-ness and the staff & drinks were absolutely "spot on". We had the chicken burger and chicken kebab. The burger was very mediocre, for the price range it’s the worst burger in Liverpool. The chicken kebab was a random flavour a mix between sauté chicken and hummus and the chicken was also cold as if it had just come out the fridge and to top it off the chips were unbearably salty. Luckily we were hungry and powered through. Would go for drinks as the atmosphere seemed nice but the food is by far the worst value in Liverpool. Based on what we saw this was the reject place from Baltic Market. If the queues to big at Baltic market this is where you go and fall into the trap

This was our first visit for lunch but won't be the last. Good variety even though it was quiet over Christmas break. We had dishes from love kimchi, loaded fries, corn dogs and spring rolls. Will be trying other places here. Came again and tried Tang, Ramen broth was soooo nice. Also Love Kimchi , tried donburi but a little disappointed as I expected few side veg in the bowl.

Great spot in Liverpool with plenty of choice which is great for groups. The service was very slow for a quiet Saturday afternoon with us having to wait excessively for everything. The drinks took about 20 minutes. Jailbird took about 25 minutes but the chicken wings were fantastic when they arrived. Love Kimchi was over 50 minutes wait which I asked at least twice how much longer it would be. The Korean fried chicken was some of the best I’ve ever had but far too long a wait without warning. Little pricey compared to others in that area, but something different and worth a visit.

Came with my son on a bright Friday lunchtime. It wasn't that busy. He had a lunch deal, which was £6 for a pizza, chips and a soft drink. He did supplement with a side of fries. I tried the new Ta Ng. You pick your own ingredients for your hot pot, pay by weight and select how hot you'd like it. I tried it hot. I like hot food, but it was very hot! Otherwise it was a very good value meal. Would recommend over the other eateries that we've tried here so far, and one I'd come back for. As a family of 4, came on a very wet and quiet lunchtime between Christmas and New Year. Once we figured out the ordering process, food came but was rather uninspiring. Sadly Nama (Japanese fish place) wasn't open for the lunch service. Probably a better bet for a bustling evening service with a bunch of friends.

We had a fantastic evening in GPO! We tried 4 of the vendors and everything was perfect . The IBe app was easy to use and food and drinks came out quickly. The food hall is ideal for groups, families and couples alike. There's plenty of choice and pricing is very reasonable. Would definitely recommend visiting , make sure you're hungry so you can try all the vendors ! Can't wait to go back . 10/10

A great place that I'll definitely be back to. This was my third visit in the past couple of months, and the first time that I felt was so good that I had to write a review. I started with a chicken taco from Rio Mex that was a perfect was to start - tasty, moreish, warm, and I loved the crunch from the toasted corn. I then had a delicious hot pot from Tang, which was just the right temperature (both in terms of heat and chilli) and was nicely filling. Both of these were perfect for a (very!) windy afternoon in Liverpool. The service was also excellent (I had questions for both kitchens, and both were very nice) and the place had a great vibe. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other kitchens (and some of the other dishes at Rio Mex and Tang) when I'm next in Liverpool!

Nice food, the price is a bit too high... 6.90£ for 2 corn dogs seems excessive. We had a lot of problems, the table that was assigned to me wasn't getting served instead they were bringing my food to the one in front, this happened multiple times and they left our drinks and food at the shop without letting us know I had to go and take them by myself

Hotel
The Shankly Hotel, located just a short walk from Lime Street Station in Liverpool, pays homage to the legendary football manager Bill Shankly. The hotel is adorned with sports memorabilia and features upscale rooms and studios. Its stylish former council house exterior exudes a touch of Manhattan redbrick chic, while the interior boasts an elegant color palette of beige, bronze, and rust-orange. The lobby showcases sepia-toned portraits of Shankly and his famous quotes.
We had our wedding at the Shankly Hotel on the 12th of July, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. From start to finish, the team made sure the day ran smoothly, and we felt completely supported throughout the entire journey. A special mention has to go to Lauren, our incredible wedding coordinator. From the moment we started planning, she was always available to answer any questions and constantly put my mind at ease. No request ever felt too much, and her calm, professional, and friendly nature really helped take the stress out of the planning process. On the morning of the wedding, Claire was there to help with all the final preparations. She was absolutely amazing, keeping everything on track, offering constant reassurance, and going above and beyond to make sure I felt calm and supported. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her that morning and she was a lifesaver! In the evening, Dan took over and continued the same level of outstanding service. He was extremely helpful and ensured that everything ran smoothly right through to the end of the night. Every member of the team played a part in making our big day so special. The venue was stunning, the staff were attentive, and the whole experience was seamless. We can’t thank everyone at the Shankly Hotel enough, we had the most magical day and will treasure the memories forever.

We visited the Shankly recently for my best friends hen party celebrations, a wide range of ages, we booked the Shankly 3 sleeper and an accessible 4 sleeper, we found this a good sized room for a powered wheelchair. We had an absolutely wonderful time. All the staff are absolutely lovely and are so friendly, helpful and attentive, whether that be when booking our accommodation and activities with the events team, helping us decorate the event space we hired and carry items from the car or being served in the restaurant and bar. We enjoyed all the activities and it was great, relaxed and enjoyable for all. Fantastic location, and a fun, relaxed atmosphere and fantastic staff. Thank you!

Excellent customer service and friendly and inviting dining staff. The location is ideal in the heart of the city and a walk away from restaurants, cafes, bars and Liverpool One. The rooms are nice we had a luxury suite and while very clean was a little below what I expected for the price. However, overall would recommend to anyone looking for a central location.

Fantastic place and would highly reccomend. We also got a private minibus that took us straight to the front door of the hotel as there is plenty of drop off space ( Thank you Time Travel Private Hire Liverpool). Awesome weekend, 👌

Had an amazing weekend away with the girls here for a hen weekend! The rooms are great. An extra bathroom would have been great for a larger party some windows in the rooms did not open and air con was only in the top part, however the hotel were fab and brought us a fan!.
Claire W — Google review
Its a great experience everyone sleeping in the same room, great for a girls trip away. But unfortunately the rooms are starting to look a little tired. Great location not far from the station, bars and restaurants.

Really nice hotel, very spacious. The bathrooms were very large with a jacuzzi style bath/shower. Iron and iron board was provided in the room , AC, and a fan was also there for comfort. The beds were very comfortable . Staff were very nice in checking in, which was fast. The rooms were nicely decorated. There was a view of the city from the room also. No complaints at all. There is a terrace area on the 3rd floor(I think ), which we stumbleb upon by mistake, which looked like a very nice area to have a few drinks and relax.overall a very nice stay, thanks
Andy — Google review
Very interesting hotel, that's for sure. The building is fabulous but inside very outdated. It is an acquired taste. My room had 2 double beds and 2 jacuzzi, which is just crazy. We stayed in room 517. Need a bit of work. The window sil is falling apart on the bathroom door. You could see someone did a patch job on the door. Very obvious 🙄 most importantly, the bedroom window doesn't open, so should you need fresh air, you have to put air-conditioning on. We had breakfast which was good, staff very friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The only bad thing I noticed was that there was a lady walking around, which I assumed was a duty manager. Lady, why are you walking around with ear pods in your ears. A manager leads by example .

Nestled along the picturesque docklands of Liverpool, Malmaison Liverpool is a contemporary hotel that exudes elegance and charm. With its polished rooms and suites, guests can indulge in comfort while enjoying stunning views of the River Mersey. The hotel's brasserie offers a delightful culinary experience, featuring an array of bite-sized desserts and classic afternoon tea options that are perfect for any occasion.
Our stay at Malmaison was fantastic! The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, with beautifully stylish decor. The location is perfect—close to everything you need. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we really appreciated that the staff asked about any allergens. The service was excellent throughout. Malmaison is always our favourite, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend to everyone!

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Had a very warm welcome when we arrived. We booked a standard double Room which included breakfast.. Room was very clean, we didnt hear anything or see anybody on our floor(5th) Room was quite dark but that was its style. Bed was comfy and had no issues with the bathroom, we soon worked out how to flush the toilet!! All the staff we spoke too were freindly Breakfast had a lovely choice, nice to have hot food cooked to order and not sitting under a hot lamp with hordes of people getting in the way. Location was really good, short walk to museums and liverpool one. A bit further to Liverpool Lime Street, but the receptionist kindly offered to book us a taxi which turned up on time for our return journey. One tip get some taxi numbers from Reception. Try and avoid getting in a Black Cab we think we were ripped off big time. Thoroughly recommend this hotel. Much better than the experience we had at a well known chain of hotels where we stayed 2 years ago. Would not hesitate to stay at Malmaison again. Also fantastic hotel to stay if going on a cruise ,right oppisite cruise terminal.

The Malmaison was the perfect venue for our wedding in June. Cristina and the team were on top of everything and made things so easy for us to organise, all communication was really quick and everything was just so easy. The day ran so smoothly, from serving of the welcome drinks, food and evening entertainment. The food served by the hotel was also top quality. We organised everything through the hotel including the room decoration & DJ (the DJ they organised was honestly fantastic). We really couldn’t have asked for better. Thank you so much to Cristina & all staff.

Very spacious room, lots of USB charging points within the room. Decor wasn't as nice as it had seemed in photos. Wardrobe was difficult to open and needs some attention. Bathroom lovely with a big bath, powerful wet room style shower. View from the window was a car park and skip. Window blind didn't fully fit so room was light early on. Although on return to our room we could hear a lot of noise from the nearby rooms, once in the room we couldn't hear anything which was great. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was fabulous however unfortunately couldn't say the same for the breakfast. The choice was varied and plenty on offer however I was served the worst poached eggs I've ever seen! The white of the egg was so shrivelled up it was stringy and practically non existent. The yoke somehow seemed inflated and liquid (other than the yolk) came out of it when cutting into it. To top it off they were stone cold which was not a pleasant taste! The rest of the breakfast was warm, just cold eggs. Had we not included breakfast in the price of our stay I would have been very unhappy paying £23 for what I was served. Not sure I'd stay again.

Stayed for a weekend getaway and cannot fault them. Very welcoming atmosphere and the staff very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing in the restaurant. Peaceful waterfront location and quick walk into the centre. Will certainly visit here again.

Just came home from having High tea with mum and two children. One has a peanut allergy and I couldn't thank the staff enough for being all over the allergy and making us feel so comfortable and confident in my little girl ordering off the menu. Service was fabulous and the staff were amazing. Thank you for a lovely day.

This was my first experience of a Malmaison hotel and I will actively look to book with them again. Gorgeous lobby, the room was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Service was great and the breakfast was lovely. My only feedback would be that there weren’t any plug sockets near a mirror in the room, so drying / styling hair was a bit tricky. Overall would absolutely stay here again.
Jennifer A — Google review
Great location but the point of a hotel is sleep. Booked a standard room, offered an upgrade for £66 and took it. The view was lovely but the room was so hot! The bed was also uncomfortable, I think a thin mattress. Told the staff about the heat issue, they provided directions on how to use the a/c control, gave it 24hrs, still didn’t work. No other rooms as they were fully booked. Asked for a fan which was supplied but paid a total of around £500 to not sleep for 3 nights, I left exhausted. Horrendous and will never stay there again (which is saying something because my mum lives in the flats above it). Do NOT recommend.

Asian restaurant
Maggie Fu is a restaurant that specializes in Asian street food, with dishes like their salt and pepper chicken and super-popular pad thai. They've recently opened a twin in Liverpool ONE, making their food even easier to get to.
A very vibrant space with plenty of choices for food and beverages. The staff are friendly and helpful, the service was quick and the food was very nice with plenty of fresh ingredients. We enjoyed the crispy chicken and the vege green curry. Reasonably priced and somewhere I would eat again.
Mark C — Google review
Got there at 5 and was already fairly busy, by the time we were leaving close to 6 all the tables were taken so best to get there early to avoid disappointment. The layout was nice, and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere and decoration. The staff were friendly. There were good food options and the food we ate was very tasty and filling. Would recommend

Very cool place. They serve you in 3 minutes after order. Note, you need to order at the cashier, waiters doesn’t take the orders. But serving is lightning speed. Very quality ramen. Recommend
Jevgenijs V — Google review
The food does taste nice however it was delivered very quickly and the meat was quite dry however you cannot complain for the price and he’s a perfect kind of Chinese thing for a night out, they’ve got the decorations down to a tea and it is a very nice place to be in

The food was amazing. Portions are a little too generous for me, and I couldn't finish mine. The staff are friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend eating at Maggie Fu.

Absolutely delicious! I have the king prawns with ginger and garlic, the plate was full of lovely prawns underneath my photo doesn't do it justice.

I don’t like posting bad reviews but if I can help someone that’s looking for a place to eat and looks into reviews -like me- I simply have to!. First of all, let me start by saying that the service is great, the staff is very welcoming… but the FOOD! absolutely not! I had their somehow famous roasted chicken with rice and it was drier than a Christmas turkey after a month! My sister had chicken ramen and again DONT! Same horrible, dry chicken with a sad boiled egg (extra $)… the broth was ok. We also had their chicken buns and they tasted like old buns…Overall it felt as if everything was reheated…definitely not fresh! - I’m sorry for this review but I cannot recommend this place at all!
