Swimming facility
The Liverpool Aquatics Centre Lifestyle in Wavertree offers state-of-the-art facilities including a 50m and 20m pool. It provides various activities such as public swimming, lane sessions, tri training classes, adult swimming lessons, and women-only swimming times. The center also offers affordable membership deals. Visitors have praised the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the facility. Some have suggested improvements for the changing rooms' temperature control.
The swimming pools are great. 20m & 50m pools. Lockers, changing room & bath areas are all in good condition. Remember to take a 20p coin to use the lockers which you can take back at the end. Large parking area and is free.

Great day out with the muniflex lot! Wonderful fund raiser! Good complex The swimming pool and changing rooms i cannot comment as we did not see But the toilets were clean and tidy Staff were wonderful The 5g astro pitch has too much black rubber added bit hard on the shins!! All in all lovely day out

The staff at the reception was very rude and unprofessional. We went for family day with our children and was very poorly welcomed us. We are both members of the centre but was treated like we were not. As I scanned my card she immediately asked me I need to pay and can’t let you in with two kids and was very rude. She can clearly see two parents with each kids and telling us that we didn’t provide the name of the member but she didn’t ask nor she finished with me first and saying that’s not my member card and discrimination against my name saying if I am Susana well clearly my partner name is not Susana. She said it’s his membership while she was dealing with me. But as I was explaining it was mine she immediately said he needs to pay when he didn’t even got a chance to provide his membership and saying can’t go in with two kids.

The customer service and staff behavior are SHOCKING. It seems they have hired some of the most unfriendly and rude people available. Today, I arrived at the gym as I usually do. The staff rarely acknowledge your presence, even though you must physically scan in to enter the facility. So, I wasn't surprised when no one looked at me as I approached the staff. A gentleman waiting nearby turned to me and said that I could scan in, as he was only there for information. After I scanned in, a member of the staff verbally attacked me, claiming that “she had lost all of her work now because I scanned in.” I apologised, but she continued to berate me, so I left to avoid further escalation. The staff need training in basic customer service skills. If they don't want to be there, they should find another job. Gym and swimming pool users pay to use the facilities, so basic respect from the staff would be appreciated.

Really disappointed with our recent visit to this leisure centre. We checked the website before travelling and it stated that there was pool activity for the whole afternoon. Small pool closing at 1:30 then the other pool would be available. We arrived to be told that the public access is closing at 1:30 due to staff shortages - I have no issue with this but the website wasn't updated otherwise we would have come another day. The receptionist was great and we went in for a quick 30 minutes. 10 minutes in and I went to put my 3 and half year old on my shoulders, wearing a flotation jacket in a 20m shallow pool, Instantly told I couldn't. I've never had this issue at any other pool in Liverpool and indeed in England, the child is still building up courage in the pool and her safety was never at any risk. We then came out to get changed and the "family changing rooms were locked with no staff in sight, my daughter needed the toilet so I took her to the women's section, instantly a staff member appeared from nowhere to move us on and unlocked the changing room for her. This was all in under 30 minutes. Didn't feel welcoming, accessible or informative unless it was to deliver negative communication. We won't be attending in future and will stick to the garston baths and others.

One of my friend and me both of us coming to this centre gym almost 3 weeks now, and there was not any problem and everyday the checked our card for entry of the gym. Today when checking our entry card a lady named (Louies) didn't let my friend in the gym and said that this entry card of yours is from another branch. If so, why didn't anyone notice this in the 3 weeks my friend was coming and only today did they notice? I don't understand what kind of service they are providing and they were very rude. And when I asked her about it she told us that she doesn't want to argue. It's not fair at all when you can't tell in 3 weeks that this card doesn't belong to this branch. So instead of being stupid, you should apologize. We pay there and we want you to be nice and polite, not to be your fault and be disrespectful and waste our time.

Where do I start. NO management. Staff hopeless. Supposedly open 06.30.. nobody there and eventually at 07.35 told No staff...Shower today literally as cold as tap water. Closed or no Staff early in the morning. NO website Information in these cases. Closes ad-hoc. Lifeguard berated people of colour. Got my Mother in law stuck in the entrance barrier as staff were too busy talking... NOBODY looks at these reviews.. an utter joke.....🤦‍♂️
Paul A — Google review
Maintenance is poor. Machines are broken for weeks. There are modern equipment with an alright variety, altough the gym isn't really that big so you will have to wait a while to use equipment on crowded days. I didn't have much problem with the staff like the other commenters mentioned but some are rude. The fact that it closes at 16:00 on weekends though is a joke.

The gym also provides the option of booking through ClassPass, offering good value for a 2-hour gym and swim session. The facility is not overly crowded, with many visitors using the gym before enjoying the sauna. Additionally, there's a Costa Coffee on-site that only accepts card payments.
Really good gym, excellent deals going on till the end of the year which makes it very affordable, swimming pool & sauna included. Alisson, Jemma & Emma were extremely helpful with dealing with out queries and so nice. Would recommend ☺️

This gym is super friendly , the classes are very good and great variety. I've tried most things that have taken my attention and been happy. The pool is lovely, the changing rooms, showers, toilet are spotless. The only time I have seen the sauna and steam closed have been when the team are doing a deep clean. There are no folk taking pics or posing about. Everyone is very friendly and respectful of each other.

Smashing gym. I’ve been a member for a number of years now and have always found the staff excellent especially the receptionist, big shout out to Gill who is always pleasant and welcoming with a big smile and cheerful hello. The changing area and toilets are always clean and well maintained. The personal trainer Steph who works with us is fabulous . I have also made use of the on site physiotherapist again excellent, at the end of a work out it’s nice to relax in the cafe and enjoy a bite to eat and a coffee. which I suppose explains why I have been a member for so long.

Gemma was an excellent receptionist greeting me with my renewed membership this evening. I really appreciated her polite & welcoming manner. I'm looking forward to getting back to fitness again.
Emma A — Google review
This gym has potential, but there are several ongoing issues that need real attention. First, while the location and amenities (like the pool) are appreciated — especially since there aren’t many alternatives nearby — the maintenance and responsiveness to feedback leave much to be desired. The gym recently started redoing the floors, which was a much-needed update. However, they left out one of the most critical areas — the workout zone to the right of the cardio machines. The flooring there remains uneven to the point where it feels like a safety hazard. It’s disappointing to see a renovation started but not properly completed. Another consistent issue is the cleanliness and maintenance of the steam room and sauna. These spaces are frequently dirty and often out of service to all members. Many members have raised concerns, but it doesn’t seem like any concrete action has been taken. It’s not enough to keep them open — they need to be regularly cleaned, maintained, and made safe for use. It often feels like the gym is relying on “vibes” rather than putting real systems in place to improve member experience and address known problems. There’s a lot to like here, and members want to support this gym — but that support needs to be met with follow-through and accountability.

I waited a long time before finally booking swimming lessons, and I’m so glad I chose Nuffield Health Liverpool. I honestly didn’t expect to make so much progress, but after just 7 lessons with Heather, my swimming ability and confidence have improved massively. Heather is an outstanding instructor — patient, encouraging, and really good at explaining things in a way that makes sense. She tailored each lesson to my level and helped me feel comfortable in the water from the start. If you’re thinking about swimming lessons, I highly recommend Heather. She’s made a real difference, and I’m so thankful for her support!

Really friendly gym. Welcoming to all. The staff are always in hand to help and make exercise fun. It’s my place to relax as well as keep fit. The pool is lovely especially when the sun is shining outside

I cannot recommend Nuffield Health enough! In particular my experience with physiotherapist, Despoina Pantazi, was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable, understanding and great at giving in depth but simple explanations. She was very approachable and had the ability to make me feel comfortable in a short amount of time. Even after our sessions had come to an end, she offered herself out for any advice in the future. Excellent service and will be sure to recommend to anyone in need of physio. I can’t thank you enough Despoina!

Spa experience with treatment. Firstly Jane my masseuse is absolutely unreal her skills are second to none! Best back neck and shoulder ever. Steam room was nice and hot, to my liking. Jacuzzi and pool are nice enough too. All facilities were nice and clean, staff all very pleasant. Only minor gripes would be that the lockers are temperamental and the cold water and kettle in the waiting room needed refilling. Changing rooms are a little cramped too if more than 4 people are in at a time. Jane's massage keeps it 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Sam W — Google review
This spa was a total waste of time we was literally in the for half an hour there was a steam room with no steam init and a sauna that was literally like a warm day on holiday, they refused to turn it up with there cop out being for health and safety reasons, saunas are ment to be hot that’s the whole point of them. In concern to health and me working in the health industry I know that the health benefits of a sauna start at 80 to 120c it’s just a total cop out so they don’t have to pay the electric bill. We literally had nothing to do in there but use the pools very stressed. Iv had to leave early and now I’m on the way to my local gym where I pay £6 entry and the saunas and steam rooms are turned fully up to get the health benifits. Will definitely not go again wasted my money and time.
Luke B — Google review
Spa facilities 7/10. Would have scored higher but it's quite small therefore gets busy with a small amount of people. Service: 6/10. We were called up on the morning of our booking to advise a staff member phoned in sick therefore our booking would be moved to a later time or another day. This caused huge inconvenience as we had to cancel our dinner booking to accommodate the new massage time. An apology was offered but it felt insincere. A small offer of an extra glass of fizz or anything similar as a goodwill gesture would have been nice but nothing was considered / offered. When we arrived we were offered to be served our glass of fizz by the pool (this was included in our package). After 20/30mins we had to leave the pool and go back upstairs twice to request said glass of fizz. Not ideal when you're trying to relax and recharge the batteries! Massage treatment 9/10. Very relaxing massage. Could not fault it. We understand staff phoning in sick is beyond the control of the business but overall the way that the situation was handled was a bit of a let down and could have could have been defused with some small gestures and a bit of empathy for our situation.
Mark O — Google review
Our massages were fantastic but this should not be called a spa. This is more like a YMCA facility. The pool area is really gross and really creepy. They offer zero extras like a actual spa: no combs, shower caps, extra towels/face clothes, hair ties in the locker room. Every corner of the showers are covered in black mold. The massages were beyond amazing, and Joanna at the front desk was probably loveliest person in the entire of Liverpool! Convenient if you are staying at the hotel, but don't waste your money... there are so many other options
Sarabeth A — Google review
Stayed the night and had a spa day here for a girls night with my friend. I absolutely love The Eforea Spa, such a relaxing spa, fabulous facilities and the staff are all lovely and down to earth, that's so important. Special thank you to Joanna who made us feel so welcome. Hotel was amazing, comfy bed, big spacious hotel room, very impressed with the quality of the food! I was so impressed and the breakfast variety in the morning was brilliant, many different options especially as I live a low sugar diet. All around amazing stay and spa! Looking forward to coming back very soon!
EM C — Google review
This spa is fantastic I use it 2-3 times a week the lady’s at the spa are always polite, happy and always welcoming the day pass option is fantastic and offers a great range of facilities for a small price of just £25. The only downside to it is they don’t offer memberships but I suppose that’s protecting the facility from ever being over crowded.
Josh J — Google review
Really relaxing atmousphere with friendly staff and good facilities. Good selection of treatments and packages at competative plices. Only negative ir the jacuzi is not very worm.
Danielle T — Google review
Not a good experience today, I love swimming and the pool stairs were broken. I am tall and was asked to creep in below the balcony and struggled. The foot massage and back massages were rushed considering they were standing around after. I would not visit the spa again.

It was my worst experience ever . There is no changing room , I changed my clothes in the toilet. The cabinets’ locks do not work , if you lose your mobile, clothes or money , the management is not responsible , so at least they need to fix the locks that let me bring my staff into the swimming pool . The swimming pool is too small and the Jackozi was not working , even the sauna and steam room were full , you need to wait for along time to get there . I stayed less than 30 mins and what made things worse was the shower which is too cold and you need to keep pressing the tap while showering and the hair dryer was a nightmare , it was broken and so dangerous to use , I cannot understand how they keep it , if a drop of water comes though , it could result burns or death.
Alaa S — Google review
I can't speak for the gym, as I only went for the swimming pool. Cramped, tiny communal changing room (so beware if you're shy or body conscious) with just two small benches between 5 people when I went. Physically impossible, of course, so I had to change standing in the corner. Only a third of the locks on the lockers actually work. Spent 10 minutes trying to find one that did. As for the pool, the water was almost cold, and full of hairs. Pretty disgusting, all told. The only decent thing was the steam room, which was genuinely relaxing. And you're gonna need it after the anxiety-inducing rest of the place. A bit of a sh*ithole.
Scarred L — Google review
The gym is small but decent. A little expensive considering how small it actually is. I also wish they cleaned the pool propery. I found a bunch of hair in the pool 🤢😷

"A Case History" by John King is a historical site in Woolton, Liverpool, dating back to the 1890s. It was established by Holbrook Gaskell JP, a local philanthropist and chemical manufacturer, with the aim of providing sanitary facilities for the working class. The Roscoe Head pub, which has been open since the 1830s, offers a unique experience with its traditional setting and absence of modern entertainment.
What an interesting piece of art, that’s in keeping with its surroundings. There are plaques on the cases from a variety of influential people from Liverpool’s rich history and it’s such an unusual piece to look around and take in.
Christopher L — Google review
A lovely piece of public art that has been in Liverpool since before I was born, located outside of LIPA the art work ties into Liverpool’s role in the English Music Scene, there’s a small display board located near by that provides more information including its relation to Paul McCartney and other famous artists!
Alex W — Google review
A Case History” by John King is a well-known public art installation located on Hope Street in Liverpool, England. It’s a sculpture made up of a pile of suitcases, each one crafted from stone and bearing the names of famous people associated with Liverpool. Key facts about A Case History: • Artist: John King • Date: Installed in 1998 • Location: Outside the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), at the bottom of Mount Street near Hope Street • Medium: Cast concrete or stone sculptures • Subject: A pile of realistic-looking suitcases and travel bags Symbolism: The suitcases represent: • Travel, migration, and movement – all deeply connected to Liverpool’s maritime and cultural history. • Each suitcase is engraved with a name, such as: • John Lennon • Paul McCartney • Cilla Black • William Roscoe • And others, including artists, educators, and performers linked to Liverpool.
Yarys — Google review
This public art work by John King is located on Hope St, next to LIPA (Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts). Featured concrete casts of suitcases and guitar cases belonging to Liverpool’s famous residents such as artists, architects, conductors and of course the Beatles.
May L — Google review
A curious place to visit, especially for the meaning it has and that can be seen on the way between one cathedral and another.
Silvestre C — Google review
A fun art installation paying tribute to people associated with Liverpool in one way or another.

Interesting sculpture worth a look. Fun to read all of the tags on the different cases, including one for Sir Paul McCartney's guitar. A little outside the center of town, but a very easy walk from the Cathedral.

We had the most wonderful stay at Suits Hotel and Spa! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff who made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. The spa experience was amazing – the water temperature was absolutely lovely, and the massage quality exceeded our expectations. We both left our sessions feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. Our room was a great size, very clean, and comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We also took advantage of the tanning room, which was a great touch, and added to the overall pampering vibe. The only thing that was missing was a little garden escape or a table between the trees that would have completed the stay. We would definitely recommend Suits Hotel and Spa to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway – we sure will be back!
Anastasiia C — Google review
Booked a spa day here as a birthday gift. When we arrived, the welcome wasn’t the happiest. There’s no atmosphere, no music and the lady on the desk was probably tired. We were later shown the amenities and had everything explained to us. The robes, towels and slippers were a nice gesture. The foot spa wasn’t working so that was disappointing. The images online make it look a lot nicer than it is. We were also sold a glass of Prosecco but never got one. The relaxation room was great! They have a sauna, steam room and ice room which we enjoyed. We both had a back massage and that was really enjoyable. The changing room facilities are a little dated: the bottom of the shower is yellow, the shower head is falling off & the shower gel had ran out. Just needed some TLC. They have hair dryers and straighteners which was a good touch. Overall, nice day but wouldn’t rush back

One star experience in the British countryside. No fridge no mini bar no welcome mineral water (tap water destroyed me) no phone service in the room. Extremely slow WiFi. Spamming on my email after entering the WiFi, by unknown senders. No room service whn asked. Bad food (overcooked burger). Showers need a manual to operate. Old furniture and damaged window. At least it was clean and bed was good. One star for this.

The staff were friendly, helpful, accommodating and professional. The suite was beyond my expectations and excellent value for money especially with my discount. Breakfast was fresh, hot, plentiful, with multiple options to choose from. The Spa, pool and gym were easily accessible and of a high standard. The area is a little off-putting but the hotel has easy access to major motorways and the venue itself outshines the surrounding industrial buildings.

Great location and less than a 20-minute drive to Anfield Stadium. The room was spacious and the air conditioning worked perfectly during one of the hottest weeks of the summer. Although we encountered a minor issue with a blocked toilet in our room upon arrival, the reception staff resolved it quickly. Overall, a pleasant stay. We would definitely come back.

INCREDIBLE VALUE🤑🤑🤑 Loved my stay here, the pool, sauna, and steam rooms made my stay feel like a 5 star spa weekend for an absolutely amazing price. I genuinely could not believe the size of my room for what I paid. Staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel made my visit to Liverpool stress free and a great experience.

Stayed here for 3 nights really can't fault it. The rooms are huge, The facilities are brilliant, the food is also brilliant but above all the staff are just the best. Will definitely be staying here again

Very disappointing. Have stayed at Suites many times over the last 20 years but it has gone down hill. The sink tap sprayed sideways making it very difficult to brush teeth and wash hands. The shower head temperature was difficult to set and the spray only improved after my wife cleaned it - I'd have thought that was the hotel's job, not ours. The breakfast choice was poor. Very limited healthy options. Asked for a discount as not happy. Was told it could not be authorised without the manager so had to pay the full amount. They took my phone number but the manager never called. We're now 10 days later! Will not stay there again.

Adam and Eve Turkish Bath offers a unique spa experience with its traditional Turkish bath, known as Hammam. This deep cleansing and exfoliating treatment uses natural products to detoxify the body, relieve stress, and leave you feeling refreshed. The warm ambiance ensures a relaxing experience for all customers. Visitors to Turkey often prioritize experiencing a Turkish bath due to its skin-cleansing and stress-relieving benefits.
From the moment I walked in, I felt wrapped in calm and care. The ambience was soothing, with soft lighting, gentle music, and the subtle aroma of essential oils setting the perfect relaxing mood. Lily and her staffs are incredibly welcoming and professional, making me feel valued and at ease. I enjoyed a full-body massage and a facial, and both were absolute perfection. The therapist was attentive to my comfort and tailored the experience to my needs. Every detail—from the heated bed to the calming tea afterwards—was thoughtfully planned to enhance the experience. I left feeling completely refreshed, both body and mind. It was exactly the escape I needed, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and be pampered! Thank you xxx

DO NOT book- Been a regular customer for a good few years, turned up to our appointment, the place is shut all shutter closed, waiting for 20 mins outside no sign of anyone, discusting and they take a deposit , so are litrally taking your money for no service. Shame as this was a great place , read in other reviews that no-one is happy and old owner go e back to Turkey.

I’ve been told about this place for a few years ago now and payed them a visited. Wow! Why go to Turkey when you’ve got it even better on Smithdown Road. Absolutely 11/10. I can’t praise this place enough for the hospitality, professionalism and kindness. I’ve had quite a few massages over the years from Boxing and I can honestly say this place blows every other one out the water. Dawn you were amazing and so professional in your trade. Definitely recommend this place and I’ll be returning very very soon. Thank you

Just got back from a treatment here and honestly wish I’d asked for my money back. The only bit which didn’t feel rushed was when they left us sat in the sauna for 25-30 minutes. Everything else felt rushed and we couldn’t relax. The full body massage must have lasted 20mins tops and they forgot we had booked a scalp massage. They come back in to give us a scalp massage which lasted about 3 minutes. Honestly don’t waste your time and money, terrible experience.

We went to celebrate our special day without knowing what horror is waiting for us. The owners left to Turkey with place to people who didn't had a damn idea what massage is and neither really cared about us a customers. They massaged us with a polythene gloves which felt horrible to skin and was a traumatic experience feeling deceived and cheated. Our one hour massage finished in 25 minutes and when we pleaded we got some of our money back. But such cheat was unbelievable in the name of spa and massage. It was extremely disturbing experience that it took few to come out of the trauma of ruining the special day and getting harrased physically in the name of massage. Hope they never do it to anyone again 🙏🏼

I’ve had a lot of experience at this place and has always been good but today was so disappointing. Felt rushed at every stage, the sauna, the hammam and the massage. The hammam wasn’t thorough and parts of the body were missed, the massage wasn’t really a massage as it felt more like just oil spreading rather than a massage. it felt like there was no effort at all to anything. I have been a massage therapist for over 16 years and this has to be the worst experience I have had. I’m quite sad really as this was always a good little treat for my husband and I to enjoy together but I do t think we will be going back.
Sharon P — Google review
The place is old and neglected, with mould visible everywhere. The sauna creaks, the fans are filthy and falling apart, and the towels and covers smell musty as they haven’t been dried properly. The changing rooms look dreadful. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Highly recommend Michael for anyone looking to get familiar with the gym or need guidance on their fitness journey!

Really dirty changing facilities. There's mold on ceiling tiles, There's a disgusting toilet brush in the gents that's not been cleaned or touched in over two months - it's actually had a can in for that time. I've never seen anyone clean the place. It needs to be fumigated. I had to complain last year over the family changing facilities - the vinyl floor had started to come away from the drain and there was live activity under it. The staff walk poolside in their trainers then sit down after walking through to put overshoes on. There's no common sense at all! Needs a keen eye for hygiene in the place. I'm contracted to £50 per month for the privilege. Photo's to follow....

Been using the pool and other facilities for around two years now. Overall, a decent place. Pool is spacious enough and always clean. Steam room and sauna absolutely fine, hydro-therapy pool is decent (when you can get in as its always busy). The changing area and general infrastructure just needs a make over. We used to regularly see people cleaning the changing rooms, now you rarely do.

A special mention to Carolyn who has really been really supportive and helpful, and who is a credit to Village Gym Liverpool. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering joining, good value for money. Thanks all!

I’ve been with the gym for 10 years, Carolyn has been amazing she’s helped me get back into training after having my daughter and is always friendly and helpful. She was great throughout the lockdown breaks making sure to inform me when the gym was open and how to go about booking classes and she’s always encouraging and supportive. She was great with my elderly mum when she joined the gym too, helping her figure out the booking system and guiding her through the class rota. If you’re thinking of joining you should ask for her.

I have been a member of the Village Gym (Liverpool) since 2019, although the building is a little dated and tired the staff are always friendly and pleasant. Aime and the team always ensure that all members have the best possible experience. I was bought a Restore package for my birthday. The 50 Minute treatment I received was Bliss. The staff were very professional. The place is beautiful there is a beautiful relaxation room where I lounged on a sofa I literally sunk into. I had lunch as part of my package. The bistro was clean and modern and I was waited on by a lovely friendly lady. The food is tasty - a mini cream tea consisting of sandwiches and a cream scone. I had a blissful afternoon and it was such good value. I will definitely be booking again.

Wonderful morning at The Chill Out Spa. Had a head, shoulder, and back massage, as well as an Indian head massage. One of the best massages I've ever experienced, very relaxing and the pressure was just right. Felt really refreshed and energised afterward. Also used the indoor hot tub which was amazing! Even managed to make use of the luxury shower gels and shampoo after my massage. Also great to have a hairdryer and straighteners in the changing room to use. Will definitely be returning!

An absolutely amazing experience from the staff being so friendly and helpful to the jacuzzi and then onto the treatments where they are so so good and relaxing. And to finish the day off with some amazing food from the bistro in the spa. I could not recommend this place enough. We will definitely be re-booking. We had a lovely experience at the Chill Out Spa. The welcome from Julie and tour made us feel very comfortable. Our massage, facial and manicure were excellent. We were concerned about safety in the jacuzzi as there was no rail to hold on to as we got down into the jacuzzi and we were frightened of slipping especially as the room was so dark. We sat on the edge and lowered ourselves in and crawled out to be safe. Slipping in our seventies would mean breakages that would take a long time to heal. This concern would put us off coming again and that is sad as it is such a lovely relaxing place.

First time here and the whole experience was amazing from start to finish. Jo welcomed us and showed us where everything was and then set us up in the outdoor hot tub. Julie in the Bistro did a lovely, well presented tapas plate and then Ellie and Zoe did our massages, which were brilliant. Thank you all for a fantastic, relaxing afternoon.

Gym is spot on. Classes good. Icebath needs more attention. 50% of the time Ive been signed up it’s been out of use which Ive never experienced with any other Gym with an Icebath. Frustrating as thats a big part of my recovery and well being. Also, pool could be a lot cooler to train and swim in. A few members in the changing room/sauna agree. Few degrees makes a huge difference
Lewis M — Google review
I'd give zero stars if I could. Don't bother if you are a racquet sports player. After having been a member for decades, just to use their court facilities, 3 courts were nabbed to make place for other classes. Disgraceful behaviour by management that pays less than no attention to a group of people who regularly attended to play a sport they love. I now have to find an alternative club, although it will be easy to find a more accommodating facility. Get lost Village Wirral. I hope you feel the financial sting of members leaving in droves
Andrius R — Google review
Only really use the pool so please don't take my review as the gym which looks like they have everything you can think off. The pool is only one lane when ever I have been there is a circular route you should take but people will cut across you unknowing which is a bit of a put off when your in ya stride can feel a bit of sardine if it's busy
Chris E — Google review
ladies changing area is so dirty ans sticky (you must bring your slippers) there are little bugs everywhere. The door of the steam room specially the lower third is very dirty. It seemed some one throw up in the shower and no one bothered to clean( at least for the one hour I was there) the worst trap is that if you become a member there is no way to cancel or freeze your account. Members are frustrated. I have plenty evidence of my claims. Just avoid for the sake of your health and money

The pool is designed for babies and young children, with small groups and structured lessons that focus on different swimming techniques. Additionally, the facility provides a clean and welcoming environment with convenient amenities such as baby changing cubicles.
Amazing place where to book your kids swimming lessons. Instructors are very friendly, small groups of learners. Pool is not too deep, so little ones feel comfortable and not scared to swim. Lessons are structured so kids learn different swimming techniques. Have attended their community events and they don't disappoint. Kids always have fun and come out smiling.

tl;dr - No automatic refunds even if THEY cancel the classes! Ridiculous cancellation policy. I had my two kids signed up for two classes on Friday mornings. Two consecutive Fridays, they texted the night before or the morning of to cancel the classes. I had to fight tooth and nail to get my refunds, escalating my requests to managers! It took weeks. I ended up cancelling the memberships because of it. In addition, their cancellation policy is that you have to cancel 4 weeks in advance. I thought that was reasonable until I found out the 4 weeks is in advance of the next monthly direct debit. So we paid for 6 weeks of classes my kids didn't go to. I know two other mums who've had frustrating times dealing with Swim!'s cancellation policies. We've had a better time at Water Babies. Water babies credits your account if they cancel classes.

My 2yo daughter has been taught by Erin since she was 3 months old and we love it. Erin is so professional, passionate and builds great relationships with the kids. I’ve also started taking my son (6months) for lessons with Morgan, who is also brilliant. Both teachers squeeze lots of activities into 30mins and explain why each exercise is important, so you as the parent/buddy are learning too. The place itself is basically purpose built for taking babies/young children and it’s generally really clean.
Emily W — Google review
This place is specifically for swim! so it is designed for kids, there's space even when it can get busy, changing rooms and toilets comfortable, hair dryers available. The best part though is the staff, I had never seen such passionate and patient instructors and staff, it is amazing to see how your little one can progress while enjoy swimming. I don't think without people like Zoey and Sara R, my boy's instructor, and the rest of the staff, we'd get where we are with him, going from crying and not wanting to go into the swimming pool without mummy to enjoying and smiling during the class with Sara R. Definitely recommend and I do tell all my friends about it, the service is outstanding. Thank you Swim! staff :)

My Legal Club Limited is a company that offers a range of legal services, including conveyancing and personal injury claims. They have received positive feedback for their exceptional service and expertise in various legal matters. Clients have praised the team for their support and guidance throughout the process, making difficult situations easier to navigate. The company is known for providing cost-effective solutions and impartial support, ensuring that everything progresses smoothly.
There still are great people and businesses in this world after all! Found this place on google, sent them an email but to be honest I didn't expect to hear back as I've emailed many other places with my legal issue and no one bothers to reply. But they did! Unfortunately their expertise are in different fields but what I loved was that they didn't just ignore me because they couldn't help me... they took the time and decency to reply and not only that, offer me SO MUCH advice on steps I could take with relevant links for me to click on, and also offered reputable companies I could also seek help from. The email was definitely not brief, so you can see they took the time and effort to get all this information for me. If they know this much about the field my issue falls under, I can only imagine the level of expertise in the fields they actually work under. I was just amazed by this level of humanity as I thought it was dead and gone in this world. Thank you so much, and you have helped me make so much progress with my case. I wish you all the success in the future.

Sean and My Legal Club were great and made a difficult flat sale a bit easier. Sean was great from the start as he guided us through our first property sale. Historical landmark
If you're planning a trip to Liverpool, the Queensway Tunnel is an essential landmark worth knowing about. This impressive engineering feat stretches 3.24 kilometers beneath the River Mersey and features four lanes for traffic—two in each direction. While it does require a toll for use, many locals appreciate its convenience as a route across the river, despite some preferring alternative tunnels due to their higher speed limits and different lane configurations.
Locally known as the old tunnel, or the Birkenhead tunnel, people get confused between the 2 , people tend to prefer the other tunnel because of its higher speed limit and different lane set up , this tunnel has many twists in it with oncoming traffic which a lot of people don't like , it's a very convenient way to cross the mersey, ( it will never be free )
Keith B — Google review
You can legally ride through this tunnel under the river every night for next few months with a police escort and no traffic, use the phone at entrance at birkenhead or liverpool end after,21.00 hrs only and its FREE, reason being its having new lights installed

Sat in queue, supposed to open 6.30am but it's now 6.40 and they haven't removed the cones - no way to find out what's going on! VERY frustrating!

Nestled at the intersection of Allerton Road and Quarry Street South, the Woolton Baths stand as a testament to architectural elegance from 1891-93, crafted by the talented duo Horton & Bridgford from Manchester. This single-storey structure showcases a stunning Baroque Revival style, featuring pressed red brick complemented by striking red sandstone and terracotta accents. The entrance block made of red sandstone adds an inviting touch, while the slate roof crowns this historical gem beautifully.
