Highcliffe Castle, a Gothic revival mansion built in the 1830s, showcases restored exteriors and offers visitors a tearoom and gardens to explore. The Grade listed cliff top mansion is an excellent example of Romantic and Picturesque architecture from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Despite its relatively young age, the castle's medieval French masonry gives it an older appearance, complemented by its Gothic revival features and ancient stained glass.
Very beautiful, big and detailed castle. Very similar to a museum but just about the castle. Was very fascinating and the volunteers were lovely. They knew what they were talking about and were so welcoming. Went to get a carer and disabled ticket due to 1 member of our party having autism and surprisingly no questions for proof were asked. They understood that not all disabilities are visible and we really appreciated this. Many rooms were interactive too which was amazing and made it more engaging. We were able to trace drawings, try on clothes they would have worn back in the day, make puzzles, look through kaleidoscopes and more! Perfect for all ages. Took lovely pictures too. Thank you for a lovely time.

Highcliffe was brilliant, what a fantastic place to go! Every bit of it took my breath away, I couldn’t stop saying wow look at that. The zig zag to the beach was easy for anyone to use, the beach was amazing. When I went it was hot and sunny. No benches to sit on only big rocks or the beach. Can’t wait to go again and walk to the light house!!!
Matt B — Google review
Got in at 1.15pm, and inside of castle tour was at 1.30pm. For only £3 extra was able to go into rooms not available to the public normally and get a really good storytelling volunteer guide named Sue. Very interesting and engaging. Exploring after that the grounds and eating cake were a plus. Love how its dog friendly for the cafe and their selection of food. Quite a historic place, very happy to have randomly found it on the map and making a detour.
Morgan B — Google review
Highcliffe Castle was built between 1831 and 1836 by Lord Stuart de Rothesay. Vast quantities of medieval French masonry was shipped across the channel and used in its construction, making it appear older than it actually is. Kings, Queens and the rich and famous have all stayed here over the years. The castle interior was destroyed by fire in the 60s but grants from Heritage and Lottery funding have been used in its restoration. It's a truly beautiful building with so much history! There's a lovely walk down to Highcliffe Beach as well.
Chris K — Google review
Highcliffe Castle is a beautifully restored building located just back from the seafront on the Dorset Coast. Well worth a visit. Plenty of open space for children and dogs to run about. There are tours inside the house if you wish to pay for a ticket and explore the rooms. There is a lovely café/restaurant on site with outdoor and indoor seating. Very clean well maintained toilets too. I should imagine it can get very busy at peak times, although there is a good amount of parking space. A short walk to the nearby beach is available. Usually very quiet, and dog friendly as it is away from nearby Mudeford and Christchurch.
Rob C — Google review
Looks magnificent on the outside but a bit disappointing on the inside in my opinion. Has been restored post 2 fires in the 60's but not quite back to its former glory, I don't mind the brick wall etc.but the modern style staircase just doesn't suit the style.
Valerie H — Google review
Amazing! Before you start your journey you can watch a very short informational video. Only issue I had was there was no reset for the video. Very friendly and helpful staff!
Lyndsey A — Google review
Really impressive castle right next to the beach. I didn’t have the opportunity to go inside but it is free to walk all around the castle. You can have a lovely walk around the garden and access the cafe + castle shop at the rear of the castle. The castle is in walking distance of the beach where you can either take the stairs or an accessible route - the “zig-zag path” which is really convenient if you don’t want to tire yourself out by taking the stairs! There is parking on site.

Britford Farm Shop is a charming spot located to the south of town, offering a farm shop and restaurant. Bird & Carter, situated to the north of town, provides vegetable boxes, meats, delicatessen items, store cupboard essentials, and pre-prepared meals. The tea room at Britford Farm Shop is popular but doesn't open on weekends. While it offers delicious food for adult palates, some visitors feel that there should be more simple options for kids.
Really nice place to go for a bite. Enjoyed the pâté. Quiche also top-notch! Closes quite early.
Das C — Google review
Popped in for a coffee. It was very expensive and never felt so unwelcome as a paying customer! I left feeling like a huge inconvenience! £7.50 for a homemade biscuit and coffee!
Matt B — Google review
Today I went to Britford Farm Shop as I was hoping to be able to buy some fresh local products. I must admit I was quite disappointed when I entered the “shop” I expected to find a proper farm shop, but it is definitely just a Tea Room and as such it is very nice. So if you are after a place to stop for something to eat, or some coffee and cake, this is probable a very nice stop, but if you are after a farm shop this is definitely not the place to visit. There is a selection of jams, chutneys, some chocolate and a small selection of cheese but not the usual selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs etc you would expect to find in a Farm Shop.
M T — Google review
Lovely cafe very good menu and a lot of local produce. Highly recommended cafe.
Paul P — Google review
Stunning teas & lovely little shop full with top quality goods!
Billy W — Google review
It's a nice little tea room and was quite busy. Doesn't open weekends, which I find a bit odd. The food was nice, but it is a cafe for adult tastes. It doesn't really do simple food for kids' tastes. They were helpful about this and made suggestions and were accommodating, but life would be a little easier if they just put a sausage roll, basic ham, or cheese sandwich on the menu. This was something the staff seemed aware of, so I don't think I'm the only parent who's had this problem. Farm shop doesn't exist.
Critter S — Google review
Lovely atmosphere and tasty food! I had to order ahead as I was on a work lunch break so short on time. They didn’t seem ideally setup for this, but to be fair food didn’t take long at all after we arrived. Food was amazing quality and freshly made (only gripe was my pie was a tad small). When we ordered pudding we were told we’d have a long wait as there were customers waiting before us, even though all it took was to put a slice of cake on a plate and let us walk out with it.. Some wasps in the orchard, but not much that can be done about that. Told they don’t do cooked breakfast which feels like a missed opportunity (they don’t open till 10:30am and it’s not a working farm anymore apparently). Got told off when bringing my tray back (trying to be helpful), as apparently you take it round the side; appreciation for the effort and a gentle suggestion would have been nice. Generally a lovely visit and took advantage of the eat out to help our so got it half price, therefore can’t complain too much. Some tweaks to allow online table booking and food ordering, and instant handing out of simple desserts (with slightly more gracious attitudes from staff), and it would be 5 stars!

Positive and upbeat staff, food worth every penny and then some. A really enjoyable café for a really tasty spot of lunch!

Nestled just outside Ringwood, the Crow Farm Shop is a delightful destination for those seeking an authentic farm-to-table experience in Hampshire. This charming shop prides itself on offering a wide selection of fresh, high-quality meats sourced from animals raised right on the farm. In addition to their exceptional butchery, visitors can explore an array of local fruits and vegetables, as well as dairy products that showcase the best of UK farming.
Absolute cracker of a perfect bronze turkey; collected with ease early on 23rd with no queue. This is by far the best bird we’ve ever had, very breasty & bountiful!! Will order again next year 100%, thanks guys!

My husband has shopped here since 2020 for pork pies every time we come to the New Forest. Today he asked me to get them for him. I spied vegetarian scotch eggs, homemade coleslaw and potato salad, so I purchased these too. I've just eaten the best salad ever! I usually make my own salads but these were better than I've made and I didn't spend hours chopping and mixing. The scotch egg has an oozing yolk and was amazing. Definitely going to stock up again before we head home.
Deborah S — Google review
Really good selection of meats, fresh veg, cakes and local beers. They also have a few hard to find imported bits such as RJs. The shop is a decent size and in two sections, the staff we spoke to were very friendly and happy to talk to locals/visitors to the area as equal, also giving good advice on the area. Very friendly atmosphere with a laid back approach. Pricing of the products is about right for a traditional local farm shop, usually low reviews moan about pricing on these sort of places but the quality and freshness of the local produce really is worth the extra and the money goes straight back into local people and the hard work they put in to get this food in. Compared to my local farm shops on the IOW I would say this is really up there with the best ones I've used, worth a visit and treat yourself to something local!
Anthony B — Google review
A lovely range of quality food with a separate meat counter, high quality fresh vegetables, and some great cooked produce. There's now seating out back for a coffee and something to eat.
Joseph ( — Google review
Couldn’t even get a loaf of bread. Rude staff. The layout of the shop is very poor, doesn’t allow customers to have a look round without staff asking you to move. And £4.50 for a small sausage roll is an absolute joke. Talk about ripping people off. Definitely not recommended.
Patrick K — Google review
We moved down to the new forest last year, we found Crow Farm Shop very early in to our New Forest adventure , we’ve been shopping here weekly since , butchers is fantastic lovely meat , the staff couldn’t be more helpful. The deli part where you can get salads and pies is also tremendous. I’m so happy we found Crow Farm Shop. Thanks Al and all the team !

We didn't use the coffee shop but it looked lovely with a great selection of treats to choose from, we are looking foward to going back.

We went into town on Tuesday and wow, it was busy, so nice to see. The shops were full and everyone looked happy and relaxed. Salisbury is a good place to shop. 👌

Been this mall couple of times and found it very charming with nice cafes, branded shops, local businesses all under one roof. A big car park next to it which make it more convenient for shopping. In simple words "nice town, nice people & nice mall"

Have not visited Salisbury since Litvinenco was poisoned 🤣 Daughter wanted to go to Lakeland and this was the closest shop. What a little gem of a city centre, has all you need plus some nice boutiques, ample parking in various sites. Add in a bit of history and the beautiful Cathedral and you've got all the makings of a nice chilled shopping trip/day out. Will definitely return.
Katherine S — Google review
A few nice stores, lots of eateries, and some regular shops. Garage parking available. Lots of stores were already closed by 4pm. Nice pedestrian walkway, but I wouldn't go to Salisbury just for the mall.
Robyn J — Google review
The mall houses big brands such as M&S, H&M, Costa and WH Smith. It is close to the Salisbury City Centre and has loads of parking on site and around. It is also close to the High Street with lots of bus stops around for easy access to other locations in the City. The Salisbury train station is also less than a mile away.

The New Forest Heritage Centre is a captivating destination that immerses visitors in the rich history, wildlife, and conservation efforts of the New Forest National Park. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with an engaging short film that sets the stage for exploration. The museum features a variety of displays and exhibits that delve into topics such as geology, forestry, and commoning practices unique to this area. A highlight is the stunning New Forest Embroidery created to commemorate its 900th anniversary—a true testament to local artistry.
Interesting museum, well laid out and very informative on the New Forest. Cafe and a well stocked gift shop, very helpful staff. Free entry and next to a large car park.
Tania M — Google review
Lovely small museum about the founding of the 900 year old New Forest and key components of its history and life, such as Roman and World War II involvement, Alice in Wonderland connections, a small cob house replica, and why there are roaming horses (to name a few of the topics). Museum is free though donations are very appreciated. They also have a nice gift shop and cafe on site. Toilets adequate and free. Car park immediately next to it is from the city and costs a small fee.
Becky T — Google review
I made a short stop in this small town on my way north, and visited the Heritage Centre. There was not that much to see, although the few displays were interesting enough. I guess the centre is more useful as an information centre than a museum.
T H — Google review
Great museum, donations welcome. Set within the carpark. Cafe is relaxing with music in the background. Plenty of cakes for Gluten free diets and something for vegans. Both cakes In photos are gluten and dairy free. Top marks for the caramel one. Lots of choices for food and drinks. Prices are average for the area.

A small museum depicting life in The New Forest for its residents. The museum is free with a card point asking for a voluntary donation. There’s a cafe & shop within the centre. Doesn’t take long to go around the exhibits but is a nice way to see forest life.

With around a hundred shops including major retailers like John Lewis, Marks and Spencer, Zara, Schuh, Waterstone's, and Apple among others. Located in the heart of Southampton, Marlands Shopping Centre offers a diverse mix of retail, hospitality, and independent businesses within its 220,000 square feet of space. Its calmer atmosphere can be appreciated compared to the bustling Westquay, making it a pleasant alternative for shopping and dining. Notable stores include a well-regarded Disney store and unique shops like DAO, which offers oriental gifts and collectibles. It provides a selection of useful shops and a more relaxed shopping experience.

Such a strange shopping centre with a fake little old school shop facade in the centre. I always feel sorry for old shopping malls. They deserve some love. The public toilets are really nice and kept clean and tidy.
Amy B — Google review
Too many empty shops and not much advertising for the few businesses that are open upstairs. And also the shops in the middle at the bottom sometimes their customers are blocking the way through so in my wheelchair it can be very hard to get round.
Emma M — Google review
Tired, dated shopping mall, especially when compared to Westquay. The walkway from the Asda side entrance has open shops but as you reach the center of the shopping mall there are a lot of empty units on the first floor. There are some coffee shops and cafes on the first floor.
Judy O — Google review
Very huge shopping mall which almost has everything reacted to day to day living. The place is best filled with good people and many stores that welcomes people to buy or to server with the best what they can do to their customers. I loved to buy vegetables from the Marlands which is fresh and good quality with cheaper prices. The Marlands shopping center is located at the center portion of the city center of southampton and almost every bus route connects to this point right in front of Marlands. The stop is dedicated for Marlands shopping center which includes name as ASDA & MARLANDS stop or you can get of at civic center if you wish to walk into Marlands even faster if your were traveling g from airport, Portswood, eastleigh, Bitten park or portsmoth area direction. It has a dedicated parking service which is very huge and vast The marlands is one of the very fast moving shopping center and we can trust on their quality and hygenicity. The Marlands shopping center will always have a specific team to grab and dispose the unwanted materials and waste, very well managed by the supervisor. Each and every shop at the Marlands are bit affordable to buy any products for day to day purposes and durability of the products depends upon the useage Overall I'm totally satisfied with the Marlands Shopping Center experience.

Sandy Balls Holiday Village is a forested resort located in Fordingbridge, within the natural beauty of the New Forest National Park. The village offers a range of accommodations from basic pods to upscale lodges, including caravan pitches that are dog-friendly. Guests can enjoy various amenities such as two swimming pools, a hot tub, sauna, and a leisure center with activities like cinema and body zorbing.
We have just spent a long weekend camping. I have to say I was dubious about going when I read some of the reviews but we have just had a fantastic time. The campsite was amazing with plenty of room around each pitch and the toilets & showers were cleaned regularly throughout the day. It was a lovely walk from the campsite to the holiday village and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a really fun family foam fight and the kids loved the pool. It was lovely to see all the children that came with bikes all cycling around the site together. Downside - one lady on reception was quite rude and not very welcoming and the people in the tent behind us stayed up drinking until early hours of the morning and had no consideration for others on the site. Other than that - well done Sandy Balls, we will be back x

A solid three star review dropped to a two. Why? Having to stand in a glass foyer got 35 minutes to secure access to the pool. Not pools, just pool. Indoor and out. The locker rooms are dire, missing tiles, rusting flaking fittings. The service was frustrating, not being told a padlock was needed for the lockers, leading to have to walk back out already changed and asked for 2 quid to borrow a padlock. The restaurant we ate in was good and quick. But again, the toilets were a mess, toilet paper all over the floor. But again the food was pretty good, and hot and quick. We stayed on the camping field which was nice enough, but the squared off plots made it feel pretty sterile and took the charm out of it, portacabin toilet block was okay. The cleaners did a great job, but left the floor soaked so frustratingly it was a muddy mess moments after they cleaned. All in all I was excited about visiting Sandy Balls, but it's in need of care and refurbishment. I probably won't visit again.

After reading some of these reviews, I am very glad I didn’t have the same experience! All I can say is wow! We have stayed at a few ‘Away Resorts’ locations and this is by far the best one we have come by. We booked a 10berth for my 30th birthday, just my partner and I. It was lovely, spotlessly clean. Beds a little hard for my liking but you can’t please everyone! A special mention to cleaners Verity & Thistlebe for making our stay so lovely and clean. We were really pleased and shocked at the little things, I.e towels folded nicely, prosecco on arrival, mirrors absolutely spotless. Also a shout out to Karen in guest services, she has been faultless through and through with helping us! She has been so polite and efficient. Infact, all of the staff we have come across have been lovely & friendly. Entertainment not great for us as we are 2 adults and there is a lot of kids stuff on, so would’ve been nice for more adult entertainment. The arcades were great and clean and again, helpful staff in there. Food at the Woodside Inn was brilliant although pricey. Lovely location for us to be able to walk the dogs being right near the Forest. All in all, I would definitely stay at Sandy Balls again and we are thoroughly enjoying our stay! Thank you!

Stayed for 3 nights and overall it was a really good stay. The main bedroom has ample room with a toilet, large dining and seating area, main bathroom and additional bedroom where our toddler stayed. A few reasons why I didn’t give it a 5 star: 1. Missing remote for bedroom tv - we didn’t need it but others might want to. 2. Frying pan was very old and needs replacing - we never used it. 3. Few of the kitchen kick boards were loose. 4. Drawer top completely loose in spare room. A bit of a touch up on these jobs and replacing kitchen items would make it a 5 star. We used the pool which wasn’t heated and I would suggest bringing flip flops as the changing rooms are very wet…also no where to change except 3 changing rooms - otherwise you have to hold your clothes or change next to your locker. Sauna doesn’t get hot either. For a 3 star resort, I would say it exceeds expectations and you get what you pay for. We will however stay again as it was worth the money, had stuff to do for our toddler and it was a great location.

Booking experience was chaotic. Customer service made an error with our booking ( they initially blamed me) until I proved that it wasn't my fault. We ended up having to stay in one type of accommodation for our first night and then move accommodation for the next 3 nights. Not very relaxing to unpack, repack and move. We were told to be out of the first accommodation by 10am and effectively be lodge less for 4 and a half hours until our next accommodation was ready. We obliged. However, this evening we found out that out first accommodation wasn't even needed until tomorrow. It hasn't even been cleaned so why couldn't they have just let us stay in it until our next accommodation was available? Instead we drove around the local area for 4 and a half hours!! On our return at 2.30 pm they initially said our new accommodation wouldn't be ready until 4pm!! Luckily, it was actually ready. My gripe is that after being messed around so much, more could have been done to lessen the inconvenience but it wasn't. It was really just shabby. Oh I forgot to mention that on arrival we were told that THE POOL WAS CLOSED FOR THE WHOLE TIME. So why didn't the company send out an email to guests letting them know?. Well because they didn't want anyone to cancel. Being a couple of old cogers, we weren't bothered but what about all the families with children? Again, where is the consideration for your paying holiday makers? The thing is, if you treat people like this, they won't come back. Anyway, the lodge we had Bluebell 25 was very nice. Please clean the blinds in the master bedroom toilet. They are disgusting. Very quiet. Well equipped. Heating good. So in a nutshell: Booking - nightmare and errors caused us to have to move accommodation after 1 day of our holiday Lack of consideration over pool closure We didn't appreciate being homeless for over 4 hours when they could have easily sorted this. Would we come again- possibly once I have forgotten about this experience! We are still at Sandy Balls until Thursday so hoping the rest of our stay is more enjoyable.

We booked this on a whim after our holiday home in France needed builders in. And we were amazed with our holiday! We arrived slightly after 15:30 and there was no queue to check in, I walked in and was greeted by some very chatty and lovely staff at reception. They were attentive, friendly and more than happy to answer any questions that I had. We were given Tawnywood 13, which is deep into the resort, however it is clearly signposted and gave us all our first impressions of the park which was how clean and nice it was! However upon arrival we noticed that a previous holiday maker had driven into the electric car charging point and it was offline. I rang the office as the rest of my family unpacked and within 2 minutes staff had arranged for me to charge in the van next door which was brilliant! In to the caravan itself, it was generally very clean and up to date, although we did notice some signs of wear and tear, however nothing that was problematic or worse than we’ve seen in any B&B’s etc… we did find a wristband for Peppa Pig world in the sofa and some Pom bears, and I accept that people may be quite affected by that, hence the 4/5. Other than that there was everything we needed, the showers were hot and clean, beds fresh and made and heating was just right! We enjoyed all the facilities on site, the shop wasn’t as expensive as I thought it would be which was a pleasant surprise. Likewise the price of drinks at the bars etc…. For reference it was less than £1 difference between drinks rounds with the pub up the road. The staff behind the bars were all friendly and enjoyable to interact with, with them even joining in on jokes with my family which was great! The food we had was good; about on par with a regular chain pub or eatery, a tad more expensive but the new forest isn’t cheap at the best of times, again staff were attentive and friendly. Service was prompt and the food was cooked well! I would definitely recommend the tacos. They were delicious!!! Entertainment for my 2 year old was great, between the soft play and the Bear in our woods evening entertainment for him he was never bored and was knackered every night! Although we found the adventure play areas were a bit tired around the edges, with bits broken here and there, not that little one minded. Location is fantastic for visiting the new forest/Salisbury/Southampton/Bournemouth. We enjoyed it so much we booked again whilst there and benefitted from a discount, we thought the prices were reasonable anyway, so to get the little extra is always nice! Looking forward to coming back again! Hopefully the experience will be equally as nice!

Was a lovely place, we stayed in a lodge with a hot tub, although it overlooked two other lodge’s balconies. We were disappointed that the pool had been fully booked but were tools to wait for 10 mins to see if everyone turned up, they didn’t so we got to swim. It was great but in all felt it was an over priced caravan holiday club.
Benn A — Google review
Unfortunately there isn't much to do on site and it's all run down and expensive for what it is. It might be passable for a couple of nights but that's it. The accommodation was really neglected, bathroom a bit manky in places, water damage to the worktops in the kitchen, all the dials had been rubbed off the cooker so no idea what temperature your oven is. Entertainment area was small. The whole place seems to be poorly managed by the current owners. Given you're in the New Forest, we asked if they had any maps of local walks but were told no, try the cycling centre, but that was shut. We made our own way to Fordingbridge using Google. Surely with such an asset on your doorstep you would make more of an effort to help people? We also had a tree branch scraping on the roof of our lodge all day and night in the wind which we reported but nothing happened. After two nights the builders moved in with heavy machinery to remove the lodge next to us. So much noise, we asked to move lodge but were told no so we left with only a partial refund and no apology. Just an excuse that we should expect noise on a 365 day holiday camp. Yes, like someone cutting the tree branch scraping on our lodge roof perhaps?

A little under-strength because if the pandemic, hence the 4*, but still a good selection of locally produced/sourced goods including traditional bread, meat & fish, wild boar & venison sausages, fudge, hummus & anti-pasti; all at really competitive prices. Friendly & helpful sellers, and shoppers following social-distancing guidelines. Looking forward to the market being back to normal

Lymington Saturday Market is a traditional market that takes place on the historic cobblestones of Lymington High Street every Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm. With over one hundred stall holders, visitors can find a wide range of goods including fresh seafood, artwork, jewelry, and plants. The market is popular among both locals and tourists due to its vibrant atmosphere and diverse offerings.
Our second trip to Lymington and took family with us who also loved and enjoyed the artisan-style market and all the quaint individual independent shops and cafes. Such a pleasant change from the usual stereotype high street shops we've come to know. I'd highly recommend a day out at this lovely town as there's lots to see.
Diane C — Google review
Nice market situated in the High Street. Not great for those that can’t walk far, but plenty of places to stop for a drink and bite to eat along the way. Local produce and friendly stall holders with some great items on sale.

This is a wonderful market with local produce and sensibly priced items. The street itself is worth a visit but go early on market day to get the best of both. Great music to listen too as you browse the market stalls too. The church is quite pretty too, I popped in to have a look and found a pianist practicing I sat and enjoyed the music and tranquility for a while. It was a wonderful day out.

Comprehensive choice of seasonal plants at reasonable prices, sold by stallholders who could answer any question put to them. Also delicious baked goods of many varieties. Plus hand sewn domestic items, including a well designed peg bag, that I simply had to have! Many other interesting stalls too. Well worth a socially distanced browse.
Julie K — Google review
This is one of the best markets I have ever seen, with plenty of nice stalls and loads of people walking by. To trade here you have to call the market supervisor the day before between 6 and 8 pm and then show up in the morning outside HSBC bank at 7 o’clock. You will be given a pitch and the rent is average.

The post office Woodgreen Community Shop is a long and narrow building, with a large selection of groceries and other items on offer including wines and beers. It also has an ice cream section and a small car park. The staff are friendly and helpful.
I visited today on the hunt for Baboo hazelnut ice cream as the shop is listed as a stockist. Sadly they didn’t have the flavour I wanted, but the staff were more than helpful and offered to ask the manager to see if they can get it in. My daughter, friend and I had coffee and cake and I purchased 3 other flavours! Lovely kind friendly staff, great venue and the cake was delicious. Thank you. We will definitely be back. This is a lovely and relatively new community shop and post office which is surprisingly quite large inside compared to the size of the village. It has a large range of produce including a good selection of wines and beers. From dairy produce to Meats, a frozen food cabinet and fire wood. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Next to it is a decent sized car park. Open every day of the week (do check the opening hours). As a holiday maker in Woodgreen you should be able to find everything you need to enjoy your stay here.

We had a wonderful trip to the New Forest, we wanted to buy an antique or souvenir so thought this was the best place for it. Once we were in the store, we were constantly followed by an older woman, presumably the owner. Wherever we went she followed, looking over anything we had admired or conversed about. There were other people in the store and she did not follow them. We felt so uncomfortable we had to leave. I can see by multiple other reviews that this is a common occurrence, shame as this experience ruined our day out in Lyndhurst. EDIT: following response from the owner “Janine” Do not lie, you followed my wife and I, there were only 2 other people in the shop apart from us. This was not during this Easter weekend.

Having thoroughly enjoyed the exhibits at Coastal Gallery at Artsway we decided to visit the gallery in Lymington. It clearly states on their website that the gallery is open on Wednesday 9.30am – 4.30pm. Having travelled an hour from The New Forest we were disappointed to find the gallery closed and from what we could see from the outside, not much hanging space for pictures. Not quite the leading independent contemporary art gallery as advertised on their website. If you decide to visit, ring first before setting off.

I will be back and as always, confident I will find that special piece with your expert guidance, thanks Coastal Gallery.

I had read some interesting PR about this exhibition so was keen to see for myself if was going to live up to expectations - and the exhibition more than did that. There was so much amazing art to explore and enjoy that I felt overloaded at the end of my first visit and so went back for a 2nd and a 3rd visit to fully experience everything that was on view. I met one of the owners of the Gallery, Stewart, who couldn't have been more helpful in talking me through some of the work. I loved the way that each of the 3 galleries at ArtSway had a very different feel - whoever planned and hung the exhibition deserves a medal! Thank you for opening my eyes to some new artists.

Recently visited over the ArtSway exhibition as part of Hampshire Open Studios. I was impressed by the wide range of contemporary art on show, including some amazing ceramics by Arek Nowicki who uses an incredible process of crystaline glazes. During my time visiting, I felt like a magpie in the gift shop, and bought some of Jo Vane's stunning jewellery. They also have a range of artist talks everyday at 11am which was very insightful into the work of each artist and offered something else to the usual gallery experience.

Beautifully curated art gallery in Lymington. Harriet and Rosie who own the shop are doing a fantastic job at showcasing new and local artists.

What a lovely find! Amazing local artists. Paintings, prints, ceramics, fabric art and jewellery. Such a lovely mix. Current exhibition just started. Forest to the sea. Treat yourself.

No welcome here. The staff could not be bothered to acknowledge our presence. Some lovely pieces not displayed well. All very crowded. A shop not a gallery. Could do better.

Beautiful gallery! I would definitely recommend popping in to have a look if you’re in the Lymington area.

The White Company is a chic retail chain that specializes in an elegant collection of furniture, clothing, and homewares, predominantly featuring a stunning white palette. Customers have praised the Ringwood store for its exceptional service, particularly highlighting staff members like Julie and Lisa for their dedication to resolving issues efficiently. Despite some delivery hiccups in the past, the team has shown remarkable commitment by going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction—whether through quick refunds or even hand-delivering items when necessary.
Had an issue with an online order and Lisa was a massive help sorting it out, the item was out of stock in store and online but managed to track one down in another branch and have it sent to us. I've worked in retail for 15 years and Lisa went above and beyond so thank you

I recently bought some earrings as a gift for my friend but I realised that she already had the same pair so I wanted to see if it would be possible to exchange them for a different pair. They had been gift wrapped and had clearly not been opened since the time of purchase. I was aware that this may not be possible but I thought I would ask anyway. I explained my situation to the nice girl on the desk and she seemed to want to try and help. However, we were rudely interrupted by a women who I’m assuming was the store manager informing me, in an aggressive manor, that earrings are strictly non-refundable to which I replied saying “I was only asking because at the time of purchase I was offered a gift receipt so though there was a possibility”. However, to which she rudely replied, raising her voice, “would you want to buy earrings that had been returned by somebody else?”. I was taken aback by her rudeness and I found my experience today very upsetting. I usually like to enter the shop because of the welcome and warm ambiance given by the staff but today has been ruined due to the rude encounter I had with this particular staff member. I chose to leave the shop immediately and I am now unwilling to return to the ringwood branch.

I bought a luxury car scenting diffuser back in June 2025 l, and I love the smell and its last ages. But the reason I give it a 1 stat rating is because the magent inside the diffuser keeps falling out and when I go over a bumper it just comes off so I am have to keep getting it out of the foot well of my car which is not good. It's a great little product and smells great but I would of expected this product to not ne doing this when I have only had it a few months. I contact the White company and they advised me that as it not under guarantee or a warranty they can not give me a full refund or exchange, but they will give an E-gift card to the same value . I am not of course happy with this as.i want the product exchanged or replaced as I really like it. This is somewhat very disappointing from a well known high street brand. I will be thinking twice now about purchasing from this company in future.

Although my order went very wrong due to a mixup and miscommunication (issue with getting the product sent to my address), they rectified this by quickly refunding the delivery charge then also by hand delivering to my address at no extra cost! so thank you very much Marie! :)
