My initial impression of the restaurant wasn’t great, but it grew on me a little. When I entered, it took a while to get seated, and the interior felt somewhat small. However, the unique decor was definitely a positive aspect. I ordered a lemon drop cocktail, but it had very little alcohol and tasted more like water—so I didn’t order a second one. For my entrée, I chose the Wallie because of the many options available. I was thoroughly impressed and ended up finishing the entire dish. It was a fantastic recommendation from my waitress.

This is my favorite restaurant in Wheeling. Everything on the menu is great, especially the crepes. The Smores Latte is phenomenal.

We all had a different crepe but sadly I didn’t get other pictures. I had the Blueberry Hill, and it was phenomenal. My friend really enjoyed the Lox crepe. We also enjoyed the focaccia and potato salad. The atmosphere is so adorable and unique. Even my 1 year old enjoyed this restaurant!

The menu had a variety but was not overwhelming. The server was fanatic. The food was delicious. The experience was spectacular!!

Lunch was absolutely delicious! I appreciated the vegetation options and the lattè was amazing !

Was part of a wedding party and we had our check covered by some unknown party. That was a very welcome surprise. The crepes were absolutely fantastic. If I return to Wheeling any time soon, I will definitely be patronizing this restaurant again.

This was a great find on the first night of our weekend in Wheeling - it might be one of the best dinners I've had. There was a bit of a wait to get in, but down the street was a little Friday evening festival so we spent the time listening to the music and window shopping. My husband and I split 2 savory crepes (the Crepe Escape, and the Crepe Shoot) and one sweet crepe (Blueberry Hill). I would be hard pressed to pick between the two crepes, the flavors on both were amazing. For the sweet Crepe we substituted honey instead of maple syrup because I am not a maple fan - it was absolutely amazing. The whipped cream was not too sweet and was a great compliment to the brie and blueberries. Delicious. We will definitely be back!

I just like seeing suspension bridges. This was a very nice stop on a PA to OH and back road trip on Labor Day weekend. There is a road closed sign in front of the bridge but that’s just for vehicles. You can walk or bike across it. It was a beautiful day. We really enjoyed walking across and seeing the river. There is no fee and no ticket required. We parked on the street a half a block away. This is on the National Road heritage trail - there is a little info sign about the history of the bridge and the trail right there too. If you are parked on the side where heritage port is, you are crossing over to Wheeling Island and vice versa.

The Wheeling Suspension Bridge is a nice local landmark and great spot for a walk. The bridge was built in 1849 and has so much history to it. Near the entrance, there’s a sign that gives a lot of helpful information about the history and construction of the bridge. They were actually doing renovations to the bridge when I was there, but that didn’t hinder the experience. When walking across the bridge, there’s great views of the city of Wheeling, the Ohio River, and Wheeling Island. It’s a cool landmark to visit if you’re in the area.

A great historic site in the midst of an historic town. Easy to walk to everything, lots of small shops to visit, and a lot of great architecture.

It was the largest suspension bridge in the world from 1849 until 1851. The Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the main channel of the Ohio River at Wheeling, West Virginia. The bridge was a very interesting engineering piece of history. We wanted to see the bridge but it was under renovation. They were doing bridge repair, so the bridge was closed to motor vehicles. We could only walk on one side of the street near the bridge and get some good pictures. Hope it reopens.

Very interesting stop to make if you can. Couple of nice restaurants and pubs close to the Wheeling side.

Classic pizza shop with a unique style of pizza. Great service ordering at the counter with the pizza served in boxes. Plenty of parking in the lot or on the side of the street out front. Good value for delicious pizza. The crunch of the crust is so satisfying as is the freshness of the grated cheese served cold on top.

I was visiting my daughter today at OSU & happened to walk by this pizza shop! The same pizza shop “Di Carlo’s” that I ate as a child when visiting my grandparents in Wintersville. Was curious to see if anything had changed over 30+ years and it was exactly how I remembered, even better! Everything fresh & the crispy crust is so Delicious!!! Got it as a take & bake since I had a 2 hour drive with it. Thanks Nick ! I’ll be back for sure!

Sauce was tasty and dough were pretty good. Non-melted cheese is not my preference. Might be good for other, just not great for me.

Stopped by for a tray of take n bake on the way home from New Jersey. I called in the order and showed up when they told me. I stood in the store waiting for about 15 minutes. I asked another person and they pulled it from the refrigerator, it had been ready when I got there.🤨 good thing the pie is so freaking tasty!

Love this and the St. Clairsville location. I guess there is supposed to be some major differences but I don't notice them as I think they're both delicious and SUCH a local traditional favorite.

The Pepperoni Roll is very good. The Roll Combo comes with a bottled drink for only $6.50. Don't forget to get a combo card... buy 5 and get your 6th free.

DiCarlo's Pizza is a local favorite for good reason. Their pepperoni rolls are absolutely delicious - perfect for a quick lunch or snack - and everything is very affordable. Plus, it's conveniently within walking distance from my office, which makes grabbing a bite super easy. Beyond the food, the staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit a great experience. I also appreciate how they've supported my Air Force Recruiting efforts by allowing me to share information with their customers. It's always great to see a local business that cares about both their local community and the people who serve it. Highly recommend stopping by!

We happened on this museum after seeing a sign for it when traveling along highway 70... It happened there was also a sale with vendors the same day we stopped by... We had a nice time... it was a great place to stop... and kid friendly as well...

This place was so much fun! As a board game collector the game room was AWESOME! I loved how so many games were opened with their pieces and boards on display. I really wish the monopoly collection had been on display. The cool toys were so much fun to look at. The radio control trucks with the working platform was a blast to play with! I also love trains and the layouts with the cool buttons to push to make different things happen. I was a happy "kid!" The building, an old school, that the museum is in is pretty cool as well. Would love to get to visit again sometime when I have more time to look at everything in more depth.

The Kruger Street Toy & Train Museum is a place full of nostalgia and fun. It features an impressive collection of miniature trains, classic toys, and interactive exhibits that appeal to both children and adults. The best part is how it combines history with entertainment, as each piece has its own charm and memories from different eras. The staff is very friendly and happy to share details about the displays. Definitely a must-visit for train enthusiasts and families looking for a unique experience.

A well run museum of toys and model trains. It was very cool to see a HO DM & IR Yellowstone locomotive! Very clean museum. I had an enjoyable visit!

Visiting the Kruger Street Toy and Train Museum is a fun and nostalgic experience. The old-school toy and train museum is literally located inside a former school, giving it a very quaint ambiance. This place had several rooms full of old dolls, action figures, toy vehicles, pin ball machines, Christmas villages, legos, antique artifacts, and so much more. Each room had a different theme and can bring back so many nostalgic memories for people of all ages. The most impressive part was the massive model train sets that went through different themed villages. There was even a model amusement park with train roller coasters. The staff there is also very friendly and willing to answer all questions. It was a very fun experience and one I would highly recommend for people of all ages.

Absolutely amazing! We loved this place. Packed with toys, but very neatly and attractively organized. There are a lot of things to view, but also a lot of things to play and do. The museum and individual rooms are arranged in a very family friendly way. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This place also has the BEST gift shop grab bags I've ever purchased!

The food was excellent! Staff were so helpful and accommodating! They certainly go above and beyond to make your event special. Our only complaint was that the chairs are overdue for an upgrade.

Wings, perogies, all beef hotdog. Hotdog was spicy, came with chili sauce, shredded cheddar, and was way bigger than the bun. I had not ordered them before ands did not realize the size. After eating 5 wings and sharing the perogies, I could only eat 1 of the 2 hotdogs I ordered. Very good

Generations is a vibe and whenever we pass through West Virginia, you know the boys are stopping in.

We had an amazing experience at Generations Restaurant and Pub! The perogies and boneless chicken wings were absolutely delicious — full of flavor and cooked perfectly. We also tried the liver and onions, which were done just right, and topped it off with one of their lava cake desserts — rich, warm, and decadent. Our waitress was outstanding — not only was she attentive and friendly, but she also shared a quick history of the restaurant and gave us great recommendations for places to check out while we’re visiting Wheeling. Her hospitality truly made the experience memorable. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area!

It was our server's first night out of training, and she did phenomenal. This came out in conversation and we were happy to be able to build her up. She was personable, thorough, and attentive. The menu had changed some since the last time we were there, and everything sounded appetizing. We usually love the Buffalo chicken dip here, but tonight it was lukewarm. There was an abundance of pita bread, which was a pleasant surprise. My husband enjoyed the flavor of his burger. The WV dogs were a miss. They were overally wet, and I needed a knife and fork to eat them. I've had them in the past and really enjoyed them. The salad was fresh and plentiful.

We stopped here for lunch while passing through to Gettysburg National Military Park and had a wonderful experience. The food was really good, our server was better than excellent and the proces were quite reasonable.

From someone that has worked in a sports bar for over 17 years, this place is fantastic. Everyone from the host to the owner were very inviting. TV's were all on different college football games and the place was energetic. Props to the owner and the staff!

Loved this place! We were out site seeing and found this place. The service was top notch! The servers were very friendly and recommended other places to go see on our visit. The food was great and I highly recommend the fried french toast sticks with handmade cream cheese dip! The atmosphere is very friendly. Parking was a breeze and the place was very clean. Highly recommend.

The truffle fries were delicious. I had the BLT and my husband had the hangover burger. They were pretty much your basic all American dishes. We will try something more unique next time. We also dined in on a Sunday for brunch and the service was not great either.

Had a great time here! We arrived right when they opened and were seated in a nice booth in the window. They had great local alcoholic ciders that my partner and I tried. The gluten free breakfast I had was good.

The atmosphere looks nice on the inside. The customer service was ok. I ordered the frog legs and I was highly disappointed. These were the smallest I have ever seen in my life. The honey lemon pepper seasoning I had on it was delicious. So we asked could we get some of the sauce to go and that we would pay for the sauce. The chef told the waitress that he didn't have time to be making a sauce if we were not placing another order. So I do not plan to go back again.

Been here many times since its beginning, through all the changes, and I’m always excited to see the growth of this restaurant. Super creative and tasty menu. Constantly keeping things new and fresh. Lots of exclusive food events through the year as well. A must-stop spot in the Ohio Valley! Staff is always super friendly and quick as well.

We were looking for a different place for brunch and this hit the spot perfectly! Seeing where everything is sourced from on the menu showed that community is important. It also did not disappoint. We loved everything… coffee with cream , farmer Eric’s eggs Benedict, and the lemon and blueberry waffles with sausage…. All delicious! How does someone make eggs this good???

Not sure why the mixed reviews on this place. This is a very nice establishment considering the lack of options in the Wheeling area. Restaurant is clean, server was very friendly. I had a steak sandwich with a house salad. Steak was cooked perfect and the salad was a mix of fresh greens. My girlfriend had a salmon salad and she enjoyed it as well. No complaints. Food and presentation were excellent even with my order being standard American fare. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food. If you're expecting a burger and fries or the like for $10, you will be disappointed. One thing that could really help would be remodeling of the restrooms.

Incredibly good food! My girlfriend and I are in town on business and this place was suggested. We sat outside on a nice night, service was good but the food! Man the food! Everything we had was fantastic, higher end dishes at great prices. Will be back for sure.

Food was OK. Our soup was sitting there forever, our waitress just forgot to bring it to us, but she said that the chef was having a break. She also didn't bring us any water. Every part of the meal took forever, and we needed to go, so we asked our main meals to go. Our waitress just brought us our food on the plates anyway and then later brought boxes so we'd pack our food ourselves. My husband didn't ask for a refill, but he got a refill and they charged us for that. I wish we didn't tip. They pretend to be fancy but they are not. The smell is weird in there. We'll definitely never go back.

Great bread, great food. I ordered one of the special of the day, steak and shrimps, it was a bit salty, and personally I do not like rosemary, but others in my party enjoyed their food. The vegetables were fresh. Service was a bit slow.

My wife and I ate here. It was awesome. Great salad. Had steak with onions. It was so good. It was like two years ago but still possibly the best steak I've ate since. The only weird thing was it was a fancy restaurant and the waitresses were extremely....."crack head looking" Clean but missing a lot of teeth, drug addict skinny, and really thin hair. Could of just been the area.

I have been going to the Metropolitan a few times a year since they opened(I don't eat out much in general). I honestly can say I've always been treated to delicious meals. I consider myself picky when looking at restaurant selection any will only eat here and three other places in the local area based on food quality and taste. When I go here, I typically order calamari and the pear endive salad. The calamari is consistently made the same way with a crucnchy texture which I love. I've also had their seared tuna and pork more than once. Other people I have gone with have been pleased with their meals as well. Each time I have gone I've had good service, lunch time or dinner time. White linin tablecloths and uniformed servers provide a nice atmosphere. Personally I would go here for lunch in jeans and a nice top with flats or heels and maybe the same attire for dinner but generally for dinner, I dress up a little more behind jeans. It is the only restaurant in Wheeling I consider upscale. There are many other casual restaurants to choose from in the local area for more casual dress. Give it a try:)

Over the past couple of years I have eaten here a few times. It is the only classy, upscale establishment around the Ohio Valley (some of the local Italian restaurants are quite nice, but not upscale enough for evening attire). The last time I went was over a holiday, and I think they were short a server, as we were overlooked at our table a fair amount, but to be fair, it was a busy night and the place was packed! I must add that I am disappointed by the responses posted by the owner on two comments. Attacking one customer because she lives in a poorer demographic and for arriving late is completely inappropriate behavior for a service oriented establishment, whether she deserved it or not. Then the semi-polite, yet subtly disdainful reply to the other gentleman for his "so-so" opinion was also unbecoming. While I will agree that finding good quality people to employee around the Ohio Valley is a tremendous challenge it could have been worded with much more class.

I was the only person touring, and the staff were very nice and friendly. They asked if I wanted to watch a 15 minute documentary, made sure to let me know the layout of the building with elevators/bathrooms/what each floor had, and stopped to explain the history of the main rooms. My favorite part was the documentary, learning about the court room area, and the make your own flag room! I bought postcards from the giftshop.

I'm passionate about history. I despised it in primary school, but now, I cannot get enough. When I go to places like Independence Hall, it warms my heart. The people who have taken such time and care to restore and preserve historic sites such as this one deserve great accolade. This is the site of West Virginia's birth, and they do a great job of telling the story. In addition you will find beautiful antique pieces throughout. This building is beautifully restored. The museum is FREE. The staff were very friendly, and the gift shop is definitely one of the most affordable. Travel tip: there is free parking in a small lot next to the building if you are visiting.

This place is a fantastic museum and it is free! Unbelievable, but true. Four floors of jam packed History. The woman who greeted us was welcoming, pleasant, and fun to talk to. We especially enjoyed her made up British accent.

This place is filled with history! The receptionist was very knowledgeable about the building and could answer just about any questions we had. This is a definite must if you are visiting this area!

Atmosphere- located on Wheeling Island in an old neighborhood (probably not the best area of Wheeling). This restaurant felt compact. Tables were too close together and there wasn’t a lot of them. Looks to be two floors but never went upstairs to see if there was more room up there. Had to wait about ten minutes for a table even though they didn’t seem busy. Just a weird layout. Service- 4 stars- our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Food- 4 stars- enjoyed the fried dumplings and the Kung Pao Chicken. Large portions! Also got the Chicken and zucchini with garlic sauce- was supposed to be spicy but wasn’t at all- still decent but wish it had some kick to it. Overall a pretty good Chinese restaurant.

There were four of us and we all got seafood. They gave you plenty of shrimp, crab, and scallops. The entire portion of food was huge. We all took some home. I thought the food was actually better the second day. Usually parsley does not have a taste but this parsley tasted really good. I even ate the decorative radish flower. It was good too. Brooke was our waitress and she did a fantastic job. Always there when you needed her and very attentive. We will definitely go back.

Some of the best Chinese food I’ve had to date is for this really great restaurant! It doesn’t look like much on the outside but the food more than makes up for it! We tried several dishes and all of them were very tasty! A cozy and inviting atmosphere but it can be a little cramped if the restaurant is near capacity. The decor is tasteful, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Overall, if you're looking for a great Chinese meal in Wheeling, WV, you can't go wrong with Golden Chopsticks.

Not Golden anymore. I have been eating at Golden Chopsticks ever since Martin opened this place. I worked with Martin when Peking Gardens was in Wheeling. Jimmy too bless his soul. However, the quality is not what it once was since Martin sold this place and the customer service I received while ordering takeout was terrible. I miss Jimmy. He was the best!. I was told that they don’t make sweet and sour pork. Only chicken, beef, or shrimp. and the ginger salad is no more. This was one of my faves! As I was inquiring about Singapore chow mei fun the girl told me to”hold on.” After waiting for a few and being a little frustrated I hung up and called back hoping to get someone else. Another person answered and I asked him what was in the Singapore chow Mei fun. He told me veggies, egg and a protein of my choice like chicken, beef, or shrimp. I am familiar with this dish and know what goes in it. I just wanted to make sure they made it this way. So I ordered this dish with the chicken as well as the sweet and sour chicken. When I got home and opened the containers I was very disappointed at what I saw. The sweet and sour chicken is what you would get a a cheap fast food Chinese takeout. Heavy breading with very little meat and hardly any veggies. Chow mei fun did not have one sliver of chicken or veggies or egg. So sad to this place turn out the way it has. Lots of good memories though. Thanks Martin and Jimmy for the memories.

Who would have ever thought that some of the best Chinese food I've ever had in my life would come from an unassuming building located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Wheeling? Trust me when I tell you that if you are anywhere close to this restaurant you must stop! The food is excellent! Freshly prepared and delicious. Everything we ordered was delicious. It's absolutely wonderful!

Another Excellent lunch fresh hot and flavors perfect w/Billy as our waiter. Billy is a exceptional waiter, he never missed a beat! He has heart a great personality knows the menu well and has a charming way about him! When we go back again we will definitely ask for Amy she has a very cheerful happy personality a great waitress our dining in experience was amazing we truly appreciate her serving us. Golden is a classic Chinese American restaurant in Wheeling that I have visited for decades. Food is always fresh, generous servings, efficient service, kind and gracious management, comfortable dining room, and tops in Wheeling. Our family enjoys their sushi, hot n sour soup, steamed dumplings, mapo tofu, Chinese eggplant, sesame chicken, Young chow fried rice, kung pao chicken, Chinese angel hair pasta, moo shu pork with Asian pancake wraps, bok choy with shitake mushrooms, sauteed string beans, orange beef, and steamed whole fish. You will not regret and walk out happily full.

The Soup Shack has a great location in Centre Market that's perfect for a lunch with friends or just by yourself with a good book. While I haven't had all of their wide variety of soups yet, I've loved each one I've tried. The sandwiches are awesome, too. For a little place, they certainly have a lot of options for a very reasonable price and quickly became one of my favorite places in Wheeling.

Frank, the owner of the soup shack is such a great guy. He prices all his products below market value. All of his ingredients are bought fresh and he makes a variety of excellent soups like wedding soup,16 cajun bean,chicken tortilla,and cheesy potato to name some of the best ones that i have tasted. All menu items will be exceptionally fresh and cooked to your liking.

This place is a train wreck. They can't figure or how to process orders, and they ended up only making half our order. The soups we got right away because they are pre-made and sitting in crock pots. Sadly, they had little flavor. The seating area was filthy. The guy who appeared to be in charge was not good at directing his employees, but he was apologetic. This could be a great place, but they have to get their act together first.

The Soup Shack is one of the small eateries inside the Wheeling Farmers Market. Our soups and sandwiches were good. There's a small area with tables. It's worth a return visit if we're back in Wheeling again. There are also small retail stores in the area around the market, though most were closed on the Monday we were there.

It seems they have at least three choices of delicious soups at all Times. I had the crab bisque and it was so yummy! I also had the best Reuben sandwich ever!

Best soup Ive ever eaten, next to my grandmothers. All homemade, and Frank is a great guy. Great price as well.

It was okay. I got there about 15 minutes before they closed and the gentleman that waited on me was super nice but the Lady that fixed my food was not nice and she was upset because she had to fix something for me and slammed the closed sign down in front of me. I will never go back.

I’m ngl I only gave them a two because Iknow they can do so much better. But the food was really bad 😭, how do you mess up the basics. I’m sorry to leave this review but literally had to throw away $50 worth of food 🥲. I really had high hopes, unfortunately was let down.

Ordered 5 meals for delivery. Food was delivered promptly. Order fot Crispy Noodles and beef had no beef. Order for Hunan Chicken was not delivered. Instead we received an order that appeared to be Hunan Beef but there was nothing spicy about it. In fact all of the food was bland and almost tasteless.

I ordered 3 egg rolls based on reviews of this place. It was on my drive home. I got there 10 mins after I ordered, like they said. The egg rolls were fried so hard and brown that we could not bite them . We had to scoop out the filling to eat it. It appears they cook the egg rolls then fry them again to warm them up!

I went based on the good reviews. Well, this wasn't the same place in the reviews. I would have missed it had I not used GPS. Old building without any recognition of it being a restaurant with the exception of a small, barely readable sign on a pole. Inside was old and drab and the only person there was an employee(?) sitting at a table playing with his phone. We stood in front of him unnoticed for some time so I spoke up. He seemed startled but got up and seated us at a table next to a full trash can and a window with live and dead flies on the sill. We almost left then but decided to try hoping the food was going to make up for it. We ordered the fried pork dumpling appetizer. The pork inside was a little pink so we didn't finish. We also ordered the crispy duck and the ginger duck (again, per other reviews). The crispy duck had no flavor and mostly really dry. The sauce or the ginger duck was actually good but the duck was the same minus any crispy skin. All the while we kept swatting at the flies buzzing around the table. Normally I wouldn't have been as accommodating or patient... we saw it through a half-eaten plate and decided it was time to get the check and leave without any intention of returning. I can't in good conscience recommend this place.

First off let me premise this review by saying the food is very good and the restaurant is clean. That being said my experience was excellent until I used a gift card to pay on my last visit July 1st. The first card I used said declined but it pre authorized the card for the amount which deducted from my gift card balance . I used a second gift card from the same company and it was approved. I brought up my concern to the host and he said oh it will go back on the card . Well it's a full week later and the funds are still in a holding pattern . I even stopped just to talk to the host about this matter and he said it's the gift card companies problem not his. Never offered anything. So at this time I won't be frequenting this establishment anymore . They clearly can see they charged me twice and just say wait. I waited and now I'll spend my local dollars somewhere else. Treat people better . Especially locals who live in the neighborhood.

We ordered orange chicken and general TSO chicken. Both bland. The chicken tasted like it was microwaved, very chewy, not that crunchy coating. No signage for extra charges, but apparently fried rice, which was also tasteless, is $1 more. We ordered water. Then Mom asked for tea, he charged both of us for tea. And she said it was bitter, she could only dip twice. The egg roll with the lunch was over done, burned almost. This was the worst Chinese food I've ever tasted. Mom said this used to be the best Chinese food in Wheeling. So disappointing.

The food was fine but the guy with the glasses was quite rude and I will never go back.

1st time there and I had Cheese burger and fries. And my Girl had a western omelette, all was Terrific! Large portions, great prices! Friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend…..

We went there for breakfast today...this is a family diner.One of us got 2 eggs, home fries and sausage...it was cooked to order, hot, and quick. Two of us ask for a "mix" which was of the menu..and they quickly said yes...it was a mix of eggs, sausage, bacon, onions, peppers, home fries, and cheese...it came out hot and fresh...it was goodddd...and it all at a great price...

Found this spot at random on our way from Pittsburgh to Cincinnati. We both got huge breakfast platters and coffee and it was around $20! Food and service were fabulous :)

Today was my 1st time visitng this cute diner...even though I've said I would stop for years. The food was incredible & reasonably priced. The Breakfast Wrap was absolutely delicious. Service was amazing & everyone was super friendly. There was a whole hockey team there for breakfast & the staff were on point, checking on us. I can't wait to try one of their lunch options next. Everything was 5 stars across the board!

Bought a two-tiered cake for my daughter 1/31/2021, for her second birthday, and a single (smash) cake because she was cheated with dry nasty cake at her first birthday that a family member made, this was by far the best cake I’ve ever bought, a great experience, she did everything I wanted and was so helpful and kind! The cake was delicious, moist and good flavors, she will definitely be making all my other cakes! Good prices and communication!

Been here about a dozen times in 5 years. Very friendly environment and I always see law enforcement in there (south Wheeling). Good prices and very tasty food! I usually take a friend along. Rear parking is sometimes limited but plenty of street parking. Centrally located.

Didn't really want an extra side but wasn't given a choice really.

Worst experience at this location I've had. Overdone nugs, they gave us 0 sauces for the 20$ box! Called the store,it rang the first time someone picked up and then hung up, then tried several more times and no answer. Will not be back. Probably will just make my own fried chicken from now on. Waste of money, time, and gas.

Got food there on 8.4.25. We went through the drive thru. No customers in the store. Placed our order, paid for it, went home. At home I discovered that my order was wrong and stale. My fries had to come from the very bottom of the last batch, fried the day before. The biscuit was hard and I got crispy, instead of original! There was confusion at the checkout, but a young lady came to the window and settled the issue! The only thing that was done to satisfaction was the coleslaw! Better off going to Chic Fil A!

Food was good people were good I really enjoyed it last night I ate the 4pc dark with mash and gravy with Mac n cheese and food was great the lobby is cleaned bathrooms cleaned really is a good restaurant to eat the service was perfect I will advise to eat here and try it out.

I usually don't have a problem here but the last 2 times I went I ordered a double cheeseburger but only got one patty... ordered cinni minis and didn't get icing. Went back to get the order fixed, would be zero percent surprised if the woman spit in it.

Honestly I used to despise BK.. ever since the Island opened 24/7 it's become my go to ff. Prices are a bit extreme but the service for the last 3 months has been outstanding. The window cashier has been wonderful every time day or night. The food has been fresh and made exactly as it should be. Not a sloppy grease pile thrown into a wrapper like it used to be. And not once have I had to pull around and wait even at 2am which is very surprising given I had never been thru and not had to wait for something. That being because my son always orders some type of chicken. Even without the wait it's been hot and fresh. There is one girl who works late night I think is excellent at her job. The manager lady the same. Honestly I just love the crews they've had the last few months. They do a superb job and actually seem to appreciate their job. Thank you!!

Just went through the drive thru. Ordered a double whopper and when I got to my destination I opened my bag and my sandwich only had a bottom bun two slices of onion and two pickles on it nothing else plus the meat was bent sideways. The guy by the name John was the one making my sandwich. I only knew that because of the other man running the drive thru called out to him and I beleive he did something to my sandwich. . Was very disappointed . It was not edible at all.

I usually don’t have super high expectations for Burger King but my god this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. My husband wasn’t even done ordering & Patricia cut my husband off & gave him the total. Rude! We ordered two 8 piece chicken fries with honey mustard. The bag says exactly that but that’s not even what we received. 😒 We got one order of the 8 piece chicken fries and two orders of some cheese bite things with sweet & sour sauce. I’m so confused as to how you can even mess that up but w.e. Also she seriously needs to work on her customer service or just work in the kitchen. I experienced the Gen Z stare for the first time… It was like nobody was home. 🫠

20 years ago we joked about fast food being fake. This breakfast sandwich is definitely fake food. Even my dog won't eat it

Just wanna shout out Rahsheem(think I spelled it right) this kid is fantastic. He's very kind, well mannered, and a hard worker. His parents should be very proud of him and burger king should promote/give him a raise.

Not a huge deal, but 95% of the times I have been there, it doesn't matter if your the ONLY car in the drive thru, they ask you to pull around and wait by the doors. It's just strange. There is always random people hanging out around the building and/or in the parking lot.

No place to park to look at. Statue was stolen, restored and looked great. City said they would upkeep it but just another lie. Lighted but burned out and turning green!! City don't seem to care.

Had no clue what this was for when I moved here. Pretty neat story. Other than that, it’s a statue.

Visited the Candy Store. I have been to many candy stores in other states.. this one stands out because it serves ice cream as well... Nice bonus!

What a charming little hidden gem. Had a fabulous day here. We went for lunch, then stayed for hours looking at all the treasures in the nearby shops. Highly recommend.

This market has a lot of history in the city. You’ll find a combination of small businesses between food and crafts as well as homemade goods for sale. It has a unique blend of an open-air market, though it’s all under roof and behind glass except for businesses with window panes that open to outside. It is non-smoking, and there are several seating areas as well as restrooms.

We love this place. It’s wonderful to mix well thought out grocery items with locally grown produce. The added art and curated goods are lovely too. It’s truly a wonderful place that communicates well with their patrons and has a genuine interest in providing groceries and items their customers want. The market skews toward more healthy, organic, and locally produced items which is a huge positive and should be applauded. But with that comes less wholesale and large box purchase options that bring prices down, so it’s a more expensive way to shop for groceries and something our family can’t afford to do very often despite wanting to support this fabulous place. We hope to continue to try and visit the Wheeling Centre Market for local produce, gift items, and more as we can! More people should visit and purchase great items from the Wheeling Centre Market and that may help ensure affordable prices alongside great products for all and support a place that is thoughtful and intentional with the curation of their products.

Went on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Most of the street shops were closed which was disappointing. Centre Market itself was also pretty disappointing. First off it was filthy, the dining tables appeared to be left dirty from 1979, the floor was so nasty my Service Dog wouldn't lay under the table and I didn't make her!! We had lunch at Colemans Fish Market. Another loser!! It too was filthy, the floor had not been cleaned in weeks!! They had not been open long so no excuse for that. Coleman food was worse than the appearance of the establishment. 18.75$$ for 2 greasy fish sandwiches on smashed, stale, wonder bread.. Really Colemans?? We ended up trashing that nasty lunch!! I will not be back!!

First time eating there the other night while visiting the casino. Bartender was friendly, food prices and quality were good as well. They were out of a popular cider I would have liked to try, but he said that’s usually not the case.

Unique and bold dishes mixed with all of your standard brew pub choices, with a few interesting options available as well. We were greeted and given great details on all of the menu items. Very cool spot and fun atmosphere. We would love to stop in again. We had alligator tacos and meatloaf sandwich topped with kimchi and pork loin BBQ nachos to start. The only downside and it was COVID related I believe, was no beer flights were available.

Large selection of their own great brews on tap, and several offerings of bottles and cans from WV and out-of-state breweries. Friendly and attentive service, too!

Ordered the Uptown Girl pizza and got a flight. Several really good beers, and the food was excellent! The sour and the Nail City Porter were my personal favorites, but friends with me also loved the Baltic Porter! Ended up filling a growler with the Nail City and just finished it off, can't complain! Really good stuff, and the staff was awesome the whole time we were there. The chef came out and talked with us, was super friendly and obviously proud of his food. We will be back at some point even though it's quite the drive for us!

Enjoyed the urban rustic vibe and excellent beers. The Kimchi, vegetables and chicken, was tasty and the Nail City Porter was rich and malty. Awesome service too!!

This place is absolutely magical. I just have a wonderful time every time I visit and these two beauties had been staring me in the face for the past 2 years. It was like it was meant to be. This place was amazing! We stopped on our way out to Ohio & I’m so glad we did. It’s 3 floors packed with everything imaginable, & we had so much fun looking through it all. The staff was great, I cannot remember the name of the wonderful lady who checked us out & we talked to for a while but she said she only worked on tuesdays! Not to mention bunny the cat is an amazing employee as well, he popped up everywhere for some scratches. It made my day!

This is the best place to go for antiques, furniture, and of course used books. The second floor has a spot with an amazing selection of used books in great condition for a reasonable price. I also love looking around and seeing all of the random items you might not expect to find. If you like making fairy gardens you can find a lot of beautiful and unique fairy garden accessories and planters.

Building is a bit run down but it's a very fun and cute place to shop. Staff are all very helpful and kind. Kind of a massive treasure hunt, though some prices are a bit high. But the store is ran by a bunch of smaller vendors so it's sort of like a 2nd hand store mall.

Don’t know how the food is, I never got it. Waited, then called the store, got an endless amount of hold messages, then the manager (who did not seem to care) said they gave it to a door dash guy. Apparently they know that most people don’t get their food, because he offered to remake it and have one of their drivers deliver it to me. Never had this kind of experience with papa John’s, but won’t have it again no matter where I travel. Done with them.

3 men standing around didn't acknowledge my husband waiting on the food then just sat it down and said nothing to him continued to talk to.each other.. RUDE customer service right there

Pizza was quick on the delivery however the short amount of time why was pizza cold? It tasted stale. I’m kind of wondering also if this location has its own drivers or do they use a delivery service. If it that’s the case a delivery service is not equipped for pizza.

The food is always good. The service is always slow. If there is a set pickup order, it is usually 10 minutes late. There is also a constant stream of people going in and out of the small shop, which can get annoying and crowded at times. The biggest problem is that they only have one pizza oven. If they had more, they could produce more people.

Neither the pizza or cheesy bread were cooked both had an inch of cheese in the middle. I'm pretty sure a 6 year old could construct a better pizza.

01/04/24 3 pizza order online. 20 mins I show up. Told 20 more mins. I wait. Come back in and am told more time because the pizzas are still in the oven?!! The manager did apologize for the long wait.

So I really hate to complain about a ten-dollar pizza but I just had the new cheese burger pizza and it was terrible its supposed to have this cheeseburger sauce and I tasted nothing. As a matter of fact other than the pickles on it the pizza had no smell or taste. Maybe its just this location. 20 years ago East of Chicago had a cheeseburger pizza and it was amazing. I may try a different location before I rule it out.

My family has spent Easter at Oglebay every year for over 20 years. What made this place so special was the peaceful setting, the beautiful deer roaming the property, and the warm traditions like the Good Friday wine and cheese reception. Sadly, most of that is now gone. The deer—who were friendly and a joy to see—have been killed off in managed hunts. They say it was for population control, but for longtime guests like us, it feels like they’ve erased one of the most memorable parts of what made Oglebay magical. The hills are empty now, and the connection to nature we used to feel is lost. They also quietly canceled the Good Friday reception years ago. It used to be a festive kickoff to the weekend with wine, cheese, face painting, and balloon animals for the kids. It was part of the charm. Now, that’s gone too. Oglebay used to feel like home—a place that honored tradition and families who returned year after year. It doesn’t feel that way anymore.

We spent the entire day here, there is so much to do! Hikes, lakes, waterfalls, mini-golf, boats, pool, everything! Great place to bring kids and family.

We love attending during the Festival of Lights! Gorgeous light show outside of the mansion that coincides with the music. Lit up flowers all along the path in front of the shops, and leading up to the mansion. Gorgeous flowers in the greenhouse and lots of pretty photos to take. Photo ops outside hanging within the village area. What can I say about the nativity? It is absolutely gorgeous! A sight to see in itself. Don’t forget to stop in the glass center and see all of the lovely works of art. The ice cream shop next-door has some fun items that can be purchased. The Festival of Lights has been an ongoing thing for many, many years that we always enjoy taking our children to. I hope that it is able to keep up for many years to come.

We enjoyed the festival of lights. A lot to see and great Christmas experience. Best thing is that you donate once and you can visit the entire season with the pass they give you.

I took my kids to see the Christmas lights there twice this year. I would highly recommend it.

The owners are so kind and actively engaged with each person who enters. They have unique and fun items for kids and adults alike.

I was so excited to finally stop in the other day and I am so happy that I did. I needed a birthday gift and Libby was extremely helpful in showing us age appropriate gifts. The store has a great selection of science related items from science kits, collectible fossils and rocks, books, stuffed animals, and other toys and interesting things. This place is a great addition to the community and I hope it's around for many years to come. I cannot wait to bring my son in and see his face light up with excitement at all the fun stuff you guys carry.

If you like dinosaurs, fossils, and crystals, you should go here. It was incredible place to stop.The owners were incredibly nice, even helped carry things to my car for me. If I'm back in the area I will be stopping again.

i’m torn that i couldn’t even enjoy myself here because apparently the chairs are “just for adults????”.even though , i’ve went there many times and it’s never been a problem. there was many more other chairs open but me sitting in one was a problem?… there was barely anyone there anyways. if that’s the case, i will never go here again because of that stupid reason.

Went to the car show in my hometown, totally awesome some really great cars, got to see my cousin and her husband, and a few of my old friends I really enjoyed it!

Open, playground, fairly clean, community pool, baseball field, lots of shaded areas, gazebo, benches, nice walkways.

Great ball fields with concessions! Parking is limited. Would not want to live in those neighborhoods because of the influx of additional cars parked in front of people's homes,- especially on the weekends.

Today was the last day I will step foot in this shop. Through the years, my husband and I have purchased hundreds of dollars worth of Merchandise here but on at least three occasions we have experienced very surly, almost hostile customer service. Today I was here with my young son. As we made our way to pay, i was told neither of my items could be paid by card (some vendors allow it and some not). I had enough cash for one so I asked to only take one. The clerk replies:“what? Don’t you have a check!?!” She then was obviously pained about having to write out a new receipt. She then yelled at my son to not touch the cheap little candy canes that were in a basket on the counter (apparently free to customers) i could excuse this as an off day but the same clerk (elderly lady with glasses and short gray hair) has been rude to me or my husband or my friends on multiple occasions. There are other much nicer antique shops in the areas. Fortunately you won’t miss much skipping this one.

I enjoyed walking through the store and having light conversation with the people up front. It was a nice morning stop after coffee. For those of you who love to post negative reviews - stay home. You're miserable. Let people like me enjoy this fine store.

The people that work there are incredibly rude. My boyfriend and I have visited several times and always made purchases - even spending a few hundred dollars. Our last visit we had driven all the way down from Pittsburgh and I needed to use the restroom but was told there wasn’t one. (There is one on the top floor) I understand restrooms only being for customers but sheesh do I need to make a purchase BEFORE I can pee? I asked to see something from the case and was asked by the woman behind the counter “are you sure you want to see it they’re very expensive?” I asked how much and she said $30 -$60 🥴 very condescending and horrible customer service. Needless to say we will not be returning.

Great place!! Didn't look at reviews until I went to leave this... No ladies bothered us...lol We picked up an old cooking book & a micro-mini fully functional gas lighter, talk about conversation pieces...lol May not be your thing but we were glad to find them. Lots to look at for these out of staters.

Changed my mind on a $11 item and staff rebuked me for "wasteing her sales slip". Walked out on the $35 baking powder tin I was going to buy. I buy antiques all over Virginia, Eastern North Carolina and West Virginia because I enjoy it. This was definitely not an enjoyable experience. Shocked at the rudeness. Will not be back.

We always find buys at this store. Lots of critics of staff here. We couldn't disagree more. The young lady we dealt with on a visit this week was very pleasant. She gave us a good laugh after she showed us some Christmas ornaments. We bought one shaped like a strawberry. The lady expressed her interest in this one. At checkup she pulled up her pant leg to show us a strawberry tattoo on her calf. I can't imagine eating at Coleman Fish Market and then not going across the street to this store. This street is historic and a Wheeling treasure.

I love vintage Christmas stuff and what they have is right up my alley. So that is where the one star comes from. The real story is the two old women that are behind the counter. I have never seen such sour people run a business in my life. We were treated like unwanted guests. It was to the point it was comical how rude and unfriendly they were. I think the ghosts from A Christmas Carol need to pay them a visit this year.
