The Saint Louis Science Center, established in 1963, offers a range of educational and entertaining experiences for visitors. It is one of the largest science centers globally and provides free general admission to all. Visitors can explore interactive exhibits at The Discovery Room, learn about the human body at Body Worlds 3, and enjoy live star shows at the planetarium. Additionally, there are opportunities for overnight camping experiences for children and their companions.
The Science Center is very fun and educational. I love all the interactive exhibits they have. The admission is free! There is a free parking lot at the Forest Park entrance and you can find free street parking at either entrance. Every time we go we spend 2-3 hours there. If you only plan on going once, I would definitely plan on being there more than 3 hours.

Nice experience. Several areas for kids. Lots of interactive exhibits. Very kid friendly. Clean. Modern. Vibrant and bright. Friendly staff. Food available. Nice museum! To be honest, not as great as the Minnesota Science Museum in St. Paul, MN, nor close in comparison to the Chicago Science Museum. Both of those museums are outstanding!! Yet, if you are looking for something fun and educational to do with the kids while in St. Louis is would recommend this as one of the top locations!!
Todd J — Google review
Great place to bring kids. They have a LOT of interactive activities for kids. They also have a couple small 'rides'. We went in their explorer pod, picking the 'roller coaster' adventure. I got outvoted, I wanted to go on the dinosaur adventure lol. Myself and 3 of the 4 kids LOVED it, including my 1 yr old. My 3 yr old nephew started to panic tho, so we had to stop the ride early. That said, there is an emergency stop button for an adult to hit, if they need to stop the ride early (like we did). They also had VR flight simulators and stuff. The food court is INSANELY expensive. Eat before you come, or bring snacks... Idk if snacks are allowed though. But if they are, bring them. The fossils are pretty cool. They do not have an assembled TRex skeleton like I had hoped to see, but they do have a big TRex for everyone to look at. We also got to see some aquatic creatures. It was fun.
Penni H — Google review
Great fun. Free admission. Parking was tricky they blocked off half of their parking lot due to tree concerns. The museum offers free parking but if full there is a second option but will cost $15. Public bathrooms are clean. We spent 3 hours just at the free sections. One can pay for The planetarium, the IMAX theater, and any other special programs. They have picnic tables outside the front door and a nice green area. Four stars just because of the parking situation.
Rachael E — Google review
Our son is a big dinosaur fan, so we decided to go before our dinner reservations on the hill. We had a great time walking around and looking at all the cool stuff. They do have a café inside serving pizza and other stuff. You can grab a beer or cider if you so choose. Good place to let your kids run off some energy, especially on a rainy day.
Rachel C — Google review
This place has free entry, please take a kid in your life! My daughter is 10 we enjoyed everything about the science 🧪 center. S/O to the “Fire it Up” science show, you really made our day! (5 ⭐️ stars)
Alex G — Google review
Visited their Pompeii exhibit. It was interesting to learn more about the cilization from 49 AD. The Science Center had alot to offer young kids and families. You could spend several hours getting through the different experiences.
Dave P — Google review
such a wonderful piece of the greater St Louis community! at a baseline, this place is fun for kids but also adults looking for a free and entertaining way to spend an evening. I've had great experiences with the available exhibits during regular hours, as well as during one of the many extra events put on for the community by this organization. The commitment of the center's employees and volunteers to not only knowing more about the world but finding a fun and accessible way to share that knowledge with those around them is obvious. I love this place

City Museum is a one-of-a-kind attraction that combines art installation, playground, and discovery center all in one. Housed in a massive 600,000 square-foot former shoe company building, this museum is the result of local artists' creativity and resourcefulness. It features an array of found objects such as old chimneys, salvaged bridges, construction cranes, miles of tile, and even abandoned airplanes.
This is the best museum I've ever been to! Words can't describe what it truly is. There had to been over 50 slides easily. Even an 8 story slide!! Awesome fun for kids and adults. Pinball hall was nostalgic. Lots of crazy art and sculptures everywhere. Food places throughout. We didn't pay extra for the roof experience and I'm glad we didn't because we couldn't even finish the entire inside in about 4 hours. Definitely plan a whole day here. It really is a one of a kind experience. If you come to St. Louis do not pass this up. There is something for everyone.
Sean M — Google review
100% worth the money and the trip. Up to you if you pay the extra to go to the rooftop, its cool but so much to do on the other 4 floors even without it! My niece and nephew had a blast. I do advise packing some headlamp lights if you have them from camping (if I would have known i would have brought our from home -Indy) Im a bigger women 280s and couldn't fit everywhere but plenty of places to explore with the kids and had a blast and adventure with them. We would go back again and again. For the price, I bought the yearly pass (came with 2 extra tickets for this year - covered all 4 of us) for the kids and we hope to come back and will just have to pay for 2 tickets if we make it back.
Teoda T — Google review
What a neat museum! The kids LOVED climbing and crawling through the numerous tunnels. We paid to go onto the roof but didn't think that was necessarily worth the extra cost based on our interests. Some of the climbing tunnels were tricky for my 11 year old because he's getting so tall and his feet are too big to fit in some of the spaces for better footing. He still had a blast though. You could easily spend a whole day here. We got flatbread pizza and it was delicious! The flesh eating fish were a favorite for my family. The floor with the vault room had a nasty smell that made us rush to another area but other than that we really enjoyed our visit.
Mindy H — Google review
My kids 6 & 8 loved City Museum!! My 6 year old is a big climber and she was in heaven! Nearly every floor had a unique climbing opportunity for her. The caves, treehouse, and Monstro-City were the biggest hits with our crew. My 8 year old loved the tunnels on the first floor. He had a great time squeezing into small spaces and seeing where he came out. We spent 7 hours and did everything except the new Labyrinth area. It is definitely a full day activity. If we lived here, we would be back often! Knee pads were a great suggestion. Our only issue was the 2nd floor restaurant got behind at lunchtime and we had to wait 30min for our food. The restaurant staff was struggling and their attitude did not reflect good customer service.

100/10 by far the best most amazing place we have ever visited. There was soooo much to do and see and discover. It was a mind blowing experience and was worth way more than what we paid for it. Is extremely kid friendly and I would even say your kids could and will get lost in the tunnels. Is so worth it though. There is an entire cave system and plenty to climb on and through. A free circus show was included as well. Highly recommend!!!
Paradise W — Google review
So fun! Our kids (4-8) could have spent hours here. As an adult there’s a lot of places I don’t fit but this would have been a dream for me as a kid. So many places to climb and explore. If you have young toddlers it will probably feel like a nightmare to keep track of them though because some tunnels you don’t know where they go. I think 4, almost 5 is the right age to be able to let them loose, especially if they have an older sibling to follow around. We did the ultimate combo which included the rooftop and the pinball hall. That was not really necessary. For some reason I thought the pinball hall was something more imaginative then just 20 pinball machines in a little roped off area- it’s not. And half of them didn’t work. Even if you love pinball I’m guessing there are more fun places to do that. The rooftop is alright- there’s a few slides open (and a few were closed) and a precarious Ferris wheel (that I’m sure was safe but made me nervous) but it was very hot and I’m not sure worth the extra cost- the kids would have had plenty of fun in the main building and still wouldn’t have gotten bored. I would recommend the standard ticket unless you just really want to go to the roof. Also- don’t miss the circus show!
Brittany S — Google review
Where to even begin. This place was SO freaking awesome. I think you could go over and over and still not experience everything! Lots of climbing and crawling involved so be aware of that. Also skip a bag if you can! We had a great cocktail upon arrival and then explored.
Ashlee R — Google review
Wow! This place is absolutely mind blowing! Never seen anything like it!! Would love to go again! Heads up they are card only throughout the building but they have machines where you can turn cash into a visa card that can be used anywhere. I read reviews before coming so I was mentally prepared for some craziness and it absolutely was. You will immediately lose your child but they'll have an absolute blast! The sooner you accept this the more fun everyone can have. Have a plan for how to find each other or where to meet. They also provide a spot for your phone number on the wrist bands, absolutely fill it out. I brought my 9 yo and 3 month old. It's possible to get around with a stroller but slightly tight and complicated in certain areas. The elevators tend to be pretty busy. A small umbrella stroller would have worked out better then a large jogging stroller etc. There are plenty of bars with great drink options throughout the building, have one (or a few)! This place is absolutely sensory overload but we're creating core memories here! There's also a few food and snacks options but I recommend bringing snacks, you will be here a long time if you want to see/do it all (or most of it). We spent about 7 hours there! Have your kiddos bring a flash light for crawling through the caves indoors if they are afraid of the dark. They also sell cute little head lamps in the gift shop. Highly recommend paying the extra amount for the roof top playground area the view is absolutely amazing and it feels like more of a laid back vibe up there for when the inside becomes too much. The sunset from the top of the building is stunning. Amazing views. If you have kiddos that scare easy I recommend waiting till after their Halloween festivities are over. The decor is a little on the creepy side for little or more sensative kids. My kiddo wanted to avoid the whole third floor after walking through and seeing the Halloween decor there. Overall had an amazing time and my kiddo and myself both left hoping to come back again sometime!

Forest Park, established in 1876, spans over 1,300 acres and is located between the neighborhoods of Clayton and the Central West End. The park offers a variety of attractions including museums, a zoo, athletic fields, and golf courses. Visitors can explore verdant hills, woodland walks, sculpture gardens like Turtle Park, and picnic on Picnic Island. The park also features waterways such as the River des Peres with fountains and water features like the Cascades.
As a New Yorker, this place reminded me as an upper class Central Park but honestly there's no comparison. This place is absolutely breathtaking, from the variety of trees/gardens, mini waterfall and fountains to the golfing spaces, it's easy to walk around the park and experience different emotions all while getting a good work out, without feeling like you're working out! Also unlike NY, you have ample of free parking.

Forest park - A gorgeous green urban oasis with beautiful landscapes, ponds, fountains, museums, boat house, zoo and so much more. Art Hill and Grand Basin are some of the favorite photo shoot locations in Forest Park and best place to have picnics in summers and sled in winters!

This is a beautiful park at St Louis. Has a great walking path. Also has a large water area, where people were paddle boating. Well maintained lawn throughout to sit and relax. Would def recommend this place if you are looking for a place to relax. It also has lots of benches in shade.
Nidhi K — Google review
Forest Park is hands down one of the best spots in St. Louis! It’s huge, beautiful, and has something for everyone , walking trails, lakes, museums, golf, and so many peaceful spots to just relax. You can spend hours here and still find something new every time. Whether you’re biking, picnicking, or just catching a sunset by the water, the views are always stunning. Plus, it’s super clean and well-kept. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in STL, it’s the heart of the city for a reason!

Wow, what an incredible park! We spent a day volunteering, picking up trash across these beautiful trails and scenery. Can't wait to go back to explore the zoo and museums.

What a great place to spend the day! Did a 10K walk on a Sunday! Plenty of tracks, availability of restrooms and water points around the park! a lot of free attractions such as Museum and Zoo! ! It is definitely worth the visit !

There is so much to say about this park, from the zoo which is free to the museums and sports activities. Tonights free concert by the Saint Louis set at the foot of the Art Museum was fabulous. The fireworks at the end were quite a finale.

Great paths for walking a truly lovely park. The damage from the recent tornado was evident, but not catastrophic. The park and the vast majority of its trees persist. Lovely fall colors this time of year.

Nestled in a beautifully restored 1896 building near the Missouri Civil War Museum, the Jefferson Barracks Telephone Museum offers a captivating journey through nearly 150 years of telephonic history. From operator switchboards dating back to the 1920s and 1960s to military telephones spanning World War I through the Gulf War, this self-guided museum showcases an extensive collection of telephones manufactured from the late 1800s to 2012.
This was so much fun! The tour was amazing and interactive. Gave our youngsters a whole new outlook on history of communications. Being that I work for a family owned call center, and my 21 year daughter does as well, it was so refreshing to share the ‘old days’ with her. Thank you so much for having this open to the public to enjoy. Highly recommend!
Amanda B — Google review
Very well stocked museum. It has every kind of phone, communication device you can think of. Their supply consists of the first car phones, pay phones, military phones, cell phones, rotary phones, phone stations for operators, box and candlestick phones, and much much more. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable on the whole telecommunications history. It was way more knowledge than I ever thought possible. Interesting place to visit, make sure you have a couple of hours to kill. They do have a gift shop to get a memento, if you'd like.
Miriam S — Google review
This museum is cheap and small. But the two guys working were very knowledgeable I'm very friendly. They have a working telephone circuit set up so that you can make rotary dialed calls between two telephones, my travel companion had never used a rotary phone before so that was kind of fun.
Mandi ( — Google review
When someone suggested our residents visit the Telephone Museum, we weren’t sure to dial up in our expectations—but it was off the hook! Our residents loved it, and Dolan Memory Care Homes gives it a ringing endorsement!
Bill D — Google review
I went in not really knowing what to expect. So glad we dropped by this really was a neat museum. Tour guide did an amazing job showing us all of the historical phones, switch boards tools and old technology. They have working rotary pulse phones and switch boards and old switching machines that function to show your kids. They will be fascinated just watching these machines work. Worth a visit!
Brian M — Google review
We went here with my family over Memorial Day weekend, and we were happy they were open on Sunday. My father is retired from the phone company, so he had a great time seeing some of the older technology. We enjoyed it, and they had a working stepping switch system that they turned on, and my 11 year old daughter was able to call the operator using a pulse dial, get patched through to another line, etc. It is a great way to spend an hour if you have a casual interest. They really did a good job with keeping everything well displayed and in working order. Many smaller museums like this really struggle to keep everything working and tidy, but the telephone museum was on point.
Charles C — Google review
My family and I went to the Jefferson Barracks Telephone Museum in June 2024. The space is well laid out with lots of cool artifacts. They have phones from the very beginning to early cellular. They have a working switchboard. The lady that runs the place gave us a tour that took about an hour. It was very interactive and informative. She included my 7 year old in all of the discussions and interactions. I have never been to a better small museum. It was more than worth the small entry fee charged!
Samantha S — Google review
From the moment you enter the fully restored 1896 National Register of Historic Places building, located in the historic Jefferson Barracks Park----you will learn, possibly reminisce, respect, & admire this museum's contents. A "hidden gem" that I am so glad we included in our St. Louis itinerary!!! Both Carol & Craig welcomed us at the door. Another young couple with a little girl joined us for a "guided tour"---adeptly executed by Craig!!! The immaculately clean, perfectly arranged displays, many within wonderful glass enclosures, told the story of an array of phones manufactured from the late 1800's through 2012. We watched & participated when Craig showed us how to operate a Central Office Step Switch & switchboards from the 1920's, 1940's, & 1960's. We were impressed with the displays of military phones from WWI through the Gulf War; as well as, the variety of telephone-related climbing equipment, tools & memorabilia from the 1880's through the 2000s. The couple with us found "relative's names" in an old phone book!!! The little girl LOVED the huge display of novelty phones----shaped like a tennis shoe, Snoopy, a hamburger or hot dog, Garfield, Kermit the Frog, french fries----and on & on!!!!!! I remember the wooden box phone on the wall at my grandparent's farm house----as well as, the dreadfully invasive "party line"!!! I remember the land line phone in our home, with my brother "listening into my phone conversations"---using the "princess phone" in my parent's bedroom!! I remember when the land line phones became "cordless"----AN ABSOLUTE REVELATION!!!! Craig's treasure-trove of knowledge, execution & inclusion made the tour FABULOUS!!! WE LOVED THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE!!!! It will be the best $5.00 you ever spent!!! Many, many thanks to everyone involved for sharing this "unique treasure"!!!!

The Gateway Arch stands as a monumental tribute to the expansion of the American West, soaring 630 feet into the sky. A visit to this iconic landmark is not complete without ascending to its apex, where breathtaking views of St. Louis and the Mississippi River await. The enclosed tram ride offers a unique journey to the Observation Deck, providing panoramic vistas that stretch up to 30 miles in all directions on clear days.
The Museum at the Gateway Arch is fantastic. I absolutely loved it. It is super cool, very clean, well put together, and overall a wonderful experience. It had been a while since I had gone to the top, and the whole experience is completely different now. The museum does an excellent job of walking you through the competition for the design, the history, and the unbelievable engineering that went into creating the Arch. You walk away with a new appreciation for how this iconic monument was even possible. The ride to the top is about three minutes. I am claustrophobic myself, but it was absolutely doable, and so worth it. Once you’re up there and looking out those windows, you understand immediately why people line up to do it. The Arch is an architectural marvel, and this museum helps you grasp just how incredible it really is. I highly recommend visiting. I will make it a point to come back every time I’m in Saint Louis.
Clinton W — Google review
The museum was very educational and informative and enjoyable. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the displays were laid out well. The tram ride to the top of the Arch was a unique experience too (not for the claustrophobic for sure). The time at the top is just about right, you take pictures out both sides (although the Illinois view is a bit bland). The tram ride down is a bit quicker and then you climb the stairs and head out right at the base the Arch for more pictures.
Sasnak 6 — Google review
The Gateway Arch is an architectural wonder and true marvel—absolutely breathtaking up close. The way the sunlight glints off its sleek, curved metal exterior is stunning, and those tiny observation windows near the top are barely visible from the ground, adding to its mystery and beauty. Once inside, the tram ride to the top is a one-of-a-kind experience. The small, capsule-like pods are definitely close quarters—so if you're claustrophobic or afraid of heights, it may be a challenge. That said, I found it comforting that there are windows in the tram doors, and I could see the emergency staircase the entire way up. The motion of ascending and curving over with the structure was unlike anything I’ve ever done. At the top—wow. The observation area is smaller than I expected, and yes, you can feel a gentle sway. But that only added to the thrill! We were lucky to visit on a clear, sunny day, and the views were absolutely spectacular—panoramic scenes of St. Louis and the Mississippi River. Afterward, we relaxed on the lawn beneath the Arch, looking up in awe and snapping some of our favorite photos of the day. Truly an unforgettable experience!

We decided to check out the St. Louis Arch and went all the way to the top. The ride up is definitely an experience — you’re crammed into a small capsule with 4 or 5 other people and there’s absolutely no view on the way up. If you’re claustrophobic, I wouldn’t recommend it. Once at the top, you get about 10–14 minutes to look around. Honestly, that’s all you need — the view is nice, but it’s a quick visit. The area below ground was actually more interesting to me. There’s a museum with a lot of history and facts about the arch and the area. One important thing to note: St. Louis outside the downtown/tourist area can feel very rough. We accidentally took a wrong exit and ended up in a not-so-great neighborhood — and that’s coming from someone who grew up in a tough city. Stick to the main paths, and plan your route carefully. Overall, worth doing once for the experience, but be prepared and know what to expect.

We had a wonderful time with a FABULOUS 17 years young host. She was peppy, fun and funny! She is beyond her years and so sweet. She made the whole experience wonderful. She's a beautiful African American woman with short hair. I can't remember her name but she was PHENOMENAL! The views were great and we had fun on the ride too.

Started out with coffee at the Arch watching the sun rise. The park surrounding the Arch was busy with people jogging and walking the trails all throughout the park . Great views by the river and amazing views in the green zones in the park. Took the tour to the top of the Archand it was awesome. Amazing views and awesome history. If you're up for a great adventure into history with amazing views this is truly a place for your things to visit.

This was our first visit to the Gateway Arch so we purchased tickets to do everything including the boat ride. We also purchased the suggested parking package for 5 hours at the Stadium East garage. Maybe if the parking were 6 hours instead of 5 that would have been perfect! We did have enough time to do all the activities as scheduled, but that didn't leave us enough time to explore the museum. I wish we had enough time to go back, but not sure when we'll make it back to Missouri. If we had enough time to see everything this would be 5 stars. We really enjoyed the tram ride and the documentary movie. The virtual reality movie was a cool experience. The website talks about 6 flights of stairs for the tram ride so we were worried about our 80+ parents doing that. It's 3 flights down, then 3 flights up so in hind sight they probably could have done it. The customer service at the Arch was wonderful. They promptly answered questions I had emailed them, and when I had to call to make changes to our tickets (due to one travel party member's medical issue) they handled it quickly and easily.

It is a great place to visit, always clean and the very friendly staff. I like going on the tram or riverfront boat although you can also enjoy a movie or explore the museum. You can also take the helicopter ride for a complete visit from the air.

The Moto Museum is a private collection of rare and vintage European motorcycles with paid guided tours available. The museum has restored bikes from over 20 countries dating back to the early 1900s.
Definitely one of the coolest wedding reception venues I’ve been to! I loved wandering around and admiring the motorcycles. The atmosphere was great, and it was definitely a picture-perfect spot.
Brianna J — Google review
First of all, special thanks and congratulations to the owner for the collection. Checked out The Moto Museum recently and it's definitely more of a cool spot for events than a traditional bike museum. The best part? It's free to get in, which is pretty awesome. They've got some neat motorcycles to look at, but the vibe is definitely geared more towards hosting parties and gatherings than just showcasing bikes. If you're a hardcore motorcycle fan, you might find the collection a bit light, but if you're in the area and got some time to kill, it's worth a quick look. Just don't expect a deep dive into motorcycle history – think of it more as a casual stop with a side of bike appreciation.

Very nice venue. The horderves and food were good. The bikes are so cool. Cool place.
Toppsgilby — Google review
Tons of vintage bikes! We stopped here for the DGR in 2019. What an amazing place! Motorcycles from all different eras and countries. You could easily spend a few hours in here. Each bike has interesting information posted next them. The venue is well lit and clean. This would be a great place to hold a party or off property business meeting. There's a restaurant here as well. To top it off, if you get bit with the need to get on a motorcycle of your own, you can go next door and buy one! I recommend those bitten by the motorcycle bug visit with their significant other. That way, there's less explaining to do when you buy that Diavel or Rocket 3 or Duke or even a scooter!

We had our wedding here. Best decision we made! From our first tour, we were sold. Not only was the space cool and unique, the event team was by far the best, most personable and most accommodating we met. Our coordinator Steve sealed the deal and made our event perfect! Anything we asked, he was accommodating to. Colleen was also fabulous, couldn't have asked for a better team. Day of, our wedding was amazing, to see how they transformed the space was breathtaking, they truly brought my (our) vision to life. While the space is obviously filled with motorcycles, it's amazing how they were able to transform the space to make it what we wanted. Everyone raved about the food and the event staff made sure everything was perfect and attended to all our needs the night of...no matter the request. Seriously would recommend this space and team to anyone

As a motorcycle enthusiast, I absolutely loved this museum. There's a wonderful variety of motorcycles from all throughout the 20th and 21st centuries from several countries. The founder and collector, Mr. Steve Smith, did a great job with this facility and I enjoyed the information on the placards explaining the history of the bike and story of how Mr. Smith acquired the bike.
Julia — Google review
The motorcycles are given space and the collection is very good. It is almost all 20th century European. There is some serious history here. There is a great bike dealer attached that is also fun to wander around. Plenty of street parking (metered) and other places of interest close by.

We saw the most awesome movie about the human body and how sudden illness, accidents, love, dedication, new inventions, medical trials and other resources can save a life, rehabilitate a body's parts to enable an amputation of a person's leg can enable that person to ski, dance, mountain climbing and other activities. The exhibits and hands on activities are all age groups and families really have a great experience in science, crafts, history and learning

Well, we were a little late to the lazer light show and they wouldn’t let us in. We were visibly bummed out, but the man at the counter didn’t miss a beat. He immediately showed excellent customer service by offering to refund our tickets for us and then he gave us tips on how we could possibly get in to the next available show. They didn’t have to do anything for us… It wasn’t their fault that we were late. Very Cool of you Omnimax Theatre. Very Cool.

The price fair, but the movie T Rex was fuzzy n a bit of a let down. The AI scenes of the dinosaurs in nature were great but the thrills of feeling like the optical illusion of flying n swooping was only during the intro for the Omnimax itself. Usually they give you that in the movie scenes as well.

The James S. McDonnell Planetarium, named after James Smith McDonnell, the founder of aerospace company McDonnell Douglas, has been open to the public since 1963. Situated just north of the main science center building across Highway 40, it offers a unique experience for those fascinated by the solar system and stars. Visitors can learn about celestial bodies and enjoy stargazing from comfortable seats or even lying on yoga mats on the floor.
I have always been fascinated by our solar system. It's such a unique experience seeing the stars and the information that you can learn. I am from MN and didn't expect to learn anything new but was pleasantly surprised. Besides the seats, you are allowed to grab a yoga mat and lay on the floor to enjoy as well. They have other events hosted there as well. Recommend!

We attended a star show over the weekend and it was great! Loved the option to lay on a provided mat to really get a full experience seeing the sky dome! There isn't much to do outside of the star shows though, if you don't count the attached science museum which unfortunately had a lot of broken/non-functioning displays which hurt the experience.

St. Louis Union Station, designed by architect Theodore Link and engineer George H. Pegram, was a significant train station in its prime, serving over 100,000 passengers daily through its 32 boarding gates. The Richardsonian Romanesque Headhouse boasts the impressive Grand Hall with its high barrel vault adorned with gold leaf, frescoes, and stained glass. The Train Shed, also notable for its design by Pegram, covered thirty-two tracks and over twelve acres.
Stayed at the Hilton Curio Hotel at Union Station mid-week for a short business trip. The hotel was great with beautiful architecture, nice fitness center, and well maintained executive lounge. I explored Union Station which had a nice variety of entertainment venues including the wheel, mini-golf, Landry's Seafood, the Aquarium, other food stands, and rotating event spaces. The property is vast and it was sparsely populated during the week. Hope they get more customers because it was a pleasant environment. The main hall in the station has a nice bar and also serves small plates.

Fun, family-friendly atmosphere. This was a cool place to visit while in St. Louis - there’s a Ferris wheel (we came specifically for this), another ride or two, the aquarium, ice cream, snacks, and restaurants. The Ferris wheel is a great way to see the city - we went at night, and it was beautiful. I recommend.
John T — Google review
Overall okay, I loved the aquarium, but it lacked fun. It felt very adults only with kid themes. Unfortunately the carnival games are a scam an quite expensive 😕. The poor workers who ran the ferris wheel were wearing matching long sleeves and dying in the heat. I hope they do better

I had to pick my girlfriend up from the airport and we decided to make a date night out of it! I hadn’t been here since I was a little kid but it still looked familiar! I do remember when the mall used to be there! Everyone is super nice and there’s lots of room to walk around. We were there around 7pm & it was beautiful with all the lights! We loved the Koi pond & Ferris Wheel! Parking was only $8!

Got into town with no issues from Amtrak the ride was smooth here and there was a woman who was at the help desk who was very helpful and nice. Directed me to the local train with no issues I even went the wrong way and she was helpful to be watching the cameras and to tell me that I’m going the wrong direction lol. Not a lot of food options inside but they have a restaurant inside. I have no issues with this place at all so far on my individual experience. Hopefully my reviews are recognized.

The aquarium was AWESOME! One of the best aquariums I’ve ever been to. There were some really unique experiences and animals that you won’t get to experience/see anywhere else. Gateway Arch National Park, previously known as Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, is situated in downtown St. Louis, Missouri along the Mississippi River. This 90-acre park pays tribute to President Thomas Jefferson's role in opening up the American West and also honors Dred and Harriet Scott, an enslaved couple who sued for their freedom at the Old Courthouse.
A dream come true! Gateway Arch National Park has been on my bucket list for years, and finally seeing it in person was unforgettable. The Arch is absolutely stunning—its size, shape, and sleek stainless steel design are even more impressive up close. It’s a true architectural wonder and such a unique piece of American history. The way it curves so perfectly into the sky is mesmerizing. I couldn’t stop taking pictures from every angle! The engineering behind it is incredible, and it’s amazing how it has stood so strong and proud for decades. The museum underneath is just as impressive—very well organized, informative, and engaging. It gives you a deep understanding of the history behind the Arch and the westward expansion of the U.S. The whole park is clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. You can really feel how much care and thought went into creating and preserving this place. I’m so happy I finally visited. It’s truly a must-see!
MARYAM — Google review
Having experience with many other (meaning, bigger) national parks, I was initially skeptical about visiting this National Park. It would have been such a missed opportunity! The Arch looks breathtaking IRL (not so much on postcards IMO), and the history around it is also quite fascinating so don’t miss out on visiting the museum. Plan at very least 2h in the museum (it is huge and modern) before riding the tramway up. Because yes, you should ride up and see that for yourself! (Highly recommend to book tickets in advance online, it’s sold out almost everyday on-site). The ride up is smooth and only takes 4 min. You will sit in a very small pod with 5 people total. The upper platform has great windows. Due to the number of people they allow in each team, it is not crowded upstairs and you will have plenty of space to look through each window if you wish to do so. After 10 min upstairs, you will descend using the same small pods. The picture they take before the ride costs 30$ (+5$ if you want the digital version). We didn’t buy it as we found it way too expensive but it’s nice to know the price before in case you hesitate. Overall a great experience!

This was a really nice experience at an iconic landmark in St. Louis. I chose the Captain’s View, which included a riverboat cruise, the museum, and the arch tram ride to the top. The customer service was great - I accidentally selected the wrong date, and Marc helped me fix the date with a friendly attitude. The cruise added something different to do that you can’t do in all large cities. Note: the Mississippi River is muddy, so don’t expect pretty water - just enjoy the experience, the commentary, and the arch views from the water! The staff member in the river boat gift shop was nice, personable, and friendly. The museum was modern and pretty - I didn’t expect it to be so engaging. Our tour guide to the tram was Valerie - she was fun, friendly, and had a great spirit to keep things fun! How cool that the arch tram is one of a kind - an escalator, an elevator, and a Ferris wheel all in one! There are glass windows on the tram buckets, so you can see the internal architecture of the arch - having the ability to see out helped with clostrophobia. Views from the top are beautiful - you can even see straight down to the bases of the arch because of how the top is angled. We loved this experience and highly recommend it.

Visiting the Gateway Arch was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to St. Louis! This iconic structure is very impressive its sheer size and graceful design are breathtaking. There is a museum underneath and it is free. It is full of engaging exhibits that bring America’s westward expansion history to life. There is a tram ride to the top of the arch that will allow you to get a perfect view of the Mississippi River and downtown st Louis on a perfect day. It’s not free and you have the option to buy your ticket on line in advance. The entire Gateway Arch National Park is well-kept and peaceful, the facilities and the bathrooms are clean. It’s perfect for walking, taking photos, or just relaxing by the river. The park staff were friendly and helpful. Nearby attractions include the Old Courthouse . Walking distance to riverboat cruises that offer even more ways to connect with the city’s rich history. A must see if you’re in St. Louis. Highly recommend adding this to your travel list!

Its a beautiful park. The arch is about 630 ft tall and made of stainless steel. Can walk all around and touch the arch. There’s well maintained lawn through out. They also have a nice museum. There’s riverfront in the back. If you are planning to go for tram ride, better to book tickets in advance. We visited on a weekend and all the tickets were sold out for the day,
Nidhi K — Google review
Super easy to book even last minute! You don’t have to spend the whole day here so it’s a great activity for a short time but you can stay longer as the ticket comes with a museum. Not expensive at all and the lines are not that long. But we did go on a weekday. Lots of history to be seen. The tram ride into the arch was super cool. 😎 the only thing I would say is it rained earlier so we didn’t have a good view out of the windows at the top. Great experience!
Glenda F — Google review
Amazing structure that is fun to photograph from many angles. The museum is very well done. Lots of history and interactive displays. Plan to spend a couple of hours here. There is a cafe and nice gift shop. If you want to ride to the top, get your tickets online well in advance. The grounds are nice to walk around. If you're there in the summer, go before the museum opens to walk around before it gets hot. The Old Courthouse is part of the park. It's worth stopping at. Plan to spend about an hour.
Jana P — Google review
There's a number of walking paths around the arch and along the Mississippi in this wide open and well maintained space. It's free to walk around the grounds or even visit the museum in the basement of the visitor center. It appeared to be a popular location for picnics. There were a few small kiosks and food truck type vendors selling ice cream and other snacks.

I celebrated my 20th birthday here and had a blast! With the group package it was only $20 per person which is plenty reasonable for all they have to offer! Four people from our party didn't end up showing up and unfortunately they don't do refunds but they were happy to give us gift store credit instead! It was really difficult to find fun places to go for my birthday as someone who is physically disabled, but they were very accommodating and accessible! There are 3 exhibits that aren't technically disability accessible (the tilt room, the big-small room, and the tunnel), but I was able to do 2 of them anyways! I loved the puzzle room as well and spent a lot of time trying to solve the tower of Hanoi. I ended up getting really close but it took too much time so luckily we got a mini version from the gift shop that I've been obsessed with! Highly recommend, a great choice for the whole family and is accessible for everyone!

There were so many interactive sections in the museum. We spent the longest time in the puzzle room. The only thing I can think of as a downside isn't even in the museum, it was attempting to find parking. We were 20 to 40 minutes late to our ticket time, but they were very kind and understanding about it. I would recommend buying a ticket when you get there if possible.

I get Gary many times and he's known around town. 9/13/23 UPDATE: Every time I call them nowadays there's no answer. This is a constant occurrence. It's really a shame too .

The frame of history, nostalgia and tradition continue on at The TRex Building. I had the pleasure of driving down to experience a cryptocurrency education presentation (@BitsBeTrippin) on Thursday evening (courtesy of 1stCryptoWorld.Com) and - I love this place. The security, the overall presentation and the majesty of this building are literally something that words can't quite describe. While the surrounding area is littered with construction currently, I look forward to the day that the construction is finished and my next visit to this place. Thank you for being a staple and beacon to small business, education and learning in downtown St. Louis. It is needed, appreciated and admired.

Great co-working space. Fun people work here, the coffee is good, the meeting rooms are free for members, the price can't be beat, and the usable space is fantastic. There is a $2/day parking lot two blocks away, plenty of food options within a few blocks, and Catalyst coffee shop built right in when you want something more than just a brewed cuppa. Also, tons of great events every week, 1illion cups, bourbon Fridays, office hours with lawyers, and always something happening. The staff is friendly, and even through renovations are very accommodating. Love this place and I'm so happy I landed here.

Went for a hackathon event and spent 40 hours straight on premises. Was wonderful environment with a great interior design and many resources for furniture and different arrangments. The bathroom was a little funky, the lobby was not at all inviting and there were limited outlets in some of the rooms, but would probably be sufficient for other groups. Would definitely look forward to working in this environment again!

Parking is a nightmare. Rhe space is pretty cool, but I've been here 3 times and it's always busy and loud. Met some cool people and I like the downtown location. But there are alternative shared workspaces that are much more convenient and better suited for my needs.

The T-REX is a great place to work and collaborate with other entrepreneurs. It has the perfect mix of sleek and open design with plenty of private rooms for phone calls or meetings. The staff is friendly and helpful and the pricing is perfect for any small business’ budget. Inbound Blend | Outsourced Marketing is proud to a part of the T-REX community.

Never have what you're looking for and the people behind the counter have bad attitudes and they won't fix their EBT machine for the people in the area to be able to use it we have to go all the way to natural bridge and Taylor to save a lot when they are right down the streets from me the machine used to work I don't believe it's been broken this long they're trying to make the people spend money instead of stamps for awhile

Kaldi’s Coffee - Farrell Cafe is a spacious coffee shop with outdoor seating and a diverse menu featuring sandwiches, pizzas, and breakfast options. With four locations in Kirkwood, Chesterfield, Clayton (Downtown & DeMun Neighborhood), each spot offers its own unique charm. While the Clayton location has limited menus, tables, outlets, and parking space, the Kirkwood and Chesterfield branches provide ample amenities.
Excellence across the board. Proper cappuccino with microfoam. Baked goods have excellent flavor and freshness.

I used to stop by this store for coffee or tea whenever I passed by. However, it seems they only serve good coffee or tea if you leave a tip. I’ve decided to avoid going there from now on.
Atul K — Google review
Excellent coffee and good food. Somewhat limited menu but it's a satellite store aimed specifically for WashU students and employees. The staff here is amazing though! Hands down, much better coffee than you'll ever get at Starbucks! Can get pretty busy during peak rush times, but usually the wait for an espresso drink isn't longer than 5 - 10 mins, max
Jason W — Google review
Service is good. They excel with their lunch alternatives. I like the toasted cheese. The coffee varieties are good. A nice and uncomplicated flavor mixture. The specialty drinks are a pass. I mean the chai anything's or the matcha green teas. A lot of these companies are diluting the concentrates with milk and water. This is industry wide but still disappointing. Overall I would say come here for an interesting coffee and toasted cheese. Its open to the public by the way.
Oliver P — Google review
Baked goods sat uncovered and I spotted a fly sitting on a scone. I pointed it to an employee that was taking my order and suggested to keep the food covered. I was appalled to see them swat the fly away, did not put a lid/dome on the food. I saw the fly come right back sitting on the food. I waited for my drink for at least 10 mins and nothing was done about it!
Meghana S — Google review
Food and various drinks are consistently good but no matter how many people are in line, it seems to take like 20-30 minutes for any drink. Sometimes it's because half the baristas seem to need help figuring out how to make a drink (why would you train during the morning rush?) or in today's case, because the baristas kept stopping what they're doing to chat about the news, cats, whatever. Today another lady was waiting in line to order - 2 out of 3 baristas were oblivious and chatting around the corner, the 3rd saw the customer but said nothing until one of the others stumbled upon her. There are two Kaldi's on the Washington University Medical Campus and both are often slow and have lackluster service - odd given the amount of cafe competition on campus.

Snarf's is fantastically delicious! I recommend all Snarf's locations to any & every body. They make the best sandwiches, hands down, end of story. Go here! Visit ALL the Snarf's locations. They are in parts of St. Louis one should visit anyway.

Good black bean burrito, but a bit pricey. Then again, considering where they're located, they have some what of a captive market. Not to mentionn their proximity to the CWE Metrolink station.

The Federal Reserve Bank of St Louis is a national bank that provides services to the financial sector in Missouri. The bank was founded on December 23, 1818, and is one of twelve federal reserve banks in the United States. The bank's primary goal is to promote economic stability by helping to regulate the money supply and provide lending facilities to businesses and consumers.
The museum is still closed, but I love the building and the surrounding area. Enjoy the photos.

I think this is a hidden gem in St. Louis. Very interesting museum with lots of interactive exhibits. I expected to be bored but I really enjoyed it. Educational from the minute you walk in and see the security procedures. They even give you a bag of free money before you leave!
Bill H — Google review
State of the art museum about the economy with visitor interaction displays most of them high tech. The security is tight but the time required to go through security is surprisingly short. The building is impressive and is alone worth a visit. Don't pass up the gift shop where you can buy a bag of shredded currency.
Edward P — Google review
Very interesting experience, parking is kind of a pain but there’s a garage across the street at a garage called the Manchin house garage but you can snag a meter if you circle the block a couple times. The building is really cool and old, the museum guides Tom & Andrew know quite a bit about the building & the history. There’s free shredded currency & a gift shop. This is way more than just a boring old museum, there’s even a laser light show and a video. Really neat. I’m sure I’m going to go back just to see more cause there’s so much to take in. They close at 3pm and they mean it they have their own police force to run you out. They brought the K-9 in and we had to go. Do not bring a pocket knife or mace the fed cops will make you take it all the way back to your car. Nice guys but their not playing around.

Planetarium at the St. Louis Science Center since 1963, with live star shows & interactive exhibits.
