Nago Pineapple Park is a delightful theme park that immerses visitors in the fascinating world of pineapple cultivation. Here, you can embark on engaging tours and savor delicious tastings, all while enjoying the lush surroundings. The park also features a charming café and a gift shop where you can find unique souvenirs to remember your visit. Nestled in Okinawa's stunning West Coast region, known for its breathtaking beaches and luxurious resorts, this area offers an extraordinary atmosphere reminiscent of tropical getaways abroad.
I kept hearing about pineapple park from various different people so I decided to finally go and visit. I had no idea what I was getting into, but I was not disappointed by any means. I never knew there were so many different types of pineapples and what could be done with them. There were so many different baked goods and drinks with pineapple in them. The cakes are soft and moist and go well with a cup of coffee. The brewery and distillery was the most modern part of the park. The wine is amazing and I definitely recommend getting a bottle or two.
Michael W — Google review
I personally loved this, obviously if you go you can’t take yourself or the park too seriously because it’s a park mixed with pineapples and dinosaurs. It is pretty small so you only need like 2hours if you are stopping and enjoying any of the pineapple treats, maybe like 1 hour if you don’t. I walked up around 4pm and didn’t have to wait in line to get in and there wasn’t many people so I’m not certain how busy this place could get. There are three places they automatically take photos in the pineapple section and yes I bought one for 1000¥, it has classic theme park photo vibes and I love it. I kind of wish I did the dinosaur photos simply for the last photo area, but f you grab a piece of paper from where they sell the pineapple photos there are three areas you scan it and it will take a photo of you. There are a few stops along the way with pineapple food. The first place I had the pineapple float and it was good but not what I would consider amazing. The second area I had a pineapple skewer and I had a perfectly ripe piece of pineapple that was so juicy and sweet that I definitely recommend having one. The next areas were the gifts shops where they give free samples of the items they sell and I would have bought the pineapple cake for my dad if only the best before date was a little longer, unfortunately it was short by a couple days, but I got the cookies I was able to try. After this is the wine room which was my favorite, I think you can have small samples of the wine but I didn’t do that. I went for the 1000¥ wine tasting of three of the wines, my favorite was the red dessert style wine. Over all very enjoyable theme park and if my family ever joins me on a visit to Okinawa I will definitely recommend this
Monica W — Google review
A cute place and definitely fun for kids, but not really exciting for adults. The pineapple theme is everywhere and the self-driving cart is a nice idea, but overall it feels more like a children’s attraction than a real sightseeing spot. Good for families, but you can skip it if you’re traveling alone or as a couple.
Ricardo S — Google review
This place is an absolute fever dream. If you’ve ever thought ‘I wish there was a place where I could see dinosaur animatronics while trying 5 types of pineapple ice cream’.. PINEAPPLE PARK IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! From a shockingly high quality botanical garden to an upscale pineapple bar, pineapple park will not disappoint. This was one of our most memorable spots on our Okinawa trip.
Hannah D — Google review
Was awesome to visit again (last visit 2010) and experience it with my kids this time. The wine and sweets were as good as I remember them. I liked that it had been added to and wasnt as busy as the other places we had visited.
Brittney P — Google review
We went as four adults. While I am certain this place would appeal especially to adults, we had an awesome time! So much fun. They provided English information, which was helpful. Seeing the pineapples growing everywhere was delightful. Make sure to check out the butterflies and to sample the snacks and liquor. I especially enjoyed the dry pineapple sparkling win. We bought a few kinds of wine and a beautiful cake! We ate in the restaurant and the food was great. Unfortunately I didn’t take many pictures!!
Jill C — Google review
We came here with no expectations and were blown away! If you’re looking for something that is unique and charming, look no further. The production value for 1500 yen is insane considering we got a tour of the pineapple farm on a pineapple train, an automated pineapple buggy ride through a dinosaur forest, and a walking tour of animatronic PINEAPPLE THEMED DINOSAURS!! Super cute how everything kept to the pineapple theme. Not to mention the pineapple popsicles are very refreshing and delicious. Highly recommend for some jolly good fun!

Zoo

Aquarium

Neo Park Okinawa is a lasting botanical park and zoo that boasts interactive petting and feeding areas, as well as train rides. It's an ideal outdoor destination for nature lovers who want to immerse themselves in beautiful landscapes while interacting with animals. Guests can purchase 200 feed pellets to hand-feed some of the animals or take a ride on the elevated train for a panoramic view of the park.
The animals here look genuinely happy. They are cared for in an eco-friendly way, making this a great educational experience where kids can interact with them. The most surprising thing is that even when you touch the animals, there’s no smell at all! If you want to enjoy a peaceful forest walk while meeting a variety of animals, this place is highly recommended!
이범석 — Google review
Pure Cruelty If I could give one star, I would! The animals are kept in dirt and in the smallest spaces possible! Pure cruelty! We saw a bird in a little aquarium (?), a gigantic tortoise full of mud and in a small cage, it even had footprints on it?! It looked like someone stood on it? All the birds are kept in little cages, so are the monkeys. Don’t spend your money there, DON’T GO THERE!! We are shocked.
A. M — Google review
Great exhibits including 🐱! I couldn’t use up all my animal feed so I went back to the birds and fed them the rest of the feed. The cats were kinda lazy, but at the end of the park the cats woke up. Btw, I saw an open peacock! You should get more 🐱 and also make another area just for pets. Don’t forget to put more 🐱 items in the gift shop! Also, I recommend to make a tour so people can see the park with a guide. Also, do you have any souvenir clothes? If you don’t, please add them to the gift shop. Also since you have carrots, why don’t you get rabbits? Also, can you make the cat area bigger? This park is infinity stars squared. Anyone who sees this review must come here! I recommend it. Great attraction in Nago, pretty cheap.
Jeff S — Google review
Mini zoo with up close encounter and feeding of animals. Great experience. The capybaras inside are very friendly and cute. The park isn't very big, so you can probably have fun for two to three hours. The park is well-maintained and doesn't smell at all despite there are some animals dropping within the compound. There’s a petting zoo for 400¥ per person, totally worth it! There’s a super cuddly black dachshund miniature puppy who will climb onto your lap if you sit down
Eric A — Google review
Highly recommended this place, when entering was greeted by many birds roaming around they are calm and friendly..just be careful when feeding will do :) love that the kids can pet the animals and even carry the Geninue pigs for photography…remember to buy the whole package at the entrance! We came in May, weather is cooling and not much people we had a wonderful time here… love the slow pace and up close with the animals in Neopark Okinawa
Zion T — Google review
Fun place to go with the kids. Kids loved the petting corner, where the played with dogs, fed various cute animals including a capybara! Would give the train ride a miss the next time round though.
Lester C — Google review
Quite a compact zoo with mostly bird population. However it has other animals as well, some of them are ok to pet if you purchased the food.
DK W — Google review
The bird sections of the zoo were quite impressive and well-maintained, offering a pleasant experience for visitors. The aviaries seemed well-kept, and the variety of species showcased was enjoyable to observe. The highlight of the bird areas was definitely the bird show, which was fun to watch and engaging for all ages, with vibrant birds displaying impressive behaviors. However, the petting zoo section fell short of expectations. The animals in the petting areas appeared to be in less-than-ideal conditions, and the enclosures were not as well-maintained as they could have been. This part of the zoo seemed to need more attention in terms of cleanliness and care, which took away from the overall experience. While the birds were a clear highlight and the show added an interactive element to the visit, the disparity between the quality of the bird areas and the petting zoo was noticeable. Despite this, the visit had its enjoyable moments, particularly for those interested in bird species and interactive animal shows. Overall, the bird exhibits stand out, though improvements in the petting zoo would elevate the overall experience.

Park
Nestled at Cape Busena in Nago City, Busena Marine Park is a must-visit for anyone looking to explore Okinawa's vibrant marine life. This enchanting destination features an underwater observatory that offers stunning 360-degree views of the emerald waters and colorful coral reefs. For those seeking adventure without getting wet, glass-bottom boat tours provide an up-close look at the diverse fish swimming beneath the surface.
So totally worth the price of admission! 😁 You can check the weather conditions on their website to know if the water will be clear enough to see fish or not. Even on a day marked as "cloudy" we could see so many beautiful fish from the underwater viewing windows! You can buy fish food for ¥200 upstairs, and I really love that the food comes in a wafer cracker box that is itself made of fish food! No waste! 💜 Protecting the ocean! 💜💜 Next time I want to try the boat! We ran out of time this trip.
Sten E — Google review
This Marine Park is fairly small, as it basically covers the coral coast barely within 1 km from the beach. The tickets are reasonable for a short 20 minute glass bottom boat ride. However, it's best to check the weather forecast before booking tickets as the ride can be cancelled in poor weather conditiond. The boat ride is to see congregating coral fish life, which you can pay 200 yen to feed with bonito pellets in a wafer. Very environmentally friendly and really gets the fish excited. Variety of fish life is not too bad, consisting of parrotfish, surgeon fish, zebra fish, clown fish and sea cucumbers. After the ride, you can take a stroll along a short jetty towards the underwater tower. With an additional ticket, you can see the fish lower down the sea level through viewing portholes.
Avril A — Google review
Stunning views, offering a lot of different activities on site, like scuba diving, peddle boarding and boat ride etc. We took the glass boat ride and been in the undersea tower, the ticket is 2100yen per person. The sea creatures and coral is amazing, cannot imagine how amazing it would be before the storm destroying most of the coral. Would love to visit again and hopefully get to do more activities on site.
Amy W — Google review
Pay 2000 yen for a combination ticket to board a boat with viewing glass floor and visit the underwater observatory tower to view the sea floor... The boat ride was approx 10 to 15 mins. Good for 1st time experience.
Jon P — Google review
Funny experience, MUST visit if the weather is good. Can see the fishes and feed the fishes by ourselves. Happy happy
Katie W — Google review
Queue for over an hour, and a little underwhelming inside the bottom of the underwater space since it’s pretty small with strong aircon (bring a jacket!). BUT, on the positive side, the views are amazing while queuing - you see the land and the beautiful strong wind and waves. Most of the queuing space is covered and paid fish food to feed the fish swimming around the towel. Unique experience
Burnston F — Google review
The second largest aquarium in the world in a remote corner of Okinawa . The scale and variety of the seas on full display ….amazing !

Nago Castle Park is a delightful oasis that beautifully showcases the rich history and natural splendor of Okinawa. Just a short drive from downtown, this expansive park offers an array of activities for nature enthusiasts and hikers alike. With 12 distinct zones featuring play areas, rest spots, an observation deck, and the remnants of Nago Castle and shrine, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Around end of Cherry Blossom in Okinawa. Very beautiful and must visit. Be sure to go all the way to the top, think area 5 to get the best view overlooking the harbour.
Meghal M — Google review
Very gorgeous park to visit, even when it's not cherry blossom season.
Denise M — Google review
Beautiful cherry blossoms during blooming time. Plenty of parking along various levels so you can choose to hike up or down along various trails. The area is fairly intuitive and easy to follow, have fun and be sure to get some ice cream at the top.
Ryan L — Google review
A nice park popular with locals for exercise. We came for the early bloom of Cherry Blossoms. Not too difficult a hike. Takes about an hour max. Parking available at various points. We didn't check out the ruins so can't comment on that. Worth a stop if you have the time.
Subendra T — Google review
This is one of the best parks to watch Sakura in Okinawa. It has a few shops related to food, souvenirs, and ice cream. You need to buy 600 Jpy for regular and 400 Jpy for students. It has a ruined castle with many cherry blossom trees to have a picnic. They have plenty of parking space.
Mohd K — Google review
A great park with a super wonderful view. In terms of cherry blossom 🌸🌸🌸❤️ In terms of greenary and nice views over the city of Nago and the beach as well as ocean. A large space to wander around and so romantic and lovely 😍🌹
Hi W — Google review
Such a big park! The best place to see Sakuras, Cherry Blossoms. There more than 500 trees, ideal place around early February to get a good few of the cherry blossoms. There is a really cool suspense bridge, definitely a must see! I encourage to drive the car to some places because if you park at the very bottom and go about the park you will be VERY tired. There is also a little place that sells tea, coffee and pastries, Yen only. All in all really cool park!
Jeanette G — Google review
It was partially under construction when I went, which was also a week too late for the peak cherry blossoms, but it was still really amazing. You could happily walk here for hours any time of the year. I didn't see the castle ruins.

Brewery
Theme park
Orion Happy Park offers guided tours that take visitors through the beer-making process, providing a glimpse of the bottling line and offering tasting sessions. The tour is free and can be booked online, with the added bonus of receiving two complimentary beers. For those driving, there's an option for a non-alcoholic beverage. The park emphasizes sustainability, showcasing its 100% recycling of products produced at the factory. Visitors can also explore displays depicting historical homes and learn about the company's commitment to recycling.
Really, really need to plan ahead to attend the tour. The facility is clean and spacious, but many areas can only be visited with a guide. The restaurant inside is easy but relatively simple. The merchandise shop is great - every Orion-branded thing you could guess, with signature t-shirt styles you can't find anywhere else, and made better quality than you'll find almost anywhere in Okinawa.
Sam K — Google review
As a beer enthusiast, I felt I had to visit Orion Happy Park. I made a reservation in advance and took a 60 km bus ride, but I left with mixed feelings. It's a classic brewery tour explaining the beer-making process, showing part of the factory, and giving you two small draft beers at the end. Honestly, you can get Orion draft beer in Naha anytime—so I expected something more special or exclusive. I was hoping for a tasting with more variety or limited-edition brews. Also, the name “Happy Park” made me expect some kind of fun or unique experience—maybe something more interactive. But in the end, it’s a standard factory tour followed by a souvenir shop. That’s why I’d only recommend visiting if you’re driving around the island or staying nearby. In that case, it’s definitely worth a quick visit. Also, note that if you're a foreign tourist, the tour is only in Japanese. If you don’t speak the language, you’ll be given a brochure with the translated content to follow along.
Dusan K — Google review
We did the brewery tour and yes it was really cool. Walking through gleaming vats and corridors of stainless steel, watching the beer in various stages of fermentation and bottling, you get a real sense of the quiet, precise processes behind what ends up in your glass. At the end, the beer tasting was a highlight. Fresh, crisp, and somehow different when you drink it right from the source. It feels more alive and immediate. No gimmicks, just beer that wants to be drunk right then and there. There is also a merch shop on site. If you ever thought you needed a shirt, cap, or a stack of Orion paraphernalia, this is the place. We grabbed a few mementos ourselves. Overall, it was a fun and worthwhile detour. Informative, lively, and with the reward of good beer at the end. It is a solid stop for anyone who likes seeing what goes on behind the scenes of something you often take for granted.
JC — Google review
Spend about an hour here browsing the extensive gift shop and learning about Orion brewery history. Didn't manage to get a slot for the tour as you had to book ahead online at least 2-3 days in advance. Look at the photo with the QR code. Tour is in Japanese if I am not mistaken.
Frederick W — Google review
Interesting brewery tour! And the tour guide was kind enough to speak in English when it’s necessary! Appreciate it a lot!! Made us feel very welcoming and friendly! Two free beers after the tour woohoo!
Carol L — Google review
Pretty good experience overall. The tour is in Japanese but they have an English booklet and subtitled videos at each point in the plant to explain what you’re looking at. Staff is friendly, and the tour is very interesting. A lot of unique and interesting information about the origin of the company and the beer itself. To conclude the tour, you get 2 free beers (or non-alcoholic drinks if you drive). Tour is fun, and only takes about an hour. Has an amazing gift shop at the end with every product you can think of with an Orion Beer Logo on it. Highly recommended. Book tickets online. Usually tours fill Quickly so look about one month out for reservations.
Jay O — Google review
I didn't sign up for the tour. From what I understand the tour is in Japanese and you can do free sampling after the tour. There is also a merchandise shop and snacks bar at level 2
Zongtang ( — Google review
The brewery tour was informative and interesting, it was around 30 mins and afterwards you receive 2 free drinks over a 30 min tasting session. Make sure you book ahead of time, the English and Japanese online booking systems were inconsistent—English showed all sold out but the Japanese had spots available! So worth checking both!!

National park
Ocean Expo Park is a popular tourist destination in Okinawa, Japan. It features the impressive Churaumi Aquarium, which is one of the largest aquariums in the world. The park also boasts a beautiful beach, lush botanical gardens, and an open-air museum showcasing Okinawan culture. Originally developed for the 1975 world fair, the area underwent redevelopment to attract tourism after years of limited use following the fair.
The place is very big. Have theatre for dolphins show. Have turtle SANCTUARY, Manatee Sanctuary, nice beach for chill out. And Very impressed with the whale shark swimming in the aquarium. It's been there for 30 years. The aquarium is informative. Many sea creatures as well. Worth for a visit. Remember to watch the dolphins show.
Desmond L — Google review
Generally good but too many facilities and spaces are now barred. The other side of the park has few people to visit and I would really love to see more kinds of sea creatures here! Also a bit too crowded :(
Felix Y — Google review
This is undoubtedly one of the best aquariums on the island and a must-see whether you're stationed here long-term or just visiting. The exhibits are thoughtfully designed, offering an engaging and educational look at a wide variety of marine life—including some truly rare and awe-inspiring species. Keep in mind, it can get quite crowded, especially on weekends and holidays, so I highly recommend arriving early to avoid the rush and enjoy a more relaxed experience. There’s ample parking available, but be prepared for a fair amount of walking throughout the facility—comfortable shoes are a good idea.
Abigail M — Google review
I really love this place, there is a lot of special creatures, unfortunately I missed the dolphin show, but I still have a great time to watch sea turtles and all sorts of marine creatures. If I live here, I’ll probably buy the annual pass.
Anson — Google review
The indoor aquarium is very impressive, but I found the manatee and sea turtle pools very sad to look at, no vegetation, no toys, some were lucky to have a rock.
Jonáš S — Google review
Relaxing, enjoyable, beautiful, and the sea life was great - especially if you like sharks and dolphins. Very affordable. Plenty to do for free. Plenty of parking.
Will S — Google review
Love this place! A must see in Okinawa. Expect to spend a few hours here and be immersed in all the marine and underwater life without going to the water.
Cindy G — Google review
There are many sightseeing points, and the best part is that the Okichan dolphin show is free to watch. Parking is free, and the show is free. If you want to see dolphins and explore the ocean more, you can go to places like Churaumi Aquarium. It’s a bit complicated when there are a lot of people, but the space is large and people tend to only gather during times when there are a lot of people. Okichan is cute.

Nestled within the stunning Ocean Expo Park, Okichan Theatre is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the magic of marine life. This enduring aquarium showcases impressive large tanks filled with vibrant coral and majestic whale sharks, creating an enchanting backdrop for visitors. The highlight here is undoubtedly the outdoor dolphin shows featuring Oki-chan and her playful companions. These delightful performances include high jumps and dance routines that captivate audiences of all ages against the picturesque setting of the East China Sea and Ie Island.
The show is included in the aquarium entry ticket so I recommend watching if you’re there and have the time! It was really fun and entertaining, but it wasn’t very long. But I still enjoyed it a lot!
Helena W — Google review
I have not watched a dolphin show in years mainly because I do not support in capturing wildlife just for the sake of human entertainment. But I have to admit that it is always exciting to see such beautiful creatures appearing in front of you. I was only able to see the last few seconds of the show and I still hope that one day the dolphins would be able to return their real home.
Kero C — Google review
The dolphins show was amazing. Very funny and fantastic performance. Must watch this show if u r visiting the Churaumi aquarium.
Desmond L — Google review
No admission ticket required, very good aquarium as having different stages for performance, young crew and young dolphins added dynamics, Seaview with breeze, good shading, extra ordinary performance.
Fcpsutpn S — Google review
Dolphin shows are always fun to watch! No umbrellas so choose your seat wisely, out of he sun and rain. Most of the seating is covered. Once the show starts they will not let you in if there's no room to sit/stand.
Brandon W — Google review
All wet! They should really provide more explanations when asking people to sit nearby, especially since we think there could be opportunities for feeding and interacting with dolphins. Most of us are tourists and families! I saw kids crying crazily after the show because they got wet unexpectedly.
Gladys K — Google review
Great and funny dolphin show! Was very enjoyable to watch. The dolphin instructors put on a great show! They make the dolpins do all kinds of different tricks!
Robin A — Google review
Poor animals. So sad that they have to live in these small tanks. In this way, people are misinformed about the natural behaviour and habitat of these animals. Animals were showing a lot of stereotypical behaviour, which means they are stressed.

This unique attraction offers an engaging experience through interactive games and puzzles that educate young minds about local produce. Beyond the fruit-filled adventures, guests can also enjoy interactions with adorable animals like parrots and goats, making it a perfect spot for animal lovers.
It is a beautiful place. If I work here, I most probably come to work in a happy mood everyday. I got a badge even though I missed out two stamps as the kind lady told me not to worry.

Nice place to go with kids to learn about tropical fruits. It is a large place, your kids can do physical activities like ringing bells or walking a long. You may be able to get discount coupons for lunch buffet.
Huyen V — Google review
Didn't have kids with us but I still had a blast to go with a group of young adults. It was a fun interactive educational experience. We were learning about the many different kinds of fruits, most of which, we didn't even know existed. The attractions are in multiple languages so everyone can still read it and have fun, though the stamp machines were mainly in English. Which were really cool to find and use. I can see how it would be bad to wait in line to use them though. It's just a cutesy cheesy experience for us going without kids but I still think it's worth it for the first time. Maybe not multiple visits since the magic of the surprises would be gone. The giftshop at the end gives you a free pin for going through as well. Their snow cones are really great and are served with a scoop of ice cream too.

A fairy themed farm combining various fruit trees. It’s not a high tech theme park but instead they use simple mechanisms for hiding clues and turn it into a fun experience for kids. The main attraction is to see so many varieties of fruit trees from all over the world. There are no bathroom in the course so it’s recommended to use it at theme parks souvenir store next to the entrance. The bathroom design was interesting with a bookshelf wallpaper at the entrance and colored themes.

It was very fun, there was lots of stuff to do and a many interactive things to do. You get a stamp paper and a map and its fun. Mostly targeted towards kids but it was a fun date for a young couple.

Me and my boyfriend didn't plan to come here but we ended up to stop by. At first we thought that it was gonna be crowded and only for kids but we enjoyed it. The place was empty when we were there. The ticket is cheaper if you buy it online. The location is right next to Pineapple park.

This was so cute! It seemed like it was more aimed at children, but even as adults we enjoyed it a lot. It was also a longer experience than expected. Even the story we followed was more deep and entertaining that we expected. Ideal for a spontaneous visit if your other plans don't work out or you still have time to spare!

The 21st Century Forest Park features a man-made beach divided into three sections: community beach, play beach, and Sunset Beach. The park offers outdoor activities such as baseball, sports team training, pre-season camps, and an outdoor stage for various events. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful sunset from the amphitheater which resembles a European colosseum. The park also boasts well-maintained lawns and a stunning view of the bright blue sea.

Nice little park. Not much to do around here but it’s right by the beach which is nice. The park is also well maintained and a seemingly good place for a picnic (not sure if it’s allowed or not).

(Translated by Google) I went with my family in January 2025 (including my 3 year old daughter). Unfortunately the weather was A very nice place with some sunny days It looks great in photos and has a good view My daughter can also run as hard as she can, which helps relieve stress during the trip. Maybe it was because it was early on a weekday. There weren't many people and I had a relaxing time. There is also a restroom. There is a hand washing area and a parking lot, which is helpful. Theme park
Junglia Okinawa offers an adventurous experience reminiscent of a trip to Jurassic Park, but it comes with its share of challenges. Visitors may find the management somewhat chaotic, especially when it comes to ticket sales for popular attractions that tend to sell out quickly. This can lead to a frustrating early morning rush. However, despite these hurdles, the culinary offerings at Junglia Okinawa are surprisingly delightful, even if the dining facilities leave much to be desired.
Super fun and adventurous park! Everything went smoothly, including the shuttle from Naha City. Highly recommend getting the premium pass on Klook since the extreme rides sell out fast. Love that they provide umbrellas for sun or sudden rain, plus water stations around the park. Great experience overall!
Michael L — Google review
So complicated to get a pass for each individual theme park inside the Junglia park. I bought premium pass on Klook about 18+usd / person (no kid option). Without these premium pass I can go no where in junglia. The cost is very high (park ticket + theme park premium pass) can be2-300 usd per person+. And there is no guarantee you can get all premium pass because it sold out quickly on third party web. For local Japanese they can register on junglia app, which I cannot download due to no registered address and credit card information for switch account on Apple Store. Quite foreigner unfriendly. Another thing i don’t like this park is employees work here are not foreigners friendly. Very hard to communicate and some of them give priority to local Japanese for queuing etc. Super hot go in summer, so tanning 🌞 the overall park has few beverage and food station, no easy to get lunch at restaurants neither (queue 2.5 hr waiting ….Jesus) again we don’t have app so can not register waiting line in advance. I lost my hat in dinosaur safari and they don’t allow me to pickup my self. It’s quite easy for someone pickup and pass to some colleague to the main entrance, so I can get my hat. But they don’t allow me to do so. Instead they ask me to wait until the park closed and go to lost and found centre for registration. Hopefully I can get it back next day. It’s not convenient for traveller that have other plans next day. So I left my hat over there 😫 quite stupid rule …
Yuan L — Google review
I don’t usually post reviews like this, but having been to multiple theme parks — both in Japan and abroad — Junglia really let me down. Especially considering it’s a Japanese theme park, there’s a certain standard and level of expectation that comes with that reputation. It was extremely hot when we visited, which made the experience even tougher. The staff themselves were very kind and welcoming, but the overall foundation and management of the park just aren’t there yet. What kind of theme park limits access to rides even after you’ve already paid for admission? We arrived on the first bus from Naha City, yet there was already a long line at the Extreme Rides section. The staff even informed us that continuing to queue might be pointless because many rides were already sold out for the day — even though we had just entered. I’ve never seen that before at any park. Then came the biggest disappointment — the hot air balloon, which was one of the attractions we looked forward to most, wasn’t flying that day. So the rides we were most excited for were either unavailable or sold out. Everything had a long waiting time — the restaurant, the “free 30-minute club access” for foreign visitors (which also had another 30-minute wait just to enter). By 1 PM, we decided to finally line up for the main restaurant, hoping it would be less crowded by then. Instead, there were still around 30 groups ahead of us, and the food on display didn’t even look appealing. At that point, we were disappointed and starving, so we gave up, hauled a taxi, and ate at a restaurant outside the park instead. On top of that, prices inside the park were extremely expensive — both for merchandise and food. And honestly, most of the souvenirs and snacks were very low quality. We bought a shrimp cracker as a take-home snack, and when we tried it back home, it was terrible — easily one of the worst we’ve ever had. It genuinely felt like we got scammed out of our money. Even the popcorn we bought inside was hard as a rock and completely inedible — it tasted like it had been sitting out in the sun for hours, and we ended up throwing it away immediately. Every time we spoke to a staff member, they apologized for the bad experience — and honestly, none of this is their fault. They were doing their best, and they were genuinely kind. The real issue is how poorly managed and fundamentally flawed the park itself is. We did manage to ride the buggy and safari attractions, which were fine, but the overall mismanagement, overpriced goods, and lack of ride availability ruined the day. It’s a shame because the park has so much potential and the staff truly try their best — but it’s just extremely limited, overpriced, and poorly organized. If things don’t improve soon, I sadly wouldn’t be surprised if this park struggles to stay open. There are a million better things to do in Japan — this is definitely not one of them.

Attractions are not too scary It's very safe. Mostly have restriction of height or some so might be able to enjoy if you are more than elementary scool. All washroom have aircondition that made us feel heaven when It's very hot (maybe cold too?)

Controversial! I visited last week (Sept 2025) with 3 boys (ages 9, 9 and 11), my wife and grandpa. We stayed from lunchtime till 5pm and the weather was a blistering 30+ degrees. My wife paid for the premium pass and booked in for 3 attractions using the mobile app: Dinosaur Safari, Junglia Splash Fes and Buggy Voltage. By the time we arrived all the other rides were already booked out so.. our plan worked and it would have sucked if you'd left the rides to chance! Location: We were staying near Churaumi Aquarium and the ride in the rental car took about 40mins or so. A fairly pleasant ride up into the mountains surrounded by lots of lush trees. Parking: We arrived at lunchtime and the free carpark was 80% empty. This might say something about patronage but the assistants were helpful and the flat walk to the entrance was quick and easy. Amenities: a huge plus was the free sunbrellas which we all used to avoid the blazing hot sun. Yes there is a fair amount of walking but no more than Disneyland, USJ or Haus ten bosch. We spotted plenty of shaded benches around the place to rest as well and there are also so air conditioned "resting rooms" where you can sit and wait before your next ride. You can also find plenty of water taps to refill your water bottles. Food: we didnt buy any food as we came after lunch but there was lots of food stalls dotted across the park as well as a couple of restaurants. Ride Reviews: - Buggy Voltage: our first ride and we took the basic adventure with pairings of adult+child on the ATV. The bad side was the amount of consent forms to fill out per person and the long wait. As you can imagine it takes some time to get everyone ready. You get to ride an actual ATV so you need to be an adult - you pretty much flick the switch to turn it on, change the gears and then enjoy your slow stop/start journey around a track as the lead driver turns back every 10s to see if everyone is doing ok. I would recommend the adrenalin challenge vs the adventure course as the adventure one is limited by the slowest/crappiest drivers near you who will slow everyone down. - Junglia Splash Fes: wow this was exactly what a park of hot sweaty people need! In front of a stage the performers put on a dance with pumping loud music and massive water guns. They encourage the audience to dance along and many teens and kids ran up to the front and took park in the music and water fun. We all got drenched and the kids loved it - it was basically a mini water concert. - Dinosaur Safari: this was the ride we were all waiting for. You join in on an adventure on one of 3 armed vehicles to chase down and capture some rampant t-rex's. This adventure had moments of adrenalin and the kids loved it the most. I know that there are some very exciting adult rides here but I asked my 9yo for his rating and he gave it a 4/5. He's been to USJ, Disneyland and Haus ten bosch in comparison and I was quite surprised but the premium pass meant that the wait times were more reasonable for the kids despite not being such "gold class" rides. My final words - you can tell that the park is still rough around the edges in many ways - particularly optimising queues, signage, ride processes etc. The park feels a bit sparse and feels like its missing some character/theming. I would have loved if they built more on rykyuan culture or okinawan animal/dinosaur history. It's not my favourite theme park in Okinawa but for the young kids or teens who are well prepared in advance and booked their rides it can be a great day or date location. Maybe in the cooler months. Overall I hope they improve as I would love for some benefits for the local economy!

Having over 1,000 reviews and being only a 3-star rating says everything you need to know. By far the worst theme park experience I’ve ever had. The majority of the attractions were closed, and the few that were open had ridiculously long lines due to overselling tickets. Realistically, you could maybe get on one ride during your entire visit—if you were lucky. On top of that, the customer service was shockingly poor. When I arrived, I was told parking had to be registered in advance, despite the fact that their massive lot was half empty. What ultimately dropped this to a 2-star review was the park closing early because of weather, yet refusing to provide any kind of refund. I had no choice but to file a claim with my bank. This is definitely not the level of service you’d expect in Japan. The park itself is beautiful and unique, and it has a lot of potential—but only if management learns how to run it properly and treat customers with the respect they deserve.

I wouldn’t recommend this theme park to my family or friends. It was extremely hot, around 33°C and there was very little shade. We queued for almost an hour under the hot sun just for the buggy ride with almost no shelter. It was really uncomfortable. Just don’t think it is right to make people queue directly under the sun for so long. The park is quite big, and it takes a long walk to go from one area to another. We only managed to visit one ride before deciding to leave and rest at a nearby restaurant because of the heat. The ride were just average and each queue took more than an hour. The map was not very clear either. Overall, it felt like a normal theme park, nothing special, and definitely not worth suffering under the scorching sun.

It felt like a real jungle adventure! My child really enjoyed finding the dinosaurs like a game, and the sounds and movements of the dinosaurs were so realistic that it felt very immersive. The staff were also friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommended for families!

Nago Citizen Beach is a serene and picturesque destination that offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It's advisable to arrive early to secure a prime spot on the beach, especially on weekends when it tends to attract a large number of visitors. The beach is known for its tranquility, with fewer noisy children and tourists compared to other popular spots.
We stayed at Kanahide Beach Palace, and unlike the private beach there where you can't do much.... You have endless calm waters here to self-snorkel. It was quite calm here and had great visibility despite the rain while we were in Nago :) the beach was also virtually private. recommend for endless sandy beach, and for snorkelling!!!! This is not a private beach too which is even better! Below is what we saw :)

Todoroki Waterfall Park is a serene and picturesque destination located in Nago, Okinawa. The park offers easy access to the stunning Todoroki Waterfall, making it an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts and outdoor lovers. Visitors can enjoy picnics at the available tables while taking in the tranquil surroundings. The well-maintained recreational area features clean bathrooms and informative signs along the way.
Has a machine in front that takes 1000 bills. 200 yen per adult. Spent about 30 minutes leisurely walking around. The salamanders are adorable and the air feels fresh. The lady working was super nice and was able to exchange my 5k bill.

Very nice small park- great for a picnic lunch. There is a nice Loop to walk around the park. Many plants and trees are labeled. There are bathrooms, picnic areas, and a large open field area. There is a very nice up close view of the falls at the end of the boardwalk. Go after a good rainfall for the best waterfall pictures.

Honestly such a beautiful area. You can bring a picnic for the day and hang out with the beautiful scenery. A great place to read a book. If you have kids there is water they can play in.

Small but serene place to admire one of the waterfalls in Nago. The park is well-maintained and there were clear signages as well. We visited this waterfall right after a rainy day, so the waterfall was big and we even got wet just standing near to it! Overall a great place to stop by and chill. Do note that parking here is chargable. Entrance to the waterfall park also closes at 5pm. Visited in September 2024.

I really loved visiting this place! There was a nice lady working there who spoke English and helped us get our tickets from the ticket machine at the entrance. It was a quiet morning when we visited, so for a lot of our visit we had the park to ourselves. The cherry trees were blooming when we visited (in early February), which was a nice bonus and made the park even more beautiful. We spent some time walking slowly along the little pathways that go around and through the park, enjoying the scenery with the beautiful sakura, and stopping to watch some big butterflies flitting around the blossoms. The waterfall itself is small and pretty, with a viewing stand close to it on the boardwalk path and another covered area a little distance back where you can sit down if you want to. It's definitely a great little place to stop for a short visit on your way to wherever else you're headed!

Unplanned stop but definitely worth a look. Because of the rain, it made the waterfall stronger. Beautiful environment. Park entrance fee: ¥200. Buy your tickets via the machine next to the counter. Parking is available right next to the park.
