Adding nice shelter recently by local MLA to do all the rituals and Puja for peace has added more comfortable for the people. The pond next to Shelter Bhawan is also in good shape n cleaned. Adding Gardens &:green trees all along give a peaceful feelings for the family WHO use for their rituals. FINALLY Ranchi people got some better facilities here. It is as normal as any other park in city the city .garding is eye soothing but nothing other than gardening is what you can see here.ticket of 15 rupees for seeing flowers I think is not appropriate.if you are looking for visiting something in Ranchi donot consider it as a tourist place.

Nakshatra Van is a popular tourist attraction situated near Rajbhawan in Ranchi. The opening time is at 9:30 AM and closes at 6PM. It Remains closed on Monday . The entry fee is Rs.15 for adults and Rs.10 for kids between 3 to 12 years of age. Apart from that you have to pay vehicle parking fee. The park is a good place to spend some time alone or with friends/family. There are several varieties of plant/tree species on display here. Some of the exotic plant/tree species are also on exhibition like Kalmegh, Kasturi, Brahmi, Ghritkumari, Ashvagandha, Lemon Grass, Rohini Jamun, Ashwini , Shammi, etc. Apart from that there is also a rose garden with various colored roses. The smell of the roses is really refreshing, specially in the evening when the wind is blowing. There is also a pond situated in the park. There is also a place called Mundan Ghat near the pond. . Hygiene is just OK. Do not expect anything special. But there is no cafeteria or restaurant here. Donot go in college or school dress.

The walk was quite long nonetheless. This is mostly because we missed to hire a buggy at the entrance (highly recommended if you are with kids and elderly). The park is very neat and clean other than the usual animal smell nothing else. Considering the weather and heat, we felt The Black Bear was more welcoming than others 🤫😬. I know that my kid enjoyed the walk in the zoo. The timing to visit I felt like entry by 10:15/10:30 and exit by 01:00/01:30 PM to be ideal with kids and elderly. Carry water and small snacks but make sure to use dustbins when done. Variety of birds, animals and reptiles are in the zoo. Overall I will say a good experience. Nice place to visit with family and friends. There are so many wild animal available . E van , and clean toilet ,zoo cafeteria available hear . In summer must carry an umbrella water . One of the gems of Ranchi. Situated at NH on Ranchi Patna Road. It’s also called the Ormanjhi Zoo. Has ample Parking space. We booked the tickets online, can be purchased on counter too. I preferred this to avoid the queue however there wasn’t any rush as such. Inside you get battery operated cars which can be booked at 300/-. There is waiting always for the same. Keep half an hour as wait period for this. In terms of animals and condition of the park - it’s really well kept and maintained. Very good experience for kids and adults too. There is a snake world inside, don’t miss that.. :)

The visit was not of good taste.we 4 Adults and 2 children aged 4 & 2 years reached at 3=30 PM. The moment we reached at the entrance Gate,A loud sound frightened us Which was due to fall of DRY BRANCH of Tall Dry Tree standing just near the First Turn of the Entrance Gate.By GOD Grace We escaped unhurt for few inches. The intensity of impact can be gauged by the bend Corrugated sheet nearby . We made an Entry and went straight for hiring vehicle at around 3=35 PM Where we got another as No vehicle was available.Enquiry revealed that only 3 small vehicles are plying and rest are under Breakdown including the Big one.We somehow managed to walk a little with 2 small children and left disappointed.

Very good park to visit. Here you can see many type of birds like ostrich,kiwi,white duck,black buck etc and many types of animals like elephant,lion, beer, crocodile , alligator etc . You need atleast 2 hours to visit all places of park. Here a dhaba is also available where you can eat but little expensive. Such a great experience to visit. Atleast you should visit once in your life.

Its a zoo + nature park + botanical garden + children's amusement park + wildlife reserve, rescue. Everything in one place. And best of all the location, extremely easy to get there via nh 33. Been here dozens of time and yesterday went with people from my hometown. Everyone had the best time. Boating for some reason wasn't available this time. But white tiger is the latest feature of this place. Must visit if you're coming to Ranchi. And yes do come in light clothing. You will have to walk a lot, 5-6 kms easily, although a golf cart sevice is also there but I don't recommend it. Don't be lazy while you're out to enjoy :)

Ranchi Science Centre is a great educational place, especially for children. Adult admission is twenty rupees, while children under twelve pay ten. However, this science facility needs a lot of attention,nobody there can explain it, it needs a lot of upkeep and all experiments involving glass are not cleaned. 3D shows are suitable for children fees 50.

There is absolutely no maintenance of the items in the Science City and some items are in bad condition and do not work properly but 3d show is good

While the atmosphere was and ambiance was good, the dishes lacked flavor, leaving much to be desired. The menu seemed promising, but execution did not match up, resulting in a disappointing dining experience overall. For those looking for a relaxed environment, Hot Lips delivers on ambiance, but for a satisfying meal, one might want to explore other options. And trust me there are better food on the same price point. Conclusion: If you're very fanatic about the food and flavour this place is not for you

Staff and service they provided was good. Upper floor was empty.. That give the vibe of being booked whole space.. Staff was very cooperative and behaved nice. Although picture frame and decorations is pretty simple, no dramatic or Instagramic.

Total waste of money and time. Hotlips- earlier this was famous for its food but has become nonsense these days. The food was very very bad. We have orderd mushroom tikka, chicken tikka along with some other starters. What we received was cold and unappetizing food and specially mushroom was rotten and spolied. Despite bringing these issues to the attention of the staff, there was no effort made to rectify the sitiation or make it right. Staff was like- hamara yaha aisa hi milta h aapne order kiya h aap samjho, hmlog kch nahi kr skte..hm ne fresh hi diya h. They were very rude. this resturant doesn’t deserve a single star for its food and staff behavior.

We went with our friends for first time in Kanke outlet and tried many items like we tried chicken platter which was worst because many of items were burnt and extra dry & we also tried Murgh Mussalam which was also not up to the mark however some of the items were decent like noodles and baby corn chilli. Service was okay but staff should be more polite.

The starter was okay but the main course was very bad. The worst part being the waiters and managers just ignore you and your request. Even after I asked how to give a review they refrained from sharing a customer feedback form and completely ignored.

Ranchi Jagannath temple is quite peaceful and nice place to visit in Ranchi.. it's located on a small hill top, Ranchi assembly and stadium view is very good from here. There was no large gathering so one can send time here and offer Puja to lord Jagannath. Parking space is also available.

This park is not clean. It's very dirty. When you are charging Rs 10 for the entry , bare minimum cleanliness is mandatory. Request the concer authorities to please look into it.

Patel park is a good place for morning & evening activities like walking, jogging, yoga, exercises etc. Good paved path for walking, benches to sit, maintained garden.

Overall Park is good but it is being charged by users. Ideally maintenance should be done by municipal corporation and it should be allowed to all without any fee. External vendors are also there for few games for kids, for which there are no proper guidance and charges are also little high by vendors.

NYC park for morning walk and for exercise also .there was play ground for kids also..and have food area too.. Ticket was chargeable..10 rs for adult and 5 for children

I live here, it is very safe and peaceful area. Please do visit here. In morning till 8 am it is free. You can find free equipment for exercise.

This is a nice place. It is located in the heart of Ranchi city. You can enjoy the view of the mountain- "Fansi Tungari" from here . You can walk around with morning and evening walks. Presently construction work is going on to make it beautiful. Hope spending time here will be more nice and beautiful.Ranchi lake also known as bada talab is quiet nice the huge vivekananda statue is situated over there. The last time I visited it was closed due to COVID but it generally opens from 7am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm. But you can have a view from far away it will still mesmerizing and good.This is one of the best places to visit in Ranchi. It gives you a much-needed beautiful sunset . Here is also a statue installed of Swami Vivekananda . Overwhelmed with the beautiful photos and reviews here, I decided to visit there during my one day trip to Ranchi, but I was quite disappointed. Water is polluted possibly by chemical waste. They have closed the entry to Vivekananda statue area which could have given a scenic view of the entire place. This has marred half of the beauty of the place. I think more trees should be sown to decorate the place and for fresh air

Visited Seva sadan hospital then I noticed

It's just okay...🤨🤨🤨but it needs a serious attention of "Ranchi municipal corporation ", because there is no proper irrigation system for plants and trees inside the park.., no proper decorating lights.., no meadow which should be a primary focus of any park... fountain is not working..., no dust bin in the park..., SENSELESS PEOPLE throwing litter and garbage here and there in the park..., no care taker ...no staff...! Weak state jharkhand ... lazy Ranchi Municipality...😒😒😒

Near Ranchi lake, roads under development, famous nursing home Nagarmal Seva Sadan. But it's difficult to move with four wheeler as situated in Upper Bazar main business place of Ranchi capital of Jharkhand very densely populated area with narrow roads. But Shree Narayana Park is a fine place.

Deer park, this palace is only for time pass. There is nothing to do something only you can see deers . As Staff member told us their are 180 deers in this park . You can see here different types of deer.

Very nice place for a day out. Just that there is a lot of walking to do inside which can be tiring for kids and elderly persons. Still, Kids will love to see the dears. No food allowed inside which is a good initiative looking at people throwing food packets and garbage here and there. Pleasant place overall.

Another great place to hang out outside the city with your friends/spouse/family. A nature trail around 2 kilometers to watch variety if deer species. A beautiful garden and jungle to be remembered and its an worthy visiting point.
