A remarkable gem. I was very happy to spend my morning exploring all they had to offer. There are beautiful sculptures inside and outdoors. The gallery has numerous framed artwork as well as small, medium and large sculptors. They also have an interactive kids area.

The Museum of Western Art in Kerrville, Texas is an incredible gem that exceeded all expectations. We visited on a rainy day, arriving through a clearing storm, and even that couldn’t dampen the experience. Though we entered from the back lot by mistake, we quickly found our way to the entrance and were welcomed by stunning outdoor sculptures and a stone wall lined with cowbells. It set the tone perfectly for what was to come. Inside, we were warmly greeted by two friendly and knowledgeable curators who took time to explain the museum's history. We learned that the land was generously donated by a local resident so the museum could be built in Texas instead of California, which led to an outpouring of support from collectors all across the country. Once word spread, people donated incredible artwork and western artifacts, creating a collection that is as rich in history as it is in beauty. The museum is incredibly well maintained and thoughtfully laid out. The architecture alone is impressive, but it’s the content that really shines. From oil paintings to bronze sculptures, the halls are filled with scenes of frontier life, cowboys, Native Americans, ranchers, and breathtaking Western landscapes. Some works are even for sale, and the staff mentioned that they had just completed their Spring Round-Up, which is a showcase and sale event for Western artists. In addition to the art, the museum houses a Western research library, making it a valuable resource for historians, students, and anyone interested in the culture and legacy of the American West. It was our first Western art museum on this leg of our RV journey, and it left a lasting impression. It offers a peaceful and inspiring atmosphere for anyone who appreciates art, history, or the American frontier. Highly recommended if you are visiting Kerrville or passing through the Texas Hill Country. We plan to return if we’re ever back in the area. Do not miss it.

Visited during Spring Break as a group of 6, including 2 boys aged 4-6. Easy to find and free car parking near the entrance. Finding the parking area wasn’t clear, but we got there. The front entrance has a cool walls of cow bells that you could hit to make sound. We ain’t have to wait to get in - the place was quiet and we basically had the run of it. The staff were all friendly and after we paid to enter we were given a 1-3 minute welcome presentation and then could go diff to explore. There were a few big rooms full of paintings, sculptures, display saddles, some cases with pistols and Derringers under glass. There was even a room in the back aimed towards kids - it had a full-sized wagon, a large tent, and dress-up outfits. Our boys dressed up like cowboys and spent the whole time looking in the crates at the plastic food and equipment that the old-timers used to lug around on their frontier journeys. The boys were satisfied. There’s a great variety of art and they all evoked the spirit of the West. One thing I’d have liked to see was labels that said the date and description of the art pieces, beyond the artist name and piece title which was provided. We stayed about an hour which was enough to see all the rooms. Browser the gift shop which had books, art prints, leather and jewellery items. I’d recommend visiting this museum, even in you have young kids.

Small but nice. The staff is friendly and informative. Definitely worth the visit.

Really cool exposition of local art and historical art. The curators on site are very helpful and knowledgeable. Parking is easy and abundant and the site is easy to spot off the main road. There was a kids section that was interactive. Its worth the small admission fee.

Very interesting paintings and sculptures. The volunteers were very sweet. I would love to know who made the leather and wood chairs dotted around the exhibits. They were beautiful and comfortable.

Nice rv sites. Great trails and river access. This park could be 5-star if the restrooms and showers were updated and kept clean. The restrooms do not have ac and it is like a sauna showering.

Even though it's open it's lacking maintenance/cleaning. They painted the restrooms and left debris of paint everywhere. Our campsite pourch was dirty, others are the same. We enjoyed coming here (3-5 times/year) but will likely hold off until it is fully open. Currently no access to the river.

Awesome park to practice and train MTB, jogging and hiking. Most of the trails are shaded. All sorts of trails, lots of them flat and twisty, some of them technical.

I went to Kerrville-Schreiner to ride the trails. The trails were very clean. There was some overgrown foliage due to recent rain, but didn't hinder the ride. Uphill climbs are a little technical and challenging. Great for cardio. Going down the hills is very fun - nice and rocky. Had a great time and will continue to return.

We stayed at the Windham Resort in Ingram. Spent a few days enjoying the area, natural surroundings, as well as shopping in Kerrville. Windham Resort is a great place to stay and is on top of a hill with only one road in making it extremely safe.

A favorite park to camp in. Love swimming and kayaking the river. Paddled to the damn and back, had picnic along the way. Park hosts kept everything neat and tidy. Bathrooms were always clean.

(1/5 stars) - Inappropriate Staff Behavior and Harassment** **Extremely uncomfortable experience that overshadowed what should have been a pleasant stay.** I visited this park while in Kerrville on official business for the judicial branch of Texas. While the park itself is beautiful, the staff behavior was completely unacceptable and concerning. **Major Issues:** **Inconsistent rule enforcement:** Around 9:30 PM, I observed someone hitchhiking on the highway walk directly onto the property, use the showers (which clearly state "attention permit required for all shower usage"), exit a few minutes later, and walk back off onto the highway. He walked right past the "volunteer" and the "volunteer" did nothing. Inappropriate nighttime encounter:Around 9:00 PM that same evening, a park volunteer crept up on my vehicle in the dark while I was changing clothes. Despite me clearly stating from a distance that I was changing, he seemed to quicken his pace toward me. He demanded $27 cash only for the camping fee, refusing my offer to write card information on the form. When I explained I didn't have cash at the moment, he forced me to break camp and leave to find an ATM. When I told him "I'm changing, do you mind?" he just stood there with his mouth open staring at me before finally walking away. This felt like voyeuristic behavior. Continued harassment: The next morning at 7:45 AM, staff were again perving around my vehicle while I was trying to sleep. Very awkward and inappropriate. Maintenance issues: Air dryers in restrooms don't work. Why did the hitchhiker get a complete pass while I got harassed and perved on? This experience felt predatory and inappropriate. Beautiful location, but the staff behavior raises serious safety concerns, especially for families with children. Must be one of "those" parks - children beware. One bad experience like this negates any positive reviews.

We had a wonderful time walking along the paved trail and looking at nature. I identified 13 new bird species on my Merlin app while walking on the trail. It is so peaceful and serene. A great place to visit while in Kerrville!

Love this center...I take our mini aussie for a walk 3 days a week up there. She is always so excited to see more people and get some extra pets. We always approach folks with caution and ask if she can come up to them for pets. All the peeps we encounter are always pleasant and receptive to greeting our sweet Tinkertoy. The grounds are well maintained with lots of wildlife to see, plus wildflowers & some shade & benches to take a rest on!

Very disappointing! We scheduled this Bird Walk & Talk event more than a month ago. The meeting address changed, then the time was changed. I sent an email the day before asking which was the correct info and didn't hear back. We showed up early and waited in the parking lot, along with several other people who were also waiting and no one ever showed up. After 20 minutes, we decided to go on our own walk by ourselves. When we arrived to the center, we had driven a long way, so I had to use the facilities and there were none open or available. Will never do this again or recommend it.

I loved walking around the outside of the center. It was connected to the river walk so that made it very easy to explore the area too.

A great. Place to explore nature. The animals were beautiful and weren’t really afraid of people. The trail was spectacular down to the Guadeloupe river. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the plants, animals, and river.

Picturesque scenery with tranquil atmosphere. Sweet, succulent smells abound. The nearby road noise disappears when you are taken away the sights. Unbeatable price (free), but they do take donations.

My young kids (5 and 2)enjoyed the children's corner inside the building. They were completely enthralled with the exhibit seeing how water flows down the Guadalupe watershed. It's an easy walk around the trail. It's gravel and I prefer going without a stroller and letting kids explore.

It is an absolutely beautiful park along the Guadalupe River with lots of shade and plenty of places to wade in. People were kayaking, fishing, strolling with their dog, having picnics, and children playing on the playground. We happened across the park by accident while driving through town, but we definitely look forward to another visit soon!

It is one of the most beautiful and well-kept parks I have visited. Nice trails and all sorts of flowers, trees, geckos, and deer along the trails. Many nice areas to have a picnic or family gathers. The bathrooms were decent. A dog friendly park!

Great place.on the river to bring a family of all ages and abilities. Wide open spaces, play sets,splash pads, swimming,paddle boarding, volleyball, fishing and most important restrooms. Was very clean and safe .

Stopped on a road trip to have lunch here and it did not disappoint. Beautiful river frontage with a variety of birds. We saw an Osprey, red-tailed Hawk, double-breasted cormorant, Egyptian goose, and ducks.

A very beautiful and spacious park in a town nestled in the Texas hill country. It isn't a place I would be likely to go, but for the eclipse. We were taken with the beauty and serenity of the park and the river, despite it containing a few thousand eclipse-chasers. The town turned out and we thoroughly enjoyed the day.

We love this park. The location is beautiful, with nice, shaded trails, right along the river. The splash pad is so nice for kids and toddlers to cool off in and there are shaded picnic tables surrounding it for parents to watch from. There are several different parking areas. Two different playgrounds and an exercise area. This park really has it all, including deer and ducks!

Lovely large clean safe park in the heart of Kerrville. We came for a walk along the river and enjoyed watching the ducks. Lots of folks were out enjoying the park, families with kids, runners, bikers. It’s very pretty, paved and thoughtfully planned, a real gem for the town.

You could send DAYS here…. 😳 Take some time to look at the “Prayer Rocks”! Some are amazing!!! Best time to go is an hour or so before sunset… then spend a few hours there. Then, come back in the morning! Very nice staff! 👍🏽🙂👍🏽 Peaceful gardens. Well thought out sculpture garden. The CROSS and the sculptures are amazing! We visited this blessed place in June 2025. Very peaceful and full of wisdom and truth. Prayer stones border the sidewalks. The sidewalks have Bible verses in Spanish, English, and German. The garden is shaped like a cross, as seen from above. Each point on the cross has a beautiful sculpture. The central sculpture of Jesus returning on a white horse has a fountain, where people are baptized. Near the entrance, there is a gift shop. There, we learned how God sanctioned the building of this garden, that is the same latitude as Israel. In 2023, a full eclipse came over the garden. In 2024, another full eclipse came over the garden, creating a virtual X at the garden, where both eclipses crossed. Admission is FREE. Parking lots are around the hill that the garden is built on. Highly recommend that you visit and pray at this place!!! God bless!!!

Absolutely beautiful! Bring a marker to write a prayer on a rock and leave it along the walkway. Well maintained. The worship music playing outdoors was a nice touch. Very powerful! I enjoyed my visit! 10/10.

Amazingly designed, starting with the bottom of the hill; the entrance was nicely detailed with Mary, the three nails and a nice little visitors center. Then the top of the hill was superb! The Christ, and the Open Cross was a sight to see. You feel the peace, solemnity and all the prayer rock garden was touching and inspiring. The whole garden is shaped in the shape of a cross. Definitely a must visit…

Beautiful views, an awesome place to meditate in God's Word, and to have a quiet time with the Lord. They have a gift shop and some free treats for you to share your faith with others. I recommend 100% 👍

Was more than a sculpture garden. It felt like Holy ground. Breath taking and awe inspiring. Would highly recommend.

This is an awesome performing art center/ theatre is compared to Fredericksburg theater this is so much more awesome. Modern, cozy comfortable seating with beautiful restrooms

Rhis was our first time at the theater since moving here. The show was amazing. I was so excited to see it. We were in the balcony along the back wall. There is not a bad seat in the place. Will definitely be back. I did have two problems. One was the two lady Ushers who were sitting in the back row talking loudly. I was surprised since they are Ushers. Number two was the lady next to us who kept turning on her flashlight to read the program before EVERY song. There was an usher sitting near us and it was annoying her as well but she just put the program up to her face instead of telling the lady to stop. I asked and she just grunted at me and did it anyway. The theater is beautiful and the performance was delightful.

Attended the Pink Floyd Laser Light Show in April! We had a great time! Very nice theater. Friendly staff! Amazing acoustic! When is the next Pink Floyd Laser Light Show? 2025! Make it annual please.

We went for a reptile tile event, that was a lot of fun for my 8 yr old son. The experience was part of a summer reading program that they put on for the kids. The venue is a very outstanding unique architectural masterpiece. The place is super clean and everyone we encountered was very friendly. I recommend checking it out; especially if it's a dog day of summer because the A/C worked too...lol. Enjoy.

Always a great time out in an extremely beautiful theater. They always offer a variety of live shows for all patrons, scheduled regularly. This Theater is really an asset for this small town. Probably why I moved here 6 years ago. A real gem!

Corey is really great to work with. He has good equipment for rent (and for sale), runs a timely shuttle, has great prices, and is always honest about the water levels in the river. I've taken large groups of family and friends out and have always been happy with the outcome. Highly recommend!

Rented two kayaks, Jackson Rivieras. Great prices! Comfortable kayaks. Corey had great suggestions and brought the kayaks to the river for us. The Guadalupe was beautiful! When we were finished I called Corey and he was there in 10 minutes to pick up the kayaks. Corey was awesome! Great experience and excellent customer service!

Family friendly customer service. Provided service to deliver kayaks to the ramp. Great park to fishand kayak. Kayaks are in great shape and even had a little one for my 6yr old. Very fair prices. Great service hours too.

Corey went above the normal customer service and made our kayaking adventure perfect. We loved it and afterwards he gave of his time to show us the Riverwalk and tell us some local restaurants to check out. Do not skip this adventure. We saw a bunch of turtles and wildlife in the Guadalupe River. Thank you Corey for giving us such a great memory

Mr Corey was very helpful , my sister and I rented 2 kayaks to kayak the river today. Mr Corey delivered and picked them up for us and accominated everything we needed. We had a great time, and highly recommend.

We finally got the chance to experience Bill's Bar-B-Que. Since 1982...the longevity alone let us know it had to be good. And we really enjoyed what we ordered. I had a 1-meat plate (brisket, potato salad, beans) and my husband ordered the brisket sandwich with chips. Service was excellent with people who really made us feel welcome. We met Joe, too (nice talking with you.) We'll have to come back and try the rest of the menu...but not all at one time! Thank you!

Brisket and jalapeño cheese sausage are the best, this place really knows how to make the proteins, however the sides could be better, they only have 3 options. Would definitely go again tho!

Hands down the best brisket we had in all of Texas. The baby back ribs were falling off the bone good. Everything was tasty. And the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

This place knows how to make the MEATS! The brisket is melt in your mouth brisket. The smoked turkey is flavorful and juicy. There are 3 choices of sides to choose from; potato salad, which was perfect in every way, cole slaw, and pinto beans without meat. The prices are reasonable and the food is scrumptious! If you come hungry, you will leave full. Find a spot to park. You won't regret it! The staff was friendly and helpful. They even give out samples! Bonus!!!

I've had BBQ from all over the States. I have a rule if the building looks old and worn down the the food is good. (This has never failed me at any place I eat). I had the 3 meat plate and got ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. The brisket was done perfectly moist and savory. Ribs were literally falling off the bone as you picked them up from the plate. The pulled pork was unbelievably savory. None of which had an overpowering bark, but we're perfect balance between meat and seasoning added. The home made BBQ sause was not to sweet not to spicy but a perfect balance to go between pork and beef. Their buttermilk pie was exceptional. Service was perfect. Love that when you walk in, it is cafeteria style serving. If you stop in Kerrville, know that you will get some damn good BBQ from this family owned establishment.

Stopped by happy accident. Entered into Google for Bill Miller's BBQ and got something better!! The food was flavourful and the service friendly.

I am visiting Kerrville for work and have passed through many times. I asked a local about BBQ and this is where we went. Very impressed with the brisket, fall off the bones ribs and some great sausage. The owner Joe was amazing and all his staff were top notch. Can't wait to come back next time I visit.

Friendly staff. My wife and I split the street tacos and chips with salsa. They were very good, and there was plenty for both of us. As usual, the beer was great. One of our favorite stops when we're in Kerrville.

Home town Kerrville at its BEST! You can’t beat their Rueben. Numerous choices of craft beer, sandwiches and salads. Top it off with an oatmeal cookie. Enjoy LIVE ENTERTAINMENT on Friday nights. It’s a great spot to sit outside or indoors if you so desire.

Got off the interstate for lunch and was surprised to find this amazing brewery. I thought it was new but was surprised to find out it's been open 13 years, you would never know it because the owners obviously take pride in keeping it brand new. Food, beer and service are all top notch.

My wife and I were in San Antonio for a conference, so we drove out to Kerrville to meet my niece and her baby for lunch. We met at Pint & Plow for lunch and we were quite pleased with the food, drink, atmosphere, staff, and service. My wife had the chicken Caesar salad (note, the small is more than enough for a human) and I had the Rueben sandwich. The food was delicious and there is a good selection of craft beers. They also serve Mexican Coke, they must know a guy. There is also a good size coffee bar that I did not have the opportunity to indulge in, too bad for me. Overall, this was a very good experience.

The walk to Pint & Plow from the river trail is about 7 min. We enjoyed their pizza the first time we came. For this visit, we had the reuben, a small deconstructed falafel salad, and the hyphen burger. Despite being busy, we managed to have our food in 10 min. The fries were wonderfully seasoned and crunchy. The corned beef in the reuben was perfect. The tahini in the salad dressing could have been a little more apparent but we still enjoyed it. Also, the side salad was a great value for $6. The restaurant was clean and we loved the feeling being outside yet indoors. Friendly servers & staff. There's a complimentary water station and tables outside had water bowls for dogs. Overall, we loved our visit. Can't wait to go back!

I absolutely love this place!! The food was amazing! The beer was amazing! The atmosphere was amazing! The flight is definitely a must have to try them all! I love that they balance trendy with history. The fact sheet about all the historic preservation they’ve done is awesome. We where constantly checked on and I can’t think of a cooler place to stop!

We're beer snobs, flat out. That said, I was blown away as they were all good/great. I generally hate porters and dislike most Octoberfest.... these were very good. ....but the Belgian, 👌 wow, that level of execution is rare.

Some beautiful art pieces here, but the ladies stand off to the side slowly following you around as if you’re trying to steal the $50-$1,400 paintings they sell here. We felt rushed and urged to get out.

The Outdoor Painter's Society just had their competition last week in Kerrville sponsored by the Kerrville Cultural Arts Center. it was one of the best shows they've had all year. Try not to miss the show next October 26th. Pairing it with the Water Street Festival was absolutely brilliant and so much fun to walk down Earl Garrett Street and water Street to watch the En Plein Air painters in action this Oct. 25th. Bravo KACC! What a wonderful job!

Stopped in to visit the display of furniture created by local artisans. The facility was well lit with a friendly staff and interesting gift shop. The exhibit was well done and the quality of the pieces was outstanding.

This is a great art space and there’s no admission fee! I love all the local artists they feature, and the range of the different exhibits… from furniture and wood carving to exquisite paintings and sculptures. If you’re in Kerrville it’s definitely worth the time to stop in.

The Hill Country Youth Art Show is always a favorite yearly event for our family. The KACC really knows how to encourage and showcase student artists in our community.

This place is fantastic. They rotate artists monthly and have a silent auction for the art. They also have art for sell. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable of the art.

Well, I'm supposed to tell u about my experience at this place. It was a short but very gratifying visit! My artist daughter received yet another award for her amazing dragon drawings. The place sure knows art when they C it!! Her name is Heather Troskowski. Keep an eye out for this name she WILL be well known.

I was absolutely appalled to walk into Sunrise Antique Mall and find an entire booth filled with Nazi memorabilia — swastika flags, SS pins, and other deeply offensive items. This is not history. This is hate for sale. When I told the staff how disturbing and unacceptable it was, they offered no defense, no apology, no indication that they planned to remove the items. I walked out and will never return. Displaying and profiting off of symbols of genocide and white supremacy is not "collecting." It's a choice — one that reflects terribly on the ownership and anyone who continues to sell or allow the sale of such vile material. Kerrville deserves better.

This is a must go place in Kerrville! 16,000 square feet of antiques! There are so many cool things to look at! It's like stepping back in time!

This was the most beautiful antique store that I have been to. I was impressed with the organization and categorizing of the booths. Some booths added special touches by adding background and historical context to their items. The staff were exceptionally helpful and incredibly courteous. I will be back! Thanks for a great experience.

Wow, I’m sorry to give such a low rating but it has been a long time since I’ve seen so much junk at astronomical prices under one roof. They do have a very clean restroom.

I found an old box of at least 50 vintage discs which I was able to play on my stereo for just 20$, and the box itself was very high quality. The prices here are fantastic

Huge, with two floors of vendors. Very good prices. We found this beautiful youth bed, also several other "smalls." Big variety. If you don't find something, keep looking. Could easily spend an hour or more looking for a treasure.

This winery is on the Schreiner campus in a 120 year old craftsman. Gorgeous inside and the view was also wonderful. The wines we tasted were excellent and well crafted. Cari spent time with us sharing information about the owners, winery and their wines all crafted from Texas grown grapes. When we return to this area, this will be one of our stops.

Love love love the “new” building at Schreiner. Honestly, I think the venue has been their only missing ingredient, and now that they have the very cool Weston House, all is complete. The friendliest and most knowledgeable staff make the experience complete. Their wines have always been really good with excellent selection and varied pricing, definitely something for everyone.

Great tasting room located in a Frank Lloyd Wright inspired historic home on the university campus. Cari was wonderful and very knowledgeable. A great find!

We had a thoroughly satisfying and pleasant experience at Kerrville Hills Winery. The wine was exceptional and complex, while the atmosphere was very down to earth and community-oriented. There was absolutely no snobbery, just genuine love for the art of wine and for people. Highly recommend

Drinking wine on the porch of this historic home with amazing friends can’t be beat! Cari was amazing and the wine as fantastic!

Great overall experience. Loved the wines and they are very affordable for the great quality. The place is beautiful and Cari was patient, knowledgable and extremely kind! The wine club is also very reasonable so I signed up. Thank you!

Party of 4 on a Friday at noon. About half full of customers. Excellent menu selection with reasonable prices. Service was great from the start with a solid knowledge of food allergens since one of our party has dietary issues. BLT with okra and Reuben with onion rings were highlights. Some of the best rings we've had in a long time. Noise level was low so having a conversation was not difficult. The view to the river added to the experience. Parking can be a bit tricky when the restaurant is crowded.

We found Billy Gene's when in Mountain Town, TX for a wedding. This place is AMAZING!!! This resteraunt consistently had a full parking lot and was located right on the river, with a dog friendly patio so we had to check it out. Ask for Timothy B, he was our server! Tim was friendly, attentive and very helpful in our efforts to pick selections from a well stocked menu! We LOVED this place and will absolutely plan to return the next time we are near Kerrville. Highly recommend the chicken fried steak, onion rings, strawberry cake, and Texan Salad!! We loved this place so much we ate lunch and ordered additional entrees to go to enjoy later at our hotel!

I had been here once before, and enjoyed the food. My friend had never been to Kerrville, and we planned to celebrate his birthday by visiting the Empty Cross. We stopped at Billy Gene's for lunch. The food was great. I ordered a steak with a side salad and a baked potato. My friend had the meatloaf special with 3 sides. We also split an order of onion rings, which were excellent.

We just ate here for lunch. Two adults and a child. The sever, I believe his name was Tim, was amazing. We had the Tuesday lunch special - battered Shrimp. They were big and delicious. For the lunch specials, they do come with set sides. If you want to change them it is a $1 charge. Instead of coleslaw, we got a side salad. I had the chicken, with bacon, cheese, and salsa. The chicken was a bit dry and hard to cook but was still yummy. The kids had a grilled cheese and changed the fries to mashed potatoes for a $1 upcharge. Her meal did come with a bottle of apple juice but we forgot it on the table. It was crowded, but we didn't feel rushed to get out. I believe it was the manager, but she came by and checked to make sure we had everything we needed.

Wonderful restaurant with friendly staff and great food. Had the fried mushrooms, chicken fried steak and sides. Watching humming birds, cool breeze and the Guadalupe river flowing ..... Perfect way to spend a meal

I originally ordered takeout but when I arrived to pick it up and noticed that they allowed dogs to be with you on the patio, I was delighted! We took our food to the patio to enjoy. What a gem here! The water view was amazing but watching the hummingbirds come to the various feeders had us in awe. Food was delicious and service was extremely friendly. I’ve never been so excited to write a review. Tim gave us the best service we’ve had at a restaurant in atleast 10 years. Possibly the best service I’ve ever had. Didn’t have to ask for a thing. Food was great. Views were spectacular. I’m already recommending this place to all my friends and family.

The biggest Mexican restaurant I”ve ever been to, with a coffee shop ! I was pleasantly surprised. Very cool place. They put alot of work into the massive building. Inside is beautiful.A little stream out front and all lit up. The decor is very cool. The chandelier at the entrance is beautiful . The menu has a lot of options. The service was fast and friendly. The chips and dip were some of the best around. The green sauce is like no other. I had the chimichanga with the child con carne sauce . The portions were large I had a togo box. Great wine selection & a separate bar area you can eat in. I was just in town for a couple day but will definitely find my way back here when I’m in town. We met the manager on the way out the door, he was sure to pose for as he said “the best pic yet “He was a great sport !

Food was ok, nothing great. My wife got the cheese enchiladas and I got the burritos. The charro beans had way too much Cilantro in them and was very overpowering. The rice was a little dry but tasted good. The meat in the burritos was ground so fine that it was like mush and was not seasoned well. The enchiladas weren’t bad. The chips and salsa were very good and on point. The service was excellent. Very attentive and kept drinks refilled. Food came out pretty quick as well. Sweet tea was not very sweet. A little overpriced for what we got.

This is an amazing restaurant. I had heard it was a very good place to eat Mexican food and wow it was all delicious. I live out of town, but it was worth the hour drive one way. The chips were very fresh, and the salsa was some of the very best I had ever had. I know this is true because a week later I am wishing I had a bowl of the green salsa. The portions are large, and the waitresses are friendly and make sure you dont need anything. This is a wonderful restaurant and one of the best ones I've been to in the past year. I'll be back!

Everything about Mamacita's is on point!! As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a friendly staff member who quickly sat us down. The atmosphere was wonderful, it's definitely a must see- from the beautiful chandler to the starry night sky ceiling! Kim was our waitress and I must say, the nicest and sweetest person! There are so many different choices on the menu that its hard to choose from🤗 and our plates were delicious with loads of flavor! Prices were decent and fair, especially for a plate full amazing food! I will always recommend Mamacita's, it's truly the best restaurant in town!

This is my first time trying Mexican food, and it serves as a great first time tryout! Taco was great with melted cheese, and the corn chip with sour cream is really good, too! However, there is a strange flavor in rice which I don’t really like, but all in all, is a great restaurant to give it a try! We like the inner decoration of this restaurant especially, just like a small but luxurious palace!

Once the finest restaurant in Kerrvile, sadly, Mamacita's has gone downhill. We waited 25 minutes after our reservation for a table. The claw machine still advertises pigs yet contains only balls, at $1 per chance. Once finally seated on a hot Texas day, water was served only by request. Ice tea refills came only after request, and then slowly, and the wrong type (sweet/unsweet) as often as not. Those who were having beer or cocktails were never offered another. The server never inquired how the food was nor how we enjoyed the meal. The food itself was good, but nothing that amazing. The carnitas plate seemed to be mostly onions, but the pork that did exist underneath was tasty and well cooked. The salsas are good and plentiful. The tacos are large. So the food is brighter than the table service. When the check came (after much delay) the pre-set tip options are ludicrously high. Fortunately, the option to leave a custom tip does exist. I would go again in hopes tonight was an abberarion. Hopefully, they will at least restore the pigs to the claw machine.

This is a beautiful restaurant. We could tell the ingredients were fresh. I ordered the poblano. It had a lot of ground beef in it. I really couldn't taste the poblano, but it was decent. My friend ordered the flautas and it was delicious. The sopapilla were more like a bunuelo. Excellent crunchy taste with cinnamon, powdered sugar and honey. There's plenty of parking and the service was excellent. I'd stop by again.

The aqua fit and lap swim are amazing classes with fantastic cheerful coaches that make the classes fun for all and easy to take no matter your ability, they will gladly work with you! The entire facility reflects how much happiness the staff imparts to all arrivals,no matter what abilities.and they are all willing to assist in any way.

Our son goes here for summer camp. We don't have family here and thank GOD this place has availability. They take great care of the kiddos and the kiddos have lots of fun. Thank you, Boys and Girls Club. Thank you, Mrs. Hetzler .

This place is amazing right now its 10 bucks each session that last 2 hrs ...I even went down the water slide so many times was fun time for sure!!

We took our grandkids to swim. Seniors $12 , children $8. They had a BLAST on a hot July day. The Climbing Wall was a BIG Hit! They also appreciated the ice cream treat. Kids pool 1’ - 2’6”. You have to be 48” tall to use the big blue/green water slide. They aren’t there yet. The other pool was 3’6”-5’. Life jackets are allowed;however, no life jackets allowed in the 5’ section. Life guards present and attentive..

Making sure evry shelter had what they needed is not an easy task to facilitate and they've been working their fingers to the bone to make sure everything goes smoothly. We see you, and appreciate everything you've done.

Loved it!!! Was invited to a get together type of thing and took my kids there to the pool. Honestly i was wanting to jump in the whole time, the pool was really cool. Walking there to the pool, through the hallway, i saw a gym to work out and an indoor basketball court. All looked really neat. Im accually thinking about getting a membership there and my children, ages 1-3 loved it.

Gibson’s is a general store with the wide range of products. What I like about the store is the older candies, sodas, and toys from the past. Kind of like a throwback to the 50’s. Huge props for doing this. They have a lot of other artifacts, housewares, outdoor equipment, guns, in addition to hardware products and more stuff. I’m not trying to get political, but if you’re on the far right, you’ll love this store. If you’re not, you still might like some of the other interesting stuff this general store offers.

Omgosh I grew up in Austin and I remember this store. It takes me back to my childhood. Awesome store and the people that work there make it even more special. Always someone around the corner to help. I picked up a few things and was especially excited to see the Dr. Pepper display, bought 4-4packs. You never see these in the stores, made with real cane sugar. Oh and love the complimentary popcorn on the way out.

There's plenty of cool, interesting, and great items available here. The store has RV accessories, guns and ammo. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This place is an old-school five and dime type shop with full hardware store combined. Walking in the door is like a step back in time as far as the aesthetic the store. Which causes each trip to be a little visit down memory lane. Gibson’s is the opposite of Target or Walmart. This place is Main street USA. Please continue to support and patronize businesses such as these. I know it is still a chain store but it has a whole different feel than the big box style places.

I grew up going to this store whenever we visited my grandpa. It is pure nostalgia walking in through these doors — great prices and people! It just can’t be beat!

This store was amazing! We couldn’t believe the huge selection of products under one roof! Whether you need new underwear, or a box of shotgun shells, this place likely has it! Every member of the staff was super helpful and friendly, I wish more stores were like this. Such a refreshing change- from the big box stores that don’t know a thing about customer service.

Unique little hardware-general store... and they always have the best candy! Surprisingly, I also find cute, quality clothing here often as well - whoever their buyer is, they have great taste!

Great atmosphere, kids love playing in the water and climbing on the playground equipment. Swings are always a plus!

Great park tons of space. Parking can look kind of sparse depending on where you are coming from. The biggest downside was the huge fire ants. They were everywhere. My kids kept getting bitten. I do wish that the parks and rec crew would fix that.

Great covered playground, fun interactive splash pad, basketball court, small walking path all close together.

We had enjoyable times at this little Park on our week-long vacation. We would however encourage the police department to drive by frequently during the evening hours. Very well kept and the rest room was clean. Good job Kerrville!

Just visited there with my family. The area looks very old & run down, new paint needed asap. Surrounded by old run down sketchy homes. One house is even condemned. Worst part, I literally watched a drug deal between two boys that were probably no older than 14. Wow. Don't recommend.

Nice but not big enough

I think of a park is a very fun place to be with family and friends there have been no trouble I totally disagree that is the worst Park in town because it's not and in fact I recommend Carver Park very strongly the people are nice most people doing their own thing the spray park the kids love so if you get a chance and you're in the neighborhood of the area go up to Carver Park I'm sure you would like it

This is my first year here. Has been an amazing experience and will be back next year. The only negative is that it seems there is a power struggle dynamic between leaders and it does kind of suck. Everything else is wonderful. :)

The great folks at the Kerrville Folk Festival opened their facilty to help serve 1st responders and volunteers breakfast, lunch, and diner. Phil was my main contact, and he is a wonderful human and extremely helpful. I was a small wheel in the machine of volunteers and resources donated to help support the recovery effort after the 4th of July flood. Thank you Folk Music Festival for being amazing host's and the generosity of your organization during this time is an example for all.

Day and evening concerts are enhanced with nightly, after concert, spontaneous "jamming sessions" in the campgrounds by staff musicians sharing their music and friendship! Something for everyone young and long time "Kerrvillians"

I have been attending off and on for almost forty years. It just keeps getting better.

It would be 5 stars but I am very disappointed at how generic the jewelry now looks. I've been wearing JA since I can remember. My mom's wedding ring in 1976 was an armadillo ring from JA. Over the years he produced many amazing pieces even when he got older the jewelry still looked like a James Avery just by the design. Unfortunately since his passing I've noticed how all the pieces look just like what's already out there. It's a shame that it's come to this. I am disappointed that my favorite jewelry maker is now alot like the rest out there. I've stopped buying pieces because of this. A lot of my friends have too. If anyone from JA Corporate office is reading this....PLEASE GO BACK TO BEING JAMES AVERY! Honor the brilliant man who started this company and make unique pieces that no one else has. That is what James Avery is all about!!!!

James Avery was my favorite jewelry store most of my life- until now. Customer service has gotten bad. Pricing is out of hand. Orders are either done wrong or slow too often. Designs have started looking generic. Quality has gotten worse. Sad that James Avery is another store turned into generic mass production of overpriced crap that’s not made well but costs a lot… along with useless customer service. So disappointing.

Quality! Wish I had a bottomless piggy bank! I always find something here to take home with me!!

First, I would like say that I have been to quite a few paintball fields. So, this is not an impulsive review on how much fun I had playing paintball for my first time. The main complaint I have had with other fields in the past are the fields are extremely strict, often leaving everyone feeling as if they are a liability. However, my trip to adrenaline this weekend was top notch. The owner was extremely down to earth and even went out of his way to help fix my gun. Rather than blow off my problem, which would have forced me to pay for a rental. Only their paint is allowed but paint is not to over priced and its how they make money. They are a small business and god knows we need them in america. Safety out on the field is stressed but like I said the place is down to earth. So rules were not expressed as a threat but instead an understaning that everyone needs to be safe and that "we are all friends at the end of the day". Signs are posted everywhere reminding players to keep masks on and barrel socks(they do not allow plugs) on so Keep them on! Overall, I would hands down recommended this place. Even though It an hour drive, you can bet im comming back. Oh and no restrooms, only a portapotty(ew) lol so go b4.
