The Bartolomeu Dias Museum Complex is a maritime site that offers a glimpse into Mossel Bay's early significance for European sailors. Named after the 15th-century Portuguese explorer, Bartholomeu Dias, the complex features a life-sized model of his sailing vessel and an aquarium. Visitors can start their journey at the museum shop, which showcases various souvenirs including handmade caravels.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much there was to see and experience at the Bartolomeu Dias Museum – all for just R10 entrance! The variety of exhibits was impressive, from the maritime displays to the Shell Museum, and even the historic Post Office Tree. It’s such a well-kept, informative, and peaceful place, perfect for both adults and kids. One of the highlights was the life-size replica of Dias’s caravel – even though we couldn't go on board, it was still awe-inspiring to see up close. The ethnobotanical garden added a lovely natural touch to the visit, and the aquarium with live molluscs was fascinating. Overall, this museum offers incredible value and a great way to spend a few hours soaking in some local history and nature. Highly recommend it to anyone passing through Mosslbay 👌🏻

5/5 Stars - A Must-Visit for History and Art Lovers! The Diaz Museum in Mossel Bay is an absolute gem! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I was particularly captivated by the impressive collection of paintings and the intricately detailed ship models, which truly bring the history of maritime exploration to life. It's a wonderful place to spend a few hours immersing yourself in the rich heritage of the region. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an engaging and informative experience, especially if you appreciate art and historical artifacts!

It was fantastic. Loved the curio shop. The history and the well maintained Aquarium. Overall a wonderful experience after many years. Kids also loved it.
Askmonique S — Google review
We visited the Bartolomeu Dias Museum in Mossel Bay and really enjoyed it. The grounds are spacious and beautifully maintained, and the exhibits are well presented. We especially loved the shell museum and the life-size replica of Dias’s caravel — both are fascinating and worth seeing. The museum offers a great mix of history and natural beauty, and it’s easy to spend a few relaxing hours exploring. The only small downside was that the ladies’ bathroom didn’t have toilet paper, but otherwise everything was excellent. Definitely worth a stop if you’re travelling the Garden Route — a well-run and interesting museum with lots to see and learn.
Alet P — Google review
I was very pleasantly surprised by this museum. From the outside, it looks quite unassuming, but there’s so much more than meets the eye. Inside, everything is neat, well-maintained, and thoughtfully presented. The maritime museum is packed with fascinating information, and the shell museum was an unexpected highlight—with a fun mix of aquarium exhibits and display cases showcasing an incredible variety of shells. A great experience overall!
Melissa G — Google review
The Diaz Museum is situated at Mossel Bay, great collection and very rich in history. If you like the history, this is place you must visit.
Gavin K — Google review
Not too badly priced to enter. Very well maintained with an additional aquarium and shell exhibit. Beautiful gardens and very educational. Well worth a visit. Id highly recommend coming here
Duwayne P — Google review
Enjoyed our visit to the museum! Lots of information available, however feel this a opportunity missed. There are so much more that can be done to make the museum more interactive and maybe add a “show” factor to it. It is a stage screaming for a production and the facilities are there, it should just be made use of! But overall a great visit for history lovers!

Breakfast restaurant
Delfinos Seaside Restaurant is a popular beachfront spot in Mossel Bay, South Africa. It offers direct access to the beach and has a play area for kids nearby. The restaurant is known for its early opening hours and late closing times, making it a great option for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Sit on the deck on a sunny day and enjoy the beautiful views while indulging in some delicious food. It's conveniently located near Cape St.
This is a must visit. We drove from George to here and definitely I would do it again. At night time in the week we need not to book, to sit inside it might be recommended. The views earlier surely are must be magnificent. The food was devine: the fish is super and not as thin as the 1cm thick you can by in any box, it is proper fish. We all hate the special, except my husband had a steak. 7/10 The mushroom , chicken and calamari platter was great, if there was a option for fish or chicken I would chose the fish on this platter. The pizza also was looking very special.
Es* L — Google review
Delfinios is always a must-visit for us whenever we're in town. The vast menu features delicious food and exceptional cocktails that cater to every palate. Please just try the lemon meringue. It tastes heavenly. I would like to extend a huge compliment to Mandie, the hands-on manager. Whenever she is on duty, everything runs smoothly. Her presence ensures that nothing ever goes awry during her shifts. The food at Delfinios is consistently great, and the drinks are served ice-cold. An added bonus is that dogs are super welcome, making it a perfect spot for pet owners. And let’s not forget the stunning ocean vistas that enhance the dining experience.

Loved the food here. Tasted good and I could tell fresh ingredients were used. Service was great, friendly staff and food arrived pretty quickly. Great view of the beach!

A week long holiday for us in Hartenbos. We took a drive to Mossel Bay and stopped at Delfinos for lunch. It was busy, school holidays for the end week of April 25. The setting is amazing. The view the best. I had the chicken trammezini which i do not recommend. Hubbie had the burger which was absolutely 💯. The patty was hand made and the salad good. I had a pina colada cocktail. He had a huge glass of beer. The service was very slow. Waited 30 minutes for our meal. We did not mind. The view was great. Our little doggie was allowed. Th e waitress was kind, seemed worried about why I was not eating. There is however a huge variety on the menu. A bit pricy, but I suppose worth it for the size of the meal.
Sybz S — Google review
Went there for supper with the family. Not a good experience. Wouldn't go back when there are so many other great places along the south shore. Why? Well, the food took the better part of an hour to come out. When we asked how much longer the food would be, the pizzas the kids had ordered came out and had clearly been ready for a while. Luke warm and the cheese had re-solidified. They're kids, so they didn't really notice. The pasta my wife ordered was just frozen prawn meat and (pretty sure) sauce from a pouch or bottle. No feta as the menu claimed, over salted and not delicious. First meal she hasn't finished on this vacation. My Hake and chips were delicious, it's just that that's not what I ordered. I took it anyway because it had already been so long and it was fresh and really good, that why this is a 2 star review and not a 1 star review.
Stephen D — Google review
Beautiful place, amazing sea view and good service and tasty food.
Christo G — Google review
Come here everytime we visit the area. View is good and the kids love the rockpools on the beach walking distance from the deck. Wide selection of food aswell
Monache R — Google review
Food, ambience and service each get a single star. Our food took a very long time and when it arrived it was evident the pizza had been sitting for a while as the cheese had cooled and congealed. Our server delivered an unopened bottle of wine and when we asked her to open it she just gave us the corkscrew. Same with water - she just sat a large bottle of water and some glasses at the end of the table. The seafood pasta was just frozen shrimp and bottled sauce. It was not delicious. My husband enjoyed his hake and chips, though it wasn’t what he ordered. We weren’t hungry when we left - that’s the most positive thing to say about the dining experience.

3Diaz Water Park

Water park
Diaz Water Park is a fantastic family-friendly destination, especially during the warm summer months. The park offers various supertube rides for an exhilarating experience. Additionally, visitors can enjoy heated pools during the colder seasons. Established in 1982, this beloved family business has been a favorite among Western Cape families for generations. Located in Mossel Bay, it provides ample seating and is conveniently situated next to the beach.
We visited Dias Water Park over the Easter weekend, so it was quite busy. We paid R170 per person for the afternoon session and stayed for about an hour.Unfortunately, the weather changed suddenly, so we didn’t get to try all the rides — but we still enjoyed the few we managed to go on. There were plenty of helpers stationed throughout the park, which was great for safety and guidance. The food trucks on site were a nice surprise with great options. We didn’t make use of the bathroom facilities, so can’t comment on that. Overall, a fun visit despite the weather.
Tilana M — Google review
A really nice smallish waterpark. There are only about 6 rides, but they’re pretty enjoyable, the majority of which are using a large doughnut tube to ride. Lots of fun for kids and adults with small kid rides as well as more exhilarating free fall rides for grownups. Toilets could use with some TLC and soap and the areas around the slides could use with a cleanup to remove sludge buildup. But otherwise, a good spot to go that isn’t filled with too many people. Price is a bit steep at R250pp but overall I think it’s a spot I’d actually recommend.
Posh B — Google review
Simply disgusting! Our visit to Diaz Water Park was unfortunately a complete disaster. We wanted to treat our children and, based on the pictures from Google Maps, expected a well-maintained water park. Unfortunately, that was far from the case. The entire facility is in an extremely neglected state. This includes the toilets, the slides, the stairs, and the picnic area by the toddler pool. The toddler area was the worst. There was a lot of bird droppings on and in the pool. The water had a brownish tint that was more repulsive than inviting. In the picnic area, there was a damaged bench with a screw sticking out. All of this in the toddler area. This is dangerous and hazardous to health! I confronted the manager about it. He just shrugged his shoulders about the bench and the screw. His response to the bird droppings in the pool was, "I can't do anything about nature. I'd have to clean the pools every day." I completely agreed with him: he should clean the pools every day. The water was simply disgusting. While there was less droppings in the other areas, they didn't seem clean either. Safety standards are also lacking. Staff only appear sporadically at the slides to help and check if everyone is following the rules of conduct. This is also dangerous and grossly negligent. I also find it concerning that there is a slide with a run-out zone that is 1.20m deep. However, if you slide down on a ring, you easily glide on the water into the area where the pool is 3m deep – a life-threatening danger for non-swimmers! The so-called "Lazy River" is also not for lazy people. If you don't paddle yourself, you either have to hope that an employee is nearby to pull you along with a wooden pole, or you'll circle in a whirlpool forever and never reach the end. Furthermore, the facility offers neither changing areas, so you have to change in the dirty and run-down toilets, nor are there lockers for valuables. All in all, a thoroughly disappointing and not recommended experience.
Martin Z — Google review
Great fun! When you are planning a visit, just be aware that the park closes 5pm, not 6pm. The info on the webpage is incorrect.
Anel Z — Google review
This water park used to be one of the best...however shockingly upon our visit we could see the decay, worst is that the water is green. I hope that they will give it a good overhaul during the winter months.
Patrick B — Google review
We had a blast of a time - 40 and 60 year old adults feeling like children again. Only reason I am scoring a 4-star is seeing gow the owner was screaming and swearing at some of the employees. He didn't notice us, as a few minutes later, he was welcoming us with his dog. Apart from that, it was amazing
Chantal T — Google review
What a an amazing place. We had so much fun. The lifeguards were on top form and kept us all safe a the time. Helping us with the little ones. Buying a season ticket is real value for money. Keep up the good work.
Jackie D — Google review
We visited Diaz Water Park with the kids over Easter Weekend. Diaz Waterpark in dire need of some TLC. The amount we paid should then get clean and clear (blue) water. Life Savers and or helpers should be improved as many areas the swimmers got to many in one area and normal visitors needed to assist.( The lazy river slides). Bathrooms can get overhaul and be cleaned regularly. Especially asking R25 per visitor not swimming. Please add more seating capacity and shade, this also can be improved as this is terrible setup.

From year-round Seal Island tours to sunset cruises, boat-based whale watching, and eco-safaris, there's something for everyone. Visitors have praised the friendly staff and the breathtaking experience of witnessing thousands of seals and their babies at Seal Island.
We did the sunset cruise. Was magical and amazing. Went through the bay and past seal island. The crew are very knowledgeable and friendly. Was worth every penny. Drinks are affordable onboard and the yacht has toilets and very comfortable cruising. Well worth it
Duwayne P — Google review
We came in the "off season" of sorts. Light rain experienced the evening before but great weather on the day of. We expected the trip to be cancelled but we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely weather and beautiful sights. Filling in the indemnity forms were quick and painless. The lady at the office was nice. The "guide" was incredibly nice and personable. He made sure that we were comfortable and had optimal seating for the trip. There was no real "tour" provided, just a cruise out of the harbour to seal island and back but it was serene and enjoyable. We thought it was worth the money. No complaints here. We booked the night before but the other guests booked just before the tour started so no recommendations on what works best.

The staff is super friendly and helpfull. Guided tour around the island well worth it. Saw some cute baby hammerhead sharks

Wonderful experience and extremely friendly staff members. Enjoyed the trip to seal island.

What a wonderful experience. We did the sunset cruise. I was nervous about getting sea sick. Fortunately, the sea was extremely calm with small swells. The veiws are spectacular. A great way to end off the day.
Gavin C — Google review
Great way to spend 2 hours out at sea. Beautiful views, cash bar on board. Worth the R450 per person to experience Mossel Bay. Stopped and had dinner afterwards at one of the many restaurants.
Nicky R — Google review
A great two hour boat cruise, led by Captain Lee and the Romonza crew. It was an absolute blast of a trip. The Shark and Seal sightings were very special. The crew were safety conscious and really hospitable. An absolute must to do when in the Mosselbay area.
Ashwell G — Google review
We enjoyed the 1-hour boat tour to the seal island. The people were kind, also to our kids. We saw a lot of seal and the smell was one of a kind. The sea water splashing over us was refreshing!

Restaurant
Nestled in Mossel Bay's harbor, Kaai 4 Braai Restaurant offers a casual and quirky dining experience with breathtaking views. The restaurant revolves around a large fire where guests can savor over 14 Roosterkoek fillings and South African favorites like braaivleis and potjiekos.
If you love a delish "rooster koek" then this is the eatery to go to. Many varieties to choose from with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Add Kaai 4 to your list of restaurants to visit.
Leon P — Google review
Avoid. Really bad food, ordered garlic mussels - mussels weren't fresh, definitely off! White sauce was like a brick of flour, no flavour, no garlic nor butter. I actually had to leave the entire plate which I never usually do. Roosterkoek okay, curry has no spice just sugar, I probably wouldn't have ate if I hadn't been so hungry. Service is slow, yet food comes cold. Technically I didn't order the second dish the guy just misunderstood me or just wasn't paying attention when I ordered 🤷🏼‍♀️ I said 'do you choose a roosterkoek sandwich with it as a side?' he said yes. So overcharged as well to add to it all. The braai was okay. Lamb chops were cooked well though - again no seasoning. The actual roosterkoek bread was good though.
Jennifer R — Google review
I had an amazing experience indeed especially after a long day and week it was so relaxing to see the amazing sunset view and ocean❤️🌊 It makes me admire the gift of Life More than ever! The fish and chips what just amazing it has made me satisfied😊 and the staff is just friendly and professional.
Genevieve D — Google review
If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, this restaurant is an absolute gem. From the moment you step in, you're enveloped in a great vibe that sets the tone for the entire meal. The food is nothing short of extraordinary. Despite the long wait, which is a testament to its popularity, the service remains top-notch, ensuring you feel valued and well taken care of throughout your visit. It's truly regrettable that we only discovered this culinary treasure now, but it's certainly better late than never...
Ansa — Google review
What a nice restaurant, you'll need to embrace the theme though. No waiters and food is based on "braai brood". There is a big variety, so something for all hungers. Seating is as close to the sea as you can get and the braai broodjies are outstanding. Crockery is enamel, even the "wine glasses" and that's part of the fun. Had a great dinner there. Definitely one of those places that you really should try.
Dave M — Google review
A charming open-air restaurant right by the sea, with a unique ambiance where you walk and sit on sea sand. The constant fire adds a cozy touch, and they make fresh roosterkoek on it, which was delicious and perfectly filled. The curry mince was amazing—flavorful without being too spicy. There are no waiters; you order at the front, and they bring the food to you. The experience feels like stepping back in time, especially drinking wine from metal cups and enjoying fresh, hearty food. There's a small play area for kids, and the view of the sea is lovely. You can even take a boat ride from here. A wonderful spot for a relaxed, nostalgic meal by the ocean!
Rochelle F — Google review
Must visit, great spot on the water. Roosterkoek is fresh and tasty. Ample seating and great views all around. Self service, order at counter and food will be brought to your table. Unique experience in Mosselbay.
Nadia J — Google review
Food not very tasty, have to order at the bar, took 30mins to be served. Don’t expect too much, therefore too expensive. Basic locals drinking beer from plastic cups, but location directly at the harbour is nice.

Stars Restaurant is a popular dining spot in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, offering a diverse menu with options like pizza and Israeli cuisine. The restaurant provides indoor and outdoor dining spaces, allowing guests to enjoy stunning views of the bay and the Outeniqua Mountain range. It's an ideal choice for groups, families, and sports enthusiasts looking for delicious food and a scenic atmosphere along the Garden Route.
Nice spot with a great view. It is however a pity that they changed the menu completely, with limited options and you need to self service,no more waiters. It takes away the vibe of the place.

Lovely ribs, my partner in crime had the burger which was most enjoyable. Wandered of to the wine section and was assisted by a very welcoming young gentleman and ended up purchasing 6 bottles of wine! Definitely worth a visit and will be back soon!

I really enjoyed the food. The flavour of the food was absolutely amazing and you can't stop eating. Service was excellent.
Jaun — Google review
I've always enjoyed eating here until today, hoping it was just our selection. Coffee was superb, service great, view breathtaking but our meals were disappointing. I ordered the Butternut &halloumi salad and the brinjal bake. Salad ingredients were wonderful but the warm wet iceberg lettuce on which it lay on really let this dish down. The brinjal bake was odd, mostly mozzarella cheese but there were slices of uncooked tomato and the brinjal was coated but soggy so why coat it? Idk. Didnt have more than 2 bites. The vegan pizza cost total R180 (gluten free base R25 but avo, green pepper and mushrooms was an additional R65) just not worth the money. I would return but will stick with safer bets like breakfast or burger.
Deborah W — Google review
A family Restaurant with a menu that offers mouthwatering meals at affordable prices. And if you book beforehand you can have a table with sea view. Winelist at cellar prices. The pizza was the best I had in months. More than enough topping with plenty asparagus and olives. Ended the meal with a waffle and ice cream. A memorable evening

A fairly big space, tastefully divided into sections to cater for individuals or groups. Interiors feature a collection of wall and decor finishes, creating an interesting atmosphere. The restaurant retains the enchanting old-world stonework while introducing rustic and Greek-inspired decor, creating an inviting atmosphere for locals and visitors alike. The worst steak I have ever had. The only thing worth eating on the plate was the chips. Pizza was so chewy they should rather call it seafood toffee. Service was really slow too. Great location on the beach though. Enjoy your drinks there but stay away from the food
Marilize F — Google review
The setting and view was amazing. The wine and beer good. Unfortunately there were no appletizers or grapetizers or fruit juices for children. No dry sparklimg wine either????? I ordered Chilli poppers which are incorrectly named. They are actually deep-fried cheese balls with 3 thins slices of chilli inside. I am really disappointed.....even after asking the waitress beforehand if they were proper chilli poppers. The waitress was also disinterested in her job. So sad....as we were very excited to try out such a beautiful location. I think they are riding off their location. Would definitely not go back.

Location 10/10 However Location does not cover the service we had. We were a group of around 15 and sadly we were not impressed we had issues from the time we tried booking up until the very end. Their only saving grace that day was a stunning waiter we had whose name I unfortunately cannot remember but this gentleman was helpful and friendly and went out of his way to help us. The team can learn from him how to not have a attitude when guests request basic information or basic service it's sad because such a beautiful place will never see us again , neither will I think any of us recommend to anyone else.

This is an amazing play for little kids. My 18Months old loved every moment. There are child minders looking after the kiddos and sliding with the little ones. Absolutely a must when you are in the area

Was maybe a good place years ago, but maintenance is far behind. Nothing works, everything's coin operated and staff are unable to give you the correct R5 for the machines to work. Roof is falling apart and you can see the basement through the flooring
Lothian B — Google review
Food was delicious. Some of it just a bit expensive. Can't pre-book to ensure you have a place when you are on your way there. It was really really busy, but we had to go and ask for a waiter, multiple times. Because it is so busy, we wanted to just go to the bar and get drinks, but apparantly thats not allowed. Ladies toilets are very bad, only 2 of the 4 have seats. Unfortunately the arcade games can only work with the new R2, and none were available, so that also understandable, so just ensure you take some with you. It has very great potential, and can atleast keep the kids busy when it is raining. The managers were very helpful and trying to accommodate us. Just little stuff that needs a bit of attention.

Went with my 20month old on a Friday at midday. Was very quiet initially and we had the soft play area to ourselves the entire time. R65 entrance fee for under 3s (parents don’t pay) and everything was clean. The staff were also friendly. Could do with some maintenance for aesthetics.

A nice indoor place to take little ones on a cold day. They have staff on in the softplay area and staff attending to adults on the floor. I was asked if i'd like to order something and asked for a coffee which came in a good presentation and the biscuit was delicious. The price is a good one!

01 Sept 2025 Stayed overnight in a 4- sleeper rondawel. 2 sleeper rondawels not available, although vast majority of the rondawels were not occupied. Linen was clean and bed comfortable. However unit was not well cleaned. Bathroom floor was dirty and induction plate so dirty one could write one's name in the dust. Suited us, apart from the lack of cleanliness, for overnight. Would not recommend for 4 people as no sitting area other than at kitchen table or outside. TV above microwave. Would be crowded if weather bad. Of the opinion this was a 2 sleeper unit converted to a 4 sleeper.
Barbara H — Google review
AKTV Hartenbos offered an overall awesome stay with a few notable highlights. The cleanliness of the accommodation was commendable, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. The standout feature was undoubtedly the breathtaking views that added an extra layer of enjoyment to the entire experience. Families with kids will appreciate the excellent swimming facilities tailored for the younger guests. The real gem, however, was the impressive put-put course, which stood out as the best course that I had ever encountered. This added a fun and engaging recreational element to the stay. While the majority of the experience was positive, there was a slight drawback concerning the warm pools. They were not as warm as expected and did not quite match the standards experienced elsewhere at other AKTV resorts. Despite this minor issue, the overall positive aspects of AKTV Hartenbos, including cleanliness, stunning views, and outstanding recreational facilities, make it a recommended choice for families or anyone seeking a delightful getaway.

There's a special feeling when you return to Hartenbos after years. It's like we never left, always feeling like coming home. We're consistently surprised and delighted by how clean, secure, and wonderfully maintained the place is. Great camp ground. Easy walk to the beach. No problems with security while we were there. Service by staff is generally very good. They could just add additional patrols to keep unruly campers in-check. Great experience ruined by idiots who have no regards for other campers
Andre O — Google review
Very disappointed, drove 1400 km to have a quiet and relaxing camping experience, only to find some locals use it for cheap long term accomodation (up to 11 months a year), turning it into a part squatter camp. The machinery used, sometimes makes it sound like a furniture workshop at one campsite. The people created a pest by feeding the pigeons, and management seems oblivious in this regard.
Shanre D — Google review
Not impress with rooms at all for that price.. I also did not get pensioners discout although i booked through their website..apparently you must not book online if you want discount even if you stay 2000km away.

The resort also features modern ablution facilities, a scullery, and laundry services. Additionally, self-catering chalets are available for accommodation. What a pleasant experience in Hartenbos. Campsite and ablution facilities were immaculate and well maintained. All sites have level paving slab and grassed with water and plug points. Management and staff were friendly and welcoming at all times. Rates were good versus other local caravan parks. Short 1km walk to the Hartenbos main beach. No road traffic or neighborhood noise!!

We visited the resort 3 - 11 Jan'25. First time there; what a pleasant surprise. Chalets are fully equipped and has braai facilities. The beds are of good quality; sleapt like a baby. Kitchen is equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Bathroom is spacious and clean; towels were also supplied. They have a lovely bar; braai and swim area with a library with 100's of books to borrow. But most of all the owners are very involved in the daily run of things and we received exceptional service. It is quite and very safe and not crowded. There are plenty of place for the kids to play. Only a short walk to the lagoon and Hartenbos main beach. We loved it there and wouldn't highly recommend it to anyone. We surely will be going again.

The farmstall features a charming meat shop with various meal options like hamburgers and curries—though portions may be on the smaller side.
DO NOT MISS if you are in town or driving through! We stopped for some sandwiches that were literally heaven! This place has absolutely everything from wine & pizza to freshly baked goods, places for the kids to play and much more.

Amazing stop of the N2 close to Kleinbrak. The bakery offers a big selection of baked goods and coffee and great prices, the butchery has amazing Lamb curry and we did a wonderful wine tasting at Van Loveren . There is also a pizza and beer place that looks good. The best part though is there is a great kiddie area and bike park that offers excellent entertainment for the kids. Worth the stop if you are driving past , but also worth driving out there for a little outing.

This is a great farmstall to visit. Fresh delicious pies, baked fresh every morning. Fresh bread baked every morning in so many variants. Then they have fresh cakes. Delicious cookies. Freshly brewed coffee. Homemade ice cream. Van Loveren wines. Freshly baked pizzas. Fresh meat shop. The ambiance is next level. This is a must visit bucket list place on the Southern Cape.

The little meat shop at Klipheuwel offers a few meal options, like Hamburger and Chips, Fish and Chips, Lamb curry and rice, Mince curry and rice, Port neck burger and Chips. The portion however are a little small...certainly not for the very hungry person. We ordered the Mince curry and rice (A lot of rice but honestly not a lot of meat) and the Pork neck burger and Chips (The Pork was 'pulled' pork...so don't expect a solid piece of meat...and there were only a few pieces of chips) The shop was very busy and people didn't know who is in a que to order and who is waiting for their food that has already been ordered(as there are no waiters...one must come and ask every now and then if your order is ready). It will definitely help to have some waiters and not let everyone stand around in the shop, waiting to place orders or waiting for collecting of orders.

Dragon Dune Sandboarding, located in the coastal region of Mossel Bay, South Africa, offers an exhilarating sandboarding experience. Similar to snowboarding, participants stand on a board with both feet secured and slide down the sandy dunes. The tour guides provide clear instructions, making it suitable for all experience levels. The highlight is conquering the challenging Dragon Dune and testing endurance while climbing back up. Visitors recommend enjoying this adventure early in the morning to avoid extreme heat and excessive sand exposure.
Always an awesome experience! This was our second time here and will come back again. Leon is very knowledgeable and makes the trip really fun. Beautiful scenery and great opportunity to capture stunning action photos.
Dean O — Google review
We did the sandsurfing on the Dragon Dune with Leon and we had a great time. After driving there, every person got two boards (a small and a big one) and a short introduction. The rest was learning by doing, always under supervision of Leon and his colleague. It was definitely a fun activity and we don't regret doing it.
Stefan S — Google review

Phenomenal place! Well organized, fair prices, cool people! Would definitely recommend, a breathtaking experience. Be ready for steep return walks to the start of each dune 😅

Best experience ever.this is a must when in this area. Also no experience required as instructions given by our tour guide is clear and easy Sit back and enjoy the experience they provide. Last Dunn's called dragon dunn is also must for those whom are thrille seekers as the coming back up after that tests your endurance and fitness to the full extent. Would recommend this experience early in the morning and hopefully you'll have cloudy on the day. As this experience becomes hot and truly sandy. Dress comfortable easy going shoes for climbing and loads of water and something to boost your energy. Well done to our guides I truly enjoyed this experience and will highly recommend you and this experience to others in the future.

It’s impossible to get a hold of the number on the internet to get the necessary information to make a booking.
Clarise N — Google review
We had a great time - we weren't expecting anything amazing because of the reviews but were pleasantly surprised. The guides were super friendly and did absolutely everything they could to make sure everyone in the group had fun as there were some very non-sporty people with us, without taking away from the fun of those who could cope with something a bit more challenging. The wind picked up unexpectedly later in the day and it was clear the guide was doing everything he could to get us down the slopes as many times as possible - a reviewer said they only managed to do it 3 times but if that's true it's likely due to their own physical inability to walk up the dune more than 3 times! We managed to go up and down a dozen times at least, despite having to end the session early when a freak wind picked up and threatened to knock the roof off of the shack. The location is stunning, and the dunes are incredible - worth going even if you only do a few runs on the body board, just to check out this beautiful location.
Julian M — Google review
We really enjoyed it. Very kind guide. You should be fit though. Surfing the dune down is kind of easy and fast to learn. Which is good considering there is no lift and you have to climb the dune up by feet again. So each way down should be fun. All in all, we would recommend trying it.

Toasted sandwiches were tiny, and seriously overpriced! Not pet friendly. We had to order a take away, took ages even though it was early morning and they only had a handful of customers. Think it came with 10 chips, possibly less. Just an all around disappointment for a visitor from Cpt, where you expect to pay more for less. But that's not the case.♡cpt I can see the appeal to Santos in terms of location. It's a pity, we were very excited and hopeful for a good experience.
