The 27 best breakfast and brunch in Peterborough

I do like a good Carvery and this is a great example. Against Toby Carvery the meat portions are slightly smaller. But the desserts are the best, good value, tasty and big! Unlike Toby they also have proper horseradish sauce. It packs a punch. My only gripe is the meat, if you are later in the evening the meat selection will be poor. They are currently doing all you can eat. I came at 7pm, the beef was just finished, the gammon gone and only turkey left. I asked and there was no other meat coming. I don't think 7pm is late enough to justify that - especially as it was "all you can eat".

I sat at an outside table and was surprised by the heavy rain and stormy weather, so I asked the lady at the entrance to arrange a table for me inside. I was carrying food on heavy plates, but she vehemently refused to let me in, despite the presence of many tables. The embarrassing thing is that I tried to eat at the entrance in front of the customers who criticized the restaurant’s behavior towards us as if we were beggars. Her behavior was very ugly, and the restaurant deserves nothing less than one star.

The carvery was delicious, all cooked well. The meat was lovely and a variety of vegetables. Staff were friendly and helpful.

My main compliment is the fantastic service. During a summer busy summer visit we were met by a Donna (waitress) she was absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough to help me and my family. At the bar was met by a server called Sophie, she was kind and really friendly. Honestly the staff here couldn’t do enough for you and it’s obvious they are run off their feet at times but still make such a great effort. The food is really well priced and good quality. Thank you especially to Donna and Sophie for looking after us.

Brought my daughter for food, cold chips, cold onion rings, and cold pease. The only think warm was the fish. No one came to ask if the meal was okay, like they usually do. Not time to complain and didn’t want to ruin my daughters birthday and if I sent it back she’d be late to go to her dads.

Went in for some dessert and saw this sign when I walked in and waited for a bit incase a member of staff would come up. I then started walking to find a table, as the sign said to grab a table number, and a member of staff yelled from behind the bar to read the sign and wait for a member of staff to take me to a table. The member of staff, a man in a white shirt, used a very hostile tone and made us feel very unwelcome. Please check the sign is updated before shouting at customers. Very disappointing.

A great selection of foods and drinks for all the family. They have a good carvery and other offers that cover all dietary requirements with an amazing cake selection. I would say the steaks could be better sourced at sometimes it's hot and miss with the cut Recommended for families looking for somewhere to fill bellies for a good price. The staff are great, down to earth and welcoming. I have visited frequently and will be back.

Great place my daughther loves it The food on the Value Meals menu is incredibly good value. It's standard pub fare, always hot and well presented. Staff have a good and friendly attitude. Michelle is lovely and always makes us feel welcome. Play area is great We return often

Me and some friends dined at this restaurant on Wednesday evening,1st October, the atmosphere was lovely and the staff were friendly, helpful and happy, considering how busy they were. Our server Donna was fantastic, she was polite, bubbly, helpful and she took care of us all evening. I highly recommend this restaurant the food was amazing the customer service was phenomenal and I would go back and hopefully be served by Donna again, she was such a lovely person which made our dining experience thoroughly enjoyable.

Emma and Donna served me dinner with such warmth and genuine friendliness which is priceless and very rare these days in customer facing roles. No wonder the restaurant and bar is so popular. The main course was just what I would expect and much appreciated after a long day. The chap at the bar, Kev I think, was super friendly and helpful with a long, fast moving queue to manage. The reception young lady on 18 September around 9pm was fantastic as was the bearded ‘techie’ in the yellow jacket who installs your WiFi. Put air conditioning in the bedrooms and pick up the litter outside and clear the glasses outside from the night before and you will be rocking and rolling. Thank you

Hired for a 4th birthday party - Firstly we was told the party was at 12 o’clock ( we booked in Feb for September) - the party was actually booked for 2:30 which we found out a week prior - no allergens was asked or food was booked on booking - again sorted the week before And we had 1 child with allgery that I had to sort her food on party arrival - paid deposit - had also tried to tell me I haven’t paid the deposit as the lady who booked the party - Courtney - didn’t put it on their - Luckily we had the receipt from the deposit to prove we did -no invites received either Arrival at the party host ( Courtney again ) wasn’t happy to see us or inviting just grumpy like she didn’t want to be their - or interact with us she kept wondering off for ages didn’t “ host “ Luckily we had another staff member attending the party ( who was not the host or working ) Courtney never told us food was out or it was coming … never shouted the kids or even communicated with the party members to say food is okay to eat now ( Michelle , staff member ) called all the kids over , again Courtney was no where to be seen , .. A child was sick on the soft play , where was Courtney .. no where we had to get all the children off the soft play , and we was waiting around 10 minuets for her to come back , luckily again Michelle was their to sort it out and clean it up for the kids to go back playing Michelle cleared up the party and tidied up all the mess from the food as Courtney was no where , not doing her job She was the host and did absolutely nothing it wasn’t great … she wanted us out by 4;30 .. we wouldn’t have been out by 4:30 if Michelle didn’t HOST The party on her day off And I had to wait around 10 mins after 4;30 to pay the bill to be able to leave as Courtney had wondered off again I wouldn’t recommend booking a party if Courtney is the host as she doesn’t interact with the guests, and very grumpy - smile women I had other parents asking me where the party host was or even who she was and I didn’t know as we barley saw her Al thought the children had a great time and enjoyed the food and soft play and they didn’t realise the host was PANTS , and I would book here again - just if I can request a different party host ! If anyone books a party here - michele clearly knows her job role And thanks to her being their the party run smooth - if she didn’t attend I would probably still be their sorting everything out myself as the host clearly didn’t know how do it Thanks

Lol 😆 never able to cook an egg, been coming every week for over a year now and although the food can be a little hit and miss, the staff are very friendly and helpful, well the female staff anyway. The male managers do not listen and you have to repeat yourself several times. Michelle is brilliant. So friendly and makes you feel like part of the family.

Good carvery! Even though they were low on the meat available, they did everything they could to make it a good experience The hostess was exceptionally helpful and found us a nice table for our meal. We enjoyed going and will be back. Cheers!

We had a Sunday meal as a party of 7 and all of had the roast dinner. There is a good choice of meat, beef, turkey or gammon which is served by the chef. Then it's help yourself to a wide variety of veg. Everything was well cooked albeit not very hot. The service was excellent and was very good value for money. Recommended.

Me and my friend dined here one evening after arriving we were made to feel very welcome and were given a choice of tables to sit at which was nice. The lovely Bethany was our waitress and did a great job attending to us. The Set menu (Carvery and Desert)we choose was a great price and we were very satisfied with the food. This was the first time we have dined here and will definitely be returning!

Noel, Jodi and Fran were very lovely today at Tony’s Carvery, we had a really nice time and the atmosphere was great partly due to their friendly and approachable attitudes! They were very good with allergies too.

Went for lunch today 10.09.25 and had a great time. From the food to the service everything and everyone was great. Got to point out that the staff there really do make you feel at home, very friendly and helpful. Credit where credit is due.

We had lunch today. The lovely Zoe served us and she was fabulous from the moment we arrived. Attentive but not overbearing. We had the carvery and the gentleman serving was brilliant and was really great with the children, playing a little game with them. It's our first time here and we would come again. I had the lamb and my husband had the beef and both were excellent. We then had a few drinks outside which was lovely to finish the meal off. We were a little full after our mains but we will be back to explore the puddings. A really lovely first experience.

Delicious carbonara sauce and well-made seafood risotto. Ae enjoyed every bite of it. They were super generous with the guanciale. The staff is very friendly. Great hearty store for a weekend meal!

I took the Dog to the pamper parlour. So while I waited for her I decided to try this place for breakfast. It’s got an Italian vib on the menu. However they do a very nice Full English and a lovely cappuccino. I’ll definitely be going back whenever I take Molly to the groomers.

Amazing little hidden gem in Peterborough. Everything is made fresh and the pizza and pasta are to die for. The prices are low and the portions are very generous and incredibly tasty.

I liked the continental look of this restaurant, so visited for a meal, had a fantastic pizza calamari for a starter Very tasty Service top notch There is also a delicatessen, with a wide variety of meats, cheese etc on sale.

A really good place to stay, I went for the full english breakfast, it was delicious. As an Italian, I couldn't resist to order a fresh sandwich from their "salumeria".

A lovely spot for brunch. A slightly up market approach to breakfast left us feeling full and satisfied. A delicious breakfast and kind staff made us feel welcome and relaxed in this beautifully old building. Made our visit to Stilton worthwhile. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick coffee or a delicious breakfast. The dinner menu looked amazing and I wish I could have stayed for it. I hope you enjoy!

I love this hotel / coaching inn. It’s beautiful and historic with wonderful friendly helpful staff, especially Hannah. Just had a lovely supper. We know we will be having a great breakfast tomorrow because we’ve stayed here before. Stilton is so handy if you travelling up or down the A1. It’s not far to Stamford and many other places. This historic coaching inn is in what is now a quiet village is definitely worth a visit/ overnight stay.

Came to town for a wedding, allowed us to check in early for no extra charge. Upstairs room was quite hot even though it wasn’t a hot evening, but a fan was provided. Polite staff, nice selection of beers.

We had an excellent Sunday lunch upstairs at The Bell. The roasts were great - good portions - and the puddings finished us off (in a good way). We were served by the delightful Hannah and were looked after impeccably. Highly recommended.

This really is a gem of a place to eat stay or hold an event. We were there for a wake to celebrate a beloved friends life, and they did a fantastic job. The atmosphere was so cosy and calming. The hotel , as we had booked to stay the night was all you could want from a charming 15th century establishment. The place was oozing character. Everything in the room was emaculate. The bed comfortable, unsuite super duper. The shower was hot and pressure good. Complimentary tray was nice, and the evening meal menu was very good, and the prices for both the room meal and breakfast were very fair. The breakfast was amazing. It shows that you only get one sausage, bacon, egg etc, but you get 2! plenty of toast, and cereals fruits and juices. lovely little breakfast area. Everywhere you look there is something of interest. packed full of history. The seating areas outside are also lovely. Good off road carport. The staff were exceptionally friendly...I don't think you could ask for more. I just wish we were there under happier circumstances, but I'm so pleased the bereaved family held the wake here. It did them proud for sure. We are from north Wales but we're sure to stop here for a break when we visit the area as we have family abd friends not to far away. Thank you very much to the proprietor and staff .

I have left a 2 star purely on the attitude of the female manager I came in for a coffee on my own and just sat taking everything in and relaxing . This manager was not welcoming one bit and had a face like thunder didn't make any eye contact and I athought she must be just having a bad day but still .. I witnessed her talking to her staff (who I must say have always been extremely friendly even under such pressure in what is sometimes a very busy and demanding setting as I have witnessed during times I have visited with friends and family on previous occasions) very abruptly which is such a shame as the staff appeared to have everything in hand but just kept getting moaned at. As being a manager of a busy setting myself I know only to well respect your staff create a good team you will get the most out of them. I found my experience this particularly day quite upsetting for those poor staff. Maybe this manager could do with some training herself 😪

£25 to park over night, get £3 off your food. I bought cottage pie peas and some chips (glad I got side of chips) costing £14 ask for it as a take away, got back to wagon food looks lovely however only hot thing was the chips. Maybe they should use my £25 to by a thermometer to test temperature of food before serving it up.

Popped in here for breakfast while staying in the area. Shop is in a central location, well presented and was clean on my visit. Staff were friendly and professional. Food (breakfast) came out in good time and was of lovely quality. Price point was decent too. Would recommend, thank you guys.

It's a really busy coffee shop. Good location, but not a coffee shop that I would return to. There is only one toilet, which is insufficient to accommodate the amount of customers. Aside from that, it was a long wait. It's hardly unexpected that it was unclean and there were no toilet papers. Will not be returning.

I visited the Costa Coffee branch in Peterborough today and ordered the gluten-free mozzarella & pesto toastie. Unfortunately, it was so overcooked it turned rock hard and completely inedible. I asked the staff to replace it, but they refused—even though they clearly burnt it. I left it on the table without eating. As someone with a gluten-free diet for health reasons, this was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Special dietary items should be handled with more care.

I'm a regular in here wit my kids , unfortunately since some staff members have changed the atmosphere has changed and children don't seem too welcome , admitted they can be a bit loud but that's them. The best people in there are Julie and Ellie , always customer friendly and very polite 👍🏼 my children tend to enjoy the new chocolate fudge brownie and when I ordered we was actually given 4 as they'd made too much

Great service and food. 3 members of staff working well together, one taking orders, one making drinks and one collecting empty cups etc. Only 2 people ahead of me served quickly so no wait.

For the cortado the milk was overheated so the drink was half froth. The barista topped it up and used a knife to remove the froth from the top. It was pouring over the glass on the outside. The coffee is burnt, and bitter so the grind is off. Cortado should come with napkin and spoon. It wasn't that busy so the drink could have been remade.

It's busy here. You will have to wait quite some time to get your drink at peak times. The seats quickly fill up so if you see one, sit! Other than that it's a typical Costa, if you like their coffee/drinks you'll like it here.

Absolutely appalling. First of all, the staff do not clean after customers it’s so dirty and cups, plates and rubbish are laying around on the tables not taking into account the next customers who will be coming in. In regard to the hot drinks. The milk is overheated so much that we burnt our tongues. We also had a biscoff cheesecake which tasted awful and disgusting, and tasted under done. This cheesecake tasted like raw eggs mixed with cheese. There were also fruit flies around the pastries. Overall such an unhygienic and dirty costa with careless staff.

Really friendly staff, only 1 person ahead of me in the queue. 3 members of staff, one on the till taking orders, one making drinks and the other cleaning tables. The Lady making the 4 small hot chocolates checked if any were for children and made two slightly cooler drinks for them.

Small but proper McDonalds, you get everything as you expected from this branch, specious comment eating area, Good for travellers. Just one this I find little problem which is wait time, if you order the food there you have to wait some time which can be annying if you not want to waste much time on service. Its not their fault but as its a busy service there are loads of customers ordering food.

Food was standard McDonalds but I wasn’t wowed by the service. Chips were cold and not great experience unfortunately. Good parking around and shared with a lot of other restaurants nearby

I had two caramel frappes from them of which 60% was filled with ice. I hardly had sips of frappe and it was all ice left in both the glasses. That is pure cheating. I know it's nothing to do with people working there. I am big fan of McDonald's but this one was too much..

Despite being stackes out busy, service was quick and all food piping hot, exactly as it was 2 weeks ago on our way to the ferry. Cleaned our table, saw a lady mopping the floor and a guy emptying bins. I rarely review fast food, but this was a demonstration on how well a McDonald's can be run. Brilliant

Rubbish - the wall mounted self service machines wouldn't work if you clicked 'check out as guest'. They would only work if you scanned their qr code and downloaded an app, which took the person next to me ages. Not fit for purpose and definitely not progress. Very poor customer experience. I went to 'Fresh' nearby. Ordered from a human and served immediately.

Dreadful. Rubbery fries. Bland double cheese burger. All barely room temperature. No excuse.

Good quick service. Tables cleaned before we sat down. The managing supervisor has visible staff management skills directing staff accordingly. Food temperature was just ok, not hot to standard. But I've had worse too! That said, food should always be hot to the required temperature and a cool down to taste if necessary!

Consistent quality of food and drink. A decent stop when on a cycle or motorcycle ride to the coast. Plenty of parking and place to sit outside. Staff were a bit moody when we came not long before closing time…

I walked up to the counter no “how can I help” not even a “hello” or a smile. Just a blank stare. I think the young girl needs a new job or really work on her customer service skills. Maybe she was having a bad day or maybe she’s just plain miserable. Avoid this Starbucks like the plague.

Where do I start. ?? Had to wait 5minutes before any kind of service and there wasn't any queuing. The two girls behind the coffee machine were cleaning and taking no notice of customers. There was a shortage of food on display which was at all pleasing, at least 4 tables had coffee cups and trays left on them and not tidyed away. And the floor hadn't been swept. There were three girls on from what I could see and 1 one doing dishwasher stuff and the other two bickering about something. Not very good CS. I do like to stop here most of the time but on this occasion Customer Service was poor to say the least..

Often come here as the food and service is good, however since the refurbishment has been done won't come back, the seats are hard, the lighting is far too bright and the whole concept of a relaxing coffee lounge doesn't feel good, it actually looks and feels like a hospital waiting room nit coming back.

Most polite Starbucks staff I've ever experienced. Coffee was good. Apparently the Ladies toilets left a bit to be desired but there were only the two staff, that I could see, on duty. It was very busy in the coffee shop so couldn't blame them.

Great little venue if you fancy a fry up during the day or a slice of cake. I went for the Full English plus an extra sausage with a latte this came upto £14 which is quite expensive for a small cafe not centrally located. The food was nice all served hot and there were a great selection of cakes and toasted sandwiches. I think for the price you pay it would be nice to have a bigger breakfast or more options available. There is limited controlled parking in the pub opposite and a touchscreen interface is available at the till to input your registration details Overall good atmosphere, nice food, steep prices

Been meaning to visit this place for ages and finally did over the Jubilee weekend. Did not disappoint. Lovely garden at the rear, great decor and great cake. Would highly recommend.

A delightful tea room with a nice range of food on offer and outstanding cake. There is a garden at the back where you can take your dog and they even gave him a bowl of water.

Simply fantastic . Good selection of everything you could possibly need from a great cuppa , to a breakfast all the way up to a full blown afternoon cream tea ! Even do take away cakes so what's not to like . Very friendly staff and love the 50's Diner style décor

Visited for lunch today as a treat for my daughters and their friend. Nice selection to choose from with the children going for the sandwich options. It was a good portion size for them and all were enjoyed. I opted for the hot sausage roll as the quiche wasn’t available (will be back to try it next time) which is possibly one of the best I have ever had. We finished off with some cake and again these were all very nice but the kids struggled with the portion size as they were very generous portions🤭 The scone with jam & cream won it for me though on this visit. An absolute gem of a place and somewhere we are lucky to have on our doorstep. This wasn’t our first visit and definitely won’t be our last!

Nipped in on my way through Werrington. Ordered a fudge tart, which was amazing, and a black coffee. It was very busy, but I was told there was plenty of room out back. The place opens out to a 50's style rock 'n' roll diner.

Received wrong items and missing some no customized options as well, not many products were in stock and was given ketchup that looked off and also the wrong dips were given. Edit after asking for the correct item I received the complete opposite asking for no cheese and sauce received only cheese and sauce, one job and you failed twice

Now they want you to buy food before using the toilet see photo. Still a total disaster zone, the place is not fit for purpose, too many delivery riders, order to table not working, short asian floor woman telling me it's my fault, and also telling the app is not very good, then getting all upset. The app doesn't work causing untold confusion when trying to order with the error code the fries were undercooked (replaced after a wait) really needs some adult management working here and probably security if you could find anyone brave enough.

Normally visit this site for our food, however the last 3 times I’ve been have been appalling! However this time ordered for delivery and missing items! Contacted them but nothing!! Food that came was cold, soggy and falling apart! No sauces, no straws!! won’t be ordering from this site again

Always full of homeless at breakfast asking for money, some sleeping there and changing clothes, staff simply accept it. Service is chaotic, slow but served with a smile, suppose that is something. Worst McDonalds in the country as I use them most days and travel all over for work.

Food is alright, service is terrible, mcflurry and milkshake machines always out of order. Staff mostly get my order wrong. If you want to get a nice mcdonalds experience do not go here

Hate too say but service here Wednesday just gone was terrible ordered a McFlurry and it ended up being a frappe and then ordered a crispy wrap and ended up being a grilled which i regretted eating as it was rank and chewie hate too say but romford/ shepherds bush ones was miles better by far

Had a bacon sandwich 10/10 thick sliced bacon and doorstep bread for £3.20 deal of the day. Used this tea bar for food in fengate for a number of years top quality 👌 food. Back again soon

Ordered the breakfast to go, I was visiting Peterborough for work and didn't have enough time to sit down and eat. I ended up eating the breakfast much later when it was cold but it was still good. The service was friendly and fast as was the food prep if I'm ever in that part of the world again I'll definitely be paying it another visit.

Food was perfectly cooked, but the bacon was very salty in my opinion and the price has shot up and now too expensive for what it is, where it is, and what you get

Update...its been 6 years since we have eaten here as we moved out of the country. Recently returned to the area on vacation and obvously had to go back for breakfast (twice)!!! Food was amazing as always, prices great and the owners still remembered me after all this time. Please stop by if your in the area and support this small business and these wonderful people. We like ASDA but will never shop there again because of the parking provider (ParkingEye). A few times, the app and website have not worked, we have been unable to pay for parking, and we have been fined. The provider ignores screenshots of the app not working and enforces the fine. A £100 parking charge just to buy some groceries is just not worth it.

3 times in a row ive been selected for an accuracy check on the scan and go. This is beyond derogatory and humiliating. The 1st time yes I added and removed items and that's understandable. 2nd time no missed items 3rd time tbe same . Does asda adopt a policy of assuming theft

This was my first time shopping at ASDA, and overall, it was a decent experience. The location is very convenient, and I appreciated the option to use a bike parking place — the basket made carrying things easy, just like in any other store. However, I did find that product availability was a bit limited, and it wasn’t always easy to find what I was looking for. Some sections felt a bit too close together, which made navigation slightly confusing. That said, since this was my first visit, I’m hopeful that things will feel more familiar and comfortable with time. I’ll definitely be giving it another try.

(A year ago 2023) One of the worst supermarket in town. Only two of the seven toilets were working, and they were filthy. The shelves were disorganised and messy. There was scarcely any staff on hand to assist. When I finally found one, he shrugged and said, "I have no idea where the item was." He continued doing whatever he was doing without trying to assist. (Today: 16 March 2024) Went back to the store a year later. The last photo was taken today. The toilets facilities have improved but no difference to food display.

If you want to carry your shopping home in a bin bag, shop here. They don't have bags so they give you a white bin bag. Mental. Apparently it's because people 'steal' bags. Ok, so they save £100000s on not hiring till staff and instead have 1 person on 10+ self checkouts but are complaining about people stealing a few bags.

Just went this morning to do weekly shop and once again a few shelves empty especially meat shelves there was no steak fresh cakes and bread and then we now wait until 10 00 for check out to open .

Shocking I love asda and there products but just wanted to put this on here I recently shopped at asda and half of your store has all the products priced wrong like it has the price ticket in front of it only then for it to be more expensive at the checkout and I had this issue on quite a few products sort your staff out and correct prices it is an offence to have products priced up wrong not happy at all with this standard

Padholme Road McDonald's in Boongate, Peterborough is absolutely smashing it. The food is always hot — not "lukewarm and sad chip" hot, but actual "fresh-out-the-fryer, burn-your-tongue-but-worth-it" hot. Service? Impeccable. The staff are so friendly, it's like they’re trying to adopt you. One young lad who served us the other day deserves a gold star — proper customer service pro. You don't see that kind of enthusiasm much anymore unless someone’s trying to sell you a sofa. Parking is plentiful, though if you've got a car the size of a tank, expect a bit of a squeeze. The place itself is done up really well — definitely one of the newer, sleek, spaceship-style McDonald's. It's clean, modern, and somehow makes you feel like you're in a futuristic burger haven. And the best bit? It’s FAST. Like, suspiciously fast. We blinked and our food was on the tray, piping hot. Some McDonald's forget the "fast" in fast food, but this one’s still got it. Honestly, if you're in the area and craving some nuggets or a cheeky cheeseburger, this is the spot. Hats off to the team — you're doing Ronald proud.

I stopped at this McDonald's last night while traveling to the East Coast. During my visit, I took advantage of the EV charging station in the parking lot to charge my car. I was particularly impressed by the size of this McDonald's. Apart from the one on International Drive in Orlando—the largest McDonald's in the world—this was one of the largest location I can recall visiting. While waiting for my vehicle to charge, I used the men's restroom, which was clean and well-maintained.

Going here is a last resort and I only will if I'm passing, am short on time and extremely hungry. This branch is not the worst I've been to, but it is far from the best, even with the bar being set so low when talking about McDonald's. Staff are mostly ambivalent towards visitors, not showing any signs of customer care. The food, even by McDonald's standards, is average with little care being put into how the burgers and wraps are constructed, the size of the fries portions is often much smaller than it should be and I once complained that a medium fries had less than half of what there should have been and the supervisor who had handed them to me less than 30 seconds before actually accused me of having eaten half of them, I'd not even left the counter.

Ordered mozzarella dippers - not available. Ordered macflurry - not available. Still had to stay in the drive through queue for 10 minutes despite them not having anything I ordered. What a shambles.

I am unsure of the appeal of MacDonald. I drop in whenever I pass by on my bike because it is adjacent to a route for cyclists. Although it is handy for me, I wish there was a nearby cafe I could visit. The only plus is its inexpensive coffee and ice cream. I only liked those few things. Other than that, there is nothing special about MacDonald. I ordered a decaffinated in one of my visits. When I asked the server if the coffee was decaffinated, she affirmed that it was. It kept me up for hours after I drank it, and I knew for sure that she wasn't being honest with me. I came back another time and ordered decaffinated coffee once again. I was informed this time that decaffinated coffee is not available in MacDonald. My suspicion that the other server wasn't being honest was confirmed.

I have both breakfast and lunch and evenings my ratings for the food is because your burgers are all over the place in the boxes, and some not cooked properly and cold sometimes especially the fries as well as they are left on the tray where they stand till they. Are more unless they are fresh out of the fryer the service is just as bad and the atmosphere is bad people waiting in queues while staff are talking about they love life’s or other rubbish-talking about they did the night before in the evenings it is really bad swearing and managers don’t give a monkeys

Great service and friendly staff. First time in a while that all food was hot even when the branch was quiet. Plenty of free parking and large restaurant with ample seating. Clean toilet area.

Really nice place to come and do some work or studying. Weekdays it's generally quite quiet up until about 12ish, which is nice because I like to get here bright and early. This Costa is open most days from 6am which is perfect for me as I'm a very early riser. Food and drinks are always nice, I love to have my Vanilla Hot Cocolate with a croissant 🥐 and a salted caramel brownie. The food here also always seems fresher than some of the other Costa's in PBO, maybe they get through a lot of stock as they must get busy in the day?. Staff very pleasant and friendly 💕. You get 3 hours free parking which is more than enough time if you're catching up with a friend ☕🍵

Love this costa. My local so use it regularly probably 2-3 times a week. Staff friendly. Drinks & food lovely. Mine a kids fav place to go. Looks lovely since the refit as well. But was still rather nice prior to that anway 👏🏻♥️

Milk was boiling over in the jug, I should have questioned it at the time, but this was way too hot, and didn't taste good at all. In addition even though I paid for a medium the cup was only half full. Been a costa fan forever, but would strongly NOT recommend this place. It's a drive through, although I went inside, and all three of the members of staff I saw had headsets on and we happily chatting away to themselves, I am guessing each other, as a customer at the drive through wouldn't have been chatting about the weekend! There was some muck (goodness knows what) on the lid when I got outside, so it would be sensible to keep a higher level of hygiene when handling lids as I was supposed to be drinking from it and couldn't. I bought a lemon tart that I had to throw away, the topping seemed all congealed and dull, the pastry was soft, which is definitely a no! Overall If I could have scored a minus I would have. spent £7 in total, and the coffee was half full and tasted bad and the cake was just rank! I am told the other cake I got (millionaires shortbread was good though).

Serendipitously stumbled upon this establishment, and what a fortuitous discovery it was. The coffee was exquisite, complemented by the congeniality of the staff, culminating in an altogether delightful ambiance. The service was impeccable, with the personnel exuding warmth and affability, frequently adorned with smiles. (I’m the one that comes in with the blue sunglasses!)

The staff here are more friendly than the Serpentine Green branch. This branch is more quiet so if you want to sit in and avoid big crowds, this is the place to come.

Staff are lovely, food is passable. However they are constantly out of stock and often even the things that are listed on the menu end up not being available and have to be substituted. A shame as it could be great.

Ordered pie and chips as fish and battered sausages were unavailable. Pie crust was like concrete I couldn't eat it as was afraid of breaking a tooth.

Absolutely every time I come here, the menu is always incomplete. They never have most of the meals. Cmon, the restaurant is inside a supermarket, I'm pretty sure you can get the ingredients pretty easy. They never have all the food of the menu. A shame cause I really enjoy other Morrisons Cafes

Had breakfast with my granddaughter and great grandson, didn’t like the ordering part, no interaction with a person, not good for anyone that isn’t savvy with ordering on a tablet, luckily granddaughter was with me. Didn’t wait very long for our food, had a bit of a problem with the drinks machine and the hot chocolate, second cup was just milk and hot water, was told that they would get some chocolate off of the shop floor, after a bit of a wait the machine rectified itself, chocolate off of the shop floor never materialised. Price of food reasonable and portion size was good, especially the kids portion

I came to this branch of Morrisons as it's quite local, and I don't usually have issues with the food or service. But alas, when I went last week, I was astonished at the customer service and food quality. I odered a all day breakfast and a hot drink. ( You can refill with hot drinks for free as long as you pay with the meal) What I got was substandard. Hash browns were soggy and burnt, but the egg was ok, though. Bacon was cold, and sausage was burnt, too. Sorry, no pictures. The customer service was "just" ok too. The tables were kept clean, which was good. It was all clean. Very disappointed, really, in the food quality.

Long wait with one person doing coffee's. Ordered smashed avocado and egg which was ready whilst I was still waiting for the coffee to be done. Reasonable size portion although bread was not sourdough as advertised, and it was all a little cold.

My mother's breakfast was Fried bread which was the thick crust. Mother couldn't eat it. Egg was overcooked, hash browns were too crispy. Sausage was ok, the half tomato looked like it was just heated up somewhere not sure how it was cooked. Bacon was too crispy, black pudding was ok texture but bit salty. I had small breakfast which was ok apart from the tomato.

Could improve on customer service and etiquettes. Please train your cashier on taking orders appropriately and in order of queue. People can’t just order over my shoulder when I’m first in line.

It was my first chaiwala experience in uk. When late night suddenly bcz of my birthday night. Ordered coffee, pink chai and a wrap. Everything thing was delicious. Wanted to sit inside but it was too cold in there and had to leave after 5 mints. Guy at counter was very friendly and professional. Recommended!

Very small tiny place, not ideal for sit-in as has no toilets only has 3 small tables inside which is tight seating. Was expecting a decent stop place for our journey from Dover to Edinburgh but hugely disappointed.

Chai was good, I usually eat and order from here but now the lady who is at the counter was not polite as well kept us waiting. Had to keepvl asking her, the ice cream arrived after 20 minutes. Wrap didn't have veggies too, had to keep asking for ketchup as the order was served without mayo or ketchup. 'We noted that they served others at table but we had to keep going to their counter to collect orders', 'very bias'

The food was absolutely delicious, offering a wide variety of authentic desi dishes. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy genuine traditional flavours.

Its nice ordinary place, street food is medium ok style and taste, the prestation as you can see is in this ridiculous food newspaper wrap; the naan sticks to the wrapper and peels of the naan layers and the internal fall out making the food experience messy. I think the food is frozen and heated up, my chicken shish felt and tastes not fresh, followed by process mint sauce, again not fresh. Such is the food nowadays 🤔

Stopped here for Lunch after a 2hr drive from London, a very friendly place, had a lovely pork dish of the day.

Stop off occasionally for a pint of Super Bock. Lovely little bar, service is always welcoming and friendly. Atmosphere inside is always good too. Enjoyable place to be!

I have been a regular since this restaurant opened, fantastic service, great food and very nice portion size. The Portuguese wines, beers and spirits (fire water), the tapas,the desserts and of course the famous espresso, make this house a very good representation of the Portuguese smells and flavors. Now with a new decor! The quality versus price it's very friendly I should say. Highly RECOMMENDED

Unbelievable that the owners sister would injure and hospitalise a customer of 4 years. . Shame on you both for not answering calls. The issue came up because the premises had two non SIA “ security” acting on supposedly the bars licence. One of which made a racial accusation, the person in charge assaulted a disabled person whom needed to be hospitalised and her personal belongings (tablet) destroyed . Attempts to call management were met by phone blocking and ignorance.

Great little cafe bar. We just love this place, it's like being on holiday and everyone is so friendly. Had an excellent Americano and a pastry this morning, usually enjoy a couple of glasses of wine ( after lunch!).

It was the worse service in a cafe that I ever received in my whole life they spoke very little English and when I asked what time they serving food till the lady said till late hours of night by the time I went to order some food they said in a rude aggressive manner weren't serving anymore so I was very disappointed the way I've been treated which will never ever be back there again and I wouldn't recommend to anyone the way I've been mistreated! I come out from O sado quite upset and I wish I never been there!

So we ordered two jackets with cheese and beans with two teas it came to £19.40 so expensive. The jackets were old and crispy didnt taste very nice. They charged a pound for a slice of bread to the bloke next to us. I will not be eating there again

Good food for both of us but waitress opened my jacket potato with her fingers! We paid by card but she did not wash her hands after handling the card machine. Her long hair was loose and she touched her face on and iff. Eating right opposite, she then went on to serve others and take payments without any hand washing. Another member of staff arrived and did a thorough clean wearing blue rubber gloves. His kitchen hygiene was perfect. Have all members of staff been trained? Failed to find a contact email or number of BakeHouse or I'd have fed back directly. Yes, I do have current Food Safety certification.

First visit.... Quite impressed. 2 item Breakfast bap £2.95.....but coffee and latte well over priced....£3.40 for a large latte!!!!!it's not even large compared to Costa...it's a medium.....but McDonald's 2 seconds up from it....£2.29.... Thanks very much

I had a delicious breakfast: warmed baguette with bacon and tomato, fresh orange juice and a coffee. £5.60. Quite reasonable. Definitely this is a place I'll be visiting on Saturday.

Excellent chicken and chips meal with fresh vegetables. Good wholesome food and great service. Also good selection of hot and cold sandwiches, tea, coffee etc. Worth a try!

Found this yesterday as a change from greggs had a bacon and sausage bap for breakfast and bought a BLT for my lunch, both very nice freshly made sandwiches .. Went back today for a second go 😉
