Set aside that it's a church. The facility is amazing. From the layout, wheelchair accessible, covered entry and ability to drive up close to the door for people with disabilities or injuries. They have an adult and children's choir!!!

A great place to gather for mass with welcoming people. Each mass time provides a variety of style in music ranging from well known hymns to the modern day songs of worship. Very punctual as well. We enjoy our home church. ♡
My daughter and I were searching for a Catholic church that felt like ours from home in Arizona. We went to another, and it was okay but was missing the traditional feel of a Catholic church. We tried Christ the King and immediately felt like home. I am so glad we decided to go.

Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church was my Catholic Parish while we lived in Lubbock, Tx. Father Rudy and the people of this parish were amazing! They always reminded me of my hometown parish, The Holy Family Parish in Nazareth, Tx. The parishioners knew each other well & worked well together in all their parish activities. I miss it very much since we’ve moved to Potosi, Tx., to be closer to our daughter Andi & her family! Being close to the grandkids is also terrific!!!🥰

The Thrift Store is awesome, thank goodness when they have a sale. How often, unknown. Just so many good conditioned items to look for. Plenty of parking space, very clean. The building use to be The Veteran Association Building. Located on 34th And Ave N. Right across from the Thrift Store for the Blind.
The Church is following the guidelines for safety and the Deacons and Greeters are the first contact and they really give you Peace and Calm. Masks are required and seating guide lines are followed, and after Mass the Church is wiped clean. Thank you Lord for all you do through these fine Christians. Continue to protect them always especially when they do so much to protect us.
Came here as an out-of-town visitor. Celebrated the Mass with the Guadalupana choir. I do not particularly believe the music is as reverent as could have been, but I understand the cultural normalcy. I admired the bilingual inclusion in the Mass and enjoyed the use of the projector screens for people to be able to follow along. I especially appreciated that the celebrant priest mentioned the importance of protecting LIFE with the way we VOTE. He didn’t endorse any candidate or political party, he merely stressed the importance of voting PRO-LIFE FIRST as CATHOLICS. I am so thankful for courageous priests who speak up in defense of LIFE and Church teaching.
This church is my parish home and holds my parish family and my heart. This is my place of worship where I have learned to serve my God. It is the place where I have shed my tears of joy and pain, in good times & in times of sorrow. This is where I come to strengthen my soul and where I come to share my strengths and serve in ministry. Here, I have learned to live what God speaks, I am his servant. Sometimes I fail him but he lifts me up to try again and so he remains with me. He in me and I with him. I invite you to come find him here too and serve his people.
I love this church I had been to other Catholic churches in Lubbock and ppl would just stare like if we weren't welcome at Our Lady of Grace the very first time we had been there and all the other times after we have always been welcomed in the nicest way not to mention the father tells some really good stories that match up with what real life ppl are going through and speaks from experience and now this is mine and my fiance's church💖💝

First United Methodist Church is a remarkable place that embodies community spirit and compassion. Recently, I had the opportunity to join a lunch event there, where volunteers served delicious meals to those in need, primarily individuals experiencing homelessness. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, filled with heartfelt conversations and genuine care from everyone involved. The church itself boasts a stunning sanctuary adorned with beautiful stained glass windows that create an enchanting ambiance during services.
Yesterday I was invited to come have lunch at First United Methodist. Because it fit my schedule so perfectly I decided to go. I sat and broke bread with a group of people that were mostly homeless. The meal was very good, the volunteers were all so very nice and I had a pleasant conversation with three men who depend on this community outreach. It was my good fortune to be there and I am reminded of how blessed I am. My thanks to all those involved.

This is a beautiful church. I have been here several times and the sanctuary is spectacular. The acoustics are great and there is not a bad seat in the house.
Gorgeous sanctuary with beautiful stained glass windows at front, back and down the sides. Glorious organ played Dr. Cho along with the Lubbock Symphony Orchesta. Acoustics are awesome...love to hear the organ pipes ring at the end of a piece of music!!
Helped out with the feeding of the homeless. There were many loving carring people there making sure the less fortunate had a hot meal. You could tell they really cared about it. They fed a large group and had them in and out in an hour.
My Rotary club meets here every Wednesday. Wonderful facility and wonderful people!!!
Wonderful worship service. The choir and organ were so well done. The sermon was faith building. The spirit of the congregation was sweet. Thanks and God bless you all.

Gorgeous! Such friendly people in this Temple!! Must be that Texas hospitality. All LDS Temples have kind, caring and compassionate people in them!! This Temple has a beautiful Terrestrial room ceiling! All in all its beautiful. I give aall LDS Temples 5 stars!
My children and I got to visit this temple during our vacation. We were passing through Lubbock and were able to stop and see it. Beautiful like other temples.
As like other smaller temples, there is a Stake Center nearby that you can change in if you're travelling from afar. Just ensure it is open.
As with all temples the sense of peace and calm are so helpful in this world with so much commotion and hate going on.

I overheard a conversation with a young man this morning about him volunteering at the dream center. During that conversation I overheard the person that I assume runs the volunteers belittled him because of what he commented on social media and he said he was protecting himself. He was then told he won't be allowed to volunteer because of it.For COTR to even go that far is never okay. I watched that young man walk out in tears. GOD SEES ALL ABD HE SEEN THAT! I left after seeing that encountered and won't be back. Where is the love and acceptance. I hope that young man is also okay.
It's the greatest place to serve our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. It's also a great place to valanter your free time. It is a real blessing.

A Dream turned into a personal sources of income by one of the volunteers. The Dream Center was made to help those less fortunate and or homeless. There's a food pantry and free coffee at their warming center. Free haircuts and furniture donations but it's the free clothing closet that's unfortunately being robbed. There is a volunteer named Roxanne who gets there early to sort thru the DONATED clothes and set aside any name brands like Nike shoes Adidas shoes, expensive clothing brands ect. into a pile she hides. Roxanne then sneaks the bags of clothes worth any money out into her black mustang and drives it over to her other jobs and sells the bags of clothes to her clients she cleans for for up to $30 a bag or individual pieces per her price. I think it's a SHAME that an individual would target such a DREAM and turn it into a NIGHTMARE so that she could make money off of it. SHAME there's a thief using her pretend Godliness to run a scam in God's house. God sees.

Not a regular church goer, and I went on Easter Sunday, so keep that in mind. But this is for sure a mega church, with all that comes with. Felt like the sermon was trying too hard to prove the validity of the resurrection to a huge group of people that define their religion by belief in the resurrection. Also, the pastor/ reverend made some very bold claims as his "supporting evidence" that I habe since trying to verify had have been unable to do so... not definitive, but highly sus...
After moving to Lubbock from Dallas many years ago, I finally found my “home-church” in 2019. Dr. Wilson is a fantastic man and minister, and is honestly the reason I chose this church and became a proud member. Being a southern gentleman, Dr Wilson tells it like it is, preaches The Truth as It is written (NOT “edited” like other churches have), and has a great way of connecting his stories with each sermon, and in turn, connecting with you/the audience personally — plus, he’s kinda funny too! The orchestra and choir are top notch as well. Everyone at Southcrest has always been very warm and welcoming, but not overbearing like others can be, and they do such a great job at helping the Lubbock community, and anywhere around the world where help is needed.
I am doing a women's Bible study online with Southcrest Women's Ministry. I absolutely love this option and like the freedom it allows with my time. They made purchasing the book and getting set up very easy. The ladies are so sweet and affirming and there is no push to be involved verbally. My first time with this group, I just sat back, got to enjoy the class without feeling any pressure and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to next week!!!!
Great church, great people, awesome choir and orchestra. If you are looking for a new church, try Southcrest Baptist. They are very welcoming to all newcomers and the pastor is wonderful and asle seems to deliver the right message at the perfect moment...
Visited from out of state, was welcomed and felt like home.
South Crest Baptist Church boasts a spacious worship center, which aids in seamlessly blending with the congregation. While coffee is available, it's wise to grab a bite before attending, as they don't offer food. The theater-style seats in the upper section provide an expansive view, amplifying the echoes of the choir. The preacher's personable style made the message relatable, and his thoughtful touch on prayer requests, along with a reminder of the viewing and memorial for my grandpa, showed genuine care for the congregation. The atmosphere was one of warmth and friendliness, making it a truly inviting place to worship.
My grandson was being baptized at the 11:00 service. We sat right by the baptismal and it was very nice. The sanctuary is very large and nice. The seating was Ok. I really enjoyed the service. The pastor was very likeable and a bit humorous at times. And I enjoyed the music and praise and worship. I had been here before.

That church its amazing that was my second time in 40 year's I attended a retreat for crusillistas when Father Gonzales and the Bishop was Michael Sheeran long time ago. I'm very pleased with that church and it's amazing always.
I've made many happy memories here and love everything about this church. Great people, great deacons, and Father Pina is so easy to talk to. It feels like everyone is family. The 8:00 o'clock mass is in Spanish and has a Mariachi choir for those that love that kind of music like me! Come join us for Mass! Everyone is welcome!

Lots of us have a passion for motorcycles, so we became part of the community at our parish. Our motorcycle community respects our leader and abides by our faith to support our community. Fundraising throughout the year to support a Christmas Motorcycle toy run to surprise children during the holidays. Supporting all church events with a little help with our fundraising donations.
Love the atmosphere in this church. Everyone is so nice. And has a gift shop with great prices, what a bonus!! I'm just sorry I wasn't there at the time of Mass.
Has enough seats for regular Sunday Mass. Has a Spanish one in the morning 8 am and two English ones at 10:30 am and 12 pm. Expect the pastor to reference Spanish culture during Homily. Nice band music.

My husband and I love this church. The Fr. ,Parish. We have come to know so many wonderful people,and made friends.

I spoke to a soft spoken gentleman named Jose. He was wonderful. He took my prayer request for two elderly people, Paul Knutson and Dianna Bedwell, who turned up missing on Mother's Day. He was polite, accommodating, and helpful.
In high school I went to this church...but I don't go now because-I don't know the prayers we're going to read that day and I don't know the music...but I will always love this church.
The church is beautiful and old you can feel the Holy spirit there. Everyone is kind and welcoming. I love my church!

Established in 1924, it has roots that trace back to early Catholic settlers who gathered for mass in private homes and hotels. Over the years, this charming church has evolved significantly; it now boasts a new church and student center while maintaining its warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Fondest memories as a Young adolescent attending Mass & Stations of the Cross with a special neighbor 's family and while attending Texas Tech University.
This is the church I used to walk to when I attended college. It was a small, loving church. Father Hanley and all the church members were very welcoming to the students and all who came there. Now it has grown a lot, added a new church, new student center, etc. It is still very welcoming and the priests and church laypeople are friendly and caring. It is a wonderful church to attend when you are a resident of Lubbock or a traveler away from home.
Come by and experience a Beautiful Church, great priest, and parishioners, but above all Come see Jesus... He's been calling your name 🙏 🕊
Was here on Ash Wednesday 2022 at noon. Didn't want to sit inside with unknown strangers so I stayed standing on the main hall. It had about seven "kneeling spots". That day, there were some people selling some food for after church was done. I think it was potato soup and quesadilla? Too bad I didn't have money to pay for it.
Overall, this church was good enough for a random passerby (me, the reviewer) to do church service. Though, try to be quick when getting your car out to the road. It took a while for me to get out the driveway since cars were constantly passing by me.
Fr. John's homilies are the best! Fr. Greg is fantastic too and they have the best Deacons too!
I love St. Elizabeth's! All the priests and deacons are so awesome! I wish all church's had clergy just like them! The homily's here are the best! The congregation is very welcoming and when the student center (that is now under construction) is built, we will be able to minister to all the Catholics at Texas Tech and the entire area! God is good!

Redeemer Church, established in 2008, initially held services at the Civic Center before finding a permanent location on Elgin Avenue. With a vision to plant churches domestically and send missionaries internationally, Redeemer aims to foster biblical community and encourage members to live out their faith daily. The church emphasizes the importance of a closer relationship with Christ and offers sermons grounded in the gospel. Members appreciate the sense of belonging and welcoming atmosphere at Redeemer, where Jesus Christ and the gospel are central.
Redeemer Lubbock is a church that I will forever regard as the healthiest and safest church I’ve been apart of. They teach truth straight from the Bible and help explain what it means and how it should inform our thoughts, words, actions, relationships, etc. God used Redeemer in my life to gift me deep community of individuals also chasing after God. My time in the city of Lubbock was one of the most mentally, emotionally, and spiritually tumultuous times in my life and I cannot count the number of times I was met with abounding grace, love, and truth by the body at Redeemer. I’m teary just thinking about it. They have so many opportunities to learn more through conferences and equipping classes. They also have so many opportunities to build community through serving, gospel communities, grow groups, member meetings, hang outs, etc. At Redeemer, I learned more about who God is and how he sees me more than anywhere else. I am forever grateful. No matter where you are spiritually, Redeemer is a safe place for you. I think that is the most special part of it.

If you are looking for a church to go to in Lubbock, I can't recommend Redeemer enough! I instantly felt very welcome, and everyone I've come in contact with has been so loving and helpful. I can honestly say that Redeemer played a key role in my return to faith and integration into the community. I can't imagine going anywhere else!
If I could leave anything less than a 1 star I would me and my mother are both disabled and homeless and asked for help until the 1st of this month until I get my check and the guy wasn't only rude and wouldnt at least drop us off to a nearby location that at least has cameras if anything was to happen but he laughed at us too I will never return to this church
Redeemer has been an incredible gift to me and my family. The sermons are grounded in the gospel and the people have a deep desire to be more like Jesus. I am incredibly thankful for our Gospel Community (small group) that is more like family than friends.
Redeemer did a “Worth It” serious that grew me in so many ways. The bottom line was, if Jesus is worth our complete love and adoration, it should be reflected in every area of our lives. It really has changed the way I think, make decisions, and strive to have Jesus reflected in all areas of my life.

Redeemer has been such a blessing in my life since I moved to Lubbock 5 years ago. I desired a church that offers biblical community, is firmly rooted in scripture, and encourages their members to not just attend on Sunday but actually live our their faith every day of the week - and that is what I found at this church. If you desire a closer relationship to Christ and his people then you should come and see what God is doing and has been doing at Redeemer.
It's a such a nice community with excellent fellowship!! The pastor is young, a good preacher and loves the Lord. It's a good place for families with excellent doctrine!!
I readily found a home at Redeemer, a place where everyone matters and is made to feel welcome. Most importantly, Redeemer is founded on, and makes much of, Jesus Christ and the gospel! It is a joy and a blessing to serve the Savior here!
The people here really care about anyone who comes through the doors. They have a phenomenal worship team and their pastors teach directly from the Bible. Redeemer also focuses a lot on its college ministry as well as it's Gospel Communities, which bring the congregation closer together in smaller groups. Redeemer is primarily focused on outreach and building more churches throughout the world.

I've been going to this church for almost a decade now - and these people are so wonderful! They are supportive and loving and the sermons are filled with so much truth that hits home, and not just a feel good lesson.

Used to be good. This was my home church for a couple of years throughout college, but I've decided to change. In the recent times, they've modernized it so bad it feels like a concert more than a church. They have installed light towers and light bars, turned up the smoke machine, and put the drums front and center. I initially came to this church because it wasn't like the others with fancy lights and a smoky haze, but now this one is plagued with it too. I want to go to church and hear a good sermon and sing along to a couple songs, not head bang to them in a concert like setting. You used to be good, but now are like all the other Baptist churches. Such a shame because it is a beautiful building.
Good church but a little bit too lax on following the true word of God. But I like only using the King James version of the Bible. And they don't care what Bible you use. Plus the music was good but loud and more like being at a rock concert then a gospel program for church. Plus I would have gave higher ratings for some of the old time classic hymns, but I didn't recognize a single song they sang at all. And I've been to church all my life thousands of times. overall still a good experience especially since I have family that goes there. Thank you!

The music/worship is tremendous. The preaching is Biblical and applicable. The small group Bible studies give it a small church feel and a great place to grow in faith and fellowship. This is a church of mission and service...locally and around the world. It is a great place for every age group, but especially for young families with children and teens. Member since 2000.
Coming out to tech there were a dozen different churches to pick from and at FBC, especially at paradigm, they just do a lot to make students feel welcome and its become a huge part of my life! The worship services are absolutely amazing and everyone there is so welcoming!

The most humble church in Lubbock. Everyone is so nice and make you feel at home. The ushers aren't watching your every move. the Father is a very humbling man of God.

Over the years since 1996 I have attended this Church. Like some churches they get good priest that you can just feel the holy spirit the minute you walk in, and some that just doesn't do that for you. We need a priest that will promote Gods spiritual environment that will work with all organization and promote good stewardship within our community.
It was nice to see some of my friends at Saint Patrick's Church I have been gone for about maybe 12 years and I really missed. I was a member of the altar Society I was in charge of the alter to put different flowers every weekend I was also in charge of the hall when there was a quinceanera or wedding father Ramirez, he put me in charge of all that and I enjoyed every minute of it did good money for the church and I also was in charge of renting the chairs for the quinceanera and the ones for the wedding and also the altar. Really good church community. Loved going to Sunday and Wednesday bible class in the youth group. People were really nice, fun activities to do with the youth group. If you move to Lubbock- Broadway church of christ is definitely a really good place to go. The people will have a really good impact on you.

My wife and I attended here when it was Campus Advance years ago when we were in college. It had a huge impact on us. The name has changed, but it still is positively impacting the students and campus today.
A great community that receives and accepts international students with love and kindness. Highly recommended to spend a good experience with different international parties. You can also take a chance to read a good book, play or talk to someone. ❤️🛐

Sweet Church on the Northwest side of Lubbock just outside the loop. It is a growing family church with lots of love. There is a healthy mixture of the age of its members and plenty of opportunities for people to be ministered to to to serve. The church has a growing children’s ministry and the JH & HS students study the Bible for Sunday school lessons. Fellowship cookouts a frequent and the business meetings make every member feel as if they really have a voice in the decision making progress. The Pastor David and Amy Rhoades are some of the most down to earth and loving people on the planet. My family can’t say enough about how much we enjoy being members here. God is at work here!

A wonderful community of people from all backgrounds and ages who come together to welcome any and all to their place of worship, not just on Sundays at the church service. In addition to the church service on Sunday, they have Bible studies, weekday activities and a child development center.
