My only memory of this church was the first time my mother and I attended in the 90’s...and I was born in Pardee and left the state when i joined the Navy in the early 2000’s. In the south, if you aren’t a member of the biggest lower cased B “baptist church”, you are forsaken. After nearly a decade of being ridiculed, my mum gave in and took me and my sister to First baptist. At the door, some facial-wart covered creep “greeter” forced a kiss onto the mouth of my mum. I witnessed it. We sat through the service. After the service, my mum refused to go back. I was disgusted. 30+ years I remember this…I can’t imagine it’s gotten any better.

I have been a Christian and Baptist for 50 years. This is by far the greatest church that I have been a part of. It has a great outreach to the community. There are so many people who are here to serve the Lord. The worship services are awesome. There is good expository preaching. There are many talented people using their talents to lift up Jesus and to serve others.

Rude, condescending, and mean. People like these are the reason no one wants to go to church anymore.

This is a great group of individuals! I reached out not for financial assistance. I needed a volunteer to pickup some supplies. They are awesome. God will bless each and everyone of them! Robert Bridge's is a great individual for volunteering his time! God will bless him! Sincerely, Becky Smith

My twins Breydon & Greyson attend this church regularly now. I am pretty excited about the upcoming dedication of the children . Feel at home here we will continue to come every Sunday etc for as long as it feels this way. Thank you lord we love this church it’s a beautiful and blessed place.

This is a wonderful church filled with friendly people and led by pastors who genuinely love God and people with their whole hearts regardless of age, color, economic status or anything else, and model it in the way they live their everyday lives. They do outreach into the community to help those in need, serve our kids with their Crosswalk Center and programs regardless of whether they attend 1st Baptist or not, send mission teams to areas struck by tragedy, and feed your soul each week with great sermons and bible study offered in many different Sunday and Wednsday class's. There's so much more. If you are searching for a special place for you as a single person or for your family try 1st Baptist. We found it several years ago and never left. It's now a part of our everyday lives and are so thankful our friends told us about it.

Not as in-depth of the Word as I had expected. One verse, and a lot of stories. Orchestra and Choir was good. Sunday School was basic.

Grace Preschool is probably the finest Preschool in North Carolina. Our family has had the good fortune to have two generations of children attend. Grace prepares Preschoolers to transition into Kindergarten and beyond by developing good behavior habits and a genuine interest in academics. Elementary school teachers are always excited to find out that a Grace Alumni will be part of their class because they know from experience that student is ready to learn. The staff and Faculty are of the highest quality and are truly interested in every child’s development. The Campus is completely safe and practices outstanding security measures. You would be hard pressed to find a better Preschool anywhere.

This is the church I am a member of. Our pastors are great, we have good music , services in English and Spanish, many kids programs and much more. Come join us.

This large ELCA Lutheran church is socially conscious. They have both traditional and modern services. They provide rehearsal space and concert venue for the Carolina Concert Choir and the Four Seasons Chamber Orchestra. I perform in both these groups but I am not a member.

Open minded, all inclusive, very active in the community, intelligent pastors, welcoming congregation. Spiritual, healing, peaceful but then offering activities for all ages. Great for modern families.

Consider other options for pre-school. There are many horror stories from many different families about encounters with the pre-school director. The security is, evidently, optional as the director let someone who they have never met before pick up my kid without requesting ID or contacting me. When specifically asked about this lack of security, the director shrugged off the incident without apology. She literally acted in complete contradiction to her own handbook.

Very friendly church with something for everyone (book studies, prayer shawl ministry, quilters, large preschool, 3 services including a Hispanic service).

Mud Creek Baptist Church has been my place of worship for the 15+ years. There is a sweet spirit in this church. Filled with God loving people that are giving of their time and services to help out in any way they can to further God’s Kingdom. I wanted to jump on here and sing some praise for Mrs Deanna. She is so good with kids and I can personally say was a big reason for us to previously wanting to go back. It’s hard to trust people in today’s day and age. Mud Creek has made a huge error in their ways by letting her go. Such a shame that people who are gathering for worship could ever be so two faced and nasty. Shame on Mud Creek. The few times we went to Mud Creek we were often not talked to and was treated as a burden instead of being welcomed with open arms. It wasn’t until we met Mrs. Deanna that we were treated with any respect.

This is a great place I sent my kids to school there, the staff are above and beyond amazing. The church family they have is very close and caring about each other. It's nice to see people who will still go out of their way to help one another or a complete stranger. Thank you guys so much for helping both of my children when they started school. My kids have Asperger's and the staff were more than accommodating, they went out of their way to make sure my kids were comfortable, happy, and taken care of. If you can get your kids in to their school I would highly recommend it, and their services on Sunday and Wednesday are always great. The pastor is a very intelligent man. He is extremely knowledgeable on the Bible and from the sermons I've heard he doesn't hold back on preaching against things that matter, but make the congregation uncomfortable. I applaud him for that because a lot of preachers won't preach on things that they're afraid will upset the members, an that's a fast way to destroy a church. Thanks to everyone at mud Creek, and everyone that works in the school. You're all great, and have done so much for my family. I can't thank you enough.

I love this little church. I've been coming here every Sunday since I moved down here 2 years ago. If you are looking for a relaxing Sunday Bible school for yourself, young kids, or even college students, they have nice little classes for all. Just ask one of the pastors for a list. No testing, no pressure, just the word of God.

Great church and preschool!!! 2 of our boys have attended the preschool and they loved it.

The music was beautiful.And diverse. There was a choir and also a modern music ensemble on the stage. Congregation welcomed us and even gave us a beautiful visitors gift bag. I can honestly say I felt closer to God that day.

Giant church complex that offers many activities. They seem to do good things for this community. Hard to figure out why it is such a big building along with the other buildings associated. They do run a school, daycare, teen care, and have a gymnasium, so that takes space.

Well for one it's the church I got saved in,baptized in and became a member of in 2013 and when I first saw it I said I'd never go to church to a church like that.Boy that's what I thought...3 almost 4 yrs now. Come join us on Sunday mornings. My wife and I have been visiting FUMCH on a regular basis for two months. Each Sunday has been a unique and uplifting spiritual experience.

"Discovered" UUFH in 2008 when it was recommended to me by a friend. Became a member on my first visit and have not regretted that decision. Friendly, like-minded people who keep working to make our community better and help the less fortunate. As I have aged and am no longer able to attend in person I appreciate being able to LiveStream services every Sunday, and to help with some projects from home. I live by myself and it is very comforting to know that I have many friends at UUFH upon whom I can call if I need help.

I love the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Hendersonville! This liberal congregation is full of members who are as committed to Social Justice as I am. Our current community project Allies for Racial Equity is particularly rewarding for me. I appreciate that I can pursue my passions for positive change in our community. Welcoming is somewhat of an understatement when it comes to this center. I was there to attend a workshop on compassionate listening and understanding. Couldn't​have felt more welcomed​ by how genuine were the presenters and the pastor who was lending his venue to the event. I couldn't help but thinking about joining. It may happen yet ...

Nice bunch of people. I sing in the choir so I obviously think it's very good but I tell you everybody there reads music and sings well. Katherine price, our choir director and accompanist is also very good.

I've visited a couple of times when I visit my parents in North Carolina. This is a very welcoming group and it makes me happy that my parents have such a strong community!

Both of my children attended here and they're 7 years apart. Mrs. Lindsay and Mrs. Tiffany have been there since my first child attended and they are great with children! Highly recommend!

We love this place. My oldest child went here and now 6 or 7 years later my son is enrolled there now. They have always had wonderful teachers. It's smaller so our kids get more attention. I would definitely recommend

My son went here a number of years ago, and the best I say about them is the level of negligence I experienced only failed to be criminal because my son was luckily unharmed. After facing over a year of discrimination because of his learning difference - 5 star centers have to comply with ADA - my 3 year old escaped the building, the whole freaking building. There should be latches that make this impossible. He then proceeded to run near the road. Luckily he was unhurt. When I came and got him, I was informed he was expelled for their negligence. So, bring your child here if you don't hold their life too dear.

Best preschool in town. Couldn't ask for better staff, everyone there is special. My daughter comes home singing "Jesus loves me" all the time. Thats how I know I have her in the right place ❤️

The Director and her daughter Joyce are very rude I wouldn’t recommend going there I have it all on video and recorded .. there’s a special place right next to the devil for ppl like them the CHURCH should be ashamed everyone else on the other hand are lovely ..they need to repent because god don’t like ugly and boi oh boi they sure is UGLY

What a beautiful church! The ushers are so welcoming to visitors & the large statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe is spectacular! What a wonderful Palm Sunday--such a reverent liturgy, sacred music & thought provoking homily. Definitely worth finding while traveling through!

Beautiful but for older parishioners who like to sit in the back but have difficulty walking, communion should be given closer to back so we dont have to walk all the way up front.

I enjoyed the service today, and thoroughly enjoyed and learned from Sabbath School with Frank Cox. The best SS I have attended in a long time. However, during service, my husband and I were distracted by a child who appeared to be in distress over a tightly fitted mask. Children in church are great, even when noisy. But, to see a child under 2 who should not be wearing a mask anyway having difficulty breathing was a bit much. I pray someone from the congregation will speak to the mother.

This is a very nice and friendly church. This is my first time here. The Pastor was very caring and loving to our family as my wife’s grandpa just passed away. He came and gave my wife’s grandma a big hug after the service was done.

Attended the conference ( rapture/water) rapture was well presented as was water. I would add that the quality of water free of bisphenols(heated plastic bottled water), chlorine, water cysts, trihalomethanes, and non filtered munciple water (tap) containing meds, and lead. Well water contamination ( bacteria, iron, pesticides) Suggestion: water filters installed or gallon Seychelle filters or Aquasana. Plastic bottles mist be Nalgene free of BPA leaching. In Yeshua! I enjoyed my time worshiping with this fine church. Pastor Steve brought an excellent message . The church is absolutely beautiful. A great mix of all ages were in attendance. God wisdom speaks though pastor Steven Blanton as a tug on your heart and the spirit of God speaks. Amazingly the word of God is spoken with a stern, understanding and Compassionate message. we work and learn God's word consecutively through the Bible.

My family started going to this church a few weeks back. Steven Blanton is the pastor. He is an awesome preacher. If you need a church home I really suggest Ebenezer Baptist.

It is little different than any other non-Catholic, but still christian church I have been too. Everybody wants to meet you if your new, and then be nosey about your business, asking what you do, and where you live, and where you grew up. I know it is just to be friendly, but it really comes off as being nosey. The church is very clean, and pretty. A nice small playground for the young kids. I did enjoy the sermon, and pastors were very emotional with God's message. I did enjoy my visit, and would be happy to be a guest again.

Very friendly church and the minister was outstanding public speaker. He held everyone's attention and his sermon touch everyone. Wish I could attend there every week and be apart of their mission efforts.

Went to Hendersonville area to spend Thanksgiving Holidays with Church Family that live there now & had lived in Statesville NC❣️They are truly a WONDERFUL CHRISTIAN FAMILY & I enjoy going to worship at their home congregation with them. The singing was great, I love hearing their Minister, EATHAN, & spoke to him about coming to Statesville to speak sometime. I took his card & gave to 1 of ELDERS at North View Church of Christ in Statesville NC & encouraged them to invite him to come speak❣️A great, friendly congregation that makes you feel at home & comes to meet you & invite you back again❣️I've been about 4-5 times whenever I get to go visit & hope to go back again maybe Spring ❣️💋❣️Thank You ALL for your kindness ❣️💋❣️

Really enjoyed the presentation of the sermon today. It's really awkward to walk into a church alone and not know anyone but when the sermon was presented ALLLLL I felt was the presence of God. Not even sure what the pastor's name is but I'm sure I'll learn because I plan on going back next week.

A wonderful message of learning to be a servant, instead of being served. The last shall be first. The 5:00 Saturday service was a small, welcoming group. The church is beautiful. Looks like a church in Europe. We have found a church home.

St James is a very pretty church. The organ is wonderful. The only weird thing is the smell inside the church. It smells kind of like tar or other petroleum product. It didn't seems like something that you would want to be around.

Beautiful Episcopal church in Hendersonville NC. We’ve visit frequently from Greenville SC. The staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome. You can feel the history of this church when you walk in.

Great place for every one. Visit the Thursday Thrift Store 9:30AM till 2:00 PM. Every Thursday. We are back open after the pandemic shutdown...

The only thing that surpasses the beauty of this church are the warm and friendly people that you'll meet here. My fiancée and I have truly enjoyed spending Sunday mornings here.

I go to Church to worship Jesus Christ and to fellowship with other believers. This Church likes to sell their political views. This is not a ‘Church’.

This center is the best in town. The center is clean,fun, and inviting. The teachers are all well educated and know what they are doing. The playground is fun for the children and the classes all do many activity’s throughout the week. This center sends home daily sheets on your child’s day and weekly newsletters keeping you in the loop. The owners and directors have the families best interest at heart always. The prices are wonderful for a center that goes so far beyond childcare. Every teacher there wants to be teaching children. The best part is this center is a Christian based center! Every class prays daily over meals and has daily bible study. It will be really hard to top this center.

My kids have attended Little Blessings since they opened. They have great teachers and a wonderful administration. Not to mention a very convenient location!

My son loved this place! He was well cared for and loved his teacher Ms. Hunter. They are great with communication and love each and every child.

My daughter absolutely loves going to school everyday. The staff are very friendly and keep me up to date with everything. They provide a very loving and caring environment for my child.

I know these people and how dedicated and compassionate they are. They have done a great job raising their own children, and I think this would be the best place for any child to be.......

My son went to this daycare for two months and he hated this place(he cried every single morning!), we moved him to a new daycare and was excited to go on day 2. If that doesn't say something, I don't know what does.

Went to visit my grandbabies. All the staff were friendly and helpful. And it was a very clean and organized daycare.

Beautiful, classical music, stunning venue, and well-presented, engaging preaching. Pastor Mark Stanley is a treasure of God with his openness, kindness, humor, and thought-filled sharing of God's Word and love. Associate Pastor Dwight Christenbury preaches a well-reasoned and faithful sermon and is a stalwart presence. They do wonderful things for the community here and abroad as well. They show sensitive hospitality to strangers (Hebrews 13:2).

Intimate time of worship bc the lights were turned low, teaching was Bible-based & Spirit led, a good variety of ages & welcoming (it was my first visit). The group could be more diverse.

Great body of believers. No ear tickling. Just the Word. Love the pastors and their families.

When you go, ask them how many gods there are. Also, ask them about Jesus being spirit brothers with Satan. One more thing to ask about is how did Heavenly Father become a god? This church will lead you to the hell they reject.

Wonderful Independent Baptist Church! The congregation will always make you feel warm and welcomed. The preaching is doctrinally sound. If you are in the Hendersonville area and looking for a good church home, I would encourage you to visit Calvary.

Looking for a home church in Hendersonville NC? You have found it! Pastor Ken Mason is a fantastic Pastor. He is very knowledgeable, he knows his Bible. He preaches KJV. The staff at Calvary are very friendly, caring, and helpful. The church will love on you and you will become part of their family!

Church is a bunch of hypocritical peopple whom all they do is start or cause drama with new people in the church or even guest that show up whom don't fit to their standards. It's their way or the highway. But if your a mindless zombie whom follows whatever your told and doesn't think twice about what is being told then this is the place for you. But I don't believe this place is a good place to worship nor even praise God in because it's too hard to do that when your getting judged and looked down on for not believing the same way as they do.

Sound preaching on God's Word and soul stirring hymns. The gospel is given to everyone, and it is our decision to accept or reject it. I am so very thankful to have accepted the truth.

I'm a little hard of hearing and they have a headset that let's you hear every part of the service.I had a wonderful experience.Will definitely be back.

I only went there for a garage sale because it was close to home. I personally don't do the church thing but the folks putting on the sale seemed like happy church members.

It is a phenomenal daycare. They have really taught my toddler so much. Teachers are so loving and caring with the children.
