St. Peter Catholic Church, located in the heart of uptown Charlotte, is a historic Roman Catholic brick church built in gothic style during the Victorian era. Established in 1851, it is the oldest Catholic church in Charlotte and has played a central role in the city's religious life.
The fact they still hold mass at 12:15 daily really inspires me. I'm a disciple. Just moved to Charlotte. I expect to attend tmrw. I'm sad you don't have a website that has more information! God bless you all.

Fantastic Catholic Church to attend a Sunday mass. I was in Charlotte on a short visit and went here. If the weather is good, the church fills up for Sunday morning 9AM mass, so be early if you want to be seated.
It's a wonderful church. I feel right at home.

The church is open, despite CoVid, with every other pew open and social distancing in effect.
The interior is beautiful, with classic stained-glass windows, wooden pews and ornate statues.
There is a lower level which serves as a "cry-room" or for overflow attendance.
Very beautiful and one of the smallest Cathedrals in United States. The decoration is simple but very magestic, with a stunning stained glass windows. I loved the time I spent at this place, the Mass was very spiritual too. The Priest was very nice and kind. He spoke wise words during his speech. I enjoyed visiting this Church.
Out son's wedding was here. Wonderful church and priest, and their wedding coordinator was too notch. Great cantor and organist! The guy that played the cello was pretty bad but that wasn't the church's fault.

The small group leaders will judge you based on their limited perception of your situation, define your season, and tell you where you belong. I have heard of things happening like this before but to experience it first hand is demoralizing and concerning. I have attached a message I received Sunday from a women of God at this church.
Visited the church while on vacation. This is a satellite location with live praise and worship. We loved it! Everyone was friendly and facility was nice and comfortable.
Really disappointing that Elevation continues to impact a small business owner at this location. Telling her guests they can’t park in the PUBLIC street parking or having their parking attendants moved reserved signs/cones so there’s only 3 spots? What a shame. There’s a reason Elevation has a bad rap, and it’s certainly not for the good they’re doing. They could work on being a better neighbor and friend to a small business owner and her customers — who actually does so very much to make CLT a better place.

I was recently introduced to this church by a friend and after what happened to Irina Zarytska and Charlie Kirk, I needed to find solace in my brothers and sisters in Christ. I have to say I was absolutely overwhelmed in the most beautiful way by this community but most of all, the Pastor. He speaks truth and makes no apologies for it. He does not sit on the fence on things and at these times, we need to stop worrying about offending and choose the side of righteousness. I can't wait to keep celebrating Jesus as my Lord and Savior.
We recently visited Central Church and immediately felt the presence of the Lord. We have attended many churches over the years and many are dark and depressing. This is a church full of light and the truth is preached. The pastor truly shepherds and cares for the flock, even if it steps on toes. He doesn't water the message down. He can go deep in his Biblical study, but he also keeps the sermon simple with a relevant life application. The church is a little bit of a drive for us, but it is quality preaching, teaching, worship and fellowship. It is a large congregation so connecting with others will be up to you, but I sense the people are friendly. I love seeing such a diverse group of believers of all ages and ethnicities worshipping together. I read a comment that Pastor Livingston is like a Kenneth Copeland, and I wholeheartedly disagree. In fact, I have heard him preach against the word of faith theology. Awesome church!
My husband and I have visited Central Church a couple of times as new residents to Charlotte. When we’re unable to attend, we’d watch the livestream and I enjoy taking notes in my journal I received during my first visit.
Love the welcoming tone of the members as you walk in, the worship selections from the anointed choir are so very uplifting and Pastor Livingston is on
Fire For Christ”! It’s evident he takes the word to heart and welcomes all who come there to worship, to do the same.
As we continue our search for a church home, we pray for God’s guidance and direction. That we’d be led where we feel at home, and I can continue to share my love for ministering in song.

When is “stepping on toes” a Christlike thing to do, especially from the pulpit? Jesus rebuked the Pharisees / religious leaders of his day, not the believers, or unbelievers, for that matter. Christ’s message was one of love and forgiveness because He took our sins to the cross. Visited the church on 5/18 and left feeling judged and not holy enough as the pastor was preaching his own personal convictions in a very boisterous, demonstrative way. There was little room for grace in the message as the pastor said Christians should not experience temptations. This is just not Biblical. The music, on the other hand, was phenomenal.
Please am looking for a good church like this in Chicago area, A church that preaches the truth from the word fearless and diverse. If anyone knows any kindly share with me here. By so doing you are saving a soul. Thank you!

I attended both daily and Sunday Masses at St. Patrick’s as an out-of-town visitor this past week. It is a beautiful cathedral in a beautiful neighborhood. The priest was very reverent and gave excellent homilies. If you are a visitor to Charlotte, I highly recommend visiting this church. I look forward to visiting again in the future.
Beautiful Cathedral! I attended the 9th Annual Charlotte Catholic Men's Conference and absolutely loved it! Such a Holy place. The Preist and speakers were amazing. Doug Barry (Battle Ready) really fired me up. Revelation 3:15-16 “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.
What an emotional rollercoaster to attend the funeral of a close friend and notice mid-service that the printed memorial program had the wrong name written in it. Sadness turned quickly to disdain for the Cathedral. Rest in peace to “Patricia” but unfortunately we had no idea who that is… I wish the church staff took more care to remove such a blatant typo for such a sensitive occasion.

I attended mass this morning at this church. It was wonderful. They have adoration of the Eucharist prior to mass and confessions. Communion is taken in front of the alter kneeling by the railing. I have not experienced this type of mass since I was a child in the early 70’s and I loved it. If I lived here this would be my church. The interior of the church is spectacular.
We attended mass here on our way back from Florida to West Virginia. It was a beautiful church and a great mass. A priest offered confessions before mass and made sure everyone was able to go. They did prayer devotions and Eucharistic adoration before the mass started with incense. The priest had a great homily too. The best part was the reverence they held for the Eucharist. They used altar rails and a communion plate to catch any accidental crumbs. They also had beautiful singing and organ playing. We also saw a lot of activities for all ages of the parish advertised.

Was visiting downtown Charlotte and came across this historic site. Was impressed by the architecture and the aesthetic of the church.

MY wife and I have been members at st. Peter's for almost two years. The first Sunday that we came (Second Sunday of the new year), we were struck by the breathtaking worship. That alone was reason enough to stick around--I would be hard pressed to find more beautiful worship in the city. But it was the inclusive and loving atmosphere that has led us to call it home. From Father Ollie and Father Jacob (the rectors) to the vestry (board) to the regular person sitting in the pews, we have found nothing but welcome and acceptance. St. Peter's is a place where you can be a part of the community if you are white or black, gay or straight, rich or poor, and cis gendered or trans. I am so thankful that we found such an incredible church that cares for one another and its community.
Work Uptown and stopped to partake of the sidewalk services on Ash Wednesday which is such a convenient but meaningful offering. I have attended a service or two here as well. Beautiful church.
The clergy, sermons, organ music, musical talent, and choir school create a very moving and spiritual opportunity for prayer and reflection. The Christmas Eve prelude and service is magical and spiritually uplifting as no other.

The Calvary Church is a non-denominational church that strives to provide a Christ-centered worship service. The preaching is sincere and the people are wonderful. While the worship may not be up to par, it is still worth checking out if you're looking for a good sermon.
Our family visited the church for the first time, and from the moment we arrived, we were deeply moved. The grand, soaring entrance gave the impression of stepping into something sacred—almost like walking into heaven or a magnificent temple.
The sermon was grounded in Scripture and spoke warmly to the heart, bringing a sense of peace and spiritual nourishment. After the service, my husband wanted to greet the pastor, and to our surprise, the lead pastor was personally welcoming all new visitors. He introduced himself with kindness and humility, and even shared a few words about his wife, speaking of her with such love and admiration that it was clear how much he values their marriage.
He took the time to ask each person’s name and why they were visiting, creating a genuine sense of connection. He also shared that the Bible is his shield of faith and the foundation of his life, expressing how deeply he leans on God’s Word for direction.
One of the most beautiful aspects of the church was its diversity—people from all backgrounds coming together in worship. The children’s ministry was another highlight: well-organized, engaging, and led by a caring team. Our kids had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed the experience.
We will definitely be coming back.

I like this church, the worship and sermons are healthy, the people are friendly. I like that there is translation into Russian, also after the service there is communication for Russians, where you can communicate in your native language.
This church is something else. Twice while working for Dominos, I had $300+ orders delivered here with $0 tip for delivering AND setting it up inside. Mind you, as a delivery driver, we only make $5 an hour and rely on tips to survive. You guys can literally write off all of this, so it's not like the money or tips are even coming out of your pocket. This morning, as I'm driving on Rea Road, I'm about taken out by two different Mercedes SUVs, one white and one black... both speeding excessively just to get to this church. What in the world is going on with you people that you think your life is more important than everyone else you endanger on the roads?!

Will listen some music star and some people talked and they prayed and we burned candles. I met read many new people and we talked about many different topics. Me and my husband's truck started messing up on our way to go service a customer today and we pulled over at the church unfortunately we didn't make it to a parking spot and was in one of the entrance ways.My husband is a do it yourself man so he tried to figure out what was going on with his truck himself,he took a Lyft to the nearest AutoZone to get a part thinking it would fix the issue when it didn't he went home to get another one of our cars to hitch his trailer on from the truck so he could take it home and come back so we could call the towing company to tow our other vehicle back home.This took a few hours.Instead of someone from the church coming out to check on us and see if we needed help a man came out taking pictures of our truck and had a attitude I told him what happened and that a tow truck was on the way.I have never been treated like this from any church and it saddens me to know people call their selves Christian who behave this way.I was so glad when the towing company showed up to get as far away from there as possible.I will continue to keep them in my prayers that they change how they treat others.

I went with my neighbors to see there son’s graduation ceremony from conformation class ! The people I met were friendly, and the sanctuary was very beautiful with its exposed vaulted ceilings . There was art work on both sides of the auditorium depicting the life of Christ ! The ceremony was very encouraging to the young participants and families alike . If you’re looking for a Catholic Church to get involved in then St. Matthews is definitely worth a visit . Go check it out !
Saint Matthew Catholic Church is truly one of the most beautiful and welcoming churches I’ve ever been to. From the moment you walk in, you have that feeling of peace in your heart. The music is uplifting, and the people are genuinely lovely. Every Mass feels meaningful and so full of love! 💕 I always leave feeling closer to the Lord and renewed in spirit. I’m so grateful to have found this amazing church community!
The place is beautiful but they don't take care of it.
The music they sing at Mass makes you feel the Holy Spirit in your heart. They play Hillsong music, and their voices are amazing! Also the homilies teach you how to put God's word into practice. It's very thoughtful.

The church's beliefs stem from the Nicene Creed, adopted by the First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea. Every year, they host the Yasou Greek Festival near Labor Day, featuring music, dancing, rides, educational tours, cooking classes, and delicious food at moderate prices.
Went to the Yiasou Greek festival. Amazing! Food was delicious, we got the Pastichio and Roast Lamb plates. Musicians were excellent and church was beautiful. Glad we went!

Yasou Greek Festival is held every year near the Labor Day holiday. Four days of music, dancing, rides, fun, educational tours and cooking classes, and oh so delicious food! It always garners a huge turnout of festival-goers over the four days. The food is moderately priced and portions are plentiful. Tickets are $3/person, but many local businesses give them away to their patrons. A must do event every September!
The Greek Festival is back this year! Good assortment of vendors featuring Greek items.
The food is incredible. And the desserts absolutely wonderful!

The Annual Greek Festival. We love going there every year. We went this past Saturday, September 10th in the Rain. My husband loves the lamb, I love the Greek Fries and Gyro..The people are are always kind and friendly to everyone. See You Next Year!
This year's food... gyro was pretty good. Baklava was great as always. The Greek Salad looked like a Harris Teeter bagged salad with olives and peppers thrown in. Greek salad dressing was from a commercial pack. The chicken pita was bland, soggy, and not very good. As you know the price of food everywhere is outrageous so this was not the best experience this year. Next year- maybe baklava only!

I attended the Yiasou Greek Festival and it was a cultural success! Great people, amazing food, and great demonstrations of Greek life. It was my first year attending but the event has been going on for 41 years.

I had an amazing experience. The service was phenomenal. The music was great, the pastor was a great speaker and seemed like a nice guys, and everyone was so welcoming. Enjoyed my time. Was nice to go to a church that was trendy while really caring for people and teaching the Bible. Will definitely be back.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I truly had an amazing time! As a first time guest I was a bit nervous but quickly felt at home and at ease! Their Hospitality Ministry is absolutely wonderful! They truly preach the Word of God sticking to the Scripture and they are serious about their relationship with Jesus. If anyone is looking for a church Home I totally recommend that if the Lord leads you to First Baptist join! I no longer live in the area but every time I’m in Charlotte I go to worship!!

I am catholic, but I must say what a beautiful church! I came because they were administering the COVID Vaccine here. People were kind.
This church has been nothing but warm, welcoming, and kind. My family and I have always felt like we belong.

Anne Springs Close Greenway, located in Fort Mill, South Carolina, is a vast 2,100-acre nature preserve offering an array of outdoor activities. Visitors can explore over 40 miles of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails through lush wooded landscapes. Gorgeous place for photos. Lots of hiking trails, swinging bridge at the creek. Horses, old plantation house to visit. Dog park. Just a grrat way to get outdoors for the day. $5 day pass gives you access to all areas. The gate house has a map of all areas you can access. Games on the lawn. Cornhole, ring toss, ladder ball...lots to do. Pets allowed on leash at all times. Handicapped accessible and lots of parking.

2500 acres of pristine Prairie and Woodland meticulously preserved. There are several trails. This review refers to Mill Pond, Prairie Loop and the lake Hagler Loop. The Mill pond and prairie trail is mostly solitary. I have seen a few people walking on the trail and a few cyclists. Occasionally, the trail runs close to the road where you will hear the traffic buzz, but majority of it is fairly pristine. The trail runs along a small creek. There is a 1700s millstone on display that lent the name mill to Fort Mill. The trail alternates between Prairie and the Woodland.
The Haigler loop on the other hand is fairly busy with several young families. There is a cafeteria that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The staff throughout the Greenway are very friendly. Very clean restrooms, which probably alone explains the $14 entry fee.
My dogs loves the park. They get goofy I'm so happy every single time knowing that they're about to go to the park.
They have a big pond that the dogs can swim and they love it in the summertime especially.
The only thing I don't like when it's winter time they have to turn off the water for the dogs can drink. Today (September, 03 2025) went to the park they turn the water off without any warning. It is not a big thing but at least tell people right before they turn off the water.
This place is amazing. There are multiple trails here and I've hiked a couple different ones so far. I even got the Annual individual membership for $66/year ($6/month) to save money on parking. Parking for Non-members Adults age 13+ ($12/person) youth age 5-12 ($6/person), for members (free). Some trails are easy and short, some long and intermediate. You can even start on one trail and the veer off onto another trail to make your hike longer. This is not like a normal Greenway. It is nerrow and like your actually hiking. It is also a mountain bike trail as well so you have to move off to the side when avoiding them, trails are not wide enough for them to pass you. It is a lightly trafficed trail, I've rarely come accoss other hikers even on the weekends. It is leashed dog friendly and has a 13 acre dog park as well (16+years to enter Dog Park, No more then 2 dogs visit and no more that 4 dog/membership). That is a separate membership and the park is for members only.

The Greenway is a nice nature preserve, and we have been hiking the trails since we moved here 20 plus years ago. I enjoy going from spring til fall, but it has gotten expensive to just swing by and go for a walk. I think they should have all day passes and half day passes for the afternoon. 12.00 is a lot these days to just go by near sundown to get a bit of fresh air. When we first moved here, it was a quiet, hidden gem of a place to visit. Now, it's car loads of people and large groups. Seems like they've sold out, and the entrance fees are more important than creating a peaceful, tranquil place to get away from suburbia. If they're gonna charge so much, maybe invest in more activities and clean up the trails for they are worn. A garden area would be nice. Expanded markers for indigenous plants would be nice.
I feel very blessed to have access to this Greenway. It is great for me and my puppy to roam.

Delightful! So many areas to walk and play. Enjoy nature, see beautiful animal welded sculptures (temporary display), play in the fenced natural playground - climbing on creative log structures. Forge the creek - barefoot or booted or cross on the swinging bridge. A visitors center at the Hagler lake entrance has stunning earrings if you are an earring-buff. Friendly workers. All around a peaceful, well done nature preserve.

Nestled on 237 acres in Huntersville, NC, just a short drive from downtown Charlotte, NorthStone Country Club is a prestigious destination in the Lake Norman area. The club boasts a Dye signature course that has been highly rated and features strategically placed bunkers, Bermuda greens, and Zoysia fairways. While some visitors have expressed concerns about the condition of the greens and pace of play, others praise the exceptional treatment they receive from staff members.
This venue is awesome! They helped piece together our client's wedding in only 1 month! The wedding planner is excellent and she's a breeze to work with. Both the bride and the groom have getting ready spaces, which is a big perk! The gazebo area was private and intimate for the ceremony. Our client's used half of the ballroom for their reception which was perfect for their smaller sized guest list. The outdoor space with the view of the golf course was greatly enjoyed by the guests during cocktail hour. Obviously there are beautiful grounds that offer stunning backdrops for portraits. We were given a golf cart during this time which was great. We were able to create a lot of variety in a short amount of time. Overall, we really enjoyed working here and we very much look forward to working here again soon!!

This pool is very fun for all ages. It has four pools, a main pool, baby pool, water slide pool, and a designated adult pool. The pool offers a swim team too. The water slides are fun, but not recommended for adults. The middle blue slide is painful, the cyan slide is slow, and the purple is very fast. The baby pool has a small water feature and shallow water for children. The country club also has a place to eat, with very nice food, but you have to dress nice. I believe they are building a playground and they have many tennis courts. The club also has many events which are fun to go to. In highly recommend this place.
Course was in great condition. Greens are fast and present a challenging but fair test.
Really nice driving range and practice green. First class all around. I suggest playing with someone who knows the course on your first visit.
Played for the first time today...what a beautiful course...great layout, challenging and in great shape. Had several really nice water holes as well...great use of the land. Look forward to playing again.
We were members for two years. Did not renew. We were there a week ago and three out of four orders were tasteless. We told waiter and the next person up, we were offered one desert for three bad dinners. The food and service has gone down over the last years. Even the entertainment has slowed down. When we joined they seemed to have something every month to two months, lately nothing. Hoping things get better for members. We have several friends non-renew membership for same reason.
As a services provider. I meet wonderful people in this community. Thank you, everyone who is being used my service and looking forward to doing business with more neighbors.
The golf course is trash. The cups are cut within a foot of old cups because Deryck Beethem doesn't know any better.

The Baptist Church Friendship Missionary Baptist Church is a well-run and high quality church that provides excellent education for its children. Both of their grandchildren are excited to attend each day, and the church has already seen great blessings from the Lord.
Easter service was amazing. Listening to the choir and the various soloists was a vocal master class for free, because Jesus paid it all!!! The Easter song the kids did was cute! The Easter skit, with the guy who rolled away the tomb, was delightful ! He is Risen! The preaching was good, too! This was a great service, especially because of the choir! I wanted to throw my shoe a few times!

I definitely enjoyed worshipping with this congregation on my recent visit to Charlotte. They had a fairly traditional service, which I appreciated. It was Black History Month during my visit. The children’s choir was adorned in African attire and sang songs in both African language;not sure which ones) and English. A very talented child about 19 years old shared an amazing poem he’d written. The choir/praise team was excellent. The service was very well organized. If you’re used to a more charismatic service, they might be a tad bit reserved for you. The pastor was so wise and eloquent, referencing the Greek philosophers in his sermon. He was grieving the loss of a close son in the gospel, but still gave a relevant word. Service was less than an 1.5 hours
I've been attend FMBC since late 2002 and became a member in May of 2007. I simply love the church Pastor Jones and the members. My husband Tracy joined in 2011. We are thankful and Blessed for our journey with the Lord as well as FMBC. We are feed when come to church. The people are really nice . Come visit and if you feel good about the service and church join.

We went to Festival of Nations. First time we went and first time we were at Steele Creek Church. I cannot attest to church service but they did a phenomenal job with this event. I like they had prayer tents as well. The comraderie was beautiful. If you didn't feel loved or taken care of then that would have to be on you. If looking for a church to feel connected this would be it. I am a devout Catholic but I would not have an issue attending this church.

I absolutely love this church. It took some convincing & I decided to attend. I started coming during the Happiness series & was completely hooked. It seems like every sermon is geared towards my experiences. I like the music. It's uplifting & not overwhelming. I love TC b/c it's multi-generational & diverse. There's no guilt trip about giving, serving, or attending. When Pastor Derwin, the other pastors, & guest speakers are preaching, it is very informative & relatable. I highly recommend TC.
I was invited by a coworker. My family lives in Anderson, SC so we started watching online. We've been watching and participating as much as we can. Our boys were baptized here. Bo sugar coated Word taught here. We appreciate the diversity of the congregation, the anointing of the Word delivered and the transparency of Pastors Derwin and Vicki. The Body of Christ needs more Pastors speaking Truth. God is Love not hate and division. You feel truly loved and cared about here. This is my church home even though we're more than 2 hours away.
Coming from Elevation Church, I absolutely love worshiping at Transformation church. Pastor Derwin always presents the Word in a relatable way and is jam packed with tidbits to study throughout the week. I actually feel fed here even though I wish the service was longer. The musical selection is also great but the only thing I can say is that the soloists aren’t super strong singers. 10/10 recommended!
Started attending when we moved nearby. Now I still attend via video after moving to MD. Derwin's sermons are always full, interesting with unique points and take-a-ways. I usually learn at least one thing and I have an M.Div! Music is great as are the people and outreach.

Attended a wedding n Saturday. The facility is beautiful!!! High ceilings with big wooden beams, and beautifully appointed bar for cocktail hour, and great outdoor space for the ceremony!!!! The food was excellent, staff helpful and pleasant. All in all a GREAT experience! Highly recommend !!!

I had the opportunity to play the course twice within the last month... The club, staff and amenities are wonderful. Wish I could say the same for the course. It's sad that from Mar to Apr they have managed to loose the tee boxes and collars around the greens. This after a major renovation. I would have given them 5 stars back in March'25. Right now, most municipal courses are in as good if not better shape.
I hope they are able to recover from whatever transpired quickly. Its an incredibly challenging course with a superb practice facility.
How does anyone rate this course a 5? Have you ever played another course? Suspicious. After years of poor conditions, it’s finally growing back in. They are trying to market it as an elite club, which it is not. Bring a guest for $150 a round. Probably a $85 value compared to better public courses. It is fun to play and the clubhouse is full of fun drunks too, but I’d compare it to a semi-private club.
As a photographer I love this club. They take great care of my clients. I have been doing events there starting in 2004. Its a fantastic place with great food. And the grounds and the banquet space is lovely.
Great layout. Good variation of straight, doglegs, and length of holes. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are all in excellent condition. Would definitely play here again.
Had the chance to play this course while visiting Charlotte for a couple days. The greens were still recovering from annual maintenance a few weeks prior but overall the course was scenic and fun to play.
Played here with a couple of buddies last week. Course was fun, but very challenging for a below average golfer. First problem was no where to get a drink before the round. Seemed to be confusion as to when you could or what time they would be open. 10am on a weekday to me was a head scratcher. I've never played a golf course where you couldn't get an adult beverage, or even a powerade for that matter until 10am. The cart girl does not have a card reader so she has to write down credit card number on a sheet of paper. If girl scouts outside the grocery store can afford a card reader, I would hope someone could invest in one for the security of your guests. Lastly, the hotdog at the turn, the most coveted part of the round, was AWFUL. Wings after the round were great, but took FOREVER.

Amazing venue! As a wedding DJ I can say Magnolia Room is a great venue for a party! It's a beautiful space, the colored ceiling lights really add to the party, there's a fantastic bar setup, and with 7 separate air conditioning systems this place keeps guests cool on the hottest day.

This is truly Gods place to be to grow in him, to fellowship and to serve him fully. I am inspired daily just knowing am apart of this movement known as St. Paul Baptist Church. We have a wonderful and inspirational leader, the Rev. Dr. Robert C. Scott. He brings the word of God and makes it come alive within each of us on a regular basis. He keeps it real and I am blessed to know him as a true man of god. May Dr. Scott and his family continue to be blessed always and I thank him for all he continues to teach us. We are greatly blessed to have him among us.
I enjoyed the service and the Word was amazing. It was the Sunday before Christmas and the children's program was phenomenal. Not a fan of the hooping at the end of the sermon. To theatrical to me. People are very, very nice.
The pastor is great, but he is human and we still have our flaws. I do enjoy the service but some of the members can be a little standoffish. I think everyone should be on one accord. God made us all and He did not make anyone better than the other. Overall I do like the church. But one thing for sure we all have to take that journey for ourselves with God.
I visited for the first time today, and the pastor and choir here is amazing! The church building is also beautiful. I like the fact that they have an old school service. Choir members wear robes at times and there are actual hymn books in the pues. My only complaint is that the greeters are not very welcoming. No church is perfect however. I plan to attend again.

Entitled people who attend this church believe it is their right to block the entrance of the neighborhood parking in front of clearly posted NO PARKING signs - parked in the wrong direction. They impede everyone on west blvd creating a needlessly dangerous situation at an already dangerous intersection exiting 77S. Horn honking starts around 9AM.
They have little to no consideration or care for their neighbors. There is certainly scripture about such. Dont be hypocrites.

They preach a gospel that encourages their congregation to attack the lively hood of those they disagree with. Whole place needs a revival of the true gospel and not the Christian nationalism gospel. Praying that they turn the ship around before it’s too late.
I have been here a few times and I have recently moved to charlotte from Chicago. I love the church and staff of how they communicate with the church and people as a whole. I have read some people reviews and everyone is entitled to their opinion but when it comes to preaching, teaching, or ministering to the congregation, you can definitely see the love and passion the pastor have for the word of God. If the pastor has a word to bring and leave the topic for a minute and talk about other issues is because of what’s in his heart. You can’t put a seal on the Holy Spirit. The pastor has to go where the spirit lead him. No one has the right to say how someone should preach or teach the word of God as long as they bring the word of God.
The service was great. Very friendly community. Pastor preaches 4 back to back on Sunday and you can feel his passion for winning souls for Jesus. Put in prayer request and got to connect with groups. It was Great to get to open house right after in the same neighborhood

Went with our Millennial Child for Easter Service. It was new, fresh and modern. We enjoyed seeing a different side of worship. We felt a little out of place with our age, but we for sure felt genuinely welcomed.
Visited Vizion for the grand opening of the new building today. Great church with Pastor Tyson preaching straight from the Bible nothing from self. The worship was uplifting with all praise and glory given only to our King. This is not my church but an amazing one. Blessings.

Very devout parish adhering to many of the earlier Catholic Church traditions, including offering Communion using a Communion Rail and a high pulpit.
The parishioners, by my observation, also follow the earlier Catholic Church traditions, such as women wearing veils, and other semantics - but it was VERY refreshing to see and made me feel happy to see these long-time traditions back in practice.
I attended an early morning Mass and there were a good number of parishioners present, including young families, so that was encouraging to see.
A beautiful, orthodox Catholic church of which I am proud to be a parishioner! The parish is vibrant with reverent liturgy, a holy pastor, and plenty of young families. It is wonderful to have a diocesan parish that celebrates and encourages both the Ordinary and Extraordinary forms of the Latin Rite.
We love St. Ann's. It's a very traditional church and they take worship very seriously so those hoping for a more "welcoming" vibe will probably be disappointed. However if you're a more traditional Catholic like myself and you want a place of real, honest worship rather than just "good vibes", St. Ann's is terrific. Fr. Reid gives great homilies he's more right to Catholic teachings and truth rather than a roundabout superfluous story like some priests. I really love the use of the communion rail during communion.

It’s not my home parish but it is the parish closest to where I work! I love the fact that they offer daily mass at 7 AM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. I recommend attending an orchestral mass when you get a chance! I did find that the people here were not very welcoming but Father Reid is incredibly caring! He checked on me from time to time and I was not even an official member of his flock. Father Jones and Father Reid are incredible confessors.
For Catholics who are traditionalists St. Ann Church is where you want to belong. A smaller congregation gives you a feeling of warmth and community. Fr. Reid is accommodating to every culture and their customs.

Good Shepherd Church is actually my client's church and they were feeding the seniors thar day I went. When I say everyone was so nice to me. I even enjoyed the guess speaking from the DMV area. That atmosphere was awesome and food was pretty good as well. I'm just upset we did get to hear the rest of the speaker's message. But if I wasn't already apart of my church... I would've definitely became a member. I'm sure of it.
The pastor truly cares about the church community and the local community. They have many programs in place to help people who are struggling or less fortunate.
We finally found a house in SC, but this is our church-home. Since attending for 3 years, then 2 years online, we have continued to grow in our love for the Lord and the family at Good Shepherd. I know we should find a church to gather and grow near our new home, but we will continue to attend online and grow daily with Talbot’s “Word B4 the World” daily guidance. Best church I have ever gone to. They truly love everyone (families, children, individuals) from all different backgrounds. It is like having an extended family. Love the music, the messages and the fellowship. Teaching from the Bible and applies it to our lives today. God uses Talbot to direct messages at us just when we need it. This is a great Church with sound Bible based teaching that extends to our daily lives. I admire the truth of the staff and of Pastor Talbot Davis how they relate their own experience to the application of the word of God. I used to come to this church in which I had great people with all backgrounds and small groups to help me grow in my faith in God. I still attend through the online sermons and treasure what friends I still have at the church.
Great praise & worship, really good message. Very large church with lots of parking although it is very spread out around the perimeter. Leadership might consider adding a shuttle and perhaps worship service help outside for parking - almost drove off after finding first 3 parking areas full.

We stayed at the hospitality house while my sister was in the hospital in Charlotte. She was there for a couple of weeks after being transferred from another hospital. She was sent there to see the liver Dr's, in hopes of getting a transplant. Unfortunately while there her organs started shutting down and she ended up passing away. The staff at the hospitality house were incredibly compassionate. It was evident how much they cared.
It was a huge blessing to have a place so close to the hospital to stay at and be able to have meals. We spent 90% of our time at the hospital but the generosity of people were not lost on us. We truly appreciated the bags that were put together for the guests. The meals and snacks kept us going without the additional costs of needing to go pay for food at the cafeteria.
They go above and beyond for each guest. I am very grateful for them.

Such a wonderful option when coming in with a family member from out of town. The room was comfortable, the staff friendly, and the volunteer donated meals really made my life easier in the long time that we were here.
If I could rate this a 0 star I would, the staff is not welcoming at all maybe because I’m a young black guy I just don’t know. But it’s the one bald black guy in particular who gave me and my wife a hard time giving us smart remarks and stinky faces his whole shift 🤦🏽♂️
What a great place to stay if you're going to be going into the hospital the next day and you live out-of-town. My wife was able to stay with me. Close, convenient, affordable with many amenities, including free meals provided by volunteers. The staff is professional, friendly, and caring. Highly recommend!
This place is awesome, my brother is in trama ICU at Atrium CMC. We can walk from HHOC to the hospital. After driving from Florida to get here quickly and stay by his bedside, this place helps with our stress level. God Bless HHOC .
We stayed here for a few days while we waited for a room at Ronald McDonald to open up. The staff and volunteers are phenomenal and the rooms are very comfy. We’re very thankful places like this exist to help folks out during an otherwise difficult time in their lives.

Lovely small campus in a quiet wooded area. This is a catholic college. The staff are warm and friendly and they had move-in organized to a T. Most students are athletes.
Our daughter attended BAC for one semester, fall of 23, as a student athlete. The dining hall could not accommodate her food allergy, even after numerous attempts to advocate for herself, meetings with the staff, and emails to the Dean of student life. They refused to give her an exemption from the meal plan or make any other accommodations.
She had a terrible experience as an athlete as well. Losing record and AD doesn’t care. Refused to speak with some parents who shared concerns.
On the bright side, she loved her classes, professors, roommate and made a handful of great friends. The campus is beautiful (Eucharistic Adoration Chapel, Grotto, Stations of the Cross, beautiful buildings).
In the end, our daughter felt like she was just a number, a dollar really. Not the ideals/values you would expect from a small “supposedly” Catholic college. Even as an athlete, you may be just a number, to increase enrollment. So beware!
My husband and I are both cradle Catholics, so we were so excited when our daughter chose to pursue her higher education at a Catholic College. What a disappointing and even embarrassing experience it was…
It’s my first time at a Lacrosse game here. The game is interesting however it was very difficult to get to the field because there were no paths except through the wet grass from the parking lot.

I'm a student here and it's been a great experience. As far as the campus goes, it is absolutely gorgeous. For the school itself, since the school is so small it's guaranteed that you will never feel like "just a number" here. They also are very determined to keep their teaching embedded in Catholic Social Thought, but by no means is there any discrimination against others who have different faiths and creeds. Great college!

I used to be a member of this church where the Pastor loves everyone. They are a family, a true family. They pray for each other, encourage one another, but most importantly love one another. Christ is the most important aspect of my life. My faith grew tremendously after returning to the Rock. Souls are being saved here. What a blessing to witness what God is doing here. First time there. Went there for a memorial service. The pastor was really good. The choir and band was good. The pews are wooden with a cushion on top after sitting a while it was very uncomfortable for me. Nice small church. Very clean and well maitained. Beautiful stained glass. I also ate there they had fried and baked chicken, rice & gravy, string beans, cake, and tea. I had fried chicken, it was cooked perfect, but it was too salty. The rice and gravy was good but too salty. The string beans were ok. The cake was ok. The tea was way too sweet for me! Pay parking in some of the parking lot of the church which I think they use during non church hours or non church events.

I visited the church on All Saint's Day for the first time and really enjoyed Dan Forest's "Requiem for the Living." The sermon that day was respectfully okay. It was the choir and the orchestra members who made it a spiritual experience.
This morning I listened to a recorded sermon titled, "Where do we go from here?" I found it electric, relevant, on-point, and courageous. It saddened me to learn young Pastor Boswell, so articulate, so well-spoken, so enlightened, was let go for some myriad of reasons which didn't make sense to me.
What a shame.
I suppose it took the act of firing Pastor Boswell for me to learn about him and realize I want to hear more. Now, I'll catch up with him elsewhere. No doubt, being the brilliant orator and modern man of the cloth, he's been snapped up by another institution.
This church is transparent about what they stand for and provide a home to the literal ALL seeking community without judgement. It’s been the only place I can whole heartedly go to church and feel in alignment with my soul.
Shame on this church. How are you going to force your pastor to resign for speaking out against fascism?! build the wall between church & state!!

While looking at the reviews posted here, I found some one star. I didn't know the people, which I found interesting since I'm been attending this church for twelve years. I have actually continued to live in Charlotte because of MPBC. It is the most loving, caring community I've ever seen. They follow Christ's concepts of serving others and fight for social justice like no group I've ever seen. When any group or individual is need, they are there to help. I love this place and the unbelievably fine staff and lay people who serve there.
I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the pastor and a large group from the congregation at Common Market Southend on a random weekday night. They were some of the kindest, most free-spirited people I have ever met. Life has gotten in the way of me attending, but plan to as soon as I can.
If you have ever felt marginalized at a church or not accepted, this is the place for you. From my impression, I would caution someone rigged in their views and stern in their convictions of scripture on attending this church, as they would probably say this church is not theologically sound and waste their time.
From my impression, this is a church that is humble, gracious, and exists for the thinkers of the world to attain spiritual growth alongside like-minded people in possession of a loving , compassionate and accepting energy.

The pastor is rude and brushes people off who seek his help. They also preach aggressively bigoted teachings with hypocrisy and no sense of compassion. This was never the way of Jesus.
This is such an amazing church. My family and I have been attending for seven months now and we cannot say enough good things. From the moment we walked into the door we've felt welcome and truly cared for. Their children's ministry is above and beyond, Lisa is over this and she is the sweetest person you'll ever meet. Pastor Mike is a wonderful pastor that cares for you and your family. If you're looking for a church to call home this is it.
If you are looking for a church around Stanley and Denver NC, then I highly recommend attending at least one of their services. You will not be disappointed. Real Life Church also offers so many wonderful things. They are all super nice, sociable, there's always just positive thoughts they have music they have sports they have groups for singles groups for married people for kids of all ages Mike the preacher is actually very into basketball so they're really big in to basketball there and it's just a great place to go then definitely try this at least once.

I miss this church. I moved to PA about 13 years ago and haven't found another church like this one. Mike is one of the best pastors I have ever had the privilege to know. And the church family has always been welcoming to everyone.
In my five+ years as a member of Real Life Church I can honestly say I have never felt more loved on earth than when I walk through the doors and into the arms of my fellow believers and friends! I was very excited, in the beginning, to join a church family near our new home and make friends. What I did not expect was the outpouring and acceptance from everyone, their genuine happiness for my happiness, their faith as strong as my own.
Real Life has changed my husband and myself forever. We feel validated in our beliefs, we feel acceptance without judgment, we feel the overwhelming Spirit of God move through His congregation and beyond our doors!

I recently had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at Camelot Meadows, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The property is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, tucked away, and full of natural charm that makes it a dream location for photos. The open meadows, tall trees, and rustic details throughout the venue gave us a wide variety of backdrops, and everything was well maintained.
The staff was also welcoming and helpful, making the day run smoothly for everyone involved. If you're looking for a venue that offers a serene, nature-filled setting with thoughtful touches and plenty of photo opportunities, Camelot Meadows is a wonderful choice.
Camelot Meadows was a perfect venue. We could not have asked for a better place for our special day. Everything was organized, well kept, clean and overall just simply stunning. Our guests were in awe at the bamboo forest, where we held our cocktail hour. The catering kitchen, large restrooms, and awesome groomsmen’s and bridesmaids changing rooms were the icing on the cake.

What a beautiful venue! We fell in love after our first visit and the venue just kept getting better and better! So much space and freedom to create the wedding of our dreams with an indoor/outdoor vibe and multiple options for ceremony site! We didn’t have to do a lot of decorating because the venue speaks for itself! We also got to stay on the property in an adorable tiny house the night of our wedding! Highly recommend as the owner is super friendly and accommodating!
My husband and I got married at Camelot Meadows in July 2023. Deb and Brigid are amazing; their whole staff is very organized and so helpful! They went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect!! The bamboo forest was BEAUTIFUL - absolutely stunning and our guests loved being able to walk through it!
I've been to this venue several times to do makeup and hair for events and bridal parties, it's absolutely gorgeous, there's a creek and some tiny house cabins that you can rent, the venue is large with a gorgeous beauty studio to get ready in, it's really fantastic! And when you are loading equipment, I can't express how vital it is to be on ground level so you don't have to carry such heavy items up flights of stairs, everything is ground level so it is so easy, and you can park right up at the front to unload.

Attended a wedding here and was struck by the wonderfully still and quiet sense of the grounds and the sanctuary, despite being just a few feet from one of Charlotte's busiest cross-town thoroughfares. The interior is beautiful, and the speaker system one of the best I've heard in a small church.
I'm biased because I grew up attending this parish, but I just returned for afternoon service and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is my spiritual home and I highly recommend it to anyone, whether local or out of town, young families or retirees. It is a large parish and has 6 rectors/associate rectors. Services offered on multiple days of the week and they will welcome you if you're visiting.
This church not only talks about faith, charity, soul purpose but lives it in all ways. A truly remarkable church filled with a spiritually alive congregation. Our rector, Chip Edens and fellow priests are inspiring and create the atmosphere of excitement and caring.

I'm working there to remodel the church i'm a construction worker but when I walked in there all I saw was Bible verses all over the studs and on the floors. Before we hang our sheetrock, I'm a framer and a hanger.\n And I just started going back to church a month ago.\n And when I walked to that church and I saw all them Bible verses, it just made me tear up, that's because God put me there. Because you knows my heart was he put me there. For a reasand maybe it was just to see all the Bible verses on the floors. On all the studs everywhere I'm working. All I see is Bible verses, and I'm so thankful for that. The people who wrote all them Bible verses, all I can say, is, thank you, you brought me more closer to Jesus to God, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

The Belle Crane Inn was the absolutely perfect setting for our son’s wedding, with stunning backdrops inside the historic home, on the porch, in the gardens, and on the deck and inside the tent! We loved the ability to spread out and all the wedding party and guests seemed to have the joyous, comfortable experience every bride dreams of for her special day. Mrs. Barber and her staff went the extra mile to make the day magical from the bridesmaids getting dressed to “First Look” to the happy couple’s leaving in the vintage vehicle that came complimentary with driver! The black and white tiled dance floor was just gorgeous, as were the fully magnolia trees and the cool wraparound porch. Many guests rocked happily in the black Southern porch rockers that adorned the open air deck near the bar area. Our special day could not have been at a better venue.
I recently had the chance to photograph a wedding at The Belle Crane Inn and it was excellent! The property was so pretty and had the most perfect southern vibes, with a beautiful bridal suite inside a historic home, the ceremony right outside with greenery and magnolia trees all around, and the reception just a few steps away under a beautiful tented area.
My daughter's wedding was held at The Belle Crane Inn on October 31st and it was everything we hoped it would be. Margaret, the owner of this lovely home was so attentive and always answered any questions we had, which were many. The grounds are immaculate and the courtyard was the perfect place for the ceremony with the reception on the grounds and screened porches just steps away. The bride and groom were also delighted and I keep hearing from friends how much they loved the venue and the peaceful setting. Thanks, Margaret for all you did to make the day so perfect.

Great venue to host catered meals in conjunction with the QCT Charlotte Black/African-American Heritage Tour by Queen City Tours and Travel. Staff is very friendly and accommodating and the banquet hall very clean.
This is my church so maybe I lack objectivity but if you ever want a feeling of Family, community and a true understanding of the word this is the church to join. I have been a member for three years and believe this was an excellent decision.

The Belk Chapel is Magnificent, and Erin Walters was the key to pulling off our perfect wedding!!!
We chose the chapel because my wife is a Queens University alumnus. I had not been in it before, but the chapel is so elegant that you don't really even need decorations. We held a spiritual, but not religious ceremony, since we had mixed faiths in our audience, and everyone felt comfortable in the settling. In addition, our guests - almost all from out of town - marveled at the Queens campus, and the beauty of the Chapel. And to top it all off, it's like their new rotunda was designed for family photos! Absolutely perfect!!
The other half of the equation was Erin. We first met her while scouting out venues, but we enjoyed meeting her So much that we asked her to Also serve as our day-of coordinator. This came at an additional fee, of course, but after the wedding my wife and I agreed that was BY FAR some of the best money we spent.
So what's so good about her? She knows her job inside and out. She did it perfectly, she anticipated all of our needs, and she solved problems before we ever even knew they existed -- everything we could have asked for in a day-of coordinator!

We wanted a religious service and having recently moved from my home church, Belk chapel allowed us to have a simple yet beautiful wedding with a religious service. We were allowed to bring in a close friend and pastor to conduct the service. It was perfect.

Went to this church yesterday to buy BBQ. When we got to the church, the man at the BBQ tent told us the BBQ was not fresh but in fact leftover from JANUARY!!! And that it’s been frozen for 8 MONTHS !
Cooked pork can only stay safely frozen for up to 3 MONTHS! If anybody has purchased barbecue from this church in the past two days, You might get food poisoning, so please be aware!
My family and I were absolutely shocked that people out here are legally selling expired work at a church. Absolutely heart breaking.

This is where you want to get married! First, it’s beautiful. We did our ceremony at a Catholic church down the street and had our reception at the Rafters, but my favorite photos are by far the ones we took in front of the St Mark’s chapel- it’s so romantic! As a reception venue, it is very reasonably priced, and has everything you could need. We got ready in the adorable carriage house, and we also did my bridal shoot there a few weeks before the wedding- they turned out beautifully. Also, if you book with their caterer (The Flyin’ Lions), you get a discount AND support a good cause! But that’s not even the best part: their food is AMAZING. I am literally still dreaming about the salmon and mashed potatoes from my wedding day, and so many guests told me how much they loved the food. The taste testing was fun too, they have a ton of options! Also, Allison is the best coordinator EVER. You will love working with her, and every vendor I hired that had worked with her before told me the same thing! She is so personable and really gets to know you, and she will bend over backwards to help you with whatever you need. She is fantastic with communication; her responsiveness and helpfulness alone reduced my wedding planning stress. I also loved the preferred vendor list Allison provided; it made it a lot easier to narrow down our vendor choices! Allison and Debbie (from Flyin’ Lions) made our wedding and all the months leading up to it so special and wonderful; we cannot recommend them enough!

The first Google review I read said “the Holy Spirit moves in this place” so I visited here for the first time 8/18/24. Beautiful traditional church where Billy Graham grew up! Young worship team, interim pastor preaches the straight-up word of God. Friendly group of welcoming people. I arrived at 9:00 to discover you enter through the side door and meet for an hour of Sunday School. The leader, Craig, discussed the tension between God’s sovereignty and man’s free-choice. My questions and comments were taken seriously and open discussion encouraged. Prayer requests were taken and then we all went to the sanctuary for the larger service. I didn’t plan on going to Sunday school, and thought the service began at nine. God works in mysterious ways though. I’m so glad I went!

Huge church with several areas for different events. Parking is "challenging" and requires patience.
Our family has been members at MPUMC for four years. We love their children's programs, young adult/young parents programs, and their small groups. Members of our family are active in the children's music ministry, Sunday school (children and adult), New Parent Visitation Team, Wired for Ministry, 12:12, and a Wholly Moms small group that focuses on working moms. The church leadership is very open and approachable. We really like the way James preaches and the message that everyone is invited to God's table. While we have heard feedback that church on Sundays can seem a little stuffy and formal, I would say to just come on in and meet the people and listen to the messages from our pastors.
I have played and ran through the halls of just about every inch of this church as a child, My grandmother was one of the head cooks back then unfortunately she passed in 83, This church holds so many great and priceless memories I will never forget!
