Very interesting place with beautiful old architecture and relaxing gardens decorated for Christmas. Some people bring their dogs here and many couples enjoy the romantic setting.

When visiting Ensenada we recommend this Great historic location just a short walk from the docks. The grounds are in lovely condition with ample well maintained sidewalks and patios. Inside the property reflects the charm and history of the area with access to a number of large rooms, ballrooms and a spacious courtyard, complete with local vendors offing their goods. It’s safe, clean, well maintained and free!

We enjoyed a Fiesta here with our Travel Agent group. The street tacos were delicious and entertainment was great. See more pics and details on Jo Anne Tingle and Tingle Travel Agency Facebook pages.

A great place to enjoy a nice drink, with an easy shopping experience. This historic and astonishing building is full of character, beautiful carved wood and iron work that takes you to some old old times. One of our favorite places to visit when we come to Ensenada

Night club
Hussong’s Cantina, established in 1892, is a historic cantina bar located near Papas & Beer in Baja California. It's known as the birthplace of the margarita and offers an authentic Mexican pub experience with its noisy and crowded atmosphere. The cantina is housed in a historic stage-coach inn and features live bands on most nights, creating a lively environment where visitors and locals come together to enjoy music, singing, dancing, and toasting.
As a margarita enthusiast, I couldn’t pass up the chance to check out this spot! When we arrived, it was relatively quiet, but it didn’t stay that way for long. The place quickly filled up with lively visitors, and once the mariachi band started performing, it was a party! We kicked things off with margaritas, and though the glasses seemed small, they packed a serious punch! Strong but incredibly tasty, they were some of the best I’ve had. Despite the growing crowd, our server made sure we were never without drinks, keeping us well-supplied with margaritas, beer, and even a few rounds of shots. The prices were super reasonable, and the overall vibe was fantastic. Definitely a must-visit if you’re looking for great drinks and a fun time!
Sophie T — Google review
I was staying in Mandalay Bay and wanted a margarita. This was the perfect place and David O was the perfect server for our first visit. The food was on point. The only thing is $70 for a pitcher was a little extreme. However I would go again. 👌🏽👌🏽

A fun, authentic Mexican dive bar atmosphere • Live music on busy nights • Friendly staff • Reasonable prices • Lots of history and charm
M C — Google review
This is the place. Even on a Monday night the atmosphere was just what we were looking for. Live music, excellent service, beautiful crowd just there to enjoy themselves. Drinks were good, tried the famous margarita. Stop by, you won’t regret it.
Andres O — Google review
This was a neat little bar that we came to for their margarita. They make it blended or on the rocks, but only have the original lime flavored one. It has a salt rim and was very tasty and a good drink to get before exploring more of the city. It's right next to a main road that has tons of shops and was a good place to walk arounf after delicious drinks.
Josh H — Google review
Loved the margaritas and music! If you have peanut allergies be aware you dump peanut shells on the floor here.

My first time back after fifty years and this place has barely changed. It feels like the real deal, great atmosphere reasonable prices and good service. I recommend if you want a Mexican bar vibe.

Public beach
Ensenada Municipal Beach is a delightful destination that offers visitors a chance to unwind and soak up the sun along its picturesque shoreline. Located conveniently near Playa Hermosa, this beach is perfect for those looking to enjoy leisurely strolls on the boardwalk or partake in various outdoor activities. The best times to visit are during spring and fall, when the weather is mild and crowds are thinner, allowing for a more serene experience.
I had a great, relaxing time here. My family and I used to frequent this beach when we were kids back in 89. This is the first time I’ve been back since then and it was pretty emotional.
Eduardo R — Google review
Nice little beach. They have some unfortunate horses and ponies tied up at the end. It's sandy.
Moonbeam009 — Google review
This is a great spot to spend the evening, the beach is nice and kept tidy; they have portapotties, vendors selling chips, fruit, candy and drinks and also horesback riding.

Loved the people, the food & weather was perfect! Best fish tacos are Fenix Tacos located on the corner of Juarez & Esperanza Street , for 15 tacos & 2 drinks we paid 22 US bucks!!! Sschweeeet! Also enjoyed the sunset and other food stands. Definitely take a drive to the Bufadora. Wear comfortable shoes, sunscreen and hat, take cash so you can enjoy the delicious food from the vendors up there.

We went on a carnival cruise and our stop was Ensenada, I didn't really enjoy the town ,kind scared me and my family we got chase by men who were demanding money but on the outskirts of it by the beach was really beautiful, food was beyond tasty

It’s a beautiful beach, although the name of the beach it’s PLAYA HERMOSA you can enjoy taking the sunbathing, go for a walk or just sitting by the shoreline drinking a refreshing Piña Colada, or fresh fruit served in a coconut 🥥 that Vendors will offer you in your comfort. Or if you feel like riding a horse to take the stress out , surf 🏄‍♀️ Playa Hermosa It’s the one🥰🌴🏄‍♂️🧘‍♂️🏊

Nestled in an elevated residential area, Cañon de Doña Petra Ecological Park is a sought-after destination in Ensenada, offering stunning vistas of the city and Baja California's coastline. The park boasts a network of well-maintained trails suitable for walking, hiking, and mountain biking. Visitors can unwind with a book or partake in outdoor activities amidst picturesque surroundings.
I just went to this park on a Tuesday afternoon and it was really nice and absolutely no trash anywhere. The trails are well groomed for bikes or walking and a playground for kids amoung the trees. The parking lot landscaping was all new and looks really nice. It was great.
Brandy A — Google review
Great because there’s a lot of nature, but sadly there’s a little bit of trash in the park. But there’s a nice playground for children. And it’s close to the town.
Pauline B — Google review

Ruben E — Google review
Great place to enjoy a beautiful view and work out ☺️☺️
Speedemon97 — Google review
Sorry to say it but this place stinks like sewer all along the trail(s). There are portions of the trail that cross the very-polluted stream and you will eventually get it on your shoes or clothes. Nasty place. That said, if you can stand the smell there are lots of birds there if you're looking to do some bird watching. I was expecting an oasis and it doesn't remotely approach that expectation. I don't know where people are getting the idea of "beauty" here...
Jonathan C — Google review
The Canyon was once a pristine and thriving environment but it's become a nightmare with thousands of gallons of raw sewage being dumped into every day. Sewage that is coming from the community Los Encino's located at the end of Ruiz Ave, just across the street from an OXXO store and behind some small stores. The stream it runs down is the Arroyo Ensenada which runs into the ocean next to where the Cruise Ships dock.
Vaughn R — Google review
A natural beautiful place pretty near Ensenada downtown. A lot of green, different bird species. It seems it used to be a restaurant or something like that but that building is absolutely a mess.

Museum
The Museo Histórico Regional is a noteworthy museum that presents displays on the life, customs, environment, and chronicles of Baja California. This landmark institution offers an additional history-focused option for enthusiasts in the Riviera Cultural Center building. Housed within a former jail, it provides ample opportunities for capturing photographs of the old cells. Throughout the facility, visitors can appreciate various artworks and exhibits showcasing indigenous pottery and artifacts from the Kumiai and Pai Pai communities.
A small free history museum with an overview of Baja from the Precambrian to the present. Most exhibits in the main gallery are signed in English and Spanish. A fascinating temporary exhibition on the local Japanese-Mexican community was Spanish only.
Alethea M — Google review
Free entrance to this museum is totally worth it. Feel free to leave some donations to keep this place open. :) it’s a old Mexican prison
Upendra B — Google review
Here is a small piece of Ensenadan History. They no longer have a jail in the center of town. But that doesn't mean they don't exercise the strong arm of the law here. Very interesting place to visit. It is now a historical museum. It is free and open to the public. Donations are appreciated. They also have a free, well maintained baño.
Cat-backyardurbengarder — Google review
Price of admission is optional donation. Interesting displays and exhibits. Very much worth visiting.
G W — Google review
This is the old public jail of Ensenada which was closed, I think, 30 years ago. The tour is free and has lots of points of interest. For a good scary feeling about what it might have been to be incarcerated there, check out those tiny cells! Later walk across the street to the Megaburro cafe for a delicious meal and a margarita!

Fuente Interactiva Ventana al Mar, located in Mexico where ships dock, is a remarkable destination that beautifully combines art, nature, and the vibrant spirit of coastal Mexico. My visit to this interactive fountain left me with a memorable experience, and I'm excited to share my review. The Fuente Interactiva, or Interactive Fountain, is a captivating sight as you approach the area. It's not just an ordinary fountain; it's a delightful show of water and light that dances in harmony. The use of LED lights and choreographed water jets creates a mesmerizing spectacle, particularly when it's illuminated in the evening. The way the fountain reflects the surrounding environment and the ocean's proximity adds to its allure. One of the best aspects of this attraction is its interactivity. Visitors, especially children, will have a blast running through the fountains and trying to dodge the jets of water as they shoot up in unpredictable patterns. It's a fantastic way to cool off and have fun, making it a perfect spot for families. The location of the Fuente Interactiva Ventana al Mar is truly special. Being situated near the docking area for ships adds an extra layer of charm to the experience. Tourists arriving by cruise ships can step off the vessel and be welcomed by this engaging and refreshing attraction. It offers a welcoming introduction to the local culture and ambiance. The surrounding area features well-maintained walkways and green spaces that provide a scenic setting for leisurely strolls or picnics. The view of the ocean and the ships coming and going adds to the overall ambiance. It's a peaceful place to relax and take in the coastal scenery. Local vendors and food stands in the vicinity offer a taste of Mexican cuisine and souvenirs, making it convenient for tourists to indulge in local flavors and find mementos of their visit. In conclusion, the Fuente Interactiva Ventana al Mar is a delightful stop for anyone visiting the area where ships dock in Mexico. It offers a harmonious blend of entertainment, art, and natural beauty. Whether you're arriving by cruise ship or exploring the local surroundings, the interactive fountain and its serene environment provide a unique experience that captures the essence of coastal Mexico. It's a wonderful place to unwind, enjoy the views, and have some fun, making it a memorable part of your visit to this charming destination.

I wasn’t expecting much but it’s pretty cool fountain show with music. Starts at 8 and goes till about 830. Def worth a visit. Nice place to be at sunset.
Danny G — Google review
A fun place for the whole family specially on a sunny day, these dancing fountains won't be mistaken for the Bellagio's water display, however, you can get in in the action on these fountains for a refreshing experience if the sun is getting too hot for you. These fountains dance to an eclectic and diverse musical selection ranging from classical music by the old masters, Guns n Roses hits, Bob Marley, cinematic soundtracks and pop hits from today and yesteryear. I was surprised by the sound quality, specially being an outdoors venue, you can enjoy the music clearly while the water jets react to the rythm (and perhaps also the visitors)

Nestled in the heart of Ensenada, Mexico, the Museo de Historia is a delightful gem that invites visitors to embark on an enlightening journey through Baja California's past. Housed in the historic Riviera del Pacifico casino building, this charming museum offers a well-curated collection that spans from the Paleolithic era to contemporary times. As you wander through its seven thoughtfully designed rooms, you'll encounter captivating exhibits showcasing ancient artifacts and relics from colonial days alongside more recent historical items.
A fine evening spend soaking in all the goodness - like a cute cafe, an interesting chess class in the cafe, beautiful architecture of the museum, a bar with a beautiful sit out and a breezy promenade just outside the building!

My husband and I came here as an excursion on a cruise. Although it was hard to understand what the guides were saying (it's very echo-y) the music and dances they showed us were spectacular and the free margarita was a special treat! We loved our visit!

After watching a youtube video posted 10 months by Gareth Leonard touring the museum and old casino and reading several recent reviews, we decided to visit. We arrived during opening hours when the museum was showing online as open, and it was not. We flagged down a man working inside and asked about the hours and were told that the museum has not opened in two years due to the pandemic. Very confusing.

It really have nothing but a bunch of old (but not too old) vases and replicates of arrows. It is just like three small rooms. It was very disappointing. I granted it two stars because it is located on a nice large building that appears to host shows or expositions, but only on the nights.

Plaza Cívica de la Patria, also known as Ensenada's central square, is a vibrant and historically significant public space that attracts both locals and tourists. The plaza features busts of important Mexican historical figures and hosts cultural musicians, creating a lively atmosphere. It's an ideal place to shop for unique souvenirs and gifts. This iconic gathering spot serves as the heart of the city, hosting various civic events and celebrations.

Claritza S — Google review
Plaza Cívica de la Patria, a prominent public square located in [please specify the city or country], is a remarkable place that holds great historical and cultural significance. My visit to this square left a lasting impression, and I'm excited to share my thoughts in this review. The plaza, known as "Plaza Cívica de la Patria," is an iconic gathering spot that serves as the heart of the city and a focal point for numerous civic events and celebrations. Its name alone conveys a sense of patriotism and national pride, setting the stage for the experiences one can expect here. One of the most striking features of the plaza is its grand architecture and design. The square is often adorned with statues, monuments, and sculptures that pay tribute to the nation's heroes and pivotal historical events. These artistic elements not only add to the visual appeal of the plaza but also serve as educational pieces, providing visitors with insights into the country's past and the individuals who played vital roles in shaping its history. The ambiance of Plaza Cívica de la Patria is truly captivating. As a visitor, you can't help but feel a sense of reverence and appreciation for the nation's heritage as you stroll through this spacious square. The open layout allows for a comfortable flow of foot traffic, making it an ideal place for both solitary reflection and community gatherings. I particularly enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere during local festivals and national holidays, where the plaza comes alive with music, dancing, and a true sense of unity among the people. Furthermore, the plaza often hosts cultural events, exhibitions, and open-air performances, making it a dynamic center for the arts. Whether it's a live music concert, a dance performance, or an art fair, Plaza Cívica de la Patria offers a platform for artists and creatives to showcase their talents and engage with the public. This cultural vibrancy contributes significantly to the plaza's overall appeal. The surrounding area of the plaza is well-maintained, with ample seating, well-kept gardens, and recreational spaces, providing a peaceful setting for relaxation or a leisurely picnic. It's also common to find street vendors offering local snacks and refreshments, allowing you to savor some traditional flavors while taking in the scenery. In conclusion, Plaza Cívica de la Patria is more than just a public square; it's a symbolic and cultural hub that encapsulates the essence of the nation it represents. Its rich history, architectural beauty, and dynamic atmosphere make it a must-visit for tourists and a cherished gathering place for locals. Whether you're interested in history, culture, or simply enjoying the outdoors, this plaza has something to offer for everyone. It's a place where you can connect with the soul of the city and the spirit of the country, making it a memorable and enriching experience.
William W — Google review
Definitely a great place to visit if you are visiting Ensenada! It's full of tourist so there are many great places to eat and find pretty much anything you need since there are plenty of different vendors. You can hop on tours from there to the Buffadora or take city tours as well.

I walked here from playa hermosa. The last time I saw the heads was when I was a kid. That was back in 1989. I think having a memorial that honors service members and people who have fought for their country is extremely important and awesome. That massive flag is equally amazing.

Ensenada Mirador is a stunning vantage point located just above the main road Calle Primera, offering breathtaking views of the city and its port. The winding road leading to this picturesque spot takes about 10 minutes by car. Visitors can revel in the spectacular sight of Ensenada, especially during sunset or sunrise when the city is illuminated by night lights or bathed in early morning sunlight.
Nice views and vista overlook that’s less than 10 minutes from downtown Ensenada. To get there, you have to drive up a semi-steep hill and park on a somewhat hidden road. Be careful, cars have a blind spot driving up! Once you are on top, the street parking is on the right side, next to the entrance to the gates community (pictured). When you are leaving, you make a tight u-turn back up. Once you park, walk across the street the overlook is a short walk away. No wheelchair access but older folks/disabled folks have access and can take their time to get there once they cross the street. The location is not the cleanest and the city could clean it up a bit but great overall!
Giovanni P — Google review
This is a really pretty vantage point to see all of Ensenada in. It really helps him up just how beautiful the seaside town is. Most people go for sunset over the Pacific Ocean and it can get a bit crowded up there. But it’s really stunning right before sunrise and the city is still glimmering with its night lights and the sun is coming up over the mountains. The road up and down is super steep and doesn’t have guard rails and I don’t suggest walking. You will need a car.

Best view. All of Ensenada and the ports. First time there, short 5 minute hike from the gate. Wear shoes for rocky and dirt terrain. It is closed off and gated off but everyone walks in because it is not completely sealed off. Great view in the daytime. Must be better at night but because of the unmonitored location and terrain it is not recommended for children at dark. There is an access paved road and a private secured gated community next door.
Eddy B — Google review
Beautiful view - specially at night; bring your camera if you want to take cool pictures. Be warned though, there is no parking other than a few spots on the street. Also, beware of mosquitoes in case you wear shorts.
Ramon R — Google review
The mirador is fantastic. but there is no place to park the car. Kind of disappointed.
ROSARIO C — Google review
One of the most beautiful view points in all of Ensenada. Wear warm clothes during the winter and fall seasons, as the weather is cool in this area. There are no services in this area too, so come prepared. I wish that the politicians would develop this zone so that tourists could have services and other things, as the point here is truly beautiful.

10Birria restaurant Guadalajara

Restaurant
Birria Restaurant Guadalajara is a traditional Mexican eatery located on Avenue Ruiz. The restaurant specializes in birria, a Mexican stewed meat dish. They offer a variety of meats, including lamb and goat, served in corn tortillas with onions, cilantro, lime, radishes, and salsas. The restaurant is known for its super fresh salsa and large tacos.
La Guadalajara specializes in birria, or Mexican stewed meats, and their food really hit the spot! Since they offered a variety of meats, ordering the tacos was a great way to sample a variety, and I got the Birria de Borrego (lamb) and the Birria de Chivo (goat), both of which were served in a corn tortilla along with chopped onions, cilantro, lime, radishes, a mild salsa of chopped tomatoes/onions/herbs, a spicy red salsa, and tortilla chips. Both of the meats were tender and delicious, though I slightly preferred the chivo (goat), which was meatier, leaner, and more flavorful. I also especially liked the mild salsa, which had a nice refreshing flavor, and the ability to customize the condiments on each taco. Everything was delicious and came at a good value, and the service was super friendly and attentive too!

Amazing birria restaurant in Ensenada's Distrito Centro Historico, just a block from the absolute must-experience Cantina Hussong, the oldest bar in Baja (dating back to 1892) and the (alleged) birthplace of the Margarita.

We had a large group and were pleasantly surprised by how quickly we received our food and the reasonable prices. Everything was delicious! We would absolutely come back if we ever visited Ensenada again.
Michelle L — Google review
My go-to spot for birria in Ensenada. Tried the lamb, goat, and beef on separate occasions which were all very tender, juicy, and flavorful. Love loading up my soup and tacos with cilantro and onions which they provide on the side. Service is always excellent and the ambiance feels very authentic and vintage. I would give them one more star if they offered a crunchy taco version with cheese melted on the outside. These are easier to dip into the soup than the softer taco version.

If you’re passing through Ensenada, you’ve got to stop here for their Birria and the corn tortillas. Absolutely delicious and the staff is very friendly! It did help us to have a Spanish speaker among us.
D T — Google review
Super fresh salsa; I could smell it from outside the restaurant while they were making it. Highly recommend the birria de res quesataco (I ordered one but wish I had ordered two). The tacos were larger than typical street tacos. The staff was super friendly and quick, and the corn tortillas were riquísimas🤌🏻 they also have large bathrooms.

I ordered the Lamb Birria and it was so tender and full of flavor... The soup that came with it was the best part and definitely comfort food.. Sooooo goood!!

Pacifica Bay Beach is a stunning coastal gem that attracts surfers with its ideal waves and offers a serene environment for beachgoers. Surrounded by unique rock formations, this picturesque beach boasts sparkling white sand and provides visitors with some shade to relax under. While it remains tranquil during the weekdays, weekends can see an influx of visitors, making it lively yet still enjoyable.
This beach is fantastic and free!!! It is clean and hardly anyone has been here in the two days that I have come. The beach is long, so there is plenty of room to wander along the water. The only downside is that there are no bathrooms at the beach or nearby, so be prepared!

Cool little spot by playa hermosa. Couple beers and some fruit. We’re all set. Parking is free. About 5 minute walk to the beach.

Great spot to spend an afternoon with the family. Very clean and not very crowded. We even found a lagoon that was very nice.
Fernando S — Google review
A decent and relaxing beach to visit in Ensenada. It’s not too crowded and has a peaceful vibe. The view of the ocean is beautiful, especially during sunset. The area is clean and good for a short walk or to just sit and enjoy the breeze. Not a must-see, but a nice moderate spot if you’re in the area and want some quiet beach time.
Sharmili R — Google review
Long and beautiful beach. Perfect waves for surfing and pillowy sand for dog-walking. Remember this is an area where a few protected bird species live. If you’re walking your dog always keep them on a leash. It’s the law.
Adrian R — Google review
Free parking. Easy beach access Clean and well maintained
Lijin R — Google review
I'm not sure what other folks are talking about; this place is scary. Not for kids. There's an open air dump we ran into with stray dogs right as we tried to walk to the beach from Costco. Locals told me they dump raw sewage into the ocean here, so don't swim. Beach was littered with fresh broken glass, dog poop, and fish carcasses. And there are military soldiers with M16s all over to make you feel extra safe? Bummer - could be an amazing beach if it was cared for properly.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Ensenada, Baja Naval Marina is a premier destination for boat enthusiasts. With 50 slips accommodating vessels up to 100 feet, this marina offers an array of amenities including drinking water, fuel services, and round-the-clock security. Guests can enjoy clean restrooms, concierge assistance, and reliable wireless internet access. The marina also provides support with fishing licenses and immigration processes.
Great experience. Fitted us in sooner than expected. Fairly priced. Fab staff - shout out to Denisse, Yahaira, Roberto and Fernando, plus Johnny the security guy. Shame that we never saw any of the 'upstairs staff' who seemed rather elite. Highly recommend. (And thank-you for my birthday flowers 💐)

Very helpful Full Service boatyard with great painters with reasonable prices. The staff got us through our never ending Mexico check in process. Highly Recommended.
Ewm002 — Google review
Excellent workmanship. I had the hull painted on my Beneteau Oceanis 48. The original gelcoat had faded and it needed some serious love. Victor Garcia at Baja Naval was my project manager and was super communicative and professional. The job was done using Alex-Seal products and I could not have been happier. I have had my issues with Driscoll in San Diego and the Baja Naval staff act as though they actually care about your patronage. I highly recommend this boat yard for its value, professionalism and high quality work. Well done team Baja Naval!
J L — Google review
Great people (especially Denisse). Easy access. Clean power. Perfect for a stopover checking in or out of Mexico. Full service boatyard if that's your need.
Alan L — Google review
I really wanted to like Baja Naval. On paper they have great hourly rates and the yard seems like a professional operation with great reviews. And sailing to Baja and spending time in Ensenda sounds fun right? Not the case for us. Not worth the hassle. It took them 7 months to do 1 month of work and the savings were arguable. Not to mention a headache to remotely manage and constantly stay on top of. Mexico time is not your friend here. Unless you are located in Southern Cal and want to do a quick paint job, or sailing by with an emergency, stick to your local boatyard where you can keep an eye on your boat, have clear communication and easily remove it if the project spins out of control. Also expect at least 1 full day of paper work on either end of your project dealing with the front desk and Port Authority. Not fun on hot days. Keep your schedule loose. Be sure to have your boats Temporary Import Permit (TIP) in order as well. We knew nothing about that until our arrival and were lucky we didn't get turned away. This was our first time taking the boat across the boarder so we should have been more prepared. I will say the office did help us a great deal here. Here are some of our experiences to help you make your own opinion. 1. They asked for a $300 wire deposit to hold our space which they lost track of and we still have not received compensation for. 2. We had to send them a project list after 1 month of not hearing from them. 3. We had to drive down new portlights because they could not order them in time. 4. They were not able to source certain finish material so they had to custom paint the interior panels to match the rest of the cabin. We had to ask them to do this from just seeing pictures. 5. Even after the paint job fiasco, we arrived to the forward panels un painted. 6. The portlights were not caulked on the interior leaving the new panel edges exposed to rain or splash or leaks. 7. Their mechanic was on "other projects" for the last few months and not able to attend to our engine needs. Instead we had to pay a subcontractor their own rate to address our engine and windlass literally the day we were planning on leaving. 8. Finally, after scheduling our pick up, we arrived to filthy unorganized boat, masking tape and tools and dust everywhere, screws and debris in the sink drain. I had to remount various fixtures that were taken off the old panels. The stereo wasn't working and had to be rewired. It took us an afternoon cleaning up. 9. There were countless emails back and forth and hard to read invoices and phone arguments and negotiations and lots of radio silence.... 10. It was very hard to have them quote jobs. 11. Their hourly rates did not align with the work performed. Some pros: 1. The quality of the work seems to be pretty good. 2. Ensenada is great. 3. Staff is friendly. 4. You can stay on your boat. They have showers. 5. Great location. Tips: 1. Uber back and forth from TJ. Cross on foot. 2. Stay at El Cid in the historic downtown. Its close to the boatyard. 3. Eat at La Guerrerense Carreta 4. Have very clear expectations with the Boat Yard with a small project scope. 5. There is no fuel dock in the immediate area. Its about 3.5 NM up the coast outside the harbor. This was not out first time to a boatyard. We are very reasonable and experienced boat owners and have great relationships all the way up the coast. I guess we expected too much from Baja Naval. Good luck!

They have done a superb job on our 60’ sailboat. The craftsmanship was excellent and every employee made an effort to be sure I was satisfied with their work. Also the customer service agent paid attention to details and advised me in advance what was going to happen.

I had the greatest experience with this boat yard. We arrived unannounced and yet they helped me quickly with several different issues and were fairly priced. The service was excellent and everyone was helpful. Victor also helped us through the immigration process. I wish the U.S. immigration process was as good as what our experience was in Mexico.

We had an unforgettable experience kayaking along Ensenada's stunning coastline! The highlight was seeing La Bufadora (the Blowhole) from a unique perspective—paddling near its powerful sprays was absolutely thrilling. Our guides were knowledgeable, fun, and kept us safe the whole time. Perfect for nature lovers and adventure seekers—this kayak tour is a must-do in Ensenada! 🚣‍♀️🌊 10/10!

Excellent pre-tour communication. Great tour guide. But we had trouble finding the meeting place. Horseback riding on the beach was fun but that part of it was a little sketchy. The guy walking alongside the 3 of us did take photos of us though. Kayaking was cool, great guides; a lot of physical exertion. I think it was the best tour to choose from what’s available in Ensenada.

From start to finish, this was one of the most amazing excursions I have ever done. If I could give them 100 stars, I would. Very knowledgeable and passionate. They made this experience memorable.

What a fantastic experience! I was very impressed with the high level of communication as well as the super friendly staff. The trip was exhilerating yet at the same time, as a beginner, I felt very comfortable and safe. There were more experienced kayakers in the group but I never felt intimidated. What an unforgettable way to explore this natural wonder in beautiful Ensanada Mexico. I can't wait to return and do it again.

Our guide, Esau, was very enthusiastic about the bufadora and pointed out starfish while we kayaked. The actual kayaking was short but moderately challenging. Super cool and unique perspective of the bufadora!
