Had a nice breakfast here at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately the brezens weren't super fresh, and we chose this place because of them... But overall I'd say the breakfast is a good value for money.

This is a chain restaurant. It’s all over Nuremberg. From just a small kiosk to a cafe bakery like this one. This one has a drive thru and some hot foods and a nice outdoor patio. I ordered the weisswurst. It was sub par. The pretzel is good but not great. What’s nice is you can get pretzel sandwiches. Prices are reasonable. I had the weisswurst, pretzel, green tea and lebkuchen for 10.50 Euros. You do have to buss your own table.

Best Brezen , when made fresh! Unfortunately Brezen are almost always chewy since they are pre made and sit in the fridge for a while (which is totally understandable, unfortunately)

I tried the drive-in option and ordered butter breze with coffee. Everything was great.

They have the worst breze ever! They have one job to do, make a soft, fresh breze! Very disappointed. I have been there already three times and every time the breze was hard and not eatable. Will never go there again!

The hummus pretzel was really good! An amazing option for vegans like me 💕. The coffee had nothing special, also more bad than a good taste. Also, the opening hours was different than the maps page.

The vegan wrap was delicious 😋. Service was good and efficient. A bit pricey, but it is the big city. We wanted to eat outside but we're infested with bees. There were even dead bees 🐝 on the table and benches.

Nice burgers for the value you pay. Food was delivered quite fast and was delicious. There is plenty of choice for vegetarian options (burgers). Note: you can also "tune" your burgers or in other words add extra ingredients to your burger of choice. We also recommend the lemonade they make.

I had high hopes for this restaurant. We arrived and the place was 75% empty with three staff members working the room. We were seated at 1100. We watched two servers talk and clear a large table in record “slow time”. At 11:20 our drinks and food were ordered. At 12:05 our food was delivered. My water glass had a dangerous sharp chip in the rim. The staff is young and inattentive. Sadly I can’t recommend this restaurant.

This is a fun, casual eatery on Wespennest that serves quite a few vegetarian and vegan friendly dishes. They have a Bohemian and atmospheric interior seating with quite a few tables. Vibes are really good, making this a neat spot for families, small groups and couples. We ate here a couple times during a recent visit to Nuremburg, taking advantage of their healthy dishes. Enjoyed their hummus starter, MamaZeiti salad and their tarte flambee, particularly their Mediterranean variety. Portions are large, prices reasonable for what is charged, service friendly, helpful with orders and timely. Would gladly return next time in Nuremburg.

Simply incredible, the MUST go place in Nürnberg. The have a great choice of dishes to choose from, vegetarian, vegan also. From breakfast, brunch or whatever you might want, here you can find it. Furthermore, they have discount for students (the prices are nonetheless reasonable). The service is friendly and fast.

Best Brunch in the city hands down. You will be wowed by the selection. Try the Rubarb juice. Yummy. It is a cool hip and trendy place you can take the family. Bathrooms are both restaurants...ladies you will need this in for on sunday as it is packed. Make a reservation to get your seat at the table.

I visited here lately. I really liked the location of the restaurant. They don’t have many things on the menu, rather than the good variety of flammkuchen (flatbread) . I like the view outside of the restaurant! And the inside of it is also nice. Waitresses are nice and friendly. The prices are a little bit too expensive for the portions offered in this restaurant. (That’s one of the bings I would change). They also offer 20% student discount! So keep your student ID with you if you’re planning to go there! And show it before you place your order. I would go again! But with my student ID. They also have happy hour, I think it starts at 5pm until 7pm.

Excellent roasters. I met the manager who kindly explained their roasting process, showed me different bean types and had an amazing chat with him. Espresso was delicious and I bought Ethiopia beans to go.

Arrived here from European Coffee Trip, I had the flat white, they recommended me two types of coffee beans, so I choose both of them. 😁 They toast the beans on the spot, I enjoyed it, they met the expectations. They also have some cold press apple juice, and a great variety of coffee for home.

The place is located close to downtown but in a really relax area, which I love because you don’t get the noise of the city but in few steps you are in the heart of the city. I would put this place more as a bistro than a pure coffee. The prices are fair and have space inside and outside for when the weather is nice. They have a selection of fresh home made cakes that are really nice with the correct amount of sweetness. Their beer menu is very good together with the cocktails, better than their coffee selection I must say. The only downside for me is the kind of atmosphere, the deco is pretty retro chic cool but every time I am there I feel kind of uncomfortable because attracts an specific customer that makes me feel uncomfortable. But again, that is just me.

Coffee was good. You can choose from few types of beans. There are not many places inside, some tables outside. Water and toilet are here. All was ok, but not more. That's why I don't have a reason to come back again...

We had breakfast at here on both mornings of our stay in Nuremberg, and it quickly became a nice highlight. The coffee was excellent; smooth, rich, and clearly roasted with care. Pastries and cakes were equally impressive, from a perfectly spiced cinnamon knot to a fresh berry tart that was as beautiful as it was delicious. The space itself feels warm and welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to linger a little longer. Consistently wonderful both visits, it’s the kind of café that makes you look forward to the start of the day.

Card payment only. I'm not a huge coffee drinker I just started my journey. I enjoyed the Cafe Latte very much it was perfect for someone like me who enjoys the complex flavours of Coffee but is not much a fan of the bitterness. They got different kinds of milk (I chose Oat) and even pastries and cake. I tried the poppyseed-Curd-Turnover. It was delicious. Cross on the outside and soft and flavourful on the inside. The service was also very nice. You can get takeaway but only in Reusable Cups which cost 1€. You can return them everywhere to get your money back BUT in this store since they only take card payment.

Facing the Schlayerturm (medieval tower) and right along the famous Weißgerbergasse, this was the perfect stop for breakfast or a coffee break. The coffee was great, cakes too (especially the cheesecake). The staff were friendly. Enjoyed our time here even if it was just for half an hour.

Great place for coffee or tea! The service was excellent and atmosphere was nice and quiet. The barista knows what his doing and it shows on he's craftsmanship, plus he speak English and Spanish so you know you'll get what you want without the worries of a language barrier. Had a cafe latte and a Bio tea and both were great. Average price for Nurnberg cafes and same for finding parking if you're driving.

It’s a pretty place hidden near the old town, the ambience is great and the cappuccino tasted good, the prices are nominal, well decorated interiors and they provide you free tap water, the red velvet cake was much salty could haven’t been better, when informed them they refunded half the price and provided a tiny smoothie which was a good gesture, overall good

Here it is quiet and you can speak easily. There are 2 types of beans for coffee, but there were little bit the same. Flat White with oat milk wasn't tasty. The ingwer cookie wasn't fresh and didn't feel so much. Honey torte is very tasty.

Very cozy, unique place. A big sortiment of cakes, sweets and hot drinks. I chose the honey cake and filtered coffee. The cake was very similar to the traditional Russian honey cake (медовый торт) which I couldn’t find anywhere in Nürnberg, so I definitely recommend you try it! The coffee was definitely one of the best I’ve tried. If I am not mistaken the “small” pot eas around 300ml which is way more than “small” portions in other cafes. Overall, very nice place to have a coffee and I will be visiting this place more often!

We stayed a night in Nurnberg and were looking for a place to have breakfast since we wanted a change from the standard hotel breakfasts that we often get on travels. Google recommended this place as one of the cafes nearby the hotel. Glad we followed the tip. The vegan and vegetarian sandwich that we had was freshly made and delicious. The Greek yoghurt “Good mood” more than lives up to its name. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The cakes looked delicious but unfortunately we were too full to try them. Will definitely be back when we are in the area again.

A great place for a great meal at a good price! I love their stuffed baked potatoes with their huge selection of fillings, including many vegetarian and vegan options. Service was very friendly and our food was prepared quickly. The portions are very large, and our veggie and hummus filled potatoes were very delicious. We will definitely return here again sometime soon!

Their stuffed potatoes are super delicious, the best I have eaten so far! The portions are big and you will not be disappointed ! A big plus point is, that their cakes are also very very tasty- I love the carrot cake you should try! The only thing is that after going there you will smell like a baked potato 🤣 but it is worth it!

A nice coffee place, bigger than expected :) with tables outside available if the wrleather is friendly. The food is mostly sandwiches, no gluten-free options for bread/ wraps. The coffee is amazing! Espresso Lab is a modern café in Nuremberg that serves high-quality specialty coffee. The interior is stylish and calm, making it ideal for relaxing or working. Located somewhat away from the center of the city, this cafe was not overcrowded, making it a great place to hang out.The cappuccino was a creamy delight that tickled my taste buds with its flavor. Bagel was crunchy on outside and had fresh cheese and veggies . The hazelnut brownie was scrumptious and was gooey on the inside .The cheesecake was the perfect balance of creamy and fresh. One of my favorite Cafes in the city. This particular branch has a lot of outside space and parking. So my kid has enough space to run around in summer. My absolute favorites - White Chocolate Mocha and Granola Bowl. Delicious and fulfilling.

My family attended a workshop with Heidi and Steffi and this was absolutely wonderful. They were so helpful, informative and we loved the atmosphere in the bakery. We bought quite a bit of lebkuchen here and also had coffee. One of the highlights of our roadtrip through Southern Germany! Highly recommended!

Accidentally stumbled across this spot when trying to find a reprieve from the cold and rainy market Nextdoor. Incredible service, hot and fresh gingerbread! Lots of options to sample and taste the different options. I got a coffee (filter) and it was served with delicious and fresh sugar/ginger cookies on top! Will definitely come back here for a cup of coffee and a sweet treat!

Excellent authentic Elisen lebkuchen. I grew up with this delicacy as my aunt from Germany would homebake some or get them as gifts. Finally coming to Nurnberg for the first time, having this fresh was just extraordinary! Highly recommend the Noir or dark chocolate one! Very nutty, moist and soft centre. 5 🌟!!

Beautiful experience there Employees are nice The shop is well stocked with biscuits every where from the famous lebkuchen to other original biscuits . The lebkuchen are made on - site and are of different Flavours : classic ,chocolate .... You even can enjoy a lebkuchen chocolate drink !!! They are a little bit more extensive but they are located on the main place and the biscuits are big :))))

Lebkuchen (gingerbread) stores and cafes are a MUST in Nürnberg. I really like this one specially. Besides a a big variety of gingerbread options all year long, you can get a nice cup of coffee or a nice chai latte. They have as well sometimes cake or strudel in case you don’t feel like gingerbread day. The place has a nice space inside with a traditional oven and beautiful atmosphere and if the weather is nice you can sit outside and have a nice view of one of the town squares and view to the castle.

Here you have all varieties of gingerbread you can imagine, but also many other traditional sweets & also the authentic warm red wine that is served in cold winter months. Everything right across the Nuermebug Christkindlesmarket that is one of the oldest Christmas markets. Gingerbread is also made fresh just in front of you.

The cafe offers the best hot chocolate you will find! The owner roasts coffee aswell as cacao beans and has a delicious selection to sell to customers! Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and perfect coffee! Will visit again when in Nürnberg!

Great Cafe that has a wonderful selection of hot chocolate. I had the XOCO Coco which seemed to be hot chocolate with coconut milk. It was delicious and tasted like a liquid version of an Almond Joy candy bar!!

Coffee was exceptional - delicate, nutty, just slightly spiced and well balanced. Aztec chocolate wasn't bad flavour-wise, but was only lukewarm which spoilt it. Service was slow for ordering only beverages. At least the venue was somewhere warm that was open on a Sunday!..

Legit pleasant and authentic surprise find off these main side streets. I rarely give 5 stars, but will in anticipation of stopping in every visit to try everything else in the menu. Edit: 🥕 cake divine. Cocount milk hot chocolate good. Cardamom one even better.

The staff is really friendly, the black coffe is above average compared to the surrounding coffee shops or backeries and they offer some preparation methods. The place is clean and cozy. The prices are above average but not expensive if you compare it with Starbucks for example.

I was coming here often to enjoy a coffee and work on my laptop. Much nicer than Starbucks. However, a couple of days ago they locked all the electricity plugs. Unable to charge my laptop and work, I stopped coming here, such like many others who prefer to work from a cafe. Such a pity that I have to go to Starbucks now, just because they have electricity plugs there.

Tiny space, walls lined with old records, the smell of whiskey and nostalgia in the air. Ordered a beer just to start slow, but ended up talking to the bartender about their ridiculous collection of single malts and switched to smoky Laphroaig because, why not? Music was all vinyl – rock, punk, blues, none of that generic club garbage – and everyone was vibing like they actually listened to the music instead of just using it as background noise for selfies. The place got packed fast, shoulder-to-shoulder type packed, but somehow it felt cozy instead of suffocating. People were chill, no posers, just locals and random travelers squeezed together sharing stories and drinks. Left smelling like an old record store and loving it. Definitely the kind of bar that makes you feel cooler just for being there.

A great place on the best street in Nürnburg.

It's a small bar with a large variety of spirits of very good quality. It's like wonderland. The music is always excellent and the atmosphere starts out cozy, then as the night progresses it becomes crazy because it gets crowded but still nice and friendly.

Context - I’m a tourist so my experience may be different from locals visiting this bar. I’m here to talk about my experience and some constructive critique from the lens of a tourist. We are both bartenders in the USA and would not recommend this bar to any out-of-towners. We walked in on Wednesday, October 2nd in the evening. There were 12 people in there total (I ended up counting because of how ridiculous the service was). We walked straight to the bar and it took the bartenders 15 minutes to even acknowledge us and take our order. Another 5 minutes to pour two glasses of red wine. They were either cleaning or talking to other guests. The #1 priority as a bartender is making sure every guest has a drink in their hand before cleaning/socializing. When I bartend and I see a guest looking at me with their credit card in hand, I acknowledge them immediately and take their order as soon as I can. A simple smile or “I’ll be with you” or “one moment, please” would have been nice. Then we sat down on what seemed to be 2 empty seats at the bar (no jackets or purses left). A bartender came up to us and said we can’t sit there because the other guests were just smoking outside. We didn’t want to cause issues so we moved to a standing table. Never heard of bartenders saving seats at the bar but ok. Then we went to order some shots. The only reason why we stayed there. If you are not a local or if you can’t speak German that well, I would not recommend this place. We ended up going to KonTiki and had a great time with the staff there. I can see Mata Hari being a good spot for locals. Just not for tourists.

Amazing place! Lots of fresh charcuterie from Germany, Italy and many cheese. You can choose a bread and slice, and other delicious things. English was hard but I was able to communicate using the sign language (there is a guy who speaks English, but I rather try german on my own). You just grab some bread of slices, 100 grams of whatever you like and one of the many spreads. Ane have fun!

what a terrible place!!!! First they served us not the sandwiches we ordered(explaining they dont have it now) without even letting us know. Asked for water two times, didnt recieve it. The food itslf was just a joke(simple sandwiches with two pieces of tomatoes). The highlight was the bill- the waiter asked us to go to the cashier and pay. When asked for the bill, they said there no bill and asked me to pay the amount(27.5euro). After i paid, i noticed they charged me for a wine we didn't order. Even after showing them the mistake, they smiled, gave me the money and that's it! Now sorry and no nothing!!! Terrible service, Terrible food!!! There are better places in the area with better service, food and cheaper even. Evoid in any cause!

Mid-size cafe offering a wide range of coffee, tea and other beverages. Nice cakes and bakes are available too. Cinnamon roll latte with cornflakes on top is interesting. Carrot cake has a nice texture but can be sweet if you don't really have a sweet tooth. Comfortable seats and nice lighting add to the cosy atmosphere. The provision of some nice seating outside for those who wish to smoke while having a cuppa is also a thoughtful addition. The cafe is near the town area and the imperial castle with a nice view is just close behind. 🏰

The place is definitely different from other cafés around the city with its atmosphere. The music can be a bit loud for those looking for a quieter space. The coffee was average but worth giving a try. I believe there’s a need for more coffee shops like this in Germany:)
