Proper old-school brasserie that ticks all the boxes. Great food, excellent service (a table of 23 (!) was seamlessly served whilst keeping the rest of us happy), lovely setting. Definitely worth a visit if you're visiting Rennes.

Unfortunately the food was quite a disappointment. I ordered the risotto au curry Breton and got some sort of porridge with random vegetables on top. The interior of the restaurant however was quite nice.

Visited on a Tuesday lunchtime to try the local speciality of buckwheat galettes. The service was quick and friendly enough, and the prices are not bad for a sit-down place. The lost star is because the outside of the bottle of fruit juice we ordered was quite dirty, which was a little off-putting. I also found my galette a little too salty, but that may just be personal taste.

The good google score of this bar is because of the chilled out atmosphere (good reggae) and the cool guys at the bar. But the meal really was a disappointment. Portions were too small and there was not enough sauce on the place, price was too high and the taste was nothing special. Very sorry for the cool guys owning the restaurant but I would recommend the food to nobody.

The food is great, we went for a Colombian typical food called Bandeja Paisa. It was a shame there were not many juices available. Also, since it was a hot day and there's not a lot of air circulation, it got quite warm inside the restaurant, so keep that in mind :)

Nice store having tasty sandwich and pastries. The server speaks good English and able to guide me through the menu on my first visit. She explained me about the meat (as i only wanted to have chicken not mixed with anything else) used in each and every sandwich.

Before the pandemic, I bought kouign amann late night for dessert. It was my very first time having it, and it was very nice. Also bought Marseille soap for souvenir to my family and they really appreciate it. The clerk's customer service was awesome though I speak little French. I was worried 'cause of the big number of population infected by covid, but watching posts by the customer visiting posted recently, hope you'll be safe.
