I went on Saturday for the music jam and brunch, and I'd definitely recommend! The music was great, and all of the staff speak English. It was super crowded, so I'd definitely recommend getting there early. I ordered a Veggie Breakfast, and it was much better than I thought it would be. I was really uncertain as to whether or not the vegetarian option would be good, and I was so pleasantly surprised. All of the burgers can be made veggie burgers as well- super awesome! They have a ton of beers, although I ordered a cappuccino which was decent. I'd definitely recommend it. Worth visiting on Saturday if you enjoy live music!

I enjoyed it a lot. A huge place where you can spend time with friends or do after-works. Great selection of beers! But also various cocktails, etc. The most pleasant if weather permits is to stay outside where are individual covered tables. On the terrace that is also covered but are many tables it is noisy, and inside is really noisy. What is a pity is that the place is huge, very crowded, and finding a parking on the street is very difficult. As to "service" ...while staff is young and friendly there is no service really as you have to go, do the queue, pay and get your drinks yourself. For the food you go, order, pay and get a buzzer, then you go and get your food, so you do the service 😉 Overall nice! Great concept of combining moto, shop, tattoo, bar and restaurant in one place. It is so popular so you have to get there early if you want to have a place, as reservations are not possible.

I’m always afraid to get ribs in France because I don’t want to be disappointed. But these ribs did not disappoint !! They fell right off the bone! I love the decor. We went on a Sunday night, so all the shops were close, but the restaurant and bar were still open. I highly recommend this place. It’s a nice place to hang out and grab a beer with friends.

We found this Irish pub(the husband likes his Guinness) and after a fabulous seafood dinner elsewhere, we enjoyed a Saturday evening observing the night life! Shoutout to the bartenders Rory and Alice!!! The following day was my husbands birthday and Sunday, which in Rennes means not very many places are open for dinner. We thought we would give the pub food a try, but their kitchen was not open on a Sunday. However, the lovely bartenders mentioned many places where we could pick something up and bring it in, which we did! The music was amazing, young and old playing trad music!

I moved to the Rennes area earlier this year and was excited to try this restaurant due to its popularity. I finally managed to book a dinner reservation, and while the atmosphere was pleasant, the food did not meet my expectations. The Piña Colada I ordered had an unusual texture, as the coconut milk appeared to have curdled. Among the tapas, the croquetas were decent, but the tender pollos lacked flavor and were quite dry. The salsa also did not resemble authentic versions I’ve experienced. For the main course, I ordered the quesadillas pollo, which arrived very oily and not as warm as expected. Overall, the food felt average and did not deliver the authentic flavors I was hoping for. This was a disappointing experience, and I’m not sure I’d return.

Food here is not special nor recommendable. With good weather, go here to enjoy the romantic garden and just get some drinks with simple snacks. Dinner here was very dissapointing. The semosa were soft and fat, like they were warmed up in the microwave. The burger we ordered was burnt. Similar with grilled squid; almost not edible. Fries were soft and fat. Need we say more? The waitress however was super friendly and helpfull.

Super slow service. The outdoor bar terrace was not as nice as the restaurant area. Pretty inconvenient to order and pay and then sit down. Good cocktail and wine selection as it was nice to see Mexican wine in the menu and mezcal. Tapas were ok, nothing exciting.

A beautiful discovery during our one day visit to Rennes. The owner (?) was kind enough to let us participate at the Sunday brunch although we arrived shortly before closing time. The tapas on offer looked super fresh and tasted just the same and there was a vast selection of "standard" breakfast choices as well (like scrambled eggs, muesli or viennoiserie). We found a spot to sit on the shady and very inviting garden terrace and felt very welcome. Would return anytime!

Tres bon! We had beef and chicken and it was so delicious :) as well as the crème brûlée after! There were musicians playing and it had a very chill and homey atmosphere with the proprietor/chef knowing many of the guests and visiting with folks. I had a frustrating experience when I visited this bar in July 2021. I selected the 5 euro German beer. It tasted very bad, a slight flavour of sulfur, and it clearly wasn't good quality. I told this to the waiter who brought it inside and then came out to tell me that "this is how it tastes". I have spent a lot of time in Germany and drunk many German beers, so I know this is untrue. I think the bar needs to improve its customer service approach. It's a pity as it ruined my experience of this bar.

A super nice place! Just had a simple hot chocolate and fries that were fairly cheap, only 3.50 euros for a good amount. My friends took later fries with a cheese sauce and let me tell you that was amazing! The cheese was so good, we ended up ordering so many batches! Unfortunately forgot to take a picture of those.

More relaxed and sophisticated ;) Beer price ranges from 4.5 to 8 euros for a pint. Very common for Rennes. We visited the club during first evening of the Made Festival. The interiors aren't anyhow special but the place was packed with people and amazingly alive. Music was fantastic and sounded amazing. The barmen were friendly and spoke English which hardly is a case anywhere in France ;-) The only drawback were messy and wet toilets, disgusting is not enough to say. But overall we had a great evening there.

Travelled over 4000 miles for a party here and wasn't allowed in. Couldn't find a ticket link on the RA event listing but apparently you could only get in with a ticket. I figured if I went early enough it wouldn't be an issue getting in but I was apparently wrong. The one security guard was incredibly rude and didn't like that I wasn't able to speak French but I was using to Google translate to try and figure out a solution but he wanted nothing to do with helping me out. After 20+ years of attending techno & house parties all around the world it was a shock to finally have been denied entry to somewhere. I also attempted to contact the club on Facebook to see if they had any answers but have yet to hear back from them so this seems to be the only way to let them know what a disappointing experience it is to attend that venue.

Great place! Found this guinguette and popped over on a Tuesday night. This is a communal food and drink area (a bit like a UK Pop-Up restaurant) with a lovely atmosphere and menu that seems to change regularly. So good we returned on the Sunday, and they had a crazy punk act on the outside stage! Give it a go! Andy x

I then picked the coquille St jacques and my niece had the entrecote both entrees were well plated and delicious. Service is quick and efficient ( perfect for an impatient New Yorker). We were full yet easily tempted by the Tarte au Citron re written which was amazing and well worth it. We ordered a last cocktail and did not feel rush to leave, enjoyed the music in the background and the happy crowd at the bar. Overall we had a great experience, the place is busy , and if you are more than 2 I would def recommend dinner reservation. I will def be back, should I come back to Rennes, and truly hope I get to experience their backyard which is being worked on and soon to be open according to the owner. A pleasant surprise !
