Seafood restaurant
Joe's Stone Crab is a bustling and cavernous restaurant in Miami that has been serving delicious seafood for over a century. The place is famous for its stone crabs, which have become a local delicacy and a must-try for seafood enthusiasts visiting the city. The New England clam chowder and Old Bay fries are also highly recommended. While some find the seasoning to be on the milder side, the attentive service from tuxedo-wearing waiters adds to the overall dining experience.
I saw on Reddit that this spot is a must-visit in Miami, so we decided to check it out. The fried chicken was a standout deal, four pieces for about $8, and it was crispy, fresh, and free of any off taste, even if it wasn’t heavily seasoned. The real star was the clam chowder, easily the best I’ve ever had. The hash browns were amazing, the Cobb salad was fresh and flavorful, and the key lime pie was delicious. The only letdown was the spinach, which was pretty mediocre. Overall, this place absolutely nails its food and delivers one memorable dish after another.

113 years and going as strong as ever. Two hour wait at 7:00pm, so MAKE reservations in advance! Super large bar perfect for a drink before. Bread service included and delicious. Star of the show of course is stone crabs. $134.99 for 3 jumbos and you would have thought they were free based on how many they serve each night. So good. And they still offer the half fried chicken now $8.95, was $7.95. Best and could come here just for this and house made fries. Shrimp cocktail only disappointment, medium sized and lousy presentation. Hash browns are divine as the chopped salad. And you can’t come to Joe’s without ordering key lime pie. Service excellent and wine list decent priced. Overall, one of the top grossing restaurants in the world and still one of the best.
Larry G — Google review
From start to finish, everything about this meal was outstanding. The stone crab was unbelievably fresh and perfectly chilled — sweet, tender, and full of flavor. The fried chicken was golden, crispy, and juicy inside — comfort food taken to the next level. The crab cakes were packed with lump crabmeat and just the right amount of seasoning, no fillers in sight! The sides deserve their own applause: the cream of spinach was rich and velvety, the lobster mac and cheese decadent and cheesy with generous chunks of lobster, and the oysters were fresh, briny, and beautifully presented. Every bite tasted like it came straight from the ocean. And let’s not forget the drinks — creative, balanced, and expertly crafted. Each cocktail complemented the meal perfectly and showed real attention to detail. From the attentive service to the incredible food, this place hits every mark. If you’re looking for a spot that combines top-notch seafood, comfort classics, and impeccable hospitality while in Miami this restaurant is a must-visit. There is a dress code, so call to verify before visiting.

I finally decided to try Joe’s Stone Crab, since it’s such a well-known and talked-about spot. I ordered through DoorDash, and while I understand delivery can sometimes affect food quality, I still expected a bit more consistency from such a popular restaurant. The stone crabs were a bit disappointing — they didn’t taste as fresh as I’d hoped and had a stronger crab smell than expected. Maybe the dine-in experience is better, but I do think takeout customers deserve the same quality. On a brighter note, the fried chicken had a great crust and texture, though it could’ve used more seasoning for flavor. The salad was beautifully presented and fresh, and the soups were solid. The mac & cheese was just okay — I suspect the lobster version might be the better choice next time. It needs to be alittle more creamier. Dessert was satisfying and helped end the meal on a positive note. My biggest issue was with customer service. I called ahead to request extra dressings, and the person on the phone assured me it would be taken care of. Unfortunately, none were included in my order. It’s frustrating when restaurants promise something and don’t follow through, especially when you’re already paying a premium for delivery. Overall, Joe’s Stone Crab is decent but not exceptional. There are definitely some good items on the menu, but between the inconsistency in food quality and the slip in customer service, it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. Their mustard sauce for the crabs is amazing though

We went on a weekend evening around 6 and got seated immediately. We ordered the seafood tower ($184) and a key lime margarita and some chips and a slice of the key lime pie. We really loved the margarita. The portion for the seafood tower was generous but it’s not worth the price. The service was good though.

Came here based on reputation and reviews alone, and fell in love with the food. The crab bisque and crab cakes were honestly the best we've ever had, even across many fine establishments across the world. The stone crabs did not disappoint either - they were firm, fresh and sweet. Finally, the key lime pie also lived up to its reputation, tart, not overly sweet, with a satisfyingly crumbly base. Loved the old school atmosphere with our wonderful and gentlemanly server. Would 💯 return on every visit to Miami!

Even before arriving in Miami, we knew we had to eat here. We arrived on a Sunday around 7:00 PM without a reservation. We waited over an hour and a half for a table, which they immediately warned us about. Let me just say: it was worth it! Everything was delicious. The Stone Crab Bisque deserves a special mention, as do the Stone Crab Claws themselves. The oysters and lobster tail were excellent. The hamburger was also delicious. The pre-dinner cocktails and wine with dinner were good, and the Key Lime Pie was delicious to end the feast. On top of all that, the service was top-notch, from the maître d'hôtel, to the bartenders, and our waiter. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Miami!

This place is a mecca in Miami...a 'must do...consistently fresh stone crabs that are superior to every other place in Miami. The other seafood like the Salmon is also phenomenal. Plus there Fried green tomatoes are some of the best l've ever had... and hands down the best fried chicken I’ve ever had!! I've been a fan of Joe's Stone Crabs for years, Joe's Take-Away - their wonderful cafe it's perfect if you don't want to wait for the main restaurant... The take away is large with beautiful glass displays Where you can pick many of joe's specialties - especially their perfect stone crab claws, at a terrific price. You can buy wine & champagne by the bottle at retail, then sit at varnished wood tables and enjoy high end seafood - especially the stone crabs at a more affordable, relaxed price and atmosphere. It provides a chance for a quick high quality meal, complete with people to clear the tables. This is where you need to go to get stone crabs in Miami! 100% recommend!

Italian restaurant
Modern European restaurant
Pasta shop
Macchialina is a charming trattoria located in Miami Beach, offering a stylish and rustic setting to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine. The restaurant has expanded its seating options during the pandemic, now including a covered patio and a small wine shop for takeout bottles. Known for its homemade pasta, hearty mains like veal Milanese, and an extensive all-Italian wine list curated by Italian-born beverage director Jacqueline Pirolo, Macchialina has become a beloved gem for locals.
Amazing experience at Macchialina. We had done some research looking for the best restaurants on South Beach and this restaurant kept coming up. We were so glad we decided to visit. We were expecting the meal to be good based on reviews, but our dinner absolutely exceeded our expectations. We had professional, attentive, warm, friendly service by the staff from star to finish. They were knowledgeable regarding the menu and gave great recommendations. I believe our server was Neil and he was training another gentlemen (can't recall his name) and both were wonderful. Our meal felt/tasted both high-end and yet reminiscent of homemade Italian meals I had growing up. I was not expecting to be transported down memory lane when we arrived, but it truly was a lovely, surprisingly nostalgic meal. Every dish we ordered was delicious. Every cocktail we ordered was also delicious. We will absolutely be adding Macchialina to our normal rotation when we are visiting South Beach.

The food here was exceptionally good—bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The mushroom pasta was absolutely divine. The restaurant offers an extensive and thoughtfully curated wine list, featuring an impressive selection of skin-contact wines. Each glass was vibrant, complex, and wonderfully expressive, making for a perfect pairing with the pasta. The atmosphere is lively, buzzing with energy, yet still relaxed and welcoming. The spacious outdoor terrace is elegantly designed and ideal for enjoying a leisurely meal. A truly beautiful spot with incredible food and wine—highly recommended!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our evening at Macchialina in South Beach was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we settled in at the bar, we were captivated by the vibrant yet effortlessly refined atmosphere. The food was simply exquisite—each dish a testament to thoughtful preparation and authentic Italian flavor. Every bite reflected the kitchen’s dedication to quality and craft. What truly elevated our experience was the impeccable service. Maria, our bartender, was warm, gracious, and exceptionally knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm. Jackie, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our evening was perfect. Her attentiveness and gracious spirit made us feel thoroughly cared for. It is rare to find a place where ambiance, cuisine, and hospitality harmonize so beautifully. We will most certainly return to Macchialina and recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience in Miami Beach. Five stars all around.
Josh M — Google review
We had such a wonderful meal and experience for our anniversary dinner! Our server Matt was so helpful and knowledgeable about all of the plates we were served and he very wisely recommended the chef’s tasting menu and a scrumptious bottle of white wine! Everything was so well done with perfectly balanced flavors that left you wanting more, it was almost impossible to pick our favorite dishes but I highly enjoyed and recommend the mezzaluna pasta, the polenta, panino, and the tiramisu!! Will certainly be back and already raving about it to our friends and family before we’re even out the door!!
Paula P — Google review
First restaurant out of a dozen we’ve visited in Miami that offered complimentary snacks/appetizers, which was a really nice touch. Our waiter was polite and attentive, and the atmosphere was both lively and relaxed
Antonella — Google review
I recently visited from NYC and had the pleasure of trying their tasting menu. They were incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, and I couldn’t stop indulging! The portions were just right, and the service and atmosphere were top-notch. You absolutely must try the Tiramisu! I would highly recommend coming back here again.
Hesham E — Google review
Recently visited here for dinner while on vacation and it was delicious! I will say the music is loud inside, but we love that vibe but if loud music during dinner is not your thing, just letting you know in advance. The food was amazing and our waiter was great, and made an excellent wine selection for us. My favorite thing on the menu, funny enough was the bread that came with our charcuterie board. The bread was a cross between a roll and a sweet dough, I could have had ten of them.
Elisha M — Google review
Fantástico environment, service and feeling of the place. Regarding the food, the taste, creativity and selection of food and wine have been excellent. It’s not cheap but you feel is worth it. Very good Quality-Price

Southern restaurant (US)
Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Miami Beach, Yardbird Southern Table & Bar is a delightful homage to classic Southern cuisine. This stylish eatery on Lenox Avenue captures the essence of Southern hospitality with its inventive menu that features farm-fresh ingredients and indulgent comfort food. Guests can savor a range of dishes from breakfast through dinner, including favorites like fried chicken and truffle spinach-mushroom quiche, all while enjoying a selection of bourbon cocktails.
If you're heading to Yardbird in Miami, I highly recommend checking out their happy hour at the bar. It’s a great vibe, the service is friendly, and the drinks are half off, which is a solid deal considering the quality. As for the food, it’s definitely a standout. I suggest trying the Chef's Tasting it's a great way to sample a bit of everything. Another must-try is the chili wrapped in bacon bold flavors, just the right kick, and really well-prepared.
Claudia J — Google review
This eatery is beautiful and clean! The freshest food with great service 😋 organic chicken makes all the dishes with chicken added extra juicy and flavorful! If you're in Miami Beach please stop by and see Rhonda and Bo! They are kind, knowledgeable and sweet! Also don't forget the cocktails.....they were delicious 😋 thank you all for a memorable experience 💖
P J — Google review
Yardbird absolutely lives up to its reputation for amazing Southern-style comfort food. Everything tasted homemade and full of love, with portions that really satisfy. I’ve had the Lobster Mac & Cheese three times now — easily my favorite Mac & Cheese ever. We also tried the Jalapeño Poppers and Deviled Eggs; both were great, even though the eggs weren’t exactly my thing. Service was 10/10, and the cocktails were fantastic — I tried both the Yardbird Old Fashioned and the classic one, and the classic ended up being one of my favorite drinks of the whole trip. Highly recommend!
Food E — Google review
We’ve been to Yardbird several times, and it’s always amazing! The Fried Chicken, Lobster Mac & Cheese, and Rotisserie Chicken are all must-tries. The staff are friendly and offer great recommendations — like the Bacon Infused Bourbon, which is smoky and unique. Always a highlight of our Miami trips — we’ll definitely be back!
Leonie T — Google review
Third time’s the charm — and Yardbird just set the bar even higher! From the moment we walked in, everything was perfection. The food? Chef’s kiss every single bite. The cocktails? Crafted so well we almost ordered them as dessert. The atmosphere? Warm, lively, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to stay for “just one more.” And the service… Angel and Kunika are the real MVPs! Attentive, welcoming, and truly top-tier — they made our visit feel like a VIP dining experience. Yardbird, you’ve officially become a repeat-repeat-repeat favorite. We’ll be back again (and again, and again)! Perfect start to our MIAMI VACATION.

Hands down the absolute best place to eat in Miami!!!! We had the lovely Kunika S as our server and amazing is an understatement!! Kunika was so attentive and kind, made sure we had everything we needed! The food, chefs kiss !! The best fried chicken we’ve ever had and we are from the south. If you don’t stop by here while in Miami, you are missing out !

Where is the cream!? - Disappointed We have been here before and this time was very disappointing. The Restaurant was very dark. Not many tables full and Service was very slow. Took forever to take our order. Once the food arrived it was disappointing. The Creamy Jambalaya pasta had NO cream. It was hard to swallow. We had to ask for the manager and the chef came out who also was the on duty manager. He arrived to the table and said what's the issue? We explained the pasta was missing the cream. (See photo) He seemed confused but agreed to make another one. Then the server brought out a side of cream. My fried chicken had no sides listed on the menu so I ordered mash potatoes as a side. To my surprise when the chicken arrived it had mash and a salad. Was a waste of money for the side. The chicken and waffles arrived with no syrup. We had to wait for the server to bring it while the food was getting cold. Won't be back which is disappointing as previously loved this place.

ahhh yardbird yardbird yardbird!! my favorite restaurant!!! I got more but must’ve only taken two photos. Started with the pork belly, corn bread, texas twinkie, and biscuits…everything was good, the cornbread was okay ( i was actually shocked ) it still has that dry cornbread aftertaste. For drinks i got the yard bird old fashion and the top old fashion i forgot the name, both were good and pricey as expected. Entree: the waygu burger (this was good) bun buttery and soft fries great, Dessert: Key lime pie: this was okay. My waitress i’m mad i forgot her name was great!!!! this was the one in Miami

Sandwich shop
Fast food restaurant
La Sandwicherie Miami Beach is a vibrant spot known for its French-style sandwiches, croissants, and fresh juices. Since 1988, this Miami institution has been serving up gourmet sandwiches on crisp baguettes and flaky croissants stuffed with a variety of fresh ingredients. The original location in Miami Beach remains popular among clubbers, drinkers, and locals who appreciate the well-crafted sandwiches.
Amazing food at an affordable price! Their sandwiches are large and easily shareable. They have a signature vinaigrette that is delicious on any sandwich! I also recommend getting your sandwich on one of their croissants. They are fresh, huge, and delicious. Be aware that seating is limited and outdoor bar-style. Most people get their food to go.

All around a delicious, chill, friendly experience. Every piece that goes into your meal is FRESH and it shows. A minimalist sandwich with undeniable flavor. The price for what you get is 10/10. The atmosphere is welcoming which has a huge impact on your experience in this special window seat sandwich shop. One of my favorite places to go in Miami. Sorry, but I COULD NOT WAIT to dive into this sandwich, so please enjoy the photo of my half eaten piece of heaven on earth 🤌🏽🤌🏽
Jacqual J — Google review
Without a doubt, La Sandwicherie has the best sandwiches in Miami. But what truly sets this place apart is not only the flavor, but also the outstanding service from Pablo — kind, attentive, and always welcoming. My wife was absolutely thrilled with the new gluten-free bread option. She said it’s literally the best gluten-free bread she has ever tried. Meanwhile, I enjoyed the Italian on baguette, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. If you’re looking for authentic taste, great atmosphere, and top-notch service, this is the place. Thank you, Pablo, for making our visit unforgettable!
Frida L — Google review
Whether you need a sandwich while walking around or to bring to the beach, La Sandwicherie is a great place for a quick snack. Be aware that there is very little meat in these sandwiches, however they are tasty and the ingredients are fresh. There aren't many options for an affordable sandwich in Miami Beach so definitely try this place.
Matthew L — Google review
I’m a sandwich expert, so I pay a lot of attention to them – even more than to steaks or other dishes. I brought my parents on vacation and took them to try these sandwiches that were highly recommended to me – and they were absolutely perfect! 🥪 The sandwiches are big, incredibly tasty, and very reasonably priced. As an introvert, I really appreciated that I could order everything without having to talk to anyone. I honestly want to come back to Miami just for these sandwiches. Highly recommend!
Ramune — Google review
I was traveling for three days and ended up eating their sandwiches almost every day. The French baguette is wonderfully fragrant—crispy on the outside with a pleasant chew, yet soft inside with a rich wheat aroma. The fillings are loaded with fresh vegetables, and when paired with their French vinaigrette sauce, the freshness is taken to the next level. If you’re looking for a simple yet delicious lunch, this place is a must-visit.
STEPHY L — Google review
Delicious sandwiches and many options. All very affordable!! Only outdoor bar seating and it was all filled up so we had to take the sandwiches to go, but the staff was very communicative and fast. Would highly recommend ❤️
Sierra — Google review
Awesome little open air sandwich shop with tons of topping options to choose from. It's a popular spot so I'd suggest ordering ahead online for pickup. Sandwich was amazing as was the coffee smoothie. It was also one of the better priced menus in the area. Definitely add to your do not miss list for South Beach.

La Camaronera Seafood Joint and Fish Market is a beloved seafood spot founded by a family of Cuban fishermen. The atmosphere is bustling, with diners packed at the tables and a counter for ordering. The menu features deep-fried specialties like fried calamari, shrimp empanadas, and the popular pan con minuta. Visitors can expect delicious New England clam chowder, hot and crispy Old Bay fries, and a crab sampler that's perfect for sharing.
This restaurant is recognized as one of America’s best by The New York Times, so I had to give it a try. While the location isn’t particularly sexy and the restaurant itself has a very casual look, these elements add to the authenticity of the overall vibe. We started with the ceviche appetizer. The fish was incredibly fresh and melted in the mouth, but unfortunately, the marinade was under-seasoned and tasted a bit bland. A missed opportunity there. For the main course, we ordered Larry’s favorite whole spiny lobster, which was massive. It had the crispiest yet most tender lobster meat I’ve ever had—truly impressive. For dessert, we shared a flan, though I wasn’t particularly impressed with it. Overall, it’s a good seafood spot. Service is good and friendly. The menu is reasonably priced, but if you order anything listed as “MP” (market price) under Mongo’s Fish Market, be prepared for a way higher cost. That said, it’s definitely worth it if shared. I also appreciate supporting small family businesses, which makes dining here even more worthwhile.

Honest review! Parking was a bit of a hassle because its in a small area next to a supermarket. Customer service upon arriving was okay. We went around 1230pm So it was not packed, plenty of open tables we got seated right way. There was two waiters taking orders and at one point they forgot about my table party of two so we waited about 15 for drinks and to place and order. Placing order was simple, food came out after I will say less than 20 mins. We only ordered two things. A fish broth and their loaded minuta sandwich combo, which I choose tostones for a side. They do have a special going on if you buy a sandwich combo you get a free soda. Food review: Soup was tasteless! If you are suffering from high blood pressure and are in a low salt diet then this soup is perfect for you. Keep in mind it's an orange-looking broth with nothing in it but small pieces of doodle pasta.. Like the abc noodles but these are really small. The loaded Minuta fish sandwich Came with a friend lightly battered tail on fillet of fish on a not toasted Cuban bun loaded with tomatoes raw onions and lettuce topped with their house version of tartar sauce! NO FLAVOR!!! I repeat if you suffer from high blood pressure or on a no salt no seasoning diet this place is for you! I could not eat it due to lack of flavor. I honestly went to the bathroom and threw up. The only thing that was good on the plate was th friend Hawaiian plantains that again I had to add salt. I only came to this place because of Mark Weins and Davidsbeenhere But I don't know if they got paid or their food was free because honey that food was tasteless! I can say the fish was fresh it didn't smell so that's the only thing they got right. This is my honest review and sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Was looking for a place to eat on the way to Miami airport on a Sunday evening. Saw this place on the way accidentally. Seafood specials, thought would give it a try. They were in the process of closing but still accommodated us graciously as their last customers of the day. The food was delicious. One of the best seafoods we had. Everything felt fresh. Would love to return here if we are in the area!

We were on vacation in Miami. I make it a point to visit restaurants to see if they live up to the hype. This place exceeded the hype. I got the fish sandwich. It was fried perfectly moist and tender melt in your mouth fresh fish. We also got the rice with chunks of fish in it. That was phenomenal recommend that every time you go!! We had a 20 minute wait, but it was worth it. The food was excellent. The service was good! Our waiter was very informative. The owner came around to make sure everything was good. The place was packed! I will definitely be returning. 100% recommend

We were a group of 9 Indians who were visiting Miami as part of our 5 day tour and happened to stop by on this restaurant by chance on the way back to the airport. Diana was very kind and helped us with the menu and made us feel very comfortable. A big thanks to Diana. The food was the best and we tried Calamari fried rings and fish fillet and a few other starters. We also tried the lobster sandwich for main and the sweet plantain fry. Everything was superb and everyone in our group enjoyed the food and service. In future if I ever visit Miami again, this place will be on top of the list. Highly recommended!!!

Wow! I might have never found this gem without a friends recommendation. So good you shouldn't miss this place. Try the fried shrimp and fried lobster

The food we ordered was fresh and delicious! We ordered the Eladia’s black eyed pea fritters, the la camaronera fried shrimp appetizer, conch fritters, two yellow tail fried snapper combos with black beans, white rice and fries. Everything was exquisite! We’ve visited back in 2012 or before, since we saw it on Guy Fiery’s Diners, Drive-in’s, Dives. We came back for the black eyed pea fritters, wanted to remember how they tasted. I would say they were Great, but my party was also blown away with their specialties as in the seafood. The fried shrimp and conch fritters were fresh and juicy. The fish was fresh, juicy, fall off the bone, cut ready to eat. The fries are thin and crispy. We went on a Sunday almost at 12pm there was about 5 people there, then it started to fill up with people little by little. Just to give an idea, so you can plan your visit. We paid cash, didn’t realize if it’s cash only or not. I was annoyed that they put we were 6 people to get an 18% tip, when we weren’t. Almost excellent service from staff, therefore okay.

Very clean environment, friendly staff, quick service and food was very fresh! We tried the loaded corvina sandwich which came with two sides of you choice it was crispy, well seasoned on Cuban style bun. Was the star of the meal. We also had the fried shrimp which was their specialty it was good, but a coworker recommend we try it grilled next time. Really enjoyed our visit!

El Rey De Las Fritas is a classic, no-frills eatery that has gained fame for its Cuban hamburgers topped with shoestring potatoes, known as fritas. These spicy Latin twist burgers are made from a delicate blend of beef and chorizo and are considered a staple in Cuban restaurants and lunch counters throughout Miami.
This place was recommended to me by my brother via Anthony Bourdain and they were both spot on! It's a quirky looking place in a strip mall and there was construction out front but once we were in we were hooked! The waitress was very sweet and helpful. Her limited English and our limited Spanish was not a problem at all. When you're talking food, it's an international language! We ordered two Frita Originals. She recommended we get the Frita Super with egg so if course we said yes! She had both sandwiches cut in half so my husband and I could try both of them easily. They were both fantastic! He LOVED the sweetness the plantains added to the supreme and I loved the simplicity of the original. The spices added to the patty for this amazing sandwich was out of this worl delicious. We also order corn fritters that were amazing and fries that were good as well. If you're in the Miami area you must try El Rey De Las Fritas. .. my mouth is watering thinking about now!

I’m so glad I stopped by El Rey de las Fritas! I didn’t catch the names of the staff, but everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, it really made the experience even better. The food was priced very reasonably, and everything I tried was absolutely delicious. You can tell there’s a lot of love and flavor in what they make. Definitely worth the visit!

Second time coming here and the food is just as good. The fritas with fried cheese and plantain is so good. The burger is flavored like no other I have had.

Incredibly authentic little Cuban cafe where my server didn’t speak English, which i loved! I felt like i was in another country and made myself right at home. I had the frita especial con queso and it was delicious. The bread, the meat, the crispy fried potatoes, everything was 👌 I went back later and got coconut flan to go and the coco was very sweet but delicious. I would get the regular flan next time. I’m thinking about going back tomorrow.

Good natural shakes, not too sweet. Sandwich is cool and I'm not trying to change the game but I'm not a fan of crispy chips (would prefer french fries lol). Meat was nice, little spicy. Bun could've been better. I like the ambience

I always love visiting this lovely Cuban restaurant when I pass through Little Havana. From what I know, this restaurant has been in business for many years, but it still looks nice inside - clean, and all the furniture is in very good condition. The overall vibe of the restaurant is really cool, and it makes me want to stay and enjoy the atmosphere. The staff is extremely sweet and friendly. I should mention that most of the workers don’t speak English, except for one guy who’s always there during the day. He’s very helpful and always assists me with translation and communication with his colleagues. There are regular tables for seating, as well as plenty of bar seats. I personally prefer to sit at the bar because service is faster, and I get their attention right away if I need anything. The menu has a wide selection of Cuban food, but this place is especially famous for its La Original Frita Cubana, which is basically a Cuban-style sandwich with extra toppings. There are several variations of this sandwich on the menu, and they’re happy to customize it if you want to add or remove anything. I personally love the Frita a Caballo, which includes a fried egg; plus, I always ask to add Swiss cheese inside. The result is super delicious, and I truly enjoy this sandwich! I’ve also ordered the Chicken Soup, Ham Croquettes, and Yuca Fries, and all of them were tasty. By the way, the ham croquettes come out very quickly because they’re pre-prepared and just heated up. My only small issue was with the chicken soup - it had a lot of dark chicken meat, and I personally prefer only white meat. But otherwise, I really have nothing negative to say about the meals I’ve tried at this restaurant. Also, I have to mention the amazing, very tasty juices they serve. My absolute favorite is the watermelon juice - it’s super flavorful and tastes just like fresh watermelon from Costa Rica. Take my advice - always order their juices with your meal! You won’t regret it. The menu prices are very reasonable. You can easily get two appetizers for around $10 total, or one big main dish for under $10 as well. My bills were usually between $15-20, which is a great value for Miami. This restaurant accepts all major credit cards and Apple Pay, which is a big plus. Another advantage is the free parking, as the restaurant is located inside a long strip mall with plenty of available parking spots. I absolutely recommend visiting this Cuban place if you’re looking for delicious, authentic Cuban food in Miami. And don’t forget to try their La Original Frita Cubana sandwich and a fresh juice!

Restaurant
Boia De is a charming Italian-inspired restaurant located in the Buena Vista neighborhood. The chef-couple, with experience from The NoMad in New York City, opened this gem in 2019 and quickly gained recognition with a James Beard Award nomination. The laid-back atmosphere and modern Italian menu are complemented by an impressive selection of New and Old World wines, including well-priced Chilean options.
Amazing meal and restaurant. I had heard many great things about this restaurant, so I waited at my computer and refreshed the reservation page over and over at noon to be able to get a reservation for my boyfriend's birthday. He wanted to go to a place with excellent wine and excellent food, and he said Boia De checked both those boxes amazingly. The waitress suggested we order 2-3 dishes per person and we went with 5 dishes (see pictures). My favorites were the chopped salad (do not skip this one!)and the steak tartar. Probably could eat both of those entirely on my own and be satisfied. All dishes were perfectly seasoned and had such a complexity of flavors. My boyfriend says the wine he picked was his favorite part. They have an extensive wine list, so if you love wine, you will definitely find something good to pair with their incredible food. Would love to return😁.

The service and atmosphere was excellent. Love the ambiance and perfectly lit dining experience befitting a romantic evening. The food was top notch and truly worth every bite. Taking one on a delicious journey of Italian flavors. I believe the manager there noticed I stained my shirt eating the papparadelle 😅 and was kind enough to get me a tide pen cleaner without I even asking. Truly an attention to detail and love for the customer that was chef’s kiss. Amazing place and people here. Highly recommend for anyone to dine in and enjoy amazing food and service

The restaurant is a cozy little hidden gem. We went there to celebrate my wife’s birthday and sat at the counter, right in front of the chef — such a cool experience! Service was spot-on, and the dishes they recommended were absolutely perfect for sharing. Everything was delicious, but the baked clams really blew us away. Great wine list too, with solid value for the quality. Overall, an awesome night out — no surprise they’ve got a Michelin star. Can’t wait to go back!

A Unique and Memorable Meal at Boia De Boia De is an experience, but it's one that might not be for everybody. It has its own distinct, charming style that sets it apart from other restaurants in Miami. The first thing you'll notice is the intimate setting. The tables are very close to each other, so much so that you basically have dinner with the table next to you. It's a unique atmosphere that you have to be prepared for. The food, however, is truly extraordinary. Every dish we tried was inventive and delicious. The only caveat is that the portions are on the smaller side, so you may want to order several plates to share. We were there on Thursday, October 9th, to celebrate a friend's birthday. Our reservation was for 9:15 pm, and we found the service to be a bit slow at that time, which was a little disappointing for a special occasion. For me, Boia De is a place you should try at least once for its fantastic food and one-of-a-kind ambiance. While I enjoyed the meal, I think one visit was enough to get the full experience.

I’ve been wanting to try here for so long, the location is a bit out of the way but I must say it’s worth it! The crispy polenta was a pleasant surprise! I was not expecting it to burst with so much flavor! The beef tartar is definitely one of the tops I’ve had! So flavorful and tasty, we devoured every bite! The grilled artichokes also were bursting with flavor! An unexpected pleasant surprise! Lastly, the corn fagottini was out of this world!! What a meal this was on a weekend night, they managed to squeeze us in at the bar. I would prefer a little more space personally but everything was phenomenal here!

This is a VERY small restaurant so you will have an extremely difficult time if not impossible time getting a reservation for more than 2. This is the BEST restaurant in Miami. The food is delicious and the service is phenomenal. Blake was an excellent server this past trip and the food was, as always, second to none. Order and share 4 to 5 small plates and leave with your mind blown. There is not one thing bad on the menu and each time I recommend you try something new to get the full experience.

The hospitality is unmatched and it is clear that the whole team understands its about so much more than the food but the entire experience. The host, the servers, the bartender, and the cooks were all incredibly kind, attentive, and committed. The food, as expected by their reputation, was phenomenal. Well earned Michelin star. Each bite puts you in a world of exploding flavor. Carefully crafted, plated, and presented. Perfect date night and opportunity to share plates and experience many flavors during your meal. Thanks to Resy Global dining Access by Amex for introducing me to this gem of a restaurant. We will most definitely be back. Reservations were made a month in advance.

Food was incredible. Service could be better. We had the steak tartar (superb!), the polenta fries were also amazing. The pappardelle was out of this world. We got there, with very hard and annoying to make reservations for which I repeatedly got reminders for... The host made us feel like if we didn't belong there and told us "your table might be ready whenever". The server was "disapointed at us because we ordered only 3 dishes". Although food was delicious, I doubt we'll make the trip to the laundry mat again. Good to get the experience though.

Publix Super Market at Mary Brickell Village is a well-stocked supermarket with a diverse range of groceries, including a deli and bakery. Situated in the vibrant Mary Brickell Center, it offers convenient access to residents of upscale towers like Brickell Heights and SLS Lux. The store features weekly deals and boasts a smooth self-checkout system. Additionally, it caters to the local Brazilian community by offering a selection of Brazilian products.
Great prices on Flowers. Such a nice way to treat yourself to a little pick me up during the week. I grab a few and mix them together to create my own arrangement for events on a budget!

Publix a long with the State of Florida and the US GOVT does not allow dogs in the store. There was no sign where I entered but on the main door there was one that you couldn’t see when door was opened. Then in the corner there was a box sign. Why I am being specific because I ASKED where the signs were since I didn’t see them. Plus I was told they were at every door. Well they aren’t. I LOVE DOGS BUT THEY DO NOT BELONG IN A GROCERY STORE UNLESS THE DOG IS A SERVICE DOG. STORE 1070 I was treated rather abruptly. Look IT IS THE LAW AND A POLICY OF PUBLIX. At better managed Publix the managers have small notices that they give the dog owner. I guess I am more puzzled why I was the villain. Look Covid is still here. I would think owners would be more worried about their pets. The store here is bedlam.
Brett M — Google review
This place is smaller but a lot busier than the Publix on 13th St. It has a lot of sections from seafood which carries ready made sushi to bakery and deli section. It's conveniently located across from Brickell train station. So it can be crowded and the checkout lines can be long. The shopping experience can be better if they have more checkout lines and clear sign for self checkout. It can be a chaos sometimes and people jump from line to line.

It’s pretty decent and the lunch and sandwich options are great and good value as well. It get very crowded though and the service is usually not fast enough to cope with that. So have some time on hand if you’re getting lunch here.

Bagel shop
El Bagel, a MiMo food-truck-turned-bagel-shop, has become a must-visit spot in Miami. The shop often sells out quickly, so placing an online order early is recommended. Customers rave about the King Guava and EB Original bagels, both offering unique and delicious flavor combinations. Owner Matteson Koche started by delivering hand-rolled bagels before opening the full-on bageleria to meet demand in MiMo.
This place is no joke. Warm welcome and easy check out. Every bagel came out cut in half perfectly and wrapped how they should be. First bite? WOW! Crunchy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. Bacon, egg and cheese on everything had the runny egg perfected and all taste buds exploded. LOX was also wow. This is the place and will be my go-to in Miami. Unreal.
Artem M — Google review
El Bagel used to be my favorite spot. I always got the sesame bagel with cream cheese, and they used to load it up perfectly. Lately though, it’s been super skimpy. Just a light smear now, and it honestly feels like less than half the amount it used to be. What happened? Still love the bagels, but it’s not hitting the same when I have to hunt for the cream cheese.
Catherine H — Google review
All the staff are super sweet and made up of young people. Although Miami is generally weak when it comes to bagels, this place has the most creative ones in town. That’s why there’s usually a long wait on weekends. I find their eggs a bit undercooked, but if they added an “over hard” option when ordering, they could also appeal to people like me who prefer a classic fried egg texture. This time I tried the one with pastrami — the flavor didn’t really linger on the palate, but as I said, given Miami’s rather weak bagel scene, this place still gets the job done.
Ryan B — Google review
Elite bagels, super friendly and attentive staff. I was recommended the Pastrami bagel by a friend who is a regular here and it certainly did not disappoint. Touring from Australia, I was made to feel right at home straight away. Highly recommend a stop here if you’re in the area!!

I was really looking forward to trying this place because I love bagels, especially with smoked Salmon , which was the main ingredient I wanted. I just left the store and ask to replace the salmon from my bagel- the ticket says clearly sub vegan cheese. What do I get when I get home ? Salmon in my bagel . Why would I order vegan cheese if I’m not vegan….I’m a lifetime vegetarian. This was a terrible experience. Wasted my money not coming back And guess what I tried to call instead of leaving this bad review, but they don’t answer. Get it together

Restaurant
Versailles Restaurant Cuban Cuisine is an iconic establishment in Little Havana, Miami, known for its traditional Cuban fare and vintage dining room adorned with chandeliers. It has been a centerpiece of the area for over 50 years and is often referred to as 'The World's Most Famous Cuban Restaurant.' The restaurant offers classic dishes such as Cubanos, Ropa Vieja, cafecitos, cortaditos, and Cuban pastries.
You will leave happier than when you arrived. Founder Felipe Valls Sr. long standing goal achieved! The restaurant and location are genius, restaurant, walk up “La Ventanita”, bakery and outdoor, casual seating make one imagine the storied 50+ year history. We went for lunch on a Monday. The large restaurant was packed with mostly locals. The Mojito with a piece of sugar cane was one of the best my partner has ever had. The food was very good. Ceviche, a Sampler Plate with Empañadas, Croquettes and Fried Yucca started us off. Mains were the Specialty Cuban Sandwich, and a Mixed Plate of Roasted Pork, Black Beans, Rice, Boiled Yucca and Plantains. We ended with Coconut Flan and Cuban Creme Caramel. And of course a Cafe Cubano. A feast that exceeded our expectations. Finally, prices are incredibly reasonable driving great value. Lives up to its’ motto “The World’s Most Famous Cuban Restaurant”. If you have never been, add this to your must visit list including a Mojito as well. We will next go on a busy evening as I imagine that this is a very lively place once the sun sets.

My father and I had a wonderful Victory dinner the day after the Louisville Cardinals mopped up the Miami Hurricanes! Everything about the dining experience was wonderful from the wait time to the food! The food is perfectly priced! The portions aren't huge, but they're not small either. You may not have leftovers but you will be full. The cafe con Leche was heavenly! The bread pudding was delicious but not after refrigerated. From now on if I'm ever in Miami it is a must to dine here!

We visited Versailles Restaurant after reading so many amazing reviews over 26,000 people have rated this place! As tourists, we decided we couldn’t miss it, even though we had to take an Uber for almost half an hour from our hotel. It was totally worth it! Even though the restaurant was very busy, everything was well-organized and smooth. The place was super clean, the staff were polite and professional, and the food was absolutely delicious the rice was fragrant and tasty, and the meat was tender and full of flavor. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the great quality and generous portions. After our meal, we decided to order dessert and coffee, and the staff kindly guided us to their own bakery, which is located right on the same property. The desserts there were fantastic fresh, flavorful, and high quality, and the coffee was rich and smooth. The dessert we ordered was one of their most famous ones, and it’s meant to be enjoyed with their strong Cuban coffee. Since I ordered black tea instead, it felt a bit too sweet for me but that’s just a pairing thing! We also ordered a few items to go, and even though we ate them later when they were cold, they were still very tasty and kept their quality, so we wouldn’t deduct any points for that. The only thing I didn’t really like was that the area for adding the tip was already highlighted with a pen, as if to remind customers not to forget it. I think that’s unnecessary because most people already leave a tip unless they’re unhappy with the service, which definitely wasn’t the case here. Overall, this restaurant truly deserves 5 out of 5 stars. Everything from the food to the service and desserts was excellent. We really enjoyed our experience, and we’ll definitely come back here next time we visit Miami.

Came from Orlando for my bday dinner. Customer service excellent, our server was friendly and fast. I thought since it was a Sunday in miami there would be a long wait but we got seated as soon as walked in and the food came out within 20 mins. The food is nothing out of this world BUT it was delicious and seasoned well and felt like home cooked meal from a Cuban abuela. I would definitely eat here again the next time i’m in Miami.

Stopped by Versailles Restaurant for a pastelito de guayaba y queso and a café con leche because apparently I’m doing a full Miami pastry tour now. First off, the pastelitos here are the real deal. Softer, flakier, and the cheese tastes like it actually has a passport. 😂 The guava was fresh, the texture was perfect, and it didn’t feel like it had been sitting around waiting for its big break. And the best part? The price was better than at Karla’s. Always a win in Miami where your coffee can cost as much as your car insurance. Now, the café con leche… whew. That thing was STRONG. Like, “I can see sounds now” strong. 💪☕️ I get why people love it. It’s bold and full of flavor. But personally, I prefer the smoother coffee at Karla’s. My heart rate definitely disagreed, though. Still, Versailles never disappoints. Iconic spot, top-tier pastelitos, and coffee that’ll keep you awake through the next hurricane season.

Good experience, solid food, friendly service, dated but charming interior. We enjoyed our visit. It’s nothing to write home about, but it was interesting visiting what they claim is the world’s most famous Cuban restaurant. Ox Thai was excellent, but Paella Versailles was not good though in my view, perhaps, other paellas are better.

Great Experience with a friendly staff and very tasty food. ASSORTED SEAFOOD “ZARZUELA DE MARISCOS” Was excellent, full of flavor with less salt and great textures! Worth the price and more.

Yuck. Food was cold, nothing good about it. I had some shredded beef type stew. Husband got the lamb. It all came out COLD! The waiter was busy so we ate, paid and left. When we got up a table next to us asked how we liked it. I said we didn’t. She said it’s a hit or miss at this place. I feel if you like mediocre food you may rate this as a 4 or 5. But anyone who knows good food will not be impressed.

Steak house
Prime 112 is a sophisticated and contemporary restaurant located in the historic Browns Hotel. It offers a diverse menu featuring Italian seafood and grilled meat dishes. The chef-driven boutique steakhouse, owned by Myles Chefetz, provides classic cuisine in an elegant setting with dark leather booths and low lighting for a polished ambiance. In addition to traditional steakhouse fare like prime steak tartare, the restaurant also offers inventive options such as truffled lobster mac and cheese.
Our food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the stuffed South African lobster tail, cream, corn, and maple brussels sprouts with bacon, 10 out of 10 for sure. My niece got the New York strip, it was an 8/10, but I’m more of a good dry-aged ribeye type, which could be why it was an 8. Drinks were a 5/10. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Their dress code is pretty loose. We came here after waiting for two hours at Sunny’s, and I’m glad we did. I called 30-45 Minutes ahead of time, and When we arrived, we were seated instantly. When it comes down to a smooth operation, it seems like they definitely have it together, it’s literally no waiting for anything. It’s like they’re waiting for you to finish so they can come get it out of your way. They kept refreshing our bread and butter, and I thought that was Very unique and thoughtful. The only thing that I would say that they should work on is personal space, I would prefer if someone says excuse me before reaching over me or bumping into me and acting like it didn't happen or saying sorry. Also, there were quite a few celebrities dining, which we didn’t expect so you never know who you may run into there :) &, if you decide to sit at the bar, their bar snack is a glass of Bacon for you to munch on which is Pretty cool. The Female bartender from Brazil was the stand out employee for me. Very hospitable. The female waitress with the red hair, was a little offputting yet very knowledgeable. I will definitely be back when in the area!

We had such a super friendly service! The food was really delicious. The bread they bring at the beginning was absolutely amazing – three different kinds, each better than the other. We both had the steak, perfectly grilled to the point. And for dessert, of course, the cheesecake – which was HUGE! Definitely a portion for one person, but we couldn’t even finish it together.

First I’ll say, major shoutout to the incredible hospitality and teamwork of Kevin & Erika. Kevin was extremely helpful and we were assured by his recommendations. The appetizer, main, and dessert were all fantastic. My Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our food and the service. Erika was assisting periodically at our table too and she was so friendly…really made our night by dining here. We heard of the great reviews, tried for ourselves, and can say we too recommend Prime 112. Ask for Kevin or Erika; you will be glad.

Last night I had an amazing dinner at Prime 112. I was greeted by a very welcoming host and decided to sit at the bar to wait for my friend to arrive. At the bar they offered bacon as a bar snack instead of something like peanuts. Which was very tasty. Bacon is always a plus for me. The bartending staff was very attentive. Top notch bartenders took care of my requests promptly. The meal itself along with the service was exceptional. Not once did I feel like I wasn’t taken care of. I highly recommend visiting this establishment. I will return soon to sample other tasty menu items.

Anniversary Dinner!!! Loved. Loved. Loved everything about this dinner. We went on a Tuesday night, so reservations were readily available. Upon our arrival, we were immediately seated. Waiter was there with no delay to inform us of the chef's specials, to take our drinks and appetizer orders. We chose the calamari and lump Crab cake. For our entree, we chose the Fried snapper for 2, with roasted vegetables and a lemon butter sauce. Yeeesss!!!!! The snapper was seasoned and fried too perfection. The vegetables were so good. And that lemon butter sauce was de-li-cious!!! All in all, we really enjoyed our night.

Incredible dinner tonight! Visiting Miami Beach for work and was incredibly blown away with Prime 112. The food was very good, reasonable and seasoned well. The service was the shining star with our waitress providing thoughtful recommendations. It felt every person wanted to make it the best dining experience. I only docked one star on atmosphere due to the close proximity of the tables to each other- otherwise loved the ambiance.

This is my first time visiting prime 112 and what a fun experience I had with my coworker. We walked in sat in the bar area which was not too packed at the time. We were greeted right away by the bartenders. As we sat there looking through the menu, I noticed a cup filled with bacon in it. I kindly asked what was the big and filled cup for and they said it was for the customers to eat. Is the first I've ever seen something like this which was awesome. Continuing on to the appetizers we got crab cakes and calamari. The crabcakes were amazing they were plump and full of crab meat the one with the relish that it came with. Considering on to dinner I ordered a 24 oz T-Bone cook black and blue style and my coworker order 22 oz bone in ribeye. Everything came out perfect and cooked the right way and taste it amazing the steak melted in your mouth. As for the two sides we got mashed potatoes an broccoli. For dessert of course we had to get the banana pudding dessert. Overall what an amazing place to visit and eat at. The experience makes up for everything.

My husband and I went here after falling in love with Prime and Fish on a previous trip to Miami. They were owned by the same owner so we decided to give it a try. Steak was excellent. People go here to be seen going some place nice. The food is quality all the way round. It’s very dark and sometimes loud inside. They have all the tables squished together. All wait staff is there to make you experience amazing and go above and beyond.

Mandolin Aegean Bistro is a charming restaurant founded by the husband and wife team, Ahmet Erkaya and Anastasia Koutsioukis. Housed in a 1930s-era building with patio seating, this bistro offers refined Greek and Turkish cuisine. The space features a lovely courtyard dining area with mature trees, orchids, and an outdoor bar.
Mandolin never disappoints! We enjoyed a fantastic meal – the fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned, the calamari was light and crunchy, and the dips (hummus, eggplant, and tomato) were fresh and full of flavor. The grilled fish was a highlight – perfectly cooked with a smoky char and served with fresh greens. The atmosphere is charming, and the service is friendly and attentive. One of the best dining spots in Miami for authentic Mediterranean flavors!

There isn’t much to say. It was very VERY good. Service was amazing (except when leaving, no one said goodbye, a nitpick but it wasn’t detrimental. We had grilled octopus, oyster mushrooms and hummus and it was by far some of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. I love the EVO on the table and overall we instantly agreed at coming back.

Love the ambiance but the food fell a little too short for my liking. The salmon tartare was heavy on dill and lacking a pepper essence and did not have too much flavor or portion wise for the amount of chips that can with it. The turkish sampler was delicious but nothing remarkable or blow your socks off. Everything tasted very clean and fresh. The bread definitely needs work, a little too dense. The sea bass was okay- the deboning was not done properly as we still had to pick out bones after it was initially deboned. This caused us to not really enjoy it to the extent that we could have. The sangria is delicious, but I think it does not need the apples in it, possibly a different fruit as the apples did not add any flavoring to the actual sangria. I would have preferred more citrus included or some kind of melon of some sort. The honey pie was excellent. Highly recommend that.

I had been dying to come here for ages and finally got the opportunity! I would say that it met, but did not exceed, my expectations. Gorgeous atmosphere that feels like a slice of the Mediterranean in Miami. The food was delicious, but it did not blow me away. We had the Turkish sampler, chicken kebab, and swordfish special. Again, all delicious, but nothing truly special. We were very disappointed that they were out of the manti dumplings, which was one of the main dishes we had hoped to try. I thought the service was mediocre: not too fast, not too slow, and our waiter seemed very frazzled (totally valid, it was busy). Overall, we enjoyed the meal, but felt that it was pretty overpriced.

Mandolin Aegean Bistro is always a prioritized stop every time I’m in Miami — and for good reason. The moment you walk in, you’re transported straight to the Aegean coast with its serene, whitewashed setting, charming blue accents, and effortlessly relaxed atmosphere. It’s one of those rare places that manages to feel both upscale and completely unpretentious at the same time. The food is consistently incredible — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully simple. The grilled octopus, lamb chops, and tomato salad are standouts, and the homemade dips with warm bread are the perfect way to start every meal. Cocktails are crisp, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. Service is polished but warm, with a staff that knows the menu inside out and treats every guest like they’ve been coming for years. Whether it’s lunch under the sun or dinner under the string lights, Mandolin always delivers. It’s a must-visit — not just one of the best restaurants in Miami, but a true destination in itself. Five stars, every single time.

I had the chance to visit Mandoline Argent Bistro in Madrid, and it was truly a delightful experience. The food was absolutely outstanding — I would rate it a perfect 100 out of 100. Every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly crafted with great attention to detail. The cocktails were another highlight. They’re creative, visually striking, and just as good in taste as they are in presentation — some of the best I’ve had in Madrid. The service, however, could use some improvement. While the staff was kind and professional, the pace and attentiveness didn’t fully match the excellence of the food. I’d rate it around 70 out of 100. I’ve also added a few photos for a better glimpse of the experience: •Table: A warm and cozy setup that makes you feel at home. •Bar: Modern, stylish, and perfect for enjoying the creative cocktails. • Food: Beautifully plated dishes, full of flavor and color. The total came to $163 (without tax), which is quite reasonable compared to many restaurants around the Miami area. Overall, Mandoline Argent Bistro is a spot I’d recommend to anyone seeking top-quality food, unique drinks, and a welcoming vibe in Miami.

Bakery
Zak the Baker is a well-known, laid-back cafe with a hip vibe that specializes in gourmet house-baked goods and light fare. The cafe offers incredible French pastries and an amazing atmosphere. It's located at 295/405 NW 26th St. Additionally, the restaurant uses products from neighboring businesses like Zak the Baker and Panther Coffee.
On street, metered parking BUT they will ticket within seconds so do pay! We saw the writing lots of tickets. On the sunny side - Absolutely loved our visit to Zack the Baker! The Nutella croissant was one of the most delicious I’ve ever had—perfectly flaky with just the right amount of sweetness. We also enjoyed their French toast on our second visit but it is enough for two or three people to share. The staff was friendly and helpful, even finding us a seat inside when it was busy. Coffee refills are available on request, which was a nice bonus. We also appreciated the clean bathroom and reasonable prices, especially for a spot in a larger city. Note: They’re closed on Saturdays, so plan accordingly. If you stop by on a Friday, don’t miss their freshly baked Challah loaves—they looked incredible! We purchased the cranberry country loaf but regret not buying the Challah. Will definitely buy it next time., Highly recommend for a warm, satisfying start to your day.

I'm stupid glad we slid thru this spot for breakfast. We were there on a Friday morning, so it wasn't crazy crowded, but I can easily see how it would be. The layout is nice and open, where you can see the bakers baking from your table. There's also a nice coffee/takeout counter up front. Our server was very attentive, and as I always appreciate, she made us feel at home. The menu isn't crazy extensive, and that made ordering a lot easier. I went right for the French toast. Just a couple thick slices of fresh-baked bread brought together into one big ol' slab of decadence. I'm gonna describe it just like it's written on the menu, "Brioche dipped in Vanilla Bean Custard, layered with Florida Pecan Butter, Crème Anglaise, Blueberry Coulis, Whipped Cream & ZTB Farmhouse Lemon Thyme", yeah, all that and then some. It was so deliciously rich I couldn't finish it all in one sitting. We also had the Egg Platter with two eggs, crazy crispy delicious smashed potatoes, labneh, pickled onions on top of fresh avocado, marinated olives, and spelt sourdough. That was fresh and impressive as well. I had the hibiscus lemonade, and it was worth the words I've heard describing it, "Awesome and alone worth the visit". All in all, I was very pleased with this spot and would recommend visiting. If I lived around there, it would easily become one of my morning treats. Oh yes, the restrooms were very clean and well-equipped.There are two individual rooms (is that the right word?).

My husband and I ordered breakfast — one egg platter and one avocado toast. The taste and quality were great, but the bread portion was disappointingly small, especially for a bakery. This was particularly surprising with the egg platter, where the bread came as two tiny strips alongside the labneh — not even equal to a single slice. The bigger issue, however, was the service — slow, inattentive, and unfriendly. Aside from the hostess, no one seemed interested in engaging with us. It took a while for someone to take our order, even longer for the food to arrive, and no one checked on us afterward. When we finally managed to get someone’s attention for the check, it was handed over without a word, barely any eye contact, and certainly no thank you or goodbye. Perhaps the mandatory 18% service charge has something to do with it — if the tip is guaranteed, there seems to be no motivation to provide decent service. Overall, while we really like this place for its baked goods, we won’t be returning for dine-in. It seems better suited for grab-and-go, or for picking up their bread at Whole Foods.

Incredible bakery in the Wynnwood area of Miami. I have been looking forward to going to this bakery for a while based upon it’s reviews, and the food is amazing. Large on-site bakery produces some unique items and fresh bread. I had an almond croissant that was very good. Highly recommended.

I have heard so many good things about Zak The Baker over the years but after trying Zak The Baker for the first time, I honestly don’t see what the hype was about. I’ll go into more details below: I went to Zak The Baker for a weekday lunch and was seated with minimal wait. It took a few minutes for a server to greet me and the service was overall pretty cold. The restaurant has a mandatory 18% service charge and the staff didn’t seem to care about providing good service because the gratuity was already tacked on to the bill. I ordered a Cold Brew Coffee ($5.50) to start. The coffee was good and locally brewed in Miami. The server advised they only have Whole, Almond, and Oat milk for creamer, pretty limited in my opinion for the cost of the coffee. For food, I loved the variety of fresh and locally grown items. I wanted to get the Caesar Salad but add a protein, and the server advised they can’t add proteins to the salad because “they are a fully Kosher kitchen and restaurant” and he seemed to get an attitude about it. The restaurant doesn’t advertise themselves as being a fully Kosher restaurant or I would have never come here as I don’t have a need to pay a premium to dine at a fully Kosher restaurant. The server advised the only protein they could provide was Salmon and it would be prepared on a separate plate. So I opted on spending less and getting the Tomato Bisque and Grilled Cheese ($15). The tomato bisque was really good, the sandwich was average and the servers completely disappeared after my food arrived and I left as soon as I flagged someone down for my check. My stomach was messed up later in the day after my meal so I’m not really sure about their food preparation at the restaurant and won’t go back.

The great thing about Zak the Baker is how they keep prices low while still using high quality ingredients they even harvest from their own farm! Extremely affordable which is amazing for Miami, especially in Wynwood. I had a sandwich for $12, honestly…you can’t beat that. The servers knew what they were talking about, super knowledgeable ,made the whole experience really smooth & welcoming. The space is bright, cozy, and it’s the kind of place that reminds you why simple, honest food can feel special. My experience was nothing short of exceptional . The best part was taking home a box of pastries to share with my family, you can really taste how fresh they are . Definitely a Miami gem .
Denis S — Google review
The display case was filled with the most beautiful, masterfully made pastries. We were tempted by them all but settled on a bagel since we were visiting—if we lived here, we would have gotten a loaf for the week! What we got: - Nova Bagel 3.5/5. one of the better meals I had in Miami! The pickled onion was a colorful touch. The bagel itself was ok. - Frisee Salad 4/5. in dire need of veggies on the trip. hit the spot with its freshness. I liked the amount of dressing it came with but my partner felt it was too drenched and overwhelming. I’m sure if we got other pastries, they would have been fantastic! We arrived at 11:30am on a Monday in June and had no wait! After we arrived, the place was quite busy with people coming in. The staff was polite and they said that a few people cover an area so they support each other. The glass, open kitchen was gorgeous and fun to watch the busy staff prepping for the next day’s baked goods.

El Mago De Las Fritas is a no-frills Cuban eatery known for its flavorful fritas, which are Cuban-style burgers topped with Spanish paprika, chorizo, onions, and crispy potato sticks. The owner, Ortelio Cardenas, has been serving these delicious sandwiches since 1984. This spot offers a variety of comfort food including hotdogs and steak sandwiches as well as sweet treats like flan and fruit milkshakes.
Wow! Thank you, Andrew Zimmern, for introducing me to El Mago!! What an experience, truly amazing. The 1st thing I saw was a glorious golden pile of the homemade chicharrones. Yes please 🙏 Hard to describe the level of flavor and sheer excellence of this 🙌 Next up a double Frita a Caballo. Perfect patty cooked in tomato sauce and onions. House made papitas and bread create the perfect foil to serve the Frita on. Beer, colada, and flan to round out a transformational dining experience!! Martha is so warm and inviting, and you can see the same qualities and level of service from everyone who works at El Mago. Thank you to all! 👏👏👏

I went on Saturday with my boyfriend who has never tried a frita and my 95 year old grandma. The waitress and even the owners daughter were very sweet . Our waitress was very attentive, I sadly forgot her name but didn’t forget her welcoming smile and the pride that she had to work there. I believe she said she had been working there for 7 years , she made it a point to let us know everything was made there daily . My mamey shake was really good , and the croquettas were amazing , the frita had a gourmet twist to it . We all enjoyed our food but what I loved most was how down to earth and nice everyone was . The owners daughter , even spoke to us , asked us about our experience and she even said a nice comment about us and our grandma. Little places like these , that make you feel like you are visiting family is what makes Miami so special.

We ate here 7 years ago and remembered it being wonderful! We had the opportunity to stop in again and it was just as good if not better than last time. We had the frita, tostones, rice and beans and they blessed us with a flan for my birthday. Service was top notch and food was over the top. And as a bonus, the man himself was there and the kids enjoyed taking a picture with him. We can’t wait to go again.

There are reserved parking spots right in front of the business (I think 3). Parking elsewhere is doable but read the signs carefully. We came on a weekday around noon and were able to be seated right away. Our waitress was extremely pleasant and helpful. The mango smoothie was delicious and the burger was amazing. Next time, I think I would skip the side order of fries and just ordered another burger, which are small but packed with flavor. Their homemade flan (made by El Mago himself) didn’t disappoint! Can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommend!

Stubborn Seed in Miami Beach is a chef-driven restaurant known for its seasonal American cuisine and craft cocktails. Chef Jeremy Ford's culinary creations, such as fragrant housemade potato rolls with fennel pollen and garbanzo chili dip, and Wagyu beef cheek served with charred maitakes, are exceptional. The restaurant offers takeout and delivery options so you can savor its famous flavors at home.
We celebrated our anniversary at Stubborn Seed, trying their Miami Spice menu ($60 per person). The food was delicious, and the service was warm and attentive. We arrived early at 6 pm, so it was quiet with only a few other guests, which I loved and the restaurant had a lovely, subtle scent in the air. The dress code was quite mixed: some guests were dressed to impress with high heels and elegant outfits, while others wore beach clothes, sneakers, and shorts. Plenty of street parking nearby made it easy, and thankfully, it wasn’t a long walk in high heels 😂

I’ve been a fan of Jeremy since Top Chef, and Miami Spice was the perfect introduction to dining at Stubborn Seed. We were absolutely blown away! The chicken was the most tender I’ve ever had, the beef cheek was rich with deep, layered flavors, and the lamb ravioli was pure perfection. Dessert was exquisite, full of flavor bombs and unexpected pairings like feta and banana that worked beautifully together. And lets not overlook bread and butter service.. WOW! The service was excellent from start to finish, and the ambiance struck the perfect balance of upscale and inviting. Can’t wait to return and try the full tasting menu one day!

Stubborn Seed exceeded all expectations during my Miami visit. The service here is truly impeccable - among the best I've experienced at any Michelin-starred restaurant in the USA. I opted for the 3-course amuse menu ($85 + tax), and appreciated that unlike many Miami restaurants, they don't automatically add a 20% service charge. The meal began with a delightful soft roll and beautifully shaped butter. The food was excellent overall, though the Seared Berkshire Porkchop (2nd course) had prominent cinnamon that wasn't mentioned on the menu. When I mentioned this, the staff was incredibly responsive - he later apologized and surprised me with a complimentary caviar course. This level of attentiveness was outstanding. As a birthday celebration, they went above and beyond with a gorgeous dessert presentation including "Happy Birthday" carved on the plate with a candle. The desserts were delicious and beautifully plated. Despite being "only" one Michelin star, this is hands-down the best Michelin experience I've had. The combination of exceptional service, excellent food, and reasonable pricing makes it a must-visit. I'll definitely return on my next Miami trip!

What an amazing culinary experience! I ordered from the Miami Spice $60 dinner menu, and the chef changed the main dish to accommodate my pescatarian diet. The food was so delicious in taste and texture, and so beautiful in presentation, and the service from Ida and all the other staff members was impeccable. The drink I ordered was amazing but expensive. So if you are in town during August or September or for any special occasion, I highly recommend this Michelin-starred restaurant.

Stubborn Seed offers a truly elevated dining experience — the six-course tasting menu was creative, beautifully plated, and showcased thoughtful techniques in every dish. The flavors were bold yet balanced, and you can tell each course was crafted with intention. Service overall was friendly and professional, and we were especially impressed by the staff’s knowledge and attention to detail. They described each course with ease, naming every component and ingredient, which really enhanced the experience and helped us appreciate the complexity behind each dish. The pacing of the food itself was on the slower side, but it allowed time to fully enjoy the wine pairings and presentation. The atmosphere is sleek and modern — just a little colder than expected, so bringing a light sweater isn’t a bad idea. There was a noticeable fragrance in the dining room — likely from candles or diffusers — that was pleasant but a bit strong and overpowering the food at times. Overall, the night felt special. Thank you to the team for helping us celebrate both my birthday and our anniversary!

One of the best restaurant experiences in my life. The service was impeccable and truly deserves a Michelin. Bakery
Fireman Derek’s Bake Shop is a popular bakery and cafe located in the Wynwood Art District neighborhood of Miami. The shop, founded by former firefighter turned professional baker Derek Kaplan, specializes in delicious pies, cheesecakes, cookies, and milkshakes. What started as a food truck has now become a well-known brick-and-mortar establishment offering world-famous desserts.
🎉Ok Fireman Dereks 🫶🏽 I've only had positive experiences at the location in Wynwood. Its always clean, usually little to no line or wait time. People are friendly and patient. I actually like this location in terms of friendlyness more than the coconut grove one. I usually stick to the cheesecakes and I can recommend trying them all. But my favorite were the original, Cookie monster, and cookies and cream. The cookies are also good but the cheesecake is better.
Ali — Google review
As a former donut shop owner and now a consultant for dessert businesses, I can confidently say Fireman Derek’s Bake Shop in Wynwood is a masterclass in dessert excellence! This place is a must-visit gem in the heart of Miami’s vibrant arts district. From the moment I stepped in, the bright, cozy vibe and the intoxicating aroma of freshly baked goods had me hooked. The colorful murals and bustling energy perfectly match Wynwood’s creative spirit, making it an ideal spot to refuel after exploring the neighborhood. The menu is a showcase of bold flavors and meticulous craftsmanship. I started with their legendary Key Lime Pie, which lives up to its Miami New Times “Best Key Lime Pie” title—perfectly tart, creamy, and balanced with a flaky graham cracker crust that’s clearly made with love. The Salty Monkey Pie was a revelation, blending chocolate, peanut butter, banana, and pretzel in a way that’s indulgent yet harmonious—pure genius! I also grabbed a Guava & White Chocolate Cookie, and let me tell you, the sweet-tart guava drizzle paired with the rich cookie base is a game-changer. As someone who teaches others how to create standout glazes, I was blown away by their in-house artistry. The staff is phenomenal—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about their craft. Jada, one of the servers, made my visit extra special with her spot-on recommendations and warm energy. It’s clear they’ve been trained well, which I appreciate as someone who coaches businesses on employee systems. The bakery’s commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients shines through in every bite, and the fact that everything is baked in-house daily speaks to their dedication to quality. I also love how Fireman Derek’s has built a community vibe, from their 10-year anniversary mural supporting local artists to their creative specials like the chocolate-dipped key lime pie on a stick. As a consultant, I admire how Derek Kaplan turned his firefighting passion into a thriving brand that’s become a Miami staple. The prices reflect the premium quality (e.g., $8-$13 per slice), but trust me, every penny is worth it for these massive, flavor-packed portions. Whether you’re a dessert aficionado or just craving a sweet escape, Fireman Derek’s is a Wynwood must. I’m already planning my next visit to try the Cookie Monster Pie and maybe a savory quiche for balance. This place sets the bar high for bakeries everywhere—don’t miss it

Every time I’m in Wynwood, I have to stop here and get their pecan pie. It is the best pecan pie I’ve had as it’s not overly sweet. Their salted caramel pie is also delicious but I forgot to take a picture of that. The service is always excellent and the ambience is very cheerful with its colorful decorations. I will always be returning here whenever I’m craving something sweet.

I visited the Wynwood location after dinner to grab a pie slice before heading home. The attached pictures is exactly what I was served and no, I had not taken a bite out of it yet. I was basically served all whip cream. Especially for being called the “cookie monster”, this order was completely lacking. The quality of Firemen Derek’s has gone down since I first started going.

Fireman, Derek, your cakes used to be so soft so moist so delicious like I used to anticipate waiting to eat just that first bite I could remember. My mouth used to be so watery I used to feel so alive with every piece of cake or pie but lately I don't even know what to say. i'm eating cornbread and cornbread. I should put that in there too cardboard is that the word because when I put my fork through the K it crumbles apart nothing stuck together. Nothing is fresh. Nothing is wholesome. Nothing is fluffy. Nothing is soft. Nothing is soft melting in my mouth my mouth is not watery. i'm so disgusted and so disappointed that you guys have allowed your brand your standards. The taste the value to diminish it by not giving people fresh food when I say I used to order from you guys like every other day every week and to just ordered this last confetti cake, birthday cake or whatever cake you wanna call it with the sprinkles it was horrible man. Yeah yeah I gotta get it together. Get it together. Give people what they pay for this is not free when I'm picking up free food from you guys we're paying for fresh food. I mean I would only expect something fresh when you go to a restaurant when you sit down to eat that they're giving you something fresh. Please do better. Keep it FRESH everyday‼️

I have been a loyal customer of FIREMAN DEREK’s since the store opened. I have enjoyed many of your baked products , including crackpies, guava cookies, and Oreo cheesecake pies. However, my experience at the WYNWOOD store today has left me deeply disappointed and motivated to never return. The lack of respect and civility displayed by your manager was truly unacceptable. I arrived at the store and ordered a few items, including a slice of “CRACKPIE”. I took a bite while and immediately realized that the pie was stale and frozen. I explained to the manager that the pie was not fresh and didn’t taste right. Her response was dismissive and arrogant. She claimed that they didn’t get fresh pies because they were delivered twice or three times a week and that they had three stores, so they couldn’t possibly have fresh pies every day. This attitude was unnecessary , especially for a simple question. It doesn’t even make sense: since FIreman Derek’s have 3 stores, shouldn’t they be able to deliver fresh products ? you have Specially I had paid for a fresh piece of pie, and I didn’t expect to be served something frozen and unappetizing. If the pies are not FRESH, please put up signs !!! It’s only fair with the customer to know they are not paying for fresh pie. When I asked what I could do about the situation, I offered to get another product to substitute. After she cut the slice, to my shock, she asked me to pay for it. As a side note, the full pie I had purchased and paid for was already in the trash. She asked me if I was going to eat it, and I said no, so she put it in the trash bin. She insisted that she couldn’t give me “free food,” but the point is that it wasn’t free. I had paid for something and didn’t get what I paid for. Any decent business would try to make a customer happy, especially a loyal one. This manager turned her back on me the moment I asked for her name and went to the back of the store, never to return. I want to make it clear that during all this time, I spoke to everyone in a respectful tone and didn’t make a scene or yell at anyone. I simply expected the situation to be resolved in a civilized manner. This is not about a bad experience, a bad slice of pie, or even about the $10 I wasted in the trash. This is about a business’s respect for its customers. I left your store feeling frustrated and completely disrespected. If you don’t want to run out of business maybe you should be more concerned with keeping customers, perhaps you should be more cautious about who you hire as a manager and make decisions on your behalf. I don’t have the name of this manager because she didn’t provide it. Three unhelpful and arrogant workers were involved in this situation. No one offered any assistance. They all kept pointing to the policy signs, as if I were trying to “scheme the system.” All I wanted was a fresh slice of pie and to go home happily.

New American restaurant
Ariete is a modern farmhouse-style restaurant located in the heart of Coconut Grove, known for its progressive American cuisine with a Cuban twist. Chef Michael Beltran's innovative menu evolves with the seasons, featuring dishes made from carefully sourced seasonal ingredients. The restaurant offers a private venue called The Cave for intimate events and has both indoor and outdoor dining areas, including a patio surrounded by lush greenery.
We visited this restaurant for Miami Spice and it was an unforgettable experience. Every dish we tried was spectacular, but a few truly stood out. The venison tartare was exceptional, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The pork belly was tender and succulent, with rich flavors that made it unforgettable. The wahoo fish was equally impressive, delicate yet full of flavor, and beautifully complemented by its accompaniments. The service was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, with staff who guided us through the menu and made us feel genuinely welcomed. The overall balance of flavors and ingredients in each dish reflected remarkable culinary skill. The ambiance inside is warm, romantic, and intimate, with lighting that sets the perfect mood and music at just the right volume for conversation. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations, making this a place we would gladly return to and highly recommend.

Had a great dinner at Ariete. It’s a smaller place with only 6 tables in the main dining area. It’s lively and a bit loud but not overwhelming. The food is great. Great grilled oysters to start and the duck is a must have. The best you will have with the canard presser for the sauce. Service is good. Definitely worth the trip.

Ariete is truly one of Miami’s dining treasures. From the moment we sat down, the service was excellent—attentive without ever being overbearing. The team was always on point, even making sure our wine glasses were never empty. We started with a selection of appetizers: the caviar donuts, grilled oysters, crudo, sweetbreads, and foie gras. Every dish had something special to offer, but the foie gras stood out as the star—an extraordinary preparation that alone is worth the visit. For the entrée, the pork was rich, flavorful, and beautifully executed. We ended with the olive oil cake and ice cream, a dessert that was both elegant and comforting. The cocktails here also deserve a mention—the mezcal and tropical fruit creation was absolutely delicious, perfectly balanced, and easily one of my favorite cocktails anywhere. Between the food, the cocktails, and the outstanding service, Ariete delivers an unforgettable dining experience. A must-visit in Miami.

I’ve been dining at Ariete since 2021, and it has consistently delivered excellence in service, food, and atmosphere. This place is one of Miami’s true hidden gems: underrated yet easily among the best restaurants in the city. The restaurant is run with care and precision, and the team makes each visit memorable. I usually sit at my favorite spot at the bar (near the wall, best view) and rotate through a few go-to entrées that never miss. Special recognition to Ricky and Luiza — they are among the best in the business. Thoughtful, engaging, and the epitome of professionalism. They even created a custom mocktail in my honor: El Alejandro (fresh mango, ginger, lime, and bruised ice), a small gesture that speaks volumes. Other team members who make my experience exceptional: Junior, Jabari, Adrian, Jeff, Nile, and Willy — a phenomenal crew that treats guests like regulars from day one. I always leave Ariete happy and already looking forward to my next visit. Favorites on the menu: > Foie Gras > Oysters > Farmer > Duck > Wagyu > Venison > Pork
Alejandro — Google review
The friendly and welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home and lasts through the full visit. The staff is easily what makes Ariete special. The food is absolutely fabulous but the loveliness of the people is what steals your heart. I tried the oysters (fab), the venison tartar, the boniato gnocchi and duck confit, and the corn ice cream with miso caramel. My favorite morsel of the night though wasn't on the menu, it was the amuse bouche. A mini tartlet with flaky tender crust, filled with a spicy calabaza cream and foam. The venison is not something I would normally choose but I was so glad I did. It was absolutely terrific and flavorful. Definitely one my favorite dishes. The gnocchi and duck was succulent and tender, and the perfect portion for anyone wondering about Miami Spice. While the ice cream was superb, I do regret not following the bartender's orders to try the flan. The woman next to me said it was the best flan she'd ever had and would return just for that. Romantic vibes, excellent cocktails, and so easy to love. Highly recommend.

A Disappointing Second Visit My return to Ariete on Saturday, September 6th, was unfortunately a letdown, falling far short of the standards one would expect from a one Michelin Star eatery. While the quality of the food remains a strong point, the overall dining experience was significantly hindered by a series of service failures and a less-than-ideal atmosphere. The most glaring issue was the consistently slow bar service. I ordered a Martini with my food, but it arrived after I had finished my appetizer - despite a couple of inquiries as to the status of the long-delayed Martini. A second glass of wine, ordered to accompany a main course, only reached the table after the meal was finished. This lack of timing and attention completely undermined the enjoyment of the courses and is unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. Beyond the service, the restaurant’s interior was uninspiring. The décor is mediocre at best, and the open kitchen concept, while often a nice feature, created an overwhelmingly bright and loud environment with nothing to dampen the noise. It was difficult to have a conversation, which took away from the overall dining experience. To compound the frustration, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill with no option to change it, which felt unwarranted given the poor service. To then be presented with the option of adding an additional 2-7% gratuity felt insulting. A high-end restaurant should not need to resort to such measures when the service provided does not support a high-level tip. While the food was good, it could not compensate for the significant shortcomings in service and atmosphere. Based on this visit, the experience did not align with the reputation or cost associated with a Michelin-starred restaurant. ———————- Reference: Server: Holly N Check: #26 Table: 22 Guest count: 5 Date: 9/6/2025

“Miami Picante” Experience & Birthday Dinner On the evening of my birthday, my partner and I chose Ariete to celebrate — drawn by its Michelin star, its Miami-rooted culinary identity, and the Miami Picante dinner event. The experience was elegant, flavorful, and memorable, with several service highlights and thoughtful touches that made it even more special. 🛎️ Reception & Atmosphere We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The ambiance is intimate and stylish, with a balance of refined minimalism and Miami vibrancy. We were taken care of by Manon, who was exceptionally attentive, kind, and observant throughout the entire meal. Her service made us feel welcomed and truly celebrated. 🍸 Drinks & Hospitality In addition to Manon, special acknowledgment goes to Jef, who delivered an outstanding wine service, and to Nick, whose attentiveness and professionalism were evident from start to finish. The tamarind wine cocktail I received early in the evening was spectacular — refreshing, creative, and perfectly balanced. These team members elevated the evening with grace and expertise. Amuse-Bouche & Bread Course • The meal began with pumpkin seed tartlets, a vibrant one-bite amuse-bouche that was playful, well-balanced, and a delightful start to the evening. • Soon after, we were served fresh bread with a rich, whipped compound butter — earthy and airy, a subtle standout. However, the plate’s design made it difficult to rest cutlery between bites, a minor inconvenience in an otherwise seamless flow. 🥂 First Course • Beef Tartare: Served with toasted sourdough and a creamy base, the tartare was robust and clean, showing off expert seasoning and restraint. • Beet Salad: Artfully plated with frisée and a herbaceous mousse, this dish was refreshing and colorful, a vegetal contrast to the meat. 🥩 Second Course • Braised Short Rib: Rich, fall-apart tender meat over a silky purée with a glossy reduction and fresh herbs. Hearty and refined. • Pan-Seared White Fish: Perfectly cooked with a golden sear, plated over a vibrant, creole-style sauce and topped with pickled onion. This dish stood out for its tropical flair and balance. 🍰 Third Course & Birthday Dessert The dessert progression was thoughtful, surprising, and memorable: • A small, warmly served birthday treat with a lit candle — a heartfelt touch that made me feel genuinely celebrated. • A creamy bowl dessert (likely pistachio or olive oil ice cream) was velvety and aromatic. • A plated sweet with whipped topping and syrupy sauce added a balanced richness. • And to close, bittersweet chocolate spheres, delicate and smooth — the final punctuation of a well-paced, well-executed meal. Billing Transparency One detail worth noting: gratuity was included automatically in the final bill from the moment it arrived. While common in Miami’s fine dining scene — and especially in group or celebratory settings — it’s something diners should be aware of upfront. In this case, it was clearly indicated, and service fully justified it. ✨ Final Impression Every course was a celebration of balance — bold yet elegant, familiar but reimagined. While minor refinements (like plate ergonomics) could bring it closer to perfection, the staff’s warmth — especially Manon, Nick, and Jef — made this birthday dinner deeply memorable. Ariete earns its star and then some. ⭐ Would I return? Absolutely — for the cuisine, the service, and the feeling of being truly cared for.

Omg, the food was so good!!! I'm happy that this was the last place we ate out in Miami before our flight back to Europe. The flavors were so good and the place was full of people. We walked by several other eateries that were completely empty and this one was where everyone was at. The prices were decent and everything delicious. If we ever go back to Miami I would love to get some more food from this establishment.

Well, I finally got to visit this restaurant. I was in town for work and this place was highly recommended by multiple people. I wanted to have the entire sit down experience, but the place was packed! The ambiance was good and it felt like you were at a family reunion. I ended up ordering a Cuban Sandwich from the takeout window, since the wait time was going to be a bit long and I was in a hurry. 5 Minutes later, I got my sandwich, handed over by the owner. I told her it was my first day at her establishment. She welcomed me and hoped I liked the food and to come back when in town. She was super nice and humble. No wonder she is like a legend in the area. The sub was delicious. It had the perfect balance of ingredients and the bread was super fresh and crispy. I will definitely go back when in town. I was told the pan con bistec was fantastic and the ropa vieja was outstanding. Heck, I might try both!

As always Enriquetas does not disappoint. Good service, and thankfully we found a seat in the breakfast bar area. Quick service. We had a shot of espresso and for breakfast an egg sandwhich and turkey sandwhich. I had totally forgotten how big they are. Highly recommend you arrive before 11am as the pricing changes.

Amazing diner that offers one of the best Cuban sandwiches you can find in their Double Cuban! Stacked high with a chopped pulled pork. It is very big and can easily be shared if you do not have a large appetite. It is so delicious, that it is crave worthy. Staff is very nice, attentive, and the atmosphere is casual. Would definitely recommend and visit every time in Miami!

Cuban soul food for the soul is on the menu at the family restaurant que tienen el sabor. The breakfast special is completo, the Bistec a Caballo (eggs on horseback - palomilla steak with onions, grilled ham and lime) with fries is fantastic! Sandwiches are a can't miss, including one of Miami's best Pan con bistec (steak sandwiches) and the Pan Enriqueta, una tortilla encebollado (an onion omelette) con queso suizo, jamón, tomate y bacon (Swiss cheese, ham, tomato and bacon) which is a VERY filling option. Lunch specials are can't miss classic prepared Cuban lunch-dinner items. Only open Monday. Thru Sat. for breakfast and lunch, so don't try to brunch this spot.

If you're looking for a true taste of Cuba, this restaurant is an absolute gem. The flavors are rich, the portions are generous, and every dish feels like a homemade meal straight from Havana. From the perfectly seasoned ropa vieja to the crispy, golden tostones, everything is prepared with love and attention to detail. What makes this place even more special is the owner Enriqueta an incredibly kind and welcoming woman who treats every guest like family. Her warmth and hospitality make the dining experience feel even more authentic. Whether you're a Cuban food enthusiast or trying it for the first time, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

The shop offers six traditional Cuban sandwich recipes, including the classic Cubano, Croqueta Preparada, Pan con Bistec, Pan con Lechon, Media Noche, and the signature Sanguich de Miami. The sandwiches are made with carefully buttered and toasted Cuban bread and are known for their authentic flavors.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Must-Try Cuban Sandwich Experience at Sanguich de Miami! 5 locations in Miami. I went to Sanguich to finally experience their famous Cuban sandwich—and it did not disappoint! The line was long when I arrived, which shows how popular the place is, but surprisingly I got seated right away. I ordered at the counter and tried the Cuban Sandwich, Pan con Lechón, Chicharrón, and a Cortadito. Every bite was packed with flavor! The Cuban sandwich had the perfect balance of crispy bread, juicy pork, and tangy pickles—definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. The place itself is very cool and stylish. You can choose to sit at a regular table or at the bar on high stools, which gives a fun, casual vibe. Despite being busy, the service was quick and friendly. If you're in Miami and craving authentic Cuban food in a trendy setting, Sanguich is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back

The Cubano sandwich was really good, especially paired with a cafecito, and the croquetas were tasty too. This is more of an in-and-out spot—it’s very small and gets super crowded, so ordering to go is probably the best option. Prices are on the higher side, and I was a little disappointed they didn’t have pan con bistec since I was dying to try it. Staff were friendly and quick.

Easily the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had in my life! Media Noche was my favorite. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Proportion of fillings was perfect and flavorful. Mamey shake was also delicious. Flan cake was a great dessert. Service was friendly, and prices were reasonable. I'll definitely be back!

If you want to try a cuban sandwich in Miami, THIS is the place to go. We tried the original cubano and the croquetta preparada for lunch - we liked this croquetta preparada so much, we got another one for dinner. This shop is small, but constantly busy. Try to come in before the lunch rush around 11 am if you plan to sit and dine in the restaurant. They also have a location in Bayside marketplace, which is even smaller. Their side sauce is a garlicky sauce which was tasty. They have batidos (milkshakes) with unique flavors. The timba flavor is a guava and cheese shake that encompasses the flavor of a typical guava and cheese empanada/roll. The trigo is a cereal-milk type milkshake that has the taste of the UK cereal Weetabix - it is slightly nutty and oaty and not too sweet. We got the milkshakes to go for a car ride, and it was a good car snack.
Navya V — Google review
We went on a weekday around 12pm for lunch, the small restaurant soon became so packed after we sat down. Food wise we got the famous Cuban sandwich ($15 ish), we were not impressed at all, it just tasted like a normal ham and cheese sandwich with pickles and mustard really, so we didn’t understand what the hype was about. A plus is the toilet was really spacious and clean.
Michelle S — Google review
I had a cubano and the fries. My husband got the pan con lichon. Both sandwiches were so yummy!! It's a small cozy spot with clean restrooms. It was non stop busy, but the wait wasn't long at all.
Lauren K — Google review
I would say the hype is real, but I wouldn’t agree that it’s worth it. We waited outside for over 30 minutes in a huge line, and while I still thought the food was great, it didn’t fully live up to the buzz. Their Cuban milkshakes were (batido de mango y batido de mamey) amazing, the ham croquetas were good, and their sandwiches were also great. However, among all the Miami sandwich spots with Michelin Bib Gourmand awards, this is one of them, but IMHO I think Tinta y Cafe has the edge when it comes to the best sandwich.
Javier H — Google review
A good sandwich with a nice crunch. The flavors were on point. I guess I was probably just expecting something different than a traditional Cuban.I’ve been to other restaurants and had their Cuban sandwiches. Sometimes it’s hit or miss. For the most part. It’s a hit at around $10 from the two other restaurants I’ve been at. I understand the process This restaurant goes through with their meats, condiments & seasoning. I’m happy with the sandwich & would like to try the media noche next

The food was okay and served quickly, though not very hot. You can see in the pictures what we ordered. The person taking orders didn’t seem very motivated—maybe they were having a bad day. The place itself was fine in terms of cleanliness. Overall, it’s decent, but I know better spots to eat tacos in Miami.

Doggi's Arepa Bar is a casual eatery offering traditional Venezuelan dishes, burgers, and seafood. The atmosphere and food quality are commendable, although some patrons have noted that the service can be inconsistent. Despite this, the menu features delectable options such as octopus ceviche, tequenos, arepas with various fillings like chicharron y queso and pabellon. The staff is efficient and accommodating to English-speaking guests.

The place has a very laid-back, takeout-style vibe. It doesn’t feel like the kind of spot with table service or servers taking your order. We had walked there and didn’t have a car, so we brought a non-alcoholic drink with us. Staff told us we couldn’t bring it in, which felt odd since the table next to us had an outside drink too. We’re very visibly non-hispanic, and didn’t speak Spanish, maybe that played a role, but who knows. The food was okay. A good one-time try, nothing special. We had the steak arepa and a hotdog. If the service had been better, we might have considered coming back.

my friends and I absolutely loved this place! we stumbled on it, but enjoyed it top to bottom. It had a cute daytime vibe. My arepa Mexicana blew me away. The guac was so fresh and flavorful and chunky. The meat (which was abundant) was charred and super flavorful and tender. The salt levels were perfect and the balance was amazing. The sangria was a standout; absolutely phenomenal balance of the fruit and wine. The pabellon empanada was crunchy and sweet, and the shredded chicken was juicy and tender! I do wish we were checked on by our server a bit more but she was kind and helpful and the other staff were also helpful and were intentional in curating a nice restaurant vibe.

What can we say that’s not stated in the the company name?! These stone crabs are truly fresh and delicious. Delivery to the Northeast was less than 12 hrs. When we are unable to travel to SoFl for enjoying these at restaurants...this is our go to for stone crabs. We even had them delivered at our Airbnb spot In Miami as well. Great friendly service and always a pleasure consuming the claw meat!

Garcia's Seafood Grille & Fish Market is a beloved Miami institution that has been serving fresh fish dishes and warm hospitality for nearly 60 years. Located by the Miami River, this unassuming spot offers an on-site market and an outdoor patio with picturesque river views. The restaurant, now run by brothers Luis Garcia and Esteban Garcia Jr., continues to attract locals who appreciate its daily catch available for purchase at the adjacent fish market or on the menu.
Hands down one of the best seafood spots I’ve ever been to! The lobster mac and cheese was out of this world creamy, flavorful, and packed with lobster. Our server was amazing, provided top-notch customer service, and made the experience even better. The waterfront view was the perfect backdrop for a relaxing meal, and they even let my mom smoke on the patio while she enjoyed her food. 10/10 — highly recommend if you're in the area!

It's a 3.5-star place. You can sit outside at the deck to see boats coming home. Good environment, good vibe, good dish decorations, good food, and good services. HOWEVER, the meal took too long to be brought out, and they're at room temperature. It's not good to eat seafood at dishes at room temperatures. They also charge you the processing fee for paying with a credit card. The dishes are at premium price, and the owner still imposes the credit card fees on the customers. Someone is very stingy here.

Always wanted to come to Garcia's and tonight turn out to be thr night. Love the place. Market place on thr first floor, restaurant on thr second. Casual but trendy. Super full but was seated within minutes. Super attentive staff. We ate lobster bisque, 2 different kinds of raw oysters and lobster Mac and cheese. My friend had white wine, I had the lychee martini. Was so so good and fresh. I have always known of Garcia's. They were a client of mine when I work for incredible fish. I am so glad I came. I will be back again.

Love Gracias fried jumbo shrimp. They’re juicy and deliciously seasoned. They give you 5 but I can eat a bucket of them. We loved the snapper filet with rice and French fries. The fries are usually stale so it’s best to request fresh. Lychee Martini is a must. Cheesecake is yummy. Servers are sweet and attentive…. Outside can be cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing, but its surrounding areas are nice for a stroll after dinner and fun to watch all the boats sail by and catch the sunset. You can valet or try and find street parking for a fee

Garcia's is a well-known Miami spot with a market vibe downstairs and a restaurant upstairs. I've visited before without being overly impressed but enjoyed the Blackened Dolphin this time, it was well-cooked with good service. Overall, I consider it a decent place for seafood. If you need further analysis or specific details, let me know!

Garcia’s is one of those spots in Miami where the view and the food are both memorable. Sitting right on the river, you get an unbeatable waterfront setting — boats gliding by, a cool breeze, and a laid-back, old-school Miami vibe that’s hard to find these days. The service was genuinely warm and attentive, with staff who clearly know the menu and make you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time. Everything came out quickly and with a smile, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The seafood is fresh and flavorful — nothing too fussy, just quality ingredients done right. If you’re looking for a relaxed, no-frills place with great service and great views , Garcia’s delivers.

Very good seafood restaurant with a nice view of the miami river's yacht seen. We arrived close to sundown on a Sunday and there was plenty of inside and outside seating. Based on availability, you can choose outside or inside if it's too hot out. At sundown it started getting full, really quick! Food was very good but on the pricier side, still worth it with the views. Menu had a decent variety. Instead of 10$-20$ valet plus tip we did the street parking right across from Garcias at about 2-3$ per hour on app.
Jose I — Google review
We have been to Garcia's many times for lunch. It has always been good food and friendly service. I love that it is a casual place with lots of character in their decor as well as being situated right on the Miami River. We love watching all the boats and yachts sail by. There are 2 floors here. The first floor has their Fish Market, where you can buy fresh seafood and find some seating. The second floor is the dining area and the bathrooms. Also a great view of all the boats on the river. There are stairs to go up and also an elevator. Garcia's is a family owned business and they take pride in selling only the freshest and best seafood. That's why they have been in business for years at this location. We ordered Grilled Jumbo Shrimp, Grilled Salmon, mashed potatoes and veggies (carrots and zucchini), plus the Hot honey cheesecake. Everything tasted so good! We had house water with our food. We relaxed and enjoyed the vibe. We look forward to our next visit here. Service was great. Our server was Loidel and was attentive and friendly. Parking is by valet or street parking.

Azucar Ice Cream, located in Little Havana, is a vibrant scoop shop known for its inventive and seasonal flavors of artisanal ice cream and sorbet. This family-run establishment takes pride in using all-natural ingredients to create homemade Cuban ice cream with unique flavors like Cafe con Leche, Willy Cherrino, and the signature Abuela Maria. The shop sources locally when possible, incorporating fruits and vegetables from south Florida farmers into their daily creations.
First time to Miami and Little Havana. Daughter took me to Azucar Ice Cream in Little Havana. She said rum and raisin ice cream. Very tasty rum and raisin. Only 2 raisins. But the rum flavour was rum on. Now after writing this review I want more. Nice and creamy and refreshing. Was busy but they know how to serve up the ice cream. Definitely worth the drive to Little Havana and explore all that is offered. Looks like a spot to finish off our trip. Just a bigger serving. Staff were friendly and very clean. Parking is hard to find.

Omg I just had some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had homemade Cuban ice cream oh yeah certified.. I had a coffee con Leche ice cream that had cookies and cream and coffee in it with homemade waffle cones… I sent all the info to my nephew Josh, who is a food reviewer at JosheatsFL so he can come and get some of this amazing ice cream… while you’re down here little Havana make sure… make sure you visit the ball and chain. Have a drink dance a little bit. Everything down here is amazing. Spend the afternoon and little Havana won’t be disappointed.

A good place to get there and have a delicious ice cream, the attention from the girls who were in front was very good. They have several flavor options. A place with our Great Celia Cruz!!! Sugar!!!

The storefront is super cute and the employees were super patient when we asked to test some of the flavors, even though it was pretty busy. It is a little pricey (a scoop is around $7), but I would still recommend getting a taste of this Cuban ice cream. Their most popular flavor is the Abuela Maria which has biscuits, guava, and cream cheese, which was very good. I would definitely recommend stopping by!

WOW, you must try the abuela maria ice cream. It comes with maria cookie chunks, cream cheese, and guava paste. So delicious, so miami. I also got the cafe con leche and it was good!!

I am not that old but regardless, it's the best ice cream I had in my life, there is a wide variety of flavours and toppings, I took the coffee one, take it with a cone as it is homemade and really good. The service was amazing too.

With a giant ice cream sign out front, it's hard to miss. Clearly, it's popular and my eight-year-old daughter loved the Berrygood ice cream. I went for a scoop of the Cookie Monster with brownie and chocolate chip cookie dough and found it below average. It was also $7 for one scoop!

El Palacio de los Jugos is a popular Cuban eatery with multiple locations in Miami, but the original one on Flagler and SW 57th Avenue is highly prized. It's a casual spot that offers classic Cuban comfort food, fresh juices, and sweets. The outdoor stand provides a humble setting where visitors can enjoy Cuban comfort food along with fresh juice from the adjacent market.
This an amazing place! It was introduced by one of my friends who is a local in Miami. Only locals goes there, and most of them speaks Spanish. Despite our ability to speak basic Spanish, they were very helpful & they won’t even take advantage of you because you are a tourist. For example I gave an extra 1 cent for the sugar cane juice, the staff used the calculator to show me the exact amount for the sugar cane juice. They have several locations, we went to the one in Miami. The place is enormous with great Cuban food cafeteria style, I simply loved the vibes, all menus are in Spanish, that’s how you know it is seriously authentic! A complete meal consist of a main & 2 sides. They offer many options of beef, pork, & seafood, the options are endless, so are the sides offered. I think you can go there several times & not have the same meal. They have Cuban sandwiches & empanadas plus a wide variety of juice, my favourite is the freshly squeezed sugar cane. It was so good that while we were in Miami, we went back there several times! Check it out & bring your Goggle Translate with you. You will not regret it!

Good food and good service. I don't recommend the fish soup, it tastes good but has way too much salt. You can get a completa for about $15 or just the main course for $10. They also have Cuban pizza. Outdoor seating only, under a tarp. Informal dining and atmosphere.

What does it feel like to be in a place that doesn’t even feel like the United States? That’s exactly what I experienced during my vacation in South Florida, when I decided to look for some authentic Cuban food in Miami. I plugged the address into the GPS and arrived at this spot... At first glance, the area looked pretty rough — kind of run-down, definitely low-income, and honestly, it felt like I had stepped into a totally different world. And the funny part? Nobody spoke English. Everything was in Spanish — which actually made it feel like I had left the country and landed right in the heart of Havana. But the real surprise came when I stepped inside. The smell hit me right away — in the best way possible. It was incredible. It instantly reminded me of home-cooked meals made with love and tradition. All the food was already prepared and ready to go. I ordered the oxtail, and wow… it was amazing. The flavor, the seasoning, the tenderness — everything was on point. So yeah, maybe from the outside the place doesn’t look like much, but once you’re in, it’s like stepping into a living, breathing piece of Cuba. If you’re looking for real Cuban food, this place will blow your mind

El Palacio de los Jugos on Flagler Street is an absolute must-visit when in Miami. Just minutes from the airport, this landmark location serves up some of the freshest and most authentic Cuban cuisine in the city. The food is incredible — always hot, fresh, and constantly coming out, ensuring there’s always something delicious ready to enjoy. From the perfectly seasoned meats to the vibrant sides and, of course, the fresh juices, everything bursts with flavor and Miami soul. It’s a lively spot full of energy, locals, and travelers alike — the true essence of Cuban hospitality. Whether you’re flying in, flying out, or just hungry for a real Miami experience, El Palacio de los Jugos is the place to be! 🇨🇺🥤🍽️

I love this place it's awesome!! it can be busy at times and it can be hard to order if you don't speak Spanish. But the option and the selections of Cuban food you have are endless! Mignonette Downtown is a popular oyster bar and seafood restaurant located in Miami. Housed in a former 1930s gas station, this eatery offers a mix of luxurious and down-home options. The menu features a variety of seafood dishes, from "plain" choices like oysters, shrimp cocktail, and po'boys to more upscale offerings such as seafood towers and redfish in lobster broth with rock shrimp and bomba rice.
Came on Sunday evening, we were visiting from Georgia, one of our local friend recommended. Ordered 3 kind of Appetizers all was kinda salty, Bread wasn’t warm. The entree are less salty and generous portion. Overall we had a great dinner experience.
Susan V — Google review
What’s not to like about this small, quaint restaurant? The service was lovely. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the host and promptly seated for our reservation on a Monday night. There were a couple of tables dining already, but plenty were still open at 6:30. My two friends and I came in for the MIAMI Spice menu. We were pleasantly surprised to find that most of the menu was available for the selection of the appetizer and entrée. However, the desserts were limited to a choice from a selection of three. We also had to order all three courses upfront. We ordered the deviled eggs, the lobster linguine, and the crab cake as our starters and shared them. All of them were delicious in their own way. Truly, I would’ve been content with the lobster linguine as my main course. For my entrée, I ordered the lobster roll with French fries and broccolini. I adored the citrusy flavor of the lobster, as well as the little kick from the broccolini, and was delighted with the quality of the French fries—golden and crispy. For dessert, the Key lime pie was my favorite of the bunch; however, that was a dissenting opinion. (Everyone else agreed that the bread pudding was the standout.) I will say, I was a little confused about parking because it looked like there was a sign indicating parking toward the back, but I didn’t see anything. So, I opted for street parking, and there was plenty available at that time—although it looked a little sketchy. However, once I parked and entered the restaurant, I quickly forgot about that.

fresh oysters amazing service the only thing is it's a bit noisy but not in a bad way we arrived a bit late And the service was great great selection of oysters do not skip on the scallops with polenta and caramelized onions, also try the octopus really good not only well presented but everything delicious. again everyone customer service was superb
Ppapisimo — Google review
You can immediately tell that this is a chef-driven restaurant the moment you walk in — it becomes clear right away. Both the cozy atmosphere and the way they present their seafood dishes are truly impressive. Although I wasn’t a big fan of the Lobster Linguini, the Charred Octopus is an absolute must-try. It was one of the most tender octopus dishes I’ve ever had in my life. It’s definitely a great hidden spot for a date, though I highly recommend making a reservation in advance. If you don’t get a table in the main dining area, the seating in the back section isn’t quite as enjoyable.

This restaurant is a whole vibe. The food is amazing. I had the octopus, the oysters, the lobster roll, and the deviled eggs. 10/10. Don’t even get me started on the dessert. All around amazing. The service provided by Freddy made the whole experience. He recommended dishes, wine and the dessert as well. Very attentive. I loved this place. Freddy deserves a raise!

Mignonette is a favorite neighborhood joint & recently stopped in during Miami Spice. The deal is incredible as you can practically select from the entire menu rather than a restricted menu. For a 3-course meal, the portions were substantial and we both brought leftover sides home. We really enjoyed the lobster linguini & crab cake appetizers! Being from New England, I could skip the lobster roll but the diver scallops were fantastic & favorite veggie side was the braised cabbage! We will be back soon!
Laurence M — Google review
I’m not sure how on earth this place got any Michelin recognition - my meal here was the most disgusting I’ve ever had in my life. Publix buffet food would have been better. I urge Michelin Guide to re-evaluate this place. I also urge Miami Spice organizers to exclude them from next year’s restaurant roster because what they provided was absolutely false advertising and a complete rip off. Let’s start with the fact that they falsely advertise on the Miami Spice website that you can choose ANY appetizer or entree from their menu, no exceptions. FALSE! It was only when we sat down that the waiter informed us that any steak or seafood towers were not included and that there would be a $20 upcharge on other items, essentially eliminating half their menu. Now, if like me, you drove half an hour thinking you were going to order steak or something else fancy, you’d be sadly disappointed. First, let’s talk about how it took the waiter 20 minutes to take our order while I was starving, and one full HOUR before any food would arrive at our table. I ended up ordering the scallops for an appetizer and it wasn’t scallops plural, but one tiny smooshed undercooked slimy scallop. See pics. I saw our neighbors order the same thing and they got two scallops because they weren’t doing Miami Spice. So they were definitely penalizing and jipping you for actually doing the Miami Spice menu. Hey Mignonette, if you are too cheap to participate in Miami Spice, then don’t do it at all. Then as my entree, I ordered the Grouper w potatoes and Brussels sprouts. I’ve had lovely grouper before (light and flaky) and this was not grouper. If it was, it was the most cardboard-like, tastless, frozen and reheated piece of garbage I’ve ever tasted. I could barely choke it down as hungry as I was. I didn’t think anyone could mess up fingerling potatoes, but Mignonette managed to - the potatoes were undercooked, rock hard and yet also at the same time drenched in cooking oil which tasted like lighter fluid. The Brussels sprouts were equally heinous! Rock hard, uncooked, yet also soggy in cooking oil that hadn’t been changed out for a week. Not sure how they managed to burn the outside of both the potatoes and sprouts to a crisp, but have it raw on the inside. My mom’s snapper was slightly better and I wish I had ordered that instead. The final slap in the face came with dessert. A carrot cake, the saddest, tiniest sliver of frozen store bought carrot cake I’ve ever been served, lacking any taste, not containing any walnuts. Another piece of cardboard masquerading as dessert. Actually, I should say that I’ve had grocery store carrot cake 10x better. Zero ambiance. Looked like an abandoned storefront from the outside with a shady and unsafe gravel parking lot in back. No proper signage outside, I couldn’t even find the restaurant door. Both dining halls were headache-inducingly loud. The floors were so sticky your shoes would stick. Bathroom was something out of a horror movie - absolutely disgusting, I kid you not. I wish I had taken a picture of the toilet seat, which was discolored yellow and pink from 30 years of stains. A new toilet seat costs $17! The managers/owners of this place should be ashamed of themselves. In a city like Miami, in a neighborhood like Wynwood/Edgewater with so many great restaurants, how can they serve this atrocious food in a filthy establishment and have a Michelin mention?!? It’s mind boggling and they must have paid for the fake reviews. I left hungry, angry, and disappointed. Take it from this Yelp Elite, save your time and money and take a hard pass on this place. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

Wow. Thats the only way to start this review. Food was excellent. Service was top notch thanks to Ivan. If you love seafood, this place is a must. I had the seared scallops, wife had the grouper, both were excellent dishes. We had three appetizers; the spicy lobster bisque was delicious, the clams casino with bacon wow, and the crab cakes with Worcester butter sauce were incredible. But honestly it’s the ending that has blown us away. THE key lime pie is the best you’re ever going to have anywhere in the world. We’ve had it in so many places but nothing comes close to this pie. It’s 2pm the day after visiting the restaurant and all day I’ve been thinking of going there just for a piece pie and a glass of white wine. We look forward to visiting again. We tried several Miami Spice restaurants this year but Mignonette got it right. Pick any appetizer, any entree, any desert for the standard $60 everyone in the city is offering. The fact we got to chose anything we wanted made a huge difference.

Doggi's Arepa Bar is a casual spot offering traditional Venezuelan eats, including arepas, burgers, and seafood dishes. The arepas are filled with a variety of ingredients such as chicken, grilled vegetables, churrasco beef, fried plantains, and cheese. These yellow corn exteriors are charred and speckled with grill marks for an authentic taste. The Venezuelan sandwiches are reasonably priced at under $12 each and can be paired with yucca fries and fresh juices.
This restaurant is a true gem! The food tastes just like home-cooked Venezuelan dishes — full of flavor, generous portions, and beautifully presented. The arepas were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the pabellón criollo was delicious and authentic. The staff was welcoming and made us feel right at home. If you want a real taste of Venezuela, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

The Venezuelan food wasn’t really to my taste. Unfortunately, I didn’t like it, but the place itself and the staff were wonderful. As for free parking, it’s pretty much non-existent in the area.
Burak Ö — Google review
The food was phenomenal, the flavor was spot on, the skirt steak on the cachapa was perfectly cooked and had fantastic flavor. The cachapa was exactly what a cachapa is supposed to taste like and it had a good serving of cheese. My girlfriend ordered the Reina pepiada and that has to be the best one we’ve had since moving to Miami from New York a month ago. The one’s we’ve had elsewhere are just mayonnaise and very little ground chicken. This one was full of flavor and shredded chicken (the way it’s supposed to be) which was the main character in the dish. The arepa used for the reina pepiada was as authentic as can be. You could taste the corn in the arepa and it transported me back home. The margaritas were also really good. We had the passionfruit margaritas which weren’t too sweet and had a good flavor and strong in alcohol. Overall, this has to be our new favorite Venezuelan street food and probably one if not the most authentic and best in Miami. Lastly, the service is was quick, accommodating and very friendly. 10/10

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had such an amazing experience at Doggis Arepa Bar on Coral Way! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The arepas were packed with authentic Venezuelan flavor, and everything came out hot and beautifully presented. What really made the visit special was the incredible service. Joleidy, my waitress, was outstanding! She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. She took the time to explain the menu and gave great recommendations — everything she suggested was spot on. I really enjoyed the food at Doggi’s Arepa Bar. I had the arepa pelua and my son had the pabellon criollo, and both were flavorful and satisfying. The atmosphere was nice overall, but the table we chose felt cramped, even for just two people. This was probably because our table was next to the fridge with drinks. There’s a small amount of paid street parking right out front, but getting a spot seems like a matter of luck. Thankfully, there are more paid street parking options just around the corner. Despite the minor inconveniences, the food makes it worth a visit.

Enjoyed the meatloaf a lot, very comforting food and really balanced, I had with freshly made brocolli and potatoes, I'd actually order the entire dish again. The food here is nice and healthy, no random oils on my veg and potatoes were potatoey which I liked, no fillers used. The breakfast menu was thoroughly enjoyed too, stack of pancakes and beef hash, crispy bacon, perfect eggs. Service was great too and the diner looks amazing after it was renovated for the film set. Thank you, definitely recommend and will gladly go back.

Jimmy’s Eastside Diner is a gem! My mom and I had a wonderful brunch here, and the experience was delightful from start to finish. The staff is incredibly friendly, and you’re greeted with uplifting energy by Jesse at the front counter. Once seated, the waiters and waitresses welcome you with warm smiles and friendly faces. The atmosphere of the diner is very homey—nothing fancy, but the space has a wholesome and soulfully filling vibe. The food portions are generous and well-matched to the prices. The quality is consistently great, which is one of the many reasons my family and I come back here often. It can get very busy, especially on Sundays, and you might find yourself waiting for a table. However, the wait usually goes by quickly, and you’ll be seated soon enough. The parking lot is spacious, though it can get packed on Sundays. If the free parking is full, there is street parking a block or two away, but it’s metered. Overall, I highly recommend Jimmy’s Eastside Diner. Quality food, quality service, and a welcoming atmosphere—it’s a place you’ll surely want to return to again and again.

Fine dining restaurant
COTE Miami is a sleek Korean steakhouse in the vibrant city of Miami, offering top-quality beef cuts and fresh vegetables for grilling at your table, along with a selection of cocktails. The restaurant has gained recognition from Michelin, marking a significant milestone for both the establishment and the city itself. This acknowledgment reflects Miami's growing culinary scene, which is attracting international visitors and residents alike.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Cote Miami, a Korean BBQ that delivered a truly unique dining experience. The servers expertly handled the preparation of the dishes right at our table, adding to the interactive charm of the evening. The accompaniments were also delicious, though those sensitive to spice might find some of them a bit intense. The food overall was outstanding, the ambiance elegant with a cool, sophisticated vibe, and the service marked by exceptional attention to detail.
Yesni F — Google review
After several visits to Miami, we were finally able to get a reservation at Cote — it’s a popular spot, so I highly recommend booking in advance to secure a table. The restaurant has an elegant atmosphere, but I wouldn’t suggest dressing too formally, as the meat is cooked right at the table and the smoky aroma tends to linger on your clothes. You can already sense that smoky scent as soon as you walk in, with the aroma of grilled meat filling the space from every table. There’s a bar area where guests wait until their table is ready. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and professional — the level of service is truly excellent. The bar offers a wide variety of cocktails, though some are served from cans into a glass, which was a bit unexpected. The food is plentiful, with a generous selection of meats and side dishes. The meat is grilled at the table, enhanced by the wonderful attention and care of the staff. They also have an excellent wine list. Given that it’s a Michelin-starred restaurant, I was expecting a bit more in terms of flavor balance and the overall presentation. Still, it’s a lovely experience for those who enjoy high-quality grilled meats. I do recommend it.
Juan D — Google review
Good service, the restaurant staff constantly came over to check if everything was okay and if we needed anything. The cocktails were surprisingly delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant and interesting. The food... it's hard to evaluate when the meat is almost all raw and cooked to order, but it was good. We will definitely be back and recommend visiting.

COTE Miami is incredible! The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-tier. The Butcher’s Feast is 100% worth it! every cut of meat was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The staff is super attentive without being overbearing, and the vibe strikes the perfect balance between elegant and lively. Can’t wait to go back!
Nicole C — Google review
I went here for my Birthday and COTE Miami delivers a refined dining experience with standout quality. We opted for the Butcher’s Feast every cut was well-marbled, flavorful, and high quality. While the staff typically grills the meats tableside for you, we chose to cook them ourselves. Even so, the team remained attentive, frequently checking in to offer tips and techniques to help us perfect each cut, a thoughtful touch that elevated the experience. Side dishes and soups were equally impressive and well-balanced. However, despite having a reservation and arriving early, we still experienced a notable wait. The bar lacked seating, and the noise level made conversation difficult not ideal for those seeking a more relaxed or intimate setting. Still, the food and service are undeniably strong. A solid 4-star experience and highly recommended for those looking to enjoy elevated Korean steakhouse dining with a modern twist.
Jane K — Google review
Honestly, this place really impressed me! We thought it was just a regular Korean BBQ spot, but it’s actually a higher-end experience. The menu is unique — you can order combos with different types of meats, and the staff cooks everything for you perfectly. They even explain how to enjoy each item for the best flavor and texture, which makes the whole meal feel really special. There’s also a nice little bar at the entrance, so if you have to wait for your table, you can relax and have a drink first. The staff was super warm and welcoming — they even took the time to chat, ask about the occasion, and make sure we were having a great time. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Miami Beach. Highly recommend!

A next-level dining experience. Attention to detail unmatched. COTE Miami absolutely crushed it. Steak was unbelievable… but the moment that stood out most? Their hospitality. We are in the fruit & vegetable industry, and Bram along with the team picked up on that right away. They surprised us with a custom fruit dessert that showcased what they have in-house. When Bram came by the table, he said “Since you guys have a produce company, we wanted to show you something special.” That level of attention told me everything I need to know about this place. They don’t just serve amazing food. They make every visit feel personal, thoughtful, and elevated. If you want to feel taken care of at the highest level, COTE Miami is the spot. We’ll be back, often.

The pulled pork grilled cheese, 10/10! 🤤 My only regret…that I didn’t get two! 😂 The Mac n Cheese was also exceptional. Perfect comfort meal when you’re needing some soul food!

We found this place during a google search. The food was amazing but the service was horrible. I would have walked out the moment we stepped in, if my kids weren't so hungry. The girl that is suppose to be the host seemed irritated that we were there. When we walked in she just stared at us for sometime be fore we said hi. She handed us our menus from behind the counter. We had to ask if we just sit. Once we picked what we wanted I had to come to her, which she gave a sigh and a huff because she had to put her phone down to do her job. I ordered our food. Apparently she was having issues and had to keep yelling back to the chef to help her input our order. Once back seated she brings our one dish, we had ordered four dishes. We sat waiting for the rest. I walked up to ask about the remaining her response "You ordered didn't you, then it will be out". After a little more waiting turns out she didn't even ring in our entire order. Once we got ALL of our food, the food was delicious. But she made it an unpleasant experience.

Cute food truck serving delicious cheese sandwiches and burgers! I got the smashburger and it was on the smaller side, but perfect for satisfying my hunger. They have a covered table for seating but also perfect for pick up or to enjoy in your car.

By far, one of my favorite spots! The grilled cheese 🧀 😋 😍 sandwich 🥪 was delicioso!! I highly recommend 👌 but please be patient with the service. This is definitely family owned and not a fast food joint. The short Rib is the goto! Love how they put arugula in it, slices through the cheese, and make those taste buds sing. A couple of on-tap selections and bottled beers 🍻 Appreciate your service to the young lady who helped take our service ❤️ Location is definitely off the beatin path, but well worth the visit!! Am definitely coming back to Miami, and you're one of my top comeback visits! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ✨️Fantastico!

Living up to its name this places offers a lot of cheese! We got chili cheese fries, mozzarella sticks, chicken Parm sandwich, and a pesto sandwich all with cheese. Pesto sandwich even had cheese on the outside. Along with the welcoming environment our cashier was very nice. Elijah was polite quick and helpful as we were visiting from out of state. The restaurant even has fun games like checkers, connect 4, and Jenga along with many more. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

I discovered Ms. Cheezious through a search for food trucks and made my long way from South Beach to your current location on NE 4th Ave on a bicycle. I kept saying I hope it's good, because I always hate making long trips. I can't say all was lost because the food was actually pretty decent. But here's my issue. A, this location is in a pretty bad part of town. I'm not scary, but to add to that, this is outside a warehouse and it is literally on the train tracks. I counted at least five trains that passed, super annoying. No ambiance whatsoever, and one little table to eat at. Also, no condiments. Whoever the guy was that was working on 10/23/2025 was also pretty annoying. If I, the customer, greet you with a smile and you ignore me, talking about "how can I help you?" if I hadn't already made the long trip, I should have walked away at that point. Then I observe you going in and out of the warehouse, slamming doors, all the while you are on an apparent phone call cussing and carrying on. I get that maybe you didn't want to work tonight, but deal with it and don't take it out on me. I was being nice and you didn't care, so now I'm checking you. It's y'all's business so do what you want, but it's not professional at all. Customer service and hospitality training would go a long way for you. Then I just found out that you were one of the food vendors that agreed to go out to Alligator Alcatraz. Wow, you know you could have said no, but I guess that you are just greedy. I wish I knew this before I gave you any of my money.

Really nice staff, smile on their faces and this made my day! I order the TEX Mex bowl with steak, the tomatoes were so fresh I got impressed, corn delicious, the sauce was really good, the white rice was bad and the beans nothing special about...the steak has nice flavor, but I wish that had more once I did even eat 1/3 of the bowl and the meat finished... so we had probably 6 pieces of meat there... I understand that for $15 we can't have too much meat, but I wish I was offered to have more and paid for it because was really good. When I arrive, the place had only 1 customer in, but for the time I was waiting about 10min I saw a lot of people coming in and out to get orders. It's great to have places like this in the area.

Al the manager is the guy! He had the biggest smile and was so welcoming as soon as we stepped through the door. He immediately introduced us to their menu. When we came back for a second time, he remembered us and again was so welcoming, he made our night. The burgers were awesome, and very well-priced compared to other burger chains out there. The fries are crispy and seasoned well. Their daily specials are definitely something worth coming for. Worth every penny. We are definitely coming back here, if not for the burgers, we coming to see Al.

First time there and the cashier was very nice and patient. The tostones burger was FIRE! I highly recommend. The Cajun fries were also well seasoned and delicious. The shrimp tex mex bowl was very good. Love the flavors of the shrimp. I’d do it without the pineapples. The vaca Frita was too dry for me and the ranch dressing was like Mayo. That’s what stopped me from giving this place a 5. But I definitely know what and how to order next time! Oh yeah the sauces are also very good.

Clive's Cafe is a beloved Jamaican eatery that has moved from its original Wynwood location to Little River. The restaurant offers homestyle Jamaican dishes such as jerk chicken, curry goat, and oxtail with savory gravy. Despite its unassuming appearance, Clive's is known for serving generous portions at reasonable prices. The menu features a variety of traditional Jamaican fare including curries, salt fish, and conch prepared in different styles.
Nothing like the flavors from Clive’s! Must try if you in Miami have to stop by, best place for jerk pork or chicken and outstanding oxtails. Pearl is an amazing chef will always support this local business the flavors are out of this world.
Mauriett C — Google review
Ordered large curry goat with rice, peas & plantain and 1lb jerk chicken. Overall the food was okay and the flavors were very mild. The jerk chicken tasted more like grilled chicken and the curry goat lacked a depth in flavor. I enjoyed the food because it tasted fresh and wasn’t overly oily, but flavor wise it was underwhelming. 🙏
Selena G — Google review
Walking in it was clean and quiet. I was greeted and serve as I placed the order for pickup around 10am. I paid and left with an order of saltfish, cabbage, and fried dumpling. I've had this order before from other restaurants and this is far the worse representation of this dish. I literally had two little pieces of saltfish which was fried and dried. Which was confusing when the cabbage is steamed. I was definitely starving as I didn't eat prior and drove from north Miami.
Milinda ( — Google review
This is unfortunate that I have to leave an unsatisfactory review. I have been frequenting Clive's for nearly two decades. The last few times I've gotten food from there have been subpar, to say the least. But, this last time was just unacceptable. I took a gamble and ordered the Oxtail, boy, was i dissapointed. For the amount of money they're asking, I'm appalled that this is what they would serve me. Little to no meat. Just dozens of tiny unappealing, broken pieces of "oxtail", which above all else, tasted and had the texture of reheated, watered down leftovers. I was looking to have a nice rare treat, but was left utterly dissapointed. The owners no longer put the love and care into the food that they once did, yesteryear (ne 29th st). My advice....you're taking a gamble...money doesnt grow on trees.

Food is over priced, they say that you’re buying a pound of chicken and it’s a quarter pound. When you complain to them, they say that the system just puts it that way. Also the girl in the front (Britany) has a very ugly attitude, even for a place of inferior quality and character.

Zitz Sum, located in Coral Gables, offers a unique culinary experience with a fusion of Asian, Mexican, Latin American, and Italian influences. The menu features innovative dishes such as the pork in 'phrodo,' a creative blend of dumpling-tortellini served in Japanese dashi broth infused with Parmesan rinds and soy. Another must-try dish is the shrimp har gow served in a stew-like ragout with minced pork and fresh cilantro.
From the moment I stepped into this restaurant, I was transported to a serene, beautifully designed space. The atmosphere was incredibly warm and inviting, with elegant decor that blends traditional elements with a modern twist, almost zen-like environment. The food was absolutely incredible—seasonal, fresh, and full of flavor, the drinks were outstanding as well. This is the kind of place that gets everything right: ambiance, flavor, and experience. Highly recommended.

It’s without a doubt a super creative and delicious restaurant. Both the service and the food are spectacular, with a balanced and delicate fusion of ingredients. The place itself is calm and beautiful—truly a hidden gem in Miami with class and great taste. You definitely need a reservation since it’s a small and popular spot.
Gabriela J — Google review
If you dine in Miami, you know the difficulties there are when deciding on a place to eat. The many (many) options to choose from. Is it actually good, or is it just overhyped? Are the plates Instagram worthy, but not tastebud worthy? However, once you sift through these questions and the array of restaurants you can reserve a table at, you’ll start to find the gems. The places that do good food, good service, and good vibes. Zitz Sum is one of those places. Not surprising of course, given their bib gourmand status. But it’s another thing to actually try the plates that earned this recognition, which you totally should. To start things off, the ambience in the place was great and our waiter was fantastic. He was super knowledgeable about the menu, filled us in on what dishes are new/seasonal (check out my pic of the menu) and which are mainstays, and gave us his recommendations. Lucky for us, nearly everything we were thinking about ordering was similar to the plates he was ready to suggest. We got the bing bread, steak tartar, wahoo crudo, wonton in brodo, and charred cabbage. The bing bread was served hot and soft and the sweet Florida honey butter it came with was divine. The steak tartar was my favorite dish of the night and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. The beef was tender and seasoned well, and the ramen egg it sat in was perfectly chewy and salty. This is a steak tartar like you’ve never had before. The wahoo crudo was unique and I was hesitant at first about the thin banana slice its topped with (I’m not a fan of bananas), but I trusted the process and chef and all the flavors really came together and paired well with each other. The wonton in brodo was my second favorite dish of the night. The broth was flavorful and cozy, I was literally sipping it after all the wontons were eaten. And the wontons itself? Soft and packed with tasty chicken. Finally, the charred cabbage. Don’t sleep on this dish! It was more fulfilling and flavorful than you ever thought a cabbage could be, and the char on it gave it a nice punch of heat. At the end of our meal, we talked other Miami spots with our waiter, exchanged restaurant recommendations, and learned about Zitz Sums’ sister izakaya restaurant (called Dojo, which we will definitely be trying). Zitz Sum is subtle, yet glamorous. It makes you remember how special dining in Miami can (and should) be.

Truly surprising flavor combinations. A culinary delight. Confusing to find (in the FIFA office building), but otherwise a sanctuary of sumptuous food and courteous service. Thank you, Maynor, for your kindness! Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but do check out the flatbread, which was unexpected and unforgettable.
Shirin R — Google review
While each dish was ambitious, none of them came together. The Scallops were taken away from by the other ingredients, the cabbage was hard, one of the chickens was ok, the other way over salted. The dumplings were below average while the sauce was decent, the truffle dumplings were good though way overpriced as was everything, like the $16 breads. The rock shrimp curry rice was not good. The steak tartar was ok. The cucumber dish was ok though tiny. Was excited coming in, left feeling we hit an off night. Every dish needed a serving utensil, had to ask for one to be brought almost every time a dish was dropped off. The restaurant was hard to find. Just under $100 pp. Probably won’t ever come back
Brian Z — Google review
Dinner here was an absolute delight! The restaurant is moody and elegant, and the ambiance is casual not overly loud. The server we got was really attentive, very good service. And the food was just delightful! The koshihikari rice was one of my favorite dishes, it was everything I’ve never expected but always wanted in rice! The bing bread was so good too! The scallops were delicate and delicious, the fish was exquisite and the wontons in brodo super flavorful yet delicate. Loved the crunch of the Japanese French toast too. The cocktails were amazing! I don’t remember what mine was called but I had like 4! So good! Def give this place a try

I went to Zitz Sum on a date with my girlfriend last night. I believe our waitress’s name was Michelle, and she was so wonderful. Special shout out to all the staff at this restaurant for being really amazing. We had the tasting menu and a lot of the courses were very good. The wontons in particular were amazing. I wish the portions were a bit bigger since the food is so good, but I understand a lot of it is for presentation which is really amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a really quiet and unique dinning experience in Coral Gables. Very good restaurant which is propelled by the excellent staff. Oh and the French Toast was a pretty excellent dessert.

Absolutely incredible experience. Caroline, the bartender, was amazing—so welcoming, helpful, and passionate about what she does. The concept having corn in every dish sounded great and set some expectations. Service was attentive and handled everything great. However, for me the dishes were missing some edges and spikes. The corn dumplings, the butter of the Yuca Flatbred or the Mole from the Tamal had these but overall the flavors were too blended and dishes had one general taste. In addition, the Tamal was served just slightly warm, but it didn't feel like it was on purpose. If you're looking for bold flavor, this might not be your place, if your looking for subtle style of flavor combinations give it a try.

We were missing cdmx so much that we wanted some real authentic Mexican food. Overall, food was okay but service was great! We had a few dishes to share. The highlight for me were the dumplings and honey yuca flatbread. Not a fan of the seafood dishes, unfortunately. Both the tacos, and tortillas were okay. Can’t compare to what we had in cdmx 😝 definitely recommend outdoor seatings!

Pricey for what it is!

This place was a disappointment. Despite our excitement, it fell short of our expectations and turned out to be one of the worst food experiences we've had in Miami. The service was pleasant, with a friendly waiter and hostess. However, the food was a letdown. The portions were small, and the corn motif was overused. We ordered five appetizers from the appetizer section, all of which were cold and unappetizing. Two of the main courses were also lackluster. The lobster, swimming in a terrible-tasting sauce, was the worst thing I've ever eaten. We also ordered a pork dish, which was just as bad. We canceled the second dish and asked for the check. They offered us dessert on the house, but we were too tired to eat and declined. Overall, we had a terrible experience and will not be returning or recommending this place.

The Salty Donut, a popular Miami-based donut shop, is teaming up with Portland's Salt & Straw for a special Valentine's Day collaboration. They have created a limited-time pint pack featuring five exclusive flavors that will be available for national shipping through Salt & Straw's website. The donut shop offers a top-notch selection of unique and ever-changing flavors, including options like vegan carrot cake and pumpkin brown butter.
I stopped by there one morning on my way north to try out donuts. As I travel I always stop at local shops to get donuts. I’d never had Salty Donut before. I always try a “simple” classic and one that is fancier. They have a deal where you buy 4 it is cheaper so I got a few. All were delicious. Made with fresh ingredients and melted in my mouth. The service was quick and efficient. Top notch! What surprised me most was that the cinnamon sugar donut, which is my go to at all shops, was vegan. I was skeptical at first - but it was as good as all the other regular donuts! It’s now my go to when I visit Salty!

Phenomenal donuts. You really get what you pay for. Each one tastes like a completely different dessert you would get from a sit down restaurant. Not simply a "blank" flavored donut. Most are large. The filled ones are HEAVY with filling 😋 From left to right cookies n cream, Samoa, key lime pie, Nutella, salted brown butter (my favorite), guava and cheese. One word DECADENT!

I told him , I needed something to wake me up . He made his recommendations and I got an ice coffee and a min keylime donut . I told him I was taking a big teaching test shortly . He was AMazing!!! He checked on me about my coffee and donut . Then I overheard him tell his co workers how he hoped I passed my test . I told him thank you ! He was like “ we need teachers so I really hope you do well .” I loved my coffee and the donut . To be honest there was nothing mini about that donut . It was smaller than the others but definitely mighty . The filling tasted just like a keylime pie . I genuinely enjoyed it but what made my visit so extra special was John’s customer service . When I left he wished me luck and even told me to come back and let him know if I passed my test . He was like you just got to believe that you already passed. I feel like I ended up at the right place before my test , with a genuinely happy and positive person . I passed my test! I went back to tell him but he had already gone for the day . I hope the owners see this review and that I got the right name . You have an amazing employee . I got way more than a coffee and donut . I got a great customer service experience, that now I will positively always remember. Those state exams make you really nervous and his positivity made a difference. By the end two other workers even wished me luck . Thank you John, for going above and beyond !

Dessert shop
Night Owl Cookies has been serving up their over-the-top, made-to-order cookies for quite some time now. Initially available only for delivery, they can now be picked up at various locations including the Design District and North Miami. These monstrous treats come in a variety of flavors such as Nutella-stuffed with chocolate drizzle or white chocolate chip topped with Fruity Pebbles cereal. With their expansion to different areas, more people can indulge in these delectable desserts.
I was honestly surprised (in a good way!) by how late this place stays open—most dessert spots close way too early, so this was a win. I had added Night Owl Cookies to my must-visit list when in Miami’s and it totally lived up to the hype. Even at 9 PM, the selection was fully stocked and the cookies were served warm and fresh—just how they should be. The design and vibe of the shop are super cool, and the service was solid too. Definitely a cool spot to bring the kids or to grab a late-night treat if you’re in the area. It’s got that “sweet tooth heaven” energy. Will be back for sure!

Was really excited tonight (Aug. 1, 2025) that I decided to order some Night owl’s famous and delicious cinnamon rolls. Which I wanted to share amongst myself and my kids. So instead of taking a trip there, I decided to order them off of Uber eats. So I did that, and the order finally got to my location. My mouth was just watering with excitement and couldn’t wait to indulge in them. But as soon as I got to the kitchen counter and set them down and open the box. I realized that the outer part of the cinnamon rolls were a little more darker than normal. So I turned one of them over and seen that one was burnt. I was furious to see that one looking like that. Which made me check all of them the same way. All was burnt….SMH!! Who ever decided to just throw those cinnamon rolls in the box, and felt like it was okay to service a paying customer those looking like that, needs to get fire. And have a long sit down about food quality. And what that means to a business, and especially for customers. Which is what makes any business thrive. That was such a disappointment for me because I spent my hard earned money on this. And now me and my kids couldn’t even enjoy this experience tasting the rolls. I just know if it was the other way around, they wouldn’t be so pleased of paying for poor / trash quality cinnamon rolls. Acts like this really gives businesses a bad reputation and name when you have employees that don’t care about customers, and living up to standards in a work environment. I don’t think I want to order during the night shift. Because whoever that was working tonight between the hours of 8pm-9pm really don’t care what they give out to the customers. Hope this doesn’t to anyone else. All I know is tonight we don’t have any cinnamon rolls to eat due to some idiot giving us burnt rolls

I’m obsessed! The cookies are so good, especially the one with Dubai chocolate and kataifi. It’s on another level. The place is super cute, perfect to go with family, and the service is okay not amazing, but not bad either. They’re quick, and honestly, the flavor makes up for everything. Totally worth it!

What are better cookies than Crumble Cookies??? Of course! Each one very different but very tasty. Literally, mine were given to me warm. So more than recommended and if I come back??? Obviously yes!

Night Owl Cookies was such a great experience! Madi was our server and she provided excellent customer service from start to finish. She really knew her stuff when it came to the cookies there were so many delicious options to choose from, and she helped us narrow it down. She even asked if we wanted to know what was in each cookie, which made it easier to decide. Since I came in with my family, she recommended the 4-pack so we could all try different flavors, and it was perfect. The cookies were amazing, and Madi made the whole experience even better! Highly recommend.

Tâm Tâm is a unique Vietnamese restaurant in Downtown Miami that offers an exciting and fun dining experience with a nostalgic ambiance. The restaurant features worn wood paneling and a bathroom with disco karaoke vibes, creating a lived-in yet vibrant atmosphere. Initially starting as a pandemic project, Tâm Tâm now serves creative and shareable Vietnamese dishes in its brick-and-mortar location.
Had a great experience at Tam Tam Miami. The oysters were beautiful and incredibly flavorful, and the scallop crudo was delicious—light, fresh, and tasty enough to sip like a soup thanks to the sauce. The fish sauce wings were amazing—crispy, savory, and perfectly balanced. The mushrooms were decent, though a bit lacking in flavor compared to the other standout dishes. I wrapped up with the cheesecake, which was sweet and satisfying—not traditional Vietnamese, but still a great finish. Overall, the service was attentive and warm, and I appreciated the creative take on Vietnamese flavors.

Atiya is a great waitress and helped me out with my allergies. Genesis was also wonderful. They are great at helping with allergies just make sure if they bring something out you can’t have let them know and they will take it back and bring you the perfect dish. The food is delicious and they are an allergy friendly place. Highly recommend!

Fantastic flavorful restaurant. Everything we ordered had great flavors that often surprised and delighted with the combinations. They were very accommodating for vegetarians and suggested substitutions and changed popular dishes. The service is friendly and the ambiance is fun. I highly recommend!

Everything was good. Great drinking food as everything is tasty; however, I thought the ribs had a little too much sauce. Frog legs and lotus salad were favorites.
CHANG N — Google review
This place is incredibly good, so I’ll definitely return to try the other half of the menu. For walk-ins, be prepared to sit outside and wait. You can order a drink while you wait, which makes the wait more bearable. Highly recommended. In my opinion, it’s one of the top five restaurants in Miami.
Carolina P — Google review
The food overall was good, with some interesting and creative ingredient combinations. My favorite dish was the pomelo scallops salad/ceviche — bright, refreshing, and very well-executed. However, I personally feel the rankings and hype around this restaurant are a bit overrated. While the ambiance was nice and the place was clearly popular, it felt quite busy and rushed, as if they were eager to turn over tables quickly. It reminded me of dining experiences in NYC, where you're often limited to a strict time window. This isn’t the kind of spot where you can relax over a leisurely dinner with drinks and conversation; it’s more of an "eat and go" atmosphere. A good meal overall, but not the special, lingering experience I was hoping for.
Mariya O — Google review
Tam Tam in downtown Miami Beach is a beautiful spot with decor that really takes you back in time. The whole bronzino was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. I also really enjoyed the shrimp crudo very fresh and delicious, though it might be a bit spicy for some. The escarole was packed with flavor, but I do wish the kitchen had paid closer attention to an allium allergy we mentioned; there were a few simple ways they could have adjusted the garnishes. Unfortunately, I got very sick after dinner, which was disappointing. That said, the food overall was truly wonderful and full of bold flavors.
John G — Google review
I guess the buzz is true about this place cause the food was on point! Went here with my friends and my sister, who was visiting from Manila. It's not a big place or glamorous, but we loved the retro decor. There's also ample seating, but I highly suggest making advanced reservations about a couple of weeks or so if you have 4 to 5 people. They also offer bar top seating, but I think it's also by reservation only. At 6pm when they open, there are already people waiting patiently to be seated. We were a part of 5, and that's the biggest group they were able to accommodate. 6 is possible but very tight, according to the hostess. And the main reason why this place is so popular and gets fully booked is because of the food and service. Elevated Vietnamese street food, which we were very impressed with. Trust me, our group is very well versed with Vietnamese cuisine cause 2 of my good friends are Vietnamese. We definitely loved this place, starting from the appetizers, to the main course and the shared dessert (because we were so full). The dishes are kinda like tapas style, but very well executed, and the portions were enough to share with everyone. We doubled up on the ribs because they were just so tasty, but we also highly recommend the goat curry noodles. And also, if you're adventurous enough, gotta try the frog legs. For the veggie lovers, you can't go wrong with the Lotus Root Salad. Simply fresh and marvelous! What we ate: GOAT CURRY WITH EGG NOODLES SALT AND PEPPER FROG LEGS SCALLOP POMELO GOI TAMARIND GLAZED PORK RIBS LOTUS ROOT SALAD TAM TAM WINGS NHAU BONE MARROW GOAT CURRY THAI TES TRES LECHES

Located in the heart of Brickell, Tobacco Road by Kush Hospitality Group is a bar reminiscent of old Miami. The menu has great bar food, and the cocktails are excellent. The 50% pop up, 50% homage concept means that the restaurant is open for a limited time only before moving on to another location.
Great veggie burger and veggie nachos. The environment was inviting and we had a great late night dinner and drinks. The check came in a DVD holder- Kenny powers. Eclectic collection of things, but really cool. Would definitely recommend going there.

İt is a cool place to quick eat and go but the bartender are definitely not friendly. I was expecting anywhere like this would be a local bar and be more friendly
Banu E — Google review
We had visited their sister restaurant LoKal in Coconut Grove and absolutely loved their burgers and vibe, so when we were in Brickell, we decided to check out Kush Brickell. We just walked in on a whim for lunch, no reservations needed, and were seated right away. No lines or haters here, just a welcoming spot that felt like a natural extension of what we enjoyed at LoKal. ATMOSPHERE: This place channels a fun, retro Miami vibe with nods to the historic Tobacco Road bar it’s reviving: think speakeasy-era decor, lively energy, and a mix of communal tables and bar seating for about 40-50 people. It’s cozy yet buzzing, with music that’s upbeat but not overwhelming, and a casual, hipster-casual crowd. Perfect for a laid-back lunch in Brickell. MENU: Burgers are the star, alongside sandwiches, wings, salads, and appetizers. They’ve got a solid selection of craft beers, cocktails like margaritas, and even some Miami-inspired twists. It’s all about elevated pub fare with local flair. They also feature homemade hot sauces for that extra kick. FOOD: Margaritas We started with their house margaritas, which were refreshing and well-balanced, not too sweet, with a nice tart lime edge and quality tequila. They hit the spot on a warm Miami afternoon and paired perfectly with the spicy food to come. Solid choice for anyone looking for a classic cocktail done right. Death Burger This was the highlight and why we came. Topped with jack cheese, sautéed onions, jalapeños, sriracha, and spicy mayo on a juicy patty, it had the perfect amount of spice, fiery but not overpowering, with layers of flavor that built with each bite. The burger was cooked to medium as requested, super fresh, and came with crispy fries on the side. We amped it up further with their homemade hot sauce, which added an additional kick of heat and tanginess without overwhelming the dish. If you’re a spice lover, this is a must-try; it ranks up there with some of the best burgers we’ve had in Miami. SERVICE: No reservations, but we were seated quickly on a weekday. The waiter was super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, our server recommended the Death Burger based on our love for LoKal’s offerings. Food came out fast and hot. TIPS: Check the full menu inside, as the one outside might not list all the burger variations or specials. If you’re sensitive to spice, ask about adjusting the heat levels, they’re flexible. Parking in Brickell can be tricky, so consider rideshare or valet nearby. OVERALL: Was it worth the visit? Absolutely. Kush Brickell delivers on the promise of its sister spot LoKal with killer burgers, solid drinks, and a fun atmosphere that’s pure Miami. We’ll be back for more.

Yeah, I wont be coming back to the Brickell location. It is so sad because my family and I has been loyal to this restaurant for many years in the Wynwood location. I am so sad that the Wynwood location has been closed for a year. My family and I has had the food truck (which is awesome, btw) I came here because I had a craving and wanted to sit in with the good vibes but, I didn’t feel it at the Brickell location. My gut feeling felt like my family and I wasn’t even welcomed there! Don’t worry guys, we won’t be back! The waitress was super nice. Because of her I gave four stars. We are thankful for serving us! ❤️🙌 The food wasn’t presented the way the Wynwood location do it. Not the same at all but we all enjoyed it. Once the Wynwood location open we will finally be back every week/ month and can’t wait to see all our friends /staff back ❤️🙌 See you soon, Wynwood.

We were in Miami for the weekend for a girls trip. We were heading towards Brickell to do some shopping when it started to rain, we were peckish and looking for a cocktail and ducked into Kush. Our server/bartender Tony greeted us and brought over some towels so we could dry off a bit and then offered us some samples of their own beer which was amazing! He recommended their bang bang shrimp which is one of my favorite dishes and it was incredible, one of the best I've ever had. All of the food and drinks were a really reasonably priced and delicious. I got the employee meal as my main which was like a grilled caesar with grilled/sauteed veggies and it was so good, I wish more places offered dishes like that. There are so many dining options in Miami and we were really lucky to have stumbled into Kush. Tony was so kind and helpful and really made our random by chance lunch a special experience. I would absolutely make it a point to go back if and when I'm next in Miami.

Kush Brickell was a pleasantly surprising find for me while looking for a sports bar to hunker down in for a couple hours. The food was excellent, the service was great, and the atmosphere was nice with live rock music and sports on the TV's above the bar. My server recommended the Collier County Chicken sandwich, with mushroom & peppers side, and it was delicious. I even enjoyed getting my check in a DVD case of one of my favorite movies, School of Rock! For parking I recommend the Brickell Place shopping mall garage which is only 1 block away.
Tony F — Google review
I had one of the worst bar experiences ever at this place in Brickell. The bartender was by far the rudest person I’ve ever encountered in a bar. After how he spoke to me, I immediately decided I wasn’t going to spend a single dollar there. For the friends who did order drinks, the service wasn’t any better — the bartender just threw the receipt at them to sign without saying a word. No “thank you,” no “enjoy,” nothing. On top of that, they automatically add a 20% gratuity. Seriously? Who would feel good about tipping after being treated like that? Especially when there are so many other bars in the area that actually value their customers. The place felt cheap and unprofessional. The bartender (a short guy with tattoos, a hat, a mustache) had no interest in working — unless a song he liked came on, and then he’d jump around and scream like he was the main event. Totally embarrassing and unprofessional. Save yourself the time, energy, and money — there are way better bars in Brickell that actually deserve your business.

ViceVersa Miami is an Italian aperitivo bar with a talented team that ensures impeccable service. The menu features fantastic Neapolitan pizzas, crudo, and gelato, along with a variety of negroni variations. Valentino Longo and his team impress with highlights like clam pizza, flatbread with stracciatella, beef carpaccio, and tuna tartare.
We went to Vice Versa in Miami based on a recommendation from our hotel and wow, what a surprise! This place is amazing. The service was flawless, the drinks were on point, and the pizza… hands down one of the best I’ve ever had (the clam pizza was so good we actually went back just to have it again). IMPORTANT TO READ If you are celebrating your birthday at this restaurant, bringing your own cake might not be the best option. I made a reservation for my birthday based on a friend’s recommendation. The service, environment, and food were all excellent very enjoyable experience overall. However, here is the issue: I brought my own cake (pavlova) to celebrate my birthday. The staff said they could store it and charge $5 per piece cut. I agreed, as it seemed fair. When the server brought the cake pieces for our party of 5, we only received about a quarter of the cake total, and then the cake was returned to us with half of the cake missing. We clearly did not eat that much. It feels like the extra portion was taken without our knowledge, which was very disappointing after such a positive dining experience. This kind of handling feels unprofessional and unethical. I am sharing this review to make others aware and hope the management addresses this issue, as it may not be something they are aware of. Images attached: 1. Whole new cake 2. Small pieces served to each person 3. Cake returned — half missing Draw your own conclusions.

Really fun place. Limited menu, but worth it! Drinks menu is very creative. We started with an orange flavored margherita made with seltzer water. Very tasty. We then had a fennel salad which was spectacular! The other starter was some sort of pasta filled with ricotta and some very tasty sauce. Then the main course was a spicy pepperoni pizza. Desert was a pistachio gelato. Delicious!!! Overall, we really enjoyed it. Had a fun crowd and the service was very attentive. We will definitely be back. Only word of caution, this is right across from Bayfront Park and the Kaseya Center. There was a concert or something going on, making traffic super congested.

Lived up to my expectations, period. Really cool concept and a must try. The pizza dough is to die for, I could eat it everyday. ViceVersa will definitely be in the rotation whenever I visit Miami.

ViceVersa in downtown Miami absolutely lives up to the hype—and its spot on the Michelin list as one of the best bars in the U.S. is well deserved. I’ve been to bars all over the world, and this one stands out for its originality. Inspired by Futurism, the 1930s art movement, they bring the concept to life through their menu, cocktails, and design. The bartenders are top-notch—friendly, skilled, and fast—and the drinks are seriously next level. I had a Negroni (they offer a few takes on it), and it was perfection. The food is also incredible, with real Italian soul. The vibe? Laid-back and stylish, like a hidden gem in Manhattan—but right here in Miami. Music, retro atmosphere, and true creative identity make it a spot I’ll keep coming back to.

September ‘25 This spot was on my list to go, but I wasn’t planning to go on this trip. My server at L’Atelier told me the burgers here are top 5 so I’m like alright guess I’ll go. They only serve burgers on Monday, and they won’t have their happy hour specials on this day. Italian Vice ($16): def refreshing. I’m not a huge fan of vodka sodas but this was definitely good. I would get it again. It wasn’t overly carbonated tasting. Burger ($20): it was good but def messy. My entire lower bun basically disintegrated due to the liquid lol…. Brucio in Bocca ($17): their version of a spicy marg; I asked the bartender to pick this drink for me and I liked it. It went well with the food I got. I normally would not have picked it myself. Didn’t give me spicy marg vibes tbh. Wagyu Carpaccio ($25): I saw all the reviews saying this was a must get. Maybe I got a dud but I felt like the bread didn’t go well with the meat. Bread was kinda stale tasting and hard. The meat was also not flavorful, kinda bland, but at the same time super salty. I would def not get this again. Affogato Martini ($18): I love trying desserty drinks so I HAD to get this even tho I don’t really like espresso. There’s a scoop of pistachio gelato and there’s supposed to be notes of toasted coconut as well. Def tasted bitter like espresso before mixing the gelato in. After mixing, it tasted like straight up soy milk to me. Wouldn’t get again lol

ViceVersa is recommended by the MICHELIN Guide and mentioned in 50 Best as one of the best bars in North America.  I had to go whilst in Miami. A very small venue located in the lobby of The Elser Hotel Miami.  I loved the dark wood and rich green walls enhanced with pops of colour from framed art which gave it a sultry moodiness.  The bar was buzzing when I went. You can either book a table in advance online if you plan on eating or walk-in like I did.  Bar counter seating is usually available for walk-ins and offers the full menu. I waited around twenty minutes before I got a seat. The bartender was lovely. I would definitely recommend trying one of the many cocktails. There is a lot of choice.  If you are unsure what to have, let the bartender know your preferences like I did. She suggested the perfect cocktail for me.  I had the 'PARTHENOPE' which was very refreshing with a slight hint of spice.  I didn't want something with too much alcohol.  I had to have a pizza which is highly recommended on the MICHELIN Guide and by others as one of the best in Miami.  I went with the margherita.  It was really good, a crispy, thin Neapolitan-style pizza.  I couldn't finish it and took the rest to go.  Nice cocktail, good pizza, loved the atmosphere and good service.  My small negative was that the bar seating is quite tightly packed and everyone was ordering food and drinks, it was a bit of a struggle finding room for plates and glasses. Food comes out quickly once you order.  Would recommend for sure.

Guests can easily claim their spot while ordering at the register inside, where friendly staff are ready to assist you in selecting the perfect bottle of wine to complement your meal.
Very cool and super delicious. Yummy appetizers and pizza. Love the patio, can’t wait to go back. They have this amazing clementine Italian soda too that is a must get. Their special Pilsner beer (made for them!) is really good too.

Miami keeps stepping up their pizza, and I don't know how Bar Bucce did it, but they brought it to a new level with this margarita pizza. The crust is super thin and crispy without being burnt, and I was baffled at the flavor that came from the sauce and cheese; you can tell they don't just use "standard ingredients they thought about the composition of the dish as if it were to be served in the highest rated establishments in the country. You finish your pizza and can't imagine how they can complement it with dishes of equal caliber, and then you cut open the crispy Aranchini shell.
George P — Google review
Bar Bucce has the best Pizza pie I have yet to encounter in miami. Perfect crust, sauce, texture and flavor profile. The addition of the spicy pepper salsa on your table, or the garlic shake is not necessary, but a very welcome addition, as it adds a whole new level of flavor to the experience. The staff seemed attentive, the bartender especially. But, the server that was on when we visited was not very attentive. Even with a 20% gratuity, 15% of which is tacked on automatically. We only saw him for the delivery, and then two glasses of ice water.
Ronald C — Google review
Really cool spot, good vibes both indoor and outdoor. Pizza is very good and the appetizers as well. The pizza is not classic neapolitan, it’s a bit more crunchy and one pie is just enough for two people. Wine and drinks feel way overpriced. Cocktails were not so great.
Santiago G — Google review
The restaurant was truly a great experience. The service stood out — the bartender was incredibly warm and helpful, offering recommendations that turned out to be spot on. The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming, though Miami’s heat can make it tough to enjoy the outdoor space for too long, even after 8 PM. Now, the pizza… absolutely spectacular. Some of the best flavors I’ve had in a long time. We ordered a Margherita and added mushrooms and stracciatella — delicious, but it came out to $60 for a 16” pizza, which feels a bit steep, even for Miami. Aside from the pricing, everything else was excellent. I’d still recommend it for the quality and vibe, just know what to expect on the bill.

A great addition to the Little River area offering casual, authentic Italian comfort food! During the lunch hours they sell slices and that was a great option to try a few pizza types for our first time. Highly recommend the margarita pizza, arancini, homemade focaccia, & mozzarella! Plenty of covered, well-ventilated outdoor seating which is perfect for the summer! Best part: they have a bottle shop/market inside offering classic Italian products that you can’t find anywhere else - highly recommend!

a fantastic atmosphere - the vibe, design, and overall ambiance really stand out. It gives off that chic Italian bottega feel, where you dine in and also shop for curated goods like quality wines, and other Italian pantry staples. The food was good and beautifully presented. The charcuterie board was generous and well-balanced, and the freshly baked focaccia looked and smelled incredible. Pizza was OK in my opinion, good but not mind blowing. That said, while everything was enjoyable, the flavors didn’t quite hit that 5-star level for me, especially considering the price point, which felt a bit high. it’s a great spot for a leisurely lunch or to grab a gourmet gift. I will probably come back- maybe more for the experience and the vibe than just the food alone.

Steak house
Smith & Wollensky in Miami Beach is a standout steakhouse known for its prime, dry-aged steaks, seafood, and wine. The restaurant offers exceptional service and perfectly cooked steaks and sides. What sets this location apart is its stunning views, making it a perfect spot for any occasion. The cozy indoor seating and outdoor space provide a charming ambiance, while the second-floor al fresco bar overlooks the bay.
Chose this amazing place for my birthday dinner. Facing the skyline of Miami, located on the water front...this is an ideal place for dinner. Sitting is comfortable with inside and outside options. They have elaborate menu and servers are helpful with recommendations. Smiling team and delicious food. U also have great choice of wines. The place oozes finesse and makes you feel special.

Fantastic experience at Smith & Wollensky in Miami Beach. We were seated inside, which was very comfortable and elegant. The food was excellent, our steaks were perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the service was attentive and professional throughout. (See pic.) They do have beautiful outdoor seating with waterfront views, but it’s first-come, first-served and not available for reservation, so be prepared to wait if you want to sit outside. Highly recommend for great food, excellent service, and a polished dining experience.

Our dinner at Smith & Wollensky – Miami Beach was nothing short of unforgettable. The food was outstanding — perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every dish we tried was a hit, from the seafood tower(must have) to the steaks and sides. What truly made the night special, though, was the incredible service. Miguel and Marco went above and beyond to make our evening perfect. Their warm hospitality, thoughtful recommendations, and attention to detail elevated the entire experience. Thanks to them, this turned out to be the best night of our trip to Miami. If you're planning a visit, I highly recommend requesting Miguel and Marco as your servers — they’ll make your evening one to remember. We can’t wait to come back!

Food was excellent. I had Crab cake and the New York strip steak, 16 oz, it was amazingly tasty, juicy and good! The grancake had very nice acid sauce on side, that was giving great hit for the dish. I was sitting outside, with beautiful riverside view to rhe city skyline. It was really worth of coming.

I have been procastrinating trying out this place for the longest time and I finally went..we showed up without any reservations and were given a table with an awesome view. It was too hot to seat outside. The attention to detail from every staff member is superb. Wine selection was very good and the food was delicious. After checking this from my bucket list , it is now on my list of places to visit again.

The day of eating at a Top-level steak house has come again. We were very excited this morning because we have been waiting for a week and finally we can eat top-quality steaks again. A steak will cost at least 100 to 200 US dollars, so we dare not take risks and choose randomly. At present, the choice of restaurant must be a national chain or even a famous foreign chain restaurant. Even if the local steakhouse has high reviews, it may be there are too many tourists and there are more opportunities to score, so we have to choose carefully. This one is the designated restaurant for the richest man in the United States, Buffett, to dine with others. The higher the grade of the restaurant, the more luxurious the decoration. Sometimes the lights look dim, and the people sitting inside seem to be upper-class people. They all order a glass of wine. Today's restaurant has indoors that meet our requirements, but the outdoor dining area is more Latin American in style, so we are very cautious. We ordered a medium-rare wet-aged rib-eye steak, and told him that 70% was raw beef. We showed the waiter a steak doneness comparison chart, but he brought the steak that was almost medium. Luckily, we sent it back immediately after cutting it, otherwise it would have been like the steak we had at Morton's that day, which was like a rock. We explained it very clearly when ordering, so they had nothing to say and immediately replaced it with a new one. However, we were a little careless this time. Although the steak he replaced was medium-rare, delicious and oily, it was thinner and smaller in size. In fact, we had taken pictures before, and we should have asked him to give us a full portion then and there. Maybe we are too kind to others in normal times and didn't think of this. When we got home, we didn't feel full, so we realized something was wrong. In the past month, we have eaten at four top-level steak houses, and the portion was more than enough each time, but this time replaced one was a little less./250924

Had the most amazing time at Smith and Wollensky outside bar. Our server/bartender was William and he recommended the Angry Shrimp… OMG they were fantastic!!! We also had their chocolate cake that was amazing! I enjoyed my time there and will definitely go back to see William at the outside bar. He’s GREAT and the vibe at the bar is fun!!

Seriously great food at a seriously wonderful location, facing the beautiful Fisher Island and Downtown Miami. Have a meal outside (especially in the evening) and enjoy the fabulous food alongside the beautiful setting. Sun-set time is especially recommended. Everything we ate was delicious and meticulously prepared.

Cuban restaurant
Restaurant
La Carreta is a laid-back Cuban eatery with several locations in South Florida, known for its authentic and consistent Cuban cuisine. The Little Havana location is famous for its vibrant rooster statue outside. The restaurant offers classic Cuban dishes like ropa vieja and picadillo, as well as specials throughout the week. La Carreta serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a weekend breakfast buffet that features traditional Cuban favorites.
La Carreta is a total gem. The portions are huge, the prices are great, and the food is full of flavor. Cocktails are just $11 – and they’re actually really good! It’s honestly worth taking a taxi just to eat here. The atmosphere is warm and lively, and while I can’t remember our server’s name, the service was outstanding. If you want a satisfying meal that feels like a great deal, this is the place.

Been here Twice so far for Bruch and there sandwiches don't miss. The Media Noche and the Calle Ocho hit every time. The café Cubano is on point. Juices are fresh. Chill atmosphere with the locals. Prices were right on.

As always the food was delicious! Service was very fast! Looks a little old and worn but somehow it’s part of the charm. We had bistec empanisado, media noche and croqueta preparada. The Cuban coffee is always a must! I highly recommend visiting.

La Carreta Miami is a true gem! The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious—comforting, flavorful, and exactly what we needed after a long day out in the sun and water. They offer a wide variety of dishes and sides, and everything tasted like it was made with care and love. A must-visit for anyone craving authentic, satisfying Cuban food!

Staff is very friendly and nice, they will give you great recommendations. The food was okay, nothing extraordinary, except for the lamb that was excellent according to my husband. Service is a bit slow, but nothing crazy. My children got the chicken breast and said they liked it. We had a good time.

I’ve been coming to La Carreta since I was a kid with my parents, and now I get to bring my own kids here. The food is always amazing and authentic, and the service is top-notch every single time. This place truly captures the authentic Cuban experience. I absolutely love it here!

Asian restaurant
KYU Miami is a trendy Asian-inspired restaurant located in the vibrant Wynwood neighborhood. Chef Michael Lewis skillfully combines Asian flavors with Southern barbecue techniques, resulting in an exciting and approachable menu. The dishes showcase a perfect balance of salt, acid, and spice, reflecting the chef's expertise from cooking with Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The diverse menu features beautifully executed pan-Asian cuisine cooked on a wood-fired grill, using locally-sourced and environmentally-conscious ingredients.
We visited KYU Miami on a Sunday afternoon for brunch with the family and had an excellent experience from start to finish. We arrived around 3 PM and were seated immediately — a huge plus, especially in a busy area like Wynwood. The fact that they offer valet service right out front is incredibly convenient and appreciated, considering how hectic parking can be in the neighborhood. Once inside, we were welcomed and seated at a comfortable table. Our server promptly presented both the brunch and lunch menus, giving us a variety of options. We ordered several brunch dishes, all of which were packed with flavor and beautifully presented. Every item exceeded our expectations. We also went with the bottomless mimosas — and our server was kind enough to let us know they end at 4 PM, which we appreciated. She made sure we had as many refills as possible during our time, providing attentive and friendly service without rushing us. The ambiance was relaxed yet vibrant, making it a great spot for families. Between the excellent service, flavorful food, and smooth logistics (especially valet), KYU delivered a standout experience. We’ll absolutely be back.

KYU Miami absolutely blew us away. Every dish was vibrant, balanced, and incredibly fresh, the kind of flavors that make you stop in the middle of a conversation. The service was warm and efficient, and the vibe is energetic without feeling rushed. My only complaint? I wish they would open a location in Palm Beach so it is closer to home. Until then, KYU is well worth the drive. Do not miss out on this culinary experience. You will be talking about it long after the last bite.

Nice place in the heart of Winwood . It was recommended to me by my friend for exceptional food quality. I guess it made my expectations soaring way to high. So himachal was good if only made extremely salty, to the point that salt crystals where crunching on teeth. Tuna crunchy rice was just tasteless and way too big, it would be much better if they would reduce the size of the pieces and add some seasoning to it. I like though their soft shell crab bao bun. When we get to the main course, then I understand why my friend recommended me this place. The short ribs where just amazing! Also I really liked their coconut pie, despite its appearance it was light and not too sweet. So overall, if they improve their appetizer game this place would be really good.

Had a great experience. Would highly recommend. The staff is very attentive. Ingredients are fresh! The brisket was out of this world. Cooked just right and so moist full of flavor. Didn’t need sauce. But you should still try it. Thank you to Chef Wint and his staff, you guys made us feel at home. Didn’t take photos of all the dishes… food was to good. 🤤

On a visit to Miami, the party I was with wanted to try something new. Two people in our group from Miami said this restaurant came highly regarded. Unfortunately, our experience got off to a bad start and only got worse from there. We got to the location and there was a wait time, approximately 30 minute wait per the hostess. We said okay and that we agreed to wait. The hostess took our number and said they'd text us when our table was ready. We walked around outside remaining close to the restaurant waiting for our text. The 30 minutes came and went. We waited a little longer giving them grace because it was a busy Saturday. When our text never came after 40 mins we went back inside to check with the hostess. She said when we walked away she thought we were no longer interested so she removed us from the queue (I guess they expected our group of 5 to wait around in their small 4 chair waiting area for 30+ minutes). We explained we still wanted to eat and would like to be seated. The hostess tried to make it right and got us seated in less than 10 minutes which we greatly appreciated as we were starving and excited to try something new. All in all we wasted almost 50 minutes just waiting. When we were finally seated, the waitress took our drink order and we all received our drinks, this process took a while as well so when our waitress returned we had our whole order ready. The kitchen was out of everything we wanted to order. The manager came over and suggested other dishes on the menu we should order instead. Unfortunately, we came specifically for the handful of dishes they were out of. At the end of the day, I can't believe we wasted an hour of our lives only to walk out and find another place to eat just a block away. The manager needs to work on staff communication. During our 50 minute wait someone could have mentioned some dishes were no longer available. Very unprofessional, uncoordinated and not interested in the customer experience.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! We came here for Miami Spice to celebrate our birthdays. The food was delicious and our server was the best server I’ve ever had in my life. Would 1000% recommend!
Crayollla — Google review
One of those places that charges 10x more just for the name. I ordered their “famous” coconut cake and immediately regretted it. The total came to $24 for one slice: $18 for a verrrrry small slice of cake, a $4 service fee (for takeout), and another $2 in tax. Still, I wanted to give it a fair try. Unfortunately, the experience went from disappointing to downright off-putting. When I opened the box, there were bits of old, cold white rice on the side of the cake — clearly from a utensil that hadn’t been cleaned. That level of carelessness is unacceptable, especially at this price point. The “coconut” flavor turned out to be nothing special — not even made with real coconut — and to top it off, the ice cream that was supposed to come with it wasn’t included. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this one deserves it. Standard and quality has to match the price. Just charging a high price doesn't make it a high- end restaurant. People usually pay for the experience and this wasn't a good one
Thuy D — Google review
Kyu has been raved about on social media with Miami Spice and I had to go to see what the fuss was about. The dining experience definitely met my expectations. For appetizers, I tried the tuna takaki and roasted cauliflower. The tuna takaki was so delicious as the tuna melts in your mouth and it went very well with the sauce. At first, I did not have much expectations for the roasted cauliflower but after the bartender recommended it so much, I had to try. It is definitely not the average roasted cauliflower, as the vinaigrette took it to another level. I also ordered the short rib bao bun from the happy hour menu and it was so tasty. For an entree, I tried the Korean fried chicken and Chilean sea bass. The fried chicken was delicious and the sea bass was to die for. Once again, the fish melts in your mouth and it paired very well with the white miso. For dessert, I tried the dark chocolate smores and moms coconut cake. They’re both very good and it paired well with the ice cream that it came but my favorite was the smores. I’m not a chocolate lover, but the roasted marshmallow on top of the chocolate cake and the banana ice cream paired perfectly. To drink, I tried the pink puppy and it was delicious. The service was amazing. They kept refilling our water, removing the dirty dishes and cleaning the area without asking and they did not steered me wrong with the suggestions they provided. The restaurant is nicely decorated with the open kitchen concept, which I love. Their bathrooms are also very clean. The restaurant is definitely not over hyped on social media and I would return to try more items from the menu.

Great spot for brunch. Friendly service and diverse menu options. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Try the icebox breakfast, the avocado toast, the yogurt with granola or the French toast. Good size portions and everything tasted great.

Let me start with saying this has been an amazing experience. Our waiter Josh was nothing but thoughtful and accommodating. The atmosphere is great, nice, calm, and welcoming in crazy South Beach. The food is unique, creative and amazing. I loved my freshly made salmon burger and the key lime pie was the best I had during our stay in Miami. I highly recommend trying Icebox Cafe while in Miami.

I recently had an amazing time dining at Ice Box Cafe in Miami Beach, and the experience was truly exceptional. The restaurant's beautiful atmosphere and interior create a charming and elegant oasis. The cocktail list, including refreshing mocktails, offers something for everyone, and it's perfect for escaping the Miami heat. As for the food, we started with the crab cakes and tuna tartar, both fresh and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I had the curry chicken, which was incredibly juicy and flavorful. Although we were too full for dessert this time, I couldn't help but notice the tempting options on the menu, and I'm already planning my return visit to save room for dessert. Overall, Ice Box Cafe in Miami Beach is a culinary gem that I highly recommend.

Hidden gem! A must for brunch. I happened upon it searching Google for a quiet brunch while in Miami over the weekend and WOW what a surprise. It’s exterior in simple, but once you enter the decor is fresh, welcoming and comfortable! I was greeted by the most wonder host who said “I have the perfect table for you”. It was! Staff was incredibly pleasant, from serving water right away, to my waiter Manuel greeting me and welcoming me. I was not rushed at all, and asked Manuel what he recommended based on my 2 selections. He said “Guave French Toast”, I switched out the 1 slice bacon for chicken sausage, a little more $, which was fine . I ordered a mimosa too.yum! The food was delicious! Cooked to perfection with the perfect accompaniments. Butterscotch drizzle, maple syrup, but not too sweet. Just go and visit this place, it is truly a hidden gem! Thank you Manuel and Brittney (GM) and the lovely woman (manager, I forgot her name) who took my photo! 💕 A highlight of my trip for sure! My Uber driver asked me when he picked me up, “how was that place?” I said “it’s a hidden gem”, he said he was going to definitely try it because he’s a “foodie”.Treat yourself by visiting Icebox Cafe and ask for Manuel!! Love, love! Miami 💚

A decent spot for brunch in Miami Beach. The guava French toasts came like a sandwich with guava jam in between the two slices. However, the jam didn’t resemble guava in taste. The syrup, a caramel sauce, was not too potent in flavor. The eggs Benedict was alright; nothing special. There wasn’t enough hollandaise sauce for the thick biscuit, or the ample potatoes on the side. The sauce itself was more on the sour end from lemons, but with plenty of butter. The crispy bacon was perfect.

Went to the Icebox Cafe for Sunday brunch and thoroughly enjoyed the food and excellent service! I had the lemon ricotta pancake which is almost like a cornbread in texture and it was delicious. Our southern friend declared the grits as authentic and top-notch and we tasted them and can confirm. We got to sit outside, which is a bit less charming than inside, but were well sheltered by the overhang when a storm blew through. Service was friendly and excellent throughout. Highly recommend!

Thai restaurant
Lung Yai Thai Tapas is a cozy spot with a charming patio that offers an authentic taste of Thailand in Little Havana. The restaurant, run by Chef Bass, serves up a variety of traditional Thai dishes such as coconut curries, soups, and salads. Despite the small size of the place, it's well worth the wait for their flavorful curries. One unique aspect is that customers are only allowed to order once, so choosing wisely is key.
Outstanding Thai food. We tried the dumplings, tom kha soup, chicken curry noodles and slow cooked pork soup from chefs specialties. Everything was phenomenal! The prices are very reasonable. For appetizers, soup, two main courses and 2 beers we spent $80. The place gets packed during the lunch time. They claim Michelin ‘22, ‘23, ‘25. It’s closed on Sunday’s and Monday’s.

This spot is straight 🔥. The flavors, the energy, and the vibe are unmatched. Where else in Miami can you get a Michelin-recognized meal for under $100 for two people? That alone makes it special. A lot of the negative reviews you see are just haters this isn’t some generic tourist trap it’s authentic, bold Thai food done right. If you actually appreciate real cooking, not watered-down plates, you’ll love it here. Portions are generous, service is efficient (don’t expect hand holding, expect greatness), and every dish is packed with flavor. Easily one of the best values in the city. If you’re in Miami and you skip Lung Yai, you’re missing

Finally made it to the Michelin Bib Gourmand recognized restaurant. Lots of hype and the food was great. The much talked about Khao Soi (noodles in curry from Northern Thailand) didn't disappoint! The spring rolls were piping hot and extra crispy. The steamed dumplings were good, but not spectacular. One drawback - they have a "one time order " policy - meaning you place your entire order all at once and if you're still hungry... well, too bad!
Varun R — Google review
We went by recommendation to this restaurant located in downtown Miami with a Michelin Star and the truth was great. If you look at it from the outside it doesn't say much because it's a small place and without much luxury but you really feel like somewhere else. The atmosphere is good, the attention is very professional on the part of all their team, the cozy place, with little light at night but it makes it different, they play music from their country all the time, it was clean and the service in general was fast and efficient. The food was very tasty, recommended, with a balance of spectacular flavors. Just as a tip: when you go, look at the menu first so you know what to order because only one order is made, which is a little uncomfortable but it's not that it gives problems either.
A. M — Google review
This place is located calle 8; make up your mind and order everything you think you’ll need and take the best with you. Why? This place has a onetime order policy and you can’t order anything else. The only exception is rice and beer and possibly drinks. The Tom Yum is littered with mushrooms, no tomatoes visible, and it lacks galangal and lime leaves; could use some more tamarind, and it comes without spice for those who find bell peppers and mayo spicy. The waiter Chris offered to get me some pepper, which gave it the spice I needed. The duck salad was good, but it was a small portion for the price.

The food at Lung Yai Thai Tapas was amazing! We had the steamed dumplings, Tom Kha, Pad See Ew, and Jungle Fried Rice. Everything was packed with flavor… the dumplings were tender, the Tom Kha was rich and comforting, and the Pad See Ew was perfectly balanced. The Jungle Fried Rice was good, though it tasted more like a regular fried rice than something unique. Overall, delicious food and definitely worth visiting!

Last time I was here was about maybe four years ago. This place is amazing. The food the service the flavors the soup everything about it is lovely. Just be prepared to order one time everything that you need because there’s no placing any additional orders no matter how delicious it is… Today I had the soup with shrimp. I had the dumplings and had the barbecued ribs so good you will slap your momma. My nephew is a food reviewer and I already sent him the information on this place and told him he gotta come here early just as they open to ensure getting a table and he is gonna love this place. The only reason they were able to get a star was because I enjoyed my cafe con leche. Very poor and rude customer service when it came to me (a black woman). I watched him take everybody else’s order with a smile and with respect. He had an attitude when I asked if they had non dairy milk and kept walking away while I was speaking instead of finishing my order and completing the next.
