Delicious food! We had some savoury waffles and the wedge salad, which had a lovely sauce and bacon while still feeling light and fresh. There were aerosol deodorants and sanitary products available to use in the bathrooms, extremely thoughtful!

We came here on the hottest day ever extremely hungover and in misery looking for a pick me up. We were drawn in by the friendly staff and the hope of air conditioning and a chill vibe. This did not disappoint. The area is amazing the vibes are on point. The staff are excellent and really helpful. They even helped us decide where to go after. The food is just the cherry on top. Love it. Get a combo platter. We will be back.

food is usually and still is banging from here and is always what has made me come to Manchester in the first place!, however on this occasion I changed my usually order from just the thighs , to the mac attack burger! It was initially so so good until I started to reach the end and it was the chewiest most horrible chicken imaginable, upon further inspection grey and pink inside- very worrying. I would say it was due to the “thigh” meat that was being used but previously I have just ordered thighs and never had this issue, also portion size smaller than i remember 😔major let down and made me very cautious of coming back to one of my favourites, cannot fault staff and service, and had a very nice guest lager which was reasonably priced for Manchester 💖

Got a burger and chips, with a side of tenders which came to £25. Value for money was really poor. The chicken itself has no flavour and the breading was soggy, the best bit about the meal was the chips that it came with. Only positive was that the service was good. A man named Sufyan was our waiter and was very kind and chatty. There was an error with our drinks order so he cancelled them off the bill, which was extremely kind of him. I can’t say that I would return for food any time soon, it was very disappointing - and with Almost Famous, Bunny Jackson’s and Nell’s being on the same street, I’d rather go there

Came on a Wednesday, atmosphere was great and the staff could not have been more helpful. I came with a party of three and we all chose different cocktails: the pistachio creamtini, punch bowl and the bloodline spritz were especially good. Food was sublime and served quickly. Really reasonably priced - 10/10 would recommend

Called in for a takeaway whilst on a work break. The computer ordering system was easy to use and catered for both Korean and English speaking clients. The food was ready quickly after paying. Staff very polite when handing the order over. Food was both tasty and satisfying and a decent portion size. I'll definitely be back to hopefully have a sit down meal.

It's bit dark inside, but it does give a place private and relaxed atmosphere. Had really nice garlic honey chicken, but saw people next to me having a hot pot which looked amazing so will love to come back at some point.

The food is very nice but there are issues with the price as everything feels like 2-3 pounds more than it should be. The sauces are too expensive for example. The atmosphere is ok but they need better extraction for the air since you can feel the grease particles in the atmosphere and it's intense. The service is not that great however.

Got this for takeout and dine-in few times! Their garlic honey sauce was AMAZING and their chicken was juicy, crunchy and all to be expected from a Korean fried chicken joint.

Been here for a couple times every other month, truthfully speaking, they are offering consistently appealing chicken, Exceeds what I expected since I first heard it at the social media, Amazing quality of fried chicken drumsticks, wings and delicious sauce going along with them, got to keep them coming, trying different spices, the hot pepper and honey garlic flavour is outstanding, the 3rd place have to go to sweet and spicy. Tornado Potatoes pretty nice too

The taste of Korean fried chicken is decent, and the portion size is quite large, but the military pot is the worst I have ever tasted, and the ingredients taste super weird.

Decent scran in a fairly generic location . Got a classic chicken burger, drink and fries £11 all in, so not too expensive. Sat in, restaurant was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly. Food was tasty and fresh. Lots of choice as well. Got an unnecessary amount of plastic with everything considering I was sat in. Would recommend but probably better after a few beers

I’ve had this twice now. First time was delivery and was one of the best chicken burgers I ever had. Second time I ate it (picture) and the burger was still so flavourful but almost stone cold as it had taken 35 minutes to come despite there only being 2 other people in the restaurant, I assume they had forgotten about it:(

Great food, polite and friendly service, clean tidy ambience, and of course centrally located. Nashville fried chicken burger was fantastic, although too spicy for my liking. Chicken was on point. I was surprised by the great quality of the fries with skin. Only disappointing thing was the ketchup, but this has no relevance to the overall review. It’s just me being picky.

My husband and I ate here and had a delightful experience. We ordered the hot chicken sandwich, the tribute one, crinkle fries, and sodas. You have to specify what type of chicken you want, breast or thigh, and my husband messed up the order (sorry hon!) but the staff fixed it without any issues. The fries were fresh, the chicken sandwiches were delicious. The hot chicken was extremely spicy and authentic. I highly recommend this spot for a quick, comfort food meal.

I went here Today and tried their Gravy cheese melt Burger. It was the best beef burger I've ever had in my life Another Amazing experience with the staff here they're so polite and friendly I would highly recommend everyone to Visit here and try their menu. And it's Halal in Central Manchester. That's a big deal.

We’ve tried others but can’t beat a chicken run for consistently good food, great portion size and taste. We got 2 large curry mutton with steamed veg, rice and peas. Was good today and didn’t get a dumpling but will always come here when I don’t feel like cooking x The meat was melt in mouth with plenty of carrots and potatoes. Rice and Peas was really fresh and thankfully no sugar in it, like iv noticed other places seem to be adding lately. Only regret is not buying oxtail as well lol x

Food is fine but a SHAME about the service. You walk in smiling and happy only to be greeted with the snarkiest looks from the front of house servers. Was screamed at by a young woman named ‘Meesha’ for nicely asking about the price of a fish meal which had two different prices on the board. It was very uncalled for, a very dark energy. I just walked straight out and luckily spoke with one of the guys outside about it who apologised on her behalf. Ultimately took my money elsewhere and bought food from the grill across the road. I’m aware it’s not everyone. But it has happened on 1 too many occasions when I have witnessed the staff at the front to be abruptly rude. As someone who has worked in customer service myself, I understand that there can be times when customers are genuinely annoying and for that I always make it my mission to treat someone else how I would like to be treated. I didn’t deserve to be spoken to the way I was and I’m flagging this up because I am not the only person who has had a similar experience. Kindness and respect goes a long way

Always amazing food from here. We get the fried chicken with curry goat gravy dumplings rice n pease. Omg the dumpling dipped in that gravy is fireeeee 🔥 love love love it!

First time here. Food ok had the chicken split but my jaw is hurting now from chewing more bread than the filling. Wings were very small. Service was very slow non existent and shouting / screaming staff. The place was very clean. Card machine supposedly plays up aswell which needs to be addressed. The staff play dumb I have been queueing to order for some time and even though I'm stood right Infront of them they shout "whose next" looking at other people but me

What a place to go to… Just be my favor, please. I got a piece of fish that was 2 cm wide and 5 cm long for £7.50. Ware was snapper fish???🐟 They sold me this tiny fish probably because I was not black born. — lol. The chicken was undercooked, my kid couldn’t eat it, and the chips were undercooked too. Service was horrible. I understand it was a busy time, but health and safety should come first. I don’t want to get poisoned with undercooked food. We were very disappointed.

Omg this is so tasty! I ordered the chips and aubergine sandwich and honestly 10/10 for both. So filling and so much flavour, definetly recommend this place. Sounds pricey for a sandwich but the portion size is huge and so filling its worth it and you wont regret

Tucked away in an alleyway in Manchester's Chinatown is this blink and you miss kind of hole in the wall takeaway spot. I am serious about Fat Pat's being a hole in the wall as all they got is a window to handover your orders. Now coming to their famous sub sandwiches, I have to say I was genuinely impressed by how amazing those were. We got both their honey chicken and Philly cheese steak sandwiches and both were top notch when we ate it back in our hotel rooms. For the four of us, who don't want massive lunches, the two foot long subs with their crinkle cut fries were more than enough. I have to say that this spot is well worth repeat visits.

My gosh, what a place. We ordered midday and collected our sandwiches in the evening. I opted for the steak sandwich, a delicacy to the mouth. The honey chicken was also top tier. Both sandwiches had a beautiful flavour and you can tell it was with the freshest of ingredients. Well worth the hype :,).

perfectly deliciously mind blowing food. Had a 4.45pm slot after booking at 8.45am and still waited 20 mins in a queue. Hot Honey done correctly. Everything - salad & sauce paired so lovely! Fat Pat’s is down a bin alley, like actual bins. You’ll see it from the queue at the window. Order ahead, it’s collection only. We both got the hot honey chicken. Sweet, spicy, massive. Milk roll is soft but doesn’t fall apart. Flavours were so good. Think it might be the best sub we’ve had. Hype’s definitely fair.

A bit overpriced. You can’t order in person. Only online orders. The crispy honey hot chicken was good. But the phily cheese was ok. Portions are good but not like enormous. One can easily satisfy your hunger.

This is the best fried chicken restaurant we have visited. The chicken is perfectly succulent and tender without being greasy. The flavour and seasoning is perfect. We loved our dishes and the service we received was very friendly too. The quality of the ingredients is very high and you can see the owners are passionate about food. Highly recommend this restaurant in the Northern Quarter.

Really lovely people, equally lovely food. Taco Tuesday is highly recommended but all the food we had was excellent and the stuff going to others looked amazing too. I inadvertently ended up on the leader board just because it's hard to stop the tasty train (had I known I'd have gone for the top spot!) I'm looking forward to another visit if I'm in Manchester again.

Always wanted to try Kongs (after seeing it on beards meet food) and we managed to visit for an early lunch on a food research trip. Staff were friendly, food was quick and super tasty. Beef tacos and Parmesan chips were incredible. Restaurant has a cool urban look and a well stocked bar. Would definitely return to when back in Manchester to try out more menu items. Great spot must visit for Taco lovers

We booked this restaurant after seeing lots of videos on Instagram. When we arrived there was not really anyone to greet us or sit us down, but lucky some of the party had already arrived so we made our way over to them. It took a while to get our drinks ordered, we had to ask for the staff in the end. The food was ordered shortly after. The menu is not the biggest, but the flavours and presentation were awesome. The food was fresh and tasty. However, as a large party the food came in drips and drabs and by the time the last meal was served nearly everyone had finished their meal. I personally like all the food to arrive together, but that's my opinion. I didn't like that there was one shared toilet and the cue was long, and it did smell awful. I did not like this, as most women won't. Overall I loved the food. But the service and cleanliness needs improving.

Good dirty food. Would recommend booking if you want a table but there’s room on the bar if not. Stacked out tacos, tortillas are a little small so it’s a messy one but would recommend.

Stopped in at Kong’s NQ for lunch while transferring between Piccadilly and Victoria, and I’m so glad I did. I was in a rush to catch a train, mentioned it to the team, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating - food came out quickly, bill sorted straight away, super friendly service. I had the signature chicken sandwich and it was unreal. Perfectly fried chicken thigh, crispy chicken skin crackling (game-changer), punchy sriracha slaw, tangy pickles, and a rich burger sauce that tied everything together. Portion of seasoned fries was huge and really well done - easily one of the best value plates I’ve had in a while. Massive portions, spot-on flavours, and staff who genuinely care about the experience. Whether you’re grabbing food on the go or sitting in with mates, this place is an absolute must.

We went for a 90s night event on Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the place once in. Lots of choice of drinks and bars. Food was great from FUKU. The music even was busy and the atmosphere was great, will think about attending another night at some point.

Lovely atmosphere where street food, music, live shows all meet. Stalls with deliciously made street food from a wide range of chefs. Always looks at the website as they do live shows sometimes. Amex card holder's sometimes get VIP slots for shows. Why not give it a try for yourself.

Amazing & unique all in one entertainment and multiple restaurant complex. The food from Patterson's was some of the best that I have ever had. All the bar staff were very friendly and helpful. It's hard to describe what the place looks like as it's so unique. I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely go back.

I have been a regular at Seconds Carvery since they opened up again this year, it is under new management and they came out with a bang! There is a live DJ playing at the venue every Sunday, the atmosphere is great and very lively but you can still talk easily. The roast beef is served rare/medium rare, or you can ask for it to be cooked for longer to your preference. The Bacon loin is delicious, very juicy and the honey mustard glaze is delightful. The half roast chicken is awesome, also very juicy and the meat comes from the bones very easily. Everything was cooked to perfection! The veggie offerings have also been great, I've so far, only tried the mushroom Wellington and a curry potato pie (for science) but both were super tasty. The trimmings are all great, very fresh and great quality - the yorkshire puddings are immense and the gravy is super tasty. My favourite part is the red cabbage, it has an almost winter spiced taste and it's gorgeous! To top it off, the trimmings are unlimited! Making it great value for money. Overall, a great experience and a lovely carvery. Great to have a good carvery in the city centre!

Visited a couple of weeks ago and managed to get a booking at Ornella's. We wanted to try it for months but we can hardly find last minute tables at the one in Denton. We were seated without delays, the staff were friendly and accommodating. However, the food did not live up to the expectations. We got the fried the fried ravioli as a starter and main the rigatoni alla vodka and the oven baked shells. The starter was too oily and could not have more than a couple. The rigatoni alla vodka was not edible, the amount of alcohol was too much and the dish was bitter. Moreover, the menu was not the same as the one in Denton but more like a short version of it. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy it and was not worth our money. Freight Island was able to deliver as usual. We spent a bit of time outdoors after our meal.

The wings were absolutely delicious perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Paired with the burger fries, it made for a super satisfying and filling meal. We had 10 wings each along with the burger fries, and it hit the spot! Highly recommend if you’re craving something tasty and filling.

Best food I've had since moving here a few days ago. The burger was so incredibly juicy it was dripping onto my hands. Good prices, friendly staff. Only downside personally is the music was a bit loud.

Bunny Jackson’s in Manchester is unapologetically dive bar and they own that brand, and I didn’t realise how much I would miss a spot like this till I walked in. From the dim, sticky ambiance and dated decor to their neon signs with the loud chatter and cheap drinks, this place knows it’s a dive bar and wears it proudly. There are even signs that say things like we are sticky and messy, we got a dog, we are loud and we don’t care if you care. And it’s packed even on a weekday. But here’s the best thing about this place is the chicken wings. They are the cheapest wings I have seen yet are the best I have had in the country. I saw folks walk in solo just for the wings and bar food. The drinks and beers are wallet-friendly too, They’ve got over tap beers plus shots for when you want to get the party going. In the end , Bunny Jacksons is dive bar at its finest, and I will be back next time I am in Manchester.

The walls were plastered with decorations creating a cosy atmosphere. There is a variety of table sizes for many party sizes. There is a good selection of wings on offer. I listened to my friend's advice of ordering three portions of wings for myself. You can manage 15 wings. No I could not. I struggled to eat 10. The flavour of each was incredible. Honey and mustard, rum and sesame, and bbq. No faults on flavour. However, the flavours are very rich so I found I couldn't eat very many of them. If I was to go again. I think each of us should have ordered a different flavour and then shared them. 5 wings is enough. We did have two portions of water tots with this which are essentially mini crispy hash browns. They were flawless and an excellent break from the considerable amount of meat. I might have been able to eat more, if I had a side salad next to me. Cheap eat for the quantity of food.

Really great atmosphere and very friendly staff. I had the Bunny’s Hard Lemonade cocktail, a cheeseburger and deep fried pickles. In all honesty, the burger wasn’t great- it was dripping grease when I picked it up, but the fries were great. I also wasn’t a fan of the batter on the pickles, and it fell off very easily, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, pickles are a wet thing and I understand the batter sliding off. All in all, I’d definitely come back for drinks and to try the wings when I’m back in Manchester.

Also ordered the onion rings which were a little too greasy but the pickle dip was definitely unique! Service was lovely, staff are very friendly. Overall vibe of the place was nice too! The swamp dog cocktail was good to try! Very different choice of cocktails which was great 😊

A great selection of cocktails which are 2 for 1.. The food was nice, I had the calamari and laksa, both of which were tasty. We walked in on a Saturday without a reservation, but it got very busy later in the evening. If you're visiting after 7pm, so booking is best

Surrounded by plenty of other restaurants and bars it might be difficult making a choice of where to go, but this is a lovely Thai and with good service. The decor inside is modern and clean, although some of the table positioning can make areas feel a little cramped. The food menu is a decent size with all the traditional Thai classics but also a few more special dishes, which makes it suitable for those who may be a bit more nervous or new to the cuisine. It was a shame that my order of prawn noodles actually turned up as chicken, but it was tasty enough to not mind and portion sizes were good for the price. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff made it a good meal with friends and I’d certainly consider visiting again.

We had absolutely delicious food here this evening. The service was excellent. Barry was our server and he was fantastic in every way. I think this is only the second review I have ever done (I am not young!) and I felt the need to say how good this restaurant was and in particular how Efficient and friendly Barry was….. it was a real pleasure to be served by him. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening.

We don't normally do a chain restaurant but had little option at salford quays but this was a cracking find. Seated straight away the front of house staff was very good and quick to serve you. The decor was excellent. The food was a surprise as it was delicious and well cooked would definitely recommend service and food was top notch and not to expensive

Waste of money and time. The food was cold beyond what cold should be and the chips I believe we're just thrown in from the draining rack after being sat there for a few hours. The burgers were freezing cold and the wings absolutely disgusting. I asked for no onions and it still have nasty sliced onions in such a stupid way. Has the cost of a sprinkling of salt gone up in price as everything was lacking in salt or any type of seasoning. The beef patties were very dry and dense with no flavour and the wings had a slight sat in the heating oven for 3 hours smell which smelt funky. After hype of this place I think y'all need to reconsider your career choices!

It’s my first time with the restaurant. Fortunately, it was a nice experience through delivery service, as it was fast and I got warm fresh food. I ordered double cheesed burger, it was a good and delicious but too meaty as it has four layers of meat, therefore I preferred the cheesed burger which has only two layers of meat which also considered as a good portion sandwich. Also, I had one freebird chicken burger, it was fresh, simple and hot. It’s not the best but it was very good. All cost me around 30 pounds, but it was enough for 2 normal eaters.

Ordered the bird box and the beef burger box. Chiken burger is good, but the burger was very small. The fries portion is good, but my order was missing 2 fries. The beef burger was dense. There was very little sauce on it. I heard the hype, but honesty, not that impressed. Too much expensive and small portions.

By far the best chicken burger there is around! There was a time I was going there three times a week It’s that good! Not to mention the amazing brownies that they sell. A very good thing they do is that every so many times you order you get a free something, In the past few months, I’ve had chips, burger and brownies for free on many occasions, 10/10!!

First off, the patty was juicy and cooked perfectly – a solid medium-rare, just how I like it. The toppings were fresh, and the bun was soft but sturdy enough to hold everything together without falling apart. Each bite was an explosion of flavor.

We found a table right away despite it being busy (as expected) whilst people were taking advantage of the outdoor seating area. The food arrived quickly and was delicious! Great atmosphere and very busy. Really nice venue. Food came quickly but was very disappointing. I ordered from Slap and Pickle. Hans Solo burger with fries £13.50. I could not eat the fries as they looked and tasted awful. The burger was not much better and had several lumps of gristle.

Great place tucked away behind Bridgewater Hall. Good atmosphere, great outdoor area next to a fountain. We had food from Slap and Pickle and Manzoku. Food was great, good portion size and weve still not found anywhere else yet that beats Slap and Pickle for the best burgers. Staff at both places are lovely, helpful and friendly. Will be going back 😁

Young and hip place. Went there for lunch on a Friday. Not at all busy. Could imagine it would be hard to find room after working hours. Only tried the pizza but would highly recommend. At lunchtime the outdoor seating was in the shadows so bring a jacket if you are sensitive to wind.

Decent. An array of great vendors, something for everyone. Atmosphere very busy, very loud too. Definitely a place with more groups than couples. Service was fast and ordered through the QR code and the food came to the table. Do remember to bring ID, got asked for it upon arrival.

Located on the canteen in the Lowry Outlet, had been there multiple times. The food is fresh and delicious, especially the peri-peri chicken rice and pink lemonade. Food is usually served fast (within about 7 minutes usually). The prices are a bit steep, but worth it overall. The staffs are friendly. I would definitely recommend trying if you’re by the area.

Their service and food is unpredictable. Some days it's okay and other days you get spoiled food. It's not a place to go when you know you just want a nice meal. You can end up very disappointed

Whoever is handling this place , kindly guide your staff about how to cook and how to serve customers . Got a burger and wrap and regreting to core for chosing this place and wasting money . I have never seen a burger smaller and empty than this . Wrap was a tortilla just wrapped with a tiny chicken piece ???!! Omg !! Are you guys for real ? Expensive place without any reason and this is exactly same reason why you people don’t have any customers ! No sauces or even a lettuce in neither burger nor in wrap !! When we raised the issue, the person claiming to be the owner rudely told us to “explain the smell,” said he would not admit the chicken was spoiled, and even threatened to call security, when I said to surely call the security, member of their team started apologising. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. Not recommended.

I had a very disappointing experience at Popeyes Chicken in Manchester. I was genuinely looking forward to trying it, but the food quality was shockingly poor. The chicken I was served was extremely, excessively oily — so much so that it was almost glistening with oil. It looked like it had just been pulled out of the fryer and tossed directly into the box without even the slightest attempt to drain or rest it. There was no crispiness, no flavour balance — just an overwhelming taste and smell of deep-fried oil. Every bite felt like I was chewing on a sponge soaked in grease. Even the packaging was starting to stain from the oil. It was simply unappetizing and not edible. I couldn’t finish my meal, which says a lot considering how much I enjoy fried chicken in general. It’s really disappointing coming from a well-known international brand like Popeyes. There’s clearly a serious issue with kitchen quality control or staff training at this branch. A bit of care in preparation — allowing chicken to rest, draining properly, or even just checking before serving — would make a huge difference. Sadly, based on this visit, I wouldn’t recommend this location. I hope Popeyes takes this feedback seriously, because with the right improvements, the food could live up to the hype — but right now, it’s far from it.

Nice restaurant with a lively atmosphere and modern design. The food is tasty, portions are good, and service is friendly. It can get busy during peak times, but overall a great place to eat in Manchester.

Chicken burgers and milkshakes are amazing, not sure on chips and gravy as we got sent Cajun ones which were ok but would have preferred plain 👍

I really like the atmosphere and the staff are super friendly. Food is usually good. My server Ibrahim is very smiley and likeable, with a really lovely energy. The cajun fries i had today are over-spiced for me personally. I needed less seasoning. Other than that, I was really satisfied with my visit!

It’s located in Piccadilly Gardens, which is a really great location. The food was delicious and the service was fast. The staff were friendly, especially Shafina, who was very kind and helpful!

Had a great experience at Popeyes! The food was fresh, hot, and really tasty. Ibrahim gave us excellent service — he was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely one of the best visits I’ve had here. Highly recommend!

Visited on a wet sunday afternoon, even though it was busy we found seats straight away. There was a queue when arrived, that went relatively quick. Staff were friendly and top of cleaning the tables. Think the prices have gone a bit steep, but where hasn't in 2025! I had a caramel latte, didnt taste the caramel at all.

From a seating perspective this is one of the better Costa Coffees. It has more of the "good seats", you know the ones, big and comfy, seats four to six people but usually hogged by just one person. Food choice was a bit limited on our visit today, but was good. But, I've said this over and over, they never keep on top of clearing and cleaning the tables. Still my favourite coffee shop, despite the fact that I don't like coffee! 😁

We ordered one oat latte and a cold mocha but we were given and charged for oat chocolate and cold chocolate. After enquiring what drink it is they said chocolate and I was like but I ordered oat latte. They later did change it and it was really good, one of the best oat latte I ever had but the cold chocolate wasn't that good according to my husband who had it. He said he had better ones before. We asked for water and they were really nice and gave iced water. As we planned to sit and do some work with our laptops it was hard to find sits with plug sockets close to it.

Staff are very nice but they are selling cakes not fresh at all. At least if you are asking more that 2 pounds for one, you should to sell products with not more that three days. This cake is hard to eat.

Tried the new Rolo Hot Chocolate, tastes good but does start getting sickly after abit. Food was great👍 Messy tables, had to move someone's left overs to be able to sit down.

So slow at serving, with one staff just sat staring at her phone, I actually gave up on this occasion.

Good for what you get, it's a fast food what did you expect? Michelin star? I went to Manchester on a field trip with my uni. Me and my mate got off the coach absolutely ravenous and we b-lined here, and the second we got out food life seemed beautiful again and we did everything we set out to do. I don't even know what I got I just know I asked for extra cheese and man did they deliver. There's my lunch with the most godly haze of light over it.

Burnt Whopper... When went for replacement, staff aplogised and said this is how it usually is. It's never like this!!! 3 stars because always enjoyed their PB whopper and vegan royale before

The food was cold to warm but not hot, some chips were raw, the drinks machine produced a diet coke that tasted like carbonated water (gross). Our "loaded" fries barely had any toping. Was very disappointed in the food. The servers also seem to put ordered in "ready to collect" as soon as they are placed so you have no idea on how long they will be. Normally it goes into ready when it's basically done, not when just started, so you know it will be ready very soon. This was annoying as everyone was crowding the collection desk. Won't be going back to this one.

I visited on Friday night and the staff and service were excellent. I really enjoyed my food. There was a staff member named Divakar who was so friendly and helpful—he even assisted me in ordering from the kiosk. I was really happy to receive my order so quickly, especially during such busy hours. Truly the best Burger King store!

The food was good. However, the staff seemed stressed and unmotivated. Maybe because it was a hot sunny afternoon and they had to work, I don't know. There were a few flies zooming around, which signalled to me that cleanliness is an issue. Despite the above, I would eat there again if I were hungry. But it would be takeout next time.

I don’t like leaving reviews like this because every time I’ve been into this Burger King, I’ve had nothing but great experiences. But I had quite a bad experience yesterday (on the 22nd of June) that I feel I should share - just so you can either help this individual improve, if he was having a bad day or something, or at least be aware in case this happens to anyone else with health problems. Like I say, in the past it’s always been really good. But the guy who I believe was the staff manager was incredibly dismissive and kept insisting that I use the self-service machine, even though I explained quite clearly that my order was allergy-related and couldn’t be placed properly that way. He kept saying it would work out the same price, but the price wasn’t the issue. My concern was making sure the order was handled correctly because of my health (and you can’t actually place the order I need through the machine but he wasn’t interested). I even asked if I could deal with another member of staff, but he ignored that and just kept telling me to go back to the machine. He was incredibly dismissive, came across as arrogant and incredibly patronising. When I said I’d have to leave it if I couldn’t place the order at the counter, he just said “Okay” and walked away. Again, I really don’t like leaving a negative review, especially for a business that’s been so good to me over the past seven months. Every time I’ve gone in, the staff have always been really accommodating regarding my health condition, and I’ve had a lot of good experiences. But this guy, unfortunately, was not. It’s not that I want him to get into trouble — I just think maybe it would help if he could be shown how to deal with people a bit more respectfully, especially when it comes to customers with health problems who could become very unwell if not taken serious. Sometimes it’s important to stop and actually listen instead of just sending people back to the machine to avoid doing the order manually. I know this order can be placed at the till, because I’ve done it several times over the past few months without any problem.

Ordered Angus beef burger meal with Caesar bacon loaded fries AND vanilla milkshake. I received a BOTTLE OF COKE AND BACON LOADED FRIES. Talk to Just eats and even called the restaurant itself and even the driver. There was no response!

Busy fast food restaurant offering a unique experience. The staff don’t look too happy and the flooring could do with a revamp. I’m indifferent about the food because before I visited I wasn’t too bothered about trying a corn dog. They’re sweet and it was cooked fresh for us. You have to buy something before you can use the toilets. I wouldn’t visit again but honestly this is just personal. They always have queues and I’m sure they offer amazing food for people that like it.

We tried the Original Tteokbokki, and it was my first time having something like that — the sauce was super flavorful, and the fishcakes soaked it up perfectly. We also gave their new chicken wrap a try, and it was surprisingly good — definitely worth ordering. It was pretty crowded when we went in the evening, so we had to wait a bit for a seat. Also, just a heads-up: the seating is all high stools, which might not be the most comfortable for everyone. But overall, it’s a great little spot if you’re craving Korean street food in Manchester!

You can spot BUNSIK from afar, given the vibrant blue aesthetic. Known as one of the most famous Korean street food in UK. Wanted to try their fried gimbap, but it was sold out. Tried their gimbap, it is not that fantastic. The spicy chicken tasted like frozen chicken. Maybe should have ordered the vegetables one since it is the most popular one. But worth a try still if you re craving for Korean food in UK.

My husband and I absolutely love this place! We spent two days in Manchester, and after trying it once, we just couldn’t resist going back the next day. The food is so delicious! I’ve been to Korea and tried authentic Korean food, and I can honestly say their tteokbokki tastes exactly the same — truly amazing! I totally recommend it to everyone — trust me, once you try it, you’ll be hooked! 🔥🍜💕

I tried the fried chicken kimbap and original tteokbokki. The tteokbokki was just average, but the kimbap was surprisingly good! However, the service was incredibly slow; I waited almost 20 minutes for my food. The place was super crowded and clearly understaffed.

We decided to try Bunsik as we had never tried corn dogs before but were sadly disappointed by our visit. I got the cheese potato corn dog and my partner got the chicken ramen one, and we weren’t very impressed. The cheese didn’t have much flavour and the batter was super sweet and overpowering. Maybe I should have got a sauce on it, but it was totally new to me and I didn’t realise that the corn dog wouldn’t have enough flavour on its own to be enjoyable. The chips were fine but had sooooo much salt on them that it was difficult to eat them all. It would be better if you could put the salt on yourself via sachets so then you can salt them to taste. Sauce sachets being available would be good too. It took a while to get our food as it was really busy and that’s understandable. Because it was so busy it was hard to find a table and they weren’t very clean. There weren’t very many stools available either and they were uncomfortable. I think the layout of the seating area could be improved on to facilitate more people.

According to the good online reviews, we decided to give this place a try. We were a family of 3 and ordered £30 worth of food as lunch. The corndog was the only food which tasted acceptable but was still hard to bite and tasteless. The fried chicken was extremely sweet; the noodle was the worst, it tasted worse than the standard Korean instant noddle and came with nothing else, we paid extra for veggies (£1.00 extra) and a piece of cheese (£1.5 extra); the portion wise it was only half size of the carton full and costed me £8.4 in total. It was way too expensive for what I got. After having lunch, we had unsettled belly the whole afternoon. Unfortunately we would not come back again.

I love asian/pan asian food but this one did not leave a good mark. A friend recommended and i thought of trying the salt and pepper chicken with rice and some sticky wings. The wings were tasty but so so tiny. The rice was just plain cooked rice and the salt and pepper chicken was very tough and chewy. A lot of people must be liking this place but I only post genuine reviews and I didn’t quite like it, may be over expected. However, the staff are very friendly, ambience is nice.

Really delicious food! Friendly and competent staff. We got Salt&Pepper Chicken with rice, Sticky Chicken with fries and the hash browns + two drinks for 30 bucks The prices are completely reasonable for what you get, great quality. We’re very happy we went here 😁

I’ve been coming to salt and pepper since it was in the Arndale. I can appreciate prices have doubled however the standard of food has majorly dropped. The sticky beef is now bland compared to what it used to be and definitely isn’t the same recipe, the portion size is also a lot smaller. There are also a lot of fruit flies flying round the restaurant which is a bit off putting. The staff are always super friendly and nice.

Had this amazing surf and turf today, such a flavourful and balanced meal. The honey sauce steak was nice and sweet, the prawns crispy, the salad was well seasoned and the salt and pepper chips are some of the best ones I ever had. Definitely worth the money, I’ve eaten here twice and will be coming again! Sincerely recommend the hashbrowns as well!!!

Amazing food! Great portion sizes. Even though went during peak time still got our food within 15 minutes. Unfortunately just needs more seating in there as when we went was very busy and difficult to get seated .

After speaking to the owners who took onboard my feedback regarding the quality of the steak, I can confirm that the surf and turf tastes better than ever. Once again my taste buds are tingling 10/10 for sure, I will defo be back!

Been here many times. I tend to order the mixed box (Half salt and pepper chicken, half sticky chicken) and half and half - chips and rice. You get a little bit of pickled salad and a sauce. Never had a bad experience. It is always very busy so just keep that in mind!

We visit her almost every week. My daughter loves the chicken strips and criss cross fries. The chicken burgers are great too, with multiple options and it's great you can choose whether to have breast or though. There are lots of choices of dips too.

I’m really disappointed with my experience at Zaxxfried. I ordered two burgers and some chicken wings via Uber Eats. The wings were piping hot, but the burgers were completely cold—like they’d been sitting around for ages. It honestly felt like they were prepared long before my order, especially since they’re running a 2 for 1 sale on those burgers today. I reached out to the restaurant and spoke to Sebastian, but he was completely unhelpful. He just blamed Uber Eats for the problem, even though I live only 3 minutes away and the wings arrived hot. It’s clear the issue was with how the burgers were prepared, but he didn’t seem to care about that. Overall, really poor service and food quality. I won’t be ordering from here again.

The food was absolutely MEGA, easily the best chicken burger I have ever had (Nashville Hot!!) The staff were fantastic and very welcoming 🙏 We also had the deep fried oreos which were insane 😍 10/10 will definitely be going again.

My first time here with the lads as it was reccomended by a friend. I went for the Golden Buffalo burger 🍔 and got the crispy fries now keep in mind everything is charged seperate. Crispy cross fries were £3 a portion and burger was around £10. Also got the lychee can drink which if I be honest is a rip off on the rubicon lychee can but way more expensive. The food overall was average at best and for that price you pay isnt worth it in my opinion. The place itself has no seating and is take away only the lady serving who seemed so like she didnt want to be there chattin away to her friend. If I be honest I dont think I would go back as I can think of plenty more better chicken burger joints than this.

The service unfortunately was rather awkward, the woman serving us seemed like she may have been more interested in going back on her phone. The food was okay, burgers look a lot bigger on Instagram, it’s worth a try for sure, it was just okay for me. Sweet chill sauce wasn’t the one. They do give an abundance of fries to make up for the slightly small burgers. If you’re looking to spend £15 on meal, which is the average in Manchester then give it a go. This is a eat in your car meal, which I don’t mind. No dine in as stated.

Ordered the Korean thigh burger, the breast mango habanero burger, chicken strips and potato waffles. Overall, the burgers were good, especially the korean Burger, the thigh was juicy and the sauce was an and the sauce wasn’t overpowering. The mango burger, I could appreciate if you liked that sauce then that would be what you’re after hence the high reviews for it. However, for me it was too sickly and sweet. I’d also like to see a bit more on the burger. I removed the pickles but it felt just like cheese and chicken. I couldn’t really taste any salad. I‘d definitely choose a thigh over a breast if I was ordering from there again. The potato waffles were really nice, a few more would have been perfect for the portion. Chicken strips were fine. Good chicken but a little bit dry - this might be down to the delivery though. The Kansas mayonnaise was amazing. I ordered it from Uber eats, and when it arrived it wasn’t very hot, so maybe it could have been even better.

The restaurant is kind of in a bar so it's a bit unusual. You have to order at the Bar, but I guess this keeps prices down. The food is probably my fav in Manchester. If you haven't had American biscuits before, you must try them. There is nothing to compare them to. Prices are beyond amazing for the quality and location.

Finally tried #cardinalrule in Manchester serving #American #buscuitsandgravy with #chickenfriedsteak ... The biscuits were on point. Crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The chicken fried steak tasted good. It was crunchy on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside. Their pimento cheese was good and added more flavor to the sandwich. Their home made pickles rounded up the whole delicious experience. The sausage gravy was generous with the sausage meat but needed a bit more salt. Still, it wasn't bad. I will definitely go back there again. They also serve breakfast. #foodporn

Cardinal rule was surprisingly very good! I saw the place get advertised a few times but it was slightly far so didn’t ever get to try but I managed to visit! We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was incredibly busy as it’s situated in northern monk refectory bar. It works quite well as the biscuit sandwiches here are good to pair with a beer. We ordered miss honey, hometown and hot take. Personally I had the miss honey and it was my favourite pick, coming from a person that doesn’t particularly like anything which is too bready or doughy the biscuits that formed the sandwich was really moist and buttery which complimented the fried chicken perfectly with the chipotle mayo and honey. Each sandwich goes for £8 which isn’t too bad considering how hefty these sandwiches are, we also ordered the fries with gravy too but personally I prefer English gravy more as this gravy was too floury and mild for my liking 🤣. Also these sandwiches are pretty filling from the density of the chicken and biscuits so even though they don’t look much they’ll keep you full for a long time. One thing I was disappointed with was with the biscuit and black pepper gravy sandwich that was shown on their menu on the website but when I asked about it at the counter they didn’t know what I was talking about and didn’t seem to have it on the menu..? Also there is no seating reservations or bookings so it’s strictly first come first serve first served, also expect a 30+ minute wait time if it’s busy. Overall cardinal rule is a good place to go if you’re feeling something heavy and American but it’s not somewhere I’d go regularly, maybe once in a while when I’m feeling it.

Came here 3 times over 3 weeks in Manchester. After traveling around England for 4 months it was the perfect comfort food to my American heart. The biscuits & sausage gravy were like a warm hug. We also tried the biscuit French toast sticks, pancakes (which were incredible), the Miss Honey sandwich and the popcorn chicken & fries. Everything tasted great, the staff was friendly and the food came out fairly quickly given on how busy it could be.

Our first time eating here. But it was certainly worth the trip out at lunch. Great food. Highly recommend it. Somthing different. Great yeast and price. Friendly helpful staff. And dome excellent drinks too. Some very good stout.

The chicken biscuit sandwich is the best. So juicy, moorish, delectible. I highly reccomend you come and try here. You will not be dissapointed. Located in Northern Monk, meaning you have a great range of beer on tap to help wash down the chicken.

Absolutely fantastic. I haven't had a good biscuit in a good 10+ years so this was an amazing experience. My friend tried them for the first time and it blew their mind! The chicken is also SO moist and full of flavour.
