Harvester Quayside Mediacityuk is a well-liked family-friendly restaurant and bar situated in The Quays of Manchester. They are known for serving grilled meats, salads, pasta, and seafood. Additionally, they offer an unlimited breakfast menu featuring a variety of options including eggs, bacon, sausage (including vegan and vegetarian alternatives), toast, cereals, fresh yogurt, fruit and more.
Lovely meal with superb customer service. Sadie looked after us really well and we thoroughly enjoyed our time eating here. I had the chicken waffle bacon stack and my wife had ribeye steak which was cooked exactly as we’d requested with our waitress. Salad bar stocked well, clean and tidy. Table and menus were very clean. Thank you Harvester team at Lowry Outlet Mall!
Solomon R — Google review
I’ve had some solid meals at other stand-alone Harvester locations, so I walked into the Salford Quays spot with decent expectations. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark - and pretty badly. It’s located in a mall, which already makes it feel a bit less like a proper restaurant and more like an afterthought. I was seated quickly, and my order was taken without delay, so things started off okay. But then it kind of fell apart. The free salad bar, usually a nice bonus, was a mess—bowls were picked over, toppings were scattered everywhere, and there was clear cross-contamination (stuff from one bowl ending up in another). Honestly, it didn’t feel clean. Then came the wait. It took forever to get my meal, and by the looks of it, I wasn’t alone—other tables were clearly frustrated with delays and wrong orders. It seemed like the entire waitstaff rotated out, or got sent home, all at once, leaving service in chaos. Those that came in seem frazzled and rattled. Poor planning all around. When the food finally did show up, I’ll give them this—the 12 oz ribeye with chips was actually good. No complaints on the dish itself. But the overall experience? Not great. A frustrating visit with decent food that arrived far too late to feel worth it. Wouldn’t go out of my way for this location. Maybe stick to the standalone ones.

Went for food this evening, prior to a booked concert, in Manchester. We were seated promptly & attended to by a lovely lady server, by the name of Lucy. My Husband has an intolerance, which was noted by Lucy, who was very helpful, when making food choices & offering an alternative accompaniment, to his meal. Lucy was an absolutely delightful waitress, who deserves recognition, for her hard work & dedication, to make dining at the Harvester, a very pleasurable experience. Now, onto the food: my Husband opted for the ribs & I went for the chicken kebab. Both with the delicious sage & onion seasoned fries & my Husband’s came with onion rings (alternative to the menu, as this would interact with his intolerance) & mine with the fluffy flat bread. We also both had salad, from the salad bar. The whole meal, was absolutely faultless. All perfectly cooked, fresh, hot & very tasty. If anyone coming to the area, is undecided about where to eat, then please give the Harvester a try…you won’t be disappointed.

Came here on Sunday, we ordered a popular chicken, bacon & waffle dish. It was very good except for the bacon which was a bit too dry. But the stuff was lovely and we got to have free salad bowls which was honestly a really nice addition to a Sunday meal. Left happy and full 🧇

Elaine and Rob provided fantastic service (sorry about the accident- you know what I mean) really made us want to come back. The food was tasty too. Salmon off the lunch menu, 3 plates off the small plates menu and the triple combo. All recommended.

We arrived at our appointed time and were welcomed and seated immediately by a polite and well mannered member of staff. Our table service and wait time for food was very good. pricing was reasonable and they accepted out voucher code without hesitation. The salad bar was was a welcome delight although a couple of the items had run out and had not yet been replenished. We enjoyed our meals and the overall experience was good.

Visited this Harvested on a busy Saturdy afternoon. We were seated fairly quickly and our waitress was the lovely Elaine. Elaine went above and beyond with us and is very knowledgeable in her job. Elaine was very welcoming and made us laugh, using the floor as her stage to perform! Elaine is a great asset to the team, and we wish more places have staff like her! Hospitality cannot be taught but her hospitable nature shines through! The food we both had was piping hot and incredibly tasty and filling.
Jake D — Google review
Me and my friend came here for lunch today, it wasn’t planned we were just looking for somewhere to eat and found here. It was lovely the food was delicious. But what made our visit stand out was the amazing lady Elaine who served us. She was fantastic I honestly don’t know where she got her energy from, she had quite a few tables to serve and she did it so well, she had time for everyone, she had a smile and was genuinely so lovely. We will definitely be going back.

Nando's Manchester - Spinningfields is a vibrant Afro-Portuguese eatery renowned for its flame-grilled chicken slathered in spicy chili sauce. This popular spot draws in crowds looking for a quick and satisfying meal, making it an ideal choice for lunch enthusiasts. Located conveniently near the Lowry Centre, it's worth the stroll if you're craving some heat in your meal.
Had lunch here with my son and daughter , very cozy restaurant and faster serving ! the chicken was amazing and the kids really enjoyed the food ! Staff were very friendly and help me to sorted my gift card with infinite patience! hide gem by the road work
Hall Z — Google review
Arriving at Nando's Spinningfields at 9:55 pm, we were well aware we were cutting it close, as the restaurant was due to close at 10 pm. Despite this, the staff greeted us with a warm welcome and a willingness to serve, which instantly made us feel at ease. The team was incredibly accommodating, patiently explaining the menu options and making recommendations, even though it was nearly closing time. Their professionalism and courtesy were truly commendable, and they didn't rush us at all, which is often a rarity when arriving at a restaurant so late. We decided to try the lemon & herb sauce on our chicken, and it exceeded all expectations. The sauce was a perfect blend of tangy and savory, enhancing the already succulent grilled chicken. The lemon & herb sauce provided a refreshing twist that was both light and flavorful, making it an absolute must-try for anyone visiting Nando's. It paired beautifully with the sides we chose, adding an extra layer of zest to the entire meal. We left Nando's Spinningfields not only satisfied but also impressed by the staff's dedication and their willingness to go the extra mile, made for a memorable evening. We highly recommend this location for anyone seeking great service and delectable food, regardless of the time. The interiors could have been lit well, its a great joint for a take-away.

Usually don’t leave reviews but wanted to leave one for the amazing service today by a worker with pink hair (sorry I didn’t catch your name). Made me feel very welcome - more so than anywhere else does, thank you!
Fay S — Google review
My friends and I recently enjoyed a delightful evening meal at Nando's. The atmosphere at Nando's was vibrant and welcoming, with a lively ambiance that added to the overall dining experience. The restaurant was about half full at the time of our meal which provided some peace for us to enjoy the restaurant. My meal was comprised of quarter chicken with PERI-salted chips and Rainbow Slaw. The quarter chicken was succulent and perfectly cooked, boasting a delicious blend of flavours; fries served alongside the chicken were crispy and seasoned to perfection, they provided a satisfying crunch and acted as an excellent side dish to balance out the flavors of the main course; and the Rainbow Slaw was tasty. The variety of mouthwatering sauces allowed me to customize the taste to my liking, complementing the tender meat. I appreciate that the staff took care of us during the visit, ensuring we were comfortable and had all that we desired. We were welcomed and it was a nice touch that they bade us goodbye after our meal.

Nestled in the vibrant Salford Quays, Banana Tree is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Pan-Asian cuisine. This trendy restaurant offers an exciting array of dishes inspired by the culinary traditions of Southeast Asia, including flavors from Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Japan.
The food is so tasty and hot here! I got the salmon and it was very very tasty! The service was fabulous, very smiley and professional from Barry. I wasn’t drinking and it was lovely of him to offer me a different drink when all my work colleagues were having shots! Would definitely recommend coming here :))

A great selection of cocktails which are 2 for 1.. The food was nice, I had the calamari and laksa, both of which were tasty. We walked in on a Saturday without a reservation, but it got very busy later in the evening. If you're visiting after 7pm, so booking is best

Surrounded by plenty of other restaurants and bars it might be difficult making a choice of where to go, but this is a lovely Thai and with good service. The decor inside is modern and clean, although some of the table positioning can make areas feel a little cramped. The food menu is a decent size with all the traditional Thai classics but also a few more special dishes, which makes it suitable for those who may be a bit more nervous or new to the cuisine. It was a shame that my order of prawn noodles actually turned up as chicken, but it was tasty enough to not mind and portion sizes were good for the price. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff made it a good meal with friends and I’d certainly consider visiting again.

We had absolutely delicious food here this evening. The service was excellent. Barry was our server and he was fantastic in every way. I think this is only the second review I have ever done (I am not young!) and I felt the need to say how good this restaurant was and in particular how Efficient and friendly Barry was….. it was a real pleasure to be served by him. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening.

We don't normally do a chain restaurant but had little option at salford quays but this was a cracking find. Seated straight away the front of house staff was very good and quick to serve you. Restaurant
Chimaek is a casual and quick-serve Korean eatery known for its delicious spicy fried chicken. The restaurant offers a variety of KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) options, along with beer, following the traditional 'CHI' for chicken and 'MAEK' for beer concept. Customers can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with K-pop music playing in the background. The service is efficient, with orders being quickly prepared for pickup at the counter.
First time having Korean Fried Chicken and all I can say is............ Amazing! Stayed at the Holiday Inn literally across the road, read the reviews and thought I'd give it a go. Honestly it was the nicest fried chicken I've ever eaten. The food was fresh, hot and the coating was so crispy!!!! Never had Korean food before so I wasn't sure on the glazes or dips, but I ended up going with the honey/garlic glaze on the fillets, and a soy/garlic glaze on the drumsticks, glad I did as both were delicious. If you're in the neighbourhood and you like Chicken, you have to check it out!
John P — Google review
Called in for a takeaway whilst on a work break. The computer ordering system was easy to use and catered for both Korean and English speaking clients. The food was ready quickly after paying. Staff very polite when handing the order over. Food was both tasty and satisfying and a decent portion size. I'll definitely be back to hopefully have a sit down meal.
Michael T — Google review
It's bit dark inside, but it does give a place private and relaxed atmosphere. Had really nice garlic honey chicken, but saw people next to me having a hot pot which looked amazing so will love to come back at some point.
Hoho — Google review
One of my favourite fried chicken places! Definitely recommend. Love the different options to choose whether you want thigh, breast or leg with different flavours.
Huma — Google review
The food is very nice but there are issues with the price as everything feels like 2-3 pounds more than it should be. The sauces are too expensive for example. The atmosphere is ok but they need better extraction for the air since you can feel the grease particles in the atmosphere and it's intense. The service is not that great however.
Yiannis C — Google review
Got this for takeout and dine-in few times! Their garlic honey sauce was AMAZING and their chicken was juicy, crunchy and all to be expected from a Korean fried chicken joint.
Bintang T — Google review
Been here for a couple times every other month, truthfully speaking, they are offering consistently appealing chicken, Exceeds what I expected since I first heard it at the social media, Amazing quality of fried chicken drumsticks, wings and delicious sauce going along with them, got to keep them coming, trying different spices, the hot pepper and honey garlic flavour is outstanding, the 3rd place have to go to sweet and spicy. Tornado Potatoes pretty nice too
Trevi Y — Google review
The taste of Korean fried chicken is decent, and the portion size is quite large, but the military pot is the worst I have ever tasted, and the ingredients taste super weird.

Bird of Prey is a unique fried chicken eatery located in the Circle Square development on Oxford Road. The establishment specializes in crispy chicken and waffles, along with double-dredged chicken strips, spicy buffalo wings, and indulgent fried sandwiches. Their menu also features refreshing shakes and classic fountain sodas. While the focus here is not on getting your recommended daily intake of fruits and vegetables, Bird of Prey offers a comforting fast food experience that caters to those craving hearty comfort food.
Tried Bird of Prey for the first time and honestly… wow. The Messy Chicken was insanely creamy and full of flavor total comfort food in the best way. And the Buffalo Soldier Burger? Absolutely nailed it. Juicy, perfectly spicy, and just packed with all the good stuff. Didn’t expect to enjoy it this much, but now I’m already thinking about my next order. So good!

Decent scran in a fairly generic location . Got a classic chicken burger, drink and fries £11 all in, so not too expensive. Sat in, restaurant was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly. Food was tasty and fresh. Lots of choice as well. Got an unnecessary amount of plastic with everything considering I was sat in. Would recommend but probably better after a few beers
Ben H — Google review
I’ve had this twice now. First time was delivery and was one of the best chicken burgers I ever had. Second time I ate it (picture) and the burger was still so flavourful but almost stone cold as it had taken 35 minutes to come despite there only being 2 other people in the restaurant, I assume they had forgotten about it:(
Alex W — Google review
By far the best combination of spices and sauces in a smash burger ive had in manchester. The juiciness and texture is finger licking good. Staff are admirably hospitable and polite. Service is on point. Would definitely come back for a jaw dropping meal.💯

Me and my friend came here because she recommended the place to me and we ordered wings, chicken burgers and the chicken loaded fries. The service given by Mohamed was great, recommending us the best in the menu. The food was amazing and the loaded fries were the best👌🏼👌🏼🤌🏼 Deffo coming back for more!!

Great food, polite and friendly service, clean tidy ambience, and of course centrally located. Nashville fried chicken burger was fantastic, although too spicy for my liking. Chicken was on point. I was surprised by the great quality of the fries with skin. Only disappointing thing was the ketchup, but this has no relevance to the overall review. It’s just me being picky.
Mamoun I — Google review
My husband and I ate here and had a delightful experience. We ordered the hot chicken sandwich, the tribute one, crinkle fries, and sodas. You have to specify what type of chicken you want, breast or thigh, and my husband messed up the order (sorry hon!) but the staff fixed it without any issues. The fries were fresh, the chicken sandwiches were delicious. The hot chicken was extremely spicy and authentic. I highly recommend this spot for a quick, comfort food meal.

Food court
Restaurant
Kargo MKT is a newly opened international eatery located in MediaCity. It offers a wide range of cuisines from Burmese to Italian, Greek to Ethiopian, and more. The food court provides options for all times of the day and includes a sandpit and screen for children. While the food is delicious, some find it overpriced. The market also offers various Halal food options and contactless payments are accepted at all outlets.
Kargo MKT is an awesome concept. Food halls aren’t new to Manchester - there are a few around - but this one has a great atmosphere that really stands out. The selection of food stalls is solid, with a nice variety and no overlap in what’s on offer. You order food directly from the individual counters, and drinks are handled separately at the main bar. There’s plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, with cosy booths for smaller groups and open plan areas if you're in a bigger crowd. I visited around 8pm and it was still buzzing. It’s pet and family friendly, which adds to the relaxed atmosphere. One of the best things is the range of cuisines. There are some niche options you might not normally try, all in one place and in an approachable way. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it. The vendors close around 9pm, if they stayed open later, it could easily become one of Manchester’s go-to late night food spots.
Aziz R — Google review
A wonderful food court with local independent shops of global cuisine. Nice view and great food choices too. The toilets are clean, kids have playgrounds with sandy bed. The bar has good choices of beer and drinks. Reasonable price for the portion of dishes provided.
King C — Google review
A fantastic place and whether you’re looking for a quick bite to eat or a full evening and night out it’s great. The large bar in the centre serves a really wide range of drinks, including many more unique options on draught to help compliment the food choices and the prices are reasonable, along with the service being fast. When it comes to the food options I can’t think of a genre missing and every stall was fast with the service, huge portion sizes and everything cooked perfectly. Given the more independent nature the prices were reasonable and the whole evening was sociable and unique. I’ll certainly be returning and would recommend a visit to anyone!
Steve B — Google review
I loved this place! Great atmosphere, even at 6pm on a Friday night. Good variety of foods and lots of options for those with dietary requirements. I opted for the vegan platter from House of Habesha and it was FINE! Also had a cocktail because it Is Friday after all.
E S — Google review
Really lovely place for relaxed, and varied dining. The variety of options is very good and there is indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are helpful but all food is collect yourself. The text message alerts are very useful. We are from Leopard Pies, Bok Bok and Fuego 1987 and all of the food was awesome!
Joe C — Google review
We visited this week, in a sunny, warm evening. The space is massive with enough tables and chairs to accommodate everyone. There are QR codes on the tables so you can log your order yourself on the website. There is no table service so you have to order and collect your food yourself. You also have to grab your drink from the bar yourself. The food options are endless and there is something to cater for everyone's appetite, Carribean, Indian, Mexican, Italian, Korean, Palestinian, Ethiopian, Greek, Vietnamese cuisines and so much more. We sat outside and the view was stunning. Great vides, great atmosphere and good food. Highly recommend!
Andy T — Google review
Visited Kargo Food Hall (Kargo MKT) on a Friday afternoon and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was really chilled — busy enough to feel lively but still relaxed and comfortable. There’s a great mix of food stalls offering everything from street-food classics to more unique dishes, and the quality was excellent across the board. The staff were friendly and the setting by the water makes it even nicer. Perfect spot to unwind with good food and a drink — can’t wait to go back in the evening sometime!

I visited this café to pick up a lunch box and politely asked to have my tomato soup replaced with a different kind, as I have an allergy to tomatoes. However, as I was making my request, a passing manager—a woman with an Eastern European accent—rudely and unprofessionally interrupted the conversation. She dismissively told me, “You’re not allowed to choose, take what you’re given,” and then said something in her language that was clearly unpleasant. I stayed in the café for about 20 minutes after purchasing a coffee and noticed that a large man, likely a relative of hers, arrived. He never approached the counter to order, yet she brought him a substantial amount of food. They sat and talked in their language for a long time during working hours while he ate before eventually leaving. Unfortunately, experiences like this—with such unprofessional staff 👎🏻—make me not want to return to this café. The only pleasant person from the staff was the young guy, who was exceptionally polite and always smiling🥰

Nipped in for a couple of coffee’s as a friend had recommended me to check out the 99p filter coffee! This is probably the cheapest filter coffee I have seen for ages!

Amazing customer experience. Honestly fair engaging and talkative. Gave me a genuine smile. Their staff honestly made me think. I don't want to go to an other cafe. Was concered about the sugar in the still drinks but they said try if on the house. I liked it ill come back for more. I would like to thank george for the experience.

Indian restaurant
Tandoori Delights is a must-visit spot in MediacityUK for those craving delicious and reasonably priced food. This eatery offers a diverse menu featuring Indian, Fast Food, Asian, Middle Eastern, and Pakistani cuisines with options for Halal and Vegetarian dishes. The lamb dishes are particularly noteworthy for their tenderness and rich flavors. Customers rave about the well-balanced spiciness and appetizing blend of spices in the dishes.
The lamb I had was excellent, which was tender and flavourful. I already forgot the name of that dish, but it was the 'medium' one, (I bet it was Lamb Jalfrezi?) which was just fine for me, as well as for my kid. It was the kind of 'a bit spicy' so he was sticking his tongue out, but so delicious at the same time that he kept coming back for more. The taste was well balanced with a lot of spices, with a bit of sourness (from tomato I guess) which was simply appetising. The sauce was perfect for both rice and naan, and the meat was just great. The portion was generous as well; when you order the 'curry portion', even after they have increased their prices in April due to inflation, it was great value for money. We enjoyed their curry so much with their naans. Heartily recommended, and we are going back again and again since our first visit.
Cheryl H — Google review
As a certified brokie, this place is absolutely unreal value. 9.99 for curry rice naan salad and drink can't be beaten. Cheaper than Kargo and the food has that homemade taste about it, really enjoy it here
Will B — Google review
The Tikka Masala was very tasty and hit the spot. It took a few minutes for them to prepare it but it was honestly worth the wait as it was fresh. The pricing was not too bad as well. Looking forward to retuning.
Ebun O — Google review
During my visit to Tandoori Delights, I found the taste of the food to be quite good. However, I believe the presentation and serving of the food could use some improvement. The curry served with rice and the salads with naan were not presented in the most appealing manner. Specifically, the salads and chutneys were quite liquid and juicy, which made the naan soggy. Charging a little extra for better quality food presentation would be a wise choice. While the quantity and taste of the food were commendable, finding an alternative way to serve it without compromising its original essence would enhance the overall dining experience. Overall, Tandoori Delights offers delicious food, but refining the serving style could significantly elevate the dining experience.
Shikha A — Google review
Really nice gentleman he could see we were struggling with our children as they had spilt their milk and were hungry he had whole milk in the back and offered us some. Now the food. Make sure you say “DESI - style” damn it’s spicy - Honestly I was slightly apprehensive but once I tasted it my goodness it changed my view. I can’t lick the plate anymore.
Abdu S — Google review
I have been to many tandoori shops around Manchester and Salford and this place is hands down the best. Situated in a food hall upstairs in the shopping mall in Media City, Tandoori Delights is an absolute gem. They serve a variety of Halal food and soft drinks and are very reasonably priced. I usually get the mixed kebab but there are many other dishes including curries and bhajis, nan breads etc. The samosas are fantastic and pretty much a meal on their own. There is plenty of seating in the upstairs food hall and it is a nice alternative to Kargo Market on the downstairs floor. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Thanks for reading

Chicken tikka masala was good. Veg samoosas have too much cumin. Located in a food court setting, so seating is obviously dependent on how busy the centre is.

Fat Pat’s is a popular spot in Chinatown known for its hefty sub sandwiches, including cheesesteaks and hot honey chicken. The limited menu allows the focus to be on perfecting each dish, resulting in mouthwatering offerings that impress both chicken lovers and steak aficionados. Customers rave about the crispy onions and garlic parm sauce, making it a must-visit for sandwich enthusiasts looking for a satisfying take-out experience.
I tried both the Philly Cheesesteak and the Hot Honey Fried Chicken sandwiches at Fatpatz, and they were absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot on, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Surprisingly I preferred the Hot Honey Fried Chicken, as it was saucy and full of flavour. While the prices are a bit higher compared to other spots, the taste and portion sizes make it worth the splurge. Definitely a great place if you’re craving a solid, flavorful sandwich. You have to order online, and depending on how busy they are waiting times vary, and drinks menu is limited so best to bring your own.
Naeem I — Google review
Omg this is so tasty! I ordered the chips and aubergine sandwich and honestly 10/10 for both. So filling and so much flavour, definetly recommend this place. Sounds pricey for a sandwich but the portion size is huge and so filling its worth it and you wont regret
Beth S — Google review
Tucked away in an alleyway in Manchester's Chinatown is this blink and you miss kind of hole in the wall takeaway spot. I am serious about Fat Pat's being a hole in the wall as all they got is a window to handover your orders. Now coming to their famous sub sandwiches, I have to say I was genuinely impressed by how amazing those were. We got both their honey chicken and Philly cheese steak sandwiches and both were top notch when we ate it back in our hotel rooms. For the four of us, who don't want massive lunches, the two foot long subs with their crinkle cut fries were more than enough. I have to say that this spot is well worth repeat visits.
Vincen — Google review
My gosh, what a place. We ordered midday and collected our sandwiches in the evening. I opted for the steak sandwich, a delicacy to the mouth. The honey chicken was also top tier. Both sandwiches had a beautiful flavour and you can tell it was with the freshest of ingredients. Well worth the hype :,).

perfectly deliciously mind blowing food. Had a 4.45pm slot after booking at 8.45am and still waited 20 mins in a queue. Hot Honey done correctly. Everything - salad & sauce paired so lovely! THAT BREAD TOOOOO - WOOOOHH kudos to you - Huge portion size can definitely see what the hype is about! Food was delicious please do not make me wait in that alleyway again
Sara P — Google review
Fat Pat’s is down a bin alley, like actual bins. You’ll see it from the queue at the window. Order ahead, it’s collection only. We both got the hot honey chicken. Sweet, spicy, massive. Milk roll is soft but doesn’t fall apart. Flavours were so good. Think it might be the best sub we’ve had. Hype’s definitely fair.
Bridie B — Google review
A bit overpriced. You can’t order in person. Only online orders. The crispy honey hot chicken was good. But the phily cheese was ok. Portions are good but not like enormous. One can easily satisfy your hunger.

This may have ruined sandwiches for me forever! They are a bit pricey but they’re huge, so we ended up sharing one. The hot honey fried chicken was 10/10!

The food is freshly prepared to order and served hot. The restaurant has a no-nonsense setting with a recently refurbished dining area. Customers have praised the quality of the BBQ chicken and the value meal deals. Some have noted that despite being quiet at times, the service has been consistently good over the years.
I always used to come here around 8 years ago, the BBQ chicken wrap was and still is my favourite. I cant believe how consistent and delicious they still are. Gives me good memories of the old days. Thank you so much to the staff service and speed for making my day as always!!

Good, a bit on the pricey side though. A note on the food court: people who work there are so rude! There were 3 of them chatting loudly and making funny noises and laughing, next to my table. The lady was slamming thd trays while emptying & stacking them. Not great place!

Located on the canteen in the Lowry Outlet, had been there multiple times. The food is fresh and delicious, especially the peri-peri chicken rice and pink lemonade. Food is usually served fast (within about 7 minutes usually). The prices are a bit steep, but worth it overall. The staffs are friendly. I would definitely recommend trying if you’re by the area.

Whoever is handling this place , kindly guide your staff about how to cook and how to serve customers . Got a burger and wrap and regreting to core for chosing this place and wasting money . I have never seen a burger smaller and empty than this . Wrap was a tortilla just wrapped with a tiny chicken piece ???!! Omg !! Are you guys for real ? Expensive place without any reason and this is exactly same reason why you people don’t have any customers ! No sauces or even a lettuce in neither burger nor in wrap !! I am wondering how you people are still operating this place ! Also the worst customer service ever ! Won’t be visiting again and won’t recommend this place !

We were served spoiled chicken with a strong, unpleasant smell. When we raised the issue, the person claiming to be the owner rudely told us to “explain the smell,” said he would not admit the chicken was spoiled, and even threatened to call security, when I said to surely call the security, member of their team started apologising. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. Not recommended.

The best sushi bar in Manchester!!! The sushi are perfection and the drinks are delicious and instagramabley. The pictures tell you exactly what I meant. The atmosphere is amazing, you can watch football or other sports and enjoy the great food and drinks. I really recommend the place!!!

The food is fantastic !! Most of the staff were great, very smart and happy, there were a few staff members not in uniform who made it look a little scruffy, maybe called in at the last minute but were clearly not happy we even heard one say they hated serving 🤣 The atmosphere is odd, loud cheesy 80’s pop music shame it’s not Japanese music and the tables are very close together Did I mention the foods amazing

I have eaten at all the Unagi restaurants, their Sushi is unmatched! Absolutely delicious! When the new venue opened (took over Lime bar - Although they have been serving in there for a number of years now) with it being opposite my partners apartment, also offering 50% off selected items, it was a must! We ordered way too much food, as usual! Enjoyed every bit of it, our sever ‘Stephen’ was great, new to the team, but we will be back for him and the Sushi! Well done Unagi - Absolutely owning the Sushi game in Manchester 🍱🍣

Have been here a few times now since it opened and I can honestly say that it is much improved since it's shaky start. Excellent food, lovely staff and reasonably priced for we what you receive. One of the best Japanese restaurants I have had the pleasure to patronise.
G L — Google review
We used to eat the sushi here when it was Lime Bar, apparently after 11 years or more they just fancied a change. So same people just different name and aesthetics. Personally I say don't fix what's not broken. This place used to always have customers so we had booked a table but there was no need. The decor is just too bright, white tables and chairs where before there were more warm comfy tones. It does not look like a place where people can just choose to sit and have a drink, it just looks like a seaside restaurant. The sushi itself we really enjoyed, we had the 40 piece platter where there was two of everything at least and a nice selection no cucumber maki cop outs. We also shared the pumpkin croquettes and spicy edamame. The service was friendly and they left us to it to catch up which was nice just at one point could not see them to grab the bill. Overall sushi and service great but I hope these aesthetic changes don't negatively impact their business. I would say please paint the chairs red or a darker colour at least though.

Last visted September 2024. I was surprised to see this place replace The Lime bar. Decides to give it a go. Solo dining is fine here. Sat at the square bar surrounding the sushi chef. Service was good (Sunday evening) and so was the food. Freshly main and very presented. As a local, I have been here a few times. Will update the pics every time.

Been here multiple times and to different branches too, would say one of the better Japanese restaurants in Manchester. Food: all great quality, big variety aswell with baos, rice, sushi and noodles. Atmosphere: as located in media city it matches the ambiance, well lit and good dining vibes. Price: decently priced though sensible for the location with happy hour deals for drinks throughout the week. Service: great service, went here as a big group and small, and staff were very attentive and friendly.

I went for dinner with friends on a friday night, we hadn’t booked so we had a drink at the bar whilst we waited a short while and then they managed to get us a lovely booth table. I ordered the mango spicy margaritas which I didn’t expect to be a frozen cocktail but it was so delicious! I ordered the tofu yakisoba and some salt and pepper chips, my friends ordered ramens and sides of gyozas and horomaki. The sushi was so fresh, the gyozas were perfectly crispy and so were the chips. My yakisoba was so good and the perfect portion. The food did take a while due to a printing error - this did not ruin our experience as the staff were quick to notice and let us know, they even got us some drinks on the house which was a lovely and well appreciated gesture. we ordered the Tokyo ice tea which was not too strong and the perfect level of sweet. We didn’t see the dessert menu as we were truly full but I will return soon for more !

Good for what you get, it's a fast food what did you expect? Michelin star? I went to Manchester on a field trip with my uni. Me and my mate got off the coach absolutely ravenous and we b-lined here, and the second we got out food life seemed beautiful again and we did everything we set out to do. I don't even know what I got I just know I asked for extra cheese and man did they deliver. There's my lunch with the most godly haze of light over it.

Ehtisham A — Google review
The food was cold to warm but not hot, some chips were raw, the drinks machine produced a diet coke that tasted like carbonated water (gross). Our "loaded" fries barely had any toping. Was very disappointed in the food. The servers also seem to put ordered in "ready to collect" as soon as they are placed so you have no idea on how long they will be. Normally it goes into ready when it's basically done, not when just started, so you know it will be ready very soon. This was annoying as everyone was crowding the collection desk. Won't be going back to this one.

I visited on Friday night and the staff and service were excellent. I really enjoyed my food. There was a staff member named Divakar who was so friendly and helpful—he even assisted me in ordering from the kiosk. I was really happy to receive my order so quickly, especially during such busy hours. Truly the best Burger King store!
Mumu K — Google review
The food was good. However, the staff seemed stressed and unmotivated. Maybe because it was a hot sunny afternoon and they had to work, I don't know. There were a few flies zooming around, which signalled to me that cleanliness is an issue. Despite the above, I would eat there again if I were hungry. But it would be takeout next time.
Celestine E — Google review
I don’t like leaving reviews like this because every time I’ve been into this Burger King, I’ve had nothing but great experiences. But I had quite a bad experience yesterday (on the 22nd of June) that I feel I should share - just so you can either help this individual improve, if he was having a bad day or something, or at least be aware in case this happens to anyone else with health problems. Like I say, in the past it’s always been really good. But the guy who I believe was the staff manager was incredibly dismissive and kept insisting that I use the self-service machine, even though I explained quite clearly that my order was allergy-related and couldn’t be placed properly that way. He kept saying it would work out the same price, but the price wasn’t the issue. My concern was making sure the order was handled correctly because of my health (and you can’t actually place the order I need through the machine but he wasn’t interested). I even asked if I could deal with another member of staff, but he ignored that and just kept telling me to go back to the machine. He was incredibly dismissive, came across as arrogant and incredibly patronising. When I said I’d have to leave it if I couldn’t place the order at the counter, he just said “Okay” and walked away. Again, I really don’t like leaving a negative review, especially for a business that’s been so good to me over the past seven months. Every time I’ve gone in, the staff have always been really accommodating regarding my health condition, and I’ve had a lot of good experiences. But this guy, unfortunately, was not. It’s not that I want him to get into trouble — I just think maybe it would help if he could be shown how to deal with people a bit more respectfully, especially when it comes to customers with health problems who could become very unwell if not taken serious. Sometimes it’s important to stop and actually listen instead of just sending people back to the machine to avoid doing the order manually. I know this order can be placed at the till, because I’ve done it several times over the past few months without any problem.

Subway is a delightful casual dining experience where you can create your own sandwiches and salads, catering to health-conscious eaters. With an astonishing array of over 38 million combinations, the possibilities are endless! Choose from freshly baked breads made with British flour and fill them with a variety of delicious cheeses (including vegan options), protein-rich meats, and crisp veggies. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty sub or a refreshing salad, Subway allows you to customize your meal just the way you like it.
Subway Turkey Sub with all the salad bits on 9 grain wheat bread! been wanting to have a proper subway sandwich Not going to lie I was very tempted to get a salad as that's what I used to have but I knew deep down that wouldn't be what I really wanted and wouldn't be enough...!it was a big deal for many reasons and my head is now screaming I just felt like way too much and my head was telling me there was way more than my usual lunch options but realistically I know it isn't and I needed this! I really am trying to push myself & and I'm determined not to restrict my other meals to compensate as I know that defeats the object i'm not engage in other behaviours. it was super tasty though and even better then I remember subway sandwiches to taste! I know this man is artificial but I just love that sweet bread percent and this really didn't disappoint! The bread was so soft and doughy and Turkey has to be one of my favourite fillings The next time I would try to fish myself do you have a sauce or something on it to make it even nice! But baby steps once again I did this completely off my own back and asked for myself my parents really aren't being that supportive and I had to have this by myself when I got home and I just felt even more guilty for doing it but I know what I need to do and this is my recovery. Thankyou for the beautiful service and lovely food guys

Today we decided to take Subway for the first time in Arndale, which is located near Aldi. We have already eaten in this chain and know that there is a menu for £ 3.99, which includes a snack and a drink with a sandwich. Throughout the service we asked what is included and what is not included in this sandwich to get the menu for £ 3.99. We asked the staff what we can include and agreed on all the ingredients, because there are no self-service screens there. But at the checkout we overpaid twice, because our order was not correct, although we agreed on each ingredient with the staff. It was the worst experience and I do not recommend anyone to eat here, because you will be deceived and you will overpay. We are hungry, because this food was not enough. Not satisfied, because for this money it was possible to eat in another restaurant. This was our last visit, we will never return, and we will also tell all our friends and acquaintances about this terrible experience.

Pretty poor experience at this Subway in Arndale. As you can see from the images, the lad that made it squeezed it tight, and added about 3 pieces of red pepper, few pieces of onion and 3 jalapeños! I know the cost of living is an issue, but I didnt know we were rationing salads! I'd avoid this place.

The worst place ever,i wouldn't recommend to visit this place. Staff rude, and don't care about the customer's,and don't listen questions about their products. If you want to visit subway better go to the place with the screens and make the orders from them, that will safe your time and good mood.

Unnecessary Arrogance and an attitude uncalled for. I don’t usually put reviews anywhere good or bad, but I had to get this one through to you guys. I understand working in an F&B outlet is tough and there are bad days for everyone, But from what I have observed (only for this particular outlet) after having been here thrice is that the staff just looks irritated and annoyed all the time. Either they are super unhappy with what they are doing with their lives or maybe they are “selectively” pleasant. The rolling of the eyes, not helping the elderly for something as small as tissues. The tone in which they speak, everything is disappointing. The staff needs to go through the duties and responsibilities of the job and be made aware of what they signed up for. Also, having worked in F&B earlier in my life, Let me tell you that these are not the kind of people you want “Welcoming” your loyal customers. Love the Brand as Always. Great food, Great customer service everywhere except this outlet. Kindly take note

Best outside area for casual catch-ups coffee cocktails and eats. I’ve done breakfast lunch and dinner in this spot since lockdown abs it always delivers. Cute environment, love the local vibes, kiddy and doggie friendly! Try the coffee and the daiquiri!!
Sally H — Google review
Good food (wings and chicken burgers), reasonably priced drinks and a fun unusual space to hang out in. Kids enjoyed it, adults enjoyed it, quirky and fun place for the summer 👍
James C — Google review
I like the food from the Ethiopian place. Which is what I get each time.
