1Le Méridien Ra Beach Hotel & Spa

Wedding venue
Le Méridien Ra Beach Hotel & Spa is a luxurious resort located on the beautiful Sant Salvador Beach of Costa Daurada. The hotel offers posh rooms and suites, four restaurants, beach cabanas, and a refined spa for guests to enjoy. Guests can indulge in thalassotherapy treatments using seawater and take advantage of the spa's relaxing facilities. The hotel also features an outdoor swimming pool and contemporary decor inside its 1920s building.
We stayed at this hotel for three nights after spending four days exploring Barcelona, simply looking to unwind by the beach—and it was the perfect spot for that. We visited in late May 2025 and couldn’t have timed it better: the weather was beautiful, and the beach was pleasantly uncrowded. There were plenty of restaurant options within a 10-minute walk, making it easy to enjoy great food without going far. The hotel also offers a kids club on weekends, which is a great option for parents looking to relax, though we didn’t get a chance to try it. We booked a junior suite facing the beach, and the view was absolutely stunning! There were weddings on both Friday and Saturday nights, and we loved being able to enjoy the celebrations and the ocean views right from our window. The hotel itself is very modern and stylish—we absolutely loved it. I only wish we had stayed a few more days before heading home. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. This hotel truly defines what a five-star experience should be. We will definitely be back!

We, as a family with two kids and a small dog, stayed at this lovely hotel for 12 days in July 2025—and we had an absolutely wonderful experience! The breakfast buffet and evening meals were delicious, and having the beach right in front of us was simply brilliant. What truly made our stay special was the outstanding staff: we were given a complimentary upgrade to a larger room, which allowed us to enjoy the property even more. The hotel is perfect for families, and we can highly recommend it! P.S. The rooftop pool is also a highlight—relaxing with a beautiful view. We hope to return soon!

Had a 9 days stay for a work conference. The team at the front desk - Martin, Ricardo were friendly and Martin was v helpful when the first room assigned to me was not too good and he assisted me to change after making sure the new room was better. Location is great and the food services was also on point, massage from Sila at the spa was also wonderful, highly recommended !
Doreen L — Google review
We spent 5 nights in this hotel. At first we were put in a standard room, and the view from the balcony was not very pleasing, then we were moved to a suite. And life immediately sparkled with other colors, and the view of the sea was also pleasing. In general, the hotel is good. The staff is responsive. The bartender in the lobby makes excellent cocktails. The pool on the roof is large. There are enough sun loungers by the sea for everyone. Breakfasts are good. But what impressed me most in the restaurant was the seafood buffet. A large selection, simply excellent. We recommend!

Le Méridien Ra Beach Hotel & Spa is a beautiful hotel with a fantastic beachfront location. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the experience. The town is only a short walk away (about 10 minutes), making it convenient if you want to explore beyond the hotel. The rooftop pool, however, was a little disappointing — it didn’t feel very clean and the water was quite cold, so we didn’t enjoy it as much as expected. On the other hand, the spa is excellent. I had a massage there and would definitely recommend it if you have the chance, as it’s a real highlight of the stay. When dining in town, don’t expect fine dining or high-end restaurants. The food is decent, there are plenty of options to choose from, but the quality isn’t outstanding. Most waiters in town don’t speak much English, which occasionally made ordering a bit tricky, but we actually appreciated the authentic and local feel that came with it. Overall, the hotel is a great place to relax by the beach, enjoy the spa, and soak in the atmosphere of the area, with just a few minor drawbacks.
Mrs E — Google review
This was our second time staying at this hotel, last year we stayed here and grew fond of the hotel and the local restaurants and how close it was to the beach. We are a family of 4 and have 2 young children so thought we would go here again as it was very close to the beach and liked the hotel. But this year the hotel doesn’t live up to its 5 star ratings, the rooms are very old but the worse thing about the rooms is the bathrooms how the hotel is getting away with being a 5 star with these bathrooms is shocking! We had 3 rooms this year as my parents and brother decided to join us, every room we had the bathrooms had an awful smell and got constantly clogged up and leaked. We reported these cases so many times to reception that we finally gave up as they always sent the same guy up and basically the same problem occurred a few hours later. The towels they provide shouldn’t be ok for a 3 star hotel let alone a 5 star hotel, they are old, they smell and some even have holes in them. The hotel has also decided to charge you extras for everything it seems and have raised the prices so high that we paid less for staying at the Atlantis in Dubai this year! It’s such a shame as the location is great and close to the beach so perfect for families and the local food is amazing. We would have happily gone back every year but until the rooms get a full refurb and they start to actually live up to the 5 star rating we will not be going back. The staff at the beach are great and very friendly and the staff at breakfast and dinner are also great. One other thing the beach is public so even tho you are paying premium prices you will have other locals close by that leave rubbish over night with no bins on the beach whatsoever so be wary with kids as you have old cigarettes and other rubbish always around. We were truly disappointed as you would expect especially for returning clients they would make an effort and address the issues and concerns raised but it seems they just care about charging you for everything they can! They have refurbished the spa but you need to pay extra to use the spa. Anyways what was a great hotel in a perfect location is now below standards which extortion prices!

Right on the beach, walking distance on a walkway to untold numbers of beach bars with all sorts if foods, wines and beers. Hotel has major breakfast included. Daytime food is lacking, especially during swing seasons when beach bar isn’t open but easy enough to walk for food and drink. Night time menu seems limited, to finicky American but, again, many walkable options. The beach has free umbrellas and chairs and the Med. Water is so smooth and warm. Several interesting wineries nearby, short cab rides or multiple options with rental car rides away in Penedes wine region, not far away. We’ve been there twice, coming off cruises ending in Barcelona. Wouldn’t mind going again. It’s a great way to extend a New Englanders summer into fall.

Absolutely beautiful location, and astounding architecture! Beautiful sunsets and good food too. I will say it’s quite pricey, but my parents are paying not me! The staff was very friendly and accommodating too.

Gorg de la Febró is a must-see waterfall located at the crossing of Barranc de Foradada river. The area features a stunning rock formation with an opening that serves as the outlet for the Febro waterfall's plunge pool, creating a beautiful natural swimming spot. Visitors can embark on an approximately one-hour hike from the parking area to reach the first waterfall, with even more secluded falls waiting further into the gorge.
Amazing place, but the first waterfall El Gorg didn’t have any water, the second El Gurguet was nice.

Great place for hiking, We did the hike with our 4 year old which was quite challenging, but possible. The reward was great, cristal clear water and super refreshing! Park at km26 of the road to El Febro and then take the walk down and follow the signs to Gorg. When you reach the river, turn left and follow one of the trails. Highly recommended!
Ronald B — Google review
This place is absolutely amazing. A friend of mine from the area and I found it on a map and drove from Tarragona. From the parking spot, it's about an hours hike to the first waterfall. Continue further into the gorge to find even better, more secluded falls. We went in July and there was still plenty of water to be found. This is a must see if you're in the region and enjoy the outdoors.
Will M — Google review
This place is so pretty, though you need to be adventurous enough to find the waterfall. What we did is park in the village where Maps brought us, then walk down the only path that went into the forest and follow the river. We ended up by finding it, it was amazing.
Audrey L — Google review
Very nice river with a waterfall and a large pool to jump into, just get ready for cold water. Some 20-30min walk from the road

Very nice and spectacular views, although there was almost no water. Long walk to get there over unpaved roads, hard for small children....

Hotel Palas Pineda is a fantastic choice for a getaway, whether you're traveling solo, with your partner, family, or friends. The hotel offers top-notch facilities including indoor and outdoor pools, sports courts, and a spa. The spacious rooms come with complimentary water and the buffet meals are varied and delicious. Situated in Salou on the Costa Dorada, it's just 100 meters from La Pineda resort and the beautiful sandy beach.
Today, 13.07.25, I met a girl, Anya, at the reception. She is incredible, kind, beautiful, polite. The service at the hotel is very good! Anya helped explain how to pay the parking fine. This is not her duty, but it was polite! I ask the hotel to give Anya a bonus for her work and inspiration for hotel guests!

Staff was friendly and helpful. In all, it was not the best experience. The hotel is a tourist money machine. Anyway, not much is being done for maintenance and cleaning. 3 days, there were hairs and dust under the table, cause the cleaning stuff was obviously too lazy to move it. Wardrobe without doors, shabby and dusty. One day they forgot to clean the room. The TV had a long, bug scratch. The fridge was muddy inside. No shelves. In the bathroom, loose holders never were fixed. Thr sink drain cannot be closed. The room is not sound proof. So you hear the neighbors and the people outside. If someone was knocking at the neighbors door, it sounds like the own. In all, very noisy. Limited parking lots. I didn't get a space at arrival. Internet was bad, especially outside the terrace. Breakfast only as from 8am. There's not any style of fish offered. Pool area totally overcrowded. For using the gym, you have to go to the reception to register. Very small room, less training opportunities. If you're not alone, it's pointless to train. The hotel is located in a beautiful location near the sea. Breakfast and dinner are served buffet-style, but the quality of the food leaves much to be desired. There's a lack of fresh fruit and vegetables. English breakfast is available, but of very poor quality. I strongly advise against purchasing breakfast. The bar is open until 11 p.m. Two beers at the bar cost 5 euros. A cocktail costs 8.90 euros. The rooms are quite large and spacious, with a clean bathroom. Room cleaning is available upon request. There's no room service. Parking is available for 12 euros per day or free on the street, although there are no parking spaces. The hotel is worth a visit, but it doesn't meet the standards of a 4-star hotel.
Dora J — Google review
We came to this hotel with the expectation to enjoy some days of vacation as a couple, but the experience didn't met it. One of the most dissapointing points was the buffet, which was really repetitive, monotonous and didn't include Spanish typical dishes such as gazpacho, churros with chocolate, arroz con leche... Although they served some paella it didn't taste as it, like if they had just cooked some rice with sea food or meat. We clearly looked for the opportunity to try them in a four- star hotel, but in this one you won' t find them. Besides, there wasn't any fruit for breakfast and just a little during lunch. We' ve read some recent reviews and we' ve come to the conclusion that many other people agrees with us, but from the hotel you receive no answer. They just reply to the good comments instead of trying to improve the bad stuff clients let them know.

If I could give this hotel a zero I would . This was a very terrible stay. They were not accommodating at all. We booked for two twin beds they did nothing to accommodate us. We kept checking everyday and it was the same story not possible to accommodate. The room was small the air conditioner did not work at all for our whole stay. We kept complaining everyday they would not change our room. It was in August middle of summer 95 degrees weather with no air conditioner. The worst experience ever!!! Hopefully you will have better luck then me and my daughter did!!! zero star,, no star!!!!

We have been coming here for years and always enjoy it. Staff: 9/10 All absolutely wonderful, especially the men on reception. The dining room staff are also extremely friendly and kind. Cleanliness: 5/10 Not good at all. The bathroom wasn't cleaned very well.... especially the toilet. There was also a couple of pubic hairs on my sheet so I slept under my beach towel instead. Accommodation: 8/10 We reserved an apartment. Other than the cleanliness, it was very good. Maybe lacking a couple of tiny details to elevate the rooms to a four star standard but perfectly adequate. Animation team: SHOW 1/10 I hate to say it but tonight I sat through the most amateur 'show' of my life. The team was enthusiastic but this show was uncomfortably embarrassing to watch. Kitchen (we had an apartment): Perfect! A coffee machine would have been welcome but luckily I had brought my own perculator just in case. Buffet: 8/10 The variety of the food is good 7/10. The quality is good 7/10. Dining room staff: 9/10. Pools: 8/10. There is an 'Adults only' pool which is wonderful because the other pools are very noisy. This is a great hotel for families and, despite the minor issues, I would still recommend it.
Patricia W — Google review
Rooms & hotel are nice. Pool is the best bit about the resort. Staff are sometimes rude and seem like you are an inconvenience to them. Food is terrible, poor and same choices every night. No mix up on the options just the same old stuff. All pork and no other meat, and if there is another choice then it is halal only. Probably the worst standard of food for a hotel ive been too so won’t be coming back. Unfortunately i can recommend👎
Jake S — Google review
Zero star hotel! The worst hotel experience ever, no idea how this has four stars. Air Conditioning was completely BROKEN in my room it was so hot and uncomfortable. Didn’t sleep at all due to heat Food was no good and SAME EXACT food everyday The toilet would barely flush, unsanitary The rooms smelt. Fridge didn’t work in room Tiny beds Outdated rooms nothing like the pictures Hot tub ? Yeah it’s a cold tub good luck Walls so thin every night kids running up and down hallways couldn't sleep Cleaning staff would hear them first thing in the morning The list goes on Asked to switch rooms about 5 times and for twin beds staff refused any help. On the last day they asked how was my stay I said horrible they said I should have talked to management about a complimentary upgrade but for days the staff told me there’s noting they can do about any of my issues staff was pretty rude and non helpful or accommodating

Hi, my friends and myself had an amazing time. I quite literally can't find a fault. We had all inclusive and was amazing. So much choice of food and drinks. The entertainment was great, both during the day and the evening. Was an awesome way to spend a lovely week. Already looking at booking for next year. Would highly recommend

We arrived on our first night fairly late in the night, we still had a warm welcome and a food recommendation as we were there after dinner service finished. The staff were incredible at every step, all of them speaking several languages well and swapping between flawlessly for all guests, every one of them were helpful and friendly. The options for food and drinks were impressive and the food exceeded expectations, even when made in bulk there were premium cuts of meat cooked to perfection. The chef's and cooks would make certain things to order and to your preference too. The rooms were a good size and all had balconies, the products used in the bathroom were quality and smelled amazing. The TV (though not used much because the entertainment and pool were incredible) was large, had TV channels from across the world and connectivity to let you watch what you want streamed from your phone. The rooms had large amounts of storage, suitable for a couple on a longer stay. Finally the activities and staff running then are the best part of the experience, they would make everybody feel included and encouraged, the variety of activities suited to people of all ages and fitness levels. All of the staff were phenomenal but I want to give a special shout-out to Andrea and Christian, the heart of the Hotel.

We loved our stay. We arrived and were greeted with a glass of champagne, and were also upgraded to a bigger room. Our room was spacious and quiet, it had great amenities, and was very clean. My partner and I are in the under 30 age bracket, most guests are older so the vibe is quiet. However, this made for a very calm and relaxed atmosphere. The day and evening entertainment was good fun, we even won a bottle of cava one evening. Christian and Andrea were great at hosting the entertainment. We unfortunately had a leak in our room on the second day, due to the rain. We made the reception staff aware of this, and it was dealt with so professionally. We didn't want to leave our gorgeous room but we were upgraded to the top floor with an even bigger room and free passes to the spa. Food was diverse and very tasty, especially for a small hotel. Had something for everyone. The chef's work so hard, we really appreciated them. Overall a great stay, thank you to all the wonderful staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Golden Costa.

This place exceeded expectations. We read the reviews both good and poor and now believe the lower ratings were from people who are delusional. From the moment we stepped through the doors we were welcomed, and throughout our stay felt accommodated. The range of drinks (all inclusive) was excellent and of good quality. I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to food and tend to go for the basics whilst doing all inclusives. However, the food I tried was of an excellent standard, seasoned well and with apparent good hygiene. The location was excellent, a short walk from the beach and benifited from good shade and sunshine areas in the lower pool, with the rooftop pool was for the sun worshipers. Our rooms were excellent, clean, and everything was comfortable and worked to a high standard.
Andy G — Google review
Lovely hotel, staff all very friendly, we had a very small issue with our room and it was sorted instantly. We thought the pool area was a bit tight for space but the beach is only a 2 minute walk from the hotel so that was fantastic. All in all it's a wonderful place to stay and breakfast was great btw. We would definitely stay here again.

Here for 21 nights half board with Tui, from the moment we checked-in until we checked out we have loved everything, reception, dining, daily activities and the evening entertainment, our room was cleaned daily and the linen & towels were also changed daily, the hotel is spotless everywhere. First mention to young Marco at reception, very polite & attentive, Mika & Albert both ran the restaurant very efficiently, especially when busy with large tables on week 2, Jose the bartender was always smiling and good at his job, the table service was also good especially during the evening entertainment, which changed each week, the daily activities ran by Christian & Andrea were such great fun, we met so many lovely guests, Christian & Andrea were exceptional at their duties, they also ran the evening entertainment, both are such an asset to the guests at Golden Costa Salou and many guests commented that they were the reason they keep coming back, they make a great team together. Keep up the great work all at GCS, we will be back next year, to enjoy all your wonderful hospitality again.
Lindsay M — Google review
We stayed for 3 nights on a full board basis and overall had a lovely, relaxing break. We arrived in the morning and, as our room wasn’t quite ready, the hotel kindly stored our luggage so we could go out and explore the area, a smooth and easy start to our stay. Our first room, located above reception, had a slight smell on arrival which improved once we aired it out and kept the bathroom door closed. Unfortunately, the area was a little noisy late into the night, so we didn’t get the best sleep. The next morning, we asked if it was possible to move to a quieter room, and the team were very accommodating. Our new room was a bright and comfortable corner room, much more peaceful, and we slept really well for the rest of our stay. The spa area is small but pleasant. The pool was cooler than expected but has a few jets, and there’s a sauna and steam room (though the steam room was out of order during our visit). There are also a couple of heated loungers, which were lovely for relaxing. We both had massages that included 30 minutes of spa access. The treatments were fine, though the overall experience could be a bit more polished. The entertainment team were great — friendly, energetic, and offering a nice variety of games and activities throughout the day. Shout out to Christian and Andrea. We enjoyed the quizzes night and Sheila & The Weavers show. The food was good, however luke warm at times. Service was generally good, though could be a little warmer and more personal in places. All in all, we really enjoyed our few days here. Once we moved rooms, we had a restful and relaxing stay. Thank you to the team for looking after us!

I think it's wonderful when you go to a hotel and meet new people, and the hotel is good in itself. This hotel however is not that. We have spent 10 nights here and not only made friends with other visitors, but we have felt welcomed by every single staff member to a point that they not only recognise our drink orders, but we feel we will genuinely miss them. We have even agreed with our group of new friends that we will all rebook for about the same dates next year. I don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel like this where I not only enjoy the experience but I genuinely want to rebook, in fact we have learnt that a majority of people that stay here are frequent visitors, which is really a testament of the staff. The food is fantastic with a good variety at every meal so you can really guarantee that you will find a good meal every day. If I am being honest with myself as I sit on the balcony on my final full day here, my only complaint is that the WiFi connection just isn't that great and that my time here has gone too quickly. To summarise before I likely shed a tear at leaving: Pros: - Multiple daily activities between 10:30AM-2PM where you can win prizes - Near daily quiz nights where you can win a free bottle of champagne - All of the staff, but in particular Christian and Andrea who make you feel like you're lifelong friends, I think we will miss them the most - The view's, particularl if you're a hiker as there's a beautiful cliff side hike that starts on the beach (1 minute from the hotel) - All of the amenities, food, drinks, and added extras as requested - The rooms are comfortable and clean, in fact we have literally seen the cleaners not only clean every single glass surface daily but they have longer cleaning times than most hotels (8AM-4PM) so you know your room is scrubbed, and even on our last day they still did a full clean. Cons: - Wifi just isn't the best (only really used it to keep in contact with family) - It was difficult to win some games?

Fantastic service from the very start. I felt very welcome and seen, Misha and Pepè are such an asset that made us feel we needed to come back again and again. The drinks are soooo good and the sun lounges are worth it.

Amazing Evening by the Beach! A truly unforgettable evening with drinks right on the beach! The setup was stunning—yet relaxed—accompanied by lively music that set the perfect mood. The cocktail selection was impressive, with each drink crafted beautifully and tasting just as good. The atmosphere was vibrant yet laid-back, ideal for unwinding. Ending the night with a peaceful walk along the shoreline made it all feel magical. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect beachside evening, romantic or fun.👏😍🍸🍹⭐️🌙

Oasis is great during the day and night, the sun loungers are so comfortable and reasonably priced, the cocktails are lovely and are great value for money. There are umbrellas and canopies for shade if needed. At night time the beach club is a great place to have some drinks, the music is good, there is a good vibe, they gave us blankets at night to cover up when it was windy! All of the staff are extremely nice, fun and helpful, especially Pepe! Would definitely go back again the next time we are in salou!

When I came to Salou for the second time. I came here with friends. We found the nightlife not as crazy as we thought. however when we came across this bar we were happy. the staff are super polite and up for a laugh. They make excellent cocktails quickly and at a decent price. Nice environment with good music wasn't too busy and if it was they found seating for you. Thank you for the free shots on the last time :) I'm sure I will be back.

Came in for a coffee and a sit in the sun in the morning, about 10am, ordered coffee and sat with my partner playing cards. About 30 minutes later, we are asked to leave as they want the table back. There was nobody waiting for a table and there were others that were sitting at tables longer than we were My only conclusion was that, as we only ordered coffee, they wanted us out so they could serve more alcohol The atmosphere was nice, some good music playing, and the service was quick and friendly (and good coffee!) but being pushed out didnt feel so good

(Translated by Google) A couple of years ago it was great to go swimming. Nowadays I have had to give up because it has become a kind of semi-private club. Half of the lanes cut for courses or training and the swimming pools to burst. It's a shame because the facilities are very good and so is the price. Surely the fault is not so much Campclar and the towns in the surrounding area that do not offer such a good selection of swimming pools.

(Translated by Google) The facilities are increasingly dirty, it is true that there are cockroaches in the locker rooms, and the saunas sometimes smell bad. According to what lifeguards do not monitor and allow access to certain "groups" usually of teenagers who do not behave, they bathe with underwear, walk without flip flops and then enter the pool. The receptionists' treatment of the subscriber is frankly bad and they act lazily, and they also tell you to book when the disastrous app that was used has not even worked during the pandemic. Now they're back at it with another app that doesn't work either and makes access difficult for us. In the pool you are swimming and they put the pool cleaner on you when the pool hours have not yet ended, and sometimes they try to kick you out early. And if we talk about parking, I fear that one day there will be a disaster because people drive around and park wherever they want. In short, it is a series of realities that degrade the facilities and make you look for another place to practice sports. I firmly believe that those responsible for the facilities would have to act on this matter and the users would have to unite to reproach them for their mismanagement and defend their rights as subscribers. Everything I explain can be verified and verified today.

(Translated by Google) Things have been getting worse for a long time. Avalanches of new subscribers when the facilities have been saturated for a long time. They rent the outdoor pool for stages and other swimming clubs, leaving only two streets free for subscribers. In the fitness room the disaster is even greater, no matter what time you go there is not a single machine free, and the one that is is because it is "out of service." The only investment that has been made since the pandemic is to change the hamstring curl machine for a worse one! The only thing that matters is the income, the subscriber is treated like a sheep who is being done a favor by letting him pay. To the parking lot, in theory only for subscribers, depending on what hours it is an ordeal to park...and the management of the pool has gotten much worse in recent weeks. The other day there was a person bathing without a cap and I almost had to go and tell him, people in the sauna without a towel... there is no longer any type of control and the education and respect for the rules of many users leaves a lot to be desired to trust in self-management. Fewer apps to control where and when we are and more seriousness, return and respect for the user who is the one who pays (repays).

I should have chosen the monthly fee option I would have paid for one month and it would have cleared me, not three to go just 1. In a month I would have had enough, I stopped going 2 months after I had already paid for them because the facilities leave a lot to be desired: very old machines, some rusty, dirt, uncivil and inconsiderate people throwing the clothes you leave on the hangers in the changing rooms on the floor while you try to go to the shower (I was only able to go there 2 times) often groups of allolescents go and start playing with the machines or running around the changing rooms hitting the towels. The showers, wide, you have to wear a bathing suit there because you don't have privacy. Always full of people. Mandatory to wear a lock with a key to keep belongings, it is stressful and creates distrust.

(Translated by Google) A total disappointment: very old facilities, no maintenance and insufficient machines. After more than four years as a member, I have decided not to return. The experience has been very negative, especially for those looking for a well-equipped gym in good condition. The maintenance is terrible: machines broken for months, accessories in poor condition, pulleys and mirrors that constantly break, and a general deficit in the training room. The cleaning is also not adequate and the locker rooms, in addition to being old and neglected, are damp and need urgent renovation. The swimming area follows the same line: old pools and an obvious lack of investment in all facilities. Although the staff is friendly, complaints fall on deaf ears. There are no improvements, they only respond with minimal solutions when you insist for months or file a formal complaint (and it doesn't even get fixed) In short, I do not recommend this club to anyone who really values training under conditions. For the same price there are much better options, with modern facilities and adequate maintenance. It's a shame, because this place has history, but clearly those who run it are not doing their job or simply don't care. Fuente de la Llúdriga is a beautiful spot that can be reached by a pleasant half-hour, 2 km walk from Capafonts. The easy trail makes it suitable for families with children, offering natural pools along the river for a refreshing dip. The main attraction is the impressive and famous Gorg, but there are many more natural pools to discover if you explore the detours. Although water may not always be present, this charming destination is definitely worth a visit.

(Translated by Google) Easy walk to go with girls and boys. Little slope and short: one hour round trip if you don't stop. The trick is to detour a little earlier to be able to go bathe in the natural pools formed by the river. And from here you can return to the main path through the same place or you can continue the one that follows the river, which is more fun for the little ones since it has small climbs over the rocks and a path with denser vegetation.

Serra de Montsant is a Catalonian mountain range renowned for its vineyards and the Serra de Montsant Natural Park. The region boasts eight denominations of origin, including Catalonia, Cava, Conca de Barbera, Montsant, Penedes, Priorat, Tarragona and Terra Alta. It is often compared to a mini Priorat due to its similar elevations and soils.
The highest western vineyards held an autonomous DO, Montsant, surrounding the Priorat AOC. Montsant has a wide range of grapes that give very concentrated dry red wines. Priorat is together with Rioja the only DOCa area in Spain.

(Translated by Google) The mountains of Prades have been subjected to intense exploitation which has caused their progressive deterioration. Despite this, some peculiarities are still preserved; among the botanicals, the most important are the presence, unique in Catalonia, of colonies of reboll oak (Quercus pyrenaica), 900 meters above siliceous terrain, and the survival of the leafy century-old Poblet forest. The predominant vegetation is oak grove with marful below 750 meters. There is also mountain oak and carrascar. The martinen oak grows in the obscure areas. Valencian oak, Scots pine and pinassa grow in the calcareous highlands. Also in the lowlands is the white pine and the pine pine introduced by man. In the obagas of high areas, weaves grow with an abundance of hollyhocks. Chestnut trees introduced by man are also found. In fact, people are already waiting at the gate before 10 am. I hope that something will actually be done about this. On the evening I visited, service was slow - despite most tables being empty and there being a lot of staff (I don’t know what they were doing to be honest). Food portions for meals were quite small for the price (chicken goujons are like crumbs and chips are extra). Some meals clearly just microwaved (the curry). Others were not that warm once they reached us (via the silly robot thing). To be honest, the complex could do so much more with the restaurants. They could be busy and a place to come back to with a little effort. However, currently you are far better eating off site - better variety and value.

There is mini golf (for a fee), soccer, basketball, paddle tennis, table tennis, table football, billiards, volleyball, I would say tennis, trampolines (for a fee), the swimming pools are adequate and the 2 individual slides are the fastest in the entire campsite. The only downside is that the bar closes so soon.
