Amusement park
Theme park
PortAventura Park is a world-building theme park divided into five areas representing different continents, each with buildings and rides reflecting the culture of the country. The park features traditional entertainment facilities, roller coasters, rapids, 4D cinemas, and more. With over 1 million square meters of stunning landscape and 30,000 plant species, it offers a captivating experience.
Fantastic day out. Not been here since 2013, so 12 years on from then. We will be doing Ferrari Land another day before we leave the town. Since working out and becoming a bit wider in certain areas, I don’t fit on some of the rides. Due to the narrow bucket seats. Not a problem, but could do with a tester seat at some of the longer wait rides, so that the ride doesn’t get held up by not fitting in. Overall, very clean and enjoyable day.
Laura G — Google review
Nice theme park very spacious and organised. Very long queues and sometimes the rides get out off order due technical problems ( happened with us in several of them ) Food are overpriced for the quality and quantity and they charge a fee for the cup all the time . The shows are good decoration amazing area clean and organised. Worth a visit but you need to have patience for queues in every were
Happydays — Google review
Great experience for both adults and kids (8/10 y). We arrived on Saturday and stayed until Tuesday. A little bit crowded for top attractions but in 2 day we can touch them all. We had also checked at their hotel and I would strongly recommend, as you have 30min in advance exclusivity to the park in the morning before opening hours
Eu C — Google review
We, family of 4 (with an 8 and a 3 yo) were nicely surprised by this amusement park. We went in November during All Saints holidays and there was hardly any waiting time at the rides. Staff was really well made up for Halloween event, and the park was really nicely decorated. The only minor thing to improve would be to put a sign on the parking lot to remind people that it is forbidden to bring food and drinks to the park. An amazing experience to repeat longer next time!
Marie C — Google review
Super fun for all the family. There are a lot of attractions for small and big. Buy tickets in advance. There is a lot of people during the week and even more during the weekend. So you need to prepare yourself for a lot of queues to attractions or buy fast pass additionally, then you will not need to wait. Check the condition of fast pass as for example you will not be able to do one attraction every 15 min but you will need to have a 2h break. Don't forget to take sun cream as the is a lot of sun and not a lot of shadows. Food is not so good as there is a lot of people but it is eatable. Think to take a hotel in the park as there might be tickets to park and fast pass included and at the end it might be cheaper. If you will not get hotel in the park you will need to wait for the entrance to park a lot.
Magdalena — Google review
Amazing and very large park. If you want to ride all the thrill rides then you have to buy the express pass. Otherwise you have to stay in lines for hours and you will be absolutely disappointed and same goes for ferrari land. Puy the express pass before visiting because they will sell out fast even on weekdays.
Sigrit S — Google review
Too much waiting time. Why sell more tickets than there is space available for attractions? The reason is money — visitors’ comfort clearly isn’t the priority. Many queues are not shaded, and waiting under the sun quickly turns into a nightmare. On the positive side, the toilets are well-organized and clean. The shops, however, could be more reasonably priced given the high entrance fee. Overall, the park is beautiful and generally well-maintained.
Alexander M — Google review
This was a fantastic experience. There was lost of fantastic rides and areas to visit. Would suggest the 10 ticket fast pass for those on their first visit as the more popular rides can be a bit of a wait. However, there are plenty of rides for the family and not too long a queue. For them. The kids area "Seseme Street" was amazing for all not just the younger kids. Can't wait to go again.

Amphitheater
The Amfiteatre de Tarragona is a historic Roman amphitheater located on the coast, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Dating back to the late 1st century or early 2nd century BC, it was once a center for gruesome gladiator fights and public spectacles, as well as animal hunts. With a seating capacity of around 14,000 people, it was a prominent venue for entertainment and important events during its prime.
A beautiful journey through histwas truly unforgettable. The atmosphere is peaceful yet powerful — walking through this ancient Roman amphitheatre overlooking the Mediterranean Sea feels like stepping back in time. The site is well preserved, and the information signs helped us understand the incredible history behind it. It’s amazing to think about the events that took place here so many centuries ago. Great spot for photos, reflection, and just enjoying the moment together. Highly recommended for families, history lovers, or anyone visiting Tarragona.
Hamid A — Google review
Beautifully preserved! Great care was taken and it shows. Given the location, it is difficult to access for anyone with mobility issues so do prepare for that, but views from street level above are actually the most magnificent in my opinion. We assumed it would take 30-45 minutes to tour, but it can easily be seen in 10-15 minutes.
Allie R — Google review
The Roman Amphitheatre in Tarragona is absolutely worth a visit. It left a lasting impression on me — equally as awe-inspiring as the famous arena in Verona. Set against the backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea, it’s both a historical treasure and a visual masterpiece. Standing there, you truly feel the presence of ancient history. One interesting mathematical fact: the amphitheatre is built in an elliptical shape, which was not just aesthetic — it ensured excellent acoustics and allowed every spectator a clear view of the arena. Even by today’s standards, the engineering is remarkable. Historically, this site was used for gladiator combats and public executions during the Roman Empire. Most notably, it’s where Saint Fructuosus, a Christian bishop, was martyred in the 3rd century AD — giving the site deep spiritual and historical meaning. 👉 Visitor info (2025): The amphitheatre is open most days and is part of the “Tarragona Roman Heritage” ticket that also includes other ruins in the city. Admission is very affordable (a few euros), and entry is free on the first Sunday of each month. There are clear information panels in multiple languages, and the site is well-maintained with accessible walkways. Don’t miss the viewpoint above the amphitheatre — perfect for photos! Guided tours are available in high season, or you can use an audio guide app. Highly recommended for history lovers, architecture fans, and anyone who wants to feel the ancient spirit of Tarraco, the Roman name of Tarragona.
Aneta J — Google review
Historic place where you can see Roman ruins and later culture christian legacy build on the top of it. Impressive landscape with the sea as a background. No need to pay in order to see such wonder as it is open air and the places is very accesible.
Nelson G — Google review
Fantastic site, well worth the 5€ entry fee. Loved the glimpse of a historic amphitheatre. Audio guide gives the site information in an easy to understand form. Scan the QR code at the pay booth, choose your language and open on your phone.
Stephen T — Google review
What a scam! When walking around, you can clearly see into the ruins, yet in order to enter, they charge a five euro price. I understand the ruins are cool, but they are not worth the price and should be free. Especially since they are not hiding anything and are clearly visible. The only thing you are paying for you is the little signs that explain to you what's in there. Which, you could probably look up on a google synopsis in five minutes for the price of nothing. Get your views in, but do not pay to enter! It is not worth the money! I hope one day they can make it free.
Steve J — Google review
We didn’t go inside the Roman Amphitheater of Tarragona, since you can see almost everything from above. Being with a stroller and a small child, we felt that was enough. We took some nice photos from the viewpoint, but of course, if someone wants a closer look, it may be worth visiting inside.
Paweł — Google review
We just dropped on this place and it was set some beautiful grounds no toilets nearby and could be awkward for some disabled people

Churches & Cathedrals
The Catedral de Tarragona, also known as Santa Maria del Miracle, is a stunning architectural marvel that combines Romanesque and Gothic styles. Built between the 12th and 14th centuries on the grounds of a former Roman temple and mosque, this cathedral showcases the transition from the serene Romanesque apse to the dynamic Gothic architecture.
A deeply spiritual and moving experience Visiting the Cathedral of Tarragona was more than just sightseeing, it was a moment of deep connection with the sacred. The beauty of the Romanesque and Gothic architecture lifts the soul, and every corner of the cathedral seems to whisper centuries of prayer and devotion. The peaceful cloister invites quiet reflection, and the view is a breathtaking reminder of God’s greatness. It’s a place where faith and history meet — and the modest entrance fee is a small offering for such a grace-filled experience. Truly a blessing to be there.
Rogier T — Google review
At first we thought €12 per person was a bit steep for a cathedral, but wow it was super worth it! My husband and I spent over 1 hour admiring the beauty of the cathedral and all its rooms and artwork. The leaflet given with the entry ticket was very helpful and ensured that we got to see everything! Too bad the wifi wasn’t fast enough to listen to the online audio guide. But all in all, definitely a MUST-SEE- it was my favourite location to see in Tarragona.
Leena A — Google review
Amazing architecture, the church is so colossal it's such a marvel how people in the past manage to build it without modern day technologies! It may be more fulfilling for religious tourists, but it's a nice visit for non-religious people as well!
Vũ X — Google review
I recently visited the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Tarragona and it truly took my breath away. The architecture is absolutely stunning — a perfect blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles that showcases centuries of history. Walking through the cathedral feels like stepping back in time. One of the highlights is the peaceful atmosphere inside, which contrasts beautifully with the lively square outside. There’s a charming restaurant just next to the cathedral, and thanks to its prime location, dining there with the view of the cathedral is an unforgettable experience. A fun historical fact: the cathedral was built on the site of a former Roman temple dedicated to Emperor Augustus. This deep historical layering makes the visit even more meaningful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tarragona!
Aneta J — Google review
Very nice experience, though it costs 12€ to get in you definitely get a lot for the entrance! The free audio guide is very thorough and well done, providing a lot of interesting information. Very peaceful place :)
Victoria S — Google review
Beautiful place to visit even if you're not religious. Has roman and medieval areas, museum and a beautiful quadrangle and garden to relax and enjoy the atmosphere as well as numerous altars for saints. Shop at exiting has some nice momentoes. Nice little restaurants and bars outside selling traditional food and drink

Don't miss out on this beautiful cathedral when you are in Tarragona or in its surroundings. Truly a masterpiece and if you have the chance to listen to the organ please do so.

A beautiful place to visit. Easy to find the car park. Scan for an excellent free audio guide at the shop and then an instructive introductory video. The on-site cafe was also a pleasant surprise with fresh pastries. The audio guide gave enough information but not too much. (There was always an option for more detail.) A very pleasant couple of hours but could have easily spent more time.

We accidentally visited the monastery, but were amazed by the beauty and monumental details of this place. We even got to attend a service in the church. Highly recommended!

Very nice Monastery. Plenty of parking space. Discounts for students, not for ICOM members. The ticket lady had not a very friendly attitude for someone who works with people every day but other than that the rest of the staff very kind.

An impressive and historically important Monastery that was a mausoleom for the Aragon Royals in medieval times. Well maintained and still a working Monastery which means numerous parts are closed to the public. Worth the visit if you are close by, friendly staff but not sure if the app is worth downloading if you've done your homework!

Water & Amusement Parks
Aquopolis Costa Daurada in La Pineda Salou is a thrilling aquatic amusement park offering an array of attractions for the whole family. From giant water slides to swimming pools and marine life shows, there's something for everyone. The park also features chill-out areas where you can relax and rent loungers or floats. With its numerous restaurants, kiosks, and shops, Aquopolis Costa Daurada promises a fun-filled day out.
We all had a great time here! Myself and my partner came with our three kids (10, 7 and 2) all had a great time (contrary to my daughters face in the photo) The thing that makes me most nervous about waterparks/theme parks is the queue with children as it can really effect the day. No queue to get in and the maximum we waited was 3-4 minutes to get on a ride so it was perfect. Good mixture of slow rides for everyone and a couple of bigger/faster slides for more thrill seeking people. A few of the food places where shut down so that was limited but we went on a weekday and we went out of peak times so that was to be expected. 100% you need to get discount tickets from a local shop/hotel - they all have them! its not cheap and everywhere you go they are giving away free discounts for 25% each ticket so get them!
Jordan W — Google review
I have been visiting Spain for over six years with my family during our summer holidays, and one of the highlights of our trips has always been Aquopolis Costa Daurada. We have always looked forward to coming here, and it has brought us a lot of joy over the years. However, I’ve noticed that the infrastructure and attractions have remained largely unchanged during this time. While the park still offers enjoyable experiences, it feels like there has been little development or innovation in terms of services, facilities, or new attractions. To keep up with modern expectations and continue attracting loyal and new visitors alike, I believe it would be beneficial to consider some updates or improvements. Whether it’s renovating existing areas, adding new features, enhancing customer service, or improving guest comfort—any steps toward development would make a big difference. We truly appreciate the memories we’ve made at Aquopolis Costa Daurada, and we hope to see the park evolve in a positive way in the years to come.
Bogdan K — Google review
Clean ! This was my first impression, the water was clean not smelling like chlorine, no stinging in eyes 👀 . It’s a bit of a queue on some attractions but the staff is managing it pretty quick . The kids zone if you are with a small child is a bit crouded (normal) , even if your little one cannot swim there are free life-jackets.
Ifka S — Google review
Good day out, found this park very well suited for children all ages and adults. Recommend you get there for opening time as it gets a bit busier a couple of hours in. There are ticket deals to be had some with your holiday package and others some with McDonald's buy one get one free we where told this by another family. The price for a family of four we paid around €85. Sun beds you do have to pay i believe this was €7 each. You dont have to have one qe seen many people put a towel on the grass and there was plenty of shade. There are lockers on site wich are chargeable but we didn't use and didn't see we need to so im not sure how much these where. One of the noticeable things we noted there was plenty of lifeguards wich is really important we feel especially with small children. The rides the ones we went on was very good and a good verity, I would recommend do the volcano and black hole early as the ques for these do increase as the day goes on. If you want to maximise your slides I'd recommend a fast pass as these people didn't have to wait 3 to 5 minutes to what we saw. The smaller pool and slides are very good for young ages from baby to 10 years, there is plenty to do in for all. The waiting areas when queuing are well shaded. The food and drink we had was reasonably priced for a theme park. Belived we paid about €8 for a hot dog and it was a about a foot long. There was plenty of choice of fast food, ice cream and drinks. We took our own snacks and drinks in, no one questioned this and we seen plenty of others do the same. Signs and map was clear, plenty of toilets near by. All in all would recommend this place and found it less than half price of there competition near by. You can buy tickets on site or online. The que for buying tickets on site took us about 10 minutes and the staff spoke multiple languages. There are some individual rides and some family rides so all can go together wich is rather nice. Easy walkable from front of La Pinda, there are taxis that can go from out side and prices on the board. The bus stop is near by on the main road. Near by there are some restaurants and some local shops.
Dan L — Google review
This is the best aquatic park of the country for us. We have bene fer almost 6 years and we never get tired of it. This is the last test and the mantainance is not as good as other years. But the security is still perfect. Sad to say that it is the last day we go there, because it will be closed.
Laia S — Google review
A super place to bring the family. But the queues are long (unless you pay for an extortionate speedy pass), and over the years instead of there being new things, there are actually less things to do. A wee revamp and a new slide or two would help. Food seems pricey but the portions we got were good size leaving everyone full.
Gareth H — Google review
Great waterpark, good selection of rides. I got a discount for booking online but didn't realise you had to pay for sunbeds etc. worth while just putting towels on the grassy areas for the amount we used them and next time we would definitely take food into the park for lunch. There was a lot of queueing as you queue for the rings to sit on then you queue again for the slide. Overall we had a great day and really enjoyed it and would definitely go back.
Lauren R — Google review
Great day and fun slides. The slides had an average waiting time of 1h which was really long Some slides randomly took brakes and nobody cared to tell us the reason or how long the brake would take. I’d recommend this park but only when there aren’t that many people. We had a promo code online but you can perfectly buy tickets at entry since there weren’t that many people waiting there (arrived at 11:30). To get on the parking and to buy a parking ticket took really long (I’d advise a different system)

The National Archaeological Museum of Tarragona is a treasure trove of artifacts from the Roman ruins in Tarragona. It boasts an impressive collection of mosaics, sculptures, and other finds that showcase the cultural and material wealth of Roman Tarraco.
This small site was inexpensive but full of some fantastic exhibits, to include an audio guide app and English descriptions, too.

Many exhibits, good place to learn about the Roman roots of Tarragona! Prior reservations is not required, you can walk in and buy tickets
Vince D — Google review
While the main building of the National Archaeological Museum of Tarragona is undergoing long-term renovation, the temporary exhibition at Tinglado 4 in the port offers a well-curated insight into Roman Tarraco. Among the most impressive pieces is a marble relief in the shape of a gladiator’s shield, originally from the Roman villa of Els Munts. Another standout object is an ornate Roman balance scale, which reflects the everyday economy and attention to detail in trade and measurement. The exhibition also includes mosaics, portraits, domestic objects, jewelry and religious iconography each piece selected to show the scope of life in Tarraco, one of the most important Roman cities in Hispania. The space itself is modern, bright and easy to navigate. Despite being only a temporary venue, the experience feels complete and rewarding. Entry is affordable, and with the MNAT combined ticket you can also visit Els Munts and Centcelles, two Roman villa sites nearby. This exhibition is absolutely worth a stop for anyone interested in Roman history, archaeology or classical art, especially if you’re following the ancient traces of Tarraco across the region.

The National Archaeological Museum of Tarragona was a very interesting visit. We got to see many statues and artifacts, which gave us a good impression of the city’s rich history. Overall everything was very well organized. The tickets were reasonably priced, and for what we saw, it felt more than worth it. In general, it was a very nice experience and definitely worth visiting if you are in Tarragona.

Nice little museum on the history of Tarragona. My senior entry fee was only 2 euros. Take a look at the port while you are there as there are many high end yachts there in port. Definitely worth checking out.

Bosc Aventura Salou is an adventure park that offers a wide range of activities for visitors of all ages. From treetop adventures to ground-level fun like paintball and climbing walls, there's something for everyone. The park opened in 2011 and boasts 8,000 square meters of green area with zip lines and paintball. Visitors can also enjoy obstacle courses, zip lines, mini-golf, archery with foam-tipped arrows, and more.
Absolutely brilliant, the staff are so helpful and their English is fantastic. Great adventure for kids and they even have a tiny course for small children. They have archery, trampolines, mini golf and paintball too. All very shaded by the trees, great use of the area. Definitely recommend if you are in Salou or can get to it. Second visit, just as brilliant!

It's quite expensive for what's kids can do. Plus my 9 year old couldn't go on easy track because he was to High.. He is barely 150cm.. And he could go easily for first lvl on rope's with he's younger brother. He did archery instead and was very disappointed 😞
Pawel W — Google review
Bosc Aventura isn’t the most amazing adventure park out there, but it’s definitely a fun spot—especially for families. It’s on the smaller side, so don’t expect a massive complex, but it’s well laid out and has a nice variety of obstacles for both kids and adults. My 6-year-old had a great time! There are courses designed specifically for younger children, which made it feel safe and enjoyable for her. At the same time, there are more challenging obstacles for older kids and grown-ups, so everyone can get involved. The staff were really friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. They were great with the kids and clearly explained the safety procedures. All in all, a fun experience for an hour or 2, if you're in the area and looking for some outdoor activity.

Sweet little place for kids. Our 4 year old loved it. The employees were all students it seemed and weren’t super motivated, but nice nonetheless. Spoke English too which was a plus!

Went on family holiday, the area is great for kids, and adults alike. The hotel had designated swimming pool for kids with 5 water slides to suit all ages of children. Also a smaller paddle pool and a large pool with depth change. The Salou promenade ( Strip ) was beautiful, and very long, it must a few kilometres. Very active intonthe night too. We'll return for sure.

Went to Bosc Aventura with my daughter (10) multiple times and loved every minute of the experience. The crew is amazing- very friendly, kind, knowledgeable and always helpful and smiling. Thank You! Zoe and Peter
Piotr C — Google review
Just okay at best. I wouldn’t recommend it for kids under 10. The staff made zero effort to assist, explain, or support the children. Additionally, Level 1 is poorly designed — it starts with the hardest section, which makes no sense. It’s also marked as suitable for kids over 125 cm, but even though my daughter is 130 cm, she couldn’t reach many of the safety ropes and had to rely entirely on the harness.
Dimo U — Google review
Went twice during our holiday with our daughter going on the smallest ropes, the blue rope trail with me and also the trampolines. She loved every activity. Something different and well worth checking out whilst in Salou.

Cala Fonda, also known as Waikiki Beach, is a secluded cove near Tarragona, Catalonia. It is surrounded by a fragrant pine forest and towering yellow limestone cliffs. The beach features fine golden sand and shallow warm waters, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers and nudists.
A beautiful beach that you definitely have to visit if you are in the area. The path is a little difficult to find at first, but once you have found the start it is not difficult to get to the beach. We took the southern entrance, for which you first have to walk through camping site past the Torre de la Mora. You can also park very well in the side street there. Nudist and textile can be found there in equal measure. However, everything is very harmonious and accepted. Please note that there are two very close beaches. We were very impressed by both

Lovely beach, calm and surrounded by beautiful limeatone. You can reach it through a very short and easy trek which offers nice views on the see. The descent to the beach is managable well but you should be good and safe on your feet. I saw people doing it with flip flops while I was happy to wear sandals. ;-)

Nice walk through the trees to get there, several areas to stop but we went here as it was a little harder to get to and quieter, nudist friendly beach some do some don’t it’s not a problem.

Beautiful beach with luckily a wonderful hike and a bit of a steep access road. So only people that really want to go there go through the trouble to get there. The water is very clear and the beach slopes very gently towards the deeper part. Mostly used by naturists.

Beautiful place. Not so much tradh, clear water , snorkeling Must park at la morra, the campsite at the other end own all the land. No parking there. Fascistas! Photos from la morra campsite end. It IS a good 35 min stomp from the carpark, THROUGH the campsite to the tower, then follow the cliff path to the 2nd bay, 1st bay is gorgeous too! Like costa brava but with sand! Es naturist too! Or not, textiles welcome xx

The Roman theatre of Tàrraco is a significant historical site in Tarragona, known for its well-preserved ruins dating back to the 2nd century. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it features remnants of an amphitheater, aqueducts, religious buildings, city walls, and part of the Aurelian Way. The theater complex also includes the Arch of Bera and the Tower of the Scipios along the Via Augusta.
Lovely to look at, has information in English and Spanish, lots of different viewing points and can see from different angles

We visited the Roman Theatre of Tàrraco (Teatre de Tàrraco), but unfortunately it was closed. You can see everything from the outside through the fence, but honestly, there isn’t much to it. Instead, we walked towards the nicer part of the Old Town, where we found more interesting sights. So this place can basically be skipped.
Paweł — Google review
Through the fence this looked like an interesting piece of history in the middle of Tarragona. Unfortunately I do with it had more information posted outside that wasn't covered in trash or what I tell myself was bird droppings. I waited for about 30 minutes with others who arrived from a tour group waiting for the gates to open when they were scheduled to, but nobody ever came. Maybe it's a private, reserved tour sort of thing that wasn't accurately described on Google, but it wasn't the first nor last place in Spain supposed to be open that never did.

This is another site out of 4 in the same ticket of Roman ruins of Tarragona. Nice views over the city. You can leave the site through the gate at the end, or return and trace the wall on the other site. It's really interesting how the wall was built, and see how it was changing over the time. Definitely worth a visit.

A cool shady walk along the foot of the Roman city walls which are very impressive. There are numerous information points which add to the visitors understanding of the construction and phases of construction. All of the numerous sites in Tarragona seem to be equally well preserved and explained. Entry to all of these is very modest at 5 euro for an adult and there are usually toilets too!

Wonderful water park, lots of different slides for both children and adults. You can have a snack or drink cold drinks. an important point for me personally, there are lockers, you can leave your phone, money, etc., but! remember the 3-digit locker number and the 6-digit code somehow or take a marker 😂 because you are given a paper receipt, my watch saved me, where I entered the code as a note. also, an important point for photo lovers, I carried my phone in a waterproof case, know that they will not let you on the slides with a chain, with a phone, etc., you need to take pictures! you can only take your phone to a slow river or to a pool

Place to be absolutely avoided Very dirty in common areas, toilets areas as well as attractions, with serious risks of getting skin irritation as happened to me ... I unfortunately visited this park this July and it was a carnage. Uncontrolled number of people made the situatuin very caothic. Queues of a minimum of over one hour for each attraction with several blockages and slowdowns due also to the poor preparation of the young and inexperienced staff. Dirty everywhere and unpleasent discussions with other visitors standing to grab your chair or sunbed as soon you get up or, simply because insufficient in numbers compared with the uncontrolled number of people admitted. All of this at the "cheapest " price of 47 Euro ,if you cannot book online in advance for chhosing a fix date, plus 15 Euros for parking and 8 Euros for a small locker.....More than adventure an unpleasent disadventure .....

We spent one day in this caribe aquatic park.

I’m visiting this park every year in the last 10 years. The kids love the place . I’ve decided to give the place minimum score because it doesn’t care about the guest . 2025 is almost 2015 , very little in places shadows . The sun is killing in Spain . And the place doesn’t care about his guests health . The food . I understand it should be expensive as they do the maximum to take any penny they can . Fat food, almost nothing healthy . So above fun , take care of your guests . Put many umbrellas so people can hide from the sun, and sell healthy food.

We were absolutely delighted with our visit to the water park! Since we only had one day, we decided to purchase VIP tickets — and it turned out to be the best choice. They were worth every penny: the VIP lines were minimal, while the regular ticket lines stretched far beyond the designated areas. Thanks to this, we were able to enjoy more attractions without wasting time in queues and fully immerse ourselves in the experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, everything was clean, and the staff was polite and well-organized. I highly recommend it to everyone, especially if your time is limited or if you want to spend the day in maximum comfort.

The worst aqua park I ever been, and I've been in all over the World, from Turkey, UAE to Australia... Not many slides and pools, but the worst of all is that it is too much crowded, there is 3 times more people than capacity! For every slide waiting is more than an hour, some even 2... If you want to eat, more than 1 hour waiting and count minimum 100€ for 4 persons with 1 drink. My advice, if you want to go anyway, buy extra pass and than there is 0 mins waiting.. If you enter at 11am, don't count you will get any sunbeds, it's completely full! Locker rooms also waiting time around 30 minutes and it is 8€ for small and 11€ for bigger bags! Better go once again to PortAventura World and Ferrari World.
Damir M — Google review
Came to the park just with my two kids 12 and 10 in on a Thursday in the May school holiday. Being a single parent, I was quite concerned about the logistics of keeping valuables safe while also enjoying the park with the kids. However, the lockers are quite straightforward - once paid, you get a printout with a locker allocation and a six digit pin. I managed to remember this which meant I could put everything in the locker. I would say these are good for one medium sized rucksack and a few other extras. We got to the park from the Barcelona-Salou train, that gets in a 10 and had bought tickets in advance at the train station - would recommend this or alternatively on line as there are queues for on-site ticket purchasing. The park opened at 11, and there was only a short queue once we got through the bag check zone (that is for all three parks). The water park is great and, at this time of year, it was not very busy - we easily got a lounger under the shaded area and the weather was perfect for us. The slides are great and the queues were minimal throughout the day. The green and blue Barracudas are great (green one is better) and so is El Torrente, which is a big dinghy that can hold up to four each time. Many say the lifeguards blow whistles too much but as long as you know what to do it is fine. As my sunglasses are prescription, it was slightly annoying not being able to wear them on the lazy river or Bahama Beach but I coped. Didn't try the food but had a couple of beers and ice creams. Took a large bottle of water in. In all, would say this is a great time to visit this park. I suspect that in the summer this would not get 5 stars as I expect queues would be much larger and weather too hot!
Ian A — Google review
We had fun at this water park, we got there at opening time on a Monday and it was already very busy and we had to queue for lockers (expensive!). If we were to go again we maybe wouldn't bother with a locker and would leave our things on a sunbed instead as most people seemed to be doing. We had to queue for some slides but we didn't think it was too bad. We spent all day there and went on all of the slides we wanted to and some twice. I do think there must be a more efficient system for the rings though, having to queue to get one then queue again for the slide wasn't ideal. The food was okay, they had veggie hotdogs which were good. You get a reusable cup if you buy a drink. There's no photographers so you won't get a souvenir photo.

Lovely, clean, spacious park. Good selection of kids rides which my Son enjoyed, queues were short too so very little wait time for them. The star of the show is of course Red Force! I loved that there was a viewing area to sit and watch it whizz by. Worth a visit.

Amazing theme park one of a kind. Very spacious clean and organised. Get ready for long queues depends the days and times but worth the wait. Gates just open 16:30 and close late time enough to enjoy all the rides Me and my family enjoy a lot here... I would recommend a visit definitely
Happydays — Google review
I think most people will be visiting Ferrari Land purely for "The Red one", other than this ride we only went on 3 others as the park was only open 1700-2200. The Red one was great....the others not so much. But please near in mind we are seasoned Theme park visitors.....had we never had be on "soaring" we maybe would have appreciated "Flying dream" however with a 1hr 45 min wait we didn't. Racing legends seemed to be operating at Limited capacity and the "water jets" weren't working. We entered the park from Portaventura as hotel guests and queued for 30 mins, we then went straight to "The Red one" and queued for around 30 mins. The queues after that were over 2 hours. We ate at "Pit stop" the food was as expected for pizza, chips etc however the service was extremely slow. If you are willing to pay entry for 1 ride then its a good ride, generally the park isn't thay great, small and gift shops are crazy expensive.

Amazing experience, would need a couple of days to do all rides as times were avg 1.5hrs. Museum had lots of interesting facts. Photo opportunities for all the family, in a road car and f1 car. If time isn’t on your side, pay for the fast track/express tickets and you can’t go wrong with those. If you like Ferrari heritage and fast rides, Red Force is the main attraction for that.

Absolutely adore this place. Bought the 3 day 3 park tickets. Bought fast passes for the 5 ride pack and it was so good. The Ferrari ride is amazing. I went on it twice and was gutted I had to leave. Highly recommend this park. If you’re scared of rides or feel uneasy going on the red force ride GO ON IT!!!! You won’t regret it and it’s unbelievable.

If you are a F1 Ferrari team fan you will love this place! To see a real racing car, experience of driving a simulation of F1 race or adrenalin rush in a Red Force rollercoster is a lifetime memory! Even the children can ride in small cars and also try F1 simulator. Everything is amazing wherever you look. Highly recommended to any F1 fan.

A very nice destination for car enthusiasts , Ferrari’s all over the place! The Gallery is awesome, the store is modest the rollercoaster is wonderful. The Enzo Ferrari 3d video and simulator is unbelievable! They needed to add serious toys for big boys like me such as having a test drive with instructor on the circuit.
Sam H — Google review
Not worth the money! There are only a couple of rides interesting for adults, the queues are unreal, the express pass is expensive (€38) and only allows you to ride the 5 main attractions once. There are no special privileges for the express pass inside the attractions either; for example, in Flying Dreams, they seated us right at the edge, where the image distortion is the worst, and we were the first to enter the hall. The Maranello Grand Race is a dull, slow, dark, and uncomfortable experience.

The Ferreres Aqueduct, also known as Pont de les Ferreres and Pont del Diable, is an ancient Roman aqueduct located just 4 kilometers north of Tarragona. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was built in the 1st century to supply water to the city of Tarraco. Today, it is a popular spot for scenic walks and picnics, offering a breath of fresh air away from the crowds.
A hidden Roman jewel very close to the centre of Tarragona. The conservation is exceptional. The whole arcade is a monumental ensemble that deserves to be visited. You can walk through the upper part from side to side. If you like Roman culture, it is a must to visit.

Visited this aquaduct on a visit to Tarragona. It dates from reign of Augustus, 2000 yrs ago. It's in great condition considering it's age. The stonemasonry is excellent, I walked across the top, the local government has put a safety wall on but sides. The Romans were outstanding in civil engineering and hydraulic systems. There was more than likely a huge underground tank in the city centre.

The Ferrets Aqueduct is a truly impressive and underrated place to visit near Barcelona. You can easily get there by city bus (just remember to catch the return bus from the same stop where you got off). There's a large parking area available if you're coming by car. There are no public restrooms or shops on site, so it's a good idea to bring your own water and snacks. The area is spacious, with lots of nature, perfect for walking or cycling. You can easily spend anywhere from an hour to the whole day here enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The aqueduct itself is really striking and well worth seeing. It's a free attraction and a great option if you're looking to escape the city for a bit. Highly recommended!

The Aqueduct of Ferreres near Tarragona is a stunning piece of Roman engineering from the 1st century AD. It once carried water into the ancient city of Tarraco and still stands today in remarkable condition. The structure is about 217 meters long and 27 meters high, built from massive stone blocks without mortar, with two elegant tiers of arches. It’s very easy to visit: there’s a small parking lot nearby, and from there it’s just a 3-minute walk. Even if you don’t climb up to the top (which is possible on foot), the view from below is impressive enough. It’s one of those stops where you can get a real “wow effect” in 10 -15 minutes, making it perfect even with a stroller or during a road trip break.

Outdoor Activities
Platja de La Pineda, also known as Vila-seca beach, is a stunning and serene Blue Flag beach located in the Tarragona region along the Balearic coast. This idyllic stretch of coastline spans over 3 kilometers and features fine golden sand and calm, clear waters with a gentle slope, making it perfect for families.
It's a great yarn with a slow descent to the depths. It is very clean, there are showers and many cafes. When the weather is windy, you can surf. The beach is very long and there are always a lot of people there.
Solomiia S — Google review
Overall, the beach was average, and unfortunately, in 2025 during our stay, it was under construction. Instead of relaxing by the sea, we had the constant background noise of excavators and diggers, which really ruined the atmosphere. The beach itself was clean in general, but the area around the sunbeds was a different story. It looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time – full of garbage and cigarette butts, even though smoking on the beach is officially forbidden. The sunbeds were another disappointment. At €30 per day for two beds and an umbrella, the price was outrageous – especially considering the condition. In Mallorca, I paid €12.50 for the exact same setup, and it was much better quality. Here, the beds were old and uncomfortable, and the “tables” that came with them were basically useless. I spilled my coffee one day and my beer the next because they were so unstable. Paying €30 for that is honestly a joke. On top of that, the constant harassment from ambulant sellers made it nearly impossible to relax. They were selling everything from towels and sunglasses to perfumes, massages, and hair braids. They were extremely pushy, and you had to refuse them multiple times before they left – only for them to come back again an hour later. I’d say I had to turn them down at least 15 times a day, every day. And if that wasn’t enough, they continued in the evenings on the nearby streets, doing the same routine all over again. All in all, between the construction noise, the overpriced and uncomfortable sunbeds, the lack of cleanliness around the beds, and the relentless sellers, this beach was not the relaxing experience we were hoping for.

A good beach which was clean and with very fine sand. You have to walk quite a way into the water to go in deep so this is great for children. Lifeguards and a beach PA system was in use.

The Monument als Castellers is an 11-meter tall bronze sculpture created by Francesc Angles Garcia, dedicated to the tradition of Castells. These are human towers formed through a combination of teamwork and strength. The monument is located in Tarragona, Catalonia and is a popular tourist destination. Visitors can also explore the nearby Roman Amphitheatre and chariot tracks while enjoying walks in this warm and welcoming area with friendly locals.

Els Castellers, a Catalan tradition of building human towers, is a breathtaking spectacle that exemplifies the beauty of human unity, strength, and coordination. Having witnessed this awe-inspiring display firsthand, I can confidently say that it is an experience like no other. Els Castellers is a cultural phenomenon that captivates both the hearts and minds of its audience, leaving an indelible mark on anyone fortunate enough to witness it. From the moment the castellers enter the arena, clad in vibrant traditional attire, a palpable sense of excitement fills the air. The energy and enthusiasm of the participants are contagious, spreading throughout the crowd and creating an atmosphere of anticipation. As the music begins to play, signaling the start of the performance, a harmonious rhythm takes hold, guiding the movements of the castellers and ensuring their synchronicity. The precision and coordination displayed by the castellers are truly remarkable. Every participant has a specific role, from the sturdy base known as the pinya, providing the foundation of the tower, to the nimble climbers who ascend to dizzying heights, their determination and courage shining through. It is an intricate dance of balance, trust, and unwavering support, where each individual's contribution is vital to the success of the tower. The most awe-inspiring moment arrives when the crowning moment is reached—the completion of the castell. As the final casteller climbs to the pinnacle, the audience holds their breath, anxiously hoping for a flawless finish. The moment of triumph, when the castell reaches its zenith and is celebrated with thunderous applause and cheers, is nothing short of magical. It represents the triumph of human cooperation, resilience, and teamwork—a testament to the power of unity. However, beyond the sheer physicality and spectacle of Els Castellers lies a profound cultural significance. It embodies the spirit of Catalonia, its history, and its people. Els Castellers transcends boundaries and unites communities, fostering a sense of identity and belonging. It is a powerful symbol of solidarity and cultural heritage, preserving and promoting the values of teamwork, trust, and mutual respect. The impact of Els Castellers extends beyond the immediate performance itself. It has the ability to inspire individuals to push beyond their limits, encouraging them to believe in the extraordinary potential that lies within each human being. The resilience and determination displayed by the castellers serve as a reminder that when we come together, we can achieve greatness. In conclusion, Els Castellers is an unparalleled display of human achievement, leaving spectators in awe of the incredible feats accomplished by these dedicated individuals. The experience is both visually stunning and emotionally profound, offering a glimpse into the rich tapestry of Catalan culture and the human capacity for unity and strength. If you have the opportunity to witness Els Castellers, seize it without hesitation—it is an experience that will leave an indelible mark on your soul.

Parc Samà, located in Costa Dorada, is a 14-hectare botanical garden designed by Jose Fontsere Mestres in 1881. Originally intended as a summer residence for the Sama family, it now features a stunning lake with islands connected by suspension bridges, as well as captivating water features and wildlife. Visitors can explore the expansive grounds, which are almost the size of 34 football pitches and home to roaming peacocks.
Lovely park to visit and spend an hour or two walking round, some beautiful sights. Friendly staff, lots to see and a little snack shop in the museum. They also called a taxi for us back to Cambrils which was really helpful. Mostly accessible with a pram/pushchair

One of the most peaceful and magical parks near Cambrils. Parc Samà offers an amazing combination of nature, architecture, and animals — perfect for a calm walk, a family day, or unique photo opportunities. The highlight for us was seeing a peacock sitting high up in a tree — something you don’t see every day! The deer are very calm and friendly, and we even caught a few beautiful moments with parrots near the palm trees. Don’t miss the small lake and charming stone bridges — it truly feels like a hidden paradise. Highly recommend for couples, families with kids, or just anyone looking to disconnect in nature.

It’s a beautiful botanical garden with some animals and a nice old manor in old colonial style. There is also a museum about traditional vermouth and oil production. Staff were very friendly. Small children up to 6 years don’t have to pay for entry. I recommend this place for a day trip with young kids.

Stunning! Absolutely beautiful place, feels like you’ve gone back in time with so many picturesque places. You can get very close and indeed feed the animals. We got here for opening time (10am) and spent a couple of hours here. Nice and quiet for us but as we were leaving a lot of people were turning up so I’d recommend getting there early. Plenty of parking if you’ve rented a scooter or car.

Beautiful, peaceful and full of charm – perfect for families! 🌿🦌 Parc Samà was one of the highlights of our trip to Cambrils. It’s not just a park – it’s a historic botanical garden with an old-world charm that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The grounds are huge, with scenic walking paths, small lakes, exotic trees, elegant peacocks walking freely, turtles, deer, and other animals — our son was amazed! There’s a lovely children’s area, plenty of benches to relax, take photos, and just enjoy nature. You can easily spend 2–3 peaceful hours here. Everything is clean, calm, and beautifully maintained. The place truly feels magical — like being transported into the past. There’s a beautiful, old house on the territory, and we had the impression that someone once lived there and that it was all part of their private estate. It adds so much historical atmosphere to the whole experience. By the way, we rented a car specifically to explore special places, and Parc Samà was our very first stop. We chose it on purpose and it did not disappoint! Peaceful, picturesque, and totally worth the visit. If you’re in Cambrils – don’t miss it! Perfect for families, couples, or anyone who loves nature, history, and calm vibes.
Liliia Z — Google review
Most beautiful and peaceful place I have ever visited. Stayed for 2.5 hours as there was so much to see. We bought feed from reception to feed the birds & animals. I would recommend buying at least two pots and save most for the Reindeer as you can hand feed them! Only downside was there was a very anorexic Deer which had hair loss and bad skin. I hope this raises concern for this Deer to receive medical attention.

Came here after we’d seen most of Salou and wanted a bit of a change. Parc Samà is a lovely mix of botanic gardens and a historic estate—beautiful lawns, ponds, waterfalls, bridges, and a big old house you can admire from the outside. We fed the deer, chickens, and peacocks (you can buy food at the entrance) and had a look around the little olive oil museum, which was something different. There’s a small café for coffee and ice pops—perfect on a hot day—and a gift shop too. It’s €14 per adult so a bit on the pricey side, but with free parking, loads to explore, and a peaceful vibe, it’s well worth it. Great spot for families or anyone looking to escape the buzz of Salou for a while.

Aqualeón is an exciting water park located in Tarragona, Spain. It offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure with its pools, giant slides, beach area, and picnic spots. The park caters to visitors of all ages, featuring thrilling attractions like steep slides and a rapid river for adults and older kids, as well as shallow pools with playsets for the little ones. Visitors can also unwind under palm trees on deck chairs when they need a break from the exhilarating activities.
Really great family day out -some tips Buy tickets in advance Hot day we got fast pass tickets -about €16 euro each but we got to skip queues all day for over 16 rides - kids some 25 rides so well worth it Got a shaded area on hill with free deck chairs to chill Bring a picnic but leave in car and leave park ( 5 min walk ) to lovely shared picnic area Some slides are really fast so be prepared!! All in all we travelled by car from Villanova and lovely drive there Kids said it was best day ever !!
Niall C — Google review
A good, fun family day out. The park is very picturesque as you drive up to it! If you arrive before opening time, you queue outside in your car. Once the barrier opens, it's a race as 5 lanes converge into one to drive the last couple of minutes to the car park! Parking is 5 euros which you pay for in the park. You are given a token which you use on the way out. At the entrance, we showed a member of staff our downloaded pre-paid tickets and were directed to one of two queues. Both queues, however, were trying to get through one gate. After getting nowhere for 10 minutes, the group behind us who also had pre-paid tockets went to the information office. They were allowed through immediately and gratefully waved us over to do the same!! There were 5 coaches full of school kids entering the park at the same time as us, so we made the decision to buy Fast Track passes at 14 euros each. Once in, we found a grassy area to put our towels. You cannot take picnics into the park, and there is a shaded picnic area. However, your bag is not searched, so if you wanted to take small snacks and water, I'm sure it would be ok! They say it is for health and safety, but you can buy food and drink right next to the pool area? The picnic area has lots of tables and chairs, is in the shade, and there is a kiosk selling ice cream and drinks. The park itself was clean and the rides were good fun. Some of them left you a bit sore as they seemed to have quite aggressive endings....resulting in you being thrown from your float or hitting various body parts off of the walls 😬 Our 7 year old children were able to go on all the attractions which was good. They went down the Black Hole together several times. On one occasion, as they came out of the slide, one child accidentally kicked the other in the face. He then slipped getting out of the pool, and fell quite hard onto the ground. The lifeguard rushed over to him to make sure he was ok. The lifeguards were very attentive and took notice of the kids as they left each ride. The park is very hilly, and it can be quite hard work carrying the floats to the top of each slide (admittedly, I am not very fit, however I would say I am of average ability!) The ground surface also gets very slippy so would definitely recommend shoes or sandals to wear. A lot of kids were coming down the slides with their sandals slipped over their forearms. I would also recommend the Fast Track passes. We did not have to queue to get our floats and were able to get to the front of the queue on half the slides, which was a real bonus. The amount of red fast track floats available shows that they definitely want you to buy the pass! Normally we wouldn't, but the park was very busy and it was very hot! There is a good variety of slides and attractions for young children which was great. The park was clean and there's space to lie on the grass and get some peace. It is a shame you have to walk to the picnic area but it's not a huge negative. Some of the rides were a bit sore so would recommend watching people get off them for a couple of minutes first before deciding to go on 😆 (I am a 47 year old with a bad back so form your own opinion obviously!!) We visited on 10th of July and it was very busy and noisy, however overall a good, fun family day out. As you leave the car park you pop your token in the barrier and away you go.
Katie F — Google review
A great water park, well worth a visit. Okay, so let's talk about good stuff. Rides are fun, staff are helpful, place is clean and well maintained. It's a stunning location in the middle of the forest, just beautiful. Parking is easy and well managed. Now, on to the stuff that doesn't work so well... Yes, there are 2 different queues. Queues for the floats (get them at the bottom of the rides, from the people who just finished) and queues to enter the rides. It's a theme park, there are queues, that's life. It's hard to blame Aqualeon for this, they can't provide a queue free water park! If you hate queuing, buy the fast pass 🤷. We were there on a day that was about 50% max occupancy (I asked a staff member), and wait time was 10-20 mins for a float and 5-15 for a ride. In 6 hours, we rode 8 rides and spent an hour on the wave pool.. seems pretty good to me. The lost star is for the food. I get it, it's a captive market, people who didn't bring their own food will pay €17 for a not very good pizza or burger. It's expensive, and the food could be easily improved (it's not terrible, but not great but value level is low due to high cost). *However* They provide a really good picnic area with a free to use microwave, and I think that's really good 👍. This is a great water park, we'd visit again for sure. Thank you Aqualeon!
Charles H — Google review
We have been there early in June. We must not wait longer than 5-10 minutes. The slides were great, it was a lot of fun! But the prices for really bad food was horrible! 6,90 Euro for fat soaked French Fries… seriously?!
Alexander K — Google review
The waterpark is situated in the forest, with a lot of trees which give shadow and a bit of coolness. Water is clear, all slides are working, food and drinks available and fresh. What could be done better: the locker bracelet should be with a chip. Then you can pay with chip around the park and at the end, when you go out- you pay the bill. (We had to keep phones and money what wals really uncomfortable). Other frustrating thing is ques. Long long ques for all slides, even two for each. One is for taking a tube and then other to take a ride. (It could be one que, could be more tubes to ride etc). Generally all was good, clean and fun. Eleminating these two issues you will become the best waterpark. Thank you.

Karting Salou is a popular attraction in the area, offering races suitable for both young adults and children. The circuit spans 900 meters for adults and 300 meters for children aged 4 to 13. One of its main draws is the Bungee Rocket, which launches two people to a height of 90 meters at a speed of 180 km/h in just 1.3 seconds.

Karting was just great! We arrived around 10pm on Monday, took 2 races for each of the 10 people team. We were told that we would have to wait about 40-50 minutes, during this time we decided to have a snack and cool off with drinks. Tickets for each were about 50 euros, we were given balaclavas so as not to get the helmet dirty, helmets are available in different sizes, from small to large. The cars themselves are very comfortable, they go fast! We were delighted with these emotions.

Such a fun and adrenaline-filled experience! We had an amazing time racing at Karting Salou — the karts are new, fast, and super responsive, and the whole track gives off a real race vibe. One of the best parts? You receive your race results by email after each session — so you can track your progress and compare lap times. It’s a great way to compete with friends and see how much you improve! Highly recommended for group activities, birthdays, or just a fun weekend plan in Salou.

Fantastic. Great for kids as they have a separate track for them. My 7 year old daughter loved it and I thought she'd be scared but I was wrong. I did the three 8min sessions with a few friends and we all loved it, got abit competitive but we still left as friends haha

Wow, what an absolute blast at Karting Salou! Tucked just off the C-14 in Salou, this place is a must-visit for thrill-seekers and families alike. The 900-meter adult track is a proper adrenaline rush—fast karts, smooth curves, and just the right mix of challenge and fun. My friends and I had a blast racing each other, and the staff were super friendly, ensuring everyone felt safe while still keeping the vibe lively. For families, they’ve got a 300-meter track for kids as young as 4, which is perfect for little speedsters. The Bungee Rocket was the cherry on top—90 meters up in 1.3 seconds? Insane! The facilities are solid, with a bar and arcade games to chill after racing. Tip: book ahead to avoid a wait, especially in peak season. Trust me, you’ll leave with a huge grin and maybe a new personal best lap time

Casa Museu Castellarnau is a museum housed in a restored aristocratic residence that dates back to the 15th century. It was home to influential families until the 19th century and has ties to Emperor Charles. The interior showcases furniture and decorative objects from the 1700s and 1800s, offering a glimpse into the lifestyle of that era.
The Castellarnau House was built at the start of the XV century. Up to the end of the XIX century, it was the residence of some of the most influential families in the city. Emperor Charles I lived here during his stay in Tarragona in 1542. Charles of Castellarnau bought it half-way through the XVIlL century and it stayed in the family until, in 1954. it became municipal property. The interior of the house has architect- structures from various periods. On the ground floor we can see a series of pointed arcs dated from the XIV and XV centuries. The patio and spiral staircase with columns and Gothic capitols are from the same period. The building was acquired by Charles of Castellarnau during the XVIII century and important changes to the façade and interior distribution were made. The noble floor has rooms with furniture from the XVIll and XIX centuries. The most emblematic area is the ballroom, with roof paintings depicting mythological themes done by Provencal painter Josep Bernat Flaugier at the end of the XVIII century. An old kitchen has been restored on the ground floor. There is also a permanent sample of the Molas i Agramunt collection, a heterogenic set of archaeological and ethnographic pieces that cover a wide chronological period; the Quintana inheritance, where we can see a model of the first aeroplane to fly over the city in 1913.

This was included in a package ticket we bought for 15€ per person. I dont think we would visit here if it was part of the package. It is beautiful to see the house set up and the chandeliers upstairs are phenomenal. The tile flooring is beautiful. Staff super friendly. Toilets downstairs in the basement smelt funny. The whole house had a musty smell but to be expected. I think an interactive tour would be better than us wandering around. Would be nice to learn the history of the house and the use of the house or earphones in different languages. Well preserved.

A good little stop to add onto your attractions list. It is roughly around €5 per person to enter. Although I was unsure if to enter as it just looked like pots to my left, I'm glad I went. You also get a little handy note book, in your language. It was nice to see the different room styles and how both interior and items have changed. The likes of the size of a double bed back then, to now. The celling artwork, to the furniture. It's a nice look around and a chance to get out of the sun. The only issue, is that the toilets weren't the best and smelled.

It's a very strange museum. There's absolutely no story behind it. Inside you will find a couple of nice pieces of furniture, a couple of paintings and the shelves full of chemical bottles, but you won't find any hint at how this all works together: the objects are not attributed in any way, people on portraits and their authors remain unknown, there's no connection to the family which owned all that (who they were and why they decided to preserve the house also remains in darkness). This collection of objects costs 5 Euro. That's not much, but the visit itself is utterly senseless, so be warned.

Amazing and beautiful house/museum with well preserved furniture from past centuries. The staff is friendly and attentive, and will give you a lot of information about its history. It has a beautiful interior patio. A must-see in Tarragona!

Beautiful but not outstanding house. As often here almost no information in any foreign language. Not to miss: the courtyard and the little room with the cassette ceiling with plant motives.

(Translated by Google) From the beginning, the treatment we have received from the Casablanca Group has been exquisite. They have been solving all our doubts, responding to our requests, recommending suppliers that we required and, above all, providing us with security and peace of mind at all times 🫂🤗 We have felt like family with the entire team, without exceptions, helping us make our day very pleasant, beautiful and special. They helped me ensure that the dress looked good at all times, that everything went as planned, and that the guests were delighted too 🥰 The excellent appetizer, with variety and quantity. The food was delicious, everyone ate very well, they adapted without problems to special requests (intolerances, pregnancies, tastes,...) and the sweet and salty snort was a hit, there was no one who did not enjoy the chocolate fountain and /or of freshly made frankfurts 🤤 The menu test was like a beautiful romantic date by the sea in their restaurant at the Club Nàutic in Salou with beautiful views of the beach and the mountains. Everything was great, it was difficult for us to choose what to put because we liked everything. The team helped us a lot with their recommendations 🍽️ Planning became very bearable and easy for us thanks to Jesús' wonderful organization with the sitting plan, payment methods, timing,... The place is beautiful, everything was very nice, with plan b for the rain, with several menu options, they do afternoon and morning weddings, several dance options, themed weddings,... it has been unbeatable. Also with a changing room, with sockets, dressing table, armchairs, wardrobes, stairs for hangers and shelves. In addition, they helped us with the placemarks and details so that everything was super elegant and organized. (Translated by Google) Finally, I see it with water (August 15, 2025). We were there in 2023, and even the washhouse was dry. A great place to cool off after a hike in the area. The water, coming from underground and the caves, is very cold, and since it's in the shade, it's great in the middle of summer. You can leave canteens in the washhouse to cool down or fill them with water from the fountain. However, the water runs intermittently. We were there two hours earlier, upon arriving in the village, and it was only a trickle, so it was a pleasant surprise. When we returned later, we saw what was flowing. Se pueden dejarlas cantimploras en el lavadero para que se enfríen o llenarlas con el agua de la fuente. Museu del Port de Tarragona, located at Moll de la Costa, offers a captivating look into the city's maritime history, from ancient empires to the contemporary oil industry. Adjacent to the museum are seafood restaurants like LAncora, where visitors can savor fresh catches while overlooking the Mediterranean. The museum provides an opportunity to delve into Tarragona's rich maritime heritage through exhibits on ships, lighthouses, and ship engines.
One of the best museums I've visited. And it's free! I spent 3 hours there. It was very fascinating to discover the history of the Port of Tarragona and explore different ships, lighthouses, and ship engines. Play a game with the helm. Watch a video about a day of fishermen. So many things to explore. And don't forget to visit the second floor. I liked spending time in this museum.

The Museu del Port in Tarragona was a wonderful surprise, a very beautiful museum with lots of fascinating exhibits. What made it especially enjoyable were the many interactive elements, such as the treasure hunt and the screen where you could choose different topics to learn about. The place is beautiful and quite spacious, which is definitely appreciated. If you’re an adult, the Pura area is definitely the best option, the vibe is different, although all the other areas are nice as well. The food in the family pool area wasn’t great. We ordered burgers, but for some reason they didn’t sit well with us and caused some digestive discomfort. They also didn’t have cold beer, and the service was quite poor. Aside from that, I think the place is still worth visiting, they just need to improve those aspects.

Incredible day at Infinitum Beach Club! Visited y with friends and spent the whole day enjoying everything this place has to offer. The swimming pools are absolutely amazing, and the location is unbeatable — with stunning views and a super chill atmosphere throughout. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We had lunch at Flamma restaurant, and it was genuinely good — fresh, tasty, and served with a smile. Yes, it’s a bit on the pricey side, but honestly, for a full day of relaxation in such a beautiful and well-run setting, it felt worth it. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a classy, laid-back beach day in Salou.

The location is ideal, with popular attractions like PortAventura only 1km away and an adjacent golf course for those looking to tee off.
Lovely site, well maintained. Showers super clean. And the swimming pool area is fabulous. We would definitely return. But the shop needs more items and also the prices at the bar are expensive. Stock up before you go! Receptionist who checked us in really friendly and helpful.

The camping is located directly next to an enormous area of chemical industries. And you can smell it. We were there for two days and the whole time the air was filled with an awful chemical smell. It feels (and most likely is) very unhealthy. Compared to other comments here, for us this would be the never go again point. We stayed there to visit Tarragona. The road is too dangerous to go by bike but the bus stop is opposite the campsite. Although it is an ACSI camping we didn’t get a discount (1 and 2 September). Cleaning ladies do their best to keep the showers and toilets clean.
Rene D — Google review
The camp site it's self is nice but very over priced. Plenty of pitches empty when we were their tho probably due to the price. The shop on site has very little in it and isn't well stocked. We asked if we could leave our van in the car park for a few hours but told we had to be off site by 12. This would be understandable if it was packed and fully booked but the place was empty. Thir are cheaper sites with better facilities and more accommodating staff than hear. Can't say we will return.

Hello, On June 10th my wife and I went on a trip with our Vespa from Cambrils to Tarragona. Unfortunately, we broke down about 2 km from the La Pineda campsite. As we couldn't repair it ourselves on the spot and there was no way to park our scooter safely for about 2 km (industrial area) to go and get our car, we pushed the Vespa to the La Pineda campsite. Once there, I was first told very harshly that I wasn't allowed to park here without even being given the opportunity to explain what was going on and what I wanted. Then I went to reception and was told in no uncertain terms by a very unsympathetic member of staff (approx. 45 ?) that I should leave and that the scooter could not be parked in the almost completely free parking lot just behind the barrier or anywhere else in front of or on the premises, not even for 2 hours. We were stunned by the lack of helpfulness and the way they treat potential guests!!! By the way, we stayed at Camping LaLosa in Cambrils, super nice staff, extremely flexible, top camping, close to the city and beach, really highly recommended. But one thing is certain for us NEVER CAMPING La Pineda !!!
Simon E — Google review
On arrival there was nowhere to park to check into the campsite so had to park in the entrance to the campsite as directed by security but in everyone’s way. Despite a mostly empty campsite we were put in a spot directly between the only 3 other people there. Arriving at 6pm we thought we’d grab a quick drink. The barman was very nice and friendly. We then headed to the pool for a quick dip at 7:10 (as it said it shut at 7:30pm on the gate) where we found the pool being closed and on asking were told the pool shuts at 6:30 today. (It clearly said 19:30 on the gate and no additional signage). The toilet/shower blocks were clean but very basic with nowhere to put your dry clothes whilst showering. Wifi did work well. Ants and mosquitos were everywhere and the shop didn’t sell any bug spray (for humans). We were offered to buy Raid but it seems unreasonable to expect visitors to purchase raid to control their bug problem. Also large group of lads yelling at approx 6:15am from toilet block. Continued for approx 15mins so clearly no intervention from the supposed security. Would not recommend staying here, particularly at a price of €42 per night.
Hannah B — Google review
Of all seven campings around Spain and France i've been to this summer this one is by far the worst and by the way far too expensive. The toilet cabins are so small that you almost have to step ON or INTO the seat to get into it. The water pressure in the showers is a bad joke. The whole campings seams to be a chemical toilet. The water slide opens only for three hours per day. They'll tell you that it's only allowed to pass by car on the outside lane but there's traffic the whole night through. The cleanig staff closes the toilets from 9 to 10 but after cleanig the sanitary space looks the same as before. They supposedly have a "supermaket/store" where you can buy one thing: NOTHING, but only if you're lucky cause it NEVER opens. And (as any other service) the Wifi access is shamefully expensive. The worst thing is that there's around 50 trees for 200 spaces. So good look trying to get any shadow. Ah I forgot: this might not be the management's fault but the visitors here are rude, bad educated and loud. Party in the showers, car and quadbike motors left runnig, people shouting from one end to the other or playing petanque anywhere on the walking lanes and one ever tells them how to behave according to the camping's rest-rules. Poor emloyees who try to do a good job nevertheless. GLAD TO MOVE ON!
Gonzalo B — Google review
The prices on the website of the camping are misleading. The toilets are not cleaned properly (poop smears are still visible after the cleaning lady is ready), the maintenance is done poorly. Shelfs in the showers are broken, toilet locks are broken, faucets are leaking etc. A lot of spaces don't have much shadow due to excessive trimming of the trees, most spots with decent shadow are premium spots (you will have to pay extra). Busloads of French teenagers are dumped on the camping in the chalets, they walk end run around yelling an playing loud music on their JBL speakers until at least 1 am (night). Informing the staff about situations (even though they request you to do so in the camping rules and signs) only on occasion changes something (they did immediately clean the broken glass in the showers).

This is a lovely park, with lovely staff and it was such a shame that it was nowhere near full. I found it very complicated to book online in order to get the advance booking discount, but even with that at 26€ it was a lot dearer than most. Please, please join ACSI and let others experience your site and La Pineda. Facilities immaculate and easy walk into town.

Tàrraco Karting is a fantastic destination for thrill-seekers and families alike, nestled in the beautiful city of Tarragona. This venue boasts an exciting array of activities, including exhilarating karting experiences on both indoor and outdoor circuits that cater to all ages. Whether you're racing under the sun or engaging in team-building paintball games, Tàrraco Karting promises a day filled with fun and adventure.
Highly recommend Tarraco Karting for large groups when in Spain. I was in a travel party of around 50 people and we had an absolute blast! The entire staff was very courteous, helpful, and quick. The facility was very clean and well managed. The go-karts are fast / perform well and the track is well maintained. A very large leaderboard displays lap times as you are racing and they have print outs for you after your heat as well. They even have a podium for winners! Our group was able to get several rounds of racing in and ordered plenty of drinks & snacks to keep us going. 10/10 must go try!!!

We travelled from Salou using BUSPLANA, 10min bus. swift response on WhatsApp and no need for booking as advised for me and my girlfriend. Very fast karts, great track, swift service, all amenities, very clean place with arcades and pool. Unbeatable price with a very fair surcharge for a short montage of your session. Didn’t treat us bad because we were English 🤣 staff were great. Been karting many times in UK, couldn’t recommend this place more!

We visited Tarraco Karting in Tarragona as part of our group's trip from the US to many cities in Spain. First of all, the city of Tarragona itself is worth the trip abroad. The "Balcony of the Mediterranean" is one of the most beautiful and rare places I have visited. Our time racing cars at Tarraco was so entertaining and fun for our group! The staff is professional and helpful. The cars are legitimately fast and super exciting to drive. The establishment is super clean and open and they serve a full variety of snacks, meals, and beverages with a large, bright lobby to relax in. They also have other games to play while waiting to drive if you'd like. A wonderful place to visit in an extraordinary city in Spain!

Such an amazing experience! I cannot recommend enough. I have a very limited knowledge about space and the stars and I got so much from the experience. I speak Spanish but was traveling with a cousin who does not. We ended up being a small group so they made every effort to translate or give us English language content so she could understand as well. It is clear they are passionate about the parc astronòmic and want people who come to get as much out of it as possible. I hope to come back one day. Thank you!

The predominant vegetation is oak grove with marful below 750 meters. There is also mountain oak and carrascar. The martinen oak grows in the obscure areas. Valencian oak, Scots pine and pinassa grow in the calcareous highlands. Also in the lowlands is the white pine and the pine pine introduced by man. What a great experience. Nikki our guide is a shining, dynamic, kind and surprising person! She picked us at our place and the adventure started. The journey to the canyon gaves us many beautiful panoramas of the natural reserve and the mountains. Once arrived at destination in the canyon, we enjoyed the crystal clear water like in the movies (drinkable by the way). We saw fishes, waterfalls, rocks, plants and much more! Nikki helped us to be confident in some jumps without forcing. There is always a workaroud. The cherry on the top is that Nikki took videos and photos and sent them through whatsapp without extra charging. Finally, regarding the level of difficulty, you have to be a minimum sportif. You have to walk about 3km but it definitely worths the price of the effort. Thanks again to the team!

Beautiful beach right in the city center of Tarragona. The beach had more stone sand compared to the other beaches out north. It is quite long but not that deep and can get quite crowded at the weekend. There is some parking at the north end, but did not look that trustful as a location in my eyes. The public facilities were unfortunately quite dirty but on the other side along the beach are several showers. The beach itself is nice for a city beach and a quick drive but I would recommend the beaches outside the city more.

I have visited many beaches in the EU and this is by far one of my favorites for a few reasons: 1) Savinosa is a Blue flag beach(look up what a Blue flag beach is). It's a rating given to beaches with certain water quality and facility standards. The sand is also cleaned daily. Something I noticed in other Spanish beaches are cigarette butts on the sand. I saw one on the sand here, but overall very clean and soft sand. No chair rental, but there is a cafe, restroom and showers. Bring your own umbrella. There is a free parking lot close by. NO dogs allowed. 2) very relaxed atmosphere. Kid friendly. I saw many children present. Note that this is a clothing optional beach, so nudity (topless and full nude) is present. But, clothed or not, nobody cares! This is one thing I love about European culture. The human body is the human body. Nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. We arrived in our birthday suit, leaving in it too :) If you are a prude, this beach is not for you (I guess no European beach would suit if topless women also bother you). 3) the waves break a bit further out, so there is a shallower area close to the shore that is ideal of kids or anyone just wanting to wade knee deep. Do note that the beach is in a cove with steep rocks on either end of the beach. Do not swim on either end as the current can be dangerous. Just use common sense. Someone had to be rescued while I was there. If you stay in the middle part of the beach, no issues. Water temp in early October was still tolerable. Enjoy! Will be back! Bookmarked as one of my favorites.

It is a very nice, small beach just outside the city, reachable with the bus lines 11, 12 and 13 (one way 1.50 Euro). It has wonderful water and soft, fine sand, a nice beach bar, toilets and showers. One half of the beach is for nudists. In the upper corner are the gays and some voyeurs as everywhere, the rest is local people just enjoying the beautiful small beach.

Very clean, close to our hotel, lots of space, no dogs. Worth going back to.

I was surprised the beach got such high ratings. There are buildings in the background and the train rattles through noisily every 20 minutes. you have to walk into the sea quite a while to be able to swim, it's shallow. the ground is very hard, bring a thick towel. the day I visited, a large section was cordoned off w yellow n red floaters bc it is dangerous to swim there. there are much better beaches further east, like Mora n Tamariu that dont have the urban feel

The beach is great, water is clear and crispy. You have to be ready to accept nude people in the one side of a beach. But the nature and sand is great, there is a free toilet there and showers.
