Theme park
PortAventura Park is a world-building theme park divided into five areas representing different continents, each with buildings and rides reflecting the culture of the country. The park features traditional entertainment facilities, roller coasters, rapids, 4D cinemas, and more. With over 1 million square meters of stunning landscape and 30,000 plant species, it offers a captivating experience.
Fantastic day out. Not been here since 2013, so 12 years on from then. We will be doing Ferrari Land another day before we leave the town. Since working out and becoming a bit wider in certain areas, I don’t fit on some of the rides. Due to the narrow bucket seats. Not a problem, but could do with a tester seat at some of the longer wait rides, so that the ride doesn’t get held up by not fitting in. Overall, very clean and enjoyable day.
Laura G — Google review
Nice theme park very spacious and organised. Very long queues and sometimes the rides get out off order due technical problems ( happened with us in several of them ) Food are overpriced for the quality and quantity and they charge a fee for the cup all the time . The shows are good decoration amazing area clean and organised. Worth a visit but you need to have patience for queues in every were
Happydays — Google review
Great experience for both adults and kids (8/10 y). We arrived on Saturday and stayed until Tuesday. A little bit crowded for top attractions but in 2 day we can touch them all. We had also checked at their hotel and I would strongly recommend, as you have 30min in advance exclusivity to the park in the morning before opening hours
Eu C — Google review
We, family of 4 (with an 8 and a 3 yo) were nicely surprised by this amusement park. We went in November during All Saints holidays and there was hardly any waiting time at the rides. Staff was really well made up for Halloween event, and the park was really nicely decorated. The only minor thing to improve would be to put a sign on the parking lot to remind people that it is forbidden to bring food and drinks to the park. An amazing experience to repeat longer next time!
Marie C — Google review
Super fun for all the family. There are a lot of attractions for small and big. Buy tickets in advance. There is a lot of people during the week and even more during the weekend. So you need to prepare yourself for a lot of queues to attractions or buy fast pass additionally, then you will not need to wait. Check the condition of fast pass as for example you will not be able to do one attraction every 15 min but you will need to have a 2h break. Don't forget to take sun cream as the is a lot of sun and not a lot of shadows. Food is not so good as there is a lot of people but it is eatable. Think to take a hotel in the park as there might be tickets to park and fast pass included and at the end it might be cheaper. If you will not get hotel in the park you will need to wait for the entrance to park a lot.
Magdalena — Google review
Amazing and very large park. If you want to ride all the thrill rides then you have to buy the express pass. Otherwise you have to stay in lines for hours and you will be absolutely disappointed and same goes for ferrari land. Puy the express pass before visiting because they will sell out fast even on weekdays.
Sigrit S — Google review
Too much waiting time. Why sell more tickets than there is space available for attractions? The reason is money — visitors’ comfort clearly isn’t the priority. Many queues are not shaded, and waiting under the sun quickly turns into a nightmare. On the positive side, the toilets are well-organized and clean. The shops, however, could be more reasonably priced given the high entrance fee. Overall, the park is beautiful and generally well-maintained.
Alexander M — Google review
This was a fantastic experience. There was lost of fantastic rides and areas to visit. Would suggest the 10 ticket fast pass for those on their first visit as the more popular rides can be a bit of a wait. However, there are plenty of rides for the family and not too long a queue. For them. The kids area "Seseme Street" was amazing for all not just the younger kids. Can't wait to go again.

Amphitheater
The Amfiteatre de Tarragona is a historic Roman amphitheater located on the coast, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Dating back to the late 1st century or early 2nd century BC, it was once a center for gruesome gladiator fights and public spectacles, as well as animal hunts. With a seating capacity of around 14,000 people, it was a prominent venue for entertainment and important events during its prime.
A beautiful journey through histwas truly unforgettable. The atmosphere is peaceful yet powerful — walking through this ancient Roman amphitheatre overlooking the Mediterranean Sea feels like stepping back in time. The site is well preserved, and the information signs helped us understand the incredible history behind it. It’s amazing to think about the events that took place here so many centuries ago. Great spot for photos, reflection, and just enjoying the moment together. Highly recommended for families, history lovers, or anyone visiting Tarragona.
Hamid A — Google review
Beautifully preserved! Great care was taken and it shows. Given the location, it is difficult to access for anyone with mobility issues so do prepare for that, but views from street level above are actually the most magnificent in my opinion. We assumed it would take 30-45 minutes to tour, but it can easily be seen in 10-15 minutes.
Allie R — Google review
The Roman Amphitheatre in Tarragona is absolutely worth a visit. It left a lasting impression on me — equally as awe-inspiring as the famous arena in Verona. Set against the backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea, it’s both a historical treasure and a visual masterpiece. Standing there, you truly feel the presence of ancient history. One interesting mathematical fact: the amphitheatre is built in an elliptical shape, which was not just aesthetic — it ensured excellent acoustics and allowed every spectator a clear view of the arena. Even by today’s standards, the engineering is remarkable. Historically, this site was used for gladiator combats and public executions during the Roman Empire. Most notably, it’s where Saint Fructuosus, a Christian bishop, was martyred in the 3rd century AD — giving the site deep spiritual and historical meaning. 👉 Visitor info (2025): The amphitheatre is open most days and is part of the “Tarragona Roman Heritage” ticket that also includes other ruins in the city. Admission is very affordable (a few euros), and entry is free on the first Sunday of each month. There are clear information panels in multiple languages, and the site is well-maintained with accessible walkways. Don’t miss the viewpoint above the amphitheatre — perfect for photos! Guided tours are available in high season, or you can use an audio guide app. Highly recommended for history lovers, architecture fans, and anyone who wants to feel the ancient spirit of Tarraco, the Roman name of Tarragona.
Aneta J — Google review
Historic place where you can see Roman ruins and later culture christian legacy build on the top of it. Impressive landscape with the sea as a background. No need to pay in order to see such wonder as it is open air and the places is very accesible.
Nelson G — Google review
Fantastic site, well worth the 5€ entry fee. Loved the glimpse of a historic amphitheatre. Audio guide gives the site information in an easy to understand form. Scan the QR code at the pay booth, choose your language and open on your phone.
Stephen T — Google review
What a scam! When walking around, you can clearly see into the ruins, yet in order to enter, they charge a five euro price. I understand the ruins are cool, but they are not worth the price and should be free. Especially since they are not hiding anything and are clearly visible. The only thing you are paying for you is the little signs that explain to you what's in there. Which, you could probably look up on a google synopsis in five minutes for the price of nothing. Get your views in, but do not pay to enter! It is not worth the money! I hope one day they can make it free.
Steve J — Google review
We didn’t go inside the Roman Amphitheater of Tarragona, since you can see almost everything from above. Being with a stroller and a small child, we felt that was enough. We took some nice photos from the viewpoint, but of course, if someone wants a closer look, it may be worth visiting inside.
Paweł — Google review
We just dropped on this place and it was set some beautiful grounds no toilets nearby and could be awkward for some disabled people

The National Archaeological Museum of Tarragona is a treasure trove of artifacts from the Roman ruins in Tarragona. It boasts an impressive collection of mosaics, sculptures, and other finds that showcase the cultural and material wealth of Roman Tarraco.
This small site was inexpensive but full of some fantastic exhibits, to include an audio guide app and English descriptions, too.
Ryan S — Google review
Many exhibits, good place to learn about the Roman roots of Tarragona! Prior reservations is not required, you can walk in and buy tickets
Vince D — Google review
While the main building of the National Archaeological Museum of Tarragona is undergoing long-term renovation, the temporary exhibition at Tinglado 4 in the port offers a well-curated insight into Roman Tarraco. Among the most impressive pieces is a marble relief in the shape of a gladiator’s shield, originally from the Roman villa of Els Munts. Another standout object is an ornate Roman balance scale, which reflects the everyday economy and attention to detail in trade and measurement. The exhibition also includes mosaics, portraits, domestic objects, jewelry and religious iconography each piece selected to show the scope of life in Tarraco, one of the most important Roman cities in Hispania. The space itself is modern, bright and easy to navigate. Despite being only a temporary venue, the experience feels complete and rewarding. Entry is affordable, and with the MNAT combined ticket you can also visit Els Munts and Centcelles, two Roman villa sites nearby. This exhibition is absolutely worth a stop for anyone interested in Roman history, archaeology or classical art, especially if you’re following the ancient traces of Tarraco across the region.

The National Archaeological Museum of Tarragona was a very interesting visit. We got to see many statues and artifacts, which gave us a good impression of the city’s rich history. Overall everything was very well organized. The tickets were reasonably priced, and for what we saw, it felt more than worth it. In general, it was a very nice experience and definitely worth visiting if you are in Tarragona.

Nice little museum on the history of Tarragona. My senior entry fee was only 2 euros. Take a look at the port while you are there as there are many high end yachts there in port. Definitely worth checking out.

Visitors staying at PortAventura Hotel Caribe - Theme Park Tickets Included can easily access Ferrari Land along with other nearby attractions. Lovely, clean, spacious park. Good selection of kids rides which my Son enjoyed, queues were short too so very little wait time for them. The star of the show is of course Red Force! I loved that there was a viewing area to sit and watch it whizz by. Worth a visit.
Debbi M — Google review
Amazing theme park one of a kind. Very spacious clean and organised. Get ready for long queues depends the days and times but worth the wait. Gates just open 16:30 and close late time enough to enjoy all the rides Me and my family enjoy a lot here... I would recommend a visit definitely
Happydays — Google review
I think most people will be visiting Ferrari Land purely for "The Red one", other than this ride we only went on 3 others as the park was only open 1700-2200. The Red one was great....the others not so much. But please near in mind we are seasoned Theme park visitors.....had we never had be on "soaring" we maybe would have appreciated "Flying dream" however with a 1hr 45 min wait we didn't. Racing legends seemed to be operating at Limited capacity and the "water jets" weren't working. We entered the park from Portaventura as hotel guests and queued for 30 mins, we then went straight to "The Red one" and queued for around 30 mins. The queues after that were over 2 hours. We ate at "Pit stop" the food was as expected for pizza, chips etc however the service was extremely slow. If you are willing to pay entry for 1 ride then its a good ride, generally the park isn't thay great, small and gift shops are crazy expensive.
Jo F — Google review
Amazing experience, would need a couple of days to do all rides as times were avg 1.5hrs. Museum had lots of interesting facts. Photo opportunities for all the family, in a road car and f1 car. If time isn’t on your side, pay for the fast track/express tickets and you can’t go wrong with those. If you like Ferrari heritage and fast rides, Red Force is the main attraction for that.
Laura G — Google review
Absolutely adore this place. Bought the 3 day 3 park tickets. Bought fast passes for the 5 ride pack and it was so good. The Ferrari ride is amazing. I went on it twice and was gutted I had to leave. Highly recommend this park. If you’re scared of rides or feel uneasy going on the red force ride GO ON IT!!!! You won’t regret it and it’s unbelievable.
Lily W — Google review
If you are a F1 Ferrari team fan you will love this place! To see a real racing car, experience of driving a simulation of F1 race or adrenalin rush in a Red Force rollercoster is a lifetime memory! Even the children can ride in small cars and also try F1 simulator. Everything is amazing wherever you look. Highly recommended to any F1 fan.
Aleksandra — Google review
A very nice destination for car enthusiasts , Ferrari’s all over the place! The Gallery is awesome, the store is modest the rollercoaster is wonderful. The Enzo Ferrari 3d video and simulator is unbelievable! They needed to add serious toys for big boys like me such as having a test drive with instructor on the circuit.
Sam H — Google review
Not worth the money! There are only a couple of rides interesting for adults, the queues are unreal, the express pass is expensive (€38) and only allows you to ride the 5 main attractions once. There are no special privileges for the express pass inside the attractions either; for example, in Flying Dreams, they seated us right at the edge, where the image distortion is the worst, and we were the first to enter the hall. The Maranello Grand Race is a dull, slow, dark, and uncomfortable experience.

The Ferreres Aqueduct, also known as Pont de les Ferreres and Pont del Diable, is an ancient Roman aqueduct located just 4 kilometers north of Tarragona. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was built in the 1st century to supply water to the city of Tarraco. Today, it is a popular spot for scenic walks and picnics, offering a breath of fresh air away from the crowds.
A hidden Roman jewel very close to the centre of Tarragona. The conservation is exceptional. The whole arcade is a monumental ensemble that deserves to be visited. You can walk through the upper part from side to side. If you like Roman culture, it is a must to visit.
JRRJ C — Google review
Great place for a walk and really historic. Sadly the car park was full of broken glass because they have people waiting for you to leave and then they break into your vehicle. Please be careful if you park here! We were lucky but so many others weren't
Njb — Google review
Pretty nice place, lovely to see how well it's been kept over all these years. Parking nearby is easy and was easy to reach too. The park around the aqueduct is quite nice as well. Had a nice walk. Visit took a little less than an hour overall.
Chris H — Google review
Visited this aquaduct on a visit to Tarragona. It dates from reign of Augustus, 2000 yrs ago. It's in great condition considering it's age. The stonemasonry is excellent, I walked across the top, the local government has put a safety wall on but sides. The Romans were outstanding in civil engineering and hydraulic systems. There was more than likely a huge underground tank in the city centre.
Donnchadh K — Google review
Superb Roman Aqueduct This is one of the bet preserved aqueduc I have been too. It is great and looks fantastic. You really wonder how on earth did they build this 2000 years ago? I personally am a bit of a history buff and really enjoy this kind of places. It takes a bit of walking from the parking but is seriously worth it. Highly recommended.
Paul V — Google review
Free great views good place to hike easy trails. Would definitely recommend going to visit at least the aqueduct.
Kathy M — Google review
The Ferrets Aqueduct is a truly impressive and underrated place to visit near Barcelona. You can easily get there by city bus (just remember to catch the return bus from the same stop where you got off). There's a large parking area available if you're coming by car. There are no public restrooms or shops on site, so it's a good idea to bring your own water and snacks. The area is spacious, with lots of nature, perfect for walking or cycling. You can easily spend anywhere from an hour to the whole day here enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The aqueduct itself is really striking and well worth seeing. It's a free attraction and a great option if you're looking to escape the city for a bit. Highly recommended!
Aneta J — Google review
The Aqueduct of Ferreres near Tarragona is a stunning piece of Roman engineering from the 1st century AD. It once carried water into the ancient city of Tarraco and still stands today in remarkable condition. The structure is about 217 meters long and 27 meters high, built from massive stone blocks without mortar, with two elegant tiers of arches. It’s very easy to visit: there’s a small parking lot nearby, and from there it’s just a 3-minute walk. Even if you don’t climb up to the top (which is possible on foot), the view from below is impressive enough. It’s one of those stops where you can get a real “wow effect” in 10 -15 minutes, making it perfect even with a stroller or during a road trip break.

A beautiful place to visit. Easy to find the car park. Scan for an excellent free audio guide at the shop and then an instructive introductory video. The on-site cafe was also a pleasant surprise with fresh pastries. The audio guide gave enough information but not too much. (There was always an option for more detail.) A very pleasant couple of hours but could have easily spent more time.

Very nice Monastery. Plenty of parking space. Discounts for students, not for ICOM members. The ticket lady had not a very friendly attitude for someone who works with people every day but other than that the rest of the staff very kind.

An impressive and historically important Monastery that was a mausoleom for the Aragon Royals in medieval times. Well maintained and still a working Monastery which means numerous parts are closed to the public. Worth the visit if you are close by, friendly staff but not sure if the app is worth downloading if you've done your homework!

Wonderful water park, lots of different slides for both children and adults. You can have a snack or drink cold drinks. an important point for me personally, there are lockers, you can leave your phone, money, etc., but! remember the 3-digit locker number and the 6-digit code somehow or take a marker 😂 because you are given a paper receipt, my watch saved me, where I entered the code as a note. also, an important point for photo lovers, I carried my phone in a waterproof case, know that they will not let you on the slides with a chain, with a phone, etc., you need to take pictures! you can only take your phone to a slow river or to a pool

Place to be absolutely avoided Very dirty in common areas, toilets areas as well as attractions, with serious risks of getting skin irritation as happened to me ... I unfortunately visited this park this July and it was a carnage. Uncontrolled number of people made the situatuin very caothic. Queues of a minimum of over one hour for each attraction with several blockages and slowdowns due also to the poor preparation of the young and inexperienced staff. Dirty everywhere and unpleasent discussions with other visitors standing to grab your chair or sunbed as soon you get up or, simply because insufficient in numbers compared with the uncontrolled number of people admitted. All of this at the "cheapest " price of 47 Euro ,if you cannot book online in advance for chhosing a fix date, plus 15 Euros for parking and 8 Euros for a small locker.....More than adventure an unpleasent disadventure .....

If you are staying few days around, then you must visit it along with the 2 other parks (portaventura world and ferrari land). However, if you are visiting just for one day, I would suggest just going to Portaventura world instead. We stayed at one of the portavenrura hotels nearby for 3 days to be able to discover all 3 parks (portaventura world, portaventura aquatic park and ferrari land). We spent one day in this caribe aquatic park.

I’m visiting this park every year in the last 10 years. The kids love the place . I’ve decided to give the place minimum score because it doesn’t care about the guest . 2025 is almost 2015 , very little in places shadows . The sun is killing in Spain . And the place doesn’t care about his guests health . The food . I understand it should be expensive as they do the maximum to take any penny they can . Fat food, almost nothing healthy . So above fun , take care of your guests . Put many umbrellas so people can hide from the sun, and sell healthy food.

We were absolutely delighted with our visit to the water park! Since we only had one day, we decided to purchase VIP tickets — and it turned out to be the best choice. They were worth every penny: the VIP lines were minimal, while the regular ticket lines stretched far beyond the designated areas. Thanks to this, we were able to enjoy more attractions without wasting time in queues and fully immerse ourselves in the experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, everything was clean, and the staff was polite and well-organized. I highly recommend it to everyone, especially if your time is limited or if you want to spend the day in maximum comfort.

The worst aqua park I ever been, and I've been in all over the World, from Turkey, UAE to Australia... Not many slides and pools, but the worst of all is that it is too much crowded, there is 3 times more people than capacity! For every slide waiting is more than an hour, some even 2... If you want to eat, more than 1 hour waiting and count minimum 100€ for 4 persons with 1 drink. My advice, if you want to go anyway, buy extra pass and than there is 0 mins waiting.. If you enter at 11am, don't count you will get any sunbeds, it's completely full! Locker rooms also waiting time around 30 minutes and it is 8€ for small and 11€ for bigger bags! Better go once again to PortAventura World and Ferrari World.

Came to the park just with my two kids 12 and 10 in on a Thursday in the May school holiday. Being a single parent, I was quite concerned about the logistics of keeping valuables safe while also enjoying the park with the kids. However, the lockers are quite straightforward - once paid, you get a printout with a locker allocation and a six digit pin. I managed to remember this which meant I could put everything in the locker. I would say these are good for one medium sized rucksack and a few other extras. We got to the park from the Barcelona-Salou train, that gets in a 10 and had bought tickets in advance at the train station - would recommend this or alternatively on line as there are queues for on-site ticket purchasing. The park opened at 11, and there was only a short queue once we got through the bag check zone (that is for all three parks). The water park is great and, at this time of year, it was not very busy - we easily got a lounger under the shaded area and the weather was perfect for us. The slides are great and the queues were minimal throughout the day. The green and blue Barracudas are great (green one is better) and so is El Torrente, which is a big dinghy that can hold up to four each time. Many say the lifeguards blow whistles too much but as long as you know what to do it is fine. As my sunglasses are prescription, it was slightly annoying not being able to wear them on the lazy river or Bahama Beach but I coped. Didn't try the food but had a couple of beers and ice creams. Took a large bottle of water in. In all, would say this is a great time to visit this park. I suspect that in the summer this would not get 5 stars as I expect queues would be much larger and weather too hot!

We had fun at this water park, we got there at opening time on a Monday and it was already very busy and we had to queue for lockers (expensive!). If we were to go again we maybe wouldn't bother with a locker and would leave our things on a sunbed instead as most people seemed to be doing. We had to queue for some slides but we didn't think it was too bad. We spent all day there and went on all of the slides we wanted to and some twice. I do think there must be a more efficient system for the rings though, having to queue to get one then queue again for the slide wasn't ideal. The food was okay, they had veggie hotdogs which were good. You get a reusable cup if you buy a drink. There's no photographers so you won't get a souvenir photo.

Aquopolis Costa Daurada in La Pineda Salou is a thrilling aquatic amusement park offering an array of attractions for the whole family. From giant water slides to swimming pools and marine life shows, there's something for everyone. The park also features chill-out areas where you can relax and rent loungers or floats. With its numerous restaurants, kiosks, and shops, Aquopolis Costa Daurada promises a fun-filled day out.
We all had a great time here! Myself and my partner came with our three kids (10, 7 and 2) all had a great time (contrary to my daughters face in the photo) The thing that makes me most nervous about waterparks/theme parks is the queue with children as it can really effect the day. No queue to get in and the maximum we waited was 3-4 minutes to get on a ride so it was perfect. Good mixture of slow rides for everyone and a couple of bigger/faster slides for more thrill seeking people. A few of the food places where shut down so that was limited but we went on a weekday and we went out of peak times so that was to be expected. 100% you need to get discount tickets from a local shop/hotel - they all have them! its not cheap and everywhere you go they are giving away free discounts for 25% each ticket so get them!

I have been visiting Spain for over six years with my family during our summer holidays, and one of the highlights of our trips has always been Aquopolis Costa Daurada. We have always looked forward to coming here, and it has brought us a lot of joy over the years. However, I’ve noticed that the infrastructure and attractions have remained largely unchanged during this time. While the park still offers enjoyable experiences, it feels like there has been little development or innovation in terms of services, facilities, or new attractions. To keep up with modern expectations and continue attracting loyal and new visitors alike, I believe it would be beneficial to consider some updates or improvements. Whether it’s renovating existing areas, adding new features, enhancing customer service, or improving guest comfort—any steps toward development would make a big difference. We truly appreciate the memories we’ve made at Aquopolis Costa Daurada, and we hope to see the park evolve in a positive way in the years to come.

Clean ! This was my first impression, the water was clean not smelling like chlorine, no stinging in eyes 👀 . It’s a bit of a queue on some attractions but the staff is managing it pretty quick . The kids zone if you are with a small child is a bit crouded (normal) , even if your little one cannot swim there are free life-jackets.

Good day out, found this park very well suited for children all ages and adults. Recommend you get there for opening time as it gets a bit busier a couple of hours in. There are ticket deals to be had some with your holiday package and others some with McDonald's buy one get one free we where told this by another family. The price for a family of four we paid around €85. Sun beds you do have to pay i believe this was €7 each. You dont have to have one qe seen many people put a towel on the grass and there was plenty of shade. There are lockers on site wich are chargeable but we didn't use and didn't see we need to so im not sure how much these where. One of the noticeable things we noted there was plenty of lifeguards wich is really important we feel especially with small children. The rides the ones we went on was very good and a good verity, I would recommend do the volcano and black hole early as the ques for these do increase as the day goes on. If you want to maximise your slides I'd recommend a fast pass as these people didn't have to wait 3 to 5 minutes to what we saw. The smaller pool and slides are very good for young ages from baby to 10 years, there is plenty to do in for all. The waiting areas when queuing are well shaded. The food and drink we had was reasonably priced for a theme park. Belived we paid about €8 for a hot dog and it was a about a foot long. There was plenty of choice of fast food, ice cream and drinks. We took our own snacks and drinks in, no one questioned this and we seen plenty of others do the same. Signs and map was clear, plenty of toilets near by. All in all would recommend this place and found it less than half price of there competition near by. You can buy tickets on site or online. The que for buying tickets on site took us about 10 minutes and the staff spoke multiple languages. There are some individual rides and some family rides so all can go together wich is rather nice. Easy walkable from front of La Pinda, there are taxis that can go from out side and prices on the board. The bus stop is near by on the main road. Near by there are some restaurants and some local shops.

This is the best aquatic park of the country for us. We have bene fer almost 6 years and we never get tired of it. This is the last test and the mantainance is not as good as other years. But the security is still perfect. Sad to say that it is the last day we go there, because it will be closed.
Laia S — Google review
A super place to bring the family. But the queues are long (unless you pay for an extortionate speedy pass), and over the years instead of there being new things, there are actually less things to do. A wee revamp and a new slide or two would help. Food seems pricey but the portions we got were good size leaving everyone full.
Gareth H — Google review
Great waterpark, good selection of rides. I got a discount for booking online but didn't realise you had to pay for sunbeds etc. worth while just putting towels on the grassy areas for the amount we used them and next time we would definitely take food into the park for lunch. There was a lot of queueing as you queue for the rings to sit on then you queue again for the slide. Overall we had a great day and really enjoyed it and would definitely go back.
Lauren R — Google review
Great day and fun slides. The slides had an average waiting time of 1h which was really long Some slides randomly took brakes and nobody cared to tell us the reason or how long the brake would take. I’d recommend this park but only when there aren’t that many people. We had a promo code online but you can perfectly buy tickets at entry since there weren’t that many people waiting there (arrived at 11:30). To get on the parking and to buy a parking ticket took really long (I’d advise a different system)

Circ Romà is an ancient Roman circus dating back to the 1st century CE, serving as a venue for chariot racing events in Tarragona. Today, ongoing excavation work provides insight into its vibrant past. Visitors can explore the ruins and access a free audio guide detailing the site's history and usage. The circus once accommodated up to 30,000 spectators and was gradually encompassed by medieval Tarragona.
Really nice place. You can see a lot from the roman constructions and the circuit. The entrance is just 5 Eur pp and you can spend easily 1-2 hrs. there. There ate a lot of explanations and an audioguide for free. On top there is a nice video construction showing the excavation and the 3d model of the roman city back then. Highly recommended

I bought combo 15 euro / 4 attractions, this place Circ Roma & Pretori definitely worth the most! Scenic, loads of materials to learn about the history of the ancient Roman history & cultures! P/S: don't bother go to Casa Canals, and Amfitheater you can observe from above, no need buy ticket to go inside

We enjoyed our visit. Our entrance was free on the Tuesday we visited. Lots of information and really interesting history. There are toilets and a lift for those who really need it. The view point is really great, over looking parts of the city

A very interesting place with a lot of history. The entrance fee is €5 per adult and it’s definitely worth it. We visited with a baby stroller and it wasn’t a problem. The tunnels are fascinating, especially one that is really tall. At the end, you can go up and enjoy a beautiful view over Tarragona and the amphitheater. It’s also convenient that there are toilets available. Highly recommended!

The medieval walled city of Tarragona is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and contains many ancient Roman structures, including the Roman Circus, Amphitheatre, and the Roman and paleo-Christian necropolis. The wall surrounding the city is approximately 3.5 kilometers long, dating back to the 3rd century BCE. The walk takes about an hour and is well worth it for any history buff!
The Roman Walls of Tarragona are impressive remains from the 3rd century BC, some of the oldest in the Iberian Peninsula. A must-see for history lovers.

Aqualeón is an exciting water park located in Tarragona, Spain. It offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure with its pools, giant slides, beach area, and picnic spots. The park caters to visitors of all ages, featuring thrilling attractions like steep slides and a rapid river for adults and older kids, as well as shallow pools with playsets for the little ones. Visitors can also unwind under palm trees on deck chairs when they need a break from the exhilarating activities.
Really great family day out -some tips Buy tickets in advance Hot day we got fast pass tickets -about €16 euro each but we got to skip queues all day for over 16 rides - kids some 25 rides so well worth it Got a shaded area on hill with free deck chairs to chill Bring a picnic but leave in car and leave park ( 5 min walk ) to lovely shared picnic area Some slides are really fast so be prepared!! All in all we travelled by car from Villanova and lovely drive there Kids said it was best day ever !!
Niall C — Google review
A good, fun family day out. The park is very picturesque as you drive up to it! If you arrive before opening time, you queue outside in your car. Once the barrier opens, it's a race as 5 lanes converge into one to drive the last couple of minutes to the car park! Parking is 5 euros which you pay for in the park. You are given a token which you use on the way out. At the entrance, we showed a member of staff our downloaded pre-paid tickets and were directed to one of two queues. Both queues, however, were trying to get through one gate. After getting nowhere for 10 minutes, the group behind us who also had pre-paid tockets went to the information office. They were allowed through immediately and gratefully waved us over to do the same!! There were 5 coaches full of school kids entering the park at the same time as us, so we made the decision to buy Fast Track passes at 14 euros each. Once in, we found a grassy area to put our towels. You cannot take picnics into the park, and there is a shaded picnic area. However, your bag is not searched, so if you wanted to take small snacks and water, I'm sure it would be ok! They say it is for health and safety, but you can buy food and drink right next to the pool area? The picnic area has lots of tables and chairs, is in the shade, and there is a kiosk selling ice cream and drinks. The park itself was clean and the rides were good fun. Some of them left you a bit sore as they seemed to have quite aggressive endings....resulting in you being thrown from your float or hitting various body parts off of the walls 😬 Our 7 year old children were able to go on all the attractions which was good. They went down the Black Hole together several times. On one occasion, as they came out of the slide, one child accidentally kicked the other in the face. He then slipped getting out of the pool, and fell quite hard onto the ground. The lifeguard rushed over to him to make sure he was ok. The lifeguards were very attentive and took notice of the kids as they left each ride. The park is very hilly, and it can be quite hard work carrying the floats to the top of each slide (admittedly, I am not very fit, however I would say I am of average ability!) The ground surface also gets very slippy so would definitely recommend shoes or sandals to wear. A lot of kids were coming down the slides with their sandals slipped over their forearms. I would also recommend the Fast Track passes. We did not have to queue to get our floats and were able to get to the front of the queue on half the slides, which was a real bonus. The amount of red fast track floats available shows that they definitely want you to buy the pass! Normally we wouldn't, but the park was very busy and it was very hot! There is a good variety of slides and attractions for young children which was great. The park was clean and there's space to lie on the grass and get some peace. It is a shame you have to walk to the picnic area but it's not a huge negative. Some of the rides were a bit sore so would recommend watching people get off them for a couple of minutes first before deciding to go on 😆 (I am a 47 year old with a bad back so form your own opinion obviously!!) We visited on 10th of July and it was very busy and noisy, however overall a good, fun family day out. As you leave the car park you pop your token in the barrier and away you go.
Katie F — Google review
A great water park, well worth a visit. Okay, so let's talk about good stuff. Rides are fun, staff are helpful, place is clean and well maintained. It's a stunning location in the middle of the forest, just beautiful. Parking is easy and well managed. Now, on to the stuff that doesn't work so well... Yes, there are 2 different queues. Queues for the floats (get them at the bottom of the rides, from the people who just finished) and queues to enter the rides. It's a theme park, there are queues, that's life. It's hard to blame Aqualeon for this, they can't provide a queue free water park! If you hate queuing, buy the fast pass 🤷. We were there on a day that was about 50% max occupancy (I asked a staff member), and wait time was 10-20 mins for a float and 5-15 for a ride. In 6 hours, we rode 8 rides and spent an hour on the wave pool.. seems pretty good to me. The lost star is for the food. I get it, it's a captive market, people who didn't bring their own food will pay €17 for a not very good pizza or burger. It's expensive, and the food could be easily improved (it's not terrible, but not great but value level is low due to high cost). *However* They provide a really good picnic area with a free to use microwave, and I think that's really good 👍. This is a great water park, we'd visit again for sure. Thank you Aqualeon!
Charles H — Google review
We have been there early in June. We must not wait longer than 5-10 minutes. The slides were great, it was a lot of fun! But the prices for really bad food was horrible! 6,90 Euro for fat soaked French Fries… seriously?!
Alexander K — Google review
The waterpark is situated in the forest, with a lot of trees which give shadow and a bit of coolness. Water is clear, all slides are working, food and drinks available and fresh. What could be done better: the locker bracelet should be with a chip. Then you can pay with chip around the park and at the end, when you go out- you pay the bill. (We had to keep phones and money what wals really uncomfortable). Other frustrating thing is ques. Long long ques for all slides, even two for each. One is for taking a tube and then other to take a ride. (It could be one que, could be more tubes to ride etc). Generally all was good, clean and fun. Eleminating these two issues you will become the best waterpark. Thank you.

The Maqueta de la ciutat romana de Tarraco is a detailed model of the ancient city of Tarraco, which was once the capital of Hispania Citerior and Hispania Tarraconensis. Located in Antiga Audiencia, this cultural center offers visitors a glimpse into the historical significance of Tarraco in preserving the Roman Empire.
Interesting model of the city, which you can now only access at certain times when the mapping is on (15 minute video show) which describes each item of interest on the map. English show is currently only at weekends at 11am, check the website for up to date timings.

Brilliant attraction, reasonable entry fee of 4 Euros per adult and 2.50 Euros per child. Lots of information boards, great views, and you could explore the area at your own pace. History of this castle goes on before the invasion of the Greeks and Romans. Ancient Church and priest tower to chant the Bible to ward off evil sports of storms. Very significant castle. If you can, this is a great visit.

Casa Museu Castellarnau is a museum housed in a restored aristocratic residence that dates back to the 15th century. It was home to influential families until the 19th century and has ties to Emperor Charles. The interior showcases furniture and decorative objects from the 1700s and 1800s, offering a glimpse into the lifestyle of that era.
The Castellarnau House was built at the start of the XV century. Up to the end of the XIX century, it was the residence of some of the most influential families in the city. Emperor Charles I lived here during his stay in Tarragona in 1542. Charles of Castellarnau bought it half-way through the XVIlL century and it stayed in the family until, in 1954. it became municipal property. The interior of the house has architect- structures from various periods. On the ground floor we can see a series of pointed arcs dated from the XIV and XV centuries. The patio and spiral staircase with columns and Gothic capitols are from the same period. The building was acquired by Charles of Castellarnau during the XVIII century and important changes to the façade and interior distribution were made. The noble floor has rooms with furniture from the XVIll and XIX centuries. The most emblematic area is the ballroom, with roof paintings depicting mythological themes done by Provencal painter Josep Bernat Flaugier at the end of the XVIII century. An old kitchen has been restored on the ground floor. There is also a permanent sample of the Molas i Agramunt collection, a heterogenic set of archaeological and ethnographic pieces that cover a wide chronological period; the Quintana inheritance, where we can see a model of the first aeroplane to fly over the city in 1913.

This was included in a package ticket we bought for 15€ per person. I dont think we would visit here if it was part of the package. It is beautiful to see the house set up and the chandeliers upstairs are phenomenal. The tile flooring is beautiful. Staff super friendly. Toilets downstairs in the basement smelt funny. The whole house had a musty smell but to be expected. I think an interactive tour would be better than us wandering around. Would be nice to learn the history of the house and the use of the house or earphones in different languages. Well preserved.
Christina B — Google review
A good little stop to add onto your attractions list. It is roughly around €5 per person to enter. Although I was unsure if to enter as it just looked like pots to my left, I'm glad I went. You also get a little handy note book, in your language. It was nice to see the different room styles and how both interior and items have changed. The likes of the size of a double bed back then, to now. The celling artwork, to the furniture. It's a nice look around and a chance to get out of the sun. The only issue, is that the toilets weren't the best and smelled.
E G — Google review
It's a very strange museum. There's absolutely no story behind it. Inside you will find a couple of nice pieces of furniture, a couple of paintings and the shelves full of chemical bottles, but you won't find any hint at how this all works together: the objects are not attributed in any way, people on portraits and their authors remain unknown, there's no connection to the family which owned all that (who they were and why they decided to preserve the house also remains in darkness). This collection of objects costs 5 Euro. That's not much, but the visit itself is utterly senseless, so be warned.
Alexander C — Google review
Amazing and beautiful house/museum with well preserved furniture from past centuries. The staff is friendly and attentive, and will give you a lot of information about its history. It has a beautiful interior patio. A must-see in Tarragona!

Beautiful but not outstanding house. As often here almost no information in any foreign language. Not to miss: the courtyard and the little room with the cassette ceiling with plant motives.

The Roman quarry of El Mèdol, located about 6 km east of Tarragona, is a fascinating site to explore ancient Roman history and culture. The limestone quarry spans several hectares and features the Torre dels Escipions burial tower. Visitors can take a self-paced tour along well-marked paths with informative signage in multiple languages explaining how the Romans utilized the stones from the quarry to construct cities around Tarraco.
Amazing old roman quarry. Very tourist attractive with modern made routes with different languages information posts and terraces with benches for rest. Quarry is not small, spent there about an hour walking around and the bottom part of it. I was there early in the morning, just at sunrise absolutely alone all the time. Fantastic experience. Stunning monolith about 20 meters high and around couple of thousands years old provides authentic feelings.

OMG... This place is amazing. It makes you feel like in Jurassic Park...the only bad thing is the constant noise from the highway, but there is so much beauty around and you will ignore it. The place is free to visit, at least in the winter time. So clean, so well maintained.
Suzana R — Google review
A delightful place to visit. Free to wonder around, with plaques in various languages. Not sure how you get to the main entrance. We parked in a layby when Google maps wanted us to drive up a dirt track! But there was a footpath sign post and it was easy to reach. A bit rocky and gravelly underfoot.
Angela B — Google review
How to get here; from the service station you will see a sign for "El Medal". Follow gravel road for just over 1km to large parking area. Note as of 2023 the walkway within the quarry is closed
Lou F — Google review
Fantastic place to get to know about ancient Roman history, their tradition, culture. You can visit the site at your own pace. Entrance is free. The well-signed path will take up and down a few hills. Plenty of signage in four languages will explain everything there is to know about how Romans used stones from que quarry to build the cities around Tarraco. No guide available, food or water. So take your own and be ready for a sporty (at times pretty hot) trek 😊. Beware of the wasps. I got stung a few times by an angry swarm while on Lookout #2. Loved this spot!
Yuri P — Google review
Definitely MUST SEE! free entrance, free parking and so beautiful!

Nice to walk around with little information boards, which tell you about the differentiates of the quarry. Couldn't get into the "clot" as the gates were locked but this was advertised. Had to access via the services on the A7 aftervjunction 34. We did have to collect a toll token when we accessed at junction 34, but left at junction 35 and didn't get charged.

Interesting place despite the access to the bottom of the pit being closed. The information on the boards along the path is not great but it’s a pleasant walk around the Catalan countryside.

The Early Christian cemetery of Tàrraco is a significant archaeological site in Tarragona, showcasing the city's early adoption of Christianity. The necropolis features inscriptions dating back to the early Christian era and is believed to have connections to Saint Paul's visit to Spain. Excavated almost a century ago during the construction of a nearby factory, this well-maintained site offers insight into the customs and beliefs of the powerful Roman Empire.
Very unique and important archeological site and museum, and very cheap to enter. I do wish there was more written information, and that there was English or even Spanish included on the displays in the visitor center, but if you pull up the audio guide there are also English materials available for many of the displays (in the visitor center, the displays are only in Catalan). The full price of entry is only €5 (and that includes admission to the Archeological Museum too!!) so it's a VERY good deal and worthwhile if you have any interest in premodern history. Also, the entrance to the museum is not located exactly where Google maps directs you to. If you are coming from southeast of the museum, you will pass the entrance on your way to the entrance where Google directs you.

Totally fabulous and fun day on the zip lines - both for parents and teens! Our 14 year old son had a total blast. In spite of being terrified of heights, I felt ease in trying... and after patient explanation and encouragement from the brilliant monitors, I was zipping away and even going back to try the courses a second time. We went on a very hot day but it felt tolerable in the shade, and plenty of cold water at the snack bar. 4 hours of memorable fun, thanks Jungle Trek crew!

The audio guide is clear and informative, making the experience even more engaging. While there are no original works by Miró, the collection and the space itself are still very interesting. The house is lovely as is the workshop. The audio was helpful. The gift shop is small but sells some cute merchandise. We arrived by taxi as its seems to be in the middle of nowhere. It took a while to arrange a taxi to leave.

A breath of tranquility in a busy world of today. Well preserved place where the art history was made. Iam sure the family gave up this place only after the highway was build right next to it...which is rather practical, if you are tourist. The Roman theatre of Tàrraco is a significant historical site in Tarragona, known for its well-preserved ruins dating back to the 2nd century. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it features remnants of an amphitheater, aqueducts, religious buildings, city walls, and part of the Aurelian Way. The theater complex also includes the Arch of Bera and the Tower of the Scipios along the Via Augusta.
Lovely to look at, has information in English and Spanish, lots of different viewing points and can see from different angles

We visited the Roman Theatre of Tàrraco (Teatre de Tàrraco), but unfortunately it was closed. You can see everything from the outside through the fence, but honestly, there isn’t much to it. Instead, we walked towards the nicer part of the Old Town, where we found more interesting sights. So this place can basically be skipped.
Paweł — Google review
Through the fence this looked like an interesting piece of history in the middle of Tarragona. Unfortunately I do with it had more information posted outside that wasn't covered in trash or what I tell myself was bird droppings. I waited for about 30 minutes with others who arrived from a tour group waiting for the gates to open when they were scheduled to, but nobody ever came. Maybe it's a private, reserved tour sort of thing that wasn't accurately described on Google, but it wasn't the first nor last place in Spain supposed to be open that never did.

I'm not sure five stars really encapsulates how phenomenal Travel Priorat is. Ania, our tour guide, is incredibly knowledgeable about the region and unbelievably kind-- both to her guests but also to the winemakers and residents we visit. She created a phenomenal itinerary on very short notice. She knew incredible details about each winery we visited and also added delightful insights throughout our journey (including small things like stopping on the side of the road, seeing a particular wildflower, and describing its history in the region). We enjoyed each winery, and even other little stops like into a precious olive oil makers studio and a delicious lunch. You won't regret booking this tour. It truly was a magical day. I'm already trying to think of a way we can do it again.... Thanks Ania! You do a great job. Thanks for such an incredible experience. 💜

We had a complete custom + private tour every where we went and I cannot recommend Blanca enough. From pulling over on the side of the road to find wild herbs, to finding us an olive oil tasting at the end of the day, we had the best time thanks to her expertise! We talked about food, wine, culture and life. It was a day I’ll truly never forget. Blanca’s knowledge of wine combined with her love for her home made this experience top notch. I would not go with anyone else! I would definitely recommend Travel Priorat for their professionalism, attention to detail, great communication, and authenticity.

From start to finish, my family’s experience with Travel Priorat was outstanding. Ania is a tremendous resource for anyone who wants to dig into the history, wines, and culture of the region. She knows the area like the back of her hand, and was able to craft an expert itinerary tailored to our interests and wine preferences. Ania has cultivated close contacts with many of the best wineries in the Priorat and each of our three tasting experiences felt more like a gathering of old friends. It was an absolute privilege to spend a day touring the countryside with her, and we hope to do so again in the future!

Highly recommend Tarraco Karting for large groups when in Spain. I was in a travel party of around 50 people and we had an absolute blast! The entire staff was very courteous, helpful, and quick. The facility was very clean and well managed. The go-karts are fast / perform well and the track is well maintained. A very large leaderboard displays lap times as you are racing and they have print outs for you after your heat as well. They even have a podium for winners! Our group was able to get several rounds of racing in and ordered plenty of drinks & snacks to keep us going. 10/10 must go try!!!

The "Balcony of the Mediterranean" is one of the most beautiful and rare places I have visited. Our time racing cars at Tarraco was so entertaining and fun for our group! The staff is professional and helpful. The cars are legitimately fast and super exciting to drive. The establishment is super clean and open and they serve a full variety of snacks, meals, and beverages with a large, bright lobby to relax in. They also have other games to play while waiting to drive if you'd like. A wonderful place to visit in an extraordinary city in Spain!

A cool shady walk along the foot of the Roman city walls which are very impressive. There are numerous information points which add to the visitors understanding of the construction and phases of construction. Really great experience! The guys were super nice and explained everything well. Sadly i don’t speak Spanish and they explained everything in English, which worked out great, so definitely recommended even if you only speak english. Thank you so much! Prices are definitely reasonable and as someone who has never tried driving a Jetski before, 20 Minutes were a great amount of time for the first time.

Great experience. My wife and I took our kids (11 and 14 years). We all had a very good time. We just followed the instructor at sea and everything was great. They are very concerned on our safety so We can recommend for other families to try.

Museum
T4 Tinglado 4: Estació Maritima is a temporary museum located in Tarragona, offering a glimpse into the city's history. Despite being housed in a temporary location, it provides an insightful experience with well-presented exhibits and artifacts from the early Roman era. The museum features informative panels in multiple languages and offers an audio guide for visitors to explore the outstanding Roman pieces on display.
As a student of Roman history I really wanted to see Tarragona and this museum’s artifacts - it was a temporary exhibit but it was well thought out, well priced, had English descriptions, and a lot of good stuff on display. I loved the mosaics and statue busts, and you can get very close to all of it to appreciate the work of these anonymous craftsmen from 2000 years ago. Didn’t feel like I ‘missed out’ by not being able to see the permanent museum.
Jenny W — Google review
Great museum, the early Roman history of Tarragona is told very well with large panels (English available), photos and artefacts from the area. You get a great overview in 30-60min. Entrance is €4, it was free on the Sunday I went.
Rupert K — Google review
A fine selection of artifacts with useful multilingual information. The only downside is that this is a temporary installation while the museum is being refurbished. A little out of the way.
Martin H — Google review
The museum building might be closed but don't miss this exhibit. Outstanding Roman era pieces. Audio guide.
Aldo S — Google review
Currently a temporary exhibition but still worth the visit. Well laid out and clear information in multiple languages.
Gareth J — Google review
Even though this was housed in a temporary location, attention had been given to pieces that allowed you to imagine a moment in history and what the world must have been like. Very cheap entrance and south nice staff available to answer any questions. We visited midweek in September so didn't have to book in advance or wait in line to get in.
Evie T — Google review
Very interesting. Information boards in exhibits. The combination ticket includes entrance here and the necropolis.
Julie M — Google review
This is just a temporary museum while the original is being renovated so it's a little sparse but it does give you an insight into the history of the city.

Historical landmark
Located on the Costa Daurada in Spain, Platja Llarga is one of Tarragona's prized possessions, offering a plethora of stunning sandy beaches within 30 minutes from the city center. This includes the beloved Long Beach, stretching 675 meters with soft sand perfect for swimming. The beach boasts beach bars serving refreshing drinks and swaying palm trees creating a tropical ambiance. It is less crowded than the main beaches of Salou, providing a more serene experience.
We have travelled to many European beaches over the years, but this one is my all time favourite. You're a good 2 miles or so away from the main beaches of Salou, which keeps the number of people down to a much nicer amount. We spent 4 days in total on this beach and it never once felt too overcrowded. There are sunbeds and umbrellas available, not cheap though at €25 for 2 beds and an umbrella, but if you're there all day I think it's worth it, just! There are only around 60 or so available and on most occasions people had to be turned away as they were all in use. My advice is get there just before 10am when the beds are being put out if you want to make sure you get some. The sand is some of the softest amd finest I've ever seen, no rocks, no stones, a few small shells, but you can easily walk barefoot and not worry about any issues. The sea is absolutely perfect! Calm, with a few small waves, so great for young children. Gentle slope as you go in, and just perfect temperature wise, with it feeling refreshing when you first go in and then becoming very comfortable. I would return to Salou purely for this beach, we enjoyed it that much. 🏖 Very highly recommended.
Dave L — Google review
Of the two beaches that Salou has, this is the small beach and lake sandwiched between rocks and vegetation. Pima beach with sufficient facilities such as beds and umbrellas if you want to rent them. You have a little less boulevard like at the big beach but that also gives a little more peace
Martijn H — Google review
The beach itself is 5 stars. But to get to it, there is quite a decline, which is ok going down, but a bit of a trek back in 33 heat. But it is still our favourite. 2 sun loungers with umbrella 25 euros. The waves are awesome. There is also a lovely bar/cafe to get refreshments.
Joanne M — Google review
A good safe swimming beach, which is lifeguard attended in season. W/C and a small bar at the back of the beach. Sunbeds and parasols for hire if you're into that sort of thing (June onwards) Quieter than the llevant and ponent beaches of salou, and picturesque from afar- I've a concern for litter in high season even though plenty bins provided 🤔
Andrew C — Google review
😍😍😍Beautiful beach with proper sand!!! (Unlike the beach in Lloret de Mar☹️😞😔) The shoreline is a nice gentle gradient into the sea which makes the water warmer and the waves much easier to deal with. I will most definitely recommend a visit here it is just stunning. !!You do not need footwear here to walk on the sand!!

Under the guidance of a skilled instructor, you'll navigate through stunning canyons and enjoy refreshing swims in picturesque rock pools. It's an ideal outing for families with older kids looking to explore nature's beauty while having fun.
Amazing scenery, beautiful vistas and an allround really fun experience. If you’re looking for something different to do then this is your place to be! Nikki was an enthusiastic and friendly guide, who gives clear instructions and doesn’t push anyone into doing things they don’t want to do. She also gave us lots of tips and information about other activitities and places to visit around Salou, which was super helpful! Thank you!

What a great experience. Nikki our guide is a shining, dynamic, kind and surprising person! She picked us at our place and the adventure started. The journey to the canyon gaves us many beautiful panoramas of the natural reserve and the mountains. Once arrived at destination in the canyon, we enjoyed the crystal clear water like in the movies (drinkable by the way). We saw fishes, waterfalls, rocks, plants and much more! Nikki helped us to be confident in some jumps without forcing. There is always a workaroud. The cherry on the top is that Nikki took videos and photos and sent them through whatsapp without extra charging. Finally, regarding the level of difficulty, you have to be a minimum sportif. You have to walk about 3km but it definitely worths the price of the effort. Thanks again to the team!

Amazing beach, nudist's and clothed people co-exist peacefully. My wife wanted to be fully clothed, my self wanted be nude. Nobody batted an eye. If this is your first nudist beach I highly recommend.
Kutay K — Google review
I have visited many beaches in the EU and this is by far one of my favorites for a few reasons: 1) Savinosa is a Blue flag beach(look up what a Blue flag beach is). It's a rating given to beaches with certain water quality and facility standards. The sand is also cleaned daily. Something I noticed in other Spanish beaches are cigarette butts on the sand. I saw one on the sand here, but overall very clean and soft sand. No chair rental, but there is a cafe, restroom and showers. Bring your own umbrella. There is a free parking lot close by. NO dogs allowed. 2) very relaxed atmosphere. Kid friendly. I saw many children present. Note that this is a clothing optional beach, so nudity (topless and full nude) is present. But, clothed or not, nobody cares! This is one thing I love about European culture. The human body is the human body. Nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. We arrived in our birthday suit, leaving in it too :) If you are a prude, this beach is not for you (I guess no European beach would suit if topless women also bother you). 3) the waves break a bit further out, so there is a shallower area close to the shore that is ideal of kids or anyone just wanting to wade knee deep. Do note that the beach is in a cove with steep rocks on either end of the beach. Do not swim on either end as the current can be dangerous. Just use common sense. Someone had to be rescued while I was there. If you stay in the middle part of the beach, no issues. Water temp in early October was still tolerable. Enjoy! Will be back! Bookmarked as one of my favorites.
LJ — Google review
It is a very nice, small beach just outside the city, reachable with the bus lines 11, 12 and 13 (one way 1.50 Euro). It has wonderful water and soft, fine sand, a nice beach bar, toilets and showers. One half of the beach is for nudists. In the upper corner are the gays and some voyeurs as everywhere, the rest is local people just enjoying the beautiful small beach.
Joinlo B — Google review
Very clean, close to our hotel, lots of space, no dogs. Worth going back to.
BC — Google review
I was surprised the beach got such high ratings. There are buildings in the background and the train rattles through noisily every 20 minutes. you have to walk into the sea quite a while to be able to swim, it's shallow. the ground is very hard, bring a thick towel. the day I visited, a large section was cordoned off w yellow n red floaters bc it is dangerous to swim there. there are much better beaches further east, like Mora n Tamariu that dont have the urban feel
Margherita P — Google review
The beach is great, water is clear and crispy. You have to be ready to accept nude people in the one side of a beach. But the nature and sand is great, there is a free toilet there and showers.

Arrived last night to have a little gamble and on arrival pulled up outside in my car I was approached straight away by a gentleman telling me it was valley parking and he would park my car for tips on my return. I thought this was the norm so I let him. He got in my car and had difficulty as it is an English car - right hand drive. As he went to park on the side of the casino he tried to squeeze past some cones and hit the kerb scrapping my alloys to which he really badly damaged!! I told him to get out of my car!!! I told him I will park it myself. He got out and all I got was a sorry? No mention of compassion!! My car is a bmw x4 and there wasn’t a mark on the alloys. So be very cautious when visiting this casino and obviously ruined the mood of the night

Beach
Platja del Miracle is conveniently located just a short walk from various attractions, including the observation deck of Balco del Mediterrani and Casa Museu Castellarnau. The beach itself is situated at the foot of cliffs and offers a long stretch of golden sand with a promenade on the east side. Despite being close to bars, restaurants, and nightclubs, it's surprisingly not very busy. Visitors can enjoy the clean and clear waters while being supervised by lifeguards.
Beautiful FREE clean beaches with clear water. It has areas to shower off and wash off your sandy feet.

A beautiful city beach with lovely sand and gently sloping gradient into the sea. You could walk really quite a long way out and still touch the bottom. The water was very clean and clear and beach was well looked after. Parking was €3 for the 90 minutes we stayed.

Our favorite beach in Tarragona — especially outside the tourist season, when it feels almost private. The calm sea, soft sand, and peaceful atmosphere make it the perfect place to unwind. When I meditate, I picture this beach, with its calming waves and passing boats on the horizon, to clear my mind.

Was there for a day trip from Barcelona on a Sunday. I thought it was nice. Great sandy beach. Bring your own umbrella though no shaded area. And surprisingly not very busy. Showers don’t work due to drought. Great if you want to go for a quick dip before getting on the train to go back to Barcelona. Much cleaner than barcolenetta beaches.
Traveller R — Google review
It’s like a normal beach and it looks safe. Unfortunately I did not see any water tap or toilet to clean your self and remove the sand after the beach.
Mamadou D — Google review
Beautiful and quite beach with showers available.
Indre R — Google review
Per se a nice sand beach, however, there is zero shade and no umbrellas to rent. To top it off, the beach was closed (red flag) due to marine pollution the day we were there - that's a red flag, literally. We'll be back another day and see what it's like then. Good to know: announcements are made in Spanish and English.

A quiet beach, is not crowded, close to the train station
