Californian restaurant
Lulu California Bistro is a popular dining spot in Palm Springs, known for its vast and diverse menu of American cuisine served all day. The restaurant has received accolades such as being voted Best of in various categories by Desert Magazine readers and recognized as one of the Top 100 Dining Hot Spots by OpenTable. With a modern setting and outdoor seating, Lulu offers a lively atmosphere for breakfast, lunch, Sunday brunch, or dinner, along with a 12-hour Happy Hour.
Fun, bright, and full of positive vibes! Gilbert was our server and he did such a great job! He made us feel right at home and gave great suggestions. Food was also very good and was a good amount. My friend who used to live in the South got the fried chicken and LOVED it. I got the prime rib and thought it was so good, also way larger of a piece than I thought I was getting. Drinks were smooth and dangerous (in the best way) ended the night with the cotton candy and it was an experience!! Loved every second of it! Also highly recommend if you're gluten free, hostess asked up front if there were dietary restrictions, helped me feel more comfortable with my options.

Lulu’s California Bistro in Palm Springs is a fun, lively spot with a cool, modern atmosphere — perfect for brunch or dinner, especially on a hot day. We went on a Sunday when it was over 100°F, and the outdoor patio had misting sprinklers going, which made it surprisingly comfortable. The food was very good — fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The service was friendly but a bit on the slower side, though that’s understandable given how busy it was. It’s a popular place, so I’d definitely recommend making reservations in advance to avoid a long wait. Overall, a great spot to enjoy good food and people-watch in downtown Palm Springs. Will definitely be back!
Cindy A — Google review
Really fun place to grab a meal. The food was good, but nothing amazing. The drinks went down easy, and I would have had another if the server would make a stop at our table. There was a good 15-20 minutes where we didn't see any staff in the restaurant. They did seem short staffed so that may have been the issue. Worth a try and the food was good enough to return. If the service stays at that level, they'll have a hard time getting repeat customers.
Mike W — Google review
What a fun experience. We were there off-season but it was still busy with only two waiters for quite a few tables there for lunch. Alfonso improved the overall experience because of his liveliness and great personality. He really made it fun. The food was ok and the french fries were good with a nice presentation. The salad was huge. Overall, a lovely and fun lunch.

We stopped by this cute restaurant in Palm Springs. The place is pretty spacious with lots of seating and lovely décor. The staff at the counter didn’t seem too interested, but our server was really nice — super attentive and cheerful! The food was just okay, maybe because we didn’t go for their recommended dishes. Still, it was a cozy spot to take a break and enjoy the vibe.
Porlu — Google review
Just to start, I am a self proclaimed culinary legend. Food was good. Just good. Not surprising. The pasta portion was dismal, and the appetizer was just ok. The fish and chips and salmon on the other hand were excellent with satisfying portions. I love their decor, and the service was outstanding. I really enjoyed it, I just felt bad for my dad who finished his wartime ration of pasta 10 minutes before the rest of us.
Tc1243 — Google review
We have been coming here once a week consistently over the last couple of months and love the lunch special. Soup, Salad & Martini! Kenny at the bar always has fantastic service and makes our day!
Shawna N — Google review
Despite being touristy, everything about this place soars. From quality of food, to service, to ambience. Whether you're inside (preference to the high top booths) or on the patio for people and car watching, it's a great place to be. The food is prepared fresh and tasty with the highest quality. Values on weekend brunch and other prix fair meals are great. Highly recommended for the whole family, regardless of what makes up your family.

Deli

Bakery
Sherman's Deli & Bakery is a NYC-style deli that offers kosher fare from morning to night. The old-school, spacious dining room features retro decor and pictures of celebrities who have dined there, while the airy patio provides a view of the mountains and tall palm trees. The place is known for its delicious sandwiches and breakfast options, as well as its tempting pastries and cakes on display.
Sherman’s is a true Palm Springs gem. I came for the famous pastrami sandwich and wow—absolutely incredible. Juicy, smoky, stacked sky-high, and perfectly balanced with fresh toppings. Easily one of the best deli sandwiches I’ve ever had. The vibe is classic old-school deli, full of character and warmth. The service was friendly and efficient—even with a packed house, the staff were attentive and kind. And don’t even get me started on the dessert display… a full-on paradise for sweet tooths. From chocolate eclairs to fruit tarts to giant layered cakes, everything looked like it came from a vintage New York bakery window. I had to stop myself from buying a dozen pastries to go. Whether you're here for lunch or just dropping by for a slice of cake and coffee, this place hits all the right notes. A must-visit in Palm Springs!
Mohammad A — Google review
My wife and I made Sherman's Deli and Bakery our first stop in Palm Springs after seeing it recommended everywhere and it absolutely lived up to the hype. When you walk in you are greeted with a huge display of bakery treats, pies, cakes and pastries that all look incredible. My wife grabbed a slice of banana cream pie and a slice of custard pie and loved both so much she finished them before I could even get a picture. She said the flavor was phenomenal and I trust her review completely. For lunch I ordered the hot pastrami New York style sandwich and it was a showstopper. The sandwich was piled so high with pastrami I could barely fit a bite but the flavor was spot on, juicy and rich without being overwhelming. The pickle on the side gave the perfect crunch and the fries were crispy and well seasoned. I used their Beaver’s deli mustard on both the fries and the sandwich and it tied everything together perfectly. The only tweak I would make is to have the bread toasted for a little extra crunch but even without that it was an easy eight or nine out of ten. My wife ordered the Sherman's traditional Cobb salad with chicken and enjoyed it as well. It was a big portion with fresh ingredients and plenty of flavor, nothing over the top but a solid and satisfying salad. Service was excellent. Our waitress was genuinely kind and attentive which made the whole experience even better. Sherman's is a great spot for lunch or a hearty brunch and an ideal way to start a day in Palm Springs.

Phenomenal! I went 2 days in a row. Breakfast once, then lunch. I almost went 3 times, but wanted to try other spots. Roast beef, corned beef, pickles, latkes, pretty much everything! This place is next level. The photos around Sherman's are so cool. It's preserved for the "Palm Springs" era, but still modern and nicely kept. Mitch the waiter is a boss! Very cool guy! It's worth going just to see Mitch! The only downside is the coffee is miserable. The Bloody Mary is ok, but not much flavor. Also they have gluten free bread. Top of the line! I love this place. Way to go Sherman's!

Always a busy spot but service moves pretty fast. A staple diner in Downtown Palm Springs that serves sandwiches and specializes in cakes. This place has that classic diner vibe with service to match — friendly and quick. I ended up getting the French Dip and it was exactly what I needed. Warm broth to dip in and filled with meat! Overall, great local spot and popular for a reason.

Historic Palm Springs Restaurant . Since 1958 Great Customer Service and Incredible tasty selection s . The Fried Chicken Special is Amazing ! Half a Chicken with soup or salad and mashed potatoes with gravy . Soo Very Good. The Sandwiches are also Amazing ! Love this restaurant . High Quality Ingredients make for some very satisfying meals .

There’s a reason this place has thousands of positive reviews! Classic NY/Jewish deli! So many nostalgic foods on the menu - matzo ball soup, latkes, blintzes, lox, gefilte fish! Massive deli sandwiches. Food was great. Service was good even though they were super busy, and there wasn’t much of a wait (maybe 5-10 minutes). The cake and pastry case is massive. Good cakes and pastries, plus Jewish classics like B&W cookies, hamentashen, rugelach.
Olivia H — Google review
My first time going to Sherman's and it will not be my last. The meat in the sandwiches were amazing and so fresh. The portions are huge so you could definitely share.
Joy W — Google review
In Palm Springs looking for good grub, look no further. Sherman's is one of my favorite spots. It's an old school New York style deli that opened in 1963. Everything is delicious, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is a bakery on the premises serving more deliciousness. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. This location gets busy on the weekends, but the service is always friendly. It's definitely worth the wait and definitely worth a visit. Try the pastrami sandwich, one of my favorites. I'll see you there, bon appetite!

Elmer's Restaurant in Palm Springs, CA is a classic diner-style eatery known for serving up generous portions of comforting breakfast dishes and other homestyle favorites. The menu features a wide variety of options including signature German pancakes, Belgian waffles, crepes, and hazelnut French toast. In addition to breakfast fare, Elmer's offers omelets, eggs benedict, platters, scrambles, pork chops and chicken-fried steak.
Had a lovely brunch at Elmer’s with my sisters! The service was excellent—very attentive and warm. Our food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and very family-friendly, with lots of smiles and good energy all around. A great spot for a relaxed and satisfying meal. We'll definitely be back!

An old fashioned place with a solid 60-year history. The Baby Dutch Pancake alone worth the price of admission ($2 extra gets you two eggs any way you like them and ham or bacon or sausage. The family-founded company prides itself rightfully on using phenomenal vendors in the northwest. A rustic atmosphere, conveniently located. The service is spotty but the prices are practical.

Elmer’s in Palm Springs is a hidden gem that feels like a warm hug and a hearty meal rolled into one. I came in for a quick bite and ended up discovering one of the best comfort dishes I’ve had in a long time — the Chicken Fried Steak Bowl. Perfectly crispy, tender steak, smothered in rich country gravy, laid over a bed of fluffy mashed potatoes and veggies — it’s the kind of dish that makes you close your eyes after the first bite. Pure comfort food bliss. Portions are generous, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere has that classic diner charm that just makes you want to stay a while. If you’re in Palm Springs and want something satisfying and soulful, don’t miss the Chicken Fried Steak Bowl at Elmer’s. Trust me, it hits the spot!

A Classic Gem! Elmer’s is such a great spot for breakfast and lunch! The place gives off that cozy, vintage diner vibe that instantly feels welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious – hearty, flavorful, and the portion sizes are generous. You definitely won’t leave hungry! The service also stands out – the waiters are incredibly patient, friendly, and make sure you’re well taken care of. Their customer service is top-notch, which really adds to the whole experience. If you’re looking for a place with great food, nostalgic charm, and outstanding service, Elmer’s is a must-try!😋

Stopped by this place on Labor Day looking for breakfast on the drive home from the weekend. Absolutely loved it! Stuffed hash browns were great, and it's unique to find a place with German pancakes which is a favorite of my wife's. Also family friendly and kids loved the chocolate chip pancakes.
Stanley F — Google review
The food was amazing, I had the triple berry crepe and it was sooo good!! The condensed milk tasted like cheesecake and the fruit was perfect!! The whipped cream tasted very fresh and in general super good! I thought I was going to fall asleep mid way through my meal lol! Our waitress was super nice and gave my family extra fries!! The atmosphere is super beautiful it reminded a lot of the Tuscan style from the 2000s and our seats were super comfortable. 10/10 restaurant definitely recommend especially if you are visiting from the Bay Area because it’s very good and the menu had lots of options!
Sam — Google review
Want to have breakfast any time of the day? Had to Elmer's. An iconic place in PS for a long time. Nice people. Service was good and can get busy. There are other dishes besides breakfast and I am sure there is something for everyone. Wanted to try the famous German pancake. There are three to choose from. Not your traditional pancake batter either. Can only describe as a Yorkshire pudding of sorts. It is good. Give them a shot.
Happy L — Google review
We loved our breakfast at Elmer’s in Palm Springs! The German pancake was light and delicious, and the breakfast was hearty with perfectly cooked eggs, tasty chicken sausage, and a homemade biscuit. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere made it a great start to our day. Highly recommend!

Mexican restaurant
Las Casuelas Terraza is a family-owned Mexican restaurant with an American twist, offering delicious food and amazing margaritas. The restaurant has two terraces - one for a romantic dining experience and the other for dancing to live music at the outdoor bar. Established in 1979, this location is housed in a historic casita dating back to the 1920s.
Amazing, food is so good. Nachos the best I have ever had, highly recommend. Sitting next to the warm fireplace, so comfortable and relaxing. Large portions, can take some home to enjoy. The ambience of high ceilings and artwork very entertaining to look at. Thank You Team Las Casuelas Terraza :)
Chaffee C — Google review
We have been wanting to try this place for years! We’ve been wanting to try Cazuelas Terraza in Palm Springs for years—every time we’d pass by, there were crowds and live music, so we figured the food must be good. We finally went on Sunday night, and honestly, it was one of the worst dining mistakes we’ve made. I’ll give credit where it’s due: the restaurant has a nice aesthetic. If you’re looking for atmosphere and maybe an overpriced drink, it might be worth it. But food-wise? Absolutely not. Out of the 8 people in our group, not one of us finished our meal—the food was that bad. The flavors were either bland or just off, and to make matters worse, our waitress even admitted, “we really aren’t that Mexican of a restaurant.” The service wasn’t great either, which added to the disappointment. At best, this is a place to sit outside, listen to the live music, and maybe snack on chips and salsa. But if you’re actually looking for a good meal, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. We left super disappointed.
Nancy Z — Google review
It was a stunning day to sit outside having lunch we ordered fajitas and the basic combo plate. Prices were fairly reasonable for this Day and age. The waitress was less than attentive had to ask for a refill and then again for water. I figured maybe they were just conserving g it or something? ONE never knows right? So the plates arrived piping hot, the food was beautiful and presented rather nicely. There was plenty of food for leftovers the next day. My disappointment began with the waitress getting attitude when I told her I had been given a ground beef taco instead of shredded. She brought a new shresdded beef taco but when i put some of their wonderful salsa on it i noticed it hadnt chamged it still had some kind of fibrous meat. It xoulfmt be real meat so i thought maybe vegetarian? No i was corrected its supposed to be some kind of beef? Petri dish or lab grown im not sure. Ive been around a long time and ive cooked a lot of mexican food, my fave! So she retreated inside im not sure what happened to her , other staff said she wasn't on any break. We couldn't get one last refill she was talking kicked back with the cook? The meal looked fabulous melted cheese all around looked so yummy. But these tacos ill never order again, the cheese enchilada left much to be desired as good as it looked the thick tortilla was hardly cooked and it was hard, and tough to eat too. The Chile relleno is what I had hoped would save the meal. But it sadly didn't do the trick I couldn't find the chile inside of it? Wth? Guacamole we ordered the chunky style, it was fresh and it was real avocado. I could tell that much lol It was great along with their salsa maybe the best around but we waited so long for the waitress but it was too late for them by the time we found her inside chatting. Nevertheless the food has great potential, but just like our govt needed a new president to get things right, this Casuelas in downtown Palm Springs, could use a new more mindful cook. Just a few tweaks and our $70.00 lunch no drinks would have been amazing. I guess anymore they expect us to eat just any old thing. I'm really sorry to say that! I really had my hopes up for finding some if not the best authentic and real meat, Mexican food in this Coachella valley. I'll stay home and make a sandwich next at-home. Save my money, hopes, and disappointments for some other time..

Went here on a Thursday night and was seated within 15 minutes. The food was good, the seating was perfect for watching the passersby from the weekly village fest. I'd recommend this place.
Ger F — Google review
We had the Su Seleciones with the combination of 2 dishes for 20 USD and the portion was huge! Too big for 1 person to finish. I recommend to take 1 plate with 3 different dishes for 2 people to finish. Tortilla chips were free and unlimited with salsa which was nice. Our service guy (Hugo) made sure we always had tortilla chips with salsa and water. Perfect service from him. The restaurant is huge. Many seating areas. At first we were seated next to the service station where they refill water and clean the dishes. This was outside but not quiet and relaxing. Then we were seated outside in the area where the band played. It was nicer but too loud if you want to relax.
Mawi — Google review
The place has good vibes, good people watching. Portions are big,my wife and I usually split it. Fun to come on Thursday night, enjoy a little food and drink, then go walk the market night.

This is a great spot in downtown Palm Springs. The decor'/ setting adds to atmosphere. Customer service was excellent, our waiter William was attentive and had a fun personality. American restaurant
Cheeky's Palm Springs is a modern eatery known for its creative breakfast and lunch sandwiches, bacon flights, and specialty cinnamon rolls. The restaurant is part of the vibrant dining scene in Palm Springs, offering a variety of culinary experiences. From swanky steakhouses to casual spots with comfortable patios, there's something for every palate.
Nice place. Mostly outdoor seating with some indoor seating. Place gets pretty crowded, which means it’s really popular. So you must get there early so you don’t have to wait online to get in. A bit on the pricey side for breakfast. Party of three with one meal each, copy your tea, each and one cinnamon roll and a side of turkey bacon, $100 bucks including tip. The food was tasty, but nothing to really write home about. Service was very good, atmosphere, open air outdoor seating was great for an early morning meal. Although, seating can get very crowded with minimal spacing between chairs. All in all, it’s worth a try at least once, so that you can make up your own mind about the place.
MOPt — Google review
Amazing place to get breakfast. We were expecting a wait but alas, we were seated right away. That was a good sign of things to come. I had the breakfast quesadilla and my friend had the buttermilk and corn pancakes. Both excellent choices but I suspect the whole menu is delicious. They have flight of bacon! I feel obliged to get them and had not regrets. The fresh orange juice was also a great choice. Service was friendly, the atmosphere jovial and the music at a volume that did not hinder our conversation. I'm ready to go back on my next visit.
Pablo Z — Google review
What a painfully average experience! I came today, sat, waited about 10 minutes for water, another 10 for a menu, and another 20 to get an order in. It wasn’t busy. There were empty tables the entire time. When I did get service, it was an extremely underwhelming experience, even an awkward exchange one could argue. No smiles on the servers faces. The flies are bad outside, same with the leaf drop, the heat doesn’t help either, there were no indoor seats but we wanted to try cheeky’s cuisine nonetheless and unfortunately the service did not make up for these minor environmental outdoor dining factors. The food, was not bad, was just nothing special whatsoever. Nothing struck me, nothing had crazy flavors, nothing was truly appropriately priced based on portion, nothing was plated pretty. Our server mentioned that one component of the dish we had ordered, was out of stock after we had ordered it..however he didn’t offer any substitutions, and when we did ask for a substitution, his suggestion was totally outlandish and strange. Feta on a Mexican dish suggestion..hmm. Good luck Cheeky’s.
McKenzie H — Google review
Had breakfast here with a large group and it was good but nothing profoundly great. I ordered the bacon flight and it was okay. It was just bacon covered or dipped in different seasonings / toppings. The fruit plate was nice though ! I would highly recommend that the restaurant consider investing in fly fans for their tables. We noticed another table over had a fly fan for their table and we asked if they had more, but ends up they had brought their own … the flies were a bit annoying if you’re sitting outside.
Kelly S — Google review
My favorite restaurant in Palm Springs! We went with a big group and the service was excellent. Fast, friendly and super attentive. The food was amazing, I honestly can't wait to go back to try more dishes. We had a few people with gluten allergies and our server was quick to accommodate everyone. The cocktails were by far the best we had all weekend. Overall, such a great experience from start to finish!
Júlia P — Google review
Upon walking in, we were told to see ourselves. I told would be brought my ears. The waitress eventually got back to us, realizing that there was no menus and we had not had our order taken for beverages or food or anything. This is after approximately 15 minutes. The restaurant was not busy. We very awkwardly switched service because she forgot about us and that was kind of the vibe the rest of the time. The food was pretty good. Wasn’t the best. My girlfriend says it was average and nothing to write home about so we’re gonna add that. My Son Kept having leaves fall in his food. And there was a lot of flies. Low energy energy
RyderzontheStorm — Google review
Ordered the Huevos Rancheros with the eggs cooked medium over and they stuffed up the order and made them severely runny and under cooked. Asked them to fix it and they brought a plate back freshly made but with the eggs STILL UNDERCOOKED AND RUNNY! Amazing servers but I think the kitchen was either ignoring the request or just didn’t care. The drinks were good and great staff service, but the kitchen on the other hand…
Ryan S — Google review
Seated quickly, but only to be met with a constant fight with flies. I was accosted by flies the entire meal. And what a shame because the outdoor sesting is so inviting. Ordered a mimosa and it was so disappointing. Super tiny and it was just barely ok. Food was meh. I had to send the bacon back to be cooked more and the buttermilk and corn pancakes couldn't be more icky. They do mean corn. Like actual corn kernels. The server was so blase throughout our entire visit...not friendly at all. Not sure how this restaurant could be considered as having a jovial and friendly staff. I wouldn't ever visit again.

Blue Coyote Grill, located on Palm Canyon Drive in downtown Palm Springs, has been a popular spot since 1992. The restaurant offers a variety of Southwestern favorites with a Southern California twist and is known for its expansive outdoor seating area surrounded by lush greenery and tranquil water features.
We love the Blue Coyote! Delicious food & margaritas! Service is great. We always try to sit on the beautiful patio even in hot weather when the misters are all going.

Always drove by and today decided to stop in. They have a couple of big outdoor patios and fountain. We brought out dog so it was perfect sitting outside. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The jalapeno poppers were amazing. The ribs were a generous portion with smokey taste and the chipotle mashed potatoes were heavenly. The chicken burrito did not disappoint with the green chili salsa. Nice size especially with the black beans and rice. Ordered a side of the spicy red salsa that had a wonderful kick of heat. Also love that chips were warm and served with a delicious salsa. The salsa is mild but lots of flavor. Our friendly waitress, Alma, was very helpful with recommendations and the hostess was friendly and thoughtful bringing our pup some water. Excellent service, good, outdoor ambiance.

Family-owned, the only one like it ✨Incredible salsa, super fresh with a kick! ✨Authentic Mexican food, big portions ✨Great vibes… ✨Service was 10/10, absolutely loved the staff ✨Pups welcome on the patio and plenty of parking out back ✨Sprint here for a reasonable bill and a very lovely experience! 💙💙💙

Highly recommended. We were disappointed. Ordered a grilled seafood salad and fajitas. The seafood on the salad was beautiful, but all of the seafood was cold! Fajitas were average. Our server was sullen, sad and less than personable. We routinely tip in the 25% plus range, but the service was so disagreeable that we left a very small tip. We feel a bit bad about that, as we know the tips are for the entire crew. It was probably a bad night for our server, but on a special dinner for us, it was really a letdown!

Pretty darn good food here. Had the chili verde plate with black beans and flour tortillas. The cumbia music and ambiance were great 👍🏼. Took a star off customer service as I stood at the front check in for 8-9 minutes while employees passed and didn’t assist. Again at the end of the meal, the waitress disappeared for ten minutes and couldn’t be found to pay.

Everything about this gem is just as good (if not better) as it was the first time we discovered it way back in ‘95. Best margaritas hands down in the desert (thank you Ilda!), and we’ve never in all these years that wasn’t thoughtfully presented and absolutely delicious. There’s a warmth to the service here you don’t find at every restaurant in Palm Springs. Norma took the best care of us with her welcoming hospitality, kindness, and attentive service. We were so impressed, we felt compelled to compliment the manager and was introduced to the owner, Shaynee (sp). One chat with her and it’s instantly clear the welcoming warmth starts at the top. Thank you for so many years of wonderful food and memories! (Another special thank you to Joanna - her smile lit up the dining room!)

We had a great time here at the Blue Coyote. I had the Sangria and the Pollo Cilantro...excellent. My partner had a CDMX beer by Coaxhella Valley and the Molcajete... also Excellent! The servings are generous, we have leftovers for dinner tomorrow 😋. Recommend!

Palm Greens Cafe is a breezy eatery offering a thoughtfully curated menu of health-conscious global dishes and breakfast options. While not entirely vegetarian or vegan, it's a popular spot known for its extensive menu and great food, frequented by celebrities like Suzanne Somers. The restaurant excels in the morning with comfort food choices such as French toast, breakfast tacos, and biscuits and gravy.
So happy to find another great lunch spot in Palm Springs! Plenty of plant-based/vegan options here! Food was fresh and delicious. I had a vegan gluten-free Caesar Salad and a Mushroom Patty Melt. So satisfying! Service was excellent and the vibe is casual and relaxing.

Good food and nice vegan selection. Service was quick as well and the portion size was decent. Glad that they have a vegan date shake. That’s said, the staff can be a bit polite, humble, and attentive. When we asked for the table, we were asked several times if everyone was here. It’s fine to ask, but an interrogative style is not needed. They messed up with our order (eventually fixed), but there was no acknowledgment of the miss. The food is pricey, like $ 7 USD for a tofu ads-on. And the 20% tip was self-applied (we would have tipped the same or more, but nowhere did we read that for a party of 5, there is a 20% service charge).
N N — Google review
We needed an early lunch for the road, so got take out here. I ordered the lasagna and it was not good at all in my opinion. First, it looked gray and flat. I promise I took that picture in the sun and tried to make it look as good as possible. Second, it was small, especially for $20: there were only two layers of pasta, so it wasn't thick, and it wasn't that large a slice. Third, it tasted about as good as it looked. (I didn't realize it was gluten free, but that's probably why the pasta was especially disappointing.) I will say the biscuits and gravy were redeeming (despite being not a great take-out food). The root vegetable hash tofu scramble was bland: I suspect the tofu was flavored only with a bit of turmeric and salt, perhaps. We added two packets of cholula and then added salsa to give it some flavor.
Jacob P — Google review
Tried this restaurant a few weeks back because they have some vegan options. My husband got the açaí bowl. He enjoyed it. We really went because I saw they had vegan biscuits and gravy. When the server bought it to the table I was hesitant because of how it looked. I was pleasantly surprised on how good it was. It wasn’t really hot though. It was like warm, almost cold. I didn’t finish it because of that and really didn’t want to send it back. Had it been hot I would have really enjoyed it.

highly recommend for my veg friends! lots of vegan/vegetarian options. tried the vegan french toast, tofu scramble, tempeh bacon, vegan sausage patties, and a matcha smoothie and it was all excellent! and the outdoor seating area is adorable.

Being that my husband is a vegan, we rather enjoyed dining at this funky little eatery. It offers healthy, unprocessed options for both of us, and I enjoyed a truly delicious grass-fed burger with a scrumptious broccoli coleslaw. The decor is a somewhat drab interpretation of a vintage Palm Springs mid-century cafe, and the air conditioning is on the swampy side. But the food more than makes up for the decor and dank air! We got the impression that there were more locals than tourists at this spot. I returned another time to order take away and waited and waited and waited some more at the counter to order, with no one in front of me. There was only one waiter serving many tables, so I appreciate that they were probably short staffed that day. I ended up leaving since no one came to take my order. Still, 4 stars for a terrific menu and great food.

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast at the Escena Grille. The food was delicious and plentiful. Our college waiter was very attentive and friendly. He even told us a great deal about the geology of the San Jacinto mountain. Best of all was the view. We had a great corner table that looked out onto the beautifully maintained golf course. Norma's is a stylish and comfortable patio eatery located at the Parker Hotel in Palm Springs. The restaurant offers American breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Some local favorites include Mr. Lyons Steakhouse, Workshop, Melvyns, Birba, mister parkers, Copleys on Palm Canyon, Jakes, Cheekys, Le Vallauris, and Shermans. Norma's features a brightly colored open-air terrace where breakfast is served all day.
Norma’s has been on my radar for years, and I finally made it there the week before Christmas for breakfast. The outdoor space is colorful and charming (aside from the occasional fly), the food was pretty good, and the service was excellent. We had the irresistible flapjacks, huevos rancheros, and the doughnuts. The huevos rancheros looked impressive but lacked flavor, the flapjacks were tasty and huge, and the doughnuts were absolutely wonderful. The prices may seem a bit high, but the portions are large, so order conservatively. Plus, the outdoor setting and service make up for any shortfalls of the food. We also appreciated that the restaurant was dog-friendly and the staff was so nice to our pups. I would definitely go back next time I’m in Palm Springs!

Absolutely top-notch fabulous brunch that is worth every penny. The portions are massive so if you’re with a group, you can do it family style and enjoy a bunch of different things. We had the lemon pancakes and they were divine, I normally don’t order pancakes, but here I definitely would again. We also had the crabcake which was full of crab just the way it should be. The service was off the charts, really some of the best I’ve had and the atmosphere? Well it can’t be beat. It’s the Parker Palm Springs baby and it’s the best!

We had this placed saved for the Palm Springs trip! It was a great idea to come here - We sat outside (it was earlier in the day - so it was still not crazy hot) it was a very calm and relaxing vibes Server: Vanessa - she was incredible 😘🤌🏼 very polite and great demeanor. Drinks off the menu: • the joy at the parker - raspberry infused vodka with grapefruit flavor. That was so good! Worth the try • weekend at the parker - it’s as if an aperol spritz and a margarita had a baby (my friend ordered it and loved it) Based on the recommendation of one of the employees- we decided to try the burgers 🍔 and that an excellent choice! I think i was full for the rest of that day! I added grilled onions and avocado on mine with fries. The burgers are supposedly made in house and the quality is amazing! Cooked medium for a perfect slight redness in the center and the everything else loaded on top with a fresh and soft bun. Super Yum! 😋 Definitely on my top 5 burgers ever… - Everything was incredible. Thank you for great service and even better food! Job well done 😘👌🏼

Located in the Parker Palm Springs hotel, Norma’s is a Palm Springs establishment everyone should visit. If the weather permits, definitely sit outside in their colorful, covered patio. The staff are attentive, friendly, and welcoming who can help decipher the menu. I say decipher in the best way possible because Normas menu is one of the BEST menus I’ve ever seen. The names are clever, the preparations thoughtful, and the presentation’s exceptional. They start you off with the smoothie “shot” of the day, which was strawberry banana and orange juice. We then ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the crab cake “pancakes”. The sandwich was large and the fries FANTASTIC (super crispy yet meaty). The two crab cakes were flattened but large and delicious. They come with an aggressively dressed mixed green salad with white balsamic and a single beer battered onion ring that is filled with a dill tartar sauce/aioli. Highly recommend eating the onion ring first otherwise it gets soggy and if you’re not a heavy-dressed salad person, then ask for lighter dressing or on the side. Otherwise, fantastic and flavorful dish. Order a glass of their rosé and you’ll have it poured out of a double magnum bottle. Or a Diet Coke and you’ll have a personal carafe on the side. Awesome spot. Bring a group so you can try a bunch of different awesome dishes and just have a good time. Can’t wait to come back.

A vibrant gem in Palm Springs I absolutely loved Norma's—what a charming spot to soak in the Spring sun. Native Foods is a popular chain known for its creative, Californian-style vegan cuisine. The first cafe opened in Palm Springs in the early '90s, and now there are locations across the United States. The menu features hearty vegetarian options like burgers, sandwiches, salads, and soups. Dishes include mock-meat items such as Super Italian Meatball Sub made with seitan meatballs and Classic Deli Reuben with homemade sauerkraut and horseradish 'cheese.'
I don’t know how I discovered this gem only yesterday, when I visit Palm Springs every week. How did I miss this wonder for the past 2 decades???? I’m still kicking myself. I loved every bite of the foods we ordered after a long day of shopping around Palm Springs. It was so perfect and hit the spot. The service was also super friendly and welcoming, thank you so much ALBERT for your hospitality and professionalism. Pictures speak for themselves, I’ll post them below, but my favorite things were the Gastropub burger and lavender lemonade. I can’t wait to go back and try a new thing off the menu every week. The only thing I will ask for next time, is to not make the sweet potato fries so crispy. But with is delicious

After touring the western U.S. trying vegan restaurants, we're grateful for having one of the very best right here in the Coachella Valley! The menu is packed with really delicious choices, lovingly prepared and presented on cool dishware. Everything is excellent, but I think the Reuben sandwich is the best I've ever had!

We love this place for vegan food options and we order carry out from here fairly often. We have always got delicious food from here that is always well prepared and well packaged for pickup. We especially love their burgers, and the Rueben sandwich, as well as the salads, Buddha bowl, and buffalo “wings.” All of our non-vegetarian/non-vegan friends love it, too! Prices are reasonable, and they usually have our order ready quickly. I have only one complaint…they are busy and popular (one of the very few vegan places in Palm Springs), so sometimes they run out of our favorite items on the menu. Most of the time, we still order from here even if the menu is limited. We will keep going back!

Great food with many layers of flavor. Friendly staff, a real find. My wife and I came here after attending the village Fest. I'm normally stuffing food under my arms when I have the option to dine at a fair/food truck gathering. Knowing my wife wanted to eat here, I abstained and did not regret it. I say that as a grown man with raccoon DNA. I don't normally walk in the doors of vegan restaurants on my own, but my wife is a member of that tribe and this was high on her list. Definitely worth a visit to anybody that can hold a fork. They won't disappoint.

Native Foods is soo delicious. I crave it! Every time I’m in PS, I order food and it’s always a hit! The cauliflower dippers and Buddha bowl are some of my all time favs, but the ensalada azteca is also delicious. Honestly, everything is good. The Peanut Butter Parfait is the stuff dreams are made of- and I’m not even vegan lol. Their lavender lemonade and watermelon fresca keep me alive during desert trips. So grateful for this spot and the sweet folks who run it!

Nice vibe. Good food. Great happy hour coconut cloud martinis! Could feel those. Nice big patio with live two piece band playing guitar and singing beautiful music. Only thing that could be better would be not having to go up to a counter to order food and first round of drinks. After that you get table service. Friendly staff. Centrally located Would recommend.

The al dente Italian restaurant offers wonderfully flavorful food and a cozy patio in downtown Palm Springs. The menu features pastas, risottos, meats, and fish dishes with decadent desserts to finish. Specialty wines are also available by the glass.

A pretty nice Italian restaurant in downtown Palm Springs, with outdoor misters, a pleasant interior with comfortable booths, and a nice little bar. My friends and I came here when we were hungry for Italian during a recent stay in the Palm Desert. They offer a large variety of sauces that can be applied to spaghetti, rigatoni, tagliatelle, etc. they also have a lot of salads, soups, and meat dishes. I ordered broccoli soup, a burrata salad, and tagliatelle with Pomodoro sauce. Everything was really fresh, though I think the burrata was the highlight for me, with the exceptionally flavorful, purplish tomatoes and the creamy cheese. The soup was all right, though slightly underwhelming, and the pasta, while perfectly cooked, lacked a bit of flavor in the pomodoro. Overall, a pretty good experience, stacking up to ~4.4/5 stars. The service was very attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was pretty good, and the food definitely had some high moments.

We had such a wonderful experience at Al Dente. From the moment we walked in, Noel and the rest of the staff made us feel so welcome and attentive without being overbearing. The food was outstanding. My wife ordered the fish of the day special and loved every bite, while I had the spaghetti bolognese which was perfectly prepared and rich with flavor. The sauces here are truly something special. Prices are very fair, especially in today’s economy, and the ambiance strikes that perfect balance of cozy and lively. The patio is a gem, right in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. We will absolutely be back. This is our new favorite spot in town.

Great staff, makes you feel comfortable and at home. Quick service and checking in to make sure the food and experience is great. Food was delicious, especially the veal Marsala with mushrooms. But not a fan of the pesto with cream. Great outdoor space to sit and people watch.
Keith S — Google review
Update 2: I have pesto sauce now :) yaaay! I think it’s their best sauce. If you like a thicker pesto I recommend scooping from the bottom to get more of the basil and garlic. Previous: I ordered celery soup, pesto, marinara, and 4 cheese sauce. I didn’t receive my pesto sauce—instead I got a different red sauce. The restaurant would not admit to making the mistake themselves even though my bag came tied and with my name and order info listed on it. They insist I get support from Uber Eats but Uber Eats will not take any action or respond either. The hostess could not get the manager to take the phone. No kind of remedy or apology offered to me. I didn’t like the white or red sauces (with the noodles I cooked at home), but the celery soup is nice to sip on. Update: Management called me back. I sent an Uber Courier now to try to pick up pesto sauce. Will update again once I receive it.

Such good classic Italian! Their marina / arrabbiata sauce is a MUST try if you like garlic. I love their tiramisu as well. The staff here are always so warm and treat us with the kindest hospitality. I prefer to sit outside but the inside is very nice as well (maybe slightly more formal inside).

Overall great experience. We had the Caesar salad, burrata, bolognese with meatballs and the Quattro formaggio with shrimp. Great service. One star deduction because the bread was really lackluster for an Italian restaurant. Otherwise, fantastic food.

First time patrons for my birthday Eve Dinner with my husband and a special couple in our neighborhood. Entering from their rear parking area I was a bit concerned, as the entrance is a bit seedy/rundown, but opening the inside door exposed an elegant, intimate and very soothing atmosphere. The service was warm, attentive and expertly stealth. Well made cocktails, homemade bread with olive oil, balsamic, and refreshing tomato bruschetta to top the bread...and then the entrees! We each chose different menu items, mine being veal Marsala with a side of perfect oil, butter and parsley spaghetti. The Marsala sauce was superb...meaty mushroom slices in that rich wine gravy made with a splash of cognac. Everyone loved their meals (how often does that happen). They heard that it was my birthday and finished the meal with surprise desert of a frozen lemon Gelato ball with a candle! PERFECT EVENING!

Steak house
American restaurant
Mr. Lyons Steakhouse is an upscale, retro-style restaurant that has been a prominent fixture since the 1940s and underwent a major renovation in 2015. The steakhouse offers multiple dining rooms, a lounge/bar area, a wrap-around patio, and private dining space. It's known for its swanky ambiance, great service, and high-quality ingredients.
We went very early for happy hour so that we insured we had a table for our group. The happy hour is fun, it’s pricey and there’s not much selection but what they do have there is delicious and the setting is so luxurious and fun. Our friends who arrived later had trouble getting in and getting a table and we’re put on a pretty long waitlist. There is a side bar called Seymour’s behind a curtain that was available to be seated in. That’s an equally beautiful space within this restaurant. It looks like there are multiple spaces to get your Palm Springs luxury on.
Heather A — Google review
You never want to leave a steakhouse feeling underwhelmed. Here’s a quick recap: We arrived 15 minutes early and found valet parking available. The atmosphere was swanky, but the ongoing wedding created a loud vibe that didn’t suit the steakhouse atmosphere and created a lot of in and out foot traffic. Although we had a reservation, they prioritized a couple for immediate seating, which was frustrating. None the less we were finally seated at, exactly 9 PM. Once at our corner booth, a thoughtful gesture was the staff pulling the table out for easy access. After that, we waited too long for our waiter to take our order, but eventually, we got to discuss the menu and ordered drinks and appetizers. Our appetizers—creamed corn and whipped potatoes—disappointed, corn undercooked and potatoes not whipped and cold. However, the caviar and bone marrow were exceptional. For dinner, we ordered the steak special, a veggie wellington, and a beef wellington. Here’s where it got messy: the kitchen delivered our meals without clearing the starters first, creating chaos with dirty plates and no new silverware. Despite this, the food was fantastic. The steak was perfectly cooked, and the Wellington was delicious, though on the veggie wellington we'd prefer beet greens over chard for a sweeter flavor inside that devine crust. Afterward, they boxed our leftovers quickly, but it would have been better to receive them with the check, due to the table size and still ordering dinner. For dessert, we had date pudding and a frozen Meyer lemon dessert, both outstanding and a perfect end to the meal, especially with the desert wines. The elegant experience we had upon arrival was lost as we had to move our own table to leave, complete oversight by the management team. Overall, I’d rate this a solid 4 stars. While there were a few issues, the experience often hit the mark, leaving me curious to try another Palm Springs location or just maybe Mr. Lyons can nail it?

A classic Steakhouse, excellent and menu educated servers set up a wonderful dinner. The food was served quickly, properly seasoned and hot. Tables are spaced apart enough where sounds are there but quiet conversation can be had. The prices are high but the quality of food and service make the sting not so bad. Indulge yourself.

I had a great dinner here with friends in a Saturday night. I absolutely loved the atmosphere in here. Think classic Palm Springs steakhouse that’s been renovated and updated. They have a wine and cocktail list but you can also BYOB. We each got a salad and an entree and split three sides, which was more than enough. Steak is the thing to get here - I got the Beef Wellington and Potato Chip Salad. Both recommended. Prices were high but not crazy for the setting. Would repeat

We called for a last-minute reservation and they got back to us quick. Luckily, they had a table available for Sunday night for two humans and two dogs. It was our first time trying the Beef Wellington, and they absolutely killed it! The service was excellent, and the patio was quiet enough to keep our dogs calm and comfortable. Valet parking made everything even easier. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed the experience.

Absolutely delightful evening at Mr. Lyons steakhouse! We came for the prime rib and were not disappointed. Definitely on the level of a traditional English Sunday roast. The French onion soup is exquisite. The staff is exceptionally accommodating!

Not bad but not mind-blowingly great either. We had the bone marrow, brussel sprouts, shrimp cocktail, beef Wellington. No complaints. Service was excellent. Stopped by their “speakeasy” after dinner. Sad to say that was underwhelming.
Calla A — Google review
Onion rings were fun, prime rib was a little tough and didn't have a lot of flavor, Beef Wellington was basically extremely lacking on the mushrooms, brussel sprouts were tasty but pretty raw.

Great sandwiches and baked goods. I've lived here > 20 years and never knew about this place, but they have delicious breads and I'll be visiting often from now on!

Super cute neighborhood, bakery, and coffee shop...... and the BEST home baked good around! I absolutely love this place… Have been coming here for about 15 years since I've been out in the desert. They literally have the most amazing carrot muffins that I've ever tasted. I don't live close by and these are worth the drive

The only negative I have was that the soda machine was not working, however the owner gave us a can in compensation. BUT sandwiches are absolutely delicious I also bought a pumpkin and chocolate chip loaf bread freshly baked. Only $8 in house made! Patio is a plus PET FRIENDLY!

The only thing I could possibly complain about here is that I didn’t see any gluten free options but I also didn’t ask. My partner and her family love this place, and compared the croissants to their favorite places in Paris. The inside is beautiful and comfortable. Many options!

Aspen Mills Bakery, a family-owned gem, offers an array of delicious cookies, muffins, sandwiches, and more. We visited during our Palm Springs vacation, specifically searching for swirled rye bread after scouring Central California. They had it, and it was fantastic! We even grabbed an extra loaf to freeze. The customer service was outstanding— the owner's son was especially kind, listening attentively to our grandson Aspen share the sweet story behind his name. This bakery is now our go-to spot in town. Thank you, Aspen Mills, for your delectable treats and exceptional service!

Aspen mill's bakery is a lovely place with wonderful delicious food, a friendly staff, an inviting atmosphere. The owner Marty, he's quaint and charming and always has a friendly greeting. When you come in. It's beautifully decorated and the food is delicious, the tuna is out of this world. Its definitely a must see stop on your next trip to Palm Springs.

Family owned bakery with fresh bread and delicious sandwiches. They open early and you can get sandwiches at anytime of the day which is amazing coming off a night shift. I got the Tuscany sandwich with extra protein which was very fresh and flavorful. Their potato salad is more on the sweet side and was also good. Staff was very welcoming and I got a free sample of their chocolate pumpkin muffin which was dense, moist and delicious. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating.

The menu features a variety of options including omelettes, hot cakes, biscuits and gravy, Chilaquiles with eggs, Carne asada, French toast, and more.
Alright, I've been to a lot of breakfast and brunch spots. This by far takes the cake. The food was magnificent, and the service was great. These guys know what they are doing and are very kind. Would recomend if you want breakfast to feel like your home dining room. Worth every dollar and minute spent.

Service is quick, friendly and attentive. Food was okay, the hash browns were mushy and undercooked. The biscuits are really good. Eggs were loaded with excess salt. The prices are a bit high for this level of facility, which desperately needs some refresh. They seem like a great group of people.

1st time we stopped here, they had the Hawaiian Omelet on their Specials of the Day board and had to inquire. It was a Ham & Pineapple Omelette. Sorry for those who don't care for pineapple but I love it and of course had to try it. I've been on a Holistic Restrictive Diet for the past few months, so being able to request a few tweaks in ingredients, with no hesitation from the server, is a BIG plus for me 🙏🏽. As for the omelette... Loved it 🤪❤️👍🏼 Happy & friendly service. Quaint lil diner type establishment, with plenty of food options for everyone. Would definitely refer to anyone, to give them a try 😎

We had breakfast here yesterday and it was a positive experience because of the outdoor seating and for the speed and great service . Unfortunately the holllondaise sauce , eggs, tomato and spinach with mambo breakfast were so bland the whole dish tasted washed out . Would return but order something different .

The friendliest server (David?) - could not have done more for us and loved to chat to us about premier league football. Great vibe to the diner, good location with free easy parking. We only had a simple breakfast of waffle, toast & eggs but all was good solid diner fare.
Jayne S — Google review
Classic rock plays, a little hole in the wall kind of diner vibe. They have a few options at $14 a plate, and that’s the cheapest options, but the food is good. I got the number 1, which said it come with two eggs, when the dish came out it had to be at least 6 eggs and 1/4 pound of ham in em. I ain’t complaining. I credit the prices more to the general Palm Springs area. Taste of Country holds true to its name, the biscuits and gravy were good by tennessee standards.

The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch daily, featuring comforting options like French toast, breakfast tacos, and biscuits with gravy. For those seeking lighter fare, the cafe offers creamy date shakes made with local dates and almond milk, as well as acai bowls.
As a brand new Palm Springs resident; it took me passing by a few times before I noticed this groovy little store/cafe tucked into a strip center near Ralphs Supermarket. I am so glad i didn’t pass them by today, but instead stopped for a healthy and filling lunch. The Veggie burger and side of potatoes were well seasoned, with great flavor and quite filling. The staff was friendly and the store seemed to have a great mix of natural and healthy products. An appealing patio awaits when the temps drop down under 100😉 A great find. I’ll be back!

I ordered a vegan BLTA. It was terrible! The crumbling vegan bacon was minimally warmed up. The sourdough bread fell apart. The sandwich tasted like a poorly made vegan sandwich circa vegan food 2001. Oh, there were some blue corn tortilla chips thrown on the plate with a tiny bit of salsa. Weird combination for sure. This was my first and my last visit. I’ll stick with the better vegan sandwich options in Palm Springs. This place is gross!

Whenever I stay in Palm Springs I always choose a place to be close to my favorite hike and this store. They have great selection of vegan/vegetarian menu, as well as groceries. Including my favorite chocolate Coracao. You can buy fresh fruit here as well, usually bananas, oranges and apples. They also offer homemade with love pastries ♥️ My favorite smoothie is Wheatgrass Energy which I buy daily.

We love this little vegan cafe and grocery store here in Palm Springs. It’s one of our “go to” places for vegan foods and food products, and many supplements, that we can’t find in other local stores. We like that they have bulk bins, too. Their cafe has a great menu and decent prices, and the food is always delicious. They have plenty of vegan and vegetarian options on their cafe menu, as well as smoothies, shakes, shots, and bowls. I especially like stopping here for a coffee and breakfast. We also get carry out from here fairly often. It’s one of very few places for totally vegan food in Palm Springs, and definitely one of our favorites! We will keep going back.

Great for breakfast & brunches. Very popular. Worth a visit. It’s a shop with two lines of benches and tables between refrigerators and shelves, paper plates, plastic forks, self service. Great choice of healthy food, reasonable portions. I rushed order with little thinking, ordered unfortunate ’veggie garlic noodles with curry sauce’. Veggies were delicious, noodles had a weird smell, I didn’t even finished it. The Berry bonanza shake was fantastic, deluted with water couple of times - incredibly rich, would get it again. Awesome that Palm Springs has such places.

Chef Tanya's Kitchen is a low-key eatery that offers an all-vegetarian menu featuring deli sandwiches, salads, and healthy bowls. Founded by chef Tanya Petrovna, who previously established the first national vegan chain, Native Foods, the restaurant specializes in plant-based dishes made with house-made ingredients like kale giardiniera, tofu "facon," and chickpea "tuNO."
The BLTA is the best vegan sandwich I've ever had - so tasty - came back 3 days in a row and ordered it again and again. The Tasty Thai Tofu salad is excellent as is the Cubano sandwich. There was not a lot of talking in the indoor eating space because everyone was so focused on enjoying their meals - see menu below - so many choices. All Vegan. And the restaurant had a mini vegan grocery store that some really cool unique items. Couldn't recommend this place high enough, especially as a lunch destination. You order in one building and there is a small room next store to eat in - not the greatest atmosphere, but the food more than makes up for it.

Tanya’s was a highlight of Palm Springs. We shared the Chupacabra Chick’n sandwich, Coachella Forever salad, and a twist cone. Everything was excellent, and I loved the gift shop! Bonus that we went on a Saturday and got to see kittens up for adoption.

Cute place, all plant-based. Food was delicious. We tried the chili burger, Pastrami Mami, the Cupracabra burger, crispy chicken and the Guadalajara burger. If you are a vegan, this is THE place!

Absolutely delicious and addictive deli-style sandwiches and salads. Went there twice in 2 days in the summer peak of Palm Springs during a little trip and now I can't have it anymore! Nice shop as well with local products and some gifts, merch and books. Nice friendly service from Tyler :) AB.SO.LU.TE.LY recommended, don't even think about it!

This place is easy to find, access, and exit. We went into the store, as many people do, instead of the dining room two doors down. It's my understanding that ALL of the food is vegan. Service was quick and friendly. The order was brought to our table in the dining room. You should bus your own table. Our lunch was very tasty and satisfying. We recommend it without reservation. It didn't appear to be wheelchair, but maybe handicapped accessible. I didn't notice, but didn't look for a restroom. If you found this review to be helpful please consider adding a thumbs up 👍 or a heart ❤️. Thanks.

This lovely vegan restaurant gives true Cali Desert vibes in the best way and is a must visit! The service was great and the menu is varied with a host of prepared and made to order food options! There are several whole food based healthier vegan options also which is wonderful! There are two separate buildings - one where you order and can purchase local and unique items and the other has indoor seating and restrooms. The food is served to you directly in the indoor seating area if dining in. Of note, I appreciated the eco-friendly approach as it appeared the restaurant used recyclable, reusable and/or compostable containers!

5 days in Palm Springs - I've been here for 2 days and eaten here 3 times. If you are Vegan this is a MUST VISIT - if you aren't, this is the place to see what Plant Based can mean. The menu offers a variety of cocktails and Southern California plates with Asian/Filipino influences, including options like garlic noodles with galbi and chicken adobo.
First time visiting Boozehounds and it was a great experience! The vibe was awesome—everyone was so friendly, especially all the dog lovers. The service was excellent, and they even gave us a free snack for our furry babies—just one simple ingredient: chicken breast. Our pups loved it! The food came out quickly and the portions were perfect for brunch. Plus, they have a dog menu as well. We'll definitely be back!

We came in on a Monday for lunch and were seated right away. For lunch, they do bar ordering with limited table service but our food came out quickly and was exceptional. They have a full water and treat station for the dogs as well as a fun dog menu. We tried the watermelon gazpacho for our two dachshunds and they loved it! There’s plenty of space for tables to keep dogs separated from other groups and the outdoor patio was shaded and cool. It was quiet during the lunch hour but they advertised fun events like drag shows that I’m sure make the restaurant a blast. We will absolutely be back

Very nice happy hour spot. Super cute art deco design and furniture. Good happy hour special and fantastic waiter. They also have an outdoor spot if you want to bring your dog. Food was good except for mini egg rolls which were beyond small and over priced for 3 little roles

Wow. The best “Benny” I’ve had in a long time. I ordered with a side of bacon because this is a meatless Benny. I should’ve trusted the chef and let the roasted chickpeas be the star of the show. Glad I asked for protein on the side so I could try the dish on its own! First time here. I’d suggest calling ahead if you’re with a dog and by yourself. The front signage asking to go through the “doggy” door appeared to be misleading when I arrived. Lovely staff. Amazing food. Cozy and comfortable for dogs. Turns out chefs in Palm Springs can actually cook. This is my new favorite place, after condemning Palm Springs as a culinary desert. PLEASE visit. This place is delicious and made for fun.

Nice spot for cocktails and small bites in Palm Springs. If you’re looking to get out of the heat and enjoy a cocktail hour then this is a great option. The vegan food options on the menu were diverse in selection which I appreciated. Everything came out quickly and tasted good. I enjoyed the cocktail as well. It was well balanced, refreshing, and hit the spot! The overall aesthetic of the place is very mid century chic and somewhat moody. It’s the type of place where you want to dress up a little for cocktail hour, which makes me happy. I’d happily go back next time I’m in Palm Springs!

Boozehounds…Heard great things and was super excited to try it. Unfortunately, it did not meet the mark or come even close. Super cool restaurant when you walk in. Interestingly/unexpectedly, there were no less than four bachelor/bachelorette parties when we walked in. Maybe that was my fault but not the vibe we were looking for. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful explaining the menu. For drinks, unfortunately, they had no available draft beers, and of the cans, they were out of the amber, had two IPAs, and the “plain” beer they did have was mango flavored. I got the Siren’s Call cocktail which looked great on paper but was extremely unbalanced and not my favorite. For food, we had everything come out at once, which again maybe was our fault, but it took FAR longer than it should have…and came out cold. Something to flag- the portion sizes were super confusing. The Brussel sprouts were an appetizer and a HUGE portion, whereas the lumpia (chicken spring rolls) were also an appetizer but were five small pieces and came out cold. On the bizarre side, the sweet chili dipping sauce came out in a plastic condiment cup instead of a normal cup or ramekin which seemed out of place for everything else that was presented on the nicer side. We ordered the garlic noodles which were good, but not super garlicky and adobo chicken protein we added was dry and not broken up well (some was shredded and some was in clumps). Lastly, we got the tteokbokki (very thick, chewy, mozzarella stick-sized noodles) which was in a fantastic sauce but odd general texture. Uncommon to have an Asian dish with cheese, but overall good flavor. We asked to see the dessert menu and instead we’re brought the check which was an odd way to end the meal. Overall, really disappointed with the drinks and food. Staff was friendly enough, but that’s not going to make up for cold food and lack of flavor.

We held our full, 100 person wedding reception at Boozehounds back in April. We could not have envisioned a better venue! Cameron, Chef Aric, and DJ Chris absolutely knocked it out of the park. They were all incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond. The space works exceptionally well for a reception, as you can flow from the cocktail hour on the patio, to a sit down dinner in the dining room, to dancing in the atrium. Received a ton of comments that it was the best “wedding food” anyone has ever had!

After a hot walk around Palm Springs my wife and I were craving something cold but light enough not to ruin our appetite for dinner. Fruit Wonders looked inviting with great reviews so we decided to give it a try. I ordered the Tropical Breeze smoothie with added protein and it was absolutely phenomenal. The flavor was bright and refreshing and honestly one of the best smoothies I have ever had. My wife went with the Super Green and added spinach and strawberries. She loved hers too and was really happy with the taste and freshness. The downside is the price. We paid around thirty dollars for two smoothies which feels pretty steep no matter how tasty they are. Fifteen dollars for one drink is hard to justify even when it is delicious. Another small negative was the restroom experience. I needed to use it and when I opened the door I was met with a very unpleasant surprise in the toilet. It clearly had not been cleaned yet after a previous guest and I was honestly shocked to see the largest turd of my life. Thankfully it did not affect the smell of the main shop but man, that was a mood kill for sure. Overall the smoothies are excellent and the service is kind but the prices are high. If you do not mind paying a premium it is worth a stop for a really good smoothie but be prepared for the sticker shock.

Located inside the Hilton Palm Springs, The Heyday has gained a loyal following for its signature smashburger made with an ultra-thin Harris Ranch beef patty on a potato bun, topped with shredded iceberg, caramelized onions, housemade Thousand Island-style sauce, and melty American cheese.
This place Always hits the spot after landing in Palm Springs! It’s such a delicious smash burger…patty is seasoned well and grilled perfectly; yummy sauce and just everything right! They even made my son a kids version. Or for $9, make it an adult meal with a martini…because, why not?! The cook on the crinkle fries are just perfect too. Crisped and seasoned just right! Cool and casual, old school diner vibe. Quick and friendly service. Always a nice little stop for us here!!

What a delightful burger and cocktails joint! The service was excellent and everyone incredibly friendly and welcoming! We ordered a bunch of smash burgers, fries and onion rings. This is a cute little spot with only about 11 tables. The funky decor and casual atmosphere are a great place to stop for lunch. We couldn’t pass up the $20 burger and martini special… one of the best smash burgers we’ve ever had. It comes with caramelized onion and 1000 island, and we completed the meal with crinkle cut fries. Everything was served fresh, hot, and under ten minutes. Highly recommend! My husband said why can’t we give it 6 stars?! 🍸 🍔

A+ Recommended by the Fleur Noire as an amazing smash burger. True enough. I had the lemondrop Martini special and it was amazing. There are only 5 entrees on the menu and 3 of them are smash burgers, but that’s enough when you do one thing very well. Highly recommend.

Don’t understand what’s the hype about this place because the food is Medicare, basic smash burger and the veggie burger was extremely oily served on white toast bread, basic fries and salad. The price came down close to 70$ which I think is very high for what this is an over priced shake shack!
Behnia — Google review
Don’t waste your money. The burgers are the size of a hockey puck on the cheapest tiny bun you can buy and are served on a tea saucer of a plate. The $10 salad was lettuce with very little dressing. And when you have $30 of fries and onion rings on the table and ask for condiments they bring you a tablespoon amount and never return to the table. They play the video of Guy Fieri on the big screen the whole time you are there showing all these wonderful dishes not even made at this location. Sooooo misleading. It cost my family $200 to eat here for burgers fries and drinks :(. Picture of my $20 happy meal burger attached. Please have a look.

The best veggie burger I’ve ever had. Menu is super simple, but what they do, they do well. Mushroom patty is perfect. Bun is soft but doesn’t fall apart. Toppings are messy and abundant but not impossible to eat. Also ordered full order of late night fries to split - was massive and memorable. Tasted great; love the queso. Wish I had appetite to also get onion rings. Short wait around 8pm on a Saturday night. In town for Indian Wells tennis tournament. If I had time to come back for another meal during my trip, I would. Both the table server and host were friendly, quick, and happy to chat and went out of their way to give other vacation recommendations. A great experience.

Nestled in a prime location just off the 10 freeway and a short drive from Palm Springs Airport, The Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa is an expansive retreat offering a myriad of amenities. Boasting two championship Troon golf courses and three pools, including one with a thrilling 60-foot-tall waterslide, the resort provides ample opportunities for relaxation and recreation.
We will give five stars! Westin brand is reliable and we are huge fans of their style and structure. This particular property slightly dated. But the kids enjoyed the water slides and we enjoyed the pool area. Ground are very nicely kept and it’s beautiful to walk around! Staff and everyone on-site, amazing. Thanks for hosting us :)

This Westin Resort & Spa is a great location that is very family friendly. Great staff, lovely location. The rooms are a bit "dated" but roomy and very clean. My only reservations are that as a person with mobility issues, the rooms we were assigned required a lot of walking which I cannot do, we had to request (and got lucky) finding a ground-floor room because they have no elevators on the grounds and also, the beds are about 3 feet off the ground so I had great difficulty getting in and out of bed. But for folks with no physical limitations this place is great, and reasonably price because if you include breakfast (versus earning points) you save money -- and they offer a very generous and nice buffet brunch spread.

2/5 – Disappointed by the Condition. We recently stayed at the Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa, and while the staff was friendly when we actually interacted, the overall experience fell short of expectations. I used to come here when I was younger and loved it so I was excited to change from our normal hotel of choice to this with our kids. The room itself was noticeably rundown. Attached are a few photos showing mold in the bathroom, including around the shower bar, air vent, and floor seams. This wasn’t just cosmetic wear, it pointed to a lack of proper upkeep. One of the balcony chairs was so worn it felt unsafe to sit on and looked like it was warped and about to fall through. We used a towel on the stucco ledge to sit on instead. We also had an issue with service. We requested silverware three separate times, and no one ever delivered it. Eventually, we had to walk up and get it ourselves. Thatwas minor but still, it was frustrating. To be fair, the staff we interacted with were all very polite, and the property grounds were lovely. However the rooms seriously need renovation, and maintenance appears to be lacking. Overall, it was just okay—we expected more from a Westin and I was seriously hopeful for a better experience.

Beautiful setting, big hotel surrounded by a manicured golf course. Room was spacious, the pools are big and heated, especially the main one by the slides. The adult pools were not as cleaned as expected, we also noticed the landscaping around the pools needed some work. Service wasn’t the best, it was hard to find food within the hotel. The main restaurant is overpriced and the Fire Lounge offered a small bites/menu only. Fortunately we found the Chef’s secret window and had good burritos even tho we had to wait 20 min as the server was delivering room service. Also disappointed that they only have breakfast buffet on weekends! For such a big resort I was expecting more staff and more dining options.
Luna V — Google review
Our first impression when we got there was pretty terrible. It was Father's day and the pool was filled with people that appeared not to be resort guests. They had brought in large personal coolers, radios, food, and threw beer cans all over the pool area. The gates were left open so people could freely walk in and out. The staff didn't seem to mind. The deck and cloudy water looked so filthy that we decided not to swim and went to the adult pool where there were at least less beer cans in the skimmer and on the deck than in the family pool. The next day however, it was clean, quiet, and appeared to be back to resort guests only at the pools. The rec room had some issues with broken machines and the slides opened late, but overall the rest of the stay was pretty pleasant so I was glad I didn't have the urge to demand a refund at the front desk for false advertisement anymore. Day 1 of our stay I would've given this resort -3 stars and Day 2&3 I would give it 4. The rooms were nice and the resort ground were well-maintained. Staff was courteous and friendly.

The westin was beautiful 😍 Staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and felt very cozy with the linen, pillows and fluffy down comforter. I went for my birthday and my two daughters. The only thing nice can say is that the slide connectors may need to be sanded down a little bit as they sort of hurt going down every time you hit where they connect each piece. Not sure if that is routine maintenance or not, but that is my feedback for the hotel management.
Megan H — Google review
First of all, the resort building and grounds are beautiful — truly stunning. However, that’s where the positives end. The room was dirty, and the sheets had visible stains. The next day, housekeeping never came, and we had to request service ourselves. The pool area was disappointing as well — the cabanas were filthy, and there was no bar open at all. If you book through Expedia or similar platforms, be aware that the hotel will still charge you an additional $50 per day for pool service and a resort fee. The restaurant was another letdown — the food was poor, and the staff seemed underqualified. To top it off, the adult pool was closed for a private event without any notice to guests. Aren’t we guests too? Such a disappointing and frustrating experience.

Thank you to Lorina and Elba for accommodating my last minute stay during a holiday weekend. Check in was busy, but the wait time wasn’t long. Jay at the front desk was friendly and efficient. He took the time to explain the amenities was even apologetic about the busy lobby. This is our second time staying at the property and the views never fail. The whole place was clean and quiet. I love that this hotel is dog-friendly, we were able to bring our pup with us. Our room was clean and spacious with an amazing view of the golf course. We had enough towels and even had all toiletries just in case you forgot some items. We can’t wait to go back. The Westin in Rancho Mirage will be our go-to hotel whenever we are in town.

If you're on the hunt for a charming and vibrant dining experience, Alana • Bar + Tapas in Palm Springs is your go-to destination. This intimate spot may be small, but it radiates warmth and character, making it essential to book ahead—especially if you have a preference for indoor or outdoor seating. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between eclectic and lively, creating an inviting atmosphere that draws you in.
We tried the ps1938 and Vegetable Tacos. Both were delicious. Especially the vegetable tacos were a good surprise as you don’t usually find good food in a bar. I’d say the alcohol in the cocktail could have been a bit more but it was still yummy. The bartender is awesome and super kind. If I go back, I’ll sit at the chairs that are outside. I love that seating area as you are on the street and also in the bar.

If you’re looking for a cozy, vibey spot with amazing food and even better energy, look no further than Alana’s Tapas Bar in Palm Springs. This place is small in size but massive in charm, so I highly recommend making a reservation—and be sure to specify whether you want to sit inside or outside. The space fills up quickly, especially on weekends. The atmosphere is seriously cool—intimate, eclectic, and just the right kind of lively. The food? Unique, bold, and packed with flavor. Every dish we tried felt like it had a story behind it, and it’s clear the kitchen takes pride in their craft. The tequila selection is also a standout. Trust me, try it—you’ll notice it’s something special. Despite visiting on a crowded Friday night, the service was on point. The staff was attentive, warm, and genuinely seemed to care about the experience we were having. It’s definitely on the higher end in terms of price, but absolutely worth every penny. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Alana in the past, and she’s just as sweet and engaging as the place she’s created. Alana’s Tapas Bar is one of those rare spots you leave already planning your next visit. Highly recommend.

A walk in amazing experience on the popular Palm Canyon Drive. The hostess was most charming and helpful finding us a slightly bigger table for 3 outside. The cocktails very unique and delicious. The tapas were tasty and abundant for 3 people. Recommend it!

Dining with The Davids is all about exploring the best culinary experiences, and Alana Bar & Tapas did not disappoint! The vibe here is elevated and chic, with a friendly and attentive staff. The cocktails are exceptional, featuring in-house syrups and mixers. Their tequila selection is 100% organic and additive-free—a must-try for any enthusiast! We sampled nearly everything on the menu with our group and voted on our favorites: • Tied for First: Carne Apache (a tender, smoky beef tartare) and Taco de Camarón (grilled shrimp with creamy avocado and mango salsa) • Second Place: Taco de Barbacoa (grilled beef with avocado and cilantro) • Third Place: Camote de Calzeta (sweet potatoes with piloncillo syrup and whipped cream) Follow us for more culinary adventures in Palm Springs and beyond!

amazing spot for small bites and the best cocktails. cute and cozy with excellent vibes and design. plus they only serve additive free tequilas which is a plus for my group have been here multiple times since I recommend the oysters for a small bite and the Maracuya cocktail which was a blend of dates, fig, and something else floral... 10/10. Nothing else like this in Palm Springs

Came in on Friday night and while all other restaurants were booked we stumbled upon this spot and it was FANTASTIC! Great quality drinks and charcuterie meats were good. Will be back.
Claudia H — Google review
The experience was good minus the fact that the mussels were cold and didn’t taste good at all. The Paloma’s were awful. The tacos were good and the beers were good. The most disappointing part of the entire experience was the fact they wouldn’t remove the mussels from the order when we only ate one mussel. But overall still a good experience and atmosphere. But will not return for the reasons mentioned above.

I love Tapas but am usually disappointed with what's available locally. However, I'm happy to say that Alana exceeded my expectations. There were four of us and we all tried different plates. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious! The spices and sauces were all unique and very different from one another. It was some of the best tapas I've had outside Spain. Their cocktails were equally amazing...truly unique and artisanal. I am usually disappointed in 'house specialty cocktails'. But in this instance, I highly recommend you try them. This is a new restaurant that is doing things right... with love and attention to detail. Let's give them our support. You won't be disappointed!!

Appetito is a trendy and modern Italian restaurant with a charming patio, offering an array of homemade pastas, delectable Italian dishes, and specialty cocktails. The restaurant boasts a cool atmosphere and stylish design that has made it a favorite among many patrons. Guests can enjoy their meals in oversized booths or at the bar while savoring appetizing options like French fries and calamares.
Perfect wine and draft beer selection. Great food and excellent service!

Feb 2016: Terrible service. Had to chase down a waitress despite a virtually empty restaurant, she was chatting with a colleague & ignored me to finish her conversation. The food was mediocre. And we got charged full price despite the happy hour because the beer we wanted wasn't available & the substitution wasn't included - thanks for letting us know. Not. Wouldn't recommend. Update April 2017: ended up here again because my kids fancied pizza/pasta. The service was much improved - attentive & friendly. But the food was even worse than last time. The margarita pizza was over loaded with sun-dried tomatoes & oregano, inedible. The pasta with pine nuts & raisins had the worse excuse for a tomato sauce I've ever tried. Chicken wings were BBQ'd but flabby & poor quality. Never again.

Amazing. How does this place not have 5 stars? The food was delicious, just fantastic, and the portion sizes were huge! I was with a party of 3, we all got the 3 course meal. The lasagna was the best, but we all cleaned our plates. Service was also fantastic! I would go back nightly if there weren't so many great resteraunts here, but this one is a hidden gem.
Nate S — Google review
My husband and I ate there on our recent vacation and loved the food. We had the kale cesar and dirty martini's to start which were perfectly salty on a crisp desert night. We split the lasagna and I'm still telling my friends about it! Seriously, some of the best I've ever had. We'll be back for sure.
Austin C — Google review
I've been here about ten times and the design, atmosphere and quality make it one of my favorite restaurants. I watched a Blackhawks playoff game, seated at the bar, and having an enjoyable conversation with an attorney seated next to me. I ordered two excellent appetizers: French fries and calamares (fried squid). I've also eaten dinners there with friends usually seated in the oversized booths along the west side of the large room. I usually order linguini with clams (in their shells), my favorite. Their pizzas are very good. Daily specials. Friendly staff. A bonus it's location, in the same building as the Kofi cafe, and there is parking.

The food here is really good. I had the kale cesar salad and liked especially the Anchovis flavor in the homemade dressing. Service is great too and the interior modern with a nice view on the hills.

The Service was great, the beetroot and strawberry salad was good but my pasta was terrible. It says it's home made pasta, but those ravioli were really bad and uncooked. Never had such bad pasta in an italian restaurant.

Spacious contemporary Italian place serving lunch & dinner. I can't decide if it's family or bar oriented and I don't think they know either. But they have a full bar and compared to what else is available, I give them 4 stars.

I ordered chicken kebabs for takeout and this is what I got. I was surprised that there was no salad in here, and for the amount I paid ~$20 this is all the chicken I got. Wanted to like this place as the service was nice, but this is disappointing

Delicious meal! My daughters suggested Zadie as a take out option on our visit to Palm Springs. Everything was extremely fresh and full of flavor. I highly recommend and plan to return on the next trip.

We LOVE the fresh flavors at Zadie, it’s the perfect spot for a casual dinner with friends, there’s really nothing like it in Palm Springs. The share plates are amazing and the burger is one of my favorites in town. You’ve got to try the pickle martini!
