Had the Moscow Mule drink, crab cake entree, original chopped salad and chicken & mascarpone ravioli. The drink & ravioli were the nicest. Not fond of the crab cake, normally am not though. We had to try their original chopped salad. Found it too sour, not enough meat and too 'chopped' so it was a bit soggy. Decor a bit dated but maybe then that's its appeal. Service impeccable 'cos you know, 'murica.

I’ve been a loyal customer, frequently dining in and ordering take-out, and I’ve always been happy with the food and service. However, today I placed a large lunch order and was very disappointed , all of the salads were soggy and excessively wet, making them unappetizing. When I called to kindly request a remake, the person I spoke with was surprisingly rude and dismissive, stating, “It’s lettuce, of course it’s going to be wet.” I understand that lettuce needs to be washed, but it should also be properly dried before serving, especially in a restaurant setting. Unfortunately, the combination of poor food quality and the unprofessional response means we’ll be looking elsewhere for our future orders. It’s disappointing to be treated that way after being a regular customer.

Use to be an old favorite. Went back after years very disappointed. Famous chopped salad, insipid. Ravioli all cheese, no lobster or pumpkin, swimming in browned butter, instant coronary, too rich and unpalatable. Pasta with shrimp in thick flavorless sauce. Oh god, need to revamp an old favorite. Hate to see it go out of business which it will.

Absolutely terrible experience. How can they have that DISGUSTING HOST at the door? Not the first time i come for lunch and have a bad time with that person. Extremely unprofessional, extremely rude to my older parents, threatening us about not serving my mother arriving right behind me. Absolute terrible behavior and should not be dealing with people. Never coming back.

Really cute atmosphere but not the best customer service. Waited a moment at the host stand before someone seated us, was sat, then wasn’t served for another 20 mins. Shoutout David S for his attention & speedy delivery of our drinks once we were finally noticed. Wouldn’t recommend, unless you really don’t have somewhere to be.

Sad to say that for this special occasion (a belated bday for me), this photo is the best part of this experience. The service was inattentive, the food very mediocre and the waiter never even asked why I did not eat my horrible small salad (iceberg lettuce with tomato wedges and shredded carrots). Sad.

Location in Beverly Hills was great. Valet parking and close to Rodeo Drive. It was O-KAY. The salad wasn't impressive. Not a lot of flavours. Lots of beans and peas and I'm sure it was healthy but it just lacked flavours. The clam linguini was a large serving which I couldn't finish but the sauce was just too runny for my liking. I typically like a thicker, richer sauce for the linguini. So it tasted like I was just eating naked noodles with clams on the side. I'm sure the valet parking cost as much as one dish. But oh well. It was an interesting restaurant - I felt like I was in some American ranch.

I stopped by this Mendocino Farms today because an ice truck was set up in front of this place so I was planning on getting that afterwards. I placed my order online for their farm club sandwich and customized it. I didn't want avocado or red onions in it. I found parking in the parking garage located at the back of this place. When I walked inside, there a rack for online or take out orders but there was no order on it. So I checked in with one of the worker and they keep it in the back which I think is great so no one can take your food. I ate my food inside of the place and it's a nice area to just sit to eat your food. I thought the sandwich was okay but if I had the choice, I likely won't order it again here. This place is more like healthy food choices but I don't think people mind that I brought my own French fries and soda from places nearby.

I got the grilled cheese and my aunt got the club sandwich on gluten free bread. We both really enjoyed our food. My crust was a little dry but that’s just my preference other then that it was nice.

Sherman Oaks Mendocino Farms is by far the best Mendo in town. The entire team delivers excellent customer service and makes sure I eat happy whenever I visit. Shoutout to Troy with the A1 service, thank you bro!

The food here is great and convenient. I love how they are always changing up the menu so we dont get tired of it and its super easy to order online and pick up. Parking in the back is convenient and the staff are always very friendly and nice. I like the patio space is not right on the street when we want to eat in the store. Usually we get takeout. Favorites include the new watermelon poke salad, the old pita crunch salad, and the not so fried chicken. Also love their chicken soup on colder days.

Mendo is a go-to for on set crew meals, often having to handle pretty big orders. Just want to share this location's manager Aidan was really helpful in making sure my catering order was handled and available for pickup at the time we needed for our shoot. Thanks for your help!

Adrianna the catering manager and the Rene the store manager were friendly and helped me fix issues and made sure my order was placed perfectly plus they remembered me every time I called. Jame has been on my list for a while, and I finally made it in—honestly, the food did not disappoint. I’ve ordered food from Jame several times so I was excited to dine in. We shared the Ciabatta plate, Capellini, and the Mandilli, all which were very delicious and flavorful. The ambiance is lively and fun without being too loud, and the decor has that perfect mix of modern charm and cozy warmth. It’s the kind of place that is high energy, so it’s great for a midweek pick me up. That said, I was surprised by the service, especially after reading so many glowing reviews. When I asked for a wine recommendation, the response I got was flat and monosyllabic, which took me off guard. It wasn’t just that moment—any time we had a question (like asking what was in the butter), it felt like we were inconveniencing the server. There was a consistent sense of apathy that didn’t match the vibrant energy of the food or space. Despite that, the food was good enough that we’re open to giving Jame another shot. I’d love to return and see if the service experience was just a one-off—because the food is delicious.

Had lunch with my dog here yesterday. The staff were so sweet and accommodating. I asked for a table towards the back so that I was away from other guests since I have a big dog and not everyone is fond of big dogs. They brought a water bowl for my dog and made sure she was ok also. Even though I was seated away from the main crowd, several staff members came and checked on me regularly throughout my meal. They were helpful with their suggestions in terms of the food and also provided me with how the chicken breast was prepped since I ordered a plain one for my dog to have during our meal. I ended up getting the spicy vodka rigatoni with a side of chicken and the Caesar salad. Both were fantastic. The pasta was slightly chewy and had the perfect texture. The sauce was slightly spicy, but had so much flavor. The salad was citrusy, slightly spicy, crunchy, and just delicious. I loved every bite. I’m not local to the area, but would definitely eat here again if I was in the neighborhood.

We stopped by for a Friday date night. The food was quite good - we ordered the brussel sprouts, paccheri, mushroom lasagna, and the pork shank which was a real standout. We also enjoyed a few rounds of drinks, and the cucumber cocktail was the best of the bunch. Service was a bit off-putting. Our server seemed to have taken an unusual interest in my partner and seemed to pay the most attention to him rather than the pacing of our dishes 😂 TL;DR - we ended up cutting our time short and left early. there was just too much unwanted physical interaction from the server to my partner and quickly became uncomfortable for the both of us.

We had a GREAT meal at this diamond in the rough. Don’t let the unpretentious strip mall facade fool you, and as you approach the door you will see this is an upscale dining experience in a casual environment. The covered courtyard was a nice place for a summer dinner. The food is Fantastic! Excellent pasta. Limited wine by the glass options but the bottle selections were solid. i had the best experience at Jame last night! For the quality experience, the price is absolutely perfect. I had fantastic service, the food came out so quickly, and my god did the food taste amazing. It was the best meal I’ve had in a long time. It’s the kind of meal you’ll be thinking about periodically for the next few months just thinking about how enjoyable it was.

One of the best meals I’ve had in LA. The prix fixe for $95 was well worth the money, very high quality ingredients and beautiful plating, but best of all, it was a ton of food! Definitely come hungry. My partner and I came here for our anniversary and they gave us a small glass of champagne to celebrate, which was a nice touch. And the vibes!!! I came here once before they redid the space (which reminded me more of a deli/ cafe/ cafeteria), but they’ve managed to transform it into a hip, contemporary, sexy spot that makes you feel like an A-lister. The only minor criticisms I have is that we were seated at a smaller table, and while I assumed the booths were for parties over 2 people, two couples were seated in booths immediately after us, so it would have been nice to have a booth since it was a special occasion. Service could have been slightly more attentive, as we did have to ask for our server to order another drink, but overall wasn’t bad. Everyone was really professional and friendly.

Yangban in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles offers an amazing Korean-American dining experience, especially for large groups like that of what we have as a family of 8. We had the pre-fixed dinner option offered to our group that clearly showcased the restaurant’s ability to deliver a diverse and impressive array of dishes. While I didn’t know all the names of the dishes, it’s evident that the quality and presentation were all amazing! The seamless transition from appetizers to desserts speaks to the kitchen’s ability to maintain a high standard throughout the meal. The cocktails complementing our meal were also very good, which suggests a well-curated drink menu that pairs well with the food. The modern decor of Yangban complements the eclectic vibe of the Arts District. The service stood out as a highlight of the evening. Handling a party of eight can be challenging, but the server ( I apologize for not remembering his name) managed it with ease and professionalism. So excited to write this review because we had the best experience here, I cannot even explain how delicious was the food, for sure go for the prefix menu, you should trust the chef and order the prefix menu. I still craving some of those side dishes. The interior was so nice, beautiful ambience, food was perfect. The staff were so nice, everything was excellent, I should say, I had the best delicious cheesecake ever, I still craving that cheesecake and I would definitely go back to this restaurant and I already told a lot of friends about this beautiful, modern Korean restaurant!

All the appetizers are so good. Their textures and flavors are unique and impeccable. Their Tteok is also very good. I honestly would get it in my next visit. Super savory (love the mushroom, truffle cream base) While everyone talks about their wings, I personally find it on par with all the great Korean fried chicken in K-town (juicy and dipped in sweet soy sauce)

Our experience at Yangban was beyond great. There is plenty for vegetarians to choose from and everything we ordered was gorgeous to look at and tasted fantastic. Not a disappointing dish from the 5 we selected! These included the Tteok, a dumpling-like affair with lots of good flavors, including corn. Plus, from the Banchan menu, we ordered the Brokaw Avocado & Shinko Pear dish which was, by far, the most interesting and satisfying pear-based dish I've eaten. Also, the Pea Shoots and Chives were a beautiful tower of green freshness in our mouths. And, although I'm not necessarily a huge sweet potato fan, the Goguma dish was fantastic! For dessert, we tried the Yangban "The Works" ice cream dish. We could have used more of the doenjang caramel it came with but it tasted great otherwise. The service was great too. The food came out quickly. Our server was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and gave us good and detailed recommendations. We'd come back and eat here again. This is definitely a unique, destination restaurant in LA.

Atmosphere was very nice. Helpful waiters in ordering signature drinks and dishes. It's a Asian twist on both the husband and wife's upbringings, Husband is Korean, raised Korean, wife is also Korean, but adopted by a white Jewish family. Amazing flair and style of tapa plates. It's quite pricey, so be prepared to spend some money. Had the honor to meet both of them in their environment, the kitchen. Good people who love what they do to make tasty food. It's location is in the older part of downtown that has had some clean up done to make room for upcoming business and restaurants.

We ordered a little bit of everything for a tailgate at our home. To order I drove to the restaurant and ordered from the manager who was extremely helpful,, feiendly, knowledgeable and professional. The order was delivered to my home the next day. The delivery woman was friendly and professional and on time. The food itself was as professionally packaged as and perfectly presented. I was formally in the catering business.and couldn’t have been more pleased with the presentation. Don’t hesitate to!!!

I ordered a simple chicken rice wrap. I seen it was empty with no one in line. Once i ordered i noticed it was slightly busy with online orders, however it took 45 mins just for a wrap and it wasn’t even the correct order. Waste of money & time on my part.

California Chicken Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants. I especially love their salads—the Chinese Chicken Salad is my go-to. Their roasted chicken is also consistently delicious. I used to make the drive to the Westside just to eat there, but during the pandemic, they opened a location in Downtown Los Angeles, which has been a game-changer for me. The staff at the DTLA location is always kind, professional, and efficient. They only offer curbside pickup or delivery, and every time I go to pick up my order, I’m greeted with a warm smile. This past weekend, I ran into an issue placing an order through their app due to a credit card processing error. I called the restaurant and spoke with Christian, who went above and beyond to help. He even gave me his cell number so I could send a screenshot of the error message. Thanks to his quick action, my order was processed within minutes and ready shortly after. As always, the food was fresh and delicious.

I ordered from here on Uber Eats. I got the Melrose wrap, a lemonade and a cookie. All of it held up incredibly well in transit. The wrap was terrific. It was filling and the Italian dressing that comes with it on the side is the perfect accompaniment. I would absolutely order this wrap again. I liked the lemonade and cookie as well. Affordable, filling and delicious.

CCC is such a nice place to have a healthy and refreshing lunch. My go to order is the Chicken Cesar Salad with the pita croutons. Besides the food tasty amazing, the service is fantastic , I was helped by Anahí whom is very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu , she suggested other menu items, which I will definitely try next time.

The food is good, it’s decent value for the portions over the taste, aside from the delicious omelets. However, I received poor service today from simply ordering water. I asked for tap water, and I got bottled still water which I was charged $11 DOLLARS for. I did not request this at all and asked why the mix up as I got the bill, all I received was a sorry and not the removal of the item from my bill.

Lovely and colorful atmosphere with picturesque spots around the restaurant. Blueberry scones here are very good and I think only available on weekends earlier in the day. The lobster sandwich was pretty good. The waiter kept messing up my order and quite forgetful. I asked for side salad instead of fries and I got fries. I specifically asked for no butter but my sandwich had quite a lot of butter. For a $50 sandwich, it should be made correctly.

The Ivy on Robertson gives you the uncanny feel of a country estate, only the lawns are replaced by a charming white picket patio and the butler is probably texting you the wine list. Since opening its doors in 1980 the place has carried that effortless air of old school glamour and quiet prestige. Start with the corn chowder that punctures any notion that soups must be stodgy. It is silky and comforting without being heavy. When stone crab is in season that is your chance to go off menu in the best possible way. Paired with a grilled farmers market salad or one of the lighter healthy gems, it is a perfect balance. The menu is an orchestra of favorites. You might follow that chowder with pumpkin ravioli one day, baby back ribs the next, or the classic crab salad or chopped salad that are staples people come back for. Drinks are as thoughtfully made as the food. The French rosé champagne sangria is brimming with fresh fruit, the passion fruit margarita balances tart and tropical, and the blood orange margarita with serrano heat has just the right kick. This is still the Ivy, legendary for reasons that go beyond supremely good food. Its status as a Beverly Hills dining institution comes from the way it blends floral whimsy, celebrity spotting, and an atmosphere that says you are exactly where you belong without ever shouting it. Hollywood came of age here, patrons have been walking in glossy magazines since shoulder pads were a thing, and yet it still feels fresh enough to make repeat visits feel new. It is still a legend in Beverly Hills because it balances spectacle with substance. The flowers are everywhere, the energy quiet but electric, the menu familiar but filled with pleasurable surprises. It is the kind of place people go when they want to dine fabulously, and know they will be remembered for doing it in style.

This was my 3rd time here and unfortunately the worst meal I’ve had in LA. I actually flew all the way from London as my last visit was incredible, but this experience was a huge letdown. I ordered a Caesar salad that was completely bland, and the prawns on top were overcooked, plus there were only four of them, which honestly felt like a joke. I also had the shrimp pizza, which came out burnt and overcooked. The atmosphere didn’t feel like the true Ivy experience either. At one point, a mother at the next table twisted and pinched her child’s hand, then started screaming, it completely ruined the vibe. The only highlight was the free scones at the start, but overall, I won’t be returning here.

A classic must go to during sunny days very colorful flowery outdoors setting area, make sure to sit outdoors. Lobster pasta is one of the best. Pizza is ok They just need to do something about the flies.

Elegant Dining in a Legendary Setting The Polo Lounge is a true Beverly Hills classic. The garden is beautiful, the food is excellent, and the service is top-tier. The whole place exudes first-class charm and old Hollywood elegance. Come a bit early to stroll through the garden before your reservation. The pool area is reserved for hotel guests, but with a bit of charm, you might just get a quick peek – and it’s worth it. A timeless spot for a memorable meal.

Another dining institution in LA. The Beverly Hills Hotel and the Polo Lounge are old school super luxe. They scream opulence and it’s very much an occasion place to dine. The service is impeccable. I ordered the seafood salad which came with generous amounts of grab, lobster and prawns. The portion size was huge so worth the USD 68. I was dining solo but also a good option to share. The patio area is lovely and well-shaded. It feels like part of a movie set and is definitely something to experience. Dress for the occasion - everyone was really nicely dressed, definitely above the ‘smart casual’ listed on the website.

I live not too far from the hotel. I stop by for breakfast at the Polo Lounge every so often. They have quite a decent breakfast offering. Most menu items are classic American staple offerings. Menu prices are quite reasonable , breakfast items are roughly $30-40’s. Presentation is top notch. The service is impeccable.

I absolutely love the Polo Lounge—it’s hands down one of my favorite spots in Beverly Hills! I’ve had both dinner in the cozy alcove and breakfast out on the gorgeous patio, and both experiences were amazing. Dinner started with a basket of warm, delicious bread (always a good sign), and I had the chicken Parmesan but swapped out the spaghetti for the rigatoni Bolognese—HIGHLY recommend that combo! The pasta was rich and flavorful, and honestly stole the show. There was live music during dinner, with a musician singing fun classics like Lionel Richie, which added such a fun and lively vibe to the night. And whatever you do, don’t skip the soufflé for dessert—it’s absolutely heavenly. Breakfast was just as lovely. We had a basket of fresh pastries, rich lattes, and fluffy pancakes. The patio is truly something special—surrounded by beautiful flowers and lush greenery, it feels like a little escape in the middle of the city. Can’t say enough good things about the Polo Lounge. It’s a must if you’re looking for great food, beautiful ambiance, and a little bit of Old Hollywood charm.

This is truly one of my favorite places in LA, maybe even in all of California. The restaurant is incredibly elegant, beautiful, and high-end. It’s located in a stunning hotel, and just walking in lifts your mood. The entrance always features a breathtaking, oversized floral arrangement that sets the tone. The host was exceptionally kind and welcoming to us. The food was absolutely excellent.
I highly recommend the fish dishes and their famous soufflé dessert, unforgettable. There was live piano music playing during dinner, which I absolutely loved. It added so much to the atmosphere, romantic, classy, and soothing. The vibe is everything I adore: refined, relaxing, and full of charm.
The crowd was very upscale, and we even met some lovely people during our visit. We sat in a private booth, which was very comfortable and cozy.

Originally opened in 1941 the Polo Lounge is one of the most famous restaurants in Los Angeles. Countless important people and celebrities have eaten here over the years and you can really tell that the walls have seen a lot of history. As many other reviewers will mention this place is hard to beat in terms of atmosphere. It’s located inside the classy Beverly Hills Hotel in beautiful Beverly Hills. It’s formal but more business casual, and the sort of place that would be really fun to bring a date. It is very lively and not the sort of place for kids as they have a full service bar and lots of people dressing up, chatting, and is almost high energy. It’s very large on the inside and designed well in a classic California style. There are many different seating sections such as the bar area, the main dining room (which is my favorite), and outdoor seating. There is no self parking available so it will be valet parking for $22. The initial charge is $25 but if you get your ticket validated it drops it to $22. Our waitress was very polite and everything that we ordered came out pretty fast. The only downside to this restaurant is the exorbitant pricing. Everything here is priced more than you will pay even in coastal Santa Monica. That being said it’s very hard to budget a meal here and is best used for a place to celebrate or just grab a few drinks. There are many famous dishes here and it’s always hard to choose what to order. For this visit, we started with the Tortilla Soup and the McCarthy Salad. The Tortilla Soup was very good, almost had a roasted flavor to it, but I enjoyed it very much. The McCarthy Salad is also very famous and is definitely one of the best chop salads that I’ve ever had. I think it’s probably the third most famous salad from Los Angeles after the Cobb and the La Scala Chopped. For my entrée, I chose the Branzino Fillet Unilateral accompanied with fregola sarda, roasted heirloom cherry tomatoes, zante currants, pine nuts, lemon caper sauce. I honestly really enjoyed it and thought it was a good sized portion. It was a large fillet, had great flavors, and was cooked perfectly. Finally for dessert I ordered their famous Soufflé and I decided to do a chocolate and vanilla combination, which I would highly recommend. It’s honestly one of the best Soufflés that I’ve ever had. Everything about this place is amazing except the pricing. I would recommend to anyone searching for a special occasion lunch or dinner spot and obviously to anyone who is staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel. It’s not the sort of place to go if you have a tight budget, but I believe that everyone should dine at this place at least once.

My mom and I had breakfast and dinner here on our recent trip to California. We had reservations so that part of it was easy. We did breakfast on a Friday morning at 8am, it was a very nice and quiet affair. We had a booth inside, very comfortable and well kept restaurant overall. Service was fantastic, very attentive and helpful. My mom got the eggs Benedict which she said was amazing. I got the two egg breakfast with toast, bacon, and hashbrowns. It was a very standard egg breakfast, nothing bad nothing outstanding. When we went for dinner, (Sunday at 6:45) my mom did the Branzino which she didn’t love. It was a super small piece of fish and the Israeli couscous came with dried currants which she didn’t care for but that was personal preference. I got the rigatoni bolognese which was fine. The pasta was al dente which I liked, the sauce was good but again, nothing super outstanding pretty standard. The fries however were fantastic, we were so glad we got them. The bread basket was also really good. We had preordered the soufflé when we ordered dinner but we had to wait an unusually long time for it to come out after our plates were cleared. The chocolate soufflé was good, but there was so much of it! The service was good as well but our server seemed a bit out to lunch. We finished all our food and the table was bussed by another staff member and our waitress just never came back. We were sitting and waiting, ready to go, with our waitress nowhere in sight or in another part of the restaurant for so long that the manager came over to thank us for dining with them but they needed the table so it would be great if we could leave. He was very nice about it and we told him we were just waiting for the check and we were beyond ready to leave! Our waitress finally made her way back over and she seemed in no rush. We told her we just needed the check and then we saw the manager say something to her, again no rush at all. We noticed this seemed to be a common occurrence on our trip so maybe it’s just a California thing. Parking is valet, $22 validated, $25 if not, which seems kind of pointless. The valets were so nice though! Overall, it was a very fun experience to eat there and experience that small part of the famous hotel but we don’t need to go back now that we’ve checked it off our list! I definitely recommend going for breakfast over dinner.

We thoroughly enjoyed our pizza, salad, and appetizers and dessert. The food was delicious and worth every penny. We’ll definitely be returning for more. The outdoor seating was okay, with nice decor, but it still seemed like an improvised setup from the COVID era. Next time, we’d prefer to sit inside.

They made it look good. 1/5 Overall this place is so overpriced … nothing special . If you can’t perfect the basics like bread and cream what are they doing? My bf and I go out often and try new places. We are used to splurging. However, this place overpricing pizza and throwing some pistachios on a cannoli? If you want a pretty environment and don’t care about pizza then go here.

Stopped by for an early dinner. I would recommend making a reservation, as it seems like the place can get busy, and it was easy enough to make. We shared one appetizer (Stuffed zucchini blossoms), one pizza (Margherita) and one pasta dish (Vodka pasta). This was a good amount for 2 of us. The zucchini flowers were heavily breaded and very crispy with a cheesy interior, flavorful and nice contrast in textures. The pizza is exactly what you would expect from a good Margherita pizza, crispy glutenous crust, solid tomato sauce that was a little sweet, and high quality mozzarella cheese. The pasta was served casserole style and was baked. There were some crispy pieces and that was just fine for us. A little on the pricier side, but not bad.

Pretty place, high quality ingredients. Meat lovers pizza was amazing. Mushroom kind of meh. Had a rich mushroom and cheese flavor but was dry and lacked acidity. I guess I need a tomato sauce on my pizza. As other reviews mentioned, the tricolate salad was solid. Strong flavor of qnchovy and cheese, but I like that!

As a vegan restaurant, this is one of the finest in the area within a 10-mile radius. The food was flavorful and well-prepared, though I would love to see more potato-based dishes on the menu. The entire team was incredibly helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place!

My wife and I went here for lunch. Gracias Madre is a vegan restaurant with a beautiful outdoor patio and a great vibe. The staff were warm and friendly, and the ambience really stood out. We started with chips & salsa and the ceviche, followed by the taco trio (jackfruit, mushroom, and soyrizo) and the ranchero bowl. The food was just average — decent but not something I’d come back for. Overall, it’s a nice place for the setting and service, but the flavors didn’t quite hit the mark.

My husband and I came here to compensate for the cancelled festival at Vegandale, but let me say that this was WAY better for sure. Right from the start, everyone greeted us with a friendly and formal demeanor. The server let us know that everything on the menu was vegan, so I got the crepes which were filled with hazlenut chocolate spread, strawberries, and bananas with a small side of coconut whip. I also got the crispy herb potatos. My husband got a torta with mushroom oysters and a complimentary side of garlic and chipotle aioli. We shared an horchata drink and churros for dessert. Our total was 70 bucks but we felt it was a fair price for the quality of flavor and service we received. Everything completely blew my mind and it was all so savory and filling. I'm definitely planning to come back and even have plans of bringing my family and friends.

This is a delectable vegan Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is very inviting and a great place to hang out with friends and family. The service is excellent and the servers are very attentive. As for the food, it’s overall stellar. I only have a few pictures of all the foods that I’ve tried but I’ve been here so many times because it’s just that good. My favorite starter is the Queso Fundido. It’s a nice cheesy dip and has a little zing to it. I typically like to order the Oaxaca bowl as it’s a great combination of things with an extra crunch from the tortilla chips. On weekends for brunch, Crepes and French toast are great choices. They hit that sweet spot but don’t go crazy on it. A few points of critique are that I wish dishes with tortillas would have the option to be swapped with bolillo or have that as an option for an add on. I also think giving adding bolillos would be a great addition for expanding the menu. I would also personally not order the Sweet Potato Flautas (too sweet for me) or the Gracias Burger (taste is like a veggie/bean burger). My overall experience has been nothing short than tasty and I hope to keep trying new things at Gracias Madre.

VEGAN restaurant - great experience and wide menu’s offers!! We came for dinner, I was surprised about the mix with the Mexican flavours (in a positive way!). All the dishes we tried were delicious, the Burrito was huge, and the desserts were spectacular, I suggest the Tiramisu and the 3 leche cake 🙌🏽 The outdoor space has a great vibe! The setting at this place is absolutely amazing — charming, stylish, and full of character. The interior vibe is warm and inviting, and the outdoor patio is just as lovely. The staff were incredible: friendly, attentive, and welcoming. While I didn’t enjoy the vegan tacos, everything else about the experience made it a spot I’d still recommend, especially for the ambiance.

I have been missing the Dianne salad with zucchini bread since 2010 (last time I visited Cali) it was a meal I always enjoyed at Green Street (born and raised there) I don't know why I waited so long, but I finally ordered the Dianne dressing and zucchini bread for shipment, all the way to Ohio. I work in the industry and had it shipped to my place of employment. I shared the bread with my team (toasted it a bit and added fresh butter) and oh my!!!!! All the feel goods of this comfort food was apparent on everyone's face. I'm only sad I ordered one loaf. I won't be making that mistake next time! It tastes like they made it today! I'm so thankful y'all ship this amazing dressing and bread. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! If any one of you from Green Street ever make it out here to Ohio, come see us at CCF! The Green street Cobb never disappoints! The zucchini bread is a must have and my wife and daughter like the salmon. We typically make a trip from Riverside here every so often just because the salads are always a standout and place has good vibes

What a local gem! You can't go wrong with anything on their menu, but the Cornucopia and Beet, Goat Cheese, and Arugula salads are two of my favorites! The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, with a really nice outdoor patio area. The manager, Alex, took good care of me during my recent lunch visit. Can't wait to go back!

We had great food and excellent service for lunch here today. Green street is known for its Dianne Salad. Every time we come here, the salad is always part of our order. Besides the salad, they have amazing food. For two of us, we got a luncheon Dianne salad and steak. The steak was delectable. It was perfectly cooked to medium just as we asked for and the flavor was amazing. I just love the grilled taste of the meat. It was also very juicy and tender. The price was very reasonable. The service here was impeccable. Our waiter wasted no time to get us drinks and brought out the delicious complimentary zucchini bread for us. When we found a bone in our salad, he was quick to took up the issue with the manage and gave us a loaf of zucchini bread to compensate us. At the end of our lunch, he got us a tropical ice tea on a to go cup for us to take it on the road, very thoughtful. Now that’s what I call excellent service!

It's been years since dinning at Green Street Restaurant. (It was actually on Green Street back then.) Note: The restaurant is on a small street and a little difficult to see the restaurant sign. It is next door to a multi-level parking structure. I had the KALE Dianne Salad. The flavor was exactly how I remembered. (Delicious) The standard serving size was massive. (There is a smaller size option.) The Kale was tender. I took home the remaining salad, which my wife and daughter shared. If you're not a fan of kale, get the original Dianne salad. The Zucchini bread was excellent.

My girls said it’s “MUST-GO” place in La. We ended up going there two consecutive days! So many menu options and great food. We loved pizza, matcha latte, green smoothie, cheese danish and croissant donut. We came back with my friends and had a wonderful time here. Line is long but they move fast and the food runner will bring the food to your table. Very well run establishment with beautiful ambiance great food.

Loved the coffee! Low-acid and hand-selected, so I grabbed a couple of pounds to go. The atmosphere feels authentic, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff is very welcoming. Also picked up a pecan pie and a pumpkin pie—both were delicious! I’m usually not a fan of pumpkin pie, but I really enjoyed this one.

Long time diner here, first time leaving a review. The aloha blended drink is so good, I had to give you a 5 star review. If you ever remove this drink from the menu, I I swear will come back and give you a 1 star review. P.s the service is excellent, love every single staff here, super professional and kind.

This is a diamond in the rough. Extremely nice restaurant in a not so great neighborhood. Good police presence was reassuring. Great food and drink selection, great service great atmosphere. Would definitely return.

Edit: The drink was the Honey Vanilla Latte. I like the other location in Pasadena better. Ordered the same drink but this location had no flavor. Staff is nice, the vibe is chill and the outdoor had heat lamps. Would give it another shot but I prefer Pasadena. Overall 4.9/10

The staff was nice and patient as I was deciding what to get for food. Was recommended the sunrise pizza, chocolate hazelnut cake, and their green juice. Although it was a lot of food, it wasn't heavy. Everything was delicious.

Cafe Gratitude is such a cute restaurant to eat at with a delicious vegan menu that comes with a twist.. cute names that all include gratitude titles for the food items. They also have a question of the day they ask all the guest. Our question was what are you most thankful for today. It was really great because it allowed each of us to stop and think about it and evaluate our day to see what meant the most to us. For me, I was visiting my daughter from out of town, so I was most thankful for the time with her and her family. On to the food, we had several appetizers highly recommended I am Caring aka loaded nachos.. these were very flavorful and good but just a little sloppy, the chips on the bottom got soggy... thankfully it still tasted so good we didn't care and ate it anyway. We also had I am Eclectic - crispy cauliflower, this was good also, My entree was a Caesar wrap with. Side of roasted yams. It was very, very good. I would absolutely get this again. I will go back here the next time I'm in Cali and see what else I can be grateful for!

Love this place. So many options from healthy to hitting the spot with something special. The crunch wrap was absolutely delicious and my favorite dish. We went to this location and the other location near Santa Monica pier. Plenty of delicious drinks, fresh juices and fresh and whole food options that have titles and ingredients that make you feel good! 🤗 I would frequent this place if I lived nearby.

Cafe Gratitude is not only the best vegan food on this side of LA, but some of the best food in general on this side of LA. Absolutely worth the stop. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted to pleasant smiles and a welcoming vibe. The staff members out on the floor stop momentarily to provide a pleasant greeting, giving a welcoming vibe that flows into the rest of your dining experience. One of the highlights of the interior seating is a long bench seat with several large throw pillows. This accommodates seating for four tables with group tables on either end and single tables in the middle. This feels very on brand and helps push the home-y, comfort feelings that you experience as you dive into the menu and the food. There are also other seating options inside, as well as an outdoor shaded patio, and smaller tables along the exterior of building by the main door. The menu is vast, with so many options to choose from throughout the day. The theme feels like comfort food sans the guilt, with options like French toast, omelettes, and breakfast burritos on their breakfast menu (served til 1pm), and items like pesto pasta, crunch wraps, and so much more on their regular menu. Each item is titled with a cute, short affirmation, which I loved. They had amazing lattes and their homemade hot chocolate is to die for. My partner and I returned three times in the week we stayed in LA, not for lack of options. But because every time we scrolled through the list of places to go, none of them topped our experiences at Cafe Gratitude. Everything about the restaurant feels like it's meant to promote conversation and to get back to what it means to go out to eat. So often, we go out and feel rushed through our meals. We sit down, and in minutes we're being given food and pushed out the door with the check. At Cafe Gratitude, it didn't feel that way at all. The waiters took their time (not in a negative way), the food takes time to prepare, no one is hovering over your shoulder, and when you take someone - it feels like you have the time to enjoy the company and talk and relax while you wait an appropriate amount of time for things to progress. With that being said, this is not the place for someone who is looking to get in and get out (though they do offer takeout). Cafe Gratitude is for people looking to unwind during a meal, to take their time to enjoy the space and the company that comes with going out to eat, and to take in the environment and atmosphere provided.

I order here all the time. Two days ago I ordered delivery on grub hub. I received my order and my driver told me that he had to go back to the store because they called him and told him it was the wrong order okay no big deal. However, upon seeing the order I noticed one of the pizza boxes open and an entire slice missing the other pizza I ordered was completely folded over. Okay fine. I still decided to eat the in tact but folded pizza because my 84 year gma and I were hungry then this: bit into what appears to be a needle thin 5-6 inch wire! This has never happened to me and I am not one to complain even if the meal is subpar I’m very understanding. In this case I’m not this could have seriously injured my grandma and I don’t play about her especially because she has dementia and may get confused and eat whatever she’s given even if it’s a wire! The part that is most upsetting is that grub hub refunded me partially for the pizzas and not my entire order because “it’s policy” yet how was I supposed to eat the rest of the meal. How am I to know this wasn’t a disgruntled employee who decided to do more stuff with the rest of the meal. How do I know this came from the restaurant? the wire was completely covered with the truffle mushroom, only scrapping it off revealed the wire. The worst part was that I can’t get into contact with anyone from cafe gratitude the phone number does not allow you to talk to anyone. I reached out through the “questions” box on their website to no avail or response. This is a huge health concern and my next step would be to file a complaint with the health department as I am genuinely concerned this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Very disappointed as I really enjoyed the food here and ordered regularly. I feel this could have been made into a better situation had I had someone to reach out to. But this feels like evasion and being ignored.

Real cool, trendy spot. Definitely got that hip vibe goin’ on. I had the nachos—insane. Way better than I thought they’d be, totally worth the money. Also tried the Enlightened Protein Bowl—solid, not bad. We grabbed the tahini cookie too—kinda like a peanut butter cookie. It was alright, nothing crazy. Same with the “I Am Centered” sweet potato brownie—meh. Tasted fine, but it was tiny for the price. Overall, good spot with some hits and a couple misses. I'd come back for those nachos though, no question.

I also noticed the burgers looked delicious, and the menu overall is quite extensive almost difficult to choose from. The atmosphere inside was stylish, welcoming, and comfortable, with a great terrace area as well. It’s a place I would recommend whether you’re dining with family, friends, or even on your own, and I’m already looking forward to coming back to try more dishes next time.

I usually don’t write reviews, but my experience at Café Gratitude was disappointing. I ordered a bowl that cost around $20, which I found overpriced for the quality and it wasn’t enjoyable. I didn’t feel worth it. But it was healthy but the avocado was unripe. Because of that, I decided not to leave a tip. To my surprise, the waiter confronted me and actually demanded a tip. In Spanish he told me, “órale we, no te vayas a volver más pobre” (“come on dude, you’re not going to end up poorer”), which I found completely unprofessional and rude. A restaurant like Café Gratitude should never make customers feel pressured or insulted for not tipping, especially when the food doesn’t meet expectations. I left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed, and I don’t think I’ll be returning.

This could've been a 5 stars but the service was a bit interesting. I'll start with the positives though. Phenomenal food!! The Chickpea Curry, the Mapo tofu and the Kaya Toast were all very delicious. Everything was bursting with flavor, was spiced correctly and just felt so homey. Honestly, everyone should eat here because the food is that good. Where things were lacking though was the service. It seemed like we were being rushed and there was so much space still available. I do have to say, it wasn't as pricy as we thought it was going to be either which was a nice plus.

If you like big, bold, spicy flavors, this is the place to visit! From the Singaporean Chili Crab to the Spicy Minced Duck Dan Dan Noodles, the dishes felt like an endless explosion of spices. And yes, the chef brings the heat. We also had the Crawfish Toast which was sweet and savory and the Kon Loh Mee which had a great, smoked char siu mixed in. Overall a great meal and probably the best I've had in LA. Definitely worth a visit if you like spices!

The food is so good. The Sunbathing Prawns are super spicy and is served cold. It is good spicy tho. The beef and half chicken are also good. It is pricey but I think it is worth visiting. We ordered for 2 and it is around $250-$300

So good, can’t wait to go back and experience this again plus try different dishes. Definitely make a reservation. Parking - it’s LA so you’re either doing street parking or valet. I think it was $12 to valet. Service was good, food was quick, go with friends/family so you can try more things. The prawns are a must, heads up they have a spicy kick, but the lime really helps even out the flavors. The scallop dish is something I’d order again, very light, refreshing, flavors were delicious, great balance. The naan and curry with the fresh herbs was so comforting, wish there was more naan on the plate. Kaya toast, we actually ordered 2, that’s how good it was, wish it had a smidge more of the soy sauce but something everyone should experience. Water spinach was okay.. next time I’m getting the Chinese broccoli for sure. The chicken dish was a favorite, 100% getting this any time I come here, the sauce was lick the plate worthy, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Honestly it’s 1 of 2 chicken dishes I’ve ever eaten that I would recommend to people to order. The kon loh mee would be a pass for me, it was just okay. Both desserts were good. The coconut sorbet was creamy and I liked the hint of cinnamon and we loved the crunchy coconut. The Vietnamese coffee pudding was awesome with legit coffee flavors. I saw pics on their IG of the pudding with cookies, ours didn’t come with any, but it should’ve because it would’ve been a nice texture contrast to the pudding. Overall dining experience for the $$$ = totally worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the dining atmosphere.

Yep yep yep, this is the place for my stomach and taste buds to live out their most delicious secret fantasies. We ordered the chickpea curry, the sunbathing prawns, the Dan Dan noodles, the beef rendang and the pork belly noodles. The chickpea curry was my favorite, and the Dan Dan noodles a very close second. The sunbathing prawns were unlike anything I’d ever tasted. Incredible. Truly. Everything was perfect. I foresee us coming back in the near future. Nicole provided such a wonderful experience for us and we loved the smoky old fashioned she created. Thank you so much for a truly special evening.

Everything was pretty good except papaya salad and the noodles. I wish papaya salad was cut in smaller and had more flavors and ingredients, smaller portions. Taste wasn’t so good. Also I wanted noodle to be more harder. It was too soft. Their curry and pita bread was amazing, spicy wontons were good, and seafood platters were great too.

What an awesome experience any foodie would enjoy! The service was friendly and responsive. The food even better. Healthy shareable size portions of meticulously prepared Southeast Asian inspired cuisine. Don't skip the spicy wontons. Homemade and fresh that serve up just enough spice to make your lips and tongue tingle while making it hard to stop enjoying their deliciousness. The spicy crawfish also deliver on their promise of spicy but again not over powering the sense of taste. The noodles have that awesome snap and chew while not creating a jaw exercise. Our final dish was the lemongrass chicken fried rice, also a good dish, while lacking the fire power of the first two courses. Next visit I am going for the spicy lamb, which I heard is also one of their best dishes. Parking in SanMo can be a challenge when there isn't a parking deck close by, but I found 3 hour parking right in front of the restaurant. It seemed very easy to locate parking in the area near the restaurant. Reservations are pretty much a must.

Wow! Excellent service, and the food was terrific. The bread and pasta tasted amazing; you can tell they are made fresh. I have to stop again to try the pizza, which looked amazing as well.

Really good food, we had burata salad with basil, tomato and peach very refreshing! For main course we shared pizza with for type of mushrums with some lemon dressing and cheese - great vegeterian option and we shared also Milanese chicken with arugula and cheese! You can check the potis as well, dish looks very good and taste excelent!

While walking around Santa Monica, I came across a charming little restaurant and decided to stop in for lunch. The atmosphere was casual yet inviting, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Since there were just two of us, we chose seats at the counter, where we could watch the chefs preparing the dishes right in front of us. It was enjoyable to see everything made fresh, from the dough being stretched to the toppings being carefully placed and the pizzas going straight into the oven. There were also plenty of table seats available, and the restaurant wasn’t overly crowded, so it felt relaxed and comfortable. I would describe it as the kind of place you can easily drop by without feeling too formal. The menu had more variety than I expected, with a nice selection of wines to pair with pizza, along with coffee, tea, juices, and even mocktails, which made it stand out compared to many casual restaurants. One of my favorites was the prosciutto and melon plate the balance of sweetness and saltiness was excellent and left a lasting impression. For the main dish, we ordered a pizza topped with tomato, burrata, prosciutto, and arugula. The crust was freshly baked, the flavors were well-balanced, and the portion was generous. Although we went for lunch, I would love to return for dinner to try more of their dishes. The staff gave us thoughtful recommendations and made the experience even more pleasant. While there wasn’t an outdoor terrace, the space still felt welcoming for both adults and families. Overall, I truly enjoyed both the food and drinks, and I would happily visit again in the future.

Came here since this restaurant still had a reservation available on Saturday night on relatively short notice. Food is completely fine. Not bad, not great. For my taste the pizza, which had a great dough, had way too much tomato sauce. The garlic knot was very hard and had full cloves of garlic inside, which looks nice on instagram but doesn’t necessarily contribute positively to the taste. The Tagliatelle Bolognese was completely fine (typical American Italian interpretation), the chicken parm was also ok. Tiramisu and cocktails were probably the best items on the menu.

For someone with a light taste in food, the pizza and garlic knot were still pretty bland. Great service & atmosphere though.

Milo & Olive has become one of our favorite go-to spots in Santa Monica for simple, delicious Italian food. The menu is straightforward but consistently tasty, and the quality keeps us coming back. Our must-haves every single visit are the chopped salad and the baked garlic knot—both are absolute standouts and set the tone for the meal. The mushroom pizza is hands-down our favorite and usually our order, but on our most recent trip we decided to branch out and try the vegetable pizza. It was still good, though we felt it could have used just a touch more flavor compared to the mushroom. The pastas are always solid as well—fresh, comforting, and flavorful. The service here is consistently good, and the staff make the experience feel easy and welcoming. The space itself has a nice, relaxed vibe, perfect for casual dinners with friends or family. You can’t go wrong coming here any day of the week. Prices are on the higher side, but not crazy. Overall, Milo & Olive never disappoints. Even with a few minor preferences, it’s a place we’ll keep coming back to time and again. Highly recommend!

The food was OUTSTANDING- but that’s not even the best thing about this place. My husband and I sat at the counter and got to watch the chefs make their dishes. It felt like being inside of a beehive- everyone worked so diligently and as a team. The head chef (I think 🤔- never worked in the food industry so I’m making an assumption) made sure things were getting done and I just kept hearing “thank you chef” every time an order came up. It was an INCREDIBLE experience and I could have watched it all night. Super impressive! Hats off to the entire staff there! I’ll be sure to come back next time I’m in town. Also, The added 4% to the bill for the health insurance for the employees…. I was more than happy to pay that. Hard-working people deserve insurance and I would never have a problem making sure that your people are taken care of.

It was our first time here at Chinchin, and we were absolutely delighted with both the food and the service. We’ll definitely be coming back and look forward to seeing you all more often! Been coming here for 20 years, and it’s still amazing. Our most recent visit, there was a whole new menu and everything was delicious! Cam was our server, and he was incredible! So thorough in explaining the menu, his recommendations were spot on, and he just went above and beyond!

My friends and family have had such wonderful experiences at Chin Chin in West Hollywood! So glad we were all able to come before they sadly closed it. This was my first experience here and it was absolutely phenomenal. Each bite was unbelievably savory and delicious. My server Cam was unbelievably helpful and made the best recommendations. Truly making my experience that much more enjoyable. I really greatly enjoyed my dinner here! Very happy I got to try this place once and for all!

The pizza is good just not exceptional. Salad was also good if you ignore the price. Pasta was meh. But they gave us free dessert because they were closing down and I like the cinnamon cookies! Chocolate chip was too salty for me.

What a vibe at Jon and Vinny’s on Fairfax! I strolled in on a Tuesday night without a reservation and ended up waiting about an hour for a table—not too shabby. They offered me a little sneak peek at the wine bar in the back, which was pretty cool, and the selection of bottles was definitely impressive. Once I finally got seated at the bar, our server, David, suggested the ham pizza. Now, I might be getting the name wrong, but it was the only one with vodka sauce, and let me tell you—it was out of this world! I’d come back just for that pizza alone. I didn’t snap a photo, but trust me, it was worth it. We also indulged in the meatballs, which were just as delicious. The vibes were electric—definitely the perfect spot for a first date. You might just find me back here again, craving that pizza!

I went to Jon & Vinny’s with my husband on a weekday and luckily got bar seating with just a short wait. The food was excellent. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. Our server never came back after taking our order, and when we asked for the honey we had already ordered, it never arrived. We ended up asking the person who dropped off our food, and they literally tossed the honey onto our table, which felt very unprofessional and unwelcome here. The server only checked in with us once we had already finished eating. The food makes me want to return, but the customer service definitely needs improvement.

You cannot go wrong. Breakfast, lunch and dinner always amazing. Always have breakfast and a dinner when I visit LA and they never disappoint. Consistent good service and great food. I just wish they would expand overseas!

We got the corn pasta I don’t love corn pasta but my boo loved it so much he started asking the chef where he learned how to cook🤣 service was great she knew the menu and barely a wait. I recently discovered a restaurant that I absolutely loved, and I regret not finding it sooner. The space is cozy and not too large, creating a pleasant vibe that makes you feel at ease. The overall taste of the food was impressively balanced. I was particularly captivated by the subtle sweetness of the langoustine pasta and the agnolotti pasta with corn, both of which were delightful. The grilled langoustine, a personal favorite of mine, was also excellent, though the slightly burnt taste on the surface was a minor letdown. Additionally, it was a bit disappointing that two of the Chardonnay wines I ordered were out of stock, but I was glad to discover a new favorite, an Italian wine called Dreams, which turned out to be an excellent choice. Although the location is a bit far from Santa Monica, I’d love to return whenever there’s a special occasion. Even after getting home, I kept thinking about how good the pasta was.

Overall it is a great place, but I would not go back and would only recommend to someone if they are ok with big flavor, but small portions. It’s a small fine dining Italian restaurant across the street from the beach with dim lighting and delicious food. The pasta dishes and tiramisu were fantastic. Fresh pasta and house made tiramisu. No issues at all with quality or flavor because that was all there. My issue(like a few of the other reviews I read) is with their comically small portion sizes. I left hungry after spending $100 on 2 pasta dishes, tiramisu, and a $12 drink. If I’m paying $30 for a plate of pasta with no protein in it, then I expect to get a decent amount of pasta. The plate doesn’t even look complete because there’s not enough sauce to cover the bottom.

Their takeout always hits. Love the spinach pasta made in-house with meat sauce and their Amatriciana ! The tomato and pork is so flavorful. Price point is not at actually at all “through the roof” for LA …

The food was delicious, however the portion size is awfully small. I was a bit hungry afterwards and I don’t have a huge appetite. The service was just ok, we felt that our server was a bit dismissive, but we still left overall satisfied. Would come back.

Highly recommended by a local, we gave it a try while visiting Santa Monica. Atmosphere is charming and service is very good. The food was good to great - entree dependent. The Tortelli di Zucca was perfect - wonderful combination of flavors topped with crisped sage leaves. The NY strip was a very good cut of meat, perfectly cooked, but seemed completely unseasoned. I'd return to explore more of their menu.

While the appetizers (fried zucchini flowers and fish carpaccio) lacked strong flavors and were just okay, the main dishes knocked out it of the ballpark. The gnocchi with a gorgonzola sauce was absolutely divine. Service was very good.

Absolutely one of my favorite finds on my trip. The ambiance is charming, the customer service is incredible, and the food is so flavorful and fresh and makes me feel good, healthy, and satisfied. I can't wait to make this a regular spot when I come visit for work. HIGHLY recommend the beet salad and add steak. The bread pudding is also very very good

We went for a dinner and were very happy with our choice. We had a Greek salad and a steak with asparagus. Both dishes were amazing—fresh ingredients, delicious taste, and the steak was perfectly cooked. The service was also fantastic. The waiter was very accommodating and friendly, and he helped us with our order. The prices were fair for the quality of the food and service we received. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would highly recommend this place.

We ordered the Fresh Corn Salad and Southwestern Salad with chicken as our protein. It took a while for our orders to come to our table however it was worth the wait. The salads are huge, so we would recommend coming with a full appetite! Very delicious!

It’s easy to pass by this place given its location and inconspicuous exterior but it’s well worth a stop for a healthy lunch. I definitely recommend the corn (hence the name) but the side dish was actually my favorite. Also the soups and salads are light and have a ton of flavor

If you follow me you know I’m all about flavor. Let’s just say this dish, the Ginger Chicken Salad, is for those who are flavor averse. It was bland but sounded like the flavor mix would be great! Nope! It was a bunch of cabbage with a few sprigs of greens and a few pieces of chicken sprinkled in. I also had the salted caramel babka roll, which was nice but didn’t taste like salted caramel. The Valrhona Mocha Latte was smooth and had a distinct chocolate taste. I liked it. The patio is lovely and the staff is friendly and helpful. I’m always torn about tipping for counter service but I did. I asked the cashier for his thoughts on the salad and asked the busser for a box. I would not return.

I have been eating here multiple times a week for the past month plus and this place is awesome. I don’t love counter only service, but it works as a mostly coffee and pastry stop plus they have a lovely large front patio if you stay. All of the pastries are to die for, amazing Stumptown coffee, I love the salmon toast and the pork belly hash- wouldn’t get the chilaquiles again. All in all great place! Try the chocolate banana bread and the chop salad!

Beautiful bright atmosphere. I had Almond French toasts and eggs Benedict’s. Both of them were really good! they were very tasty and not too heavy like a lot of other brunch places are. But coffee was also good.

Get ready, set, go! Their staff is waiting to deliver proficiently. Amazing service, i’m impressed. Food is great. Food made from scratch, as well as baked goods are made in house. Clean and efficient. Every item is delivered in a tray, as it should be. Buckets with sanitizer placed around the place, making sure no table is dirty at any time. Their brunch special items are another level. Simple, and straight forward. I had the best egg benedicts in LA, by far. House-made english muffin, crispy porkbelly, and hollandaise sauce. Their flourless lemon thyme custard cake was extremely stunning. Limenade, and honey rosemary latte were beautifully crafted. BRAVO!

Very fresh simplistic food and drinks with flavor that is more than simple. I had pancakes and home potatoes and a delicious juice and my auntie had turkey sandwich and a delicious juice and we were both very pleased. Its a calm cafe environment inside and out for work, meetings, Interviews, meet ups or just solo. Works for all.

Such a cute space! Outdoor seating area and indoors. Service was friendly and quick. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We had the specials of the day. Side note parking in that area is a pain...street parking if you can find a spot....but definitely worth it :)

Was exited to eat Greek food since it was our go to when we lived near Greek town in Chicago. The lamb shank was ok, the meat was not fall of the bone soft. The pasta was disappointing. Lacked flavour, sauce was watery, meatball was dry and pasta seemed it was rinsed in water since it didn’t hold any sauce.

Average Greek, at best--bordering on Mediocre Greek. Went for lunch, it was greasy and heavy in a way that stuck with me the rest of the day. The dolma was good though. Should have tried something other than the sampler but I've heard the gyro isn't great either?! I know it's a hard time for restaurants and hesitated to write this review but I really wish this place was better so I wasn't stuck driving to Malibu for "great" Greek or friggin Baker for mad great gyros!

The atmosphere is good and they have live musicians that sound great. While the food left something to be desired for us (we had just come from an actual Greek vacation so had food experiences to compare it to), that may be because of different regional specialties? Our waiter had a large table to attend to so could not provide us with the timely service we expect.

Its really good to dine in here specially for family. Friendly environment plus the staff are very nice too. The french fries,roast lamb is really good with their fresh salads with martini and our deserts are all delicious. Setting’s of the table is one thing they overlooked ;we need to asked additional napkins and utensils, but they were given it quickly.

It's been a while since we ate at this restaurant. Today we came for lunch on my birthday and we're glad we came back because we never realized how much we missed the good food this place have to offer. Service is always professional and friendly, ambience is good. But the food here is always good. I ordered my favorite Oven roasted lamb and it's still as good as I can remember. I even got a dessert with a birthday candle. How sweet.

Dinner experience last night May 13. There’s nothing better than feeling right at home the moment you walk in a restaurant, especially when it’s your first time! My server was extremely knowledgeable about the food and made some great recommendations! I stopped in since I was craving some Greek/Mediterranean food and stopped at the first place that popped up on Google maps and stopped here since it was on my way home. I didn’t read any reviews or info on the place so I was honestly expecting to make an order in a small place and take it home. I ended up dining in and even having a drink! Customer service along with an amazing customer experience is something I thought was lost after 2020, but this place is definitely a gem amongst a bunch below average experiences at other venues in the hospitality and restaurant industry. Instead of me going home with a 1 item order, I dined in and ordered an appetizer, main dish, and a drink! This was also after 9pm end of day when a lot of places begin to wind down and service typically goes down a bit due to staff being tired, but not my experience here! Top notch service and understanding the importance of customer service is key and I wish there was more of this! Thanks to the owners who I’m sure treat their people right and cheers to my server Celia (hope the spelling is correct).

A place with great vibe and good food. The rice pilaf in vegetarian platter was so dang flavorful. Absolute loved it. The live music is such a show stealer. Do give this place a try if in the area.

I came to Tesse to meet up with a friend and it just happened to be Dine LA week. For the prices, I felt that they offered a good variety and good amount of dishes to make sure you left full, at least for 2 people. Not a cheap place so it was nice to actually get a full meal. Not sure how it would have worked out if we had a larger party being that you get one smallish salad and 2 pastries. The food was very good. For DineLA, the table gets the Morning Baked Pastries (1 muffin & 1 croissant) AND the Little Gem salad AND their Our Famous Gluten-Free Oat Pancakes. Then each person chooses one of the main courses which in our case was their Short Rib Hash and Tesse Burger. We did not try the muffin or the croissant but I did take it home and my sister said it was average. As for the salad, it looked way over dressed but it wasn't so bad when I actually tried it. The dressing was mild so it was good. I really enjoyed their pancakes. If you have any hesitations about the gluten-free or oats, I would say still try them. They were good and would definitely order them again. I enjoyed the Short Rib Hash. It was basically a deconstructed hash, layered with scrambled eggs, short ribs, crispy potatoes, and caramelized onions and peppers. I felt that the short rib could have been flavored more, but eating with the caramelized onions helped. The potatoes were fantastic. So crispy and not burnt. The burger visually looked very plain and boring but it was surprisingly really good. It was on the small side though. I did feel that the DineLA menu was a bit confusing in that the food options were a bit scattered and random, especially in the order that they were served. The service was great. It was not very busy so perhaps that helped but the staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall, I would come back again....I just need to be prepared a little extra since once again it is not a cheap place.

We recently went to Tesse and tried their DineLA menu which was $55 per person for dinner. We ordered a couple of blue cheese martini's which were quite small for $32 each and took forever to come out because they were short-staffed that evening. I can't even imagine how small the martini on their specialty menu is which was described as "tiny" and even smaller than the ones we got. For the 1st course we got the poblano beignets which came with 4 absolutely delicious pieces. 10/10. For the 2nd course we got the beef tartare which was also amazing. It was a small portion but still a satisfying amount. It came covered in potato chips which we used to scoop it up. 10/10 The 3rd course was the bone marrow bucatini which would have been much tastier if it came out warm but it didn't. I can tell it would have been pretty tasty though but the coldness kind of killed it. 7/10. The 4th course was black cod which was pretty bland and disappointing. It was a bit soupy and came with summer squash and zucchini which was also boring, 2/10. We got the duck fat fries as the side which were nothing special. They would have been better if they were crispier, 7/10. We love onion rings and though these were not part of the DineLA menu we decided to order them and they did not disappoint. They were battered exactly how we like them. 9/10. The desert was sticky toffee pudding which was, unfortunately, a let-down. The cake portion tasted burnt. The only thing that made it edible was the toffee syrup and scoop of ice cream but the scoop was too small. 5/10 Overall, I think this restaurant was overpriced for what we got. Maybe doing the DineLA menu was a mistake. The meal climaxed way too early. I don't think we would go back.

We had an absolutely incredible time during our first experience at Tesse! Wow! From the exceptional food to the epic service… we were totally blown away. It was one of the best meals we have ever had and will definitely be back. The all you can tesse experience was one for the books. Wow! Special shout out to Alicia, Blithe and Alexandra for amazing service. Highly recommend this incredible restaurant for any occasion.

This restaurant is so cute! It has a nice bar and mainly indoor seating. Beautifully designed restaurant, great for dates and social gatherings. The waiters and workers are very friendly and attentive. The drinks are beautifully made and very tasty. I love how all their dishes include some type of vegetation and infused with fruits. I would totally recommend getting the cauliflower, very zesty. I love how the salmon comes with a beet hummus. I really loved the Hamachi crudo, very fresh and well made. The steak was well made and the duck fries are delicious. Overall great experience and would totally go back for more!

Went for Dine LA and very divided on this review. On one hand they gave large portions, maybe too large. The star of the meal was the short rib hash. Slow cooked beef to pull apart tenderness, thin crispy hash, topped with a French porridge consistency of scrambled eggs. The pastries, soft fluffy mini chocolate croissants with a full size kind of dry croissant. The gem salad, salted to being inedible. The pancakes, large and a crispy brown outside but not quite as fluffy inside due to their thin structure. The burger had a soft bun, a juicy medium rare patty, a delicious but over salted tomato slice, and a slice of lettuce. The service is a bit deceiving on the server side, offering to get tap water but misleading with the word still water later but coming back with opened bottled water, charged at $10. The rest of the wait staff was great. The ambiance was casual and relaxed.

This is a chic, fancy place on the Sunset Strip. It's gonna cost you a pretty penny, so best to come slightly full because the portion is a bit small. I had the Black truffle linguine and it was like three bites, but it was a memorable one. Lucky I was a bit full. We had steak friet, branzino and hamichi ceviche and they were all amazing. I think my problem is the protion of the pasta, else it's food were delicious and fresh. Service was great and live music set the atmosphere. It's NYE so they have a limited menu, but understandable.

Delicious food and cocktails. We were impressed by the marrow pasta and all the cocktails we got. The service was great, and it was lovely talking to the sommelier lady. The atmosphere was great with live music that was just the right volume to create a romantic setting without being disruptive. The friendly host knew we had a show to attend after our dinner and even checked-in on us at some point to see if we were doing good on time.

I am petite, and I’m quite sensitive about the quality of my food. I really appreciate how simple and clean the dishes are, and although the portions are small, it’s the perfect amount to be satisfied. The ambience is really nice and cute. Plenty of seating when I came in on a Saturday morning. Parking is difficult if it’s a busy day. Street meter parking only. Service is fine.

the food was alright, pretty average brunchy fare. not particularly french despite the name. the bathroom was dirty and had no soap and an empty or non-functional paper towel dispenser.

I stopped by for a light brunch and really enjoyed the atmosphere — cozy, European-style and calm. I had the Avocado Toast ($17.35), and while a bit pricey, it was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Organic Dutch Mini-pancakes were soft, fruity, and not too sweet — a great treat with coffee. Service was friendly but a bit slow, possibly because it was a busy morning. Still, I’d come back for the food and the overall peaceful vibe. Perfect place to catch up with a friend or enjoy a quiet break.

I had no idea this place was this large and the food is fantastic. Tried the salmon tartine. It's like a face up sandwich with smoked salmon and bread. Very excellent stuff! Also had the Macha tea latte (dirty). Very strong and kept me up for a minute!

Caffe latte and almond butter chocolate croissant was phenomenal!! Very good, had to get 2 croissants! Great experience sitting outside. Kind staff. I love that it’s such wonderful staff. Little things like quality cups, lids, and sleeves really stand out to me. The tomato and avocado omelette is decent I think it needs a bit of salt but the salad is very delicious! I love this place :) prices are also decent in my opinion.

Panviman Thai Cuisine is a beautiful restaurant. The Thai spaghetti with Green Curry is pretty good. The chicken sate skewers were flavorful and juicy. The star of the lunch was the Mango Sticky Rice. The rice has a slight bite and chewiness to it with lots of sweet coconut syrup. The customer service is good and friendly.

I googled and thought this restaurant sounded good for a friend birthday celebration. The food was ok overall but not as good as I anticipated... some dishes were not as flavorful as they should. For example, Pad see ew didn't give me the smoky and depth satisfying flavors ... Chicken Satay was bland as well as other appetizers. The ribs were the most bland, no smoky or charred and spiced flavors. They were more like boiled and mopped with a red sauce then baked in oven... I never has a Laab before so I can't give a feedback other than pretty tangy. The hot stuff stirfry was good but nothing unique or win me over. Similarly with the Ruby curry. Btw, any non-starch dishes dont come automatically with a serving of steamed rice. It's $3.00 extra per serving. I wonder if anyone can eat a Ruby curry without rice or bread... 🤔 The cocktails were pretty good. The service was very good.

Food was not good. This was the 5th time and usually always good and service excellent. Not sure what happened. Soup was undercooked, mushrooms almost raw and very sour. Satay was ok. Service was atrocious. One star at best. No water refills. Staff was on their phones. One was on speaker phone. We didn’t get plates for the food. They didn’t clear the table of earlier dishes. They forgot we weee there to clear and bring the check. And we were downstairs, 15 ft away. Servers seemed annoyed. Bizarre.

My husband always finds the best places to eat. We had lunch at the Thai place and it was super delicious. The ambiance was great, the food was delicious and the service was good too. Stop by and eat some delicious Thai cuisine.

My 2nd time to give another chance after 7 years. Definately will be my last time. Reason is the food. Services and decors were great but I won't enjoy my meal if my food tasted salty to me.

Got to try this spot for the first time yesterday and it was amazing. Got their Thai iced green tea, one of the best I’ve had and many other food options. My favorite was definitely the panvimarn fried rice, panvimarn ribs and their Panang curry. The proteins for the pad Thai, and pad kee mao was also super tender and flavorful whether it was pork or chicken. Every dish was fantastic overall. They also give a ton of papaya salad. Super filling, will definitely come back!

Super cool interior, servers are chill and friendly. I'm a sucker for roast duck and the heavenly roasted duck definitely hit the spot. Delicious sauce and crispy skin, and surprisingly great value for the amount of food you're getting (depending on market price).

I am a regular at veggie grill. I must say that I really do love eating here, but am so tired of the inconsistency. Everytime I order It seems that my food is either a hit or miss. These past couple of times have unfortunately been misses, and I am hesitant to order again. The food items can be really delicious sometimes, but lately it seems like they are just sloppily throwing things together. My salad that I ordered looks nothing like the picture, its even missing some ingredients, and the presentation is horrible it doesn’t look or taste appetizing at all!. They also added some strange looking bread pieces and what looks like capers into it, which I’m sure was by accident because they were rushing. I just hope that they can find the motivation and passion to deliver high quality food. I don’t know if I will be eating here again until this happens! Also, for delivering the new smoothies, they don’t seal them with any type of safety. Everytime I get one, it looks like it has been tampered with. Please invest more into protecting your customers delivery orders.

ThisHollywood location is one of the two locations that I frequent the most. The staff is congenial, efficient and compassionate. Oh! And even though I haven't tried each item on the menu, I KNOW that it is just as yummy as what I choose. I usually always choose the Buddha Brunch Bowl with exta Tempeh Bacon!!! So Delish! Some say that I dine at this location as much as the Toluca Lake location, which may very well be true! I love VG!

I ordered a protein bowl with grilled tofu, and it was fresh and good for a meal. The ingredients felt clean and healthy. The sauce was especially delicious, but since I’m on a diet, I couldn’t eat much of it — kind of regret that 🙁 The strawberry banana smoothie was also good. It wasn’t too sweet, so it went well with the bowl. The store atmosphere was pleasant, and the restroom was clean. It’s a good place for a well-balanced meal.

This is a nice veggie grill. I came here during a weekday. I ordered the western burger which was okay, not bad not outstanding but good. The fries are delicious. The eating area is clean, the employees are helpful. Chris helped me out and was very polite. Great employee. Parking is metered street parking or paid lot parking. It’s easier if you have someone in the car waiting while you run in for your food. Best to use the app for ordering. Would come again. Good place for a veggie meal.

Wow, you won't believe how incredibly delicious the veggie burger is! The Maverick burger is a game-changer—it tastes just like real beef, but it's 100% plant-based! If you're a tourist looking for a healthy dining spot, this place is an absolute must-visit. I got 2 Small smoothies and 1 Small Chili cheese fries and it was almost $40. That’s insane the smoothies were Okay tasting and very small. The fries were also Okay tasting and a small portion but not the worst. The smoothies came out pretty quick but the fries took almost 20 minutes are you kidding me? I’d rather spend $40 somewhere else.

I stopped in there today after going to the gym. it was my first time visiting, and I had the Baja fish taco made with vegan fish. It was delicious. Everything looked really good, and I can't wait to return to try some other things on the menu. Everybody was extremely polite / friendly and the service was fast.

Without exaggerating, the best Tacos I ate in the US. During my travels along the west coast I stopped at many places and for me these were number one. Creative creations, all very tasty. Allergens also marked exemplary. Went here two days in a row because it was so good. On the first day I got served by an extremely friendly lady (reddish hair). The second day by a young guy with longer wavy hair. He was not nearly as friendly as the lady who served me the day before. No Hello / greeting, just looked up at me. I asked him for the very spicy (orange) sauce for my tacos, but it wasn’t brought with my food.

Food was good although portion sizes are a bit small. The place is like an upscale Chipotle. The service was awful. We walked in and placed orders for takeout and waited 25 minutes watching people get their food before us despite ordering after us. I don’t mind waiting for food in general especially if I know the kitchen is slammed, but they weren’t and it was the attitude that was the worst. The staff seemed very unbothered when we asked them for an update on the status of our food. Only when I seemed to find a manager did our food suddenly appear within 1 minute. 👀

So many issues with Tocaya. The quality has drastically gone down. Employees simply don’t care: had a very bad experience at the century city location. Called into complain the manager there didn’t seem to care. So i called into this location told them I will never give them my money again. A manager called me back apologized told me to give them another try. So I stopped going for a few weeks to boycott them cause I didn’t want to give them my money. Decided to finally give them another chance called into redeem my free meal. They gave me such a hard time saying to call back another day when the manager is there to redeem it. Today called in again same thing literally completely disregarding it. This place is a joke I would eat here so often, I understand now why a lot of their locations are closing.

Truly a wonderful surprise while walking in beautiful Santa Monica city. The ambiance caught my attention , very modern and minimalistic , and when I checked the menu , I truly wanted to try the tacos. Well , I was extremely surprised by the quality of the Tacos and also of the side dishes , like the street corn and the Agua Fresca of Pineapple and Jalapeño (amazing flavor indeed).Also the fresh salsa and the chips are excellent. The only problem with this place is parking , but oh well , that's the life in Southern California. Price was on spot for the quality offered here too. I will definitely come back or to the other locations in Los Angeles.

Wolfgang Puck checks all the boxes and serves an amazing lunch at Merois—and lunch happens to be my favorite meal. The rooftop restaurant is completely open from front to back, allowing plenty of light and fresh air to flow from Sunset Boulevard to the sweeping views of the city. It’s also located near the pool, which gives everything a great resort-meets-beach vibe right in the middle of the city. Cocktails are a must—they showcase a bartender’s ability to strike the perfect balance. We tried Island in the Sun, made with Haku Vodka, Thai basil, bergamot aperitif, and lemongrass. It wasn’t overpowered by sweetness and was perfectly balanced. We also had Pepino’s Revenge, with Altos Blanco Tequila, Japanese cucumber, Thai basil, lime, and salt—refreshing and bright. For lunch, we had the Hamachi Tostada with yuzu kosho and avocado—mind-blowingly delicious; I could eat it all day. The Singaporean Baby Back Ribs were sticky and sweet, with pickled peppers adding a nice bite. Even the “plain” green salad surprised us—it had the most amazing ginger vinaigrette, just the right amount, and a beautiful variety of greens. The Crab Fried Rice with Peking Duck, dashi omelet, and garlic chive ranks among the best fried rice dishes I’ve ever eaten. Every bite was loaded with flavor, and the rice wrapped in the omelet was brilliant. What makes service perfect? Knowing when to be at the table and when to stay away. That awareness speaks to the overall balance of the experience—outstanding food, great service, and a casually elegant atmosphere that makes for an unforgettable lunch.

A truly exceptional dining experience! We had such a wonderful evening at MEROIS. The snapper was absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredible. They were so accommodating for my wife's gluten allergy, which we really appreciated. The service was flawless from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Now my favorite restaurant in Los Angeles on sunset blvd. The pendry hotel is so nice and the restaurant is Wolfgang pucks best restaurant! Amazing food. I had the pad Thai was soooooo delicious best I’ve ever had. The view was epic and the decor was so amazing. I would come here often!

I thought the food was beautifully prepared, so much flavor. Desmond our server recommended amazing dishes and was so right about the cheesecake in which was accompanied by champagne. Only thing is we really wanted the whiskey we love. Uncle Nearest wasn't in stock. Hopefully that'll change. Other than that we would return. There is valet, staff was friendly and the atmosphere is super cute !

🌟⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing! The view — amazing. The food — amazing. The service and hospitality — amazing! We arrived just before opening around 11:15 a.m., and the host kindly allowed us to sit down early. A few other guests came in around the same time. One of the employees, Dustin, stood out for his warmth and hospitality. He greeted everyone waiting, offered drinks, and even asked about our experience in Hollywood so far. Dustin truly made the place feel welcoming — you just don’t get that kind of genuine hospitality anymore! And let’s talk about the view — next level. We cozied up on a couch with a perfect view and ordered plate after plate of pure yumminess. To top it off, I ordered the Show Me Love cocktail — easily the envy of the afternoon and absolutely delicious. I don't really have a critique, if I have to say something it was bit pricey — but honestly, it was next level classy. I actually expected to pay more! Toto, we’re definitely not in Kansas anymore🌟

*Delayed post from Jan '25. WOW! What an incredible experience at Merois. One of the best meals in LA to date. The staff was extremely attentive, refilling water, clearing plates, and providing new silverware before we even noticed. They took pictures of our group in multiple spots as well. The views are spectacular and I highly recommend coming here for special occasions, even if it’s just to check out their bar and dessert menu in the smaller area next to the dining room. The passion fruit sauce that accompanied the Spring Garlic Brioche was mouth-puckeringly delicious and unexpectedly spicy, but not overpowering. It paired well with the Creme Fraiche and Caviar, which cooled down the spice and added saltiness, but the biscuits we received were on the smaller side. Not sure we really needed them at all. The Brussel Sprouts were well coated in a creamy sauce, yet retained their crispy texture. I thoroughly enjoyed the aromatic spice from the Mustard, similar to the effect of Wasabi or Horseradish, but not as intense. The Blue Fina Tuna Rice Cakes were very crispy and contrasted the delicate fish on top well. I enjoyed the balance of acidity and sweetness of the Ponzu. We ordered the Wagyu cooked at medium. It was extremely tender and featured just the right amount of charcoal flavor. Thankfully the Chimichurri wasn’t too oily, though it was very acidic from the amount of lime used. It punches you in the face in a good way! The accompanying potatoes were crispy on the outside and buttery soft in the middle. Cauliflower was properly battered, giving it a satisfying bite. It balanced sweet and spicy well, but was too salty. Mixing it with the Crab Fried Rice helped so the saltiness was spread out amongst the egg and duck. The Red Tai Curry had a nice lingering spice similar to a Habanero, but the coconut milk was nice to reign in the heat. The texture of the mushrooms in this dish were so satisfying! Not mushy at all. The Shrimp was well cooked, juicy without becoming rubbery. Once again this dish exemplified their ability to balance sweetness from the pineapple and spice from the curry. The Peking Duck was extremely well done. They rendered the fat properly and slightly undercooked the meat to allow for the best texture and flavor without too much grease. I enjoyed that they carved the duck next to our table as well!

This rooftop at the Pendry Hotel has great views and a stylish, trendy vibe. The service was attentive, the food was good. Parking is $30 with validation. I’d go back for drinks and appetizers to enjoy the atmosphere.

A wonderful place to have an excellent meal. It's been a day, and I still cannot get over both his delicious the food was, and how friendly the staff was. The shrimp was excellent, the crispy pork was as well. The chicken satay appetizer was also a hit! And ending the meal with the mango sticky rice was fantastic. Word of warning: it's spicier than you think, I went medium thinking it would be fine, and I might kick it up on my next visit, but no, I got SPICED OUT! I'm going mild next time!

I cannot emphasize enough how good this place is—they have such a cute interior and the food is DIVINE! I’ve eaten a lot of Thai food and this is probably the best I’ve ever had in my life. I drive an hour away from my house to eat here, and often bring my friends, all of whom agree that it is the best Thai food place in California (and maybe the world?). Happened to be in this area and glad to have found this lovely place. Bright and clean space. Solid good Thai food. Especially loved the green curry with veggies - rich yet refreshing.

We sat on the patio. Every 5 mins a motorcycle cop was giving tickets on the corner. It was a lovely sunny day so outside of course was the choice. I would not do that again. The oysters were excellent & fresh. The hamachi was overpowered by the sauce for me but my friend loved it. The lump crab toast sadly lacked crab. It was more a burrata toast. The scallop crudo was nicely & simply seasoned. We shared the dover sole. Please ask the price before ordering. We forgot that part and our delicious fish was $85. Shocking i know! Oh yes, the persian cicumber side was very tasty. For dessert I enjoyed the inner part of the pistachio tiramisù & my friend preferred the outer. We got lucky! My orange cocktail was very nice as well as my blood orange mocktail. My friends pineapple cocktail was very good. It was gone in a few sips. She also like the wine menu. Service was interesting. We started with one person and then another person took over and by the end of our meal the 1st person came back to us. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The place is very cute and I would recommend a try.

This was a great brunch and starting with the grapefruit and juniper spritz set the right tone because they were perfectly balanced. I hate cocktails that throw off the balance with alcohol. Baked scallops, great flavor; lobster pasta I highly recommend because the sauce could be eaten by itself it’s so good; smoke salmon Benedict was done to perfection and the highlight for me was the addition of avocado and a very thin super crispy muffin! I always think muffins are too big so that was a big plus for me.

Ask for Alex! He was very knowledgeable about the menu. The seafood tower was fantastic. We built our own from the Raw Bar menu. We will definitely visit Saltie Girl again in LA and check it out in Boston!

We stopped in for brunch, but even with the dining room half full, service moved at a crawl—an understandable result of being short-staffed, though still hard to ignore. To their credit, the manager handled it graciously, offering a complimentary sweet bun crown that turned out to be the highlight of the meal: tender, aromatic, and beautifully balanced between cinnamon warmth and a touch of sea salt. The sirloin steak, unfortunately, couldn’t match it—bland in flavor and overcharred at the edges, it felt more perfunctory than indulgent. Still, the restaurant’s kindness and small moments of care suggest that, on a better-staffed day, the experience might rise to its ambitions.

Our server Tess was excellent and provided great communication and service. The food was very fresh and very tasty. This place is not cheap but for the quality of the food it was appropriately priced. I really enjoyed the whole lobster but next time will probably get the roll. The Tiramisu for desert was excellent.

so cute!!! but oh my gosh it was basically empty on a sunday night and it took 3 hours from the time we got seated to paying our bill and we only ordered 3 “simple” things. almost funny. luckily not in a hurry. 😂 we got oysters. yum! and the crab lump toast was INSANELY GOOD. highly recommend. then we had to do the tin fish. honestly. was fine. it was literally the same patagonia tinned fish i buy at rei and camp with. ha. but yeah def try the place. but know it is very slow service. but our waitress was super kind and knowledgeable though hostess was not tooooo friendly

The cashier needs to pay attention more to listening. The guy who took the order seemed distracted and I gotta asked 3 times and still got my answer wrong for the second time. Regular sizes for over $9 and large is somewhere over $12/13. Hard to find parking and only meters since it’s a busy area. So I just came in today and I've never received such a horrible experience, I'm not sure if the guy attending me is homophobic or what his problem is but as soon as I came inside the store he did not acknowledge me at all, no greeting nothing. I had to say hello 👋!! To finally get him to take my order , then I ask him what kind of sweetners do they have for like a iced matcha drink, he then tells me it's vanilla powder that's pre Sweetened already, I ask him if I can ask for something different he says "what do you mean?" In a very condescending manner, and I say " yeah, like If I want an ice matcha with like oat milk and honey?" He says "oh yea u want that?" Like what? That's why I was asking for the different sweetners he could have informed me when I asked, he just didn't seem like he wanted to help me at all. I had to literally dig it out of him because my friend told me she gets her iced matcha her way and she gets agave sweetner, so he finally says yes we do have different sweetners and he tells me the different ones they have. THEN 2 ladies after me order smoothies he then proceeds to finish their drinks and hand it to them personally as I am standing waiting for my drink which I had ordered before them. His attitude was absolutely nasty 💯 and I really felt the need to write this and hopefully be heard. I feel discriminated against

I hope they expand and open up in Sacramento because Beverly Hills is not just around the corner but until they do I’ll keep visiting any chance I get!

I’ve had better ginger for half the price. Didn’t even taste like ginger. More like a watered down pulp taste. For $11 I expected better from both. Kinda feel like I paid for the little glass bottles they came in. I would 1 star rate this place but the guy who helped me was cool.

This place is excellent. Every dish we tried was good, but the standouts for me were the clam toast and crispy potatoes. The bread for the toast was perfect and the potatoes were just the right amount of fluffiness on the inside and crispy outside. My mouth is watering just writing this. The trout was worth getting as well. I will definitely be back to try more dishes.

So glad I came to this restaurant!! First of all, this place is GORGEOUS! ♥️ The ambiance is so nice! The server didn't seem too happy to see us, though 🤣 And the portions are surprisingly small — HAHA! BUT overall, it was a fantastic experience because the food is delicious! 🙌🏻💃🏻 The Rainbow Trout is THE BEST!! 🐟 Something you shouldn't miss. The trout is deboned, so no need to worry about that. The garlic chives sauce is amazing, and the rice really adds texture to the whole dish. RECOMMENDED!! 😉 The Crispy Potato is WONDERFULLY CRISPY AND DELICIOUS! 🥔 The combination of aioli, nori, and crispy potatoes is so bomb. Highly recommended! 🤤 The Caramelized Banana Bar was a pleasant surprise. If you're a huge PB fan like me, this dessert is for you!! 🍌🥰 Those are the most memorable dishes for me! We also ordered the clam toast, scallop tartare, sprouting cauliflower, snap peas, pork chop, and bruleed cheesecake. The clam toast and snap peas are extremely small and not worth the price 😅 but again, everything was good 🤣 Overall, this restaurant is definitely worth a try! 😝

Exceeds expectation. The restaurant sits in the same courtyard as the Pasadena Playhouse. We thought it’s another trendy over-the-top gimmicks. Turned out not so. The review is for our dining experience at the bar/ communal table area. Ordered an old fashion, and Chelou 75. Pleasantly impressed by how decent they are, we decided to try some food and got salad, crispy potatoes and duck to share. All very tasty. The greens are fresh, nicely dressed. Potatoes are crispy but still buttery soft inside; the duck is very nicely salted and roasted with tender strips of meat falling off the bones. We followed chef’s notes on how best to eat it - you gotta mix it so on - and it is absolutely delightful. On top of all this, service is attentive. Over all, a very pleasant and delicious experience. I would recommend anyone to check it out at least once if you are in the neighborhood.

You know a place is nice when they have individual paper towels in the bathroom. This place is outstanding on every metric. Food is incredible in quality, taste and presentation. Service is excellent, and ambiance is amazing. Perfect spot for date night. Has been on my list for a while and I’m so glad to have finally tried it.

For dessert the Matcha was so good. Loved the crispy potato appetizer was outstanding, burrata and squid… so good.

I had their Chilaquiles plate, which portion wise was very generous! But, it lacked that traditional flavor... should have gone with a more American breakfast like my kids' meal. The whole thing looked and tasted really good! The service was great, they're very attentive of everyone!

Hot N Tots is a favorite breakfast spot for us. They serve delicious food, especially the ham steak, which is so generous that I often take most of it home for the next day. The servers are friendly and helpful.

We ordered the chilaquiles with verde sauce and carne asada and the country skillet and both were amazing! Our server Elizabeth made our experience wonderful with her great recommendations, service, and personality. Will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast. This restaurant has been around for years and known for their breakfast. The food was good, service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant. Please don't just take my word for it go try it out!!! The side of biscuits and gravy was a meal in itself!

I used to order from here all the time but I eventually got tired of getting orders with missing items. This last time I got a chicken sandwich with no chicken. Called the restaurant, manager Veronica apologized and said she issued a refund. Days later and no refund was received so I called again. GM Anabel told me she’d issue a refund and asked me to send an email explaining what happened. She gave me the wrong email so I forwarded it to corporate who only reimbursed me for the incorrect item. They consistently leave something out. I started picking up so I could make sure my order was correct but I never thought I’d have to check my order to make sure the chicken was actually in the sandwich. No more ordering from this location for me

We preordered online, and my food was 30+ minutes delayed. And then... we found a live LADYBUG in the food. Safe to say, I will never be coming back here.

The food was okay. I feel like the quality of the food was alot better and tastier when Tender Greens first opened up. I ordered the bbq chipotle plate with roasted potatoes, romaine hearts and seasonal vegetables. The roasted potatoes were overly soaked in oil and could have been cooked/fried more. The seasonal vegetables was decent, nothing to really rave about. I liked the Cesar salad but there was a little too much Parmesan cheese for my liking. The bbq chipotle chicken had some flavor. I did wish my food was way hotter than it was. I’m also not a fan of the in kitchen made ketchup. If you like regular ketchup, request for the packets. I ordered the watermelon drink- very delicious! And not too sweet. The customer service was great, very friendly and welcoming staff.

Really nice dining option in downtown Culver City. The food is relatively healthy and tastes homemade. They balance the proteins with lots of healthy options including different types of rice, greens, and nuts. I was particularly impressed with the short rib mash. For the price point, I was surprised at the quality of the braised short rib, had a sweet and smoky glaze that paired well with the mashed potatoes. The green juice is also great and for a great price as well. It's the kind of place I would consistently go to if I need a break from eating out too much and needing something healthier with a touch of home.

I only ever go to this location. The food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is super friendly and make my dining experience lovely. I notice the staff communicate very well with each other, especially when it’s busy. As a result, our orders are brought out in a timely matter and never cold. The location is perfect and there’s always parking. Ever since I came here for the first time, I’ve recommended Tendergreens to everyone! The Chipotle BBQ Chicken Sandwich is my favorite! 💕

I ordered my food through a delivery service I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich absolutely delicious and I got a couple of side salads I like them because they're smaller ones and you can get several different ones I've tried all the side salads just to add a little extra something to my meal. I finished up with dessert the olive oil cake and the carrot cake muffin simply Delicious

The food was decent, the chicken is a little dry but it's good if you like chicken breast. We were sitting outside and the leaves was falling on our plates lol.. perhaps they should have umbrella on the outside. Also wish the employees will come out and check on the customers too. We have to go inside and refill the drinks.

Service was good. Food - Kale greens were very good, and even better with hot sauce. Black eyed peas were flavor-lacking. BBQ jackfruit was just ok. Potato salad was ok. Yams were a healthier, ok version of southern yams. Not horrible, but not the yummy yams we’re used to eating at holidays. I didn’t try the cornbread. Mock Chicken salad was good, but not the best. I’m disappointed that this place failed to measure up to the hype.

I liked the parfait. I’m new to vegan dishes. Selection looked good. If you would have told me an avocado could be turned into some whipped yumminess for a parfait, I would not have believed you.

I had the most amazing experience here! The staff are amazing and very welcoming. Now, the food is extraordinary. The flavors, food options and freshness of the ingredients make this an amazing vegan restaurant. Coming from someone who is picky and very selective about food, this place had me in a trance. To leave the restaurant feeling full without a heavy dazed feeling that I get with "regular food" left me and my body happy. 10 out of 10, I definitely recommend. My favorites include the stir fry, beet juice, and nachos.

Every time I come to California no matter where I am. I must visit and get a few orders for the entire family. Everything is so beautiful, delicious, and fulfilling. Unlike many vegan restaurants they have a kids menu. This brings me peace as a mama of 3 littles. I don’t want to do algebra when ordering adult meals for 3 minors trying to figure out portion sizes and if I ordered enough. Thank you the Stuff I Eat!!

Very friendly very fresh. I’m not the biggest fan of vegan food but this place is amazing. I had the best Mac and cheese and some tasty burritos. It filled me up. It was worth 1 hour drive from Orange County. We spent $50-$100 to try everything but on average it is $15 bucks per plate and they pack it in. Thank you Chef Babette and Ron for welcoming us in. They’re both done to Earth people. We’ll be coming back again.

This educational vegan food mecca is a must see for AWESOME vegan food and treats. IF YOU CAN please visit Ms.Babet. She is an unbelievable 70 + years young. Now that says it all. Go vegan . Feed the cure or feed the disease.

BBQ Tofu, Lunch Burrito, Mac n Cheese and oatmeal cookies. I ordered from Uber eats and the food was delicious. I normally get the taco's when I pick the food up my self, but since I was having a delivery, the burrito was the other option and it was so good. Additionally, the BBQ Tofu and Mac n Cheese tasted great! (eyes bigger than my stomach). I have left overs for tomorrow.

Food didn’t live up to the hype but the service and vibes did. After hearing all the hype from friends and social media, I finally made my way to Pijja Palace for lunch. Obviously we had to try a little bit of everything so we got the Caesar salad, onion rings, cheese pizza with green chutney, and their saffron pasta. Our Caesar had nice crispy fresh lettuce but was a bit over dressed. We loved the toasted crunch over croutons- very creative. The batter on the onions was so thick it completely lost the flavor of the onion. With so much fried breading our mouths were left dry and we missed that classic onion ring crunch. The sweet sauce served with the rings was a nice touch though. The saffron pasta was interesting, love the shape of the pasta chosen but the sauce left me wanting. Finally, our best bite, the pizza. Thin crispy bar crust but a bright and zesty chutney sauce. This was the perfect collaboration of Indian bar food. Food aside, service was exceptional. Host, server, everyone was clearly in lock step. Something you’d expect of a high end restaurant, not a pizza bar. Would pick up a pie to go if I’m ever in the area, but otherwise not something I’m going to drive out of the way for.

Pijja Palace has a fun concept, blending Indian flavors with classic American bar food, but the execution was hit-or-miss for me. What to try: • Definitely go for the pizza — we made our own and it was the highlight of the meal. • The chicken wings were surprisingly solid. • The malai pasta had an interesting flavor, though a bit heavy. What to skip: • Onion rings — the batter was way too thick and took away from the onion itself. Overall thoughts: Everything was extremely oily. I know mixing Indian flavors with bar food isn’t easy, but I wasn’t expecting plates to be literally drenched in oil. The heaviness took away from the flavors. That said, the drinks were excellent — creative, refreshing, and well-balanced. Would I return? Probably not. But if I did, it would be just for the pizza and that tulsi- rose lemonade.

A favorite spot of mine whenever I was able to make it out to Silverlake! My husband is of Italian descent and I am of Indian descent so this was such a special place for us. The Indian fusion is incredibly unique as is the atmosphere of the restaurant. The Malai Rigatoni is a no brainer and make sure you leave room at the end for the Cookies & Cardamom ice cream!

Finally made it here. Friendly staff and nice modern interiors. Food is, different. A for effort. The fries were good and the wings too, but the pizza and pasta were just OK. Then I remembered this is billed as a sports bar.

We have been wanting to go pijja palace for a while now and I’m so glad that we did! More of a sports bar vibe on the inside which was perfect for us after hangout around town with friends all day, working up an appetite. I think we pretty much ordered one of everything lol. But the stand out dishes for us were the malai rigatoni and the green chile chutney pijja. Amazing and unique flavors! Be prepared to sweat a little, all of the dishes pack a little spice, but thankfully they have delicious soft serve desserts to cool down afterwards! Wait staff was great walking us through the menu. Would definitely go back again!

Hearing tons of great reviews about the foods, I was super excited for my dinner in Pijja Palace. It's not the hardest getting reservations even on weekend to my surprise, but when arriving at the venue it looked extremely busy with long waiting line. We arrived too early but needed to wait until closer to our reservation time as the place was packed. It's super fun dining experience as it really gave that sports bar vibes with multiple screens showing different stuffs mostly matches to watch. The website menu I checked earlier was apparently pretty outdated since prices have been way higher and some menus have changed. Starting with their pijja/pizza as obviously that's what they're known of. Following the recommendation from our server, ordered their Tikka Masala Pizza, which was extremely flavorful and you could taste rich mix of seasonings. It featured right balance of cheese and the meat toppings surely complemented the overall taste. They did come with crispy thin crust, well suited my liking. Another one not to miss was their Malai Rigatoni, which seemed to get nothing but perfect reviews by tons of people. First spoon and I could definitely see why almost all guests had this on their tables (YEP. Testifying it!). It was AMAZING. PERIOD. Pasta was al dente, tomato masala and cream sauce was extremely flavorful. You literally felt like you wanted to lick the plate clean! I would recommend sharing as it's pretty heavy.

I am so painfully full I might explode—this must be what pure bliss feels like. ✨ Normally, I hate sports bars, but this one hit different. The interior was surprisingly charming: modern and whimsical with pops of color. Even the bathroom had cute, sports-themed art. Service was excellent—our waitress was quick with suggestions and super knowledgeable about food allergies (tree nuts, in our case). Power ranking of the dishes we ordered (from favorite to least favorite): 1. Malai rigatoni 2. Cookies and cardamom ice cream 3. Chutney pijja 4. Caesar salad 5. Mango Lassi Creamsicle 6. Chili garlic toast 7. Our custom pijja (peri peri vindaloo sauce with kadai paneer and tandoori onions) 8. Dosa onion rings Overall, I’d highly recommend Pijja Palace—just don’t forget to make a reservation. 😉

All Time was bustling when I arrived around 1:23 PM on a Saturday, but the line moved reasonably quickly. The staff was fantastic, offering wine tastings and donut hole samples, which was a nice touch. The atmosphere is small and cozy. We ordered the Good Salad with hanger steak, and it was exceptional – fresh, crunchy veggies and perfectly cooked steak. Highly recommend! The B.O.A.T. was a good, lighter option with a unique blue corn tortilla quesadilla. We also tried their donuts – the chocolate was definitely the standout. My matcha latte was just alright. While I wouldn't return for the latte, I'd absolutely go back for the food and atmosphere.

The atmosphere for dinner was cozy. The buratta was delicious, and the cowboy beans were good but overpriced. Our waiter was attentive, but I was disappointed by the host, who shooed me away from looking at the restaurant's cookbook. I picked one up in what I thought was a merch area, where they had stacks of the books displayed just inside the front door. Instead of giving me a display copy they said they had, the host just told me to put the book down and walked away. It felt snobby, like the books being displayed in perfect order were more important than selling the cookbooks or encouraging interest in purchasing the cookbook. It was strange.

Trendy place, fresh ingredients, lovely atmosphere. Service is a little slow, my tuna nicoise was delicious but the bottom half of the salad was drowning in dressing. Lovely free sample of wine when we were standing in line

A perfect discovery! We visited All Time both for breakfast and dinner on the same day — and everything was absolutely wonderful. During dinner, Ian took care of us and his service was incredibly kind and attentive. We ordered the branzino, farm salad, and lamb ragu — every single dish was packed with flavor and so thoughtfully prepared. The drinks were just as amazing. I came with my 3-year-old son, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made us both feel right at home. So happy we found this place — can’t wait to come back. Thank you, All Time! 💛

One of the best cappuccinos I’ve ever had. Perfect temperature, great beans. Service is friendly & efficient. Atmosphere is a cool Euro vibe, outdoorsy but not hot. Food is super high quality & good portion sizes. Overall this place is a total gem. Don’t be scared by the line- you order first and then sit. They do a great job of getting people in & out, without creating a rushed feeling.

I really miss Taeem Grill. Ever since they closed, it feels like Dr. Sandwich has been going downhill. The portion sizes have noticeably shrunk, and the food itself is just… average. Nothing stands out. Tonight, I ordered the ribeye plate, and honestly, if I hadn’t eaten beforehand, I would’ve still been hungry. My father got the shawarma plate, my cousin went with the falafel—and we all walked away with the same impression: still hungry, and underwhelmed. The consensus? Overpriced for what you’re getting, with mediocre quality that doesn’t justify the cost. Disappointing all around.

Dr. Sandwich on Beverly is hands down one of the best shawarma spots in LA. The shawarma is incredible and the meat is always perfectly cooked. There’s usually a small line, but it moves fast, you’ll be waiting maybe 3–5 minutes. Totally worth it every time. The food is simply delicious

The place is pretty legit, I wish they had more sauce options but that's a small criticism. I also wish challah was a regular option for the bread when you order a sandwich/shawarma I got the beef shawarma, generous amount of beef, honestly the sandwich could be two meals. Proper spiraled meat roasting on an open flame. Tons of options on how to make your shawarma. I chose the baguette which was amazing, fresh and soft. The ingredients were fresh, Israeli salad, hummus, Tahini and chili sauce to go on the baguette with the shawarma. Great service, the owner shook my hand and welcomed me and the gentleman making my order apologized for the wait and hooked me up with some roasted eggplant. The wait wasn't , I just came during dinner time and they were quite busy. They are cooking for community there and you can see the food is made with love. I don't eat kosher but I really appreciate it nonetheless, the quality of ingredients really shines through.

Pretty solid breakfast burrito with crispy potatoes and a slightly spicy taste. Wish it had a side salsa to dress every bite. Otherwise a good option but not on the level of the greats in the city.

Absolutely delicious burgers I love the beauty burger it’s super good! The photo speaks for itself. That’s an impossible burger with sauce onions and pickles. Has a great crisp to it and not at all meat and was not contaminated with actual meat from same grill. I’d get sick if it was so it was made very well. I went here twice on my two day stay it was that good.

Well I’ll be damned…a delicious no frills burger in LA that doesn’t cost $47?! If you’ve ever been to a small town county fair, this is the smell and taste of The Win-Dow. Double cheeseburger costs $7.95. The seating area SUCKS though. It feels like a McDonald’s ball pit of kindergarten classroom stools. (Please just invest in a few shitty IKEA patio tables / chairs.) But I guess that’s on me…the place is called “The Win-Dow” and not “The Win-Dow with Ta-Bles and Ch-Airs.”

The BEST burger you will have in LA hands down! Plus, their customer service is top-notch. I recommend the Cheeseburger and an Arnold Palmer.

How can a place have far better quality and flavor than a fast food chain and yet be better priced? This is the magic, unanswerable question about the Window. I order a double cheeseburger with fries and a house sauce side for dipping. The shakes and cones are delightful. Also the kale salad is surprisingly delicious and recommend adding avocado to it. Great spot!

The burgers and chicken sandwich are solid. Always fresh. Always good. Always comes to mind when I’m thinking of what to eat. I’ve gone in person and have had it for delivery, always hits.

I figured this place would be all hype given how this city likes to exaggerate or gas up the most basic of places. But I was so wrong. Why go to any other fast food joint when the quality and price here beats any other spot in town? Burgers are delicious and the fries are done right. They also have some other options like salads and a chicken sandwich but it’s really about the smash burgers here. Fairly simple menu so you don’t have to waste time. That and the shakes. The S’mores shake is worth checking out! I never liked In n Out or Shake Shack anyway, I’ll stick with the Win-Dow!

Was able to walk in and get a booth on a Tuesday night. It was definitely busy, but not packed. I started with the chicken soup. INCREDIBLE! The chicken was moist and tender. I don't know if they roast it or smoke it, but the flavor is incredible. And the amount of chicken they give you is insane! (Picture for proof) My entrée was the short rib. That I believe was a special for the night. . It melted in my mouth. Absolutely fantastic! And my water glass stayed full the entire meal!

My first time here, ordered pork chops with applesauce. Came with sweet potatoes and two sides. Mashed was quite good and generous helping. Roasted veg was whatever. Two thin pork chop slices tasted like pancakes. Weird. Friend’s branzino was too fishy. My daughter was very happy with her chicken Cesar chopped salad. Hubby also satisfied with burger. Accommodated our dog which was very nice.

What a wonderful restaurant where you are greeted with a warm welcome and friendly service. As a recommendation for those craving a salad - my choice was the Amy's salad (filled with chicken, avocado, cashews and grapefruit). The dressing is light and very tasty. The warm bread that is offered is delicious - 2 slices and they disappeared quickly. If you have a sweet tooth, order the key lime pie for dessert. A perfect pair of tart and sweet. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was tasty, fresh, and had a homemade feel that made it extra special. What truly stood out was the service, Llenelle took amazing care of us. She patiently helped us select dishes, made sure our drinks were always refilled, and even helped with packing our leftovers. Her warmth and attentiveness made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend both the food and the service!

My hope is that the owner's/management of Stanley's read this review and use it to improve their restaurant. I love LA, I love The Valley, and I love to support our local businesses and truly hope that they thrive: The food was just OK, not great. I am fine paying $22 for a salad, $11 for a bowl of soup if the quality and atmosphere supports that price... Stanley's does not. The restaurant is filthy! There was trash on the ground. There was food and grease on our booth seats. The seating is cheap and hand made, and barely bolted to the ground. The bathrooms were filthy and smelly. So gross! And to top it all off, at the end of our meal a party walked into the place with a large smelly dog... it sat behind us as we finished our meal. We were disgusted. When did it suddenly become a thing to bring a large, stinky, dirty dog into a restaurant while other people are eating??? Absolutely disgusting. I love dogs, but a restaurant is meant to be a clean, public space for people, not pets. Stanley's is not a clean public space for many reasons... the dirty dog was just the cherry on top. Again, Stanley's, I hope you take this to heart. I wish you and your business, and your employees success... but I don't think we'll be back.

Oh man, this makes me so sad. This is the third time in the past two months that I’ve had the same experience unfortunately a long time neighborhood traditional I think is finally slipping. We ordered the calamari and I’m not joking. The calamari is literally taste like they had just deep-fried some tortilla chips and then throw calamari in the same oil. It was the worst test I’ve ever tasted. I was so hungry. We decided to move forward and eat it, but it was also so soggy very soggy. Definitely the worst calamari I’ve ever had in California. M we ordered a salad with ranch mixed in for our son who’s five years old and said it showed up with balsamic when we asked them to fix it it seems like they just threw ranch on top which really is fine. He’s five years old. Who cares? And then chicken strips came for our son and they also smell like tortillas so something is wrong with that very old Oil. This is definitely the last time we’re coming here. The food has gone way down Actually worse than food truck. Spoke to Daniel the manager after all, we live up in the hills and we’ve been frequently in this place for years and his explanation was they changed out the oil only once a week these days and it makes sense that they smell like or taste like tortillas because they just do a lot of tortillas lately and I said that that’s fair and that was that I’m sure he’ll try to compass, but I’m not concerned about that. It’s not about the money as neighborhood patrons obviously it cost a lot to live over here and it doesn’t mean that we’re snotty about food, but this place used to be known for good food and it’s just gone way down hill. Sherman Oaks needs a few more good restaurants. It’s kind of sad.

1st timer here and ordered Chinese chicken salad that I highly recommended with passion ice tea....They have excellent choice of dishes!

Great little burger that has a powerful flavor. I liked it. It's affordable and not too long of a wait, I mean with a small crowd, I think it's a fair amount of time. I had the normal cheeseburger and thought maybe 4 solid bites and it's gone. But good bites. I took away 2 stars from service because the guy taking my order said he can't cut the burger for me, but can give me a knife. Which is fine. But when I get my food during a packed crowd and get no knife and these guys disappear back into the kitchen area. Hmm, yeah these are the things I tip for. So hopefully, a little more customer service and this place is brilliant.

One of the tastiest smash burgers I’ve had in a very long time. The restaurant has a 60 minute limit parking lot around the side of the building offering around 15 spots. The burger-8.5/10 The fries-9/10 Their shakes I hear are amazing! The overall price for the meal-8/10 Highly recommend trying this burger joint off of one of the busiest streets in Long Beach.

Drove by many many times but haven't try it til now. Always busy but it you come upon their open, way less people. This is for to go or eating on counters. Most are to go. Easy direct short menu to order, beef, chicken or veggie burger, they do have salad and a grain bowl with fries, slaws and dipped cones. Make to ordered so abit of waiting and the price is good. Taste wise, good nothing special. Just abit of too much of sauce for the burger (should request on aside or less). Fried chicken sandwich was tasty and moist but not crunchy. Fries are great, tasty and crunchy..perfectly make. The place is more of outdoor but with a fun, chill vibe. Service was good & nice. Overall, not bad.

Epic smash burgers, truly brilliant. Chicken sandwich was good too, fries are solid. Ketchup sachets aren't needed, but they lob a ton in the bag anyway. Very popular so at certain times of day expect it to be busy and there to be a queue. It still moves quickly all the same. Overall, I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a better burger in the area.

Foods great, fries are kinda bland but everything else is great with food. The service is amazing the workers are very nice and never sound annoyed. The seating is usually full and the environment is good just gets boring after 3 times

Great location. Parking is right beside the restaurant so don’t drive by and miss it. Burger was fantastic, fries were great with the house sauce to dip it in. My son always gets plain and it’s impossible here because the put onions on the grill but he said you couldn’t taste what few were on his burger. Definite go to and then go stroll along the water after.

I’d give it 10 stars if I could! So far the best burger I’ve found in Long Beach. We’ve been here maybe 6-7 times in the last month, mostly for burgers, sometimes just ice cream and every time it’s been above and beyond delicious! Their prices are super reasonable considering how great the food is and how wonderful the service is! Online ordering is easy and it’s always ready on time. They’ve got a small parking lot but we’ve always been able to find street parking within a couple blocks. Fun atmosphere. Attentive and kind employees. Love the onions on the burgers. Also love the 3% extra charge for the employees. We will come back again and again and are thankful for such a wonderful neighborhood spot.
