Pendolasco is a renowned Italian restaurant located in a serene environment within its own French villa in the heart of Thao Dien. It has been serving authentic Italian cuisine, including delicious pizza, pasta, and seafood for nearly 20 years. The establishment is famous for its 'pizza alla palla,' prepared by Pizza Master chef Manuel Reale, who won the World Pizza Championship in Parma in 2017.
We really appreciate that our kid can always enjoy the gluten-free and dairy-free pasta. Today we tried the seafood risotto for the first time, but the rice was a bit on the hard side, which was a bit of a letdown. The steak was delicious as always.

Pendolasco in Thao Dien is a charming Italian restaurant tucked away in a peaceful, green corner of Ho Chi Minh City—perfect for both intimate meals and casual group gatherings. We had lunch here for my farewell gathering and opted for their lunch set menu, which was a pleasant surprise: well-balanced, flavorful, and satisfying. The meal was perfectly complemented by a smooth glass of red wine, adding to the relaxed and cozy vibe.
Known for its wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas, and extensive wine selection, Pendolasco lives up to its reputation. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from start to finish. A great spot for anyone craving an authentic Italian experience in the heart of Thao Dien.
Pizza is soooooooo gooooooood!!!!! We had Diavola pendolasco and Capricciosa. They both were great. Capricciosa has lots of umami from anchovies. The dough is so flavorful and has great texture! Wine is great, atmosphere is awesome, attentive staff, everything is just great 👍
Had good experiences at Pendolasco. Food is excellent 👍, i asked them to play my favorite song ( Felicita ) and did. Will come back next time with my fiancee
In the afternoon, sitting at an outdoor table with sunlight filtering through the leaves and a gentle breeze blowing brings an incomparable sense of comfort. The decent taste, the staff’s professional service, and above all, the surprisingly affordable prices never fail to impress.
Update: Come back again after 7 years. The food and the atmosphere was same as before. Very tasty pizza and salad, affordable price with nice staff. Really like the cozy viber of the restaurant. Inside and outside areas are also nice.
You can really tell how good an Italian restaurant is by their carbonara—and this place definitely passes that test with flying colors. I ordered their carbonara, and it was truly delicious. The dish had the perfect balance of creamy texture without any cream (yes, #NoCremeInCarbonara!), just like the authentic Italian recipe.
My local friends mentioned that the owners put a lot of effort into staying true to traditional recipes, and you can absolutely taste their dedication in every bite. The flavors were rich, comforting, and felt just like something you’d enjoy in Italy.
Finding genuinely authentic Italian food in Saigon isn’t always easy, but this restaurant nails it. If you’re here and craving real Italian cuisine, especially a properly made carbonara, this is definitely the spot to visit.

Calling it a pizza when they use sliced cheese that is clearly not Mozzarella is just a shame. The cheese wasn’t melted on our puzza, the toppings had no flavour. I literally don’t know how this place is so high rated. The dough is really good but other than that it’s just disappointing. Also before paying they tell you that all the prices are not including tax and it’s not written anywhere.
Oliver's Pizza is a must-try in one of the most charming neighborhoods of Ho Chi Minh City! The pizzas are incredibly fresh, with plenty of delicious varieties to choose from, and the service is quick and friendly. Highly recommended!
Randomly stumbled upon this pizza shop while exploring this ex-pat neighborhood. As someone from NYC, I have high standards for my pizza and this place did not disappoint. Prices were fair for the ingredients and taste. It’s a nice break from the traditional cuisine if you’re looking for something western or just delicious pizza.
I had such a great time at Oliver’s Pizza! The food is amazing – the pizzas are fresh, full of flavor, and honestly some of the best I’ve had in a long time. You can really taste the quality.
But what made the experience truly special was the service. I want to give a huge thank you to Chloé – she was so kind, attentive, and genuinely made me feel welcome. It’s rare to come across someone who brings such warmth and care to their work.
Because of her, and of course the great pizza, I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place!!!
I tried Oliver’s Pizza and I would say it was just okay for me.
They don’t allow you to create custom pizzas or add toppings to their pizza so that already was a huge negative for me. You have to select their pizza selection creations that they have.
The pizza came out to me only warm. It was not hot. When my two friends got their pizza I asked if their pizza was hot and they also said their pizza was just warm too.
As far as the taste I definitely was not a fan of whatever they use for their dough or the pizza. It seems like large white bread.
So far my favorite pizza in Saigon is still “Paper Plate Pizza” followed by “Simple Place” for number 2.

All flavours we tried were very good, but definitely my favourite was Coppa. Highly recommend.

Pizza & Bia is a must-visit spot in Saigon, offering a wide selection of craft beers and an impressive wine list, making it the perfect place to kick off a night out with friends. I had a really nice meal here ❤️ The “Meatball Spaghetti” was comforting and full of flavour - rich tomato sauce. The Pizza was spot on, and had a lovely balance. Nothing over the top - just good, tasty food. The staff were lovely and even offered to take a photo for me - which was such a nice gesture. The whole place had a relaxed, welcoming feel. I would definitely come back in the future.

🤔 this place is good. Def in top 10 of pizza places in Saigon. Definitely beats the tourist trap of Pizza 4ps. However, being a NY I can't quite put a fingernon why I can't give it a 5 stars for food. I will have to come back again and try a large pie. The servers and pasta are all amazing. The bar is sleek and modern feel. Great NY vibe.
I’ve tried many pizza places, but this one impressed me the most with the amazing flavors of its dishes. The cheese is delicious, and the creamy cheese pasta has an unforgettable taste. The beer here is also excellent — definitely worth trying!
The staff are friendly and approachable, and the restaurant’s cozy decor creates a warm, inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for dates or catching up with friends. 😍😍😍
My favorite pizza place — it’s always warm, lively, and full of good vibes whenever I drop by.
I always go for the half-half pizza with Quiet American and Fisherman toppings, plus the Madam Vy Signature salad — super filling! I still haven’t made it to the pasta menu because I just can’t give up my go-to combo.
Prices are reasonable, parking is free and easy.
Staff are friendly and attentive, and they’ve got a full range of chili sauces and condiments on the side.
I visited for takeout and the food was delicious. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend their pizza and pasta, and they also have a great selection of beers. My favorites are the Dream Alone Pale Ale and Magpie
Im not happy about them not telling the real price of their new pizza called truffles cheese. I did ask how much and staff told me it same price as other vegetarian pizza. Im 10 year vegetarian i know about mushroom and things. Not willing to pay 300k for a tiny pizza having little mushroom. Be professional and be clear by writing the price down bc you are a good reputation. It made me feel they put me to their sale by my trust. Their price is already high in the city. Pizza is good but not worthy if service is not professional. Good luck with the confidence.

what a great little place in Ho Chi Minh. Great pizza, really good range of beers and some very eclectic spirits (only place we've found Brugal rum outside of the Caribbean 😆) I broke my leg in Cambodia, now in a wheelchair waiting for surgery here, these guys are awesome, they even have a ramp for access 😀
Great place for a night out. The food is good, the drinks are smooth and they’ve got happy hour from 4pm to 6pm (buy 1 get 1 extra drink). The pizza is fresh and flavorful but the wait takes a bit longer than normal, maybe it’s a bit soon, we got in at around 5:30pm. The staffs are friendly and supportive, maybe too supportive since if you make eye contact with them, they may come to you asap (just wanted to check out the place a bit). Definitely gonna try more pizza next time.

La Hostaria Restaurant, part of the Good Morning restaurant chain, is a top Italian dining spot in Vietnam. The menu offers a wide variety of authentic Italian dishes alongside traditional favorites like soups, veal and fish dishes, risottos, pizzas and pastas. The restaurant boasts an extensive selection of Italian wines and attentive staff. Upon entering, guests are greeted by the iconic Pulcinella on glass, evoking the spirit of southern Italy.
This is the best pizza I've had in HCMC. Period. Authentic Italian recipe and a friendly Italian owner who made sure you were pleased. Pizza starting at 200k vnd, but I recommend the Prosciutto di Parma for 330k vnd. Small and intimate restaurant for those who crave good pasta or pizza 👍

So far, a better pizza place in town. Much higher quality than the Japanese chain. Foods are mostly traditional Italian and a simple menu to pick. You won't see much vnese here for taste is different and this place is a low scale, so no spot for selfies. It is a nice lil romantic spot, however, the noise is a bit loud. Over all, a lovely place for Italian cuisine.
The menu is elaborate, but the four cheese pizza hardly had any cheese on it, ravioli was just okay, the service was NOT with a smile the only one smiling was the manager who was an expat on the plus side it's a place for a quiet evening with a few glasses of wine
Used to come here all the time, and shocking to know the menu has changed completely. Food is still good, but all the nice and fancy dishes are no longer available on the menu.
Underwhelming experience. The food was not bad, but does not justify the price (10 times the cost of a Vietnamese restaurant).
They served bread at the beginning, but with no butter, or oil, or nothing. Did not serve water while I waited for my guest.
I ordered the full meal option, but instead of getting a decent portion of gnocchi, followed by the fish, it all came on the same plate. Unsurprisingly the fish was undercooked (raw actually, in the middle), since it becomes difficult to match the cooking times for two guests and two courses in one serving.
Anyway, in the end they gave me a 10% discount, so at least some compensation.
I will continue trying to find a good Italian restaurant in Saigon, but this is not it.
This is the one place where the Italian food is excellent. The quality far exceeds other pizza and pasta restaurants, that claim to be authentic Italian! It is just like those great small restaurants in Brooklyn, New York City, Jersey or Philly. Outstanding service! A place to definitely take a a lady to for lunch or dinner. Excellent ambience, and proper decor!
I was really worried about an Italian restaurant on Asia based on past experiences but this place blew me away. The environment reminds me of several dining experiences in Italy. The food and wine were great. Nice oven for pizza and other snacks. Worth the trip.
Pizza was mediocre (speck & zola) and really greasy. We shared 1 pizza between 2 persons and though I can normally eat whole pizza easily this time 1/2 was more than enough. Antipasto was at least 2 days old and not good at all. Served with weird parsley/garlic sauce even though we asked for butter.

Espy Pizza is a pizzeria in Ho Chi Minh City that offers American-style pizza by the slice. The 50cm pizzas are pre-made and ready to be reheated, with toppings added upon ordering. While some find the cheese a bit light, the crispy crust and sufficient toppings make it worth the price. Customers can enjoy combos of slices and even cheese sticks reminiscent of those back home.
This place is amazing. I'm originally from Boston, and am a pizza lover. While I have loved my time in HCM, the biggest thing i missed was legit NYC/USA type of pizza. ESPY delivers big time! Amazing sauce, correct cheese, real pepperoni, and most importantly, amazing dough!!! And they deliver to D2 which is even better. In short, if you love USA style pizza, this place is a must .

Pretty authentic and good New York style pizza. While the pizza is a little light on the cheese for my tastes, the crust is done crispy and other toppings are sufficient for the price. Love how they have combos, by the slice, by 4 and 8 slices, etc... Their cheese sticks taste just like the frozen one's back home haha. Also the place needs better AC as it gets really hot while eating there.
One the best american pizza in town! Though I'd like to see way more pepperoni on those pizza!!! I feel cheated everytime I buy a pepperoni pizza, which is a shame because it's my favorite pizza! Other than that, you won't find better american pizza...

ESPY pizza is great! You can see all the by-the-slice options that are already made on the counter (which they will heat up for you) or order your own. They also have Parmesan and spices to add to your slice if you need a little something extra! Great friendly service; I'll return here when in Ho Chi Minh!
It maybe one of the better pizza joints in Vietnam but it tastes nothing like East Coast pizza. I say this not out of respect but for those that get their hopes up like I did. It tastes like the generic American mall type pizza.
They've recently raised their prices and quality and service seems to have dipped. I don't feel that you get what you pay for any more. 59,000 for a slice of cheese pizza? You can get a really good whole pizza for the price of 2 of their slices elsewhere.

The food here is always consistently delicious and the restaurant can accommodate most vegan requests. We got two pizzas with no cheese, still fantastic. There are 3 different pizza options (mushroom, eggplant and kale) that can be turned vegan. Have not tried the kale yet but it looks delicious.
This is our go to restaurant because it is super family friendly and accommodating for our little 1 year old. I've been to this location about 6 times and every time I feel the staff try and go above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable.
This particular time, we got free dessert because they thought our table was too small. It wasn't. But they do stuff like that to make us feel special everytime.

After my meal one of the waiters came up to us and asked me to give the restaurant a review which I was quite happy to do. I gave a 4 star cause that’s that’s what I saw fit, the food was good and the service was quite excellent. After I gave a 4 the waiter came up and asked me to change it to a 5 star which I feel is a pretty scummy thing to do so watch out maybe the other 5 stars are also from ppl who were asked to bring up their rating, still quite good.

Pizza 4P's Ben Thanh is a popular and luxurious pizza restaurant located near the Ben Thanh Street Food Market in Ho Chi Minh City. They open at 11, and although they have many outlets, I went to the one right next to Ben Thanh Market. I arrived around 11:30, but there was already a long queue! The staff asked us to write down our name and phone number, so we did — and waited about 35 minutes for our table.
While waiting, you can grab some fresh juice from the corner (a nice way to kill time!). Finally, we got our table and ordered a half & half pizza — such a great choice if you want to try two different flavors — plus one spaghetti bolognese. For drinks, we had a passion fruit and lemon something (sorry, I totally forgot the full name 😅).
Overall, everything was really good! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the ambiance was cozy and welcoming. Oh — and you must check out their bathroom! Seriously… it’s clean, comfy, and filled with all the little amenities you might need.
The sweetest surprise? They gave us a complimentary yogurt because we couldn’t get a table inside. 🥹💛

It was a busy day but we got in after 20 mins (you write down your name and phone number and the staff calls you when it’s available so that you don’t have to stand there and wait). The staff was very nice and helpful every step of the process and really went out of their way to make sure we have everything we need and spoke good English. The food was very good, the staff made sure that it came in the order we asked for and that we had enough time between each meal. Each meal was delicious, the fresh pasta in carbonara and quality ingredients were really standing out. The appetizer was refreshing and really set the mood for an amazing evening to come. Would definitely recommend the place.

All the staff are nice from the time we arrived. I suggest to book a reservation to be sure. When we arrived, we needed to wait around 10 minutes. But the front of the house entertained us while we wait.

Well curated offers, delicious dishes. Staff looks friendly, happy & with the smile showing that love what they’re doing despite having to deal with massive crowd throughout the day.
Only downside is normally not being able to make same day reservation, but understand that’s to control the guest volume in the restaurant, smart move on this!
And the Queue system helped!

I had such a great time with my friends while having dinner at this restaurant. The food was good and the service was very caring to customers, especially on Mr Chi Long's shift had brought us joyfulness and fulfilment. Indeed, I would choose this one to be one of my favourite places to come and enjoy again in future.
Thanh hùng has given us exceptional service through-out our meal. He had helped us connecting to the wifi, aldo let me connect my macbook to the wifi. Helped us store luggage while we ate, as we were headed to the airport right after. 10/10 service. The food was absolutely amazing, for starter we had the cheese platter, which was great and for main we had the mushroom soup was very good as well as our pizza. For sure, when i return to vietnam in the future i will be back

This was a very cute find however I have to be honest with my review. The service was perfect our waitress was so kind, the atmosphere was very nice and intimate, that being said I found the food a little bit of a let down.
The bruschetta was a 10/10 and the tiramisu was very tasty (excuse the picture it was getting absolutely demolished), but for our mains, while the presentation was stunning unfortunately just lacked flavor. We opted for a gnocchi dish where the sauce had split unfortunately and a penne dish, they weren’t bad by any means but just a bit bland
On the plus can report that our stomachs are good after the meal and no signs of food poisoning, signifies good food processing and handling and good restaurant hygiene

If you are in Ho Chi Minh City and you are hungry for lasagna, you have to go to Vittorio! This lasagna was seriously the best I have ever tasted in my entire life! So cheesy so creamy with béchamel and so meaty all at once! We ordered a second round of lasagna because the first was so delicious! Both times the dish came out with bubbling hot cheese. Super Duper delicious! Thank you!

I recently tried Italiani's Pizza and was blown away by the quality of the food. They serve pretty good Pizza, Salad, Calzone. The pizzas have their own style like 4 cheese pizza and seafood pizza.
I really like this place. The toppings were fresh and flavorful. The Calzone was also delicious. The staff named Trân was also very enthusiastic, friendly and supports my brothers and I in the ordering process.
I haven't tried the pasta and beer yet but will be back another time.

Wide selection of Pizzas, pastas and finger food.
What makes Buzza different from the rest of the chain Pizzeria on the market is their all-fresh ingredients, the perfect sauce on top of the freshly made pizza paste (not frozen paste like many Pizzerias in town). All calculated at right proportions to give the perfect pizza baked burning hot arriving at your table.
A small down-side is the confusion of their promotions.
One should review the menu and the promotions on the web before ordering food as the staff tends to throw you over the hills with tons of recommendations in preference to their sales, not according to your needs, as experienced with the staff at Buzza branch in Nguyen Trung Truc dist 1.

The restaurant is inside a supermarket, therefore have a good parking place. But the road right ahead can be very crowded during rush hour, so plan your visit carefully.
The food is quite diverse and taste well. It has more authentic pizza than normal chains, and many side dishes are quite fun. It also have great discounts for members, so don't forget to signup.
The salad was great - it was really big! Pizza was okay, but for the price you can get better elsewhere. No craft beers are available at this store even though they are on the menu 🙄 They did a weird thing with the water on the bill, so we had to pay in two separate transactions 🤷♂️ The food was edible, but won't go back there & don't recommend it.

Apparently this is supposed to be a family restaurant. They have trap music blasting and the parents are letting the kids run everywhere without any order. The only thing positive from the visit is the salad. Senior Management needs to start playing a more active role in this location or else it will not last.

We ordered a BBQ bacon sandwich, chicken sandwich, and house salad.
The BBQ sandwich is absolutely fantastic for its money. Really thick, juicy patty. The buns are nice, slightly crispy, and full of flavor.
The chicken sandwich... hmm I'm a bit of a chicken snob so I maybe unfair to the restaurant. I still wouldn't use chicken breast for a sandwich (thigh is where it's at). That said, the restaurant does the chicken justice. The cutlet is thin and wide so the marinade has a lot to work with here. The breading is flavorful and crispy. The pickle adds acidity to offset any dryness from the chicken breast. Speaking of, that's some great quality chicken meat. I can still taste flavor from the meat itself, absent the breading and surface marinade.
Now the salad. My biggest complaint is that the salad doesn't deliver the value it should have. It's priced at 160k vnd, just 20k shy off the full burger combo, but you can't really have the salad as a complete meal by itself. It's presented well but it's essentially a bowl of chopped veggies with a single soft boiled egg sliced up in small wedges... plus salad dressing.

I really think they can do better here for that price. I would have loved some small strips of chicken, corn, or even cubes of soft tofu. Something more to justify the 160k price tag you know.
That said, I have to give this to them. The veggies quality is great. Being a consumate veggies eater nomming half a kilo of leafies per day I should know. The lettuce is crisp, fresh, and sweet. I actually ate most of the salad without the dressing, which I think it doesnt need. The veggies have more than enough flavor by themselves.
We had amazing pizza here. We got the chicken pesto and wow, it’s some of the best pizza we’ve had in HCMC. The prices were really reasonable too for the quality/quantity we got. We shared one 40cm and one 30cm pizza between three people and we were full by the end of the meal. The owner is very welcoming and the staff are friendly. Definitely coming back! 💯

Just some quotes of the banter at last nights family dinner at Brick and Barrel. I’d heard the rumors, I’d seen the marketing on socials, I’d read the reviews, and I’d even met and spoken to the owner in Phong Nha when he was there photographing wildlife. Yes he is a wildlife fanatic too.
And, this place exceeded our high expectations. My cousin and I went halves in a Brick and Barrel Burger and a Brick and Barrel Pizza (the large one) and they were both excellent.
The kids went chicken burgers. They were both super happy. One had to remove some pickles, but he said it was the best ever.
The little general ordered a sausage platter. I helped her with it. It was huge, but the Pizza, talking bị pizzas, was mammoth. And so good. Excellent Piza sauce and quality toppings. Lovely base too. Loved the whole experience. 5*. We’ll be back and recommend to our guests heading Saigon way!
It's a real shame because it had great potential but unfortunately our garlic bread with cheese didn't have much cheese on and then our large pizza (half and half) was burnt - 4 cheese more like crispy no cheese. However the mozzarella dipper were very nice. Overall it was very expensive for what it was, not worth it and wouldn't return

Craft beer price is reasonable but limited also due to the size of the bistro . Mainly serving 7 bridges on tap which contains 5 taps and one on rotation basis and others in bottles .
If you are around the area and don’t mind a good pizza with a handful selection of pizza I would highly recommend it

Firstly the food is amazing. While being a pizza restaurant, the pastas are fantastic. We got the signature non crab spaghetti and I (being a meat eater) found it really tasty. Even the vegetarian zucchini pesto pizza was my favourite.
The kombucha’s were good. The honey whey tasted like a stale beer so I’d skip that if I were you. The passion fruit one was great.
However the best thing about the restaurant was the service. We were seated outside which was fine but it started raining and we got offered to change tables and got given a complimentary dessert which was really tasty as well.
After we were waiting for our Grab I heard the service staff offer complimentary drinks to a couple who were waiting for a table (for a long time) by the waiting area. That’s service. It costs nothing to serve some drinks but really enhances the customer’s experience.

Our first visit we didnt have a booking and were seated at the bar. It felt like our own unique dining experience, it was amazing to watch the chefs in action!
We loved the food and service so much we returned for lunch on our last day. Highly recommend for the ambience, food and service.
Thankfully my fiancé and I made a reservation because wow the crowd! The whole ambience and vibe of the restaurant was truly exquisite and it felt very cozy. We ordered the baked mashed potatoes, truffle and burrata pie, clam chowder, crab pasta & pizza! The true stars of the night were definitely the pie and crab pasta! It was SO yummy and the portions were just right!!
Now onto dessert, we ordered the fondant chocolate cake which was absolutely DIVINE. We really loved it and would definitely go back again for more! We also ordered the tiramisu but personally, we like our tiramisu strong in terms of the coffee liquor BUT this was light and suitable after a heavy meal!

Hands down one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to — and I’m saying that from Vietnam! Every single dish was phenomenal, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Pizza 4P’s really impressed me. The staff were warm, welcoming and genuinely attentive, which set the tone right away. It’s a popular spot, so having a booking helps, but even without one the wait wasn’t too bad thanks to the size of the restaurant.
The space itself looks great. Clean, modern and stylish without feeling overly fancy. I went for the half and half pizza so I could try more than one topping. I chose the spicy prawn on one side and the scallop on the other. The pizzas are proper wood fired and you can taste that difference. The spicy prawn was the standout for me. Packed with flavour and a good level of heat. The scallop one looked good but needed more flavour to match the other half.
I also ordered the carbonara. The presentation was incredible and almost looked like one of those plastic display dishes. It had a truffle note to it, which isn’t my favourite, but in terms of texture and creaminess it was excellent.
Overall, it’s a great spot for pizza and pasta. You walk out satisfied, and the quality feels consistent. Definitely worth visiting if you want something comforting and well made in Vietnam.

Came here for date night with my boyfriend and had such a lovely time. We sat upstairs with a view of the downstairs and between the twinkling lights and light rain bouncing off the roof, it felt very cozy and romantic.
We ordered the diavola and rustica pizza and both were delicious. We really enjoyed how authentic this pizza is - my boyfriend swears it’s just like the pizza he had in Naples, Italy and says this is the best pizza spot in Vietnam. We also shared the tiramisu at the end and that was very lovely.
I want to really commend this place on their staff. Every person we encountered was SO attentive and nice - from the parking attendant, to the host, to the several servers we interacted with. Genuinely some of the best service we’ve ever received in Vietnam.

I really struggled between 3 or 4 stars for Red & Round. I had fond memories of frequenting this restaurant during the pandemic days and really looked forward to our meal here.
On this visit, the Carni pizza was fantastic. The crust was thick enough and baked to slightly crispy, but still with a chew.
The rest of the meal is the reason for removing 2 stars. The sauce for the porcini tagliatelle was strange. The wine in the sauce was heavy and didn’t taste quite right. The sausage was kind of like meatballs. The salad came out last and that was fine because the waitress had already given us a heads up that it would take 10 minutes, but it was flavorless. Kind of like a bunch of ingredients thrown together.
I settled with 3 stars because while I would have the pizza here again, it’s not just a pizza place. Perhaps it was just an off day and the pasta and salad are usually good, but we don’t get to go out for meals often nowadays,, so I’m afraid that I left pretty disappointed.
For the record, the server was really nice. And the restaurant was clean and comfortable.

Red & Round is one of the top spots in District 7 for real Italian pizza. The crust is perfectly thin and crisp with a rich, wood-fired flavor. Toppings are generous and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients — every bite is satisfying.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, great for both casual meals and date nights. The staff are friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. We had the Vitello appetizer and Lasagna — both were excellent, especially the Vitello with its subtle spicy kick.
If you’re looking for true Italian cuisine in Saigon, Red & Round is a must-visit.
I rarely eat pizza, so when I do—it better be good. Red & Round delivers a pretty solid pizza experience for Vietnam. Every dish we ordered held up, and nothing disappointed.
For the local context, they earn a well-deserved 5 stars.

Disappointed – Not What It Used to Be
Sadly, Red and Round is no longer what it used to be. We recently ordered a pizza via Grab and were very disappointed with what we received. The pizza lacked quality ingredients and had barely any toppings—it honestly looked nothing like what they used to serve.
We contacted the restaurant to let them know and even sent a photo of the pizza (which speaks for itself). Unfortunately, the response we got was dismissive: "What is wrong with the pizza?" It was clear they had no real interest in addressing the issue, which only added to the frustration.
This place used to serve authentic, delicious pizzas, but with new ownership, it’s clear the quality has gone downhill. Cheap ingredients, skimpy toppings, and poor customer service.
Sharing this so others know what to expect. Hopefully, they turn things around—but for now, we won’t be ordering again.

Absolutely loved the salad with truffle oil – it was bursting with flavor and a real highlight! The slow-cooked pork, while beautifully prepared, was a touch too salty for our taste. However, the service was good. The staff were attentive and understanding, going above and beyond by offering to adjust the dish and ultimately not charging us for it. Despite the minor issue with the pork, the fantastic salad & tiramisu and good service made for a positive experience overall.
Having meals in this restaurant sometimes and it has became my favorite place, it actually brings the taste of Italian cuisine in every dishes. I have tried many dishes in the restaurant vary from pizza to pasta, and the desert is actually amazed me aswell with the size of it 😂.
My prefer choices are pasta carbonara and steak pizza which is the new dish, and for me it's a must try flavour. The waiters and waitress are very nice and the boss there also taking care of customers very well, so it's bring customers the pleasant feeling.
It's certainly a hidden gem of D7 for selling good pizza for me. There is a new menu with some more new dishes are coming, i'll be back to try 🤩

Italiani's Pizza F5 Diamond Plaza is a popular Italian restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City known for its authentic wood-fired pizzas and Italian-inspired dishes. Food was so good I come back today for dinner again. Ordered onion rings, pumpkin soup for appetizer and ribs and chicken pesto for main course, all were good.
Was waited by Kate today and was impressed with her English and her energy throughout the meal.

The food is amazing, pizza is superb. I would really come back here more often. The view is remarkable you can see the whole Ho Chi Minh. Additionally, Kate customer service is one of a kind. One of the most delicious and amazing Western food restaurants for me, as a food lover, I would definitely recommend my friends and others to come to this place to have such amazing ribs and nice dishes. I want to give a big compliment to Ms Rosie whose service was beyond my expectations and she did provide an excellent service to our table. There’s nothing to complain about and definitely it’s worth both the experience and value for money.

I made a reservation online and luckily I did. They were full house. The dishes we ordered were good for 3-4 pax shares. Portions were not that big. Good to order many different dishes to try. Generally, we like all dishes. There was a long wait in between dishes. Other than that, no complaints. Service was good.
I am writing this review to highly commend the food and the staff at this restaurant. The meal was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable throughout our visit.
However, I feel compelled to mention an incident I witnessed yesterday that was deeply unfair to the business. Another party of two guests, after having completely finished their meals and consumed other beverages, began to loudly and aggressively complain because the restaurant was temporarily out of still water. They created a disruptive public scene, falsely claiming that the lack of water ruined their entire experience—an experience they had otherwise fully consumed and enjoyed.
It was a clear and dishonest attempt to bully the staff into getting a discount they did not deserve. To my dismay, the management or staff, likely in an effort to de-escalate the situation and maintain a peaceful environment for other diners, felt pressured to offer them a significant discount (I believe it was 50%).
While I understand the need for customer service, it was frustrating to see such bad-faith behavior rewarded. These individuals essentially dined and dashed in a more manipulative way. I hope this review serves as a record against such predatory actions. This restaurant deserves full payment for their fantastic food and service, not to be strong-armed by unscrupulous patrons.
We will definitely be back for the amazing food, and we truly hope the management finds ways to protect themselves from such blatant attempts at fraud in the future.
It's in the mid range price wise, but all was very good. Had no booking but that was no issue( they were super busy) we got a seat, service was very good food was fresh and tasty. Well done all involved, very nice.

This Viet Nam restaurant is actually the talk of the town so we decided to give it a shot. The mains were superb with lots of flavors. I was so delighted to enjoy the local cuisine of Viet Nam.
Moreover, the service was speedy as we had the reservation in advance. However, they didn’t seem so professional.
Of all places I've eaten in Saigon on this trip, Quan Bui has by far the greatest range of tasty food from across the country. Thu was a delightful host, enhancing the already nostalgic vibe of the restaurant, which is tastefully decorated with artwork, silk lanterns, and artifacts.

However, there was one slightly odd thing: our first round of cocktails were served in large glasses, but when we ordered the same drinks again, they came in much smaller glasses. We asked the bartender about it, and he simply said "it's just the glass," which was a bit confusing.

I'm a die-hard fanatic for Italian food , so I was excited to try out Basilico.
I went there for lunch and the restaurant was packed as the space was quite small.
Now onto the food , I can't believe how subpar everything I had.. We ordered Burrata salad , 200g steak tenderloin with truffle mash , carbonara , seafood spaghetti, and tiramisu.
The most disappinting dishes were the pastas. They were SO bad. Both were overcooked and mushy. The pasta shape looked like cooked ramen lol, and despite I ordered 1 spaghetti and 1 fetuccine - both of my pastas came out to be the exact shape. The seafood w/ tomato sauce pasta was so salty , had too much sauce. The carbonara was so bland , I think they forget to put any seasoning in. I haven't had bad pasta in a while !!
The burrata salad was alright but quite bland. The steak was quite mealy, but the truffle mash potato was tasty.
Overally, mediocre food and preparation , awful pasta. My bill total was 2.1VNDmillions PRE VAT and SVC , which was super expensive for the quality.... luckily I had my Marriott club vouchers so the total came down to 600k.
The Opera restaurant in Park Hyatt provides a much upscale, quite atmosphere, with nicely cooked Italian food at the same price range.
After renovation, I think the place is greatly upgraded. I was having family lunch so I did not bother to take much photos, but my risotto has rich flavor of the sea. Pricing and portion is much more appropriate. Staffs remember our frequent habits to carefully confirm before serving.
We used the credit card gift to exchange the set menu. Generally, food is ok, not too surprising. The size is big.

We split a majority of the following dishes, and I would gladly recommend all of them. The steak dinner option, lump crab pasta, 2 pizzas (basilico and 4 cheese options), Caesar salad with prawns, mushroom risotto, chocolate ice cream, tiramisu, lava cake, and a banana foster.
The platings, flavors, and time in which everything came out was spot on. I personally cannot wait to come back and try more options.

Mekong Merchant has been my go-to place for brunch for so long, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, perfect for lazy weekend mornings. The food is consistently delicious from hearty breakfasts to fresh, flavorful salads always made with quality ingredients. One of the best croisant in town. After so many years, it still feels like home and remains my number one choice for brunch in Thảo Điền.

Highly recommend this Italian restaurant located in central Thao Dien. The menu consists of traditional pasta and pizza dishes done very well. Today, we came for their “Sunday Brunch” event, which we reserved in advance. It’s priced at 980,000 VND per person (with a 20% discount for early reservations).
For reference, it seems like this event is only held on special occasions.

I reserved a table through the Dining City app and received confirmation quickly by both email and message, very convenient and professional. The restaurant’s ambience is beautiful, warm, and elegant, perfect for a relaxing evening. We were served welcome food and freshly baked bread, which were both delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel comfortable throughout our meal.
One small issue I chose to sit outdoors because I love the open-air setting, but unfortunately there were some insects that bit me quite a lot. My foot became quite irritated the next day with many red spots.
Despite that, the food and service were excellent, and I would definitely come back again. Overall, it’s a wonderful dining experience at the restaurant.

Few days ago, my family want to went out for dinner so we look forward to find the restaurant is private and quite place. After heard so many comments from friends and review in tiktok we decided to choose Ottimo House. We were surprised that is the nice place, the small restaurant inside Lotte Hotel (5 stars hotel in HCMC), luckily the day we came they changed the menu, food are delicious with beautiful and luxurious presentation. Me and my parents so impressive with the staff here very enthusiastic and thoughtful. The waiter was very attentive and helpful. Cleaned everything away as soon as we finished. Rearranged plates for more room. The owner was around too and a joy to talk to.
I did really like, they didn't want to talk us into something expensive. They told us about their daily offer.

Really enjoy the time we had here since all members from restaurant owner to chef to staff all came to us to ask whether the food was good, whether we needed anything or not. Very kind and supportive of them! They also have live acoustic music. That's why I will rate 5 star, hope they will keep up their good job and improve more in the future.
We went for dinner on last Saturday, the restaurant has a discount 50% on beef steak. The beef is really tender, served with pate (which is a little bit salty). The mashed potato is not really smooth, still have some tiny pieces of potatoes, however the taste is on spot.

I ordered through their delivery website. With 15% off for direct order delivery and a difference in Grab menu prices, it's quite a bit cheaper than ordering through Grab (even with the 30K/$1.20, based on my distance, delivery fee).
I had a Chef's Beef (270K/$10.65). I wish I had looked up "giardiniera" - I had thought it was a type of cheese. The celery and carrots (from the giardiniera) did not go well in the sandwich, in my opinion. The sandwich seemed to be just in a bánh mì roll and not garlic bread. The beef was pretty well stuffed, but it didn't have much flavor, just "beefy." About a 6 in (or 5 in) sandwich.
Had a deep dish Meat Tornado (430K/$16.95 for the large). It was a deep dish, but it was more dough than cheese and sauce; egg-floury dough. I almost ordered extra cheese, but thought there would be enough as it was, actually not a lot of cheese. The sauce and meat toppings were good.
I had a Top 50 in Asia pizza in D7 not long ago, which was much cheaper (although a different style) that tasted better. This one's okay, but for the price a little more than I'd want to pay to get it again.

Finally scratched a long overdue itch. I had been umming and aaahing for months on going to this place or not as I had never tried the deep dish style of pizza before (not including Chicago Town microwave ones).
I was warmly greeted by the manager and also warmly greeted and taken to the 1st floor by the waitress. The staff here were great, super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
There were what looked like a couple of expat regulars who were sat at the bar on the ground floor who both on the way in and out were giving off "What's this guy doing in our bar?" rude/unfriendly vibes. But that isn't the restaurant's fault.
I ordered a coke zero, mozerella sticks with marinara sauce and the sausage/pepperoni small size deep dish at a total cost of about 502k vnd.
First, the mozza sticks, the breading was well seasoned and the cheese was super stretchy but the sauce lacked flavour and felt like it had come from a watered down tin. 6/10.
Next the pizza, the meats were the right balance of salty and sweet, the cheese and sauce were well flavoured and the base was reasonable. Although the crusts were a tad cakey. 7/10.
The atmosphere? Well there wasn't really one. Frosty downstairs from the regulars and I was the only person sat upstairs. Albeit it is a small place and I was there early (from about 5:20pm until 6pm).
So my overall impression? Did I love it? No. But, did I like it? Yes. However personal preference now that I have tried deep dish, I enjoy Neapolitan style much much more.

Small NY Deli pizza decor. I am not giving it 5 because of the variety of options is limited. The pizza is good and on par with NY style. Not the best in Saigon. I reserve that for East Borough but if you are in D1 near Bui Vien it hits the spot.
Now the reason why I dinged it. The atmosphere is missing. Small place but kind of bland. Best for take out or grabbing a slice. The slices was quite limited to what is out there. There isn't enough turnover to have fresh slices coming out to have other options.
The ordering of pizza is limited to 1 size which is only a very large pie which could easily feed 4. So if you come as a couple or single you are limited to only slices of which are already out.
I think this place is right on par with pizza 4p. Obviously, the atmosphere at Pizza4P is way better, but then the price is higher. So if you're just looking at getting food for your money , I think this is a better deal.

The friendly service and delectable truffle fries make for a delightful experience. The Le Than Ton location in District 1 provides a cozy atmosphere on its third floor. Meanwhile, the second venue on Dong Du Street is larger and brighter but maintains the same quality of beers and food.
This place has a great selection of craft beers, and many of them have even won international awards. My favorite is the Yuzu beer — I never skip it whenever I come here!
The food menu is also diverse, with Western dishes adjusted to fit the Vietnamese palate. Lots of choices for everyone, though I do wish they added a fruit plate to round out the meal.
The space is cozy and comfortable, perfect for hanging out and chatting with friends. The staff are super friendly and attentive, and one nice touch is that you can even sample a beer before deciding which one to order.

This place has 3 levels of dining and the top floor is where the big kitchen is located.
We were walking around the city and stumbled on 7 Bridges. I stopped on to “sample” a beer then be on my way. They handed us a menu and decided to
also try a slice of pizza. I’ve spent most of my life in Atlanta, GA where the pizza is not very good so comparing to what I’ve been experiencing this pizza is top notch. We shared a slice of barbecue chicken and I give it five stars. This slice was cooked perfectly, it had bite. Be sure to ask for the Dragon Hot Sauce which is great for dipping the crust. As for the beer, I had the Nếp Cẩm which is a black rice lager. I found this to be a refreshing drinking beer on a hot day. So much better than Tiger beer and the other local brews. I also tried the cốm xanh Hà Nội. This is a green rice beer that is perfectly suited to my tastes since I love a good Hefeweizen. I recommend stopping here if you’re in the neighborhood looking to socialize and grab a good beer and maybe some pizza.

5 adults and 4 boys turned up to one of our favourite restaurants and the staff was delightful! Kha, in particular, was thoughtful and friendly throughout. Paying close attention to our requests and even to the little ones dropping their fork or spilling water, he was quick to respond and ensure any mess was cleared and the meal went on smoothly so we could carry on conversations without much interruption. I noticed he was also helpful to his peers who were not as familiar with English as he was, he would deftly step in to assist with our requests without making them feel bad. The rare afternoon catching up with dear friends who had flown in from different countries was all the more lovely with Kha moving swiftly behind the scenes. Thank you!!

Service is very attentive, servers are constantly checking in and refilling water and clearing the table. Food came in a reasonable time. The option of trying half a pizza at a time is wonderful for trying a bulk of the menu without committing to one flavour, and each one tasted unique and not like it was the same base with a switched topping.
The decor and ambiance of the restaurant is serene and it is clear that whoever curated the restaurant aesthetics has a very good eye for it, as every item of decor merges beautifully into the space and adds a touch of luxury to the dining experience. It was nice as well to watch the pizzas being made with the wood fire oven and pizza kitchen on display. This restaurant is perfect for a dinner date and really exceeded my expectations for a chain pizza place.

Generally good food with some areas of improvement. I enjoy Neapolitan style of pizzas. Cheeses were great. Tandoori chicken pizza was on the sweeter side for my tasting. I came to Pizza 4P’s Saigon Pearl on my birthday (October 12), and it was such a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the squid ink risotto. The waitress was super friendly and thoughtful — she even surprised me with a birthday ice cream and a “Welcome to Vietnam” ice cream.

There was a storm came through while we were seated outside, the staff was quickly and smoothly moved us inside and continued with the food service. Very professional and friendly. They even apologise for the moved even though it was not their fault at all!

Making reservation in advance is a must to ensure you have a comfortable table. Sometimes I couldn't understand why their staffs always guided the walk-in customers to the open air area during noon time (which is very hot and less convenient) while there were still a lot of available table in the indoor area. Great little hotel. It was clean and the room i chose was spacious, all necessary equipment is there, the bath room is quite big too. It can be a bit noisy at time during the day but at night it's no problem.
The location is super close to the airport. Lots of good foods and nice cafes nearby. You can even take a grab bike or Xanh SM bike if you just have a small luggage. If you stay here and want to go to District 1 (city center), avoid close to rush hours because the traffic is a nightmare and it will take an hour.

Again, the crust and ingredients were great, but it had way too much tomato sauce and very little cheese, leaving only a sour tomato taste. After we complained, they offered to swap for a medium pizza, but we just asked them to add cheese. Overall, despite good cooking and quality ingredients, the flavors were poorly balanced. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on our experience.
