Best place to have dinner in my opinion!!! If you’re looking for fresh seafood with one of the best House Sauce you could ever be served with, Crab House will definitely satisfy that. Super memorable for us, and a huge shout out to Lea and Vy for being great servers. Thank you for such a memorable visit, and we really hope to come back before we go home.

Food was okay. Seafood might not be of the best quality in town, but they have their unique sauce that we love. So if you want something different, try this! Service is top notch. Kudos to Phuc for his very tentative and great serving to our table.

Second visit!! It is the best dining place in Phu Quoc. We went to a lot of seafood restaurants but it is the best and this is the second visit. We want to visit this place again and that’ll be one of the main reason to come back to Phu Quoc!! Highly recommend this place!!!

The seafood boil was fresh and flavorful, the fried crab was crispy and rich, and the spring rolls were light and refreshing. A perfect mix of texture and taste!

If we’re in Phu Quoc and haven’t been to Crab House yet, are we even really living—or just quietly existing without garlic butter? Walking into this place feels like getting a warm hug from Poseidon himself. The vibe screams “we take our seafood seriously, but we’ll still laugh at your plastic bib.” And trust us—we needed the bib. The King Crab showed up drenched in a sauce so divine, we briefly considered proposing. That Crab House Sauce doesn’t whisper flavor. It belts power ballads. With harmonies. We came in hungry and left spiritually fulfilled… and lightly buttered. The Cajun crawfish had us questioning our loyalty to shrimp. The garlic butter shrimp had us questioning everything else. Sure, prices lean upscale—but honestly, it felt like Poseidon himself plated our meal. Worth every shiny dong. If crustaceans had a celebrity icon, Crab House would be the Beyoncé of crab joints. We came. We cracked. We conquered. And we’d do it again without hesitation.

We started with fresh, flavorful oysters a perfect way to open the meal. The main highlight was the fresh seafood paired with Crabhouse’s signature sauce, beautifully complemented by warm bread. Every bite was rich and satisfying. The staff were friendly and attentive, the space was stylish and comfortable, complete with air-con for a truly relaxing dining experience.

Nhà hàng Biển Xanh has a lovely view, making it a pleasant spot for dining. However, the food did not live up to the high prices. It was quite overpriced for what was essentially average fare with nothing particularly special or memorable. While the setting is nice, the value for money just wasn’t there. If you’re looking for great food, you might want to explore other options.

They messed up every order, waited an hour and just half the orders actually arrived at the table but then they tried to charge us for all the food. Even with translate they don’t understand, so don’t recommend this for none Vietnamese speakers

Nothing too special here, just a good spot to get some shade and a drink. The views of the ocean are nice. The main reason we came here was to use the bathrooms, which are squatting style toilets. Me and my partner ordered the seafood fried rice and two milk coffees, the food was average. The rice contained mainly squid and only 2 shrimp. We won't be returning here, I would suggest that you just make the motorbike trip back to the Western side of Phu Quoc, the food there is fresher and better priced.

Guys I visit this restaurant after 12 days in island and is the first time i really enjoyed food. Very tasty seafood and to be honest I didn’t expect that. Definitely I’ll visit again next time

The crab is fresh but not too much meat. The way that staff cooked crabs was not nice. I was a little bit disappointed since I saw many good feedback from visitors for this restaurant. Many staffs but not professional in service.

Food is fine, not really good. The atmosphere is good for big group of friends. However, it's really bad for families with kids because people here often say bad words. Price is too high. I'm not recommend it.

It's vermicelli with papaya, soyascheuten, coconut milk, and fish. It's a fresh and light dish for this hot weather. The combination of flavors is perfectly balanced. This dish started more than 30 years ago. A real original place that starts with. For just 30.000 dong! Everyone who are in this island should try this. You can rarely find this meal on other city.

Bun Ken is definitely a dish to check out while ur here!!! (its really only in this region as its one of their specialties here - not many other areas of vietnam makes it!) these guys also do Bun Nham, a Ha Tien specialty this place is a pretty well known spot for Bun Ken. and it's well known for good reasons! its delicious!!!! seating is all on low tables and stools, situated outdoors but undercover a very local style dining place but definitely worth a stop by! and at only 30k a bowl! what a steal!

Best place for breakfast (or lunch if you prefer) on the whole island! They serve local specialty with coconut curry and sea food for a long time. Mix everything before you eat it and you will have the taste of a tropical island in one bowl :) It all comes fast, served from lovely hosts and for a very good price. you also get a decent coffee here. Try it. I loved it so much.

Interesting and tasty variant of Bun. Coconut curry flavoured ground fish with Bun noodles is a fresh burst of flavour at a very reasonable price. This place is only open 6 am to noon. We were fortunate showing up as they were shutting down at about 12:20. They ladies smilingly agreed to feed us at that time. Very good value for money at 30,000 vnd for a bowl. For two of us with drinks (OJ and a coconut based drink) was 85,000 vnd. It's not fancy at that price but the bun was terrific. Will definitely return next time in Phu Quoc.

What can I day about this place, AMAZING!!! the two dishes there serve are incredible, so tasty and fresh. Not sure if it's a couple who run the place but both are so so friendly. My wife and I absolutely loved it, we loved it so much we're going to go back for breakfast again. They're only open fro. 0600-1200 so get down there early you'll not be disappointed!!!

Well deserved 5 stars, great atmosphere and the food was an explosion of flavour in your mouth. Highly recommend A5 wagyu, striploin, crab fried rice, grilled abalone, skewer set and the crispy salmon skin. Desserts to die for - mochi balls and Hien's custard Would return from Aust!

A fantastic evening, culinary delights and excellent drinks, especially ending the evening on a bottle of umeshu. Staff extremely friendly, and very helpful when choosing dishes. Would highly recommend.

It's a very nice restaurant that's probably easy to miss since it's located along a lot of restaurants. Great food and atmosphere. Not too crowded and the staff is very friendly. The food is very good. Amazing grill meat options. Good wine selections as well. Went there twice and was not disappointed. Keep it up and will visit again soon.

The ordered meals arrived very quick and all our meals was delicious. All the waiters was very helpful and serve a good service. In total I recommend this restaurant.

We had one of our most memorable meals on the island at this lively, dinner-only hotspot. Craving a hearty, high-quality meat feast, we couldn’t have picked a better spot! We treated ourselves to an indulgent spread, starting with charcoaled edamame—simple yet packed with flavor—followed by fresh scallops and tender baby abalone. Hands down the best restaurant we went to in Phu Quoc. Best meal and really lovely staff. It’s a Japanese charcoal grill located in the city, the owners put so much thought into the place to make it hip and the menu to encapsulate the ingredients of Phu quoc with their interesting take. They are the same owners of the speakeasy bar next door, and started the evening with their “homemade” mint umeshu, at the recommendation of the lovely staff. They speak amazing English. We had their best seller to start- the grilled beef meltique striplion, boy ……. The dish melts in your mouth and was simply AMAZING - salivating as I write and think about it. We then had their skewer trio which had pork, chicken, beef, bacon, veggies and squid. The squid and pork was amazing. We then moved to the Australian strip loin but it could not compete with the first Japanese striploin we had. For sides we got a seared beef salad which was amazing and the crush cucumber which was refreshing and crunchy. The grilled abalone was also fresh, reasonably priced and very well seasoned. The gyoza cake with an extremely tasty sauce. Some misses included their chicken wings, beef udon - udon was too sweet, had to add soy and sake and some chili flakes to make it to our taste. We ended the mains with their signature ramen dish which was very interesting. For dessert we got the panna cotta which came in a customized cracked egg dish, and a nest saucer - great presentation. The panna cotta was topped with fresh fruits. Amazing night and highly recommend a visit

Disappointing food, over rated stars and suspect no truth in the reviews. Cockles became bloody scallops in their menu and these are totally not fresh at all. Fortunately the staff are attentive enough to take the cockles back and cancel the orders. Kudos for the honesty. Then the oyster omelette have no oysters at all. While the sweet n sour pork rib are tough to chew. If you have to go then order the simplest stuff that cannot go wrong. Forget about seafood choices as you will be sorely disappointed

This restaurant has a relaxed and spacious setting, perfect for a casual meal with family or a group of friends. The atmosphere is comfortable with fans but could be improved if there was AC. Service was excellent – the staff were friendly and attentive, and our food arrived quickly. We ordered a selection of dishes to share, including the Canh Chua with Fish, Stir Fry Greens, and Lemongrass Pipis. The flavour profiles were generally well-balanced, though a little on the lighter side. This could easily adjusted with salt, pepper or soy sauce condiments on the table. The fish in the Canh Chua was slightly overcooked. The Stir Fry Greens, on the other hand, were cooked perfectly with a nice bite. My personal favourite dish was the Lemongrass Pipis. The flavour combination was well balanced and fragrant. The menu is extensive and can be overwhelming to read and pick. I recommend looking at pictures of the dishes online beforehand to ensure you know what you're ordering and will be happy with your choices. Overall enjoyable meal, value for money.

One of my go-to places on the island and will keep coming back here any next time I’m back to the island. Fresh seafoods as always, exceptional hygiene for a local Vietnamese restaurant (especially the toilets), very friendly and enthusiastic staffs, fast service, good atmosphere. The only comment to improve your foods is that for those garlic fried dishes or butter garlic fried dishes should you put less flour because the flour will make the food taste. Thats all, everything else there is almost perfect for me

Good lunch, we were taken here by our brother who works locally. Seafood is fresh and plentiful, prices mid-range. We thoroughly enjoyed Flower crabs, ca trinh salad and mushroom Tram soup with seafood, which apparently is a local delicacy. Oyster was big but not impressed. Lots of seating options, fast service, clean toilets. We had 1.8mil VND among 5 of us. Would recommend.

The staff were friendly and always served us promptly with our orders. There was a large TV in the main hall, but the atmosphere was pleasant and not too loud, and the food was also quite good. There were perhaps a few too many ice cubes in the orange juice, but other than that, we enjoyed our visit and can recommend this restaurant.

Very rich selection of fresh lobster, crab, ocean prawns, fish, scallops, mussels and other seafood that you can pick yourself and that is cooked right there. 5 star quality without MSG and other taste enhancers, only pepper and salt. Also has beef for seafood allergic people. Great service with swift cooking time.

I was delighted with this restaurant, the food was perfectly seasoned, the portions just right and they have a really large and varied selection. The icing on the cake is the wall by the sinks in the toilet, great idea!

Very good Bun Quay. A subtle broth that highlights the seafood and fish patty which are cooked excellently. The portion size is large, it's good value for money. There's a condiment / seasoning bar so you can custom make your own dipping sauces.

Came in for late lunch, very quiet. Massive restaurant with private A/C rooms. Ordered Ca kho, water crest soup, fish cake ( Phu Quoc) style, steam rice and 2 soda chanh. Bill came to a bit of over 700k. Quite pricey for simple Vietnamese dishes but we did sit in there private rooms with A/C. The dishes were well portioned and tasty.

This was during the holidays, so it was very busy. Absolutely bad service, totally understaffed. Waited 90 minutes didn't get all our drinks and they provided us with the wrong buffet. We gave up once we saw 4 tour groups turn up. If you know your going to be busy, get more staff on. If you know you don't have enough staff, maybe don't put out so many tables. Very, very disappointed.

Went on a Monday noon, price was not the cheapest, also not the most expensive. They had a price list in Vietnamese language on a board next to seafood tank, so I used Google translate to get a sense of the prices. They wouldn't offer any discount despite me bargaining, but the seafood are rather tasty and super fresh. Prawn mantis (mid size) =800k /kg Prawn mantis (Large size)=1,000k/kg Venus clams = 200k/kg Manila clams =250k/kg Fish=690k/kg. Only ordered 1 meat dish since this is a seafood place, roasted chicken stir fry with sweet sauce, 200k half chic, was too dry for my liking. Avoid garlic fried rice (large =150k) at all cost, rice is super dry, obviously stale rice cooked for days. The steamed white rice tasted ok. The vegetable (80k) stir fry with garlic was very fresh and tasty. All the seafood tasted good, except for meat and garlic rice. Softdrinks cost 20K/per bottle I will come again!

Hanh Nhung Restaurant is quite spacious and airy, offering both indoor and outdoor seating areas. I'd recommend sitting outside as it's close to the beach and offers a wide view. The food here is generally good, with fresh seafood, although the prices for alcohol and dishes are a bit high compared to the average - it's understandable to some extent given the touristy location. The staff are numerous and enthusiastic, but there are quite a few street vendors coming in to promote their goods. Overall, it's a place worth trying out for dining.

3.75. Only go with an experienced local. To make sure you get what you want and to pick the seafood. This place was highly recommended and I'm not really a seafood type of guy. Dishes were hit and miss. Some dishes were really nice, others were a good time to try new things. The buttered oysters and the steamed grouper were the highlights for me. Service levels were acceptable, always room for improvement. Would recommend you arrive before the dinner rush, so arrive before 5pm. It's laid back dining so plan around 3 hours for a small group.

I tried the 'Winston choice' with bourbon mustard sauce. OMG, it's sensational as has everything: mushrooms, onions, bacon, cheese. All burgers come with lettuce, tomato and onion. Peppercorns coating on burger lovely kick, with bourbon sauce, the ingredients all come togetherness to explode in your mouth. Fries were good, too. Enjoyed a chilled tap rooster Blone draft beer. Well worth the 5-minute walk from the main shop area, if need a burger hit.

Very much enjoyed the Winston's Choice burger and chilli cheese fries. The burger was nicely meaty with a good char and the peppercorn crust gave it good seasoning. The bacon added salt and I added blue cheese sauce with gave a nice funky sour tang. They make their own buns in house which are light and nicely toasted. The home style fries were loaded with toppings which was a meal in itself. Superb meal.

A very nice and welcoming family works or owns this place. The food was delicious, especially the burger! 👌😍 I especially remember the owner's little boy. He's 2.5 years old, his name is Sin. He's a very handsome, sweet, and cheerful child. 🥹 My wife and I had a great time playing with him, he really lifted up our mood. 😅

Not bad place. Very quiet with some reasonable music playing at not too loud level. Beer was refreshing after walking for miles in the hot sun. Drinking Rooster Blone beer, thankfully cold and will now order another one.

Couple of the best burgers I’ve ever had, “the Best Bacon Burger Ever“ & “the Mexican” which I had with a peppercorn crusted beef patty. Highly recommend the burgers and the fries are also very good, nice and golden crispy edges done just right. The reason I marked down the atmosphere is a few of the tables are a bit small and the chairs are wooden, not comfortable and it’s a covered outdoor space, which can be a bit too warm. Otherwise, the food was wonderful.

At best this place is just average yet very expensive on all their menu items. Another overpriced restaurant in Phu Quoc gouging at the transient tourist trade. On a positive note, the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls are flavoursome and delicious, though let down by the minuscule size and quantity - 5 tiny pieces for 89k. I also tried their Best Bacon Burger Ever which was a big disappointment and daresay a false claim with the name. The burger only contains 2x small pieces of Bacon and although the burger patty maybe made with 50% Bacon the taste is far from Bacon flavoured (just tasted the same as a normal patty). The burger will set you back 175k and doesn't even come with fries (they're extra at 40k for a tiny 150gm or 75k for 300gm). To enhance my burger I added extra cheese (which wasn't even melted properly) and sauteed mushrooms/onions. The mushrooms weren't even warm and tasted really bland and onions were only just cooked - they both certainly didn't seem to be sauteed at all. When they asked how my burger was I mentioned the fault with the mushrooms being a bit cold, and they were indifferent to my comment....as if they didn't really care. Just a smile was offered??? Overall the burger was a big disappointment and a very messy experience as it fell apart about halfway through. I found the service to be a bit overbearing and felt rushed to order something too. Though they did come across friendly and were OK with my dog coming inside. However their young child harassed her with his ride on toy adding to my less than relaxing experience). A small upside is that you can pay the bill with a credit card but this will incur a 2% fee. Being expensive and from my experience here, I wouldn't recommend eating here. I certainly won't be returning during my 30 scheduled days on the island. I wish I could add photos but Google Maps in their ludicrous, automated decision making block all my new reviews from the public when I review a place or business and add photos....where's the incentive to keep posting detailed reviews when all it does is create a major frustration.

Lovely Restaurant with Character Last night we visited this lovely restaurant for dinner and loved the experience. While the name and website suggest it's all burgers and beer, there is much more. We had great cocktails and a serve of very tasty crumbed chicken balls, coated in buffalo sauce with a blue cheese dipping sauce -amazing!! If you are into burgers and have a massive appetite, then this place is your heaven! Match them up with some local craft beers! The restaurant is now owned by a lovely Vietnamese lady who also acts as the bartender (and does a fantastic job!). She is assisted by family members who are extremely attentive to your every need. They even called us a taxi because it was raining!!! A great venue for a sumptuous lay back lunch or dinner. Highly recommended. Thanks from Roy & Julie

I began my day in Phu Quoc with breakfast at The Spice House—what a breath of fresh air. Tucked inside the serene Cassia Cottage resort, it feels peaceful even when things are busy. The open-air setup lets in soft sea breezes, palm tree shadows, and golden light—just right for a slow morning. The menu is a delight for those wanting something healthful without sacrificing flavor. Their fresh garden rolls filled with crisp herbs, mint, fragrant coriander and a light dipping sauce were perfect: bright, clean, and not heavy. I also tried one of their smoothie bowls—rich with tropical fruit, a sprinkle of seeds, and cooling coconut milk. It was nourishing in the way that fills you up gently, not with that overly sweet punch that leaves you craving something else. What impressed me the most was how they balance local Vietnamese produce (think herbs, fresh seafood, spices) with mindful cooking practise: no MSG, no undesirable additives, real ingredients. Service was kind and attentive—staff asked about dietary preferences without me having to start the conversation, a superb plus for staff Quoc!!! Portion sizes were generous (but not wasteful), so I felt very good leaving the table. Ambience and a view of the beach in the distance added to the calm—just what you want if you’re focused on wellness and travel. If I come back to Phu Quoc, The Spice House will be one of my first stops for breakfast again. Highly recommended for anyone wanting that healthy, feel-good start to their day.

The ingredients were super fresh, the flavours well balanced, and the presentation was just beautiful. We started with the watermelon-feta salad, which was light, refreshing, and the perfect opener. The tacos were bursting with vibrant veg and spices, and the ribs were incredibly tender and full of rich flavour. Sam, one of the team members, was absolutely brilliant – friendly, attentive, and always smiling. He truly added to the experience, and the rest of the staff were just as warm and welcoming. We dined outside by the pool, which added a lovely atmosphere to the evening – relaxed, elegant, and beautifully set up under the stars. A hidden gem that delivers both on taste and vibes. Highly recommended for food lovers looking for something special!

Amazing ambiance with great food. They have a vegetarian menu which was perfect for us. Our kids enjoyed the meals as well. If you are in Phu Quoc, this should be a must visit place for you.

I stayed at Cassia Cottage resort for a few weeks (that’s another 5 star review!) The variety of the menu, from east to west, and the ability to handle such a wide palette without losing it is impressive. The food is wholesome with a genuine elegance, deliciously tasty and healthy - not by third party anonymous organic certificate labels but by best effort, genuine intention and some in-house farming. I loved this restaurant so much, and highly unusual to me, I found no drive to explore every other top restaurant in the area as I always do when coming to a new place. I did check a few and there are nice ones but my favourite remained the hotel spice restaurant. Cassia became like that girlfriend who's such a joy to be with you lose interest in all the others - a first for me in hotels! That said, I did love to sneak down on a 5 minute beach walk south to La Veranda for a little serene lunch when the weather invited. The staff are fantastic. They got a great thing going and a wonderful attitude to each other and the guests. Many clearly feel safe enough to be themselves (getting rare these days!) which translates well into the homey and casual ambience. Its lovely to see some staff are proud of the place as well. It really is a worthy place deserving of a proud staff. During my weeks here I didn’t have a single bad or even slightly “off” experience with any of them. Its easy to have every staff on an up-note first 6 months of a business startup, so with 25 years going, Cassias achievement in good vibes and can-do attitude is stellar - as well as extraordinary unusual. Im not naive saying this - of course there’s the normal human frictions and drama between the lines, but thats unavoidable being human now, and the way they keep it together is what is unusual and impressive. It all ends up in a harmonic wonderful balance. Real. Honest. Alive! And the manager, Luisa, nailing the balance of professional and casual with all sophisticated brilliance one can ask for. It was such a beautiful encounter I consider Luisa a friend for life. Thank you all for a wonderful stay and a sense of home in paradise !

The Spice House is part of Cassia Cottage resort and is some of the best food I’ve had. So fresh and delicious. In particular the ceviche and squid and pomelo salad. The service is very attentive and kind. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing experience. We had the pleasant experience for dinner and the staff are so nice. The food was amazing. The swimming pool is so big and you can enjoy it. We came together with our friends and it was so much enjoyable moment.

Good food if you're looking for a local Vietnamese steamboat! I really like the authenticity and the flavour, plus, the service is very good, and they don't overcharge us as a traveller. Prices were clearly shown, and the food portion is big too. We ordered squid steamboat and the food is very yummy!

The restaurant has a nostalgic decor reminiscent of northern Vietnam during the subsidized era. The food is decent and fairly priced for Phu Quoc standards. When I was taking guests on a tour, we stopped by to eat here together. It got a bit warm while we were there, and there was even a power outage during our meal! 😅 Overall, it’s a great spot for those looking for a unique, experiential dining experience.

A cute spot for homecooked Vietnamese dishes and rice where everything is cooked over charcoal. A bit of a darling on the Internet, the place does deliver in terms s of genuine service was a smile and food that is delicious and won't cost a bomb. Food was not too bad although they are known for their hotpot, which we didn't order. We had rice (very delicious and aromatic) + and omelette (it's a rather "clean" tasting omelette so no Thai style umami woke fried flavours here + stir-fried pumpkin flowers w garlic + claypot fish (a little overcooked but the flavours were all there). Those pumpkin flowers are a must-try. Crunchy with a hint of sweetness, you won't find these at all restaurants. Love it! Thank you!

Amazing food in a very “back in the day” setting. The dishes were so simple yet incredibly tasty. The fried pork belly with deep fried finely shredded lemongrass and ginger was so good, we ordered a second serve. Highly recommended.

The best experience of countryside rice dish experience on the Island, it reminds me of my grandmother's house. The service is so nice and caring! The dished, I've ordered are all a "madeleine de Proust" to me. Their canh chua ca bop is delicious! Even their plain rice is fragrant and flavourful! I'd definetely recommend this place and eager to come again!

Wonderful food and service. We tried the summer rolls and the pork skewers along with some cocktails and were quite amazed by how flavourful each dish was. It's a bit on the pricier side compared to other restaurants in the same area, but you will not mind the prices as the taste, portion sizes and overall setting and ambience of the place are well justified against the cost. Additionally the servers and hosts are so nice and friendly, taking time to understand our requests and offering sound local guidance and advice. We wanted to catch the night market the same evening so we kept the snacks at Anna's light but definitely wish we had gone back for a full meal at a later chance!

Honestly the food highlight of my trip—every dish was flavorful and tasty, and well presented. Beautiful plates in a beautiful little restaurant. Loved the little shop, and if I had luggage space I would have bought plenty more dishware! Will be recommending this to fellow travellers. 👍🏼

My husband and I went back twice for lunch in our 4 days on Phu Quoc. The food was exceptional. I loved the decor and the chill vibes. The first time we went we tried the traditional Vietnamese fare (fresh and tasty) and the second visit we tried the banh pork croissant and the curry rice (delicious). Little bit expensive compared to other places in the area but tbh worth trying if you are in the area. There is 5% service charge for the kitchen and 3% more fee if you use credit card.

Not worth the trip. The bridge to the floating restaurants is broken. There’s no way of getting there. The smell is of garbage is really bad in this area. It’s very dirty. The whole area was quite disappointing. We ended up going to a restaurant further away from this.

The seafood was good, first time we taste this one (don’t remember the name). The service wasn’t good at all, a waitress vomited in front of the tables and she took a her time to clean herself just before she served the meals. Maybe she should go at the back office to clean but not in front of us

The seafood was not fresh. I tried the crabs but was disappointed—they were tasteless. I ordered grilled squid, but the staff brought something else. When I asked, they insisted it was grilled squid, but it actually came with tamarind sauce. The squids were also very small. The restaurant was quiet, and there was a lot of garbage around the area. I will never come back.

Undeniably Fresh Seafood — But CASH ONLY & Sanitation Concerns The seafood here is exceptional — clams, lobster, fish, and mantis shrimp are incredibly fresh and full of umami, cooked perfectly. However, CRITICAL NOTE: THEY ARE CASH ONLY. This is especially inconvenient given the remote location, so arrive prepared. Beyond payment, the experience was impacted by sanitation issues: a small centipede crawled into my sauce during the meal, and staff disposed of it (and likely other waste) by tossing it into the ocean off the deck. At low tide, this attracts flies near the shore, and we noticed more tabletop insects than at comparable outdoor spots. While the food quality is outstanding, improvements in waste disposal, pest control, and payment options would elevate this significantly. Come for the fresh catch, but bring cash and expect rustic conditions.

We had seafood there on a rainy day. It's easy to find the place but the bus we hired refused to drive us in. We had to walk about 500m to the restaurant. The restaurant had a nice view to the ocean. Seafood was fresh. The most famous dish of the village was flower crabs. They made sweet sour salad from sea snails and mangoes which was very fresh and tasty. Grilled sea snail was crunchy and delicious. Lobster was super cheesy and fresh, too. We also ate lobster porridge which smelled really good and sweet.

The place can be reached by motorbike or car, it’s one of the rated restaurant within the area. Price wise I believe it’s quite transparent but feel like there might have been a bait and switch for the lobster, felt smaller. However the food that was serve tasted great still but why for a missing star was because one of our ordered dish “fried chicken” but was served wrongly to another family with a lot of kids and they served the family’s braised chicken to us which we reject immediately back to the blur male waiter. The waiter look from a far back at the table but wasn’t sure, ran back to the kitchen to check the order but that took several minutes and by the time he came back switch the dish out and told us the family didn’t touch the dish. While I was seated across looking at the young kids touching the food… The waiter blatantly inform us that they didn’t eat the food… Like really? Long story short I rejected the dish and in the end they did remove the dish from the receipt upon reminding them during billing. Overall it was still a great place to eat…

The food itself was very tasty and the seating (basic decor) by the water was great, however we avoided the 'market prices' fresh seafood as it was very expensive! The regular menu items were fairly priced. Seafood fried rice very good.

Excellent authentic restaurant, in the first part you can choose from freshly caught seafood, which are preserved in home-made vats, then prepare according to your wishes selected products, I recommend to ask for all sauces and flavorings before eating, simple choice of drinks, but this is expected here. It was obvious that it is very popular among the locals, we were the only foreigners.

Very expensive… we asked about the price of a lobster, and was quoted VND 2 million per kg!!!! The crab fried rice was VND 200k. It was a fairly large portion, probably suitable for 3-4 people. Oyster in dough was also VND 200k. I wasn’t impressed by it, so maybe can give this a miss.

Don’t let your cab driver drop you here (like us), they all work together to scam you. Question your driver (or better: fire them) if they suggest this place! I ordered the famous flower crab of Phu Quoc. It's delicious and very well prepared. Being a first timer, I assumed the prices here should be cheaper than downtown. To my horror, I checked later that night and it's much cheaper in Phu Quoc night market. Very unhappy about this discovery.

This bun ken restaurant is also one of the famous bun ken in Phu Quoc. They use similar in texture, cooking method and ingredients to Ut Luom. I think rationing is the better word to use. 190k for a green curry (that was very average and nothing like a Thai style green curry), and little shavings of chicken was just a dissatisfying order. It’s a lovely job what they have done here and super cool bar with a big open space. Actually kind of located I’d say in an awesome remote area which is also cool. But the food we had was extremely average and I’d say most local expats would agree also.

Great hospitality. Everyone was very kind. Best smoothie we had on the island. Small beachfront pool. No real entrance to the actual ocean but no need as the seaside on this side of the island isnt very "beachy" so the pool is a good alternative

Definitely our highlight of Phu Quoc, Rory and his wife are the most welcoming and friendly hosts! The sea water pool is amazing and we were able to learn a lot of the island‘s history when chatting with Rory. Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to play minigolf but the course looks really nice. We definitely recommend this place and if we came back on the island, we would stay here for sure. Paradise on earth!

Great place to sit down and relax, have a drink, grab a bite and maybe play some mini golf or pool ! Great view on the ocean with good music. My stop there was just perfect and I really enjoyed my afternoon. Too bad I only went once and won’t have the chance to go again. We had such a special day at Rory’s in Phú Quốc—a place that truly feels like home, thanks to Rory and his amazing wife, Yoon. Our kids spent hours swimming in the sea water pool, spotting starfish, and playing mini golf in a beautiful jungle setting. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation for the whole family. We enjoyed delicious food, refreshing drinks, and great conversation with Rory and Yoon. You can tell how much love and care they’ve poured into creating this unique, laid-back paradise. If you’re visiting Phú Quốc, don’t miss this gem it’s more than just a beach bar, it’s an experience you’ll remember.

Travelled 30mins by bike from west coast Phu Quoc and this place didn’t disappoint at all. The vibe and atmosphere of this place is just amazing. Arrived around 8.30pm. The ride from the westcoast to here at night can be abit tricky if you’re not that confident on a bike due to some parts of roads with no street light and just darkness. But trust me its well worth it. Ordered their barramundi and also the creamy garlic prawns with a side of baguette. Food was superb and so delicious we ordered the garlic prawns for a second round. Drinks were good too. Will definitely come over again on our next visit to this island.

I went there at sunset to sit on the beach with a couple of fresh beer crudets. It was good, the waiters took the order and brought the drinks quickly, there was nice music playing, it was a very calm atmosphere. They have a very interesting bar menu, but I did not try the cocktails, as I am not a favorite of these drinks.

Wonderful experience and great location for the sunset. I’m not really sure if all the reserved tables were used at sunset. They should let guest who turn up early be the first to sit in those locations. I suspect they hold the tables on the chance bigger groups turn up. We enjoyed the live music and cocktail offerings.

Nice bar by the beach, spent new year's eve there, best beach party around after checking all nearby places, and great sunset anyway. However, outside specific occasions, it's overly loud, pretty expensive for what it is, food selection could be improved, the sand beach area is narrow and doesn't leave any space to lay down and even less put a towel. Good for a single party visit, not so much for a longer stay.

The food is delicious, especially for those who enjoy authentic Indian non-vegetarian dishes. The restaurant offers a spacious dine-in area, which is comfortable for groups and families. However, the ambiance might not appeal to everyone it’s a bit dated and lacks the cozy feel of newer establishments. Still, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Based on other reviews: The restaurant is known for its large portions, so be mindful not to over-order 1. Dishes like Fish Tikka and Garlic Naan come highly recommended 1. Located at 97 Tran Hung Dao St, it’s easy to find and offers amenities like free Wi-Fi, delivery, and parking 2.

If the restaurant is empty/ less crowded then they will treat you like a king and if it’s full, they are arrogant and you get to eat what they serve and don’t question/ change or ask for any if it’s not relevant to what ever you have ordered. This is the second time am visiting this place. First time when we came it’s was less crowded and use to serve what ever we order and be nice to the people. Yesterday we went to da Nang hotel and even their service and taste was so awesome. Today I.e 3/10/25 we went to restaurant in PUQUOC and it was the worst restaurant experience we had. They very never respecting and they treated like you take what ever you give and don’t ask anything. We ask for normal roti and they gave butter naan. When we called the manager he said it will get late and this is what we have so take this only. Infant we have given the order to manager only. But still when we ask he was not at all ready to accept the mistake or try to help us. We Indian go here in the assumption we will get treated well and get good Indian food as the name it self suggests it’s an Indian restaurant. Please try to improve the hospitality and way you treat the customers else people will start finding alternatives like us. Hope this reaches the owner and get this corrected.

Food arrived stone cold like it had been made the day before and was sent back. 3 other meals arrived, stale, no taste, after marking down we asked for spicey. Lamb was consistency of a bouncy ball Poppadoms could bend a full 360° . Awful food, awful service, and the air-conditioning dripped on my leg the entire time.

Friendly staff and great food! They have a massive variety of dishes to choose from. We went for a classic creamy and smooth butter chicken and lamb masala with plain rice and garlic bread. One garlic naan was already huge and could have been shared among two people!

Food: i love the pizza here, thin crust, crunchy, yet it has enough cheese and not salty. You won’t feel overwhelm with cheese. Fettuccini was a bit plain for my taste as I prefer stronger flavor. But my kids love it. Service: amazingly good. They serve and explain all my questions and request. They also keep checking on me to see if I need additional service. Atmosphere: good vibe and nice decoration.

We decided to go here because they have pizza oven. Our starter was honey garlic bread which as lovely. It was crispy and very tasty. Unfortunately our pizza was just warm and we had to ask for it to be heated up and even when it came back it wasn't hot. Still, it was tasty. One gripe... we ordered a glass of wine each and when it came we literally thought it was a joke, the wine barely came up to the bowl of the glass and it wasn't cheap, 180 dong. We asked if it was correct and apparently that's how much they serve. This was our most expensive meal so far on Phu Quoc. We wouldn't return, it's not good value for money.

I had a reservation for my birthday. Unfortunately, it was raining heavily, but their service made us feel warm and welcomed. We ordered one salad and a half seafood–half four cheese pizza, one spaghetti and they kindly served us a complimentary tiramisu for my birthday. I truly appreciate it. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely experience on their special day.

We booked the 10:00 PM fire show, with an entry fee of 80K. Food and alcoholic drinks are charged separately. We arrived around 9:30 PM and found that most of the beach seating was already taken. Thankfully, we still managed to get a spot on the sand — others were starting to be directed to the high stools off to the side. Do note that food here is pricier than the drinks, and it’s best not to come with high expectations for the food quality. Occasionally, a whiff of sewage from the seaside drifts by, which was a major downside to the experience. The atmosphere is lively and chill — sipping drinks while sitting on the beach is a great way to unwind. However, be prepared that people around you may be openly smoking. Bean bag seats are limited, so if you’re hoping to get a good beach spot, be sure to arrive early. The fire show starts promptly at 10:00 PM. There might be a bit of waiting around beforehand, but the performance itself is truly impressive — though it only lasts around 7–8 minutes, it’s absolutely worth seeing. One tip: once the show ends, everyone rushes to book a Grab, so plan your transport ahead to avoid the scramble.

Absolutely spectacular experience at this beach club! The drinks are both affordable and amazing—definitely try the lychee martini, it’s a standout. We came straight to Ocsen to unwind after a fantastic day exploring the island. Earlier, we had booked an incredible tour with the Moto Nomad team, led by Marc. After spending hours on a bike seeing the hidden gems and local life, we were ready for pure relaxation. Ocsen provided just that. The vibe is immediately welcoming and incredibly chilled, with bean bags and comfortable seating spread across the sand, right up to the water's edge. We ordered a couple of cold, refreshing cocktails (their mojitos are killer!) and found a perfect spot. As the sun began to dip towards the horizon, painting the sky in fiery oranges and pinks, the atmosphere became magical. It was the absolute perfect end to the day. The service was fast and friendly, and the music was subtle enough to allow for conversation while still creating a cool, beach club feel. Whether you’re recovering from an adrenaline-filled day (like us!) or just seeking a beautiful spot for an evening drink, Ocsen is a must-visit. Highly, highly recommended!

Went there for the first time ! As an expat was not expecting much . Was alone in the restaurant initially . Saw the chef in the restaurant and requested a thali from one person and the responce was no we don’t do half portions . which was strange - thali is always served for 1 in India . Then settled for a biryalni of lamb and for Drinks asked for a lassi the most Basic of Indian drinks but the staff were not sure and needed to check !! The Biryani was not really a biryani its was a whipped up concoction from the chef with no flavour and seasoning . The kulcha was dry didn’t have enough gheee - You need a dental insurance to eat this for sure. The local restaurants seem to offer more value for money better hospitality and generous as an Indian restaurant should be . The pickle serves as in the picture is dry and just 1 miserly piece I mean it comes from a bottle and not home made . Understand Phu Quoc has challenges but this will be my last time here definitely not recommended as other local India restaurants are better in quality

The paneer butter masala was creamy and well-balanced, perfect with the soft, charred naan. Sides like papadam, pickles, and fresh salad added texture and contrast. A satisfying, authentic meal in both taste and presentation.

The view is superb facing Phu Quoc beach and located just next to the Marina waterfront (where tourists like to take shots of the iconic pearl seashell photo). We enjoyed the fire dance show which happens every night at 8pm. The buffalo wings were yummy. 😋 The service was really good especially from (Mr Thanh Ben) who’s been very attentive, hardworking and prompt in attending to all the customers. He even noticed that the float that we used (provided)was not properly inflated and almost immediately came with an air pump to help us without us even asking! Such impressive service truly made our stay so memorably enjoyable. 👏 So we will definitely be back!

Came here for breakfast this morning and was less than pleased. Service was shit. The staff look at you like you don’t belong there. Food was mediocre and ridiculously over priced. Would not recommend! There’s a sign on the table saying that their portions are a big size - complete crap. Paying over 200k VND for simple eggs and toast is absurd - and who serves fries with breakfast? I understand people come here the view but there are so many other options in the area and way better service. Don’t waste your time and money.

A romantic and relaxing place with nice music , the beautiful garden and colorful lights are perfect. Food are amazing, staffs are polite and really helpful.They have open kitchen, so you can see the chef while preparing your mouth watering meal . We ordered Grilled Galecian Octopus with potatoes and Fried baby squid in black tempura ink it was really good . For desert we had chocolate fondant and passion fruit mousse cake it was fantastic. They also have wide selections of drinks , from wines , cocktails, draft beers spirits and many more. If you guys wanted a relaxing night, with cool music, good food and ambiance try to visit Phufoc Courtyard .

Wow! What an amazing find in the night market. Nestled in between shuttered cafes and seafood restaurants, you'll find this gem of an eatery. The food is fantastic, and the service is friendly. We loved the tuna empanadas and garlic shrimp. But the star of the show was the scallops. They were amazing! Fresh and cooked to perfection in a savory sauce with a crispy bacon topping. Yum! Don't miss this place. And don't forget reservations. It's an intimate place with only a few tables, which adds to the charm.

We’ve been there 4 times and as always we were really pleased. You have good quality spanish food cooked by Andreu’s wife in front of you and amazing cocktails prepared by Andreu, all at a reasonable price. We had a platter of different tapas, a really nice bruschetta with mushroom, onion and manchego cheese, some salad and a dessert, all with a nice glass of spanish wine.
