The Robberg Beach Lodge - Lion Roars Hotels & Lodges is a modern beachside resort in Plettenberg Bay, offering comfortable rooms and suites. We had three nights in a Double luxury room, just perfect for everything, a short drive into Plettenberg for some shopping or a meal out. The Beach was straight out of the front door across the road. The food and wine was amazing, I had the Steak one night which was perfectly cooked to my liking. The Breakfast had plenty of choice and excellent quality. WiFi worked where ever you were in the hotel. Definitely recommend The Beach lodge as a place to stay if you’re traveling the garden route.

The view is beautiful, which is the only good thing about this hotel, so I’m giving it two stars. The hotel itself is old and worn down, nothing like the pictures. It’s overpriced, noisy, and humid. The staff seemed uninterested and unfriendly. It’s definitely not worth the price. We didn’t feel comfortable at all and were relieved when we could finally leave.
Stayed for 3 nights on our honeymoon trip and absolutely loved it. The staff were so lovely, friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel very welcomed. The room was beautiful, such breathtaking views of the sea and had everything we needed. The breakfasts were delicious, cold and hot food included, and the one dinner we had in the restaurant was great. No complaints and would highly recommend.
A truly wonderful hotel with beautifully designed and comfortable rooms that make you feel at home right away. The location is perfect – peaceful, yet close to everything you might want to explore. The cuisine is exceptional, with a great selection of delicious and well-prepared dishes. What really makes the difference, though, is the staff: everyone is incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. We felt truly welcomed and well taken care of throughout our visit. Highly recommended!
Very basic rooms with the sea view on the ground floor the windows were very flimsy and felt insecure. The staff, other than one-off the waiters, were not very friendly or attentive and there wasn't anything around the hotel to walk to.

Being a guest in this accommodation is really a pleasure. Both, Linda and Ole, welcome us and invited us to become a part of their live during our stay. Of course, we got an excellent bedroom, with direct access to the terrasse, from where we could enjoy the view across Plett and the beach, but that’s only half of the story. Even more, worth to mention is the fact, we had the pleasure to receive an excellent service, fresh and individual prepared breakfast as well as great recommendations on the things to do in and around Plett. Whether having the need to place a reservation or to book a safe transport service, no worries, all being organized by Linda and Ole.
We have had a great time at the Aquavit Guest House – thanks for that.

Santini Village is a well-located apartment complex in Plettenberg Bay, just a short distance from Lookout Beach, Poortjies Beach, and The Wedge Beach. This self-catering flat offers two bedrooms and 101 square metres of space, comfortably accommodating four guests. Guests have praised the property for its cleanliness and convenient location near shops, restaurants, and the main beach.
I lived in Santini Village as a home owner for tree years, best investment. I was able to sell with a good profit and used it to buy my dream home, with sea views and good rental income!

Place is beautiful, clean and quite , I really enjoyed my stay there
Parking very cramped and very few visitors parking. We have a double cab and have dented our vehicle many times going in and out of the cramped parking as the undercover parking has wooden poles all over the place and you may not swop with another resident. Not pet friendly. You are being watched all the time to make sure you do not "Break rules". Units are nice though and good security. Looks beautiful, but is disappointing.

Great complex. Very safe, well kept grounds, friendly security, nice pool and poolside amenities. Just limited parking space and the covered parking is very uncomfortable to get in and out of.
I think this complex would get a higher rating if there were than just a handful of visitor parking spaces. Very cramped complex but still has a nice vibe to it, if that makes sense? Haha.
Ground floor unit. Beautiful and Extremely clean. Close to shops, Restaurants and Main beach. Centrally located. Will definitely book again when I visit Platt.

The property offers five suites, each named after different phases of a novel, and is run by passionate owner Chereen Fraser along with welcoming managers Evans Banda and Colnes. The guesthouse provides a peaceful retreat with its warm and classic family beach house ambiance, complemented by stylish touches.
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Long Story Guest House - stunning setting offering a perfect blend of tranquility and natural beauty and also only a 5 minute walk to access some of the most amazing coastline & beaches you will find anywhere in the world . The decor is tastefully done, with every detail thoughtfully chosen to create a welcoming, warm atmosphere.
The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. One of the highlights of my stay was discovering that Long Story supports a local winemaker, Lodestone and we were able to sample a glass of the local bubbly with our delicious breakfast.
The experience was just perfect in every way. I highly recommend Long Story Guest House for anyone looking for a memorable and unique stay in an absolutely breathtaking setting!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Long Story Guesthouse, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The place is beautifully maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service was top-notch, thanks to the exceptional staff, particularly Evans and his lovely colleague. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their hospitality and kindness made us feel right at home, and how can I forget the most important one lol the cat (didn't get the name) lovely a sweetheart. I'd highly recommend Long Story Guesthouse to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. Five stars aren't enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stayed 5 nights at Long Story and it was a dream. The room was very clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you need to feel right at home. The location was perfect -- the beach is just a 5 minute walk and you must check out MacNut Cafe for coffee and snacks! Lastly, the service... I cannot speak highly enough about the service that Evans and Colnes provided throughout our stay. They were very communicative, reachable in-person and via WhatsApp. They prepared beautiful, healthy breakfasts each morning. They provided laundry service and a thorough house keeping service throughout our longer stay. We were truly cared for. Thank you for making our first visit to Plett unforgettable.
We booked this place for a two night break with friends from Ireland. Really impressed. Lovely staff who looked after us. A great swimming pool and honesty bar. Fabulous breakfasts. We were able to walk to the main Roberg beach.
To cut a Long Story short, this guest house is an absolute incredible find. Chereen, Evans and her team have created an oasis and they go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Everything from their hospitality to the décor, location and breakfast is perfection. I would highly recommend staying at the Long Story when visiting Plettenberg Bay for a holiday or for business.
Long Story Guesthouse was the highlight of our garden route trip do not miss out. Meg made our experience incredible we felt so relaxed by the time we left.
This review is long overdue but we promised ourselves it would be the first we wrote. Meg, we stayed in November 2016 (when your puppy arrived) and it's clear from the reviews since that the guesthouse is an amazing success. Hope your still loving it.

We had an absolute amazing time at The Whaling Station. Kasia and her Husband welcomed us with warm faces, Would 100% recommend this as a place to spend a few nights. The Braai area was great with an amazing view of the beautiful nature and sea.

Spent three days simply relaxing and enjoying the views, peace and tranquility of this self catering establishment. Very close to all amenities and within a very safe 24 hr manned entry / exit control within the golf estate. The small management team made sure we were comfortable and very friendly towards us. Superlative and ultimate calm resting place for those whio need a base in Pleetenberg region, just off N2 en route to Tstiskama. Excellent clean facilities- swimming pool, kitchen,
lounge, bbq and of course rooms. The view over the bay is beautiful and has its own private walkway to the lagoon. Its located within a secure enclosed golf course. However the icing on the cake is the owner Kasia, who shows unbelievable kindness, care and attention, as she ensures you arrive safely and then will advise you on all things local depending on your needs and requests. She subsequently regularly checks in with you to make sure your trip is hassle free. So strongly recommend you stay here you wint be disappointed.

Brother and I had a bad telephonic experience with Gail. Super rude! We have found better accommodation, you can keep it Gail. We do not recommend staying here.

We had the best time here. It's perfect for a big group. It caters for diverse interests, very close to the river, town, hikes etc. Big garden with great bird life. Lovely outside entertainment area. Very friendly and efficient staff. We loved it and we will be back.
What a let down. Supposedly wheelchair friendly but sadly their photos are deceiving. Prime spot, on a golfing estate (although one isn't looking onto the course), but it's dreadfully outdated. TV didn't work, so were the curtains & the owner uses foul language. The only thing that was going for it was the roll-in shower. It suited more for backpackers, we won't be going back.

This place is my home away from home. I loved how it has a modern yet comfy feel. Everything you need and more. Utensils, DSTV, wifi,detergents etc. Patio where you can enjoy your coffee. Braai area. The kitchen is an absolute dream I was blown away with appliances. It was most definitely my happy place! The scenery is absolutely breathtaking! The only thing I didnt get to was swim in the pool because of the rain. But we walked and saw birds and ducks. Tim responded timeously to all my questions. This has been my best holiday yet!

Rainer and his wife are excellent hosts. The B&B is very clean, nice and the pool / bar area is perfect for relaxing and getting in contact with other guests or Rainer. In fact Rainer is the best story teller of the world, simply because he has almost seen the whole world during his travels. We even stayed with him at the pool bar until 3 am talking although the plan was only to grab a welcome drink. Thanks so much for the wonderful time we had with you - we simply can highly recommend this place in all manners!
I can only recommend the Lala Panzi B&B, not because of having been there (unfortunately), but because of excellent, timely and sustainable support received in an unfortunatel situation my wife and myself came in recently as a result of floodings in the area end of September 2023. As we could not reach the booked Lala Panzi B&B, they recommended us a reachable B&B, and were very supportive with the regulation of our existing booking. Looking forward to a stay there once the situation allows.

Unit 1 has the bathroom and toilet (with partial glass doors) in the bedroom. This was not disclosed to us beforehand. The smell in the room wasn't pleasant even though there were attempts to disguise the smell with diffuser bottles.
We had a fantastic stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was great and made for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.
The host was excellent — very quick to respond to any questions and genuinely cared about making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. It really made a difference knowing we were well taken care of.
Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and easy. We’d happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free, pleasant experience.
Amazing !!! We only stayed one night but it was a lovely place and would be perfect for a group of 4-5. The place is self cater so if your wanting a tasty breakfast u will have to go to nearby restaurant, the room had a private hot tub and sliding gates. The two owners are friendly couple who helped us book an evening meal at the delicious FAT FISH restaurant in town.

Very clean basic accommodation, very secure and spacious rooms were good, no frills, hot shower. Kitchen well equipped. With good appliances. We found the apartment very cold and allowance for heaters. We were there in the middle of July, imagine great apartment in Summer months. Secure locked parking downstairs. It was a good experience but it really was to cold.
My stay at the Greenpoint Mews were absolutely 5 star rated and beyond. Their rooms are so spacious, neat and tidy. It is absolutely gorgeous. I just love the tranquility of this place. Home away from home. The furniture is of the best quality. There is no need to shop for unnecessary things you forgot at home. This apartment had every thing we needed. I would definitely stay there om my next trip. So inl ove with this place.

Place is beautiful, unfortunately there is NO WiFi as promised, the lines have not even been installed yet, this is false advertisement! The barbecue area is by the pool shared by all and far from the unit. Had to phone to enquire about the wifi was not told when I made the booking, should I pay less?? YESSSS!!!

The place is beautiful but would recommend you book it in summer seeing we booked in on the 23rd May. It was warm outside as we managed to visit the beach but our unit 2 was extremely cold with no sunlight coming in at all, no heater, warm blankets only fleece provided. Customer service not so good as we struggled to get hold of them. No Loadshedding scheduled was shared despite us requesting it. Other than that the place is peaceful and beautiful.

We had an excellent stay at the Stableford guest house . The rooms were very clean and decorated with taste , so was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and in a quiet room. Peter and Elaine were excellent hosts and Peter spent a lot of time chatting with us and giving us advice on things to do in the area.
Breakfast and coffee were also delicious.

We were in a bind to find a place in Plett and looked to Google Maps to show us a quiet place, centrally located, affordable, yet very close to the beach. The Stableford House met all the requirements and we were not disappointed! Accommodations were top notch and the hosts Peter and Elaine, were amazingly helpful in planning our stay in the area. The beaches were only a short walk (about 200 meters) through a beautiful resort neighborhood. Our favorite was the nearby Robberg Nature Reserve - heaven on earth!
