Got the silver bullet burrito. Cochinita pibil pork with Mexican rice, black beans, salsa verde and chipotle mayo. Decent burrito and excellent size, though the pork wasn’t the most flavourful sadly. Open to trying it again and getting a different combination, but for the most part a very nice burrito.

The burrito was okay. The ingredients tasted fresh, and everything was prepared well, just a bit lacking in flavor for our taste. The staff were polite and got the food out in a reasonable time. The place was clean and had a relaxed vibe. It's a decent spot if you're nearby and in the mood for something simple and filling.

We have visited many times, and the food and service are always excellent! I always have the naked burrito. The staff are always superb, helpful, and friendly. Good selection of beers and other beverages. There are plenty of vegetarian options.

The place is a small and busy Neapolitan pizzeria that delivers a solid experience. The space is a bit tight, but I think it adds to its charm. Most of the ingredients are sourced directly from Italy, and you can really taste the difference. The service is good. Overall, it’s a solid spot. If you’re craving good pizza with authentic Italian ingredients, this place won’t disappoint. I’d gladly come back.

A very small restaurant with around 5 tables so would recommend booking ahead on a weekend evening. Lovely pizza with plenty of toppings and excellent service, they kept our water jug constantly refilled. Would recommend the nutellamisu as dessert, a big portion size which is perfect to share

The menu runs through the Neapolitan canon: marinara and margherita, seasonal specials, fritti, and signatures like salsiccia e friarielli or the playful “Sofia Loren.” Flavours scream authenticity – San Marzano tomatoes, Fior di Latte from Campania, and artisanal dough that’s tangy, light, and properly proven. The wood-fired crust blisters just as it should. Having eaten pizze across southern Italy, including at Caserta’s world champion, I can say Napoli Centro holds its own with the best. Sheffield is lucky to have it.

This was the best Thai food I’ve had outside of Thailand. They have a massive vegan menu too including vegan lunch specials. Plus the staff are lovely!!!

Lemongrass Thai Street Food is a real gem. Tucked away in the market, it instantly makes you feel like you’ve stumbled across a little slice of Thailand. Everything tasted so fresh and full of flavour. The curries had the perfect balance of spice and depth, the noodles carried that proper wok-char you only get from real street cooking, and the herbs lifted every bite. It’s the kind of food that takes you straight back to Thailand, the sort you’d happily queue for at a Bangkok night market. Simple, authentic, and cooked with real care – this stall is one that will leave you wanting to come back again and again. If you’ve ever been to Thailand, it’ll make you miss it. Great lunch of belly pork in garlic sauce. Brilliant friendly service, food arrived quickly and was super fresh and super tasty. Good value. Buzzy atmosphere in the market adds to the experience.

One of the nicest Indian restaurants I’ve been too! The food is so tasty and fresh, you can tell it’s been freshly prepared and they even ask you what spice level you would like. Oh dear. So much expectation for this reservation based on previous reviews, and unfortunately it failed miserably. The Burrata antipasti with grilled peaches was just a large round chunk of cold burrata swimming in a very sugary syrup and the peaches (3 tiny squares) had none of the grilled flavour I thought it might. No hint of “chilli” in the honey, barely there sliver of beetroot and an absence of any tarragon flavour, just cold sugar and cheese. The mushroom main ok but wasn’t anything one couldn’t whip up at home and my friend who had the squid ink ravioli commented how extremely fishy the monk fish filling was and overall unpleasant flavour of the dish. It was an expensive experiment for us which did not live up to the hype

First time we’ve been here and it was for a birthday. The food is absolutely gorgeous and took us back to Puglia. Excellent service and atmosphere.

We had an absolutely fantastic time here! The food was outstanding from start to finish. The focaccia with anchovies and capers set the tone perfectly, followed by a round of pastas that were each cooked al dente and packed with flavour. The truffle gnocchi, mushroom & fennel sausage pasta, pork cheek pasta, and my scampi ’nduja pasta were all exceptional — creamy, deeply flavoured sauces, seasoned to perfection, and full of character. The atmosphere felt natural and authentically Italian, making the evening even more enjoyable. For dessert, the tiramisu was solid (8/10 — the pistachio didn’t quite add much and I’d have loved a touch more cream), but the chocolate pie stole the show: rich, creamy, perfectly balanced with hints of caramel and hazelnut. Overall, a truly memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!

Lovely space and atmosphere for a fun dinner - would return for that reason. The service was great and there’s a wide selection of pasta dishes, appetisers and drinks. I ordered the carbonara, the portion was minimal - too small for a main meal but other pasta dishes did look more generous. It did also lack a bit of flavour. The toilet area smells really very bad, which was a bit off putting.

Had to visit to see all the hype around the place. Whilst I ordered the tagliatelle salsiccia and lasagne della nonna, I found both to be too sweet for my liking. A real shame because I felt with a bit more of a kick and something to cut through the sweetness, they would have been great dishes.

On our first visit, we were lucky to arrive early; fortunately, it wasn't full. The service was friendly and fast, the food was good, and the environment was pleasant. Overall, it was a good experience.

Everyone enjoyed all their dishes! The seafood risotto was really nice, just a few undercooked rice grains that slightly bothered me other than that it’s beaut! Goat cheese & fig bruschetta isn’t how i imagined; just underwhelming to look at and tasted ok - sorry .. overall Lovely and welcoming atmosphere!

We felt really welcomed at Nonna's and had a lovely experience. Service was excellent, from staff who made every effort to ensure customer satisfaction. Highlights of the meal, where my wife's roast lamb dish, which was super tender and had great flavour, and the chocolate mousse dessert which was rich, indulgent and smooth. We had cocktails with our meal which were well made and packed a punch too 🤣

Superb Italian restaurant. All the food was great, but the stand out dish was the nduja risotto which had a perfectly mild chilli heat level for me. I will definitely add it my risottos at home!

Location is in the heart of Kelham Island's new development area and is a good advert for Sheffield and urban regeneration done well.

Wow, Great little find having just walked around the Kelham Island museum and needing lunch. Beautifully dressed with low ceiling and lots of wood, yet also manages not to be dark with large windows and loads of natural light. Are there many things better than fresh pizza? I don't think so, and this place does pizza justice. Plenty of options and what we picked was very tasty. Also had dessert and literally didn't need to eat again that day! Didn't stray into the beers, but they had a huge selection. Did have a coffee, which was well made, another sign of a good place. The two guys onsite did a great job and I would happily return for more next time I'm in Sheffield. Highly recommended.

Great food and atmosphere in a good location. All food is cooked fresh to order, and it's a reasonable price for the portions. There is a wide range of drinks available, including lots of craft beers. While the food is fairly priced, the drinks seem a little steep. The establishment is warmly decorated, with wood panelling on the walls. It is all very clean. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the choice of music is particularly good.

Excellent pizza, reasonably priced, dog friendly and it's in the heart of Kelham Island, what more can you ask for! The staff were friendly too and they have some fantastic spicy mayo for dipping your crust in :) In total it cost £30 for 2 pizzas, chips and 2 beers, which I think I acceptable for pizza this good!

Craft & Dough - first time visit. Nice place, centrally located in a fairly historic part of downtown Sheffield. Service is relaxed and friendly and the staff are warm and accommodating. Food is good - we ordered two pizzas (the Henderson and the Nduja). Both were well-made and fresh. Also ordered the halloumi fries, which were quite excellent. The sauce comes with bits of pomegranate. Dessert was fair - we ordered the Nutella dough balls but they were nothing special. Still, overall it was a pleasant dining experience. Good place for big groups as well as small tables for two. Will come back again.

I remember I came here a while ago for a brunch meal on a Sunday. It was a bottomless brunch (bottomless Prosecco, a main included, and £25 per person) it was quite expensive to upgrade to gin and lemonade (+£12.50) but the vibe and food was nice. The mushroom dish, I definitely recommend!! The surrounding area is quite rustic and it pairs nice with the river flowing through nearby. I’m not sure if the brunch price is still the same but give it a go if you like Prosecco with your meal! The staff were very helpful too!

We came here today to celebrate my friend’s birthday and had an amazing experience! A huge thank you to Chai, who was incredibly warm and welcoming. He took great care of us throughout the meal, sang “Happy Birthday” for my friend, and made the whole evening so joyful. 😊 Chai has a wonderful sense of humor and made everyone feel comfortable and happy. Absolutely stunning. My boyfriend planned a meal for my birthday and it was amazing. Beautiful cocktails and the food was delicious, literally the best dish I've ever had at a restaurant (and possibly the best tiramisu). Lovely service from all the staff particularly our server Chai who looked after us so well and was so funny. A big thank you to all the staff for my birthday dessert too.

Our server was friendly, attentive, and very accommodating throughout the meal, making us feel really welcome. To top it all off, they surprised us with a free cheesecake at the end, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the evening even more enjoyable. Picolino in Sheffield is a really beautifully designed space…. very aesthetic, with a relaxed and welcoming vibe throughout. The staff were great from the moment we arrived, friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made for a nice start to the evening. Drinks were spot on, offering a wide selection and well made, so definitely somewhere I’d return for a few drinks in stylish surroundings. That said, the food was a bit of a letdown. The dish I wanted was unavailable, no issues with that in itself, but I only found out when ordering….after spending 10–15 minutes looking over the menu with our drinks. It would make a big difference to the guest journey if the team let people know upfront about any unavailable items when handing out menus. What we did order was decent, but it lacked the depth of flavour you’d hope for at this price point, and didn’t feel like great value for money. It slightly took the shine off what was otherwise a lovely atmosphere and service. Could’ve just been a bad day in the kitchen….who knows. Would definitely go back for drinks and the setting, but I’m on the fence about returning for food.

The outdoor terrace has good headlamps to keep warm even in late October. Chai was our server and was very attentive to our experience and helped out with recommendations. A very charming and pleasant guy to have a conversation with.

An incredible food hall with a wide variety of cuisines to suit all tastes. There’s also a bar with a good selection of beers and spirits. At each vendor, you order and collect a buzzer that goes off when your food is ready. This gives you the option to try food from all the vendors for your meal. The chicken strips from Dodo covered in garlic, honey and Parmesan were incredible. Service is friendly and helpful across the site. The only downside is the cooking smells. My clothes smelt like I’d cooked the food myself when I left. Which wasn’t pleasant.

Fantastic place, great way to use an old industrial site in the way that brings people in. Food court allows trying various cousins and we definitely took advantage of that. Greek gyros, salt & pepper hash browns, massala chips - all very good and not silly expensive. Great place to visit.

The smash burger I had at the cutlery works was... smashing! You do have to pay extra (50p) for a sauce for your chips but there's a good range and the chips are nice and crispy. It was a bit quiet when I went but I think the atmosphere would be better on weekends or evenings.

Loved the set up of Cutlery Works. Old industrial building buzzing with food / drink options. Tough to pick, but opted for That Kick which proved to be an excellent decision! Tried their Mie Goreng and Black Magic sauce which was all delicious!

We got a the leopard pie margarita and cheese garlic bread and birria tacos and the food was amazing as well as the vendors. The staff behind the bar were also friendly and welcoming overall we had a really good experience and will definitely be back again.

I recently tried the Chicken with rice bowl with curry sauce at Salt and Pepper Co and it was absolutely delicious.The spices were perfectly balanced and every bite was full of flavor. The service was also top-notch. I highly recommend this dish to anyone who's planning to visit Salt and Pepper Co ,it's a must try.

There are a wide variety of restaurants available from all over the globe. If looking at the stalls is overwhelming, you can scan the QR code and browse the menus on there, and can also order and pay online too, though there is a £1 fee for this. You then get a text when your food is ready and need to go to the booth to collect it. There were plenty of seats available, we were there at around 11am. We got the chicken chipotle tacos meal deal, and the chicken tikka naanwich.

The pastel was excellent, with a crisp pastry casing that was the perfect thickness and a rich, creamy filling. The chocolate cookie was rather average, though the banana and peanut muffin was lovely. The icing was tasty, despite the muffin itself being slightly too dense. The texture of the candied banana and peanuts added a nice touch elevating it. However, the establishment is not the cheapest of bakeries.

I had brunch at the Forge Bakehouse. They microwave their food and eggs. Eggs are rock hard, way overcooked and the food overall doesn’t taste good. We are not happy with the food there sorry to say.

So so disappointed... Forge bake house was my fav cafe for many years but feel like since they've expanded the quality of pastries and service has gone down massively. Got a bear claw croissant at 7:30am at the train station, you'd think it would be freshly baked,but it was super dry and no filling inside!! They used to have so much almond/marzipan inside!! The girl who worked there today seemed like she hates people, never seen anyone so fed up with life :D not sure what changed but won't be going there again sadly :(

I’m allergic to eggs and nuts and zero options of sweet treats to cater for this allergy. Flat white was nice however quite bitter coffee Hot chocolate was pretty watery/milky rather than chocolatey.

Forge supplied the sweet treats for our wedding and we were not disappointed! We got two types of pastries and two types of donuts. Doing everything vegan was not a problem for the bakery and everyone was raving about them! Highly recommend if you're looking for someone to cater bakes and treats.

Absolutely loved Harland Café, having travelled up from Cambrige as a group Harland has a brilliant breakfast selection at an incredible price. The quality of the meat was great, not any of this thin bready wet cheap sausage but a genuine nice meaty sausage. The tea selection was brilliant too and as someone who's from Cambrige where a breakfast like that would have cost about £10 just for the breakfast not including the tea or coffee it was definitely a winner for me.

I was about to say another day another piece of cake another food venue reviewed but this little place for a first time visit is like wow and the cake with the berries is going to take some beating this cafe has it all including a fantastic outside area and a atmosphere that truly compliments its brilliant interior, its licienced from beers to wines to shorts so come find this little gem of a place the cafe shuts at 16.00hrs but the kitchen closes at 15.00hrs so come unwind and relax and enjoy the cake blessings tal

A nice café, near the train station, at the entrance of the millennium gallery. The interior of the café is very nice, there is an emphasis on a flowery vibe with a cyan and pink colour code. The café has a window facade. There is a lot of seating available. The café is definitely not as busy as Tamper Sellers Wheel so no wait needed. The staff who was taking my order at the till seemed to be new and didn’t seem to know how to use the till properly because she asked her colleague for advice. I ordered the Eggs Royale which costed £10.50, not the cheapest Eggs Royale I must say but it tasted nice. The canton earl grey which costed £2.50, was a standard earl grey tea. Overall, a good location and not a bad experience. The price for the meal wasn’t great.

Really nice food, I had the spricy grilled cheese with jalapeños and an ice brew, both were great! Also shout out to the young woman on today (21st Sept), she was working on her own and gave excellent customer service throughout, a credit to the café.

I had the New York sandwich, the menu says it includes pastrami, gherkins etc. Great use of menu trickery as pastrami can be singular or plural, I assumed the latter and then for £8 was greeted with a single slice of it in my sandwich. Calling it a gherkin and cheese sandwich would have been more honest.

Excellent Cafe in Central Sheffield in the Millennium Gallery. Has easily thrown best value kids packed lunch deal I've found, with a sandwich, crisps, juice carton, fruit, fromage frais and KitKat for £4.50. Please support this great caf

This is a great place to meet up with friends for a hot drink or to eat some outstanding food! Quite reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of the food - I would definitely recommend the pappardelle ragu! A very chilled out atmosphere, however the service was lacking slightly. Super happy Ambulo has found its way to Sheffield!

A lovely toasted New Yorker with pastrami and gherkins. Plus a cinnamon bun and an Americano. Not cheap, but tasty. Fabulous cool views in the warm sunny weather.

Bright, spacious, light and quiet. A bit cold because all the doors were open. Lovely coloured crockery. Probably a good spot for meetings and to work.

We had a party of 10, including 4 children. The food was exceptionally suited for everyone's taste. Cooked to perfection. Relaxed atmosphere. All the staff were extremely attentive and Vito himself is the perfect host. There were customers who were obviously regular visitors which speakes volumes. Thank you Vito and your staff.

Wonderful food, exemplary service and always a great atmosphere. My wife and I have been coming here for years. It’s our favourite spot for a romantic meal. You’re always made to feel really special. Sept 2024 update - oh my, what lovely dishes. Vitos seabass is amazing, yet to be bettered and his scallops with asparagus were superb. The cannoli were lovely with a cripy melt-in-the-mouth pastry. Highly recommended - thanks Vito for another great evening with classic Italian dishes. An update from our recent visit. The foods are superb as ever. You'll not find a better classic bruschetta and the calamari was the best we've ever tasted. The seafood linguini was lovely and the homemade sausage pizza was superb. Just left enough room for us to share the wonderful profiteroles :) Update - This visit to our favourite Italian resturant we decided to go for the Chianina Tuscan T-Bone steak (Chianina Alla Fiorentina). We've enjoyed Vitos steaks before but the T-Bone is really something else. Imported direct from Italy and has to be special-ordered at least 2 weeks in advance. Vito marinated the steak with rosemary and garlic for 2 days and cooked it to a prefect medium rare. It was the size of a large dinner plate. Carved by Vito himself and served with dressed lettuce and roast potatoes (what more do you need...). The flavour was amazing, suculent and juicy, the best we've ever tasted and that's compairing against the Chateaubriand at the best steak resturant in Manchester. We even managed to share one portion of profiteroles afterwards. Our thanks to Vito and his great staff for such an enjoyable and memorable evening. Vito's is open! This wonderful italian resturant has now reopened and we really enjoyed dining with Vito and all his great staff at the weekend. The food is as superb as before, fresh and soooooo tasty. We've already booked our next visit :) Highly recommend the classic bruchetta and the sea bass - simple dishes, but amazingly tasty!

Came in for a pizza with my partner and the pizza was great, however we didn't have much of an appetite, this older gentleman came to the table (might be the owner not sure) and said what are you having for the main course, we wasn't hungry so said no thankyou however he pulled a face and walked off, made me feel slightly unwelcome and unfortunately will not be dining here again. Waitress however was very friendly.

Today we had the pleasure of dining at Vito Restaurant and indulging in their mouthwatering T-bone steak. I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. First and foremost, the ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting. The dim lighting and cozy seating created a perfect atmosphere for a memorable dining experience. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and were incredibly attentive throughout the evening, ensuring that we had everything we needed. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the T-bone steak. It was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful sear on the outside and a juicy, tender center. The quality of the beef was exceptional, and each bite was bursting with flavor. The steak was accompanied by a delectable assortment of sides, including perfectly seasoned roasted vegetables and creamy mashed potatoes, which complemented the dish perfectly. The presentation of the food was also noteworthy. Each plate was beautifully arranged, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. It was evident that the culinary team at Vito Restaurant takes great pride in their craft. In addition to the outstanding food, the service at Vito Restaurant was top-notch. The waitstaff was knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. They were also prompt in refilling our drinks and ensuring that we had an enjoyable dining experience. To top it all off, the dessert selection at Vito Restaurant was simply divine. We couldn't resist trying their homemade cheesecake, and it was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. The cheesecake was rich, creamy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. As well they have a diverse selection of wines and other Italian food. Overall, my experience at Vito Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm and inviting ambiance to the impeccable service and, of course, the unforgettable T-bone steak, every aspect of the dining experience was truly remarkable. Vito’s Italian had been on my ever-growing list of Restaurants to try for a while, so it was a welcomed nudge when Vito invited me to come and try what he describes as authentic Italian food. Being Italian himself, and heavily involved in all parts of the restaurant, the passion that Vito has for food really comes across in the dishes served here. The restaurant had a warm, open feeling to it and the bar area feels a little rustic. Our waiter was very friendly and tentative which I love about proper Italian restaurants, the staff always want to make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The specials board that evening included a lot of seafood so I didn’t choose from it this time but I do love seeing a specials board! The menu itself is vast so it took me a while to choose what I wanted, but it’s great to see that Vito’s offers the pasta dishes as a smaller portion for starters too. For my starter, an unusual choice for me, but I decided to go with Scamozza Al Forno Con Funghi – Oven baked Scamozza cheese with mushrooms, garlic and parsley. A large portion of big, fresh mushrooms lightly cooked and baked in lots of a cheese, far from the soggy, horrible garlic mushrooms you sometimes get on a menu that just leave a sour taste. I don’t often go for mushrooms but I was really pleased with my choice and really enjoyed this starter – so much cheese! Ben went with a starter portion of the Ravioli Aragosta – Lobster filled ravioli cooked with prawns and a touch of cream. Inside the ravioli was real, fresh, big chunks of lobster. The prawns looked big and juicy too and the dish was presented beautifully. I was tempted to be honest, but I stuck to my guns with choosing not to eat seafood (was the most difficult it’s been since I stopped eating it months ago!). However I am told this dish was perfect and delicious. It was a tough decision on which Main dish to go for. Vito recommends the traditional Carbonara. BTW don’t offend him by going to his ITALIAN restaurant and asking for an English or practically made up version of Carbonara in a cream sauce or with chicken in it – that is not a Carbonara and not an authentic Italian dish. I couldn’t believe when he told me that he had previous customers asking for it this was and giving a bad review when he said that he did not serve Carbonara in such a way. However, that night the meal that caught my eye most on the menu was Strascinati Con Salsiccia Lucana (nope I couldn’t pronounce it either) – Strascinati (this word comes from the meaning to “pull” as you can see in the shape of the pasta) cooked with homemade sausage meat, tomato sauce, basil and chilli. (Typical pasta from Vito’s hometown). Wow – the dish looked amazing, tasted amazing and it was amazing that I actually ate the whole bowl-full, but I did 😛 Really good choice and right up my street in terms of taste and ingredients. Ben went for a good old Calzone – Folded pizza filled with ham, mozzarella and tomato, made the traditional Italian way. The dough was perfectly folded and just thick enough that it was lovely and crispy on the outside and still soft on the inside. Fully packed with delicious ingredients, this Calzone did not disappoint, however it just beat him as he was so full. I tried it myself of course and agreed that it was really tasty. As well as the food going down extremely well, I loved the house red wine too – a Primitivo from the Apulia region, a really smooth wine. I am definitely going to get me a bottle of this for the weekend! 2 alcoholic drinks, 2 starters, 2 mains and some olives to start came to just under £60 which we thought was very reasonable and was superb value for money for the quality of food that we received. I think this restaurant would be somewhere great to go for a date or with the family for an occasion.

This is by far our favourite Italian restaurant that we have been visiting for many years. The owner, Vito, is a true gent and treats you like family with every visit. The food and wine is always spectacular and for those who like a tipple of whisky, well you'll be in for a treat here, as Vito has some of the most tastiest whiskys for you to sample.

Visiting the UK from the US for the first time. Landed in Sheffield and there's a reason Ashoka came up highly recommended on the interweb - I've never had Indian food quite like this. It's a combination of authentic, modern, and reminiscent of something my favorite aunties would make on only special occasions - only better. Get the Karamelized Kashmiri, and if you like it spicy, the Taxi Driver Curry. They probably trademarked them for a reason! Staff was amazing, warm, and welcoming. Remembered me and greeted me personally after I returned for a 2nd non-consecutive night - because I just had to make the 1.5 mile trek on foot to eat here again on my 4 night stay. I may just come back for a 3rd go...

WOW!!! Came here for a graduation meal and it was amazing! The staff were so friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was classy yet relaxed. The food! Wowowowowow so good! We had a range of curries between us and would recommend all of them. They also cater for your personal spice tolerance which was great. Also amazing value for money. Loved every bit of this experience wish I wasn’t leaving Sheffield so I could go again ASAP!!

Ashoka was so inviting and had great atmosphere! The booths are a bit small but great for a cozy meal or date night. From the poppadoms and chutneys the meal was off to a stellar start, everything tasted homemade, fresh and flavoursome. The Kashmiri curry and mixed grill were also superb - lovely charcoaled flavour on the grilled meats and a deep complex, umami flavour in the Kashmiri chicken curry. The naan and rice were incredible too, perfectly executed. It felt like a really special meal and not one I’ll forget soon. The service was also great and we received lots of tap water. The beer was one of the best I’ve ever had - it went perfectly with the meal.

A nice little Indian! It was my second time coming tonight. Lovely flavours to the curry and some less traditional curries to choose from. What let it down for me was the level of spice, medium felt like mild and hot felt like medium. Slightly over priced as well but otherwise a decent option for an Indian

Asoka on Ecclesall Road in Sheffield is a true gem and a beloved institution since 1967. My recent visit was nothing short of exceptional. The food was superb! I had a reyt spiceh curreh, which was hot but incredibly tasty. The flavors were perfectly balanced, making it a delightful culinary experience. The pairing of dishes is excellent, with lots of local produce factored into the menu, showcasing the best of what Sheffield has to offer. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and you can feel the rich history and tradition in every corner. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend Asoka to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious Indian meal in Sheffield. This place truly stands the test of time!

Update. Ashoka continues to be our favourite Indian restaurant in Sheffield. This evening we enjoyed great service, freshly cooked super flavoursome food in a really relaxed and friendly environment-Another lovely evening at the Ashoka. Beautifully cooked and presented Indian food, served in a small and lively venue. The lamb chops were the most tender I have ever eaten, and the Taxi driver curry was really rich and tasty. The Nan breads were a perfect accompaniment to mop up the sauce. Also a good selection of beers.

service from hannah and ava was great!! so lovely, and very quick and attentive. the food was so delicious, cooked by tom and ivo, it was perfect. i got the sticky chicken and cauliflower bites for starter, and the korean chicken burger for main. i can't wait to come back!

We had an absolutely brilliant time. The food and cocktails were absolutely fantastic and Lily was nothing short of sensational. Lily was extremely polite, tentative and nothing was too difficult for her even with some tricky requests from our large group. Absolutely amazing.

Our favourite curry house in Sheffield, put simply the food here is delicious. By far the most tasty we have tried. Staff are always very pleasant and take good care of you, checking food is good for each course! Can’t recommend this place enough!

I thoroughly enjoyable experience. I've been a few times before and frankly have not been impressed (friends' choice and not mine). So when some friends were over from Tenerife suggested we go here I wasn't too excited. Alas, this was totally different. The food was absolutely top notch and the service was first class. In short, this was faultless. Very close to five stars; perhaps I'll have to go again and ensure this wasn't a one off!!

Had a great time here, the staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is alright. We really enjoyed the lamb dish and they didn’t recommend the butter chicken to us but still would like to try it, has anyone had it? This is one of the best North Indian restaurants in Sheffield. Wouldn’t recommend the fish grill, my husband did say fish dishes aren’t popular in northern India but we gave it a try. Would definitely go back and try some other dishes. The lamb was particularly good!

We have been going to Butlers for many years but have never left a review. It is one of the best Indian restaurants in Sheffield. In fact when someone asks me what Indian to recommend, Butlers is always thrown in there. We were looked after by Waj from beginning to end. He was very attentive, professional and basically on the ball with the service throughout the evening. He always spares time to have a chat and a laugh with us 😃 Food was delicious, we didn't have to wait long at all from ordering which was great. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great Indian meal with excellent quality and great service 👌

Delicious curry all round and probably the best I’ve had in Sheffield. Arabian lamb, balti lemon chicken and jalfrezi were our main dishes and nothing disappointed. Service was perfect. Friendly, attentive and personal, with waiters who clearly took pride in their work, quality of service and their outstanding home made dishes. Thank you Butlers, we will be back!

Incredible food, best Balti I have had in years, will definitely be returning here. It was incredibly busy so service was a little slow at times, did not get asked if we wanted more drinks and it took about 30 mins to pay the bill. The atmosphere was busy, it was very loud and at times I struggled to hear my partner across the table from me, making conversation difficult. I would go back but I'd try and go at an "Off peak" time, That way I can enjoy the great food, get improved service and be able to hear my partner speak. Would recommend, just go in off peak hours.

THE PIZZAS WERE RAW! Worse pizza & pizza delivery experience of my life. First they send the wrong pizza. We wait for the right ones to arrive. And then? They send raw pizzas!!! Absolutely not edible. They had to know that. Horrible customer experience. And now we’ll see if we get refunded…

Love the pizza here, delicious. Really good kids menu which is generous and cost effective. But as it gets into winter I think anyone sat near the door will get sick of the deliveroo drivers making the restaurant cold. Maybe request a table downstairs. We were booked for 6pm and our food arrived quickly. Very tasty. Did have to keep chasing the service for taking plates away and the bill. Our kids love it here though so we would be back. The waitresses were kind and cute with our children.

Proove in broomhill used to be my favourite place to eat - I have genuinely eaten some of the nicest pizzas in my life here but since last year it has gone incredibly downhill (pictures attached). I would no longer recommend proove as a place to go as the quality of the food is now so bad in comparison. The first pictures uploaded are from 2023 and the last picture was from my last visit. The toppings are consistently stingy, especially regarding the cheese and tomato sauce which is just laughable. It’s so unfortunate as it used to be the best pizzas in sheffield. No longer worth the money.

Proove pizza catered for our wedding in the Peak District and were absolutely fantastic. Everyone said how delicious the pizzas were. Sam and Andrew were excellent hosts and it was great fun to watch them in action. We would highly recommend for any event where you need to feed a crowd!

Embarrassingly bad. We sat down and the table was covered in honey, like obviously there’s going to be honey on their but don’t have someone guide you to a table that hasn’t be cleaned. So we had to get the woman to clean the table and it was still sticky even without the honey, clearly the varnish from the table had been left on and not dried out properly. We then moved to another 4 seat table had to move back because the woman wanted us to, come on we’re paying you good money for this! Waited 35 minutes to be asked what we were ordering which was absolutely ridiculous, we were just sat waiting doing nothing. Ordered the food and 3 of the meals had arrived 20 minutes later and the fourth was not here. The fourth meal came out 15 minutes later than the first three which just straight up terrible service.for was okay but not worth the £20 maybe a fiver! We have recently ordered form prove online and they didn’t even cook our food so when the delivery driver got there he couldn’t take our food which is just pure lazy. Overall not very good food rude and impatient staff and atmosphere and furniture was terrible. Don’t go to proove go to rudys in town a millions times better and a bit cheaper as well

A nice Asian restaurant in Sheffield. Although the shop named 'cafe', but it is actually an asian fine dinning. We ordered a Vietnamese Style stir pork, a corn soup, Vietnamese fried noodle, Crispy duck, starter salad and a 'set' of Vietnamese coffee. The staff are helpful and friendly. All the dishes are much better than we expected. The fried style dishes are dry enough not oily. The duck served with skins (sth like nan bread), scallion and cucumbers seems to be a tradition serving of Beijing Style (?). Basically, it was a lovely dinning experience. Recommend it.

If I could give it 10 stars I would. We eat a lot of ramen, noodles and oriental food. This is by far the best I've had in Sheffield. The big noodle soup is gigantic. I had the 3 Roasties soup. 12 huge chunks of meat . The stir fry noodles were amazing too. The satay chicken starter are very large skewers Can't wait to go back

The menu has a wide choice and tells you if the dish contains gluten, nuts etc. So it's suitable for special dietary requirements. Lots of veggie options. Food was delicious and you get big portions.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Life-Changing Beef & Seafood – Saigon 68 Listen… I’ve eaten a lot of meals in my life – some good, some bad, some that made me question my decisions. But tonight at Saigon 68? This was different. This was spiritual. The chargrilled beef? Smoky, tender, like it had been kissed by a BBQ angel with impeccable timing. The mixed salt & pepper seafood platter? Honestly, I’d fight my own family for the last prawn. Crispy on the outside, soft and fresh inside – it’s like they’ve weaponised flavour. Service? Superb. The staff looked at me in a way that said “We’ve seen you fall in love with that squid” – and they were right. The vibe? Relaxed, but with the quiet hum of people clearly having the best meals of their lives without making a scene. This isn’t just dinner. This is the sort of food that makes you want to write poetry, or at least a strongly worded email to your past self asking why you haven’t been here sooner. Sheffield, take note: if you haven’t been to Saigon 68, you’re basically living a half-life.

Ordered the set menu F for two people which also included starters. The food was amazing! Friendly service and the food was brought out quickly. Great vegetarian selection available. Would definitely visit again.

This is such a great restaurant. The menu is really big, there is a fabulous vegan and vegetarian choice. Food served quickly, portions enormous, don't be afraid to ask for leftovers to go. Very welcoming. Not plush or upscale, just brilliant fresh cooked food!

Second best pub in Sheffield after Shakespeare's for me. Attractive and well-preserved interiors and a relaxed atmosphere.

The Fat Cat is an unspoiled traditional two roomed pub. There is a wide selection of beers lager and cider including egiht cask conditioned hand-pulled real ales. The cask ales we sampled were in excellent condition. It's not a food pub but they sell the best pork pies i have tasted. There is a very nice large sheltered beer garden with a covered area. The pub is regularly featured in the camra good beer guide a visit is highly recommended.

Excellent pub with large selection of local beers, including from the brewery next door. Great value roasts served on Sundays and local pork pies to buy at the bar. What not to like. Nice garden.

Nice traditional pub in Kelham with an excellent range of (mostly local) keg beers and a selection of pork pies and sausage rolls for food. However, as it was a warm day, my wife had an Italian lager and I opted for a very refreshing Schneider Weiße beer. Hope to return soon.

The Fat Cat has a long and distinguished history as a cask ale pub. And it is indeed THE best cask ale pub in Sheffield! Great staff, great selection of beers, great atmosphere, and a nice beer garden to the rear. It doesn't look like much from outside (or indeed inside), but the atmosphere is just infectious and invites communication among the punters. Of course, pub food and snacks are available, too. Carry on the good work! If you're doing a pub crawl in the Kelham Island area - and you should - don't miss out on this great establishment!

The staff are absolutely lovely. We were in late and they made sure we had a safe way home. They also were just a good crack to talk to. There was a young lad begond tbe bar on a Sunday evening and he was so friendly, recommended us some good ciders and spirits. It's more of a pub than bar but would definitely recommend to anyone in the kelhem island area

I visited this restaurant for lunch and tried the all you can eat option. The food was tasty, and I especially enjoyed the broccoli and the pork belly. They were quite light on spices, something I think could be turned up a notch, but overall, I enjoyed all the dishes anyway. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was comfortable. Overall, I would gladly come back and definitely recommend this place.

All you can eat for 2 hours at £19.99, we thought this was really good value for money. We were sat at the table and our order was taken, we got to choose 3 dishes each for our first round, we got Satay skewers, chips, salt and chilli chips, sweet & sour chicken, popcorn chicken and ribs. In our second round, we got Kung Pao chicken (we weren't too keen), chicken curry, shredded chicken, shredded beef, beef in brocoli, beef in black bean sauce. All the food was beautifully prepared and generous portion sizes. We were absolutely stuffed. The staff were really nice and the atmosphere was lovely and quiet as we came not long after opening. We will definitely return 😊😋

The food here never disappoint me, it was amazing, especially the peking ribs and salt & pepper wings. Will recommend it to others and will be back again. The all you can eat menu is worth to try, spending £19.99 for incredible amount of food. 👍

Absolutely delicious Garlic Pork Roast! I had the Garlic Pork Roast at Noodle Inn Centro and it completely exceeded my expectations. The pork was incredibly tender, with just the right amount of crisp on the outside, and bursting with garlic flavor without being overpowering. The portion size was generous and perfectly complemented by the rice and vegetables. If you’re a fan of savory, comforting dishes with bold flavors, this is a must-try. Friendly staff and quick service, too. I’ll definitely be back!

Tasty, cooked to order Chinese food. Lots of choice and enough time to get your fill. It’s nice to order several different sharing dishes to try new things and have a mixture of flavours. Enjoyed by adults and children alike.

I was en route to Weston Park and spotted the Forum which is close to Devonshire Green. It’s a big venue but there was a board outside advertising coffee so I went and was directed to the coffee bar area down several steps (there is an entrance to the coffee bar coming in by the external seating area which avoids steps). I ordered an oat milk latte and sat on one of the high stools. I asked about gluten free cakes etc and the barista pointed out a chocolate brownie. This was in a display case next to other products, not correctly labelled with no cover or separate serving equipment. I advised the barista about this but got no response other than a bemused look. NB I am not coeliac but avoid gluten. The coffee was good.

Visited for breakfast with vouchers for free coffee after shopping at Vulgar, next door. The vegan danish was lovely, fruit with a chocolate ganache. Forum has a very cool environment and the music is great. The perfect start to our last day in Sheffield.

Hired a private space for a work social with food for over 20 of us. The space was perfect and private without being too tucked away and the food was excellent. Great selection of dishes that worked for all dietary requirements, clearly labelled and staff were very attentive all night. Great selection of drinks. Would recommend for any catering and work events.

Went for brunch following the Sheffield Mutual 10k run. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Food took a while, but when it arrived it was really good. Three of us each had different options. I chose eggs,sour dough toast & bacon. It was delicious! Gorgeous buttery toast, runny fried eggs and crispy bacon. You could taste the quality of the ingredients in this simple meal ❤️

Love this place, they have a huge variety of drinks and great no alcohol options for drivers too! We enjoyed 2for1 pizza and it was delicious. The staff team are always welcoming and helpful!

I went in with a group of friends for a leaving do. We had a couple of beers, it seems quite a busy place with several areas for seating, including a beer garden. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about what they were selling. All in all well worth a visit

We ordered a take away so can’t comment on the atmosphere. This meal was absolutely shambolic. Chips cold and stale. Vine leaves freezing in the vegetarian meal and no rice. salad a half attempt at a Greek salad, tomatoes on the turn. Luke warm meat in the mixed plate meal. It is as though it’s been sat and forgotten about. The Greek sausage was good though cold. I seldom leave poor reviews but standards need addressing here as we were recommended by locals. Poor show!!

I ordered the eat in Traditional Pork Gyros Wrap which their menus has at £8.25. Delicious. Just checked my online banking. Was charged £18.75! Did they misunderstand? Did they think I was asking for a main meal? No idea but I was clear what I pointed to on the menu when I ordered and my lesson learned is always check the card reader when you pay. Shame. Liked it there but never returning.

Foods usually good although got two gyros yesterday which had 3 pieces of chicken in, and was basically padded out with fried onion. Felt a bit ripped off. That said, first time I’ve ever had a disappointing meal there so hopefully a one off.

Cold and overpriced, my entire warp was drenched in sauce, 5-6 bits of chicken presentation is shocking, too much salad, specifically asked for no tomato but was still given soggy tomatoes. Ruined my entire meal and had a frozen pizza instead! Do not spend a penny here, and reading other reviews this is not a unique experience. I wish I had done so before I ordered.

Got a mixed wrap. The portion size was generous and had a good amount of meat and salad. Having just been to Greece it would say it as good as anything I had over there. I’ll be eating here again…..and again. Oh and it was was so reasonably priced

I ordered from Greedy Greek Deli and was extremely disappointed. Whoever cooked the food that was delivered to me has never been to Greece and is not Greek. The flavors were bland, the quality was poor, and it tasted nothing like authentic Greek cuisine. I will never order from here again and I do not recommend it to you.

Food took a while, but was delicious paired with generous portions. Pricing was great for what you get. A good selection of pies and a lovely interior that takes you back in time. The music fits the vibe perfectly. Opted for a steak and ale pie that did not skimp on filling with mushy peas, chips and gravy. The gravy was pleasant and the chips had a crunch exterior coupled with a soft, fluffy interior. The mushy pies were rather bland, but did not take away from the overall meal. A lovely pie and a lovely place to stop by with friends.

Top tier pie! Always consistent. Good pastry! A range of filings. Strong portion of gravy! Get there early as it is a fight for tables as it’s always busy! Amazing value for money - 10/10!

Quality pies! I opted for the Steak and Guinness which comes with mushy peas and gravy - I paired it with a pint of Beavertown’s Neck Oil. I can see why this place has a reputation for its home made pies. All round good pub and excellent pies.

This pub is a well deserved spot after dropping our son to new uni digs. It's the second time we have come here and the staff are friendly and helpful. But the pies are amazing, so many different fillings to suit anyone. so delicious. Bar has a wide range of drink's hot and cold. Car/van parking was very easy, just on the side street, small cost.

Our son recommended this pub for its pies. And we were NOT DISAPPOINTED!! My wife is a vegetarian and well-catered for with pie options - she loved hers. Mine was a Steak and Stilton - lovely! My son had a Chicken one. All were tasty, mashed potato great and... mushy peas. As a Southerner, I'm not used to or like the thought of mushy peas. I've managed to avoid them for many years until this evening. But, I do have to say, I ate them and enjoyed them. That's a new taste and texture experience for me!🤣 Plus, I enjoyed the local beer!

This cafe was recommended by a neighbour and I was so impressed! I met a friend for a late breakfast and we were not disappointed. The staff were so lovely and accommodating, couldn't do enough to make our visit comfortable. We ordered the "English breakfast" and breakfast waffles. Both we cooked freshly to order, we didn't wait too long though, and wow were they spectacular to look at 🤩 Only surpassed by how yummy the food was! These dishes are clearly made by someone who really enjoys what they do. I would highly recommend this cafe for anyone who likes really good food, and a lovely atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

Popped in here for a quick lunch not expecting much but oh boy was I wrong. First of all, everyone in there was very friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming and clean. At first we thought the menu was quite pricey (Around 12 pounds for most items) but after getting the food we concluded that it was definitely worth the price. I had the Dhaba Chicken and every single bite was so flavourful, the mix of savoury spice from the curry, sweetness from the oranges, the sour tanginess from the pickles, and the aroma from the greens just work so well together. The ingredients tasted so fresh as well. One of the best westernised Indian food I’ve ever tried. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing food. Portion sizes were good value for money. Really lovely interior which was beautifully decorated. Friendly staff and great service. They also had a selection of sweet treats in the counter ready to eat inside or takeaway. Great if you’re looking for any veggie or vegan food.

I recently came across this amazing café as I walked from my hotel, looking for a place to lunch, and the name intrigued me. As I stepped in, the beautiful interiors and aroma of flavours welcomed me and I knew I was going to be a regular here during my stay. The perfect blend of a lively, cosy space, with a great menu, serving a fusion of western dishes with an Indian twist, delivered with a smile - what more do you want on a sunny day! Bun samosa, the lavish English breakfast spread, Rajmah rice, Butter chicken and masala chai were the absolute favourites!! It’s a must to eat here if you’re in Sheffield, as it’s an experience one would regret if missed. Kudos to the team & owners for building such an awesome brand!

Consistently excellent falafel wraps! The only downside is the queue during university term time. Popular with students and Hallamshire Hospital staff. Friendly team serving. Great halloumi, aubergine and cauliflower options for veggies! You really should try it!

The falafel was delicious! I ordered one with avocado 🥑, and it was amazing. The service was good as well. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars instead of 4 is the payment policy; they only accept cash. I would definitely give it 5 stars if they could resolve this issue.

One of my favourite places in Sheffield for a quick bite. Extremely tasty falafel, generous portions and the tandoori chicken is excellent. The staff are also extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful, providing recommendations. The trick is to go for the small size wraps, which are more than filling. I would suggest even only one main ingredient is necessary, resulting in a more-than-filling wrap for only £5. The cash-only gig is slightly annoying bit I’m more than happy to put up with that for the great food. This place certainly deserves 5 stars.

Great lunch stop off joint if you fancy something different. The queues are out the door most of the time. I went for the Chicken and Spicy Potato, and a Falafel and Halloumi large wrap. I also ordered a portion of meat samosas. All the staff are super friendly and despite being busy busy, still took the time out to chat to every customer. The gentleman manning the till was literally flying around allover the shop. Was impressive to watch! The wraps were amazing…. The sauces we added were, Chilli, mint and Tahini. The large option will have you well and truly stuffed. The samosas weren't great if I’m honest. They were tiny and made of filo pastry, not of proper pastry as shown on their own menu board. If I’d known they were filo, I’d not have ordered them. Their great service and expectional wraps made up for the samosa.

Without a doubt the best falafel wrap you can get in Sheffield. Love the salad here, I basically get everything. You can get falafel with a wide range of different ingredients. My favourite is falafel with spicy potato but the falafel with aubergine is also delicious. The staff are so lovely and the service is very quick. I never know what sauce to get but their sauce recommendations always turn out perfect 🤩 There’a a few small tables to sit down but I think most people usually take their wraps out. Decor is kind of eclectic which ends up feeling really sort of authentically Egyptian😭🫶 Honestly love this place, imo they’ve perfected their recipe and menu and I hope it never changes :3

We came here for dinner on a Saturday night and were blown away by how amazing the staff are. Our ticket got lost on its way to the kitchen meaning we were waiting a long time, but once we raised this to the staff they rushed our order and gave us some drinks on the house which was very generous of them. We had the strawberry and watermelon cocktails and thought they were gorgeous! We ordered chicken tacos, fish tacos, corn ribs and some tortilla chips and dips. Everything was super fresh and delicious- our favourite dish was most definitely the fish tacos. We found this to be enough food between the two of us. This restaurant has a lovely vibe and we are keen to come back a bit later on to enjoy the music.

I’d heard a lot of hype about Piña from friends and online reviews, so I went in with high expectations. Service-wise, I can’t fault it; the front of house team were genuinely lovely, attentive, and welcoming. Drinks were also decent, my mocktail with added spiced rum was tasty, though my friend’s frozen strawberry margarita leaned a bit too sweet. Unfortunately, the food was a huge letdown and probably the worst Mexican-style food I’ve had. We tried three different taco varieties and each fell short. The jerk chicken tacos were easily the worst of the bunch. The chicken came in suspiciously uniform cubes, like frozen, machine-prepped meat. It was excessively dry, not just a little but inedibly so. The mango and chilli salsa had no heat at all, and all the tacos themselves were torn in half, not because they were overfilled or moist. When I raised this with the chef, I was met with a grunt and told “there’s cutlery at the bar, speak to them.” Not exactly the attitude you’d hope for. The beef tacos were completely lacking flavour. The meat tasted plain and unseasoned, and the consommé that accompanied it was equally bland, with none of the depth or richness you’d expect. The lamb tacos were the best of a bad bunch, but still underwhelming. The “minted guac” was barely noticeable, adding neither taste nor texture to the dish. Overall, it felt like style over substance. The front of house team tried their best, but the kitchen let the whole experience down. I left feeling very disappointed given the hype. Maybe it was just a bad day, but if so, it was really bad. As they were fairly busy in the drinks front and the chef seemed genuinely disinterested, it was the first time I didn’t say anything at the time - something I hate…. £63 for the two of us, absolutely not worth it and I feel robbed.

Very good place for Mexican food, quick service, good menu, very good food, reasonably priced. A new favourite in Kelham Island.

£90 for 3 including alcohol takes me back to the halcyon days of dining in the early 2000s. Definitely great value and really friendly service! As for the food. We enjoyed 7 small plates between us and then dessert each. No complaints on any of them. All very different and all super tasty. Will certainly be going back and would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about going.

Four of us went for Saturday dinner and it was a wonderful dining experience. We practically ordered one of everything on the menu and were impressed with the unique and well presented dishes, with unusual flavours and local ingredients. Great wine list and knowledgeable service. The dishes arrived gradually allowing us to share and try a bit of everything! Reasonably priced for the quality - roughly £150 for four, including drinks and service charge. Despite excellent food and service, I thought the decor and environment could have been more warm and welcoming. I found the chairs uncomfortable and it was cold inside. If you are into your food and looking for a 'grown-up taste' experience in Sheffield, Tonco is the place to come in! Great atmosphere and exceptionally well-cooked dishes. The owners of the place work there so it's guaranteed that you will be well looked after. My only regret is that I didn't take enough pictures. So definitely will be coming back to address this! Top tip: make sure you book your table in advance. The place is very popular so it's unlikely that you will be able to walk in and get a table

A brilliant meal in a welcome new addition to the neighbourhood. A changing menu based on seasonal ingredients and an interesting wine list, you'll have a great experience whenever you go. A friendly, local place that I can't wait to visit more.

Some of the best service I've had at a restaurant! Dogs allowed outside. They have heated seats and will bring blankets if still cold, but the seats were amazing! We were a group of 5 and shared one of each thing on the menu, all delicious and worth tasting. The wild garlic croquettes were 👌 Would highly recommend.

This is now just the Wig and Pen with the pizzas inside. It was very quiet, but I was there mid week evening. Food was ok, beer was ok, I would go again, but it might be better on a weekday lunch time or weekend evening.

Great Pizza, Good Atmosphere We've started to frequent the Wig more in recent times. For a small group of friends we think the place is ideal. You have a mixture of bar seating and open/closed seating in the restaurant. Whatever your The staff are always ready and willing to help. Table service is provided and you'll never go short on anything. The food is always good - we've never had a bad order. The pizza is great! Most of the time we have one each and that's enough. The sweet potato fires are also something special. There is always a good selection of beers. They have a rotation on the taps and a good choice of hard to find bottles & cans.

Great pizzas and fab cocktails. Service was a little slow, bit it was Saturday night and we weren't in a rush so it wasn't a problem for us. All the pizzas we had were up to the usual high standards, and the starters were excellent to. FYI, if you want to pay with the app to earn points, only one person can do it so if you're splitting the bill, you can't all pay using your apps.

Overall a good spot. The variety of stalls are good and the prices are great. They have a good nail place and a really lovely fruit and veg stall. The bathrooms aren’t the nicest but you get what you pay for and they’re free so.. It also has a variety of means and other produce which means it’s a bit smelly but nothing pinching your nose can’t fix

I normally avoid markets, but the Moor Market is excellent. Harking back to bustling, interesting markets full of great produce and nic nacs, this market fits the bill. It was also great to see people queuing up at butcher stalls etc. a testament to the quality of the produce.

We came to Sheffield for a day out and found this market, as food lovers and keen cooks it was like a dream come true. It has so much to offer and the prices were very reasonable for fresh produce. We stopped for lunch in the very wide raining food court for lunch and weren't disappointed. I had a chicken shawarma and my partner had a lamb curry from fireworks of flavour, the price and portions were excellent and the quality very high.

A simple market with fresh meat, fruit and vegetables but limited food options. Perhaps I was expecting something like the Camden market or Borough market in London. Some of the butchers sell meat pies and there are a few food stalls as well as some stalls selling coffee and bear too. Nothing special really in the Moor Market for me.

Steer food and big space for enjoy the night, lot of choices even for vegan, bakery as well, music and drinks, is situated next to kelham island, east to reach by car or bus. Worth it try for the variety of food and the atmosphere, this place is open all year long so there is always something going on here. Recommend to all!

❌ NOT recommended. ❌ Extremely HORRIBLE air quality. 10 food trucks cooking food in an unventilated space and burning scrap wood outside. Perfect way to get carbon monoxide poisoning and respiratory diseases. Music is also TOO loud.

Always a fab event. So many amazing food trucks to try and small businesses to support. I've experienced being one of the small businesses and it was truly a great experience to market myself and get my business out there!

Situated outside the city centre. Great atmosphere, looked great and seems well organised. Expensive stalls serving small portions of average tasting food (looked great, like the coconut "ice cream" that tasted of nothing). Won't be going back next year. Most dishes are around £5. Most stalls accept card.

Great vibe! I really liked the fried chicken burger there. It even had parmesan cheese and pesto in it! 10/10 would recommend. The milkshakes were average in the icecream/milkshake shop. (I forgot the name of both the shops)

The food was alright, nothing out of the ordinary, it felt more like fast food than street food to me. I was a bit disappointed as I was expecting unusual twists on street food but it seemed quite ordinary. We got the smoked sausage hotdog, nachos and the Korean style burger. The sausage didn't seem smoked at all but the rosemary chips were good. The portions were huge. You have to scan the barcode on the table to order everything online, similar to online shopping and they take card only. They do different stalls each month so they might have some better options upcoming but for me I don't think I will be coming back.

Came here for some chill work drinks after work on a Wednesday. Was extremely quiet so didn't need the reservation I had made in the end! I would guess that it gets very busy at peak times though given the area that it's in. Everyone really enjoyed their food and drinks, and the outdoor area too which was nice as it was sunny. The staff were also great about my allergies that I mentioned - the chef informed me that he just wasn't sure about the sauce on the burger so would I like to swap it for something else, which I appreciated - I would rather they be honest about any uncertainty! It made me feel really confident about what I was eating. Would definitely recommend coming here!

Had a Roast Dinner this afternoon with my family, who visited from Leicester. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food, best Sunday lunch I’ve had in AGES. Would definitely come back and will definitely recommend - also great value for what you’re getting!!!

Great spot for grabbing a pint in Neepsend! The vibe’s laid-back with both indoor and outdoor seating — perfect whether you’re chasing sunshine or hiding from the rain. Staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. Bonus points for being open late, which is always a win in this part of town. Plus, they’ve got dart boards if you’re feeling a little competitive after a couple of drinks. Definitely one to keep in the rotation!

Came here for the Sunday roast and it was absolutely fantastic and delicious. You get a lot for your money too (Sunday Roast £13). We thought the price was excellent. I went for the Lamb, tender and full of flavour. Staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. The interior was very cool as well, plus very comfy seats. Already recommending this place to others.

Great food and service but I would recommend not going if you’re a Sheffield United fan! I went for the SUFC play off final, obviously the bar can’t control who goes in there and this is no criticism on the bar but during the second half of the match there were a group of Sheffield Wednesdays fans by the dart boards who were walking up and down cheering when Sunderland scored and being quite intimidating towards me and other united fans in the bar. Like I said it’s not the bars fault but if you ever want to watch a united match I’d suggest going elsewhere

Excellent food and brilliant staff. Beer decent, but the whole place tries a bit too hard to be retro. Won't be a problem to most, but I have to knock a star off for it.

Theming itself like a social club, you would be forgiven for presuming that food wouldn't be prioritized here, but you would be wrong- wow was it good! Unpretentious British food, cooked extremely well and presented beautifully. This place does the kind of home cooked style comfort food you really want to eat, and does it with a focus on flavour and quality. Prices were also very affordable and fair. It's a really fun chilled place to hang out, with great local craft beers on tap, games like darts and table football (that James won a match of by the skin of this teeth), and a really cool interior reminiscent of a working men's club but with a new modern twist on the theme. Staff were also super friendly and helpful -and there was Aircon! Food we tried - 🥚🥔 Cheese and leek rissole with a hendos egg, crunchy and cheese and the hendos egg went perfectly. 🫒🧀 Green veg with fetta on toast, fresh and delicious 👌 🍗🍟Chicken in a basket with chips gravy and slaw - I'm gonna say it - the best fried chicken I've ever had 😱 really juicy and crunchy with a sticky drizzle. The peppery gravy just made it too 10/10 meal. 🍖🌿Pork chop with bubble & squeak and cider gravy - super juicy tasty pork ! Caper herb salad made it spot on too. Another top notch plate of food. 🍧 Knickerbocker glory - one of the best puds I've ever had ! Yummy red berry compot, cream and custard and crunchy nut brittle and biscuit bits. Absolute heaven. Might have to get one just for me next time 😂 On another note we are so happy these guys went with the honest Neepsend name 💪 -Instead of all this extended Kelham washing. 😂 If you know you know 😂 Already planning my next work do here, and we will definitely be back on the regular. I had high expectations visiting Bench but felt a bit deflated after the meal. The drinks were great and the staff are lovely! Some of the dishes were excellent whilst others were overpriced or bland. The cured trout dish and the butternut squash dish were the highlights - couldn’t fault them. The fazoletti was quite bland and almost wet. The beef short rib caesar salad was overpriced and not worth the money. It cost £18 for 6 small pieces of beef, some lettuce, slices of pear and parmesan.

Took my friend for her 30th. She had two mocktails which she enjoyed. I was going to order a wine but when I asked the wines on the board by the glass were 125ml measures for £9-11 a small glass. Decided this was crazyyy expensive so got a Spritz for £9 which I enjoyed. The food was good but some flavours overpowering like the spice level with the smokey chipotle with the courgette was overwhelming. I also thought the meat dish was disappointing and the meat was very fatty, we didn't finish it. We had a panacotta for desert, it was nice but not a panacotta. I wanted to love this place and it fell short unfortunately.

I have been very excited to try the food here for a long time. It was all very tasty - we tried most of the menu. There wasn't really a single standout dish though. The staff were generally friendly, but we visited when it was really hot inside and I felt a bit judged when I asked for ice to go with my wine... For the price point and style of restaurant I expected a little bit more.

Second time visiting here for out anniversary. Food was even better than the last time. Service was great as always, thanks to Biba for making the night special, and thanks to Sarah who look after us during the meal. Great selection of wine also. Going to try their bakery before returning again.

The food is very nice. We enjoyed the cod croquettes, mussels with chorizo and the tomato salad. The wines and cocktails were very good. The service was a bit stuffy - clearing plates before we were finished and rushing us out. Felt like we couldn't fully relax. But a nice experience overall, with very good food.

We were a party of 13 and the small Bench team were absolutely primed for us - efficient, friendly, no delays or hiccups. Short but good wine list. Not every item on the menu worked - cod crudo was bland, the roquefort cream with griddled broccoli was overpoweringly rich - but others, such as roasted beetroot with tahini, and a larger plate of chicken with green olives and preserved lemon, were excellent. We spent about £50 per head on food, which is very reasonable.

Nice little pace in nether edge, we were really looking forward to this evening! Booked the reservation online and before we got there we received an email asking if we could change times due to a large table at the same time, fair enough understand. Got there the server asked if had a booking which I said yes gave my name and she just looked confused 🤷🏻‍♂️ Showed us to a table took our coats, gave us menus, explained the menus, then asked us to change tables and apologised with free drinks. We were then just enjoying our drinks after the food and we had a couple at the door looking at us as the server told them they were waiting for us to finish our dessert so they could have our table, the server then came to us and said they needed the table we had 10 mins. We were there under two hours, first time I’ve ever been asked to leave a table while still drinking (I’d have happily sat at a bar but they didn’t have one) Foods ok staff need to communicate more so they know what’s going on.

Extra £1 per item just to sit on their chairs and then they were stingy with the sauce anyway, what a joke. £31 for 4 sandwiches, 4 pork pies, and 3 drinks

Been to Ego many times, my son and I had the hanging kebab. Wasn't to my taste but he enjoyed it! Daughter's steak was a bit fatty, apart from that all good. I forget the waiter that served us but he couldn't have done more for us on my Daughter's 21st birthday! Booked table for 5pm, which is 2 for 1 cocktails f9r an hour, all in all a great evening. Next time I go I'll have the Seabass which is fantastic and the pasta and pizza are also excellent.

Went for a birthday meal. Great cocktails, delicious food (lamb rump and lemon tart pictured). New menu great value with something for everyone. Staff always go above and beyond. Does get busy so best to book, depending where sitting can get drafty.

So for years I’ve been recommending this place as a ‘go to’ for pretty much everything… a relaxed evening with some cocktails on the terrace, light lunch through the day or a meal in the evening for occasions- anyone visiting Sheffield I’ve always recommended this place. It had been a while since I last visited myself, but the other day me and a friend came in for lunch. We’d seen the promotion giving the option of 2 or 3 courses for a set price on a Wednesday. Wow… The hanging kebabs were included (pleasantly surprised), and the quality and freshness of the food was outstanding. So much flavour! The interior in this place is always bright and feels well looked after. Staff were super attentive and approachable, drinks were (and still are) good quality- not like a lot of the cheap sugary cocktails in other local bars. This place truly never disappoints. I’m so glad I can confidently say it’s a consistently LOVELY place to go in Sheffield.

On a very busy Saturday evening, we had tickets to see Alison Steadman at the Crucible, and due to traffic our previous table at another restaurant understandably got given away. With little time to spare, we rushed into Ego on the off chance that they’d have a table for two - we could see it was packed, but the kind staff member on the door (we believe was the GM) was able to squeeze us in. The food was delicious, chicken Milanese and prawn chilli linguine were absolutely superb!! Really quick service. All staff went above and beyond, even when it was a very busy Saturday evening and they were in high demand, with plenty of large tables/parties to cater too also. The atmosphere was really nice, very well organised and efficient. I was surprised at how amazing the food was, and shall definitely be returning to try other dishes! Very much appreciated them making room for us, and it worked out better for us, as we got to try a new restaurant that I’m sure will quickly become a favourite. Highly recommend for amazing staff, atmosphere and food! ✨

Had a lovely meal, trying items from the new menu. Served by the wonderful Dermot who took the time to make each table feel special despite being run off his feet and working in a very warm restaurant.

Its been many years since I was a frequent customer here... Service not friendly or particularly nice but they did bring popadoms with the yoghurt sauce, chopped onion and a spicy sauce in place of traditional mango chutney. Food overall was disappointing for the price!! I had a mixed kebab starter which seemed old and tough, like it had been reheated, not fresh! The chicken bhuna was not bad and the keema naan was fine. My wife's chicken tikka special was quite bland and several of the chicken pieces were pink in the middle, not good!! To summarise; Quite pricey for the quality No awards for service! Won't rush back....

Superb curry house.. beats some of the big popular mainstream places in Sheffield City Centre. This is by far one of the best curry’s in Sheffield, go here if you want a guaranteed five star meal! Cash only though!!

Amazing food, great prices, wouldn’t consider anywhere else. My go to place for a butter chicken apna style and a garlic coriander naan.

Poor. The veg curry was made with frozen veg. It had no subtlety of flavour and spice at all. I think the only spice it had in it was chilli. I honestly wish that I had just opened the can of Morrison's curry instead, as it is better quality. My husband got something totally different from what he ordered. We thought we would try this place again after having found it very hit or miss in the past but I wont be wasting my money again.

Baklava to die for absolutely delicious well worth a visit and you can sit in and eat not expensive either

Absolutely stunning food catering for a true authentic palate as proven by the regular attendance by an Asian clientele. Bring your own alcohol. As far as I remember they do not charge a corkage. Really pleasant staff. Very reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.

Been ordering from, and eating here for past 20 years. Always been the best curry in Sheffield, until recently. Last few curries have been mediocre at best, but the last one was absolutely appalling, tasted nothing like the standard they used to turn out. Sadly will not be ordering again. Such a shame.

05 July 2025. Nice looking fish shop with friendly staff. Ordered three haddock and a chips, and settled for two and a cod so that I didn't have to wait. Seemed reasonable value, as I paid a bit over £20. Two Steps had been recommended by a friend from Sheffield whose opinion I would normally trust when it comes to food. Turns out the friend hasn't been there for 15 years! The cod was fully filleted. The haddock still had the skin on, although it was still nice looking fish. However, the batter was incredibly thick - way too thick. Consequently, because it had been well cooked, the fish inside was overdone and lacked flavour. The best part of the experience was eating the food in the nearby Botanic Gardens and the chat with the staff. I'm sorry to say that the quality of the food spoiled what was an otherwise great experience. Totally underwhelmed. I won't be visiting again.

Not been here for over five years, the lunchtime small portions £5.10 are still good value and tasty😋 The batter could have been more crispy!

Visited Sheffield for the weekend & wanted to try a local dish. Found out that "fishcakes" are done a little differently here and after reading a few online articles, decided to try my first fishcakes at Two Steps following the recommendations. And oh my god was it good! Crispy batter, fondant potatoes, tasty fish. My only regret is that I didn't buy two because the first one finished so quickly. I would highly recommend Two Steps & of course their fishcake- a Sheffield speciality!

£4.75 for the mini fish & chips (plus mushy peas) is great value and was both delicious and a good-sized portion. Very happy. Will definitely be coming back.

My aunt was not happy as she had cooked food awaiting our visit to Sheffield. Haddock chips and mushy peas with dandelion and burdock to wash it down. Really tasty haddock, batter was good , chips enough to feed 3 people and ,I asked for regular, and really tasty mushy peas not bland at all, really enjoyed the food and worth the 12.50£ I paid. Nice staff and owner and great to see history laden places still open and doing well.

Live locally and always like to support small businesses. Came in today and thought I'll go back today at lunchtime after a while. Brought the lunchtime special. I was looking forward to this however disappointed and shocked by the state of the mushy peas of a neon green colour and almost glowed in the dark from the colouring ( threw it in the bin as it did not look safe to eat) Chips were floppy and warm fish was warm, soggy, batter was too thick and barely any fish in it. Gravy had lumps in it I'm not sure how long the food was sitting there for the state it was in. Not worth the money and very disappointed with the food and won't be going back. Though the females at service was lovely.

Total rip off and cow meat (beef) not for everyone very heavy carbohydrates be aware if you are calorie-conscious ! please look at the pictures of chips that cost me £3.19 and price keeps going up for hand full of chips and supposed to be fresh cheese on rather than cheese sauce squeezed on total rip off. Also they have uneducated students from abroad takes ages to get through to them after numerous attempt’s.

I needed something quick to eat and it was late at night. This place seemed like the only restaurant left open and it was perfect. Hit the spot at a reasonable price. The food was tasty and plentiful. I ordered at a kiosk and got what I expected. Food came right to my table top as I was given a number. Late night crowd was coming in and out and enjoying a late night bite as well.

I tried this first time with my family and everything was perfect. Food was very delicious and the staff was very polite and good specially Mr Muhammad Waqar who served us everything quickly and in a very good way. He made us laugh and showed his professionalism in his work. We will be go back and enjoy the food very soon. Thank you

Tried this branch for the first time in April 2024. Nice clean branch, good service. Ordered a panini which was ok. Will have to try one of the larger meals next time. Panini was ok but not very filling.

Well worth a visit. Popular place on a Friday night with the millennium mob. I enjoyed the beers sampling 3 of the Triple Point beverages - each one ever so slightly different, almost to the point of being indistinguishable which is my only gripe. I would come back as I’m pretty sure there’s one that’s very different and the burgers were decent last time I came here.

My favourite place in Sheffield, Can't beat that hallas and brisket burger!! All staff are great and walk that extra mile to help customers apart from the lady with short green hair, very rude, ordered food and she brought it when asked about cutlery she said go and get it your self opposite the till while other staff member done the opposite.

The decor is really nice and the staff and warm and welcoming, decent place for food and the beer is definitely a winner. There’s not a huge selection of food but the sharing plates and burgers are quite decent. The portions are a little smaller than other places. The chips are pretty 👍 . Would be nice if they had at least one option for a dessert.

Only recently I’ve discovered the lunch menu! Absolutely amazing ! Had the brisket sandwich (think that’s what it was called on the menu) very filling , will definitely be back to try something else!

Triple Point Brewery is one of my absolute favourites! I’m here almost twice a week sometimes with the family and it never disappoints. The beers are always spot on, and the Snake Burgers… wow, seriously tasty! Great vibes, friendly people, and just an all-around awesome place to hang out. Big thank you for everyone who works there for making the place even more incredible!

Great selection of beers - whether you like lager, IPA or something else - there is always a good beer to try. Music is decent, ample seating available, both inside and out. I went too late to try the food from the Twisted burger, so the review is for the bar only.

Come to this place every time I’m in the city - their oyster mushroom tenders are the best vegan fast food I’ve ever had. The staff are always incredible, so knowledgeable - and Ellis in particular was really helpful and friendly. And big shout to Seven Mushrooms for the incredible produce!

We had a small registry office wedding for 14 people and ordered pizzas from Porter pizza to have at home afterwards. We absolutely love Porter pizza anyway so were very happy to be able to have them be part of our special day. They went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect - thank you!

Definitely recommend the food the atmosphere all of it was so good. We got the hot honey pizza without the goats cheese and it was amazing very messy but so tasty.

The best pizza in Sheffield by far! Me and my friends always ponder over the other restaurants when thinking of where to eat out together but always come back here as it's consistently delicious and so welcoming. The addition of gelato now is just the icing on the cake.

Chabby chic, large comfy soffas, plants, and very genuinely for "a place where all peoples from different cultures, beliefs, great food, coffee. Imagine a man in a suit and tie sat on adjacent table a homeless chap, talking and enjoying food that costs what they can afford. I met Oscar a volunteer, top man. Go or miss out

Love the chilled community spirit of this place. It's really relaxed, welcoming and it's pay what you can to enable everyone access. Went to a Seder this evening as part of their themed 'Plates' evenings - fantastic evening!

Community-run public kitchen and foodhall that puts on pay-as-you-feel meals, using food that would otherwise go to waste, as well as gigs and other events. Well worth popping in on a Thursday or Friday lunchtime to eat a communal meal and get to meet and talk to members of the local community and students. You can also book the space to cook and host your own banquetting event.

I have loved amigos from the very beginning of time. Ever since they updated their menu to the Indian street food and removed a lot of classic old amigos recipes it has never been the same for me. The authentic peri peri chicken, chicken wings, lamb barbaco used to be a go too and I could come atleast 2/3 times a week and never get bored. I miss the old menu and how good this place used to be. I wish them the best of luck as they are the most kindest people. But I will not return 😔

Had a meal here with my family recently, it must have been a couple years since my last visit. I'm pleased to say that the food and service were excellent. We had the beef chilli nachos as a sharing starter, followed by a shredded beef enchilada, grilled lamb chops, chicken burrito bowl and a chicken quesadilla. All the dishes were well made and served in a reasonable time scale by friendly staff. The premises are quite spacious and we managed to get a suitable table for 5 people which included 2 children. My only slight criticism would be the music being played was a little bit too loud, otherwise a nice experience.

great food, so much variety as theres indian food options as well as a great twist on mexican, wouldn’t go here if you’re looking for something authentic however but it is delicious! the tostadas that i got are no longer on the physical menu but they do still make it if you ask and they are delicious! also great service

Delicious Food. I absolutely love the quantity and quality of the good. Service is good. Atmosphere and the restaurant is bit untidy. Apart from that price wise, taste wise I absolutely have no complaints. Must visit to tickle your taste buds and enjoy the Mexican hotness 🔥

Overall experience with Amigos on this occasion wasn't up to the standard at all. This was also echoed by my partner who also ate with me. Firstly in a Mexican themed place if you order tacos, you expect the tacos to be made for you based on the items you ordered, but it was baffling to see that we were given the ingredients to make our own tacos for £14.95 that just doesn't make sense?! I mean how am I supposed to know what works well as a combination and felt like a time waste constructing the tacos..the positive from those Taco items was the Shrimp which had really good flavour and texture. In addition other food items ordered were the Amigos Mixed items which was also £14.95, it was just average at best. Taste was missing, wings weren't succulent felt overcooked and Nachos was alright. Customer service was great and hospitality was a positive.

Beautiful atmosphere. Amazing Halal Mexican food! Came here for lunch with hubs and it was a quick service. Price was affordable. I tried the starter which was Mecican BBQ lamb ribs and it tasted so delicious😋 Hubby ordered the lunch special which was burrito set and it was tasty! Highly recommended 👍🏻

A very welcoming place to eat. The food is fresh and there’s plenty to choose from.your order is served in a timely fashion and the portions are most generous. The staff in general are most hospitable and ensure all meets expectations and the owner is most considerate to parents eating with their children. This was my first time eating here, lovely atmosphere with plenty of seating. The restaurant is clean and appealing with a Mexican theme to the decor.

Been going to this chip shop for years and it's been fantastic. Went today there was a long queue out side which is a good indicator of how good this chip shop is doing. But after getting 2 large fish and chips I was very disappointed! Over cooked fish which was dry and batter very dark in colour. If I was in a restaurant I would have sent it back. On the plus side chips were nice. They need to sort it out or I won't be coming back.

What's happened?? We've been buying from the Poseidon for years (and it was worth travelling to). I would regularly tell people that it was the best in Sheffield, but I'm having to eat my words now and although it still smells tempting, I don't think we'll be going back. Every time we've been recently, we've been disappointed. Prices have gone up, portions of chips have shrunk and they often look anemic (and don't taste great). The last lot of chips I had were a strange grey colour inside. They weren't nice! I don't know what's changed but this isn't the same chippy I used to rave about ☹️

Having gone past this fish and chip shop lots of time thinking it must be good well always a queue decided to get some fish and chips today and it didn't disappoint delicious good portions will be back 😋 situated on busy main road on road parking but can be busy called in this evening again very pleasant staff couldn't be more helpful because of car problems we ate in the car kind off a unavoidable pic nic absolutely delicious as before the cod is really something else excellent every time I get fish and chips it's always the same delicious high standard 😋

Fish and chips used to be great here at Poseidon, in quality, taste and value. In the last few months or so, since the lead gentleman left, the food has gone downhill. Fish tonight was pappy, tasteless, dry, not fresh...I had to spit most out. Terrible. ....Chips. Portion size halved, dry ,small, sharp edges..not fresh, fluffy and tasty. Sorry. But cannot waste my money here any longer. It is a great shame.

Supposed to be the best in sheffield, not disagreeing, but the flavour of the chips pretty bland. i found the counter lady not so warm and inviting, quite curt.
