Food taste was below average — quite disappointed. We ordered pork fried rice, chicken fried rice, chicken momo, and one of their so-called “signature” pork dishes, which turned out to be nothing more than a chilli pork with thick gravy. Felt a bit like a trick to mislead customers. On the positive side, the interiors are nice and service was quick, even though the place was about 60% full. The roadside tables offer a pleasant GS Road view. However, since the restaurant is on the first floor, be cautious if you’re with kids or elderly people. Prices are reasonable for the quantity and in line with similar restaurants, but given the taste, it doesn’t feel worth it. Parking is a major issue — best to come by taxi or two-wheeler instead of a car. Not Recommended!

This place is a hidden gem as said by all. I went a few days ago to have lunch. Being solo, I found that they provide the option to order half a plate of most of the food items. I ordered rice with chicken and vegetable which is a gravy item that comes along with boiled rice. I found this item very tasty and the ingredients which are used really well cooked and fresh. Chicken is properly boiled and very tasty. The internal decor is simple but stylish. This is actually a bikers hub. The best seating arrangement I found is beside the glass window facing towards GS Road. This restaurant is just opposite of Mizoram House at Christian Basti area. I must suggest this place to everyone for moderate pricing and good quality of food.

I recently visited one of Guwahati's popular Chinese restaurants and was impressed by the ambience, it had a warm, inviting vibe. Have been a customer of John's kitchen for about 10 years now. Every time I visit this place, my only dish is American Chopsuey. Always have been so amused how this simple plate of crispy noodles and gravy touch each and every taste buds of my mouth. So delicious. Probably the best American Chopsuey in the World 😍😍😍

I had been to this place twice or thrice. Its a small place but the food is awesome. The shawarma pita and doner kebab is mouth watering. The best thing about this place is they make their own mayo and they put it generously in the food items. Definitely a must visit.

I would have never rated reboti chat house so low. I have tasted their chowmein since 2000, veg chow was 20rs and chicken chow was 35. Quality and quantity was perfect. Now prices increased but quality eventually decreased. They are just running because of the hype+location. Because today I tasted the worst veg chow at 60 rs/ half plate which would have tasted much better at a roadside stall. Even managed to talk with one but he assured that their oldest chef was working tonight. Might be very wrong with my tongue or their food

Reboti Chat House used to serve amazingly delicious food, but my recent visit was disappointing. I had asked for Chicken Reboti Special Chow, but was served regular Chicken Chow — which I realized only after a few bites. The taste was bland, and the freshness that made this place special was missing. Hope they bring back their old standards.chicken Special Roll was similarly tasteless.

Once a Legendary restaurant for South Indian dishes in Guwahati, where customers in the yesteryears had to be in que for getting a chance to grab a bite there & longing for more, but with the passing years & increasing new competition, the food quality & glitz & most important the crowd have receded.Though it still runs now as a reasonably priced indian & south Indian food outlet, but is today far cry from its glory days ! Advice: Maybe they need to start Home Delivery service which would give them a competitive edge for the new age customers !

It's an old Restaurant which was once talk of the town. Presently it's under Ulubari Flyover. So despite you can manage parking of your two wheeler or car people always pass by without noticing it. You can have north Indian food but they are excellent in south Indian dishes. I will recommend the executive Thai as midday meal /lunch. It's excellent.

This is one of the best places in the city to have a Veg meal & the best Dosa in Town try everywhere else but this taste better then e everyone else !! Now it's even available in SWIGGY for home delivery BUT few days back I ordered at home & the sambar was so cold & tasted so bad even the colour looked funny !! + The dosa size is half of what you will get if u go there & have it !! Quality Taste & Quantity is really bad when u order online so in cause u want to have dosa or anything else just go there & have it or else later u will regret !!!

I have been to this restaurant many times, from 2009 onwards. They make awesome South Indian cuisine. Only issue is the entrance needs to be modified a bit. Food is good.

Used to visit woodlands often when i was a kid in the 90's. There weren't many good options to eat out back then in Guwahati, specially vegetarian. However, woodland always stood out. Gladly, it has maintained it's reputation. Good vegetarian food, specially the dosas and thalis. Great service as well. They should make arrangements for card payments soon.

Face expression of staff not good. Don't know why waiter was walking around table while eating. Hotel's water is not good, you have to purchase drinking water seperately. Almost all items prepared already. If you ask for without onion garlic vegetable or any other special food they can't cook. They play old bollywood hindi songs in their restaurant but we are not here to listen good songs. We want good food and they aren't capable to provide the same.

It was really a great experience to try some Sushi and Japanese cuisine. Guys do visit the place. To the owner a request please try to keep every item that you have mentioned in the menu, missed pork today. Overall a wonderful photogenic place and great ambience. The staffs are very wonderful

Nanz Cafe is a really pretty place to hangout. They have a nice selection of food of which we had the Chicken Momo and Chicken Spring Roll. Both the items were good in taste although they were served a little late and the service could have been better. The momo's were quite big and stuffed well. The spring roll was very crispy and delicious as well. We also had milk tea with two muffins. The cup was not clean though with spilled tea on the sides.

The decor is great - But it lacks basic facilities like a washbasin or tissue papers or ketchup bottles . Also the order took over 30 mins which was not great .. Also they served noodled without any serving plates or chutney's ... Had to request for ketchup which was then given in meagre amount ...

This is a hidden gem serving Japanese and other international foods in their genuine versions for a reasonable price. I organized my son's birthday there. I wanted to have a unique menu in a buffet while maintaining the older relatives' demand for rice and less spicy food. This is difficult as majority well known restaurants in Guwahati offer a standard Indian menu for a party or charge very high prices for a western buffet. Here the whole team including the Japanese Chef Prem and Italian Chef Tapan, Manager Mr. Sharma, Cashier Shanti and the owner Mrs Nandita Hannamen all dedicated to make the event a success. The food was awesome and the price was reasonable, having Potato cutlet, Momos, Pasta, Pizza, Sushi, Potato cutlet and Shoguyaki Pork and a fruit custard for dessert. They also baked their own cheesecake which too was delicious. To be honest service was a bit slow during the buffet. But since arranging a buffet is not common in such a cafe many staff were trying their best. I am sure next time they will improve on that. They also gave us their sound system and TV to use. Overall it was a very memorable experience in Nanz cafe, I wonder why I did not know this cafe before! Hoping to see them again when we go to Guwahati!

They charge too much i. e 30-40% more than what it should be. This place is in no competition to ftbelly and other cafes in gauhati,yet they charge high. They charge 150 for momos tgat too without soup(which I feel is over pricy). The chilly chiken dry is 250 which is again very pricy,even the taste i so so. And for a 7up bottle whose MRP is 10/12 they charge 50.

The place is located near the railway station and is good spot for a quick bite, it is resturant where you can have various fast food but the bestsellers here are chole Puri and pulao. Chole Puri is decent and pulao is also good you get unlimited chole refilling here along with that you get a chutni and salad. The atmosphere too is decent because it's just located beside the busiest road in Guwahati. It's often crowded place but you can try once.

My experience in Nandita restaurant is very good. Chole bature is the signature item. Amazing. Malik jonor behaviour2 val hoi.

Situated in the main Uzan Bazaar area. Good location. Just opposite to the Four seasons resturant. The restaurant is easily visible from the roadside. Food quality is also good, but I found a bit costlier in comparison to others. Moreover the place is very compact for large groups more than 5-6 people. But perfect for 2-3 people to chill. The ambience is also good along with the lighting. Picture perfect place. Good for hang out and dating but not for birthday parties.

Had a veg thali with a bowl of Champaran style Mutton. Each of the veg items in the thali had their own signature taste. The Sukto left me guessing, as to what was used as an ingredient to achieve that taste. Finished the thali, then moved on to the Champaran Mutton with another two rotis... The mutton was perfectly done and it's taste was beautifully balanced. Did not find it extra rich, then what it really should be. The staff and the cook were very friendly and helped us arrive at our decision over the food, to be consumed. Shall, definitely visit again, to try out its order unique roadside dishes from across the country... Two veg thali and One bowl of Champaran Mutton was of 700 bucks..

The little place with some real simple classy interior very tidy easy to reach place where you can find some real quick snacks and very good lunch options all meals are served with rice or pav(buns) along it. I tried changezi chicken which was an indian mughal chicken stew cooked with some indian spices with base of thick cashew and cream gravy, they served us a well portion which was enough for a one person to make him full for the next meal of the day. They didn't had coffee on their menu but the guy who was serving was extremly great as he arranged us some coffee from his nearby shops. Overall the experience of dining was good but can be excellent in the coming days.

Perfect for Asian food lover!! Prawn chilli and devil's Ramen are my favourite. But their drinks are pricey, one cup of normal milk tea cost ₹60, one glass of soft drink cost ₹70, which is too much comparing to other restaurent.

Yanchin: restro is a small place and it's a bit difficult to locate if you have not been there before . But then it's a best asian restro in guwahati to have Ramen and Thukpa . Chinese lover will definitely love it :) i highly recommend this place guys.

My best ramen eating experience so far! The flavours, the spices, the sauces! Just the best and the most interesting part is the prices, very very customer friendly and reminder to everyone eating for the first time it's legit spicy so do bring some chocolates with yourself :)

First of all, the restaurant needs to rectify the location in google maps, their location is totally incorrect. I know people who could not find the restaurant. Regarding the food, we had ordered as such during our two visits: 1. Sichuan Wontons in Chilli Oil 2. Chicken Momo ( Steamed) 3. Devil’s Ramen 4. Kimchi Fried Rice ( Chicken) Wontons and Momos were really good, the fillings are really at par with the quality and quantity. I had ordered Ramen after seeing such good reviews from all of the customers and being their signature dish. But it disappointed me the most, the broth was too thick full of masala, it was so sweet that my tongue hurt. It was spicy but the sweetness was too much, there was no soft boiled egg, the chicken fillet was too tough to chew. Ramen was a disaster and i am never ordering that again. May be nobody has had a good bowl of ramen and hence such good reviews on ramen. Regarding the kimchi fried rice, there was no taste or smell of kimchi. We had to search for pieces of kimchi. Again the chunks of chicken were too tough. Being a foodie and a cook, this is our honest review. The owner can rectify it or they can continue with this, i would request the owner to try the food once a while so that it does not disappoint the customers. ***I had provided my honest review about the food to the receptionist too. ** I would visit for the wontons for sure.

I love this two dishes which is shown in highlighted portion of their menu. Devil ramen is very spicy while dimsum was mild and stuffing really yumm. Bit a price I find high but worth a try for Asian food lovers.

This is the worst hotel i have ever visited in my entire life. I have ordered 2 thalis for which i had to wait for hours. Food came after hours of waiting. And too our surprise most food items were raw, half cooked, rotten and Spoiled and smelling disgusting. we left the food. REVIEW & UPDATE Grossly overrated at 3.7 stars. Avoid, unless you are dying of hunger, not having eaten for days. Bad taste, bad packaging, rude phone etiquette, over priced, over hyped and I doubt the hygiene. I say doubt only because I have not physically seen the place. Placed a delivery order for chicken momos and chicken fried rice. @ Rs. 24/per momo, there is barely any chicken, lots of onion and why is it dirty brown in color? I don't recall seeing whole wheat momos on the menu. As for the chicken fried rice, it's fried for sure, more like over fired to dryness or maybe stale and then refried. Instead of normal chicken there were shreds of tandoori chicken!!! Sacrilege!!! I called them and asked how they prepare chicken fried rice. Whoever picked the phone was patient and explained. When I told them what I received, he said regular chicken was over so they made it with the tandoori chicken! I asked for a refund which they promised. Yet to receive. UPDATE: I showed up at their location early morning when they had just opened, 3 days after the incident and explained what had happened and that no one bothered reversing the money. They listened and asked what was ordered and when. I gave them the time, date and food order. They paid the money without further questions or comments. Please ensure you visit the place before placing an order. In short, you may not have much appetite left...

Taste of the food is very bad and quantity is very less

One of the worst experiences. The service was good but the quality of food was the worst. The worst burgers I ever had. I left half of it due to the worst quality served. Came in good hopes due to reviews but now I got to know all of them are of either gaming or the karaoke. People come to the restaurant mainly for the quality of the food. Won't visit again. I didn't want to write a fat review but due to an upset stomach because of the disastrous burger I had to.

Prompt service.Ambience was okay.Coming to the food it was delicious.I had chicken tikka biryani and chicken lababdar biryani and was happy for both quantity and quality.I even tried out Afghani chicken kebab but was not happy with the quantity.The pieces of chicken were too small for the price! The place is spacious and the seating place is comfortable.. Went there for a birthday party with friends.. Couldn't click all food items but managed to click the chicken tandoori which was tremendous excellent.. 🍗😋

I am a food lover, last week I visited this newly opened restaurant “SnapDine”. They have several food options to choose from. The quality and taste of the food was awesome, the price was decent. The overall ambiance was good. Loved everything about the restaurant. Would go and visit them again, definitely one of the best restaurant near Guwahati commerce college.

As the name describes {SNAP DINE} get a snap of your group with their own camera along with dinning 😄 The ambience is fine and the food quantity- quality is moderate. We were group of 8 people, and had combos . But the only thing that might annoy you the most -THE SLOW SERVICE, hope they might take necessary actions regarding this. But other than that , it's a good one.

A nice place to grab a quick bite, food is affordable and tasty. Its based on thali system starting from Rs 80. Also breakfast is available in morning time starting from 50. Got enough seating place and staff behaviour is also nice.

Since I was very hungry,was searching for a place near chabipool where I could feed my hunger, and ended up being at the place. The samosa was quite good and Chai was simply awesome. Overall it is a budget friendly place.

Awesome place. They try out new dishes which turn out to be really really good. Try the Crunchy fried pork(not on the menu). The Biryani is one of the best i'v had in a while. Chilled ambience. Prices are well set. Overall great atmosphere!
