We were here for seafood breakfast. There are variety of freshly prepared seafood including sea urchin and King Crab. We had various kinds of fish, scallop and shrimp. We bought a 100g of sea urchin. We also had one King Crab which cost about 10,000 Yen. The average price is less expensive than other big cities.

It was closed on Sunday but we made it this morning on our last day here. Glad we did. It's a market like the ones in Hakodate and Sapporo but I believe it's slightly cheaper. We had half a king crab for ¥6000 and a musk melon for ¥2700. Such a delicious breakfast. Well worth the money spent.

You can end up with a high price tag if you get carried away picking all the nice stuff! Buy the rice at a separate store then choose your sashimi topping. Or skip the rice

So highly recommended! We have the most amazing meal here where you can DIY your own sushi bowl or sashimi platter. Sashimi were the freshest we had on our 10 days trip, and cheapest too — everything shown in the video for less than 7000yen! Also splurged on king crab for 10000yen, pretty good deal we think! We love the entire DIY experience where we bought rice and miso soup from one stall, seaweed from another, sashimi from another, king crab from another, sea urchin from another. Pair seaweed with rice and sea urchin and it was umami perfect! 4 hungry bellies came and left feeling belly happy and full ☺️

I like hamburg steak more than tonkatsu. The spaghetti is al dente, a bit firm and crispy because it’s on a hot plate. The meat and shrimp were very soft and tasty. Overall, it was really good! Come and try it!

The chef somehow marries everything together into a delicious, hearty mess. There was a queue but it moves along because service is quick. Definitely worth the visit especially for dinner. It isn't authentic Italian but it is brilliantly authentic Kushiro !!

This restaurant is dated but the 'Supa Katsu' dish first originated here so its worth a visit! Supa Katsu is a spaghetti dish on a piping hot iron plate, with tonkatsu (deep-fried pork cutlet) and a savory meat sauce. It was ok but nothing special, though other people love it. Try it out!

It was full house when the 4 of us arrived without reservation, so we booked for a slot, took a walk to Nusamai Bridge then went back to Robata an hour later at 6.45pm. We were glad we had waited, the service, food, atmosphere and even the cute little washroom is a must-go! Obasan was very focused and extremely committed on grilling all the food to perfection. All the service staff were friendly, busy but attentive. We enjoyed ourselves very much, ate and drank to our fill. Must order draft beer.

Heard that the restaurant has been reopened lately after the fire and thus made the reservation when we visited Hokkaido this Autumn. Really enjoy the vibe of the restaurant and was impressed by grandma, who handled all the orders by herself in her own pace. Despite no price was shown in their menu, we found that the pricing was reasonable to us. Overall, it is a place that bring us good memories and we wish grandma healthy and cook for many more customers in the future.

Wow! I can not recommend this place highly enough. You will be delighted by Robata’s oba-chan, sitting before you, grilling your food on the open fire like the true expert that she is. The miso-ginger squid is hands down one of the best things you will ever put in your mouth. Everything we ate was perfect, and we were mesmerized by our chef. The sake and ambience added to this unique and fabulous experience. Also, get the asparagus. Trust me.

For 1200 yen, it had five slices of venison lightly seared topped on a portion of rice and the slices were neither too thin to feel unsubstantial nor too thick to be difficult to chew. Their pickles were out of this world too! For dinner, we had butter grilled scallops, chicken yakitori, grilled stuffed chicken wings and gyoza (fried dumplings). They don't rush the service either. High recommended!!! The location is in the main area of Lake Akan Onsen. Wonderful place to start if you want to walk off your lunch!

Really delicious food . The service might not be super fast, but it was friendly and all the food is made to order so it is worth it. We had ramen, gyoza, the lavender trout (I think) and of course Sapporo Classic. Everything was delicious! The prices are also reasonable. The place is located in a residential area , away from all the souvenir shops and tourists (just a short walk) which was a big plus .

We love this place. The atmosphere made us feel very local and warm. The owners were not just polite but also warm and friendly. We had the deer meat don, hotpot udon, tonkotsu ramen and chicken and port skewers. All were very tasty. One must note that the serving portion was quite generous which really made it worthwhile. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from in Kushiro but I have no regrets with this choice. It feels very much like a local bar( yes they do allow smoking!) If I went again I would at first ignore the big menu and go for the daily specials and current Sake offers . Eggplant with bonito flakes, venison Ghengis Khan style , Chicken Yakatori , black noodles and sushi of the day were all excellent. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and great value at about ¥1,600. There’s a breakfast menu until 10am featuring mackerel and other dishes, and the full menu runs until closing time. The staff are friendly and smiling and service was speedy.

The food is so fresh, delicious, and cheap for the quality you’re getting. My chirashi that came with miso soup was less than ¥1,000. Can’t be beat! Yes, the building and area are off the beaten path, but if you’ve got a car I think it’s worth it
