Ate the beef tongue, very chewy in a good way, and wagyu set, which melts in the mouth 🤤 also had tartar, that was also amazing, I liked the things on the side like apple, egg. Ordered the flight which is not too much for one person thankfully. Paired great with meat 🥩 I was able to get free donut and ice cream for following their IG, honestly was the best way to finish an amazing dinner 🤩 Was a bit expensive, but so worth it

The price is reasonable and there are many varieties of choices for yakiniku, seafood is also interesting, they have their own brewery beer, of course I try their famous light blue Drift Ice beer, I highly recommend it, and cold Stone ice cream for ending is just a perfect night🤟

I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must say that the food was exceptional. The staff who served the food were friendly and incredibly helpful throughout the meal. However, I had a less pleasant experience with the cashier at the front desk. She appeared a bit cold and had difficulty communicating effectively with customers. The meat and the Ryuhyo Beer were so good!! There was a waitress with super unique vibes. Her service might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but we loved her. Also this place gets super packed so I totally recommend booking in advance.

Loved it! I got the beer tasting menu, it's four small beers including the Abashiri blue beer for 800 yen. Also at the hostel I was staying they gave me a kind of coupon for a complimentary free yakuniku at this place, just a bit of meat but went great with the beer!

Taste is so good. But a staff isn't friendly. Her voice was really small voice always and could not explain the menu. It was good for me to eat Whale sashimi and Teriyaki of Karasuhamo(Kaup's Arrowtooth Eel). Their taste were nice!! The Atmosphere of the restaurant is good too. You can look irori(kitchen) and sheffs is how to cook.

Plenty of choices on fresh seafood were offered on the chef recommended( おすすめ) menu. You wouldn’t go wrong by following the advice. Though we, ina group of 5 adults, couldn’t understand all of them, the friendly staff was managed to explain the dishes to us patiently. It is not a bad thing at all to become adventurous once in a while. The serving size of the sake is amazingly generous. We had a wonderful time over there.

Another in my wish list in prison museum is eating in this restaurant! They offer prison meal set A and B. Food is simple and nice, clean and nice environment. Order food in the vending machine and kitchen will let you know when your food is ready.

Granted only a short time window to access their lunch menu as in 11am-2:30pm, it is best to not miss out this rather authentic experience! We had both their jail meal set A & B. It was absurdly pleasant! The grilled fish was done right, miso soup and side dishes were all tasty! They also have a wider and more casual menu too all at affordable prices. This might be the only jail museum if not one of the few in the world to serve prison-themed meals to visitors. A good stop for lunch prior to exploring the whole area at your own pace!

English menu is available, but only simple names about, like all the beer menus are displayed as "beer". Seats are seperated by walls so each group can has privacy, but not very clean.

The restaurant is very simple with a dated decor. We loved the "local restaurant" atmosphere. The menu is just one page, but don't be fooled you'll find about 50+ types of different dishes. Portions are extremely generous, taste was great, middle-low range prices. It felt like eating at the grandma's house. Definitely recommended!

Old school menu and shop, looks like it hasn't changed since the 80s. Place looks old and smoky, they allow smoking inside the restaurant  (to my dismay). Kitchen is open concept ( which probably explains why is so smoky, be prepared to walk away smelling like the kitchen. Had the chicken chop & beef steak combo. Beef steak was overly salty, chicken chop was tasteless, the only saving grace was the potato salad and the serving portions are huge.

Came here for the recommendation of the previous reviewer. The portion was indeed generous, wide selection of food and very affordable. Come and try if you are at abashiri !

Came here for lunch with coworkers for the first time and had such a great experience! For 800 yen I had a small (but appropriately lunch sized) chirashi, three bite size pieces of fried chicken, miso soup, and salad. Everything was very fresh and tasty! Seems popular with the locals serving piping hot ramen. The signature Doro Ramen has a really thick broth, but it's not overpowering. Comes with bamboo shoots, charsiu, and seaweed. The Kuro Shio ramen on the other hand has a light soup, but it's topped with black garlic oil. Both ramen cost JPY900. The zangi with negi (JPY350 for 2 pieces) is crunchy with a nice tangy twist.

It’s a a Sunday in Winter and we lucked out chancing upon this traditional ramen outlet. We ordered Spicy, Shrimp and Pork ramen. Really tasty and good portion 👍

Small ramen shop. Tried the miso & shoyu favour. The ramen portion is good, fried chicken cutlet is a must order.

Everything is really heavy. We couldn't finish our ramen and had too much soup so we had to go home and have a nap. The fried chicken is pretty good as is the fresh egg on rice.

The cakes are amazing. I actually visited this place twice. I tried the Mont Blanc (chestnut) and the milliecrepe. You can also ordered coffee and tea as there are seating area within the shop as well as outside. I reckon there are about 20 parking space lot.

I ordered king crab leg and the photo shows it was 鱈場蟹, however, it arrived as 松葉蟹（snow crab). I only realised after I finished all, so I didn’t tell the staff there. It seems that we are visitors so that the staff might think we don’t know the difference and provided us an another species of crab, which was not in the menu. Also, the crab taste not really good, it was thawing crab leg and very cold.

Being a big coffee lover in Japan is a big challenge. I am always on the hunt for good coffee and that has become a daily routine on all my holidays. In Japan it involves lots of trials. Chanced upon this place in Google and drove here to try. Totally legit place, can totally tell the standards from their setup and equipment. They roast their own beans and the cappuccino is well extracted no sour bitterttaste. The cheese cake is excellent too creamy and not too sweet. It is facing a windy and beautiful greenery amongst lavenders. Totally relaxed highly recommended. Easily the best I had in Japan. The cheese cake they served here is excellent too. Light fluffy and rich and creamy.. Totally goes well with the great cuppa. Do note they stop serving coffee and tea at 5pm but close at 7pm.

Amazing izakaya in Abashiri! Certainly one of the best places we ate at during our trip of Hokkaido, with an incredible vibe to match. Have always wanted to try Japan KFC as I have heard its delicious. The chicken are a bit too salty for me but it should go very well with beer! The potato wedges are fantastic though!

This is a KFC and Pizza Hut in one place. The store is clean and the staff is friendly. It's a bit pricey for what you get but good for a treat every once in awhile! 2 medium pizzas to go was around 4000 yen, we got cheese and pepperoni.
