Had the fresh ribs & sirloin cut, fantastic! It’s pricey but worth a visit. The side dishes were surprisingly good too. There are 3 buildings serving the same menu, pop by into any available space.

Always top notch and quality of service. Good isn’t meant to be served only for taste here. Staff brings professionalism to accommodate whatever reason the visitation may be (anniversary, family gathering, etc) This restaurant changes how I view the approach of restaurant theme here in Korea for BBQ joints. I feel like the approach is much more towards ‘Here are too selection and quality of side dishes and Korean food table, but let me make it better with top quality meats’. So if by any chance you are looking for hardcore cooking BBQ time, I would steer to few other places.

The feast fit for kings ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, the banchan isn't the same as it was in the past. Also plan to pay a lot more for a lot less. Quality is still good 👍 a place I'd suggest splurging if you want to impress beyond just food. Service with attention to detail is how I'd summarize it 🙏

Kabojung is a proven quality. Of the three most famous Galbi restraunts in Suwon, Kabojung is the largest and arguably the greatest. Silla might be fancier, Bonsuwon might be more modern, but Kabojung is definitely the torch-bearer of Suwon galbi. I would highly recommend this place.

Well, U know, Suwon is known for the best Galbi in South korea. If u wanna feel that by ur own, yeah I would recommend u. But the price is not a joke. For tour yes But as a citizen of Suwon... Hmm Hardly.

Suwon is famous for Suwon Galbi (Korean beef barbecue) and this Bonsuwon Galbi is the most famous one. Galbi is beef ribs which are served raw, then cooked on tabletop charcoal grill, grilling service by the staff. There are non-marinated and marinated one in a sweet and savory sauce containing soy sauce and garlic. 1. Since a serving is large, I recommend ordering 3 servings for 4 people. 2. There is no reservation, so I recommend avoiding peak lunch or dinner time. 3. Galbitang (Short rib soup) is popular but it is not available for take-out, you have to bring your own container. 4. It will be a good chance to enjoy both historical sightseeing (Suwon fortress and place) and tasteful dining.

I went to this restaurant with my Korean family in-laws. I have never been compelled to write a review before but this is the most delicious food I have ever had. Each side dish and main were just wonderful. In particular, the galbi was so rich and delicious. The meat had a wonderful singe that added to the flavor. The Korean sweet potato side tasted like cake. The cold noodle soup was exemplary. My only regret is that it will be a long time before I will be able to return. I highly, highly recommend any American or European traveler to visit. You won’t regret it.

Very high quality meats, friendly staff, and clean restaurant. This restaurant is well organized and the staff is proficient. Not sure about how well foreigners would be addressed, but the friendliness of the staff should translate well to any guests. Any of the menu items will be above average. My personal favorite, the marinated short rib, has been spot on every time I have visited. The after meal stew, utilizing the bone (ribs) from the meat order is a very nice touch. The server will take the bones from the serving dish to add to the stew for the table. Delicious!

I was pleasantly surprised how fresh and tasty the meat was. It was juicy and flavorful. The restaurant gets a bit crazy busy and the parking seems to be chaotic but I'd come here again for the beef ribs. It really was very delicious. I enjoy both the regular and the marinated.

Prices are a bit high, but it is true that they offer a lot of side dishes. Keep in mind that you have always to order at least one item per person. Overall it is ok, I would maybe try another one.

Walked in around 1:30pm, the place was empty. I sat down and after reviewing the menu, went with the following items: - Korean beef Sirloin (66,000 won) - two orders of Grilled spareribs (pork - tried to order one, but was told I had to order so it'll cover the grill) - cold noodles. The staff will grill for you. The beef was good, but for $50, not sure it's worth it :) but gotta try it at least once. The pork kalbi was decent, not too sweet, but it went well with the cold noodles. Overall, can't give more then 3 stars, it was decent and I probably could got the same/similar items in Seoul area at the same/similar prices.

This price of the food was quite steep, but they serve lots of banchan (side dishes). Ordered 2 portions of ribs set and 1 bowl of ribs soup that costed us >KRW60000. The soup was tasty. The ahjummas over here don't speak Chinese/English well, they will be friendlier if u speak abit of Korean. Menu is in Korean and english.

This restaurant is the northeast part of Suwon Hwaseung, next to Hwahong Moon Gate. The main dish of the reataurant is Bulgogi, one of the Korean traditional food. I recommend the other dish, Galbitang Soup, Which is so delicious and the price is reasonable. Especially it is cold, there is nothing compared with this soup.

A dumpling restaurant located near Janganmun Gate and Haengridan-gil, Suwon. Now it is a franchise and you can eat in many places. However, the original store makes it in-house, so the taste is slightly different from other places. The dumpling skin is thinner and the taste of kimchi dumplings is stronger. If you go to Suwon, I strongly recommend you to try it.

We had steamed Pork and fried Kimchi Dumplings and Gimbap - all of them were delicious. We needed some help filling out the order from (Korean only) but the staff was great and helped us with a smile.

The best and special fried dumpling in Suwon. The moist inside and the fried skin was crispy, the chewy texture of dumpling, the rich juices of meat as well I think that it is Chinese style. It was the best dumpling I ate. Also other dishes were very delicious as well.

I was in a week long business visit; Everyday I had dinner at Himalaya Garden. They have authentic best Indian curry and other good food with warm and home atmosphere. Staffs are very friendly to explain me about my questions regarding shopping and hangout place near restaurant and my hotel. I also got chance to learn about Korea and Korean culture stuff from Korean staff too. I felt home away from home. They have really nice food in Suwon.

An Indian style restaurant which is by Nepal indain people. The dishes are north indian. The taste is good. They have both veg and non veg dishes. Place also very neat and clean. I went there because I heard it was a famous restaurant. I ate fried dumplings, but it didn't taste good to my mouth. The dumpling skin is too thick. In the end, I couldn't eat it all. It was 1:10 PM on a weekday and there were no customers.

Very decent Chinese restaurant you can enjoy in Suwon next to the chicken street. Dumpling especially fried dumpling is famous and good. Also special ground nut based noodle soup (단단탕면) is also famous. I had both beef noodle soup (우육면) and ground nut based noodle soup but I preferred the simple beef noodle soup better. They also have second floor for more seats available. The place was bit crowded during the lunch hours.

Pretty decent chinese style restaurant which is not very common in Korea (since the others mostly do Korean-Chinese style food). Liked the stir fried nooldes. The flavour isn’t very strong or distinctive but you keeps going back for it once started digging in. The pan fried dumplings are quite normal to me since I’ve tried better ones in other cities.

Fun place to spend an evening if you like drinking and bar games. The wings are pretty good as well. Service is lackluster if you come some weeknights as one of the bar staff tends to constantly step outside to smoke or something if somebody isnt ordering something at the moment. Had to track him down at least 4 times. Also, while not as bad as the Itaewon location, they do a great job upholding their reputation as the worst beer pong cups at any bar that offers beer pong in korea. They pretty much all have splits and occasionally you will pour abeer only to find out the beer leaked out because the bottom had a hole. Still, all negative comments aside the atmosphere is great and it's just a fun bar.

Western style pub with a good selection of beers, including Kilkenny on tap. You can play board games, beer pong, darts, pool, and other drinking games. The staff are well friendly, especially the manager/owner.

My parents used to take us to this restaurant almost once every week for dinner decades ago. Now I have revisited few times as a grown-up. Although they have changed a lot in terms of the looks and price, I find the beef still perfectly tender and all side dishes pretty flavorful. The restaurant now occupies the whole building with an elevator. The wait staff are not overly friendly, but they are fast and efficient in somewhat systematized ways. The table cooking is closely watched by a waitress, so the meats are cooked and served in perfect timing. The price has definitely gone up by a lot even when compared to other restaurants in area, it might not be a place I could take my family once every week anymore.

It is voted as one of the three best Galbi BBQ restaurants in Suwon. A nice place to host guests and ambience is nice. A plenty of parking space and located on major intersection. A lot of side dishes are offered too.

Once you are drunk, everything taste nice. That’s their fried chicken tasted when it comes with beer or soju. The fried chicken was dry ,hard and not impressive. There are so many fantastic fried chicken around but not this shop. Their fried chicken was pre-fried in advance and re-fry for the 2nd time when customer placed the order. Hence the customer will get their food pretty fast. This restaurant mainly targeted customers that drinks. The servers were very attentive whenever you request for anything especially you need beer or soju add in. Great effort. Servers were very friendly and helpful. Not recommended if you want somewhere peaceful and quiet.

The is a typical back alley style korean chicken spot. The chicken is excellent! And salted which is rare to come by. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a great, inexpensive dinner.

Old-school chicken place in Suwon, definitely worth visiting if you're in the neighbourhood. Pretty simple stuff, deep fried chicken (no batter) served with a couple dipping sauces, great with a cold beer.

The place is inside of AK plaza on the fifth floor. Overall the interior is clean and pleasant with a modern feel. There are covid restrictions in place and they seem to take it seriously. Sign in at the front, check your temp with the camera on the stand or a handheld IR thermometer for the little ones. Every other table/booth is blocked off. The doorbell that sounds when a customer comes to the door is a bit annoying. You can hear it clearly over the entire restaurant even with many families talking. I ate by myself, in between trains. I waited about 15 minutes and was sat at a far table by the restrooms. It felt weird being so far from people, and the odd fishbowl effect didn't help. Half of the restaurant is glass floor to ceiling so shoppers and passers by can clearly see everything you do, much like a zoo or aquarium. The waiter brought over a coaster, handiwipe, and single serve hand sanitizer. I had not had much chance to look through the menu while the waiter hovered around me waiting for me to order. It felt rushed and pressured. I did not see the regular thing I enjoy on the US menu. There is no Blooming Onion, no Sashimi, and no Prime Rib on the menu not to mention no veggies I saw other than salad. I asked the waiter if they had any of these. He spoke very good English and told me no they did not. I ordered a sirloin, it came with two sides. I ordered French fries and fried rice. It apparently also come with soup or salad. The salad dressing options were limited to 3 or 4 options: ranch, honey mustard, or vinaigrette. The ranch wasn't bad, little thicker than I thought it would be. The salad came without tomatoes as I asked, what surprised was the volume of cheese it had on it. With the salad came out the bread. Overall the taste is the same, there is something missing or changed in the recipe. It just has a slightly different taste to it. The butter seamed under whipped. It was a sweet butter, pretty good actually. I think a less sweat butter would work best with an already sweet bread. The food came out very quickly. The steak was cooked correctly to a medium. Not a super flavorful steak, but I'm not a steak guy. The fries were crispy and salted perfectly. The fried rice was good, not alot of flavor out of it though. The silverware looked beat. It was very worn and the "steak knife" was flimsy/bendy and dull. They did come in a sealed bag for covid. The stake came with a sauce, I believe a butter reduction with some sort of flavor in the bottom. Mostly just tasted like clarified butter. Not being a steak guy I like the tang of yellow mustard with my steak/prime rib. Surprisingly they only have whole grain and honey mustard. The waiter brought my check before I'd even finished half my steak. Overall I felt rushed. I had to ask for another coke after he passed by a couple times. Not sure if that cultural or not. Paid the cashier at the front and was out the door. Overall not bad just don't expect it to be like the US versions, and it was alot like eating in an airport.

My party had a situation, that resulted in an unfortunate sequences of events and ultimately lead up to us being coerced into buying a steak, that was 1 hour late and served wayyy after The rest of us were done eating our food. The staff... was no help while were trying to resolve the situation and informed us that regardless if we accepted the steak or not we will be paying for the steak. I wish the waiter that served us initially made more of an effort to understand us that really would have helped. SHOUTOUT TO THE WAITER THAT HANDED US THE BILL, she couldn't speak English but she tried her damn best to serve us to the best of our ability...I wish I got her name to praise her for her hard work. Unfortunately at the time of this review my friend is down $200 for a cold Tomahawk.

The food doesn't taste the same anymore. The ranch dressing tastes like mayonnaise. The portions seem smaller as well. The bread is smaller. I ate there for about 8 years, but it no longer has the same quality to me. That is my opinion. I won't go back.

The set menus range from 89,000 to 125,000 won per person, depending on what you choose. The set we picked started with chawanmushi, followed by fried tofu, and then marinated seaweed, cucumber pickles, and boiled prawn. The sashimi platter came with 6–7 kinds of fresh, seasonal fish, all nicely cut and really fresh. We also got an extra tuna sashimi platter with three different cuts—ranging from lean to fatty tuna. It was pretty good, though the soy sauce was on the sweeter side, which took away some of the usual umami flavor. The abalone was cooked perfectly—really tender and enjoyable. They also threw in some octopus, but it didn’t quite fit the flow of the meal. They served four types of sushi too, but the rice was a bit dry for my taste.
