A beautiful café with an even more beautiful view of the fortress gate. I decided to try something a little different and ordered the popcorn latte sounds strange, I know, but it was surprisingly delicious! It had a subtle popcorn flavor that actually worked really well. A fun and cozy spot, definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Great cafe on the 2nd floor and roof top overlooking the city wall and gate. Coffee was palatable and the burnt cheesecake was moist. Although the toilet was quite smelly, overall the atmosphere was decent including the service.

Every time we visit Suwon, this is our cafe of choice. The cafe has the best views of the Janganmun Gate whether you are inside the cafe or on the rooftop. I recommend the signature cafe paletscent if you enjoy a sweet creamy iced latte. However, all of the other coffees I've tried here (Latte, Cappuccino, Americano) have also been really good!

A chill cafe located right opposite the Janganmun Gate of Hwaseong Fortress- Paletscent is on the second floor which gives a less obstructed view of the fortress. We tried the signature drink which had a matcha cream, coffee and milk- the layering of the drink makes it very fragrant and creamy whilst being not too sweet. The cafe latte was fragrant as well.

Not a bad place. It is kinda small with limited seating. You can ask for to go. You order everything on a kiosk and if there is seating you just sit and wait. Once your food arrives to the counter you just pick it up. The food portions are great. Music is good. Has shaded areas for outside seating. Again seating is very limited. The food was very fresh tasting. I got the chicken basil paninni and my friend got the shrimp salad. Both were very very good. I recommend. To drink I got the lemonade and my friend got the Kale juice. The drinks arent overly sweet which is great to me. Highly recommend if you can get a seat or order to go.

Dropped by Heol Coffee Roasters in Suwon and got the “Red Sun” and my cousin went for the “Peach Black Tea”. Mine was super refreshing, and if you’re into passion fruit, you’ve got to try it! The view of the gate from the cafe is seriously stunning. Lots of seating too, so it’s a nice spot to just hang out and to cool down.

Kabojung is a proven quality. Of the three most famous Galbi restraunts in Suwon, Kabojung is the largest and arguably the greatest. Silla might be fancier, Bonsuwon might be more modern, but Kabojung is definitely the torch-bearer of Suwon galbi. I would highly recommend this place.

A cafe around Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. Open from 12pm. I came here today, Monday (2021.3.22) around 11.30 am but there were already 4 ppl in line. It opened exactly at 12pm and we were allowed to enter, write our names and phones, then order. But the bakery were ready at 12.30pm. Coz I was the third person in line, definetely I missed the spot. I managed to take a pic of other persons' drink but unfortunately I didnt hv time to wait for the spot to be empty. So if you want to check this place, be sure to be patient waiting for the spot to b empty. 😉

On a great street to walk around, right next to the steps going up to the fort. Not far from the Suwon train terminal. Maybe a 5 minute taxi ride. I certainly recommend it.
