The restaurant is within the Grand Palace Hotel in Yercaud. This hotel is one of the best, on top of the hill with the best views of mountains and valleys. The restaurant also gets similar views. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good. The quality and quantity both were good. Overall service was good, and staffs were very courteous. I've to cut one point because of the way their morning breakfast was arranged. There was no segregation among veg and non-veg counters, and people were using the same serving spoons for both the items.. This should've managed well.

Amazing restaurant with a fantastic view. People who work here are passionate about what they do. They accommodated our group’s each and every request and went extra mile to satisfy our palette. Food presentation was awesome. Ms. Sathya and her service team are very presentable, wear a smile and treats everyone equally. Great food and nice people. Our group enjoyed to the core. We went to this restaurant for dinner. The location is amazing, right on top of a hill, and the ambience is beautiful. But the food was disappointing for the price. We tried Mutton Biryani, Prawns 65, and Chicken Lollipop – none had much spice or flavor. It looked nice but tasted average. Overall, great place to sit, but not for the food.

It stayed here for 3N and 4D, stay was wonderful and all the staffs were very friendly and reachable always for any support. Food is bit costly but quality is very nice. Specially to mention - Sathya and Rimpy were easy access and always there for our needs. Overall it is very wonderful property and feel like closure to very mother nature. I wish them good health... Came across this hidden gem where locals don't often go. Excellent, friendly service from Mr. Vishu and his staff. The limited menu offers a consistently top-notch dining experience. You have to try the salmon fish fry with the Sri Lankan ghee rice and chicken gravy. A definite revisit next time I'm in Yercaud. A best part of my trip is visiting this place loaded with sarcasm quotes written everywhere.

This is one of the best places I went to Yercaud. The staff was very sweet and the ambience of the place was so quiet and charming. They had funny quotes written everywhere in the place even on the stairs. They had cute birds and dogs inside the cafe itself along with that they had plants all over the cafe. It gave such a nice atmosphere. The food was also amazing. We ordered fish fry, prawns fry, sri lankan rice and chicken curry. It was all amazing. But i felt like they should include more dishes in their menu. But overall everything was amazing.

We were a family of five, looking for a place to have some food and this place caught our attention due the good reviews, so decided to give it a go. We walked in and sat at the table. A gentleman approached us and humbly informed us that it was not a walk-in restaurant, one had to prebook a day in advance. He also apologised for not being able to serve food to walk-in customers and encouraged us to stop by that evening to order food for the next day. Anyone in our place would have taken offence and walked away, but we decided to return that evening to book our lunch for the next day - just for three, as parents are pure vegeterian. The gentleman introduced himself as Dr. Vishu and said that he runs the place, serves only non-vegetarian food, does not entertain foreigners and people who drive a merc/bmw/etc. 😁 He doesn’t store food in the fridge to just heat and serve, he prefers to buy fresh everyday and serve fresh for his guests. There was a lot of sarcasm in the our conversation, in a way that was funny, and we enjoyed every bit of it. So we returned that evening and placed our order. He shared his visiting card and offered us to contact him in case we needed any help in Yercaud, only this time he was serious and not sarcastic! So, the next day, we turned up at lunch time, as decided, and got seated. There was rush and it seemed like the customers were enjoying their freshly made meals. We had ordered for Pan fried fish, Chicken curry, Jaffna mutton curry, Sri Lankan fried rice, and Parotta. The fish fry was lovely - he said it was salmon or something in local language that sounded like Chonok. I’ve had Chonok multiple times in coastal regions and loved it, and this was no different. The curries were delicious, with the flavours of meat nicely complementing the flavours from the spices. The rice and parotta were also good. All served piping hot, which added to the good experience. After this, we wanted to taste a bit more, so requested him if he could spare a half plate of mutton sukkha, to which he said he could only serve a full plate, not half. Since we were already full, we politely declined to have the a full plate, with some disappointment evident on our faces. He returned after some and said that he couldn’t let us leave without feeding us with the mutton sukkha, so offered a half plate and boy - it was so good, cooked so well that the meat almost fell off of the bone, so delicious and flavourful! Vishu is an absolute gem, a sweet rascal in every right sense, who puts in efforts to offer a truly elevated experience to his guests. Apparently, he also provides accommodation. Such a fabulous experience here at the sweet rascal. It is by prior booking only, in person so plan your meal accordingly. Our host helped us to choose the items and it was the perfect choice and it was just enough as well. Coming to the place it is open with lots of company with a sweet dog and lots of gorgeous birds for company. It’s truly the best if you are going with kids. There are a lot of fantastic dogs who will give you company in the premises too. Coming to the food, we had the fish fry which was so delicate and cooked to PERFECTION. This is not to he missed at all. The dosa and Jaffna mutton curry went really well together. The meat was cooked well and it was so tender. If we stayed another day we were sure we would want to be here for another meal. The quotes are such a fun addition to the experience and keeps you engaged. Food is priced very well for the amazing flavours.

Loved this place. This place is as unique as its owner. We did not know it was appointment based but he did not send us away. He took order for they can serve at that time. Considering the fact that we were all extremely hungry, we were more than happy. This is a place for non vegetarians. Not even egg was served. We had parotta, chicken curry and boneless fish chilli. All of them were very tasty. The ambience of the place is unique.It was filled with quirky quotes , plants and pets. Now, to the owner, Dr.Vishu, he took the order by hand and I was very impressed with his calligraphic handwriting. He took each and every one of our names and phone number which I found it a bit odd. But I am very glad to have met him.

It's the best hotel in all of Yercaud.. It is in a very reasonably priced. The oil quality is very good and healthy. Quick service. If you ever stay in Yercaud especially near the bus station place, this is the best restaurant. Great greenery as well near the restaurant. Limited parking.

It’s not a star hotel, but at the time of ordering, you’ll be shocked by the prices 😅. There’s no satisfactory service for the amount you pay. Definitely "NOT BUDGET FRIENDLY HOTEL" , even for normal food.

We visited New Saravana Bhavan Elite Hotel recently. From the outside, the place looked impressive, and there was a decent crowd, so we initially thought it would be a good and authentic vegetarian restaurant. We ordered masala dosa, idly, special biryani, and also took a parcel. The idly was just okay, but the sambar was a big letdown — it tasted more like paruppu kulambu and seemed like it was prepared earlier in the day. It didn’t have the freshness or flavor expected, especially considering they charge ₹50 for just two idlies. At this price, even small street-side shops offer far better idly with tasty sambar. The masala dosa was average. The potato filling was okay, not very flavorful. Again, the sambar was below average, and the chutney was just fine. The special biryani was the most disappointing. Priced at ₹200, it was served in a small box with very limited quantity. The taste and quality didn’t match the price at all. Overall, our experience with family and friends was not satisfactory. Given the brand name and outer appearance, we expected much better in terms of taste, quantity, and quality. At this price point, we don’t recommend this place. We hope the management takes feedback seriously and works on improving the food quality and value for money.

I've been here at least half a dozen times for their breakfast, tea and dinner. Love the ambience, the beautiful and serene view and ofcourse the menu. The restaurant parking is quite small and when it's season, it's smart to avoid it. The restuarant is beautiful, peaceful and has some amazing food. The service not so good, the staff aren't trained effectively, they don't understand even their own menu and can be a pain. Will I visit the place again, hell yeah!

Sky Rocca Diner is in an absolutely amazing location with stunning views. We went for the lunch buffet, and it had a good spread with delicious desserts and main course – especially the biryani. The place is well-maintained, clean, and beautifully set up. The manager, Mr. Ramu, and the service staff were very warm and welcoming. Absolutely loved the experience. The only downside was that the food could use a bit more spice and flavour, but honestly, the price is worth it for the views alone. Just beautiful!

We went mainly to experience the sky walk but we thought to have coffee there. However only buffer was available so we refused. Then I asked if we can check the skywalk. The manager very politely told, though it is not allowed but you can go and come back fast. He spoke very nicely and welcomed us. Even the security people were soft spoken. Nothing much to explore in skywalk but good experience

The main attraction of this place is the view and definitely not the food. This place Is beautiful, and the staff is polite. Food might not impress you but the place definitely will.

The food was amazing. I ordered pancakes with potato wedges, ghee podi dosa, mixed veg paratha, pineapple pieces and watermelon juice. This was for breakfast. Firstly they gave idlis and upma too but since i am quite not a fan of idlis and upma i didnt eat that much. The rest of the food was amazingly made by the chef. I lived the pancakes and potato wedges the most. They use the organic veggies grown in their garden. Overall the food was amazing.

Had been to Sweet potato organic restaurant which is very very good, loved the food and services. We stayed here for 2 days. Amazing food and hospitality. Chef Bala Murugan and his team ensured very good food for 2 days. Very healthy food loved it. Manager Arun and his team was too good and loved the hospitality. 5 stat services. Mr Muniyandi and his team were exceptional loved it. Ambience was too good! Must try this restaurant for sure if you are in Yercaud.

During our stay at Wow Bison woods had chance to dine at Sweet potato, their food and service was excellent and Mr Muniyandi and Mr Dileep assisted us in great manner to have our good time there. They additionally attended our kid food also. Thanks for the food and service..

Late Review: A wonderful 'almost home style' restaurant within the Story Resort premises. Food was prepared with wonderful balance is flavours and menu choices are not overwhelming. Tried quite a few things and was impressed with the staff's attention to detail along with the quality of food served. Sees a lot of footfall and is busy during the holiday season. Ample parking is available on premises, although the way in is rather unpaved and steep. Do enjoy their hospitality when in the neighborhood.

This restaurant is in the The Story resort. This place is very beautiful and well decorated with lots of interesting show pieces. We went to have lunch here. Probably since it was mid week, the restaurant was empty, and the menu was limited. We wanted to have chicken biryani, but that was not available. We had veg fried rice, chilli mushroom gravy, onion pakoda and lassi. The portion size was worth the value and taste was also good.

Very shitty food. I ordered chicken pakoda and it was mostly onions and curry leaves fried in besan. And i also ordered chicken sandwich which had no chicken inside it, except for two or three bits of chicken. First i thought i was eating a veg sandwich😭 Please dont order food from here. I mean if you are taking so much money for the food, atleast have some standard. It was all waste of money.

We were staying in a nearby hotel and went here for dinner, after seeing their excellent reviews. On the way there at night, we were slightly skeptical due to the dark roads as we were walking the entire distance. On reaching, we were thrilled at the wonderful ambience of this restaurant. We had dinner one night and we checked into their resort the next day itself. We also had lunch and complimentary breakfast that was part of the resort package. All the dishes were excellent. The service was wonderful. The ambience is top notch. Considering the overall offering, we were pleasantly surprised that the prices are also very reasonable. Mr Yuvan ensured us a wonderful experience with his pleasant demeanor. Thanks to all the support staff too.

We visited this place after reading some reviews. The place is quite cosy. The menu is pretty elaborate. We ordered for a pizza margherita, a Mexican veg sandwich, along with some drinks (non alcoholic). The food was tasty. The service can be slow at times. We had to ask for water a few times before they got it. Considering it was a Saturday night and the place was kinda busy, it would have hampered the service. Overall a good experience, nothing extraordinary though.

Based on my friend suggestion I have been here. It’s exactly opposite to sky park. First start with parking no enough parking. Restaurant @ rooftop only lift. Food is good we have tried garlic bread, chicken pizza thin crust, chicken noodles all good both quality & quantity wise. ambience is nice. Only thing service is bad we need to ask for everything. He will take the order & vanished we need to ask for everything start with water, ketchup, issue, chilli flakes… even bill we need he is not nearby. Be prepared.overall I will recommend becoz of food & ambience 4.

This restaurant is a must visit in Yercaud if you like Italian food. Food is awesome here. So is the service and atmosphere. But it is little costly. Most of the stuff are from Darjeeling or North East and they are super nice. Really liked it here.

The service was amazing , the last minute request for a celebration was also made Available swiftly by HK staff Kumdha. At the hotel the food was delivered on time and the taste was up to the mark and effectivly managed by Food management staff Annakili. As far as the service , from receptiona dn front desk these guys for amazing and Bala supported us through the process from entering the resort till leaving. We enjoyed the Bonfire arrangements made by the staff.

We visited on a Sunday. There was another boufay going on in shervoys which had some crowd. When we visited silver Oak restaurant they said they have everything in the menu. When we were ordering they kept saying it'll take time for this item.we were ready to wait and so we still ordered but they come back after 10 mins to say we don't have that item today. They only had biryani which didn't taste like biryani.no tea or coffee was available . Only pineapple and watermelon juice was available. Meals, roti curry, ice cream and tea will take time to be delivered (in actual they don't have). Hotel was clean. Manager seemed to be talking well with us but he was very keen on sending the people out soon though the restaurant was not fully occupied. I wouldn't go to this place again. They wouldn't give the menu to you as well as they know they can't deliver orders but they would simply welcome you in.

First of all , everyone should visit the food preparation place which was very much dirty with full of flies around, bad smell all around the cooking place, because restroom was just very much near to cooking area which was always open. Went last week for a trip to yercaud, Hotel was located just near to yercaud entry , Outside was good But inside fully horrible. You can see full wet place in dining area while eating , which was very worst to see., with water stagnant all around dining place. No proper food hygiene maintained here, New to this hotel , caught nicely. No food taste , with huge price. You should wait for more than one hour after the order. Working staffs are rude and very lazy. Online payment is not working there as in hills , we can't use gpay , They even not providing wifi for the coming peoples While at the time of payment, they are providing, Which was quite jealous I never recommend this hotel to anyone... Don't waste your hard earned money , kindly avoid this hotel. Hand wash place was very worst and dirty.

We came across the resto while we were on our way to yercaud for the location. The location and design and lighting couldn't have been better. The ambience and the minimalist but beautiful nature of the place is amazing. The food was very very good. Though we went there pretty late and options were limited. They greeted us with free chips, boondi raita & onion with mayo. The boondi raita was so good that we asked for extra. The soup there was very very filling and tasty. So, please be careful in having it as an appetizer. Kebabs and chicken starters were good and chicken rice was good as well. What went beyond expectation was their butter chicken, which is definitely the best after the original one from moti mahal. The veg noodles was very simple and exoected. The sauce seemed very fresh. Need to try the schezuan noodles. The veg dish kadai veg could have been better. It was average. But we do need to try other options. Thanks to the owner for the experience.

This Review is not for the food, but the safety, it is slippery floor everywhere. I have fell done fully on floor slipping due to wet floor. No courtesy enquiry if I'm ok, even one of their staff seen me fell down, he didn't bother to inform the manager on the incident. When I informed about this incident, the bill counter guy is very casual and didn't regret for that and he was blaming the granite flooring guy... such a unprofessional and inhuman behavior.

Looking at the reviews here v chose this place for dinner Great ambience with the view Just over a hyped place ....The food was below average and quite expensive.... And to our surprise at the end guess what?! They have billed the price of two dishes more than the cost mentioned on the menu...And when v asked them they lie saying it's not updated with the new prices...Even the menu i scanned has the cost as on the menu card... And wen asked i want to relook the menu card they least bothered to give it us... They probably thought they could make us dumb with calculations... When it rains, they don’t have well managed cover for guest, but we were served in an alternate restaurant in the same property (didn’t like the other place) 6. Not a pet friendly place, my brother and his dogs remained in the car but Altitude was kind enough to parcel a pizza as take away 7. The Grand Palace staff wasn’t best at communication, no one knew what to say when asked multiple questions

This is a gem in the whole of Yercaud. The restaurant is managed by Mr. Kathiravan who is a stalwart in the business and has a pleasing personality. The initial interaction made us regret not having stayed in The Brook resort for the whole trip. However, coming to the food, we had read a few reviews saying the bamboo biriyani was good, but it was a whole lot more. Kathi explained each and every dish in such detail and precision, it was fascinating. All the food is prepared fresh which means there is a fair duration between the order being served. We had: Bamboo biriyani - we wanted to see for ourselves if it really was good and we were more than satisfied. This type of biriyani is served in a lot of places but this time the rice tasted of bamboo, something unique. Tribal Fish Fry - this was a delicious preparation which had subtle spice. The fish was slow cooked and served in a banana leaf which made it soft as butter. Rajasthani Fry Chicken - it was the most flavourful chicken dish I've had in a long time. It was wrapped in a romali roti and pit-roasted just like food is cooked in the Thar desert. It tasted authentic. Satti curry - this was another local preparation which was served in a pot. The chicken was tender and the gravy had a simplicity to it. It was the perfect accompaniment to the phulkas. Bamboo chicken - it was a type of dry chicken cooked in a bamboo shoot. The dish had overpowering flavors which justified the explanation saying the tribals used to make a masala of all available ingredients and have a meal. Finally, we had a digestive drink called Pana Vanam, it was a mix of betelnut, rosemilk, honey and other herbs. It was a beverage I won't forget any time soon. All in all, this was an experience, not just a meal and we hope to be back, maybe for a stay too since its right next to Pagoda Point, the best view of the whole of Yercaud.

Food is good. Both the quantity and taste wise it's nice. Even the ambience with the billiards table and projector with live match screening set a good mood. However the service is pretty slow even after ordering via the website we had to follow up with the servers as they missed the first order. Overall a decent place.

We all had severe food poisoning the next day of having food from here. They did not have most of the cocktails on the menu. Neither they have most of the liquor items. Two beer options available.. Service was pretty good. 2/5.

Awesome service! The prices were okay and the food tasted good. The staff were super super polite and helpful. They were watching a cricket match when we arrived (there was no one else in the restaurant I think because of covid) in a Tamil channel. When we asked them to switch to an English sports channel to watch the dame match, they even changed the songs they were playing to English songs. And I LOVED their collection of songs. They were super attentive to us. And I especially loved their chocolate brownie with ice cream.

Lovely place and location to have any meal. We went there for dinner on Saturday evening and we're very impressed by the service and hospitality. Decided to go again for lunch on Sunday afternoon and we're thoroughly satisfied and happy about our decision. Staff was super good. Abarna served with a smile on her face and welcomed to the place even when it was still being opened. She had been working previous night too and inspite that as alert. Chef was there too and obliged with every small request. He too was present the previous day. It is the experience which makes one come back to such places again and again.

Please do concentrate on providing good quality food. I ordered veg kurma for night dinner and encountered serious Loose motion and vomit from 4 a.m onwards cancelled all the plans and returned home. We complaint about this incident to the receptionist. They simply reduce the amount for veg kurma.

One of the best stays in Yercaud. Food options in breakfast is very good, only drawback is that the restaurant gets crowded during lunch and dinner, else it is a peaceful place. First of all the expectation (basic cleanliness and amenities) kills. Don't get confused with their fancy names for their rooms while booking. No major difference except the size, all have the same issues. List of issues we faced: 1. cleanliness - Floor, bathroom and Tables. After our request only they cleaned and still not done completely. 2. Food - Waste of money. Lunch we ordered both veg and non- vegThe morning buffet was really not worth it and the tea was pathetic.

Resort suitable for family, they provide 2L water bottles and also have free water outside the room. Room price are little high compared to other stays. They could have provided basic bathroom kits. Restaurant is available in the resort, it is very useful. Quality and taste are fine in the restaurant but price are high. Play area is very small and no activities in the resort. Suitable for just stay for nights.

Not worth the money – very disappointing stay I stayed at SS Silver Resort in Yercaud, The room had a bad smell from the moment I entered. TV was not working as they hadn’t recharged the subscription. They only provided a kettle — no coffee powder, tea bags, or even basic dips. The floor was sticky and clearly not cleaned properly. The room was not prepared before my check-in. The booking mentioned “Premium Room with Balcony” but the balcony was not attached to the room; it was accessible only from outside the door, which is misleading. The sofa in the room was in terrible condition with visible stains, making it unusable. The property looks totally different from the photos shown on Goibibo. When I asked about this difference, one staff member casually said, “That was updated 8 years ago, sir.” The only good thing was the separate water heater provided in the room. Overall, this property is not worth the price charged and fails to meet even basic hospitality standards.

Waterfront restaurant is just walking distance from Poppy Hills and Yercaud lake. They have very large space for Yercaud standards, and adequate parking also. The food tastes very good. We ordered tandoori chicken, chicken biryani, both were very good. The waiters are bit stretched during the peak hours when it gets crowded. If you maintain a bit of patience, you can enjoy a good food. The ambience may not be great. The toilets are average. Overall decent experience in the middle of the city.

While searching for a decent restaurant in the lake area, we found this food court with good parking facilities. The food tasted good; though the prices were high, the quantity justified it. The ambiance was decent with a nice lake view.

Had lunch at the restaurant on a Monday. There was no wait time and the service was good. They served Byrani, veg and Non veg meals. The meals is pricy for the quantity. Tandoori chicken and fish finger was good. The curd rice was dry and the chapati was very hard. There is plenty of parking and washroom was well maintained. However the hand wash was missing.

We had a really amazing time at GRT Yercaud! The place has a beautiful view, and the way everyone took care of us made the stay extra special. The food was just too good, every meal was tasty, and even the desserts were delicious. The complimentary birthday cake I got during our stay was a lovely surprise and tasted amazing! Big thanks to Prince and Rajakumari, who served us with so much care and were really friendly with us and our kid. I also started reading the book written by the CEO Vikram during my stay… I’m not a big reader usually, but the preface and first chapter really caught my attention and made me want to keep reading. Even though it’s mainly for hoteliers, it gave some great insights about business values and ethics. A few ideas truly inspired me and felt relevant to my own journey running an online jewellery store, Deevyatha Crafts. All the staff were kind and helpful throughout. The view, food, and warm service made our trip feel totally worth it. We’re leaving with happy memories and hope to come back again soon. Thank you, GRT!

I stayed at Great Trails from 22nd to 24th Oct with my kids and parents. Right from welcome till the checkout , everything was fabulous. They take care of every little thing that anyone would need during a holiday. They have great staff. They were always approachable and polite. My kids loved interacting with them. Good spread of breakfast menu with live counter. Lunch/Dinner (a la carte) was very tasty. My father loved the consistency of the food. In his words "Pet bhar gaya, mann nahi bhara". Location is great, at 20th hairpin bend. Views from room / open deck are simply awesome.

Had a great stay. Despite being fully booked their service was exceptional. Neat & clean rooms. The rooms had good scenic views. They have a lots of activities & their staffs are always ready to guide. Very polite staff. Hats off to their staffs, from parking to restaurant great service. Definitely in the list of top resorts I have visited. The location, views and the overall setup - so close to nature. Superb food and very helpful staff. Breakfast buffet had a wide range of items - tough to try all of them. Room service was quick and staff were courteous all the time. Rooms have amazing view. They had a bonfire arranged in the common aoace. - Kids had a good time. I am going visit here again for sure, worth the money you pay.

I had a wonderful experience at the great trails. The rooms were spacious and clean. I absolutely loved their food menu which was a mix of local cuisine and continental, giving families good options. The service at this place was the best, everyone is really helpful and eager to solve any issue you face. There are activities planned everyday so if you are new to Yercaud, you can take advantage of that. Bar is average but do try their restaurant' local menu.

Meal is unlimited and Kari soru taste like kothu parrota. Kari Perutuna soru quantity is large. 2 person can eat one. No parrota available for lunch. Ilaneer payasam is ok. You can try if you never had before.

We had a worst experience dining in this restaurant. The portion is very little for the price paid. Taste is also below average. Hospitality at its worst. Unruly behaviour of the staff when asked extra Kurma for Parotta. All rice items are given in a small bowl which is not sufficient even for a single person. One Chicken Curry Dosa is costing ₹300/- which is too high a price for an ordinary restaurant. If you want to eat stomach full, you need to spend at least ₹700/- or more for one person. Buffet from other resort hotels is a better option by spending few hundreds more. The only console is that they served everything hot. Other than that there is nothing else to say. Not recommended..👎

This is the in-house restaurant of Sterling resort. We only had the complimentary buffet breakfast from here. It was one of the best breakfasts we had with a wide spread of items including both veg & non veg items. The service was good & staffs were welcoming. They have good but little congested seating space. The place will be crowded on the peak breakfast & dinner time on weekends & holidays. As for any Sterling restaurant, the menu is way too expensive. Let me be honest.... I stayed in the sterling resort for a night after a two-night stay @ Great trails (GRT). Had lunch, dinner & breakfast here. We ordered chicken biriyani for lunch. To be honest, this is the worst biriyani I've ever had anywhere in my life! They've mixed some chicken gravy with cooked steamed basmati rice, and they call it biriyani! The service and the staffs are all excellent but the alacarte (at least the chicken foods) are truly a misery.

We went to this hotel on the recommendation of our restaurant where we stayed. We ordered chicken briyani (mutton briyani not available), chicken 65 and a veg meal. The Briyani and Chicken 65 taste were below average. Veg meal somewhat average (btw only vegetarian options here). When we entered the place, it was very crowded. After lunch we concluded there's not much option left in this locality. Ambience not feasible. Only one lady was there to cover almost 5 tables. You need to make noise to order items. Overall not a good dining experience.

Chicken and mutton are nicely cooked. Maintained order by issuing a token. The place is a little congested but neatly maintained. Biriyani is average and tastes like kushka but pieces in it are cooked to its best. Other than biryani taste others are all the best. Parking vehicle is quite an issue during peak time. Only 5-6 cars can be parked inside.

It is among the city's oldest hotels. The food is excellent. Meals are available here, both limited and unlimited. You can choose limited meals if you are a medium eater. For us, two persons can eat the limited meals. There are vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The dishes provided here include fish curry, mutton gravy, sambar, rasam, buttermilk, papad, and one vegetable palya. This place serves mutton and chicken biryani. The taste of mutton biriyani is mediocre. However, the piece of mutton is cooked to perfection.There are options for chicken fries, mutton-chukka, and fish. The mutton boti was excellent. Despite the fact that it is season time, the service was satisfactory. There is a considerable wait on weekends and during peak seasons. We waited for around forty-five minutes. The board has been informed that GPay and cards are not accepted on weekends. There's a little parking space. Therefore, parking is only a major issue here on weekends and during peak seasons.

One of the best places to visit in yercaud. Amazing scenic view with great food. I can’t stress enough how good the food is. Everything is made Aron scratch and fresh spices used. Heartwarming South Indian food. I would 100% recommend it. Only downside would be the see through window glass was untidy. I hope they clean regularly. Quality matches the price.

I recently visited Kingswood Plantation Café, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The location is calm and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. The coffee was rich in flavor, freshly brewed, and paired wonderfully with the snacks. I also loved the cozy ambiance — it feels like a refreshing escape in the middle of a plantation. If you're more fond of homely food, when I say homely, that doesn't cause any harm to your stomach and on the same side it should taste good.. Then choose this restaurant. The ambience is super.. Hospitality is awesome... Pricing is reasonable.. After finishing the food, your tummy will thank you for not pushing it harder. Also you have a Baba temple next to it and don't miss to visit it if you're following Baba.. You'll be amazed with the temple and I have never seen a temple like this so far...

Absolutely loved Kingswood! We tried their crispy chilli potatoes, latte, filter coffee, masala chai and chilli cheese toast and even though they did mess up certain things about the order itself, whatever made it to the table was great! Loved their starter drink as well, yum! A definite must try, absolutely loved the ambience as well.

A menu stuffed under the car wiper actually led us to this place. The restaurant was clean. I liked the way the interiors have been designed and the lightning at night adds to the ambience of the place. The restaurant is located on a curve on the road and looks brilliant when lit up at night. The staff were courteous and the service was quick. The food was good and not exactly expensive. We started with Kozhi Rasam, a spicy indian soup, served hot on a cool night, it was good. I don't know the dish names ( as i wasn't the one who ordered) that were ordered but they all were good. The curry was perfect for the Butter Kulcha that remained soft until it was consumed. The star though was the Ilaneer Payasum or Tender Coconut Payasum. A must try. The Gajar Ka Halwa was good too. We ended our dinner with a cup of hot lemon tea. Overall i would certainly recommend this place. And will most certainly visit next time I am in Yercaud. Hope the management maintains the standards in future too.

Amazing staff, service and wonderful place . And it is just 4 hours drive from Bengaluru a must visit resort I say. “Mari” who helped us a lot and his service was excellent. And the spa was amazing, Food was also really really good, It was truly relaxing. And we stayed in the tent which is actually a premium one, I liked the tent very much because it was more bigger the villas, though it rained heavily over the night, it did not disturb us, Mari gave us the best service here. All the amenities were top notch, i must mention about the pool here where I enjoyed a lot, it was like a hot bath tub in the amazing greenery. Overall it was a wonderful relaxing trip for us, you guys go and enjoy ❤️

Kongu Nadu Kozhi Kuzhambu (a traditional chicken curry from Tamil Nadu's Kongu Nadu region, which includes Salem) and Mutton Chettinadu were the highlights of our lavish spread at lunch today. For folks who began by saying that light meals are preferable, meaning the buffet would be wasted on us, we certainly did justice to the array of dishes we were persuaded to taste by the erudite general manager, S. Ravisundar. The standouts of our visit to The Fig Tree Place, which is the restaurant operated by Shambala Plantation Stay, were the 2 aforementioned dishes; we also enjoyed the fish fry, parpu-ghee-steamed rice-fried papad, sambar rice, a typical Chettinadu brinjal curry (Ennai Kathirikai), freshly made chapatis... Oh, mustn't forget the buttermilk with which we began the feast and the semiya paysam with which we ended it. PS: We couldn't resist checking out the Samaya Gift Shop attached to the restaurant. And we couldn't resist splurging on the home-grown pure, not chicory-added, filter coffee (₹500 for 500 gm) and black pepper (₹800 for 1 kg). The restaurant is attached to Sambhala resort. Lot of greenery and natural beauty inside the place. The ambience is good and staff is friendly. However few items in the menu were not available at lunch time. The food quality was average and prices were high in comparison to the place like Yercaud. It's good for one time visit.

This restaurant is placed in the property of the Shambala resort. It is beautiful located in the heart of yercaud natural beauty. The chef Mr. Sundar and other staff were very welcoming. They explained and highlighted out the local dish for us to order. The food was really delicious and the quantity was good. The washrooms and seating tables were clean. Will definitely try staying in this resort for future visits to Yercaud. They have a dedicated parking space for visitors only coming to visit the restaurant.

Lovely restaurant amidst nature. Very scenic, calm and quiet as it’s inside a private property resort. Food was pretty good. Nice place to go with family or for couples too. There was no mobile network in and around this place.

The place is not worth the money we spend. Some of the things I noticed were 1.] The helpers there are always sad(May be they r not paid well). If we ask 1 or 2 items more in breakfast they show faces. 2.] We got a ground floor room from where the view of lake is not possible. The beds were on the harder side for the price they charge on top of it it was sort of sofa cum bed. 3.] Food was OK and some were good like the hot mirchi bhajji and onion pakoda was good. Needs improvement especially in Vegetarian options. Don't know about non veg though.

The location is very convenient, just a short walk to the boat house and Yercaud Lake, and about 1.5 km from popular attractions like Lady’s Seat, Gent’s Seat, Children’s Seat, Rose Garden, and Botanical Garden. Free Wi-Fi was available, although the internet connectivity was somewhat limited during our stay. Overall, a great option for families or couples looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Yercaud.

Best place if you are a family with kids. Service staff were very supportive, even provided us with room heater as we had a 2yr old. Location is close to Yercaud lake. Special mention to food. It's tooo good. My kid loves it. Just like homemade. Right amount of spice and oil. Definitely will recommend.

Absolute Pathetic. Booked almost 2 months ago via service aggregator and they took all money and confirmed. We were having a bachelor trip of 3. Upon reaching desk, they started showing some random policy stating no Bachelors allowed. After some time even started to entertain they can allow with some additional charges. Finally I had to call the aggregator to get it cancelled as they were not even allowing cancellation. For the amount I spent on booking a room here, I got another room in Yercaud at a 5* resort. Dont even think of stepping in if planning a bachelors trip. The look and feel is way way way outdated when compared to amazing other properties that Yercaud has. !! Just to Clarify, they never cancelled my booking for 2 months after taking up money. If they had so called Policy of not entertaining bachelors, let them PUT UP IN ALL THIRD PARTY APPs. TO BE CLEAR. . Thank God I got an update extremely good property at this amount !

Very good spot for a cafe. We had ginger tea, filter coffee, French fries, burger, and few other things. The person running the shop is very passionate as the taste of each beverage and dish is very tasty. We also had their chocolate coffee which was outstanding. A variety of beverages, snack and fruit juices are available. Must try when you visit Yercaud.

Good filter coffee, but poor service. I was charged ₹5 extra for a small amount of brown sugar with no prior mention in the menu. Staff attitude was unprofessional, and the prices were quite high. Pure vegetarian cute cafe in Yercaud..had hot chocolate, filter coffee here after my breakfast. Both were amazing. The ambience is too cute and maintained very nicely. Self service place where you can go on a date or with family and friends too. Street parking is available but you will have to search a little during peak hours. This place cannot be missed if you are going to Yercaud. Please do try their hot chocolate, it is one of the best you can get in Yercaud during chilly cold weather. Loved the vibe of this place. Cute, positive and cheerful with lots of antique showpieces all around. Definitely a must visit.

Yercaud Juicebar provides a great ambience and good service. 🍹🧃🍵☕ The price is quite nominal and the food varieties are delicious.🤩 The best part is the filter coffee which is a must try. ☕ The only downside is that there is no parking available at this place. 🚘🚫 Nevertheless, it is a good place to visit and have a memorable experience. 👍🏼

This restaurant has pretty decent good and some good views of the surrounding hills. It's located inside from the main road on a rather poorly built private road. So it's a bit difficult to spot. We had ordered chicken biryani which was decent and had good amount of meat. Their raita was amazing. There were way too many elaichi in the biryani though. The egg masala and phulkas were reasonably well made. Overall, a good location to have food close to Yercaud Lake However, the hotel interiors were badly maintained and the lift was not functional when we went.

One good restaurant for dinner, we tried non-veg dishes and all tasted good. Service is good. The view from the restaurant is good. Biriyani was different and the taste was good. Price is reasonable for the quantity they serve. Most of the dishes will serve for 2 easily.

Had a wonderful time in the resort. The staff were really kind and provided assistance whenever needed. All the tourist spots are really close by, saving more time. We opted for the Swiss Tent. It was a unique experience. It has a private garden with a hammock. The food was also really good. It was worth the money and and the waiting time.

We had an amazing stay in a beautiful heritage style property, truly worth the price. We booked a "Heritage room" for 2 days and the experience was very pleasant. The surroundings are extremely peaceful, with a lovely garden and a farm (lively picking) where they grow a variety of fruits and vegetables. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor activities to enjoy, making the stay even more delightful. The staff were very polite and helpful, special thanks to Gokul, Unna Malai, and Vijaya from housekeeping for their kindness and support. The restaurant food was tasty, though a bit on the pricier side. Overall, a wonderful stay that I would highly recommend!

Had gone for lunch with family over a public holiday (Independence day). My visit to Shevaroys Signature Restaurant was, unfortunately, an overrated experience. While it presents itself as a star hotel, there were several missteps, especially considering it was a public holiday weekend. The food was a mixed bag. The Chicken Tandoori was good, but the Butter Naan and Roti were just okay. The Tawa Fish Fry was disappointing, and the Chicken Biryani was a disaster—overloaded with spices and not enjoyable. The Sweet Corn Soup was also average. Beyond the food, the overall management was lacking. Parking was difficult to find, and the security guards seemed to be struggling to manage the crowd. It felt like the hotel management didn't take adequate measures to prepare for the business event and holiday weekend, which is surprising for an establishment of this kind. Overall, I was left with the impression that this restaurant is not worth the hype. While a few items were decent, the overall quality and the poor management of the crowd and parking made for a frustrating experience.

Both staffs Ms.Nithya and Ms.Neethu were courteous and helpful when something was requested by us. Buffet spread had pongal, idly, vadai, dosai, poori, chutneys, sambhar, kesari, eggs 🥚, bread toast, coffee ☕ tea. But for the given price of the cost for a room in the resort, the breakfast is sure not a lavish one. Food tasted good and would love to visit again if I get a chance. When going for dine in during lunch, the price to quantity served is not again justifiable. Whatever you order will be sufficient only for one person. Undoubtedly the price tag on the menu is pretty high and limited.

- Cold food served after 30 minutes waiting time. Cold breads, cold curries, cold gobi 65. Instead of Gobi 65, they served Gobi Pakoda. - Very less portion of food paneer butter masala. - They got 3 garlic naan, 1 every 5 minutes when we ordered only 1 naan. - Spilled a plate of papad on us. - Brought fresh lime soda after the whole meal ended. We thought they forgot by this point. - Said there's no roti, naan or any breads, at 3 pm. Then checked with kitchen and said it can be made. - Kept bringing non veg dishes to the veg side of the table. Despite repeated reminders. - We ordered 4 brownies with icecream. We waited 20 minutes. When we asked again, they said they didn't take the order. Then when paying bill, 4 sizzling brownies was present in the order. This restaurant was a 2/5 experience. People serving at restaurant were confused. Didn't bring spoon, bowls. When we asked for bowls, the server said it's difficult and nodding no. He then checked and brought bowls.

Both the fried rice and schezwan fried rice were bland, lacking salt and any real flavour. Most of the sides were unavailable, which was disappointing, though the few that were available tasted decent. The dessert was good, nothing memorable. Overall, good vibes but the food really needs improvement.

This sterling property is at a very scenic location. Located very near to few of the sight seeing points.You get amazing views from the valley rooms. Room size was decent and amenities also were decent. Staff is helpful and well behaved, just felt that they were understaffed to attend to the peak croud. Food options were good. It has a bar and a spa. Downside is: it has a lot of stairs to climb. If you are allocated such a room, it is not preferable with elderly people with knee issues or people with issue climbing stairs due to health issue.

Our experience with this place has been extremely mediocre. Staff in the restaurant are very courteous. But tables do not get cleaned on time, food in the buffet do not get refilled timely need to wait for a very long time. There is good amount of effort that has been put in from the staff but still lacks maintenance and management.Quality of food can be improved and heavy on non veg, veg options can and should be improved. 2. We stayed for 2 nights and we wanted the room to be cleaned when we were not in the room, but their cleaning takes place only between 2pm to 5pm. Ideally cleaning should take place when the guest is out. Since we wanted to get some rest we asked the staff not to clean but just get water and towels. The towels came but the water did not. I had to ask multiple times for it. 3. Bar did not have a bar captain, had to wait almost for 10 mins for him to come. 4. Our key card stopped working suddenly on the 2nd day, there are not many staff you can find and there is no house phone (it's a 4 star properly) bare in mind. I had to go all the way to the reception and get a replacement. 5. Phone in the room was not working(it was replaced as soon as we asked for it) , AC was leaking, fridge was dirty(though we had no utility of it). But these are some basic things that need to be taken care when you are giving a pretty picture on the website. This is no where close to a 4 star property. Loads of room for improvement. 6. Not friendly for old people as this is on a hills too many steps to climb up / down. While we had a good time overall, the stay at Sterling did not add to it. It was a disappointment.

Excellent stay and breathtaking views of the valley. Breakfast had a good spread. Only thing to have in mind is there are lots of steps before getting the room and hence elderly and small kids find it little difficult. Staff were very helpful and overall had an amazing stay with family.

Nice. There was one simple problem. I could not pay for the food online through the website due to some technical hitch and I had to pay through the link sent to me. the same was not updated on time and the lady at the dining hall had the audacity to deny entry and i had to take the help of the receptionist to enter the dining hall in order to have food. this could have been avoided and the buffet served is not up to the mark. She should have at least considered the fact that I am a member of the Sterling Resorts for the past 14 years!. In fact before M/s.Thomas cook took over the resorts the food was excellent. Now the spread is limited. The staff at the restaurant are lethargic and they were making me to wait to serve one rava dosa for more than 20 minutes which was disgusting. Moreover drinking water was not kept in the room and I had to wait for more than half an hour for the water to be supplied. Previously there will be one microwave oven, few cutlery for heating the food which seems to be missing. Needs thorough revamping of the resort to bring back its past glory.

Recently stayed in Sherva Stellar Resort for 2 nights. We really had superb experience... Property was located in top of the hill with great ambiance.. Forest view was amazing .. you can chill outside with cup of tea and enjoy the climate.. Staffs are very friendly and respectful.. Main thing is food, though they have restricted menu, but you will get the tasty food on time... Also evening they will put songs in firecamp area.. we can play our favourite songs and enjoy with your loved ones. We totally enjoyed the trip. Thanks

We went there for brunch. Was a little unsure since there weren't many reviews but ended up loving the food and their service! 😍 We ordered the Maharani Chicken, Rumali Rotis, Garlic Naan, Panner Butter Masala and Chicken Briyani. Out of these the Panner Butter Masala was the best! I really loved the taste and it wasn't too sweet just like how I like it! Rumali Roti was also soft and not too chewy! The Chicken Briyani was also like how we make it at home with loads of mint! 🤩 They also have another Branch in Salem! Do check it out! 😁

Worst hotel ever. If you visit Yercaud, don't go to this hotel; worst service and the hotel owner's behavior is bad. I suggest good one Hotel Karuppaiah, opposite it.

The shop is normal small one. Ordered Chicken Briyani, Fish Fry, Chicken 65. Briyani was average. Both fries was good.

Too much price. Parotta 20₹ per nos. Chicken Rice 80₹ Not worth. All hotel same rate
