Food tastes awesome with a very good service especially the staff name Khun Muay.Everytime I come here I would always asks for her.She is very nice with always smiling face.She gave us full service through out the day till night without any tiring face( this time we came with a group of almost 30 peoples). During my recent visit to the restaurant, I had the opportunity to sample their culinary offerings. The staff provided exceptional service, contributing positively to the overall experience. While the food quality was generally satisfactory, the Somtum set with grilled chicken was particularly enjoyable. However, the presence of flying insects in the dining area detracted from the experience. While the establishment is adequate, particularly given its affiliation with the Avatar Hotel, I recommend that the restaurant prioritize improved hygiene measures to enhance the dining environment.

It is a Thai restaurant that also compliments limited Indian and Mexican dishes, which is good. Have a great choice of drinks as well. Staff are friendly but do not pay much attention. Food is delicious, and they also have happy hours for drinks. They offer seating choice in front of sea, which is good, and table umbrellas are made available upon request. recommended!

Solo stop in for a bite and drink. Friendly staff. Beautiful scenery to eat beside. I had the sweet and sour seafood and rice. It was excellent and my strawberry shake helped mend last night's party 🥳. This place is well worth the stop.

We ate here many times for breakfast in the morning a huge selection and very fresh, no complaints. We ate dinner here most of our holiday. All food was good. We actually never had a bad meal. The Panang curry outstanding, The green curry super tasty just the right amount of spice. Fried chicken and chips delicious. Coconut crumbed prawns outstanding. The fire show every evening was entertaining. We also had live music 2 evenings while we were there. We ate at other places but always found ourselves coming back to Jeps restaurant. Very good food indeed.

Definitely above average quality food which mostly tends to match the pricing structure of the menu, considering we are on the resort national park island of Koh Samet in Thailand. I ordered the cheese burger with bacon which was a bit skimpy on the beef. "Where's the beef?" best sums up the cheese burger to borrow the saying from the famous Wendy's commercial popular during the 1980s. The burger meat was of very high quality but seriously lacking in quantity. I also politely asked for the bacon to be crispy because in the past of eating here numerous times, occasionally the bacon was soggy and under cooked. I also ordered the ribs which were sumptuous and exquisitely tender in a sauce reminiscent of ketchup mixed with bbq sauce. I would give the ribs nine out of ten stars. They're just wow! The owner of red ginger named Roger (who I have known for several years) was sitting at the front of the restaurant drinking booze becoming a mixture of gregarious and belligerent. He said some very rude things to a group of four people (two husband and wife couples from China), upon them leaving the restaurant he said very loudly "goodbye and me love you long time or short time if you prefer" the Chinese husbands leered and scowled with anger at the sexual suggestions directed at their wives. The owner was behaving like a mean drunk and also using a lot of foul language and curse words when their were families with children in the restaurant. I really like the owner on a personal level when he's sober, he can be intelligent and engaging, but he's a mean drunk otherwise. I will definitely be visiting again for the ribs, hopefully the insolent owner won't be drinking booze when I do. I highly recommend people try their ribs you won't be disappointed.

We heard of this place from our Airbnb host! The owner and chef's name is Roger and is one of the coolest guys I've ever met. Also, the food was pretty amazing and very reasonably priced! Highly recommend

Delicious food and Roger the owner really brings his character and personality with it. He entertains the customers and even came and joined us for a drink and a chat. The other staff are lovely too - really feels welcoming and family run kind of place. Comfortable and cosy with great selection of thai and western dishes - definitely recommend the Green curry and Nana's brownies!

Food was amazing. The staff (the owner) was a little bit overwhelmed with so many guests-other guests had to wait a long time to place their orders. But we got everything we wanted and it was delicious!

Excellent chicken green curry and sweet & sour pork. The quality and care for the Thai dishes is clearly above the average you'll find in koh samet. Although it can seem also above average prices, portions are generous so very good quality-price.

The food was okay, depends on what you get. The owner was a bit overbearing and talked down to and drunkenly barked orders at his partner. We felt slightly uncomfortable when more than half of our time there Roger had sat down at our table with us and was asking us personal questions. Definitely not for everyone.

I saw many rave reviews for the ribs and decided that would mean they can also make great burgers. We had a big burger. I suggest you try the ribs, they say that they're great. If I had a time machine I would use it to go back in time and run into Red Ginger and slap that burger out of my hand onto the floor before it got to my mouth.

We were here for the fire show, but a little early. We got here at 5 pm and the restaurant was empty until 6:30 pm when it started to be filled up. It's just my personal opinion that Thai food wasn't the best. I love the fire show. They start at 8 pm. We just sat and enjoyed the beach from 5 pm until the show started.

Came for dinner and fire show only. I did not stay here. Food was good and prices were reasonable. They have sit down style on the beach, much more local feel and style. Show started at 8pm, so you will want to arrive earlier to get a table. This was also the best fire show I saw all week.

Rude staff especially the lady who act like the boss. Ordered more than a thousand for 2 persons but she keeps asking us to order more indirectly. Experienced almost the same with all 1 star in the reviews. Decided to walk away and went to much better restaurant with better fire show at silver sand (this is not promoted). Dont come here if you dont want to experience the same. I would give negative if I could.

Very appealing attitude by the staff. There is one lady who acts extremely rude. She physically sat on our table on a chair and forced us to order a lot more food than we would have liked. Avoid!

We came here for dinner. The setting is nice and they have the best fire show in Koh Samet. The food is average.

I had a really disappointing experience here. I stood near the table for about 2 minutes while staff walked past without acknowledging me. Eventually, I sat at an empty table—there was no sign or indication it was reserved. After sitting for about 5 minutes, I called a waiter and asked for the menu. He came over, made eye contact, and just waved me off without saying a word. No greeting, no explanation—just gestured for me to leave, like I was bothering him. About 2 minutes later, a different waiter came over and told me the table was reserved. Again, there was no sign, and no one had said a word until then. Whether it was poor communication, bad service, or something else, the whole interaction felt unwelcoming and careless. I’ve had amazing service across Thailand, but this place really stood out—in the worst way. I won’t be back. Try the restaurants next door on either side—same great view of the fire show, none of the attitude.

What a unique, special find!! Owner has an amazing sassy personality and makes you feel like you’re going to your families home for a meal. The food was outstanding- I had the Massaman curry (asked not spicy) it was delicious. Portions were big- prawns huge, spring rolls- homemade old school chips. Look at the smile on my father in law’s face- that just sums up the review haha. Highly recommend a visit. Be warned if you ask for Thai spicy- that’s what you get 😉🌶️ 🔥

Hidden Gem in Ko Samet. Friendly staff Excellent Thai food - I had green curry (pic), but I’ve heard all curries are on spot! Koi pond on left as you walk in. If you want to sit outside and watch the fish there is 1 table for 2 right there. Generous pours on wine as well

We ate at the Banana Bar three times and the food was delicious and cheap. Our dishes arrived as requested without meat but with tofu. The service was always friendly and attentive. Right next door, they also have very tasty fruit shakes and a smaller selection of delicious dishes if it's too crowded. I recommend the 1 Million Baht dish! 😀

I would not advise to go here. My husband and I are vegetarian and we saw the good reviews and decided to try. One of the staff was really rude to us when we wanted to double check to make sure there was no meat or fish. When the food arrived there were ants in the food and they didn’t come from the table. The portion sizes were good and flavouring was good but we were put off but I’ll be honest hygiene isn’t good here and afterwards we both ended up with food poisoning.

My son and friends was so enjoyed meal after played on beach half day , we walked about 800m here. Good dinner ! no need to get on queue. the Fried chicken need improved. The rest is great!

Great place for some decent seafood. Located directly next to the beach you can put your feets into the sand and lean back to enjoy the sea breeze. Food is tasty and prices are reasonable for this area. Just the service staff seems a bit bored.

This was a great find. We stopped in while walking on the beach. Great food. Loved the squid and the papaya salad. It was all good.

Stylish venue set up from the beach. Seems to be the restaurant of an upscale resort. Service started attentively but then stopped abruptly once the food was delivered, which was strange as there were only 3 tables occupied. But the Thai food was very poor. I doubt they had a Thai chef in the restaurant. Cheap beach restaurants make much better food.

Good quality Thai food with a menu that offers a wide range of different dishes. Prices are a bit high but not surprisingly high as it's the resort's restaurant that caters to a higher standard. The staff is mainly attentive, however, there is a language barrier as orders are often miscommunicated or partially forgotten (I visited the restaurant four times during my stay, twice during lunch time and twice for dinner). The live music runs daily with the exception of Wednesday which is a good idea in theory, but in reality the music is so loud that you will not be able to have a conversation at the table anymore. It's as if you're attending a concert and maybe want to exchange a few words here and there. Also, the music choices are debatable as it's mostly Western music (I am from Germany and even I don't like the songs) and personally, I would have preferred acoustic music or less invasive music. The restaurant offers a BBQ on certain days of the week which was very delicious. However, the handling again kind of ruined the experience. You have to order the food from the grill at one station in the restaurant and need to talk to another server at the other side of the restaurant to order side dishes and hope that your order doesn't get lost and that it arrive at the table the same time as your BBQ. I don't understand how you would leave this responsibility to the guest, especially as you only realize this misconduct once you're served one dish while none knows about the rest of the order. To sum up: good food, a bit pricey, will not return as the handling ruined the experience.

Really good quality of food, Thai and western dishes in generous portions. Lovely outdoor space, excellent staff and service but prone to frequent mosquito visits! The security staff made us walk around from the road via the beach which was a little inconvenient. Worth a visit when you want some creature comfort and reasonably priced in line with similar hotel restaurants.

Nice atmosphere and clean but just that, low quality foor and expensive. Frankly is not a place i could suggest to friends. Staff concentrated all the time on one table only because thay have some connection with the guest leaving the other people to wait .... low value for money

Coctails are good, for reasonable price, 160 baht. They have a coctail promotion from 3pm to 9 pm for 100 baht. Atmosphere really good. We went there on the weekend, so DJ provided the music, he was super. We really enjoyed even it is not crovded. The beach is nearby.

Great fun place. If u want to have a night out there you go. The picture was taken hour before the place was full. Great music and dj. Free face and body paintings just help yourself. The place have a great atmosphere and before u realise u are on your next drink and another and another. They have also happy hour until 8pm if I good remember.

Really cool bar with friendly staff and tasty drinks. Happy hour is from 3-8pm, so be sure to make use of the 80 bhat cocktails! You are also able to play pool for free on the top table and add to the neon writing on the walls. We did get loads of mozzie bites here, but they did turn on the fans to try and minimise it.

A relaxed bar with a unique atmosphere. Great selection of drinks. Good prices. Super friendly staff. Lots of steps in the bar. Also on the way to the toilet 🚽. People who generally have problems walking should therefore avoid the place.

Very cool bar full of neon writing all over the walls and furniture (don't forget to leave your sign too). You can also play pool and there are other table games to use too. We visited during the low season so there were not many people around but I can imagine that when the place is full the atmosphere is lit!

This place deserve 5 stars rating, decent drinks and good atmosphere. Happy hour until 7PM is added bonus, nowhere on the island you can find cocktails for 80 THB. Games and pool table available. Colourful place with good music - overall good place is perfect for few drinks and deserving of a crowd.

Although the location is nice and drink was okay, the service was bad with horrible attitude. If you like loud music, this is your place. But if you want to enjoy some natural sound with slightly lower volume of music, then this is definitely not your place. They are not very open to customers' feedback unfortunately.

This is the only bar & restaurant has great music at that beach. The ball sofa was so comfortable with the music and wave. It is hard to resist to lie down at that orange sofa and grab a beer for the evening

Extrem bad food. Dont eat here! Never had such a disgusting Pad Thai before. Tom Yum was also every bad and tasteless 7/11 Mama Tom Yum soup is better! Sushi was frozen.

The worst food we had on the island ! The food was tasteless, arrived cold, the fish was not fresh and the bill was very expensive!!!! Suggest never to eat there.

A really nice bar with a good pool table. Very cool interior that has an island beach theme to it. Prices on beverages are reasonable and the employees are very service oriented. If you want to play pool with some bar girl this is absolutely the place to go on all of Koh Samet

Fun bar, prices are fair considering you’re on an island. Staff are very friendly and not too pushy. My lady server from Cambodia (tean) was very fun to play with playing pool 🎱 would visit again.

So nice. Beautiful, interesting interior. They’ve clearly put some effort into this place. The guy serving drinks (probably owner) also knows his subject and was very welcoming. We had 2 margaritas and they were kinda different, with egg white. So tasty and cool. Recommended bar.

The Mango acts as breakfast for the hotel guests. Great morning buffet with everything you would expect as international breakfast (including chinese/thai). The service is good and fast cleaning up tables as it peaks (no free tables) when all guests joins same time (peak hours).

First, the sunset view is terrific! If you stay the Ao Prao Resort or Le Vimarn, please come here to have a good taste dinner. Then the service is also good, staffs here are great and helpful. Do recommend here and Thai food is authentically good.

Family dinners of 7. The service and food was very food. We ate at the restaurant multiple times during our stay on Koh Samet. The fire show on the BBQ night was entertaining. The team was very friendly and very accommodating. We really enjoyed our time here.

We ate here a few times during our recent stay. One rainy night we were moved indoors seamlessly , the staff adapted brilliantly. Food was outstanding every time: we tried the BBQ and other dishes, with the best prawns I’ve ever eaten. A fantastic singer added to the atmosphere on a few nights. Be carefull about your orders and payments. The staff is very confused. They change food orders, what has happen not only to us, but the other tablet as well. Then they confused the bills and food on the list. Overall the restaurant is nice, nice sea view. And the food was very good for good price.

Food isn’t great, but the staff and the location is fantastic. I would not go here for food, but I’d be here a long time with beers on the beach because of the views and the staff. If you’re a big group they will accommodate you and you can eat and drink comfortably.

Employees are not so friendly I would say. If you are out on the beach they will get rid of your seats for other customers. (We spent over 1,000 THB twice as we stayed for about 3 hours) the thing is there were many empty seats. Anyway, you can enjoy the beach view while eating/drinking. Foods are just ok...

I’m surprised to see low review scores at this restaurant. I always eat here when on the island. It never disappoints. I mainly order seafood. Asparagus fried with shrimp and squid fried with basil are my favorites. Very fresh seafood, big portions and cheap prices.

Surprised to see how low the reviews are here, because it’s one of the best restaurants I ever had in thailand. Some of the dishes are so impressive, like the squid with salted egg, fresh oyster, papaya salad with seafood. Had all my meals in this restaurant on this island trip except for one. Some waiters are not as attentive as others, but generally good service. Happy to pay 10% service fee.

I used the service and there was a man wearing a red shirt. His facial expression was unfriendly, and he was even sexist. I did not like this experience at all. I came here to relax on my day off, but you reacted this way? I really didn't appreciate it. In customer service, no matter what gender someone is, you should always be attentive. One of a few restaurants on this part of the island making the most of the ocean views, beach and weather. Open seating with the tables closest to the beach filling up first and notably people tend to sit / dine for a long period of time so tables turn slowly. (If it's busy you might wait for a while to be seated). The menu offers both western and Thai favourites.. and the staff are on-point with service. (Close but never in your face) Great value for money and smiles all round!

Been coming here for years. Not for the food mostly but for the placement, atmosphere, service is more than fair. It’s placed on the center of the beach where there is most action and busy. Food is average and above. It does the job and I once had new year here which was fun. They served me a piña colada cocktail but it was very bad and mostly tasted of vodka or bad rum. I told them in a nice way. The bill came and they charged for it. I complained nicely and they actually had such good service that they deducted all my drinks and water as an apology. That’s good service and makes me want to come again. Keep it up. 😊 It can be a loud area in the evening too. I mostly have good memories here.

Very nice restaurant by the beach. Has nice seats where you can sit and enjoy the sea and beach. Right next to activities area so you can also watch the water activities as you eat and drink. Service is good and prompt. There's a lady right in front of place selling the pancakes.

Good reliable place to get food and drinks in Sai Kaew Beach. Food is reasonably good. Prices reasonable not cheap but also not too high. Friendly staff and service is quick. Plenty of seating available. It’s right on the beach. Thai and western food.

Friendly service on the beach, food choice quite good. Prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants around but they do charge a fix 10% service charge. Being on the beach in the evening is very nice and having food and drinks there. Can recommend.

We ordered chicken spring rolls, pepperoni and salami pizza and chicken paneng curry. The spring rolls were good. The pizza isn’t authentic and the crust was too hard for me but the topping was tasty. I didn’t try the curry but I was told it was good.

I had lunch here the first day and found the food and service great! So great. I went back twice more. The red curry, pad thai, mango sticky rice all delicious. Highly recommended.

I’m not rating the hotel room as we didn’t stay at the hotel. The restaurant is nicely designed and decorated. Staff are very good. But the food is definitely overpriced and didn’t taste right for us. A small bowl of chicken coconut soup was 240Baht, for example. The seating look nice but weren’t comfortable at all.

I didnt stay here. Just stoped for lunch and i would say this restaurant made really good local Thai foods. every flavors is compromised in each other. Especially, pork with shrimp paste and squids in black inks. Highly recommend for thai foods in Samed island.

A Thai restaurant with great service, bold and intense flavors, and a nice atmosphere. The stir-fried pak kood (fern) with salted fish is delicious, the deep-fried crab meat rolls are excellent, and there’s a fire show at night.

One of the waiters (older male) try lying to me and over charging me, until I told him that I live in Thailand. Then we order the appetizer that in every menu had an 8 count and we had 8 people, so we ordered for everyone to get 1, when they gave us the order they only gave us 6, and the same gentleman told me: “we change the menu, new menu”, so disrespectful like I am an idiot. We were the only customers in the restaurant. The fried rice with Salted Fish is a joke, I didn’t see a single piece of fish in my rice. I felt super uncomfortable to be honest because the man was acting like we are dumb and tying to take advantage of the tourists! Don’t go here!

I visited this beachside restaurant for the first time today and had a great experience. I tried the coconut juice, fruit bowl, and pasta each one was fresh and flavorful. The coconut juice was super refreshing, the fruit bowl was light and tropical, and the pasta was surprisingly hearty. The atmosphere made it even better..ocean views, a cool breeze, and the sound of waves in the background. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy good food. I’ll definitely be back !

Great food! Wonderful Atmosphere and solid service! We had the laab tofu, teriyaki tofu and the Tom som soup and everything was very good. For dessert we had the fried pineapple with coconut ice cream which was delicious 😋

Winnks Beach Club is a stunning beachfront spot located just a short walk from the pier and close to Saikeaw Beach. The location is absolutely perfect for those wanting to relax by the sea with a beautiful view. While the ambiance is top-notch, the service unfortunately left a lot to be desired. On our first visit, no staff member welcomed or guided us to a seat, so we sat ourselves down. Even after being seated, we waited for quite a while and eventually had to get up and grab the menus ourselves. Despite calling for assistance, it took over 20 minutes before a waiter finally came over. The staff seemed inattentive and unorganized, which was disappointing given how beautiful the venue is. That said, the food completely won us over. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and well-presented. The quality of the food was definitely one of the main reasons we decided to return the next day. We also got to enjoy their fire show at 8:30 PM, which was incredibly entertaining and definitely a highlight of the night.

Delicious food at a nice beach front restaurant. We loved everything we ordered. The drunken noodles have perfect spicy level. The soft shell crabs were cooked perfectly. The salad dressing is light and tasty. I recommend this restaurant.

Thai dishes are genuinely well done—possibly better than many trendy spots in Bangkok. But the Western menu? Needs a rethink. My linguine alle vongole arrived as a cautionary tale: dry pasta, overcooked clams, and not a trace of the silky olive oil sauce that defines the dish. A clear no-no. As for the BBQ pork ribs, the cut was meaty between the bones but lacked the proper top layer—anatomically confusing and flavor-wise, just fine. The sauce? Standard at best. There’s potential here. The vibe is fun, entertainment is on point, and the place has character. But the service needs structure. We were initially seated at a bar table barely large enough for our drinks—only after placing our order did anyone realize it wasn’t suitable. Wine selection? Minimal. A broader by-the-glass list (say, 8–10 solid labels) would elevate the experience significantly. Final word: There’s something here—but it needs sharper execution, especially in the Western kitchen and on the floor.

It was too early to check in our Sai Kaew Beach Resort room, so we stopped by this cafe for Coconuts and Dirty coffee. The cafe was beautiful and clean! The air conditioner was not cool enough for me but not so hot. After sitting for a while, I realized it was about right. The atmosphere was very nice! The staff were friendly and helpful. As I expected, my Dirty coffee drink tasted fantastic, and the coconut was good, but I wish it could be cooler. Our total was $600 for two coconuts and two Dirty coffee drinks. We recommend this cafe if you need to relax or wait for your room.

Great spot, fancy vibes. Winkks Beach Club is a bit pricey (Western-level prices), but the setting is beautiful and the vibe is worth it. Food was tasty and well presented. The fire show and live singers made the night feel special. Staff were surprisingly friendly for a high-end place. Perfect for a nice evening out by the beach. Would come back.

The restaurant has a great vibe and an amazing view of Saikaew Beach. The Thai food is delicious, but the Western dishes weren’t as impressive. The staff are friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the hotel with our family and really enjoyed everything! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the service was excellent, the grounds were well kept, and the breakfast was tasty and varied. The only unpleasant moment was when I took a croissant from the croissant cabinet at breakfast and got an electric shock. I hope the management will take care of this issue, as everything else left a very positive impression.

At first, I was sceptical about everyone leaving 5 starts reviews, BUT it actually THAT GOOD. The service, the food, the beverages. The seafood pizza.. is mind blowing! We had a bottle of wine and enjoyed the sunset. Can totally can recommend and for sure will go back again

We enjoyed a delicious mocktail and authentic Thai seafood. The view was absolutely stunning – we sat on a wooden terrace right above the waves. I had such a great experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious full of flavor, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The sunset here was absolutely spectacular and well worth the visit. We had one drink while watching the sunset and then went elsewhere for dinner. The 500 THB minimum spend per person felt reasonable for a drink and some snacks. Service once seated was amazing and made for a really enjoyable experience. I’m removing one star because on arrival we were met with a slightly cold welcome and initially felt like we were being turned away, but it turned out he was just explaining the minimum spend, which was completely fine once clarified.

Cool place to meet the sunset with a cocktail. There is you can find signature cocktails, I ordered two and both was really delicious. Atmosphere is amazing and the staff is kind. Highly recommend this place, it is the best bar on the island.

Complimentary cold water with lemon. There's outdoor seating too. There's a little garden next to it. It's very close to the beach and a great place to have nice ice cream. By far, the best ice cream place in this island.

The ice cream is delicious! The salted caramel is excellent, the Affogato coffee is sublime and they have many zingy flavours of sorbet. (Vegan friendly, YAY!) 😍 The passion fruit and raspberry were our favourites! Scoop Garden is a lovely place to step out of the heat and relax!

Super cute shop with delicious ice cream. Got twice the amount than an other expensive shop along the beach! Pa Ba Ma flavour is everything I wanted in the same scoop - passionfruit, banana and mango. Not super clear signage otherwise I think the place would be much busier!

”Strawberry sorbet with strawberry jam and whipped cream, in a croissant, with chocolate cereal on top” sure sounds like a five-year-old’s daydream - and Scoop Garden makes it come true! Try any of the delicious ice creams - salted caramel comes recommended - but perhaps skip the croissant gimmick as the puff pastry itself isn’t of the best quality. The otherwise lovely environment suffers from shaky seats and the hideous fence surrounding the premisses.

This might be my new favorite caramel ice cream in Thailand! The ice cream is homemade and very creamy. The shop is staffed by two pleasant ladies and is very well air-conditioned, which is a perfect break from the island heat. Highly recommend.

We were there in the evening. Good cocktails, has a pool table you can use after buying something. Definitely recommend staying til around 22 when a troubadour comes on (apparently he plays every night, works in the bar). He is really talented! Have heard some real bad ones at the other places so this was a really nice surprise.

The Lima Bar is a right good spot right on the beach, with friendly and obliging staff, and a relaxed vibe. The pool table is free, with the balls being reracked each time by the staff -- the table is not in great shape, to be fair, but it's as good as any other I have seen on the island, and is certainly playable.

There are a lot of bars to choose from if you're strolling along Sai Kaew beach at night. This one is a must. The staff are soo friendly and accepting and, if you're a Brit like me and want to watch the Premiership (or if you just want to watch sport), there's a screen here to watch The drinks are hand mixed and there's a free pool table but one of the staff is a legend on the table and he'll challenge you (not for money unless you have the stomach). Clientele is great and met some nice people. Will use this whilst here - often

Super location, right on the beach. reasonably priced. They have a pool table as well. Music selection was also good. Then there was a solo artist playing the guitar ( live music). I also liked the decor. Bar staff were good and focused. I'm not sure but they only serve bar food, even though they did ask me if I wanted Thai Food. But I didn't see it on the menu. Cocktails and drinks list is vast

Loved it! More then enough vegan options on the menu, and my boyfriend also did enjoy the non-vegan food. I can really recommend a smoothie bowl and the mango-chickpea salad, so good! Especially if you add some rice to it. The veggie bowl I did not like to much. The people who work here are super friendly, smoothies are nice and also it’s just a great, beautiful and more quiet place to chill and spend the day.

Flow Café is an absolute gem on Koh Samet! The vegan food here is incredibly delicious—fresh, flavorful, and made with love. The vibe of the place is so peaceful and grounding, it’s the perfect spot to relax and just be. The owner is the sweetest, super chill and welcoming—it honestly feels like you’re hanging out in a friend’s cozy beach café. Everything about Flow feels good. If you’re on the island, don’t miss it! Your body and soul will thank you!

A hidden gem off the main beach, tucked away from the crowds, definite place to stop for a light meal or coffee/smoothie. Had a wonderfully refreshing iced coffee before heading off again for our beach stroll. The menu has great options for both vegetarians and meat-eaters. Owner has a big heart, feeds and medicates stray dogs out of her own pocket. She doesn't ask for it, but feel free to assist her with donations towards helping feed and medicate the dogs, as we did. There aren't any Veterinary clinics on the island, so you’ll see the locals take it upon themselves to help the strays. Staying for a quick drink or delightful meal, this spot won't disappoint.

The Flow Café has become one of my favorite restaurants during my vacation - and not just in Thailand, but in general! We went there at least 6 times during our stay on Koh Samet and tried all the vegan dishes and shakes. Everything was incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. The service is super friendly and you immediately get the feeling of being a friend's guest without feeling disturbed. And then there's the cozy seating and the view of the sea. Simply fantastic! All stars for the Beach Café!

I've been frequenting this chill lil spot for three weeks now! The smoothie bowls brought me in (they're absolutely divine!!) but I've eaten most vegan things on their menu (highly recommended!). Fah, the owner, asked me what she should add to her menu, and now they have Tofu Scramble!! She added 5-6 new vegan options, actually. The food is delicious and made with love. The vibes are sweet, white sand, blue-green waters, and lounges to sunbathe in! It's the best!! I'm going to miss it fiercely.

Flow beach cafe was an extraordinary experience. When you pass by this beach cafe it may not look at its best shape but if you can get over that then you will meet very nice people working here, they know hot to make you feel at home. The owner is very friendly, polite and she does speak English which is not so easy on the island to find English speaking local people. The atmosphere is so relaxed. This place looks like a magnet for nice people, here we made few new friends. The food is nice here, the coffee is great, the smoothies are delicious. Here you can rent paddle boards and even book a palle board lesson. The ovner also makes some nice and colourful souvenirs (bracelets, necklaces..) We can’t wait to go back and visit this amazing place again.

We loved Flow Beach cafe. The food is a nice fusion of Thai and other influences. Everything we tried was delicious and healthy too. The hummus has a bit of a Thai vibe and is great. The pad Thai is also tasty with plenty of veggies. The smoothies are good too. Fah and her team are super friendly and helpful. It was so good we went back again and would go back again if we were here longer.

Every time we visit Samet Island, we make sure to stop by this restaurant for fresh seafood at a reasonable price. The service follows a traditional Thai style—perhaps not as polished as some other restaurants on the island, but always warm and welcoming. The food is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend coming here for dinner and trying a variety of dishes.

Food: My hubby and I ordered: 1. crab fried rice (S) (100 bahts) Can’t see the crab meat in the fried rice. 2. Oysters omelette (150 bahts) Oily, and the oysters are small. 3. Fried garlic fish(400bahts) Crispy and big, but kind of salty. 4. Tom Yam prawn (300 bahts) It was not piping hot when served. Prawns are fresh and there were 6 river prawns. Total cost:950 bahts Despite it is our first proper meal of the day, both of us could not finish the food; this shows how big serving the food is. We packed half the omelette and half portion of the fried rice back.

A very non-touristic restaurant at the end of the main road. At my visit mostly Thai people were eating there - which obviously is always a good sign. I only gave two stars for the atmosphere because if you're looking for a nice restaurant, this isn't the place to go. But if you're into authentic Thai seafood at very reasonable prices, then this is very good choice.

This place looks simple and basic but offers a variety of different seafood options and very delicious! Away from foot traffic so it isn’t too busy - definitely a hidden gem. Price is really good for what you get. I hope I can come back again to this place

Family run business with the freshest and tastiest seafood on the island; we had half a kilo of the steamed blue crab (so juicy, tasty and the perfect amount of salt), half a kilo of stir fried clams (Big and firm) with a lovely sauce, and a full fried fish with garlic, so delicious and crispy. There were 2 of us and paid 1.150 THB full amount. Definitely recommend, don't miss it out if you visit Koh Samet 😋.

Away from the beach and the crowd, simple place; but very nice family and affordable prices. We came twice in two days. King prawns and mussels were excellent, and the scallops the best I ever ate! Don't miss that excellent fisherman place if you come to Koh Samed!

A hidden escape even in koh samed. Drive 15mins from the silver sand, and you could reach to this quiet clean water space. Food is fresh and tasty, and the owner and stuff are super nice. Recommend to stop by if you are riding around the island

Friendly waiter but very small portions. We recently dined at a beachfront restaurant, and while the location was absolutely stunning, the experience left a mixed impression. The restaurant's ambiance was stylish and cozy, creating a comfortable atmosphere that made us feel welcome. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the delicious food. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor, showcasing the culinary skills of the chef. However, the downside was the portion size, which left much to be desired given the high prices. To our disappointment, we found ourselves still hungry after the initial servings and had to place a second order. Our interaction with the waiter was a bit of a mixed bag. While he was polite and friendly, he seemed somewhat inattentive. We had to get up from our seats multiple times to catch his attention, despite the fact that there were only a few other guests in the restaurant at the time. In summary, the restaurant offers a beautiful and stylish setting, with delicious food that leaves you craving more. However, the small portions and the need to repeatedly flag down the waiter for service were drawbacks to an otherwise pleasant dining experience.

Honestly: average, at best. Had the bacon cheese burger. Lacked seasoning. Cheese tasted pretty much nothing. The chips were OK. If you like bland food then maybe this is the place for you. Decor equally bland. Owner is very affable, staff not very attentive. We were the only customers, yet service slow. Poor value for money due to the, in my opinion, high price considering the food and the place itself. Will not come back.

An okay bar that has been here on the Main Street for many years now. Very cool interior with an Amsterdam feel to it everywhere. 90 baht for a Chang is far on an island like this. Pool table in good condition and they also have darts here. A good bar to hang out at and have some beers or drinks

Nice bar with a pool table and a relaxed atmosphere. They have a few ladies to keep you company if you feel like it, otherwise you can just lay back and enjoy the music. It's nothing special but a good alternative if you want to take a break from the beach bars.

Whilst it was noticeably hotter inside, there were plenty of fans. The staff were friendly and accommodating when it came to watching our favourite NRL sports team. Most importantly, the drinks icy cold 👌

Very strange place. Interior is ok, but the staff was more than under question: they had been standing beside all the time we tried to choose a cocktail (no ingredients written in the menu) and brought a confusing bill in the end. We remembered the price of the cocktail, but the final price just had to be in the bill so we paid according to the bill. That was wrong! Before that me and my friend had discussion as we were trying to understand why the bill had this price (lower than expected), but maybe they had 1+1 sale or something like that. The lady staff looked like she waited for that and tried to make a scandal accusing me of fraud when I told her that I will pay, but it’s better to write total price instead of Thai letters next time. The cocktails seemed to have no alcohol at all and are not worth spending 200 batt.

Decent bar on the main drag, with a (20 baht per game) pool table, which has seen better days, in fairness, with heavily marked green baize. The atmosphere is vibrant, the service attentive, and the overall complexion is a positive one.

Beautiful place, you have your private beach, a small swimming pool next to the ocean, some innovating sits to stay next to or under the sea, my favorite were the bets next to the beach. The room is big and clean, more than a hotel looks like a beautiful apartment with your big yard. Totally recommend.

Quality/Price ratio very bad. The hotel had not been entretained since the last time we passed by for dinner (4 years ago). Rooms are dark and I got bitten by bugs during the night. For Breakfast they offer poor quality of products. They got out of ham and yoghurt at 9am and the hotel is not even fully booked. It is a pity to see dirty chairs in the small charming beach. All in all, very disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sleepless Society. Don`t lat the name fool you though - this is no party place. The resort is located away from shops, pubs and all the noise. You need a taxi or a bike to go anywhere. About 8 minutes drive from the beach & the main street where many of the shops and restaurants are located. The restaurant is slightly overpriced (compared to quality) but tastfully decorated. Pleasant, quiet atmosphere. We arrived just before new year so it was probably more action than usall, however this resort was quiet even on new year. A good place for families with kids who want to stay away from the crowded areas.

Nice and affordable hotel. Walking distance from the pier. Breakfast is ok (order your omelet and WAIT for it, don’t go anywhere). Stuff sometimes have difficulty speaking English, but they will always call someone that speaks English.

Decent stay in Samed island. Traveling from Rayong is quite easy, as you can drop by Ao Prao pier and take private shuttle boat to Samed, and they offer pick up service. The room is nice and clean. But what i like the most is restaurant along the beach that you can just sit and relax with your drinks for whole day. The food is quite nice, even a bit too expensive, but still acceptable. But one thing i dislike about this place is that they serve only few normal dishes in the breakfast buffet.

The room is clean enough for a budget room. But after Booked the 6 island trip the boss never highlighted to me I need to bring money to pay the island fee. When I get back I will give her feedback. The heater machine for water didn't work, no towels in bathroom,shower is broken, when we asked for towels staff give us an excuses instead of apologize....I am Thai lady visit Smed island first time with my family...its a shame and embarrassing to bring my family from overseas to the dirty island and poor service places...I am definitely not coming back to smed island and I will tell all my friends how bad seabreeze hotel services was.

Rubbish - subpar in every aspect. The water heater doesn't work. The water barely runs. The toilet is on it's way to give up. No closet. Wifi doesn't work. There's almost no one here and they still give us the room at the very end of the resort that needs a long walk. Can't rate the service because there isn't any. For a standard room at 1400B without breakfast you have many other choices, look elsewhere.

Accommodation on the island is expensive, however for a few dollars extra you can get something a lot nicer! Romantic weekend was destroyed because they over booked and put us in a shared room. We approached them but they did not care. A rude place that is more like an overpriced backpackers!

Friendly staff but the rooms are over priced with no ocean views. The bathrooms are poorly designed, just a small room with a hot shower over the toilet. The bathroom was infested with black flies and mosquitos. Bed was big and firm, with nice bedding. Room had a wall mounted tv which was nice. No closet and very limited storage for clothes and personal items.

The rooms are quite basic but are an ok price, good for if you want to stay on the island for cheap. When I visited the fan room was 500 baht and AC room 800 baht. I chose AC room because the fan room didn't have hot water. There is no safe in the room so you need to take your valuables with you or just hope nobody steals them. They do have WiFi in all the rooms.

Had a nice simple dinner. Chicken bbq with tasty baked potatoes and salad. We had a not bad bottle of French wine l, just for 950B, when usually everyone price starts from 1400B. And what us important- the place was fully booked and we got our order less than in 30 minutes! And there’s one of the best fire show we saw on the island.

I've been coming here for 15 years and love it. Most of the coral has been killed off, but it still has clean, white sand beaches, and doesn't get the same tourist contingent that gets blind drunk everynight like most of those who flock to Samui or Ko Phagnan, nor the overly sensitive types who stay safely tucked within Phuket. Samet lack a basic infrastructure and so no traffic. It's a gem so close to Bangkok.

Bad food, got food poisoning after 30mins after eating their barbecue!Under cook pork cause me diarrhea and vomiting which ruin my holiday. Pls do not go to this place to eat. The quality and service does not deserve this price!

The service at this restaurant is the worst in all of Thailand. We waited for 30 minutes without anyone taking our order, despite calling for the waitstaff numerous times. They saw us but didn't come to take our order, as if they didn't want any customers ordering so they could rest.

This is the place! Uf you are ever in Koh Samet (even if you are not) you need to try this place. The food is amazing and the ambiance is great. The staff is really friendly, speak good English and are super helpful and fast. The provide really good vegeterian food and will change the dishes to your liking. 10/10

It has a large choice of dishes, the service is very fast (even though they are cooking everything on demand, it’s not made in advance), and it is way cheaper than every other restaurants. We had our Christmas dinner there: the location is really super lovely with a look over the bay, sitting outside directly on the water side. Food was also good: we had grilled fish and our son Cheeseburger. Also the Papaya salad was really tasty. And the service personnel was lovely and helpful. On top, you can pay by credit card, which is handy as there is no ATM on the island. They add a 4% surcharge, which is in my eyes justified (and you can always pay cash instead if you don't want to spend the extra money).

Such a lovely spot! The vegetarian menu is excellent – the papaya salad and green curry were absolutely delicious. Service was super friendly and relaxed in true Thai style (just press the bell when you need something). The cats wandering around made it even more charming if you’re an animal lover. Add in the gorgeous views, and it’s a really memorable place to eat. The lady even brought us bread to feed the fish in the ocean, which was such a thoughtful touch and really fun. Also great that they accept card payments, as cash can be limited on the island (just note there’s a small fee). Some of the best food we ate in Koh Samed! Highly recommend.

Small portions. Literally for kids. Ordered a bunch of stuff. Chicken cashew nuts was made of unclear parts of chicken, skin and cartilage found on the way. French fries where undercooked and tasteless. Well it is hard to spoil som tam 🤷🏽. Smoothies sound and looks good in menu but you got like ~150 ml drink... My banana one was pretty heavy diluted...

Fantastic food with reasonable prices given the location. We tried the beef and chicken massaman which was fantastic. They could even make it without fish sauce, oyster sauce and shrimp paste (yes even in the curry paste), so it’s well suited for vegans. We also tried the red curry and grilled beef sallad. They have tons of smoothies and fresh juices and a good enough bbq. Last order for bbq 20:30, and for all other meals 21:30. The service was exquisite, big thanks to Pia for always smiling, even though we were kind of difficult with all of our special orders. Highly recommend!

Samed Villa Restaurant is now one of our family’s favorite places to eat! The kids were delighted with the fun, creative menu, and the staff went out of their way to ensure everyone was happy. maybe the best place on the island (because there are not a lot of good places lol). wide range of thai and european food, everything what I took was tasty and reasonably priced. for example, pasta with salmon, mango with rice, thai tea latte are super. waiters are polite and understand english better than average person here 😁 also you can buy breakfast from 7 to 10.30 just for 290 baht! and the other menu is available just since 11. so, highly recommended 😌 thank you guys!

Very dirty, all the bugs and flies. I told to the waiter, can you see it? And he said are you finished? I said do you think that I can continue to eat? So many bugs can’t you see it? And he just smiled and left. This is the worst restaurant I have ever eaten in Thailand.

Such a lovely restaurant. The owner/cool is very nice. Her children are helping out. I felt home. There was even a cute cat to pet! The food was delicious, fresh and homemade. Nothing bad to say at all. It was very familiar and comfy. Love the international food! There is also a place to sit outside. On top of that it is also a cool pub. Would highly recommend!

It is a good place for your lunch. There is a lot of kinds of pizza in this cafe. We ordered 10'' pizza with meat. It was tasty but a little expensive (369 baths). They have happy hours - you can order a 12'' pizza and get free a 8'' pizza, also you can order two drinks and get one free.

The Carbonara Salmon pizza had an overpowering salmon taste, but the Tom Yam Spaghetti was a delicious surprise. Prices for mains 200-300thb. Ambience in the restaurant was a bit bland considering the Italian-based menu, but flavor-wise would definitely return! Happy hour details: 12:00 to 13:00 buy 1 pizza get 1 free. 17:00 to 19:00 all medium 10" pizzas for 250thb!

The food was great, and there was a very wide variety of it. Options of Italian, American, Vietnamese, and Thai food were among the choices. The service was also wonderful, and we received some nice travel tips from the staff before leaving.

The staff tend to have the attitude. Especially female ones. (The pregnant lady and the other one who wears heavy make ups, having the responsibility to welcome guests for breakfast.) Their attitude made us feel we are asking to be serviced for free. Like our requests are nuisance. They ain’t smile or welcoming. They are unfriendly and seem fierce. We don’t feel welcome. The room is ok. The beach is excellent and clean.

Location is the best thing about this hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable enough but, need upgrades. I’m most disappointed in service staff. I only met a couple of pleasant service staff, one at the reception and the other at the egg station. The rest are unfriendly and quite judgmental. Some even had attitude. Treats Asian different than the western tourists. When checking out, asked us THB100 to pay for the two tea spoons missing. Needless to say that we didn’t take the spoons. It wasn’t much so, we paid it. So annoying.

This is such a good accommodation. The rooms are clean l, the staff is super friendly and open, the beach is so beautiful. The next beach towards the south is reachable via the coast and the restaurant is also very good and tasty. Overall I say it can not get any better for the value. We will come back for sure.

We (family) took a villa (two units connected) and it was super convenient with the kids. The location right on the beautiful sandy beach and close to necessary shops makes it the perfect location on this gorgeous island. If you are looking for a budget relaxation in style, that's your spot. Good breakfast. Very good restaurant and great spa.

I and my family members booked a family villa & stayed at Samed Villa Resort for 03 days from 12th October & it's a top-notch resort for relaxing . Their service & food quality was awesome. Enjoyed fire works at night 🌙 started from 8 pm. I specifically thanks to their staff Ms. Ann & Mr. Zee. I recommended the said Resort.There is very little issue regarding their charger port that my phone s25 ultra socket cannot put into the port.Suggest to check it out.

Overall a nice island resort. Good breakfast, comfortable rooms. Still, lacks polish: Check-in/out involves dragging bags across sand beach to road.

We had a great time. Rooms clean and aircon nice and cold. We had the B&B option and the breakfaat was amazing. Close to shops, other restuarants and massage areas. Beautiful beach with warm water. Overall a very nice stay.

For me, Tub Tim Resort is the best choice on Koh Samet, mainly because of its location. The beach here is stunning and peaceful – much nicer than the nearby “party beach” with the famous bar. That one is fun to visit, especially on weekends, but definitely too loud to stay at. Tub Tim is also close enough to the island’s main tourist beach, with plenty of shops and bars, but it still feels far more relaxed and charming. I highly recommend the beachfront villas on stilts – staying right by the sea was amazing and definitely the best option in the resort. The restaurant is another highlight: we tried other places nearby, but the food at the hotel restaurant was by far the best, with fair prices and a great atmosphere. In short – beautiful, calm, and atmospheric. The perfect place to enjoy Koh Samet.

Always get to come back here. The tourism on the island is changing which is not great but this place has kept its charm and its lovely staff. The food is great, the beds are comfy.. a bit of the old school vibe in the wooden bungalows is a reminder of how Thailand used to be. Shame about the coffee at breakfast ;) But the change in tourism is clear. There are even a handful of girly bars in the small town now which tells you everything about the change in crowd. Lots more families too. Tubtim still keeps its charm and still seems to be the place where the weekend gays come to hang out.

Staff friendly but work with closed eyes On the beach they are chairs and beachbeds but no matraces to put on. They are behind locked place. Its only for high season.!!!! The beach clean together with tamarind resort(4 stars) no rocks. The bungalows are old but in very big clean garden

We would like to thank the hosts and all the staff of this wonderful place. Our family came for 1 night but stayed for 4. A beautiful spot, clean beach, stunning views. The food in the restaurant is a special kind of pleasure: very delicious, wide variety, beautifully served, generous portions, excellent service, and fair prices. The beds in our bungalow were very comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and everything we needed was provided. The place is secluded, yet within a 5-minute walk along the promenade you’ll find all the necessary conveniences: restaurants, bars, supermarket, massage, motorbike and jet ski rentals. Fresh fruit and coconuts are sold right on the beach at good prices. You can also get a massage directly on the beach. A 7/11 is about a 15-minute walk away. We highly recommend this little paradise! 🌴

I wasn't impressed with the state of my room, it was clean but shabby and in dire need of some renovation. Food served in restaurant was okay but too many blue bottle flies landing on my food. This wasn't the case at an eating establishment next to hotel. Apart from that, no major issues but I couldn't wait to check out early. Great location by the beach and staff were friendly.

Beautiful location, but there’s a very loud bar/club on the beach that plays music until midnight. The staff didn’t seem particularly motivated. The restaurant was good and the beach was lovely, but the sunbeds were always reserved before breakfast. The breakfast options for vegan and vegetarian guests were quite limited and repetitive.

We booked the beach banglow. Which was a little small for my liking however it was bang on the beach. I would recommend this place to whoevers likes to sleep with the sound of waves. As it's remote please don't expect 5star service. I would recommend you go prepared if travelling with a kid etc as there are not many stores nearby.

850b was way too much (even for island life) for this, less than, mediocre meal. The menus, which we had to call for (and we were the only people there), were literally slapped down on the table and the woman stormed back off inside. Downhill from there. I ordered the chilli dog, but I don't think they've ever seen one before. Either that or they are extremely tight with the portions/ingredients. Other half had the chilli con carne, that didn't disappoint at all. But £6+ for it is ridiculous. Island or not, we're in Thailand, not sat on the Thames in Henley. 110 baht for the strawberry milkshake which was half the size you'd expect. Light on flavour, again, must be down to penny pinching with the ingredients. Such a shame, as went here before and had a decent breakfast and a good natter with the English bloke behind it. But it seems, his other half and staff don't share the same passion he does for it. Ah well, can't win them all.

Burger was Juicy and Delicious, Pizza was thin crust and tasty. Absolutely recommend if you’re craving a taste of home. Service was great too, she replaced my drink when it was made wrongly.

Great little restaurant that gets it right! We had chicken wings, fries and Margherita pizza. Wings were of A+, perfect seasoning. Fries were indeed golden brown andcrispy. The pizza was not salty and the balance of the homemade sauce and cheeses was delightful, not overly cheesy or saucy hence the natural sweetness of the cheeses and the sauce shines. I m a foodie but I adjust my expectations to the venue and situation. Don’t compare the pizza here to a pie in a famous pizza icons but If you are in a mood for some non-Thai food ( I love Thai food but need my pizza once in a while) on Koh Samet , this Cantina on a small island of Koh Samet will be a pleasantly good yet unique experience. This was a very enjoyable and memorable visit. Try the Koh Samet made pizza.

You should be patient to wait for your pizza (more than 30 mn for me) However, the pizza is not bad at all. The owner should hire one more person for the kitchen. I ordered a Pizza with Ham & Mushrooms for 299 THB, a bit pricy, but what is not to Koh Samet?

Waiting time is like 15 to 20 mins. We ordered their supreme pizza but its doesn't look like a supreme pizza worth of 450baht. The shop was nice, clean though.

Worst restaurant experience we have had in a week on Koh Samet. We both ordered American pancakes and the pancakes all tasted like banana. They also were served with honey instead of maple syrup. When asked about this they claimed that American pancakes in Thailand all tasted like banana, and that most customers didnt care about the difference between honey and syrup. We also had ordered an egg and bacon in a bun. The "bacon" was so thick and chewy it made the whole thing inedible. There was no humility about the wrong and bad food and no discount was given. We also ordered strawberry smoothies, and while they were good, they didn't have any of the ingredients and had to literally go to the store and buy them to make the smoothies. Never coming back here.

The food was just average, while the price was much higher than average. Salmon steak was dry and had strange beef sauce. My friend ate only half of their pepperoni as it wasn’t tasty at all. The beer was warm with ice cubes served separately.

We went this afternoon for lunch. I ordered the Greek Salad, garlic bread and my partner ordered Chicken Green Curry. The food took a long time to arrive (the mains that is) and to be honest, for the price of the food, especially compared to the rest of Thailand's prices, it was subpar. The food tasted fine, but not good enough for the price. Wouldn't bother going again, The Office have better options (if you want Western or vegetarian) for a cheaper price.

The food was great but we had to wait 45 min till it arrived! We ordered vegetarian cassadila (perfect!!!!) And backed spinach with cheese (nice)... A bit pricey compared to other things on the island.

Food so/so, staff is a mess, seem drugged We were a group of 8,we did order 9 different dishes, first one came after 1 hour, #8after 2 hours, based on which we canceled #9. out of which: 1 never came, 3 were ok (taste), 3 were really not good, 2 portions were very small. But not only the kitchen is a mess, it seems the waiting staff, especially the main waitress is completely lost, looks like she operates on steroids or drugs but turns everything into a mess, has no clue which table ordered what (checks 7 out of 8 tables with 1 dish, then sets it aside for 10 minutes, then remembers the dish was for table #8 etcetera etcetera. Bottom line : only go if you don't care about food quality and you want an entertaining few hours watching staff in disarray

"Don't judge a book by its cover". This is probably the worst looking restaurant I have ever been too, and the service is pretty poor - don't expect a smile. The big surprise is the food which is delicious! We ordered the chicken and cheese burrito, mouthwatering!

Specialty here is the grilled chicken and by 8pm they did not have any…for us at least …because the person next to us, who arrived later, got one chicken… then the pizza was super small and I had asked a baked potato with tuna and it arrived with beans… no napkins were provided. I asked for soda with lemon but they brought it without glass , so couldn’t really drink the soda with lemon. Finally my baked potato with beans was with canned beans for 220 THB. At least I got a 30 THB discount for the mistake of bringing the beans potato instead of tuna

Brilliant pizzas. So tasty. We also enjoyed the breakfast and another day had the steak pie. Everything was excellent. The owner’s a nice guy too when you get to chatting.

Despite the name, my visit to Restaurant Feel Good was unfortunately far from a “feel good” experience. As a vegetarian, I ordered the pineapple fried rice specifically asking for it to be vegetarian. However, when the dish arrived, it had visible chicken shavings on top. I politely asked for it to be changed, but instead of preparing a new dish, they brought back what appeared to be the exact same plate. When I pointed this out again, I was told they would just remove the chicken from the top—which obviously doesn’t fix the issue if meat was cooked into the rice. Communication with the staff was very difficult as no one seemed to speak even basic English. While I understand that this can be common in more local places, it did make it hard to explain dietary restrictions. If you're a tourist who doesn't speak Thai, I'd recommend being extra patient and perhaps using a translation app to make things smoother. The view from the restaurant was quite nice, and it could have been a pleasant spot to relax. The prices were reasonable, but I was unable to eat my meal because it was too oily and heavy for my taste. Overall, disappointing for me as a vegetarian traveler.

Fun times on the beach for dinner and live music and a show. The pizza (I know... Pizza on the beach at Thailand) was really good! We also got pad gra pao and som tum which was good too. Cocktails on the spendy side but a bucket of ice and some beer or a small bottle of regency was thuuk.

Most people eat here sooner or later when they're on the island. Vast menu. I don't really understand their pricing. Most things are 250b, but then a lot of rice and noodle dishes are 80. I've never been sure what the difference is. Maybe bigger if you pay more. I've always been full on the 80b dishes. Typically pretty fresh stirfrys with crunchy vegetables.

Good food, decent prices; make sure you tell the staff you want food to be moderate spicy or thai spicy rather "a little bit". I accidentally underspiced my food when ordering. It was good, but it would have been better.

We ate here on our arrival.... it's an okay, pretty quick fix for hungry travelers.... we were at first planning for the Banana Bar across but they were not serving lunch. The fried rice mix were okay.

This is an excellent pizza place. They also have pasta, steak, spaghetti, and salad. I tried a little of everything, and everything was great. Their baked potatoes are excellent, probably the best baked potatoes I've had in Thailand. Their salad has very high quality lettuce. Everything is very fresh. I love the bread on their pizza. Their lasagna is also top-notch. They also have Thai style pizzas like Tom Yam pizza and Thai sausage pizza. And the prices are excellent for what you get. I highly recommend this place.

Guys, the pizza Is very good👍 similar to the real Napoletana, with soft crust. Ingredients are top and all imported from Italy (that's explain the prices a bit high). Selections of wines very interesting too. Overall a top notcht place in which you can get a good pizza 😉

Very good napoli pizza and wine. It‘s rather expensive for the size of the pizza but worth it! The staff is super friendly and you can find pizza with raw ham and anchovies there - which is quite unusual in that area.

The pasta was so good and the homemade pizza dough was also delicious a nice break from franchise pizza places. The servings are pretty big, good for two especially the lasagna.

Amazing pizza. Great crust, incredible tomato sauce, and beautiful cheese. As well, the Khao soi is unbelievable. I can't wait to eat here again.

Extremely basic dining area setup alongside the beach. Dining tables and chairs must have seen better life, yet, with the help of the hard sand, they are very steady and look strong and kept in good condition. Service is slow somewhat, in taking the order and in serving food. Ordered mushroom and meat soup, chili meat fried, Shrimp and Asparagus stir fry, and steamed rice. Almost all of the meals were great if I didn’t the soup to be very bland. Price is in the average side. The general atmosphere is very nice although some groups dining next to us were very loud.

Scrumptious seafood in a seaside setting. I had the squid and mussels — really tasty. Sat with the waves lapping at my toes, with a cold Leo in hand. Another unforgettable moment.

In the restaurant on the beach, you can choose a seat facing the sea, which is very romantic in the evening. At 8:30 p.m., there will be a fire show in the restaurant next to it. You can come here in advance and wait. The food is delicious, but it's a little too salty.

Beautiful little restaurant by the beach. Delicious and well prepared Pad Thai shrimp and Frozen Strawberry Margarita Bucket. Sitting on the bean bag chairs by the beach at night is very relaxing.

Staff here throwing used cigarettes on the beach or in the water. Ashtray just some meters away. And so sad to see all this rubbish. Those plastic bags filled with sand used as a floor slowly breaking down, making pollution even worse - please avoid!

No body eat here. The worst thing is the staff smoking on the beach front and he throw cigarette on the beach without any guilt at all. He should be punished due to this.

This is a good value Thai seafood restaurant right on the beach. Service is good, toilets are okay and you can pay by QR code scan. The spicy fried morning glory, Thai shrimp omelette and grilled squid with spicy seafood sauce were great. The fried chicken with cashews was okay, but it should be oyster sauce not tomato sauce used. Overall it's a fair price is a great location.

Thai seafood is authentic. Yummy and spicy. We went there for a late lunch, Thursday afternoon so the place was nice and quiet. The waiters are polite but forget some of our orders.

Nice seafood by the crowded beach; highly recommend for dinner. Seafoods are fresh, but the price may be a little bit higher. The staffs are nice & friendly.

Sat inside with a sea view under a fan. Food was amazing. Crab was naturally sweet and tender. The seafood sauce was addictive and went quick. Shrimp were tender but sauce was a little sweet. And then the masterpiece deep fried fish was very crispy but not overcooked. Just left a pile of bones. Definitely coming back next trip.

Sell fresh seafood and choose the seafood on the spot barbecue. Pad thai, grilled squid and they were alright. Maybe we visited in the afternoon they were preparing for dinner their main business. Friendly staff and ok for the money.

Great place at the beach to have lunch/dinner. Our lunch was good, lot of flies around, but waiter gave us antifly smoke. Price level same as everywhere else on the island. Fireshow in the evenings.

Really really bad service in the restaurant. We were ordering barbeque baracuda fish with spicy sauce but then they made deep fry baracuda with sweet and sour sauce which is not spicy at all, we asked spicy sauce and still she was bringing the sweet and sour sauce with little bit chili on it.we were ordering also barbeque potato and corn but it came really late when our fish and Rice almost finish. Really really dissapointed on our Last night in samed.

My experience with Greenplace samet seahorse was bitter sweet. At one hand it's located on a beautiful beach, some of the staff are really nice and friendly (some can even scream at you during the breakfast). There was small bottled water, towels and toilet paper provided daily. Air condition units at decent condition. We stayed in standard room, with no big expectations after reading some of the previous reviews. The rooms are worn out and in most of them something is broken (we had a chance to be in four different rooms all together, with our family). The beds are not very comfortable. Hard and worn out in some of the rooms. In other rooms bit more decent (far away from great unless you like your mattress very hard). Pillows were not usable for us as they were too big and too hard. Rooms in general are small and dark. What I don't like is how dense this "resort" is build. There is so many bungalows and rooms packed in small area that it feels almost claustrophobic. There is a lot of mess around. The buffet breakfast (8-10am) is poor and not refilled often enough. The food isn't tasty and low quality. (If you say it is, apparently you don't know Thai cuisine and standards at all 🤷). Fire show as spectacular as they are, are leaving a horrible smell that will not let you properly relax during the day or evening. Beach is beautiful. So if you're looking for comfort, definitely don't choose a standard room. If you like crowded places, go for it! If you like a proper breakfast, look elsewhere. I'm not coming back and wouldn't recommend it to my friends 😐 as I was expecting bit more for the price. Coming back to staff most of them are really nice and helpful especially the gentleman from the photo (if the owner is reading this, he deserves a pay rise for being really helpful, always smiling and just the way you would expect when coming to Thailand) And if it comes to that one guy who maybe had a bad day when he screamed at people during the breakfast. Please adjust your attitude because behavior like that is not acceptable! Edit: Your response to my feedback speaks for itself 🤷 Just try to adjust and don't offend your costumers with a silly comments!

This is a great little family run restaurant right on the beach. They have good breakfast sets for 150 b and the pancakes are great as is the boiled rice with ginger soup that Thais have for breakfast. You can pay by scanning and enjoy the view while you eat. The toilet is basic but clean.

I didn’t stay here but I did eat dinner here. I had the fried shrimp with garlic and pepper. I also had the mixed vegetable fritter. The titles aren’t exactly accurate. The shrimp dish was really shrimp with fried garlic and pepper. It was by far one of the best dishes I’ve eaten on the island. The mixed vegetable fritter lead me to think it was one big chunk of vegetables battered and fried together. It was actually individual pieces of vegetables buttered and fried. It came with a clear thick sweet sauce. It was quite delicious as well. The service was really good too.

We had an amazing stay there. Food and cocktails were delicious, the view was amazing. I would recommend 100% to anyone who wants a peaceful stay on the beach. Also the staff was super nice, we forgot something in the room and they sent it back by post for free.

Nice place, we’ve been eating our breakfast here every morning, nice staff, great food and nice place to sit and have a coffee. They even have a little lion to keep you company while waiting

Great little unpretentious spot when you are staying north and looking for breakfast. Loved my coffee. The have coco milk too for the vegan ones ;) Staff friendly and food decent. Cute dogs too

I ate a tuna fish sandwich, it was so tasty and healthy. The price was 130 bath. The quantity was enough for a person.

We went there about four times and tried different foods and drinks. Everything was very delicious and freshly made. You should definitely try one of the waffles and a smoothie!

Great place to start your day or to have a cup of coffee and relax away from the crowds. Ran by a friendly owner and her children. Great layback atmosphere. The Americano is strong and good freshly ground per orders.

Nice place, great food, good service. But a little bit far from community.
