The portions are very large, we tried carbonara , amatriciana and vongole cozze. The sauces of carbonara and amatriciana were heavy, with the size of the portion they were a bit too much. On the plus side, the order arrived very quickly, and the price is attractive for the amount of food you are getting. Perhaps it is a good advice to order one place to split with a friend.

I liket this place, spaghetti were awesome and huge portions. I mean it. Fast service, nice stuff. The only negative thing was the bathroom because it's very very small and cold and I didn't see any bathroom for disable people.

Good food, you have to share one portion of pasta for two people because poetion is very big, but pasta with seafood contains not so much seafood and a lot of empty shells.

WHY! I love food. I visited maybe 500 Italian restaurants. This is the best one as far as I remember. Definitely best in Sardinia. I could not believe how simple pasta could taste so well ! If someone diserves Michelin stars, it is this place

Not even my words can explain how good the food is, every month it’s a surprise to know what delights there are in the new menu. It is one of the few restaurants where you can understand that the food is made with passion. Also the service is perfect, very reliable and kind.

We had 6 days in a row dinner in this restaurant. Roberto and Amadeo are very nice people and their food is EXCELLENT. We had 5 days different fish dished and once their steak filet and enjoyed them all. The service and personal attention they provide their customers is outstanding. We had every night a good bottle of Sardinian wine which was of great quality. A dinner with everything included will cost you between €35, €/45 per person, including starter/main dish/water/wine/desert and coffee. But it is really worth it's price. The food doesn't need an introduction. The restaurant has been there a lifetime, and they have mastered proper Sassari traditional dishes. The service, managed by three young ladies, is without any doubt the best you can get anywhere. They are attentive but not intrusive, make eye contact while interacting with the guests, and overall have an affable approach to the customers’ needs, a proper, chilled, professional restaurant experience rather than a feeding exercise, which is common in Italy. Really enjoyed.

One of the best restaurant we had the pleasure to have dinner in. Unfortunately it is necessary to book your table at least one day before. We were rejected twice because the restaurant was fully booked and we did not have the reservation. Traditional food is really good, great and fresh ingredients, generous portions. Good balance between cost and quality. The "Maialetto" is absolutely a MUST. Is is one of the BEST ever eaten in Sardegna.

We had a family meal here that was really nice. The restaurant was busy for a Tuesday night but we were seated to our reserved table promptly. The menu has seafood, vegetarian and meat options across all pages. The setting of the restaurant was slightly below ground with clean beautiful and brightly lit vaulted ceilings adorning our view. The bathroom was small for a restaurant this size (probably seats up to 100 people), but I find it hard to find much else to rate this restaurant down. There was a handful of children all very well behaved and the servers were very approachable and friendly. The bells of the old church were ringing when we arrived in the evening and we left with a big smile.

Amazing food – the pasta with clams and bottarga was one of the best I’ve ever had. Simple, flavorful, and perfectly coated. Also the Seada with honey, so good. Service was friendly and very attentive. They could maybe use a little boost on social media to reach more people 😉

Friday night, the place was packed but the service was still good. I didn't come here with the idea of eating a pizza but their gourmet pizza section was very appealing and the (forgot its name) pizza with courgette cream, caramelised red onion and buffalo mozzarella was a spectacular combination, on a perfectly executed pie. The Irish picanha with roasted potatoes was excellent as well (although a bit over market price in Sassari). However, no regrets. A great dinner.

Great food. The steak I had was really delicious, very tender. The tiramisu as one of my favorite desserts was a great choice, also delicious, 100% mascarpone. The patio inside is quite nice. Service could be better, as a foreigner staff kept talking to me in Italian even noticing I don’t speak the language, I managed to just pointing things at the menu (menu in Italian only also) but they could be friendlier or at least show some openness if they don’t speak English. A little bit overpriced but the food worth it.

I can’t accept they only get 4.3 right now, cause it’s much better than that, I definitely give this restaurant 10 out of 10, for their considerate services and amazing foods! We arrived and thought the place was cute and nice, sat down to order the waitress was EXTRA rude, we wanted our nachos and tacos first, she decided that no she wants to bring everything together which she did and we have to wait A LOT and had to eat the tacos and nachos cold! Also the food was TERRIBLE the meat was tasteless, nachos were old not crispy and the taco shell was soggy! And let’s not talk about the shitty desert! I would NOT recommend unless you want to throw away money! The place is super duper over priced for the quality of food.

I had a really disappointing experience overall. First, the tacos were completely bland—no flavor in the meat, just a huge letdown. Then came the hamburger, which was somehow served without bread. How does that even happen? A hamburger without a bun is just a sad pile of ingredients. On top of that, I had pasta the previous night, and even that wasn’t great. Overall, the food here seems poorly prepared and uninspired. Definitely not a place I’d recommend if you’re looking for a decent meal.

Good restaurant at Sassari downtown. The food was delicious. I’ve ordered some pasta and it was terrify. The tiramisu is wonderful and enough for two, don’t miss it. The outside seating area is very nice on summer. Staff was very friendly the only point was if took a long time to bring the bill. A place I recommend a visit while visiting Sassari.

The order of two pizza turned into a disaster. We put the order at 8PM, after the starter we had to wait until 9PM to get our pizza (including several requests which always got the same answers: it is ready, it is ready!). One of the two pizza was so salty (clearly too many anchovies and capers...) that it was impossible to eat. We informed the waiter, and despite the pizza was sent back we were charged for it. I don’t like to write a bad review I’m sure they tried their best but i like to be fair to others the pasta in this place was good but the steak we ordered was terrible. My friend had a diarrhea the next day because it wasn’t cooked well. Come on Sardinians you can do better…all the best ❤️🙏.

The outside was closed with a beautiful view on a beautiful day, inside is not very relaxing and good looking, very bare for a restaurant this price. We visited this restaurant having seen the food reviews and we loved it! Everything from the food, the service and the local no fuss atmosphere of the interior was just perfect!! Best restaurant in a long time. I think foreigners should come here to check how traditional cuisine in Italy was (I am italian). Gianluca and the waiters are very friendly. They are eager to talk about food, and we ended up talking about food with the other guests. That adds to the experience a lot, IMHO. We had vino della casa (0.5l for 6.5 euros) and it was amazing. But what matter most is: - we really ate vegetables (not like in a vegan restaurant where one mostly eat soya and cereals) - the menu was really different wrt other restaurants, some of the dishes belong to sardinian tradition and I had never heard of. This comment is also a cfitic to other restaurants. Of course crudites are great, but they are fashion, not tradition.and now every restaurant feels they have to offer them in the menu. Pizza is good, but not to eat every day.

Food quality average, even good, service acceptable and price reasonable but on the Saturday night we ate here the atmosphere was office canteen rather than restaurant. I’m surprised the waiters could keep up with the mess. The place packed full with people talking at the top of their lungs, long tables under the neon lights of the industrial warehouse, waiters running around like crazy. The exact opposite of a quiet meal in a cozy location.

We stopped here on our drive to Alghero for a late lunch based on great reviews. This did not disappoint. The pizza was some of the best we’ve had in Italy (and we’ve come annually for 10 years!). The server from Roberto and Daniele were great as well. Don’t miss the black crust for at least one of your pizzas. It is delicious. The deserts are also fantastic. Ps: come hungry!!

We got some pizzas to go and the service was great. The pizza was delicious, my only complaint is that they need more ferment on the dough. It's pretty bland. However, their toppings are great. A bit tricky to find but worth the hassle. Small restaurant, family run with a high standard for innovative recipes. Delicious food. I had the tuna frigoli and my husband had the swordfish ravioli. It had a hint of citrus that was astonishingly delicious! Kind and attentive service was just as wonderful as the chocolate cake!

Had the fish of the day, excellent wine recommendation and Seadas for the first time (loved it). Sent back and came back grey and well-done with no taste. One of the 3 of us received her main course aa the others started eating their starters. Then their main courses arrived when she had finished hers. No clearing of anything on our table nor the table next to ours long after they left. Undoubtedly the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in Sassari. If I could give a 0 for service, I would.

Had Saturday lunch, beef in red wine and light cheese sauce. Waiter smiled when I asked for rare. It was good and the house red was fine. Nice old style place I'd go again.

We came across this restaurant while walking close to our hotel. No reservation but they accommodate us at 8pm. The restaurant was absolutely full by 8.30. Frederica welcomed us and helped us to order food speaking good english. My soon had pizza margarita, my daughter penne with salmon and me beef tagliata with salad but I also ordered penne arbiatta. Tagliata was one of the best ever I have with meet perfectly cooked with sauce like port sauce. Arbiata perfect. Salmon pasta more salmon than normally expected and really good pizza and pizza bread offeeed on the side. Frederica was great waiter and the service was superb on a very hot evening! If in the area will return!

Very nice. Local family run. Very friendly staff, all in good humour. We didn't have Italian but some of the staff had English so no problem. The pizzas are really really good. Carlo the owner makes them himself. Really good value too and lovely wines. We are in the area for a few nights so will definitely return. Oh and if they offer some home made lemoncello try it, it's really good!! Not like any other lemoncello I've had in Italy. A+. Value and quality of food is really good.

My husband and I stopped by this restaurant on our way to Alghero airport, we found it through google maps. We were very happy with the service, that staff were friendly and very accommodating. They allowed us in at 6:30pm even though opening was at 7pm. They offered us an aperitif whilst we were waiting at no extra cost. The service was fast as we were waiting to board a flight within a couple of hours. Food was delicious and very keenly priced. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Dinner at Il Cenacolo was overall a great experience in terms of quality. The appetizers were varied, well-balanced, and featured excellent seafood. The price for the starters was more than fair, and we truly enjoyed them. However, the issue came with the grilled fish dish. The menu listed it at 20 euros, but it wasn’t clear that the price was per person, so the final cost came to 40 euros. The second issue was the portion size: quite small for the price. While the quality of the fish was good, it didn’t justify such a high cost, especially when compared to other seafood grills we've tried elsewhere. This should have been clearly explained by the waiter, both in terms of portion and pricing. It unfortunately took away from an otherwise excellent meal. That said, the staff was kind and knowledgeable, the location beautifully maintained, and aside from that misunderstanding, we ate very well. I still recommend visiting, especially for seafood lovers, but do ask for full details when ordering to avoid surprises.

We went there not knowing what to expect and we're absolutely blown away by these guys. They have put together different starters for us, I had grilled tuna and tuna tartar which I think was spontaneously done by them since I don't like other kinds of fish - it tasted perfect. Great place to enjoy some great Italian pasta! The Amatriciana spaghetti was wonderful, and as it is stated in their menu, the tiramisu was out of this world! The portions were also great for the price, and it was not as costly as other places.

I was looking forward to this restaurant and I was glad that my expectations were met! I was super happy to finally find pesto pasta in Sassari but overall Sardinia - which is one of my faves. It’s a good restaurant, the 4 formaggi pizza I’ve tried was really delicious. The problem for me was the service, quite slow. I almost felt forgotten in my table, I asked for a dessert and it was really forgot then when I was going to remind the lady she just said sorry and finally brought it. I would return for the food not for the service.

The waiter made an understandable mistake and discarded the leftovers we ordered to go. But the staff was horrible rude to solve the problem, they came to me to intimidate me. I had the seafood soup with mussels in a tomato marinare (gorgeous) with bread to mop up the sauce - enough as a main course. I then had donkey with roast potatoes. It's served as a thin steak still pink inside (so medium rare - western speak) and potatoes i couldn't have done better myself. Food served with fresh herbs and love. House red wine (0.5 ltr) excellent. Secada as desert with an expresso. A must visit for anyone wanting authentic Sardinian food. The quality of the food and experience is definitely better than Yumi Sushi. However, it is slightly more expensive and we felt deceived as the desserts were included in the physical menu with all other dishes (beverages were not on the physical menu) and only later we realized that they are charged additionally and we had to pay an extra 14€ for desserts we ordered, thinking they were part of the all-you-can-eat deal. It was clear from the start that beverages were not included. The menu on the tablet for ordering was slightly disorganized, as we could not easily find some dishes under the given categories like on the physical menu. We suggest to have the dishes simply arranged by numbers so it’s easier for customers to place the orders.

We went with 12 people and thought of having a nice evening. The weidress even gave us the advice to order with one phone so we all would get our food together. We came with a lot of expectations as the place is very recommended in the pizza world but unfortunately because of the horrible attitude of the slim tall man waiters we had the worst evening in Sardinia. Bathrooms without a lock and girls stuck inside of the woman restroom as the handle fell of from the inside.

Interesting menu with multiple options including peculiar Pancrock sandwiches; their pizza is very crunchy, a lighter version of deep-pan type, with lots of rich ingredients. Montana-Remi is an irresistible appetizer. Sadly the crust was too hard so I cannot give the 5*. Food is meant to be shared, so you should aim to order 2-3 different plates between 2 people for a full meal. Reservations are essential, especially over the weekend. Pricing is reasonable, 20% off for takeaway orders.

Very delicious food as tapas from a small family restaurant which has a different menu every day. We ordered 4 large meals and it was enough for us 4. The stew was definitely the best!

Excellent food! Apparently, the chef buys what's fresh from the market each day, and creates the day's menu. As a result the menu changes each day. It also makes a refreshing change from the same dozen-or-so dishes other establishments all serve-up. I felt the (utilitarian) central lighting didn't do the restaurant justice (unlike its brightly-lit, or cosily-lit competitors) but the food more than makes up for it.

I ordered an unfiltered 0.5 ltr beer and the clueless young waiter served a 0.3ltr normal larger....when the original waitress checked order she took the beer to get the correct one but I never saw the correct beer for about 30 mins after🤦‍♂️

Great place ! We ate at Miro during our road trip in Sardinia. We were passing through Alghero. We were welcomed and served by Marcello. I felt discriminated. I arrived there on a saturday evening all smiles to try some local sardinian food. They didn’t want to put us on a table even though there were free tables just because we were only two and the tables were for 4 or 5 people. When we got out, there was another couple who entered the restaurant and they found the space for them, but not for us, as we couldn’t speak italian. Really disappointing.

The restaurant is located somewhere in between huge buildings not really a cozy place to eat. Besides that it hot between these buildings even if you sit outside. No ac inside. The service was ok not really special, or enthusiastic/happy that there were guests. The pizzas were just not good. The bottom of the pizza was very wet and greasy and not crunchy at all.

The restaurant looks fine, prices are quite good, it is open on Sundays. Unfortunately we had a bad experience. We have ordered pasta with beef meat and pasta with safran, guanciale... It looked well but the taste and smell was bad. Beef meat tasted like from can or just rotten. Guanciale was dry, burnt, no sign of safran smell/taste, just smell of a very used old oil. Although staff was friendly and they excused, they also didn't admit any mistake on their side. Waiter suggested that maybe there was a problem with taste of pechorino. But sorry, I know how unique is the taste of pechorino and I love it. I had pasta with pechorino the very same day... We didn't want to pay any of pasta but after a bit of arguing we did pay just one of the pastas and I was not much happy with that. It's mostly the simplicity and freshness of ingredients which makes Italian cuisine so famous... Without freshness it's not working

This experience was amazing! We stumbled upon this lovely small restaurant. The chef was just standing outside and explaining us a bit about sicilian food. He tried his best with thr little bit Englisch he knew. None of us (5 people) had ever eaten it, so we have no comparison. The restaurant looks like a nice cosy home from the inside. Classic tabels, chairs and interieur. It was clean and simpel. Music of hits from all kind genres and years. We were the first customers of today. We asked the chef what he recommended. We like sharing food. He suggested a sort of tasting for us all with some adaptations for our vegetarians in the group. The chef was very thoughtfull and listened to our wishes if needed. The first dish were the panelle. A lovely snack with an anise twist. Sort of fried chickpea flower chips or cookies. Second was like a soft pizza. Nice taste. Third was fried balls filled with 5 different options meat and vegi. These can be customized. Nicely cruncy crust and soft hot filling. Fourth was steamed vegies in tomatensauce. Very good. Also for dipping in the bread. All plates were emtied within 10 minutes. No crumbs left. We had no favorite. All were delicious! Not to little and great size. Two big plates of pasta. Also eaten empty. It was simpel, great taste and pasta el dente. Just perfect! As desert Tiramisu (not with coffee but amaretto. Still possible with coffee though), semifriddo & cannoli. All shared and emjoyed, but the favorite was the tiramisu. Light, right size and delicious 10/10! If you like sharing food and something different from the standard Italian food, this is the place to be. Not expensive, great quality food and friendly owners. So definately worth it. With 5 people who drank water, cola, good house wine, 4/5 different starters, pasta and desert it was 111 euro. For me a little jewel in Sassari. Authentic delicious Sicilian food from a Sicilian chef who moved to Sardinie for love 35 years ago. His passion is cooking, which can be seen in his dishes. All in all it was a great surprise! We wanted to eat again, but unfortunately had to travel. Maybe one day we can visit this place again.

Absolutely delicious - way beyond our expectations. 10 mins up the hill from the station and we weren't expecting much as it's very well priced to say it's in a lovely setting.
