Great menu and location but expecting more. I ordered Grilled Tuna which I found not integrated to the rest of the dish. The meal included saffron rice and vegetables. Good wine and the service in general ok. There is a nice atmosphere at the restaurant, would be nice to come back.

I highly recommend Grona Stugan. Its an intimate restaurant with the most delicious food. I highly recommend the artichoke and duck soup. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and there was no long waiting time for the arrival of each course. I hope to visit there again in the near future.

The calf liver was excellent, very juicy and tasty. But the pizza, wow, it was terrible in my opinion. The price for the liver and the pizza were the same. The staff was very friendly. Also the atmosphere was really nice calm.

Food and atmosphere is lovely but for no reason I was placed upstairs even though there were plenty of tables upstairs. Waitress was also serving outside so she was hardly present. Had to go downstairs to ask to be served. Not her fault - she was nice when she was present. Only she wasn’t most of the time. Not sure I will be coming back

The service was good, and the restaurant was in a good area with the interior also being exceptional. The waitress was really nice, I have no complaints about her. Unfortunately, the food was one of the worst things me and my gf have ever eaten. For the price, NO WAY is it worth it. My total ended up being over $100 for a few things. The pasta we ordered (two kinds) were covered in grease and fat. I would not recommend this to anyone. The pasta is in the picture. I don’t remember exactly what it was called, but it had something to do with butter. We didn’t finish any of it.

Restaurant at a good location and with a cozy feel to it. So the potential is there but unfortunately the food was not good. Pasta Carbonara was literally floating in bacon grease and the stuffed chicken fillet was dry and had very little to almost no filling. In addition to ghat it came plated looking like a child did it. Waitress was baffled over us not being happy with the food.

We ordered delicious truffle spaghetti with asparagus. Good choice! 5 stars, but in my opinion everything is overpriced for Swedish province 😌 (270 for pasta)

Got high expectations after a great salmon tartar starter, main dish / steak did not quite live up to it, we both agreed the side vegetables were the best part of the course.

I lived at the hotel so when I se meat hanging in the lobby then you have to try the restaurant, and I'm glad that I did. We had a mushroom autumn entre that was amazing, and for main I had the porc. Just fantastic

We where there while they had their summer menu, which was somewhat limited in scope. But the burgers we got where very good, the fries as well. (Which they ought to be for that price) The service was good. The experience was all in all good but it lacked the little something extra.

The food was ok, but it didn't have that wow factor and for the price we paid I think it should've had more umpfh. It's supposedly a nice hotel, but nothing about the outdoor seating area felt special. It was ok, it just wasn't for me. It's okay! Food was quiet salty but it was fine. Nice and cozy place until the staff asked us for the tips( cause we paid by card). I didn't know if that was the tradition in this restaurant but it is not used to be everywhere i guess...by the way it was the new experience.

Very nice food from start to finish. Service is incredibly rushed and it's soooooo dark in there that we have to use our torches on our mobiles to see the menu and what we are eating. At no point any effort was made,done nor help offered to put a light on or move to the other part of the restaurant where it was brighter,despite hardly any clients dining. We felt like we were an inconvenience for the waitress and should leave as soon as possible....it's a great shame as we would have liked to read the story of the cellar and study the menu further,but hey!

I wish I could give more stars! My partner and I are vegan, and this might have been the nicest experience I’ve had eating at a restaurant that’s not exclusively vegan. The choice is much larger than I would normally expect from this type of higher end restaurant. You can tell that the people working there have thought about the customer experience, it was really pleasant. The food was so tasty too! I’m normally a fast eater but I tried to eat as slow as I could to really savour it.

It's very cosy and welcoming to be a basement. Got attention and was taken cared of directly inside the door. It's an atmosphere of "homemade" here. Even the hamburger and hamburger bred is baked locally. For it's price this place is considering to deliver great quality food with serviceminded personnel.

I’ve dined at over 900 restaurants in my life, and this absolute disaster of a place ranks firmly in the bottom three. Shocking. The food? Bland, soggy, clearly frozen – and then microwaved into oblivion. I waited nearly an hour before having to ask for my starter, which arrived stone cold. My wine? Warmer than a bloody teapot. Room temperature would’ve been a luxury. How this place has a 4.4 out of 5 rating is beyond me – it’s absurd. I’m genuinely appalled. I still felt sick the day after, just thinking about what they served. And don’t get me started on the ‘crisps’ with red onion and bacon crème – what in God’s name was that? It looked like it was slapped together by a toddler. Soft, lifeless, and absolutely vile. Disgusting from start to finish. If this is anyone’s idea of a five-star restaurant, I fear for their taste buds. Save yourself the trauma – avoid at all costs.

A perfect experience from the beginning until the end. 5-star service, really nice atmosphere and the food was truly amazing, congratulations to all the team specially in the kitchen! We will be back for sure. The oxfilé and the hallonkaka were delicious.

Tastefully decorated restaurant located in an old cellar. They serve basic but perfectly cooked food made from local and homemade products. (We haven't used the following options, but they even offer a vegetarian alternative for every headcourse, and they have a kids menu) They also offer various brands of whiskey, for the enthusiasts. Friendly and informal service with a smile. All together an excellent price/quality ratio. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

The service was nice and the atmosphere too. Nothing to complain about that. What bothered me was the food itself: both dishes we ordered were extremely salty! To a point they were almost inedible. Really disappointing for this price range. Edit: When we were leaving we told the waiter the food was a tad too salty and he replied “this food is salty” and promptly left.

The dishes are amazing and tasteful, some of the beers are from local breweries and the service was perfect !

Excellent food in wonderful and sometimes surprising combinations, an extensive winecellar with som good wine by glas. Friendly nd accomodating staff but maybe at times somewhat young. If you choose the fish with red win sauce do choose the red Beajolais and not the Chablis, please.

We looked for a friendly and easygoing environment for my mom's birthday (just me and her for dinner) and we could not have picked a better place. Food was fenomenal, and the service was exceptional. We ordered one of the 3 cours menues and added some extras on top of it, and the meats were increadibly tasty, cooked raw (as we asked) and the sauces were lovely. Mark (half Swedish half Italian) helped us throughout and spent lots of time chatting with us. We loved it all, and the experience was the best we could have hoped for. Thank you for making my mom's birthday so lovely!

Cannot believe all the good reviews. Our main course was RAW stir fry vegetables (red bell pepper, broccoli, baby corn) sat in a beef gravy like some confused attempt at Asian/French fusion dining. (Think Rachel from friends making a beef trifle) I had to google and ask my sister (a head chef) if this was a thing… it’s not. I’m just trying to work out if the reviews are generated by bots. I was also very uncomfortable watching the owner drag a waitress around by her wrist. All in all a very poor experience.

It was special eating with old friends we hardly ever see so we went expecting to have a good evening, but friendly and attentive service, a relaxed and welcoming environment and, not least, delicious food - especially recommend the hot platter scampi - and very reasonable prices made it an evening to remember.

Never had a good experience even after visiting four times over a four year period. Long waiting time, not more than OK food, wine is stored close to kitchen so the wine was serverd "hot".. Owner recommend us for our next visit to make reservations as these are more prioritized, seriously? Choose something else, anything we have tried in Kalmar is better.

Rather "Mistake house"; I wonder how its possible to run a Steak- house without professional chefs, or even someone proficient with enough experience to actually cook a steak fairly well, and still charging full restaurant prices. My daughter and I sat down and orders two different stakes from the menu, top cuts, but they were both fried seriously wrong. They didn't just miss that we asked for medium, they fried both pieces of meat completely wrong and in totally different end of the scale, one was overcooked, lost most juices and I suspect half it's size and were really boring. I ate it despite of it, as I was ravenous hungry and didn't want to make a fuss for a possible standalone situation, but the second steak was served almost raw, just with a bit of color on both sides, yet uneven cooked. I have never in my life, even at 18 and just moved away from home, cooked steaks this bad, I don't know how it's even possible. At this point I call over the waiter and we are offered a replacement, which we at this point we daughter lost her appetite as she politely tried to eat a bite of two before realizing what the problem was. Sure mistakes happen, but not for both steaks, and not such extreme cases, its not ok to serve food made by amateurs and especially not if you charge full price like the decent places does. In all fairness it should be mentioned that manager/owner offered my daughter a free dessert and didn't charge for her (me) steak, I did tell that mine was also cooked poorly but that didn't register and I paid full price, since I actually consumed it I didn't object, but we visited McDonald on the way home If the meat was cooked well, I could perhaps overlook all the noise from people yelling in the kitchen (and the smoking in the kitchen as well, REALLY!) just a few meters, added to the negative impression IMHO. OVERALL DISAPPOINTED!

The staff was very kind and friendly. Not every word in the menu was translated to English. But our food was excellent! Really good taste! Not cheap but sometimes a good meal worth it! Absolutely recommended! Go there and enjoy it!

Food was hideous. I would never recommend this restaurant, whole lot of kung laos running around like little rats. I saw the food when I walked in. DEVIOUS. Looked like rabbit poop. I’m sitting on the toilet in excruciating pain after eating their so called food. This should be illegal. Go to Thai silk next door. Saw some rats behind the counter. Don’t make a mistake to come here.

This restaurant is one of the best Chinese restaurants I have eaten in outside China. The food here makes me happy. The service is always friendy and fast. It is always clean. And most of all, the food is delicious. The attention to detail is amazing. I hope covid-19 is soon over so that my dad can travel to Sweden and I can take him to eat at this restaurant.

Normal pricing for buffee. Food is good. Dessert (ice cream and deep fried banana) included. Drinks are as much as you can drink, but all off-brand. Overall my favourite Chinese restaurant in the city.

We ordered different dishes, the meat especially the chicken and the lamb are really nice and well grilled and extremely tender. Highly recommend the dishes here and not salty like most grill places. Highly recommend the restaurant. It’s probably one of the best halal restaurants in these parts of Sweden. I would only recommend that they improve in cleanliness especially keeping the toilets clean and the sinks area. Otherwise highly recommend the restaurant especially if on a long drive!!!!!

I was surprised by the quality and taste of food. Soft and juicy lamb stek and chicken kebab. Good place to stop over on a trip to Öland. I must say I had to stop over again on a return trip from Öland! Food taste Merhaba !!

The food was just wonderful. I got the seafood basket. My friends had some smoked fish delicacies / delish/ and oysters. Kids had fish an chips. The restaurant has a confusing location. We almost missed it. It is right next to the parking lot. It was just very weird to have such a nice restaurant in such a place. You also get views of the park, the moat and the Kalmar Castle - just look past the parking lot.

The room is above average and should say staff are friendly. Breakfast is good but hotel needs a renovation . I have been requesting for bedsheets to be changed but indeed no action was taken. It has been my 5th night and booked here for 10 days. For the bathroom needs air freshener... Overall ..I am happy with the staff but not been too difficult...as I am not demanding like Asia standard her. I still have 5 more nights here. Location is quite good but no view if you are expecting. Sincerely hope to get the bedsheets changed and the bathroom room needs air freshner

Bathroom Was Smelly, there was someone’s hair(s) and lots of them; there was a bug on my bed (but it left). The location is nice because it is connected to a burger king and next a mcdonalds and an IKEA And an Asian express plus connected to a mart. Uncomfortable but nice environment.

for the price the experience was terrible. the room didn't have shampoo. it's next to a petrol station so cars are running all night. the breakfast was terrible ( really bad) they had the same bread out for the 3 days we were there. staff were nice though and helped us out.

Restaurant located strategically with ample parking possibilities. The menu offers something for everyone. Prices are acceptable but a little bit on the high end for my taste. Dining area is quite spacious.

Good Wi-Fi, quiet atmosphere, comfortable chairs with electric plugs, I was there with my laptop and had a great day. They have many vegetarian options and promotions for breakfast if you order before 11:00.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Extra points to being open on Sunday in an otherwise pretty much dead city. Nice Latte Machiatos and saffron buns. Our boy enjoying a huge hot chocolade with a generous topping of marshmallows. He was happy and so where we. Very nice place, easy to recommend.

The food is honestly mediocre and there are definitely better Asian buffets in Kalmar as it is, so this one is a hard pass. Our visit was also soured by the fact that a person in the personal thought it appropriate to try and get the number of my spouse, even though we were eating there together. Find it kind of a bad policy that the personal are standing about "checking out" their costumers, gives an honestly creepy vibe.

I wasn’t impressed by those, I expected more. Staff was very friendly but the execution and quality of burger was 2 of 5 value. Bread was saggy. Burger patty was from meat with OK quality but it wasn’t cooked properly. It was overly greasy, literally 2 table spoons of greasy left in the paper wrap. There was issue with sit places, cleanliness in the restaurant wasn’t on level either. Overall I don’t think I will visit again, when I’m in Kalmar.

Good burgers, but don't understand their ordering system, ordered online, got a number, went to the resutrant and they where 25 numbers a head of my normal burger order. But mine still said in que.. A bit annoying and made me wait 25 min.

The sushi is a bit up and down in quality unfortunately, but when they get it right it's really good. Avoid rush hour and you will usually be fine I would say. Sometimes it helps to order in advance it feels like the have the option to put some more time in it then but might just be a coincidence. Usually don't do mayo on sushi but theirs is great, a bit small but good. Had to ask for eating sticks, and there's no napkins either so that could improve. Sitting there isn't great tho, it's really small so for 2 ppl it works fine, when you are more it becomes a little tight.

Ate lunch here during beginning of Juli with a lot of tourists around. As custom in Sweden a special lunch deal was available. I chose to have the salad with ranch dressing, avocado, roast beef, eggs and more for 99SEK (€10,-), water and coffee with cookie included. Took the waiter more than 15 minutes after giving us a table to take our order. After that another 10 minute wait for serving our drinks. Decent portion size, good taste and fresh ingredients made up for the long wait. Really worth a visit!

The ambiance was terrible, there was a ladder just lying there and just a bunch of junk everywhere. The staff was pretty friendly. But not friendly enough to make up for the 30 minutes that it took just too get our food. Which if you ask me 30 minutes or more just to get food is unbelievable. And to top that of the food wasn’t even good, no it was terrible. The kebab meat was worse than supermarket quality and the fries were undercooked. And don’t even get me started on the side salad, the vegetables were bordering on rotten. My daughter got chicken nuggets which she didn’t like. Shes usually not a picky eater but how can you mess up chicken nuggets for a child? The prices were pretty good but for the experience I would definitely recommend avoiding this place.

The worst and one of the most expensive vegan hamburgers I ate in my life(and I have tried many)! I have received a hamburger with a bread that was hard like stone, I literally could not bite in it because it was clearly so dry and not edible. When I pointed this out to the staff, they didn’t want to help first, saying that this is the only bread which doesn’t contain milk. After I insisted on getting new bread, they brought out ONLY a bread. Needless to say, when I put all the stuff in the new bread, everything was dry and cold as the dry and unedible bread has soaked in the ketchup etc. This is unacceptable especially for nearly 300SEK!! Moreover, the service was awful and nobody seemed to care about anything. We have asked for water 5 times before we finally received it. Despite this, the staff was behaving like they are doing a favour. The restaurant is nice but the experience was catastrophic which affected my graduating celebration with my family.

Booked that place for a nice evening out and …. wow, actually it was even better than expected. You enter the restaurant & you feel immediately welcome. Food is just fantastic, staff is competent, very friendly…. our group just enjoyed the evening out. And the icing on the cake is the fantastic Gin Menu 🤩🤩🤩 For us a long way to drive but Slipkajen is definitely worth it. Thanks a lot 👍

Awesome place and great menu selection. Great views for Kalmar. Locals told us we had to get the creme brulee. I've had a lot of really good desserts in my life and a lot of them have been in Kalmar. We all ordered it and my god all 6 of us were floored at how incredible it was. Best dessert I've ever had hands down. If you don't get it that's on you.

I love this place, great environment, top quality food and amazing service. By far, my favorite restaurant in Kalmar. And don't miss the breathtaking sunset view on Ängö! My only complaint is that during winter it opens only THU-SAT in the evening, otherwise I would go there more often ;-)

Needed somewhere good for a meal after the IRONMAN Welcome and Briefing as when working, we dont get to eat the meal in offer at the venue. Slpkajen was recommended and it was great. Kept things quick and easy and ordered the hamburger, was excellent. Great spot. Check it out

I went to their lunch buffet in both weekday and weekend before. Both has similar main dishes available. Their weekend lunch buffet has more desserts and fruit choices to choose from, and more sushi and meat variety. I love their milk pudding.

Used to be amazing. Is now rather bad unfortunately. Bland tasting food and bad service. We had issues with our food being freeze dried, service didn't even say sorry. We had to ask 3 times for compensation and got 10% eventually after defending ourselves for their bad food. Still not a single sorry or sign of them taking ownership of their mistake.

When we arrived it was only 2 couples in front of us, untill it be our turn to go to our table we need it to wait like 20min! We had book table one day before btw. Anyway when we was ready to order the Application did not work to take our order throw. As its seems its having a bug on iOS devices. If you have not set your time to 24h instead. How is this even possible that the developers do not update regularly their APP. As that restaurant works with an APP. 0 stars on that. The food was good and tasty. So some points to that. But portions is small as its tapas place. Prices i think at my opinion is a bit high. On food and on regular drinks. I really hate and dislike the 10% tips on the check out in the APP when you are about to pay. As the service is doing totally NOTHING and also is slow.

Using the app for booking, ordering and paying is a really interesting concept. It removes the need for waiting staff which especially in sweden is very expensive. The food is tapas with a modern Swedish look and feel. The kids love it because they can order several small dishes. Food tasted good, was well presented and took about 15 minutes from placing order to it being ready. Restaurant was tidy and clean and the little contact we had with the staff they were all friendly and courteous. Only negative was that a second drink we ordered did not arrive and we in the end cancelled it due to the 20 minute wait.

This summer, we've visited several Pinchos locations in Sweden. This was unfortunately the slowest of them. It took a long time to get drinks or food after ordering. There were also three separate kebab dishes on their limited.menu. Was there a sale on kebab meat in at the market?

Dark and very kitsch environment. Food, wasn't great but only acceptable. Cocktails were also okay. I guess the concept is OK, but the poor app (yet another to install!) and the not so fast food delivery makes it not so enjoyable. And then there's the absurdity of having people moving around in a closed environment without windows in Covid times (but all of Sweden seems to be deliberately ignoring the pandemic!)...

Fun way to eat with ordering with an app and eating small portions with your friends. Alcohol free drinks are pretty delicious. If you want to find down sides, it's a little on the expensive side. I could have taken some food that was a little fresher like a sallad or something. All in all, I'm pretty sure I will visit this restaurant again.

This is a very cute, typical little restaurant with great value for money. The waitresses were very friendly. As an Italian, I ate divinely and really appreciated the small vegetable buffet, the free coffee, and the complimentary water. I strongly recommend all tourists to stop by.

They keep changing their lunch menu on the webpage, and it does not match what they are serving. On Friday it said they would have one dish on Monday, and then when you look on Monday is something totally different... And their signature dish "Smörgåstårta" have been quite a disappointment the last few times with loads of butter and very little mayo, same goes for the meatballs. The pizzas are still nice tho.

Best pizza in town - Calabrese 🔝. I do recommend for lunch pastasalad as well 👌. Really nice place overall.

Worst restaurant ever. Do not eat in this restaurant waste of money and time. The food was not good and very bad service. We ordered steak from the menu but only to find out it was not beef steak it was celery. The waiter did not tell it was vegetables, so weird they put the celery in the beef menu. Steak was too small with burned brocolli. Whoever the food chef im not impressed. Revise the food menu with description english version and improve the food presentation. I’ve travelled 33 countries so far this is the worst restaurant. The price is expensive for a low standard restaurant.

I had ordered the Panko Schnitzel, with regular mixed salad instead of the Melon Feta salad (weird combination to begin wi). Instead, I received even more of the melon salad no fries. Apparently the chef thought I just wanted more salad, even the heard the waiter asking for the right thing. Unfortunately the waiter brought it out anyway and then tried to make excuses. The Schnitzel was a pre-frozen piece of meat, the fish and of my partner was also frozen and totally overdone. And we were the only able!!! We left pretty quickly and will not return.

We wanted to enjoy the afternoon in Kalmar over some drinks and nice meal, but were invisible to the staff. We were sitting for about 20min waiting to be served, but could not get hold of the staff, while others arriving after us were being served straight away, especially the regular and familiar faces. The idea of ordering via a qr code works for those who have phones with full battery and enough mobile data to download the app, which was not the case with us at that moment. It would be great if the staff occasionally goes around and cleans/wipes the tables, and checks the seats, as some birds decided it is a great toilet. The only good thing about the place is its central location.

We came in for a quick late lunch as this was the closest place to our accommodation and I'm so glad we did! The burger was fantastic. Juicy, mouthwatering, in a perfectly soft bun. 5 stars! The fries and truffle mayo were also delicious. Service was very friendly.

The table beside us ordered after us and got their food before us. Every table did. The food tasted nice, but not worth the 1,5 hour wait. This bar and restaurant is quite literally built into the old city walls of Kalmar, which in itself makes it a very interesting place to visit. It has vintage furnishings and gives a similar vibe to a pub, meanwhile the food is excellent. Wasn’t sure what to expect in this little hole in the rock place - this is a refurbished old guard watch tower converted to a cool restaurant with unique character and eclectic collections of old camera; adding machine and other paraphernalia. And even more importantly was the food was quite good - goulash / beef stew amazing, salad with walnuts and cheese excellent and the cheeseburger was superb with nice seasoning on the handmade patty. The server was welcoming and helpful. Definitely recommend this place

Charming ambiance with cozy location. Unfortunately the wine was disappointing. Also, the service was distant, which contrasted with the inviting atmosphere. The bathroom was in a different building with a code and there was some storage there, which was odd. Enjoyed the setting, but improvements in wine selection and staff hospitality are needed for a truly great experience.

A very nice restaurant, from the franchine O'Leary's. You can watch a lot of sports games, and when we asked they even checked for us if they had a specific game. The food was also very good. They have a place to sit outside and watch games, as well as American-styled booths inside. We had a nice time.

This cafe is located possibly at the most unique place in Kalmar, even if it is next to the busy entrance of the port , the front side has a view to the strait of Kalmar and to the west to the castle. This fact is a big plus for me comparing to all other cafes in town.

I've been there a couple of times and it was very nice with very good sandwiches (the one with salame and brie especially). Yesterday was instead disappointing, I've ordered a sallad with burrata and I received a normal and poor quality mozzarella with onions and tomatoes. I don't like when restaurants claim to serve italian food without knowing it, they should change the name of the plate or at least serve a real burrata.

We had some great after work dinner, there was a buffet with popular swedish food that, since I am just few months in Sweden and I haven't developed real taste experience on the local cusine, was at least good for me. The personnel is friendly the atmosphere cosy and the price for the buffet and a beer I would dear to say extremely cheap for the swedish standards.

The place used to be my go to but the decore has changed and lost a tad of the rustic feeling. Same with the drinks menue that has shrunk significantly. Also kind of an unprofessional impression when a sign at the entrance says "no one under 20 years old" but a kid of 9 years was sitting there with two othet adults, all I can guess is that it was the owner of the place or something so they could thumb on that rule.

Got a take away sushi menu from here. Chose to get the chef's special coming in at about 110 SEK (about €11,50), which isn't cheap for 10 pieces of sushi. All the sushi's were freshly prepared at the spot, so I had to wait a few minutes. During waiting you get take a cup of miso soup, or choose to put it in a plastic take away cup as a starter to the sushi. This was included in the price yet nowhere mentioned. The chef's special consisted of; 2 salmon nigiri, 1 shrimp nigiri, 1 squid nigiri, 1 tofu nigiri, 1 tuna nigiri and 4 pieces of (the same!) uramaki. Ginger, (fake) wasabi and soy are all included.

This sushi is very good. Unparallelled as of yet, at least in Sweden and in the parts of europe I've visited up until now. Only one place in Sweden has beaten Kama Sushi this far, and that's Take Mikado in Östersund.

I have tried sushi here again now that they have moved. The service is rude and the sushi rice tasteless. In my opinion this is definitely not worth the money. The sushi counter in Ica Maxi is much better quality sushi and cheaper.

We went there to get a quick dinner. Unfortunately, they started a music quiz just 20 minutes after we arrived, so it was quite loud. Anyway, that was not the bad part. We ordered a Greek salad with cheese and the kids burger meal for our daughter. The salad's dressing didn't have any taste and the burger patty was disgusting. I really think it was bad, not just my and my daughter's taste... We gave the feedback and then were happy to be out again..... Sorry guys, that was just our experience.

Went here in a vegan meeting. There is not a lot of choices for vegans, but one of us had rang ahead and so we got to choose from several delicious choices. There were a couple of larger groups there at the same time and so the wait for the food was pretty long.

Nice place to just hang. I've been to a few "Harry's" bars now (Karlshamn, Copenhagen Kristianstad and this one) and this was my favorite by far. Downstairs was like an arcade with air hockey, pool, wack a mole and even a bowling course! Best bar so far!

The burger was okay but the it was in my opinion to overpriced. The burger was very small. The staff was very friendly.

Today was the first time i eat here and may i just say i have been missing out the burger here was so damn good i wish i had another one when i was done, the fries had such good grunchy taste too them. The atmosphere in the restaurant was perfect. I give a 10/10 to the food 9/10 to the service and 10/10 to the atmosphere inside the restaurant. If you love burgers and you don't mind spending a bit more this is the place for you.

I had the Koriander burger, which was nevertheless good and rewarded me for my choice, the taste was definitely out of the box as I wished it to be, also the patties were professionally cooked. Though I think the establishment is a bit expensive even for the swedish standards, after all it is about burgers and french fries

Was out of ground beef, but was offering chicken and halloumi burgers. Service was terrible. We had to remind them about our order after over an half hour. About that time they served our drinks. Took about an extra 20 min for the food. One of the burgers was not what we ordered. I totaly understand that they missed our orders. But with no explaination they left a bad experince. Sure they took some credit on the bill. As Said. Service terrible. Burgers mediocre and overpriced.

The interior is nicely decorated and the personal was very helpful but the food was below awful. The hamburger I got was drenched, literally drenched in fat. I didn't even eat the top burger bun because it was shimmering with grease. It was so bad that that I dare say I've seen less greasy burgers on big hamburger chain restaurants. How do you even get a burger bun oily? The burger itself was dry and tasted nothing at all, even though it had more or less been covered with pepper. My partner tried the fries with herbs and cheese and it was the same there, when pushing towards the fries with a fork it turned into a soft oily mess. I really can't recommend this place, the prices are super high, specially for a hamburger restaurant and to pay well over 13 euros for what looked like something that someone had dumped a bunch of oil on was simply a terrible experience.

The place costs about 125 SEK per person for the buffet. There is just OK meat, older fries, canned pineapple and peach as well as soft drinks, coffee and pies and biscuits. The staff are friendly, warm, welcoming and keep the place clean. It is acceptable in my opinion food wise but the washroom could use better cleaning.

It offers a self-service buffet with a variety of food, a mixture of Greek, Swedish and Asian. It serves bread, rice, several types of salads, several portions of fish and meat and a dessert buffet. The price is relatively fair and service is kind.

Dry food, also for a major part of it not hot anymore. The desert was not diversified at all, everything tasted the same, like sand. But good diversity of sauce, many ketchup.

I can not say anything positive about this place. The food /meat/ tasted like it was prepared the day before and re-heated for Saturday lunch. Only the potatoes were eatable. Not worth visiting!

The buffet (can't speak for their al carte) is pure garbage. I couldn't whip together a tsatsiki that bad even if I tried. This restaurant gets 2 stars because I'm giving Zorba the benefit of doubt that their Al Carte just might be worth our hard earned money, and their bathroom was nice. For 110 kr I was expecting something edible beyond lettuce and garlic bread. No complaints about the service.

This place has very good grilled chicken, tje fish is also bonus, potato, sauces, salad, baguette, fruits and cake as the finish. Well worth visiting. Free toillett and Wifi. It's in center of the city and it's one fine restaurang that I would recommend to everyone. The parking is lottle bit away and you have to pay for it which is why I gave 4 stars.

I'm from the southwestern U.S., and I know tacos! These were really, really good. And the margarita was superb. Shaken, not on the rocks! Well balanced, and pleasingly frothy. The only downside was the stale, Tostito (?) chips, and no house-made refried beans. Those are two key elements that would have made this place perfect. My server was friendly and efficient!

The food was so bad and we have to leave it. We ordered two tacos and wanted to try chicken and beef and both of them feel like it was too old and it even smells so bad. We actually tried before and did complain to the one on the reception and we thought it would be fixed because it’s an easy fix but nothing has changed.

It was a nice place for lunch. The food was fine and tasty. If you are vegetarian you should look for the green menu. They have lots of different vegetarion options. If you want to drink a cocktail but are not in the mood for alcohol I can recommend the nonalcolic pina colada. I was a bis sceptical but the taste was really good.

Recently opened and trendy new Mexican restaurant. Paid about 120kr for four "grande" soft tacos with chips and guacamole. My friend got the mix plate that includes a hard taco and an enchilada for around 90kr. The enchilada was really good! There's a salad bar as well. Great place to get your Mexican food craving filled.

IT took us more than half an hour to order our drinks. Our food was served cold and it was not fresh. Looks like it was heated up in the oven after getting out of the fridge. The staff was oké, they tried to do their best but they looked like they didn’t have any experience. The chef brought our food but was very rude because I didn’t understanding her.

The pizza looked very very bad. But it tasted good. The local looked cheap and it was cheap. I won’t go again, there are many places where you can eat better food. The local doesn’t have Wi-Fi, we needed to steal from subway.

This is an Asian restaurant although you can't tell that simply from the menu. The owner was nice, especially since we came in about 40 minutes prior to closing on a Monday night. We had the place to ourselves. I ordered the chicken breast and my sister had the black and white on a sizzling plate (pork chop and steak). She said the beef tasted spoiled, but the pork chop was good. My chicken breast was flavored with five spice powder and was huge, but had a very odd, spongy texture. Either it was marinated in a brine for too long or it was processed chicken. The veggies were plentiful but tough. Our two meals with water and a Coke came to 53 krona. I cannot honestly say we got good value for our money.

The place needs some fresh up. A bit old style. The portions is good enought if you are hungry. The staff was unprofessional i can tell. The food dint delay to come, but we got wrong desert. The food tastes was not as good as it looks. A bit expensive.

Terrible experience. Do not choose this restaurant unless you are a group of at least 15 people. Below this number, the managers will do everything to make you leave on the pretext that they will not be able to serve you in a reasonable time. And if you insist on asking for service in 1h30 maximum, the managers will tell you that you are less important than a group and will tell you to leave. I travel a lot around the world and I have never seen such behavior towards customers. And the height of disrespect, you will be forced to pay for your drink if you have already ordered. We had planned a special dinner night with friends and by chance discovered this restaurant. Though the place did not look posh, it had accomodation for big groups which is exactly what our group needed. The menu has diverse options and the quantity extremely filling. The staff was patient and helpful and helped us by explaining what to expect from our ordered food. The staff also helped one of our strictly vegetarian friend's by offering a dish beyond their menu listing. Thank you for making our trip to Kalmar memorable.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Kalmar! It was so good we went to eat there twice in 3 days ! Authentic korean food, lots of vegetarian options and the kimbap was 😍! The people managing the restaurant were also adorable. If you are in Kalmar and look for delicious food without paying a fortune, this is your spot!

Had the veggie kimchi stew, it was a 10/10! I had missed 김치찌개 so much since leaving South Korea in June and this was just what I was craving! Lovely owners and delicious authentic Korean food. If I’m back in Kalmar anytime soon I will definitely pay another visit.

The 'Ramen' tastes and looks like it comes straight from a cheap package like u get at the supermarket (as many people before me have observed). The 'vegetables' were exactly like the unidentifiable small dried crumbs that are typically included in such a package. Comes with a pathetic piece of cooked chicken. They probably bought this at the supermarket for 20 SEK, and sell it for 120 SEK, indeed that's a good margin. What a scam.

A must visit place to eat in Kalmar. I never had Korean food like this. My favorite is the Kimchi fried rice with chicken. Very friendly owner and excellent food.

Atmospheric cafe, that feels like visiting someone’s grandparents house. Unpretentious and rustic place. Understanding the menu was a bit challenging without native level Swedish language skills, but we managed. ‘Stor ost macka’ aka basic cheese and vegetable sandwich was nice.

When I got to this place, it was packed with people. And it wasn't even a weekend day. Despite the small sized kitchen and shaded dining area, Mister York definitely creates an authentic burger experience. I was joined by 3 other random people and they also all agreed that the burger experience is much better than Max which is across the street. If you're a burger-lover you need to try this place. The waiting time for your food might be long. But it's worth the wait.

These burgers are really good, nice and juicy meat with fluffy buns. I loved that they added a lot of pepper, suited perfectly and very savoury. What's even better with mister York is their staff, insanely passionate and happy to talk about their burgers. Just don't judge then by their truck :)

The bun was extremely fluffy and the beef patty was crispy but juicy. The fries were however pretty bland but kinda worked to complement the star of the show (the burger). We ordered ahead through the app but still had to wait quite a bit even after getting the message that the order was ready.
