On our first visit to Soma, we tried several dishes, including all-inclusive breakfast (1200 rupees), kimchi hash browns (600 something rupees), two fresh juices (400 each I think and just passable) and another customised breakfast plate (the portion was small), two cups of chiya (unremarkable). We paid 3300 rupees for the whole order. On our second visit, we got a simple customised breakfast and a dish of grilled chicken with brown rice and mushroom sauce. Overall, their food was tasty but menu is a tad bit pricey. However, the servers are great, exuding genuine courteousness and attention. And, the cafe’s ambiance is nice and relaxed. I would visit here again.

The Ambience is beautiful with both indoor and outdoor seating. We had breakfast with Egg Benedict and Buttermilk Pancakes. We loved each bite. The price was also reasonable. The staff are super friendly as well. We will definitely visit again to try other items on the menu.

This place is a staple for some of the best breakfast in Kathmandu. The atmosphere is clean and a bit posh, lined with shelves of books covering politics, economics, and pop culture. But the food. The food is so good. In particular is the eggs Benedict on their famous round hashbrowns. It is certainly one the top 5 best dishes in the valley in my opinion. If you need a place get some work done, host a one-on-one meeting, or enjoy brunch with your spouse then this is the place to be.

They recently shifted to a new place and its really nice, spacious and comfortable. Their cake is really good. The lemon meringue was fresh and fluffy! Although the double chocolate cake has been my favorite for a long time, it was a bit dry this time. Coffee is good. Staff are nice and friendly. They now have an underground parking, although a very steep one. Will definitely visit again.

The breakfast experience was exceptional. I savored the salmon Benedict, which stood out. Although I didn't venture into other menu options, both the egg Benedict and salmon Benedict were outstanding. Upon returning for another visit, the breakfast maintained its high quality, which is commendable. The fresh juice and coffee also lived up to expectations. As a regular patron of this restaurant, I've sampled many of their dishes. Whether after a doctor's visit or a puja, I often gravitate towards this spot for breakfast or brunch, and thus far, it hasn't disappointed. Every dish delights my taste buds. I particularly enjoy the kimchi hashbrown for its spicy kick. The burgers. Are awesome as well.

We had a delightful breakfast here! The ambiance is a perfect blend of greenery and beautiful plant murals. The service was warm and attentive. The coffee was smooth and just what we needed to start the day. We absolutely loved the avocado toast, perfectly balanced. The breakfast burrito was delicious too! While the coffee seemed reasonably priced, the breakfast portions felt a bit small for the price. A wonderful spot for a relaxing and tasty morning meal. Highly recommend!"

I recently had the pleasure of pairing a perfectly brewed mocha coffee with a slice of warm, aromatic cinnamon bread, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. While i wish the parking was more convenient but its a great place to just casually hang out with your friends

Kairos Cafe special breakfast was okay. I wish it came with veggies and better testing fruits served cold. The pear was bland, tough and grainy. Mango smoothie was nice. Blackberry/ raspberry refresher was unremarkable. It mostly tasted like surgery ginger ale. I would not recommend getting raspberry smoothie here. It looked deceptively pink but it overwhelmingly tasted like banana lassi. The cafe is pricey.

Awesome place for coffee and burger. But I can't give 5 star rating to this cafe as cafe is not equipped enough for family. Meaning, going with children and spending quality time is just a dream when you have smokers every corner. A proper designated smoking zone and no smoking zone would solve this problem, as we felt it is missing, I would rate 1 for atmosphere. Hope management team would note this critics seriously. Overall food and hospitality was excellent.

My friend ordered the regular latte and I ordered their special pumpkin spice latte as I was craving it for so long. I guess they forgot to add pumpkin so it would be only spiced latte. Had this combo meal and the chicken was still raw on the inside. Was served with a friendly smile and the were friendly

We had an omelette that came with cheese, bacon bits and veggies. It was tasty, however, it could have been cooked a little longer for it was a bit runny for our liking. The toast was pretty plain and unremarkable. They have a very limited breakfast menu by the way. We found their Sindhupalchowk Coffee way too bitter and below average. It felt like the staff did not provide us with enough milk we needed/ asked for to counter the bitterness of the drink. We paid about 700 rupees for those two items. We felt the place was pricey for what it provides. The overall ambiance of the cafe is relaxing, but I would probably not visit the cafe again.

The baked cheesecake here is amazing. However, the food doesn’t quite hit the mark, and the coffee lacks richness. A bit of a mixed experience overall.

Dhokaima Cafe has a warm, inviting vibe and a great selection of coffee. I loved the cappuccino it was rich and perfectly balanced. The pastries are a nice touch, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It does get busy, so seating can be tight, but it’s definitely worth a visit for a relaxing coffee break!

What a vibe…the girl who serving is super fast and amazing. Her smile and the way she deals with the customer is outstanding. I approached her and asked her name so that I can review the page…her name is Madhu pun Magar…she deserves a pay rise…

Good food, good ambience but a bit on the pricey side. Pizza is good. Brownie with icecream is a must-try dessert because their brownie tastes like none. Schezwan chicken chilly was average, got the taste of timmur and with a little crunchy texture.

Located at Jawalakhel chowk, Bakery Cafe spans two floors providing adequate space. However there is no parking and the atmosphere is not too fancy that will seem outdated for people like me and many of this gen. The service has been of utmost quality with no complain. One speciality of Bakery Cafes are majority of the staffs are differently abled so if we know the sign language, it's more easier. The food is of quality but on expensive end and will not justify the price point if we compare to the other places.

We ordered two drinks which were way too overpriced for such drinks. One was kiwi like refresher but they gave us with cucumber. When i asked for a takeaway the staff at the coffee counter was so rude and dismissed my request saying they are busy. Overall experience was poor never going back again

There are only a few places within Kathmandu Valley I know that once I stepped in will not disappoint me in terms of the food and the service they provide. The Bakery Cafe is one of those places. Whenever I am in one of the Bakery Cafe within the valley I always have one of the sizzlers or the momos. The taste always makes me go to my happy place. That is the magic of the food they serve here at the Bakery Café. I can always rely on them to serve me great food. And I love to keep going back for more.

The best restaurant in Nepal for momo and all their condiments are the best…..I am away from Nepal for 3 years now and suddenly remembered the masterpiece my favorite to go stop in Nepal….will certainly visit there once am back to Nepal……

Queens Eatery offers an impressive variety of burgers, which seems to be their specialty. I had the Hot Chicken Burger, and it did not disappoint—perfectly spiced and delicious. Alongside it, I ordered the Veg Nachos, which were equally satisfying, making for a great combination. While the food quality is commendable, there is room for improvement in terms of pricing, as the rates could be made a bit more reasonable for a wider range of customers. Another point to note is the outdoor seating area, which tends to be quite noisy, making it less enjoyable for those seeking a more relaxed dining experience. Overall, Queens Eatery is a solid option for burger enthusiasts but could enhance the ambiance and pricing for an even better experience.

had too much expectations, specifically with pulled pork burger, flavors are off and didnt please my palate. (4/10) bbq chicken burger was also just average (6/10) onion rings on the side were good tho. for the price point ive had better burgers, so they didnt quite amaze me.

I think it's one of the best burgers I've ever had. Simple, without too many spices, and the nachos were good too. The pulled pork burger was middddddddddd tho so dry.

The burgers are good and they have lots of options. Seating could be made more comfortable.

We tried their buff momo, buff sausage, and chicken chowmein. The momo dough was thick and chewy, keema was just meagrely flavoured, meat tasted just average, and chutney was passable. The sausages did not taste that great either. Cappuccino and mango lassi were average. The table we were sat was sticky and the room on the second floor felt stuffy.

Location is cute and the staff seemed nice. It is mainly a coffee and drinks place so food choices are sparse and the food was not good. The mint lemonade and Lassi, however, were very good with the former being truly delicious. Prices are fair and there is WiFi, but the upstairs lighting is bad due to LED flashing, which naturally makes comfort and reading impractical.

Sarang Bakery and Coffee is a great spot to take a break in the heart of Patan Durbar Square. Coffee, pastries, milkshakes, momo, smoothies and sandwiches- they have want you need to relax. Great atmosphere and great message. I love the quiet second floor space.

Cute little coffee shop just among the alley that leads to Patah Durbar Square, the recent boom of micro cafe in this place has sure given a typical tourism friendly n a clean chic look to the alley. The cafe it self is small n cozy with good service and quite some variety. Havent tried the cakes here though. Hope to one day test the floating words.

I have been going here since its opening and never have been disappointed. Its a great place to hangout with an amazing atmosphere. I frequently recommend this place to my friends while in patan.

Cute little gem! Entered the cafe just for a drink which was served within a minute or two. The staff, young lady was smiling and serving the customers. They even have WiFi!

Decent selection of bakery and great tasting coffee. On the first day, I got iced americano and it was strong, just the way I like it. Next morning, we got cafe latte & Oreo milkshake. Cafe latte was weak and tasted more like regular milk coffee. Latte could be better with more milk foam. The brownie was delicious though. And veggie pattie was fresh and melted in our mouths. Highly recommend this coffee shop if you’re in Patan Durbar Square.

I wanted to try their wraps but it's currently unavailable. Froied chicken burger and veg sandwich is pretty good Mint lemonade and viennese cappuccino was good too.

Good place for calm and relax coffee after work

I went here on a breakfast date the first time and I was very happy with the food. The seasonal fruit granola bowl was too good. The omelette was pricey but the taste very comforting. The second time I took my friends, they were a little disappointed. It might be a inconsistent, and mostly a hit and miss but definitely worth a try.

Good food and ambiance. It has no parking but inside you can find comfortable and open space. It has smoking zone. Some of the sandwiches are really good. Hygine is well taken care of.

I enjoy coming here to drink milk tea. The upstairs is very nice. The seatings r very comfy. They have heater turned on when cold. It's a great place to study or hang out with friends.

Loved the food and the atmosphere. This is the right place for everyone to hangout in a Christian worship environment. Haven’t found any cafe like Saathi cafe in the town. I would highly recommend Saathi cafe and love to visit again and again. The wait staffs are amazing, serving with smile and humility. My families loved all the food here and mine favourite was Carbonara Spaghetti, Saathi breakfast and Bolognaise pasta. Cheers.

There is a parking space at the side of the road, right infront of the cafe. Both indoor and outdoor sitting is available. The cafe looked very clean. The coffee is not up to expectation. All the drinks are served in the same style. There is no difference in the types of coffee. So I would recommend just cappuccino or americano. We went there for the breakfast. We ordered American Breakfast. The taste was great but the portion and varities of the breakfast was so disappointing for the price that we paid. I felt the place was very expensive for such simple items. We ordered pancake which was awesome. The place is ok for a one to one meet.

We thoroughly enjoyed Urban Press’ Margarita pizza. It was perfect with extra red sauce added. The dough was fresh and fluffy, cheese was layered amply and topped with a few basil leaves. Voila! A little pricey for drinks and meals but the service and ambience are worthwhile.

Was here on a Sunday night after seeing reviews. Most of the dishes like Momo, Mustang aaloo, sechwan sesame chicken, naan were average, specially the Garlic naan. However, Chicken fried rice was good. We went here on a wrong day. As the chef was on leave that day. Liked the setup, will like to try again, breakfast reviews and picture looks good.

In May 2023, over the span of two weeks, my bfriend and I visited this place almost every day. We used to order a lot of food, and the servers kindly asked if we were sure about our choices ahhah so sweet of them. This place holds a special place in my heart as it's filled with beautiful memories. All the employees I interacted with were incredibly respectful and sweet. There's one guy at the cafe who always made my watermelon juice, and I want to thank him for his attentive service. I will never miss this place whenever I visit Nepal. I have a suggestion - it would be wonderful if you guys could reach out to me.

On Christmas Eve, I dined with my family at this restaurant. While the food was lovely, the service was disappointing. We ordered a half bottle of whiskey priced at rs2,500, but the waiter suggested an alternative, which turned out to cost rs9,500, almost four times more. the house wine we ordered at rs2,500 was replaced with a bottle over rs1,000 more expensive. They even interrupted our dinner twice to photograph the wine bottle, which felt odd and unprofessional. We were finishing the last of our whiskey around 9:30 PM when the waiter abruptly took our drinks away. We didn’t cause any fuss during our visit, but it felt like they were trying to get rid of us quickly for no reason. The lack of transparency and courtesy ruined the experience. As much as we enjoyed the food, we will have to think twice before coming to dine here again.

Great food. Great ambience. Service was super fast. Meat lovers pizza was the best. Paneer tikka was bland. Drinks were super good. Advice to the management: I would recommend the kitchen staff and waiter to bring the next food only once the meal before has been finished. All of our ordered items were brought super fast due to which the meal got cold.

My recent dining experience was a bit mixed. While I appreciated the restaurant's atmosphere and unique architectural design, the food left something to be desired. Specifically, the tuna wrap was overwhelmingly onion-heavy, making it difficult to discern the tuna flavor. The spaghetti carbonara, on the other hand, was a decent dish. Parking was also a challenge, with only two car spots available, though there was ample space for bikes. A warmer welcome, like a smile when entering, and small gestures such as offering water upon being seated would make a big difference. I also had to press the service bell twice to get attention. Overall, it was a good experience and I’d love to visit again. With a bit more staff training and attention to service, this place could easily become exceptional.

I ordered a cold latte, strawberry smoothie, and pasta Bolognese, but the experience was disappointing. The latte had a bland taste, the smoothie tasted more like banana than strawberry, and the pasta was overly salty and lacked good flavor. Overall, the food quality didn’t meet expectations. The flavors were off, making it hard to enjoy the meal. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for well-balanced flavors and a satisfying dining experience. Definitely expected better quality and taste. However decorations and atmosphere was awesome. Quite place to hanout.

House 5 Cafe is a hidden gem that impresses right from the start. Its A-mazing !! Im a vegetarian so I didn’t have a lot of options to choose from yet I go there everrryyy now and then for their mushroom pizza !!! It’s soooo cheesy !! 900/- for THAT TASY pizza ??? Take my money!!!! The Venezuela hazelnut espresso is also one of my favorite from their coffee menu !! Good !! Healthy cheese !! The variety!! The taste !!

Not sure if the ‘Tea Bar’ is part of ‘Tea Bar & 3C Coffee’ in the same building but the Buff Khaja Set with a cool Gorkha beer was welcome anyway.

You can get varieties of tea and coffee from which my favorite is blooming tea. Such a good place to spend some tea time with your friends. Also loved their chicken pita, so fresh, juicy and simply tasty.

I ordered oreo shake, it came with lots of small hair. They blended oreo with hair strand as well. I felt so disgusted ewwww. The owner also didnt apologise. I am never coming here ever again. I don't recommend this cafe at all. 🤮🤮

They have the best chocolate mousseline cake in the town. The tiramisu was a bit sour. The ambience is really peaceful and clean.

The place is a little cosy place that feels like home. The selection of pastries and baked goods us wonderful. The cakes are super decadent and moist. The food and prices are both worth it. The entrance to the inside are a couple of narrow steps which adds to the cuteness and loneliness of the place. It's a place I would highly recommend you try.

Small clean place for coffee and cakes. Loved the cakes but the coffee was not as good. Highly recommend the mousseline cream cake- so rich and delicious, and highly discourage the unbaked blueberry cheesecake- the biscuit on the bottom was the only good thing about it.

Serves best coffee and bakery in Patan area. It's near Bhatbhateni, Pulchowk.. In my personal experience: It's written 30% off after bakery item after 7pm but they don't provide discount. Else everything is good - Parking - Good Ambience - Also serves bread, cookies and Bakery items.

Absolutely love the cheesecake and chocolate mouselline cake. They have very rich texture but melts when it reaches your mouth. They can even write up stuffs in pastry which is amazing for small celebrations with less people. Lovely staff and hygienic. They have stall in labim mall too, the cake pop wasnt much good though and tasted very sugarish.

Sweet Lil café, spacious & bright! We bought breakfast, a smoothie, a coffee. AND really cool artistic greeting cards and stickers for laptop etc. Busy café but lots of seating nooks to tuck away in & study/work.

I finally got to try this cafe this week and it met my expectations fully. You can tell how the owners have put thought into every detail, making this place so wholesome. Food is spot on as are the service (friendly and attentive) and ambiance (laid back, spacious and chic). The iced cafe latte was large and delicious. Even when the ice had melted, the coffee didn't feel watered down. The meat lovers omelette is perfect for Keto diet followers or anyone wanting a super protein boost. Fruit bowl had seasonal varieties that kids are sure to enjoy. The McMuffin and hash browns tasted exactly like the ones you find in North America and made me super nostalgic. The cafe is divided into areas with bar stool (perfect for focused work or solo reading etc.), normal seats best for socialising with friends and a large comfy sofa in the middle great for families or large groups. There is a rack for helmets, bags and other knick-knacks. And even though the cafe is street-side, it seems noise-proof. Bonus: The restrooms are super clean and well-stocked (toilet paper, handsoap and even a moisturising cream). My only regret is not finding this place sooner!

This little, cozy cafe is a gem on the south side of town. It serves as an anchor point for much of the international community, and has some delicious food with very friendly service. The McMuffin (pictured) is a staple, and the spicy chicken sandwich is a near replica of what you could find in a popular fast food chain in the States. The best part about this cafe is the friendly staff, though. Highly recommended, just don't be in a hurry 😅.

The salads are definitely my favorite. They also have great coffee and it’s a warm place in the winter season. The layout makes it a nice to place to meet with friends or family. The staff is kind and friendly. Check out their sandwiches too!!

My best cappuccino since in Kathmandu. Hot strong and creamy. We also had a Bacon sandwich and Ham sandwich which was fantastic. The buns were soft and slightly warmed. So so yummy..we enjoyed them very much. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The seating area out back is lovely, like sitting inside an old traditional house. Would highly recommend to others when in the area.

We tried their regular iced latte which was pleasantly strong and refreshing. We sat next to the cafe’s counter looking over to some lovely old building structures across the street. The servers are charming, friendly and courteous. We would visit the cafe again to try their cappuccino, cheesecake and tiramisu shake.

Good coffee, superb ambiance, and incredibly friendly baristas! The cheesecake was absolutely delicious. Tried the pour-over coffee – to be honest, it could have been better, but everything else was great. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee, read books, and spend quality time with loved ones. Definitely recommend!

The place is perfect 10, well manahed, clean and very kind staff and good service with free charging plug and free wifi also super fast internet. The pastry is just ok.

I came here for a good coffee and to use the space for some work. The ambience is lovely, the coffee is great, and the food is really nice! However, just a small feedback — I found it a bit difficult to focus, not because of customer noise, but due to the baristas chatting quite loudly. It felt a bit more like a casual home conversation than a work-friendly environment. Everything else was wonderful, and I truly appreciate the space!

This place is quiet, cozy and peaceful with plenty of space dividing table sittings. The tables are wide compared to most cafes around. I like the arrangement of group and individual sittings here. There are also books that are free to read if you are interested. Although the atmosphere was friendly the food was noticeably different and here is why; The Vietnamese coffee was not strong at all, it was almost like an ice latte. It is noticeable in the picture how light it is. The Cesar Salad was very salty perhaps because of the choice of cheese? The toasted white bread replacement of croutons were not crunchy but rather soggy. (I asked for no sauce and bacon so it might not look like a regular bowl.)

Beetroot latte was quite an experience 👌🏼 Loved the rice noodles as well.

Perfect for working and to hang out with friends to catch up over a cup of coffee. It's very spacious with a cozy ambience which has been decorated with lovely pieces. Couldn't try the food as their kitchen was closed. But the coffee, Hot chocolate was pretty good.

The ambience was perfect, it was calm, it was aesthetic and just on the right area for some great coffee. I love how they had setup the place with such magnificent furnitures, all comfortable and unique. The staffs were very friendly and joyful. As it was a newly opened place, they didn't have much on the menu. We ordered coffee~ which was ok, hot lemon ~a little sour than expected and a banana cup cake~ tasted more like homemade. Hope to see more on the menu next time we visit. Update: The place still has the charm. The portions of the breakfast seemed less and unsatisfying for the price we paid. The portions could be more or the varieties could be added. We did not get baked beans as well, though they were in the menu of Breakfast 3.

Amazing food, great view and good service. The drinks were spot on perfect. Loved the burger, it was juicy and had a unique taste, the chicken also had a unique taste and texture to it. The fruit fresher(or sth), hands down among the best mock tails I had and coffee was perfect. I am waiting to come there soon on the evening to sip their coffee and see the 360 Evening View of Ekantakuna. Definitely a very good place. The server who was not a waiter, he didn’t noticed the order and it was delayed as I had to mention tmit later again, apart from this, I had an amazing experience. Please clean the glass of the corner if possible 🤨

Superb Views of the Valley. A bit Congested. The Lights went off and they had NO BACK UP, so we dined in dark. Chicken Lollipop was okay. Chicken Sadheko was also simple. Chiken momo was good. The Caesar Salad was not uoto the mark (Who puts Onion Slices in a Caesar Salad)?

Great restaurant with good view. It is next to ringroad in ekantakuna next to gayatri petrolpump. They have got cafe and hukka bar and top view is awesome. Food is also great but in our order pizza was over cooked so it was extra crispy. Mustang aloo was something anyone should try out. It is awesome. Price and other service is at mid range.

Good food with fair price. The musical eve on Fridays with the city view from the rooftop restaurant are fun. The interior is beautiful, and the bar is a vibe! There's another floor too, where you can enjoy your food in a quiet setting.

Food👌 & View😍 One of the restaurants in town i would love to be at! It was one of the places from my itinerary list and now it has become a restaurant where i weekly visit to have a beautiful time. I was impressed by the ambiance here and also the city view is wonderful. Food here is honestly very good i have never been disappointed throughout my visits. Momo platter, Classic burger, Sizzler, Jhol Momo, Spaghetti are my comfort foods here! Price for food is also reasonable. Stafs are really friendly and service is also good. It used to take a bit time to serve at my first visits but its good now. They are progressing day by day and taking customers reviews seriously. I would definitely recommend everyone to visit this restaurant whenever they are around this area.

This review is for drinks only. Espresso afogato was awful and same goes for Iced mocha. Very disappointing.

Chill vibes and ambiance, good coffee and a place full of very warm welcoming people. I really had a good time here and I'd really recommend the BBQ wings of this place and also if you're looking for a place to hangout then this will be your kryptonite. Peace!!

Ambience is peaceful and cozy but foods were bland.. should improve on their food. Also they only have limited menu. And the food weren’t up to the price.
