Restaurant
Kafe Kampung Kaw is a popular spot in Port Dickson, just a short drive from Grand Lexis Port Dickson. This hidden gem attracts both locals and tourists, especially for breakfast. The restaurant offers delicious and reasonably priced local food that comes in satisfying portions. On weekends, it's bustling with customers who appreciate the delectable and visually appetizing breakfast options served by the talented chefs and kitchen staff.
1st visit during a long public holiday weekend. Long Q at the entrance..but waiting time is about 5 minutes only. Warm welcome from the welcoming staff, with smile and patiently arranging our order.👍👍👍👍👍 Food: worth what we paid. Saw previous comment about portion vs. price = the management revised the pricing. Well done. Waiting time for food: a bit longer since there are so many customers. According to my spouse, it was shorter time when she visited during normal weekend. Flies: these are not the typical which will lay eggs in the food. Am married to local PD and was disturbed by flies years ago. So don't worry. Kafe management provided portable fly fan on the table. Overall, the place is nice, the staff is friendly and the food is nice. Will try again during normal weekend.

I'm very satisfied having breakfast here. The food is good, the ambience and decoration is very calming and their toilet also very clean and smells good! But since this place is very popular so you need to queue a bit. So if you're rush, maybe not suitable for you. But i love it nevertheless because everything is systematic!

This is our go-to breakfast spot whenever we visit Port Dickson. Not only is the cafe lovely, with a wonderfully calming environment surrounded by trees, but their Nasi Lemak is truly one of the best. We've been trying it with various side dishes, but this time we went back to the basic Ayam Goreng (fried chicken) and it was absolutely good! The Paru Goreng (fried beef lung) is also chef's kiss, absolutely perfect. This will forever be our favorite spot every time we come to Port Dickson!

The next morning, we went looking for a good breakfast spot in Port Dickson. As usual, I checked Google for recommendations, and Kafe Kampung Kaw came up as the top choice. It was about a 16-minute drive from our homestay, a little far by Malaysian breakfast standards, but we decided to give it a try. The location is somewhat isolated, but the signage and direction markers were very clear. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised at how well the parking was organized, with clearly marked entry and exit points. The large number of vehicles told us right away that the place was popular. We were a group of seven, and a server quickly guided us to our table. The only small drawback was being given just two menus for seven people, ideally, four would have been better so we could share more easily. The ordering system was excellent. Each table is provided with a checklist menu to mark down all items, which you then hand over to the server. After our food was served, they gave us a printed checklist of everything we ordered. The server then went through it with us, checking off each item to confirm we had received everything. This was a really impressive step, and I wish more restaurants would adopt it, it avoids the usual problem of missing or wrong orders. We ordered a variety of dishes: my wife and I had nasi lemak, my mother-in-law chose nasi goreng kampung, while the kids went for soto, beef soup, nasi salmon salmon, and a few other items. Everything was served as ordered, and the food was flavorful and satisfying. The dining area was shaded and comfortable, with proper coverings, plenty of fans, and even portable air conditioners running. The wash area and restrooms were also clean and well maintained. Service was fast, friendly, and very organized. Combined with good food and attention to detail, it made for a great breakfast experience. Even the exit leading back to the main street was clearly marked, showing how well thought-out the whole setup was.

Had lunch here today. Food is okay, but the waiting time was more than 1 hour, so it’s not recommended to come during peak hours. Prices are slightly expensive for the small portion size. Customer service is average. The environment is clean, but since it’s an open space, there are quite a lot of flies around. Parking space is plenty.

Kafe Kg Kaw is a hidden gem that truly captures the essence of kampung dining with a modern twist. Nestled in a lush, rustic setting, the café offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for breakfast or brunch. The highlight is their Nasi Lemak Kambing Bakar—fragrant rice paired with tender grilled lamb and punchy sambal, a dish that alone is worth the trip. Their Kuih Gemuk (roti puri) with sambal sardin or kari kambing is equally delightful, fluffy and rich with flavour. After 10:30 AM, the menu expands to Western comfort food—burgers, quesadillas, nachos, even pizza—all served with a Malaysian “kaw” character. Service is quick and friendly, prices are wallet-friendly (most dishes under RM20), and the kampung ambience makes every meal memorable. It does get busy on weekends, so arriving early is best, and don’t be surprised by a few flies—the team even provides mini swatters at each table, a thoughtful touch. Kafe Kg Kaw isn’t just a café—it’s an experience. Delicious food, warm service, and kampung vibes make it a must-visit whenever you’re in Port Dickson. Truly kaw in every way!

Went here for breakfast yesterday with a big group of 18 people. The place was already packed when we arrived, so we had to line up. Thankfully, the staff were efficient. They asked how many of us, gave us the menu form to pre-order, and got a table ready. We waited around 35 minutes before they managed to clear and set up a space for all of us. I tried the kueyteow kambing, nasi impit goreng, and roti gemok with kari kambing. The kueyteow kambing had that nice charred flavour and tasted good, though the portion of kambing slices could be improved considering the price. The nasi impit goreng caught me off guard. It came coated in a gravy like mee or kueyteow goreng basah. Unexpected, but it actually tasted pretty good. The roti gemok with kari kambing was also satisfying. Price-wise, more on the cafe side but I appreciate the speed and efficiency of the staff. All in all, not a bad spot especially if you're coming in a big group.

Food’s tasty, portions are just nice, and prices are super reasonable….They’ve got a decent mix such as pizza (after 10.30am), nasi lemak, fried rice, congee, coffee, tea, juices, and a small dessert menu too. Flavours are pretty solid. Just a headsup though….parking can be a bit tricky.🤣😝😋

Located at Grand Lexis Port Dickson, Roselle Coffee House is a vibrant and bright cafe offering a comfortable and air-conditioned environment for breakfast or lunch. The all-day dining restaurant boasts an extensive menu of local and international cuisines prepared by seasoned 5-star hotel chefs. Known for its reasonably priced breakfast buffet with impressive food variety and freshness, the cafe also offers non-veg meals including chicken, fish, and seafood dishes.
Had a great experience at Roselle in Port Dickson! The staff is very customer-oriented, providing excellent service with a warm and welcoming attitude. The ambiance is pleasant, making it a comfortable place to dine and relax. The only minor issue was a few flies around, but overall, it didn’t take away from the enjoyable experience. Keep up the good job! Will definitely visit again.

Come here to eat free breakfast buffet. Honestly, I have a good experience here. They served a variety of foods- rice and noodles, vegetarian foods, snacks, breads, coffee and beverage, and even fruits! They will be a period where they will refill the foods, so don't worry if it is finished. The atmosphere here is cool with the swimming pool on the side. Service are good. Overall, must come here to take free breakfast!
Aaron G — Google review
I recently visited Roselle Coffee House and sadly, it was a disappointing experience. The chicken chop I ordered was far too salty, completely overwhelming the flavor. Meanwhile, the chicken itself had an unpleasant smell that made it difficult to enjoy. To add to the odd presentation, there was a single black "leg" on the plate, which the staff claimed was rosemary. However, it didn’t look or feel like the usual fresh rosemary—it was thin, sparse, and unappetizing. The environment didn’t help either. The restaurant was plagued by flies, which made for an uncomfortable and unhygienic dining experience. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend. The issues with food quality, cleanliness, and attention to detail need urgent improvement.

My best friend and I stumbled upon this gem while scouting for a nearby dinner spot. Let me tell you, this beef burger ranks among the best I've ever tasted, and it's sure to become a staple whenever I return to PD. The flavors were spot-on, and we didn't have to wait long. We even received complimentary fruits before our meal. We were so full that we ended up taking the pizza home! Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I'll definitely bring my family next time!
Maneshaa K — Google review
Ala carte menu during dinner. We were greeted by friendly staffs. They are concerned that we would need to wait long because they serve buffet for night as well. We were told, food waiting time about 40min. Not really a long waiting, food was quick and tasty. We were served complimentary fruits while waiting. On the other hand, if I were to review their buffet breakfast… hmm… variety is poor for a high class resort! Inadequate supply of food to meet the number of guests… I would suggest to allow other restaurants to serve complimentary breakfast as well… My star rating is supposed to be 5 for dinner because of the staffs (I think if I remember correctly, his name is Suman) and its Ala carte dinner menu. 1 star deducted is because of the breakfast, can’t find beef or lamb served (good for multi racial) and speed of replenishment is sadly too slow! If it wasn’t because of Benjo (loved his job, friendly and helpful), I would have rated even lower (deduct 3 stars).
Jevon C — Google review
Great variety of food for breakfast. Ranging from Western to Indian to Chinese to Malays🤗. Seating capacity is huge, with both indoor and outdoor poolside seating area. Food quality and service is good👍 too. Ordered their room service for a lunch, delivery time is acceptable and tasted 👌. Only downside might be the disposable cutlery for room delivery as I would prefer proper utensils😊 #msgreedysis #greedybuddiez
Yvontz T — Google review
We had a noodle, a fried rice, and a tiramisu for our room service. The wait was about 50 minutes which was okay for us. The noodle was good, while the fried rice was overcooked and some of them were very hard and had unpleasant texture. The tiramisu was very off and total disappointment as it didn’t taste anything like tiramisu.
Masaaki S — Google review
Food variety doesn't match the price. Rm128/person for dinner buffet, but limited food variety and quality, not refill on time. A beach side resort buffet no seafood. Compliment to staffs service which was good. 👍

Breakfast restaurant
Restoran K.R Mani Curry House is a popular dining spot in Port Dickson, known for its delicious traditional food and friendly service. Visitors often praise the tasty fish curry and reasonable prices. While it can get crowded at times, many find it worth the wait. Some suggest that the restaurant could improve by ensuring tables are properly sanitized before seating new customers. Overall, it's considered a great place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner when visiting Port Dickson.
Situated along a quiet and unassuming corner row of shoplots, this Indian restaurant seems to draw the crowds. The banana leaf rice was quite tasty, accompanied by a bowl of chicken masala on the side. We also ordered the roti sardine. Pricing was reasonable and parking was easy.
Andrew A — Google review
The worst food I’ve eaten in my life. Lousy breakfast tasteless and all the food was spicy especially the sambal from the nasi lemak. You can try at your own risk and it becomes expensive once they know you’re a tourist. I will never ever recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Saw this sign board while searching for late breakfast. Its already 11.30am,Just went myself to this restaurant and ask whether they still have breakfast. They told me they still had it. Food is decent with normal price. Clean enviroment and decent waiver treat us. Can try this place for good Indian food.
Jega K — Google review
Decent place for Indian food. Simple restaurant. Reasonably clean. Friendly staff. Affordable. We had their banana leaf rice which was okay. Comes with 4 veggies, appalam & very yummy rasam. Wish the curries were richer. Freshly made Chicken 65 was juicy & tender. Highlight has to be the tripe curry. Made well with lots of flavor. Overall nice place for a quick meal.
Subendra T — Google review
Just don’t waste your money. Tasteless. Just look at the curry.
Jennifer S — Google review
Went for lunch with my family, but unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. The food quality was poor, and the taste did not meet our expectations at all. The payasam tasted more like condensed milk than a proper dessert, and the sambar was extremely watery. Most of the vegetable dishes had an unpleasant fried smell, and there was very limited variety in the menu. Overall, it was the worst Indian meal I’ve had — definitely not worth the price. I would not recommend this place.

OWER READ THIS AND TAKE ACTION !!! Terrible food and tasteless. What kind of food are you all cooking? I had such a bad experience the food was awful, and I developed stomach pain within 30 minutes of eating at your restaurant. To make it worse, the staff (all men from India) were arguing loudly in front of customers. How unprofessional is that? The worst part was the server he kept touching our banana leaf in the middle, before serving the food, he wiped it with his bare hands. I told him not to do that, yet he continued and even replied, "It’s okay." Seriously? His finger even touched the rice and lime pickle. That’s extremely unhygienic and disgusting. You need to Change your staff / change your cook or SHUTDOWN YOUR BUSINESS. For his useless food I wasted RM50!

Seafood restaurant
Lighthouse 500 is an upscale BBQ-style restaurant located in Pekan Teluk Kemang, near the Cape Rachado Lighthouse in Port Dickson. Inspired by the nearby landmark, it offers some of the best seafood in the area and is perfect for large groups. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a tour of Benn's chocolate factory and learn about their unique chocolates that have won international awards.
We stopped by this place called Lighthouse 500 to go to Benn's chocolate factory tour. We were delightfully surprised that we truly enjoyed our time there. From the outside one cannot guess what was in store. First of all, the tour was great. Ms. Mei was the one who brought us around and we learnt so much about Benns chocolate, how they support local coco farmers and how their chocolates are unique and have won international awards. We bought some Benns chocolates at the end of the tour, and they did not dissapoint. We then visited their Durian cafe. They sell cakes, and macaroons and heavenly waffles! We bought 4 waffles and they were to-die-for (the milk and dark chocolate was of really good quality and delicious, and it was nicely priced too. Didn't hurt our pockets at all. We plan to visit here again to buy Benns chocolate (because some can only be found here) and to get more of those wafflesss!!( InsyaAllah).
Ann A — Google review
Theres a benn chocolate factory that tells you the history and how the beans are made from. Next to it, it also sells the chocolate that it produces. I wouldnt not recommend to have a dinner here as the food is just mediocre and not worth the price. Maybe just ok for dinner. Overall the ambience of the place is a little weird.
Teik C — Google review
We are from Singapore and looking for some good food with nice dessert. We were lucky to have found this place! Food was tasty and priced reasonably. More people should know about this place! Highly recommended!
Agnes T — Google review
Zero atmosphere. Big, but totally empty. We were there at 1pm and were their only customers. Had to wait quite a while for our food to arrive, and when it did, it was the wrong order and was sent back. My dinner was lamb, and it was missing the peas that I was expecting and had asked for. My friends described their dishes as bland. Overpriced for the food amount and quality. Would never go here again.
Jonathan B — Google review
We were originally here for the Durian Raub but ended up getting some Chocolates & coffee. Excellent and truly unique local products, coffee powder and chocolates. Perhaps next time, we will try the cafe (the cakes and choice of coffee/drinks beckons). Definitely will come by again. And I do hope local or international tourists drop by here. Great stuff and recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Great food , fish and chips excellent, freshly prepared great taste. Waffle and milkshake also amazing. Very Nice seating has AC so nice and cool, great for couples and families with kids. Will visit again

Ambience environment, selling various kind of chocolate products. There is a Durian cafe inside. A brand new place to having around in Port Dickson .
Tan L — Google review
The lemon tea was a bit too sweet. The chicken meat's size was okay but enough for someone who doesn't want to eat very full. I liked the chicken chop's sauce though. I also liked their waffles, I ordered peanut butter flavour and chocolate flavour mixed. There was ice cream on top of it too. I also ordered fish and chips, it was pretty good. So overall, Chicken chop- 7/10 Fish and chips- 7.5/10 Waffles- 7/10 Lemon tea- 6/10

Thistle Port Dickson Resort offers warm and comfortable accommodations in a luxurious beach setting. The resort features two restaurants, a pool with a swim-up bar, and a spa for relaxation. While some areas of the facility may show signs of aging, the resort provides ample activities for families with children, including a large swimming pool, water slides, sea fishing, wave riding, horse riding, and DIY BBQ options.
We 5 group of friends visited Thistle PD, From the moment we stepped into Step Lounge , we knew it was going to be a special evening. The atmosphere was vibrant yet cozy, and the food did not disappoint. What truly made the night unforgettable was the bar experience – the mocktails were bursting with flavor, and the cocktails were crafted with precision. Mr. Dinesh, the Bar Manager, went above and beyond by explaining the blends and even suggesting pairings with our food. His passion for mixology and warm hospitality turned a simple dinner into an experience. The staff overall were friendly and attentive. This is more than just a restaurant – it’s a place you look forward to returning to.

I’ve never stayed in any other hotel because Thistle Port Dickson truly feels like home to me. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back... the sea breeze, the spacious rooms, and the peaceful surroundings make it a perfect escape from city life. The staff are always friendly, polite, and attentive to even the smallest details. The view of the sea, especially during sunrise and sunset, is simply breathtaking. The pool area is clean and well-maintained, and the beach is just a short walk away.... perfect for a relaxing stroll with family. Whether it’s a short weekend break or a family stay, Thistle PD never disappoints. Thank you to the entire team for keeping the resort beautiful and welcoming all year round. Just spend 4D 3N last week.. and going again for 3D 2N next week.. holiday mood on. 😎

I had a really great time at Steps. The food was tasty, but the highlight for me was the drinks. The mocktails were creative and refreshing, while the cocktails were mixed perfectly. Special appreciation to Dinesh who personally made our cocktails – you could really feel the effort and love he puts into them. The staff were also very welcoming and cheerful, which made me feel so comfortable. Definitely looking forward to visiting again!

Had a really pleasant stay at Thistle Port Dickson. We arrived earlier than expected and were pleasantly surprised to be allowed early check-in. The front desk staff, Ms.Norain, was especially helpful and professional — she also arranged a free room upgrade for us, subject to availability, which made our stay even better. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The pool area is nice, especially for families with kids, and breakfast had a good variety. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. Thistle Port Dickson has a great location by the beach and the scenery is beautiful.. Would definitely consider coming back!

When booking online, I have stated I want room with one king size bed. When I enter the room, it is two single bed...So I request change to king size bed, front desk said they will send housekeeping to join the two bed. After waiting 20mins, no one comes and my husband do it by himself. The second day, during housekeeping they take away one towel but didn't replace a new one. I called to send me new towels but after 20mins, no one comes. I called again and still after 20mins, no one comes. My husband go and ask the housekeeper, they said no more towels in the hotel, so they need to go somewhere to take that's why it takes time...😑I'm spechless. All the furnitures are old, one light not functioning, toilet ventilation not functioning. Cleanliness not so satisfying, when entering the sofa bed is dirty, bed sheets got stain. Poor sound proof. The good things is their swimming pool. The pool very big and got different depth. Kids pool is fun.

We had the most extraordinary stay at Thistle for 3 nights with 11 family members. The BBQ set up at the beach was excellent. Chef Helmi was so helpful. The staff were so ready to help. Every thing was so wonderful. A big shout to Ms Asmahani and En Rashid of F&B ! Thank you Thistle.
Sheila M — Google review
We booked this knowing it was an older hotel, and typically in Malaysian style old= not well maintained/ decor is dated, but we expected that. That said, overall the service was good ( the pool guys/restaurant hosts were very friendly and smiley), and the overall hotel DOES have that "you are on HOLIDAY" vibe. Pros: 1. Location: just near enough to the beach to be convenient, but not so close that you have nightmares of La Nina waves washing the hotel into the sea. Easy to locate, lots of parking. 2. The Resort Design: dated, but I appreciate the tiled hallways and rooms, which make more sense than moldy carpets in the Malaysian Weather. Has a mediterranean/tropical vibe. And it very much has that retro tropical resort vibe. 3. Price: higher than what the eventual service/room quality deserves, but it was lower than the ridiculous pricing of other luxury resorts nearby... Which means you may be able to afford upgrading to a suite which can make up for the oldness. 4. Pool /room /amenities: the way the hotel is laid out, most of the rooms will have a very nice view. They have a nice lounge with live music in the evening, a good sized resortlike pool (not just a boring rectangle), and kid friendly slides and gokarts. Pool toilet is quite clean, buffet is ok in terms of quality-selection-cleanliness. The hotel is just the right size, not too cramped but also not so huge little kids will fall asleep on the way to the pool. TO BE IMPROVED I felt there were lots of little things that could be improved to make the stay more pleasant and worth the supposed "5 star rating" that didnt require huge renovations, and a lot of it was down to details. 1. We booked the suite: both the shower fixtures and bath fixtures were so rickety it was about to fall off the wall. The wall hook fell off, the foyer light died on the first day, the ancient beige hairdryer that looked like it was from the 80s died on the second day... Disappointing esp in a suite that is supposed to be the more premium offering. 2. Towels were very thin and fraying.... I would expect this from a random shoplot hotel, not a supposed 5 star resort. 3. Room service was spotty, we had to request manually. Again, i forgive cheaper hotels for doing the "eco, don't wash towels" thing, but not from a suite in a 5 star resort. Isn't the whole point of booking a nice hotel is to come back to tidy cleaned up room after a long day out? 4. The seating in the bedroom could've done with some steam cleaning, because it looked disgusting. Stained beige upholstery. 5. Lots of little bits of litter and random bits of construction rubble around the compound really brought the vibe down. Again easily sorted, but not done. 6. One of the wait staff in the restaurant struggled with basic english for answering simple questions about the menu. Not a great experience since a resort is trying to appeal to tourists of all sorts? 7. The "kids play room" was quite sad, run down/grungy and bits of random plastic toys. I wouldn't even advertise this as a facility in this state, as it is more an embarrassment than a bonus. Overall we enjoyed our stay though, and i Hope management takes notes to fix these little things that would significantly improve the experience and make it worth the money.
Faye Y — Google review
The resort is big and spacious and connected to the beach. Its a perfect place to have a weekend break or a staycation. However the rooms are a bit dated and in our room the phone was missing. They do have an app that you can use to request room service like bottles of water or towel. There are number of kid friendly activities and the pool is huge. They also have a mini arcade and some other fun things. All in it was a good stay. It would be better value for money if the services were upgraded a bit or the price was lower. P.s. the breakfast is massive and it has a good variety of food.

I stayed early July and it was a pleasant experience for my family. I would suggest booking directly on their website as they upgraded both our rooms and had it side by side as well as requested. They had a DM WhatsApp that was helpful when the baby cot was super wobbly , sent a video and got a better baby cot on the 2nd night. Downside : Buffet Breakfast was filled with a lot of flies! And the Japanese restaurant was closed. The swimming pool within the villa and the kids one at the hotel was really nice, my 1.5 year loved it so much. The swimming pool in the villa had a lot of safety measures (reminder to lock it twice) as we had a toddler in the room. Overall, I had a good time Insider tip : The Cove is a nice place to have dinner nearby

Our third time here this year! The best place because the kids love swimming anytime they want. We prefer the ground floor room since it’s fully enclosed, so no need for full coverage or hijab while swimming — perfect for privacy. Even when it rains, we can still enjoy the pool. Breakfast has a nice variety and tastes great. Definitely our favorite family getaway spot!

I had an amazing stay at Grand Lexis Port Dickson! The villa was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and privacy. The highlight was definitely the private pool it made the experience extra special and relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always ready with a smile and quick to assist with any request. The resort’s facilities are great too, with plenty of activities for both families and couples, from cycling and archery to a relaxing spa and great dining options. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices, and everything was fresh and delicious. The overall atmosphere was calm and peaceful, perfect for a weekend escape from the city. Highly recommend Grand Lexis to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Port Dickson. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Checked in and checked out was easy was we checked in around 8.30 pm and checked out at 10am. The room was big no stuffy smell, it was clean and nice, the 2 king sized bed was comfortable to sleeps in, the pool water was clean, it is not that big but just nice. They got outdoor swimming pool also. We got the pool just to ourselves as there were no other guest at the pool. 🤭 They provided buggy service to take us to and fro our room. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Sadly no luck with fishing. 😅🤭 Just do not expect to see crystal clear sea water.
Azrina Z — Google review
A great place to unwind. The room layout was perfect and spacious. No need to worry about wetting the floor as you can come out from the pool straight into the shower. Superb I was impressed with the room access card and the RFID tags on the towels. Don’t play play 😂 We had our very first crabbing experience here and it was so fun we bought our own equipments. Inquire at check in There are many eateries nearby including two seafood restaurants. Got 99 Speedmart, a mini mart and 7E too Abang2 buggy were awesome. Special shoutout to Azril and Shahril for their hospitality and service The only letdown was breakfast. So-so only. Probably will skip breakfast next time Overall was 4.5 ⭐
Umm H — Google review
This was my first and definitely my last stay here. The check-in receptionist was not very friendly, though the buggy service was great. The moment I entered the room, the floor was sticky and didn’t feel clean. Although I appreciated the free upgrade from a Deluxe Suite to an Executive Pool room, the condition of the room was quite disappointing — old furniture, poor maintenance, and even some mould in certain areas. The private pool was nice, but that’s probably the only highlight. Unfortunately, my stay coincided with an Ambank program happening at the hotel, so it was crowded and parking was a hassle. Parking spaces were far from the room, and after dinner, there were no buggy services available to help. To make things worse, there was a blackout from around 1:50 AM to 3:00 AM due to a TNB issue. While I understand it wasn’t the hotel’s fault, there was no communication or update from the staff. I had to find a mobile number myself to reach the front desk. Overall, I’m not satisfied with my stay. For the price I paid, it really wasn’t worth it. The Lexis brand seems overhyped — mainly for its private pools, but the rooms themselves are poorly maintained. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends.
Fatin A — Google review
Some rooms were quite run and the hotel is old...there were ants on the bed ..the ballroom and the waiting area with the old sofa really not impressive on the may need some refurbishment. The feel is like 3 star hotel.. but I like the garden pool room and definitely better when refurbish. There were ants on the bed. The buggy service is excellent..very fast. But like the environment...beautiful
Low P — Google review
i love the vibe they gave. i really hope they can maintain this hotel in good condition. buggy service also good, waiting period not so long. what make me repeat gain to check in here is their private pool. and the pool size is good.

The Grand Beach Resort is a laid-back beachfront property offering comfortable accommodations, on-site dining, and various amenities such as pools, a tennis court, and a garden. The rooms are fully furnished and well-maintained with friendly staff providing helpful information. Its convenient location near the beach makes it ideal for family gatherings and activities. Despite some outdated rooms, the resort offers clean facilities including pools and a pristine beach area. Overall, it's considered worth the visit for a relaxing stay by the sea.
Only using the room for Hi tea, a male hotel staff was very helpful in terms of songs, taking pictures and others. This was a senior citizen reunion, so the presence of the male staff made the event very easy and became a happening

The worst experience I’ve ever had while staying at a hotel/motel. Rats got into the room and bit into the food I had. There were rat droppings scattered around the room. This hotel has all the potential to be a major attraction in Port Dickson, including its captivating Minangkabau design and highly strategic location on the main road. A complete refurbishment and regular maintenance are urgently needed to restore the hotel to its former glory
Azhar O — Google review
I've been to cheaper budget hotels but far better. This hotel may be old, but please regularly maintain it. Fridge is smelly. Toilet looks straight from a horror movie, and smelly. Sliding doors stuck and heavy. I don't dare to use the cups, too dirty. Towels, pillows are yellow. But the staff are friendly, food was quite decent worth the price. Rooms are sandy. I understand that this hotel is next to the beach, and i don't expect the staff to clean 24/7. My suggestion is to provide brooms to each room so we can clean it ourselves. Creepy part is, in the middle of the night we heard rustling sound at the trash can and many previous reviews complain about rats. I kicked the trash can, gone through the trash, but found nothing. Went back to sleep, heard it again. Check again, nothing, sleep, repeat. Finally put the trash can outside the room, heard rustling sound from outside. Don't know la rats or ghost lol. Oh ya beds are also itchy. Bath tub cracked and dirty, my suggestion is to remove it completely. This hotel has the potential to be a major attraction in PD. Next to the beach, beautiful Minang architecture. Please maintain it.
Zakwan Z — Google review
Staying at this hotel turned out to be an extremely unpleasant experience. Originally, we had planned a 3-day, 2-night stay, but we ended up checking out after just one night. Upon entering the room on the first evening, we were immediately overwhelmed by a strong, musty odor. The stench was particularly intense, most likely due to the dampness absorbed by the carpeted flooring, which had led to mold growth. The room itself was extremely dated — from the furnishings to the condition of the bathroom, everything was far below acceptable standards. The most concerning issue was the bathtub: it was cracked, discolored, and visibly yellowed. Guests were expected to stand inside this bathtub to take a shower. (Photos are available to show the bathtub’s condition.) To be fair, the hotel's exterior was quite charming, featuring distinctive architecture, and its proximity to the seaside made for a lovely surrounding. The buffet offered during our stay was also quite satisfying. However, despite these positives, the poor condition of the accommodations made it impossible for us to continue our stay.
Yunlin L — Google review
This resort boasts a stunning Minangkabau building. The view from the coffee house is simply breathtaking. The food at the coffee house is delicious, but the hygiene could be improved. There are quite a few flies buzzing around the food area. Overall, it’s a peaceful and tranquil place to unwind.
Lee L — Google review
My family of 4 checked out of this hotel approx after 30 mins in it. The hotel is super run down, dirty, pungent. The room practically has lizard droppings on every corner of the room, super disgusting sight. The supposedly white towel is grey in color and they can still offer it to the guest!!!!????The room smells like toilet, can u imagine how the toilet would smell???!!! To make matter worse there is not even a sincere apology when we checked out. We drove 5 mins down the road, ended up in shoplot hotel that's much cleaner. I suggest you close down the hotel for good or do some serious maintenance for the sake of your paying guest.
Janice L — Google review
Okay la. The hotel is under new management to replace old stuff. For the price is okay. You have access to the beach and pool. My advice is just to remove the bathtub. Ask you worker to remove the old bathtub. It will create better image

Hotel is old, so do the decorations. But the location is superb. Not on busy area, close to eateries n muzium angkatan tentera. If u want a lazy day with a compromise accommodation, this is a right place for you. I will consider to come here again.

GBU Eating Point is a long-standing restaurant offering a variety of Asian, Western, and Eastern cuisine. It is particularly known for its local dishes such as nasi lemak, roti bakar, and tom yam fried meehoon. The restaurant is pork-free and owned by a Malaysian family, making it popular among locals. Customers can enjoy authentic Malay dishes in a relaxed atmosphere at pocket-friendly prices.
the restaurant's decor is simple, the food is delicious and reasonably priced. The bee siam with curry chicken is highly recommended.

The location is good with plenty easy parking. Food quality is average but tasty. Lots of items in menu. Quality meaning pepper fish could have more fish and sauce could be slightly thicker and not watery. Same goes for the dry chilly fish dish. Not enough fish fillet. Owner is friendly and nice. Nasi goreng special supposed to be extra spicy but was not. Maybe my tongue issue😁. Overall, it's a place you can Go to again. Price is reasonable.

Dropped by at Grace Garden for dinner. Spaghetti, fried rice, nasi lemak ands fish and chips were amazing. Very affordable price with such good quality food. Such an underrated place for cafe level food. Do drop by if youre visiting PD

I visited this restaurant recently and was really disappointed with the service. I placed my order and waited a long time, while others who came after me were served quickly. I politely checked with the staff, only to be told that my order was cooked incorrectly and I had to wait even longer. no proper communication — just an unpleasant wait while watching others enjoy their food. It felt unfair and disorganized. I was really looking forward to the meal, but the delay and poor handling ruined the experience. I hope the management improves order tracking and treats all customers with equal care.

Would definitely recommend here for breakfast! First try after reaching PD first day 👍 would say this breakfast has made my relaxing happy mood for the day! Breeze of sea wind as it’s situated near the coast, along with delicious big breakfast set😋 Compliment on the breakfast set and also the toast, being made to its delicate. Ambience here is very relaxing. Overall would give a 5star rating 👍

Don't underestimate this stall. The 'nasi buluh Ayam rapuh' was amazing. The chicken was so soft. Kari kambing was great too. I was amazed with the lamb portion. More than enough for a person. Price wasn't that expensive. The food was instagram worthy too. I need to use a bathroom during that time, the owner lend us their private toilet.

Came bcoz viral at fb, but very dissappointed with the food. Come at 2pm, not yet full, but the food very slow, and cold, and the taste not so great. The price are same level at big restaurant and mall restaurant. But far low quality than that. When the price is a bit pricey, we expect delicious food. Butt, hmmm, dissapointing Asam pedas not enough taste, and cold Curry are sour, not a ususal curry taste Bamboo rice is acceptable Decoration are beautiful Owner and staff very friendly. Thats the one of the good thing about this place

Azhar I — Google review
I actually thought it was something special when it was viral on Fb. But it wasn't. It was something similar to any Nasi Ayam Penyet I'd eaten elsewhere. The only difference was that the rice was steamed inside a bamboo. The chicken bones were also not 'rapuh' like they claimed. The taste was fine, price was OK, but that's it. Nothing special. The sambal and soup were also so little. Chicken was kind of small. Rice portion was also small.

While the food preparation may be slow, the pleasant environment, friendly service, and reasonable prices make it worth the wait. Visitors appreciate the clean and relaxing atmosphere with background music.
Ordered Sandwich & fries for 7.9, crispy, salty chips and full, large sandwiches with meat egg and salad, toasted. Really delicious - and very affordable. Highly recommend these 👍

I read all the reviews here before going to the breakfast buffet. Overall, when you don't put high expectation, then you won't be too disappointed. The breakfast was okay overall good enough to fill in your stomach in the morning. I did enjoy the nasi lemak and bread pudding was okay too. They have a healthy selection which is the Mee soup and fresh raw salads. So it's an improvement that they did made after receiving bad reviews.
Amira Z — Google review
Worst breakfast in a 4-star hotel. Mainly serving unhealthy foods. Also serving cheap quality toast and jams. At least the nasi lemak is decent at best (otherwise overall 1 star) with rendang or ayam masak merah. The cordial drinks have weird chemical taste. Diluted tea is served. Too many to complaint.
Dominic G — Google review
Pros 1. Ordered chicken chop set menu and it was very delicious, the veggies were perfectly cooked and the BBQ sauce was amazing. 2. Fairly cheap and good value/taste for money compared to nearby restaurants. 3. Restaurant environment was very nice and very clean with relaxing background music. 4. Friendly service. Will come again if given the chance! Cons 1. Food preparation is slow but worth the wait.

The worst breakfast buffet in 4 star hotel. Although that's room price included the buffet breakfast , but all these limited dishes are not valuable for rm25 per pax. And also we booked the room for 4 pax but when we entrance only know it's only available for 2 adult ..what's a joke, the end we had to paid for kids..these dishes totally different from last time. ( for now only nasi lemak with salty curry, own cook soup mihoon, watery porridge, tasteless orange juice, light coffee in a big tank, limited choice of salad), normal bread .Service crews are friendly and nice ,I think management hv a big gap to improve.. hope management will take it action.
Siew P — Google review
The setting is pleasant, the food was amazing and exceeded my expectations despite being at such a reasonable price. I think the only con would be flies that interrupted dinner for a fight. Definitely coming back here when I visit PD.
