I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Toby Carvery Bexley while out with my father. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, setting the perfect tone for a great meal. A special mention goes to Sheree, whose service was nothing short of outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right for us. Her professionalism and warmth truly made our visit extra special. And, of course, the food was delicious—exactly what you’d hope for from a proper carvery. Everything was cooked to perfection, fresh, and full of flavor. Overall, a top-tier experience, and I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

The food was decent but i feel like the veggie option was a bit misleading as we thought there would be vegetarian roast ‘meat’ and it was just potatoes and vegetables. The service however was amazing, especially from sheree who checked in on us frequently and was very friendly too!

Arrived at Crook Log Toby without a booking and was told at reception we couldn't dine as it was too busy. We are so grateful to William, Megan & Elaine who made it their mission to get us a table which they did. We had a lovely dinner with great service thanks to them. Great team work. Thank you

Our server was really brilliant. She was attentive and interacted with our daughter and ensured that we we were being looked after. The food was great and we really enjoyed our experience. The waitress made the experience enjoyable and we would be happy to come back. We have had some terrible experiences at other Toby restaurants but love this one.

Just came to this restaurant after walking out of the gravesend Toby carvery due to the staff there being so rude and unwelcoming. The service here at the Bexleyheath one was exceptional, our waitress Grace was lovely and very helpful. The host on the door was very welcoming as well. Will defo be coming back here from now on.

Been here a couple of times now over the years and every time it’s perfect! I would love to visit this place more, as the food is superb! The price is slightly more than your average cafe but it’s totally worth it! Drinks are great too! And even have homade goods at the bar which I had to try! Overall for quality, price and service it’s a 10/10!

Decided to come here for lunch before work as my mum's been here a few times and recommended it. We were seated really quickly and service was quick and friendly. Our food was freshly prepared and delicious with generous portions (they even gave us extra chips as they didn't think they put enough on our plates) 😋😋

Proper lovely place to eat in Bexleyheath. Great food options, all cooked fresh. Decent portions, love the burgers.... no gimmicks, just what the doctor ordered. Settings are fine, clean with nice decor inside, and seating available outside. It's great to people watch. The staff make this place, they are so friendly, always willing to chat, very attentive and it can get extremely busy.

This is not about the food but about the people. My son and me are crossing this restaurant when the heavy rains picked up. We were trying to get covers under a tree that’s when a person came out of this restaurant saw us and asked us to come stay inside. So undoubtedly if the people are good the food must be as well. Will definitely try their food in sometime but for now thanks to these nice people. Best wishes.

Had the Turkish breakfast, beautifully cooked, coffee was delicious. Service was very efficient especially as it was a Saturday lunchtime. Sat outside. Would definitely visit again.

The cafe is a nice cafe but the chips are too thick giant ones. I'd prefer the slimmer chips I normally get in cafes but all in all nice.

Went to Cuore for breakfast. Food is simple but nice and well executed. Prices are reasonable too I was surprised by the quality of the croissant. I prefer the french version which is more buttery but for UK standard this one is good Salmon/Bacon breakfasts took some time to arrive but it was worth it. Not a big fan of bacon usually but this one was well crispy I think if this place was bit more welcoming then it would be a 5*. We sat for some time without anyone saying hello. The restaurant was not packed so saying hello when a customer arrives is free and makes people feels welcomed The waitress was actually nice when we asked her some question

I've been here several times. Great Menu with good options. The service is always very friendly and I never experienced long waiting times. Can recommend the pistachio croissant with mocha and mix veg omelette with bruschetta!

The coffee espresso it is a real Italian coffee!!! I had a nice time with my Italian friend there. The croissants (cornetti) were so good. We also tried the homemade orange juice, delicious! I really recommend it!

The worst scrambled eggs in my life made with olive oil! I reckon microwaved as well 🤮 no flavour at all. Sourdough bread was rock hard. We haven’t finished and wasn’t even asked if everything was alright with food. Tables not clean

The food that we had this lunchtime was exceptional, perfectly cooked with great flavours, truly Lebanese dining at its finest I had lamb my wife had chicken washed down with cocktails and a complementary sweet from the chef. Very reasonable and very very good

Wimpy is back in Welling! After uncertain times when we thought it had closed down after being there forever, it is back! Always great food

It's a burger joint, so 5 stars is in that context. But simply put, it's a bit more expensive because it's better. Burgers are cooked to order. The chips are good. The whole thing is a level above the market leaders. The Firecracker sauce is spicy and recommended. The special sauce is a ringer for Big Mac sauce. You are looking to spend around £12 for a burger and chips with a cuppa but the extra is not unreasonable. I gave it the extra star for a full 5 because the toilets were extremely clean and pleasant.

What can I say, this was like a walk back in time, las used this Wimpy way back in 1979, was totally surprised that it was still there, same seating arrangement, newer seats. It was great, had our grandson with us, very friendly welcome upon arrival, very friendly service, meals were great, thanks for making us feel welcome, felt like home again. Grandson was impressed as he uses another well known rival. Memories....

Not been in here for years (about 30!). I took my kids today for a sense of nostalgia and I wasn't disappointed. It was sadly empty, which is a shame as the service was top notch and the food lovely. Both of my children declared it to be better than the place with the golden arches and asked to go again. We will be back and perhaps we'll even have a bender burger! It's inexpensive and has a more welcoming feel than other fast food establishments.

I have been a customer at Costa Bexleyheath for many years. I have frequently found it to be a friendly and courteous place with attentive staff and good food and drinks. However, today was disappointing due to one particular female member of staff). I had come with a few friends for a coffee and cake. It was admittedly after 3.15 pm on Sunday afternoon 24/11/2024.I appreciate that businesses need to “wind down” by 4 pm on Sunday. When we purchased our coffee, we we were advised that our goods would be in take away cups.That was fine. However, we sat down at a table in the costa cafe. There were other customers in there at the time. We were enjoying our coffee and chat. We knew that we were not going to stay for ages. However, a certain female member of staff very abruptly and rudely told us that the place was going to shut soon and we had to move: . We as customers are not daft. We acknowledge that it was near closing time and we were quite prepared to move. However, the way in which this young lady spoke to us was not acceptable. It was rude, brash and frankly made me feel that the presence of the costumers was a “ blooming inconvenience”. I understand she and businesses have a job to do - and there are rules and regulations. However, this young lady’s approach and lack of interpersonal/ customer service skills was shocking. In comparison, the same afternoon- I accidentally had a spillage of coffee There was a young man who was working there also who was very attentive and helpful. He was happy to help.(!in spite of being near closing time). I commended him for his help and good customer skills ( and said it was sad that other members of staff did not adopt the same approach). The young lady rudely tried to get us out. She said that. “ they were under pressure from management”! While I completely appreciate the pressure that we are under as employees (being an NHS worker,) there is absolutely no excuse for rudeness. I’m afraid I advised your female colleague quite firmly that pressure or no pressure from management was not an excuse for making people feel that they were an inconvenience and herded out like cattle. I hope that this can be seen and used as a learning and training opportunity. Thank you

Situated in the centre of the Broadway shopping centre this Costa is perpetually busy so expect a wait when ordering. Friendly staff but no seats were free so had to takeaway. Fridge was out of order so no cold drinks available.

Asked for a frappe with no cream and a flat white. Got a frappe with cream and a latte cleaned my own table. Because the lady behind the counter was too busy drinking her own frappe. They couldn't get such a simple thing more wrong

Does not let you eat or drink in this place, overpriced hot and cold sandwiches, toasties and meal deals as well as there snacks deserts. The seating area is too big.

Costa staff work so hard and they are so so polite. Quick service always. They all should be treated better they can’t help the long ques. They are so busy. Best coffee and toast ever. But thank you for always making me feel welcome in here. Your hard work is noticed and appreciated.

Large latte took a little longer than expected , maybe short staffed. The cheese samwich was nice as always got the samwich cooked b4 my latte come back . Got lovely comfotable seats in costa bh. Some of the staff didnt seem happy. Busy little costa , will be back on a another coffee stop . Wheelchair friendly. No toilet facilitys , you have to use the shopping centres toilet. Reccomend tomatoe and cheese samwich melt. And recommend a latte but get it put into a take away cup as the indoor cups are awkward to drink out of.

Disgusting hygiene there was dog poo that had not been picked up next to a customers seat.

It's a self picking your menu from the computer screens. This is the most user unfriendly thing l have come across. Table were left uncleared. I saw it was busy, but l needed them to make an effort. You are given numbers for your meal preparation. When my number was called, the person serving me, just plonked the meal on the table, and was gone. She didn't bother to take the ticket from me or acknowledge me. I thought that was really unnecessary and rude

Customer service is a non entity. Took 30 minutes to get 1 Big Mac, which was declared as ready for collection 20 minutes before I received it. In the end I had to make a scene. Absolutely without doubt, the most useless branch in England.

This can be a very volatile place at night, you have rough sleepers, drug users, drunk people fighting outside the pub, if ur gonna go here at night keep ur wits about you and stay safe, the staff are mostly lovely and the food and drinks are good!

Extremely busy. Queues at the self service order screen. Thankfully someone to help guide you to a free one as soon as possible. There's a seating area upstairs but it's extremely packed and chances are that you may not find a seat during their busy hours.

First time tried and really liked it. Tried the veggie brunch and Turkish eggs and both are really tasty. The Turkish egg is a perfect balance of flavour and would definitely recommend. Coffee was nice too. Will definitely revisit.

It was a Saturday afternoon however they were not super busy, yet the service took unusually long! Inside seatings were cozy, they have outdoor chairs as well. They do savoury stuff alongside muffins and other sweet items. Milkshake was good, however the glass could have been bigger for the price. Ok to have a quick bite and rest if you are tired from all the shopping in broadway mall!

Excellent service, exceptional service, amazing... err you get the point. At Muffin Break, they don't pretend to make their customers priority, they live it and I can attest to that. Located right outside the Broadway Shopping centre at Bexleyheath, I pass by this cafe regularly and decided to visit today. The cafe was clean and I noticed that the staff cleaned up after guests almost immediately they leave, making the cafe look clean and inviting for the next customer. There was a variety of seating options available and a wide range of cakes, pastries and sandwiches to order from. The cafe boasts that the bakery is located in store and as such, assure customers of the freshness if their meals. Sadly, all I had today was coffee and I shall be returning to try various food options. I must commend the friendly and courteous staff who made my visit worthwhile. I had a remarkable experience and would be visiting soon to get more of it.

I just visited a coffee shop, and the coffee was amazing! The food was lovely — I ordered the Dubai chocolate muffin, and I’ve never had a muffin like that before. So delicious! The staff were lovely too, and the service was super quick. Highly recommend!

I came in with my friend (which I do quite often) just because we enjoy the muffins, we can never choose what to have so we order 2, cut them in half and have half of each. The hot drinks are good... the only downside for me is that the wait time for your drinks... but saying that they give you a number and tell you to take a seat and when your drinks are ready they bring them over.

I recently visited Munchies cafe in Mottingham and was thoroughly impressed by the warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The full english I ordered was delicious and the coffee was perfect. I highly recommend Munchies to anyone looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a tasty meal and great company. A Cafe well deserving of 5 stars! This will be my go-to place for breakfast going forward.

The cafe its self is clean and well presented staff are always well mannered polite and very respectable being called sir at my age still phases me slightly but it goes to show the quality of customer service.The food however is a different matter the pricing is very affordable and top quality its only downside is that it gets you wanting more even though your belly is full best sausage bacon and egg sandwich I've had in years if you haven't been I would go 100% I would say they need a bigger cafe to allow more people to come sit in and enjoy the food and atmosphere.

Ok cafe open 7 days a week. Serving standard cafe no fills sausages and bacon. Average portions Lukewarm beans. crusty bread which was a plus. Coffee was ok. Extra seats outback available. Limited parking.

I love eggs royal (poached egg, salmon) so mostly I eat in ponsy places. I usually eat sausage and mushroom sandwich here and it's great but noticed they serve eggs and salmon. I've had it twice here. It was great both times. The salmon is very good quality, the sauce has flavour and both times the eggs have been great- nicely runny in the middle. I will eat this here from now on. They don't sprinkle chives on it like in the usual places you'll find this on the menu but I happily forgo that for the quality, flavour and overall enjoyment of the food. Also the mocha is brilliant.

Good food and well priced, came with my Mrs and thought the food was well priced and tasty. 100% recommend to anyone after a good cafe in the area.

Used to be a really nice place to have a bite to eat but more recently filled with bikers which is probably great if that's your thing, parking was always a bit of a problem but made even worse with the amount of bikes every weekend.

I went here today and just wanted to say how excellent the customer service was from Ata. As soon as I sat down he politely introduced himself and was ready to take my order. Within minutes my breakfast was ready on my table. The food was just perfect and I would definitely recommend this cafe!
