Nestled within the stunning Maitland Regional Art Gallery, Seraphine Cafe is a delightful haven for art lovers and food enthusiasts alike. Surrounded by lush gardens and captivating artwork, this vibrant cafe offers a seasonal menu that tantalizes the taste buds. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast or a light lunch, Seraphine Cafe has something to satisfy every craving. The standout dish features poached eggs coated in panko crumbs, which is sure to impress!
20+ members of the LOST Fraternity car club had breakfast here on Sunday morning. The whole experience from making the booking, arranging parking and catering to the growing number of diners leading up to the event, was a delightful experience thanks to the wonderful team at Seraphine’s. The food - delicious and huge serving size; drinks - hot and arrived quickly after order; service - exceptional considering the number of diners they were catering for that morning. This is really a “go to” place when you’re next in Maitland. Afterwards you can wander the Maitland Art Gallery

Sat outside due to being very busy on the Sunday morning, suggest you book a table if you can. Weather was perfect outside in the gardens and sun was very pleasant. Staff courteous and friendly. Ordered a skinny by flat white and was good. Ordered scrambled eggs with a side of bacon and wife had the egg and bacon roll. And both where very good. Definitely be coming back.

Great food and friendly staff. You end up spending a bit more than some of the other cafes in Maitland but it is a nice spot and worth the outing. My only feedback would be that I wasn't sold on the idea of an open steak sandwich, it only made it more difficult to eat by not having both sides with bread. Overall a great place for food and coffee and I'm sure I will be back.

Great breakfast spot. Walk in in mothers day and they found us a spot. Service was impeccable and the food was delicious. Huge meal, couldn't finish it!

Lovely service and delicious food with generous portions! Perfect spot for a snack or light meal before or after visiting the Maitland Regional Art Gallery. Always a welcoming atmosphere — definitely worth a visit. Booking in advance is always a good idea .

Had a wonderful experience with my family here. The food portions were generous and definitely worth the price.
Nicha W — Google review
It's great, but book ahead if possible because they always get busy. Everytime I've been here, they've always nailed every element on the table, from the drinks to each ingredient in every dish. I've never had a bad (or average) experience here. This is a big part of the reason it's always busy. They nail every dish and the food is fresh, colourful, delicious and looks good too! I've had food here three times and always picked something new. It's never disappointed. The menu is not so large as to be daunting, but it's varied enough to offer something for anyone. Even though I've never had an issue, I get the feeling that the staff would be happy to resolve any complaint, because they were ready to receive feedback when I went to the service counter. Though, they seemed surprised when I complimented them (we need to be nicer as a society, I guess).
Jason G — Google review
Ive been travelling across 4 states so far and I consider myself a bacon and egg roll expert. I must say this was the most delicious one so far. My partner loved the croissant and their iced coffees are really good. My only feedback would be to consider making your own whipped cream for your iced coffees and not the canned stuff from the stores.

Teale Cafe is a hidden treasure located on Lawes Street in East Maitland, offering an unforgettable dining experience. Despite its unassuming exterior, the interior boasts a cozy atmosphere with ample seating and a charming courtyard perfect for warmer days. The staff are incredibly welcoming, providing excellent service that enhances your visit. The menu features generously portioned dishes that are not only delicious but also beautifully presented at reasonable prices.
What a gem! Cosy seating inside or in the courtyard. Service excellent with a greeting and table service Food was delicious Coffee good Timing just right Be sure to check the specials board!

Only one word describes this place, Amazing, Amazing staff, amazing food and amazing seating area at the back. If this was in the middle of Sydney the place would be overflowing. I almost didn't want to leave a review, to keep this little secret to myself. The food was extremely tasty, very well presented and affordable. I have found my new favourite breakfast spot. Thank you so much!
M C — Google review
Nice little place close to Greenhills shopping centre with a nice atmosphere including an area outside. I had eggs Benny with bacon and salmon on sourdough which was tasty but pretty basic and a little on the small side portion wize and the better half had the Smoked Salmon rostee which was ok but too oily from assumably being cooked in oil.
Simon M — Google review
This used to be my fav cafe, since it changed owners it’s gone downhill…. They changed the menu and I don’t believe the changes made are better. The big breakfast option used to be the best you got to chose/ build your own breakfast for that price. The last time we went the service was terrible, both our breakfast were dripping in oil and my husbands eggs weren’t cooked properly, instead of re-cooking the eggs all they did was flip them over. Coffee also taste different. Going to have to find a new favourite spot.
Amber R — Google review
We’ve eaten here before and had a decent experience, but unfortunately it seems that service standards aren’t what they used to be. We went in around 11am on a Saturday, plenty of open tables and were told it was about a 20-30 min wait for food. It took at least 15 minutes for anyone to come by to take our order, another 10 minutes for drinks to arrive. At almost an hour since we had arrived, the cafe was probably 30% full and no one had come by to check on us or update us. We ended up just paying for our drinks and cancelling our food as when I went up to the register it still wasn’t ready. Really disappointed in the service, staff wasn’t really apologetic either.
Jaclyn H — Google review
I would definitely give Teale Cafe and Catering a 5 star plus rating in all areas. Since the new owners have taken over recently i have been there on a number of occasions and at different times and have always found the food is excellent very delicious having tried different things on the menu well prepared and presented. The staff are all very obliging friendly and helpful even at peak times when they are very busy. Like all new business and new people taking over customers have to be prepared for change to the environment staff and especially the menu as they say a new broom sweeps clean. And while it might not please everyone especially past regular customers with the previous owners give it time and give it a go try the different things on the menu. The chefs are excellent and the new owner has had years of experience in hospitality and top cafes in the area. So if they is something you, weren't happy about on your visit to Teale Cafe don't leave negative comments on social media speak to the manager or staff. I could not recommend Teale Cafe and Catering highly enough.

This little gem is tucked away on the corner of Lawes Street in East Maitland. Anything from the menu is just as good - if not better - as the last thing you had. The serves are very generous and the food is tasty. As someone wrote on here…”If this was in Sydney, they’d be lining up down the street!”
Sandra M — Google review
Don’t judge a book by its cover! This cafe doesn’t look like much from the outside but it is lovely inside with plenty of tables. There is a courtyard out the back which is lovely in the warmer months. Service is outstanding and the food is always top notch. Popular with locals.

During my recent visit to The OrangeTree - Licensed Cafe By The River in Maitland, I was pleasantly surprised by the vibrant atmosphere and delicious offerings. Arriving around 10:30 am on a busy weekend, I managed to snag a table for two. With breakfast served until noon, I indulged in their big breakfast and an omelette with chorizo—both were delightful! My coffee and smoothie rounded out the meal nicely.
A pleasant surprise today, my wife and I had lunch here and it was very nice. I had the deluxe chicken burger with chips and it was delicious, and the portion was huge. The chicken was crunchy and juicy and it had the right amount of everything on it. Chips were very well cooked too My wife had the chicken schnitzel and smoothie and said both were great. Neither of us finished our meals as the portion size is very generous. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful little cafe, backs onto the river under the shade of an Orange tree and open deck. Food was very generous and fresh loved it. Staff were so lovely and friendly will definitely be back. Butterscotch banana pancakes could shared between 2. Yummo!!

Visited The OrangeTree cafe for the first time whilst in the Maitland area. Arrived at around 10:30am and whilst very busy was able to get a table for two. Plenty of options available and I believe breakfast was available until 12pm on weekends. We tried the big breakfast for $28 which was delicious and one of the omelettes with chorizo which was also great. Also ordered a large coffee for around $5 and a smoothie. All up came to around $70 however given the portion sizing seemed reasonable. Food was brought out within about 15-20 minutes of ordering despite the store being almost full. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

Great location on the river, it has a nice little courtyard to sit and watch the water it's very chilled out. Staff were really friendly, brought us water and took out order at the table. Enjoyed a capacino and scones just a perfect afternoon spot.

First time trying this cafe in Maitland and we were all pretty happy with our experience. The food and coffee were delivered within a decent time frame and there were no complaints about the quality. It was served well and arrived hot and fresh. Staff were attentive and friendly. We sat outside in the back area. This was nice but the area is a little pokey, feels a bit cramped and the pigeons were a little annoying. Otherwise lovely though to have the option of inside or out. There are toilet facilities on-site and parking was easy with a very short walk. I would recommend trying out this delightful cafe and am keen to go back again in the future.

Had a lovely brunch here today! The customer service was very friendly and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the Tandoori chicken melt 👌🏼
NeZa — Google review
The food is amazing I had a chicken melt today ^^ if I can suggest something though.. with the smoothies can you please add a part that says they're already made? I was a bit sad when I couldn't get the strawberry split (as it has bananas and I am allergic to them) and didn't know that they were pre-made until the waitress told me. Luckily I got a strawberry milkshake instead ^^

The Whistler is a pub located on High Street in Maitland, offering a diverse menu suitable for families and groups. They cater to various dietary needs, including gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and dairy-free options. I recently visited The Whistler while in the area on a Saturday afternoon. The pub's opening hours were convenient for a late lunch or early dinner since I arrived just before 5 pm. For starters, I tried their pork bites which were delicious.
Came in for lunch and experienced excellent service, the wait wasn't long and the pork belly was excellent, as was the Normal Beer. Will definitely drop in again A++

Came to the cafe for breakfast with three friends and left the most disappointed i’ve ever been when leaving a cafe. My partner and I waited an hour for 2x cinnamon scrolls after I had to remind the staff twice because they’d forgotten about them. I ordered 4 coffees for the table, paid $7.40 for a “Mug” Iced Latte that came in a water cup when the rest of the table ordered small coffees and all had larger glasses. All coffees had requested vanilla syrup, none of them had vanilla syrup in them. One of us ordered a sour dough toast with nutella, 45 minutes later, a multigrain piece of bread the size of a small child’s hand arrived over toasted.. We were told that they had run out of bacon for one of our bacon and egg rolls, 35 minutes later, our friends ham and egg roll turned up with a hash brown that could’ve passed as a brick. I have never been so disappointed with the service and food of a cafe in my entire life.
Hayley W — Google review
Had wonderful fast service here today, no issues whatsoever. Coffee was nice, don’t think the chilli scramble had any chilli in it (not as I would’ve expected) but it was a tasty breakfast either way and everyone else was happy without it.
Emily H — Google review
Thank you for the awesome service and delicious food. Really enjoyed it here. The pork belly bites were so nice and crispy. Didn’t get a pic unfortunately they were too delicious lol 😂 but all the other food we had was perfect. The bathrooms and overall restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful place. I went here for the first time for an engagement party and it's a hidden gem! Enjoyed my several lemon, lime and bitters + alcohol free beer 😁
Kristy-lee J — Google review
This place is a bit hit and miss for the food, but the beers and service are always really good. The last time we went we were with a large group and we spent on average $40 pp on meals and entrees. Some things were really great like the chips and burger, but the recipe must have changed for some things and they weren't as good as last time. It's a shame the chicken burger and the pizzas are no longer on the dinner menu. Those were perfect every time. I would definitely recommend here for the beers, but eat dinner somewhere else.
Stacey C — Google review
Maitland keeps getting better. Moved into the area nine weeks ago and we’re sooo happy! Beer selection was amazing and well priced; food was interestingly spiced, presented and cooked. Worth the wait and we will be back, for sure! BTW we’re pretty bloody discerning

I ordered chilli scrambled eggs on gluten free bread with mushrooms on the side. I receive very dry small buttons, so I had to ask for some butter to rehydrate them! Fyi There was bacon crumb on the eggs, which I was a pleasant surprise!

Nestled along the river in Maitland, Lavenders Cafe is a charming spot that invites you to unwind with its relaxed atmosphere and spacious outdoor seating. This delightful establishment serves up breakfast, lunch, and an array of sandwiches that are sure to please any palate. Guests rave about the delicious food and excellent coffee, complemented by friendly service from attentive staff members like Thea, who ensure your dining experience is enjoyable.
The Lavendars Cafe is a lovely place on the river in Maitland with delicious food, good coffee and friendly, attentive service. Recuperating from a particularly nasty bout of flu, we decided to treat ourselves and it was well worth it. We came for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed the Housemade Fritters with two poached eggs, bacon, tomato relish and avocado. I thought the fritters were a little unusual being somewhat flat and very brown - they looked more like an overcooked pancake than a fritter. However, they turned out to be deliciously tasty and - being on the thin side - weren't overly "doughy", as some fritters can be. The 2 poached eggs were absolutely perfect - nice firm whites and gloriously runny golden yolks. The rest of the dish was just right. Coffee was very good - maybe a wee bit cool - but at least you don't burn your tongue on the first sip. Addressing some concerns from other reviews...the service was prompt, efficient and friendly. We waited, perhaps 20 minutes max, altho they had only just opened when we arrived and I can see that a small wait might be experienced if they were full. I'd just say - be patient! Enjoy the sunshine and the breeze from the river. Relax and shoo the pigeons if you're worried!!! I saw a bowl of water served to at least two doggie companions and if you don't have a few minutes to wind back and smell (the lavender- there isn't any) the roses, then get takeaway and move on. Lovely place.
Mary D — Google review
Had breakfast there. Fantastic service by the ladies and I expected a small meal for breakfast and got a feast that looked after me all day . Great value for money! Good to see a proper sized meal servings again. I was so impressed I went back again the next day for another feed ! Well done to the chef as it was delicious.
Wheelabarraback — Google review
Decided to go to breakie on this lovely Sunday morning, after reading the reviews I was abit concerned with the pigeons however yes they were around and yes they were at unoccupied tables however they did not bother us once. We both got the mighty breakie burger one on Turkish bread it was lovely and very filling we also got scones to share and I can definitely say they hit the spot after many years since I’d had a scone. Also got orange juice and a hot chocolate the orange juice has pulp so that was the only thing we could fault but that’s just our personal preference Service was great, attended to in moments and was told we could sit anywhere witch is always a bonus menus were handed in seconds and our order was taken the second the both of us stopped looking at the menu food and drinks came out in a timely manner. Over all would definitely recommend and will definitely be back

Lovely service, beautiful location and food and drinks that are perfection. 15/10! Will absolutely rave about this place for the next few weeks. Staff were able to accomodate me by changing the egg option on the menu. Partners coffee was spot on and my chocolate thickshake was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Absolutely beautiful all round. Yes, I recommend stopping here.
Kay A — Google review
Lavenders was recommended to us by my daughter. We loved the position overlooking the river and Thea the waitress was a lovely ambassador for the cafe - she was young but spoke politely and double-checked our order. Service was quick and thoughtful. Our “big breakfast” was perfectly cooked and enjoyed immensely. Drinks were great. We will definitely return!
Alison F — Google review
I would have given Lavendars 5 stars if it were not for the somewhat lacklustre service. We were told to take our pick of seating. It was not busy at the time. There was only one other couple sitting outside when we arrived. We decided to sit outside to enjoy the outdoors, the river views, the old heritage architecture that surrounded the cafe and the birds. We love birds! That was our choice. We did not have any issues with the array of pigeons strutting around the cafe, some were stunning however, there was a rather long table right next to us that was covered in unfinished meals. That's ok however, these meals were being picked apart by the pigeons - again - ok. My gripe was how long these left over meals were to remain on that table. We arrived, perused the menu, ordered - which my partner had to go to the register to do - of course that's ok if that's how you roll but we thought there was table service? Maybe we're wrong and we'll happily accept that if we are - we didn't see anything to state otherwise. We were served or meals, which by the way were delicious! I really enjoyed my Macadamia Crumbed Camembert Cheese with Red Currant Glaze, Onion Jam and Rocket and Apple Salad. A taste sensation - prepared to perfection TBH. I'm a really slow eater, really slow. It was not busy, as I said, there was one other couple outside, a second joined as as we ate and as far as I could see there was maybe two couples inside. The food on the table beside us remained the entire time. It was picked apart by the pigeons. Again, I've nothing against pigeons but I could not understand why that food was left there for so long, when there were signs asking to not feed to birds. It really is not acceptable for food or plates/dishes to be left out like that for so long, they should have been collected as soon as the party left - if not beforehand. It was NOT busy. However, as I mentioned earlier - the food was delicious and even divine.

Common Grounds Morpeth is a delightful café that offers a vibrant atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for family gatherings or casual meet-ups. During my recent visit, I was impressed by the bustling yet comfortable environment where everyone seemed to enjoy their meals and coffees. The café features a commendable vegan menu with options like the highly recommended vegan toastie and Turkish toasty, perfect for plant-based eaters.
Vegan menu! Visited for the first time this morning with some family - the cafe had a great atmosphere, was busy but not crowded, everyone enjoyed their food and coffees. Wait times were good and meals came out together. Vegan options were good - recommend the vegan toastie. Good view from the back looking over the river. Recommend booking. *Waffles in photo not vegan*

$6.80 for a "large" flat white with a shot of "caramel" It taste exactly like a bloody maccas coffee. Pumped full of sweetener that didn't even have a hint of caramel. The large is tiny, it's a small at most. Not sure who I feel sorry for the most. Us, the poor locals that we have to resort to or the Sydney siders who travel 2hrs for a "premium" coffee while visiting this beautiful area.

Amazing spot, make sure you get a seat right at the back by the window, beautiful gardens to see. Serice was good, and food was probably a bit overpriced for what it was. Not a huge vegan selection, but they were able to offer some options. Servings were pretty small.

Got a table for two today(saturday) around 11:30, we ordered smashed avo and potato rosti. Waited over an hour for our food to be served. They apologized for the long wait and were offered two cappuccinos on the house. We finished our food and waited a couple of minutes but no sign of coffee. We paid and left. Food was alright but wait time on a busy saturday was horrible.

Have been here a couple of times. Best cafe in Morpeth. Some prices are on the higher side - smashed avo $22 plus $5 to add egg and a pot of tea is $8 while coffee is around $6. Eggs on toast with bacon around $23. Food is always good though and service is friendly. Very busy on weekends, so it’s a good idea to book or you might miss out. Quite nice to see out on the river.

Cafe @ Mortels is a delightful gem that offers an impressive selection of breakfast and lunch options, along with a tempting array of coffee and cake. The atmosphere is cozy yet modern, making it perfect for both casual dining and business meetings. Guests rave about the quick service and friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. One standout dish is the lamb stew, praised for its rich flavors and generous portions.
Excellent food at really reasonable prices. Quite a wide range of breakfasts and lunches available as well as coffee-n-cake selection. Service with a smile, comfortable furniture, plenty of room. Excellent. ***Tried the Lamb stew today. OMG, get here quick and get some of the greatest stew ever made. Plenty of lamb and good veg in a beautiful red wine gravy.

Such a great little stop! Food came out so quick, good coffee, cute sit down areas, great range of vegetarian options. Highly recommend. Also love their replies to the negative reviews here 😂 those reviews don’t even sound genuine, perhaps a competitor trying to drag a good cafe down? Who knows but we loved this place on our road trip

Had breakfast here today. Staff were friendly and food was quick, however I had the worst pancakes I’ve ever had in my life. I’m 99% sure they’re microwaved reheats like you get at McDonald’s as they were like rubber and chewy. And at $19 for three thin pancakes I was pretty disappointed. For $19 I could make 30+ pancakes at home. For something so fool proof in cooking, you would really expect better.

Vintage On Melbourne is a charming little café that captures the essence of nostalgia with its delightful vintage decor and warm atmosphere. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted with friendly service and an enticing menu filled with delicious homemade meals and cakes that evoke fond childhood memories. The coffee here is exceptional, making it a perfect spot for both casual coffee breaks and leisurely lunches. With options like massive brownies, hearty frittatas, and even gluten-free choices, there's something to satisfy every palate.
Relaxing garden dining area out the back (looks pet friendly) - homemade frittata, curry and cake- huge pots of tea. Amazing lunch, afternoon tea spot.

Closed til Friday 3rd jan25, looks great thru window. Not wheelchair accessible, so bring a friend to help up over steps. Garden out back looks inviting! Will come back one day!

Great little cafe and antique store. Excellent service and has a top vibe, bacon and egg roll to die for.

Last time I was here was (25th of march) things could’ve been changed by then🙌 This place is a hole in the wall, wouldn’t notice it unless you knew where to look, the atmosphere is through the roof with all the different plants, olden day antiques that just make the design of this cute restaurant well worth going to. The menu was a bit small when it comes to variety and couldn’t change parts of the meal as it didn’t suit the chef. The food was ok, felt a bit undercooked but for the atmosphere and some food on your stomach, it’s worth a walk through.

We had a strange experience at this cafe and felt most unwelcome. We asked about the menu and were told there was another cafe a few doors down with a bigger menu. Were they trying to get rid of us? Inside, the cafe was empty and remained so (bar one other table for two) throughout our short visit, yet every table was reserved. It was odd. The toasted sandwich and coffee was OK but we didn’t feel comfortable to linger long. Next time we will take their advice and try the other cafe.

I’m here every month holding essential oil classes. The coffee is great, and all the food is amazing. There is always an interesting choice of meals, and the cakes are homemade and delicious.

This place is my favourite! The food is delicious and coffees were amazing. They have the best cakes that take you back to your childhood. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and orders taken. Service was excellent and super quick! Such an amazing atmosphere surrounded by vintage furniture. Super cosy warm feel. Would recommend to anyone, it’s so worth it! Lots of GF options too

Nestled within the Maitland Visitor Information Centre, Central Park Cafe is a delightful spot that welcomes both humans and their furry companions. This spacious and clean cafe offers a relaxing atmosphere perfect for catching up with friends over delicious coffee and mouthwatering food. The friendly staff ensure prompt service, making it an ideal place to unwind.
I was part of a group of corgi owners who gathered at the Central Park Cafe at the Maitland Visitor Information Centre yesterday and we had a fantastic day! It is lovely to spend time at a clean, spacious and dog friendly cafe. The staff were so friendly and the service was prompt. The food looked amazing and tasted great and everyone received exactly what they ordered (no mistakes - hard to come by these days). The best part for our pooches was that they had their very own doggy menu! We each chose something for the fur kids and their meals were presented in grey, plastic bowls (see pics). Most of the fur guests showed great manners when eating, yet others very quickly polished off the meal, leaving bowls spotless. There is indoor and outdoor undercover seating as well as some chairs and tables out on the grass overlooking the lovely grounds. There is a dog restricted seating area (for those not so keen on fur kids). If you are a dog owner, this is a great place to bring your dog. There are hooks on the inside garden wall near the tables where you can secure the leash, thus preventing the usual tangle around chair legs and under the table. Thank you to the staff and chefs who made our day a very good one!! There were many tired corgis yesterday afternoon. We will be back.

Beautiful cafe, really cosy and full of plants and greenery. Lovely staff, easy parking, also cute couches if relaxed dining is wanted. Ordered Avo smash classic with no eggs very pretty with edible flowers.💐 Loved it.

Preferred non crumbed salt and pepper squid. Pumpkin arancini balls served in lively presentation. Would improve by using a more mature cheese to add flavour. Hot butterscotch cocoa lovely. Nice childrens area for parenta to relax. Traffic noise from A15 Provided toys a bonus

This is a great meeting place for catch-ups over coffee & cake or lunch. The staff are lovely & the atmosphere is relaxed. It's easy to find for those unfamiliar, parking & access perfect for the less mobile and amenities are close by. The service is friendly & efficient, The food is very tasty with generous portions. Hot Chocolate is a must if you want a winter warmer. Blankets provided for outdoor seating. Good coverage/shade & space for outdoor seating. Comfy lounges. We have been regulars for a few years now & simply can't fault it. My mother is gluten free and loves the menu. Oh and it's dog & child friendly with little extras to accommodate. You will come away feeling good!

Been to this cafe a few times and have been happy with both the food and setting. Visited on the 31/8/25 to find plenty of tables both inside and out available. Chose inside. The interior of the cafe is welcoming (the coffee nook is especially inviting). Ordered a big breakfast and prawns and calamari and a couple of coffees/chai's. Was surprised to find that the cafe doesn't cater for any soy milk option. I checked to see if it was a case that they had run out (being a Sunday) however was told they don't ever have soy milk. A strange choice nowadays but so be it. While waiting for the orders to arrive it was unfortunate to hear one of the female staff talking loudly with other staff about how she 'controls men' and domineers over them so as they 'behave'. This same person was commenting about another customer who was sitting outside with a dog and making loud comments about this person and their pet and how she would control both of them. The comments about this patron obviously struck a chord with other staff, one in particular who spent most of her time patrolling the cafe staring at the dog owner through the windows and at the same time staring at our table. Definitely not the level of scrutiny that anyone particularly needs when trying to enjoy eating out. Then came the food. It's safe to say that both dishes were completely devoid of flavour. How someone manages to not have bacon with a salty taste I do not know. The calamari was nothing short of disgusting. Clearly flash fried leaving the inside of the prawns complete mush. Meanwhile, the staff patrols and the staring continued. In the end we finished neither meal and left. I would've got better value for my $70-odd dollars if I would've used the money to clean the public toilets in the attached information centre and then flushed it. Nothing like feeling completely ripped off, it's a terrific way to spend a Sunday. Will I return, short answer, no. Will I tell people about our experience, oh yes, I already have.

The only downgrade here is the traffic noise, but everything else is amazing. Thank you staff for a great experience and wonderful food to pair with a sensational coffee. Highly recommend.
Simon C — Google review
Paid over $80 for breakfast for two, and left feeling completely underwhelmed. The portion sizes were shockingly small, especially considering the price. To make matters worse, the café was unwilling to accommodate basic dietary needs or swap out food items—even when the alternatives were of equal value. When we politely raised these concerns, the staff were dismissive and borderline rude. The lack of flexibility and poor attitude made what should have been an enjoyable morning feel frustrating. Would not recommend, especially if you have dietary restrictions or expect service that matches the high prices.
Bree P — Google review
Most disappointing very small variety, no sandwich or wraps or open melts. Had a limited breakfast menu. My friend is gluten free only had toast so we ordered bacon and eggs, coffee was warm. Wouldn't recommend it. A shame especially when it is part of the information centre. I have said before there's not much to bring tourists into Maitland.

The Green Room is a charming café that consistently impresses with its delightful offerings and exceptional service. Whether you're stopping by for a quick milkshake or indulging in a hearty breakfast, the atmosphere is always buzzing with energy. Families are welcomed warmly, as evidenced by their thoughtful response to little mishaps—like when they kindly replaced a spilled milkshake for an upset child. The menu features scrumptious options like loaded banana bread and generous smoothies, ensuring there's something for everyone.
I had walked by this little cafe a number of times. It always seems to be busy, which I took as a good sign so, yesterday my wife and I decided to stop in for some breakfast. Service was very friendly and our meals were delivered in record time. My wife had a very nice toasted sandwich, which she enjoyed. I ordered their loaded banana bread, which was absolutely divine! She also had a delicious banana smoothie, and I an iced coffee, both of which were very generously portioned. We both thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back again soon.

Visited for Saturday brunch. I expected it to be busy and that I would have to wait. While it was busy, staff to be very efficient at getting food out and tables cleared off. I was seated in minutes. The meal was sure worth the wait. Had a latte and French toast of the daily special menu. The coffee was really good, but the food was the true highlight, absolutely delicious and the serving was huge. I felt like I won't have to eat for the rest of the day!

I had been recommended coming here by the lovely staff at Goldmark who advised the green room had the best coffee around. Even though it was really busy the waitress found me a table and turned it over really quickly so I could sit. I decided to have a piccolo coffee and a bacon and egg roll neither of which disappointed. The coffee was lovely just the way I like it, and the bacon egg roll was the best I can remember eatting in recent times. My trip to Newcastle was one of sadness as I lost my dad while I was there, but I ventured out for a nice late breakfast and felt very looked after. Thank you for everything ❤️ it's amazing how a little kindness can change your day.

A bit disappointing. Ordered a chicken schnitzel BLT burger that cost $24.90 It had one single piece of bacon on it, a dot of sauce, and I’m not exaggerating, most of my crumbed chicken was the same thickness as the cut of bacon, it was probably 3mm thick at the thickest point. Along with the small serve of chips I left still hungry. We spent nearly $70 for a small burger, a chicken melt and two drinks, pretty damn expensive which I would accept if it was good but it wasn’t. Staff were good.

Must have new staff, service in the last 4 days is very poor. Dumped at a table and after 10 minutes I had to call the wait staff over to place mu order. This has happened 4 times in a row, no excused. Staff need to do one job and not have 6 people clearing the same table. Might have to good another place for coffee.
Ian F — Google review
Attended for breakfast with my wife, the atmosphere is nice given its in a shopping centre. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was very enjoyable and found the quality to be higher then anticipated. Caramel lattes were up there with some of the best we've had. Have previously missed out on going here due to popularity and no tables at the time so were sure to attend when they opened and were not disappointed in the slightest. Only criticism would be the big breakfast needs an extra hashbrown especially since had the mushrooms removed. Would recommend and will definitely return.
Shaun — Google review
I used to love coming here, and I would come in at least twice a week. I know its very busy all the time and I dont mind waiting. My issue is the service lately has been poor, every time I've been waiting for my order to be taken way too long, with staff cleaning tables around me, taking others orders who were there after me, its frustrating and I try to be subtle with looks and hints. My other problem is the food. It has been disappointing the last 4 times I have been. My last encounter on Tuesday, I had the soup of the day, pumpkin, it came out and even though the bowl so hot to touch, I had a spoonfuls, of cold soup. The soup tasted like canned soup, I always make my own and buy elsewhere, I can taste the difference. I only ate half the bowl as I was hungry. It went back to the kitchen and just chucked in the microwave anyway which is how it was cooked for the first time too I think. For the prices that you charge, im happy to pay, but until things improve, I wont be back.

My partner just walked out of this restaurant minutes ago due to being seated at a table for 30 minutes with table service. We did not get approached to have our order taken. We watched them seat another family right next to us and they had their order taken within 5 mins of being seated and we still had not had ours taken. If you cant maintain and keep track of table times have less tables.

The staff is consistently friendly and polite, ensuring that your experience is nothing short of delightful.
Great food at great prices. Customer service is always fantastic. We love going to Cuppa Joe! My favourite thing is the chicken, cheese and avocado on toasted Turkish bread (picture included). Yummy! I'm told the chicken and leek pie was also delicious.

I recently moved to the area and found Cuppa Joes for my morning coffees before work. Sean the barista not only makes the best coffee but he’s also always so friendly and welcoming. Lovely coffee, not so lovely staff! The Caucasian girl with the glasses was unnecessarily sarcastic when I asked her how she was. Very rude and abrupt. I am not one for reviews at all but seemed like she went out of her way to be rude.

Food was okay however interaction with staff ruined the whole experience. Dont reccomend, try rex and friends. Personally found the staff member (heard someone call her Jess?) Incredibly rude and abrupt, spoke to me like I was a burden. Unfortunately I won't be back, maybe try hiring more welcoming staff.

I highly recommend Cuppa Joe Cafe. Service: The staff were very welcoming and polite. Quality: I ordered the avocado bruschetta which was delicious! All fresh produce and REAL smashed avo (I hate when you're given that tube stuff 🤦‍♀️) I also added a poached egg and it was cooked perfectly! (Which unfortunately seems rare sometimes). Location: Located right at one of the entrances to the shopping complex, makes it easy to find, and has the option of sitting either inside in the air con, or outside in the fresh air. Price: The menu itself is very reasonably priced, with the bruschetta only costing $9! However, with this in mind I was surprised that to add 1 poached egg cost $4.50 😐 I would expect that for 2 eggs, but for 1 I thought was excessive. Cleanliness: The cafe seemed very clean and well kept. Extra: Although I didn't purchase any myself, they have homemade jams available for purchase, and lots of yummy looking sweets!

Great selections of pies! Nice flaky pastry with delicious fillings - no extra sauce on top required! Oh and the apple pie (with cream) is scrumdiddlyumptious 😋 We give it 5 pies out of 5 😁

Disgusting pies and a filthy restaurant with toilets that im sure the NSW Health Dept. would love to know about with piss all over one seat so I go into the disabled toilet and I find that it's got no paper so I go back into the men's to wipe myself then you can see in my pictures the wet roll. If you like great pies not far away check out Full Throttle BBQ in Beresfield. This drive thru site is wasted and would be better served with the likes of El Jannah or Wendys here.
John M — Google review
Customer service was pretty average. Pepper steak pies and sausage rolls were nothing to rave about and probably wouldn't buy again. Seems pies have more gravy then anything else and the sausage roll filling seemed to have shrunk considerably inside the pastry.

been meeting here with some friends for a light breakfast every Saturday for many years. The lady on the counter is very helpful but i was not pleased when I tried to pay cash, there was no change available and when I paid by card I was charged a surcharge; and the toilets need a clean and refurbishment. you can do better
Peter K — Google review
The staff were friendly and service was fast. The pies, however, were sadly the worst i’ve ever had. The top crust tasted burnt, the bottom pastry wasn’t cooked all the way through. The filling was sparse and maybe would’ve been saved if the pastry didn’t ruin it. As an avid pie enthusiast, this was very disappointing and was not worth a burnt tongue.

Very disappointed. Just had the worst, expensive, tasteless soggy sausage rolls. It's not the first time, last visit purchased pies, wasnt impressed, but thought give it another try. I don't recommend this bakery.

Overpriced spinach/feta triangle and vegetable pastie. Not sure if there was any feta in the triangle... The pastie was bland and tasteless. Unfortunately, the toilets were also unclean, which made the visit even more a displeasure. Will not be returning.

Moderate to shocking experience, while waiting in line 2 people left the que after waiting a extended period of time for service. Staff was lovely but one person was working the register and making the coffee, and seeing as you pay such a large "weekend surcharge" one extra junior staff member wouldn't hurt. Ordered two meals at average of $25 each and the meal portions was so small, 2 mini waffles and a quarter banana with a scoop of ice cream doesn't warrant a $26 price tag. Chicken melt was 2 thin slices of tomato and 1/4 cup of chicken on one piece of bread. The taste was average, pretty disappointing from what I hoped since iv wanted to come here for a while
Aidan C — Google review
Had lunch at The Coffee Emporium with my wife, how lucky was I, it only cost me one of my kidneys. I acknowledge the rising costs to small business, I have been there!! However my recent experience has left me severely scarred. Ordered 2 x chicken melts on sourdough, iced chocolate and a large thick shake, $20 each for a single chicken melt is an absolute rip off. Have provided pictures as proof, lucky to escape with the rest of my body organs in tack and not having to sell them on eBay! The other kicker is if you order from the table using the QR code, helping them out doing their job you will be charged a fee on top, seriously!!!!!

Had coffee with my family on Sunday morning. Yes there were 7 of us, but it seemed very inconvenient for one of the staff. Drinks were fine even though we had to remind about an iced coffee after a 20min wait, was told it was coming, then they started to make it. Staff member serving our table didn’t smile once looked more like a scowl and eye rolled when we checked what the coffee was, so it went to the right person. We watched her serve other tables with no smile either. I appreciate she may have been having a bad day but it doesn’t look good from a customers perspective.

My daughter and I came here for a late breakfast/lunch, she ordered pancakes and I got a BLAT with an iced latte. The food took a bit longer than average to arrive at the table (probably because they were super busy) but once it arrived it was cooked fresh and was delicious, my only criticism would be that my BLAT could have had a bit more bacon to make it balanced with the other ingredients. My daughter said her pancakes were yummy and she would order them again. The iced latte on oat milk was made very well, except it was served in what looked like a jam jar - I have never understood or appreciated that fad, but that's probably more a me thing than them. It was also a very noisy place to be so not so good for those with sensory issues - bring ear plugs.
Tracey W — Google review
The food here is fresh and tasty, no complaints. We had breakfast and it was quick and hit the spot. Our coffees were also nice. The service was friendly and efficient. One thing stood out to me about this place though. It’s kinda dirty? We arrived first thing in the morning and the floor was really gross in the indoor/outdoor section as was the chair I pulled out to sit at. All the glasses had that smudged cloudiness all over them and it was just a little off putting. The food and coffee were nice though and I would probably come back if I was off to spotlight or something

We dined here today as I had been for coffee previously whilst going to spotlight. I had the corn fritters and my partner, he had the snitzel burger and chips. He said the chips were perfect! And the burger was amazing, fresh and crispy. My corn fritters, so fluffy and full of flavour. The condiments to go with it set it off. The service was very friendly and the food came out within 20 minutes. Thank you for such a delightful experience.

Food is nice enough but overpriced for simple fare. The atmosphere is nice looking over the park, but the opening times are annoying. Studying at the library and go to get a coffee only to find they're not open Saturdays? If the library is open, the attached cafe should be too. Or sell the business to someone who will open at times convenient to library goers.

Super friendly service and amazing coffee. Rocked up right on closing time and were kind enough to make me a couple of coffee's - highly recommend 👌

I love the concept. The service is great when the manager is around ,but the last 3 times I have been here, the coffee was not hot enough.

I just bought a coffee and it tasted so bad I couldn’t even swallow it. It tasted like the coffee had been burnt, it was so bitter and I can even identify the flavour of it. I ordered just a small but still payed quite a bit of money to not even be able to drink one sip. I even offered my partner to have a taste and she couldn’t even swallow it either. I’ve had bad coffees before and still been able to drink it and push through, this coffee was another level, I couldn’t keep it in my mouth. And the guy serving also couldn’t even identify what flavour the Vegan cookies were. Very very disappointed, never going back.

Today my friend Jon got married at Maitland Uniting Church, which was really great for me because it gave me a reason to go to the BikeSmith Espresso Bar. This was my sixth time at the BikeSmith Espresso bar. The first time i went was after my friend Tim's wedding in December. What happened was, the wedding went a bit longer than I would have liked and so I realised I needed a coffee afterwards. I walked down the road with my friend Steve and we found this shop. We had a great first experience, which led us to going another four times - all after church services. I could write a book about all the experiences we had here, but Ill keep this review short. This brings me to today's trip to the BikeSmith Espresso Bar. We were all sitting in the church absoloutly itching for a coffee. It was all I could think about during the wedding. We got out as quick as possible, said congratulations to Jon and made our way down the road. The group consisted of Steve, Jake, Toby, Kim, Charlotte, Jess and myself. Jess wasn't invited to the reception which was a bit awkward. Lol. Jake had just come off a very big day, so he was keen for a coffee and was first to order. Me, Kim and Steve got flat whites, but mine had an extra sugar. Toby had a bit of an episode due to some loud noises, but he brought it under control with his breathing techniques. Proud of you Toby. About 10 minutes in, James Hutton made a surprise appearance. We noticed him outside looking very lost, as all his friends were busy, and so we brought him in. He told us that we were seventh on the list of his list of friend groups, so it was nice to hear we made the top 10. We invited him to hang out this weekend but hes busy. Id better sign off now as we have to go to the reception, but I want to say a big thanks to BikeSmith Espresso Bar for the great service and great coffee. I'm looking forward to my seventh visit.

McDonald's, a well-established fast-food chain renowned for its savory burgers and crispy fries, is widely recognized for its convenience and efficient drive-thru service. Upon entering the store, customers are directed towards user-friendly self-order screens where the helpful staff promptly takes their order before proceeding to the counter to complete payment. The preparation time for a delectable Classic Angus large meal is impressively short, ensuring that customers receive their food within approximately five minutes.
I think Liverpool was the best thing in the world and this ever is very good. There’s a big place so kids can play and it’s very big and clean and then I want to take my little brother so he can play and it’s very nice and they’re even have aroom that you can make a birthday party there and the parking. It’s very big when we just got there and the service is very fast. keep up the good work guys. Your work is very good.

Only the worst experiences here on the weekends. Asked for a cappuccino and got this watery boiling hot drink complete with a floating bean!?! Not to mention in the dual lane drive through and they just kept sending the same side through and not serving customers evenly. Man I hate this maccas. Maccas in general has been poor lately. Prices are just absurd. Over $5 for a large coke? Who is buying a coke for that much? Can’t believe it
Michael J — Google review
The worst maccas I’ve ever been too drive thru took almost 20 minutes , all my orders have been mixed up , my baby in the car crying nonstop nearly drove off from waiting and wanted to go in for my money back , then the audacity to have 4 different people asking what was it that I wanted ? Like common . Needs better team ! Or management because not a single happy face working there everyone looks tired and full off attitude , not coming back . #Ridiculous!
Shonz — Google review
What is this? Staff member got a little bit thirsty. Lol, 20 minutes to make a frappe. Upon driving thru for the second time manager already knew what it was about but yet still allowed the half full drink to go out. LAME
May D — Google review
I ordered breakfast and it come out with the wrong burger, take it back and the staff try to hand over a burger that someone else has bought back and opened, Asked for a fresh one to be made. another wrong breakfast burger again. finally after 25 minutes of ordering a sussage and egg Mc muffin I was given the correct burger. The only thing that seems to matter these days is the drive through. imagine if you had to wait around for 25 minutes at the drive through.

Went there yesterday 4.30pm. Ordered and waited 30 minutes , no meal . Asked and was told it's already gone. Only to find it sitting on their bench. Asked for a fresh hot meal when they tried to give it me. Waited a further 10minutes for a box with a mess all over it. 3 returns from other people in that time and one coffee returned cold. Whatever happened to M Donald's service once the pinnacle of well trained staff and service. Not any more. Disgusting....

My be show your staff what the food is meant to look like and what's in it. Ordered a deluxe Crispy chicken large meal. The burger had no cheese or tomato why advertise these if you can't make the correct order. Large means large the drink was half full or half empty chips were medium. I'm not driving back 8 kms after i take the food out at home to find your staff are incompetent. They can't say they were busy i was the only one in the drive thou.

McDonald's Maitland East is a beloved staple in the fast-food scene, renowned for its iconic burgers and crispy fries. This classic eatery has been serving up delicious meals for years, making it a go-to spot for those craving quick and satisfying bites. Whether you're stopping by for a quick lunch or indulging in late-night cravings, McDonald's Maitland East promises familiar flavors that keep customers coming back time after time.
I ordered a Tennessee BBQ meal and instead of the burger I get 3 beef patties on their own. Like seriously you think this will satisfy me when you're unable to deliver what is ordered? Think again, I rather the order be cancelled.

Ordered 3 burgers, received 2 completely burnt, I go in because it was quite literally inedible. i spoke to the manager and was told "it isn't burnt, it is meant to look like that", the burgers were remade, and still burnt. Genuinely horrible customer service. (Photo is of the burger I got served as a replacement)

Walked in after 11:00am. The floors are filthy, finger prints smeared all over the benches. Doubled up the order, got the order number called out a second time to pick up the toastie I was waiting for to be cooked. Just to see the whole order remade but the coffee was a small rather a medium? Told them they had double up the order and they don’t know what to say. The toastie was only half cooked. The outdoor chairs were still flipped up on the tables, no one bothered to go out and place them back down. This place is worse than poorly managed, it’s not even managed. Won’t be back.

We got a coffee there today when opening the lid it wasn’t ever half full or hot when we asked for extra hot. We then took it back waited just for them to bring it out still being half full, almost like they just heated it up and added chocolate to the top. This is absolutely disgusting and there needs to be a change in the restaurant
Aly R — Google review
So very disappointing as we have visited this branch before and had excellent service and food…..tonight the staff were busy talking, fries were thrown into the bag, no serviettes, coffee we had to wait then cups were not full…..service was poor. Shame, as we don’t frequent Maccas often and when we do we have been lucky with great service and food
Chris K — Google review
Sat for ages, only one in drive through, another car came into the other lane and was served immediately. Assumed speaker was broken as I asked several times, so drove to window. They told me to drive back around to get served. Last three times my order has been short as well. Sort yourselves out, not good enough.

Not even giving a star. Crispy chicken snack wrap happy meal looked like it had been dropped on a dirty floor and wrapped on the dirty floor. Disgusting. Try calling them, don't bother no one answers. Try letting them know online? Can't find an option for complaint.

Getting sick of the poor service here. Multiple times we have been short on paid for items (usually apple pies), dont expect to get served in the correct order in drive thru and computer screen keeps "breaking" in drive thru. I dont expect the world, just some degree of competency.

Tried House of Roast three times now — cold brew, Biscoff iced latte and strawberry matcha, and most recently a hot latte. Unfortunately, it’s just not for me. The coffee has been consistently underwhelming, and my latest visit left me with a burnt-tasting latte. For the price, I expected better. Safe to say, three times and I’m out. Honestly, a $2 7/11 coffee has delivered more satisfaction.

The Kitchen at Waterford is a delightful café that exudes warmth and charm, making it the perfect spot to escape the winter chill. With its inviting atmosphere and heartwarming service, guests are treated to a menu filled with fresh ingredients that come together beautifully. The coffee experience can vary, but dedicated staff like James and Hannah ensure that patrons feel welcomed and satisfied. Diners rave about standout dishes like the acai bowl—especially praised for its strawberries—and well-balanced Reuben sandwiches.
We were welcomed warmly on a cold winter’s day into a cafe with a heart and soul. The menu was very fresh and simple ingrediants that come together very well. It was also delicious and well priced. Coffee was excellent, Barista Hannah is passionate and very friendly. Thanks for a great start to our day. Your service is amazing, this place will be my favourite breakfast place.

I usually grab a coffee here between my meetings, but I’ve had a similar experience twice now. Two staff members are free, but no one takes my order for a few minutes while they pack or clean up tables. I get that they have work to do, but they could take my order and keep working. Unfortunately, I won’t be visiting again.

Not great, $18 for very very average avo toast, feta, tomatoes which I paid for then when delivered to my table was told ‘sorry we have ran out of feta’. Surely you tell the customer first? Coffee average too. Very young staff, outside table hadn’t been cleaned up from day before.

Maize Street Roasters is a delightful coffee shop that truly excels in offering a select few menu items, ensuring each one is crafted to perfection. With an inviting atmosphere, it’s the ideal spot for those who appreciate quality over quantity. Their in-house coffee stands out, especially when paired with their delicious toasties like the Korean beef and classic Reuben—both are must-tries! For lighter options, the Chicken+Ranch and Chorizo toasties hit the spot too.
These guys set the best example of how to do a few menu items really well. Something for everyone without having 60 items on the menu. The mineral water with black coffee is a nice touch and really balances the acidity. The vibe is good too and again, should set the example for how keeping it simple done well should be the goal for many businesses.

Almost 2 years of coming here and the quality never wavered. In-house coffee is great, and the toasties are even better. The Korean beef toastie and the classic Reuben are a must if you have an appetite and after a really good meal, but the Chicken+Ranch and the Chorizo are good if you wanted something lighter.

Very accommodating cafe. Been going here for years. I get takeaway, as it’s very small and my severely autistic teen can’t handle it. But the food is great. Best sweet and savoury GF food options I’ve seen.

The food was really good. I had the southern fried chicken style burger. It was crispy yet not dry chicken. The sauce amazing, and the chips too. You know how you love a good chip? These didn't disappoint. The place itself very clean kept. The only issue I had was that we walked in and seated ourselves, helped ourselves to the menus. We hadn't been before, so being greeted would have been nice, and told to come to the counter to be served. The only time we were acknowledged really was when we went to the counter to order, And when the food was dropped off. We did give a wave and say how nice the food was. The only thing I can say is please rather than 3 people standing on phones or talking, just even say from across the room, welcome there's menus on the table when your ready come up and order.

Amazing service, delicious food and perfect coffee. Their bacon and egg special with a coffee is a 10/10.
Tyler G — Google review
After a quick glance at the menu, I decided to play it safe with the big brekkie featuring scrambled eggs and added avo—because, let’s face it, you can’t really mess that up. My partner went for the scrambled eggs on toast, also a low-risk move. Add to that two decent coffees and a chocolate thick shake, and we were looking at a $62 bill, which seemed like a bargain. First red flag? No sausages for the big brekkie. Instead, they offered extra bacon. Fine, we’ll roll with that—bacon’s always a win. But then the food arrived, and bam—red flag number two. The “big” brekkie was more like a “snack-size” brekkie. And, wait for it… no toast. I repeat: NO TOAST. A big brekkie without toast? That’s a culinary crime. The mushrooms looked like they’d been for a scenic drive around town before making it onto my plate, I had a sliver of tomato—basically tomato confetti—exactly six baked beans (yes, I counted), and the scrambled eggs seemed to have made a pit stop in the microwave on their way over. The only thing saving this breakfast from total disaster was the mountain of bacon (respect). When I asked about the missing toast, they promised to bring it out… which they did. But by the time it arrived, my “big” brekkie was already a memory. Final verdict: Pop in for a coffee (theirs is pretty good), but maybe pass on the food unless you’re into culinary plot twists.

Start your day off right at Vixen in Lorn, where breakfast is not just a meal but an experience. This charming café serves up a delightful array of classic breakfast dishes, all accompanied by warm and welcoming service that makes you feel right at home. During a recent visit for lunch with family, I savored the chicken, cranberry, and brie toastie alongside the mushroom toastie—both bursting with freshness and flavor.
We were a group of three trying this cafe for the first time at 10am on a Saturday morning. It was very busy in the area at the time so a fair amount of traffic and a little difficult to find a car spot but the weather was fantastic so once we arrived we opted to sit outside. We were greeted by friendly staff who quickly cleared and prepared a table for us. Our orders were taken with precision and our drinks arrived soon after then a reasonable wait followed until our food arrived. The food was hot, fresh, presented beautifully and most importantly delicious. The big breakfast was indeed big and difficult to finish but what a lovely problem to have! We all loved our meals, the friendly service from all the staff and the experience. The prices were reasonable for the quality and service provided. The only downsides are the traffic/noise and lack of parking when busy. I would definitely recommend trying this amazing cafe in Lorn, its now on my fave list so we will be back.

Let’s start with the amazing hospitality from the minute you walk into the door. We were greeted with warmth. I had the pleasure of indulging in the cheeseburger with fries , arancini and salad with crunchy chats. Each dish was a symphony of flavors. The cheeseburger was juicy and cooked perfectly, the fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside making it an irresistible combination. The arancini is an Italian classic and this was heavenly. The golden , crispy exterior gave way to a creamy and flavorful filling. Each bite was a burst of goodness that had me craving more. Beyond the outstanding food , the service was absolutely outstanding. All the staff were attentive , friendly and passionate for making us feel comfortable. The overall cafe itself is welcoming , cozy and they have air-con specially for this heat now in summer what a life saver. Everything was clean and well presented. This place is a gem. Compliments to the chefs!! They also sell takeaway sandwiches ,sweet treats and coffee beans. You definitely want to come here for breakfast and lunch. Make this your next outing you will not be disappointed.

I had lunch with my parents and sister on Thursday. My Mum and I went halves in the chicken, cranberry and brie toastie and the mushroom toastie. They were just so fresh and flavoursome. I had an apple juice, which had like a candied lime with it, such a nice way to present and top it off. My Mum and Sister had coffees, which they said were great. The service was fast and friendly. The place was so clean and welcoming. We definitely will be back. Thank you for a great experience.
