I truly enjoyed the lovely outdoor seating; The coffee itself was excellent—rich, well-brewed, and a real highlight of the visit. That said, I hope the team might consider a few small improvements to the service, shared here with the kindest intentions. 1) My family arrived and were initially seated at separate tables. When a larger empty table became available, I politely asked if we could combine into one. Unfortunately, the request seemed to go unnoticed, and we remained split. (If this request was taken care of, one of the below issue might not even happen) 2) A small mix-up followed at my parents’ table: a cappuccino and espresso arrived, though they ordered espresso and ice jelly coffee. Not wanting to cause a fuss, they simply enjoyed the drinks. Moments later, an iced coffee appeared. Meanwhile, at our table, we had to reorder an espresso that never arrived the first time. 3) Our waffles came with two small jugs of syrup, but no guidance on whether they were meant for the waffles or the avocado coffee. A quick word from the staff could have helped us pair everything correctly and avoid confusion. Clear communication goes such a long way in f&b, and a brief explanation or apology during these moments would have smoothed things over beautifully. All in all, the setting and coffee quality are real strengths—polish the service just a touch, and this café could shine even brighter.

Good hang out spot. The place itself looks old but they consist of a few section with more retro and modern vintage vibes. Tried the avocado coffee that was recommended. Its interesting, coffee shot is really strong with the avocado but the chocolate ice cream makes it very flavorful and nice albeit a little too sweet. The place is popular and quite filled regardless on weekday and weekend. It’s a nice local spot in the town to chill in the afternoon.

Lots of options for coffer beans, but they didn't manage it properly. They famous for the coffee avocado float, almost all table order ir, but i don't since only take americano. Place is crowded very non spacey

A bit of a shame because I am a first timer here. I should come here sooner when I am in town. Definitely worth the visit. Coffee is on the sour side but no bitter aftertaste, amazing. All snacks are good, from kroket, chicken wing, french fries, and butter croissant is top notch. All the food is great too, the rice bowl which is more like a bento is delicious. We'll come again soon. Order, pay, and enjoy your coffee and meals.

I actually don't know how to really feel about the avocado coffee. My opinion is very personal because I also not a coffee lover but someone who looks to try anything local enough. Somehow the combination of coffee plus avocado is kinda interesting for me... The both tastes are distinctive. I can see how this place can be a good hang out spot when it isn't crazy pack. I came on a weekday morning so it was really peaceful and nice.

After a long day, this will be a place to relax and chit chat with friends. Enjoyed the light snacks and particularly the avocado coffee is a hot favorite. I ordered the premium coffee long black. Flavorful and on the bitter side. Overall good experience, nice cozy environment.

A hugh restaurant serving nasi padang. I was asked to sit and they started bringing all the dishes over. I ate the veg and a fried chicken and the total cost came up to 53k, including a coffee, rice and free tea. Recommended!

We arrived at Padang on Friday and this Lamun Ombak was our first place to have our first meal. Serving authentic Padang food, the restaurant was crowded with people (we had our lunch, basically after Friday prayer) and interestingly to see how fast they cleaned the table and served new meals. Of 5 stars to rate the food, we collectively agreed to give 4.

Lamun Ombak serves really good Indonesian food — flavorful and worth the hype. The staff are very friendly and efficient, which makes the dining experience smooth despite how busy it gets. That said, the place is always jam-packed with people, and it can feel overwhelming if you’re not someone who enjoys crowds. Overall, a great spot for good food and lively atmosphere, but maybe not the best choice if you’re looking for a quiet meal. Weee bit on the pricey side

Very wide variety of dishes but taste wise average to below average. Grilled fish with chilli paste 👍 Fish head curry 🫲 Too strong kembangi smell - not balanced. Fried chicken 🫲 Ayam pop 🫲 Chicken was very fragrant but sauce too sweet. Should have a hint of sourness. Pecal 🫲 Good sauce mix but too sweet. Gulai chicken 🫲 Santan sayur 👎 Lacks fragrance. Rendang 👎👎 Very dry and overcooked. Smells like it was braised in black sauce. No distinctive rendang rempah smell.

Good overall experience at Lamun Ombak! We went there for dinner, looking for rendang, and we found much more! The array of plates set in front of you is daunting, but the kind and welcoming staff is there to help, guide and suggest! We came there to eat beef rendang, and opted only for a gado gado and multiple plates of rendang, with a side of rice. Service was quick, impressive and the food was good!

Our supir recommended dine here. It was a pleasant experience. Food is great most important is the hospitality.

The legendary coffee stall, the O.G, the 1st kong djie coffee still with the same set up, love the middle table where they put all the food (mostly gorengan and snacks), so you could mingle with other, the highlight is off course is their coffee, although the kopi susu is a bit too sweet for me, I prefer the hot coffee rather than the ice coffee (the hot coffee is only 12k and the ice coffee is 19k) must try the fried banana.

Said to be the first original kong djie coffee shop that has lots of branch all over Indonesia. Coffee is decent but its way too crowded, can be overwhelming at one time. The charcoal is there to boil the coffee but i dont taste any differences it makes. Price is affordable and open since early morning to midnight, good to accommodate all type of crowds

Legendary place to get breakfast in Riau. The coffee is too mild for me, but the sarikaya jam is superb! It is one of a kind, there is no place that has sarikaya like this. The texture and the color is durian like and it's not too sweet👍 if the can served it warmer it will be so good. The otak-otak is also amazing, reminded me one from Kepri 👍

Came to this place at 07.08 then 20 minutes later, this place was getting crowded already.. So, come earlier if you want to have more comfortable bfast and easy parking lot. The menu was lot of variants, just choose what you want to have. Service (staffs) was okla.. the later you come, the hotter you'd have :) no aircond.

Totally changed drastically since visiting this place a few years ago. The menu list that was given was only from shop partners, even though menus from Kimteng itself were still available, such as toast and coffee. Feels just so-so. Because of this, the feeling of comfort that is usually present is quite reduced. The price of menus are feel expensive with suboptimal services, maybe that time was Sunday morning so crowded.

This soto has a rich of spice flavor and tangy taste. They will provide you with extras. Of course I will eat with perkedel and mix it inside of the soup. The shrimp cracker is using a fresh shrimp. The place could be hot during the day.

If you're looking for the "local breakfast" here at Medan this place is definetely the option. Light meal yet delicious and warm for the stomach. It will be very crowded since many locals come here to have breakfast but that will give you the experience of the "breakfast like locals"

Soto ayam medan with coconut milk broth, quite savory. The rice portion is ideal, not too much. Condiments like fried shrimp crackers are available to accompany the main course. Don't forget to order Cap Badak drink with ice.

After 4 nights in Tuktuk I’m sorry to say that we only had our first meal here on our last night. The staff were friendly and the Indonesian food was great. Highly recommended are the Grilled fish with the andaliman (pepper) sauce and the rendang.

I had the fried fish with tomato sauce and white rice. The fish was deliciously crispy. The service was good and friendly. Five stars!

A casual place to eat with insanely big portions. The banana pancake was so unique and way too big for one person, I persisted and fell into a sugar coma. We were back the next day to try the potato randang and sweet and sour vegetables. The randang was the closest I’ve found to traditional randang so far in my trip, with lemongrass and whole spices throughout the thick pasty sauce, while it didn’t go super well with potatoes it did make for a nice vegetarian option. I’m sure the beef would be fantastic. The sweet and sour vegetables were your typical pineapple juice and ketchup sweet and sour (not a bad thing, but it’s nothing special). Nice chunks of pineapple and fresh vegetables made it a great sweet dish to balance out the spice and intensity of the randang. The two dishes which were incredibly cheap split between the two of us with a pot of tea and white rice filled us up so much we almost couldn’t finish it. I cannot express enough how large the portions are. It’s great. Service is slow, even when quiet, but that’s fine by me as the food is so fresh and there is only 1 or 2 people working at a time (both cooking and serving). Bring your computer and get some work done on the free Wi-Fi (code is on the front page of the menu) or chill out on the lounge chairs on the balcony. We stayed for hours working on our laptops. The staff are lovely and very accomodating, you’ll feel comfortable here as a foreigner, even if you’re a solo traveler. It’s usually quite quiet. I don’t have much experience with drinks here but the hot tea I’ve ordered has come with the sugar seperate which is great to get it to the sweetness level of your liking. To the owners, you have a gem here, keep it the way it is, it’s a fantastic place to eat.

Back in Medan after 11 years! First stop: Tabona — my family said it’s a must-try, and even Nex Carlos recommended it, so I had high hopes. I ordered the chicken curry 🍛 The flavor is richer and more intense than the curries I’ve had before: lots of spices, thick, and more like gulai-style. The chicken was tender and well-cooked. It’s usually served with vermicelli, but I was too hungry and went for white rice instead 🍗🍚 For my taste, it was a bit spicy, so i enjoyed it while also dealing with a bit of a kick I kinda regret not trying the coffee here too, people say it’s really good! Might come back for that next time ☕️

First stop after landed in Medan. I never liked curry, but tabona is an EXCEPTION! The curry is bold but not overwhelming, everything was perfectly paired in one munch. A noodle shop famous for Medan-style bihun. Located in the heart of Medan. The interior has an old Chinese vibe. The noodles are a bit, but the duck is very generous. The duck meat is tender, fragrant, and savory. The soup is rich with collagen broth, simmered for hours. Topped with plenty of crispy fried garlic for extra flavor.

If culinary heaven has a duck section, Bihun Bebek Asie is running the front desk. The broth? A masterclass in herbal sorcery. The duck? So tender it practically resigns from your chopsticks. Probably the best but also the most expensive bihun bebek. Although the meat is quite generous, some people may think it is not worth the price. The drink is also very expensive, Rp 40k for a small cup of tradisional black coffee, too much.

It was located around Old Town area. The waiting is around 30 mins. The broth alone was great. I tasted the bihun and duck alone and wondering how its supposed to taste. Was it supposed to be bland alone? Or you should add more broth as the seasoning? Or should you add soy sauce to make it savory? The bihun texture was great and they give such a huge amount of meats considering the price is 130k for one bowl.

Finally tried the famous Bihun Bebek Kumango! The broth was rich, flavorful, and fragrant really comforting. The duck meat was tender and well-seasoned, pairing perfectly with the light bihun. Porsinya pas dan bikin puas, apalagi ditambah sambal khasnya yang bikin rasa makin nendang. No wonder this place has such a long standing reputation! Definitely a must try when you’re in Medan.

The best rice noodle I've ever tasted. Plus the duck was so moist and flavorful. I also like the chilly sauce and the fried garlic as condiment. I ordered 1 bowl for sharing with my partner and 1 soft boiled egg. They also understands how to gove best serbice to the guests. One minus point was they only accept cash.

This is the best place to taste Mie Koba in Pangkalpinang. Mie Koba is a traditional noodle from Koba, a city in Bangka Tengah regency. What makes this cuisine so special is the soup or kuah with a fish-like taste but not fishy. You can also add boiled egg as a topping and don’t forget to add a little drop of lime to make it more freshy. This locates in city centre and reachable.

As a first timer mie Koba tester, the taste was rather strange for me. The thin noodle was a little chewy. The fish broth was not so thick. It was served with fried shallot and cellery. Fortunately the portion was rather small.

Reasonably priced with generous portion. The Cafe has the Outdoor Garden Style with many spots for photos. It has plenty of stone tables by the beach which provides a scenic view of Lake Toba. We were served well by Kak Lisna who is friendly and informative. She told us that the frangipani flowers are not just decorations. It is edible as well. Will definitely come back again…

Recommended vegan restaurant around Tuktuk Samosir area. Dine with green and lake view. Came on evening time is better for the lakeview spot. It was so serene there. Foodwise, indomie goreng never go wrong. Ice cream dessert was the best. And a very kind service by the boy & girl children waiter. 👍👍 Very much room to improve to make it the best vegan restaurant in Samosir.

Incredible vegan food in a gorgeous, peaceful garden by the water, that is super well-kept and decorated with beautiful mosaics. Staff is very friendly and laidback. We had both breakfast and dinner here, because it was just that good😍

For those who are vegan, dont worry when you are on Samosir Island, you could have your tasty brunch or dinner here. Borobudur House is a pure vegan place and it also non smoking place that set near the lake side. So you could enjoy your dish in the calm garden or on the lake side enjoying incredible scenery of lake toba and the mountains. . I loved their guacamole with home made chips. For the chips, one is original onion chips and another one is chocolate onion. Can’t really tasted the chocolate but it suits well with the fresh taste from the guacamole. . Their home made sorbet ice cream also great, sweet and tasted almost like the ice cream that we used to have in Kesawan, Medan, The one next to Bata Shoes Store. Here they have various flavors such as Dragon Pineapple, Pinacolada, Dark Chocolate, Mango Coconut, Passionate Mango, Strawberry Coconut, but i tried the Durian. . Their Hawaiian Fried Rice is like every other Hawaiian Fried Rice, nothing special but it stills tastes good. There are many other attracting main dish you could try or you could also checkout their daily’s special. . 💲25k IDR for Ice Cream Sorbet. 💲35k IDR for Guacamole with Chips. 💲35k IDR for Hawaiian Fried Rice. 💲15k IDR for Lipton Hot Tea.

You need to accept the place is full of Buddhu and related things. It is worth it because the food is amazing for very good prices. The location is far out from the normal tourist areas of the island but we'll worth the visit. Recommend a walk along the gardens and exploring all the details of this peaceful location. Services is outstand and the alien directing you to the bathrooms if needed is awesome. Just don't understand how a vegan cafe can have a cat. Hope it are not forcing the cat to be vegan.

Thanks to google that we can found this noodle shop. I think this is the noodle shop that you have to go when you visit Belitung. The noodle shop is located near our hotel (BW Suite Belitung). It just took us around 10 minutes to go to the noodle shop. It was not difficult to find the shop, you just need to follow the google maps. It was not difficult too to find the carpark or motorpark. Please be informed that the noodle will be served with pork. So it was not halal. Beside pork, fishball and pangsit will also be served. The taste was yummy. The price was reasonable. Our understanding that the shop only open from morning until afternoon. I would like to recommend this noodle shop. Please keep up the good work.

Bakmi babi at its best. The noodle were thin and chewy. Topped with pork and bean sprouts only, served with fish ball soup. The taste is quite bland, you can added soy sauce, chilli sauce or even vinegar to your liking. Don't forget to order their jeruk kunci drinks to ends your food journey.

One of the best noodle breakfast in belitung, The best "Kunci" Orange Juice. Very friendly staff, good hospitality. Taste just ok, pangsit and fishcake a little salty.

My second visit to this Kok Tong at Jln.Sutomo.. The situation was not has any changes. Coffee general taste was just like common arabica but Kok Tong had a different smells other places could not offer. Minus: Smoking area.

The most famous and most crowded Kok Tong Coffee branch at the heart of Pematang Siantar city. Kok Tong offers traditional brewed coffee that has been recognized for years by the locals. Taste of the coffee is still maintained with good quality till today. The coffee shop was also kept with traditional ambience. Cleanliness was ok. It is a good place for just having meal or hang out with friends and families. Smoking is allowed here. Pricing was standard. Payment is available by cash only. Parking is at crowded road. If you make a visit to Siantar town, you must drop by here.

I came here because its popularity. Waiters were very rude, has no manner. I expected a low standard hospitality as many old and famous restaurants/cafes in this city - Pematang Siantar; but these two particular waiters were very rude. I still love the coffee, but will have it in different Kok Tong cafe, not here. When she served my hot black coffee, I asked politely for additional ice (and will pay for it), and she replied, “why you didnt tell me earlier”, raising her tone. Never enter this stall anymore. Not recommended at all.

A must visit place for coffee lover. The coffee is quite strong but taste good. Bakpau is also delicious and the recommend one is either pork bakpau or the red bean, so if you’re looking for Halal food, please be aware. The shop itself is quite classic and they were established in 1925 based on the sign in the shop. The service is fast so you don’t have wait long for your coffee, even in busy hours. Typical coffee shop: crowded, noisy, smoke from cigarette everywhere but, if you don’t mind with all of that then you come to the right place. Location is easy to reach but in busy hours, good luck finding a parking spot and a table. Overall, this place is worth to visit and feel the taste of Pematang Siantar coffee.

This coffee shop has been serving the thirsty and enlighted coffee seekers in Siantar since the 1970’s. Basically it serves coffee, black or with milk, iced or hot, with some variants in between. As a shop it was initially roasting and serving coffee before it improves into selling the coffee beans as well. During busy hours be prepared to queue, and anyhow you will have a seat. As far as I know, the cups are pretty much basic, not to stark and not bitter. This house blend has been around for years and it seems it will stay for another few decades.

One of the iconic coffee shop in Siantar. You need to be lucky enough to grab a seat there. You can taste the sweet roasted coffee aroma with just one sip. This is the first shop they opened and quickly franchises out all over the North Sumatra.

I love bakmi aloi in Jakarta, but this is another level of bakmi because right here mr Aloi himself cook the bakmi, what an experience to taste the OG version of bakmi aloi in Palembang, definitely will come again whenever I visit this city 🍜🍝🫨

One of the best Bakmie! Taste is always maintained by the humble and very kind boss. Ngohyong also very good. Price is affordable. If you are dissappointed with their branch at Jakarta, please try and give chance to the original one. You will be surprised with the gap of quality. Unfortunately in the morning there is no pork skin fried.

The owner/founder/chef is still here and there, captaining the kitchen, occasionally checking cashier. I want to take a selfie with him, but am too shy to ask 🙈 The crew are happy, easy to talk to, amiable basically, not quite attentive. They are very efficient and many, that is why this joint is clean all in all, bravo!^^ The crowd are robust, busy enjoying the food, the companionship of family, friends, acquitances and in between *lol The walls are full of 2D advertisements, three by two monitors are repeating the same adds - vehicles, hotels and spa 😁 The dining area is legit to smoke. Superb ventilation but, could be quite hot during dry season. One merry buzzing-like-a-bee surrounding, if I may say so 🙂 The food itself is still yummy, legend. Not much on the beverages nor desserts. Will I come back?^^ Yes.

Soto Garuda is one of the legendary culinary recommendations in Padang but it feels a bit salty on the tongue, perhaps a difference in taste. Apart from being salty, the soto is quite delicious

Tahu kentang was good, the sauce is different from gado-gado.

I was expected way lot better on this legendary name of the Soto. But it was served a bit cold, not sizzling hot, maybe that's why the soup tasted too salty. Yes, it's way beyond salty, but still edible. The chicken & beef diced is generous. The place has lots of seatings. Free parking is a plus perks.

A legendary Soto spot in Padang. They serve soto with beef chunks with a quite clear soup base. I enjoyed the Soto with additional Perkedel (Frikkadel). Truly an enjoyable option in the city.

The place is comfortable, got a nice Air conditioned room. Quick service, nice price and delicious tatse. Yet the cut of Paru is too thin, I almost can't taste the chewy texture of those Paru. But still okay. For the Gado-gado, it's too sour for my taste.

Great food - banana fritters are to die for! They also have awesome accommodation. You can't book online but if you call/walk in and ask for the bungalow, you won't be disappointed. We paid 125,000 per night. It's simple but functional and clean, and the lake is literally 2 meters from your doorstep.

The worst McDonald ever. Orders were chaotic not served properly. The place was dirty. There were so many children (and even babies) after 10PM and so many adults were smoking inside the shop. Cant believe these two were happening at the same time. Customers did not return trays. The floor and the table were filthy. This place was just like traditional market and should not be called McDonalds.

No self-service touch screen panels, some of the dishes I asked for weren’t available, and the combo actually didn’t include the drink shown in the picture. Overall, the food wasn’t tasty and it’s expensive for Padang. The good part — you can pay with a credit card, but that's it.

Nice place to hang out and good food

After looking at some recommendations for authentic Indonesian the cuisine (non-chinese influenced), i decided to give this a try and it was near my hotel. I ordered lontong sayur, lupis and had sate kerang (cockles). The lontong was good for my taste buds - delicious but not noteworthy. Portion is decent. The gravy is quite spicy. The crackers don't heighten the flavor profile either. Lupis had the right texture not too hard, the syrup was sweeter. Staff was quick to take order and not offering me a look at the menu. It was my first time, perhaps should not assume I know the menu? Upon payment, they do not provide receipt as well. For non-indonesians, don't be surprised when they serve you sate kerang and an assortment of fried snacks when you dine in even though you didn't order. You won't be charged for these unless you consume them. I would recommend this place for tourists who are seeking authentic Indonesian cuisine. As for me, it's not something I would visit often.

Great authentic food here. You must try their Lontong Medan, which is their specialty here. It tastes very good. I think they put some peanut paste in the Lontong menu, which makes its flavor rather unique and delicious. Recommended

I ordered Lontong with beef rendang. The food taste okay overall, I had better before. The lontong is firm and cooked perfectly. It is spicy, be careful if you dont like to eat spicy food, you might want to ask the waiter/server not to put the sambal or spicy vegetable dishes. Service is good, waiter and servers are nice. I asked many questions and they answered all nicely. Very attentive and welcoming (in medan way 😀) Atmosphere is okay… “local wisdom” or kearifan local in bahasa indonesia. People smokes like nobody businesses, this is very common in cities outside jakarta… which I don’t enjoy so much as I don’t smoke. All in all, you can try this. But next time I go to medan, I will go to eat lontong medan in some local traditional markets

Way too pricey for lontong sayur. Tastes like regular lontong sayur, but you can add various toppings: egg/chicken/rendang/combined. Too spicy for me though.

I like their lontong , basically it's curry and similar to glutinous rice. Alot of chips, Tempe, vege and I asked for perkedel i.e. potato. My friend ordered nasi uduk, quite nice also. Each meal plus drinks (Ice tea) about IDR 33,500.

for foods, we ordered es kacang merah, roti bakar kacang, and pisang goreng coklat keju. most of the foods were too sweet (esp. the pisang goreng and es kacang merah). if you prefer smoother blend of ice for es kacang merah, you'd better off look for other local shops of es kacang merah elsewhere in town. the drinks are okay though. we ordered black coffee (kopi o) and kopi tarik (we requested less sweet), and we have no complains. beware that the plain black coffee without may be too strong/too bitter for your liking. appreciation for the great service and staffs. services were quick and staffs were friendly.

Tung Tau coffee shop is a legendary shop in Bangka island (since 1938). Currently there are several Tung Tau coffee shops on the island of Bangka, and there is even a Tung Tau coffee shop on the island of Java. But the first Tung Tau coffee shop, was in this Sungai Liat sub-district. The main dish is kopi-o (black coffee) and is best served with toast. They said they made their own bread and asides, using recipes that have been passed down from the first generation of shop owners. I give 4 star for the taste of coffe and toast ⭐⭐⭐⭐

First of all: we had an accident with another car because of the stupidity of the driver. I booked a van from the guesthouse going to Padang. It was raining a lot and that idiot picked me up and then started to run like a crazy man on the wet road. Luckily nobody got hurt but he could literally kill all of us. About the stay, room more expensive then other areas in Sumatra, no hot shower, and bedbugs(many of them). Anyway, food was tasty, loved their gado gado, the view amazing, u can also rent a scooter to have a ride around the lake. About the staff I have to say that they have been very friendly and helpful. The egg, tomato, and cheese sandwich and the potato omelette were simple but elegantly tasty. What really stood out, though, was how clean and cozy everything felt. Lovely retro 90s traveller feeling here, complete with banana pancakes for breakfast. The views from the resto verandah are stunning this lake is so beautiful. Swimming straight off the porch with little fish underneath. Owners are friendly and helpful - rooms basic clean white sheets and towels. Wanted to stay longer!

We loved our stay, what a beautiful location, can't beat that sunset. Friendly and helpful staff helped us book transport and rented us a scooter to explore the lake. The restaurant had a nice selection of local and western food.

As a backpacker I stayed here in 1993 and - after more than 30 years - returning to Beach Guesthouse felt like stepping back into the good old nineties. Same beautiful spot right at the lake, same amiable family that runs the place and still the same positive vibe. It was great to be back here. The rooms are also still very basic, so if you're looking for luxury, this isn't a hotel for you. However, if you are looking for warm hospitality and a relaxing atmosphere in an idyllic setting, then this might be the place you are dreaming of. The adjacent Bagoes Café 'n' Resto serves delicious food, great juices and cold beers. And as you gaze across the calm waters of Lake Maninjau, you realize that life isn't so bad after all... Staff is super friendly and can help to arrange your onward transport. Motorbikes and bicycles are for rent if you want to go around the lake. Good to know that the lake is a popular getaway for local tourists and day trippers at weekends, so it can get a bit more crowdy (and noisy) in the guesthouse. During the week you probably have the place almost to yourself and it’s just peace and harmony.

The owner is very friendly, helpful and speaks fluent English. The place is quiet so you can relax and fully enjoy the time out of busyness of cities. Scenery of the lake is stunning. The food is delicious and prices are friendly. Room is simple, mattress comfy and blanket warm. The bathroom would deserve a bit of maintenance especially the water pressure. In general we had a great time in Beach Guest House

When I visit Lampung, I ask my friends for Lampung's food or restaurant I have to try while I'm in the city. It has been very good until I tried this Mie Lampung, this one is my least favorite. It is okay but nothing special. Noodle texture is not my faves, the broth is not that flavourful either. Pangsit is acceptable. Ayam Rebus is alright, since I am from Jakarta so I taste far better than this. I also tried their Susu Kacang, too damn sweet and watery to me. If you are also a tourist like me, I would say you skip this one. You won't regret it.

A noodle that originally comes from Lampung itself. The taste is good but i thhink it's still a bit pricey. They really have quality and i think still worth the price then again. The meatball is pure meat (not too many 'tepung') and the pangsit is really good!. Heard some people say the boiled chicken menu (ayam rebus) is the favourite by order.

Filled within 5 minutes of opening! (See picture) Place is well run by Pak Rudi, and food is delicious. Try their Ayam Rebus (salted, steamed Chicken)! Best I have ever tasted as far as I can remember!

A bit pricey for food that tastes the same as other places

Bopet Radjawali Juanda has some tasty food like beef soto, gado-gado, and their famous "air mata penganten" cendol. The flavors hit just right, but the portions are pretty small, so it feels kinda pricey. Service can be super slow, especially when the place gets crowded. The vibe outside isn’t the best either—lots of street performers and beggars around. No separate smoking area, so the smoke can be annoying. Plus, parking is a struggle since space is really limited.

One of my favourite restaurants in Padang. Service is good, food was even better. It was busy thou. We enjoyed our soto and also tried their local tea with duck egg (if am not mistaken). Its really good.

Best place to get soto in Padang since 1958! The soto itself tastes so good with all the spices and the meat feels like a mini jerky cus how crunchy it is, but I wouldn't recommend this place to get your belly done since how small the soto and the rice portion is. As for the service it is alright; not the most fancy one, and the atmosphere I wouldn't recommend dine-in cus it's always crowded on lunch time; and if you're planning to dine-in on the 2nd floor, just be careful since the stairs are quite steep. Overall I would love to get another soto from this place. 6.8/10

One of a good place in Padang to breakfast. Theyre provide many soups menu, also they promoted a beverage named 'air mata pengantin' which has a different appereance from Melayu ethnic beveraged.

Famous place for breakfast in Padang. Their specialties are soto daging, gado-gado and cendol air mata penganten. The broth is clear and yellowy (from turmeric), served with laksa, perkedel (potato balls) and diced beef that is a bit crispy on the outside, so good! The cendol is a must try as well, a bit too sweet but very refreshing!

Very nice place for breakfast. Their soto is very delicious and rich in flavour. If you order the soto for takeaway, the portion somehow multiplied (1 portion can feed 2 people). Try their Air Mata Pengantin too, it's sweet and will cool you down.

Visited the first store of @thecoffeenatics at Teuku Cik Ditro. Such a homey and calming hangout space filled with warm lighting and aesthetic looks around the corners. Always love their amazing coffee from the espresso based to their manual brew with their best line up beans.

A lot of good foods, from local to international delicacies, tempting cakes, and also coffee beans and their own nespresso capsule. They also sell their own merchandise items. This place has a very sophisticated indoor and outdoor seating area. The staffs are super helpful and very polite for sure.

The best coffee ive ever had in the entire indonesia!!! The house blend is sooo gooood! I didnt have any expectations, i just wanted to have my daily dose of caffeine but it shocked me. The taste is well balanced, full body, slightly acidic and fruity. The staffs especially Tegar (I hope i pronounce his name correctly) provided the best service, ensuring u get the best seats, and patiently explained about the beans. I’d defo come here again if im in Medan!

Definitely one of the more pricier cafes in medan city but it has a nice cosy atmosphere and the coffee smells so good too! ☕️ unfortunately I don’t take coffee. In any case the eggs Benedict that I got was so good - there was so much fresh salad on the side (maybe a bit too much even 😂), and the eggs were perfectly poached 🍳, while the toast below the eggs were sooo good?! Super fluffy!!! Highly recommend ~

The moment i step in here it was surprising. The place is gave off a very morden take to the old design of a coffee shop. Got the latte and the sandwich (blackcurrant) and they not only look, they also tasted great. The customer service was great and there's even free WiFi here. It was a great experience here overall and i would gladly come again the next time i come to dumai I would highly recommend tourist to come here too if your hotel is nearby for coffee or tea.

An cool oasis cafe resto on a soft white sandy beach. A real pressed coffee, Euro breakfast & lunch and local menu, cold beer plus a friendly coffee shop style. A must stop off when travelling the surf trail at Krui. The glorious beach here is gentle shelving sand, not reef so fantastic for a cool dip and play in the surf.

The coffee is roasted, ground and brewed freshly -amazing. There is not an entry that costs more than 25-30K. The bread is fresh, fluffy and hearty. Generous amounts of avocado. Eggs cooked perfectly. Attentive and friendly staff. Ate here 4 out of 4 mornings in Toba. It is one of those places that you know there is no reason to bother eating any place else. So good!

Lovely breakfast and coffee spot. Lam who runs the place is very friendly. Coffee is good (they have oat milk for no extra cost) and their guacamole toast is incredible! If you are vegan, she will do the guacamole toast for you without eggs and charge you less for it to account for the no eggs, which is really appreciated as nowhere ever does that! Couldn’t recommend this place more, came here every morning during my stay. And it’s great value!

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in all of Indonesia. Their western menu items are amazing actually authentic. The strawberry croissant sando was amazing and the croissant if fresh. I was skeptical with how many menu items they have. Usually places with large menu and fancy appearance have low quality food, but not here. I only had a few dishes but I imagine everything they have is good. Will be back again before I go back to America.

Lots of food on the menu by the way .....various food so hard to choose The service is kinda a bit here and there because the restaurant has 2 ways to enter (from the front door and the garden, we went from the garden) So because we went from the back parking lot so obviously we entered the restaurant from the garden n spotted our table outside n reserved our menu there n the garden was instagramable + there's live music also

Would definitely come back for more! They have indoor & outdoor seating. The interior is great, very minimalistic & it's calming as we came in the morning. Their coffee is very good. We had their piccolo. The menu was a good mix of appetizers, breakfast, asian kitchen, pastas & waffles. Their coffee is definitely the best. I'm not sure if this place is dog-friendly. But I brought a dog & sat outside, and nobody told me anything. I guess if you make sure you take care of your dog, should be ok. I got nothing much to say, buf I definitely love this place & would come back!

It's a good choice if you want to have your me time. Food is okay, the aglio olio might need a bit improvement & a bit too oily, taste wise it's okay. The staffs were all friendly & nice.

I love this coffee shop. The place is small but cozy. It is little bit hard to find, but when you come in, it is so nice and cool. You can also sit in the next restaurant/kitchen tools distributors, but order here. It seems the owner is the same. The food is great. I order fried rice and the taste is great. Their coffee is also great. They provide espresso based coffee and manual brew. They have local and international beans from their own roastery. I try their Ethiopia, and, as other Ethiopia, it is so great. They also sell roasted beans here, both local and international beans. It is suit for having meals/coffee/small discussion or just chit chat/or spending time alone and enjoy your self. Highly recommended..

Nice place to hang out with friends or to work The staff was very friendly. The menu selection was quite wide. The only downside to this is the fact that they all came out very late. Of course, I came during peak hours and there are plenty of people. But still, I think I have to mention it so you can adjust your expectation. The taste and portion was nice though, and I can clearly understand why it is popular. They have plenty of parking space.

I had a decent experience at New Town Coffee. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly, but the coffee didn't quite meet expectations. It was a bit on the lukewarm side and lacked the bold flavor I was hoping for. The selection of pastries was good, though, and the seating area is comfortable for working or relaxing. Overall, it's a nice spot, but the coffee could use some improvement. I'll give it 3 stars for the ambiance and service.

The food tastes great! My experience visited Newtown Cafe so far was a complete satisfactory. The ambience, the service and the food was all satisfying. Worth the price! Only the parking slot was the problem, place quite crowded with limited parking slot. Cleanliness of the toilet was 7/10, but still considered clean enough. It's a cafe for grown up without kids stuff and far from kids friendly, an additional of children playground might be nice! I would recommend this cafe for hang out and lunch!

Cozy place, delicious food and drinks, always crowd in the evening, helpful staff, they have outdoor seating, the food price are high but worth the Quality and taste, u won't get dissapointed after u eat. Overall this place is good enough to hang out with families, friends. One of Bandar Lampung's Recommended Cafe u should try.

It'll be nicer if the place is smoke-free. The food is nice although it's a bit expensive IMO. My favourite dish is 'otak-otak' (grilled fish cake wrapped in banana leaves). I think it's the only diner in Padang that sells otak-otak.

What an amazing coffee!!! The best I’ve tried in while and certainly the best in Padang. They do also have nice food. Love it!!! I wish it was open the all day ;)

Beautiful place, great view with a lovely atmosphere. It is quite busy in the evening which means it is a popular spot. We ate here a few times, food is good but not the best on the beach. I think it is a little but too oily for my taste. Prices are really good 20-30k, portions are small but for the price you can order two different items from the menu. Coffe is 10/10

Hip, very popular local and tourist coffee spot to sip and watch the surf from. Good coffee that they roast themselves that you can also buy to take home. I was not impressed with the food- tasty but expensive and in small portions.

I came here because it looks crowded and lively, but when i got there there’s a long line that was barely moving, when we got to order there were a lot of menu that wasnt available, the food and the drink was okay, nothing to write home about. The view and the seat setting were nice, maybe u go here just for the vibe

Cozy restauran in the 2nd floor, but I dissapointed with my steak salmon, it take very long to served, the steak also very dry, meh... not worth the wait.

I would say this is a great place either to eat or just to hang out. I usually sit on the second floor because it’s more quiet. But at night it’s usually getting more crowded. They have live music performances on some specific days. The problem for me is: the smoke. Visitors usually smoke on the second floor, though it’s somehow a semi-open room, I guess the fans make the smoke trapped in the room. This is really inconvenient for people with breathing problems.

Kedai Kopi Bahagia located at jl. Imam Bonjol Sibolga city is very popular cafe that provide you a nice taste of coffee for brekfast or hang out with friends 👍🏼

Not bad, the staff are very helpful but the management need to ask them to follow health protocol by at least wearing mask during pandemic time. First floor full with guests also doesn't wearing any.
