Phoenicia Diner is a classic American eatery that offers traditional comfort food with a modern twist, all sourced locally. The diner has a friendly staff and accommodates seating requests. While they don't have appetizers, their side orders can serve as starters. The beer-battered onion rings and avocado toast with corn and poached egg are highly recommended. However, some dishes like the chicken tortilla soup need improvement in terms of temperature.
Absolutely worth the hype! We stopped by Phoenicia Diner and were blown away. The pancakes were fluffy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, easily some of the best I’ve had. The staff was amazing: super friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. From start to finish, it was a fantastic experience. Can’t wait to come back!

Vintage chic diner serving quality, local, “real” food. We loved the 3500 plate comes with little bit of everything you want for a diner food: one pancake, one piece of french toast, one pork sausage, some bacons, and eggs. We also ordered the scrambled eggs with smoked trout that comes on a hot skillet served with toast. everything tasted fresh and was well made. will come again! plus, the swags are cute!
Clare C — Google review
Nice diner, friendly service but they could not get fried eggs without runny yolks right. My wife had ordered medium eggs. When it has come out runny she asked if they could cook it so the yolks weren't runny. They remade the eggs but it was still runny as the first. She asked if they could just give her eggs that had hard yolks. The third time, one would expect to be correct but the eggs were still as runny as the first. She finally gave up and ate around the yolks, resulting in a disappointing experience. The rest of our meals turned out fine. I had also ordered a coffee which never came.

We finally had the chance to dine at Phoenicia Diner—and it was so worth the wait! Every time we’ve come before, the line was over an hour long… and now we totally get why. This place is a must-stop for anyone visiting the area. Let’s talk about the food—their pancakes don’t even need syrup. Seriously, they’re that good. The French toast with local maple syrup was amazing, and the freshly squeezed orange juice was the perfect touch. Oh, and don’t skip the baked beans—absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is cozy, the service is great, and the food blew us away. We’re already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!
Aleli N — Google review
Worth the hype! Expect to wait but everything we ate was delicious, no complaints. Very friendly staff. Clean and cheerful atmosphere. All our food was delicious. I wish I had time to try more. Can’t wait to come back!
Kimberlly V — Google review
Came here 2 days in a row(Saturday and Sunday) first one was great had a wonderful server. Today ordered coffee and there was chunks in my half and half after having the server replace the creamer 3 times she threw a fit and then came back and offered to get more. I attached pictures of the half and half and what my coffee looked like(Saturday it wasn’t like that at all) so we apparently inconvenienced the waitress.
Vanessa B — Google review
Can't Give 5 stars on reputation. We all just got full on reasonable food, nothing special. Overall we felt it's overrated. Kept hearing about this place for years. Driven by and long lines of people outside & cars lining the road that didn't fit in parking lot. We caught it on a less busy time. If we had waited a long time, I really would have been frustrated. My teen liked the breakfast platter but wouldn't eat the large sausage. The beet reuben was tasty but too cheesy for a vegetarian /healthier version. My husband just picked the beets out of the 2nd half. My chili was veg, but flavor was one sided. No cornbread :[

Loved this diner! Everything tasted so fresh and delicious, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. The mimosa with fresh orange juice was the perfect touch. Definitely a great spot to come back to!

Bread Alone Bakery is a long-standing family-owned bakery located in the heart of Woodstock. Since 1983, it has been known for its organic wood-fired breads, European-inspired pastries, and cafe fare. The bakery uses only the finest organic grains and wood-fired brick ovens to produce a variety of breads such as French sourdough and peasant bread, along with delectable pastries like croissants, scones, tarts, and Danishes.
Super cute bakery. Was driving home from a weekend away and my friend yelled "STOP!" She had been here before. It was first time - won't be the last. Great treats here and staff is super friendly. I got a sticky bun. My friend left with a big bag of stuff, lol. She was a happy camper, that's for sure! If you are ever in the area - stop and see for yourself.
Theresa J — Google review
Delicious bakery and deli options for dining. Their coffee is always delicious as well. I ordered the broccoli salad and it came out quickly. The bread that came with my salad was filling and had comforting flavor. This location almost always has a line on the weekends and there are limited seating options so keep that in mind!
Midori G — Google review
We really enjoyed our breakfast here! It was so good that we had to come back the next day. We tried the spicy green eggs, the pecan-cashew-walnut butter, the ricotta toast and the avocado toast, the friend egg bun and breakfast burrito. The bread is so so good and we bought a loaf to take home. We also bought some pastries and tried the coffee, which were fine, but not the highlight. Service was great. The place was really busy both mornings we were there but we were able to find seats.
Donella H — Google review
The whipped ricotta toast was mind blowing. A lot of places have been doing this but I find the ricotta a lot of times flavorless, but this one was perfectly seasoned throughout, the honey gave the saltiness a nice balance and the squash was perfectly paired into the toast. Needless to say the bread was also incredible and I chose to add egg in it for some extra pop. I loved the breakfast burrito also which was very simple but everything done right which is hard to find surprisingly. I finished with the mocha which was also great too, definitely check this out if in Woodstock.
Elton D — Google review
Amazing pastries and it's evident why they sell out of stuff so fast. The items here are just too good to pass up and are a must try. I was visiting family from Texas. It was my first time trying a Canelé and I was blown away. It was so good that I actually went home and ordered a dozen copper molds to make them myself. And ever since my trip I've been dedicated to perfecting them. My girlfriend also had the ricotta spread on their house toast and loved it!
James M — Google review
Adore this cafe. Great coffee, bread, pastries and breakfast dishes. Friendly staff. Super efficient. Their outdoor seating is a great place to soak in the morning sun and people watch as you sip on your coffee.
Christina R — Google review
Branch coffee place with decent selection of breakfast sandwiches, toasts, cofees and baked pastries. Buckwheat bread is great, so is Vegan Chocolate Spelt Pound Cake - phenomenal!

Restaurant
Roscoe Diner is a vintage eatery serving classic American dishes like breakfast, burgers, wraps, and cocktails. Visitors praise the friendly and familiar atmosphere, making it a great local spot to enjoy a meal. The diner offers WiFi and serves as an excellent source of information about nearby stores. Many patrons appreciate its nostalgic charm, recalling fond memories of stopping by during road trips or college days.
Be sure to stop here if you’re ever in the area! The historic Roscoe Diner is always always a visit our family makes whenever we’re on our way to our property near Sidney, NY. Everyone here is always super friendly, and the food never disappoints. Atmosphere is nice as well. Parking lot includes Tesla car chargers.

Stopped by for brunch. And of course it was busy with a quick 10 minute wait. It has the classic diner feel and vibe. You must try the boozy milkshake it was delicious. Not my favorite bourbon but hey it’s in a milkshake. Wife reported the pancakes were awesome. I had the pastrami, Reuben.it could use more of the pepper punch for my liking. We ordered a slice of peanut butter pie to go. I would’ve preferred that with a graham cracker crust. Overall, the flavor was good. The service was spectacular and had a great time with our server. Would definitely go back again to sit outside.
Michael B — Google review
Pretty solid! It’s very fast and the service is fast. A good vibe. If you’re gluten free, the options are pretty much a breakfast plate or a burger with no bun. There are a few healthy options, like a turkey burger on lettuce with fruit and cottage cheese. A weird combo, but it was decent. The home fries aren’t my favourite (could be crispier) but they’re decent. Their cookies and desserts look really good!!
Cassia A — Google review
Seems this is the place to be! We needed a spot for a late breakfast and the reviews led us~ What a fun diner with so much to look at. Clean and the service was quick. We arrived at 11:30 which is past the 11am mark, when they replace hashbrowns with french fries. The omelets were typical diner omelets. The waiter apologized but that's the policy. Desserts look great but we didn't have any
Maura K — Google review
Great pit stop on our road trip upstate. The staff was very friendly. Their options for cookies were amazing! I think we tried 6 flavors out of the 20+ options. Each one was terrific! We also had a quick brunch. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Will definitely stop by again!
Sadia C — Google review
I enjoy coming here when visiting my son at a nearby college. It’s convenient with easy access to the highway and across from the gas station. I’ve never had a wait when I’ve come. The staff is friendly and provide great service. I overheard them talking to a senior customer that comes in frequently, and they really made him feel special. I will always appreciate people that go out of their way to make others feels special. The food is good. I had the onion soup, which had a lot of cheese which I always prefer more cheese than less! My son had the eggs Benedict, which he enjoyed as well. And you can never go wrong with sweet potato fries!!!
Lara G — Google review
I visited the Roscoe Diner several times a year for about 15 years, but haven't driven through that area for the last 20 years. So, when I recently staid a few days on Chilloway Rd, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to stop and see how the diner was doing. I'm happy to report that the corned beef hash covered with two eggs over medium is as good as I remember the dish from past visits. My one complaint was that the potatoes were too greasy for my taste. My wife ordered a breakfast sandwich, and in her case the hash browns were underdone. The same cookie, pie and cake display was viewable as we walked in, the decor was retro, and the service was very good. From recent reviews, I had read that many people found that things were slipping at the diner. That may be. But, I really enjoyed my corned beef hash and eggs.
N N — Google review
Great nostalgia and food was good! I recommend the panini. Service was excellent. Only concern was the bathrooms were very dirty and foul smell. Not sure the last time they were cleaned.

Brio's is a popular dining spot known for its wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas and a wide range of Italian and American dishes. Visitors rave about the thin-crust brick oven pizzas, with some mentioning their enjoyment after a long hike. The restaurant also offers an impressive drink selection and delicious desserts. Guests appreciate the great service, tasty food, and reasonable prices.
My wife and I came here for dinner while staying at the Urban Cowboy Lodge. The place is pretty simple. More pizzeria than cafe/restaurant but food was great, great beer and alcohol selection. Several vegan or vegetarian options. The personal pizza was much bigger than I expected. I'm so used to joke portions these days that it's a pleasant surprise to get a good amount of food on your table. Definitely coming back if I'm in the area again.
Aryeh P — Google review
The food was delicious even if the service seemed a bit slow. In my opinion, it was a bit expensive, but it wasn’t that bad. The crust on the pizzas was really nice! Usually when I get wood fired pizza the crust is burnt, but this crust was the right balance. Good sauce to cheese ratio. My partner got the chicken broccoli alfredo pizza (?? I think that’s what it was called lol) and I got just a plain pepperoni. Both were very good and made great leftovers.
Cassidy J — Google review
I stumbled upon this restaurant unexpectedly, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. I ordered the lamb burger and the clam linguine. The burger was juicy, well-seasoned, and served on a perfectly toasted bun, while the linguine came in a generous portion with clams that were fresh and flavorful. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes to choose from, which makes it even more appealing. We had a wonderful time here—truly a hidden gem in the village.
Patrick M — Google review
Got a personal size New York style pizza to go. It was a decent pie. Good for two people. The dessert fridge is heaven. Got slices of pumpkin cheesecake and German chocolate cake. At $8.60 a slice, it's pricey but very tasty.

Food is always good now. Has been improving over the years. Much more than just Pizza. Recently enjoyed the shrimp wrap and several pies. Leave room for desert.😎

Great food! 1st time there. Beautiful quiet town. Stunning area in all seasons. We had an unexpected Great lunch. Very hearty and tastey. Place has outdoor seating too. Place needs some thorough cleaning though.
Lucy M — Google review
I'm not here to sugar coat. It's the end of October. Flies everywhere. Undercooked sesame pizza dough. "Wild mushroom" pizza is not wild mushroom and if you ask the waitress she has no idea what the mushrooms are and makes no effort to ask the kitchen (I forage mushroom and based on what I saw they were just shiitake and baby Bella's; not wild) if you put "wild" on your menu don't be surprised when someone asks where they're sourced and what they are because obviously we all know wild mushrooms can kill you if not properly identified. Instead they just list it that way on the menu to sound 'upscale'. Yeah this place has been here forever. Yeah the have a wood fired oven. But they turn tables quickly and undercook the pizza and don't have any passion for produce or ingredients. 3 stars easily. Dont take your success for granted. I also use truffle oil (both black and white) frequently at home and am very familiar with its pungent flavor. They didn't use any like they claimed to on the menu. Mediocre at best with a bunch of Karen's working there who seemed miserable. When she failed to identify the mushrooms or what they are said "well at least it taste good, right?". So lameeee

Placed a large order over the phone and it was made quickly and all the customized options were correct. Prices were reasonable and the menu had something for everyone. French dip, pot stickers, schnitzel, salads, were all delicious and had great flavor.

Located in New Paltz, Main Street Bistro is a casual and welcoming eatery that has been serving up delicious American breakfasts, lunches, and weekend brunches for decades. This modest joint offers hearty meals in a relaxed atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a satisfying meal. Whether you're looking for creative egg breakfast choices or generous portions of fresh ingredients, this bistro has something to offer.
We found this place randomly one Sunday so we decided to try it out. It was very busy and the servers were very short. The food was fantastic and we have been back multiple times since. I would chalk up the service experience the first time to business. The service was much better the other times we went and the food continued to be excellent. The trailblazer is my favorite dish. The crab cakes are so absolutely delicious. We will be back many times again! Do not miss out on this gem of a place.
Robert G — Google review
My boyfriend and I got recommended this place for breakfast and went to check it out! The place was super busy (we went on a Saturday morning), and the food took a while to come out, but overall we enjoyed the food and thought the place was super nice!

Very popular but you can see why good fast friendly service and great food dishes The Salmon hash was really good. Large bustling interior caters for a crowd. You would be hard pressed to get better value. Good bottom less coffee, with a meal.
Graham S — Google review
The menu here is huge, it took us quite a while to figure out if we wanted breakfast or lunch; everything looked so good! I got the Trailblazer, which was an eggs benedict with crab cakes. It was really tasty, had a nice spicy kick to it and the eggs were nicely poached. Definitely a meal I'd come back for. My wife got the salmon hash and her friend got a burger. Both enjoyed their meals as well. Overall this place has made it to my "will come back" list, and I'm excited to try more of the menu!
Bryan T — Google review
This place without fail has some of the best breakfast in town. It will be a wait for a table, it always is, But it's worth it. My personal favorite is the trailblazer. But on that note, I have not been disappointed with any meal that I have ate here. The servers are great . Been the same staff for ages too. The vibe is nice too. Definitely worth the wait. Great food.

WOW! Visiting New Paltz, this is my girlfriend’s favorite spot. I had THE best Salmon Benedict Hash of my entire life. Our server was super informative and pleasant. The young lady who served showed us to our table had the coolest earrings. Highly recommend this place for brunch on the weekdays and get here early on the weekends. Line is out the door
Giancarlos G — Google review
From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel entirely at home. It's the kind of place that makes you feel like a regular, even though you're stepping in for the first time. The menu itself is really big and diverse. We ordered 3 different dishes, each was reasonably priced for what you got, and completely delicious. Will definitely stop by again.
Talal J — Google review
We were around the Catskill and decided to check this place out for breakfast as we saw good reviews however the food was very average. I got the huckleberry folic wrap which is one of their popular option, it was ok nothing to rave about, it was very average not much flavor. My fiancé had the pancake and scramble eggs. The pancake was raw not cooked long enough and the egg was bland as well. Turkey bacon wasn’t good either. Their coffee is great though and the waiter was extremely nice which made up for the average food. We will def not return as even the most basic breakfast stuff like we did get was a miss.

Deising's Bakery & Restaurant is a long-standing venue known for its freshly baked breads, cookies, and custom cakes. They also offer daily breakfast and lunch specials. The bakery section offers a wide variety of delicious treats such as turtle cheesecake bites, crumb cake, cheese danish, tiramisu, cupcakes, apple crumb, and carrot cake.
I ordered my wedding cake for my small at-home wedding on September 21 and was blown away by the stunning piping work they did - just like the inspiration photos I sent! The cake was delicious, too! The price was very fair - $95 for a beautiful decorated 12 inch round cake with fresh strawberry mousse filling.

They did such a beautiful job for my daughter’s birthday cake. I requested pink edges and they went above and beyond for the piping work. On top of that very reasonably priced. It was definitely way less expensive than I thought it would be for a bakery cake. I got a chocolate cake with vanilla custard and whipped cream frosting. The piping was done with buttercream I think but it was DELICIOUS. My daughter turned two this past weekend and as soon as she saw her cake she couldn’t wait to dig in. We didn’t even finish the happy birthday song before she tasted the frosting lol. I will absolutely be ordering from here again. I wish I got a better photo of the edge piping. It was so cute. And the sprinkles they chose were adorable. Loved the little hearts. Also the ordering process was SO easy. They understood clearly what I wanted and made the process as smooth as possible.

Came for the donuts, the donuts were good. They were soft and somewhat fluffy. The apple fritter was more of an apple filled donut that was glazed. The cinnamon roll was ok, kind of reminded me of a boxed cinnamon roll but slightly softer. My favorite thing was the Crumb cake, super soft and great flavor.

Disappointed. I Purchased breads and a few desserts. Everything was previously frozen. Both were still thawing when I got home. This was a normal business day. Not a holiday rush. Black n white cookie tasted 3 days old and coconut macaroon dry. All were old. Bakery selling old as fresh. Shame on you.

Always loved getting breakfast here sadly it’s not the same anymore. My favorite Greek omelette very dry very little tomatoes and hardly any feta cheese at all. My boyfriend’s Spanish omelette dry and disappointing as well. The new owners are cheeping out and ruining the reputation of great restaurant and it shows many empty tables. I’ll be going elsewhere.

So I asked for a picnic themed cake and I got fondant laid onto my 2 year olds cake. $36 for this my 5 year old could have done so much better never coming here again. Don't go viral and start making crap.

We drove there, 1hr 40mins for a quick brunch and to enjoy the foliage on the way up. Got there at 2:10pm and were turned away because the kitchen was closed, but the website says they close at 3pm, I asked for an exception because of the distance we travelled and still no. I was there last year and enjoyed the food and the bakery, so today they were our destination. OK no lunch, ordered a whole cheesecake and assorted pastries totaling $40. I requested a bag especially for the larger cake and was told they don’t have bags that size. Then when I go to pay the first question is what amount tip percentage, are you kidding me, for over the counter service? I paid, snatched my three boxes and bolted out of there. Never again, I’m good, that’s just no way to do business. 3pm closing is misleading. Bags not big enough for the larger cake boxes?C’mon folks. I was so looking forward going up there just to enjoy the ride, scenery, and have a quick brunch, and we previously enjoyed their baked goods, but we’re done there!

Still the best onion rye, but the place has changed. We tried eating lunch but never saw our waitress. We wound up walking out. Even purchasing bread was an unpleasant experience. Online ordered breakfast, and they no longer have homemade hash. It was hash of disappointment. Would go back for the bread, will not try breakfast or lunch again though.

Catskill Mountain Country Store in Windham is a charming gift shop and restaurant that offers a variety of souvenirs and delicious food. The store features an array of interesting trinkets, while the restaurant menu boasts a good selection of dishes, including desserts and ice cream. The outdoor area is equipped with two pirate ship playgrounds, swings for both kids and adults, picnic tables, and a petting zoo. Additionally, there's a forest nature trail leading to a small waterfall.
Catskill Mountain Country Store & Resturaunt has to be one of my highlights in visiting this area. When you enter the establishment, you first go into the store where you can buy handmade mugs, a variety of items for your home, homemade jams, hot sauce, honey, and fudge Then you enter the restaurant section of the store. The breakfast here is top-notch. I had the banana buttermilk pancakes, and they might very well be the best buttermilk pancake I've ever had. Amazing! All the food items are locally sourced, which I'm a big fan of. My wife also purchased a variety of fudge that she has been enjoying. Outside, you're greeted by two of the most lovely cats in existence. There are also areas for your kids to look at farm animals and a play area. Definitely give this place a visit if you're in the area. It's worth it!

The pictures of the food do no justice , even though the presentation of the food doesn’t look like much - the flavor and quality is very obvious when you taste everything . I’ve been here a few times and I always come back whenever I’m in the area. you can tell a lot of love was put into the whole property - the free play areas for the kids, the animals on site look well loved and happy. Got to see the sheep and goats eat their breakfast and they looked so happy . The gray cat in the store (smoky) is also adorable and very friendly . Staff is very welcoming and friendly . The store has some nice variety of merchandise . Everything in the restaurant and store is very fairly priced . I really can’t say enough good things .

A quick weekend trip. I went with my boyfriend for a quick break. To upstate We had a great time and went to this place for breakfast. I loved it. I was amazed by everything there. The service was excellent, everything was clean, farm-like, everything was natural and very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. I recommend visiting it if you escape to the Upstate

Love this place! Amazing food! I had grilled cheese with sauteed apples and bacon on sourdough! Yum! Then spent fun money in their wonderful store! Adorable kids' books, canned goods, pumpkins. EVERYTHING! Would love to go back for the buttermilk banana pancakes!

My kids were having an absolute blast on their playground, but I was having an even better time watching my lunch get prepared! I got to witness my cook run out to their garden and pick the ingredients right there on the spot. This kind of thing has only happened to me once before, on a trip to a tiny island outside of Naples, Italy. To find that same fresh, local feeling right here was a nice surprise. If you want a meal that's as entertaining (yes, they have the sweetest little farm) as it is delicious, you've got to see for yourself!

The first time my husband took me here,i was shock. They had a chicken just walking around outside not bothering nobody. The inside was amazing. We went in to to walk around and i saw this huge black stuff bear name Pancake and i tried to take it,but he was too expensive and we didn't have nowhere to put him at.We went back again and Pancake was still there, but hubby brought me Pancake Junior and i love it.Sadly to say,we went back last week just to get there pickles and Pancake was gone.He was sold and i was not happy. But,the cashier said he was in a good home and that all matter to me. You will enjoy yourself in this store and they have so much things from food, clothes, games, toys, etc. A very good store. We will be back.

Found this place on a day trip for a hike up in Windham. I went for a hearty breakfast before the hike. Our server was attentive and the food was tasty. My friend had the apple orchard pancakes and I had the Catskill omelette. We sat outside and while we waited we played cornhole. They have farm animals that they care for that are so amusing to look at if you are seated outside. Overall it’s a good place to get a bite before or after any activity. Oh! Don’t forget their homemade hot sauces!!!!

Wow fantastic! This place rocks. Excellent food (try the French toast) and drink (lots of homemade options like peach tea) and a fun festive atmosphere. Great store chock full of local gifts. Cheerful quick service. And what's really great - there is a free farm with animals like goats and peacocks and pigs, and a little trail to a water fall, and three playgrounds for your kids! This place is wonderful!

During our spontaneous road trips, my spouse and I enjoy exploring various diners for our breakfast. The Liberty Diner did not disappoint us in any way. I opted for the delicious combination of two eggs cooked sunny side up with chicken fried steak, accompanied by home fries and whole wheat toast. On the other hand, my wife ordered scrambled eggs mixed with spinach and cheddar cheese, along with home fries and gluten-free toast.
After two disappointing encounters with Diners on the trip, I have to say we were third time, lucky. Although this is a diner, the food here is a notch above your typical diner food. The space itself is huge with a lot of different seating areas. as you enter you are welcome by shelf full of cakes and pastries, and it was very hard for me to resist ordering a couple of them, but I had no space after the breakfast. We ordered a bunch of breakfast item, and I got the eggs. Benedict over crabcakes while my friends got the French toast and the omelettes. Everything tasted great. Although the crabcake was not very crabby, and I am sure they used some form of imitation crab, but given the price, it was still pretty good. The omelettes were very well made with a lot of fillings and the house potatoes to go with, that were very good as well. I loved the French toast with the Nutella, and it was gone in minutes. The only let down was the coffee and it was a very bad quality of coffee. I wish they invested in better coffee beans. Overall, a really good breakfast place.

As our family was leaving the Catskills we wanted to stop for breakfast. Liberty diner was the perfect stop that was enroute to NYC. The diner is very festive, upbeat, and lively. Loved that they are one of the very few places in the Catskills opened late hours. Large variety of choices on the menu, the food is very good, coffee was great. Service was excellent. Loved that they serve cocktails if your in the mood for a glass of wine after a long road trip, or other spirits. When visiting the area this will definitely be a place I visit for a sit down, bite to eat.

On our way back from NYC, we stopped by this lovely diner. The food was fresh and delicious. The portions were enormous! The service was quick. Our waitress was extremely nice and very accommodating. We had a great meal and an excellent time there.

Ordered a greek chicken salad and it came out underseasoned, watery, and gummy. Still better than another guest's burger, which he asked for medium-well but ended up overcooked to death. To top it off, staff was unfriendly and inattentive. 2/10 - Never again
Matthew H — Google review
Dated and typical for a diner. Service was horrible our waitress was inattentive and we had to ask other waitresses to get ours before we even got to order. We both ordered (medium) steak and over easy eggs, buttered white toast with well done hash browns. We received none of that. Both stakes were very rare, the eggs were snotty & not over at all. Hash browns were blonde no "well done" in sight. The toast was the only correct thing. Our waitress had neglected to came back to check if "everything was ok" after bringing out our breakfast. When we did get someone's attention finally to address our incorrect order,it was 8 minutes later, that was even after asking another waitress to ask our waitress to come out to the table. The manager of the establishment did come to the table and attempt to get correct our breakfast but at that point I had lost my patience and just wanted to go. They did comp our breakfast but we left hungry and that is not the purpose when you go out to eat at an establishment. This is not our first disappointment in this diner we had eaten there several times before in the last 5 years and have been disappointed every time honestly & this time it had been almost a year and a half since our last visit and we thought we'd try again BUT to our dismay nothing's changed there. Food and service still disappointing. I have no more "chances" to give this diner. 3/31/25 We returned RELUCTANTLY and they did not disappoint with disappointing US as usual. I attached the picture of our "well done" home fries and when we Questioned why they weren't well down or even browned... We were told it's hard to cook them well done. Although our waitress was very apologetic it doesn't rectify the constant issue for this place to meet our demands for the food we requested. How many times do I need to be bitten by the same snake before I realize it will always be snake? 🐍

Clean, bright, and a huge menu. Food was delayed however, the waitress was apologetic and explained there was a new chef training. Food was delicious. I am vegetarian and had no difficulty finding a meal. My partner loved his breakfast at 8 O'clock in the evening. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I were in the Catskills for a weekend and we absolutely loved the Liberty Diner. We enjoyed it so much that we went twice. This family owned restaurant treats everyone as if they are family. They strive to make everyone feel at home with their kindness, delicious food and their sincere interest in the customer. They are one of the only restaurants in the Catskills that you can actually go to and get served at 11 PM during the week and midnight on the weekend. We never felt rushed. As a matter of fact, one night we were there past midnight and were never made to feel as if they were closing and we needed to leave. Kudos to the Liberty Diner!

The diner's homely atmosphere and diverse menu cater to various tastes, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for everyone. Had a great breakfast meal on a Saturday. Dined outside and only had to wait five minutes for a table. Service was excellent and attentive. Food was hot, fresh, and tasted great. Standouts were the mushroom omelette and the French toast. Also loved their home fries! Would definitely dine again when in Kingston.

Had a perfectly fine meal in this long-standing institution in Kingston. Met a friend here. One of us was in a breakfast mood the other for lunch. Both were easily accommodated as could dinner be accommodated if you were in that mood. Fairly standard Diner menu with a large selection of egg dishes for breakfast sandwiches wraps, Panini, etc. for lunch And salads had a huge selection as well as Italian dishes, broiled fish, meat, selections, etc. Their soups change every day. We sat in a booth near the window and it was perfectly comfortable. Companion had eggs Florentine, which was pretty much eggs Benedict with spinach. Came with a pile of home fries. He was happy. I had one of my favorites, the happy waitress sandwich which if you’re not familiar as an open faced grilled cheese, normally served with tomato and bacon on white bread. I modified it to use rye bread and no bacon. I also got an order of coleslaw rather than the included fries. It’s an impossible dish to ruin as all it takes is melting the cheese on top of the bread. If you look at the picture, I was a bit disappointed that the bread was not covered by the cheese, however, in a very pleasant conversation with the owner on my way out, she pointed out that rye bread is a lot bigger than the white bread they usually serve it on. She had a point. The coleslaw was amazing. Finely shredded with just the right amount of mayonnaise and sugar. The owner told me they get a huge amount of takeout business for the coleslaw and I’m not surprised. The service was unfortunately not great. It was efficient, but the waitress was not at all friendly. An attempt to make a joke, or even comment on her love is greater than hate T-shirt did not evoke a response. Thank youse did not get your welcome in return. It was actually the bus boy that came over and asked me if I would like a glass of water, never offered by the waitress. A perfectly fine Diner and when in Kingston, I would certainly return. Next time might try the desserts.

Food was tasty. Prices were reasonable. Waitress could have been more attentive and explained there was a $1.00 upcharge for English muffins. I would return for another meal. For two people the check with tax and tip was $40.00.

Was a bit weary coming to this place due to mixed reviews on here. But this place had a bit higher rating than the other diners in Kingston. Our waitress was very friendly, food came out in under 10 minutes. Seems like many locals come here, staff greeting them with friendliness. Atmosphere is nice diner feel. I ordered a veggie breakfast wrap. It was very delicious with egg, spinach, onion, & broccoli and came with potato hash. Also ordered strawberry waffles, strawberries were obviously not fresh, from frozen and way too much whipped cream. It’s what to expect w diner food, stick to the basics eggs, pancakes, omelets. Really good price, group of three we all ate under $11 each.

What a cute atmosphere, paired with delicious food! We came here for breakfast and ordered blueberry pancakes and a breakfast sandwich. The service was excellent. Plus, both dishes had large portions. Expect to spend about $25/person. 😋

‼️‼️‼️ EXPIRED ITEMS‼️‼️‼️I strongly do not recommend this place, they gave us 3 month expired hot sauce and it has visible mold. Very old place, and not a very warming atmosphere. The older waitress was very sweet and kind until the expired food was brought up to her attention. The food took 45 minutes, there was no other people in the restaurant. The waitress said “chef is very tired today”.
Anna D — Google review
So we got lunch here today. There was no one in the restaurant, keep that in mind. Ordered two club sandwiches, a “shake”, and a salad. To go. It took 45 minutes. Insane. The salad was meant to be a Greek/mediterranean style. The menu item described feta and a slew of your typical asking of a Mediterranean salad. What was there? Hummus as the dressing (not mentioned anywhere), GREEN BEANS(??), broccoli, zucchini, celery, etc. it’s like they took what they had left and just threw it in there. And it was instantly soggy when opening the box. The sandwiches had GIANT pieces of lettuce (pictured). It made no sense. They were supposed to come with fries. They came with roasted potatoes, carrots, squash, stuff. And some weird celery salad underneath that made it extra soggy. Also, two pieces of cubed watermelon and two pineapple. All just there against the sandwich. The shake was meant to be a berry frapple, sounded good. Not really sure what we got but it’s mostly liquid and didn’t taste like almond milk as advertised. Maybe coconut? It was just not what was described on the menu. On the way out, the server or whatever she was said “our competitors are leaving horrible reviews. Can you please leave us a good one?” I seriously doubt its competitors. It’s patrons that are unhappy with food this establishment didn’t properly deliver on. Other reviews that mention similar things are accurate. If you go, ask questions and keep a menu to confirm what you get when it’s ready and served to you. Also, it’s way too expensive for all this. I’d approve of the cost if we got what we wanted, and WHAT WAS STATED ON THE MENU! Sorry, that deserves caps.

We had the pleasure of being served by Maggie herself and had such a great experience. Maggie was kind and fun and gave us so many great local recommendations. The food was so fresh and phenomenal. The blueberry pancakes were fluffy and flavorful and came with some fun sides like a lentil quinoa salad. Highly recommend!
Richa T — Google review
This restaurant is a breath of fresh air among the mountain fresh air. My husband and I came in on a Monday morning which can be a feat in itself since a lot of restaurants close on Mondays. We were greeted by Miss Maggie herself who made us feel welcomed and was apologizing for being a one woman show. The coffee was absolutely delicious and we got some complimentary fruit plates. The menu has a lot of options and additionally we were told by Elizabeth who was working the day before that Maggie would gladly make us anything if we asked. It immediately feels like you’re at your busy aunt’s house but she always has time to serve you and make you feel welcomed. I had the Miso soup upon her recommendation which I’ll be honestly initially didn’t excite me but she made sure to tell me it’s not your typical miso soup, and she was not lying. It was delicious and had so much flavor and healthy ad ons. My husband ordered a massive cheese omelette and corn beef hash and I got the potato pancakes both entrees came with a delicious spring green salad. She’s making everything to order so it does take a little longer but the restaurant itself has so much visual appeal and interest to keep you busy while you wait. From the music to the actual Krooked windows there’s so much to keep your attention. Anything we asked for she willingly and excitedly obliged. Is it going to be an in and out experience? No so if you’re looking for quick go to a fast food spot. The prices for us were comparable to NYC prices which we are used to, however the ambiance and individualized attention and care is not. Maggie makes you feel like family. We will definitely keep Maggie’s Krooked Cafe in our rotation when we’re in Hunter.

Loved the experience here with our fairly large party of 17 people! We got hungry for lunch after a hike in the area but were unable to agree on a single cuisine. Decided to try this diner after reading the reviews. Lots of options - everyone found something they like, from bison burgers 🍔 to rice and lamb shank 🐑 to Korean steak tacos 🌮 to grilled haddock over rice 🐟 to wraps to breakfast fare. Highly recommend the Korean tacos and the lamb shanks, they stood out with their beautiful executions. Would love to return!

I ordered an eggs benedict but with no egg and add an extra piece of ham (I swear this is not a complicated request if you just think about it for more than 2 seconds), and they gave me a plate with the ingredients..... I ordered from the diner so I wouldn't have to do all this; f I wanted to make this myself, I would have gone to shop rite and pay less than a third of the price, just to get this same thing. I know everyone has a coma whenever I ask for breakfast food with no egg, but this has to be the dumbest thing I ever seen

A classic American diner spot only a 10-minute Uber from Resort World Catskills I was pleasantly surprised by this diner. The interior beauty harkens back to the classic American dining experience with a hint of extra class found in the wooden liveries and warm lighting. My coworkers and I came in for a late lunch and had a seamless experience that came with well informed recommendations on the menu from the polite waiter whose name unfortunately escapes me. The food was excellent, a healthy mix of classic Breakfast diner options with other home stay meals that were very fair portions for the price.

Ambrosia Diner is a well-established American establishment that offers a diverse menu and generous portions in a traditional setting. During a mini day-cation, this charming eatery caught the attention with its cozy ambiance and enticing aroma of deliciously prepared food. The staff was warm and polite, although the absence of spoons and napkins at the table was perplexing. Nonetheless, the French toast ordered was enjoyed.
This. Chrome, glass, and neon diner has plenty of parking and plenty of seating. Is located conveniently close to I 89. I had a Gyro, which was stuffed with lamb. And the sweet potato fries on the side or among the best I’ve had. The white staff were professional and were hustling. But, I didn’t see any of them being very friendly. I’m not sure if that is a management expectation. But since the place wasn’t busy, it would’ve been nice if someone had taken a moment to say "hello" and "welcome" instead of just asking "what do y’all want?"

We were on the way back home and got detoured off the highway, well I'm glad we did because we spotted this gem of a diner. This place has been open since the 1960s and the atmosphere is amazing, very nostalgic. The waiters are very nice and the food was made in great time, no long wait. The pancakes with real vt maple syrup was great, the sausage gravy with biscuits is also homemade. The food tastes like homemade classic dining which is what i expected. Driving from PA to VT, stopped here for lunch halfway through our trip after a Google search. I wanted breakfast for lunch, so I was looking for a diner. Server's English was not great, so it was difficult ordering a "make my own" omelette, and I did not get the Rye toast that I ordered. The "fruit salad" was very sad. For a diner, at least what I'm used to in NJ and NYC, this was disappointing.

I just got done eating there with 2 other people.. The food was ok but our waiter was terrible. He forgot the side of toast, He forgot to make the bacon extra crispy, as I had asked for. Also, we had to track him down for refills. We all kept running out of our drinks quickly because he was putting too much ice in the cup. I questioned him about so much ice being in the cup. I explained to him because of so much ice in the cup that I was empty after only 3 sips of my soda. He looked at me and said ohhhh I dunno. He played dumb with me so I gave him a five dollar tip on a $63 dollar lunch. That's what you get for playing dumb with me. You are not so smart now are you??

A little on the pricey side, but everything tastes amazing! The home fries are absolutely packed with flavor, probably the best I’ve ever had. First time visiting based on a recommendation from family. Was pleased with everything. The food presentation was nice and photogenic. Service was friendly, prompt, and helpful. The food is on the pricey side, but it's well made and the portions are larger than I had expected. The dining area and kitchen looked clean. I like the open kitchen concept for this place. I ordered The Mio Breakfast with eggs over easy. My partner had a Black Forest Ham & Cheddar Omelet. I was impressed by the eggs in both dishes as they weren't overdone or rubbery. Eggs are some of the easiest things to cook, but also the easiest to mess up. The fact that they have this nailed down is a good sign in my opinion. I added a tiny bit of salt to the salad that was basic, but appropriate for the dish. Bacon and potatoes were nice and crispy. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys breakfast foods. I look forward to coming back to try some of the lunch options.

Good food but we will NEVER spend our money there again. Unfortunately, they have a horrible waitress that has ruined our experience on two separate visits. She is the worst waitress Ive EVER had. She was rude, short w us and acted bothered by even having to wait on us. She actually dropped our plates on our table, rolled her eyes several times and then sprayed the side of my boyfriend w windex when she carelessly cleaned the table next to us. Second visit was worse and I finally said, “you can smile.” We were so shocked by her rudeness that I called and tried to talk to the owner, who I figured would want to know. Surprisingly, she was super short and didn’t even apologies for the terrible service. No wonder the staff feels comfortable acting unprofessional, since the manager didn’t seem to care. I will avoid this place and continue to share my experience with family and friends. I will also TAKE THEM OFF our recommendation list for our air B&B.

Baked meatloaf, sugar-cured ham & other American dishes served in a roomy eatery with a retro vibe.
Great old school local diner. Every time I’ve been here the food has been good, the service fast, friendly, and quick. It’s got a very relaxing vibe inside, you can sit at the bar or at a table. Everything I’ve had on the menu so far has been good, with quite large portions. If you’re in the area. I recommend stopping in.

I had high hopes for this place. It looked like a vintage soda pop diner from the 50s. The outside was very appealing but then the food came and it went downhill from there. Several things were wrong about our order and when son ordered a salad but had blue cheese on it, which wasn't on the picture on the menu. He was told to just pick it off. Then came my dish the Tuna melt that looked like it came from the can with government cheese on it. I was not impressed. I still left a 20% tip because the waitress tried her best. But just had high hopes for this place and was let down.

We were staying at the hotel across the street and decided to walk to grab some breakfast from this cute diner. Wonderful atmosphere with very friendly staff, fast and attentive service, and big breakfast portions. Made us feel like we were eating at someone's home - very welcoming and cosy vibes. We also felt very safe and clean - plastic curtains acted as dividers for every seating area too! Only downside was that I wished there was more "UFO style decor" to go along with the name.

Hey folks please pay attention to the item prices and calculate your orders correctly prior to checking out, me and my husband have gone here a few times for breakfast before church and the total is beyond what the menu prices reflect. I ordered French toast scrambled eggs and small oj, my husband ordered 2 eggs hash home fries small oj when I added everything after seeing my bank statement the total comes up to $23.46 (menu prices are online) my bank statement shows they charged us $39.29. Not the first time I’ve noticed this and I won’t be going there again; seems like they’re charging you more to eat there; or shady business happening. Thank God we have the funds however Right is right wrong is wrong . Overall we enjoyed our breakfast.

Upon sitting at our table, our group noticed a foul smell. Upon looking up, we saw a section of the ceiling covered in mold. A strong scent of bleach hung in the air, I’m sure in an attempt to clean the mold, and as it was making out party Ill, we asked to move to the other side of the restaurant. Yes, we should have walked out, but we thought: surely it can’t get any worse? We were wrong. Look, I just wanted eggs and toast ok? The waitress very snarkily moved our seats, took our order. Upon getting my order I was happy! Finally, my hunger would be sated. Alas! As I dug into my home fries, out spilled a fly onto my eggs (see exhibit 1). I took it to our delightful waitress, who looked at me, deadpan, straight in the eye, and she asked me “would you like us to remake it?” I was floored with incredulity, and responded with all the decorum I could muster, and replied, that I absolutely would like them to remake it. Well, one meal later, that I couldn’t finish (see you later appetite), and the check came. (Side note, my lovely friend’s turkey wrap with cheese came sans cheese) The waitress would not comp the meal; to her this all seemed fairly par for the course. So please dear reader, do what we didn’t, trust your gut, and don’t hesitate to turn around and walk (run) far away from this place

Being from Long Island, there is no shortage of diners. We came to the Catskills for a 3 day getaway. Tilly's diner was one of the best highlights of our trip. We were staying at Resorts World but wanted to explore the area. This diner makes everything from scratch and has a great classic old diner feel. The servers were very friendly, the prices were great and quantity/quality of food is amazing. We ended up coming to Tilly's 3 times over 3 days rather than eating at Resorts World. We highly recommend this diner.

From NJ with plenty of diners, this diner felt like home 😉 We came in for dinner on a weeknight after traveling 2.5 hours in the rain. We were seated right away. Waitress was welcoming and food was served fresh and hot. Food was good and you won't be disappointed!

We had a great visit at Tilly’s. Recommended by a staff member at the Best Western, Tilly’s was a short walk away. Staff was attentive and friendly. We each ordered the turkey dinner and wow! An incredible amount of food and delicious! We could have shared one meal, but it was so good we both left stuffed. If in the area, I would highly recommend.

Circle E Diner is a charming hometown diner located in Hancock, NY. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to catch up with family and friends. While some visitors have experienced slower service due to limited staff, the food is generally well-received. The menu offers classic diner fare such as burgers and fries, BLTs, and hearty breakfast options like the Sportsman breakfast. Locals particularly rave about the delicious pizza served at this quaint establishment.
Don't let the outside fool you, this diner has fresh and delicious food! They have gluten free options (waffles, pancakes, bread and pasta). The pancakes were so light and fluffy I had to ask the server if she was sure they were gluten free. Generous serving sizes too. My dining partner got the turkey club on rye bread. Delicious sweet tea. It's a small place so service is slow and they try to turn tables fast. Only disappointment was we got our bill too quick and didn't get a chance to order dessert!

My wife and I stopped by the diner after a long day. When we arrived, we initially wondered why we didn't get someone to acknowledge that we are waiting to be seated. However, we later learned that there was only one person serving, and there were several large parties. So, the wait was expected. We shared the fried chicken dinner with french fries and a small house salad. The fried chicken was well deep fried, maybe even too much, and was a little dry. But, the breading tasted good. The salad was fresh however the onions were a bit overpowering. The french fries were good. Kathy, the server on staff, did a great job of handling all of the people that were in the diner at the time. She was very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere didn't seem like a diner at all. In fact, looking at the menu items on the walls, it appeared to be a pizza place. However, when we got the menus, it was clear that they could serve a wide variety of food. All in all, it was a good experience even though we had to wait longer than we would normally expect to be served.

Family-operated serving wholesome food, including Italian dishes. In the rear room is a cute clock which on the hour chimes "Let It Be" by the Beatles. In the front section are booths and a countertop. Clean bathroom and parking for about eight cars. There are a table and chairs for dining al fresco.

I'm 44 and started to come to this diner when I was about 5 years old, with my grandmother. Still love this place, and now I got to bring my son here. The food was good but the staff was a little on the lacking side. Took a very long time to bring some bacon, eggs, and breakfast items to our party. But other than that, it was good.

Very nice experience, would definitely come back. I had the "Tuna Melt" on rye. It was perfect! Others in our group of 7, ordered a large "Meat Lovers" pizza, it was amazing. They also serve breakfast all day, two in our group got "Blueberry Pancakes" and the pancakes were about the size of the plate

Typical diner fare in Hancock NY. I had dinner there and breakfast the next day. When you come in there is a sign that says wait to be seated but there is no one there to acknowledge you. If you walk 1/2 way back into the diner someone will seat you, otherwise you will be standing for quite some time. Food was good (dinner okay and breakfast good) and service was timely and friendly. Lots of locals using salty language so I wouldn't bring my children there. Overall fine for the area and I would eat there again.

Food was delicious and service was very good. Fresh food and nice server. I would have given a 5 star but the bathroom needed a lot of cleaning. One of the stalls was filled with toilet papers inside the toilet and the water looked like it will overflow. The other stall, you couldn't close it. The walls were dirty in the bathroom.

I can’t stop thinking about our breakfasts here. Yes, we came twice in three days (they were closed the second day or we would have been then too)! Not only is the hot apple cider and cold brew top tier but the food was incredible! Best quiche and crispy bacon. Will be back hopefully in the future all the way from Florida. 🥳 Oh and the side of greens! Loved the healthy start with the side of pastel eggs and home fries. Amazing and reasonably priced too!

Great place to stop when heading to Catskills from Albany. When we got there 4 pm. It was not crowded. Great food, service and you can also eat inside a screened in porch. We will be stopping here again. The hand made quiche was delicious and the food was priced right. A little something for everyone and steps above a diner.

While passing through, we stopped here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon at the recommendation of a local person, and we were not disappointed. Soup and salads were tasty and fresh. The owners seem eager to provide quality food, not the usual fried stuff. Cobb salad had fresh mixed greens and was topped with warm bacon and chicken breast pieces. Black bean soup with pork was the soup of the day, very tasty with a mild “kick” (possibly jalapeño). We didn’t have the daily quiche, but glad to see that was an option. Seating area is small (maybe 30 seats) but not cramped; some seating on the porch outside as weather permits.

Nestled in a charming locale, Kings Valley Diner is the quintessential spot for anyone craving classic diner fare. As soon as you step inside, you're enveloped by a warm and welcoming ambiance that feels like home. The friendly staff adds to this inviting atmosphere, making every visit feel special. The menu boasts an impressive array of beloved dishes—from fluffy pancakes and hearty burgers to crispy fried chicken and comforting pasta options like chicken cordon bleu and buffalo chicken mac and cheese.
b.overly_delicious @kings_valley_diner Kingston, NY: Everyone has the one diner they grew up with. The one they spent late hours sipping coffee and smoking cigarettes in until the morning sunrise. For me that was the Barclay Heights diner, but for my kingston friends it was Michael’s. Kings Valley wasn’t on my radar (KVD for short) but maybe that’s because it was called Texas Lunch until 2001. I was already mostly done with my late night cheese fries and gravy faze by the time it changed names. Some people swear by KVD, but I never had a reason to change my spot. I found myself here over Christmas break and was pleasantly surprised. Pierogis with bacon (I’d say lardons) and fried brussels with honey sirachi and chipotle mayo were passed around the table. Steak salad looked spectacular and my burger was exactly as expected. Everything was delicious. We had a much better experience than the last time I was at EverReady. They were totally packed. The food itself is delicious, clearly made with care and quality ingredients. Been there several times, the place is hit and miss. They offer free refills, but the waitress doesn't go out of her way to refill your soda. On several occasions, there was flies all over the place. We had to swat them throughout our meal until we left. There were a few times when there were no issues, YMMV. One of the better diners in the immediate area.

I live an hour away and came here to eat with some family. I left a sentimental bag here that belonged to my grandmother. please, don’t leave anything here cause it will be donated to Salvation Army. I even called them to let them know I knew my bag was left there and I will be making my way to pick it up. She told me ok and that it would be there , did not say anything about a time frame to be donated . unfortunately I couldn’t Make it for 3 weeks due to my work schedule. When I had a family member go and pick up they told me it was put in the Salvation Army bin on ulster Ave. my license was in this bag with my full address, picture and all my info. Very disappointed in Kvd as they treated me like family. Management please take note of what gets left behind at your diner, to you it may just be an “item “ but can be so much more to the person who owns it. Never coming here again.

Still upset about being asked to vacate our table. We were there for less than an hour from the time we walked in the door and were finishing up our drinks when one of the employees came over and said “not to kick you out, but we need this table”. If they had waited 3 more minutes for us to finish our coffees this would have been a much different review. It was just incredibly rude to act like we were wasting the restaurant’s time. That said, the food was pretty good. Wish I could have left a review based solely on that but rudeness really overshadowed the whole experience.

We picked up a few bagels passing through, as well as a piece of crumb cake. The staff was pleasant enough. At home, the crumb cake had some seriously off flavors, like old freezer/cooler. My wife didn't want to finish it, and I was still tasting it an hour later. The bagels had the same off flavors, but to a lesser extent (less fats in the food to absorb the flavors, plus masked a bit by making it a sandwich). They would have been decent otherwise, but I probably wouldn't risk it again.
Ryan K — Google review
As a local I love lox. The food is great and the atmosphere in the building is always relaxing. My only problem arises with the fact that my order is wrong every few times I go and it sucks when you're running around in the morning and finally go to eat your sandwich and its not what you ordered.
Armani C — Google review
Would be a higher rating because the food is good, but the last two times I have ordered, they have made the sandwiches wrong. Asked for no cheese and cheese was on the sandwich. Asked for double sausage and only one sausage. Until they can get their orders correct without me having to double check the food. I will be going somewhere else.

Honestly, I’m really disappointed with how this place is run. From the moment we walked in, the energy was off. My group and I came in friendly and polite — “Hi! Good morning! How are you?” — and got nothing back. No smile, no welcome, just a flat “How many people?” We said “eight,” and the host looked instantly tired and unenthusiastic. It was still morning! Was it really that bad for a group of people to come in after church to enjoy breakfast together? The diner looks nice in the front, but they seated us all the way in the back, where it felt like a plain storage room — four walls, a ceiling, lots of tables and chairs, and zero charm. The front had open space, but for some reason, we were placed in the back. At first, we brushed it off. But then we noticed something that didn’t sit right — the only other groups seated in the back were non-white, like us. That made the whole situation feel even worse. The service didn’t improve. We waited around 45 minutes just to place our order. When the server came by, we said clearly, “Just water for now, we’re ready to order our food.” They didn’t even acknowledge us — just dropped off the waters and walked away. When the food finally came, it was terrible. I ordered steak and eggs (medium) and got an overcooked steak and one scrambled egg. That was it. Overall, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere might be nice if you’re sitting up front — but if you’re not white, don’t expect the same treatment. Save yourself the frustration and order somewhere else.

I came here with friends and my partner last Saturday around 7 pm. The service was good as it was almost empty, but they took a few mins to take our order. The diner looked that someone of us was gonna get a stomachache. I got the Californian burger, apparently, the last one. It looked good and the fries too. Overall it was okay. However, that burger gave me the worst food poisoning. At 3 am I was in the bathroom non stop. The worst part is that I was at a campground. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

We visited Kaaterskill Falls and stopped at a diner on our way back, hoping for a cozy experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a poor choice. The food was undercooked or overcooked and below par, and waiting 40 minutes for soup, salad, a sandwich, and appetisers felt excessive. We didn't want to complain since they were about to close, but we felt it was important to warn others: avoid this place during your visit. It’s a waste of money, and you won’t find the warm atmosphere or food you need after a hike.

They also have a back room if you need to host a party. I personally want to give the atmosphere a 3, for me an atmosphere is candle light and jazz music. This is a diner with booths. It is a classic retro diner. Small critique, I find their tabletops a bit too high in the booths.

The lady there was generous and had a positive attitude. She talked to us about this lovely town and told us a few things about it. We also loved the lemon poppy muffins, especially me—I’m in love with that muffin. We even came back again to grab more coffee! I stopped at the Port Ewen Diner during a weekday in July, 2023. I drove in the wrong way according to the signs. It seems like they have a one way in and one way out system. Well, I failed that when turning in quick coming from the north. Between the quick approach to an unfamiliar customer, crossing the lanes and on coming traffic, I failed. I had been to this diner many years ago, but this was like a new experience years later. The diner isn't very large. But it seems to have more tables than you might think from looking at the building. The building seems just right. It is laid out well. It did take quite a while to get service. But they were somewhat busy at the time. But when we ordered, the food came out fairly quickly. The food was decent and we enjoyed it. It was basically breakfast and it's hard to screw up breakfast. Yet you would be surprised how many places that I've been has done just that. This diner made me a decent breakfast. And the price was overly expensive. So I wouldn't say this wasn't the fastest meal ever. But everything was adequate and very acceptable. When I add up the positives, they far outweigh any minor flaws I might have seen. So I do recommend the Port Ewen diner. Besides, there are not a lot of good options close by. That makes them more enticing.

I was traveling from out of town and needed a place to fill my belly. LOVED this place! I had a veggie panini, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection! The food was satisfying and the atmosphere was chill. Our server was friendly and it was really an overall great experience!

It's a really nice diner. Low key, all the usual favorites with some twists. My spinach and feta omelet was a perfect diner example of this omelet. Good english muffin, good coleslaw. My husband's greek chicken wrap was also good. The fries were crispy and fresh tasting. We'll be back!

The Historic Village Diner is a classic American dining spot located in an early-20th century railroad dining car. Visitors can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a cozy atmosphere with retro decorations. The menu offers a variety of dishes made with attention to detail, and the friendly wait staff ensures prompt service. Guests can savor American-style omelets and delicious options like corned beef hash and home fries for breakfast or indulge in burgers and specials like pork tenderloin for dinner.
Having recently moved to Red Hook, I go time to time to the diner. Natalie has been great from day one. Oh, I'm the guy who takes pictures of ships on the river

I hadn't been here in years. The food was fine, not great then, so I thought ordering some diner staples might be ok. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We ordered biscuits and gravy. Rather than a creamy and rich sausage flavor, the gravy was sour and left a tart aftertaste that lingered a long time. The shredded hash browns—a true diner staple—were bland, soggy, and undercooked. Ar's house hash was also disappointing. It tasted of ketchup yet was weirdly sour and bland. The diner is so cute and the staff was friendly and nice, but I really wish the food was better. I can't currently recommend it.

First, just let me say that this diner has just about the best cherry pie I've ever had!! We pick up a whole pie every time we pass through town going between Maine and Florida. This time we stopped in for breakfast and I ordered the mini waffles, eggs, and bacon. The eggs and bacon were great but the waffles were doughy inside. They brought me a second order, which were crispy on the outside but still doughy inside. Moral to story: 1. avoid the mini waffles if you want crispy throughout and 2. definitely try the cherry pie.

Eating at diners is a cultural experience and nothing beats doing so at a Registry-recognized diner! Love the cozy atmosphere and retro decorations. Menu was visibly made with love and attention to detail. Wait staff was friendly and food was served promptly. Salmon tasted fresh, pumpkin pie was on point, and mulled cider was super yummy! A great experience overall. 😄

Bethel Market Cafe is a cozy spot in Bethel known for its classic breakfast and lunch options, as well as a variety of baked goods like cakes, muffins, scones, and pies. The cafe's homemade recipes and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors. It's a local favorite with a peaceful setting and cool vibe. The family-owned cafe offers delicious food at affordable prices and features unique handmade decor.
Bethel Market Cafe is a gem! The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to start the day. Great value for the price. The quaint farmhouse atmosphere adds so much charm to the experience. The cafe is also handicap accessible, and our server was incredibly knowledgeable about gluten-free options, which was a huge plus for me. There’s a great selection of gluten-free and regular treats, along with items for sale from local companies. Everyone can find something they’ll love. Highly recommend!

Great staff running things there. Our waitress with curly hair and glasses, so sweet. Sorry for not noting her name. The other ladies were kind as well. The tuna salad with cranberries is my favorite. PS: thanks for ensuring my phone got back to me. I would be afraid to know what that woman would have done if you hadn’t hahaha. 😉

Decent coffee. They are not bad, sometimes nice sometimes kinda mid. My friend & their family wont go back because of their prices / portions, but I do - just much more rarely than I would if it was a bit more thoughtful on the balance. They were extremely nice the first time I went in happy to explain **all the baked goods though there was no expression of interest.. but fair enough! On subsequent visits, it was more of an indifferent demeanor by the same matron. They are a little weird with some pricing, they weigh some of their ingredients non generously… (be prepared for 3oz or 3.5oz portions of chicken in your sandwiches etc.) - not everything has to be huge but there is a hollowness to many of their offerings that fall underneath a normal smaller portion like you would make at home for example. Just good to know.

So I just left this restaurant, and if I could give them zero stars I truly would ! ! The way I was just treated via the owner was atrocious ! I had waited 40 minutes for two orders of French toast & when it came , it was incorrect as far as the quantity . & so I was concerned if it would be resolved in a timely manner so I can eat with my child & family . So I expressed that & instead of being understanding & accommodating . I was given a disgusting attitude via the owner . I decided to take the one order and leave anything else ; far as drinks & pastries I also ordered . This interaction was not only insulting , but as a first time customer I will never return . Oh and to make matters worst I am pregnant . Thank you to Kev , whom is her son ; who came to apologize on his mothers behalf . If you cannot work under pressure and treat all demographics with the same respect & customer service skills as paying patrons . I would highly suggest you don’t own a business . Please do better , as I’m hearing this is a regular occurring thing .

We are visiting from another state and we were ready for some great food, ready the menu and I noticed you make pancakes from scratch..... Awesome waited as it was busy.... Coffee and tea to start....no issue with the wait for the food..... But you are busy and my food is barely warm when I get it.....Noel is the name on the receipt she never said her name when she came to the table..... I don't even mind that..... She was able to walk past our table 4 times never checking to see if everything was ok. So after sometime I asked for a Manager..... She said that there is not one here, so I expressed my issues to her...... Then I get nothing but excuses.... after she tried to justify the behavior.... We are so busy..,.( She was not so busy to check back in with the other tables she had we watched her) ..... She did eventually get a weak apology..... We get the check and go to the register...... only to find the bills don't match.....my receipt vs what the cashier is saying.....then I ask is there another tax..... Then she goes back to get the waitress..... Only for her to come and take a look she grabs the receipt and throws it in the trash prints another one and says I forgot to charge you for an extra tea ...... Now I don't know about how you think that is okay...... The food was amazing the service was not.... I have attached the picture of receipt....

They Fall Short as A "Diner"! Very small Menu. I had Breakfast and my wife had a Lunch Special. Was not impressed with Gravy. Very tight and they used Italian sausage in the Gravy. Specifically ask about wheat or gluten and mentioned i can’t have either. Ordered a roast beef melt “wrap” on gluten free wrap later to find onion rings on the wrap after halfway eaten. Menu online didn’t break down what the wrap consisted of nor did the hostess know what it consisted of. Probably my fault for trusting someone else’s lack of knowledge. Food looked great other than that

As a diner, the experience fell short of expectations. Was charged an extra order of coffee for the second and third refill. Nowhere on the menu nor mentioned by the staff that refills were limited (especially for something as common as a black coffee). The pancake were undercooked. Sadly could not recommend this for future diners. Would recommend other options nearby.

My dad used to go to this place all the time when it was in NYC and brought me when I'd go to work with him. They changed the inside a lot, but I could still picture it in my mind. Great food, great staff, great experience. The menu has a vast selection and provides surplus servings; difficult to finish but wonderful flavors (verified by four lovely dishes). One hiccup with the soup we ordered, but it wasn't an issue. Fairly short-staffed, one table busser who also provides water, a waitress, and somebody working behind the counter/bar stools. We went twice. Once for lunch and we came back for a breakfast. Both times the food was hand made. Only downside is they are cash only. But the prices were fantastic for the quality of food. The lunch we just ordered some sandwiches. The bread looked made in house, the meat was tender and delicious. Our breakfast was infinity better. We ordered a special they had “Delish Knish” with ham and cheddar and it was possibly the best savory breakfast I’v ever had. The waffle was good and the fruit was fresh, when we asked for syrup it tasted like real maple not the corn syrup crap. Servers were good. We spent 40$ both times and that included a generous tip.

A great find off the beaten track. We arrived just before closing (2:30) and they could only give us takeout but the woman owner could not have been nicer and pulled together local info for us while we waited for our delicious sandwiches with homemade cole slaw. Also loved the old fashioned pine paneling!

Staff were not friendly at all and at one point were just flat out rude. We waited over an hr for a simple breakfast and the staff didn't come by once for coffee/drink refills. If you have a large party and everyone isn't there, don't bother going in until everyone is there or they won't seat you. They seem to be not biker people friendly as well. At least that's the vibe we got. VERY awkward and uncomfortable. It's either that or they are just unhappy people all around. The food was very good and looked nice, but a few people got sick afterwards. Overall this was our 1st and will be our last as well as our friend's. The rude people and sub par service isn't worth it at all in my opinion.

Have gone there for many years and it changed hands. The owner now October 15, 2020 has created an amazing place to eat. First the place is very clean and well kept. Bathroom was really clean (not that I would eat off the floor because they have tables). The food was exceptional. I had an open turkey sandwich. It was real turkey from a turkey breast and the gravy was really good. French Fries were really crisp and delicious. The onion rings were so cripsy and delicious. The Ice Tea unsweetened, was really fresh and tasty. Waitress was so helpful as we came with toddlers and a party of 7. All the other dishes were of equal quality. We had a really good time and I highly recommend this to everyone. Kerhonkson is a very small village in upstate so you don't expect to find such a place with such good food. Thank you so much for making us so happy. It has been a long journey during this time of national epidemic. It was a very special moment being there. (prices were very point on)

Sunrise Bagel & Deli is a cash-only establishment that has garnered a loyal following, with some customers traveling long distances to get their hands on their bagels. The pumpernickel raisin bagels are a unique offering that has attracted attention. Visitors have praised the freshness of the bagels and roast beef, recommending the roast beef and Swiss on a bagel sandwich.
Stopped for lunch was happy to see Boars Head cold cuts. I then decided to get the chicken cordon blue. It is grilled. My sandwich was good and filling. The others both ordered the BEC. They reported that they like it. Service was fast and food was good.
Michael B — Google review
I stopped into Sunrise Bagel while in town visiting. They were busy, which is usually a good sign. I ordered three bagels and waited as they were prepared. The sign says something like $1.20 per bagel. (you can read it on the board in one of my pictures) Obviously that meant without butter or cream cheese and such. As I waited I looked around. There is a nice area with tables for folks to sit and eat. I find that a nice option for folks. After a fairly long wait because of the large volume of customers, I received my three bagels. I also picked up the local paper, which I think was $1. I can't find the receipt, but If I recall correctly, it was close to $15. Probably a little less, but close. But I was definitely closer to $15 than $10. So I felt that the price was a little on the high side. Now to be fair, two bagels had cream cheese, and one had butter. But that's still probably $12 or more for three bagels. Or over $8 for butter and cream cheese. Maybe I am wrong and just picky, but it just seemed to be too much. Now price aside, the bagels were not bad. I would even say they were good. No they were not the best bagels that I personally have ever had. But it was good. So I would probably stop in again if in town. What I found expensive might just be the normal in New York. And I figure the other customers can't all be wrong.

Stopped in at Sunrise Bagel & Deli on a whim on the way up to Montreal. All I can say is wow, and that this may be the best bagel I’ve ever eaten. The exterior of the bagel was so crisp and beautiful color. Even with the outside being so crispy, the tenderness of the bagel melts in your mouth. We only tried their plain bagels but they were sooo good, and can’t wait to stop again for other varieties. We got two egg sandwiches to share, one with pastrami and the other with sausage and hash browns. Both were exceptional, and held us over until we got all the way to Canada. This business is cash only, but their prices are so reasonable! Both sandwiches together were just $12. Highly recommend this place, even if you have to go a little out of the way for it. If you’re in the area already and love bagels, it’s a must-try.

One of the best bacon-egg-and-cheese sandwiches I’ve ever had. Crisp bacon, toasty bagel, everything very fresh. I’m glad I dropped in without reading some of the low reviews, because they may have deterred me. Next time, I’ll be ready with cash to avoid the ATM charge. I will definitely be back!

Had a friend tell me these were the best bagels in Kingston. He did not lie. They are large and fluffy. They spring back when you squeeze them like a freshly baked bagel should, with a crunchier exterior. Very delicious. Will definitely stop here every time I pass by Kingston. Best bagels I’ve had so far in NY and NJ.

Sunrise Bagel and Deli in Kingston is a bagel lover's paradise! Their bagels are a true masterpiece - crispy on the outside, yet irresistibly moist on the inside. As Manhattan dwellers accustomed to top-notch bagels, we can confidently say that Sunrise Bagel ranks among the best. Their selection of cream cheeses is a dream, and the lox! Absolutely divine. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this spot is a must-visit for bagel aficionados. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Biggest bagels on earth. Very tasty. Cut in half. Butter and pan fry with a weight on top. Crisp / toast. Then cover with cream cheese. Or crack a fried egg on top. Definitely delicious. Between sunrise bagels and bnb we are lucky to have these businesses. They freeze very well. 1hr to thaw or 20 second in microwave. Great road snack. So delicious and travels well. If you want a fresh bagel this is your place!!! Great selection and loaded our bagels up with eggs, cheese and ham. We went back and picked up some bagels and cream cheese for the road! Yummy 😋!! No public bathroom and there were people out in front of the store sitting on the benches of which one actually said he didn’t want us there. They were not buying anything. I personally think it is a city issue that needs correcting. The employees, food and inside the store atmosphere were definitely worth another visit.

I love bagel places, but there aren’t a lot of good ones in this area. Monticello Bagel Bakery is the exception. First, there is a drive up window, so you don’t even have to leave your car. But, most importantly, the bagels are delicious. There is a nice variety of flavors. I like to mix it up in terms of flavors. I also love the muffins, a nice size and very good. Convenient and tasty.

This spot is known as the most popular breakfast joint in the neighborhood, and since we were just visiting, we came in with a bit of healthy skepticism. Well, we were completely blown away. Their bagels are genuinely phenomenal! (I personally think they're better than any I've had in NYC proper.) The texture of their bagels is distinctively moist and delightfully chewy, making them great to eat even on their own without feeling dry. All four of us ordered different bagel sandwiches and every single one was excellent. We immediately went back to buy some extra bagels to take home! We particularly loved the Egg Bagel, Blueberry Bagel, and Chocolate Chip Bagel. They have a drive-thru and you can also go inside to order (though the line is always long!). The only minor downside is the coffee, which is just average. But I would come back solely for these incredible bagels without hesitation! (sorry no pictures as we ate them all before we realized)

When they start Sunday morning, bagels were made fresh the only issue they're not cooked long enough. I highly recommend you toast The Bagles, too soft need to be baked a little longer To make more crispy I ordered two whip cream cheese. They were excellent. First one I had right out of the oven, but it was too soft. The second one I had toasted and it was great. Highly recommend the place. Staff was pleasant very accommodating a big plus for Monticello.

Favorite place to go to for my lunch break. Fast service, awesome employees, great food, can't beat the prices. And the st patties day bagels were great. Best NYC breakfast sandwiches in the Sullivan county area. The owner really takes pride in his craft.

The man at the drive up window today made my day! He was so sweet. He said in all seriousness “one more important thing” and then smiled and said “have an amazing day” and it just made me so excited about my day. You guys are great!

It's hilarious! I've lived here in Monticello for 3 years now and never tried this place until now! The lines were always so long and so I always pushed it off. I regret not trying it sooner! I see now why they have so much business! I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel. So delicious! Very tasty! The service is also top notch! The staff are friendly, efficient, and fast! The way they run things is very organized and orderly. I only deducted a point for not being able to order hot food at the drive thru. I guess I understand it, it definitely helps the line to move quicker but it would be nice! I will definitely be coming back!

When you find yourself in Leeds, NY, make sure to swing by Lindsay's for a delightful breakfast experience that lasts all day long! This charming eatery is known for its mouthwatering dishes, like the crispy fried steak smothered in rich gravy and served with fluffy biscuits—truly a culinary delight. The "Hungry Man" plate is perfect for those with big appetites, featuring generous portions of delicious food that will leave you satisfied.
If you're ever in Leeds, NY, you absolutely need to stop by Lindsay’s. They serve breakfast all day! I had the most amazing fried steak with gravy and biscuits—let me tell you, it was *bomb*. The steak was crispy and perfectly seasoned, and the gravy? Just the right balance of rich and flavorful. My husband ordered the "Hungry Man" dish, and it was huge! The portions were so generous, and the pancakes on the side were fluffy and light, just like they should be. Our waitress, Jonna, was fantastic! She was super attentive, made us feel right at home, and had such a warm, lively personality. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and it made our experience even better. Hidden gem—great food and even better service. We’ll definitely be back! Five stars all the way!

My Aunt and Uncle owned and operated this restaurant 65 years ago, I'm certain that they would be extremely happy and proud to see the way it's being run today. If you're within 50 miles and feeling hungry I recommend you make a detour to Lindsay's. The best breakfast I've had in a long time. Large portions of excellent food served with fast, friendly service at a great price.

The food is very good here, everything is priced extremely well for today's times. Everything I've had from here has always been good, never fails. My only complaint would be their ability to answer the phone. This is a tight place and my family and I would have to wait awhile to be seated. So naturally I would rather call in an order on the weekends. Most of the time, they don't answer the phone - but if they do, they'll put you in hold just to not answer again. Primarily it seems to be the older woman, whe I informed her of this she gave me an attitude. I know its busy and they have alot on their plates, but this happens every single time myself or one of my family members call. I'm sorry, but this is unacceptable and you probably lose a ton of business because of this.

For two decades I'd have labeled this place the best casual breakfast in town. However bringing my partner here for the first time after me having not been there in almost 2 years may have been my last. The food was great, as it always is. But it seems like maybe some of the people there have been there for two long. The service we received was awful and condescending. Never in my literal hundreds upon hundreds of visits have I felt so put off. It was unfortunate to have had this experience and I'm positive my partner and I won't be in a rush to return. Maybe I'll try again next year.

Nestled in New Paltz's Water Street Market, Mudd Puddle Coffee Roasters and Cafe offers a perfect setting to unwind with excellent coffee and a variety of savory and sweet snacks. The outdoor seating provides a great spot to relax after a day out, while the option to grab cans of beer from Yard Owl Craft Brewery is an added bonus. Situated across from an antique barn, the cafe also offers ample indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views of the ridge.
Delicious drinks. Happy service. It's right across from the antique shop. It's a great spot to grab a tea or latte and walk around the shops nearby. It's the coziest corner of New Paltz.

Popped in after hiking for a quick breakfast. Literally the BEST breakfast sandwich I have ever had! Had the B.E.L.T. sandwich. My husband took a bite & kept staring at my sandwich like a puppy dog wanting more! The place was very busy but the service was very good.

Dog in bar. Never got my drink. Given nuts in granola after asking and being told that it did not have nuts. Not really clean. There is short class that that food handlers can take. I believe it is $10. You can get a food service card . It teaches about safe food handling. When I got the check in that sticky black folding thing it had milk on the back of it and almost stuck to the table.

Our favorite coffee shop for more than a decade! We have been enjoying breakfast or coffee here for years and it would always be our first stop when driving up from NYC. As New Paltz residents, we love coming back here and starting our weekends right. Great coffee, matcha drinks and sandwiches. Amazing service! Could say a lot about their many hot sauces which are also available to be purchased to-go. We highly recommend this small, family owned place. ❤️

I mean, this is the PUDDLE!! The most iconic coffee shop in New Paltz for over 20 years! Completely family owned and operated for the entire time. All beans are roasted fresh in house multiple times a week. Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, and owners! Drinks (especially the cappuccino) are incredible and have that signature "Puddle" aftertaste. It also gets you REALLY energized!! Thursday to Monday, you're able to get breakfast there until 1 p.m., the food is REALLY good, especially with a cappuccino. I would HIGHLY recommend the "James Sandwich"! Atmosphere is chill, with great music always playing. There's a huge outdoor area, as well as indoor bench seating overlooking the Walkill river and mt. Mohawk. Totally worth the trip!!

Mudd Puddle is a cute little cafe to go to if you need a get away with someone to have a good convo. They have seating inside, but have a bunch of chairs outside too for comfy spaces out seating. The pricing isn’t too bad, a chai latte is about $4, and the pastries are around the same price. The customer service wasn’t great, we didn’t get welcomed in (and there were no other guests), but that’s the only reason it’s not 5-star. Worth a visit :)

I guess this is the only cafe in the town. This is actually a cafe cum market and they sell a lot of nice organic produce and other groceries at the store as well. There is a nice seat area at the back facing the river, but it was pretty cold when he visited, so he chose to sit inside. I got the iced vanilla latte, which was pretty good, but nothing out the world and the cider doughnut which was very light and phenomenal. My friends liked their drinks as well. we also got a trout sandwich, which was pretty good. The groceries here are obviously a little bit more expensive given that it’s organic. I would rather buy stuff from the nearby supermarket. But definitely recommend coming for your caffeine hit.

Obsessed with this place! I can’t believe we found a store that has everything we want and need in the Catskills. Cafe is great- really good coffee and drinks and delicious sandwiches. I recommend the Farmstead. Staff are nice and super helpful. And then the market- excellent selection of local produce, cheeses, eggs and beer and cider. And then lots of other great grocery items that makes it one stop shopping! Definitely visit when you are in the Catskills.

Great little spot that offers a nice variety of freshly prepared food and drinks. I got the vegan Reuben, kale white bean soup and the oatmeal raisin cookie. All three were delicious, the sandwich seemed a little pricey but it was a good size portion. It was very charming inside and very cozy. A lot of people sipping coffee and doing work on their laptops while we were there. They also had a large variety of groceries to choose from and seem to cater to a wide variety of dietary preferences/needs.

The Bakery is a charming old-school bakery and cafe that has been a staple of the New Paltz community since 1981. It offers a variety of freshly baked desserts, including pastries, cookies, tarts, tiramisu, cannoli, and apple cake. In addition to its sweet treats, the bakery also serves lunch and has outdoor seating for guests to enjoy. The establishment has recently undergone new ownership which has brought about noticeable improvements in cleanliness and menu offerings.
Very cute bakery in New Paltz. Line was a bit long and we waited 30 mins but it was a Sunday morning & fresh food isn’t quick. My sandwich was a bit cold but after letting them a new fresh extra toasty sandwich was brought to me quickly a long with some complimentary cookies. Food was so yummy, coffee was delicious… lemonade was perfect. Definitely try the peanut butter cookie with chocolate on top.
Christina C — Google review
The food is good, but the staff makes it so unwelcoming to enter and order. They’re extremely slow always making me late to wherever I need to go. The point of a take out bakery is the quick and effective process of getting food, not standing there for 15 minutes before someone even notices you. The workers lack the ability to multi task or greet customers. Horrible the way I was treated and disregarded, this place needs to focus more on kindness and an appropriate work ethic NOT decorating, walking around ignoring customers and talking with their coworkers/friends.
Angela P — Google review
The food at this bakery might be good, but the customer experience left a lot to be desired. I waited over 40 minutes just to buy a pie that was already sitting in the refrigerator, ready to go. When I asked if I could simply pay for it, I was told I had to wait in line behind over 12 people ordering breakfast and coffee, which needed to be prepared first. While the staff seemed overwhelmed and could have used more help, the lack of a system to handle quick purchases was frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend this bakery, as the negative overall experience far overshadowed any potential enjoyment of the food.
E V — Google review
A little disappointed that we ordered hot coffee and were given iced. Got sandwiches on bagels and both came out on regular rolls. We decided not to say anything because the girls working were working super hard and were busy. All the food was still good so we were happy about that, but would have liked to try what we actually ordered.

EDIT: from 4 to 2 stars- Unfortunately, this place has really gone down hill. The bagels are always dry, and the challah has consistently been burnt every time. I tried door dashing from them for the first time and it came in a small brown bag with the baked goods sticking out of it- not stapled shut or anything. It didn’t even surprise me because there has been a lack of attention at The Bakery over the past few months, and it’s only gotten worse. The atmosphere is nice, but it doesn’t really outweigh the bad parts- I won’t be as frequent unfortunately, but I will definitely continue to give it a shot and support and update the review if it gets better. OLD REVIEW: A really great place to come in the morning before work. I’ve only had the baked goods, but they’re all great. The bagels, for me, are the perfect size and they taste really good! The only reason it’s lost one star is because it’s just a little expensive. $8 for a bagel with cream cheese and a latte (both delicious), and the croissants are like $3.50 each. *however* all the other cafes in NP are the same, so maybe there’s an external factor I’m just unaware of that makes it pricey. My main issue is that there is never any challah anymore… I would come every weekend to a boat load of loaves and pick the best and buy it and share with friends- now even in the mornings, there is MAYBE one loaf. I believe they make it on Fridays, but they used to on Saturday too if I’m not mistaken- regardless, I hardly see it anymore. As a Jewish man, I’m really hoping the new ownership cares for the Jewish community in the way the last owners did. Maybe I just happen to always come right before they put new loaves out, but just figured I’d note this. Final note- it’s not wheelchair accessible. Yes, you can get in the building on a wheelchair, but during cold months there is no where to sit downstairs- and no elevator. Similar with some other reviews I’ve seen, the bakery is amazing and has potential to be perfect, just with a few minor improvements :)

This is one of my favorite places, ever. It's tucked away like a hidden gem for locals with outdoor seating and a loft over the bakery area with indoor seating and a play area for kids. It's one of the only places I can go to eat out with my child and actually relax!!!!! There's a wide variety of foods, not just baked goods but breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well as hot and cold coffees, teas, espresso drinks, and brand drinks for the picky ones (like bottled juice, seltzer, etc.) I appreciate they celebrate and bake for all different holidays. When I've ordered cakes the bakers have done amazing work. I FREAKING LOVE THIS PLACE

Bodacious Bagels is a beloved gem in Stone Ridge, known for its delightful bagels and coffee that keep locals coming back for more. This is my first time writing a review for any establishment because I was disgusted. I stopped by here with my girlfriend because I’ve had good bagels here in the past, but not in a long time (about two years since my last visit). I understand that arriving close to closing time can be an inconvenience. However, all I wanted to do was grab some bagels to go and they still had a half hour till closing time and we were the only ones in there. So as we were selecting our half dozen assortment to go, it was apparent that the lady behind the counter was becoming impatient as she kept shaking her head and rolling her eyes impatiently. I noticed a distinct smell of cigar/tobacco when we first walked in and didn’t think too much of it at first. We then asked for a cupcake that my girlfriend was excited to try (lemon lavender) as we completed our order and left. After getting down the road and ready to try our cupcake, my girlfriend licked the frosting upon which she immediately gagged. I took the cupcake and noticed that it REEKED of cigar/tobacco! I immediately wanted to gag! Upon further inspection we noticed little black specks all in the frosting (attached picture) For the record I am no stranger to this kind of aroma, in fact I don’t mind it; as long as it’s not in our freaking food! I will never come back here again. And as I sit here writing this review I find myself getting further irritated at the impatience that I received. I get that you want to pack up and leave, but you still got a half hour till your posted closing time and it’s not like we asked for a sandwich or for anything cooked. When I order food I’m always polite no matter how bad of a day the staff seem to have because I’ve been there before. I even left a tip which I regret.

A Stone Ridge classic. Most people stop for bagels and coffee, which are delicious. However, I often find myself often stopping in to get the falafel sandwich for lunch. Always perks me up and I feel so good after eating it. Great service, just take a couple minutes to prepare. It has a small seating area inside and a small round table outside. Great vibes here.

Went in to get some bagels for home, and decided to get a Bacon Egg and Cheese on everything bagel. They microwave the eggs... the bagels resemble pretzels. I couldn't finish it because the microwaved eggs. Staff seemed fine and nice, but they have to at least get a electric skillet for the eggs, air fryer for the bacon, and toaster oven for the sandwich to melt the cheese. Maybe get chafing dishes to hold cooked food to keep up with any rush they may have so they can quickly assemble sandwiches.

Bread Alone – Boiceville We stopped here after our go-to diner had too long a wait, and it ended up being a great choice. I got the spicy green egg sandwich with chorizo, and it was fantastic—flavorful, well-balanced, and just the right amount of heat. Even though the place was busy, it was well-organized, very clean, and the staff kept things running smoothly. Everyone was friendly, and the whole vibe was welcoming. Definitely a solid spot whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or hanging out a bit before getting back on the road. Highly recommended!

Great place with high-quality ingredients, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere — plus it’s pet-friendly on the lovely outside terrace! We stopped by on our way to the Catskills and enjoyed the avocado toast with an egg and their Healthy wholegrains bread — both were delicious, especially the bread. We also ordered a slice of chocolate pound cake, but unfortunately, it was missing from our shopping bag when we got home. Not sure what happened, but everyone was very kind, especially the tall lady tending to the flowers outside. The whole place feels clean, fresh, and brand new. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re passing through!

Loved the ambience and will definitely be back. Went here after camping in the area. Delightful service. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood there. Two things though…. We got a breakfast burrito and a lemon poppy seed pound cake. The pound cake was dry and our lunch order was wrong (burrito, was good though). They did give us two slices of pound cake because the worker thought they were cut too slim. And the burrito was good. It took a bit long for our burrito though…It was also packed up but we said it was for dining in. Coffee was good. We sat outside and really enjoyed the outdoor seating. I’ll be back from the pleasant workers and ambience though.

We stopped by for breakfast Sunday morning. They were busy but we got a seat and the waitress was quick to set us up and get drinks. Wish I could give the service below 1 star I gave this place 3 tries First time with my wife and child. Older service woman was short with us, my wife caught licking her fingers to pick up napkins/plates. Second time I went in with just my daughter and I wasn’t even greeted, but the people that walked in right behind us were( my daughter and I are both brown people). So we ended up just leaving, after the amount of stares we were getting from patrons and server Third time, I called in my order. The server was actually really nice over the phone.. it was someone much younger and looked either new or I’ve just never seen her there.. I went in to pick up order, and sure enough older server looked passed me and ignored me. Younger server was very friendly You can put your own conclusions together but I’m done giving it a try and I will not recommend to anyone. Food is mediocre at its finest

The best kale salad around! Especially good if you top it with a House made chicken cutlet.

Friendly service and excellent espresso drinks. Centrally located, so it’s a perfect place to stop when shopping and strolling in Kingston.

Have visited there three separate occasions in three years, and have received the same poor, borderline terrible service every time. The wait to be served our menus has been too long every time ranging from 15-20 minutes all three times. after ordering always takes even longer to receive the food, even for something as small as eggs. the food is good, don't get me wrong. but i shouldn't have to wait an hour for lunch. the look of the place is gorgeous and cozy, which is why i wanted to give this place a second try after horrible service. disappointed.

Great retro vibe and one of my favorite spots to get a breakfast sandwich and coffee. I don’t know his name but the gentleman I think is the owner is always very gracious and has a great sense of humor. I’ve been here at least 10 times and it’s always great!

We stopped by in the early afternoon and ordered a turkey sandwich and an egg sandwich. Pretty random order but both sandwiches were great. The server helped us choose our sandwiches and was very pleasant. The restaurant atmosphere is very laid back and comfortable.

Look in the refrigerator case to see which fresh salads and other home made foods they have. Good strong coffee, nice selection of cookies and pastries, friendly service, casual. I love the turkey chili. Eggs etc for breakfast. Enjoy!

I ordered a veggie omelet with feta and a hard roll with butter- everything was terrific. They cleared a table by the window so we could watch the world go by in North Front. A relaxing experience. My husband had the French toast and I would ask for less cinnamon if I were ordering it.

Not very good service, food came out cold even though it came fast, so maybe didnt microwave it long enough...? And I thought I was getting a fresh garden salad. It was from an Iceberg salad mix bag, which i saw behind the counter, oh and a drizzle of some watered down dressing.

They were a little busy, but had 3 servers on. Who seemed extremely flustered, and a little waspish, as if the customers were somehow an inconvenience. I'm chalking it up to just a bad day, as normally it's not like that.

Ordered from Angel’s tonight as I normally do, a burrito with extra cheese, Guac, and sour cream. When it was delivered, the burrito had no cheese, guac, or sour cream which was disappointing but not a big deal. I also ordered penne Alfredo, which I found a short dark hair in and many of the noodles had sketchy looking dark spots on them. Absolutely ruined my appetite, I liked ordering from Angel’s as they conveniently deliver to my house but it was such a waste of money I would rather just drive out of my way elsewhere for food. This hasn’t been the first time something has been messed up while ordering from them, and it’s just a huge disappointment. If I could give zero stars I would.

I encountered a woman named Paula at Trackside Dining who left a positive impression on me. She was exceptionally pleasant, friendly, and provided great conversation during my visit to the town for an unexpected pet-related emergency. Her warm hospitality made me feel instantly welcome. I highly rate this establishment with five stars because of Paula's exceptional service. Trackside Dining is a delightful place to grab a quick meal that is both delicious and reasonably priced. The staff members are affable, and the overall ambiance is inviting.
I stopped here for lunch, I had a breakfast sandwich and some hashbrowns. The food tasted great. My waitress was very happy and provided exceptional service. I wasn’t sure what to expect because this is only one of two options that I found for food in this town and the other option had no cars out in front and this place was full of cars, glad I stopped here. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but everything was great The service was quick, friendly, and professional. We had the fish fry, and it was really good. House battered fish had a great flavor. Their house made tarter sauce was really good. Definitely recommend.

Always a great time! My husband and I visit frequently for “dates”, be it breakfast lunch or dinner. We brought the girls this last time. They had loads of fun, even socializing with the table nearby us. Waitress was a bit overworked as the other servers had called out, but it was fine for us (5 guests in total at our table) and it was pretty busy. Even when “packed”, everyone is comfortably spaced apart, with diff dining areas to choose from. They’ve got diner tables, booths, another room with a mix of booths and tables (our fave is the corner booth with a table), and a room for parties of 6+. Bathrooms are fine, everything is wheelchair accessible. 5/5 stars! ⭐️
Mo D — Google review
Great food, great service. The five star is for atmosphere, because this is a diner, a quintessential American experience. And the atmosphere of a diner is part and parcel of the experience. Thus the atmosphere matches with what I consider a typical American diner. I get breakfasts here from time to time. The trackside breakfast is the best deal for me, it's big, affordable and fuels the tank. The waitresses are perfect in what they do. It's def hard work, waiting tables. And they handle their responsibility in a kind professional and motherly way. I've never been disappointed with the breakfasts, their egg sandwiches and their hamburgers. As a rule of thumb once I find something great in the menu I don't try anything else. But I'm sure whatever it is you order it will be another great American experience. PS to the management, the bathroom might want to be on your radar for a remodel. It's def a weak link in your operation. . You can look me up finish line contractors of NY on Google maps.

The Mud Club in Woodstock is a tiny but impressive spot known for making some of the best wood-fired bagels. The bagels are smaller than New York ones, with a superb texture and taste. However, they tend to run out quickly, so be prepared to wait in line. The cafe offers strong coffee and delicious, fresh bagels with various toppings. With limited seating, it's more of a bakery than a restaurant.
This was a super cute pizza spot! Didn't get their bagels. There's no indoor seating so beware of the weather. I didn't check out the bar area but the vibes during the evening seemed great. Ordered their mushroom pizza and would definitely come back again.

Great spot for coffee and bagels. Tried the sesame bagel with smoked salmon and scallion cream cheese. It was pretty good but the atmosphere here was super cool, especially with the Halloween decor, and good music. Would like to try the pizza next time

Ordered bagel and cream cheese, hot chocolate and a fool on mill hill sandwich. Sandwich came in a bagel, with sprouts, avocado, etc. It was kinda average. Food fired bagels are good here. You need to order by the window and there was no place to sit and eat given cold and snowy/ rainy weather outside. Hot chocolate was good.

We stopped by the Mud Club for bagels, croissants and coffee and had a great time. We really liked the vibe of the place, the service was efficient, and the food was excellent. The pistachio croissant was delicious, the lox and shout bagel was quite good, as was Tinker Tuesday. The latte was very smooth but still offered an energetic boost of caffeine. Overall, we really liked the place and look forward to returning soon.

Great little coffee shop with TONS of creative sweet treats and hot delicious coffee. They have wonderful areas outside to kickback and relax in the sun. Even on a cold winter day it felt good sitting outside. They have heat lamps as well. Friendly and knowledgeable staff! We ordered a coffee, the buckwheat chocolate chip cookie, AMAZING Croissant bread pudding ( seriously yum ) and a sweet granola bar with fresh jam. Lovely place !

Best bagels ever. Period. They are not as huge as the NY ones and you don’t have cream cheese falling out every time you try to bite it. The texture and taste of the bagel are superb. My only disappointment was that they run out of plain bagels pretty fast - poppy seeds were the only bagels left when I got there at noon and they didn’t show any intention of making new ones that day. Be prepared to wait in line. Totally worth it assuming they have bagels other than the poppy seeds ones.

Bluestone Coffee Roasting Company takes pride in offering the finest coffee sourced from around the world, roasting in small batches to ensure maximum freshness. They also work with local suppliers for dairy and bake their own goods in-house. The cozy cafe serves light brunch fare such as breakfast paninis, sandwiches, French toast, and waffles along with a variety of beverages. While some visitors found the staff helpful but lacking in coffee knowledge, others appreciated the careful brewing process and delicious coffee.
Cute little coffee shop off of the Main Street. As a prior reviewer mentioned, there is one staff member working (owner maybe?) but does her best to get things done in a timely manner. Hey, I came for a great cup of coffee-grinding, brewing, or all takes time. I’d rather wait a little and have an amazing cup of coffee-over a quick serve watered down cup. If you want fast service go to a McDonald’s. If you want a locally roasted delicious coffee, come to Bluestone. Because I was having the coffee inside, I was offered a coffee mug and told To help myself-free refills! Amazing! The bluestone brew is so good I purchased a bag of beans to take home and ground to post to a friend. The last ground the beans for me to the desired fine. When ordering I mentioned I was a little hungry but not enough for their plates offered and I wasn’t in the mood for anything sweet (though all their baked goods looked delicious), the lady offered to do avocado toast. The delicious avocado toast and unlimited refills of coffee was $7, that’s right, $7! I was in heaven. I enjoyed three cups of coffee. I left to do some shopping and before leaving the area went back and ordered an iced coffee for the road. Definitely will be back again-DELICIOUS coffee.

Very nice and cozy dog friendly coffee shop, which has a ton of character with very warm and welcoming staff. We were in the area for a glamping trip staying at Autocamp(AC). We decided to have breakfast outside AC , this was an excellent choice . They roast their own coffee and flavors are very bright and good . We ordered iced and hot lattes both were very good . They had options for people who may not want dairy (we took Almond milk) . Breakfast was in competition with the coffee 😀😀 Tried their Veggie omelette , butter croissant 🥐, and bacon egg and cheese panini , all of them were excellent, omelette comes with breakfast potato’s very nice and crunchy toast and omelette has a generous veggie fill which I like . We will go there one more time before we get back home. If you are in this nice village of Saugerties NY or driving by , Bluestone coffee is great stop. They have indoor and outdoor seating , dogs are welcome ours had good time meeting with other dogs and lovely humans local and visiting.

I've never had a mocha latte that hot with chocolate chips at the bottom, it defied science. The barista was very upset when we asked about the muffins, the cranberry one was great. The OJ was frothy and green from the previously made drinks (assuming), which we enjoyed but may not be your cup of OJ if you are a traditional type.

My daughter loved the BLT that was safe for her food allergies! My husband loved that they had two pour over options for coffee! We appreciated their help with allergy awareness and modifications. Coffee was bitter and weak for an iced mocha. They have coffee, frappes, juice and teas. The vibe was perfect for a coffee shop. The location is great! It's in a nice area of Saugerties with shops and restaurants within walking distance.
Steven Q — Google review
The interior design is cute and the staff is helpful but ignorant (I had a pour over coffee and they didn't know the difference between various coffee beans they had - and they have plenty). But to give them credit, they brewed the coffee very nice (they were careful about coffee/water ratio as they were weighing both, which was surprising to see in a small town) and the coffee tasted very nice. They have non-coffee beverages and pastries as well but I didn't try any of them. Overall very cute small town coffee shop with plenty of nice decorations and spacious interior design that can also do well enough in a bigger city. I'm not sure how strict they are about the closing time of 4PM, because I got my drink at about 4PM and there were other people waiting in line to get their orders when I left.
Said E — Google review
Coffee is excellent, best in the area. Food is cafe style choices of pastries, wraps, breakfast choices. It’s all good and fresh but nothing unique or extraordinary different. As for the service? Really depends on the day. Basically if there’s more than 1 person on line it’s a long wait. Is someone coming out of the back to help? Probably and mostly likely not. Will people walk out because they know it will take 25 minutes to pay for a self serve coffee? Yes. This place is and has always been like this. It’s not a post-pandemic residual effect. This isn’t “the country” so things just move slower- unless you are from the city then this is probably the boonies to you, it’s just the vibe of the place. So don’t Karen out. You’ve been warned. But if you are in the mood for a good cup of coffee and don’t mind waiting or get lucky and walk in when no one else is on line then I highly recommend this place.

Very nice atmosphere in a great location. You can get any sandwich as a salad option. The chicken sandwich I had was incredible!! The chicken was juicy and well seasoned, the bacon was thick and perfectly cooked, not rubbery and not too crunchy when I bit into it. The sauce was, literally, finger lucking good. And, as a Texan, I can vouch for the brisket. Perfectly cooked with great flavor and melt in your mouth texture.

The breakfast buffet jackpot. Food was phenomenal and the price is extremely affordable. They have buffet Friday nights with prime rib. I think for the pricepoint we got way more than we expected. Never Again. I spent $70 at TPS Cafe and walked out with a stomachache and a grudge. First of all, the fries — dry, weirdly burnt, and completely unseasoned. Not even salt. How do you even mess that up? Then came the so-called Italian subs — two of them — both with bologna and mayo that we didn’t ask for (side-note-you ask for cheese and pay $2 like you’re paying for extra) . Excuse me? I don’t know what part of Italy that’s from, but I’ve never seen bologna on an Italian sub in my life. They looked so unappetizing we didn’t even touch them. Out of the entire meal, the only things we managed to eat was one mozzarella stick (and even that tasted off) and a pickle. A single, sad little pickle. That’s what our $70 boiled down to. I tried, I really did. But between the bland food, sketchy ingredients, and the fact that our appetites vanished the moment we opened the containers, we were done. Never again. Save your money, your taste buds, and your dignity. TPS Cafe is not it. The lemonade was actually good — but not $70 good. Also if you would like to know the prices online are completely different from what they actually are, so you think you’re paying like $30, you’re actually paying $70 Update: added salt to the fries myself

Listen, my cheeseburger was very tasty. I would order it again. Good folks and good diner atmosphere. I’d go again. But those fries. Burnt, tiny, and tasteless. Hannah and the staff have gone above and beyond to accommodate our needs and have been providing amazing fresh and delicious food to everyone almost everyday. Everything has been great and is fresh and made to order. The breakfast items, hot turkey sandwich, buffalo chicken wrap, salads and BLT have been some of our faves! Thank you Hannah and team for being wonderful!

About what you would expect from a small market cafe ( not that small town means it has to be bad service or food- there are great places nearby). Here we found average food and coffee. Wait server was rude as others have noted and forgot part of my lunch order but charged me for it. All in all the review could have been much more positive had the wait staff just been slightly pleasant.
JG — Google review
Could have been a bad day, but the server was in such a sour mood, you just could not feel like welcomed guests even if you hurled yourself into complete delirium. Without exposing her, but in case owners are interested, her name started with an “M”. She also cleaned up a spill on the floor, didn’t wash hands and then served us our food. Was eager to try a new place, since we have a home in the area, but sadly any motivation to return would be confined to desperation. The food however simple, was well received and would return if it weren’t for the ambiance and possible lack of hygiene protocols.

PAKT is a charming find in upstate, offering impressive vegan options and friendly service. The restaurant serves creative cocktails and delicious daily specials like red velvet cake French toast. Despite being understaffed during a visit, the accommodating staff ensured a wonderful dining experience. PAKT also hosts queer nightlife events such as drag shows and trivia, making it a must-visit spot for both locals and travelers alike.
We had made same day reservations for a bigger table (6 adults and 3 kids) on a rainy Sunday labor day weekend, and Dan was kind enough to accommodate our same day request and gave us a nice indoor table. Dan was clear at arrival about the fact that he was understaffed by 2 people and so understandably the service was slightly slower and explained this to us in a humorously convincing way. None the less, we were seated, placed our orders, and had a wonderful time under Dan's hospitality. And yes, if it isn't clear by now, Dan was one of the features of our visit to PAKT that made it a bit of an entertaining experience for us. Food Review: Let me begin by saying that food overall here was absolutely delicious and flavorful. We ordered a few things which included Biscuit N gravy ($14), their Award-Winning Mac and Cheese ($10) - which was a perfect portion for our 5 year old, a BLT Bene ($16), Jethro ($16), Egg Skillet ($13) one with crab cake and one with chicken, and a vegan option ordered by me, which was a really tasty Vegan Chilly which was listed on their specials menu. For drinks, I also ordered a Lite lager, and a very tasty Bloody Mary... the pickled okra on that Bloody Mary was Bloody tasty! Food took less than 25 minutes to arrive, and overall, we had a very nice experience at PAKT, thanks to Dan and his team! We will definitely visit again and will recommend this place to our friends who live in nearby towns.

Very tasty fried chicken on buttermilk biscuit. Very tough decision from a menu with so many things I wanted to try! Update: While my photography skills may well have gone downhill, PAKT continues to be excellent. The Jethro Box burger was fantastic (albeit a bit messy to eat in the car) and the side of greens I chose was sublime. I know - it's hard to screw up greens - but whatever they're doing takes it up that extra level.

Came here as a stop from upstate with a large group of friends. They were able to accommodate after making a reservation the morning of which was super nice since this place does get backed. Their beat hash browns are unique and something that I’d love to have again. If you’re in the area, you have to stop by because you can’t go wrong with any of the options.

Such yummy breakfast! No indoor dining so call ahead for pickup or eat outside. They have a new vegetarian gravy (Creole gravy) for a veggie sausage and biscuit. So good!

what a gem of a find while visiting upstate! we came for the vegan options & were highly impressed by everything. everyone was super friendly & accommodating with substitutions… food came out quick, hot & perfect. pictured is the vegetarian/an biscuits & gravy with root veggie hash browns which is not only genius cuisine but executed perfectly & delicious. added bonus is a full bar with creative cocktails, wish we were staying up here longer to visit again but next time we’re in town it’ll be our first stop! stay ungovernable; stay anti-fascist! ✊

Never disappointed. Consistently great food at affordable prices. Fun menu with a Cajun/Southern emphasis. And the customer service is always on point! Showing Kingston love by making Broadway it's home. Much respect. -Perfectly cooked eggs -Crack cornbread -Sweets Follow my IG: t_mo_swagglio23

Started out on the right foot with the friendly greeting from the counter as we walked in the restaurant. Eggs Benedict brunch hit our expectations. The friendly service exceeded them.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful breakfast experience, look no further than M&J Bagel Store Bakery Deli Cafe. This charming spot is renowned for its freshly baked bagels and scrumptious bakery items that will tantalize your taste buds. Whether you choose to dine in and soak up the inviting aroma of warm bread or grab a quick bite to enjoy outdoors, M&J offers an array of flavors and cream cheese options that are sure to impress.
This is hands down the best bagel I've ever had. Whenever I'm in town it is a MUST HAVE. You can't go wrong with any flavor, any cream cheese, or any sandwich they have on the menu. We've done large orders before with family and friends, and everyone absolutely raves about them. The best New York bagel not only in town, but potentially anywhere. Not to mention that the staff is more than accommodating, super friendly, and very talented. Don't pass this place up! Swing on by and enjoy the best of the best.

Amazing homemade baked goods... Muffins, cookies, baklava, cinnamon rolls. Wow!!! Bagels are freshly made in house and deliciously chewy. And the most delicious samosas I've ever had. Well done!

Fast service, fresh and delicious food. Visited Hunter, NY for the weekend. My husband had been there before, and said we have to go get breakfast as this place. Ordered a bacon egg & cheese on a sesame bagel. Everything I’d hope for, for a breakfast sandwich. The fresh bagels made right there really make a difference. I should have taken a dozen home!

This is mine and my boyfriend’s (Jared) favorite spot for bagels. We are daily customers for their freshly baked Cinnamon Raisin and Asiago Everything Bagels. We just recently moved 45 minutes away and after trying and being disappointed by a different bagel shop, we promptly called here and ordered a dozen and made the drive for them so we could still enjoy our favorite bagels for the week! The bagels aren’t too thick and “bready,” they get the perfect crisp to them and it’s also one of my boyfriends favorite place for a baconeggandcheese! We’ll miss living next door but will still continue to buy in bulk!!!!

After a long weekend of skiing, my boyfriend and I stopped here on our way home. These were so good we actually went back to get more to bring home. So fresh and the service was quick and efficient. Can't recommend enough!
