What an ambiance. We were received by the kindest hostess and server and then seated in the middle of this historic dining room. Both indoor and outdoor seating were picturesque. The food was also decent although I found the omelets cooked in a little bit extra oil as I could, it's residue on my plate and it bothered me a little. The side salad was amazing with a little bit of extra dressing for my liking. We tried their hot chocolate with Irish cream which was neither hot nor cold somewhere in the middle but tasted decent.

We came at 2 PM and got an indoor table right away (highly recommend — outdoor seating can get hot). The mansion is gorgeous, with preserved wallpaper, chandeliers, and woodwork that give it so much charm. Service was top-notch — our server had great energy and honest food tips. We had the Big Iron Gate with an English muffin and the Mother Clucker Burger. The standout was the Cherry peppers ạ the sweet and spicy paired well with juicy proteins (chicken and sausage) and eggs. Only downside: the bathroom had an unpleasant smell. Fixing that would make the before-and-after-meal experience much better.

This is a very great cafe. The food was fabulous and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They treated us with respect and kindness. The whole experience was amazing. The inside of the building was so impressive that you could feel at home with the whole experience. The outside was just as beautiful and peaceful. I have not captured the experience on my camera but trust me if you can then you should stop in for a wonderful experience in food and service.

Delicious food, I got Cajun scramble and asked for mushrooms and it was amazing. We also got raspberry Brie French toast which was melt in your mouth good! Very cute from the inside, good find for us!

Loved everything about it. My family ordered salads with all kinds of veggies, quinoa and chicken. Hearty, fresh, yum… menu is diverse with tons of great sounding options. Sammies, Benedict’s, bloodies, Prosecco…Lovely garden setting outside. Historical architecture and warm, ornate woodwork inside with chandeliers and stained glass inside. Nice staff.

Perfect spot for brunch! I’ve come a few times since moving to Albany, NY. Absolutely love coming in the spring/summer especially if you do patio seating. We were warmly greeted. My drinks are ALWAYS perfect if Mary/Trish is at the little bar, she gives amazing recommendations, and very professional. It makes a difference when you can notice someone actually likes their job and interacts with us customers. My coworkers & I work nearby and it’s a great meet up place for a few lattes in between business meetings. I’ve not found another brunch spot yet outside of the Nest but I prefer the customer service here. Best menu item is hands down the French toast. Feels more like “home.” Thanks! ☺️

We stopped here for breakfast before leaving town, and it was amazing. The people were so kind, the portions are large and the food (and coffee) were delicious. We got the cinnamon French toast sticks to start, and had the Florentine Beni, California Avocado Burrito and the Blueberry Pancakes. All of them were amazing.

Four stars ultimately because the staff was so nice. I would say that the food was ‘good’ BUT the fact that it took forever and a day for our order to come out is what made it ‘not great.’ I appreciated that the menu had vegetarian alternatives though and I could see myself inviting a variety of people to brunch here because of this. The bad: not photographed is the plethora of spiders and dead bugs in the front window— that really killed the experience for me. If I returned, I think I would ask to sit outside on the patio instead.

We actually went to another highly-reviewed breakfast place but the parking was nil so we spotted this location in Google's recommendations and so glad we came for breakfast! On-street parking was easy to find. It was definitely busy which is always a good sign. We came for brunch this past Sunday. There was no wait to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather while eating. My son had a breakfast burrito, my littlest had the Belgian waffles with strawberries and whipped cream, and my husband and I tried the Florentine Beni and Crab Cakes Beni. I also ordered the granola parfait, which didn't come at first. But was delicious when I did eventually get it. We did have to request water for our table but I understand they were pretty busy. Maybe making that the initial part of the wait staff's initial greeting/process would probably go a long way in keeping guests occupied while they wait for food and drinks. All in all, the food was delicious, the wait times for food and drinks were as expected, the atmosphere was laid-back and family-oriented, and the prices were very reasonable. We would definitely return and recommend for brunch with the family!

We stopped in on a Friday mid morning in September for brunch with a group of 6. We were seated in the dining area immediately. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was good. I didn’t have any alcoholic beverages but a couple in the group had bloody Mary’s and said they were good. Overall very nice experience.

I would highly recommend Café Madison to anyone and encourage them to try the Crème Brûlée French toast if they enjoy that type of food. More detailed breakdown of review below. Staff: D gave a fantastic recommendation for the Crème Brûlée French Toast! I had a craving for French Toast and heard good things about Café Madison so I decided to stop. She was friendly and asked for my food preference before giving a recommendation and seating me. Jada was my server and was very friendly as well. Food: The french toast had a delicious layer of custard and a caramelized sugar top. The whipped cream on the side wasn't homemade but was still very good and paired well with the strawberry slices. The butter side was made in house and added a subtle sweetness to an already rich dish but was not overpowering. I'm also glad there was no powdered sugar as I think that would have made the dish too sweet, although that's more of a preference. I also tried a Matcha Iced Coffee which was refreshing and not overly sweet. I requested a water as well to drink with the meal so I could enjoy the iced matcha more slowly. Atmosphere & Parking: I parked out front and paid for parking. I came for breakfast and there wasn't any difficulty finding a spot in the morning, but I could see busier times making parking close a challenge. I sat inside and the atmosphere was nice and fairly quiet. It was an overall enjoyable experience and I'm looking forward to trying another dish here soon!

We tried the chicken and French toast and the Mediterranean omlette and loved both. The vibe and service are great too.

Updated July 2025 (to add a new image and drink): My partner and I have been coming here every weekend since December 2023. The reason being that we love the staff and the great food! One weekend they had a Taylor Swift themed weekend where they served her favorite dishes and played her music all weekend. It was so much fun, even for casual listeners of her music. The food is amazing. We usually get omelettes or the standard breakfast. Sometimes we also order the special so we can try it out. For drinks- We get a champagne dream (on recommendation of staff). We primarily come to the bar, where you can always find seating and great service. Drew (bartender, pictured serving his drink creations) has been amazing and has even been learning to make his own drinks. He has some incredible "Drew Specials," such as a Clover Club with a raspberry twist (off-menu items, as shown in the attached image) and a few others he's made for us (like the citrusy Chamomile Gin Fizz in 3rd image with the citrus rind, the Blueberry Sunset in 4th and 5th images with red transitioning to a lighter color, the raspberry cosmo in 6th image with the dark citrus slice), the Sunset by the Beach (orange/yellow drink with red at the bottom and an orange rind), the Blackberry Smash (purple drink with blueberries and basil garnish), and the Watermelon Refresher (tajin on the rim and orange rind). Sarah also has her own "Sarah Specials," such as the Blueberry Limoncello Drop (in image of a martini glass with blueberry and citrus garnish), Mister Earl's-tini (darker drink with citrus rind hanging off the side), or the Spicy Cranberry Vod-tini (apple slice). We will continue to come here every weekend, as it's close to home and always has great food, drinks, and friendly staff. This place is different but cool . They ha e books to read, a t-shirt shop, etc. You order online or at the cashier but your food is brought out to you. The crepes were good. They are served up like a cinnamon roll. The prices are good but I somehow felt the portions were small. The place is big.

I was passing through the area with a friend who was attending a nearby function. Hungry but craving something simple and low-key, I browsed a few nearby spots. A cozy creperie caught my eye—honestly, I realized it had been way too long since I’d had a proper, hearty crepe. Later, I returned with my friend, and we shared both savory (pulled pork) and sweet crepes. Both hit the spot. The neighborhood itself added to the charm—great for people-watching with a relaxed, understated vibe. The ambiance was casual, the service efficient, and the menu had a nice balance between sweet and savory. Portions were on the smaller side, but satisfying. I’d happily return—and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an unfussy, enjoyable bite.

This place was delicious, clean, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Definitely recommend the smash burger it was awesome as well as their take on a hash brown, the hash purples, with beets which were delicious. Overall great experience.

It is an order from the table or up at the counter type of service. The food I ordered was ok for the most part. I had a couple of issues though. The eggs were obviously made on a dirty skillet as they came out a little black from the old grease. I asked for the hot chocolate to be hot, and she said that they can make it piping hot. I thought that would be perfect. But, alas, the hot chocolate was luke-warm at best. I would recommend eating here, but maybe take note of anything you might dislike to bring to their attention. I did not want to do that. I was not going to wait for anything to be remade, as they should really do it right the first time. I'm sure many people have had lovely experiences. They are locally outsourced, so that is good. Hopefully, they take note of my review and make sure this doesn't happen again.

I had the eggs and crepes breakfast. Scrambled eggs were very salty? Crepes were very good as well as the sausage. Delicious coffee. Not a lot of food IMO for $15. Interesting decor. Relaxed atmosphere.

Great music and excellent crepes, pancakes plus much more. Maple milkshakes in Western NY cannot go wrong😇. We love the crepes in sweet and savory flavors, which included the Blueberry, Cubano, Pesto Chicken and “Johnny” with pulled pork 👍👍👍 Easy self ordering systems too 😎. Great place for that any time breakfast items cravings 🤩😂. Excellent service team 😊.

Loved this combo of food plus the serve yourself with a few things gave a kind of cozy atmosphere. The food was absolutely delish. And the staff was very friendly.

We visited this location before the renovation and after the renovation. The place looks beautiful but on a busy Saturday morning it can get pretty cramped. Both times we have visited. There are wait times although not too long. Perhaps 15 minutes max . Sometimes it just feels like you’re eating on top of people. We receded in the back in the center aisle and it was just cramped. Every time someone got up or passed us. It just felt like a breeze would pass over our food. Even the waitress seemed annoyed, trying to pass behind me and two other tables. Speaking of the food, it was good, but nothing to write home about. My wife got the Benedict and it was cold in the middle. My omelette was a tad cold in the middle as well. This, given the fact that it took a very long time to get the food. I legitimately had 2 cups of coffee before the food came. It’s a decent place and it looks great especially the bar area. However, I don’t think we would return on a busy day.

Had a lovely breakfast date with my youngest on a Friday morning. We were seated and ordered right away. Our server, Brittany, was very pleasant. My son had their fresh squeezed orange juice and I had a coffee with added sugar free caramel syrup. My son had the kids Mickey Mouse pancake with chocolate chips and I had the New Orleans omelet with extra marinaded mushrooms and home fries. Delicious and enough to take home for later! Will definitely return.

The interior is nice and modern, and the service itself was good. My meal came out hot, but my husband’s was cold—even though there was no one ahead of us. The Texas egg dish was disappointing: very dry, and the chips were stale. I also considered getting dessert to go, but it looked messy—cake crumbled and falling over. On top of that, I noticed open butter cups sitting next to a mop stick and a waitress spraying hairspray nearby, which didn’t feel very sanitary. Overall, the atmosphere was better than the food, but I wouldn’t recommend this spot based on our experience.

Ordered the Mexican Benedict and California Benedict, and both were okay. The poached eggs were overcooked and not runny at all when we cut into them. Flavor is alright, definitely not worth waiting in line for. Seems like they skimp on the potatoes that come with the order and they were a bit overcooked as well.

I likely will never be able to estimate how many times I have enjoyed Peaches Cafe over the the years. And the best reason for that has to be the food! So yummy, so consistently at an excellent level. If you come to the Albany area…make Peaches a must! (5min for ALB airport!)

Had the crab cake Benedict and an amazing latte. Yes it’s a bit cramp but the food and service was great!

Okay, so I just had a dessert marathon, and wow! The raspberry lemon drop cake was so bright and zesty, it was perfect. Next up, the berry mascarpone cake was a total dream, light and fluffy with all those fresh berries. I also tried the tiramisu, and it was a classic, rich and coffee-infused goodness. Finally, the blackout cake was unbelievably decadent and chocolatey, seriously amazing!

It was overall fine. My supposed-to-be-rare steak was kind of unevenly cooked/over-cooked, but taste was pretty good. Prices are a bit too high.

Wellington's offers an upscale dining experience in Albany with great ambience and excellent food. The staff runs lean and often gets overwhelmed when the place gets busy or when dealing with large groups. Nonetheless, it is certainly worth a visit!

Alex, Olivia, Ian, Katie, Marco were fantastic people when I arrived at the Wellington restaurant. Super fun engaging conversation when I was at the bar enjoying myself. Loved the filet steak, cooked perfectly. Loved the cheesecake and the cosmos were perfect. 10/10 would come again if I was in Albany.

Staff was attentive at first but host was on his phone the whole time. We came in and our food took a while being that the whole restaurant was empty for lunch. I got the salmon bowl and the salmon was completely raw. We couldn’t get anyone’s attention and had to wait for the other waiter to come: she was highly apologetic and wonderful. Got my food back it was okay. They didn’t comp anything on the bill and the waiters didn’t seem to be on top of things even though it was empty. We had to wait five minutes after giving them the card for the bill to get it back. Would not recommend

Overpriced and Overly Mediocre Experience I recently visited hoping for a decent meal but was thoroughly disappointed by both the food quality and the overall atmosphere. Even by Albany standards, the prices here do not match the mediocre quality delivered. The dining experience started poorly with the main course. I ordered the burger, priced at $19, and it had a distinct and very off-putting bitter, burnt taste. The char on the patty was completely overwhelming, making the dish nearly inedible. The appetizer was equally perplexing. The charcuterie board was strange and felt poorly curated. It featured odd components like pickled zucchini and squash, which certainly don't belong on a classic board. More critically, the meats tasted low-quality and old. The salami was reminiscent of cheap low-grade sandwich meat, the prosciutto was noticeably dry, and the selection felt confused with the inclusion of chorizo. This plate, in particular, did not reflect the price point or the expectation of fresh ingredients. The only saving grace was the buffalo wings, which were simply alright—nothing special enough to merit a return visit. Beyond the menu, the restaurant itself feels rundown. The furniture is in dire need of repair; the fake leather on the chairs was peeling like crazy, creating a noticeably worn and unprofessional look. Between the poor execution of the food and the tired atmosphere, this establishment is significantly overpriced for what it offers. I cannot recommend it.

Food was really good, restaurant was super clean and well kept. Ordered the berry salad which was delicious and a burger. The burgher was a bit too crispy personally but still very good. Server had a great personality.

As a Salvi, I cannot stress how good and surprised I am that this place exists! Super sad that Mama Julia's doesn't exist anymore... but it's worth the trip for the service, people, and atmosphere! Note though: it is a bit small and we came at a low time (which is a plus for my family) so be aware when this place gets packed. No doubt in my mind they'll get food out quick!!!

Me and my boyfriend came here for a very late brunch and it was good. French toast reminded me of going to any old retro diner, nice and fluffy. Sausage was giant and had an amazing crunch when you bit into it. Only issues we had were the eggs were lacking a bit of seasoning and the home fries definitely needed more crisp, slightly soggy. All in all both of the main parts of our meal were delicious and we’d come back if we were in the area

First time here and found by searching Google for nearby diners. Is definitely someplace I would eat at again when in Albany. Beef gyro was good and had enough tzatziki sauce to make it messy (a good gyro should be). Food came fast and hot. Service very good!

Such a fantastic little gem. We stopped here after a doctors appointment for breakfast. The staff was super friendly and the service was very quick. On top of that they had amazing food. We ordered their homemade corn beef hash and it was absolutely one of the best parts of our meal. Their eggs, sausage, bacon and home style potatoes were cooked perfectly. As soon as they brought out the Belgian waffle you could smell the vanilla. It was such a wonderful meal for a very affordable price.

My one and only diner in the Capital Region — I take all my friends here when they visit! The food never fails, the service is always fast, and they’ve upgraded their interior and menu while keeping that classic diner charm. I’ve come here with big groups and by myself, and it’s always great. Even before I lived in Albany, I had to stop by whenever I was in the Capital. Their Mexican quesadillas are to die for!

I come here 3/4 times a week for their sausage egg and cheese on a sesame seed bagel and service is always great, food is GREAT. Such a little gem on new Scotland. A staple if you work or live in the area 🙃 also the best fruit bowl side I’ve ever had. Actually fresh, ripe, high quality fruits!

New to the capital region and our friend brought us here. A beautiful welcoming café! We had, The New Scotland Clucker, The Albany Cardinal, and The Supreme Avacado. Every dish was perfect and delicious. The owner was so kind and informative! We also found out the cookies are made by an 8th grader and a dollar from every cookie sold he puts into their college fund! What a beautiful way to support your community! 10 out of 10!

Yes! You want to eat here 👍🏽 We love this place. The food is yummy and the staff is always wonderful. Very welcoming atmosphere, feels like apart of the community and not imposed. We have watched it evolve overtime and we really hope it’s here to stay. Love me a spontaneous Avo toast 🥑

I wholeheartedly agree with the review by @George Jenkins. I came to this establishment with my husband and two friends. One friend was 74 years old. My elderly friend could not see the screen with the menu, so he touched it and tried to make it bigger. The bald gentleman with the beard chastised him and said, "Don't touch it." My friend explained that he could not see the screen, and the bald gentleman told him, "If you have a smartphone, you can look at the menu online." Really...Is a 74-year-old going to see a tiny phone screen better than a large touchscreen menu? It was a rude way to deal with an elderly customer. Apart from that, the bald gentleman came over and snatched the bag of napkins out of his hand when he was trying to grab one. Why? How could you treat an older man that way? I honestly did not like my coffee. It was weak, and the pistachio flavor was not noticeable, but my bad experience could have contributed to the bad taste in my mouth. I noticed a few people were treated kindly by the bald gentleman. They seemed to be from the LGBT community, but I cannot be sure. Either way, I am a black woman, and I volunteer heavily in the local community, so gender and race are of no importance to me, but neither is age. I wish no bad for this business but do better. PLEASE DO BETTER. Be truly inclusive. Treat all people with kindness and dignity, not just those who live, love, and look like you. My elderly friend told me he liked his coffee and the clean bathrooms, so I want to add those truths to my review. We will not be coming back here based on principle. I hope you guys can get a few larger print menus for the visually impaired.

This was my first experience at this establishment. Took my wife and I a minute to soak up the atmosphere, which at first was a little offsetting but still was charming. I had ordered the supreme avocado toast and a hot breakfast tea, my wife had ordered a sandwich which she absolutely enjoyed. I'm not much for reading reviews before I leave one, I don't want to have my reviews influenced by others. That being said the staff at first was a little gruff, or grouchy understandable given the heat outside and the temperature given off from the kitchen. We enjoyed our meal immensely and will look forward to returning as time allows. Thank you much for all of your hard work and dedication doing what you enjoy.

Well, I should have known better but I went anyway. I spent the night with a friend and they suggested a quick breakfast sandwich at this location, so i checked the reviews and I should have taken them more seriously. I went in wearing a shirt that supported veterans (nothing offensive) but I suppose it gave away my political affiliation and the death stare I received from the bald guy with a beard (I assume Brandon from other reviews) was a clear indication that I was not wanted. I noticed the plethora of LGBT stuff which is whatever as long as the food and service is good I could care less. However I literally received a “yea what do you want”. I smirked and ordered a breakfast sandwich which really seemed to annoy him even more. I was TOLD to move to the side so that OTHER PEOPLE COULD ORDER. I politely moved to the side and watched as his attitude changed when greeting the female with rainbow themed socks, it was night and day attitude. Again I don’t care who you affiliate with or what you do In your personal life just treat others with whom you don’t agree with, with respect if they are being respectful to you. I can almost guarantee the bald guy has a “Coexist” sticker on his car with a love is love and hate has no home here flag on his front yard. I did nothing but order a sandwich to go and the clear hate is digits that he displayed to me compared to what they preach is complete and utter hypocrisy. Never again will I step foot. And as for the food. For 11.00 it was ok at best.

Tried The Breakfast Spot and had a great experience overall! We ordered online while sitting outside the building, and the wait time was about 15 minutes, which was reasonable. The inside of the restaurant was small but very clean and well-kept—impressive considering the neighborhood. The food was delicious, especially the two dish we ordered. I would definitely order again! The only downside was the potatoes. They came in a large container, which made the portion look smaller than expected, and they were a bit greasy. Other than that, everything was great! Would recommend for a quick, tasty breakfast!

this place is the most horrible service ever. I waited about one hour and 15 minutes for a bacon egg and cheese that takes about Less than 30 minutes to me even on a rush this This is ridiculous. The amount of weight that somebody has to wait for some food it’s crazy and then you want to overly charge somebody almost 9 dollars for bacon, egg and cheese that’s not even worth it.

i didn't have a mama but i'm pretty sure if i had this is what love tastes like lol... everything tasted like it was made by someone who set it down in front of you with a "Go on... get that in ya" ... the prices are so absurdly good i feel guilty, like i should have paid more. i mean this from the heart--this breakfast was what i needed today. Food was good just plan on waiting an hour for it I went on a Thursday 8:06 after calling several times no answer I arrived the waiter took my order left the store came back around 8:15 and still didnt start to prepare had to remind her I was waiting told me 5 more minutes .... food was out at 9:03

Lady taking orders is rude got a breakfast sandwich the only good thing was hard roll never asked me how i liked my eggs they were folded abd3 runny bacon was cold and microwave no your welcomed after saying thank u she has a bad attitude i try to support black owened establishment as a black female but the service i got was rude if you don3 want to be an employee tyan3 dont i refuse to support rude uncaring establishments with rude service use yo3 be much more pleasant but not no more

Took over 50 min after ordering to get our food 2 egg sandwiches was told 20min every time id ask id get told 5 mim for 20. Would have left if I didnt already pay for the food, was good but not worth the wait. Good luck if you do!

This is a great spot! We went for a late breakfast on a weekday. It was pretty empty but the service was great! I will say the breakfast sourdough sandwich was amazing!!! Crispy and delicious! The home fries are so good too. Full of flavor and crispy. The French toast was equally as delicious! Definitely a must try in the area.

I stayed at the Desmond Hotel and this restaurant was attached. I stayed for 3 nights and went there for dinner, Happy Hour & breakfast. It was phenomenal. Staff was attentive and personable. I got the chicken and it was a huge serving and the best Chicken French I’ve ever had! I even had a mocktail that was delicious! Highly recommend their Bread Pudding!!!!! It’s amazing!

Had a lovely visit. My husband and I stopped in for a drink and found seats at the bar right away. My hubby had a dirty martini and I had a cocktail with lemon and honey, I believe (I forgot the name but it was delicious). I also ordered a Cuban sandwich with chips and coleslaw and took it to my room. Yum! Bartender was friendly and attentive and it was clean and nicely decorated. Will absolutely return.

Our flight was cancelled after the worst day in the airport so getting greeted so sweetly by Emily was a nice treat. She was so nice to our daughter and when she heard her crying at the table she came over and played with her some to smooth her. The food was ok but we would come back for the service and Warness we got from Emily.

The food is OUTSTANDING! We travel alot and eat at hotel restaurants and are mostly always disappointed but this place was amazing. I had the seared apple pork chop and it was so delicious. The asparagus was good, the pork chop was juicy! I've been to places were the pork chop would be dry and rough yuck. If you're in the area or staying at the lovely hotel definitely stop by and eat here! Seat yourself, the staff, chef and waitress are kind and friendly.

It is ALWAYS the best. Food is excellent every time. Servers are always accommodating and the ambiance is always "just right". Is is our favorite spot when we want a good time.

This place gets alot of business and for good reason. Plenty of greek options on the menu. This is my go to diner for UPSTNY (upstate new york) Service is kind, attentive and prompt. Got my coffee topped off, food in a jiff, and bill at the right time. Gotta love that kind of service. If the owner is reading this, we long for dining options like this in Pittsburgh.

Large, clean diner with ample parking. No wait to be seated. Service was quick and professional. Food was fine. But it’s the noisiest diner I have yet to be in. Still, we liked it. And I liked our waiter. Middle aged fellow with a face mask. I liked that I could make eye contact across the room, look down at my empty coffee cup, and he got the message. That’s experience... ♿️

I have visited Capital City Diner a few times. Had either a breakfast or club sandwich. They were both made to order and we're both good. I went to the diner this time because of my desire for meat loaf and mashed potatoes. I did not want a full dinner. My waitress, Irene, who was exceptional, was trying to figure a way to fulfill my desire. We came up with a meat loaf sandwich and side of mashed potatoes. I could remove the bread or not. The Diner had a good crowd. She returned quite fast with the order and a smile. A very good presentation as you can see. Unfortunately, the meat loaf was commercial and fair at best. The potatoes were instant but was ok as was the gravy. Irene stopped back, asked how it was and asked if there was anything she could do. I told her not to worry. I would take the leftovers with me. I took 1/2 the sandwich and some potatoes with me. Heating them in a toaster oven made a big change . They were quite good. In fairness to the Diner, They have an extensive menu. I am sure most items were quite good. Fair prices and hard to make everything from scratch. The staff seemed very nice. Irene was upbeat, attentive, and helpful. The Diner was clean, bright, and had a good crowd.

Just had lunch there. No wait to be seated even though it was Saturday lunch time. Hostess was very pleasant!!! Our waitress ( Irene) was amazing, very thoughtful, quick and seemed happy to be there. The matzo ball soup (huge tender matzo ball!) was the best I've ever had, including in NYC and Shaker Heights delis. The hot turkey and gravy sandwich was also delicious - and a more than generous serving. The atmosphere is comfortable and pleasant and the server was awesome. I will be back.

terrible experience. we ordered 3 hot dishes and after a 20 minute wait asked them if our order was ready and they said it was coming but didn’t even check on the status. after another 20 minute wait, we checked again just to find out that they didn’t even have the order. if they just checked the first time we asked, it would’ve been okay but after forty minutes of waiting, we were too annoyed to wait even longer. then they tried to offer us cold food that someone had ordered. the brownies were good but we had to ask for them after we ordered, and waited 20 minutes, because they didn’t give it to us immediately after we paid. also they used microwaves to heat up the food, rather than ovens.

Always hit this spot when im in the area for business. Love their coffee options as well as the breakfast options. Great spot to chill and answer emails as well. Friendly staff.

Make sure you ask them to warm your bacon and toast your bagel if you order a breakfast sandwich… Sesame bagel, LTO, Bacon, Cream cheese… all cold as if it came out of a fridge. Bagel feels like a gas station bagel that’s been wrapped up for a couple days… makes me wonder if these other raving reviews are even real…

Spouse and I were traveling through and decided to try Professor Java's. Was worth the stop. We both got the the Professors Sandwich - one with bagel, one with croissant. Spouse got coffee; I got (unsweet) ginger tea. 😋

Went today with 2 friends of mine. The place is cute and decently decorated. Somewhat difficult to read the hand printed menus from the line but at the register we noticed the printed menus. Everyone was friendly but the food took a long time to come out. Maybe the person making the food was new but it was a long wait for some simple breakfast sandwiches and wraps. We are not impressed with the food. The wrap was wet and the turkey sandwich had chunks of deli style turkey like I've never seen before. Instead of thin sliced they were chunks of deli meat. Very odd. I ended up removing them from my sandwich. The coffee drinks were excellent, however, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. I would return for a great cafe' style coffee drink but their food menu needs to be reworked. Everyone who worked there was pleasant!

Best workshop/cafe in the area by a long shot. Don't be thrown off by the big box strip mall style location—the interior is great, tons of seating in a few different rooms and spaces that each have a bit of their own vibe. And plenty of outdoor tables too which, though they're sort of in a parking lot, are still a great place to get some work done

We have been coming to PJ for years! We loved the old location- I think it just had a cozy feeling, but totally understand the move for more room- more kitchen space, more tables, more everything. I love the artwork that is on exhibit and changes frequently. The coffee is delicious, the muffins are amazing and the brownies?!? Get one of each. Love them!! We have had yummy breakfast sandwiches, wraps & bagels. You really can’t go wrong. A must visit!

Have had my eye on pearl st diner for a minute now and finally got to try it. I really enjoyed their egg sandwich with sausage on a hard roll and coffee. As a Diner Enthusiast, I always enjoy finding a diner situated within city streets. Within this diner exists an extensive breakfast and lunch menu owned and operated by a charismatic husband and wife; Tony and Lucia. Capturing the nostalgia of old school diners while maintaining the modernity of a 21st restaurant, it's a unique blend. I could talk to them all day. On top of this, the food was delicious and the coffee smooth. I will be returning!

In a post covid era where NYC continues to feel the economic ramifications reflected in empty store fronts and shuttered restaurants, the Pearl Street Diner was just what I was looking for in Lower Manhattan. It seems that NYC has a lack of good diners these days. This gem, tucked on Pearl Street away from the congested streets, teems with nostalgia and hearty good food. I stumbled across this place as I was trying to kill time waiting for a meeting to start in lower Manhattan. I was welcomed by a warm staff and immediately served coffee. The vibe feels distinctly "1950's" with the cozy booths and bar seating. The breakfast menu has everything you would expect from a diner in a traditional American sense. The wrap I ordered was made exactly how I requested. I stayed and worked on my laptop for a considerable time and was not rushed out at any moment. If you're in lower Manhattan and want a delicious meal for breakfast for lunch, this is the place to come. You will not be sorry :-)

Pearl Street Diner is an authentic NY diner with 5 star service and extremely delicious food. I had a Chicken Mediterranean Flatbread wrap and fries and we tried onion rings that did not disappoint!

Called ahead to make sure they could seat us. Came in with over 20 people. We were sat down immediately, all got drinks quickly, and were all fed rapidly as well. Typical diner food. Good portions, good prices. A quick, downhill walk from the Capitol building, worth a visit!

We came in as a group of six with just 45 minutes before our connecting train to Montreal — and for a minute, we actually thought we’d made it to Montreal already because the service was that good. They seated us right away, laughed at our jokes (rare skill, 10/10), and somehow had our food out in about 10 minutes. It was hot, delicious, and exactly what we needed before sprinting back to the station. Instead of panic-shoveling food and running, we actually got to sit, eat, and joke around like normal humans. For a brief moment, we forgot we were on a tight schedule — and that’s saying something when you’ve got Amtrak breathing down your neck. Pearl Street Diner turned a stressful layover into a smooth snack time. If we’d missed the train, honestly… it would’ve been worth it

Went for lunch, just a quick bite. Walked in, place was more than half empty, so I asked the hostess/server for a booth, as she wanted me to take a tiny table and I had work to do. She sat me at a booth; I took off my jacket, put my papers down, ordered a coke..when she came back with th drink, she said her manager told her I had to move to a tiny table because booths are for two or more...there were at least four empty booths at the time, and no one waiting to be seated. Manager absolutely refused to allow me to sit at the booth, so I left...never to return. nasty staff makes for non-customers!

The new owners have really cleaned this place up. It looks great. Now let's hope they increase the number of items on their menu. Very limited offerings. Buffalo.wings were tasty however the French fries came to the table ice cold. The employee was super nice about heating them up for me but I'm not sure why that would happen in the first place. Not rushing back unless I see an expanded menu.

Looking for a breakfast sandwich? Get the hungry irishman. I don’t usually write reviews but this place deserves it. Doesn’t look like much from the outside (or the inside for that matter - it’s a down to earth Mom and Pop shop kinda place) but the food is excellent and has a homecooked feel. I usually prefer cooking things myself because I can make it how I like it and I know I’m using good ingredients. This place does just that. That egg sandwich beat mine and that’s rare. Delicious.

The turkey club sandwich was decent. But would have benefited from a better portion of bacon. The third slice of bread was a bit much and made the sandwich crunchy and bit dry overall. The fries get a 0/10. Whatever spice they put on completely destroyed the fries.

The sandwiches are always great here, made to order. It’s a hole in the wall, well worth stopping in. My go to place! Not much in atmosphere, but then again, the sun shines through the front windows, and there’s several tables to eat at and bask in the sun. They have their regulars and it seems like plenty of people keep discovering their food. Homemade bread pudding, great, hot or cold, deli sandwiches, and a lot more.

Good menu variety, with everything prepared right in front of you - even the burgers! I got a chicken Caesar wrap and it was one of the better ones I've had. It's a spacious room for a downtown lunch counter, with plenty of dine-in space and room to avoid tripping over each other while waiting. (I was there during a busy lunchtime.) Staff is very friendly.

Reasonably priced, super friendly service and great menu! I wish I found this place sooner. A great option for lunch near me. Salads, sandwiches, burgers, breakfast options, and cold brew. Plus you can see the whole grill and it is exceptionally clean, the food is made to order.

The people who work here are really nice, but this place is just way too expensive for what you get. Almost $20 for a cobb salad with pretty mid-quality (at best) chicken and lettuce and bottle of water is just too much money.

Big L was really good. Kinda pricey but so is everything these days. The staff were nice.

The staff here are all incredibly friendly and the owner is a really sweet lady who always stops to say hello. I come here whenever I am in Albany. The crispy chicken wrap is my favorite, and the onion rings are delicious too. If you're not a fan of crowds, come around 2:30 because it's nearly empty at that time, but it's packed earlier in the lunch hour.

The Cafe 111 burger is the best cheeseburger in America. Could not recommend more.

The Jules on ciabatta? Delicious! Do yourself a favor and get your sandwiches here instead of the chain shops. Real bacon, quality deli slices and the toasted bun are ridiculous together. Busy during lunch hours but it's a really chill spot where the employees seem like they're having a good time themselves. LOVE this place!

Salad bar is 11.99$ a pound. Knowing this, I build my salads to be between 0.4 and 0.6 lbs. (Mostly salad greens, 2 cherry tomatoes, 2 cucumber slices, sprinkle of bacon, no dressing.) This is the third time I have had checkout attempt to bill me for a pound of salad when the weight came out to 0.59 lbs at the scale. Then I witness the scale weight changing before my eyes while making my case to the person running check out. I figured the first two times may have been human error, but I've visibly caught them altering scale read out. This organization is run by thieves.

I typically get the chef's special for the day, which you can view online before heading over to it. The daily chef's special is usually fairly priced, tasty and includes a good portion size. There is a decent amount of seating inside, too.

I just threw up the morning after eating the fried chicken. It tasted like it had been frozen and I physically couldn’t put my plastic fork through the crust because it was so hard and thick.

The quality is extremely inconsistent. It frequently changes from decent to disgusting. For the first time in my life, I threw out a chocolate chip cookie because it tasted so bad. 🤮

Good lord. I don't know where they get their "chefs" from but the food is sub par for the price they charge. Got some creamy chicken soup today and it's loaded with so much salt and pepper I can barely eat it. The soups are always some kids of weird mish mash and always LOADED with salt. The pizza isn't great but if you're desperate it does the trick. Chef's corner is iffy, don't get the chicken marsala....it's far from what you'd normally expect chicken marsala to be. WAY too expensive for the poor quality you get.

I've had great salads there, but got the Beef and Potato soup today and, if it wasn't for the long walk back, would have returned it. I removed several LARGE pieces of fat and hard gristle. Most of the "meat" consisted of a small amount of beef surrounded by chewy fat.

I get their lunch salads which are great. There's a certain sparsity to the place, probably due to the COVID, but they still have some good choices. Last time I was there they were out of decaf 😕.

The place is very nice. You seat yourself and order by QR code. I like restaurant interaction and this is definitely not that. Only time you speak with someone is when food is brought out. Definitely upscale. The food was good. I had a bacon, egg and cheese on a ciabatta roll and my wife has oatmeal. I had hot chocolate and she went for a coffee. Eggs were light and fluffy, bacon very good.

Stopped in for brunch with my two daughters. The restaurant was busy but the wait was less than 30 minutes. The stuffed waffle was good, as was the iced chai tea. My daughters enjoyed their espresso martini, chicken sandwich, strawberry matcha, and stuffed french toast. I didn't particularly care for the QR code/ ordering at the table and not being able to speak with a waiter/waitress directly-as this was my first time here and I was not told when seated to order myself and pay with my phone. I was also unaware that this establishment was cashless. I would have liked for that to be posted somewhere.

“Happy to never return.” Menu options are very clearly curated for an expensive time out but sometimes this can be looked past for an excellent experience. However, given the price point for brunch here, nothing ordered had flavor or “wowed” any of us— even the drinks. It was as if someone had put together a restaurant with intention and didn’t follow up on their product. The last bit of irony is that this restaurant seems like it would at least be very “instagramable,” yet, the lighting for photographs was mediocre at best.

3.5 While something holds back a 4 star, I encourage coffee and boutique lovers to try this place out. I had a latte, which was good. I love the little outdoor seating with suspension benches. The location is the knock. It's very challenging to get in or out of depending on traffic and it's so loud outside, it's hard to have conversation, but there's plenty inside and that should not stop you from trying it out. I'd go again.

Honey lavender latte very tasty. Egg scramble is savory. Ambiance reminds me for a French pattiserie. Food was tasty and I would recommend.

I visited The Scene and unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. The place looks nice and the drinks were good, but that's where the positives end. The food was just okay and definitely overpriced for what you get — and I mean seriously overpriced. The service was a major letdown. It’s one of those places where you scan a QR code to order at the table, and while that might seem modern, it really takes away from the dining experience. Even worse, my drink arrived after my food — I was halfway through my meal before I got it. That's just not acceptable. To top it off, my ham and swiss croissant was undercooked and tasted off. The staff didn’t seem particularly attentive or helpful either. Overall, this place is all style, no substance. I don’t recommend it and won’t be going back. Two star just because of the atmosphere. Overpriced, overpriced, overpriced.

I had the turkey paining which was wonderful, and the apple butter chai was incredible! The menu selections were great, the staff was helpful and friendly! Plenty of inside and outside seating, and the environment is great!

East Greenbush location (next to Walmart). STAY AWAY!!! Food had foreign substances in it (see pics). There were gelatinous white chunks in the soup. Very unsettling to my wife as she only discovered when she was halfway through eating. I tried to work with Panera to understand what was in the soup and they were rude and dismissive. I was especially concerned because my wife has allergies. When I told the supervisor (Tessa) my wife could have died, her exact response “I do not care.” Uncommon Grounds will be opening in East Greenbush soon. They have higher standards, better services, and higher quality food. I hope they put the East Greenbush Panera location out of business. Terrible service, way overpriced, and tainted food! Trust me, there are way better options in the area, don’t waste your money on this garbage!

I normally go here and have no issue but I'm pretty worried for one of the workers. I was picking up my brother's food and noticed they gave him the wrong cup. I went up to the counter and said "excuse me, I ordered a large." I was about to show her the receipt so she didn't think I was trying to get more than I paid for, but she interrupted me with psychobabble. She mocked the way I asked for the cup, said "okay" while hyperventilating and then dismissed me sarcastically. I almost asked her if she forgot to take her medication that morning. I was really confused because I just asked for what I ordered. I said "I'm sorry, did I insult you?" She said "Yeah you were really condescending actually." I've worked in the restaurant industry for many years and I take notice of how I treat service workers, so again the response I received was super unnecessary. I apologized and told her she should reconsider working in public. I'm just concerned for this girl and hopefully she stops tweaking out on random customers soon.

This is really a great place to eat. Especially if you have the money. It is a bit expensive for my liking. But, the food is delicious. Definitely, a thumbs up.

We came here because they had some veggie option. we tried the grilled veggie sandwich. It was very good and would eat it again. The Broccoli mac and cheese was the best mac and cheese we ever had, so good. The coffee wasn't that great, but we would definitely come back here for the sandwich.

Mediocre at best. Two stars because the time I was given when I placed the order was accurate. Nothing like it was years ago. Grilled cheese was soggy. They used to give crispy chunks of bread with your order, now you just get a third of a soft gross breadstick. I wish they still melted the cheese on the French onion soup. I had gotten a small container of shredded cheese which didn't melt whatsoever. Overall opinion they are quick, but the quality of food has gone downhill in the past few years.

Overall Panera is a consistent and fairly decent chain. However the Rensselaer store is one I would highly recommend avoiding. over the past year, I don't think I have going in once and gotten what I have ordered. Today alone I am eating a salad that has been made for the second time grossly incorrectly. I finally just decided to pick out everything I was allergic to and eat it and leave. This has been pretty regular in the past year or so here. It's also not uncommon to see staff argue with each other. My recommendation is drive down the road another fifteen minutes and eat at the Troy location- it's better run and you get what you order. UPDATE 2/28- Today had to be here due to work schedule. Ordered Caesar salad- no croutons, add frizzled onions, cucumber, avocado, napa cabbage. WHat I received: Lettuce, 2 pieces of avocado, 4 cucumber bits, no onions, no cabbage, ONE CUP of sliced apples on salad. MMMM...Caesar dressing on apples! Uploaded a pic of all i picked off, and the sad salad i was left with. Management does not care, there is no quality control. Would give zero stars if I could.

Great place for a tasty meal. My favorite is the pick 2 with tomato soup and spicy Thai salad. Nice size portion leaves you satisfied. Great assortment of bread and sweets.

Stacks Espresso Bar is a fantastic coffee spot in downtown Albany. I ordered my usual cortado, and it was excellent — smooth, well-balanced, and flavorful. One standout detail: they serve the cortado with a glass of water, which is a practice I wish more coffee shops would adopt. The presentation was thoughtful, the service was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. Plus, the downtown location makes it a great stop whether you’re passing through or exploring the area. Definitely a place I’d be happy to return to!

I hear it has good coffee. The service is painfully slow, the staff is rather nonchalant about the customers' being helped. The majority of the staff is much more interested in the talking with each other than making sure customers are taken care of. The music volume (which is at a comfortable volume) does make it all but impossible to hear your beverage being whispered as ready. This announcement occurs one time so you better be paying attention.

Sadly, Stacks isn’t recommendable. Despite today’s unforeseen early closing, they still accommodated us, but the coffee was my least favorite in a long time. I use Maps while traveling and thought this would be a good stop.

If the service was better this cafe would be perfect. The girl in the cashier was very rude, almost as she was annoyed we were buying food there. This definitely ruined it for me, it made me feel very uncomfortable. The coffee was great and the food too, but the service (and therefore the atmosphere) for me was not the best.

I've been a regular here for a while and used to really love it, especially when Sophie and Ivy were working — the coffee was consistently great. Lately, the quality has been hit or miss. Maybe the current team is still in training, but I do miss the consistency and service from the original staff.

The staff is friendly, the vibe is nice, I go for an Americano or cold brew. They’ve got a good variety of bagels, and the portions are decent for the price. It’s a spot that young people and locals love. Their other locations are great too, and they roast their own coffee.

Incredible sandwiches and beverages. Met a friend from Albany there (just off I-90). Partner had a delicious iced Chai, same for my iced Dubai Chocolate Latte (w/ hint of pistachio). Great local coffee shop!

This is the best coffee/brunch spot around!! I usually get a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel. Uncommon has by far the best bagels in town, they’re so big and fluffy, and they have so many flavors to choose from. Everything is priced pretty cheap too. A BEC is about $6 which is unheard of in 2025. Workers are nice and there’s plenty of seating inside to dine in. If you have never been here, you have to give them a try. I come here all the time! 11/10.

I’ve been to one of their other locations before so I knew what to expect. Parking was easy and the wait at the counter was short as they are super efficient. I ordered a pumpkin dirty chai and it came out within 2 minutes and was super tasty. Definitely recommend!

This place is incredible. It is family run and everything is homemade. It was all so absolutely delicous. Every French fry was crispy and perfect. The woman handed me a hot falafel ball to nosh on as she was making our wraps. So sweet! The fafafel balls are made from scratch to order. The man gave us free soup. Very affordable prices. This place is fantastic. Hot soup, fresh falafel, the best french fries. Ma and pa run and owned. Everything they serve up has so much love, you can taste it! Been back several times and will be back again. Slightly weird location in the back of a big cooperate bank / office building but easy, free parking in the back (where Bon Appetit can be found)! This is a hidden gem, nestled inside what is clearly an office building you would usually visit to see a dentist or an insurance company. There, tucked into a space that was probably once a gift shop, is a delightfully cozy and eclectic grill run by a kind couple. The falafels are the size of cake donuts. The gyros are delicious, with fresh tzatziki sauce, fresh made hummus, great veggies. The baklava came in paired triangles of heaven. Hand-cut french fries, regular specials, and very reasonable prices make the brief wait absolutely worthwhile. Sure, there's no real sign outside. Sure, parking is a huge rando lot, and you almost feel like you are plunging into a 90s corporate labyrinth as you walk into the building. If you show up at noon, rather than 11, you are going to stand there, waiting with the rest of the building's lunch rush, contemplating "why there is a statuette of Horus next to a statuette of Mary?" You are going to forget all of that as you luxuriate in the flavors of those fries, as you savor that baklava, as you tuck into that gyro. You're going to instead ask why you never came here before and when are you coming back.

Love the cozy environment and loving hospitality. Definitely come again. Prices are very reasonable but freshness and taste is not compromised.

Great little hidden gem that is well worth a visit. This cafe is in an office building. It's at the far end of the first floor when coming in from Wolf Road. The could who run it could not be more friendly. The falafel and sampler platter are delicious. They have great great leaves - both veggie and meat varieties. The falafel are always made fresh by hand and are truely unique. They also have more traditional lunch foods and serve breakfast. Didn't miss the baklava. They also do catering. They have a little place to sit across from the cafe. Great value!

I’m from NYC and was craving a BEC on a bagel with a hash brown. They made it even better than the deli’s downstate. It was delicious and the bagel was so fresh! Service was sweet as pie.

I was Surprisingly, please to have arrived at city line cafe. The vibe was definitely farmed to the table, and the atmosphere was very comforting. It's a great local mom and pop shop. And I couldn't be more happy with the food it was so fresh, made right there in front of me. I'm very fast as well. It's just not very good. The food is plain and low-quality. The pasta seems like it's been left out. The desserts tasted store bought. The bread was clearly crappy and reheated. The wine wasn't even good. It's just not good food, particularly considering how expensive it is. I was disappointed. The service was good. Sorry to the staff for the poor review.

Atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. The decor and chandeliers are gorgeous. The wine was fantastic and the food was incredible. The best vodka sauce I've ever had! Everything right down to the salad and bread was fantastic! Will absolutely be back!

Well, first time ordering here, I ask for my burger to be medium rare, it’s completely cooked through. Also but into a lovely surprise. A twisty tie. I was about to be fine about the twisty tie, but then the burger being cooked the way I wanted, really upsetting.

Rudy's has an old world Italian aesthetic, wonderful and inviting staff, decent food (try the Veal Sorrentino), and enough space to enjoy a meal with the whole family! This would make a great place to host a reception or other event, with plenty of space for dancing, as well as a well stocked bar separate from the main dining area.

Came to this restaurant with high hopes based on the reviews. I received my food & it was raw & I felt extremely sick after one bite. I asked the waitress is there any way I can have this removed from the bill because I did not like the food. She stated that since there was nothing wrong with it I could not & I couldn’t swap it for anything else on the menu. I politely asked for a Manager. The manager came & was upset that the fact that I even asked to have it taken off the check. She did remove it but charged me for a salad that came with the meal.. I paid it just so I could leave the restaurant. I will never come back here again. If I could give zero stars I would. Poor customer service

I've been trying to order from them for weeks and my order has been canceled every time. I like their food but am confused as to why they are on any of the delivery apps if they are not actually open for delivery. I tried again at 9 AM today, hours they are open, listed on the app and their own website. The app said you were open and accepting orders. 15 minutes later my order was canceled and it states you are closed and not open again till tomorrow (close at 8pm according to their page today). It seems there is some small arbitrary every changing window of time, today only 30 minutes, that they actually accept the orders if you're lucky. I have tried different times each time, even right as it opens and says they are taking orders to have it be canceled and see immediately they have turned off ordering. Beware if using grubhub for a delivery through them.

After my grandmother’s blood work appointment at Saint Peter’s, we went to Mimi’s Cafe for lunch. I had a chicken salad sandwich, and the flavor was so exquisite; every bite was indulging! I’m looking forward to going back!

Me and my friend visited on a cold Sunday but we enjoyed our time here. We both got non dairy specialty lattes called the Bella saffron and we liked the herbal spice take on. The late. They were steamed well . Just make sure you specific if you’d like yours strained or not, I kinda like have cardamom to chew to drink my drink slower While my friend got it strained. Great service to the young lady at the register who also did our drinks. The space was clean and not crowded. Kinda jealous of the student here .

The lamb stuffed pita is absolutely incredible!! I could eat 50 of these macaroons, thank you! Everything is packaged well, consistent, fresh, and always delicious. Their coffee and afghan tea is spot on, the smoothies are always fresh and consistent. I have yet to try the soup but I hear it’s phenomenal hehe. Also, where can you get a quality breakfast sammmitch for 5 bucks? Here. UPDATE: Customer service is non existent and the orders are constantly incorrect. Too bad because I did like that pita!

An adorable little cafe located in the Maria College but open to the public. They have breakfast sandwiches, bagels with cream cheese, lunch foods, a respectable number of espresso beverages as well as teas and juices.

The bagels were ok but nothing to write home about. My hot chocolate was watery. The chocolate chip cookie was really good though. Also, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. The lack of online ordering is frustrating and baffling given that many of their customers are government workers who have limited time to eat lunch. I want to spend my lunch break enjoying my food, not waiting in a long line.

Food is good, staff is nice, but the place is noisy, slow, and the layout is bafflingly awful. There's a headache-inducingly loud speaker right next to the register. The people ordering and picking up are constantly in each other's way, and from the outside it certainly looks like the staff also doesn't have any room to manuver. I think the biggest problem is there's a dozen counter seats no-one can use eating up half the floor space, next to a large cafeteria.

Food is great the bagels taste like bagels and not oily bread. The coffee is amazing and fair trade which is nice. The service was okay - the floor was messy and tables were sticky. The food and coffee to go is perfect.

I ordered a chicken salad bagel with a Caesar salad, but when I got to my hotel and opened it, I was very disappointed. The bagel only had about 4–5 small cubes of chicken with some tomatoes and lettuce. It wasn’t what I expected at all and left me very dissatisfied. MUST CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU TAKE OFF.

Wow this was a *great* hospital cafe ! They had fresh made Indian food, sushi and poke bowls as well as a fresh salad station and grill ! Definitely lives up to the healthy choices you would want at a health institution. Loves the vegetable curry and chicken tandoori!

Got a Buffalo chicken wrap after an appointment and the nice women working toasted it for me. I can honestly say it's the best buffalo chicken wrap I've had. Delicious!

Absolutely no accommodations for people with shellfish allergies. Storing shrimp directly next to all other foods in the Tavolino "fresh Italian fare" line. I was told "sorry, I can't serve you." I didn't want the other choices of food such as salads, pizza, grill. I wanted Italian chicken alfredo, but the shrimp was stored in such a way it was directly adjacent to mushrooms, the sauces, tomatoes, ALL of the ingredients. The irony of a cafe located in a hospital NOT to be accommodating to allergies, especially shellfish, is a bit concerning. Of all places, a hospital cafe SHOULD BE THE MOST AWARE AND ACCOMMODATING to people with allergies.

Excellent food; especially the salad bar and soups. Very, very reasonable prices too. A large salad, bowl of soup and medium drink was under $10. Large variety of items too. Best hospital cafe I've ever been to!

The folks there are very kind the food is reasonably priced for the value. I was able to get 2 egg sandwiches, 1 chicken gyro , 1 bag of chips and a cookie all for under 20$. They were very sociable aswell. Very nice spot for lunch.

Under the weather and need soup so i was able to search this place. The soup and sandwich combo is a good deal. Soup is delicious and the sandwich is great! Tasty and not dry. This was a nice place to stop off for lunch. We took home some rolls that were delicious and we stayed for lunch as well. The sandwich was alright but I think it just wasn't to my taste. The pasta salad was really good and also the tomato pesto soup. I'll definitely come back and try another order!

Sadly the sandwich I get every time I come has changed. The bread changes. Smaller and stale. Not like their old baguettes that were large and soft. Three slices of tomato and some mozzarella for $15. I paid $2 for prosciutto which they didn’t add which was a bummer. I did to go so I didn’t notice until I got to my office. Will not return. Honestly, it kind of bums me out seeing everyone flock to Uncommon Grounds next door for their puffy, average bagels while this place sits half-empty. So I’ve started coming back here more often. The food's very good—nothing fancy, but solid. Coffee is pretty good. My only real gripe is that sometimes the bread that comes with soup is too hard. Other than that, clean and friendly, no complaints.

Went to the bountiful bread location in Stuyvesant plaza just to get tomato soup for dinner. I showed up 20 minutes prior to closing and was told that the soup was put away for the night. I guess the full menu isn’t available if they are closing soon.

This diner has a large American food menu and there is something to please everyone. I had the chicken parmesan paninni and it was good. Their French fries are especially crispy golden brown.and delicious.

I had to remind the Male waiter that the OJ came with the meal. He never refilled my coffee; not even once. He did not even come back to drop off the bill. Hi, When I used to come here in the early 2000's it used to be the spot to go to especially after having a few drinks out. If I am not mistaken it's new ownership. This place sucks. I ordered the Fried fish sandwich, which was not a sandwich but a fried, dried out with no taste, piece of fish on a cheap dollar store hot dog roll. The menu said fish sandwich not fish on a roll. I asked for onion rings the waiter brought out fries. As a waitress especially if you count on tips you should make it your job to remember the order that way if there is no expeditor you can expedite and correct order before bringing out. The onion rings were ok, however my seltzer water with lemon was flat. The girl never came back to offer a refill and I had to ask another waiter to provide a refill. Shocking for a Saturday the place was empty and the vibe felt dull. Not the same place it used to be, my best friend's chicken wings were not fried correctly. The manager was nice he offered a discounted pay out which was nice. I was not going to give the waiter a tip, but, because I know how important it is, and me giving her the benefit of a doubt she is new, I decided to tip $8 anyway. Will never eat hear again. Better off going to Don & Paul's in Waterford where they remember your name, your favorite drink, and it's always crowded. Do better!!!!

I felt like I was visiting family it is spot where you can slow your,being in the moment and just be You can enjoy your meals and conversations without rush or overwhelmed by loud music,conversations from other tables. Whether are a family with small children or in your golden years.it is a comfortable save place to diner and enjoy good food and lively deserts.

While in Colonie, NY, we stopped at IHOP for a meal, and it was exactly what you’d expect—classic IHOP quality food. We ordered four dishes for four people, which turned out to be a bit excessive since their portions are quite large. We didn’t factor that in while ordering, so, as usual, we ended up taking leftovers home. The food was satisfying and just as we remembered from other IHOP visits. The washrooms were alright—functional but not the cleanest. Overall, it was a typical IHOP experience: generous portions, familiar flavors, and a reliable spot for a hearty meal.

This IHOP location is in serious need of attention. As soon as we walked in, we were overwhelmed by a strong smell of urine—completely unacceptable for any restaurant. We were seated directly next to the bathrooms and kitchen, where there was a constant flow of foot traffic, noise, and no sense of comfort. It felt more like sitting in a hallway than a dining area. We come from Suffolk County, Long Island, where the IHOP locations are clean, well-managed, and nothing like this. The difference in standards is extremely noticeable and disappointing. That said, our server was very nice and courteous, and the food was prepared correctly, which we appreciated. But unfortunately, those positives were overshadowed by the disturbing odor and poor layout. Corporate needs to intervene immediately to address the sanitation, environment, and overall guest experience. This location does not reflect the IHOP brand we know and trust.

I have visited IHOP many times over the years. It has been a long time. I would go for breakfast with my wife. The coffee is not bad. I used to get pancakes, sometimes with turkey sausage, and enjoyed .

Food was great as always but the atmosphere is very cluster floor some how always wet,sat on a table next to where the waitresses prepare coffee and what not, having the trash can next to where I sit turns me off a little I mean ihop location on wolf road need bigger space or renovation but the service it was lovely waitresses always have that smile. I walked in there I was seated right away which is nice. I ordered quick two egg breakfast with no meat over easy with white toast with peppers onions and mushroom added to the hash browns. The server bring me wheat toast which I sent back. Then when I tried to get her attention I look straight at her she looked straight at me and then turned away. The manager had to get her to look back at me in order to come back so I can ask for hot sauce. It's not very good service plus my mushrooms on my hash browns were not cooked they tasted straight out of a can and gave me a stomach ache. I would not suggest coming here. Because on top of all that when I went to go pay for my meal the server set her own tip and expected me to pay it which was $9. She did not even deserve that.

It is a very cutesy little coffee and bagel place with sweetest staff to help you. The service is fast and comes with a variety of options (veg and non-veg) to choose from. I went there two times and I always took the Toasted Everything Mediterranean sandwich which is exceptional. My partner tried Toasted Winner Winner Sandwich and appreciated the fresh sprouts within it. I also tried their drink of the month, Amaretto Latte which I would recommend. Did not become a fan of their chai though. But I would visit again to try different things from the menu.

I got a bagel Lox and cream cheese and I have to say it was really delicious. The bagel was extremely fresh like it was baked a few hours ago. They were very generous with the Lox as well. I really enjoyed the place overall. Definitely try their cold brew as well!

Had an opportunity to checkout Uncommon Grounds, felt the experience to be fairly average. I had the Mediterranean breakfast sandwich and a peanut butter chocolate cookie. The pros were the prices, really couldn’t complain about what you get for your money. The cons were that I felt like the food itself wasn’t great. Didn’t really impress me or disappoint me. However, the cookie was really bad. The staff also wasn’t able to give me further details on the product when I asked questions.

While the person who rang me up was amenable enough, upon my return to clarify, the rejoinder was had I ever had a latte before? In my 50 years on earth, why yes - even aside from Starbux & Paris, I was reared in an Italian community and frequented the No. End of Boston - have you ??? I actually went to a few of the Boston locations before relocating and whilst the overall experience was 'meh,' at Least my drink was palatable. Both the drink and the service were below both Minimal & subpar.

Classic all time favorite. We've found that Colonie diner is under new ownership. The breakfast was still awesome as was the excellent service. A little work on the building and parking lot would help make this establishment come back to life again. It is in a perfect location because of the constant traffic that goes by this business everyday.

Food and servers were great. The wait staff is attentive to special preparation of the order. We liked this place with the old management but the new staff is even better. We will be regular patrons.

It was just a very, mediocre experience. It felt like I was eating food that 12-year-old me used to make for breakfast. It’s not bad, but it’s nothing to get excited about. The service was fine, attentive and friendly staff. The atmosphere was just kind of… meh. Overly quiet with an emptiness to it. Fair prices, but you pay for what you get.

I can’t even discuss the sausage patty ( I asked the server to please take it off my plate because it was so disgusting to look at. A grizzly bit of Italian sausage smashed into a patty and served with breakfast). It looked well past its prime. All of that and all of the tiny bugs that kept biting me at the booth? I went to sit in the car meal untouched while my husband finished. Skeeve factor 10. My husband NEVER complains…..he complained. Do not recommend.

We had the opportunity/honor to visit the New York State in JUN_FY2024 and it was an amazing experience, a great opportunity to learn more about NY's history and legacy. We swing by at Colonie Diner, and for sure it's a remarkable place. Definitely, it's a place that deserves my respect. It was a privilege enjoy the amazing food and outstanding atmosphere.

This was the first time I tried this restaurant traveling out of town for work and I have to say I was extremely disappointed overall. I ordered eggs Benedict and the ham was overcooked the eggs were very slimy, the English muffin was all dried out and the sausage links were subpar at best. Definitely not worth the 23.00 dollars plus tip I spent!

Had to stand by the window for a couple of minutes and decided to go to where you order. to get the rest of my order. Was missing cup for hot tea and two cookies. The food portions were small . Chicken bacon ranch with extra chicken wondering where the extra chicken is. The soup was steaming but was luke warm. I don't know how or what magic was cast on the soup for that. And was lacking flavor. My girlfriend ordered Cobb salad with extra egg. There was no egg at all, and her soup was luke warm as well, so on a cold rainy day, we got luke warm soup and missing items. Only tasty items were the orange ginger tea and the frozen stawberry lemonade. The prices went up, and the service went downhill. Also, the cookie, well, it's a cookie

I recently visited the Panera Bread in Albany, NY, and had a mixed experience. I ordered two sandwiches—one for myself and one for a friend. I specifically requested my sandwich to be made with "no chicken, add lettuce" for a Chicken Chipotle Avocado sandwich. Unfortunately, when I took a bite, I realized it still had chicken in it. Since I can't eat chicken, I had to throw it away, which felt like a waste of money. That being said, I noticed that both the receipt and the bag did say "no chicken," so it seems like a simple miscommunication in the kitchen. The cashier, however, was really sweet and made the experience more pleasant. While I'm not upset about it, it was definitely disappointing given my dietary restrictions. I hope they can be a bit more careful with special orders in the future. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, just a bit frustrating. Still, I'll probably return, hoping for a better outcome next time!

I ordered the strawberry salad with no blue berries. Of course it had blue berries. The salad was suppose to come with a bread and it came with an apple. This order was to go so I did not know until I got home. If I had been allergic to the berries or the apple this could have been a real issue. I'm very disappointed

Trash. We used kiosk to put in our order, but there were no large drink cups anywhere. I stood at the register for at least 10 min within clear view of several employees, one of whom I believe was a manager, and not one person stopped to help me or even acknowledge me. My son finally found a large cup but there were no kids at all. No napkins in the dispenser. 2 of the drink dispensers were completely empty and 2 more were nearly empty. No plastic utensils to be found. Trash all around the floor.

ordered a sandwich(chipotle avocado melt), then the sandwich came with nothing on it that was suppose to be on it. even ordered a passion smoothie and it wasn’t even blended. probably because they are all teenagers! and i even saw one on their phone while making my food!

745 pm and the staff was closing up. Ordered a drink but everything was put away, ordered a brownie which was available online got there and no brownie instead of refund made us pick an item we didn't want. Side bread was no bigger than my fist and I am a petite female. My husbands sandwich had hardly anything on it and looked nothing like online, the Danish was stuck to the wrapper and bag. They never put it in a box. Staff didn't want to assist because they were busy closing ...which isn't until 9..mind you it was 745. Won't be going here again..guess another location will be the go to, at least they update what is sold out on the app. I will be telling everyone my experience.

Peaches (my server) IS AMAZING! She made sure we knew all the specials for the day. Helped us choose what to order. Food was FAST! It tasted so savory. I had catfish & grits. My friend raved over the sweet potato waffles. Don’t worry about parking. Parking on the street was abundant and only a 5 min walk. Booked your spot today!

Love Farmer Boy. Great diner in Colonie. Probably the best. Server was friendly and prompt. Coffee is good and so is the food. We only go for breakfast but they also have a little bar for people who want a cocktail. Worth checking it out. (Cupcake in photo is not from them)

We had Amanda as our server, she was excellent. Very friendly and prompt. She kept our drinks filled and our food was quick to come out. She had good suggestions also. We really loved the nachos appetizer and the French toast was nice and thick. We will definitely come back and we hope to have Amanda next time too.

We went for dinner. I ordered the roast turkey dinner which was delicious and came with a very generous portion of turkey mashed potatoes and gravy and homemade stuffing. My wife had a steak which was cooked to order and also delicious. For an app we each had the French onion soup which was tasty. Our server was very friendly and attentive to our needs. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who is looking for a delicious home cooked style meal and the prices were very reasonable.

Excellent and prompt service. Staff is SUPER friendly and nice. Always helpful when I don't know what I want. The Manager Chris is such a nice human being and is always willing to help out his fellow man. I stop in to get a burger and fries and am always pleased with the portion and flavor. Very Clean and calm atmosphere unless its very busy inside and even then its very comfortable.

So my experience, I went to get a bowl of soup and it was very cold outside very chilly. I said let me get a bowl of soup more myself up. I go through the drive-through got the soup. Everything was OK got home. My soup is full of just broth no carrots, a couple of noodles And I found two pieces of chicken. Bought a full size salad for $15.11 and I didn’t even get half. Didn’t even get half the ingredients that were supposed to be included so I’m not sure what happened but I’m extremely disappointed.

Bathrooms are terribly maintained smelling awful with soiled toilet seats. The food is well below panera standards prior to the menu change. Avoid this panera even though staff is friendly. They need a better menu and staff assigned to clean up duty of dining room must also do the same sweeps of the bathrooms to keep them fresh for customers. It is awful to think that staff preparing food would use those bathrooms too!

Our office orders Panera frequently, usually once a week. Twice in the last 3 weeks there have been items missing. The staff does not care. No apologies, no remorse for ruining someone’s lunch. They don’t offer to remake the items and get them delivered. Just a credit on your account IF you’re lucky. Last time we got a there’s nothing we can do. If you want your missing items you need to re-order and spend more money. The food is good the service is abysmal.

This Panera Bread location is great. The establishment is clean and tidy. The customer service is great. And the food is cooked fresh and timely. I purchased a large coffee and a brioche bacon egg over easy breakfast sandwich and they were delicious.

It was my first visit, it was raining. I missed the speaker to place my order along with a few others. It was confusing, once I got to the window the worker told me to hurry up and move because people are waiting for their orders. She also said drive back around and place an order. I decided to go into the restaurant and it was pure chaos. I waited for almost 2 minutes at the counter to place an order. Since I wasn't acknowledged we left and went to another location.

Placed a mobile order at 9:38. Arrived at 9:45. Employees had everything locked up and ignored my existence for 12 minutes until they smirked as I drove away. I genuinely don’t mind if they want to close early, just don’t waste my time by accepting an order.

From the time I pulled up at the drive-through, the customer service was awful. She handed me my change without even looking at me and dumped it in my hand and walked away. If the employees are not even going to act like they want to do their job maybe they shouldn’t be working there worst customer service I ever had at Dunkin’ Donuts. I asked her if she liked her job and she said whatever and Close the window.

We didn't even get service. We tried the drive through first, and got no response. So, we went in and got totally ignored by the people behind the counter. We stood there at the counter for a good five minutes and no one said anything to us, didn't even acknowledge our presence so we left.

Everyone is so nice EXCEPT this one shift leader!! I went on a Thursday morning around 11:30am and was told I had to relax by a rude white older SHIFT LEADER. she told me to relax when I was very calm then her coworker had to show her she was t wrong the whole time. I never leave reviews, but I’ve had it with one of these workers. I’ve had great experiences at this dunkin except for two times and it’s been with the same worker. She always has a bad attitude and was extremely rude to my friend. She was the “shift leader” and white and middle aged. She was all confused about my friends order and was trying to make it about my order which made no sense bc we ordered separate. Then she tried to say that my friend never paid and was trying to make her pay again when I literally watched my friend pay and she had the receipts on her phone. She told my friend to relax and said that she was giving her attitude when my friend was being extremely calm and composed and the worker was getting all worked up for no reason. Eventually another worker came to help us and proved immediately that my friend paid and the other worker was all upset about it bc it was literally all her fault. I’ve had other bad experiences with her attitude as well, and she really needs to find a new line of work that isn’t customer service. Other than her, it’s a very enjoyable dunkin and every time I’m there I’ve had a good time when I’m not dealing with her.

Ordered the chorizo egg specialty sandwich, regular latte and pistachio latte. The sandwich was pretty good but the lattes are really not good. The regular latte was milk with barely a hint of coffee so not sure it was made with espresso. The pistachio latte had a very strong flavored syrup flavor. Inside was very tight after ordering to get your drinks and food. There were some homeless people outside lurking around if you sat outside. Staff was nice. We came here because of all the good reviews but I think you can skip it if you have other options or coming from out of town.

Been coming here for years and it is definitely my favorite breakfast sandwich spot in Albany. Great food and great coffee. The Eggs Diamond sandwich (egg, Capicola, Egg plant, Garlic Mayo, Provolone) is my go to and it tastes the same every time I order it. Flavors are always consistent. Highly recommend for a quick breakfast sandwich and a coffee or lunch. Edit: Their smoothies are top tier!

The oldest coffee shop in Albany (to the best of knowledge) and you can tell in a good throwback sort of way. Not only was this place sweet, the food and drinks were too! Met the owner-- couldn't be a nicer man- loved that he is the owner since they opened. This place has delicious food and very fair pricing. My family and I love going here. I felt the need to make this post because of this one waitress with strawberry/blondish hair usually in a ponytail and glasses. For some reason whenever we are there and have her as our server, she is rude, inpatient, and has the attitude that you are bothering her. Went there for lunch today and she was out assigned server. She ignored us completely to the point where another waitress noticed and offered to take our drink orders while we waited. Our waitress continued to serve those around us, not even making eye contact with us. People that were seated after us already had their food orders in and we hadn't even ordered drinks yet. It was really bizarre and I have never seen anything like it. The other waitress eventually just took over for us and was wonderful. She did not have to add another table to her service but she did to help us out. Overall, this place is lovely and I highly recommend it. I'm just not sure about that one server and how she can be allowed to ignore an entire table on her section.

Stopped here for lunch today with some good old friends from out of town. What a great spot conveniently located right on Western Ave. This diner is full of charm and superior customer service. I saw how attentive staff were to their customers. Our waitress went out of her way to check on us several times and to refill my water. Food came out super fast and hot. It was delicious and well prepared. I love the atmosphere and they've earned a new regular in me.

I had a turkey club and fries. A diet and a cup of decaf. All was good. The waitress was very friendly and upbeat. She was attentive and had a large group to take care of. I have not visited in a long time and the staff was very nice .

This place is a gem. Unlike the overrated shiny place down the street, this one has really great food, excellent service, and it's not overcrowded on weekends. Our favorite are the blueberry pancakes - fantastic.

My mom and her friends eat here often. She will usually get me a burger or pancakes. And they are usually really good. I just sat down to eat, and I was disappointed. She wasted money and I have to figure out what I will eat for dinner, because I will not be eating burnt pancakes.

The atmosphere is the nicest around here but the food has gone downhill since the last few times I've eaten here. I think the worst part is that this place not only falsely labels Arab food as Israeli, but also butchers those very simple Arab salads and ingredients. I don't want to support the erasure of Arab culture. To people considering this cafe, please just go to one of the nearby delis, cafes, or Middle Eastern restaurants. The food and service are way better and cheaper at those spots.

They mislabel a lot of traditional Arab food as Israeli. I used to go here for breakfast all the time but the prices are too high and I don't feel comfortable enabling the appropriation of Arab cultures. I'll take my money somewhere else.

This place is very very mid. It survives because the area around one commerce plaza is a desert for food. They routinely get your order wrong, and the prices seem high for the area. I would only go there as a last resort if you work upstairs.

Went for lunch today, even though there was a lunch rush, my order only took about 5 min. I got the Supreme BLT and coleslaw. It was delicious!!! Coleslaw I think is made with apple cider vinegar, and was a nice tangy side for my sandwich. Will return!

We purchased 2 venti frappuccinos. For $16, I would like a full beverage. Both drinks were completely lacking. Absolutely ridiculous.

Kinda wish they acknowledged people. Been waiting for a long time for 2 coffees ordered online ahead of time, looked at the digital board which said my order was ready already. Then I was corrected! When I asked the employee if that order was ready she told me they it wasn’t started. The entire crew then stopped working to empty all the trash cans for 10 minutes. 24 minures late the same girl finally brought me my two iced coffees and snapped at me. “Well it’s right there you can take it whenever you’re ready!”. I wish I had given her the attitude she deserved for sure. I was way too nice.

First time I thought it was a fluke that my drink was watered down. I explained nicely to the barista and asked if she could remake it. Surprisingly was given attitude but it was remade. So today I had the same inconsistency with the drink being watered down. Instead of making a stink of it I decided to go down the road to the Price Chopper SB to grab another one and surprise surprise the drink was consistent as every other SB in the Cap Region. Not sure if it's a training thing or they are being told to water the drink down, but for almost $7 a drink we should have consistency.

So I walk in and walk up to the register and was greeted pleasantly by an employee, quickly takes my order (grande iced coffee black for Dennis ).There’s several people waiting for their orders, I’m waiting patiently for my order when the barista calls out a cup of ice for Denise. I wait a couple minutes thinking maybe that’s for someone else but no, moving on to other orders. So I politely walk up and ask about the cup of ice and it was like I’m speaking a foreign language. Obviously the order was keyed wrong then another worker accosted me and acted like I was in the wrong , angrily and sloppily pours my coffee and angrily slides the coffee across the counter (if I hadn’t had great hands it would have been on the floor. The customer service and competence at this location was the worst I’ve ever seen.

Our drinks were fine but took forever. People who ordered after me were getting their orders first so not sure what the problem was, as mine wasn't a complicated order at all.

We were there April 13/2025 at 5:40 pm, all we ordered was a piece of banana bread and regular coffee 2 creams. Because of we are from Canada and not a local people, very rude girl make us wait 25 minutes, 5 people behind us ordered any kind of fancy drinks, she served them all, when I ask what happened my coffee, she said you had to wait, when I ask I am sorry but what I am waiting for, a simple coffee? She answers me back even more rude hey I am working on it. Number one this is a Starbucks, is not her father`s corner coffee store, number 2, there is some other worker there how come no one say something to her, the way she is treating us like this, number three, if they don't like outsiders next time put the sign, FOR LOCAL PEOPLE ONLY, after paying 8 some dollars for coffee and a piece of banana bread, I don't take some RACIST ACTS, from teenager girl. Ryan IS quality. I went on 9/19/25 at 1030ish in the morning. Ordered on app, it's packed. There were roughly 10 employees behind the counter. The scene looked at little chaotic, EXCEPT for Ryan. Bro is calm, cool, collected working the machine like his hands have hands and his fingers have fingers. Unfortunately, he was not the first one to make my Americano. I took a sip and it was delicious, don't get me wrong, but I had ordered it hot and it came in a hot cup but was cold. Not just look warm, it was like it was made iced and someone realized their mistake and just poured it into a hot cup. I HATE being that guy who returns food or beverages especially when I just watched two other customers do it and watched Ryan handle it with the dignity and respect of Gatsby himself. So I just figured I would ask this gentleman if I could get it steamed. He takes a look at it and says nah, I'm going to remake this drink too because steaming it is not going to give the quality it deserves for the customer. This guy. This mint of a man went above and beyond to ensure quality, and customer experience was not remotely sacrificed. And he did it not by degrading anyone around him, but instead he carefully and thoughtfully reminded some to keep an eye on the quality of drinks as they are made demonstrating great leadership. Thank you for caring and being a good human being Ryan.

Review as a delivery driver. I can't count how many times I come to pick up an order here and it apparently had already been picked up. If this is such a common issue, the store probably should reach out and get it fixed. Outside of that you'll find yourself waiting 5 to 10 minutes just to get acknowledged by the workers.

I typically like this Starbucks however recently they have not been completing my mobile orders correctly. They have made iced when I ordered hot. They don’t add the whip cream or drizzle I added. It is frustrating because I pay for the add on that I don’t receive.

I stopped into Starbucks at the Hilton on New Scotland Ave in Albany to get my father coffee beans for his birthday. I was met with an inviting and clean atmosphere and the most friendly and knowledgeable manager. Mustafa helped me pick out the best coffee based on my father’s taste in coffee. He listened and offered advice. Best experience in a Starbucks so far!

I wanted a tic toc made you do it drink they was so Patient and waited for me to find the correct ingredients so the can mail the drink for me I never got their name but who ever the two that work at 430pm on 6/23 the nailed and greet customer service.

Oh Starbucks and your seasonal/holiday drinks. While I am certainly impressed year after year by the concoctions that you come up with, especially for the fall, sometimes they fall short. Case in point is this falls Iced Apple Crisp Macchiato. I ordered it using my stars, so I got it for free. And thanks heavens inside. While these fancier drinks don't usually disappoint, I will not be ordering this again.

I drive through here five days a week to get my coffee and sometimes breakfast. All of the staff at the drive-through window are so sweet, very kind and very efficient. They have never ever gotten my order wrong. I used to go to the Dunkin’ Donuts in Clifton Park and it was terrible there so I love the colony location.@ and only come here on my way to work now! Great job to the management on hiring wonderful staff.

I made a mobile order. Paid online. The location had 30 minutes to close so I thought I may have a chance to grab something since online it showed open. The worker hid when he saw me pull in (seen this plenty before) because no one answered at the speaker and when I pulled around there seemed to be no one inside. By now I had already paid online. I waited where my vehicle couldn’t be seen easily and the guy reappeared. When I drove back around he signaled his hand at his throat implying they are closed, but I wanted to know what to do to request the refund. He told me he couldn’t hear me. He was far from the window, had headphones in and made no attempt to come closer. A few times of going back and forth this way I got upset and shouted what was his problem.. I just wanted a clear answer and he just wanted me to leave so he kept repeating they are closed and put his head down. I asked for his name and he mumbled his name then said to speak to his manager if I had a problem.. very unprofessional. I emailed customer service and I am constantly told the store will reach out. No one did. No one has refunded me. Now my emails are being neglected it seems. I reached out to them on 11/28/24. Writing a review in hopes to be acknowledged and not neglected..

She messed up my order, so i came back right away, and she was claiming that i am the one who's making mistake, then she replaced what she gave me wrong and dismissed me rudely. Didn't let me even finish what i was saying even though i was talking to her politely and there was no one in the queue.

9/3/25 the guy making the bagels, you put very little cream cheese on the bagel, come on man ?!!! when a bagel is ordered with cream cheese you want to taste of cream cheese not just the bagel. Ordered sourdough breakfast sandwich at 6 PM. These guys know how to put a sandwich together absolutely perfect. Ordered it with extra bacon, hot and toasted, superbly put together sandwich.

Please be kind and tell me that the donut is ordered was not unavailable. I paid 1.99 for donut and didn't receive. Drove all the way back to tell them ugh. I won't return.

Always check your order when leaving this Dunkin. Chances are it will not be correct.

My favorite Panera in Albany (also I’d rather go here than to the Albany med Starbucks) very peaceful Soothing music always playing and the employees are always happy to help with anything. Definitely recommend if you want breakfast or would like to complete work while getting a quick bite / snack

The gentleman this evening, checking me out informed me that there was no bread for soup that my daughter wanted. He suggested that we take a bagel and slice it in the slicer so it’s finally sliced so she can eat it with the soup. My daughter is sick right now congested not feeling well and for him to go over and beyond was amazing. when I told my daughter about this, she automatically took the bread, dipped it in the soup and said it Tasted better than the baguette that is given. Number one maybe Panera Gives an option of taking a bagel and cutting it down with the different flavors they have and adding it to the soup On the side.number two. Make sure this gentleman knows he made my daughter’s Day my day and let him keep being a salesman. I don’t know his name. I wish I did and I should’ve asked, but he did an amazing job today for me. Thank you for having a raise of sunshine in front of me because I have been having it rough with things personally that I’m dealing with he opened my eyes and my heart wider.

Now, if you like being insulted and mocked, then that's the place to be. I had a really terrible experience at the kingston location. Please don't waste your time and money there. The manager Jorge Hernandez was rude and disrespectful to me and my son. He refused to give me my credit card after they took it off our table. We went to use the bathroom and when we returned my belongings were removed from the table. I went up to the register and asked is someone picked it up by mistake. I was insulted by the cashier who said that they are not responsible for anything. He then said they have my credit card but won't give it to me because I need to provide my ID. I explained that my ID was in my car which we had dropped off for service. I said we just ordered the food and I showed the receipt (we hadn't even eaten yet). He refused, the manager came and also refused, said it's company policy. I said, we just left to use the bathroom and they took the credit card off the table. Long story short, I had to go and get my ID and return. After the ordeal. The manager said "That wasn't so hard was it." Very disrespectful 😒

This location is horrible. The staff is all sitting at tables eating and being loud. We had a party of 3, traveling on a business trip, waiting at the counter and had to go to the table of employees and ask for help. They seemed annoyed to help us. We ended up ordering on the kiosk, while doing so there was a staff member standing on a table chair "surfing." Then, the staff were swearing and laughing and carrying on throughout the dining area. There were several dirty tables with dishes. This was a highly unprofessional location with horrible staff. It seems this location needs checked on as it does not meet the brand standards of other Panera Bread locations.

I typically never order breakfast for DoorDash but I did and was disappointed as I got a size small smoothie and a half a sandwich and it was nearly $30 way overpriced and sandwiches average at best won’t be my choice for breakfast that’s for sure

Employees are completely out of control here, swearing, surfing on tables while there is no help to order food, tables are filthy and at least 6 employees are eating together and laughing out loud while everyone waits for help. Not up to brand standards. Stay away from this location if you want service

Terrible experience today, we asked for an Americano a standard coffee drink, and were met with confusion and mockery by a red-haired staff member who literally said, “What the hell is an Americano?” Instead of simply checking the menu or asking a coworker, she made us feel uncomfortable and stupid for even asking. On top of that, staff were loudly arguing behind the counter. We left within five minutes. Completely unprofessional and disappointing service

Best Bagels in Capital Region, the price is perfect for the Dozen Bagel bundle, bagels and a choice of cream cheese. The quality is UNMATCHED in the area. The only downer is there are far less locations then ten years ago. Their used to be locations in more towns and cities, so this location is pretty much the best in the capital region. Their bagels taste like bagels and have NO aftertaste they are all delicious the cream cheese is amazing the coffee is okay. It is now my main bagel place.

Dining room needs a deep clean. Broken chairs. Dirty window sills. Large amount of dark organic growth and dust on HVAC ducts, returns and ceiling tiles above the food prep area. Baseboards are falling apart too. Staff who were expediting were friendly and efficient.

2 for 2 fails at this location. I ordered 2 sandwiches and was charged appropriately for the extra meat and egg. Ham, egg, swiss. I waited for number on receipt to be called, never happened. After 5 people who came in after me picked up their orders, I went to cashier to inquire about my order. The maker said he already made them and they were picked up. Not by me, they were not. Then total confusion. Had to repeat what each sandwich was to have on it, and then again while they were actually making them. Seriously. Then one maker questioned the extra meat. I was charged extra for the extra meat, right on the receipt she was holding. I made a suggestion that they use the receipt number to announce the order completion and they said they do not do that, they call out the sandwich. Well, obviously more than one customer can order ham and swiss which is how they called it out. They did make my order to perfection after much delay.

I cannot believe how unfriendly and slow these employees are. Workers are extremely rude, woman with nose ring talking loudly about issues and snapping at people including workers and customers. Took 2 minutes to get food that was made wrong and burnt after ordering and clarifying at least 3 times. Somehow took 8 minutes to pay for it. A very painful experience especially with at least 7 people working. They serious need help in every way.

Received a survey and got 2 free bagels. Went to Wolf Road store and asked to have my free bagels toasted and with butter and jelly. Was told that my request was not in their business plan due to labor costs and when I asked if I could pay extra I was told no they don't do that. Well I now know where I will not be shopping for bagels moving forward. Have it their way or they won't serve you even when you are willing to pay the difference. Never again.

Only complaint is requested bagel to be toasted with my order but was not. Otherwise service was quick, food tasted great, and quality was well worth the price. Website is very detailed and easy to navigate for allergens and desired style of food.

Nothing like a garlic bagel w/veggie cream cheese. It's something about that combo for me. The bagels have that perfect crunch, not to mention a variety of cream cheese to choose from. Way back when they dulce de Leche cream cheese man was it good; they need to bring that back a least for the holiday. Stop by grab and grab you something.

BK have it your way (unless you want extra onion) they never put my extra onion when I pay for it each time.

Every Friday I used to go to Burger King and treat myself to an order of French toast sticks and hash browns. When I got to work( which I am a nurse ) I opened the hashbrowns and this is what I found( see images below ). When I called them to tell them that I found a bug in my food, they just kept saying that they don’t have a bug infestation. They didn’t apologize once, as they just keep insisting that they do not have a bug infestation. When I asked the manager if I could send her the images she sent back what do you want to send them to the landline? It was so unprofessional. Just a head up everyone , BURGER KING, HAVE IT YOUR WAY WITH A FRIED BUG!!

I went and ordered on the app and still had to go in and get my food. Then this? This is a large onion rings?!?!?

Burger was dry and off flavored, chicken sandwich was "ok". PennDOT been to a Burger King in over 10 years. Add you some in a pinch but seek another place if possible. Drive-thru was not too helpful when trying to ascertain which items qualified for their $5 (2 pick) or $7 (3 pick).

The Western & Fuller Burger King is the Best Burger King in the Albany area. Friendly and helpful customer service. Food has always been fresh for me.

The girl that was doing the food needs to be fired, talking back to her manager and messed up my food not once, but twice, gave an opportunity to get the mistake resolved just to get home and have the wrong stuff again, if she focused more on doing her job instead of talking back this wouldn’t of happened Manager was friendly and professional but I’m not driving back to have this fixed again

Ordered 40. Dollars worth of food and was horrified when we got home to eat we ended up with five orders of chicken nuggets and cheese bites with two little whopper Jr with cheese and to speak with anyone about this matter on the phone is impossible it automatically hangs up
