We went to La Boucha for Saturday brunch with family and had a lovely time. The restaurant is located in a nice area, offering a warm and welcoming vibe. The food was great, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The Avocado Toast and Nutella Crepe are highly recommended—both were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. It’s a great spot to relax and spend 1-2 hours enjoying quality time with loved ones. Whether you’re looking for a cozy brunch or a casual gathering, La Boucha is a wonderful choice for family outings. Highly recommended!

Came here with two friends for Sunday brunch. The host sat us at a table without a reservation as long as we stayed for only an hour because of upcoming reservations. The place is really cute but is small for seating. We ordered the zucchini pancakes (5 stars), the wild mushroom omelette (4stars), and the mushroom crepe (2.5 stars). We shared our plates and the zucchini pancakes were the absolute best!

We randomly picked the place and it was a very good decision. We shared the Spinach Quiche, and we had the Fruity Creep (banana and strawberry) with Nutella and the Wild Mushrooms Omelette. All these were really good options. Especially the quiche. The Latte was also really good. The service was fast and the waiter was very nice and friendly.i would definitely recommend coming for brunch.

Lovely spot, great host. The food however, was just alright. It was not bad but jot as good as we expected. We went here for brunch on Sunday Jan 1 and got a table immediately. We tried Brioche French Toast, Croissant French Toast, Croissant Egg & Cheese, and omelette. The croissant was chewy and didn’t seem fresh same with French toast , brioche was a little dry.

First impression, was delightfully surprised by the cleanliness in such a small, quaint little hole in the wall sort of place. There was a group waiting outside to be seated which was a good sign, because the weather wasn’t great. Who waits outside unless it’s good, right? The menu has lots of options, so whether you want a sweet breakfast or a more savory lunch, there’s something for everyone. Also noticed: the all gender restroom, which I always appreciate. After ordering drinks, we did wait a tad longer than I would have expected. While my first sip of my dirty chai with almond milk was satisfactory, and my boyfriend liked the look of his latte with frothy foam milk, a few sips later I came to the conclusion that my iced chai was severely watered down (assuming they pour warm espresso over ice, which is my ultimate pet peeve. It’s 2024 and planning ahead is doable. How are places still doing this? Make the espresso ahead of time and chill it…) Anyhow, the taste of my avocado toast and my boyfriend’s eggs Benedict was truly good. The poached eggs were cooked just right, bursting with their yolk the moment we sliced them open. But the potatoes (while cooked enough to bite into), weren’t seasoned like a downright delicious, greasy set of home fries — you know, the type you really want with your eggs, with just a little crisp and some cracked sea salt. I did appreciate the hot sauce they had on the table, in fact, it was the first hot sauce I’ve ever taken a liking too, but La Bouche didn’t make it, Cholula did. And speaking of which, La Bouche didn’t make any type of “sauce” to drizzle over the farm field greens that were strewn about over my avocado toast or collected in a sad little corner on the plate of my boyfriend’s egg Benedict. Not even EVOO? Come on, no one likes dry mixed greens straight of the box. This makes the dish look unfinished! We also got the zucchini pancakes which were delicious and probably the best item on the table. But then why don’t they put as much effort into their main dishes? These were more like a shareable side. I think the part of our visit that probably was most significant and led me to deduct a full star was the end, when we were asked if one of our places could be cleared that still contained an entire zucchini pancake on it. “No,” I said. “We’re not done.” As the bus boy reached for the plate. “No,” my boyfriend tried again. “We’re still working on it.” We took one to two more bites before another waitress walked over and simply said “let me clear your plates,” and proceeded to clear them before we could even utter a single word. There was still food on all of our plates at this point, to be clear. La Bouche? More like La Pouche You Out. Regardless, there aren’t many quick and clean, relatively yummy brunch spots in Hoboken as you’d think, so we’ll probably be back. But we probably won’t wait outside in the cold for a table. Sorry, I don’t beat around the Bouche.

The service was 10/10. We did not have reservations, and they set us at the bar. The food was delicious.  I ordered the omelet of the day with an additional croissant. We enjoyed the live music on Sunday. They were hosting a bday party, and the environment was very festive and friendly

I came here with a group of four on a Saturday morning for brunch. The ambience and the conversation was excellent but the food wasn't as tasty as we expected. We ordered three items, brioche french toast, fruity crepe, and the ham omelette. The brioche french toast was not soft and seemed dried out. The crepe was larger than we expected but the texture was very thin and fell apart which made it difficult to eat. Finally, the omelette was my favorite item on the menu and came with a large portion size. However nothing stood out in terms of flavor. While the location and ambience were great, we were disappointed overall with the food quality given the cost.

My wife and I dropped into this place for a quick bite and absolutely loved it here. The food was very delcious and the owners seem very friendly and know their regulars quite well. And they play some nice music! Will definitely visit again.

Cozy little place in my favourite city in the whole of USA - HOBOKEN!! I am happy to call myself a resident of HOBOKEN. Green Pear cafe is a special place. Met a lot of doggos walking around. The Iced Matcha Latte and the Egg Bacon sandwich were truly special. Its a good feeling to come here, sit outside after an early morning jog and to soak in the calming sunrays,

We stayed in Hoboken for a week and ate breakfast here 5 out of 7 mornings. The athlete burrito, blueberry waffles and the keen green smoothie are incredible. This place has the nicest staff as well. Food was absolutely delicious and has all day breakfast and lunch which is nice for when your craving breakfast foods. Served was so nice. Even though there was two people working good came out at a decent time, but would recommend getting takeout if you need to get somewhere in 30 minutes.

I’m so sad to be saying this because this was my favorite coffee shop in Hoboken. I have lived in Hoboken for four years and have come here weekly, but I recently had the worst experience. I brought some friends on 9/6 for my birthday and we sat down at around 11:15. Everything was fine until the time started passing, and still not food (it was 4 of us so I thought that was just why). Then it hit 12:00 and I was getting a little confused. Finally 2 of our orders were brought out, but when the third came out it was the wrong order. I explained that and the waiter acted as though I did order this meal. I said no I ordered an athletes burrito not a chicken avocado sandwich. So he then went back to fix it. After another 20 minutes mine and my remaining friend’s order came out. With the mix up and time it took I was expecting at least an apology and received none. Then another waiter came over to bring our check he said “don’t worry I’ll take the chicken sandwich off your bill” as if he was doing us a favor. I said well yes no one at this table ordered a chicken sandwich( I’m a vegetarian so I know I didn’t order that). And again he just starred at me, STILL no apology for anything. It took two hours for a simple breakfast and coffee and my friend missed her train home in the mix of it. I was so embarrassed and told them no to worry my birthday next year would be at somewhere else.

Came here randomly, but was pleasantly surprised. The food was great (my husband kept raving about his Chicken Avocado sandwich, and made sure I included it in this review, haha). The service was even better. Would recommend :)

Average at best. A small cozy coffee spot in Hoboken. I originally got the iced vanilla latte with the non fat milk and it tasted a bit funky (could’ve been a bad batch of milk), had to go back and the barista was kind enough to offer a replacement. Got the honey bee latte this time and it was quite mild. But anywho, all in all it’s a miss for me personally. Also got the rose donut and that was good.

A really nice café, with lots of options to choose from. I had my first bagel with cream cheese and salmon of this trip here, so maybe that’s why I remember it so fondly – but it really was very good. I also tried a pistachio and cardamom bun – also delicious. A small and cozy little spot. It was great!

Randomly stopped by the morning of Mon, Sept 8, 2025… the food was pretty great, I got the Salmon avocado toast, Chicken Tikka sandwich, Taro Latte, and Honey Lavender Latte. I would actually recommend all of them - the chicken sandwich is a bit spicy, so be careful, I recommend having it for lunch rather than breakfast like I did :) The only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is the woman (with glasses and darker hair) who was taking my order - she really seemed like she didn’t want to be there. I’ve worked at cafes before, so I get that you might not get great service all the time, but she didn’t smile once, didn’t say hi, nor did she say thank you. That was a bit of a downer Otherwise, I would recommend!

After finding this gem on Google reviews - we went out of our way to visit and we were hoping for a great coffee! Barista is probably in the wrong industry - 8am on a Saturday with no line, and we were abruptly told to order on the iPad because the barista couldn’t take our order while making other coffees. Fair enough, we ordered and with only four coffees before us waited almost 15mins for ours. Coffees were okay, not great. Tried some of the food options and the gulab donuts were unique and tasty, but heated and placed in a paper bag so the icing melted all over the bag with some left on the donut. Felt like no much love or effort was put in but will definitely visit again and trust this experience as a one-off bad day! Atmosphere and aesthetics are wonderful - lots of detail placed in the Indian/coffee theme and a great selection of goodies to take home too!

Fantastic, creative, delicious coffee. New Orleans brew is phenomenal. Highly recommend this place. They have oat/almond milk.

If I could rate this higher than 5 stars I would! We have been coming here for years and have tried just about every sandwich on the menu. The coffee is perfection (iced latte is my go to)! My personal favorite sandwich is the Savory Bagel sandwich, which has the most perfect combination of textures and unique flavors. The vibe of the cafe is cool, the music is great and the staff is even cooler! Highly recommend, can’t say enough about this hidden gem in Hoboken.

V good drip, strong and a bit acidic. Nice staff. Tiny space, music’s not too loud which is nice, only 2 small tables inside. Lacking gluten free or sugar free baked goods, but the homemade donuts look delicious.

I can’t say enough great things about this café! I’ve been coming here for years, but recently everything—from the food to the coffee to the overall atmosphere—has gotten even better. There’s nothing like walking in and being greeted by the smell of fresh coffee and warm croissants in the morning. The service (Sofia & her team!) is exceptional—so warm and welcoming. I’m completely hooked on their White Chocolate Mocha, and their updated menu is a must-try. My children are even addicted to their refresher drinks! Highly recommend!

I had the most pleasant new years coffee and brunch with my family at Cafe Esme! It's especially beautiful with the sunlight if you go late morning/early afternoon. Our veteran barista Brian (he said he's been in the field for close to a decade) was very sweet and kind, and was incredibly helpful in selecting the perfect first morning coffees of the year. I highly recommend the avocado toast and the salmon toast! they're very fresh and savory with generous amount of toppings (like super generous!). We had regular, almond, and chocolate croissants as well. They are beyond your average croissants-- super crunchy on the outside and chewy and stringy on the inside. Needless to say, all the coffee is just perfect. Foams for cortado and lattes are a chef's kiss. It's also right across Newport Center (we parked at the parking lot there for $4/3 hours) so bringing a car is also convenient. We'll be going there routinely now. Thanks Brian😊

I love the place. It's so aesthetic and beautiful inside. Brian especially is the best person you would ever have a conversation to because he is very bright, funny, outstanding, and very cool with anything and everything. Their food is awesome and tasty and their drinks are absolutely excellent and they vary in their coffee's. Brian can come out with milk tasting like fruit loops. I just honestly love this place, 10/10 would absolutely get this again.

Very fine coffe shop. Cafe Esme was a pleasant discovery for me. I had a regular latte and macaroons. I didn't know they serve rose and lavender lattes here. If I knew, I would've tried one of those. I guess next time then. When I ordered latte I was asked for size and whether I want dine in or take out, but I wasn't asked for a type of lattes (I didn't know that there is variety). I did like this place very much. Very adorable, cozy place. Clean. Lots of plants. I love plants. The owner lady herself was there rearranging the plants. There are only 2 tables with 4 chairs each and a couch only inside, but there are plenty of tables for dining outside which will be offered over weather gets warmer. There is a gender neutral bathroom. I believe they offer smoothies from fresh fruit. I will find the rest of the info next time I'm there. Highly recommend. I will be visiting again

One of the best cafes in the area. The staff here is really nice and helpful and is always looking forward to trying new combinations of flavors with your ordered drink. I ordered a matcha latte and asked to surprise me with one of their flavors, they gave me a Malibu matcha latte ( coconut plus something). It is the most unique matcha drink I have had so far and it tasted great. Also tried their bagel and almond croissant, both were nice.

This spot has everything I want in a cafe. Cool couches and seating areas both indoors and outdoors, great menu, delicious coffee and a nice staff. Their avocado toast is incredible and their other sandwiches are tasty too. Cafe Esme is in a great location and is situated by a dog park, which is a fun bonus for pupper lovers like me. This place is a must-see!

I happened upon Cafe Esme on a day when the weather outside was cold and windy. Inside, the cafe was warm and cozy and bright. I ordered a latte and a croissant. Latte was flavourful with perfect amount of foam on top. Croissant was buttery and delish! Loved the view and vibe of the cafe. Definitely coming back soon.

I am not sure about the good reviews on this place. First of all asked for lactose free milk and they only had almond available (this is quite poor variety as there are so many allergies these days, there should be more choices). This meant I couldn't order a coffee... Anyway I went ahead and ordered banana and chocolate pancakes. The waiter brought me strawberry and berries pancakes which I obviously hadn't ordered, he stated no bananas available, shouldn't have you told me prior to see if I wanted strawberries? (I hate strawberries but didn't wanna be rude and still took and tried the plate leaving strawberries on a side). The pancakes were just awful, tasted as if you had put them in a microwave, thick and oily, so ate 1 and tried the others to see if any good on the corners. Left 2/3 of it and told the waiter I was not happy as they were not good. His response was "OK"... And he still added a tip on top of the bill (not even had the option to choose). It's jokes. Avoid this place, pancakes not fresh at all, precooked and warmed up, disgusting. The passivity of the waiter was the worst bit... Couldn't be any more careless. You really need a client service course to do this job... $13.28 thrown to the bin.

I've been here twice this week and I can not say enough good words about it. I had the chicken and waffles and the donuts with Nutella. They were empty most of the time when they should be full all day every day. It's really a gem of a restaurant. Give it a try. ASAP.

This is a beautiful place to go on a date with your partner. The hostess are really sweet and cooperative and hold knowledge of the menu. I was suggested to buy the in house lemonades, tried the watermenlon lemonade with mint. Its a super refreshing drink with in house watermelon extract lemonade and Mint leaves. Also had fries which are homemade style with no preservatives/frozen contents.

This place is nice and cozy. The food is prepared well. But it is crazy expensive in my opinion. The waiter is attentive. You get to bring your own wine. It was not crowded at all for a Sunday night.

Ordered the pasta, had bits of plastic in it. The staff did not make a very strong effort to make things right, other than taking back the pasta and letting me order something else. I ended up ordering the calamari and the octopus appetizers, both of which were incredibly mediocre. Calamari was very greasy, and octopus was too salty. I would avoid this place.

Very nice place in the Heights. Brunch is definitely their thing. If you are in the area do not miss out on this place. Food is good, atmosphere is very nice and service is great: staff is very attentive and helpful. Freshly squeeze juices are really good!

Just had a Bronte sandwich and a cappuccino and it was delicious! Such a cute and authentic bakery and the lady that works there is so nice and friendly! I am definitelly coming back! Their Tuscan Menu is so fresh and if you like Italian food like focaccia, brioche, cantucci and more you will be impressed! I highly recommend this place!

inside this small store front is delectable homemade baguette's, pastries, many different focaccia sandwiches. Variety of coffee and teas. Palisade Ave and Bay Street in Jersey City also have locations as well. I've had the cream puff before and love the small size olive focaccia.

Go here if you want to find the best and authentic Italian food in Hoboken! Cantucci are addictive and all the types of focaccia are super yummy! It’s the best place to have a cappuccino and a brioche in the morning or a quick but delicious lunch in the afternoon. Staff is AMAZING!!!!!

I'm torn between three and four stars because on one hand, I feel like they totally jipped us on the pizza margherita foccacia, but on the other hand, their plain foccacia is totally worth it and really good. The pizza margherita caught my eye, and I saw a sign that said $2.90, so I thought why not? It's the perfect mid-afternoon snack. They were all already pre-cut, so one would assume that it would come out to $2.90, right? Wrong. I'm no mathemetician, but something just didn't add up if we paid $8 something for 2 plain foccacia squares (at $1.60 each) and one margherita. It turns out the guy counted the margherita as "two squares" so we actually ended up paying $5.80 a "square". It's just too bad we realized after we left the shop and already ate half the pizza. If I had known, I would have just gotten a slice of Benny Tudino's. But back to the plain foccacia. The two squares that we bought were enough to make a burger for two people for dinner one night, and two Italian sammies the next afternoon. I liked that it wasn't drenching in oil. That or maybe the paper bag soaked most of it up. Bottom line - stick to the plain foccacia, and you are good.

My experience here was overall good. The food was decent, though not particularly impressive. I tried the duck after seeing many recommendations, but it ended up being my least favorite dish as the sauce tasted a bit like herbal medicine and the meat was dry, though my boyfriend enjoyed the flavor. The other two dishes were nice. The real highlight was the atmosphere. Spacious with high ceilings, plenty of greenery, and a bright, airy feel as sunlight streamed through the glass. Worth a visit for the setting alone.

Classic French Brasserie Vibes in the Heart of NYC La Grande Boucherie captures the energy and charm of a Parisian brasserie right in New York City. Lovely service!!!! We came in as a party of 4 right before the restaurant opened and didn't have to wait. Coffee was excellent. My croissant was amazing - extremely flaky and buttery. Egg omelet was good but we could take a bit less goat cheese. Others in our table enjoyed their egg benedict. Service was excellent. Beautiful space!!! Highly recommend!!!!

Everything was exceptional, the warmth and care shown by the host team. Renata and Shumaya always giving us the best options to enjoy our girls night. The food was absolutely delicious, nothing I could beat anywhere else. Our server was Nikola and he always took care of us, present and providing options so we had the best experience. My wife and I made reservations for brunch celebrating 20 years together. We were seated quickly, the food was delicious and quick and the service was top notch. Namik recognized our anniversary from the reservation, spent some time with us after our meal chatting about the city and thanking us for dining with them. We had such a great experience!

This was my first time visiting New York and one of my first choices of food I chose to come and eat. I was hosted by Bench and Omar and I will say I was sincerely pleased at how much attention and care they had for each one of their customers. They were quick, friendly, attentive, and definitely made our whole experience here at the restaurant. The food here was like nothing I’ve ever tasted, props to the chef. I’ve never had a steak so flavorful and soft. Thank you La Grande Boucherie for this amazing experience.

It was my first time dining at a vegetarian restaurant, and I was truly impressed! The food was absolutely amazing — full of flavor and beautifully presented. My favorite dishes were the fried mushrooms, carbonara spaghetti, and for dessert, the pistachio brownies with pistachio ice cream — all so delicious! The staff were super friendly, and the drink I had was just as great. Such a memorable experience that changed the way I see vegetarian food. I’ll definitely be back!

I was really excited for this meal since the place is fully vegetarian/vegan, but I wasn’t too impressed even though the pancakes were pretty good. The interior could be nicer and cleaner since the table, seats, and floor were all kind of dirty, so I wasn’t able to fully enjoy my time.

This spot is definitely Instagram-worthy, and the plate presentation was amazing. I really enjoyed the hummus. However, the burger and pizza were a bit greasy, which was a letdown. It's a shame when the food at such a great-looking place doesn't quite meet the high expectations

I absolutely love The Butcher’s Daughter. It is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. I am very passionate about plant forward dishes made with Whole Foods and good for you ingredients. The Butcher’s Daughter makes food that is exploding with delicious, unique, and also classic flavors, while using only the highest quality of ingredients, and it shows. The food tastes amazing and makes you feel amazing. We got the Buckwheat Pancakes and they were truly the best pancakes I’ve ever had in my life. Flavor and texture were incredible and they were perfectly paired with fresh berries, coconut whip and real maple syrup. The Mediterranean bowl had an excellent green tahini sauce, and the pastry sampler allowed us to try 3 pasties for $10 and came with the most fresh jam! I love their fresh juices, especially the juice flight!!! They have an amazing cacao reishi mushroom elixer I love. Excellent kale Caesar! I want to try the whole menu. This time though the pancakes stole the show. SO GOOD!!!! Love this place so, so much. And the VIBES, immaculate!

We ordered our food at the smaller branch, and with the supervisor’s permission, we moved to the larger one next door. Unfortunately, the staff member with arms tattoos and cap at the big shop was extremely rude and spoke to us disrespectfully in front of everyone, even though we had permission to move. Very disappointing experience — such behavior is unacceptable and ruined what could have been a pleasant visit.

The food was amazing. I had the country breakfast. Only criticism I had to say is the impossible burger was dry. The kale was perfect! The buckwheat pancakes was good. Texture was great. They have to do a better job with the pizza. The crust was soggy but the taste was good. The vitality elixer was good with a nice ginger and lemon punch 🥊. Our waiter, Erick, was attentive, professional and great. The ambiance is beautiful. It was a great experience. Happy Father’s Day.

Looking for brunch? Two Hands is a solid spot! It’s a cute Australian cafe with a good variety of aesthetic food and drink options. I came with a friend at Wednesday afternoon, and got seated right away! We both agreed that the breakfast burrito was phenomenal, and the hash brown with the scrambled eggs was the highlight of the meal. I also really enjoyed the banana espresso martini! Definitely come check this place out if you want a cute brunch with friends!

The experience was ok overall. The muffuletta sandwich was good but the breakfast burrito was just okay. The pancakes were dry. The service was slow and they forgot to bring the pancakes, which I had to remind them twice. They took my napkin twice and did not bring me a new one until I asked them.

Am not sure why this place is famous and requires a no show fee for reservations. The menu and food both are average, decor is decent. Our group of 5 went at 2 pm for brunch. The wait time for food was long. Mid way they mentioned the sourdough for chicken sandwich is not available. The matcha latte powder was sub par. Finally did get the sandwich with sourdough but the bread slice was too thick and filling was dry, so couldn’t really savor the flavors. A very much average spot overall. A typical Manhattan hype.

The banana bread and the mushroom soba noodle bowl are to die for (highly recommend adding salmon to the bowl). servers are so kind and it’s a beautiful space. the portions are a good size for the price. drinks are good, i got the banana bread espresso martini, but the banana smoothie was the stand out drink.

I got the banana bread latte and the banana bread french toast. The french toast was a good balance of sweetness and a little saltiness. The mascarpone was very creamy, and together with the bread had a nice texture. I did not enjoy the latte I ordered as much but I thought it was an interesting concept.

I had marked this place on my next trip to NYC since my daughter loves a good burger. We walked in without a reservation on late Saturday afternoon and as expected the place was packed. The staff was super attentive and friendly as they seated us in a quick manner. Also a big thank you for accommodating and acknowledging my daughter’s special needs. The burger absolutely lived up to the hype! Would love to stop by again.

Always great food. Excellent ingredients and delicious combos. Waited 10 minutes for a table since we didn’t have a reservation on a Sunday morning. They have a small waiting area and the staff was great while we waited. Once we ordered our food came out very quickly. This place is always a sure bet to please.

My wife and I visited Citizens of Chelsea for the first time, and it won’t be our last. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was relaxed and welcoming—and a huge shoutout to our server, MIA, who made the experience even better. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We shared a few plates and loved every bite. The Classic Breakfast , the Banana Bread French Toast, and the Vegemite Flight: cheddar biscuit served three ways (with butter, cheese, and smashed avocado) was a clever and delicious twist. Great food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a standout brunch spot in Chelsea.

Went for brunch and we really liked it! We went on a Sunday and it was VERY crowded, had to wait for an hour for a table here. Food was good overall but very expensive for the plates of food, I don’t think the extra of avocado should cost 4.5$. Coffee is good and everything else is, but nothing really stood out for us. Would recommend getting the salmon eggs and sharing banana pancakes! Service was nice but some staff were a bit rude to us. Would return.

Booked brunch at 9 am and we got seated right away—no wait, which was awesome 🙌 The staff were super friendly 😊 The food was fantastic :) First off, the ingredients were so fresh and the sauce was insanely good. The meat was so tender—it had such a great texture. And the banana bread French toast! 🍌 I’d never tried it before, but this one is hands‑down the best French toast I’ve ever had 🥹 You’ve got to try it. The sweetness was just right—not too much :) just perfect🙌

Great little spot for breakfast. When we got there their Internet was down and they warned us right away and apologized because service might be slower than normal (it wasn't). Everyone was very nice and service was great. The food tasted good but wasn't at all hot or even warm, plus the coffee isn't great.

Our server, Mia, was amazing, charismatic, and incredibly kind which contributed to my experience being so positive. It’s easy to enjoy tasty food when everyone is in good spirits. That said, we ordered the granola bowl, cheddar biscuit breakfast sandwich, vegemite experience, banana bread french toast, and iced chai lattes. All to die for!!! Really solid breakfast option with some massive servings for both the pancake and French toast dishes. I tried the banana bread French toast which was deliciously rich but so decadent I could only eat one of the two French toast. Highly recommended and most couples or pairs could probably share a dish. Also their hot chocolate was sensational.

My partner and I came here for dinner last minute. It's a cute cozy venue. I'd go again but I couldn't quite give 5 stars simply due to service. I wish the waiter that initially greeted us actually said hello/greeted us. Instead he approached the table without saying anything and we were expected to jump right in to order. Something as simple as saying, "Hello there," can ease into the service. The food and drinks were very good. However, the drinks took quite a while to make their way to us and we ordered essentially classic margaritas. My partner opted not to get a second drink because it might have taken too long. As far as atmosphere is concerned, Fonda is very cute inside and the bathroom was very clean. Nice place.

For our food, I would give 6.5 For the service. I would give it a 7.5 for the atmosphere. I would give it a 6.5. I believe the tables were too close to each other. There was not enough space for the servers to walk through while serving. Besides that, the environment feels very welcoming. I wish that they didn't place the music so loudly.

The place is alright, purely talking about the food and the atmosphere. Its got a perfect atmosphere for a date night. Definitely get a reservation if you wanted to be seated at a reasonable time or risk standing around for over 20 minutes for a table. I got the Al pastor tacos. Meat was a little dry, pineapple was sparce and not very juicy. The hot sauce was very good and elevated the taco just enough to be a bit better than just good. The Hibiscus agua fresca was alright, not very sweet. Service once seated is pretty quick at least. Always attentive to your water replenishment at least. Not a fan of the lack of hispanic/mexican music in the restaurant. They have the soundtrack of a shopping mall. Its ok overall, nothing too special.

I was greeted warmly by a server and the excellent service continued throughout my dining experience. The food was delicious. Highly recommend the queso fundido and the mole. I would definitely return. Side note, if you participate in United Mileage Plus Dining this is a mileage earning restaurant.

The bartender/server seemed new and a bit short with her words. She didn't want to split the check and rather than asking if we were on the same tab, assumed we were together and told us splitting tabs isn't allowed, but she would do it this time as an exception. I go there often and never have a problem with splitting tabs so this was unusual. The food is delicious, but maybe sit at a table. This new bartender leaves much to be desired.

A little oasis of a cafe in the alphabet city. Very quiet. The best and biggest shortbbread cookie I’ve seen. Beautiful greenery filling the large glass windows. This is a place that makes you want to write a haiku - even if you’ve never written one before.

A cute little spot settled across from a garden. The area is full of trees and is super relaxing. I got the cappuccino which was great. Bring your book and relax out front. My favorite part about this spot is everything chats with each other. It feels like a place where neighbors convene. A true gem!

I love this little *just coffee* shop. The espresso is perfect, yes, perfect - mornings, afternoons and early evenings it’s perfect and the team consistently are kind, helpful, and timely. It’s quiet enough inside to think for a minute, maybe even read a bit, while enjoying your cup and they offer several dairy/non dairy options for “espresso with milk.” Your choices are: coffee or espresso, milk or no milk, ice, sugar, sweeteners, honey/agave. There are a few selective pastries- the shortbread looks beautiful but so far, I’ve just savored the espresso. Good to note - you pick the size cup. All options come with 2 shots of espresso. You cup size determines how much milk you want. Love this place so much.

I first knew Ninth Street when I visited their spot in Chelsea market. I was impressed by how consistent the barista performance was despite the tourist location. Since then I always try Ninth Street whenever I see one and each time the experience has been good. I like the subtle fruity and acidity in the espresso base, nice go solo or with milk. This is the original Ninth Street sitting in East village. There are two benches in front for outdoor seating. Sub-bathed, cozy and peaceful ambience.

I had originally mentioned in my review that they no longer offer Wifi (previous reviews suggested they used to). It’s not a dealbreaker, but I think it’s a fairly common amenity and worth noting for those who are looking for it. The owner’s public response, however, was unexpectedly confrontational: "That you’d rate a coffee shop based on whether or not it offers wifi is ridiculous. We’re not a coworking space. Go to the library." Businesses can choose their atmosphere, but this kind of confrontational tone isn’t welcoming. Plenty of shops set boundaries without being dismissive, and Wifi can be useful for many reasons besides coworking. I prefer supporting cafes that are inclusive and communicate respectfully.

Coffee’s alright, solid, though the barista seemed a little clueless when I asked about what syrups they have (essentially just simple and chocolate sauce…). Worth flagging that there’s no WiFi, so don’t expect to do work here.

The fastest wifi in the area in my observation. There's lots of sunlight which is delightful and the tables are decent for any purposes. Great coffee guaranteed and delicious bakery goods as well. Considering all these I just mentioned, you can imagine how competitive to secure a table for yourself here especially on weekends.

The ambiance and service were phenomenal. The view was gorgeous, and let's not forget the chić decor. We got mimosas, espresso martini, breakfast sammies, a burger, and crab cakes. The only thing I cared for was the amazing burger that was seasoned well and their crispy, double-coated fries. It was simply dressed but delicious.

I stopped by as a walk-in because I wanted to enjoy a rooftop. The interior was beautifully designed with a luxurious feel, and the sunset view was great. I ordered a glass of white wine, but it was a bit disappointing to see the pour was less than half for the price. Still, it’s a nice spot to come when you want to enjoy the atmosphere and the view.

We fully expected the main courses to be top-tier, and they were—the steaks and pork chops were excellent and perfectly cooked. However, the real surprise was how Electric Lemon managed to make the vegetable sides and appetizers taste so unique and delicious. This is where the kitchen's creativity truly shines. The food is refreshingly inventive. A standout example was the Summer Squash appetizer, which was absolutely delightful. It featured a captivating mix of textures and flavors, including crunchy hazelnuts, fresh sprouts, and some sort of unexpected, complimentary puree. The combination of ingredients was so thoughtful and well-executed; every bite was a testament to how complex and satisfying vegetable dishes can be. Checked out the outdoor terrace area for a cocktail, burger and hamachi Friday after work to kick off the long weekend and was taken away by the amazing space and views. The burger was perfectly cooked medium just how it should be with cheesy goodness. The tequila cocktail was another standout, but it’s the decadence of the space itself that’s the true star. There was a bit of a breeze but so worth it.

Love electric lemon we come here for random occasions & important ones too! I think we have been around 6 times now since we have found it & I don’t think I’ve had a bad meal here. We love to switch up & get something different but I will always get their beef tartare 🥰

We arrived at Electric Lemon around 8:50 PM and were surprised to hear the rooftop closes at 10 PM—pretty early for a NYC rooftop, especially on a beautiful night. When we arrived, the host told us there were no outdoor tables available, but we were welcome to sit at the bar. Once we went out to the terrace, we noticed plenty of empty tables. Needless to say we were very unhappy with the hosts and how the situation was handled. Thankfully, a kind waitress ended up seating us outside, and we really enjoyed our time. The views are great, and the ambiance is lovely. Just left wondering why they didn’t let us sit from the start. It just seemed unnecessarily complicated. Still, glad it worked out in the end.

This cafe is located in the basement of Rockefeller plaza. Many other restaurants are there as well, so it should be easy to locate this cafe. We ordered hot chocolate and cappuccino, nothing fancy. Hot chocolate was on the sweeter side and cappuccino was a bit strong for me. The plain croissant was good and flaky. The staff is quite friendly and kind. I would like to try their iced coffees next time. Hopefully next time I can tell them not to make it too strong.

They have one of the best coffee. Forget about Starbucks. Give it a try. It’s very good. Also a very polished interior, smooth and minimalistic. Will be back for sure to take more photos.

This location is SLOW. I work in the Rock Center area, have come here on several occasions, and it delivers invariably slow service. In fact, I just now wasted 10+ minutes waiting for a latte than didn't come, and had to get a refund to get back to a meeting on time. My one moment of respite ruined by dumb slow service. I can't see myself coming back here given this consistently slow customer service; there are many other coffee joints.

This is the nearest Blue Bottle Coffee from Rockefeller Center as they are located in Rockefeller Plaza. This local coffee shop serves variant of Espresso, New Orleans - Style Coffee, Coffee, Tea, Chocolate, and some foods that are suitable for breakfast or snack. They also provide freshly brewed coffee beans and come merchandises. The dine in area isn't that big, but once we got seated, it feels quite comfortable here. I tried their Cold Brew Single Origin 12 oz for $6. A cup of cold brew with abundant ice cubes. It's a refreshing coffee that isn't bitter and sour.

I love my coffee experience with Blue Bottle. They have amazing coffee beans and the taste is great. Real coffee. I ordered hot Cappuccino and Latte. The Cafe also has enough space to sit or stand to enjoy your coffee. It is located in the kinda basement floor of the Rockefeller so it can be quite tricky to find as we experienced when using google map. I will definitely come back.

This Think Coffee location is not a place where straight-haired staff (of any hue) welcomes dark-skinned women with "nappy" hair, as my phenotype automatically deems me unattractive. It saddens me that in the twenty-first century, numerous companies do not understand that treating darker-skinned women with non-straight hair as human beings, versus criminals, will bring in more profits. If this company continues to value colorism and misogynoir, they will continue losing revenue they could have gained from humanizing women of my particular phenotype. Management does not exhibit empathy and compassion (a hostile and manipulative response I received via email clearly showed this), which automatically tells me every individual on their team has not processed any trauma, as-ault, ab-se, rage, hurt, pain or invalidation they've experienced as children and/or adults. When individuals - be they baristas, managers or CEOs - have done the emotionally challenging work of processing their private pain (versus denying it like billions of humans do every day), it will show in their values, in their hospitality and in their compassionate response to incidents. I wish their humanity the best.

Very rude staff. Went to the washroom first before ordering a coffee. Later When i went up to order, the old Asian guy rudely Yelled at us that we should BUY something first BEFORE I am allowed to use their washroom. Been a customer before. Won’t be going back. Very bad service. And their bathrooms are gross and no toilet paper. Bring your own toilet paper. If he kept his mouth shut, I would have bought a drink for my Partner and I.

I stayed here for hours. Wifi took forever to stay connected, like eventually, it might depend on where you sit. Did overhear barista tell to another customer that best place to stay is the inner part when she asked. I forgot my baristas name but I'm glad she paid attention to details because I forgot to mention my milk preference

Update: 9/5/23 - the wifi still often does work here. Good vibe, but can get crowded because it's near NYU. In summary, Think Coffee on Mercer Street in NY is a great cafe with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Their coffee is delicious and their food options are appealing. The staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend trying it out!

Cool place with a large space, which makes the task of finding a free table super easy. Many people come here to work on their computers and it still feels very airy, quite and welcoming. But the sitting area inside is very dark and the coffee got a score of 8 out of 10 from my friends.

Great coffee and especially great pastry treats. The atmosphere is what StarBucks used to be in the beginning. Cozy and chill. I really hope that they keep this alive and don't slip off to StarBucks is right now. Keep up the good work!

Man who took my order was so rude! The board says non dairy milk so I asked if they had almond milk which isn’t 100% given before I presumed. He scoffed. So then I ordered al almond milk cappuccino and I received a latte. Not worth $7! But really Atticus to ask. Find a new profession.

Not even close to a 5 star experience. No umbrellas available when it rained, screws on the floor when we entered our room, lip stick on my glass for breakfast, no wipes to clean gym equipment. Zero things to make the hotel feel like it stands out. Cool localization and Bruce at the bar was great but incredibly disappointing for the price.

We keep coming back! This was our 4th or 5th stay at the Crosby and it does not disappoint! Very welcoming every time! We were lucky enough to be greeted and helped with luggage by Drew- he's always got a smile on his face!! It was my birthday this last trip and the assistant manager was kind enough to have fresh flowers and cupcakes awaiting our arrival! Everything in this hotel AND restaurant are amazing! The restaurant and bar are always busy and for good reason, the food is great and the vibe is outstanding! We have tried both sides of the hotel and I do suggest the LaFayette side versus the Crosby side if you are a sensitive sleeper. I heard more traffic this time on the Crosby side. It's the first time we have ever heard traffic, so maybe that is not usually an issue. Great gym and we love the cozy garden and lounge area for afternoon snacks! The rooms always smell amazing and the housekeeping staff are wonderful! Looking forward to our return soon!

I’m in NYC mostly monthly for work and I’ve had a favorite hotel for a while (that is also 5 stars and a classic)…. That was before I stayed at The Crosby Hotel this week. Everything was phenomenal. At most hotels, there is usually something that isn’t 100%, but not a big deal so you just ignore it (like less favorite room service or something), this is not the case with The Crosby. The room service menu and service itself is AMAZING, from the presentation (I’m obsessed with their China pattern and the silver cloches are even above the norm) to the food itself. It’s genuinely fresh, delicious food and arrive swiftly. The housekeeping team is perfection. The overall team, from check in to just those holding the door for you as you enter or depart, all phenomenal. The room feels as if you are at home. It’s cozy, comfortable, and decorated to perfection. The shower pressure is amazing, but even the small details (heated towel rack) put it above the others. The storage in the closet (which includes great shelving) + the actual dressers in the room make unpacking an ease. I’ve definitely found my new preferred hotel when I have events at a particular venue close by. Possibly even if it’s across town, as it would be worth the extra commute. I’m excited to try their other properties in other cities as well. I also love that they still have glass bottle diet cokes 😉 it’s the little things.

As always, this has to be one of the most stylish and welcoming hotels in NYC….always sad when the stay has to end ! Such consistency in staffing and warm welcomes from Lobby, Reception, Crosby Bar and Room staff…. nothing is too much

A lovely spot located in the lobby of the iconic High Line Hotel. I tried one of their signature coffees and really enjoyed it. Both the garden area and the lobby have a beautiful atmosphere that makes it a great place to relax!

This coffee shop is a true hidden gem, tucked away in the High Line Hotel. It’s the perfect place to escape the city's hustle and bustle and find some peace and quiet, with plenty of seating both in the front and back of the hotel. Great place to read and get some work done The cappuccino was worth every penny. The beautiful latte art and the serene outdoor space will easily make us regulars. I’d give the croissants a pass Super dog friendly. Charcoal approved ☑️

We ordered from their Single Origin Coffee Selections, specifically the Ethiopia Bishan Fugu Natural—a beautifully aromatic pour-over with delicate hints of raspberry, red grape, and hibiscus. It’s worth noting that their pour-overs are served hot only, as they don’t offer them iced, but the depth and warmth of the flavor easily made up for it. Alongside that, I had a flat white, perfectly textured and well-balanced, smooth without losing its coffee-forward clarity. The interior of the High Line Hotel is nothing short of captivating—dimly lit, with antique wood, aged leather seating, and the quiet hum of guests reading, typing, or conversing softly. It’s one of those rare spaces in Chelsea that feels almost hidden from the city—refined, timeless, and grounding. The outdoor courtyard, lined with ivy and shaded by trees, adds another layer of serenity for those looking to work or linger a little longer. While it does get busy, especially during peak hours, the setting never loses its sense of calm. The baristas were kind and attentive; though service was minimal, it felt genuine. Toward the end, they surprised us with complimentary sweets—a thoughtful touch that closed the visit on a warm note. Intelligentsia at the High Line Hotel isn’t just a café—it’s a pause from New York itself. Every element, from the coffee’s precision to the space’s quiet grandeur, invites you to slow down, reflect, and simply be.

The only coffee shop I've been to around the world to which I give 5/5 stars in all of my categories. This is the daily brew, so fancy. Absolute perfection.

Easily one of the most beautiful coffee shops I have ever been to. The location its at is surrounded by plants and has great outdoor seating arrangements. The baristas were accommodating with our requests and suggested us food to go with our coffees.

Being served espresso “for here” should never manifest itself in the form of a “to go” water cup. There were dozens of cups to serve an espresso but the workers are lazy and rather not clean another mug. Perhaps they are simply ignorant to the difference in taste a plastic cup yields versus a glazed ceramic mug.

I have to show some love to this "coffee shop!" I've never had coffee like this and when I say it was DELICIOUS I am not just saying that! I ordered a Carmel Latte Iced with almond milk and it was so so good! I am from Texas and can't wait to return to this coffee shop! Definitely try them out!

Fantastic coffee spot—they really know their coffee well, pour an excellent cup, and have some great beans to choose from. I wouldn’t quite compare them to Sey . . . But I will speak their names in the same breathe. Oh, also friendly and helpful service. Unfortunately small selection of pastries, but you can’t have everything I guess. Not much room inside but a couple tables of outdoor seating, pleasant if it’s a nice day.

A cute coffee shop! Absolutely loved my matcha! Love the cute tiny and aesthetic atmosphere. Prices were average however staff wasn’t super friendly.

I'm quite picky about coffee. Generally prefer to brew my own at home instead of getting it at cafes. Especially skeptical of flavored drinks. But Terremoto surpassed my expectations. Both the space oddity (rose) and purple rain (lavender) were subtly flavored and really enhanced the overall drink. Definitely recommend it as a stop if you're around Chelsea market

A very small and nice coffee ☕️ shop. Looks and smells like they should have wonderful coffee. But sadly their coffee is very acidic and it tastes to me that the extraction time is too short and grind is too fine grounds for the bean they are using. I normally don't recommend big companies over small shops but going to the Starbucks Reserve down the street is a much safer bet for your caffeine fix.

Stopped by Back Bar on a Saturday evening, reservations in hand, but the place was surprisingly quiet. Located in a hotel lobby, the bar has plenty of space. We swung by for drinks only, ordering the Early Harvest and Lemongrass Daiquiri - both well-made. The staff was friendly. Decor was stylish, and prices reasonable. A solid spot for groups or dates, though not particularly memorable.

Are here twice during our hotel stay. First night was busy but excellent service and amazing food and drinks. 2nd time was in the afternoon, was less busy but we were definitely forgotten about.

I booked a window table for our anniversary, and let me tell you, the view at night is absolutely magical! Our server, Marco, was fantastic—he suggested a cocktail I wouldn’t have picked myself, and it turned out to be just perfect. The vibe is both chic and romantic, making it a lovely spot for a special occasion. Yes, it’s a bit on the pricey side, but for such a milestone celebration, it was totally worth every penny to feel so special!

Stopped by for pre dinner drinks and blown away by the beautiful ambiance! What a clever little place you would never expect. Drinks we excellent and service was great.

I used to come here when it was The Vine. I actually didn’t know it had changed until met up with a friend here for drinks. The menu isn’t as good anymore and I was devastated to hear they no longer serve the Frose! This is the first place I ever tried it and it is (well was) still the best I’ve ever had! For a drink, I ordered a Mezcal Negroni; it was all right. We also ordered the fried calamari, crisps & dips and French fries. There’s nothing really inventive about the menu and it is standard bar fare. For the most part, the food was fine but I really didn’t like the crisps & dips. Our waitress was nice and the food came almost too fast. The atmosphere is better than your standard hotel bar vibes. Not sure I will come back here.

This little bar is the perfect spot for a coffee, a snack, or light lunch in the sometimes-bleak Herald Square area! Quiet and comfortable, Back Bar has comfortable seating and a calm ambiance. The service was excellent; timely, friendly, but unobtrusive. A much more gracious and pleasant meeting spot than the local Starbucks!

They added $60 to my tab after I paid. I guess they didn’t realize I got a copy of the receipt, so easily caught they did. Needless to say I won’t be going back. And heads up to everyone else - make sure to check your receipt against your bank statement at Back Bar. Skeevy and gross behavior.

Came in and had a blast. That bartender clocked in for work. Pretty sure I saw him deliver a baby. Super fun and charismatic. Great music. Great drinks. Great vibes. Hangover well worth it.

Julien has been the best bartender for all of the years we have been coming to park bar. We have been coming since 2023 and just love having this place as our neighborhood spot. I highly recommend coming here for a drink, for a party, for an event or just to enjoy a weeknight or weekend night. A true neighborhood gem.

The best matcha in NYC! I’m absolutely obsessed with Cha Cha Matcha! Every time I visit, I’m blown away by how fresh, rich, and perfectly balanced their matcha is – hands down the best I’ve had in New York. Huge shoutout to Sulthan and Damien for their outstanding service! They’re always so kind, welcoming, and truly make the experience extra special. First time visiting a Cha Cha Matcha. The shop looks kinda upscale and inviting. Staff was very friendly. The matcha latte itself was nice -- I liked it 4 ⭐

Quick and accessible location perfect spot to grab a quick drink and bite before your train trip. I will say the money is a little bit high up, but I like that it’s not directly behind the counter so it’ll be fine just lined up in the way. The barista I had, Navy, was kind, attentive and helpfully explaining what the pastries options were. Also the music choice was very fun and the pink and green interior, made my stress filled commute to Moynihan a little more fun. I will say I was a little disappointed that they only had Stevia as a sweetener option at the lid station. Luckily, I had some spare sugar packets in my bag. Overall, once I added my sugar, my matcha was fantastic! 5/5 for presentation, texture and flavor. Cha Cha Matcha has somehow avoided the grainy matcha problem. I also got an apple turnover which was the perfect amount of sweet (though I know some people might think it’s too sweet), flaky, and buttery and it was slim in height compared to other turnovers making it very portable.

I love the vibe here—the people are always so friendly. Navy is great, and there are also two other girls who usually take my orders, though I haven’t caught their names. The matcha is delicious, especially the strawberry matcha. Definitely my favorite spot for matcha!

I’m still new to the whole matcha world and had no clue what to get, but the barista who took my order asked me what kind of taste I wanted. I said sweet, so she whipped up something with cold foam on top and it was really good. I also loved the music they were playing inside. Omg, they were jamming to Chloe x Halle, Ariana Grande, SZA, Taylor Swift, and more. Such a cute spot with a great vibe. I’ll definitely be back!

Great stop for a coffee. Enjoyed the cortado and they don’t charge extra for milk alternatives (such as oat, almond, soy) which is amazing! Indoor tables available to sit in. The service was very fast even with a line. Some pastries available - the almond croissant and scone looked good!

Café Grumpy has quickly become one of my favorite coffee spots. Every time I walk in, I'm greeted with a smile and treated like a regular, even when I'm not. Snug coffee shop in Financial District. On weekends, this place is spacious with a cozy seating area. (I haven’t been there during the week, so maybe it’s a different situation then?) Service is top quality - the lates here are delightful! I don’t recall there being a bathroom at this location.

I was here in December 2024 and never wrote my review. Good cold brew and good service. I stopped here on my visit to DUMBO, as I'm sure many people do. It was early in the morning, so it was not busy, but I imagine when it's more tourist season it gets busy. Seems like a decent place for coffee in a great location!

Awesome little spot in the tourist Gossip Girl spot! I had a coffee, and it was very sweet! I get cold brew with some caramel, and they definitely are not light on it! The staff were very friendly, and you can just tell that they're all friends, I will go here again.

Called in while visiting DUMBO and the iconic photo location of The Empire State Building through Manhattan Bridge. Managed to get seats in the window. Nice coffee in Joe’s signature mug. Only slight annoyance was queuing for the toilet especially when non customers seemed to be using it. Not the staff’s fault.

Today I woke up and decided to try a Joe Caffe, but I couldn't get through. Apparently, it tastes like this sign tastes to someone who needs to walk the sidewalk, but it's blocked by ads.

Most unwelcoming and uninviting place I’ve been to. They block off all electric outlets so you can’t charge any device. If you’re looking to come in and do some quick work in your computer, don’t come. Baristas were rude and really didn’t seem like they wanted me or anyone there. The cold brew tasted like dirty water. Avoid this place and go somewhere with better vibes and, at the very least, better coffee.

This place is an absolute staple and the guys who run it are extremely attentive, hospitable, and kind. a true gem in the neighborhood that still has an authentic feel and fast service. the scrambled eggs & arepa paired with a latte — perfection.

Had a cappuccino yesterday. The barista skills were pretty low level. Have been to many shops of this brand and it was always good, but not here.

This is a great place just off a Main Street to get coffee and food on a Saturday. I stopped in so that I could get some work done and the vibe is chill. There is a large variety of coffee and food items. The fact that they have a toaster and a toaster oven for food preparation makes me very happy. Megan, the owner is fantastic.

Stumbled in here after not finding anywhere to sit at Devoción. This coffee shop has plenty of seats to work from, a yummy prosciutto sandwich, and good WiFi!

Nice spot for a quick lunch. Pita was warm and thick. All other elements of the bowl were standard but held together well. Bellini was a pleasant juicy treat. Server was pleasant considering the demanding crowd. Great space with uniques findings and lots to look at.

The Maker Cafe is one of our favorite breakfast and brunch spots in town. They have the most beautiful pastries made locally, great food, and everyone is friendly. The space is absolutely stunning as well. Highly recommend!

I've come to The Maker since it opened, eating dinner in the restaurant and stopping in the cafe several times. I was even a member of the gym for almost 2 years. I can count on one hand how many times I have been greeted walking into any of the spaces. Cafe staff always take heavy sighs before taking my order (i've never ordered anything more complex than coffee to go or a salad to stay, and this has happened literally every single time I've come in since 2020). Just today, two workers walked away so they wouldn't have to take my order. When I was a gym member, I was asked several times if I had signed in in the middle of my workout (which the lazy racism there isn't even the worst part, it's just really strange that a place where you self sign-in would suddenly ever be alarmed I was there). I was accused of tracking snow into the gym even though I always change my shoes to use an indoor pair, I'd see members leave cups of water all over the gym and they'd be in the same place 24 hours later, and when I went to cancel my membership, I was still charged. So those are my old complaints there. But today, I was just reminded that regardless of whether I spend money and time at your facilities or just pop in for a coffee or a work meeting, I've had so many demoralizing experiences here that I need to stop coming. I popped my head into a part of the hotel and didn't realize it was a private event and was trying to walk out once I realized that, and a woman came rushing toward me literally shooing me away telling me to leave. Again, I don't want to blame racism but no one addressed anyone else in the room who wasn't leaving, so please consider how that comes across. I don't know whether it's low staff morale, if the staff really is that busy, or what I am doing wrong so consistently, but I needed to let you know that I will never recommend the maker for anything anymore when there are so many luxury experiences in town or nearby.

We stopped in for coffee and some pastry. The building is very interesting. The sitting area is neat and comfortable. We have talked about spending a night or 2 at the Maker. Hudson is enjoyable to visit. Many interesting things along Warren st.

Sat down for lunch and order a Maker BLT and my partner ordered chicken sandwich, and oat milk with a coffee and tea. Friendly service, comfortable seating, and warm and inviting atmosphere. Would definitely come here again to try more of their cafe pastries.

Came here for brunch on MLK Day. We were a party of 6 so they gave us the boardroom, which was super cute with art and velvet curtains. They have a somewhat limited menu, only sandwiches and salads. The corned beef and turkey sandwiches were really good. It was a beautifully decorated space. Definitely worth a visit while in Hudson.

Although time has left this place behind inside and out, there’s a certain local feel to this place, as unassuming as its name. I had a great burger—“One-eyed”—a bacon cheese burger topped with a fried egg done over easy. The burger was flame broiled for nice flavor, with real crispy bacon. Fries were hot and crispy. Only the bun was subpar, a bit dry. Prices were decent and good value, though charging nearly $4 for soda was excessive. Service was excellent and friendly. Definitely will return to try other dishes.

Sat at the counter. Waitress ignored me while playing on her phone . Terrible coffee. Corn beef hash tasted like cat food smells. Asked for over medium eggs and received over easy eggs. Presentation was a mess, grease all over the edge and side of the plate. Pretty much a dump with bad food and a waitstaff that couldn’t care less about their jobs. Definitely won’t be a repeat customer.

This is just the best diner in the whole Hudson Valley. Couldn’t recommend more. Today we had the gyro Wednesday lunch special and it was delicious. Ate every morsel.

My boyfriend and I really loved this place. We came for breakfast on our way out of Hudson. Our service was really wonderful, and everything came out pretty quick. I had a delicious Texas benedict with grits and my boyfriend had some french toast. We really appreciate small places like this that are old school and honor home style cooking. Prices were also cheap which we appreciate, considering how much the cost of things have gone up with literally everything right now. We would definitely come back!!

This place made my day. I am new to ordering coffee the way I like it, and find a lot of box coffee shops struggle to customize drinks. I’m trying to learn what tradition order (macchiato, latte, cappuccino) best suits my preferences. I went in here and the barista was so fantastic. Patient, interested, and taught me a ton about coffee drink orders. I left feeling like an actual satisfied customer. My cappuccino was fantastic, too. Cannot say enough how much I appreciated this person’s time and focus - it went a long way for me.

Wednesday afternoon in Hudson downtown: Wow, we walked all the way up from Hudson River and there was not a single café open around 5.00 p.m. But then, luckily, before we wanted to head back to our car we found this wonderful café. Big pleasure to relax in the fine and cozy furnished place for cake and coffee. :)

These days of a fast moving world, one could travel 2 hours up the Hudson from New York City to see the world as it used to be, spend the night in a comfortable hotel, and in the morning go to REV for coffee, in a quaint home like atmosphere get a powerful takeoff espresso. I never thought that I would make it through the day until after I exchanged with a pleasant woman and a donut, and these donuts are amazing. It's the one two punch the coffee the smiling barista, and the donut .. then I'm ready for anything because I'm a photographer and Hudson is a photographer paradise

Over the years, this coffee shop has been one of my favorites. As a vegan, I really value their selection of oat, soy, and almond milk options, especially since the almond milk is unsweetened. I prefer to reserve my sugar intake for treats like cookies, though I wish they offered plant-based sweets. That said, the cozy ambiance, whether inside or on the patio, always keeps me coming back!

Unpretentious fantastic coffee and barista! Nice and mellow for a bit of Saturday morning work or coffee date. They do have snacks like muffins, cookies, quiche and small sandwiches the are delicious and reasonably priced when you want something nice to fill your stomach so the coffee doesn't burn. But just know they're not the upscale places down the street.

Got an espresso to stay. Came with a little cookie which was a nice touch. My pics don't include the spoon cause i left it at the pickup station. Friendly staff and unique environment. Smells like leather and machine oil so if you like that then it's the coffee shop for you.

A great combination of motorcycle shop and coffee shop. At first I thought the motorcycles were just decorative which was awesome enough, but the back of the shop actually is a motorcycle shop. I was talking to the owner for a little bit and he was really cool. They have a huge selection of helmets and then a bunch of used bikes for sale, but I think he works on bikes in the back either for customers or just himself because there was a bike on a stand back there being taken apart. The coffee was good and they had some pastries which were also delicious when they warmed them up for us. They have a couple different tables for two people or four people or you could pull some tables together if you have a bigger group. This place is right in the center of town so it's easy to park anywhere on the main Street and walk and then do some shopping before or after you grab your coffee.

Went for the first time today. Great atmosphere with friendly service!! Had coffee and cinnamon roll. Was very tasty. If you are a fan of motorcycles, coffee,good food, and bench racing check them out. We really enjoyed our time there and got to meet Ian and had a great chat with him. We will be back!!

Came for breakfast, left impressed. Nice space, good service & presentation - down to the cups. The coffee was excellent, as was the food. The waffles (sweet ones in my case) are very light and innovative in their combinations. Very nice! Not to be missed if you’re in the area.

Understated coffee shop in Hudson. Best staff and vibe for either caching up with a friend or grabbing a brew to go. They also have the best breakfast burritos in town.

The food is pretty good and this is my favorite fast food chain but the only problem sometimes I get a number 5 with hot mustard and a Dr Pepper but they forget to give me the sauce and also one time my stepmom was babysitting me and my stepsister and for some reason they didn’t have Dr Pepper and I was saying in my head that it was strange like they always have Dr Pepper. Suggestion: since the heat is coming pls try your best to fix the ice cream machine. There’s my review. Pls notice this review to use it to your advantage

This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. You routinely wait over 30 minutes for a curbside or mobile order. Stopped by today and left after a half hour of waiting with no food. And this is the third time that has happened to me in the last 3 months! I will not be coming back to this McDonald's again They are clearly understaffed and cannot manage to run properly.

The manager was cooking. 2nd cook didn’t have a clue. 2 workers up front were just running around in circles like chickens. Got 2 orders WRONG before even waiting on me. Customers leaving nobody would wait on them. I asked twice if anyone was working counter. Told “we are just really busy” still doing circles. I could see THREE orders on the screen. They couldn’t figure it out. Manager (cooking) finally had to come out from cooking to take my order. They are still in there running in circles.

This place is complete CRAP, I ORDERED ALMOST 80$ WORTH OF FOOD THROUGH UBER EATS AND NOT EVEN HALF OF IT WAS DELIVERED! my delivery driver assured me he asked if everything was there and I 100% believe him because my bag was PERFECTLY SEALED. After I noticed I'm missing MOST OF MY ORDER I TRIED CALLING THE STORE IN HUDSON NY ON FAIRVIEW AVE AND IT RANG MAYBE 5 TIMES BEFORE GOING TO A HIGH PITCHED SCREECHING NOISE. NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE THERE! we are regular customers and I can't tell you how many I've had to go back inside because they either messed up the order or didn't give me what I PAID FOR! I walked in and it was really clean. The staff was really nice. My breakfast was so well made and tasty. Best of all, I set up to work on my photographs for a long time and nobody minded at all.

This place is absolutely filthy! There are objects under the soda area that have been there for months and months and more months. Everything needs to be scrubbed nit just wiped down. Disgusting!

I ordered a wopper brisket bbq burger 🍔 it was more like a mayo pickles burger the mayo overpower the burger and let's not talk about the brisket I was looking for that but when I finally discovered it I thought it was paper didn't taste like meat not only the turn off about the burger the juice machine was awfully dirty full of dust sticky and stink think about all the mold people are drinking from the inside .....because if the outside is nasty imagine the inside absolute filthy

Stopped by Bagel Tyme and won’t be returning. the women working there were rude and unwelcoming, they clearly favor locals. I got to basic bagels, a coffee, and a small bottle of Orange juice was charge over $15. My fault for not questioning the charges. The bagels were mediocre at best—not worth it. I live in NYC where bagels are $4-$5+ and they’re actually delicious. This place is overpriced and overrated.

Ordered drive thru pick up, and got there and had to go inside because i was using apple pay, which isn’t really a big deal, but i feel as though it should be stated in the app. Got an ice tea with lemon, and a bacon egg and american CHEESE on a hard roll. Got it, took my first bite and realized there was no cheese. at all. The eggs were so dry i could barely swallow. bacon was over cooked as well so it was also unbelievably dry. Ate half and realized towards the end it got extremely dry…lo and behold there’s barely any egg or bacon on the sandwich! The tea was good but that really doesn’t say much. If only they put any amount of effort into the food…microwaved eggs and bacon, as well as poor service in the kitchen and counter aren’t good for business. i recommend a local gas station over this 1000%. Even stewart’s lmao.

Have been going here for years. Moved to Florida 2 years ago and can't find good bagels here. Came up to Hudson to visit friends and family. Stopped in and got a sesame with butter and olive. Bought a dozen to take back to Florida. Young lady who waited on me worked very hard to put them in a plastic bag as I requested. They made it down here in great condition. I just had one and it was just like I never left Hudson. They need to learn how to make bagels down here. I told them at the store that they need to figure out how to ship them down to me.

They made the worst BLT I have ever eaten. It literally had a few slivers of lettuce and one paper thin tomato slice. My wife also had the same. She ordered an eclair too. They wrapped it tight and placed it in bottom of the bag with the BLTs on top. All the chocolate melted and stuck to.the wax paper.

The workers there are awesome. Short wait time. Very kind and friendly. Very clean place. Bathroom very clean. I stop in once some times twice a week.

Incredible food - half dozen oysters & Serrano ham croquettes - and great service! The bar staff did a great job on my Gin Gimlet. Extensive wine list, with some good bottle options. Top notch stuff here.

What a treat. Great food, atmosphere, and location. We happened upon this place as we were waiting for an Amtrak. We had the best coffee and egg sandwiches. Seated on the bar side in a cute corner. There’s also cool outdoor spaces. The general store had so many goodies we picked up for the rest of our trip. 100 percent coming back here next time at the beginning of the next trip to Hudson to load up on provisions.

Kitty’s is a charming little spot conveniently located right next to the Amtrak station in Hudson, which makes it a great stop whether you're coming into town or heading out. The location alone is a major plus. The shop offers a wide variety of items, ranging from pantry goods to drinks and baked treats. However, when it comes to fresh food options—especially in the morning—the menu is a bit limited. In fact, the only breakfast meal on offer is an egg and cheese sandwich. That said, it’s a solid one—well-made, satisfying, and flavorful. It also comes with the option of a hash brown on the side, which I definitely recommend. Crispy, well-seasoned, and just the right portion. I do believe that they are priced on the bit of the higher end. They also had a selection of baked goods on display. While I didn’t get the chance to try them, they looked fresh and genuinely tempting. As tasty as they look, I wasn’t willing to pay what I thought was an excessive price for baked goods that weren’t even coming from the bakery. Overall, Kitty’s is worth a visit, especially if you're looking for a quick, tasty bite before hopping on a train or exploring Hudson. Just don’t expect a full brunch menu—come for the quality, not the quantity.

Conveniently right across the train station. We came here for breakfast and they had a refreshingly small menu. The food was very good! The decor was very retro and the breakfast sandwich was excellent. As other commentators have mentioned, the hash browns are to die for. Would have given it 5 stars if it didnt have NYC prices, but that's Hudson I guess.

Fantastic vibes, fantastic food! I had the Skillet Cake, which was perfection, with a load of butter and house made preserves. The Kitty Temple was delightful as well: ginger beer, house-made grenadine, with lemon and lime.

7/18 update: The feta herb scone is absolutely delightful!! Light sweet taste, hard, crisp exterior, soft, airy interior! Yum!! 😋 Lovely, quirky, colorful, flavorful, diverse options/flavors (but not overwhelming). What a charming place for my matcha and cruller. Coffee Cruller was decadent and flavorful and powerful! Perfectly soft with a slight crispy edge. Matcha had a nice light sweet hint (just from the oatmilk--nothing added , and no strong "earthy" taste).

The food was really amazing. Like honestly some of the best chicken I’ve ever had. Even the potatoes and their miso slaw was so unique and so delicious. The outside seating was very pretty but I was constantly being attacked by bee’s which is not their fault but just stating. I got an iced tea and asked for it sweet but it wasn’t very good and the cashier was a bit rude. But the food was really good so definitely would come back.

It’s a horrible service because racist. I’m taking my kids for an ice cream. The lady name Brittney was check me out take my money and make me way for her to check out another customer. Ok I understand I waited. And she check out another customer not even said anything to me and act like we’re disappearing. And she try to check out another customer i can’t stand how she treat customers like that just because we’re asian? I step up asked how long i have to wait more she turn around and give me an attitude. And that guy she was try to check him out he turn to me and started cruces at me in front of my kids OMG so so rude. Never ever come back to this store again.

Its hit or miss with this Stewart. Sometimes the staff is nice and sometimes they are not. And if it's past 8:30 they don't even seem to want to make a milkshakes or conveniently don't have the flavor your looking for.

I’ve been coming here for over 3 years to get my cigarettes and just about anything else I need as it’s close to home. The lady’s there have always treated me well. Unfortunately that ended today when I had the displeasure of being cashed out by the new manager. She claimed she couldn’t sell me cigarettes because there was a crack in my ID and when I explained it had never been a problem before she continued to tell me she was the manager and I wouldn’t be getting them there anymore. I’ve spent good money here for years and today they lost a good customer.

I have shopped at this store daily for several years. However, I've noticed customers not wearing masks to prevent spreading COVID. When I mentioned it to an employee, they said they are not allowed to ask customers to put on a mask. This evening a man and his companion crowded up behind me - not wearing masks. When I asked the man if he had a mask he said no. I said it's the law in NY to wear a mask and he said "F%$^& you." I'm not shopping at Stewarts any more.

I love calling to this Stewart’s. Location is in the middle of Saugerties. Things are always organized and clean in there. Staffs are very kind and helpful
