Went for my birthday, bartenders were rude, food was alright, and was extremely loud. Definitely overcrowded the place to make more money, there wasn't nearly enough tables or space for the amount of people in there especially for it being a Tuesday. Got yelled at by a bartender "to wake up" for laying my head on a barrel next to the couch I was sitting on and was told if I did it again I would be kicked out, I was not plastered or overly drunk to any capacity. Overall not a great experience.

The vibe is social without being overwhelming. Live music and events are part of the regular rhythm here, which keeps things lively especially later in the night.

Food was absolutely delicious, visited on 6/6/25 rolled in at 11:45 pm. Kitchen is open until 1230 which i appreciate, on the non pool table side it can be quite hectic and time consuming to try and order a drink . People cut in line(s) . Ordered food with my capital one card after scanning the QR code at our table , which was convenient. But payed with my debit for drinks (open tab) which is where things got sketchy . I ordered a bombay sapphire with cranberry and 3 strawberry mojitos , not sure how much the drinks are or were however, me and my lady had 2 each ... but I have 2 separate charges on my debit card from that night . 61 dollars and some change and 36 dollars and some change ... I doubt 4 drinks is going to be a few dollars shy of 100 bucks . I need answers SMH .

Kitchen closes at 12:30 and the food is pretty on point. Bathrooms are clean friendly and functional. Atmosphere is comfortable, pub like. A usual haunt if you don't want pizza for dinner when you're out late.

Waited to get in and seen with my own eyes security let in Minors as they were flirting. Scary place and cant understand how this could be going. You think your in a bar with "Adults" and your not. This could turn bad for the minor and adults.

I can't say enough good things about Sandrinis. Between the atmosphere being the right kind of chill and engaging, great food, regular events, and a nice scotch menu this location hits nearly all my kickback bar needs. Smoking room in the back if you're so inclined.

It's okay. The Chicken Tikka Masala tastes like American chili. The bourbon BBQ back burger was good along with the garlic parmesan fries it came with. Edit: Just post your Tiki Masala recipe here so we can review it and offer some suggestions.

When you’re stuck on the 99, what do you do? Take a detour to Temblor Brewing Company. It’s the perfect spot to grab a drink and have lunch or dinner. I came in during lunchtime and had fast, friendly service. They’ve got tons of options for craft beer, and the food was really tasty. I ordered the Nashville West Chicken Sandwich, pork belly tacos, and chicken fingers. The sandwich and chicken fingers were both filling and delicious, while the tacos were smaller but still packed with flavor. The brownie is a must try my kids loved it. The environment is really cool. Definitely a great place to hang out with friends. What makes it even better is that they always have something going on every day of the week to keep locals coming back. If you’re driving through Bakersfield, this is a must-stop spot.

Stopped in here on the way back to Stockton from a long road trip to Vegas and this place was a perfect little break for our family. We were just looking for a drink and a bite to eat and Temblor did not disappoint at all. The food was super solid — fresh, well-seasoned, and came out quick. I grabbed a beer and it was smooth and tasty. Our waiter was super chill and friendly, made great recommendations, and even gave us a casual little tour of the place which was a cool surprise. The inside has a really relaxed vibe, plenty of seating and it wasn’t crowded when we were there which made it even more enjoyable. Great spot to unwind for a bit after being on the road for hours. Only downside? The parking lot. It’s really small and kind of cramped. While backing out of a handicapped spot, someone else was backing out at the same time and we ended up bumping into each other not major, but annoying. Other than that, I’d totally come back again. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing through Bakersfield or need a cool stop on the road.

Prime rib Philly dip barely had any meat. The brats appetizer was dry. The sliders patty were burnt and also dry. Beers were flavorless. The only thing decent was the fries.

Very large brewery space—very nice and the beer is good. Tried “Under a Blood Orange Sky.” Only reason I didn’t give the place 5 stars was because they didn’t have a sticker available and have “been out of stickers for over a year,” according to my server. C’mon, whoever is running this place. There are craft beer fanatics like myself who collect brewery stickers. I made the effort to visit your brewery, and all I got to remember it is this lousy google review.

The burger was great and the fries hit the spot. The beer was tasty and the prices are not unexpected but well worth it. I'm a happy customer.

This is one of mine and my husbands favorite places to come eat and have our favorite beer: The streets of Bakersfield. Service is always amazing and the vibe is on point! I have been wanting a streets t-shirt and someone actually went to the back and found one! Super happy and satisfied customer!

My best friend wanted to celebrate her birthday 80s style downtown. This was my first time here and it was really fun! We got there by 9 pm, and our group was able to sit at two tables. The atmosphere was laid back. It seemed to have a regular clientele. Bartenders were very friendly with everyone! The drinks I had were very good, more ice and juice than alcohol but still good. The prices we paid were about $5 to $10 per drink. There was an ATM on the side of the room, but I'm sure there's a fee to use it. So bring cash with you!!! There was a jukebox, but you have to download an app and add money through it to play a song of your choice. It was loud in there, but we were all still able to talk to one another. Although there was music, it didn't look as if there was a dance floor. It was a pleasant bar, sure I'd love to go again.

Guthrie’s Alley Cat is a local staple, rich in history, been here over 70+ years, man if these walls could talk! Some might consider Guthrie’s a dive bar with outdated interior. I don’t, it matches the exterior of a almost 100 year old building. Come on down you may be seated next to an attorney wearing a 3 piece Italian suit or a oilfield worker still wearing their orange safety vest. Guthrie’s is known for their strong drinks, fair prices, pool table and jukebox, but bring cash no plastic here. They have a ATM inside .

Absolutely the best bar in town. Tiki-Ko is a full immersion experience, from the drinks to the decor and more! Their tiki theme definitely supports their name. Tiki-Ko is on the smaller side so if you arrive when it’s busy, don’t be surprised that there’s a line. Hop in line and wait as it’s not too bad and it’s worth it. Drinks are a little more on the expensive side but fear not, there’s plenty in them and their flavors will transport you to a relaxing island somewhere beautiful. The bartenders are top notch. They are super friendly so don’t be afraid to strike up a conversation with them. They’re also excellent in their craft. Be sure to catch their sister bar on the weekends, The Sinking Ship, a few doors down. It’s all the same great things in a bigger space with a nautical/tiki theme. The rotating drink options and cool swag definitely add to the experience too! Also check them out for their fun seasonal offerings. Nice Tiki bar located in downtown bekersfiled. Had a night out with friends here. Drink are good if you like them, sweet. Usually, it becomes packed at night. The layout is interesting. Very ship themed, but cool place no less.

Me and my friend were so excited to come check this place out since we’d never been there before and we wanted a new place to hang out. We had barely walked into the bar and the bouncer or bartender who was “checking IDs” was insanely rude to us. Instead of asking for our DL/ID. He DEMANDS it and says he “needs” it. Since we weren’t with another party of an older crowd. We were dressed nice and were ready to spend money and have a good time instead we left with a bad taste in our mouth due to a worker having a bad day. Sadly he completely turned me off to the entire place, even though, the inside is pretty cool. We will not be returning again!

Our first time spent at the moo creamery was such a wonderful experience. This gem had excellent service and food. We will definitely return. We had the pork eggs Benedict which they only serve on Saturday and Sunday. My mom said it was one of the best eggs Benedict she’s ever had! My husband had the baked French toast. I could tell by him smacking while he was eating it was delicious. I had a salad they went above and beyond to accommodate me with. I am a cancer patient who eats fruits and veggies only. They have freshly squeezed orange juice as well. That was so yummy!!! Their patio is dog friendly as well. I loved this restaurant!!!

Went for Sunday brunch. The family and I got biscuits and gravy chilaquiles pancakes and the ess burger The service was great. The waitress was on point with refilling drinks and bringing our food out The atmosphere is a good place to hang out socially, grab a beer and some good food

The food was pretty good, although some items were pricey for reasons unknown. While we did come at lunch hour, service was a little slow. I tried one of their desserts called affogato (means 'drowned' in Italian) and it was quite good for the price charged.

The food was a decent bit above what I expected but it's not excellent. The service and atmosphere however is wonderful, The overall ambience of the restaurant was fantastic and the actual service you get from the people that work there is stellar. It's also a small restaurant so you don't have to worry about waiting for your server to come back around You can always see them.

I ordered a basil lemonade, bacon & brie burger, & also got a hot chocolate to go. Everything was absolutely delicious. They make everything in house. The buns, potato chips, basil syrup all in house. They even make their own marshmallows for the hot chocolate. (Which is seriously the richest hot chocolate I've ever had in my life btw.) This place seriously deserves you stopping in for a bite. Everything here is made with love & you can taste it in the meal.

Fun, unique experience. While visiting family in the area we had two fun breakfast/brunch experiences. The food is fresh and good. They have unique craft cocktails and a nice variety of microbrews on tap, along with crazy good homemade ice cream. They leverage all if this with fun offerings, such as a Boozy Bananas Foster that was amazing! They also offer a traditional ice cream soda, that you can't find anymore anywhere else. Yum! Nothing like a great desert to wrap up a fun brunch experience. We sat in the outdoor patio and had great service. We'd love them to open a Moo's in Reno, NV!

Came here to eat and then check out the rv park for future use. I had the spaghetti and it was amazing! Hubby had the pastrami that has jalapeños and avocados and he liked it too! Had about 5 beers on tap. Bottle coors lights. Bathrooms super huge and clean.

The food was delicious! Service was excellent. Our waitress checked on us regularly. Made sure our drinks were refilled and checked to see if we needed anything. Very comfortable atmosphere with tvs and lots of room. We went during happy hours and I ordered the loaded potato skins from the happy hour menu. My grandson had the wild west cheeseburger and fries. Everything was delicious and beautifully prepared also generous servings. We will definitely be going back.

Had lunch due to my vehicle being serviced. Our waitress Diane was awesome and the food was delicious! The hubby was able to have a few cocktails also.

I ordered a burger and it was good, but I forgot to request some bacon with my cheeseburger, but that was my fault not theirs. The reason why there is 4 stars on service is because of the wait time for the food to arrive but I understand that it takes time. Very good place to eat

Right in the center of Crest RV mobile park is this outstanding restaurant, Crest Bar and grill. I’ve heard they have outstanding food and now I can attest they sure do. I came in with a friend, I ordered a hot pastrami sandwich, it had cheese, onions, pickles and mustard. You have a choice of sides, I had French fries. The sandwich was excellent, probably the best pastrami I’ve ever had. My friend ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich, he loved it. They also have a bar. Food is reasonable priced. Staff did a great job.

Awesome atmosphere! Exquisite beer, offcourse they make it! The "cherry on top" was the indescribable taste French fries with garlic cheese! A MUST TO TRY! Lengthwise has a very nice selection of beers they make in house with a variety of flavors and feels. The fried artichoke was bomb! We really enjoyed being her and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone wanting good conversation, flavorful beer, and good food!

Simply a great place to be. The food is great and the beer selection is likely to suit everyone even the beer aficionados. Corn hole and ping pong out back. Good music playing throughout the building. Staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. If you haven't seen the new brewery you better go check it out!

This was a good bar. But as of today, Its wak. How are us citizens only allowed in this establishment? I have a friend that is a foreigner and has now been told he can not come in. Security said it’s a new rule. Who else has been told this?

I came here tonight with my wife and it was 1 when they called last call and we ordered our drink. Not even a second later they start telling us to chug our drink and get out. If your gonna rush us out and not even give us five minutes to finish and be rude, just don't do last call if your trying to close exactly at 1. I used to come here all the time and felt welcome but it's just not the same no more. If you're trying to leave early don't make your customers buy drinks and rush them to get out. If you're planning to drink here during the week just leave at 1 and don't order anything past that because they'll just try kicking you out regardless on what you buy.

Mint Bar is good to chill out with friends. Backside there's open sitting area also available if you would like to peace instead of loud music inside the bar.

I have been going to the Mint for years. Dated the owners daughter back in the early 80's. She broke her leg in two or three places riding my skateboard. Her Dad was not happy. And over the years he gave me a hard time about it in fun. Bud has passed and is missed. He left the bar to his son Walt. He has kept it the same and it feels the same as it did the first time I walked in. The beer is cold and cheap. There is one FREE pool table for paying customers. There is an outdoor smoking area outback and they have a great jukebox!

As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. This place is expensive, but, the food, service, and atmosphere makes it well worth it. The Botanist is a Bar and Grill, I don't know if that is right. I think it should be a Grill and Bar because the food outshines the alcohol any day of the week. My Server was great, very nice and very attentive. I have been to The Botanist twice. I have not been disappointed neither time. I eat only Vegan since December 1, 2024 and choices are few in Bakersfield. However, I was told about The Botanist and I am glad I went. The first time I got the Vegan Smash Burger and Fries. Glory be, it was great. This last time, I got the Vegan Tacos and Vegan Loaded Fries. They put the Smash Burger to shame. My friends got the regular Loaded Fries, a Chicken Burger and a Smash Burger. They loved their meal. I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE BOTANIST.

First time here & as soon as you walk in, you are greeted with an awesome bar! Indoor & patio seating, we decided to sit outside which is a really nice patio area, totally private and quiet from outside noise. Our server was very attentive & placed our order immediately, there was not too long of a wait for our order. Our smash burgers were delicious, as our cocktails were on point. Definitely recommend this place for cocktails, the bartender tonight was amazing!

It's a beautiful nostalgic place with french vintage decor and an inviting vibe. The only one thing I would say they need to improve is attention to the customers..too many times I'm waiting more than 30 min to get someone at my table to start with the first drink...other than, I enjoy dining here.

Food quality is pretty top notch for Bakersfield. Great ambiance and the drinks were really good. Plenty of parking available via street or their lot. Food/Drink- 5 stars Crunchy shrimp burger- this was really good with a good amount of shrimp to go with the batter. Great hearty meal to go with a nice cocktail Lady Lavender- simple but really well mixed. I really enjoyed my meal and drink Service- 5 stars Servers were all pretty attentative despite the busy weekend Bottom Line Love the revitalization of Downtown Bakersfield with more modern restaurants. Been here a few times and it's such a neat spot to take people. Super vibesy inside and lots of fun drinks: alcohol selection is as expected of a bar and mocktails are equally good. Flatbread with the olive tapenade and tzatziki is incredible. Smash burger, challah french toast, and fish and chips are wonderful. The chicken sandwich is a little lackluster and contrary to its description, is not spicy at all. That said, overall a solid place.

I’ve been visiting this library for months now to use its extensive eBook collection. I requested assistance in setting up access on my device, and the staff was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. They guided me through the process, and now I can easily borrow eBooks from home. The library’s digital services are top-notch, offering a great range of modern titles and classics. As for value, it’s hard to beat free access to such a vast collection of both physical and digital books. This library truly offers everything a reader could want!

Great library, very good place to volunteer. Personally feel great volunteering with them. They the best books you may not find elsewhere, you can search for a book online and staff will also help you. They also provide free wifi. Separate children section which have lots of books, small play area, lots of toys for kids. Library also conducts many other programs which will help people to develop their skill set.

My rating is for the actual building. The book selection is great for all ages, however, it smells so bad inside. As soon as you walk inside the strong odor of urine hits you. Thr carpet, tables, and chairs are grimey. I noticed people sleeping on the second floor and it smelled bad there too, specifically like rotten eggs and urine. I understand we have a homeless problem but can the county atleast hire some maintenance workers to sanitize the building?

My kids love going to listen to the stories and playing with the toys 🧸 they always beg me to take them their....I got them a library card so the can check out the books 📚

First off, the librarian was so kind and helpful. I really wanted it to be a great experience given that but unfortunately this is not a safe place for families or children. I am pregnant and have two toddler children and just to get from my car to the inside of the facility was not safe. The homeless population in the parking lot let alone in the facility was saddening. It’s obviously a public library so that means everything is public, including the restrooms which I would not recommend going in or using for safety and cleanliness reasons. The carpet and toys in the kids area were very dirty unfortunately. We were meeting a teacher there and it was just an uncomfortable situation while waiting between the homeless population and the cleanliness of the area we were in. Again, I will say that the staff were kind and helpful but overall I will not be returning to this library and would highly recommend you think twice about taking your kids there, especially if you don’t have a male figure with you. My toddler son and I were approached walking out to our car by a homeless man and was not a good situation. I have compassion for all people however there is a real danger in all of this knowing that this population suffers from mental illness and drug abuse in combination with being in desperate times. It’s time we protect individuals that are actually using the facility in the proper manner. I hope this changes in the future!

I enjoy coming here for the Tuesday and Thursday 10:30am kids stuff. There are a lot of kids who show up, and they even feed them around 3pm M-F. My son loves the elevator and going up and down the stairs. HOWEVER for some reason some of the parents with TINY children under 2, leave their babies for staff and other parents to take care of while they do whatever and aren't watching. The library staff are NOT teachers or babysitters, they are staff, putting books away and answering questions! This really bothers me, toddlers wandering around with glue sticks and choking on crayons. Idk what is wrong with these parents, seems like they are hoping their kids get kidnapped or die. Finally, yes, there are homeless people outside, but there are also a crap ton of people walking in and out, I've never had an issue.

Library needs to be remodel. This place is big. Alot of seating and books available.

I like going to this place i always have a great Time and whoever goes with me does as well! But just be cautious of people and just be responsible theres been cops around that area so just be smart when you go out and drink ! But the bud light bottles are $4 each And im not sure of the other drinks The bartenders are very nice!

Jacob is a really good bartender. They usually serve you pretty fast and you'll have an overall good time here! The Dj and live performances are pretty great too. Unfortunately I will not becoming back to this establishment because of their security. One of their security got very physical with me because I mindlessly walked out with a glass of water. It was a male and I'm a female, it really was unacceptable and I should've made it a bigger issue about it. But I decided to just spend my money and time elsewhere. Their security really needs some more training, they are basically screaming for a lawsuit the way it is now!!

5 stars for the other bartenders and dj who were awesome on 05/26/22. Tho Shamari who I have known being an individual of the downtown scene for years. which we have never seen eye to eye but me as a customer was able to keep my composure causing no issue for him. then he decided to talk to security and get me kicked out for no apperant reason asides personal things from 5 or more years ago. very immature and insulting. I hope the Rileys company starts allowing better individuals in its industry.

Honestly used to love coming on Saturdays but the dj has no perception of the room he will literally see people dancing and switch the entire genre of the music I’ve never wanted to punch someone one so bad as the dj on Saturdays

It’s a bar I rosedale The problem lies with the staff They handed my credit card to someone else, then when I asked about where my card was , they were super rude and defensive. I was trying to be polite but they were saying it was my fault and to call the bank for fraud. I have been to dozens of places around Bakersfield but the staff here was so rude I couldn’t believe it. The venue is not that bad and the location is fine. But I could not believe how rude and dismissive they were about my credit card being given to the wrong person. I now have to contact my bank to cancel my card

Didn’t try the food Went on a Saturday night Slow night, but yet took the bartender 15 min to look over and greet and ask for a drink order, she was entertaining guests maybe a regular with conversation, the crowd is very laid back jeans and sneakers, not a place to go if you want to dress up.

All employees were welcoming. The host that sat us very respectful. It was pretty busy, and we sat on 1 couch, 3 of us. Friend sat and was poked with a metal pick from a drink that some rude customer had let behind. Brought it up to the hostess, and he apologized proudly and offered some snacks as an apology as well. Dark chocolate covered pretzels and popcorn, delicious ! Drinks were visibly appealing and were good. When another area opened up, the hostess came and asked if we wanted to move since it was roomier for us. We did. Not too loud, but somewhat. Cute place to have a drink and not deal with extreme loud music.

Great hidden gem. This place makes some of the best drinks in town. The venue is small but cozy and warm. My favorite is the flor de amor not to sweet and great if you want something tasty. Miami nights is another good drink I enjoy.

Foxtail lounge is a touch of class to Bakersfield nightlife! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and service. Cocktails are priced reasonably and tasteful. We enjoyed chatting it up with Lily, who let us invent a drink for the night, You Wanna Berry Martini. Her recipe and it was delicious! We also enjoyed an Espresso Martini. Dress to impress! Thank you Foxtail Lounge.

This place is the PERFECT date night location. The music is exactly the right volume, the lighting is dim and cozy, the couches are very comfortable, and the drinks are delicious. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town!

tldr: Comfy spot with a warm feel and variety of drinks. 5/5 Coming in it's easy to get the vibe that it's much bigger on the inside. From my count I saw about six lounges that could fit anywhere between 8-12 people on large comfortable couches. Though I attended with a group of 3. The menu was just varied enough to let you find something you'd like, but not so large that it was overwhelming. The staff were nice to chat with about our preferences. The prices make it feel like a once-in-a-while venue, rather than a regular spot. Still, I'm looking forward to that next time.

Chill vibe, accomplishes the feeling like you've stepped out of Bako into a very classy, modern tropical themed, velvet-couched lounge. Cool dude wiping down tables and chatting with customers, we ended up finding out, was the Owner! Now that's legit when you're working with your team. What a cool example of a Boss. Both he and Kristoff (reservation manager) were very kind, personable and welcoming. Would go there again for sure!

Wow! This place screams artistry and class. The mixologist knew her craft well. We ordered the Lost Lady, Strawberry Cartier, Blackberry Sunset, Spicy Havana, and El Dorado. All of us liked all of the drinks. That's saying something. This place is a Bakersfield gem.

Loved it. The staff is so kind. The interior decor is amazing. The prices are affordable. The restroom is always impecable. The atmosphere is so cozy and harmonious it makes you never want to leave. I most definitely recommend it for a social gathering or some well deserved me time.

Great curated wines from all over and knowledgeable friendly staff. We did the blind tasting, tasted quite a few unique amazing wines, and bought a few bottles. Highly recommend.

Awesome place to EXPERIENCE wine and to try new wines you normally wouldn't try. I would highly recommend making this a stop to sip some wine from small wineries you've never heard of that you're sure to like.

Okay. This was a fantastic venue! This place has all the elements of greatness for sure! Buck Ownens was a great singer, and he left behind a great restaurant. This place is a stop off for all up and coming country singers. This is also the Place that Garth proposed to Trisha... [Garth alert]. Food was above and beyond expectations! They served the best baby back ribs of any I have ever had! Service was good, and the waitress was nice. Can't wait for a next time!

My husband initially mentioned Buck Owens Crystal Palace while we were dating, stating his intention to bring me to this location. We are now celebrating our wedding anniversary here. Although the food and music are superior, the service from “Sierra” was deficient and disappointing! We experienced a prolonged delay in receiving our beverages and an additional wait for her to take our order; it is worth noting that the next table received service first, despite our prior arrival. Sierra made an error with my order, neglected to place my husband's order, and exhibited an unfavorable demeanor when presenting the bill. We would have preferred a different server, our night would have been perfect!

☀️ Buck Owens' Crystal Palace Made it back to Bakersfield! The Crystal Palace is for sale, hopefully it will remain open, but there is a chance it will be closed for good soon. The idea for the Buck Owens Crystal Palace originated in the mid-1980s. Buck spent most of his early career performing in small, smoke-filled bars and honky-tonks around the country. He wanted a high-class place for country-western music to be performed. Buck also wanted a place where he could "be himself". There is a museum with numerous memorabilia throughout his career. Live music and great food. And of course the buck-mobile hanging behind the bar. Once made for Elvis, Buck used it in The Streets of Bakersfield video.

First Timer! Dinner date with the wife. Great service provider Skylar, sweet, patient, kind and quick. Food was delicious! Will be back.

A club atmosphere with dining and seating on many different levels to view the stage for many different music venues. Nice atmosphere and facilities and the dining area is clean and offers great service. The parking is protected by security guards on electric bikes who will follow you to your car, unless a show has emptied the building and everyone is leaving. The venue offers a gift shop and a museum of country music (Buck Owens of Hee Haw fame) the only negative would be the acoustics in the very back areas where the surrounding walls prevented clear music sounds reaching out ears properly 😔... Fortunately, a table was cleared and I was able to moved up to hear past the offending wall enclosure. 👍

Enjoyed this venue very much. If you're a country music fan this place is for you! So much memorabilia all over the place. Great picture opportunities. There is not a bad seat in the house. The environment and crowd was great. Brought my teenagers to see Charlie Crockett and we all had a great time. Tickets are affordable. We did not eat as kitchen closed at 10. I would see a show here again!!

Amazing place to dine at. First time me and my wife came here and it was definitely worth it. We got to see the famous Bakersfield sign, and also loved the museum part of the restaurant. The food was heavenly, i had a chicken fried steak sandwich, which was huge, and fries. Wife got a chicken fried steak meal, with baked potato, and loved it. Started off with some onion rings, which were divine. Ended the meal with chocolate cake, and oh boy, im glad i saved room for it. This place was really amazing, live music, cool bar has a Cadillac behind it, museum to wonder around and check out, made for a fun night. Definitely will be back here again soon.

This place is always good. Been here a few times, first time reviewing it. Last time we came in, sat in the bar area, our order was taken in a timely manner. The server was vert polite and knowledgeable of the menu. Food came out promptly, and hot. Definitely would recommend this place

Service is good. The ambiance is cool...knotty pine and ski themed. Very Lake Tahoe. This place needs a lot of food help. It's REALLY bad. First I ordered their roast chicken. The breast and wing were overcooked to the point of being "chicken jerky". I sent it back and asked the waiter if I could just have a medium rare steak. It came back to the table super well done. For $46. I sent that back and left....never to return!

We haven't been here in years. Grandson was selling fundraising tickets so we bought $50 worth. Decor is still the same. We had a drink at the bar while we waited for our table. The waitress was very attentive and our food was better than I expected. My steak was really good. Going to have to go back to try something else. Also they have the best Railroad Shrimp I've ever had.

I was so excited to introduce my parents to this restaurant last Sunday and although the food was great my mom’s experience was bad. We were greeted by the host and seeing plenty of open tables she led us to the far back. Both my parents are seniors and it was obvious they both walk slowly for their age. First sign I noticed at the steps was small and said Watch your steps. I looked down to see the floors looks a bit warm down and in an instant my mother slipped so badly hitting her head on the wood of the bench. The guest sitting in the area were quick to see if my mother was okay and asked to help me pick her up. The host said she would bring an ice bag once my mom stood up and had a huge bump on her head. A few minutes later she received a bag of ice yet the host did not notify management nor our waiter and so there sat my mom in pain and swollen. My dad insisted we stay. Our host never brought us menus until I asked for it. The twenty minutes in another waiter passed by and saw we had no bread and butter. He was kind enough to make sure we had some. This fall was so severe after all she’s now seeking medical attention. The food was great but I feel it doesn’t take a lot to just follow up with a manager and show empathy for a senior who just fell in your restaurant.

My wife and I came for happy and got the calamari and railroad camp shrimp. The food was great. The calamari is a steak and is the most tender squid I have ever had. The shrimp wasn't as crisp as usual but still good. Our waiter Sergio was awesome. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The best waiter we have ever had here. This guy will take care of you. The only downside was that all they played on the house radio was country music. Not a fan. Overall great experience. Happy hour prices are a really good deal.

I came in for lunch today with my friend. This is the restaurant at the Padre Hotel. Our waitress introduced herself and told me her name was Kimberly. Kimberly did an outstanding job, she deserves praise. I ordered their basic cheeseburger with fries. It was pretty good. It is small and way overpriced at $18 but nevertheless it was good, just not worth $18. My friend ordered the sliders, and he said they were very good. Lunch and the service were exceptional. Downtown is filled with restaurants everywhere. I hope management takes note and realizes that their cheeseburger is overpriced .

We had a very decent experience. You walk into the hotel and the bar is on your left. Big bar with comfy leather chairs. Tons of high top tables with servers to help you. Open seating. The menu does not have the vegetarian stuff clearly labeled. They have 3 items that are labeled vegetarian but then they also have other veggie items not labeled…. Like the pretzel bites and margarita pizza. We even double checked with the kitchen, items have cheese and butter which for a vegetarian is fine, nothing is vegan on the menu. Decent service, good margs, good happy hour

We had a nice time at this small restaurant. It's located directly at the bar in The Padre Hotel. We had the Burger and Truffle Mushroom Carbonara. The pasta was very good and something that i never had before, the Burger was good as well. My only note is the patty itself needs to be alittle bit bigger, the bun and condiments over take the pattys size. Overall had a good time would recommend.

The manager kicked us out for having a service animal and then not believing me when I told her she was. Super rude lady even though the rest of the staff sat us no problem and gave us service no problem. There were maybe 6 ppl there so who were we bothering? Do not go here!!!!!!!!!!’

I like the Padre hotel. And having a drink in the bar is fine. But the food was terrible. I rarely give a negative review but I would want someone to warn me. My husband ordered fried chicken. He got a tiny (literally) drumstick and a small thigh. For $22. PLUS, it was way overcooked. AND, we waited 40 minutes from the time we ordered until food came. Very few patrons so that was strange. Very disappointing.

I went there last night for a special dinner with my son. No one greeted us for some time and finally tracked down a server to ask how / where to sit. After being seated our server proceeded to tell us about all the things they were out of… it was about a third of the menu. Even when we did place our order one of those items ended up not being available, as well as the appetizer we wanted. We settle on the salmon, but after 40 minutes of not getting food, or seeing our waitress, I had to track her down again. After checking when our food would be ready, she said 4 minutes… it took 20. When the food came out it was wrong, vegetables were ice cold, and the salmon tasted like a frozen dinner from Walmart. Horrible experience, terrible food, completely mismanaged. Will not return.

Came in for first time a few days ago, and was really glad i finally did. Staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean and well organized, the Mexican theme was really fun as well. I got an original burrito with asada, and it was really good, my wife got the fajitas, and i tried one of them and they were amazing. The rice and beans were really good as well. Definitely would recommend this place, and will be back again soon to try the buffet they have, it looked good when we were there.

To start with, there are VEGAN options here. That being said, this is an authentic Mexican restaurant serving GREAT food. I had the Soyrizo Tacos, refried Beans, Black Beans, Chips and Salsa. Everything Vegan, including the cheese. Totally awesome. My Server, Tony, was perfect. Very attentive and nice. The atmosphere was Spanish all the way and perfect. I highly recommend this place.

We came in for the buffet special, and every food option was absolutely delicious. They've now added an outdoor grill station where a server is making hot dogs, sliders, and even Mexican-style street corn, which is such a great addition✨! The customer service was genuinely the best I’ve ever experienced. I truly mean that. The staff went above and beyond to make the experience memorable for both me and my partner. They offered us a variety of drink options, including champagne 🥂. And we also got a sweet surprise, when they brought the check, they handed us ice cream to take with us for the road 😭❤️. I 100000% recommend this place. We will be coming backkkk.

As a vegan, I was THRILLED with not only the options, but with the quality and true yumminess of my food. I got the Voodoo fries and loved them. My husband loved his chicken wings but regrets not getting something with the red mole because he tried our friend’s dish and was blown away. Drink selection was amazing! We will definitely be coming back when we return to Bakersfield.

We then ordered the pork belly tacos, the Philly Steak sandwich, and the shrimp tacos. My pork belly was delicious. The other guests loved their food as well. This is a return spot.they have live music. Wine Wednesday, bring your own bottles. The 1st is free then a $12 corkage fee after that. The place is clean and the restrooms were too.

We chose the outdoor seating because it was a really nice day. I felt like the menu was a little slim but maybe it’s because we went during brunch time. The was good. In my opinion, they’re not too vegan friendly other than a salad or choosing from side dishes. All in all, it was a good experience.

Delicious food and a cool environment, but I can’t give that fifth star. I went with a party of people for a reservation that was placed a week prior. We weren’t seated until nearly 45 minutes after the reservation time. The waiting area is small, but made smaller when musicians are trying to set up and it was tight. But the food was amazing! Everyone shared their orders and we had a great time after we were seated. My husband ordered a popular burger but swallowed it up before I could take a pic. I got the beef stroganoff, which had a creamy, spiced sauce and perfectly tender beef. The appetizers we got, poutine and the bruschetta, were amazing! But the drink I ordered was missing the emulsified basil and the dehydrated strawberry garnish. When I asked the waitress if I had the right drink, she said it was correct, just missing the garnish. I explained it was missing more than just the garnish and she fed me an excuse about the drink being premade so “it just comes like that.” I didn’t want to make a fuss so I let it go but there wasn’t even an offer to have it remade correctly. As dumb as I felt that encounter was, the rest of the meal was so delicious I will 100% return for some good food. But maybe I’ll stick to beer or wine next time.

Beautiful establishment, food is really good,atmosphere is perfect 👌🏿. The service was kinda trash idk if Sunday had to do anything with it. But I made reservations online and still had to wait 25 extra minutes due to the young ladies they had at check-in. Neither of them greeted incoming customers nor did they ask has anyone been seen or checked in. Literally had to flag down an employee to let them know I had reservations &still someone failed to update the reservation list 🤦🏿‍♂️ other than that little hiccup the place is a hidden GEM 💎

What a gem! The food was incredible. We had the ribeye and porkchop. Both cooked to perfection. The ribeye had a wood fired taste and the porkchop was very tender and flavorful. Enjoyed with a bottle of Chianti and finished with a tiramisu dessert. The staff were all very nice, we never had an empty glass, you feel like everyone is family. Shout out to Ariana and Ray. Both are very pleasant and provided great service. Mario, the bartender, makes a mean Old Fashioned. An overall incredible experience. This is a five star joint 👍

On a recent visit to Bakersfield, some local friends suggested Mama Mia, saying it was one of their go-to spots. Excellent suggestion. I had the spaghetti Bernese, which came with a delicious sauce, sliced pieces sausage and grilled onions and peppers—all topped with thin slices of parmesan cheese. It was a tasty choice, made even better with a nice glass of house Chianti. The waiter and staff were attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was great.

Great service in store and some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. They check on you frequently enough where you don’t feel forgotten but not too often where it gets annoying. Pretty much perfectly balanced. Meat tasted high quality and cooked to maximum deliciousness. Not cheap, but worth the money.

The cocktail was good and the ribeye was very well prepared and temperature was perfect. Just the right amount of fat. Will definitely return if I end up in Bakersfield for work again.

We ate here for the first time shortly before we moved out of state. It was incredible, and had us thinking about it still from across the country. We visited town a few weeks ago and stopped by for dinner. It did not disappoint. The food is cooked with such care and attention, you can taste it. The employees are very friendly, helpful and attentive. My mouth waters just thinking about the food. The steaks are cooked to perfection, nice and tenderized. The scallops are tender and fresh every time. And most recently, we tried the halibut, which was a special that day. It was flaky and delicious. I definitely recommend Mamma Mia to anyone who is interested.

We tried the Patty Melt with fries and the buffalo burger with fries. The Patty Melt was a big patty but the buffalo burger seemed a little small but both tasted great and the buffalo was my favorite. Bigger buffalo burger would have made it PERFECT!! The price is good it was $38.97 for two meals with sodas for lunch. Plenty of parking. It has a biker bar/restaurant feel, nice and cozy. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had music playing and a tv on in the background. Our food came out in a timely manner and we had drinks served to us immediately. Great service There is bar seating, table seating and outside covered patio seating. We sat at the inside tables on a 99 degree day and it was cool and comfortable. The Indian statue is right out front and you can't miss it. I would recommend Ethel's old Corral Cafe, if you're in the Bakersfield area stop and have a bite to eat. Next time I want to try the cobbler.

I've been wanting to go to this cafe for quite some time now, and it didn't disappoint. I had the buffalo burger!! very good, (recommend) Buffalo meat very lean and tasty. Service was excellent!! After we ate went went to the outside patio to listen to live music. Had a couple of beers and just enjoyed a sunday afternoon.

Fun little spot! We went for Taco Tuesday + to see the live music. The band was so fun and made the venue come to life! The food was solid, definitely a good deal for taco Tuesday. It took a longgggggg time for our food to be delivered—almost an hour from when we ordered. I didn’t notice as much because I was enjoying the music, but that was really the only thing I thought could have been better. Definitely a cool spot—I loved the vibe and that so many people there were regulars. We’ll be back!

Nice stop at the end of the Kern River bike trail. After 15 miles of peddling, I was ready for a snack and refreshments. Great service and good food. I had the Bison burger and fries with a tall Iced tea (free refills) for just under $20.

Not worth the price. The food and service were both good. But for the price, it should have been phenomenal. The garlic butter for the bread was too salty. The chicken noodle soup was good but also too salty. By the time the soup got there, we were out of bread. It did not get refilled until right before the main course. The same goes for drinks. The lamb was mediocre. Typically, the lamb fat has a ton of delicious flavor, but this one tasted off, almost rancid. I've never experienced that ever before. The steak was much better than the lamb. The mushroom sauce went well with the steak. The loaded potato and veggies were good but nothing special.

This was a reservation for six on a Friday afternoon at 17:30. It is very important that you make a reservation for dinner. Hours are limited, and the restaurant is well worth it. Samantha was our waitress for the entire dining experience. I absolutely enjoy when the person handling your table loves what they do. You could tell how much Samantha enjoyed her position. Samantha made our dining experience top-notch. We had a chance to speak with Chef Jason. He came to check on our table, making sure we were satisfied with our selections and to answer any questions we may have on the menu. Oh, Beth, you will hear more about her later on in this review. We ordered all four appetizers on the menu, which were stuffed mushrooms, shrimp cocktails, escargot, and the bruschetta. We were given two extra plates, stuffed mushrooms, mushrooms, and shrimp cocktails. This was given to us on the house by Chef Jason. We ordered the lemon drops, and every one that ordered ordered a second one. That is how tasteful they were. I ordered a bottle of the talosa Pinot Noir 1997, always a crowd pleaser. Moving on to the main course, we ordered the ribeye, chicken alfredo, and four dishes of the block fillet. The block fillet was topped with a gorgonzola cheese slice and then finished off with a balsamic drizzle. My guest stated that each filet was cooked perfectly to a medium consistency. Flavorful and melt in your mouth. The ribeye had a mushroom shallot cream sauce on top of it, with a hint of time. My ribeye was ordered medium, and it also was flavored extremely well, never once overpowered my palate. Cooked to a medium perfection. One of my guests ordered the chicken out Florence, which she stated was the best dish she has ever had. Chicken was nice and juicy full of flavor, and the pasta was perfectly al dente. She stated the sauce was rich in flavor but not heavy in her stomach. Moving on to dessert, we ordered two of each. The first was a South African pudding called malva, which does not contain chocolate. It contains apricots, and the way Beth has perfected this recipe leaves me speechless! I at first didn't want to taste it because I thought it was all fudge. After my guess were ranting and raving about how delicious it was, I had to try it. And I am so glad I did. A big round of applause to Beth for baking this dessert and making my life better for tasting it!! The cheesecake was good with the blackberries on top, and the turtle trifle was just as delicious. The dessert of the Malva is something I would literally stop by just to pick that up. It is a must try if you come here. If you come and have dinner here and do not order the malva pudding, you may end up with an empty little hole in your heart for never tasting it. I 100% did not have one bad bite of anything at this restaurant. I am so happy that I chose to have dinner here. The entire experience was top-notch. If you are in the area, make sure to make reservations and dine here. Don't forget that Malva pudding. This is a 10 out of 10, and I will return!

What a cool historic spot. Entrance literally is down an alley. Super dark inside with no windows. Thoughts it was strange how they required reservations, but eventually was explained it was to not overwhelm the kitchen. Very friendly service. Not usually a fan of a sauced steak, but The Block steak was delicious! Great cocktails, too.

What a great experience!!! Definitely in the alley and Google maps didn't drive us through it even though you can. You can also park in the alley for 1hr but our meal experience nearly lasted 2 hours due to drinks, appetizers, entree, dessert, and good conversation. The steak was like butter and the chicken was moist. We had the escargot and bruschetta appetizer. For dessert we had Malva!!! Ooh my goodness that was absolutely delicious and unexpected. Our waiter, Matthew, recommended it and I'm so glad we tried it. Something we've never had and will definitely order again. The chef was so kind to come out and speak with a few of the tables at the end of the night which made our evening.

I had my 15 year / wedding rehearsal here and it was just an amazing experience . We were able to use the banquet room in the back . The Chef was personable and came out to check on us . The waitress was amazing as well . She explained everything really well & we found out they are married . They both worked well with each other and us . We brought a lot of kids which I don’t think is normal for the restaurant but they accommodated us just the same . The food was literally to die for . Not a single dish that didn’t taste fresh and just down right delicious. I’ll definitely be back . Thank you for making my rehearsal dinner unforgettable.

Rib eye steak was fantastic. My friend had the veal and said he had never had such a big cut of veal. Great appetizer of stuffed mushrooms. And great service from our waitress. Well worth the drive in but a bit difficult to find the first time going. Worth the effort.

Came here for a quiet dinner and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was polite and the pace of the meal felt relaxed, which I appreciated. It’s the kind of place you go to when you want to slow down a little and enjoy your food without being rushed. I absolutely loved the Alfredo ala Florence, the mushrooms and tomatoes tasted fresh and delicious. Will definitely come back.

Customer service was good. The bacon cheeseburger was amazing. Also got the tritip dinner plate which was also good. The wait was maybe about 15 to 20 minutes. Pretty clean establishment.

The staff did not clean wipe down with any disinfectant any tables after use. The bus boy/or waiter did not even have a towel or rag to wipe it down my question what's going on in the kitchen. The food was good the patio was packed no social distancing no one but me had a mask on

I may be biased because I grew up coming here. But I LOVE this place! The laid back, fun, and welcoming atmosphere and the relaxed vibe is everything. Theres a daily drink special which is an added perk, and the drinks tend to be on the stronger side. I miss the chips and salsa bar though!

I loved this little out of the way place it was close to my home and the food and drink specials were great. I use to go to the one on Rosedale which is a lot bigger. There pina coladas were great along with there tequila sunrises. There food portions were large for the price.

Great place. I've had many business lunches there. Don't care too much for the crowd it draws in Thursday thru Saturday nights but if you work near by and want to drop in for lunch it's a definite WIN. Daily specials and I highly recommend White Fish Wednesdays. Chips and salsa while you wait can't be beat. With tons of fresh tortilla chips and several different types of salsa you can't go wrong.

Very Bad Service from the get go! Stood there for long time watching employees walking back and forth. When we finally got someone they forgot to put in our order. When we finally got our food my wife's chicken tacos were ice cold. My wife said something and they argued with her and told her it was because of the sauce and lettuce. We told them to just give us our check and we will never come back! They could care less! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!😡

Good food specials they usually include a drink. I like that you can order enough food individually or family style with still being reasonable priced. I see Jerry's Pizza as a local land mark. We went on a sold out night for Painting Labubu's great family time for all ages and we enjoyed the 80s music playing in the back ground.

They don’t tell you on the website that the stage is downstairs and there is no elevator. I made the stairs down and up again, but it wasn’t easy. Wasn’t offered any help with my walker.. Probably won’t be going back. I ordered the pizza just as the show was ending to go and it tasted like woodsmoke. I don’t know if that’s their thing but it did not taste good. The security were jerks while the lady behind the pizza counter was very nice. The bathroom is a long way from the stage.

Pizza was fire. It was the vegetarian and it did not disappoint. The fried zucchini was just the cherry on top. The only bad thing about the experience would be that the ac wasnt working. It was a hot June Saturday night.

My brother’s band played here quite a bit back in the 90’s so when he passed away recently, we immediately thought of Jerry’s to hold his Celebration of Life. The event could not have been better. The new owner was very accommodating by letting us come in early to set up and decorate. The food buffet was set up in a timely manner as well as the charcuterie boards on the bar. The bar was also fully stocked with all of the offerings we requested. The pastas, salad, and garlic bread we ordered were fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The service was also impeccable. We really appreciated that the staff wrapped our extra food for us to take home including the cookies we brought. Overall, having our brother remembered in such a perfect spot meant the world to us. Jerry himself even stopped by to pay his respects. We would absolutely recommend Jerry’s pizza to anyone needing a space for an event. Thank you and well done!

I am writing to report a very upsetting experience I had while picking up my pizza order from your store on [insert date and time]. I had been waiting for about 15 minutes when I went back to the counter to check on my order. A man, who I believe was the manager, came from the back and told me, in a rude tone, not to stand near the counter and to move away. I immediately stepped back and didn’t say a word. After I moved, he said “stupid” in a slow, quiet voice. I asked him, “Did you say stupid?” and he admitted that he did. He claimed it was because I was standing near the counter. It felt very disrespectful and insulting, especially because I did nothing wrong. I believe he thought I didn’t understand English, which is why he spoke to me in a slow and condescending way. His behavior felt not only rude but also discriminatory. I was simply waiting for my food like everyone else, and I did not deserve to be treated this way. I hope you will take this complaint seriously and make sure no customer is treated like this in the future.

I had a bad first experience. Unfortunately, I left my purse in the restroom. Only one person had went in behind me other than what seemed to be an employee who retrieved my purse. When I got my purse back, my debit/credit cards and cash were gone and someone already sent money through Apple Pay. I confronted the one person I saw go in after me but she denied to take anything. The manager claimed that person was a loyal customer and wouldn’t steal…I asked the manager for the surveillance footage and he said he texted the owner for it and was told the camera didn’t catch wherever I was sitting to see when I got up for the restroom…I was sitting at the bar. Mind you this is a small lounge, if you want to feel safe, this isn’t the place to go.

This is a high end establishment. They serve high end traditional drinks. The Mixologists are very knowledgeable! They make one of the best Lemon Drops I have ever had! They serve a minimal menu with cheese's and meats, salads and other like foods. But you can't get a burger here. Not their thing. It is quiet and living room comfortable. There is outdoor seating and smoking is allowed there. Great beer and wine selection.

Always great food here. The to go orders can be inconsistent in sizing, sometimes smaller than the portions given at the restaurant. But it's still great flavors. Waitresses are also hit and miss at times. Sometimes pleasant sometimes, they can come off kind of rude. But it's over all a great place to get a bite and drinks.

Mostly great, unless there’s an event. The small kitchen turns out delicious food but, it can take a while if they’re busy. Also the quality of the food can suffer if they are too busy. Reservations are recommended. The outside patio offers a nice ambience, but there’s only a concrete dance floor in front of the stage and seating is limited depending on what’s going on. Overall we love this little hidden gem, but there’s room for improvement during events. The staff are all top notch, and they give 110% with grace.

Okay, I’m not going to lie, I come here pretty often. Always a great drink, good food, friendly staff and great prices. Bartender’s Kieran, Grace and the other’s all do an outstanding job. The taco salad is very very good. Also the fish and chips are very good. I came by last week for lunch. Ordered the Cuban sandwich with garlic fries, wow, delicious. Let’s be honest, I come by often due to the wonderful food, great drinks and excellent staff.

This seemingly ordinary neighborhood bar has surprisingly high quality and very tasty food. We had the Gourmet Burger and Street Tacos which were delicious! The Pourhouse is known for great live music which did not disappoint on our visit. Plan to go again and again. Great find!

McKenna was our sever she is so sweet and kind and explained things to us so good she knows what she's doing. It was our 1st time here, and honestly, we loved it here!! Such a great ambiance, and honestly , we will definitely be coming back

It's a friendly place run by family who knows what good comfort food is all about. I suggest you try the Chicken Alfredo the chicken is so moist and tender it melts in your mouth. On top of that the owners are great people and will make you feel like part of the family if I had the money to do so I would never cook again that's how good their cook is. So whether you're new to town or one of the locals this restaurant is always the perfect spot for any occasion or if you're just looking for some good food with a great atmosphere. In which case 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 is not enough of a rating.

I would go back. Nothing super impression but its a cool little bar. I had the tri tip dip per an online menu. It was great in my opinion. My first interaction with a bartender was Brittany. I was too scared to get out of the car. So I missed the band 😭There was too many sketchy homeless people looking in car windows & walking up and down the street . There was no parking on Narducciis street so I had to park around the corner. I decided to go home. I'm sure Narducciis is GREAT. Heard nothing but good about the restaurant. But the homeless were too much that night.

We watched Zack from 6pm till 8pm on a Tuesday the 27th work the bar and serve patrons while his help was caught several times in the bathroom on her phone. We told him and didn’t wanna cause waves but this is unacceptable.

A great pub! Prices aren't bad and the theme of this location is motorcycles which is pretty awesome Beer as usual is always great, usually get the zues imperial or a cider myself. The burgers and fries are super good, My personal favorite is the bleu cheese burger with a side of fries and ranch 😎

While I can't comment on the food, this is a great spot to stop and grab a beer. We had been on the road from Kingman and decided to stop in here after a stop at the park to play. Bakersfield parks are sketchy, so we figured a brewery was probably the best bet for being kid friendly and safe. Sure enough we got here right after they opened and the staff was super friendly. Really great space indoors and out, we were glad to be able to sit outdoors with our dog. Really cool layout and I was shocked to see a Bultaco motorcycle inside as those aren't seen often. Great beer selection, I had a hard time deciding. We grabbed the pumpkin ale since it was seasonal and a hazy ipa. Our daughter was stoked on the root beer float they had too so everyone was quite happy. Good beers, neat location, and super friendly staff. I'd definitely stop by here again and try some food since the menu looked really good.

Just stopping on our way back from Vegas, discovered such an oasis in the desert! Great beer and great food, the highlight was a tie between the beer and the jalapeno bread pastrami sandwich! Super fire! Also great to be welcomed by an amazing staff.

I’ve always had a good meal here. Great food, service and nice employees. My go to sandwich here is their Tri-Tip sandwich, it’s always delicious. They do not serve hard liquor here, beer and wine only. If you are in the the mood for some good beer and some great food this is your place.

Just tried this restaurant and to be honest the food was Amazing. Customer service second to none. The only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is because the glass of water that was given to my wife was dirty from the rim. It had some kind of caramel like residue. We told our waitress and she immediately replaced it with a clean one. Sides and meats were amazing. The drinks are also extremely tasty.

Went out for dinner with the wife, first time here. Great service. I ordered a NY Steak medium rare it came out medium, still very juicy and well seasoned. The owners came over and were very accommodating and went above and beyond to make up for the steak. Honestly they went beyond what I would have to make the experience better. I was very pleased at the service they provided and the food was still very very good. Definitely will Be visiting again because of the owners and the atmosphere. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Had my 45th Birthday Celebration. Our waitress Samantha was okay. She walked passed us a few times with asking if we needed anything. The owner is amazing. I like how he walked to each table and introduced himself to all customers at dinner. The entire staff from start to finish was amazing. Just a great experience for my first time.

The food was wonderful. We had a great time. The staff was lovely. I gave it a four star just for the price. We took our son and his wife so it’s four of us and it was $330 before tip. It’s a lovely experience, but I don’t think we’ll come back just because of the expense.

We just went for the lunch special and I gotta say for the money we left satisfied. Variety of meats and snacks brought to our table were really good. I don't like lamb but I'm sure those who do would enjoy it. The did bar has a great variety are way too much shrimp. We would all go back.

The place is super pretty on the inside but the bartender was absolutely hammered and messed up all of our drinks(it was literally a vodka redbull idk how you can mess that up) it has so much potential if the bartender can stay sober. Some how tequila got in our drinks and I’m allergic and when my wife went to go ask him if he had put it in there he had an attitude with her and said “ uh no? It’s a VODKA redbull” that was right after admitting he messed them up. Will never come here again.

Have not been in the silverfox until awhile, When Gloria owe it I worked weekend beautiful atmosphere and customers.. well today a friend and I walked in there, seem nicer remodel.. Asked of the girls about there menu of alcohol drinks that is posted online he had a Amaretto Sour she said yes put on the menu indicated it was $7 margarita Cadillac was also indicated $7. $6 on Midori Sour will both ladies indicated there was no website for this location show the picture of the Silver Fox decor and everything and ending up charging us 20 bucks for two drinks that were amaretto Sour was watered down and margarita Cadillac stuff with limes in the drink with no grenadine added to it nastiest drink I ever paid 20 bucks for. And the girls were kind of tipsy!! Will I be back no I will not!

I hadn't been to the Silverfox in quite a while. I recently went and had such a great time. The atmosphere was chill and a lot of fun. Fausto was the bartender, and always made sure I was taking care of. He was so nice and made my night!!

Since I moved here, I see the bar is a very local community bar that thrives on great bartenders and atmosphere. The only change would be a great Cabernet and some Chardonnays. The most important is an espresso machine to make an amazing espresso martinis. Thank you for the amazing welcoming bartenders Shelina, Ryan. Lexi, Karen, Hedi, and Courtney.

Yk I went in because I felt the need to. But the people in there from the staff to the customers have to the kindest people you'll ever meet. They look out for you constantly and they dont judge what anyone is going through. I'll definitely be going again Great experience.

I’ve been in town for a year, and this bar is the highlight. My favourite bartender is Courtney. She is one if not the best bartender I’ve ever met. She makes fantastic drinks and is honest, loves her job, and genuinely cares about her customers. VIP lounge is one of the highlights of the town and Courtney’s service makes it just that much better. God bless yall. :)

The venue itself is stunning (what more can you expect from an old church?). They had live music, strong & yummy cocktails, and fantastic service. Our server Jonathan was attentive, kind and a lot of fun. I was hoping the waffle itself would be a little more special, however the whipped cream and berries we're so fresh it was so declicious! The salmon & black rice was pretty good too. They had a special menu for mother's day brunch, so I was a little disappointed I didn't get to try out their chipotle chicken, but I will definitely be back! Service started off great with apps and drinks but when it came time to serve lunch for our party of 40, it was very disorganized. Also, we had to remind our server of our dessert almost an hour and a half after our lunch was served.

The ambiance here is amazing. It's an old church that was turned into a nice restaurant. This place is great for lunch and business meeting. I've also had dinner here, which was good as well. I bring a lot of clients here for business lunches and it never disappoints. The Chicken Caesar and Rancher Steak are my favorite items on the menu. The service is good but it can get really busy for lunch. So, expect a little wait to get your food if it's a busy day at the restaurant.

I tried this place with my husband a little while ago and we were pleasantly surprised to learn a lot of the menu items are like an Indian fusion. We aren’t big fans of live music, so we chose to eat outside. It was in shade, the menu was full of really good items, and the bar was impressive. I was happy with a mango margarita while my husband enjoyed a good coffee. He got the breakfast wrap and I got 4 different waffle flavors. We loved our food and we loved the environment. But it wasn’t that busy and our waitress didn’t come around as often as we wanted. It wasn’t awful but we did have to wait an unusually long time for to-go boxes and our check. We’re exciting to come back to try something from the dinner menu. If you’re a fan of fresh and strong flavors, definitely come by Harrington House!

My wife and I can't get enough of this place! When you visit, you MUST get the Badmash fries, they taste amazing and that's BEFORE you dip them in the house gravy, which is even better! We get the Kheer, Sliders and Randy's Patty Melt too (luckily, the fries are on the side of the Patty Melt) and always end up sharing our orders with each other because they have so much taste. My favorite drink is the Espresso Martini, Karen makes them perfectly! She's always there to serve us and definitely gives a vibe of an old friend happy to see you again. Every time we walk out, we can't wait until next time. Definitely worth a visit!

This restaurant is adorable. The best food and the best service we’ve had in days. We have eaten in 8 states in the last 7 days. Ethan, the bartender and our waiter, gave us great service. We had a fresh generous salad, a charcuterie board, delightful cocktails, amazing fries, the best quesadilla and the prettiest presentation.

Beautiful interior, chandeliers we chic, loved the inside outside concept where the bar was connected to both. Food - 9/10. Everything we ordered was delicious. I only knocked a point, because I ordered a medium hamburger but it looked to be a bit on the well side. However still delicious and the spice point was right on. Drinks were innovative and delicious. Mixing the Indian flavors was a win! Service - 10/10. Sarah was our server and she was great! Very attentive. She made sure we were taken care of. Overall experience was great and we'll definitely be back! Next time we'll make sure to bring our friends and family.

I’ve been coming to this bar for a long time and have always been respectful to both the bartenders and the bouncers. I’ve never caused any issues, never been removed, and always tried to support this place. Unfortunately, that all changed with my most recent visit. The bouncers here have always seemed to be on a bit of a power trip, often disrespecting people without cause—but I let it slide, until it happened to me. Instead of simply asking me to leave or speaking to me like a person, a bouncer came up behind me, grabbed both my shoulders, and shoved me out. There was absolutely no reason for it to be physical. To make matters worse, I have a very big issue with being touched by people I don’t know. Being handled like that—without warning—was jarring and completely unacceptable. What used to be one of my go-to spots is now a place I’ll never return to. I won’t be recommending it to anyone. No one should have to experience that kind of treatment. Edit: Asking me to leave would have sufficed. Physically grabbing a non violent person from behind was unnecessary. I have a bruise on my arm from him grabbing me. The situation did not warrant that kind of force.

Great place. Depending on the time you want to show up. Weekends is the the best but week days are chill too. Pool is the amateur moment. Beer pong is also the amateur moment. 🤪

Really cute little spot, the outdoor seating was really big but it’s extremely hot during the day. I got the mango slushee and that was delicious. The service was great too. The only complaint I have is that the large charcuterie board was more like a medium size. For $55 I would’ve expected something bigger. The food was delicious but I was there would be more options for food too.

Great atmosphere! Staff is very friendly and everyone there always seems to be having a great time. The backyard vibe makes it very comfortable and chill.

Went to have wine/beer and a cigar on the patio. Website advertises the owners own humidor to enjoy. Went and it was literally a small wooden box with 10 cigars. Thats fine, but be transparent in your advertising. Good selection of wine/beer, but service was pretty lackluster.

Such a cute, fun place! It was my first time there and was beyond pleasantly surprised! And it was "movie night", Ferris Bueller. Drinks were delish but the added bonus was The Teppanyaki Guys were parked out front for a yummy dinner! Ladies nite never tasted so good...

Amazing place! Love the service and atmosphere. The owners really put a lot of thought, love and energy into the space and it shows!! We went as a group and sat at the bar. Shelby was attentive and friendly! Delicious wine based cocktails and of course a large selection of wine. Can't wait to go back :)

My wife and I found the perfect couch priced at $2100 dollars. As part of their anniversary sale, the Sales Associate suggested we return on Wednesday, as the couch would be an additional 20% off. We did as she suggested, only to find they had replaced the price tag with one for $3999. You can imagine my surprise, as my wife and I had been there both days prior and each verified the price. I informed the Sales Associate, who brought her manager over. He inquired if my wife had been in yesterday to take measurements (she had not). Which led me to believe they had other interested parties aside from my wife and I. I explained the situation, which to my surprise, led him to produce the tag he had removed with the $2100 price. He explained he would honor that price, as he had been caught, but would not take the additional 20% off as advertised, which would have taken an extra $400 or so off. Needless to say, I did not purchase the couch. It was a good effort to pull the wool over their customer’s eyes, but it ain’t gonna work on this guy. Beware of this establishments shady business practices. Instead of gaining a good customer, they lost one forever.

Went with intention of buying a dining room table but there were too many options (the kind we wanted had to be special ordered, and you pick the chairs, tabletop, etc.- the floor models that you can just buy were a little too old-fashioned for my taste). They were very helpful but it's hard for me to picture what a table will look like from just a small swatch. They do have lots of cool furniture..wish we had come here when we were looking for sofas!

Would not do business there again. After spending $3000 for furniture the cushions went flat within a couple of months after especially telling them I had a back problems. After fighting with them instead of technicians, Robert finally came out and agreed we had a problem. He ordered better cushions which are "okay", but I don't like being challenged and my judgment questioned.

Robert - I can't believe how easy it us to use the mattress selector on your website. I also like how we can custom design our sofa, including seat height, seat depth, style of feet, and so on. Thanks for providing this fine furniture store in Bakersfield.

It's a beautiful venue. Went with a group of friends for mothers day. They seemed understaffed, they ran out of some of the buffet items, some items looked like they had not been tended to. The staff was working so hard to keep up and I feel for them since I've been in their shoes. Hey, it happens. Overall, we had a wonderful time. Definitely recommend this place!

Had a wonderful time at the San Joaquin AMPP Section Meeting. The venue is amazing, speakeasy style. It has all the capabilities to make your event a success. The drinks and food were outstanding and as always the meeting was interesting. Hope to attend again.

Great food and drinks every time we go there, never a dull moment, also KUDOS to all their staff a great place to party down and wet my whistle.

I went for Miramar Real Estate event, the food was buffet style. I swear, i am so picky, but everything was good. The bbq chicken breast was super tender, bbq sauce was perfect, the bbq beans were great and they didn't scrimp in the salad fixings, lots of goodies and it was very crispy. The ranch and Italian dressing (I mix lol) were both fresh and home made. They also offered tri tip which I didn't eat, but my husband said it was delicious, cooked thru but not chewy or dry.

This restaurant is now under new ownership. It is now called Legends. We were unaware of the change in ownership as the restaurant still has signs saying 1933. We walked in and someone greeted us. We couldn't figure out where she was and it turns out she was saying hi behind a wall. It would have been nice to have been greeted face to face so that we could see her. She had to go get our waiter who was in the kitchen to tell him we were sat at our table. He was very friendly, but that's about the only thing good about his service. He was never around when we needed something. We had to ask other servers for help. It seemed like he was hiding in the kitchen the whole time and only came out to serve food. We have only been here for events. This was our first time eating at the restaurant. In all situations, the food was terrible, especially last night. My husband ordered the Cheesey Bread Tri Tip Sandwich. It was a piece of French bread with no cheese in sight and very dry and thin slices of "tri tip" layered on top of it. It was very dry. It did not have any flavor. It was not a sandwich! He opted for the pico de gallo on the side, but had to ask for barbecue sauce to make it edible. The barbecue sauce was served hot, which was a plus! To be fair, I will say the french fries and ranch dressing were pretty tasty. My son ordered the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. It was ok. The sauce wasn't that great and the chicken was very odd. It was the same texture of chicken you would get in a frozen meal. I think the best part of his food was the garlic bread. I shared their food as I wasn't that hungry, so I got to try both meals. I am sorry to say this, but this is probably one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to and I will not return. The service was terrible and the food was worse!

For Bakersfield, this is a 5 star restaurant. The food is excellent, the best in town. The decor is minimalist. The view is non-existant. The staff is the best. If it were in Midtown Manhattan it would be 3.5 stars, but the price would be 4 times higher. So 5 stars for Bakersfield. Excellent food, if that is what you want. If you want more of a view, go to A House Without a Key on Waikiki Beach Hawaii. If you want excellent food in Bakersfield, this is the place.

“Great food, great selection” Just had a great dinner here. Had some great appetizers - try the wrapped pork- very good. Tons of main course options. Lots of meat and seafood to choose from. I would recommend the Combination platter if you are hungry, bring it here. Desert is also good to try . Noodle bar does a good job with this too.

“Final Visit” Since we were in the final stages of moving to TX, we decided to make a final visit to a restaurant we've enjoyed many time while living in Bakersfield. And, they did not disappoint. Excellent food and great service.

Probably the best restaurant in Bakersfield. It can hold it's own against any New York or LA restaurant. Excellent wine list and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend this place for that special occasion.

I love this restaurant. This is by far the best gourmet dining in Bakersfield. We had a large group recently for a wedding celebration and everything was perfect.

This has been a go to for Me since I became a adult.. The menu has many tasty offerings and the serving size is large enough to fill even the largest belly.

So, this place is phenomenal. My husband and I recently moved to Bakersfield and decided that we wanted to explore the local eats. As soon as we sat down our waiter, Thomas, cheerfully greeted us and asked us where we were from. Finding out we had just moved here, he quickly told us all about the city and gave us a bunch of suggestions for food, drinks, and culture. His service was phenomenal, and really made us feel welcome in our new home. I highly recommend stopping by for a visit. On top of world-class service, the food was amazing and the drinks were a dangerous blend of tasty and powerful. Our visit here really set the mood for the whole night. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you, Thomas and all the other Bootleggers staff members. Y’all are a fine example of service.

I tried one of their lunch specials: chicken sandwich. The batter was flavorful and crisp & chicken was juicy. I had a salad as my side with ranch. The veggies were cold and crisp & the ranch very good. Not all ranch dressings taste the same (IYKYK). I was able to sneak in a fry or two from my husband plate and also great. Fry was skinny, crips & well seasoned. I'm interested in going back to try some other things.

In town for business and found Bootleggers from online reviews. Christian was my bartender and couldn’t have been more friendly! It was a really great experience and the food was great. Try the fried asparagus and the Korean tacos for sure! The gold rush is a great cocktail as well! Thanks for the great service and food! I’ll be back on my next trip :)

First time here. Food was good, staff was friendly and attentive. Menu had some unique but tasty items. Tiny little issue with the mac n cheese sandwich, noodles were mushy. But i would definitely go again.. #edit. 4th time here, just as good, if not better than last time. 11 thumbs up

The Tri Tip salad was out of this world. Tried a side of Tatcho’s( tatter tot nachos) just wow.. The craft beers were great and cold. Berry margarita were superb The waiters was super too Recommend to all

Using the simple score method this place is a solid four. Not a 3.5 or 4.5, maybe closer to 4.5 but a sure solid 4. You will not be dissapointed when you come here. I ate the mac and cheese bacon burger and it was tasty. It needed a special something to it to make it pop, but the bacon was cooked beautifully and mac was probably not homemade. It tasted a bit more "out the box" type of mac n cheese - it lacked the strong 'cheese' aspect of it. The buns were great! The fries were fried up just perfect. The wings were a bit 'boxy' as well. They tasted a lottle old (not sure of the frozen bag had a hole) but they were kind of dry. The sauce was good. Just enough spice to enjoy the "original buffalo taste." They could use a little more creativity to prep but not bad. They were also "MEATY" and I for one love that. But being a self proclaimed "wing expert" meaty wings are a plus! The service was great! My glass was always full, our table was constantly checked on - we ate at lunch time. The waitresses were friendly. No one had attitude or seemed ignorant about what they were doing. I will be coming back.

Came here for a promotional night with a 8$ initial beer and then a few bucks for every additional beer and you get to take the glass home which wasn't anything fancy. Just a glass with their logo on it, a sticker and a bottle opener. Got sliders, they were fairly good, see prices could be better, spent nearly 33$ On beer for 2 people, and $4.50 for the sliders, happy hour isn't bad. Parking is in the back, bathrooms were fairly nice as well.

Garbage garbage garbage place. You’ll get bear mased even when you’re not on their property. Didn’t do anything to get mased but have a loud conversation. Very ghetto unprofessional place.

Finally tried this place on the recommendation of a friend. The food was nothing special. Fries were a bit soggy. I did enjoy the beer selection though, and the prices were quite reasonable. However, for the relatively few guests that were seated at the bar, the amount of noise coming from the bar area was considerable. Probably a better nighttime spot, and only for drinks.

It’s an average bar the is great to visit late at night, the drinks are always good, great selection of music and a good atmosphere. The security guards are highly trained and the service provided by the bar tenders is great. Prices are good as well.

A tucked away little bar, with quite a few regulars. Bar was dimly lit, and had a couple of revisions on the wall. Drinks were reasonably priced, but I felt they had too much ice. The patrons were friendly, and my party and myself had a pretty okay time. I'd like to see better lighting for the parking lot. If you're not looking for fancy, this is the place.

On my first visit, I made arrangements with the staff to Book A Nice Room They have with management, Although The Event Is Over. I Was NEVER CALLED To Go Over Details. Of The Event. I tried twice To get Ahold of Her.BIG Hiccup #1 , service on all 3 Visits was Lacking and On 3 Visits Had To Chase Down the Server on several occasions,for service and Refills,Hiccup #2, orders on 2 Occasions were NOT what we Ordered! Hiccup#3 still Ate what was Brought.the Climate Control was Uncomfortable.belive me I Get PG&E is Brutal for us all Especially a Bussiness!Hiccup#4,The Food was Hot and good and Price Was More than Fair For Happy Hour,that Was Definitely a deal. Beer was Always Cold and Satisfying and As Always Cleanliness is appreciated. 5 stars in That Area! For the Record The Relief Waitress on the Closing Shift Was The Best Server of the 4 total we Had. The "Best" downtown experience, complete with sports and karaoke! The staff is absolutely the best, working double time to keep all customers happy and well-fed. My crew and I have been faithfully hanging out here every since we've found this hidden gem about eight months ago. We've never been disappointed with the service nor the food, as the bartenders and servers keep things rolling continuously. Love the place and the staff!! We shall return! Keep up the great work! And... of course, and update as of June 16: still the best downtown spot to hang out for superior service and attention! What a great spot to unwind after a long day at work. Us "out of towners" look for these spots that help you fit right in, as if you were a regular!! Great job Red Zone! You'll see us again!

Worst service I have ever had anywhere. My friend and I arrive at 6:05 and placed our orders. We then sat there for 45 minutes while the waitress actively ignored us. She walked past us repeatedly and never acknowledged us even as she stopped at other tables to check on them. My friend had to go stand by the drink machine to ask for refills. Our food sat in the window for 15 minutes while we watched the waitress take orders out to people who arrived after us. My friend had to go to the bar and ask for our food. My order was made wrong, and when I asked for it to be remade, I was told that it would take a while. After another 15 minutes of waiting, my friend went to the bar again to get my order, and they hadn’t even started to remake it. It was a garden salad with chicken and no onions. Nothing difficult. When we were ready to leave, my friend had to find the waitress to ask for the check, and she was told to go pay at the bar only for the waitress to bring the check to the table next to us. When I went to the bar, the bartender was berating my friend and cursing at her for saying something about the terrible service. It was absolutely appalling. I have never been so disrespected, and I will never go back there again.

It’s a sports bar. The lady working the bar and taking orders was great. Food was good. Happy Hour is a good deal with a short list of appetizers and discounted well drinks , domestic bees and house wines. Loud music and lots of screens to watch. Not a bad afternoon hang.

Service was slow, the nachos that came in the plater were just nacho cheese and jalapeno. I had the carne asada sandwich and it was good flavor wise, wife had wings and she liked them.

A coworker and I went there today for lunch.....hour...we noticed that it looked like it was going to take a while so we decided to get our order to go. Well, about 40 minutes later we finally get our food. Now, i specifically ordered my burger well done and no onions. It looked like my burger wasn't even cooked and yes, I got onions. 😑 I left a message with Christine as her manager wasn't there. So, I am stuck eating a half tuna sandwich from our cafeteria......thanks.... UPDATE...... The manager was apologetic and I given a lunch (chicken wrap) the next day. The wrap was definitely better.

This place is awesome. The service here was great. The beer here is amazing. I only tried four of the beers on tap but, they were all great. My wife enjoyed their beers as well. Had a hard time picking a favorite they were all so good.I love the pay it forward option for all our armed forces and first responders. We will be going back!

One of the best breweries we’ve been to! Beer brewer (Richard) was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Beer was top notch; unique styles you’ve never tried before such as a Ukrainian Golden. Traditional European beer gem in the area!

Great place! Everyone was super friendly, the beer selection was wide and the food was delicious. We had the mushroom burger and the western bacon burger. The burgers came with waffle fries and I would seriously come just for the fries they were so tasty. They are pet friendly allowing our 2 dogs to sit quietly under our table inside. The restrooms are clean and smell pleasant. There's lots of parking and even shaded spots aplenty!

The beer is amazing. The people are great. It’s a great place to be social or come out for an event. And if you have no idea what to drink ask the bartenders or a regular (but everything is good).

A weird mix of military pride and nerdiness with an attached dance hall. You wouldn't think it works, but it totally does. Great beer and really good food for the price. I wish I had something like this where I live. I'll totally hit this up the next time I'm in town
