Daiquiri Deck Anna Maria Island is a popular hangout spot known for its creative daiquiris, seafood, and live music. The bar offers a relaxed atmosphere and stunning views of the Gulf and Bay from its rooftop. Guests can enjoy a variety of flavorful daiquiris, cocktails, mocktails, and other adult beverages while listening to live music.
Who doesn't love adult daiquiris on a deck—and to go?! The drink options were endless and so fun to explore. The nachos were massive and seriously delicious. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals, and my kids were thrilled with the tasty virgin daiquiri options. We had a great view of the beach, which made the atmosphere even better. The bartender was also our waiter, which meant service was a little slow at times, but we weren’t in a big rush. One downside—when we were there, the bathrooms had no power, so it was hard to see anything inside. Other than that, it was a great little spot, and we’d definitely go back!

We waited at the hostess booth for 10-15 minutes before anyone came to seat us. It wasn't that they were busy staff were talking at the end of the bar by the kitchen. Our drinks took another 15-20 minutes. Only one of our group decided to eat, and he said the chicken strips were ok and a little pricey. We had some daiquiris, and they were refreshing. I wish they had some without alcohol. Happy Hour is from 3-7 1/2 off 16 oz daiquiris and $1.00 off wells, wines, drafts. They have some cute souvenir cups.
Dawn M — Google review
We went to the Daiquiri Deck after spending time at the beach. We were seated right away. It wasn't very crowded as we were in between lunch and dinner. We started with hot chicken wings. They were meaty and very good. I ordered the fish and chips. They, too, were very good. The beer batter was thick and held the fish together when I dipped it in the tartar sauce. My wife opted for a burger and she said it was good. My daughter chose the Mahi tacos and she liked them as well. My granddaughter had the Mac and Cheese, which she liked. In addition, my wife seemed to enjoy her banana slider daiquiri and my daughter had 2 Floriritas. Service was okay, and the atmosphere was just okay as well. Overall, it was a good experience.
James K — Google review
The business name pretty much sums up the menu. The menu was lacking. Our waiter was lackluster in about every regard. The food was overpriced and bland. Parking was a nightmare. The wait time for our food, considering the amount of people in the establishment, was ridiculous. Long story short, if you want a bar, then this is the place for you. Outside of that aspect, I can't recommend it.
Matt K — Google review
Had a fantastic dinner tonight, the Calabatchi bowl with blackened Mahi and superb effort by our server Gianni. Can't beat the atmosphere here and they also have some wonderful drink specials during happy hour. We'll definitely be back!
Andrew C — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great experience at Daiquiri Deck! Connor was an amazing waiter — super friendly and on point the whole time. The food was delicious, drinks were perfect, and we got to watch the most beautiful sunset from our table. Couldn’t have asked for a better vibe. We’ll definitely be back! 🌅🍹✨
Tracey R — Google review
Food was really good! All the servers were super nice but slow service. We still had a great time and enjoyed the vibe with the family all hanging out. Also the best Bloody Mary we’ve ever had!!!
Ashley P — Google review
Lindsey was AMaZINg!!! We had my birthday lunch here and she made it even more special with a complimentary shot. She gave good recommendations on the food and drinks and was super friendly. She made our experience even better. The drinks were good and strong and the ceviche was delicious. Will def be back next time we are in Anna Maria.

Beach House Waterfront Restaurant is a popular beachfront establishment known for its seafood and island-inspired dishes, as well as its deck seating. The restaurant prides itself on using locally sourced ingredients and offers a full bar with an excellent outside bar that provides ocean views. Renovated in 2017, the restaurant aims to be environmentally conscious while providing a welcoming and comfortable dining experience. It has become a favorite spot for both locals and visitors, offering casual waterfront dining at its best.
Stopped in at Beach House on Anna Maria Island and had a great experience! The drinks were excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere made for a really enjoyable evening. We liked that you can sit either inside or outside, depending on the vibe you’re going for. Even with the August crowds, we had no problem getting dinner around 6, which was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely go back again!

Come for the views and drinks — but skip the food. I’ve visited a few times now, and unfortunately, the food has consistently been a letdown. On this visit, my shrimp bowl arrived cold and lacked flavor. Several others in our party ordered various fish dishes, and most were barely touched — overcooked, dry, and underwhelming overall. On the plus side, our server was friendly and attentive, and the drinks were solid. The standout was the appetizer: the ahi tuna nachos. They were fresh, flavorful, and easily the highlight of the meal. If you're stopping by for the atmosphere and cocktails, you’ll enjoy yourself — just don’t set high expectations for the food.
Amber — Google review
The Beach House has come back better than ever after Milton. There are no visible scars left from the hurricane. We celebrated my husband’s birthday there recently and it was perfect. We had a front row view of the beach and Gulf and the sunset, ate with our toes in the sand and had a great server, Cam, who was very good with menu suggestions. We started with a couple nice drinks. I had the Paloma and my husband had an Old Fashion. We split a bowl of clam chowder which was very good. My husband had the Lobster Ravioli and I had the Mahi special which was coated with a coconut crust similar to coconut shrimp. Mine was very good but my husband’s Ravioli won the taste contest. Wow! We even got a full-size free dessert. My husband picked the Key Lime Pie and it was delicious. As I said earlier, it was perfect. The Beach House remains as one of our favorite beach-front restaurants to go to.
Barb N — Google review
Great lunch! Great service. We can’t resist grouper so that’s what we ordered but there are a lot of other things we’d like to try. Sat on the beach but might sit on the deck where there are still a few fans if there’s no breeze next time.
Jennifer Z — Google review
The views, drinks, food and vibes were all on point. If you are looking for a lunch that hits all of these this is it! Will absolutely come back and the fish and chips was delicious. Service was great and so were our cocktails. Amazing ocean front outdoor dining.
Olivia M — Google review
We ate here late afternoon and sat on the outdoor patio. It was quite quiet so we had our pick of tables. Initially we looked at the menu and thought the prices seemed a little expensive. But when the food came we realized that the portions were very substantial and the food was great quality and very tasty. You get what you pay for! I had the blackened grouper tacos and my friend the garden salad with salmon. Great for beachfront dining! Use the valet. Parking is expensive if you don’t!
Samantha K — Google review
My wife and I went to dinner here last night, and it was top-notch. We are staying in Anna Maria to celebrate our honeymoon and had the best time! They even brought out our dessert with a special message!
Kevin B — Google review
I would give this 10 Stars if I could! Everyone at our table said their meal was some of the best they've ever had. We have the shrimp platter, crab cakes, fish and chips, and chicken Florentine and they were superb. Even the kids chicken fingers were tender and grape flavor. Plus you can't beat the view! We will absolutely be back again

The Bridge Tender Inn Dockside & Tiki Bar, an iconic establishment on Anna Maria Island since 1989, offers a lively American bar and eatery experience. It is renowned for its waterfront tiki bar with live music, indoor bars and dining room. The venue is also known as a top spot to watch Green Bay Packers games. Visitors can savor homemade chili topped with cheddar cheese and jalapenos while enjoying potent boat drinks.
We enjoyed lunch on Easter at the Bridge Tender Inn. We docked the boat and sat outside at the bar. The food was delicious. The bartender was friendly. The coctail menu is interesting. You can't beat the chill atmosphere or the view. This place is Florida dockside dining at it's best!
Lisa M — Google review
The Bridge Bar (aka Packer Bar) immediately caught our eye. Being from Wisconsin, we couldn’t resist checking it out while visiting Anna Maria Island—it felt like a little slice of home down in Florida. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with lots of Packers memorabilia and a friendly crowd that made us feel right at home. We ordered a Bloody Mary, and it did not disappoint—well-balanced, flavorful, and definitely satisfying. We also grabbed a soft pretzel, and honestly, it was one of the best we've ever had. In fact, I’d put it in my top 3 soft pretzels of all time. It was warm, insanely fresh, and had the perfect chewy texture with just the right amount of salt. The beer cheese dip that came with it was smooth and creamy, adding a great savory touch that paired perfectly with the pretzel. All in all, we’re glad we stopped in. Great drinks, tasty food, and a little Wisconsin comfort in the middle of paradise.

Delicious Steak & Cheese sandwich and au jus! Great location in the heart of Anna Maria. Fun Packers theme. Great place if you’d like to watch a game.

One of our great local restaurants where you can enjoy the beautiful view and great food. The fish spread a great way to start off your meal. One of my favorites on the island.

God! I love this place. Located on famous Bridge Street. Anna Maria Island. Waterfront views. Live entertainment daily. Great service. Great food. Pet friendly! By water feel free to dock your boat and walk a short distance to enjoy some delicious food and great service! I enjoyed their house salad and grouper bites blackened! Delicious Tender and packed full of flavor. The chicken salad wrap was also tasty to the palate and highly recommended. Who can complain about a hot beef sandwich. Food is always fresh and made to order if needed. Love you Bridge Tender. See you soon ✌🏼❤️☀️🌊

Lindsay was our server, and she was fantastic!!! The food was ok. My steak sandwich was a bit overcooked, and the pretzel was really dry. The atmosphere is great, and it's s right on the bay. They had live music when we were there, and for us, that sets the mood. I definitely recommend stopping and asking for Lindsay, having a few drinks, enjoy the view, and the live music.

Located in a former doctor's office, The Doctor's Office is not your typical medical establishment. Situated in downtown Holmes Beach, this hip bar offers an upscale casual dining experience with a wide selection of craft cocktails and delectable light bites. Despite its name, it's a popular spot for visitors seeking a memorable night out on Anna Maria Island.
Had a wonderful dinner and drinks in the garden. Party of 5 and we all agreed it was the best dinner of the week. We also went to Shore and loved our meal but this was our favorite. We will definitely be going back on our next trip to AMI. Favorites were the grouper with key lime caper butter sauce and the short ribs. They were both specials and amazing! Drinks were tasty and the atmosphere was so enjoyable with the music, plants, flowers and decor. Highly recommend!!
Jean B — Google review
Hands down the best restaurant on AMI or LBK! Foodies go to the doctor!! From the ambiance, the service & of course the food, the drinks, clean crisp linens - all off the charts!! A touch of New Orleans blended with the coast! A truly unique experience. We ate on the DR side (there's a bar side too) and were welcomed w/friendly staff and warm ambiance. As we sat down, we were given a medicine shot :) of a delicious concoction of fresh fruit juices & vodka served in vintage tea cups! Fun and quirky - love! We had a pain killer and the pineapple martini - very delicious! Started with the lobsterescargot and the smoked salmon. Both dishes were served with fresh bread baked on the premises. Outstanding! For our entrees, we both had the grouper and it was best grouper dish we have ever had! Beautifully prepared, seared to perfection, accompanied with asparagus and mashed potatoes, perfectly seasoned - truly perfection! For desert, we shared the Praline Alexander - a softball size serving of the best vanilla bean ice-cream Ive ever tasted, surrounded in crushed praline, topped with whipped cream n sliced almonds in Frangelica. Superb! My hubby ordered an after dinner drink & gave the bartender creative freedom to concoct a drink with rum and coffee. Never expecting a cold drink with infused smoked cinnamon, smoked dried orange slice, served with a proper craft drink ice cube. Cannot say enough about The Doctors Office! A treasure on AMI. Cant wait to go back!
Norah M — Google review
Erin was amazing! Had a great sangria, pineapple martini, and sundowner. The Lobstercargots are a MUST. Great music/ atmosphere. We were also greater with a fun free shot. Just what the Doctor ordered!
Sierra D — Google review
Visited here for the first time this past weekend and it was amazing. The drinks were delicious but our server was OUTSTANDING. She was hilarious and attentive. I wish I remembered her name but she was amazing. It’s a small bar but I loved that, it’s very intimate.
T J — Google review
We stopped by the Doctor's Office on date night while on vacation just for one drink. We were greeting by the bartender with a "wellness shot" of a little sample drink. The Drinks we ordered were beautiful and tastey! The bartenders are friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining. The atmosphere was fun and fancy. Perfect place to start off our date night. I forgot to get the picture until we were half way through the drinks. I should also note that the drinks are expensive. Be ready to spend some money. Gratuity is included in the bill.
Jenella M — Google review
The food was exquisite and truly some of the best I've eaten in Sarasota/Bradenton/Anna Maria island. Michelle, the server, was excellent. Very helpful, friendly and provided excellent customer service-truly a gem. Can not recommend Drs Office highly enough.

Cool vibe, super friendly staff, creative and tasty cocktails. I did not eat, just stopped in for a quick checkup. Looking forward to my follow up.

The Kokonut Hut Loved this place! The view is amazing right by the water! and the vibe is super chill. The staff was really friendly and on point the whole time. They’ve got a big variety of food, so there’s something for everyone. We tried a few different things and everything was tasty. Great spot to relax, eat, and enjoy with friends or family Definitely coming back!

3 of us came here to grab a light lunch on the beach. They have a really nice setup with alot of tables under a pavilion and umbrellas to give you nice shade. We ordered just a bunch of appetizers to eat. The coconut shrimp, grouper bites, chips and dip, and calamari. I have to say all was cooked excellent and really nice sized portions. You could tell the seafood was fresh and I highly recommend the grouper bites. The service was fast and enjoyable. After you can walk some of the most beautiful beaches in the gulf or check out Anna Marie Island. They do have a giant selection of specialty drinks and beers as well
Wayne M — Google review
My sister and I have been going here for years. And the quality of the food has gone downhill. All 3 of us ordered the beer, battered fish and chips it is not beer battered it came with a flour slurry. they came looking like some fish fingers off of a child's menu. The fish was overcooked like eating jerky and so greasy i had to use all the napkins to sop up the greese. None of our dishes came on the same shape of plate, nor did they come with the same portion sizes. You cannot get a glass of water which I believe is illegal in florida. Legally they have to give you a glass of water however at this restaurant they make you pay for a cheap walmart brand bottle of water the same price as you would a soda. Now I have to say our server was Great He did go ask as many questions as were needed and when we needed the manager, he did actually go get the manager. I gave service, only three stars because the manager did not stand up to a level above that. The manager came to the table and apologized for the fish and said once he saw it, come back, they switched the fish for the weekend. They did send out 1 plate of the better fish however it was after waiting a good 45min. The manager said he would send a desert to make up for it. I'm sorry, sir.I have been in the service industry for many years and a dessert does not make up for somebody's dinner. This restaurant has been removed from our list of places to eat. Yes, they have a great view to watch the sunset and have dinner. But folks, there are a lot of places on the island you can see the same sunset from a place that serves good food, gives you water and cares to actually take care of somebody's meal properly rather than offering a dessert to make up for it. In the picture you can see the top piece is the first fish stick the bottom it the new fish sent out
Jody S — Google review
We went with friends, and I can tell you that the food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was phenomenal. The waitress who served us was always attentive to our needs. If you want a place near the sea to eat and also enjoy a sunset, I definitely recommend it.
Jaisely S — Google review
Nice location right on the beach, but I should have listened to the other reviews. Plus it being pretty much empty on a Friday night should have told me that maybe it’s not the best restaurant. This is a photo of my $25 fish and chip meal. It looks more like a kids meal. Each can of soda was $4. The only water they have is bottled water for $2 a bottle. For five people after 20% tip, our bill was $160 that included one kids meal, two fish and chips, one burger, and one chicken sandwich. I don’t have a problem paying money for a good meal, but the food was definitely not worth the price. When I arrived, I let the hostess know it would be five people and asked for a kids menu. With attitude she snapped back that ‘kids menus are for 12 and under’. As my 12-year-old stood right next to me. Our waitress was extremely nice. That is the only thing we got lucky with at this restaurant. You also cannot split a tab. I would never recommend this restaurant.
Mara K — Google review
I got the chicken sandwich and fries. But way to expensive!! Lower the price and it would be way better! Lemonade is ok. I think the view is the best part of it. Wasn't crowded didn't have to wait. They also have one single stall for the bathroom. I just had to wash my hands. Maybe u guys can make just a separate sink for that?
Stephanie — Google review
Stopped to have a bite to eat and had a salad which was very delicious with apples, candied walnuts, chicken, etc. Very good. Right at the beach, that's why the salad was 22 bucks... Attentive and friendly service. Easy parking too. Highly recommended.
Wolfgang S — Google review
The facilities, views, and service are excellent. The food and cocktails are delicious, though the prices are a bit on the higher side. Still, the overall experience is absolutely worth it—live music, the beach, the sea. I love this place, and we’ll definitely come back whenever we can.

This is a place locals go. Outstanding place great people and the bartenders are the best. The food was excellent and the Guinness poor was perfect. We went a few times while on the island every time was great.

We stopped in for a drink and some appetizers on a Wednesday evening. It was a fun, laid back vibe with live music. There was ample seating outside as well as inside the bar. We were able to take a seat wherever we wanted in the bar and our server was very sweet and attended to us right away. We ordered a few high noons, a Moscow mule and some appetizers. Everything came out fresh and was delicious. I definitely recommend the RUBEN ROLLS appetizer. They were so good and very filling!! We will definitely be back next time we’re on Anna Maria Island.

We sat ourselves, you have to go up and order food and drinks from the bar. The drinks are very good! They have a big selection to pick from. For food we got shepherds pie and the ruben. Both were absolutely amazing! They were doing karaoke when we went, it was such a fun time!

Party of 4. About 5pm on a week night. Several empty tables. Several TVs with sports, along with some 70s and 80s music. They have live music too on some nights. Service was decent and quick. My wife ordered the corned beef and cabbage dinner.it was a large portion. The meat and potatoes were excellent. The cabbage was bland but not terrible. The carrots were hard as a rock and not edible. I had the reuben sandwich. It was excellent. Came with choice of sides. I chose Cole slaw. It was creamy and excellent. Our friends had burgers and the were perfectly cooked and first rate also.

We were here at the end of July on our summer vacation. Love live music and were excited for a fun night out. The performer was great, and we had a fun time listening to her and relaxing. Service was friendly and professional as well. We didn't order any beverages as we don't drink alcohol and the food was okay. Wings were decent - middle of the road for us - and the pretzel bites were great. Nachos were just okay. Corned beef was alright, but not amazing. And, for the price, the chips seemed to be pretty lightly topped. We would come back for the live music, but for us the food was just alright.
Jackie A — Google review
I rarely give anything under four stars, and I struggled with this one. We had to wait over an hour for our food when we saw other tables get theirs quicker. This isn't a fancy restaurant and it's mostly bar food. So I don't know why it would take an hour. It also wasn't very good. I definitely was not impressed. The fries were absolutely terrible! Also, when I went to the bathroom, it was awful! I honestly wish we hadn't gone here because I felt like it was a waste of our time and money. Our server was fantastic. He was very friendly and did a good job. I don't want to blame him. I liked the vibe of the place, I love me an Irish pub. But I was not impressed and I probably won't go again, unfortunately.
Abigail L — Google review
Love the atmosphere, although the restrooms need a good scrubbing and touch up. The corned beef was good, but the potatoes and carrots had no flavor at all. The poutine was really good! Our waitress was struggling to keep up. We noticed she was not only waiting tables but also had to go behind the bar and make her own cocktails. That's on management, not her. Jon Taffer would be pissed.
Mikey G — Google review
Menu stated thick fresh cut fries but we were served cheap nasty frozen fries. Mine were freezing cold. My husbands were hot. Told the waitress and she did say she would get some more made no apology though. Fish was very good. Gave me a slight discount of my fries. I just think if it doesn’t come out right the first time then you don’t enjoy your meal and it is definitely not cheap here. Won’t be going back

Island Time Bar and Grill is a laid-back open-air bar with a patio, offering cocktails, seafood, and upscale bar food. Located across the beach, it provides picturesque Gulf views from most seats. The menu features American comfort food and fresh seafood, complemented by signature cocktails and daily specials. This welcoming spot caters to both adults and children, with a sports bar atmosphere for the grown-ups and a kids' menu with various delicious options along with crayons for entertainment.
We were looking to watch a sporting game at a local establishment. What was great is it wasn't currently on a TV, but they did let us change the channel of one of the TVs near where we were sitting. I really appreciate that! I wouldn't say this food is fabulous. It's just good comfort food, like fried food in a sports bar. Absolutely love the location. You can't beat it! View of the water, lots of people walking by... I would definitely go again. It's near a lot of other bars, restaurants, and shopping.

This place was great. We had fun listening to music and having some drinks. Our waitress was great. I forgot her name but had black frame glasses. She was friendly, attentive and was quick to take our order. She checked on us every couple minutes. The band was pretty good as well Friday night. The atmosphere was pretty neat especially the lights.

We visited twice on our stay and had a great time. Food was pretty good, they got live music and we were served by a super nice waitress with a perfect tan. Highly recommended if you're staying in the area.

Island Time continues to be one of our favorite spots to either grab a drink, a bite to eat or both! My go to meal is always the bang bang shrimp tacos - they’re the perfect portion too. I don’t know what’s in the Bang bang shrimp seasoning but it’s absolutely unreal. They also don’t skimp out on the shrimp either, which is a huge plus!! They often have live music, which we love but sometimes it’s a little too loud. Otherwise, we keep coming back for more!

One of our favorite bars to visit when we are in the area. There is live music every night. The staff is friendly, as well as the clientele. My favorite drink to get is the orange crush (there’s a grapefruit crush, as well). Freshly squeezed juice, with the respective vodka flavor and a topper of soda water. So glad to see them back up and open especially after last year’s hurricanes. Pop in and support them!!

Have been here for drinks and apps/dinner numerous times, it's always fun... but their new breakfast (started October 15, 2025) is where it's at! Breakfast is 7-10am daily. We came in at 8:45 on a Tuesday (10/28) and were the only ones there. Bartender was welcoming and quickly got us seated (outside, our choice) with menus and drinks. Toni was our server, super sweet and attentive. I ordered the Cubano omelet, which comes with home fries and brioche toast, and a sidecar of mustard - I subbed out the home fries for the cheesy grits. My guy ordered the biscuits and gravy. Food came out within 10-15 minutes and was plated gorgeously with these beautiful tropical flower garnishes. Biscuits and gravy were tasty - biscuits were nice and soft, and gravy had good sized sausage chunks. The Cubano was amazing! It was absolutely stuffed with shredded pork, cubed ham, Swiss cheese, and diced dill pickles. The sidecar of mustard really made it, it was Dijon and delicious. This was a perfect representation of a cubam sandwich in omelet form! The cheesy grits were fine, as was the brioche toast (butter was nice and spreadable, and came with grape and strawberry jam). You don't see a cuban omelet on many menus, so this was a cool order to begin with, but it was so good that I doubt I'll be able to bring myself to try something different the next time. I hope they keep breakfast going, and I hope they keep the cuban omelet on the menu. You can't go wrong at Island Time - staff is always super nice. But if you haven't been here in awhile, come out and try the breakfast - totally worth it!

We went two days in a row, one for dinner and the next day for lunch. Our servers were Kat and Ally. They were both very kind and attentive. They regularly checked on us and provided great service! The buffalo chicken sandwich is great and my wife got the Cobb salad and enjoyed it as well. The food was great and it came very quickly both times. Other places seem to be price gouging their food but the food here is still affordable to the average person on vacation and it’s actually good.

Impressed. Family party of 13- great outdoor scenery on the beach for photos while waited to be seated (arrived around 5-5:30pm). The food was exceptional. Every meal was well prepared, tasted amazing, and served within good time. What made our experience most exceptional was our waitress Nicole. We hardly needed to ask her for anything and was consistently attentive to our dining experience. We’ll be back again 👌

Overall good experience. I had the roasted beet salad , one of my favorite salads ever. My husband had the lobster roll. A bit pricey (over $30) but he loved it. We shared a peel and eat shrimp platter. Drinks were good and view is nice. Summer months are hot (went beginning of August) they do have fans outdoors to keep air circulating. I do feel their pricing is a bit higher probably for being beachside.

We really enjoyed everything here. We ordered some drinks before we got to our reserved table on a Sunday. Our server Turah was very kind, friendly and prompt with everything! We ordered the crab and spinach dip which was excellent, cowboy shrimp which was extremely tasty and flavorful with the right amount of spice and the crab cake which was mouth watering delicious for appetizers. For dinner we got the lobster roll which was packed with lobster and very fresh tasting, chicken and waffles which was really good but not the biggest fan of the syrup, grouper filet which you can never go wrong with, blackened red snapper with a beurre Blanc sauce with crab which was soooo good and another crab cake. Overall, the food was well worth it, even though it was a little pricey. The service made the visit pleasant and the atmosphere is perfect right by the beach to watch the sunset. I'd come here again and again.

Sandbar is a great restaurant right by the beach in Anna Maria Island. 🏝️ The food was good (except the sweet potato mash), the drinks are delicious 🥭🍹😋, and the ocean view is amazing. It's a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal or a cocktail by the water. Highly recommended! 💙

Every single dish we ordered was a hit—from the crispy potatoes and buttery shrimp to the perfectly blackened fish and ultra-fresh oysters. The sweet potato mash and roasted veggies? Chef’s kiss. You can tell the kitchen cares about quality and seasoning. On top of that, our server was friendly, attentive, and knew the menu inside out. Great food, great vibes, and even better service—we’ll definitely be back!

Great food and service. Best crab cake and crab & spinach dip in the area. Great atmosphere, chilled, not pretentious. Amazing sunset with the Pelicans and all sorts of gulls flying and fishing for our delight, and the courtesy of the dolphins jumping to say goodbye. The show continued with a stunning moonrise behind the Sandbar. What else 😎?

The fresh grouper sandwich was excellent. Sat outside plenty of fans to keep us cool right on the beach beautiful view of the ocean. We had drinks. Swam for a while enjoyed our day.

Incredible view of the sunset. You can order your drink at the bar and take it out to the beach while you wait for your table. We were lucky to get a table closest to the water. The poke bowl and coconut shrimp were excellent. Would recommend the seafood over the steak, although the steak was also good.

Went here after the beach. We sat outside at a small table. The staff was friendly and sat us right away. The server was very attentive. Our food was delicious! I got scallop/shrimp/mushroom risotto with a side salad. My boyfriend loved his Grouper tacos! I look forward to visiting again someday!

As a family of 5 on holiday we stopped in for a late lunch after going on the dolphin boat tour. No wait for a table, great service, and the food was excellent and plentiful. My son had the California Club sandwich which turned out to be a bit too big for a 9 year old, but they were happy to provide a container for him to take it home and eat later.

Visited 26APR25:: my girlfriend and I came to this area as a weekend get a way. We picked this place solely based off of her sons name, who wasn't with us. She ordered the chicken your way, char grilled, the piece of chicken was a decent size, the brioche bun was good and soft just the chicken lacked flavor. Seemed as though there wasn't salt, pepper or any seasoning. Only could taste the char grilled. Island fries, which are just regular fries the server said they just named it that because we're on an island, were top 5 of what she's had. Nice and crispy not greasy. I ordeee the maple orange salmon. Lacked flavor wasn't very maple tasting or orange. I would suggest to add orange zest for a bright flavor. Good size piece. Baked potato was ordinary. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing, small but they made the seating work. Our server wasn't over the top.

We have been sleeping on this place and we regret it! This is our fifth visit to the island and our first time visiting Hurricane Hanks. We were blown away with the quality, taste and portions of the food. Rachel was our server and she was so helpful and made the experience wonderful. We had the crab cake stuffed grouper, shrimp risotto, meatloaf, chicken tenders and a side of onion rings. Come early or you’ll be on a long wait, they fill up fast and for good reason!!

RUN HERE NOW!! Hurricane Hanks has THE best key lime pie I have had in years! I stopped in for lunch and happy I did. The place is quaint, plenty of seating and great southern hospitality! I ordered a chicken wrap, unsweetened ice tea and of course my favorite, key lime pie.. Food is delicious, service friendly and attentive and great atmosphere. Only regret?? I didn't take an extra piece of pie to go!! Next time you're hungry, stop in at Hurricane Hanks!

We stopped into Hurricane Hanks for dinner on our last night out and had a great time and meal! For our starters, we had the infamous tuna stack which was so delicious!! We also had the peel & eat shrimp with butter which were fantastic- great flavor! For our mains, we had the grouper tacos, fish and chips and chicken piccata. Our only regret is not visiting and trying out hurricane Hanks sooner, but we’re sooo happy we did so we can add it to our AMI rotation!

Surprisingly good food here. Our entire group loved everything that was ordered. Our server was wonderful and explained everything we asked. Wish I could remember her name. Edit: Returned a year later and all I can say is we were just as happy with our food and service as the last time. The bacon wrapped scallops on the appetizer menu were melt in your mouth delicious.
Chris T — Google review
We were told they have the best grouper sandwich on Anna Maria Island and it IS!! Our server, Rachel, was awesome and helped us decide on our choices…. fried ( I wasn’t sure if I wanted it fried, blackened or grilled) grouper sandwich ($25) and the meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes and onion rings )$22) for my wife. And a side of coleslaw ($4) very good! I put tartar sauce on the sandwich before I took the picture below so it looks a bit weird but it was crispy and delicious. Really the best tasting grouper I’ve had since we’ve been here. Highly recommend but Rachel said there could be and hour to an hour and a half wait for a dinner table. We were lucky last night (Monday) and got seated immediately. Good beer/ wine prices too ($6.50 to $7.00)

Wicked Cantina is a laid-back restaurant with Mexican food that's popular with Austinites. They offer margaritas and tacos which are some of the best in town. The Gulf View patio is perfect for enjoying a meal or drinks waterfront.
Great breakfast with a Gulfview. It is one of the best places for breakfast on AMI. The bloody mary uses a nice mix that compliments the Mexican dishes. Their margaritas are just alcohol and lime juice, nothing artificial. Lunch and dinners are also great. Just a great restaurant!

Started with a house margarita-well done, although a bit small :). Took about 45 minutes to get a table (inside), so we hung out at the (small) bar. When seated, we had a great waiter. Fast, very fast service for our food - literally just minutes after ordering! The menu is great, the food was hot and good! Well worth a visit if you are in the mood for Mexican!

Free chips and salsa, as is standard with many Mexican restaurants. Cowboy Brisket Bowl was good and hearty. Cheese quesadilla was typical, but good. Food came out super fast. Service was very good. Inside seating was a bit noisy. Outside seating is available, though near the road. It appeared that there was to be entertainment setting up when we left. All in all we would go back on a future visit. We did not order any drinks. I couldn't tell wether or not if they have any NA beers. We could have inquired but didn't need any on this visit.

Who doesn’t love a great Mexican restaurant! I always try something new. Every item is delicious and worth trying. The chips and salsa are my favorite. It is about what you expect from almost every baseline-mediocre Mexican restaurant throughout the U.S. The food was average. The waitress checked on us twice (once being the delivery of the food) in over an hour. Parking is limited as well as the interior seating. The food prices were high. The highlight of the experience was the breeze from the ocean. I don't recommend this spot.

Food was good. Server behind the bar was rude, not welcoming and seemed agravated. We ate outside and left quick. It wasnt that busy and we got a seemed put out of her way vibe. Tacos were tasty and fresh, salsa and quac. excellent.Outdoor seating was the norm, nothing real fansy. Could have used a little bit of decorating. The price was high for apps.

Went for a date. I pass this place all the time. This is not just a bar - great food! And nearly beachfront with the view! Love music we sat outdoors. Doubled the grouper tacos. And quesso is sooooo good! And you can judge a place by the chips and salsa. Everything finished !

Absolutely Amazing Experience! I absolutely love this place! The ambiance is perfect, sitting outside with a view of the ocean, watching people ride by on bicycles, walking with their beach gear, laughing and chatting. You can choose to sit under a shady umbrella or bask in the sun. The food is always fresh and delicious, no matter if I’m enjoying breakfast or dinner. It never takes long to arrive, and the quality is consistently top-notch. The service is fantastic: I’ve never had to wait, and the staff make you feel like family. It's part of the Anna Maria Oyster Bar chain, with other locations across Manatee County. The restaurant offers a lively atmosphere and serves award-winning seafood dishes for both lunch and dinner.
We had a great experience here! Views from the pier were already incredible especially at sunset and they seated us even though we were a bigger party closer to close which was appreciated. The food was delicious no one had any complaints! Our server Courtney was also really great!! Would 100% return.

The restaurant is at the end of a pier so you see water in every direction you look. Food was great, service was amazing! The place is very popular so expect it to be relatively busy but it was not loud. Parking is very limited and watch out for public parking lots! On a Sat night the fee is $15.00 per hour. It is worth it to drive around and walk a little bit to find free parking!!

Found this on Trip Advisor and then Google. Both had a lower score than I'd give. Beautiful Friday afternoon outside and great service from Sam. Even though we only ordered fried food, it was all delicious. The fried oysters were yummy with a nice batter coating. The fish in the Fish and Chips dish were not battered (my preference), but very tasty and abundant. Fries were good as well. $7 for a Coors Light aluminum. Loved the condiment container with attached lid--good for waterfront dining. Atmosphere outside is what brought us here but we were both pleasantly surprised with everything.

Normally when I eat out, I don’t finish my meal or I’m not totally satisfied—but this time, everything was divine! My uncle was cracking his usual jokes, and I appreciated how kind and unfazed our waitress was. I even asked everyone at the table to rate their meal from 1–10, and everyone said between a high 8 and a 10! The service was excellent—thank you so much, Jonah, for serving us. We’re so glad we had you!

Tonya was a great waitress. The deck off that pier is cool and makes for a great atmosphere. The boom boom shrimp was great. The shrimp, clams, fried fish and scallops were great. The fries are just ok. Hush puppies are great with honey and butter. Would def come back!

First impression was the menu has a wide variety of seafood dishes. The option to mix and match the selection of a dozen oysters was a very appealing feature. We ordered the tequila lime oysters, the grandmas, spinach Parmesan, and the chimichurri oysters. All…came…out…cold. We also ordered the peel and eat shrimp and the PEI mussels. Shrimp wasn’t deveined and very much over cooked/steamed and unseasoned. Mussels were overly steamed/cooked separately from the white wine sauce advertised being sautéed in with the mussels but appears to have just been poured over the mussels. Pictures show no sauce at all in mussels. Shrimp was reimbursed but we covered the tab for the mussels and oysters. My wife and I dine out quite a bit and we never do reviews but we also haven’t been this disappointed. Our Server could have been more assertive as well.
Thavone S — Google review
Food was good, service was great. We had the PEI mussels to start. Deelish! I had the fish tacos. My husband had the Tuna poke bowl. Sides for me was supposed to be squash/zucchini & coleslaw. I was served undercooked green beans mixed with overcooked green beans. Lol. It was fine. Atmosphere was great, right on the water. All in all, good for the price. Take the trolley, the parking is terrible! Luke was our server, very friendly and professional. Thank you!

Definitely stop at this restaurant. Out of all of the restaurants I have eaten at while staying in AMI, this has been the best. Definitely get the tequila lime oysters and the coconut shrimp. Rating: ★★★★★ (5 out of 5 stars) Bamboo Island Bar and Grill is an absolute gem, a family-run treasure that blends their rich culinary heritage of Brazil with an eclectic mix of flavors inspired by a lifetime of travel. From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of spectacular. The appetizers alone were worth the visit. The octopus was tender and perfectly seasoned, the buffalo chicken croquets were packed with flavor and just the right amount of kick, and the cheese-filled bread bites paired with a sour cream and cherry chutney, were unlike anything we’ve ever tasted. Even the complimentary fresh bread was delicious, setting the tone for what was to come. Service was truly top-notch. Our server struck the perfect balance of professionalism and personality, providing vivid descriptions of the menu, thoughtful recommendations, and engaging banter throughout the evening. We never once felt rushed or neglected. The setting was equally impressive. We enjoyed our meal outside with a stunning waterfront view, which only added to the charm and warmth of the evening. For our entrées, my Brazilian steak platter was absolutely sublime, tender, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth perfect, complemented by sides that were just as thoughtfully prepared. My wife and daughter both raved about their seafood and pasta dishes, each bite reflecting care, creativity, and incredible taste. The entire evening felt special, one of those rare dining experiences where every detail aligns to create something memorable. It was so good, I gladly doubled the bill as a token of appreciation. We will definitely be back, and I honestly can’t recommend Bamboo Island Bar and Grill highly enough. If you’re anywhere nearby, don’t miss it!

Wow!!! What a delightful surprise during our stay at AMI! Bamboo Island Bar is a beautiful and inviting place with plenty of seating. The atmosphere is super pleasant, and the staff is incredible. We received excellent service—special thanks to Bryan, who made sure our experience was impeccable. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious options. Here’s what we ordered: Appetizers: • Ibiza: The octopus was perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and juicy. • Bali: The calamari were excellent. Entrées: • Hawaii: The perfect combination of pineapple and shrimp. • Vicenza: A wonderful pasta with seafood—everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. • Salvador: A tasty Brazilian dish, though a bit too spicy for my personal taste. • Piemontese Rice: Absolutely delicious. Desserts: • Saint Tropez Crème Brûlée: Creamy and flavorful. • Zurich Sweet Pizza: A fun and tasty treat! The prices are extremely reasonable, and we’ll definitely be back!

As a local Real Estate broker I often get asked where to eat. Wonderful family… ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bamboo Island Bar on Bridge Street in Bradenton Beach is a true gem! From the moment we walked up to the vibrant second-floor dining area, we were captivated by the beachy, welcoming atmosphere. The shrimp and white fish stew was a standout, absolutely out of this world! The staff, led by the warm and attentive Brian, made us feel like family. Their service is impeccable, balancing professionalism with genuine friendliness. The happy hour is a must, with expertly crafted cocktails like the best mojito I’ve ever had and a pina colada that’s pure bliss. The crème brûlée dessert? Hands down the best I’ve ever tasted—silky, rich, and unforgettable. The ambiance is perfect for any occasion, whether it’s a romantic dinner, a lively group gathering, or a special event like a birthday or rehearsal dinner. The view overlooking Bridge Street adds to the charm, and the family-owned vibe shines through in every detail.

Fun spot, good food, and great service. Always hopping. We had a couple of late lunches and got seated right away, but it can get very busy during popular meal times. We were happy to snag tables in the shade. 1st time we got a grouper sandwich & grouper tacos. The “tortilla” shells were made of all cheese, which was unique but I would’ve preferred corn. All well prepared & loaded with stuff, making it a triple napkin meal for each of us. I had a 0% alcohol Coastal Colada that was wonderful. We really enjoyed the fries & cole slaw…so much we went back to get burgers & the fries & slaw. THRILLED TO HAVE A GLUTEN FREE BURGER & BUN! Super friendly service. Fun experience.

We like their large menu selections, but the serving was a little less than what I expected for the price. However, the dishes we ordered were delicious and did not disappoint. The kids also like their large selections on the kids menu and everyone seemed to have enjoyed their meals. The atmosphere was just fair. But the big fans they have around definitely helped mitigate the heat and humidity today and was very much appreciated for sure. The excellent service from the front host to our waiter was the best for us.

We went for an early dinner and the hostess and our server were friendly and attentive. As for the food, it lacked flavor. We ordered the Coastal Clam Chowder (tasted like it was out of a bag and super thick), the Angus burger (basic) and the Mahi Sandwich. It is a convenient spot for a quick bite, but not what we were expecting.

Was nervous to go here given the inconsistent reviews, but they were wrong! Had the pretzel, grouper tacos, quesadilla and specialty cocktails = all delicious! Sam, our waitress, was bomb with great recommendations, and the live music a bonus. Definitely go! And you're treating yourself to go out. If it's too expensive, stay home.

Food servings are great! Taste is good, and the atmosphere is fun and great! The menu options are very good and they have several cocktails that are very tasty. The mozzarella sticks are delicious! Honestly, this is a great spot to chill, have a great time, and have some good food.

Extremely Fun place to eat, had delicious grouper tacos, and pulled pork sliders ! Also the Pina Colada was delicious and was great drinking it as live music was played and we were refreshed by an afternoon shower! Everything was spectacular and Olivia was wonderful and met all of our needs. You Must eat at the Ugly Grouper, Anna Marie Island!

The seating is all outside, but they have plenty of fans to keep it cooler. The waitress was very helpful in giving recommendations. Our appetizer was the best part of the meal. The chicken quesadilla was absolutely delicious! I wasn't very impressed with the grouper tacos or the new england clam chowder soup.

An outdoor restaurant. Parking is slim, especially on a busy tourist day. The food was good but overpriced. The wait time was reasonable. It's a decent spot. The highlight of the dining experience was our waiter, "Chris". He was phenomenal.

very disappointing. It’s hard to ruin breakfast on the beach on a beautiful day but Gulf Drive Cafe managed to succeed in that task. Allow me to start by saying that they don’t offer water at a restaurant on the beach without having to pay? diabolical. I got a cup of ice instead of being charged for another drink and she still tried to charge me for water on my bill. in addition to that, their food was extremely over priced. Which for a touristy area, that is understandable. However with those prices it should at least be good food. In our party of 12, only one person was satisfied with the taste of their food and she got a salad so i shouldn’t go this whole review without applauding them for putting lettuce in a bowl. My biscuit was raw on the inside (which was also recommended as one of the better side options by the staff member). My friend ordered pancakes and even after multiple requests (and 30 minutes) she didn’t bring syrup so she ate her pancake dry and then was given syrup when she finished her whole meal (this was also after a very long wait for all of our coffee and food). I can give two stars for the location and atmosphere but there are plenty of other better options you can go to on the water!

The crab cakes are awesome. Cailyn was awesome and attentive. I loved being able to enjoy the beach and the gulf without actually having to venture out onto sand at any point.

Restaurant
Blue Marlin Seafood Restaurant is a charming Gulf Coast eatery and wine bar located on Bradenton Beach's Historic Bridge Street. Housed in a renovated 1920s-era cottage, the restaurant offers a unique dining experience with its nautical decor and intimate courtyard featuring live music. Specializing in fresh local catches like snapper, grouper, hogfish, and cobia, the menu also includes Southern-style favorites such as shrimp and grits.
Had a wonderful meal here! Love the atmosphere! Very cozy! Delicious food and wine! It really stood out that the owner of the business is very involved. From seating customers, to refilling water, he cares about his business! I can't wait to go back!

We showed up post-hurricane with no reservation, a newborn baby, and zero expectations--except maybe to be turned away. But instead, we were welcomed like old friends. Huge thanks to the amazing woman at the outside bar who got us a seat inside-you made our night! We were celebrating our 1-year anniversary while grieving the recent loss of two close friends, so emotions were high. But Blue Marlin lifted our spirits in the best way. The Grouper Fettuccine? Life-changing. The Thai Nugs? Crispy happiness. Drinks? Yes, please--and they were perfect. Bri and Morgan gave us top-notch service with warmth and humor. We felt taken care of in every way.ml This wasn't just dinner. It was a beautiful, healing experience we'll never forget. Blue Marlin is now officially our place. Thank you for turning a hard week into something joyful.

Just passing by on our day trip to AMI and from the reviews, we figured this was a must. What we enjoyed the most was the welcoming service, decor, and overall ambiance. Regarding the food, I have to say the broccoli was the best. It's incredible how a common vegetable could pack so much flavor. It was just incredible. Second to that was the mash potato. The grouper wasn't as memorable after the amount of flavor that broccoli had. If you're interested, make sure to have a reservation and come visit.
Elena C — Google review
Our server was Brie. She and her supporting staff were great. The place wasn't too busy so it was appropriate. I tried the Cioppino and it was very tasty and cooked perfectly. My wife had the grouper with eggplant. She loved it. The atmosphere is outstanding, inside and out. It is on the pricey side but not outrageous. I would recommend it.
Doug D — Google review
Tucked away on charming Bridge Street, Blue Marlin is a true gem on Anna Maria Island. The atmosphere is cozy and coastal, with a welcoming vibe that fits perfectly into the laid-back island charm. The standout dish? Without question, the shrimp and grits — absolutely phenomenal. Perfectly cooked shrimp nestled in creamy, flavorful grits with just the right kick. It's rich, comforting, and not to be missed. Service is attentive and friendly, and the fresh seafood selection is impressive. Whether you're dining inside or enjoying the outdoor seating near the “Trap Yard” area with live music, it’s a memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great seafood and relaxed island vibes.

Had the pleasure of dining at Blue Marlin for the first time recently as a date night with my wife, and the only thing better than the food was the top notch service received by our server Drew. We were celebrating our anniversary and he went above and beyond to ensure our night was special. The atmosphere and food were superb, and we're so grateful we dined here. If you're looking for your next favorite hidden gem on AMI, look no further than Blue Marlin and be sure to ask for Drew, you're won't be sorry!

We celebrated our 20th year anniversary here the food was amazing. Service was spectacular. Really enjoyed the intimate setting on the inside. If you are looking for outside dining they also offer that. This place is set in an original 1920s cottage so the inside is small but perfect for intimate settings like an anniversary. We had the lobster grilled cheese with the best cheese grits I have ever had and the pecan crusted grouper which was excellent. ( Pouring the lobster sauce from the lobster grilled cheese on the grouper made it a 10). My wife and I shared our entrees which were perfectly portioned. ( We brought home just a small box). If you are looking for a more casual dining experience their patio seemed perfect for that.
Mike W — Google review
We came out to grab a bite on a weekday evening. The website recommended putting a reservation down, but it wasn’t too busy and we were sat right away. The hostess was welcoming and friendly and took us to an outdoor table. The seating area itself was well decorated and overall had a really nice atmosphere. After we were sat our waiter met us right away, but I think he may have forgotten us as it was longer than expected for him to come back to take our drink/meal orders. We ended up ordering the House Salad, Potato Soup, the Scallops, and the Grouper Dijonnaise. Everything was pretty good, but the Grouper and its sides were a bit lacking in flavor and the fish was a tad tougher than you’d expect at the price point. Overall we had a decent time, but based on this initial visit it wouldn’t be a *first* recommendation with all the options around.

Amazing beach!! Delicious breakfast on Manatee Beach at the Anna Maria Island Beach Cafe! We arrived at 9:15 am on a Sunday and got one of the last parking spots. Must arrive early on the weekend. Excellent breakfast with a million dollar view! The Belgian Waffle was delicious! After breakfast we sat on the beach for a few hours then went up and had some drinks at the bar and sat in the shade. Clean bathrooms. Such an amazing spot! Can’t wait to return!

Ate here for the first time today for breakfast. Short walk on the beach from our air bnb. Had the 2 eggs, wheat toast, home fried potatoes and bacon and the gravy w/ biscuits and 2 eggs. Biscuits and gravy were good but the eggs, bacon, & potatoes was great! Coffee was ok..soda good..Nice to be able to eat directly on the beach. They offer ayce pancakes for 7.99! Would return. definitely return.

If you’re at this beach, this is great! Good food, reasonably priced and fast. The fries were not super great. Burger was really good for $9.00. They have a bar and ice cream! So convenience is upmost. I’d recommend this place because it’s fun, decent and you don’t need to get in the car, lose your spot, sweat, etc. It’s surprisingly good.

Several vendors on the beach. Typical beach food and drinks selection. Kids playground on Holmes, Manatee Beach access area. The picnic area has picnic benches and grills and shaded for the most part. Very clean and free of garbage as the cleaning crew on the beach is phenomenal.

Breakfast was very good, menu had a lot of options. We had some go for the "all you can eat" pancakes 🥞 that comes with sausage patties the first go round, biscuits and gravy with bacon, waffle with strawberries and whipped cream and even French toast... there were no complaints for any of it, everyone left with full bellies! Food came out quickly as well! Will be going back again during our stay!

I’ve been to the beach café three times since I’ve been here for the week and it was great. I loved having close access to bathrooms from the beach. Great service. The chair and umbrella guy brings your stuff to your spot and sets it up for you. I wasn’t impressed with the food besides the fish and chips, which are pollock, and the all you can eat pancakes. Very tasty. I also had a delicious mimosa and “lava flow” beverage made with rum. And came with a refillable cup at a discounted price.

Nestled right on the pristine sands of Coquina Beach, Coquina Beach Cafe is a charming waterfront eatery that perfectly captures the laid-back vibe of Anna Maria Island. This beloved spot is ideal for those seeking a delightful breakfast or lunch experience with stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. The menu boasts an array of delicious options, from fresh seafood platters and grouper sandwiches to classic breakfast favorites like pancakes and island-style French toast.
This is one of my favorite beaches in the whole world. I'm saddened that the recent hurricanes have destroyed the restrooms, but that's understandable, and they've done a good job thus far to get things back to normal. It's a very uncrowded beach, it's a very beautiful beach, and it's kind of a hidden secret, but it's just worth the trip. They do have a free bus that goes from the northern part of the island down to this beach. I did not eat this time but I ate the last time I was here, and the food is really good. It's just one of the few places that really is as beautiful as the postcards.

We had an amazing time enjoying the atmosphere, making memories together, and soaking up the beautiful beach views. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bradenton Beach – it’s perfect for families and a relaxing day by the water!

We both had the Seafood Platter with fries & coleslaw. Mine was grilled, my husband’s was blackened. They very kindly separated my fish, fries & slaw (comes in a small cup), while my husband wanted his fish in his fries. The fish was delicious, as promised, very mild & tender. Next time I’ll ask for half the seasoning as I eat low salt, but it was delicious & perfectly cooked. My husband’s blackened fish was exactly to his liking. He enjoyed his mango daiquiri & I had bottled water. We were able to find a table with partial shade, no mean feat in a busy Sunday. We love Coquina Beach—less crowded than others—and will be back. When we do, we’ll definitely eat here again! Beach photos since I forgot to take photos of the food. Can’t beat the ambience! 😍

Good food and portions size is nice. Went twice in 1 week. Please someone message me where I can buy those pickle spears. Best I ever tasted. Fresh and crispy. Live in Ohio so a long way from home.

The location is incredibly convenient. The staff is nice. You order alcohol on the bar to the left and everything else is ordered at the counter at top of the stairs. We had such a delicious grilled cheese that came with a pickle spear. Now for the bar, since there are no alcoholic beverages permitted beyond the patio area you have to get one of two plastic souvenir cups. I had a Margarita which was just meh. I was expecting to be asked what color cup I would like since the customer in front of us was asked, then I got stuck with a pink cup. I won't be visiting the bar again because I the drinks do not align with the prices and having to get one of those cups. While they are refillable at a slightly lower price, it's just not worth it for us. Since we are early birds we love that they serve breakfast.

The hostess was friendly and sat us promptly. This was our first time here. We were trying it out for my birthday. Then the wait began. We sat for 5 almost 6 minutes before we were greeted. This occurred only after another couple was sat next to us and was promptly greeted. My husband stated, well I guess we are invisible. I responded, yes I guess so, after waiting 5 almost 6 minutes and nobody has been to our table. The server Kimmi N. Came over and asked us how we were doing. I expressed to her we would be doing better if we had not been waiting for 5 almost 6 minutes without being greeted. Her response was, that’s why she came over. She stated that she noticed nobody had been to our table. As a server, this means, we were her table, or there is not teamwork at this restaurant ( communication). Which I’m not sure is the case. She brought our drinks and ordered our appetizer. Our appetizer ( calamari ) was delivered , and was cooked to perfection. We ate some of it, then chose to walk 3 tables over by the bar and get a few pictures. 2-3 minutes tops. When we returned to our table, it had been cleared! Seriously! We wait for almost 6 minutes to be greeted, but leave the table for 2 possibly 3 minutes and our table is cleared with our food. Not a great experience! So when Kimmi N. Returns in sight, we flag her down and point to our empty table. She states, oh no they cleared your table! And I told them not to. She then gets us new drinks and tells us that she will order our calamari to go if we want. As we were ordering our food, I ask her if they did anything for birthdays. Her response was yes, a slice of Keylime pie. I asked my husband if he would split it with me and he said yes, so then we agreed on that. When our food was delivered by a gentleman, he asked if there were anything else he could get us. My husband responded yes silverware. They cleared our table and took everything while we were taking pictures. The look on his face was surprised. So he brought our silverware. The food was cooked perfect. If it were not for the lack of service and the clearing of our table, perhaps this would have been a great birthday for me. The view was perfect. The music was great and the food was wonderful. The rest of it was just unbelievable if We had not witnessed it ourselves, It’s just laughable. Kimmi N. was friendly and accommodating once she got there, but that experience like we didn’t even exist, and it being my birthday was just unbelievable. We will give your restaurant another try, we always do just in case it was just a bad day.

Casual Tiki With Great Calamari and Shrimp Nachos My son and girlfriend have been here several times and have raved about the seafood, the service, the deck and view, so my wife and I hooked up with him and visited this place on the July 4 weekend. We found plenty of parking for cars and there’s some dock space for boats to come by water. The Tiki roof covers an expansive deck that has great views of Sarasota Bay. We were fortunate to have T.C. (Tim Chandler) providing live entertainment on the deck, singing and playing his guitar. Lots of outdoor seating on the deck and we were seated immediately. We placed our drink order - Heineken 0.0 cans ($5.00), Busch Light 12 oz cans ($4.00), Diet Coke fountain ($3.75). We went with a couple appetizers instead of meals. The Calamari appetizer ($15) is excellent. The rings and tentacles have a very thin batter, then flash fried, topped with cabbage, mint, cilantro and green onions, then drizzled with Thai chili sauce. This is one hefty platter of calamari – easily shared by three people. No rubbery chew here and the chili sauce was an excellent alternative to the typical marinara or cocktail sauce most places provide. No problem getting more chili sauce as we dipped every piece. We also got the Loaded Nachos ($11) and added shrimp ($7 add-on). Now these are LOADED NACHOS!!!! Look at my pic. A massive pile of tortilla chips topped with an impressive quantity of grilled shrimp topped with diced fresh tomatoes and scallions. Small side containers had a very fresh tasting pico and sour cream. The three of us also shared this and I do believe there are enough shrimp to have one on every chip. No doubt, one of the best nacho dishes we’ve ever had. Our server never made us feel rushed to open our table so we sat and gabbed, listened to the music and had a few more cold ones. We will be back for sure.
Heino P — Google review
This is going to become a favorite go-to of ours! You can beat the setting on the water where you can watch the sun retreat in the evening, the beers were cold and kept coming, and the whole fried snapper was as good as I've had anywhere in the world, if a bit more expensive. We drove over an hour and still made reservations for the following week after this initial visit.
Karl L — Google review
Swordfish Grill never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, with generous portions that feel more than fair for the price. I meant to take a photo of the firecracker shrimp but ended up eating them too fast—absolutely packed with flavor. Even the French fries deserve a mention; crispy, breaded, and some of the best I’ve ever had. The ambiance is perfect, sitting right on the water with a relaxed vibe that feels tucked away from the main tourist bustle while still being easy to get to. On top of that, the staff is always warm, polite, and welcoming, which makes every visit a pleasure. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and a great setting.

We had the best dinner. We started off with the grouper collars, so crispy and tender. I have the burger and the tomatoes on it were beyond sweet and juicy. The others had the shrimp and grits, which were so creamy and packed with shrimp. You absolutely need to visit The Swordfish.

The restaurant aims to provide an escape to the laid-back, tropical charm of Anna Maria, Florida with its lush foliage, elegant micro-brew and wine bar, and open-air patio offering views of Tampa Bay.
While on vacation at Anna Maria Island, we chose this restaurant for dinner one night. There was about a 45-minute wait, but it was worth it. We were seated outside on the back patio, which had a really nice, relaxing atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious — everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. Our waitress wasn’t particularly friendly, and it felt like our group of eight may have overwhelmed her a bit. Still, the overall experience was positive, and we’ll definitely be back the next time we visit Anna Maria Island.

Stopped here by luck while on a day trip while on vacation in Siesta Key and exploring the barrier Island. This place is a must. Delicious food, amazing views and wonderful & friendly team! I wish this place was close to my home, I would be a regular! My family of 5 all loved their food! Calamari, Lobster Bisque, Burger, Mac and Cheese, Grouper Taco and Desserts were all hits.

I completely understand the popularity of this place now that I’ve had a chance to visit. I live near the island and this has been on my list of popular dining spots. Now I see the hype 😊 The esthetic appeal was the selling point. Relaxing, quiet with a calming ambiance! The best calamari I have ever eaten and I’m not a fan of this dish. Service was top notch. Highly recommended ✌🏼💛🌊☀️

We came in on a Saturday night. As expected on the island we had a wait which was fine. We ordered 3 Moscow mules and one rum and coke at the bar while we waited. The bill for the drinks was 70.00. There wasnt much sitting room at the bar but some wrap around bench sitting outside so we did that. After about an hour and 30 we got called and sat on their back patio area. They had plenty of fans to keep us all cool. The bread that was bought to the table was amazing!! We ordered fried green tomatoes which were very good and Brussels, thank goodness our waitress told us that for some reason when the Brussels come so do the flies, so just to be prepared, she was right!! But we managed okay. Once she took them away no more flies. I ordered the shrimp and grits, let me tell you it was the best I have ever eaten. The grit cake in the center and the sauce with plenty of sausage and shrimp, it was chefs kiss. My husband ordered the special which was I believe halibut and it was like butter. Great atmosphere and the waitress was very attentive. Definitely will be our go to place when we visit in the future.

The 1st thing we experienced was ordering our drinks and asking the waitress 20 minutes later where our cocktails were. She said that was a normal time due to it being a craft bar. (Ive never waited that long for drinks ever) We went during the week in August (8th) it wasn't that busy. The food was average and edible besides the brussel sprouts (avoid). Everything took so long that by the time we got our food it was almost closing time (went over an hour before closing) and we felt a bit rushed. The steak we ordered was supposed to be med rare but most of it was med well. So many other options on the beach to choose from. Quite dissapointed. Won't be returning. Dessert was good, we got that to go.

What an incredible experience at The Waterfront on Anna Maria Island! The view alone is absolutely breathtaking. And the food? Outstanding! I had the best blue mussels in garlic sauce of my life - perfectly cooked, flavorful, and unforgettable. Everything else we tried was amazing as well, from taste to presentation. Beautiful atmosphere, fantastic food, and a view that makes you want to stay longer. Highly recommend!

Wait was around 15 min and well worth it. Started out with a fresh loaf of bread with a vinaigrette sauce. Ordered the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese and they were delicious. Ordered the fried shrimp and it was some of the freshest and biggest shrimp I have eaten. Shrimp was served with the best tasting mashed potatoes that we all loved. Others in my party had the shrimp and grits and it was like no other shrimp and grits we have had before. The shrimp was served over the grits with a sauce that was delicious. I would have a hard time choosing between the two if I ate at this place again. A little expensive but worth every dollar

We stopped in early for lunch to beat the crowd. Seating inside was full so we sat on the front porch overlooking the water. Even in the heat it was comfortable with all the fans they had. I ordered grouper tacos with pineapple coleslaw and it was excellent. The two tacos had large chunks of grouper and it was more than satisfying. My wife had thr BLT on a croissant severd with Neuskes bacon and plenty of it. The server was very attentive. There is also a large salt water fish tank inside so next time we'll try to sit inside. Prices were reasonable and the view was great. This place is worth the trip.

Harry's Grill is a popular neighborhood spot on Anna Maria Island, known for its delicious burgers and local craft beers. The restaurant offers a pet-friendly outdoor patio where visitors can enjoy live music and even play cornhole games. With an impressive menu featuring options like bacon-wrapped shrimp and hot honey-crusted pork loin, Harry's Grill has become a favorite night spot on the island. Additionally, the restaurant hosts Sunday brunch with top dishes like scrambled eggs and breakfast burritos.
The patio setting was quite nice, creating a pleasant atmosphere for our dinner. The food was enjoyable, and the music added a lovely touch to the overall experience, enhancing the ambiance.

Great atmosphere, loved sitting in the garden and the live music. I ordered the shrimp grilled, but appeared to be steamed, and under seasoned. Risotto was very good. My husband didn’t care for the red snapper, however to be fair, it was his first time having it. The waitress seemed a bit miserable which is a shame because it takes away from your patrons experience.

We loved the fun music at Harry’s! The shrimp was super good and fresh. The seashell salad is a must. Would come back!

Shrimp po’boy, shrimp tacos, and onion rings were 10/10!!! Food came out really fast, and service was great! Would totally recommend!

The service was fine, but the food was an absolute disaster. That burger wasn’t even worth a dollar, let alone thirty. The shrimp appetizer tasted like rubber, the burgers like nothing at all (plain meat no seasoning at all), and somehow two beers, one tiny appetizer, and two sad burgers added up to ninety-eight dollars. I wouldn’t go back if the meal was free. We barely ate, paid our bill and went down the street to eat. If you're looking for great food The Porch was phenomenal.

Floridays Woodfire Grill & Bar on Anna Maria Island offers a charming and whimsical beach-themed retro-style Florida dining experience. The restaurant features a gigantic outdoor palm-thatched hut with stunning views of the serene intercoastal waterway, making it the perfect spot to enjoy the balmy Florida breeze and watch yachts traverse the Anna Maria Sound.
Loved everything about this spot—great food, friendly service, and unbeatable waterfront views! We came with a group and shared apps like loaded chicken nachos, peel-and-eat shrimp, calamari, ahi poke, and grouper bites. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the margaritas were on point. The staff was super welcoming, and the laid-back, coastal vibe made it easy to settle in and enjoy golden hour over the Anna Maria Sound. Perfect post-beach stop or sunset dinner spot—can’t wait to go back!

I had a decent experience at Floridays Bar and Grill. The food was good—not amazing, but solid enough to enjoy a meal. Service was friendly, though a bit on the slow side, especially when waiting on drink refills. There was also a faint smell from the nearby water that was a little off-putting at first, but it didn’t ruin the overall vibe. The atmosphere was relaxed and the location has its charm. With a few small improvements, this place could be great.

A nice experience at lunch today. First there were 13 of us and Katie did a great job. Clam chowder, grouper and calamari were reported as excellent. My Cuban was good. The Nawlins burrito was also reported as good. Portions were all pretty large. A good experience. Recommend you stop in. PS I am never a fan of a mandatory tip added to the bill.

We had the pleasure of Dan being our server for the evening whilst on holiday in Anna Maria. We were lucky enough to sit outside, they lit all the lanterns and turned on the fans (even though it was only us outside). The food was incredible and the service was perfect! Here’s your review: We had such a wonderful experience at Salt and Bar! The shrimp pasta was absolutely amazing — perfectly cooked pasta, tender shrimp, and a delicious sauce that had just the right amount of flavor. My kids were thrilled with their meals too, especially the cheeseburger, which my daughter rated a solid 5 out of 5! To make the evening even more special, the chef personally came out to greet her, which completely made her night. It was such a thoughtful touch and really added to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Dan, the manager was great too and told us about the history of the restaurant and Anna Maria. It’s definitely on the price side but everything on the island is expensive. Treat yourself to a wonderful dinner! ,

We are locals who work on the farm at Myakka Trail Rides and we like to take Anna Maria beach trips every couple of weeks to escape the farm. Today we discovered Salt Bar & Table and would highly recommend it to anyone who is either planning a trip to Anna Maria or locals just like us who wants to have a “staycation” day. Our server Harrison was very friendly and attentive, all drinks and food were brought in a timely manner. We absolutely loved Spicy Shrimp appetizer. Their Happy Hour Starts at 3:30 and has some great offerings for food and drinks. Atmosphere is very pleasant with outside patio and inside AC sitting area. We also got a chance to chat with the manager who was very friendly as well. Perfect afternoon for me and my husband with the beach and a lunch! We will be back! Attila and Dasha

SALT was the perfect way to end our vacation, the food and drinks were incredible as well as the service! They do take reservations but there was one table left and most of the bar was open. Stay away from this horrible dinning experience, asked for seafood pasta to be garlic oil comes out with only pure olive oil like the one you serve to kids, out of clams supposedly substituted for more shrimp, dish comes out with 3 mini shrimps and please dont say is homemade pasta, i own a restaurant myself this is far from anything homemade. Lets not forget to mention the pasta dish is $45. My wifes main dish was burned and soo dry and the response of server was Sure i get you more sauce.. horrible horrible horrible. Surprised how they are in business and more surprised by other good reviews

Anna Maria Island is a charming barrier island off the coast of Florida, offering wide beaches and clear aqua waters. It's a perfect getaway destination, free from tourist crowds and bustling city life. The island features a 1911 wooden pier, along with shops, cafes, galleries, and seafood restaurants.
This was our first visit and I loved everything about it! The first condo we stayed out was right across the street from the beach and we walked there daily. It was a super easy walk. The water was soooo clear and warm, we went in May. We were able to walk to restaurants and shopping areas. Everything is very convenient and the beaches and restaurants were not crowded at all! Definitely recommend Anna Maria island if you like vacations without the crowd of Panama City beach!

It's such an amazingly beautiful place to visit. Their recovery from last years hurricane was impressive! The beaches are beautiful. Some are busier than others, there's plenty to pick a couple favs. There are plenty of restaurants to get a great meal. At Bayfront Park there was live starfish and sand dollars(they were not harmed for pics and were quickly placed back in water), and the beach infront of the beach house restaurant has shark teeth - you just need to look.

Cortez Kitchen is a charming seafood restaurant located in the heart of the historic fishing village of Cortez. The open-air wood structure offers stunning views of Sarasota Bay and a lively atmosphere with live entertainment and a full bar. Owned by Joe Oelker for about two decades, this spot is beloved by locals and tourists alike. Guests can enjoy classic seafood dishes like blackened mahi mahi sandwiches while listening to live music from blues and roots rock bands on the outdoor dock.
Cortez Kitchen is truly a hidden gem! When you first pull up, it might look like a little hole-in-the-wall spot, but don’t let that fool you—it ended up being the best restaurant I visited on Anna Maria Island. Our server, Michael, was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond. I had never tried clams before, and she made a special effort to bring me a couple just so I could experience them. Turns out…they were delicious! Every single bite of food was excellent. The grouper was fresh and perfectly prepared, the drinks were top-notch, and you can tell everything is fresh caught right there. The entire meal was outstanding from start to finish. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this spot. Cortez Kitchen completely exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to come back

Dining at the Cortez Kitchen gave us a nice vacation like, waterfront dining experience. Live music, grouper bites, fried shrimp Buffalo style, grouper dinner and great drinks. We actually were going to eat next door but there was too long of a wait so we were able to eat here, and I was not disappointed! It was our first day in Bradenton and we wanted some authentic seafood. I got the Grouper and it was delicious. My husband got it blackened and that's what I would get next time. The only complaint I have is the man playing the guitar, who was fantastic, was way too loud and we couldn't talk easily with the people at our table. I just wish they would have turned down his speaker a bit. We had a party of 6. And there were plenty of other seating arrangements for different sizes of parties. Bar seating, tables, high tables, etc. I would definitely go here again.

We have eaten at the Cortez Kitchen since 1994. It has been a terrific favorite and we have had the greatest meals (Cheeseburgers mostly) that you could ever hope to have. I used to love your sushi too. We came in from KC, MO to celebrate a 58th birthday for our daughter. The service was great. We had grouper, cheeseburger meal, salmon dinner and the food was so overcooked. Salmon almost burned, hush puppies burned, grouper way over cooked and I had the traditional cheeseburger and fries. Fried burned. The ginormous burger patty was rare….even past rare…..and I like them rare. The beef was cold, it was so rare. Way too much beef!!!! So what has happened???? Where did our wonderful Cortez Kitchen Cheeseburger go??? My bill was $150.00 + tip…….where did our fave restaurant go???? What has happened????? So disappointed.

This was my first eating experience at Cortez Kitchen. We saw that there were specials on a Sunday and I had a gift card burning a hole in my pocket. When we arrived we sat ourselves as the sign directed, we weren't greeted by a server for about 7 minutes (no biggy). However during the ordering and eating process we felt very rushed. The waitress immediately asked what we wanted to drink, then when I asked hesitantly just told us the mixed drink specials (nothing about the buckets. When she came back with the drinks she wanted our food order immediately, I told her we were still deciding but we'd like to start with the loaded nachos special. As soon as that came out we ordered a couple apps so we could get a better idea what we'd like being our first time. The food was amazing! The Loaded fries were overflowing with cheese, bacon and deliciousness, the buffalo grouper bites were lightly coated in the sauce and cooked to perfection, some of the BEST fried okra I've had in a while and the Brussels sprouts were top notch. When we finished eating this is where the service changed from rushed to a long wait. Our waitress took a while to come back to us and we asked for boxes and the check, she promptly came back with the boxes and check, I added my gift card and credit card to the check folio and we then sat there for 15 minutes with no waitress in site. I was trying to make eye contact with the bartender but she was busy on her phone or at the other end of the bar with guests. We will be back, but we'll probably ask for a different waitress if it's possible and this young lady is working the deck.

Mr Bones BBQ is a unique and laid-back restaurant that has been a staple in Holmes Beach since 1992. They offer an eclectic menu featuring BBQ, Indian, Greek, and Tex-Mex cuisine. Their famous dishes include barbeque ribs, pork, and chicken dusted with Mr. Bones Dry Rub and served with a choice of five homemade sauces. In addition to their diverse BBQ offerings, they also serve Southern food like Jambalaya and Crawfish Gumbo.
Traveling for ball and wanted something unique… BBQ meets Indian and New Orleans is how we describe it. At first we thought we were a little skeptical and then was pleasantly surprised. This is the beach gang, where things are slower price and a little more expensive… it’s just how it rolls. But the service was friendly, the beer ( in a coffin) cold and food … delicious! Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free dishes available. We had the finicky 5 and 12 year old, the only fast food teens and the strict meat and potatoes dad. All were happy! Chicken and pork extremely tender. Sides were different …again with the Indian/New Orleans tastes… so good. Beers I will fuss were too pricy but…. If you want unique, funky, different… try it! Support your local island business. PS… don’t ask for any condiment… they don’t carry a one. The flavor is in the food.

Very good BBQ sauce and tender ribs with decent portions at a reasonable price. My daughter ordered the chicken wrap and liked it a lot. My wife ordered the salad with bbq pulled pork. She wasn't very impressed because the pork was very dry which means it was a little old. Small place, friendly service and pretty quick.
Doug D — Google review
A friend who is a local recommended we try Mr Bones, and I’m glad we listened. It’s easy to miss but tasty. Prices were higher than expected for a hole-in-the-wall, but the lunch and sandwich menu gave us options. I got the bbq pork sandwich on garlic bread with a side of potato salad. The pork was delicious; the bread was good but had a fish/crayfish smell and taste that turned me off a bit. This was also true of the complimentary garlic bread they brought to the table. My husband liked it, and it may be a seasoning I’m not familiar with—they have a lot of New Orleans and Indian flavors. My husband got the 1/2 rack of baby back ribs with a side of baked beans; both were very good! I’d love to try the cheesy grits sometime!

A hole in the wall you must check this place out. They have a big selection of beers, and a good variety of different foods. The Thai Curry Vegetable place was delicious, and if you get lucky, try out their vegan cherry pie 👌🏻
Sebastian G — Google review
Small place with a small menu, but the staff was helpful and food tasty. I decided to go with the BBQ pulled chicken. The BBQ sauce it is marinated can be chosen by one of their 5 sauces. I told the waitress I preferred smokey flavored barbecue sauces, so she brought out a little sample of the two smokiest. She advised against a particular sauce for the meal I chose for rational texture reasons. So I appreciated that and decided on the regular BBQ sauce. The sides were also delicious. Had BBQ beans and candied yams. Deserts differ from time to time, but the chocolate cream pie was quite delightful... And this coming from someone who doesn't always care for chocolate. The decor was very impressive for such a small place. Color and eye catching without being obnoxious or too loud.

Very diverse menu with many different styles of food. Ordered the 1/2 pound bones burger with their bbq sauce and a side of baked beans, both of which were absolutely delicious. Their drink selection from "the coffin" is also super. Personally I got a cherry cider ale and was not disappointed, will definitely be returning in the future!

Tommy Knockers is a small-town watering hole with a fun and friendly atmosphere, making visitors feel right at home. The bar offers great drinks and a beautifully decorated space. With live sports and a diverse group of patrons, it's always a fun experience to visit this gem of a place. The staff, including the owner and bartender, are known for their friendliness and great service.
We just love this little bar, great atmosphere, great people who are just plain down to earth and the beer is the cheapest on the Island. If you want a good old chit chat with the locals this is the place for you and we are from the UK and had many good nights in there, so we decided to go back in May 2025, see Ya`ll then.

Nestled within the Compass by Margaritaville Hotel, Compass Bar & Chill is the ultimate spot to unwind and grab a bite. With a menu featuring delicious options like Compass Nachos, quesadillas, and mouthwatering bacon cheeseburgers, there's something for everyone. For those seeking healthier fare, the Power Bowl combines fresh spinach, romaine, quinoa, chickpeas, feta cheese, and Roma tomatoes drizzled with lemon-tahini dressing.
Everyone here is just absolutely amazing, drinks are spot on, food is yummy and the views are the best.

Cindy brought great banter, however she had way too many tables and guests and take care of us in a timely manner. I charge that to management and not Cindy. I think she did her very best. Took us a long time to get silverware, water etc.

Based on the excellent reviews, and the absolutely BEAUTIFUL bar & hotel area inside, we were excited to grab lunch at Compass Bar & Chill. We walked in and while the person at the front desk looked up, she didn't greet us. We walked over to the bar/restaurant area and it was completely empty. We checked the hours again to make sure they were open, and then we noticed one table of people outside, so we decided to grab a spot at the bar. The bar itself was beautiful and well-stocked and I saw someone's purse and half-gone Starbucks on the counter, so we figured we'd wait a minute - and that someone must have just run to the kitchen or restroom. After more than five minutes, we finally got up to leave, and just as we did, a woman came out from the kitchen. She looked at us, and I asked, "Are you actually open?" to which she responded, simply, "yeah." There was no "How can I help you?" or acknowledgement that we'd been waiting. When I said, "thank you," and continued to walk away, she said nothing more. The service was pretty disappoint here, and it stinks that we never got to find out if the food was actually good.

We always have a great experience here. Easy going, casual, laid back atmosphere. From the hammocks on the marina deck, to the lounge chairs at the pool, this place screams, "pull up a seat & relax". The staff is super friendly & the patrons have always been a nice mix of people (neighborhood locals, business travelers, wedding parties, vacationers, etc) We travel alot & always make a point to try to stop off here for a day or two-just to chill & wind down.

ASK FOR BROOKE! SHE IS MOST AMAZING!!!!! GREAT DRINKS! And we had a crowd of people! She was so laid back and cool! We came back again today and asked for Brooke. She never ever disappoints! Makes the best vodka tonic with a splash of cranberry. So enjoyed our time here!

Some friends invited me to join them at this hotel bar, just yards from Anna Maria Island. First of all the ocean view is amazing. The staff is super friendly. I ordered the chicken quessadillas and they were great. Definitely recommend!

Sandy took great care of us this evening! Our party of 4 had the red snapper sandwiches and the coconut shrimp. They were all delicious. Thank you for your great service Sandy! See you next time!

It's worth the trip to Compass Bar and Chill. Today was Taco Tuesday. Chef Ernesto didn't skimp on the fish, beef or chicken. Bartender Crystal is a true professional. Saw many patrons enjoying soccer on the big screen.

Notable street
Bridge St is a charming and vibrant street located in Bradenton Beach's Historic Old Town District. It is lined with boutiques, restaurants, and artisanal shops, offering a diverse range of gourmet dining experiences and artisanal craftsmanship. Once a lifeline connecting the island to the mainland, it now thrives as a cultural and leisure hub.
Fun, eclectic shopping experience on Anna Maria Island. The nearby pier is a beautiful place to take a break from all the seaside fun.

They need better parking here. There no way I’m paying $16 for “public parking”.
Parker H — Google review
This is a famous and very nice shopping and dining location in Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria island. A great choice of restaurants popular with locals and visitors alike. Good for strolling. There is an easy access to a l9ng fishing pier where you can see pelicans and many fish in the water. There are also occasional boat tours that deprt from that pier, but the pier is not busy or crowded. I highly recommend visiting the area in the evening when it becomes vibrant with good music streaming from the restaurants. There are also good streat musitians playing here and there. One problem though is finding free street parking but there is a paid parking lot available, too. I'd recommend taking a local buss or trolley (so called Minkey Bus) especially if you plan on drinking. Busses are free while trolley drivers appreciate a small tip. I highly recommend visiting the street any time of the day but especially in the evenings.
