Stumbled upon this speakeasy bar looking for a drink or two late night. Atmosphere very nice - yet the drinks were somewhat average as opposed to the vibrant atmosphere. We ordered some snacks to go along with our drinks but they never came

This is a hidden bar with no clear sign board on the entrance. You literally need to ring a bell and the waiter have to come and get you. We took a while to figure out how to ring that bells which also keeps us exited to go in. Upon entry, there is a hidden door which looks like a library with lots of books there. Has a little Harry Potter vibes. Once u entered. The set up blew us off. It so nice inside. Now.. we had 4 different drinks and it was awesome. All 4 of them had their own unique taste and it was top of the world kind. totally loved it. But please be reminded that the price is definitely on the high side

A true speakeasy experience, with a hidden entrance and cozy lounge interior that transports you back to the 1920's. The cocktails were innovative and a treat to look at in addition to being delicious. There were small snacks available to order for those who need to eat while they drink. All in all a great place for an intimate date or a fancy meetup with a larger group.

What a place! This was the best bar experience I’ve ever had. Since we went on a weekday when it wasn’t too crowded, we didn’t need a reservation, but you probably would on the weekend. From the warm welcome to the moment our drinks arrived, the service was wonderful. The place is so classy, the cocktails are delicious, and I’d definitely recommend it

Super cool vibe! You really feel like you’re stepping back in time when you walk into this bar. I visited on a Sunday evening – it would have been the icing on the cake if there had been some live music that day. I had their green Chartreuse on ice, while the people I was with tried some of their exciting cocktails. I can’t comment on the taste of the cocktails myself, but they definitely looked interesting.

The staff is very polite. Most of the cocktails we tasted were unique and flavorful. I wouldn’t recommend the ‘Bonnie and Clyde´ though due the red color it has on top of the ice (you cannot avoid it due to the height), which can easily make your nose painted red for the rest of the night.

Balderdash is a great cocktail bar serving delicious and creative drinks. We especially enjoyed the ones called Zombies, which came with fire and added a fun twist to the experience. A great place for unique cocktails and a lively atmosphere.

By far the most amazing bar in Copenhagen. Wish I had enough words to describe the atmosphere, the service and the fantastic and definitely need another round quality of drinks. The staff is truly the most outstanding point of visiting the venue. Loving, caring and truly immersed into their job.

I have had a very memorable night in Copenhagen! As we walked in, we greeted with super lovely staffs very friendly, laid back with good humor and easy to talk to. When you have questions about cocktails, they have answer for you. Very interesting taste of cocktails and atmosphere also really nice. The bar is not very big but super cozy inside. But I'll give hospitality 100/10 will definitely be back and bring loads of friends 😆 Recommended!!!

I loved this place so much, I went twice in just a few days. Their menu allows you to experiment with taste, sight and smell while enjoying a beverage of your choice. I loved trying the Duck Carnitas Old Fashioned and the Tiki drink (I forgot the name). My friend had a great truffle flavored milkshake that she loved and my other friend enjoyed the Mushroom Alexander. The staff is absolutely wonderful and accommodates our group both nights without a reservation. I can’t wait to return next time I’m in Copenhagen.

An amazing cocktail bar in the heart of Copenhagen. We were just walking by and something about the outside of the bar caught my eye. They weren’t even open yet, and the owner beckoned us inside and let us sit at the bar with some complimentary champagne while we waited for them to finish setting up for opening. Then they proceeded to entertain us for several hours with amazingly creative and delicious cocktails as well as conversation. Iskren and Hugo were both super friendly and entertaining as they prepared cocktails with energy and passion. Energy. Passion. Great. But how were the drinks? They have two menus: a classics menu of their staple cocktail favorites and a seasonal menu of rotating cocktails. First, I had the green apple and wasabi milk punch, which was fresh and sweet with balancing tartness from green apple. Then the duck fat old fashioned was as good as it sounds. Finally, I had their staple Mushroom Alexander, which is gin, chocolate, 3 kinds of mushrooms, coconut cream and deer heart. This was easily in the running for the best cocktail I’ve ever had in my life! Such a cool experience and cool bar with amazing people and vibes. If you’re in Copenhagen, plan to stop by here on the first day for some drinks because you’ll likely want to go back multiple nights while you’re here.

After moving to Copenhagen, I’ve been exploring different places in the city, and Ruby Bar has quickly become one of my favourites. The vibe here is just perfect – classy, comfortable, and not too loud. It’s a great place to unwind after work or to take friends when they’re visiting. Their cocktails are top-notch – very creative and well-balanced. You can really tell that the bartenders know what they’re doing. They also suggest drinks based on your mood or taste, which I really liked. The location is central, but the entrance is quite subtle, almost like a secret spot. But once you step inside, it feels warm and welcoming. It’s slightly on the pricier side, but for the quality of drinks and experience, I feel it’s totally justified. Highly recommended if you enjoy good cocktails in a classy setting!

Outstanding cocktail experience! The “doorman” was very friendly, welcoming us to the cocktail bar minutes before last call. We chose to sit by the bar to watch how each cocktail was made. I’d also recommend checking out the rest of the bar for the decor. My favorite drink was the Risalamande (clarified), but honestly, you can’t go wrong with the choices here.

We had drinks from the menu and a couple drinks that we knew with different recommend spins on the original recipes and all were fantastically executed. Ruby is a fantastic date-friendly cocktail bar in Copenhagen, offering a cozy, rustic atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a stylish Scandinavian apartment. We were seated by the window with a beautiful view, which added to the charm of the evening. The living-room-style seating makes it feel more like visiting a friend’s home than a bar, and the staff were welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. The cocktail menu leans toward creative, modern options rather than classics, but everything we tried was expertly made—and I have no doubt the bartenders could mix up any classic if asked. Drinks are on the pricier side, but the quality and ambiance make it worth it. Given its popularity, I’d definitely recommend booking in advance.

We only tried the craft beer, but it was excellent. Each type we sampled had rich and unique taste that stood out. The staff were very friendly and the cozy atmosphere made it perfect for quiet evening with family. It felt warm, welcoming and unhurried. The outdoor seating was very lovely, with warm lights that created very relaxing mood. It fet like a cozy place where you can enjoy your drink.

Terrible experience. My friends and I walked up and the security guard immediately shut the gate on us, saying there was “no space,” even though the place was nowhere near full. As people were leaving, we asked again and were rudely dismissed. When we politely asked if we could wait for a table, his exact response was: “If I say no, it’s a no.” The arrogance and disrespect were unbelievable. This staff member needs to reexamine how he speaks to customers.

Down an alley off of a main street in Copenhagen is a cocktail bar that's more of an oasis. My buddy and I arrived at 6pm on a Sunday evening, just in time for the bartender to open the giant gates to the outdoor patio. We walked inside and sat at a large booth table. Here's our experience: 1) Cocktails: The menu is only two pages, but each cocktail is quality. Having a sweet tooth, I ordered the R&R with Roe and Company whiskey, rhubarb liqueur, raspberries, lemon and sugar. I can honestly say it's the best cocktail I've ever have. Even with a price tag of $20, I almost ordered another, because of how balanced it was made. 2) Space: It's down an alley. Enough said. The outdoor patio and the inside space are simple, but well designed. 3) Service: It's superb- attentive, fast and friendly. If you have any questions, the bartender will guide you through the menu.

My wife and I dropped by this place with 8 family members and friends a Thursday evening. They had no room for a large party like us inside, but we got seated in the glasses and covered patio section with heaters. Which was very fine. This place makes incredible cocktails - very exiting and tasty. A bit expensive - but fair I guess taking into account taste and combinations. Definitely a place to visit for cocktails.

What a cool place for drinks. Every cocktail ordered was delicious. We also got the Comte Plate (obvi needed if drinking these cocktails). Most places I get wine cause I’m not sure if people can mix or not. Here- skip the wine- the cocktails are creative and tasty. The vibe was perfect for meeting a group of friends to hang out. The service was also great. The bartenders are very attentive. Really great experience.

A fine experience, better than your regular place for fine drinks. Its a nice mix of a pub and a cocktail bar, so you can get whatever you are in the mood for on the day 🍻 They make a lot of different cocktails, but most of them were honestly just a lot of foam with a slight hint of something and otherwise the same generic alcoholic taste. The drinks werent bad, but nothing special🧉🍸 They werent that pricy though, so thats nice, also they have happy hour every day for 1 hour, and loads of seats outside, though the bar is located in the shadow all 24 hours of the day 😬

The danish Hygge “cosy” fits Gensyn so well. It has many elements that make sitting on the bar and enjoying a great cocktail a pure pleasure. Nice staff, good music and fairly priced.

This cocktail bar had been recommended by many people, and it was one of the places I wanted to visit even before coming to Denmark. My expectations were not only met but exceeded. The cocktails were of very high quality, each one with its own unique and memorable flavor. The staff were friendly, helpful, and showed great knowledge of the drinks on the menu. One of my friends is a big fan of smoky Isle-region whiskeys, and the bar had an impressive selection, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere was cozy yet refined, with a warm and rich vibe that made the evening feel special. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality, creativity, and service make it absolutely worth it.

Loved the cocktails! We had the tomatio, peachy bastard, tiki Verde (packs a punch of ginger!), laurel, and shandyman. Our server was also fantastic and so friendly. They serve light bar bites as well.

A nice cocktail bar in Copenhagen, my first stop in the town. Recommended by my bartender friend in London, so it is a good bar acknowledged by some professional drinkers. For me, it is above the standard, everything I tried was good, but nothing too special in make a huge impressions.

This is an interesting place for a craft cocktail. They are really well made - but they have a very characteristic spirit… made with some ingredients that you do not find any where else - for instance a drink with kantarels in it. Never tried that before. My wife, our grown daughter and myself dropped by a Wednesday evening in JAN 2025 for a cocktail. The place was quite crowded but we were able to get a table by the window next to the entre. They took our order fairly quickly and the cocktails were served shortly thereafter - so no prob. I enjoyed all three cocktails, my wife liked two of them, and my daughter liked only one. So no doubt they are all special. So make sure to bring a certain degree of curiosity when drinking here. Definitely a place to visit when in Copenhagen.

Had a drink here my very first night in Copenhagen and can’t say enough about the ambience. Very cool outdoor space with colourful light jars and neat vibe indoors. We did t pick the best of drinks but really enjoyed the vibe! Would recommend to check it out if you’re in the area.

Decor is pretty sweet. Beer selection was hard to judge since none of it was in English, but they had some interesting choices I gathered, my own selection was average, but just luck of the draw. The dry cider was very good.

Came here to grab some Glogg and also tried some special mezcal they had on rotation. Everything was delicious and the vibe inside is very cozy. Wasn’t too busy during a weeknight but I can see this place getting packed on the weekend. Would recommend for a drink if you’re in the area!

Overall very bad experience. It took more than 30 minutes get our drinks. They came with the wrong drinks, witch they did correct. The drinks were not balanced, and had a bad taste. We had to almost argue and explain to the stafg what to do. We got charged fore more drinks then we consumed, as we rejected the first. We eventually got it right, but my frinds Birthday was not a success to say the least. It's very sad. All 8 of us had a bad experience and never coming back. Un acceptable.

We were four friends out for drinks and we found just the right bar. As soon as we got in, we were served water. The bartender soon explained the bar menu and recommended according to our preferences. He was were professional and really laid his heard in the drinks. Great service, great drinks and great atmosphere. Well done 💪 We will come back soon😘

A mezcaleria wasn’t what I expected in Copenhagen but the people here were super friendly and gave me tons of recommendations for exploring the city — and made some excellent drinks

Really nice place, I only went in for a drink and to be able to sit outside for my Poulette burger. I had an elderflower kombucha, and it really hit the spot. The real win for this place is the toilet though, one of the best toilets I've been to, the decoration is just superb, has to be seen to be believed.

Pompette is the place to be 🍷 we have been coming here for a couple of times now and we were never disappointed. The place is so cozy, both outside and inside. The staff is always welcoming and ready to help you find which wine suits you best. We always take the orange wine, which is made directly by them, and we usually regret not taking a bottle haha. Bonus : take something from poulette, their burger place, after your “apéro”

Food: The ricotta & anchovy plate was really good and very unique. The only issue is that the plate for whatever reason did not come with bread so you would have to spend another 50dk just for the bread. So, a total of 125 dk for a small plate. Wine: I really enjoyed the wine but I’m generally interested in not just traditional wine but also natural wine but if that’s not your thing, then you should skip this place. I do think for 75dk, the pours are SMALL. It’s not served in wine glasses but rather desert wine glasses? To be honest, I’ve never had normal wine served in these tiny glasses… shrinkflation? Service: I do agree with others that considering this is a wine bar, there is little to no information about the wine… it seems more like the type of place for tourists that just want to go somewhere trendy to drink any kind of wine. No information written or verbally shared about the wine. The only description is “bubbles, white, red, orange, rose”. I’d say a little ridiculous given the fact that this is a wine bar. There are so many “reds” and “whites”… also, the person working the shift was a bit unfriendly... not rude, just not welcoming. He made no effort to explain anything at all. I enjoyed it but I don’t think I’d come back.

First things first, the ricotta cheese with anchovies was such an interesting and surprisingly good dish to go with our wines choices. Ossau Iraty was dry-creamish that made our expectations as from the cheese family. Pompette is friendly, is easy going and is warm enough to gather with your partner/friends/family. My partner and I got to taste few wines that brought new knowledge in terms of natural wines, and liked the overall drinking experience. Pompette offers bottle opening service and if not, organic wines by glasses. The vibe is really appealing as you may see customers willing to sit outside (1 degree) and smoke and probably talk about life :)

Brønnum consistently serves up delicious cocktails in a stylish setting. This time I tried the yuzu-based cocktail called Shibuya and it was absolutely fantastic. I could easily drink those all night. We sat outside to enjoy the warm weather, but the interior is also lovely and cosy during winter.

I always come here with my friends and colleagues after work. All the guys are very friendly and on the weekends they have a DJ, which is cool to have some good music playing! Keeps the atmosphere fresh. I love that they are doing some good classic cocktails. For sure you should try their spicy margarita!

Had a lovely summer brunch at Brønnum Bar in Copenhagen — such a stylish and aesthetic spot. The location is great, right near Kongens Nytorv, with a charming atmosphere both inside and out. Perfect place to sit back and enjoy a slow afternoon. The vibes were relaxed yet refined, and the wine selection was surprisingly good for a brunch setting. A great mix of ambiance, quality, and location. Definitely recommend if you’re in central CPH and want somewhere a little special for brunch or drinks.

Loved this place. Kindest and most wonderful staff both at the door and at the bar. We sat at the bar and had the most delicious cocktails and drinks. Really enjoyable vibe, would definitely become a regular if I lived in Copenhagen.

This was a lovely beautiful bar with classy music, polite staff, top notch drinks, and completely justified the prices. Now it is a beautiful bar with horrid music, staff that doesn’t really care, and it’s a party bar with party bar quality - and high end prices.

Nice bar with great atmosphere. But unfortunately I have to say this used to be a bar for queer people. Now it's 90% straights and not attractive to go to as a queer person anymore. Why don't straight people make their own friendly places and leave our places alone?

Still a nice, cosy, local and urban place to be. Now with bigger drinking options, however live music might not be present as it used to be. As a tourist in cph, I used to come here for a bier and live jazz each time visiting this city. I loved the wibe. Now it is a bit less attractive due to lack of live and spontaneous spirit, but the wibe is still there. At this place, youg ppl feels expirienced and smart while old ppl feels young again. This place definitely destroys any generation age gap.

Intimate bar in downtown Frederiksberg. Established in 1920 and has since then been a haven for quirky characters. Sunday’s jazz night, Wednesday’s sing-a-long night, and all the other nights are good too. The place is the essence of open-mindedness, meaning smokers and non-smokers are equally welcome and tolerates one another.

Such a shame that there is mostly smoke and no air flow because this is truly the loveliest time-machine of a bar. Romantic, hygge and filled with chansons, standards and sing a longs. But by the time you have the courage to sing, your lungs will have closed up and your clothes will turn ashen. Avoid until their policy changes, unless you can smoke it like a local! Cash only.

Great cocktail bar, amazing and unique flavor profile and not overly sugary. Classy presentation Bartender was super nice and attentive for being the only one serving and making drinks. Went earlier around 5pm so wasn't overly busy and a good start to the night, not sure how it is later but supposedly have a DJ and great sound system. Highly recommend to stop by

Great and unique cocktail bar with minimalistic look, which works very well with the ambiance. The staff was very nice and had great knowledge about the drinks and the music. We took 2 cocktails each and we recommend the pineapple bubbles ! The only thing is that it’s a bit pricey knowing that all the cocktails are already made/ bottled and not made like a real cocktail bar. Would definitely come back though 🍸🎷🪩🌃

Had a great time here at Bird. The cocktails are very good, and they have many interesting options. The melon cream soda was delicious and can highly recommend it. Also the ambiance and the decor of the place is fantastic and very nice to relax and decompress.

I lived in Texas for 3 years, and my wife grew up there. This met our expectation of a Danish take on “authentic” Texas barbecue. All to say, it’s very poorly executed. The closest items to authenticity were the brisket tenderness and the side sauces. The brisket was cooked well, but lacked flavor. The pulled pork was so dry it might as well have been chicken. The sausage did not seem home made. It was missing the snap, and texture of a true Texas barbecue sausage. The sides were even worse. The mac and cheese can be described as macaroni soup with “cheese” dye. It’s super watery. It looked like they didn’t drain the pasta water and just poured powdered cheese into the bowl. It was flavorless. The coleslaw looked creamy, but was super vinegary and tasted stale. I’ve had better barbecue in Massachusetts. TLDR: Steal their sauce and leave everything else behind.

Really enjoyed Warpigs it's pretty authentic to what they do in the US and they have it set up really well. Grab a beer, grab a tray, place your food order then find a space at the tables and get stuck in. The only slight negative was the brisket was a little dry but the flavours from the smoke and rubs were excellent. The sides are really good too and it's pretty decent value for money considering the quality

The ribs and brisket were absolutely amazing, tender and flavorful. They paired well with the coleslaw, mac ‘n’ cheese, pickles, and all the sauces, which were each delicious in their own way. The beer selection was also excellent and rounded out the meal perfectly. The only dish that didn’t quite match the level of the others was the chicken wings. They lacked the slow-cooked texture we were hoping for. The highlight there was really just the honey spicy sauce they were covered in.

For a place which specialises in smoked meats, the meats were absolutely disappointing. It was salty, dry and expensive. All the cuts were hard to chew. I got the trooper plate plus a cheesy sausage aka "special link". The sausage was lukewarm and the other meats were cold. Thats very disappoining for a plate which costs me €45. The mac 'n cheese was cold as well. Good creamyness but the macaroni was hard and the cheese taste was missing. Best thing on the plate was the coleslaw, had the right amount of sause. I really liked the choice of craft beers. I got a smoked beer the "anchestors memory". It pairs ok with the meats. But again, might be different if theu were edible. The ambiance was al right. It was loud but cosy. Theres no airco so you might get hot easily. The tables and seats were clean. To top it off there was no service for food and drinks. The cashiers were rushed and had a cold attitude. There was no time for explaining what they had. Overall, nice place but bad food.

No visit to Copenhagen is complete without a trip here. Brisket so good I would walk from the U.K. for it. Great beers too and my boys loved the afternoon vibe, fried shrimp and Mac n cheese!

Very good brunch but we ended up getting a tummy ache afterwards. Not sure if it was the coffee, or the food. But otherwise it was pretty tasty. Price point wise- quite expensive but a nice place.

I ha no expectations, and the place really blew me away. Great food and the service was top notch. I would recommend this to anybody, it was good. The only thing is the bitter coffee, it's a bit sad that having good food, and then having topped it off with bitter coffee, is a bit sad

The steak was of suboptimal quality, containing excessive connective tissue and unrendered fat. The prevalence of gristle and sinew significantly compromised the texture, resulting in a chewy and unpleasant eating experience.

A proper Copenhagen classic, with old-school décor, beautiful bathrooms, and a long outside terrace that makes the most of its central avenue location. It feels glamorous without tipping into faded, which is a rare balance. Breakfast and lunch seem to be the main draw, and my croque monsieur was solid and satisfying. A great choice if you want a touch of old-world charm in the middle of the city.

Food was great, as was the service. I really enjoyed the omelette with gluten-free toast. The highlight was the Bloody Mary. One of the best I have had in such a long time. It was spiced to perfection. They are gluten-free friendly.

Sokkelund is a charming spot with a cozy atmosphere and great service. The dishes were tasty, though the slice of bread for the Stjerneskud dish was a bit too thick for my liking. Overall, still a very nice place to dine in Frederiksberg. 🍽️✨

Food was phenomenal, amazing taste and presentation.. we loved everything we ordered.. The reason for my 4 star is that it took 30 mins to serve the grilled waffles, then after we asked they served the open face sandwich after another 36 minutes… slow service although the place was not full!

Great place for brunch. Attentive and friendly staff. Poured us the pairing beer for the desert during lunch to satisfy our palate. Would come out again. Schnitzel was amazing.

Over hyped classic pub food. I visited for lunch and got an open faced sandwich the schnitzel and fried cheese. Sitting at the bar counter looking at the kitchen all three single guests commented on the very slow service. The team were very nice, but overwhelmed. I wanted to do a few glasses of natural wine, but my server was not completely familiar with the list and I ended up going for a bottle of something familiar to avoid some more awkward interactions. It’s a shame that they didn’t know the list. The open sandwich of chicken and asparagus was great. My schnitzel was well cooked but not amazing. And I was advised to go for the fried cheese for dessert. This was a massive chunk of breaded cheese that was not very flavourful. Overall it was nicely cooked pub food. But nothing was great. This would be fine, if the prices were pub prices. Whilst there is not much wrong with Barr it is not worthy of the hype or price in my opinion.

We had a great evening at Barr — the food and atmosphere were both excellent. As a family, we really enjoyed the relaxed yet upscale vibe, which made for a memorable fine dining experience without the typical formality or stress. We ordered the schnitzel, cod, beef tartare, and Mackerel fish. The schnitzel was the standout — perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The beef tartare was also a highlight, incredibly fresh and well-seasoned. The desserts were decent, though not particularly memorable. All in all, while it may not have been the absolute best high-end meal I’ve ever had, the overall experience — from the food to the setting — was top-notch. If you’re looking to spend a relaxed evening enjoying quality food in a beautiful space, Barr is definitely worth a visit.

We had the set menu for four and really enjoyed the food. The restaurant was very accommodating with dietary restrictions, which we appreciated. Standout dishes were the beef tartare and the cod — both beautifully done and full of flavor. Overall, a great food experience. That said, the service felt a bit dry and could have been warmer to match the quality of the meal.

We had a 4 courses dinner menu. The baked cod with spinach made a great start, it was delicious. The beef tartar mixed with gooseberries created an interesting flavor combination. The dessert was a bit acidic for my liking. The restaurant was bustling, with the staff attentively serving customers. I liked how lively this place is, so I could unwind and relax while enjoying my food. Be sure to make a reservation, as this place is always full of diners.

Fantastic 3-course lunch! Waffle with vendace roe, classic schnitzel, and fresh raspberry sorbet – all perfectly cooked and beautifully served. We had a 3-course lunch menu that was a delight from start to finish. The waffle with vendace roe was absolutely fantastic – crisp, light, and full of flavor. The main course, a classic schnitzel with browned butter, capers, and crisp pickled cucumbers, was spot on. Dessert, a refreshing raspberry sorbet with salted crème anglaise, was both elegant and perfectly balanced. Friendly service and a beautiful view – well worth a visit! Thorsten knows what he is doing.

Overall a great place, not cheap but value for money feels much better than most restaurants in Copenhagen. This place is simple and not pretentious. Then the food is great, from starters to desserts. Only comments, having to pay 30-40kr for tap water when your overall bill is 1500kr is just wrong - but that is how Copenhagen works. Finally the restaurant is very small and very packed so it quickly gets too loud/ too hot. All in all I still strongly recommend, one of the best restaurants I have tried in the city.

Really beautiful and atmospheric restaurant, with incredible food. The restaurant is located on a beautiful off street, and has great design and a nice ambience. The food was incredible, small French dishes made perfectly. However, the service did not live up to the quality of the food and atmosphere. The waitress was rude and had an attitude, which unfortunately somewhat ruined the experience. The waitress was not helpful, and acted snooty with what we had ordered. We were told that food orders can only be made once, and not be motified, which seems absurd (this I have never encountered before), such a shame as we ordered to split the dishes between us and see if we we had space to try more of the menu. We only had this experience with the server who had our table. It was such a shame because everything else about the place was great.

A bib gourmand classic French bistro in the heart of Frederiksberg. If you like the classical french cuisine as well as the sometimes slow French way of handling costumers… Melee is the perfect place for you. We where are group of 6 people and main courses where shared food in bigger pots which worked out very well. Not a place a need to visit again, but worth a visit.

The simple monthly menu is based on 🇫🇷 dishes, such as confit 🦆, with some 🇩🇰 local flavors. It has been awarded Michelin 🍽️ since 2011 and has remained so to this day. The overall atmosphere is friendly and lively with a southern 🇫🇷 country style. At the same time, it is also a sister store of Anarki, which is also 🇩🇰 Michelin 🍽️. P1, signature 🇫🇷 country beef with 🥔, the beef is tender and chewy without very hard tendons, and the potatoes are soft, sweet and delicious without sticking to the teeth. P2, 🍞 fried in bran, the breadcrumbs provide a crispy and hard taste, and the 🦞 tastes just right, and will not be too hard due to poor heat control.

When in Copenhagen, I always go to Melee. Ingredients are fresh, as well as service is amazingly attentive.

Excellent food and service, wine card was one of the biggest I've seen and atmosphere was cozy. The menu is arranged for you to take several different dishes which let's you try out lots of delicious food like tartar, cream chanterelle (flødestuvet kantareller), beef, fois gras, vegetarian and basically something for every taste. Portions are medium sized, so you need more than one, and sharing is also a good idea. Tables and chairs could be bigger and a bit more comfortable and the place was quite loud, but food was as mentioned excellent, the wine was too and service was also superb.

Brus is brewing what you need. Lots of different beers and many other great drinks made in-house or close by. Lovely welcoming interior and outdoor seating. Friendly staff and fast service.

A lovely place, with a fantastic bar, a restaurant section, and a brewery too! I was here for lunch time with a friend, we enjoyed a delicious sandwich with slow cooked pork, and a few of their beers on tap. It is also possible to have samplers before ordering a beer. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

The wings might just have been the best wings I’ve ever eaten. I mean world championship level wings. The burger was rich, and I loved every single bite. Seriously good. Your taste buds will thank you. Wasn’t so keen on the chicken parm. Service was okay. Don’t forget to order at the bar. BRUS your chef needs a raise because those wings have been in my dreams every night since my visit.

The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly and kind. chicken wings, and fries were tasty. We also tried their beers, and they were very delicious.

Great Smash burgers on a cool corner in Nørrebro. Good atmosphere with a fun crowd on the weekend. Great selection of beers and a mixture of 2-4 person and long shared tables for bigger groups.

It is so sad and too bad - because the place, the area is so cool but when the people working there seems more interested in their friends hanging in the bar and talking to them instead of giving a paying guest waiting to order any attention - that is just unprofessional and if I was a manager I’d correct that. Also - no smiles from anyone - they looked really bored at work.

The vibes are good at Brus. Incredible selection of beer from Copenhagen and beyond. Whoever is in charge of the music selection should be given a raise, their taste is on point.

We had a wonderful and truly special evening at Ancestrale. The small guest room made us feel at home, and the Ancestrale team made sure that all our wishes were granted. The menu was out of this world — there were so many little details that made it exciting and delicious. The wine pairing was also well thought out and the selection of wines was perfect. I would highly recommend this place — it definitely deserves a 5/5 star rating!

We have just come back from the most wonderful experience at Ancestrale. We just stumbled across this beautiful wine bar on our way back from dinner in Vesterbro and were immediately drawn by the cosy atmosphere inside. The staff were wonderful - our waitress was highly knowledgeable and very friendly and welcoming. The interior was cosy and intimate, just what you need on a cold evening. We had a beautiful natural red wine by Nathalie Banes, another aspect that made this experience extra special - is that they try to stock many small independent producers. I would highly recommend this bar to anyone. The only critique I could give is that it would have been nice if there were some little complementary nibbles on the table to eat with our wine. However, overall a beautiful experience

Impeccable fermented food with great natural wine. The waiter was great and friendly, it's the speed of service that was unacceptable. Our 5 course menu took nearly 3 hours to complete which is just too slow for me personally.

Simple and tasty, this cozy restaurant is worth a visit. The service was great and our waiter really knew her wines (all of which are natural). We did wait quite a bit for the main but it didn’t take away from the overall experience.

They have a strict concept of local fish and veg in season. The current chef with no professional training is a master of textures and flavours. The wine selection is very carefully curated. 5 servings and accompanying wines will set you back 900 dkk, which is a bargain for the level of deliciousness you get! Cosy place too.

Had a nice evening with my mum here, and we loved absolutely everything! From the atmosphere, the music to the drinks, everything was perfect. The drinks were very interesting but also easy to digest, I'm not a big drinker so I found them a bit strong but they were very tasty nonetheless. Would definately go back when I have the chance! A cozy and vibey hangout spot for friends/ good comapny.

This is an excellent listening bar. I think they nailed the concept. The music is wonderful and it sounds so clear and inviting through their sound system. The cocktails are complex, interesting, and tasty without being obnoxious. Somewhat pricey compared to other cocktails but completely worth the price for the experience.

The drinks were very nice and not your usual bar menu. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, with a really aesthetic interior. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and I loved that they made you feel comfortable. Perfect place to unwind and enjoy good drinks.

Hands down best cocktails I had tried. Paradise martini is crisp but not too savory(so ymmv) and juts about right. Surprised that they have Penicillin on the menu which is quite common drink at the bars but often ruined being too sweet but it is about right at Bird. Overall great drinks and nice and chill environment !

One of my favorite cocktail bars in Copenhagen. Aesthetic place with a nice design. Cocktails are really good and well balanced. Most of them are bottled and ready to drink. Music is also an important part of the bar so they have selector all week. Top hospitality. Highly recommended.

Like the atmosphere and music, but service wasn’t great sitting at a table for at least an hour when a bartender comes over to tell us to move since someone else had booked this table, with no notice on the table of any bookings the way we were treated wasn’t great and no effort was made to move us to another table or apology. It was clearly a mess up on the tables on their part but no effort made to sort the situation.

Such a nice place! I love how the style is very thorough and all of the little nooks and crannies makes it feel very private when sitting at a table. There are 3 bars so you never have to wait too long to get a drink. The drinks are all very unique and the two I tried were very fresh and good. Overall I'd definitely recommend going there for a night out.

One of the best places for a party in Copenhagen. Cozy and fairly quiet lounge if you want to talk to someone and an always-crowded dance floor if you want to move. Delicious cocktails, variety of shots. Reasonable prices for such a nice bar. Good service, always.

One of the best bars in Copenhagen. Must attend. Very friendly door staff, and great decor and atmosphere. Bar staff are great and clientele even better. Copenhagen girls are dressed to impress so if you are too you are sure to have a great time. Definitely return on my next trip.

Way too crowded, can barely move. The people (customers) are rude, arrogant and pushing each other. Most of the reviews praise the music but in my opinion it's just vapid, can't even remember it. The cocktails (the reason why we ever entered the bar) were perfectly made and relatively large. The bartenders, however, were unfriendly and just trying to deal with every customer as fast as possible, probably due to the crowdedness of the place. I'd recommend to go there to have a cocktail when it's less busy and then continue to some other more cozy place.

One of my favorite places to go dance to. As you enter the bar you will be welcomed by this classy interior design, kind of like the "Mad man", but then you go further down to the basement through this corridor, where they have the dance floor and people are just going crazy on dancing. There is always a DJ in here, and from my experience very good ones.

The music is okay. House and early twenties pop, and hiphop. Be careful with how much they charge you. Many times i ordered 2 beers which supposed to be 100kr. One time i got charged for 175kr for 2 beers and water. One of the colleagues work there intentionally overcharged me.

4 stars for the wine, well curated, interesting and okay priced. 2 for the food, expensive and utterly forgettable. 95 kr for a “khachapuri” made from puff pastry and so small it fits in the palm of a hand is too much even for Copenhagen. The cheese “board” comes at the exorbitant price of 125 kr and features two cheeses in tiny quantities, and knäckebröd that disintegrates as soon as it is picked up. Service was really good, but definitely recommend to concentrate on the wine.

Den Vandrette feels like a hidden gem. You can tell that the team really cares about what they do — from the fresh ingredients to the thoughtful details on each plate. We left happy, full, and already planning our next visit.

What a true gem!!! A total must if you like relaxed vibes, amazing wine and super delish small plates Addi and Michal make this place the coolest with their really cool and laid back energy! The wine list is full of bangers (they have it all, succulent Loire stuff, wilder Georgian bangers, fun Spanish...) And the food... ideally you go very hungry and just order the whole menu twice... that’s what we did :0

Had heard a lot about this place. Four of us meandered from our hotel towards this restaurant. Seating was only outside- late evening- just perfect. This place mainly has tapas style food. We ordered the cheese platter and the scallops. For the wines, I was expecting more of a choice but eventually the lack of choice was more than made up by the quality. There were 2 red wines and we had both. The one I had- a Loire valley red - mind blowing. The other one was great too. Our elder daughter had an unfiltered white wine from Portugal - she loved it. All in all a very good evening.

Fantastic wines (also check out Rosforth & Rosforth) and great shareable food with very high quality but easy to approach. Reserve a table, otherwise you probably don’t fit in..

While we waited for our dinner reservation at nearby Barr, my friend and I stopped into Den Vandrette Vinbar, just off the main strip where Nyhavn is located. Stepping down a few stairs into a basement space, the entire place is cozy. Greeted by friendly staff, we were seated at a long community table and served still water right away. Asking the server for recommendations, we both landed on a natural white wine for 90 krone a piece. We also ordered the khachapuri, a Georgian cheese bread dish. It came out warm and the cheese oozed out as we cut into it. Den Vandrette was the perfect snack place before dinner. With the staff being so friendly, it was a warm experience.

Just a staple in Copenhagen’s wine and dining scene. Cosy surroundings and a fantastic cellar that regularly sees new wines to keep everything exciting. An incredibly knowledgeable and friendly front of house team and the kitchen really dishes out amazing food! The Katchapuri is an absolutely iconic dish. It’s one of our favourite places for a reason ❤️

Really good wine place in Copenhagen. They have big selection of natural wine with affordable price. They seems little busy sometimes but when you ask about wines they will going to explain well.

It’s amazing I really suggest going. I’m not old enough to drink, but I go there with my parents and they say the rain is really good and catch it when the boat is there. It’s a really beautiful site.

The most soulfull and knowledgable wine shop in Copenhagen. They are the guys that supply other wine shops so here you will find a better selection and prices. But its a wholesale business so things are not presented that nicely so you will have to know what you are looking for and trust the staff. Nice setting under the old bridge, you can also get glasses and enjoy your bottle looking over the harbor and this is at wholesale prices!

Lovely wine, the women working there are quite condescending and not that friendly but the other guys are nice. Maybe a bit more serviceminded. I definitely wanted to buy more wine but it was not because of the service.

This beer is highly recommended by a friend, saying like the must-try beer at Copenhagen. Of course turn out it’s good, what more surprise is we order a non alcohol beer which taste and texture exactly like a beer, the packing is cute too. That’s what really impressed me.

I tracked this place down as the original Mikkeller bar so it was special just for that as I enjoy their beer. Very small place just below street level. Hygge for sure. I was alone so bit awkward on my own but all felt comfortable and welcoming. 20 beer options. I tried all three IPAs - nice but not my favourites. But there is something for all tastes

The bar offers a wide variety of beer styles: fruity, sour, bitter, stouts, lagers, wheat beers, red ales, IPAs — you name it. For anyone who used to think beer only meant Carlsberg, this place will open a whole new world. 🍺🌈 The staff at the counter are super professional. It's a tradition for me to come here every time I visit Copenhagen! The beer is absolutely phenomenal! I love trying a few different brews every time I stop by. Highly recommended for craft beer enthusiasts. Mikkeller is a leader in the craft beer world!

After eating at the Indian restaurant at the end of the street, which was great, by the way I was looking for something to drink. Mikkeller was just a short walk away, so I decided to give it a try, even though it was almost closing time. The bartender warmly welcomed us and found us the last available table. The bar is small and cozy, located in a basement lit by candlelight, creating a great atmosphere. They offer a wide selection of beers, and the bartender helped me choose a few to taste. It’s not far from the city center, and I highly recommend visiting. I’m not sure if they take reservations, but it’s probably a good idea to call ahead to make sure they have a spot for you.

This place is cute and cosy but when filled with guests, it was hard to hear each other. The food was good, we started with the oysters which were great. I ordered the chicken with peri-peri sauce for main course but it was not spicy at all. My companions ordered the steak and they said it was tough. Dessert and cheese to complete the meal was also great. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

Charming restaurant in a quieter part of the neighborhood serving bistro like dishes. Had the steak and fries, it was very well prepared and bearnaise sauce was as expected. Nothing spectacular but good basis quality. They also have quality cocktails.

HORRIBLE staff. My friend and I went in last Thursday and asked (calmly and politely) if we could borrow their toilet. Instead of just saying a simple “no” - which would have been understandable - the young man behind the bar glared at us in the most condescending way ever and said “this is not a public restroom”. So rude and unnecessary? Don’t go there unless you’re a masochist who likes being spoken down to by staff.

Esben offered us one of the best customer experiences we’ve ever received in a restaurant. This all started because the restaurant was fully booked and that day was the first time we’ve celebrated my bf’s name day, so a prepared an entire weekend of events. I called the restaurant and couldn’t reach them but after I messaged them, I was called back and we were offered a table. The food and drinks were exquisite and we were extremely happy for the service by all stuff who was very welcoming and kind to us. We’ll definitely return to SALON 39 very soon!! Went for a quick cocktail before dinner. The bar staff João and Cem helped with drink recommendations. The drinks were superb and would recommend anyone looking for a great cocktail and mixology to give this place a try. It was my birthday and they also gave me a complimentary whisky and made it a special experience. The bartenders also made something off menu that was simply delicious. Will be back and will try the food as well next time. Thanks for a great drink and great service. Will be back again.

K-Bar, on Ved Stranden 20, 1061 København, is one of Copenhagen’s longest standing cocktail institutions, with good reason. Founded by Kirsten Holm, it’s often credited with helping elevate the city’s cocktail culture and drink scene. From the moment you step in, K-Bar strikes a tone that feels intimate, stylish, and relaxed. The space is not large, with fewer than ten bar seats, with a small side lounge and soft, low-slung seating. The lighting is dim and cozy, with a monochrome décor that keeps the focus on the drinks and the company rather than flashy surroundings. There’s an air of sophistication without being pretentious in any way. Cocktails are the star here. If you like martinis, you’re in for a treat; K-Bar boasts around 13 variations, including their Monster Martini, which is often recommended.  The menu mixes classics with creative, infused twists and unexpected flavor combinations, attention to fresh, seasonal ingredients.  For those not wanting to stick to the menu, the bartenders (Kirsten) are known to be accommodating and inventive to whatever tastes you may have. The service at K-Bar receives consistently high marks. The bartenders are skilled, friendly, and often happy to chat about a drink you might like or how they put together one you’ve ordered.  It’s a place where you can linger; many people go intending to have one drink and stay for several; as we did. On weekends it can get busy (though it never loses its intimate feel entirely), so if you want more space or quiet, off-peak hours are best. K-Bar is a gem for anyone who appreciates excellent cocktails made with care, and an atmosphere that’s polished yet warming. It’s ideal if you want to slow down, try something special, and enjoy conversation rather than loud crowds. For cocktail lovers, it’s hard to beat in Copenhagen and definitely worth a visit. They do not have a kitchen, but they do have snack available to buy. Definitely recommended!

We were taken here by a regular, who specializes in bar hopping so we were in good hands. The best time to go is on a weekday right after it opens and take a seat in the small room to the side of the bar, where one's voice is not drowned by the music. To be able to carry a conversation without screaming was a welcome change. We felt well taken care of, and spent a whole hour sipping our cocktails and oblivious to the crowds that started to come in midway. We each had 1. So you told me (Calvados, Nixta Corn Liqueur, Jasmine Sparkling tea, etc) 2. Køvenhavner (Lemon Bitters, limoncello, vanilla, etc 3. P.C.Sidecar (That would be a Pear and Cardmon with Cognac, Cointrawy) and that was my favorite. plus a bowl of. truffled popcorn. And more importantly we had a great time. Bars and cocktails are not my thing, but if they were, this would be the place were I would be regular.

If you find yourself in Copenhagen, you should absolutely check out K Cocktail Bar! I strongly recommend The Last Rite of Santa Cruz (off menu), a wonderfully spicy twist on the old fashioned with Mezcal and Chili Infused Agave. Arguably the best drink I’ve ever had! Make sure to ask for Morton and Renate, the best bartenders in Europe! Just an amazing staff and the highest vibes!! A must visit!

I really liked this place. It had a nice laid-back vibe and felt an easy place to be. The beer was excellent, with plenty of choice. After dragging my Mrs around quite a few craft bars, some of which had limited wine options, this place was a welcome change and serves a descent glass of red too!

Visited first time in August 2024. There is a large selection of tap beer of various styles, and there are also some options for cocktails. The interior is spacious and cozy and there are quite a few outdoor tables.

Great atmosphere, great beer. Staff was friendly and knew what they were doing. I like a bartender that knows what they are serving, not all bartenders do. Decor was nice but simple, a bit uninspired. Several places to sit outside and inside. Fast service and clean tables.

Lovely small winebar with a focus on European wines especially Italian. They have an interesting selection of Greek wines and eastern European wines as well. I had a couple of glasses before dinner and you have to reach out sometimes to get service but the people working here are friendly and passionated.

Love this area. Was writing with a glass of wine outside. Natural wine I has was nice but you cannot see the price before you taste them as the price is written on the bottle. Mine was 90krn. Could have been better if they write down the price on the board like ‘Today’s list’.

We stumbled in late after a restaurant visit and were expertly guided to a superb Tokaji wine. Just what we needed.

Copenhagen is full of different restaurants, cafes and bars. The choice is really big. With new friends, it's fun to explore places like this. Apart from that, they have a huge selection of Italian wines that can really make your head buzzing and relieve tension ... I will definitely visit there again sometime.

On my last day in Copenhagen, I decided to visit here partly because I heard so many good things about their coffee, partly also because they carry Juno bakery’s products. As a coffee newbie, their barista (especially the gentleman in the last photo, sorry I did not ask for your name, so I used a photo from another review) were so patient and friendly introducing me the differences between their coffee beans. The first cup of espresso I had was pretty intense, but very smooth with subtle sweetness. I told the gentleman how I felt about this drink, and he kindly asked if I would like to sample the other coffee bean. That totally made my day and I left the store with a smile! Bonus: they use very nice mugs, this store definitely has a better vibe VS the more hyped stores in the city centre.

I wanted to visit this part of the city for breakfast and as I was walking around I saw that this bar was full so decided to stop by and try it. It was a gret idea. Tea was tasty as well as the sweet bun. The bar was so full that I had to sit in tbe restaurant next to it as all tables werw full. I enjoyed my time here and would come back.

Walked in with no expectations. Walked out reminded why I fell in love with coffee in the first place. The double espresso hit like it had something to prove. Tight, clean, no hesitation. Bitter in the best way. Layers of fruit and roast showing up exactly where they should, nothing more, nothing less. The kind of shot you don’t talk over. Double latte followed. Milk steamed just right. No foam art circus. Just structure. Texture. The espresso still held its ground, which says everything. Staff? Dead calm. No fake smiles. No overexplaining. Just people who know what they’re doing and let the coffee speak for itself. I’m a barista. I’ve made thousands of drinks. This was one of the few times I didn’t want to adjust anything. Prolog isn’t trying to impress you. They just do.

Award winning coffee shop. This is not only reason my caretakers come here. We love the chill atmosphere but serious attitude towards coffee. That’s CPH love!

The cafe can probably be added to my top list for the recent years. I ordered ice latte and flat white to go. How to better describe the coffee…well, I would rather suspend my coffeine control for it.

It might be the only coffee in town serving V60. In a very particular place that’ll let you enjoy yourself. It was very sea mless. PS: nice butter there.

Tucked inside the Meatpacking District, Prolog nails the balance between cool and serious. The coffee is outstanding — smooth, complex, and clearly made by people who care. Their croissant is crisp, buttery, and one of the best you’ll find in Copenhagen. The space is small but stylish, buzzing with quiet energy and creative types. Come early, grab a window seat, and enjoy one of the city’s finest coffee experiences without the pretentious vibe.

Good range of beers. Relaxed atmosphere, pleasant staff. Good music playing in the background which didn't drown out the conversation.

One of the best bars in town for craft beer. They usually have 20 different beers on tap and the selection changes frequently so there’s always something new to try. The place has a cool and relaxed vibe to it with vintage furniture and classic rock on the speakers. Also a great place to watch football, they usually show Premier League and Danish league games on the weekend as well as Champions League during the week.

Have been coming here many times for the laid-back atmosphere and the excellent showcasing of Danish micro breweries. Always friendly and knowledgeable staff, and though it can be quite busy, if you visit in the early afternoon it’s normally quiet and relaxing. It’s situated right in between two rather busy craft beer areas so if you are in transit and want to stretch your legs look bo further.

Chill atmosphere, expert and friendly staff, huge selection of beers. 30 on tap. The tap beers can also be canned on demand. This is the oldest craft beer bar in CPH, a peculiar fact nugget. Such a wonderful establishment, loved everything.

When you’re in this part of Copenhagen may I suggest a stop at this place? Sizeable board showcasing primarily Danish craft beer. I guess music selection can vary, but today was a Sabbath day, so no complaints on my account. Outdoor seating is available on a rare hot summer’s day. Huge PLUS for the option to sample the board, 10cl at the time. Overall just a nice place to kick back and enjoy a few cold ones.

This was the best beer bar we found on our trip. The beer selection was very well curated, with a number of surprisingly good renditions of American beer styles. The bartender was very knowledgeable and quite friendly. We had a great time here... so much so I bought a T-shirt.

(Oct 2016) Doesn’t benefit from location ’cool’ and aesthetic smarts like Mikkeller and Fermentor and might suffer a little in comparison. List is very solid and the venue finds plenty of favour with a mixed crowd. If you are ticking venues then yes well worth a look but IMHO there are better picks around town.

A nice place to enjoy some proper beers

Literally full of smoke - it makes your lungs hurt - but a really cool, laid-back pub with interesting people to chat to. And open until 6am. A nice place to go when starting or ending the J-Day madness.

Andy's was once an iconic bar with lots of history and a mixed crowd of rowdy youngsters, artists, politicians, late night sailors and other distinguished guests. Not so much anymore, it has honestly lost a bit of its charm these past few years. Still, it's one of the few bars open until early morning and prices were decent last time I checked. There is a smoking cabin for those of us with that filthy, disgusting habbit.

My favourite bar in town ! It s open until 6am and there is always a good ambiance. The bartenders are super nice and always smiling and happy to talk with us :) The price are super reasonable (not crazy as it could be in other bars) . The San Francisco cocktail is a must try ^^ And for the gamblers you can play with a wheel fortune and see to win a snickers bar or a vodka shot haha

Its a late bar. It sells beer at a good price. The music choice is rock/alternative. The staff are friendly as are the people who are in enjoying a drink. Be warned, smoking is allowed.

Classic smoky Copenhagen bar. Dive bar that is open to the wee hours. Very social and shared tables. Be aware smoking inside happens here.

Cozy little bar. Limited seating. It was super loud and hot inside. Not very smart solution to have seats at the bar with people constantly queuing there for both ordering but also toilet. Drinks were nice, unique concept. Also wide selection of beers. And some wines. I wouldn’t choose this place if I wanted to have a conversation with someone there. Very busy, we were lucky to find seats on Friday evening.

Sometimes everything comes together perfectly like in Paloma Vermuteria e.g. The bartender welcomes you with a smile. The drinks are great and prices reasonable. They have a heated outside area where you can smoke and watch the sunset. The interior is colourful Mediterranean which is natural since the employees are Greek and other nationalities. The area is Nørrebro which is one of The most trendy areas of Copenhagen. Lots of Young people and students hang out here. I highly recommend paloma.

Absolutely amazing place. We had a Vermouth tasting, and the host Adam was very friendly, charismatic and extremely knowledgeable about both the Vermouth we tasted but also the vast and very interesting history. 10/10 would recommend for an afternoon/evening in Copenhagen - both for a longer tasting and for a single drink.

Absolutely in love with this place. The drinks are super good and the olives are a great companion to the house vermouth or a glass of Negroni. Mixed feeling towards the staff though - some of them are super friendly and nice, but one guy in particular appears quite rude and every time becomes a pure vibe killer. But I like this place so much that I kinda ignore that.

Lovely find, one of my favorite places to hang out and sip whatever they offer. I think others will talk about the creativity of their drinks; let me talk to the balance. The drinks make every ingredient stand out; they're noticable and they go together. Fantastic balance, which means you sip and enjoy the taste. You then, when it's done, want the next one that has its own balance and craft. Lovely. We had two people who were non-alcoholic and they downed their drinks, a strong indicator that taste comes first here. I recommend every drink they have to be honest, and I wouldn't actually ask for custom drinks. Creativity is cool, but you should enjoy the craft and time that went into these recipes first. The bar's vibe is very sociable, with tables on one side and standing/high tables on the other side. Both are excellent; if I lived here this'd be a clear second date spot.

Pulp ! What a Cocktail Bar ! I was advised to go to this bar, by a Bartender, I am not disappointed with the trip. It is certainly a recent bar, but of high quality. Jonas the bartender will make you discover superb cocktails. I tested three completely different ones but I loved them all without moderation. The atmosphere of the bar is very good even if as Jonas says there is still work to do. I find already today is perfect as it is. !!! Pulp, Pulp, Pulp, Pulp !!!

This is hands down one of the best bars in Copenhagen, if not all of Europe, Dare I say, then entire world! I almost didn’t want to write this review because I don’t want to draw attention to this gem but I’m done holding onto my precious secret. I think it is one of the most world class one man shows, all done by the owner himself. I highly recommend the Bloody Mary. Coming from America where this drink is a staple, I have never again approached a Bloody Mary as delicious as the owner here makes it. He is always busy and welcomes in thirsty customers. I visited about two years ago and was impressed by how warmly and kindly he welcomed my sister and I for a night out and we still, to this very day, talk about Atze Peng all the time, dreaming of his drinks. I write this as I prepare to visit again this weekend in Copenhagen and I know I will be treated to a wonderful experience once again. Can’t wait! See you soon!

What a hidden gem in Kbh. I had been looking for a place like Atze P for a long time yet without success. What a vibe inside. Excellent music, comfortable and discrete setup and no bullshit service. Ideal for calm conversations due to its elevated acoustic comfort.

This place is my favorite wine bar in Copenhagen. They have all natural wines, and do a really good job of matching wines to your preferences. The staff are nice too :) this place gets.l a little crowded on fridays and Saturdays. If you want to sit inside during the cold season, get there before 21:00. Prices for a glass range from 55-95 and bottles are around 250+ for drink-in. Bottles are cheaper to-go.

Nice to walk through and appreciate the tourists althoguh we went on a stormy day to avoid tourists and make the photos a bit more moody. This place can get very busy, and food/ bars are just there for the tourists who step off the boats .... I suggest venturing down the alleys as there are plenty of hidden gems in this city.

A very pleasant and lively area. A boat tour is recommended. You can see many places in an hour. I think there are two boat tours. One is very cheap. You should ask about the difference and choose accordingly.

Visited Nyhavn over the weekend and absolutely loved it! 🌈 The colorful houses along the canal look stunning, especially on a sunny day ☀️. Tip: for the best photo, click from the opposite side of the canal 📸. Lined with cozy cafes and restaurants, it’s a perfect place to relax, enjoy a meal, and soak in the cheerful Copenhagen vibes 🇩🇰.

It's a must see and very photographic landmark area. There are numerous restaurants and small shops. You catch a canal tour here as well. Don't forget to visit the shop where Hans Christian Anderson once lived.

If you want to see only one place in Copenhagen, it should be definitely Nyhavn. Fabulous and lovely! Full of nice and cozy cafe and restaurant around it.

Nyhavn is an absolute must-see in Copenhagen—a lively, colorful waterfront that perfectly captures the city’s charm. I loved strolling along the canal, lined with vibrant, historic buildings, bustling cafes, and restaurants. It’s a fantastic spot to sit, enjoy a drink, and soak in the scenery.

Visiting a Michelin-starred restaurant comes with certain expectations, particularly regarding service and attention to detail. Unfortunately, this establishment fell short in multiple areas. While the 6 course tasting menu was pleasant but far from exceptional, it failed to stand out compared to other Michelin-starred restaurants I’ve dined at, particularly in London. The execution was solid, but it lacked the ‘wow’ factor that distinguishes truly outstanding fine dining. Service was inconsistent. Simon, our main waiter, was exceptional and truly elevated the experience. However, the rest of the staff felt unenthusiastic, grumpy, and unwelcoming, which significantly impacted the atmosphere. Certain service elements were lacking, such as failing to remove crumbs before serving dessert and *not properly folding the napkin when stepping away from the table, both of which are standard expectations in refined dining. Additionally, the table initially offered was next to the open kitchen, which posed an issue. The ventilation was inadequate, leaving diners at risk of walking out smelling like barbecue… an oversight that could easily be corrected with proper extraction systems. Fortunately, we opted for a window-side table, which provided a much more enjoyable setting and a lovely view over the square. Overall, the experience was average, not memorable and if not for Simon’s outstanding service, it would have been a thorough disappointment. Michelin recognition should come with a standard of excellence not just in food, but in ambiance and service.

We went to celebrate our anniversary in Marchal. Frankly, we were expecting a bit more. Service was excellent and the restaurant is located in a beautiful location, at Kongens Nytorv. The food was beautifully presented in a very precise French style with Danish ingredients, and was very good, but not excellent. However, price was reasonable for a 1-star Michelin restaurant.

We had an amazing anniversary dinner here. My husband had made the reservations several months in advance as we knew we would be in Copenhagen for our anniversary. The restaurant Marchal is located in the historic Hotel D’Angleterre in the city center. The building is gorgeous both inside and out with a fascinating history. The restaurant is quite elegant and people were dressed accordingly. We had a wonderful server who started us with champagne and worked us through the menu with recommendations and answering questions. The restaurant is highly French influenced and the dishes reflected this. Fish, shellfish and caviar figured heavily into our selections, though they are highly known for their duck and other dishes as well. We chose the Danish Turbo fish, that was in season, as our main and it did not disappoint! The fish was mild and perfect and the sauce incredible. Our appetizer choices included salmon cones with caviar and lobster knuckles. For desert, we chose the traditional Crepes Suzette which was prepared table side. It was wonderful with the vanilla ice cream. Our server was wonderful and we enjoyed speaking with her about the food and local ingredients used. She was very warm and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful experience.

Recommendations: -Starters： 🥟Raviole of Langoustine ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fresh ingredients yet too salty. 🦞Blue lobster with marinated tomato ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing taste but the portion of tomato could be bigger. -Main Course： 🐔Poulet Au Vin Jaune ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not creative but still very tasty. 🐟Poached cod ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The garnish and the sauce are just perfect! 🫎Venison Pithivier ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The best of all!! Deluxe version of beef Wellington, a must try. As an art of the table, the dish was partitioned beside the table for the guests. -Dessert 🫐Blueberry and buckwheat ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not too sweet it’s my highest compliment.

You don’t go to Michelin star restaurant for bread - but this brioche was best bread in my life😀 The duck they cook in front of you was exceptional, prepared in front of us and finished with a rich sauce made from the duck’s blood pressed in a traditional way. Staff were nice and attentive. In the end of the night a guestbook was given to us with notes from people who dined here before, it’s an amazing idea as I’m looking forward to come back one day and find message I’ve written 🤭 That was a truly memorable Michelin star experience.

Found our way to the Michelin starred Marchal restaurant. Service was excellent. Food great although smaller portions which is expected of a Michelin restaurant where it’s more about the quality, presentation and taste. Always a pleasure being served correctly and our questions answered

Long story short: this experience fell well short of what one would expect from a Michelin-star restaurant. First misstep: the service lacked coordination. We ordered white wine with the appetizers and red with the mains, yet the red wine was decanted and poured long before the white even arrived. The situation was awkward and easily avoidable. To their credit, the waiter did apologize and made an effort to correct the mistake, but the lapse in communication set the tone for the evening. The foie gras canapé was disappointing - served too cold, with a “crust” that tasted like plain white bread. Rather than enhancing the foie gras, it dulled it. The sourdough bread was serviceable but unremarkable - dense, and lacking the refinement and lightness expected at this level. My blue lobster appetizer was the most concerning. The intestine tract was still intact in the tail - a basic oversight that simply shouldn’t happen in a Michelin-star kitchen. When I mentioned it to the waiter, the kitchen’s response was that there “might be some tender parts” and that they “could not identify what it was.” That explanation felt dismissive and unprofessional. The dish was removed from the bill, but the handling of the issue fell below Michelin standards. To be fair, the lobster itself tasted quite good. Still, these early missteps - especially in service and attention to detail - undermined the experience before the meal had a chance to recover. The rest of the dinner, including the venison main and crêpe Suzette dessert, was well-executed and pleasant, but by then the impression had already been shaped. Overall, the atmosphere didn’t help redeem the evening. The dining room felt sterile - no music, little warmth, and a formality that bordered on uncomfortable. Service, while polite, lacked genuine hospitality; it felt procedural rather than personal. At this level, one expects a sense of ease and flow, but here the mood was cold and stiff, leaving the impression of a place more focused on maintaining appearances than on creating an enjoyable dining experience. I’ve dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants, and while not every meal must be flawless, there’s a certain grace and attentiveness that defines the best of them. Unfortunately, this one missed that mark in both execution and atmosphere.

Proper beer bar, awesome sound system and sound insulation. Expert barman, who knows their craft. Wide selection of local and imported beers, some pretty odd and rare finds here. Very impressive! Cozy, welcoming and delightful. Beers purchased for home consumption come with e neat discount!

The small and cosy craft beer pub. Beer on the tap is rotating. First time I visited it was mostly Danish Micro Breweries but last time there was all around Europe. This place is definitely on my top pubs list in Copenhagen.

I attended a social event for the Copenhagen Craft Beer Club at Tap 21, and had a great experience! They have a good variety of 10 craft beers on draft, but they also have an impressive selection of bottles and cans available. Bo, the owner, is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the beers he serves. This is a great spot to check out, and feels much more cozy with a neighborhood vibe than some other beer bars. I highly recommend it for group social events, or just to stop by and enjoy a beer!

A lovely small bar in the middle of Fredericksburg with a fantastic selection of both cans and draught beer. The owner seemed knowledgeable and service was quick. The prices are very reasonable for Copenhagen and there's plenty of indoor seating.

Edit: very cool, relaxing place, with good music and beer. I'm very close to giving 5 stars, it would be really nice to have some snack "menus" on the tables. It would give a few extra point to the service and it would be great for business I guess, because we would be tempted to get more stuff to munch! ;)

Cozy little craft beer spot, a little isolated from the buzz of the city. Good selection of cans and bottles outside of the taps. Very charming barman (owner?) makes it great. Only minus is almost all tapped beer is rather strong, most 5.5%+

Real nice bar with lots of options on tap. They also sell cans to go. Price is ok, and the beers I tried were really good. Definitely a place I would return.

Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Beer was excellent, including one from a band I love. One member of staff in particular was amazing and very friendly and helped me through a difficult afternoon. I feel terrible I can't remember her name but she was great, thank you!

Cozy bar offering a wide selection of locally sourced brews including sours and IPAs. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly vibe, there's also board games and newspapers. Bartender is super nice and took his time to guide me through the offerings until I found the beer that was right for me. So I made sure to come back and have it again :) Definitely recommended.

They're selling their own organic beers and DIPA I tried here was amazing

Great beer bar with a good range of tap beers and a probably unrivalled range of bottled sour beers. A really stylish exterior is matched by the interior, with beautiful plants and tiles. This is a classic Scandinavian style beer bar. Really glad we went here.

Super amazing and quaint little craft beer place with tasty to go draft beers. Am amazed it took me this long to find it but Im so happy to have found it now! They sell to go beers which is perfect during corona lock down times. Prices are super reasonable (cheaper than most other places which offer to go options - ie: 60 to 75dkk for 1 litre options - see the photos shared for 500ml options as well. Plus no additional charges for pants) You also get to have tasters to choose which beers you would prefer which some bars have stopped during due to corona. Highly recommended! 😍

Craft beer Nirvana right here! Their bottle list has some high profile Cantillon's, check it out. Also always check for tap take overs! Great beer spot in Copenhagen.

The selection has lessened significantly since the last time I was there (several years ago). Still a nice place for a good craft beer.

Great bar with one of the best bottle lists for lambic in Europe, although it's not quite as extensive and rare add it used to be before covid. You can still get seasonal Cantillons, Antidoot, De Cam, Tillquin and more. Draft is 8 taps, mostly IPAs and lagers, some from the states. Cans to go. Delicious pizza from next door.

I wish this my local. One of the best bars that I’ve ever been to. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, boss beers and welcoming locals.

If you're on the hunt for Lambic beers from all over, this is the place to come. They also offer bar snacks and pizzas can be ordered in from a place down the street. The bartenders all spoke great English as well, making it easy for us Canadians to get our sour beer fix!
