The Fallow Deer is a family-owned cafe that prioritizes using seasonal ingredients. Their breakfast menu, available all day, offers a variety of options to cater to different preferences. Notable dishes include the nduja folded eggs and the vegan breakfast featuring sweet potato and black beans. Visitors have praised the delicious food, particularly highlighting the vegan breakfast as a standout dish without any imitation sausages.
Absolutely amazing breakfast, I’d say one of the best I’ve been to. The prices are very reasonable too. The eggs were amazing and so was the sourdough bread. The pancakes were also really good. Would highly recommend.

We came for lunch. The portions were generous and the food was tasty. Our experience was not so great however because the table behind us brought in a huge dog. As the space between our tables was narrow, the dog kept brushing against me. When my food was served, the dog poked his nose in and tried to get a bite, before being forcefully pulled back by his owner. I don't understand why this cafe allows dogs inside, particularly large ones when the tables are so narrowly spaced. It's gross to eat food that a dog has taken a bite of. If the dog had suceeded in eating off my plate, is the cafe going to compensate me a fresh plate? Is it too much to expect to eat my lunch in peace instead of having to fight off a dog my size?

Stopped at Teddington on the way down the Thames and was lucky enough to find Fallow Deer. I had a great full English breakfast and a well made coffee. The Waitress is even cuter than the Barista 😊
Simon B — Google review
I hosted a private dinner party here recently and the staff, food and service were all absolutely brilliant. They were also kind enough to let us personalise the event by bringing in our own decor, flowers and a musician, and letting us customise our menu to suit our preferences. They were communicative and helpful in the lead up to the event too, and accommodated all our dietary requirements with ease. Thank you so much to Thomas and the team for making our event everything we were hoping it would be!

Recommended by my daughter today who lives in Teddington - whereas I do not - and they did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked, quality produce that resulted in a delicious full breakfast. Price very good. Green smoothie also delicious and a carafe of tap water with ice and lemon means I am still in here and will be back!
Susan L — Google review
Ever since me and my partner discovered this cafe we have been going back so many times I’ve lost count. Their full breakfast is one of the best, the scrambled eggs are just so creamy and I love their chorizo. Other dishes like eggs Benedict are also super delicious too. However If there’s anything that can be changed or improved is their menu size, i get that when you have a smaller menu you can focus on doing each to the best but it’s so limited that’s I have almost tried everything and I want to go back and try something different. Also the tables can be cleaned a bit better between each service.
Yanners — Google review
Came here for my dads birthday meal today! And The staff welcomed us in immediately and asked if we needed anything whilst we waited. And after a 10-15 minute wait, We got served quickly and the staff were kind, friendly and helpful. The food was well worth the wait. I had the Eggs Fallow and if have it all over again. And cannot wait to go back!

The Press Room is a charming café situated in a prime location in Twickenham, near the train station. It serves as an ideal destination for refreshing beverages and light snacks before attending rugby matches at Twickenham Stadium. The milkshake offered here is exceptionally delightful, and the service provided by the amiable staff is commendable, with quick and efficient drink delivery.
I visited The Press Room Coffee today and was truly impressed — it’s easily one of the best coffee spots in Twickenham! I was invited by a good friend of mine from My Legal Solicitor for a meeting about an IT project, and we decided to catch up over coffee here. The coffee was absolutely amazing — rich, strong, and full of flavor. The staff were also very warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended if you’re in the area — a real local gem!
Shahzad C — Google review
I've walked past The Press Room several times until one day when I was in a rush to get the train I stopped and bought a coffee. Can't comment on the food they serve, however that salted caramel brownie has my name on it and I'll be back for it. Great to see a independent coffe shop that not only serve good coffe but also support the local community.

Nothing to rave about but it is better than most if the places in the area. I had an absolutely delicious V60 and enjoyed it so much I purchased a bag if whole bean coffee. The bakery selection was really nice and the staff was friendly. I Rated The Press Room higher than other coffee houses in the area that I went.
John W — Google review
Best flat white in Twickenham, no question. The coffee shop is bright and airy, with great window seats. Loved the V60 too. Only tiny gripe – very long fake nails don’t feel right in food service. Otherwise, everything’s spot on. The flapjack is a must-try!

I hate leaving reviews that are negative but this is for the owner because he has a built a good business, I will be positive and say I have become a regular of this place because the coffee is good but now I go to esquire coffee down the road and reason is twice I have walked in at 4:40pm and been rejected by the lady with tattoos and tall black guy , sorry dont know their names and when I ask, why , we are closing early but the place closes 5pm so this is not good for the business or the owner which im sure he is not aware of this because then the third time I went 4:55pm and it was a short white lady very lovely and served me at that time.. so I did get put off by those two customer service , it was terrible and now unfortunately I have stopped going because of this, thank you

Great little cafe just down the road from Twickenham station. Tables too if you need to park up for work. Cakes, pastries too. Doing a brunch menu too now, sausage roll is amazing… need to try the Breakfast Bap next 🤤
Ajay P — Google review
I have visited the coffee shop multiple times but yesterday I had a pricey flat white as I saw all the prices (coffees at least)they gone up but also the expectations from the customers as well. So if you charge for an oat flat white 4.30 at that point I’m expecting a good quality coffee and a good service as well more polite and kind .

Not outdone by the historic Teddington suspension bridge find an equally noteworthy “Airstream” kiosk shimmering in close proximity. A range of home backed pastry/cakes and coffee beyond reproach. Efficient service and a pleasant deck/seating arrangement on the embankment. Doesn’t sound like much but expectations likely to be surpassed here by the standard on offer.
Jeff B — Google review
The cakes are homemade and amazing and with an amazing view of the riverside and Teddington bridge it's the perfect place to grab a coffee. I really recommend the lemon polenta cake.

What a great stop on my cycle route.Delicious carrot cake and even better coffee, and all with a pretty view. Had one of the best double macchiatos I can recall in quite a while. Will definitely be back soon! Thanks

As we paddle up the Thames River, we hoped to find somewhere to have a cup of coffee and something to eat. We got all way to Teddington lock and could see the sail which resembles the flying Cloud. We enjoyed a lovely coffee and toast with peanut butter. Very friendly staff and 10/10 customer service. Will definitely be back for a slice of one of the many cakes to choose from. Thank you

Brunch and Brew is a delightful gem nestled in Richmond, perfect for those who love to indulge in brunch while enjoying the company of their furry friends. This spacious café boasts both indoor and outdoor seating, making it an ideal spot after a refreshing stroll through Richmond Park. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who go the extra mile—like treating your dog to a tasty snack!
Absolutely loved my experience here! The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor (the avocado toast was a standout! so pretty and delicious). The service was fantastic , and the whole atmosphere felt lovely and chilled – the perfect spot to enjoy brunch . I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends!
Daniella B — Google review
What a perfectly lovely coffee shop this is. My friend and I popped in for lunch and you will see from the photo of the chicken and bacon salad how well presented it was, even had a couple of flowers. The salad was extremely tasty as well as being beautifully presented. The truffle Parmesan chips were also delicious. What we also liked was that they don’t permit laptops and tablets which is actually quite nice. Although it’s very handy at times to be able to sit in a coffee shop with a laptop, it does mean that there aren’t so many tables free and people can end up speaking very loudly on work calls. Thoroughly recommend!
H C — Google review
What a great experience it was. Fantastic service - especially the lady who is also a teacher - friendly staff. We had the poached eggs with a good portion of crab meat on sourdough with hollandaise. It was excellent, with also interesting dishes on the menu, well presented, competitive prices for Richmond. Smoothies and coffee - from Curious Roo roasters - were great. Highly recommended, easy access just across the street from the station.
Chris T — Google review
My partner and I went out for breakfast this morning, and on the way, I spotted this charming café and thought — why not try something new? It turned out to be an amazing choice! The moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the sweetest waitresses. Their friendly smiles and welcoming attitude made us feel instantly comfortable. The atmosphere was cozy, relaxed, and full of character. We had a latte, smashed avocado on sourdough, and sweetcorn fritters — and everything was absolutely delicious. You could really taste the freshness and care in every bite. One thing that really stood out to me was a sign asking customers not to use laptops. I had never seen that before in a café — and I actually loved it. It created a peaceful, unplugged vibe that let us fully enjoy our breakfast and time together. We’re really glad we came — and we’ll definitely be back!
Kim Y — Google review
We finished on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm in July. We had no problem getting a table. The service was really quick, and the staff were friendly. The food we ordered was amazing, and far exceeded our expectation. The price was pretty good as well compared to other brunch places in town. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the matcha
Lisa S — Google review
The brunch here is absolutely amazing, such a gem. We came all the way from West Hampstead just to have brunch. It’s no reservations so walk ins only but we came at 10am on Sunday and it was okay. You pay at the till when you order so it’s super convenient. Both the eggs and pancakes were perfectly cooked delicious and the coffee was good. Friendly service ☺️🙏🏻

Lovely dog friendly brunch spot in Richmond. The food was delicious, good portions and well priced, we ordered the crab & avo on toast and chicken and chorizo wrap, along with a smoothie with broccoli, kale, avocado, coconut and ginger. Would highly recommend and hope to be back in the future.

I needed to get a quick coffee fix before the day ahead so I popped in here to avoid the big chains. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile. They genuinely seemed disappointed they couldn’t offer me any GF cake wise but said they’ll look into it off the future. Coffee was very good. I asked if it would ok to charge my laptop and they were extremely accommodating. I would certainly recommend this place if you want a coffee shop with a nice ambiance and not too overcrowded.

The Chief Coffee is a well-designed and impressively spacious coffee shop located in a quiet mews off Turnham Green Terrace. It serves the finest coffee from La Marzocco, Isokon Plus and Workshop Coffee, as well as 10 classic pinball machines. It's an ideal place to relax with a good cup of joe and some stimulating conversation.
Not sure where to start! Chief coffee is an amazing place to hangout with friends, my friend and I went for the first time today to try out the arcade upstairs. The different types of Japanese arcade games were amazing and machines were clean! We went specifically for the Initial D racing machines. At the start the machines for the Initial D screen went off mid race, but one of the lovely staff there offered us a credit back for the issue, we appreciated the kind gesture but politely declined as we already played about 3/4 worth of out credit we put in! ( Wasn’t sure on the persons name but she said she was fairly new! ) thanks for making my friend and I’s experience so great with the kind gesture! Will be returning soon and will give the coffee a try too! All the best. 😄 ( Attended 9th Jan 2025! )

Tucked in an alleyway where one wouldn’t know unless you smell the coffee and pinball machines is this small and unique coffee shop. Good coffee at reasonable price, plenty of space to sit (indoor and outdoor) and there is also a pinball machine downstairs! Amazing.
J T — Google review
Such a great place! Great coffee, great staff - really passionate about what they’re doing, professional, nice and genuine! Most important of all is that they have such a cool gaming machine! Upstairs they’ve got Japanese gaming machine and downstairs you’ve got pinball machines! Honestly the best spot in London!
Emma L — Google review
Fabulous place, run by lovely people. I go most weekends, and have met some wonderful people with a similar love of pinball. In addition, the arcade upstairs attracts a mixture of families and young people, and everyone seems delighted to be there. The coffee is excellent. I would also recommend the cinnamon rolls with cream cheese, but I worry that there wouldn't be any left for me!

The best coffee and matcha in Chiswick 🤍 So pleasant and friendly atmosphere and vibe! I discovered a cool spot with pinball machines downstairs (quite spot for reading before starting games) and Japanese arcades upstairs 🤩 today were amazing baristas Vanessa and Amber 🤍

This is a really unique place. I don’t come here for the coffee most times but for the pinball machine and the Japanese arcade on the top floor. Yes! They have amazing Japanese games to play with and they are super cool! You can exchange your pound notes for yen on the top floor. The pinball room is in the basement level and my favorite one is ghost busters. Some games it is 2 pounds for 3 plays.
Laszlo T — Google review
Hidden Gem. Lovely coffee. Friendly staff and freshly cooked cookies that were so scrummy.
Fiona S — Google review
Note that this review isn't of the café part of Chief Coffee - although I know from the past that it's pretty decent. My reason for visiting was to play the pinball machines, which, first thing on a Thursday, weren't turned on. They were happy to switch them on for me and as with the past few times, they were flawless - a good mix of classic machines and modern ones, all for a pound a go, or three credits for two pounds. It's one of the best places in London for pinball and is clearly well looked-after. Upstairs is something else that's unique in London, an arcade filled with Japanese arcade machines. To add to the feel, they take 100 yen coins (which are sold in a "change" machine), and the cabinets and games are in Japanese. You don't need to speak the language though to have a good time, be it on Mario Kart, a machine which involved bouncing ping-pong balls, or the other games up there. Having been to Tokyo before, it's spot on - and well worth a visit. It's clear the owners have a real passion for these arcade and pinball machines, and it's refreshing to see how well looked-after they are.

Walked in and was greeted with a smile, My order was taken accurately and prepared beautifully, I ordered a white mocha with oat , single decaf and extra white mocha. It tasted amazing and normally I never experienced good milk texture at other places, but to my surprise the milk texture was really smooth , really enjoyed my drink and every sip was worth it. My go to place for Starbucks

Had strawberry acai and Caramel Frappe from Starbucks at Hounslow High Street. Poor service, there were 4 staff, but slow in taking orders. Both the items were bitter and a waste of money.

Good options to eat as well along with regular offerings. Nice setup and ample space to sit and relax. Service was slow on Sunday though.

Personally I’m not a great fan of Starbucks! I don’t usually go to Starbucks it’s only when Costa’s or Caffè Nero is not open that’s the time I enter Starbucks and that’s only during odd hours. I always get the same drink nd that’s Americano. Now here is the thing when you go to certain Starbucks locations their staff is really rude and filled with too much attitude that the reason now I just go to this and if I am not in this area It seems as though Starbucks are forgetting that customer service and respect is the basis of any business. The locations are now making bad cups of coffee, being disrespectful to customers, and if you complain they have a nerve to want to argue with you. The managers are just as unprofessional as the baristas so if I need coffee then I would rather have some cold water cause some of their staff really makes me upset. I can understand where they are coming from. But overall At this particular store the customer service is also great. Will make the coffee as you wish. Even willing to help you decide what you want or try come close. The baristas are nice. The place is clean. The food is okay. Pastries are Great. So I think that if you have not gone to Starbucks before you should definitely try!!!!!!

Messy, Unorganized and endlessness is just not good enough. Staff are okay, Not very welcoming. Some even make you feel like they are doing you a massive favor for making a coffee. Doesn't even feel like Starbucks!!!

Dharma Coffee Richmond is a modern and stylish coffee shop with limited seating, making it perfect for grabbing a quick drink on the go or taking a break while working remotely. Originating from Brighton, this coffee spot has made its mark in Richmond with its well-thought-out interior design and friendly staff. The carefully crafted coffee and delicious food options like Acuka and Pink Lady have won over many customers.
I visited on a busy Saturday lunchtime but managed to grab a table by the window, which was perfect for people watching. There was a bit of a queue to order, but expected on a Saturday. The coffee was great, I also had the Basque cheesecake which was delicious, a bit on the pricy side. Would definitely come back!
Aleksandra I — Google review
I recently visited Dharma Coffee and was pleasantly surprised by their espresso tonic—refreshing and well-balanced, perfect for a warm and sunny day. I also appreciated the quick service, as I didn’t have to wait long for my drink. That said, I was a bit disappointed to find out they had stopped serving V60s for the day, even though there were still 30 minutes until closing. While I understand the staff likely didn’t want to extend their shift—especially after what was probably a long and busy day given the café’s popular location and the great weather—a single-cup pour-over doesn’t take much longer than an espresso-based drink. It was a shame, particularly since at £4.60, their V60 is one of the most reasonably priced in London—something I was genuinely looking forward to trying. The staff weren’t particularly warm or welcoming, but certainly not rude—just neutral, which can’t really be held against them, especially at the end of a demanding shift. The atmosphere inside is relaxed, with a good variety of seating options to suit different preferences. One of Dharma’s best features is its extended hours—open until 6pm, which is rare for London’s specialty coffee spots. It’s especially appreciated in summer when you can enjoy a proper coffee after a sunny day in Richmond Park. All in all, Dharma has a lot going for it. I wish they could keep making V60s until closure but other than that I definitely recommend them if you want a nice cup of coffee in Richmond.

A nice coffee shop. I ordered a cup of Matcha Latte, and one croissant. The Matcha Latte was good, but the croissant was not fresh. The staffs were friendly, and helpful. 5 stars for them. Sockets for charging are available. Toilets for customers are available.

My friend and I were visiting Richmond and we happened to have to attend online meeting for work urgently in the afternoon. We came in to Rin Matcha Bar for a work space but they didn’t have a wifi, so they advised us to go to Dharma Coffee which is their sister company around the corner. We were welcomed, friendly staff, great coffee and Matcha! The space for laptop is excellent! They provided socket for charging and excellent wifi connection. We were also lucky to be offered free trial for their Vegan Chocolate cookies, tasty and fudgy, very good. Thank you again for your hospitality! Life saving work space!

Exceptional espresso, very competent and exceedingly nice staff. Ceramic mugs are a welcome extra touch. I don't write that many reviews but among the coffee shops in Richmond, this place is my favorite, next to the excellent matcha bar.

Great service. Dog friendly. (A jar of dog treats would be a nice addition.) Well maintained and clean. Not cheap, however given it's located on the high street in Richmond, it's understandable. Latte was ok. Not the best I've had but it's definitely not the worst. Decent range of pastries.

Nestled in the vibrant area of Ealing, Artisan Coffee School is a delightful haven for coffee enthusiasts and aspiring baristas alike. Founded by Edwin and Magda in 2011 after their inspiring journey in Uganda, this charming spot offers more than just exceptional brews; it’s a creative space that embraces innovative design. Each morning, visitors can indulge in freshly made granolas, pastries, porridge, and even smoked salmon on focaccia.
Brilliant teacher who ran our training course. He was super engaging, knowledgeable and friendly and created a relaxed atmosphere in the class. Managed to explain the topics and information in a way that was so informative but not overwhelming. We learned so much more than we expected to and really enjoyed the experience. Coffee shop upstairs was also really nice and a lovely bonus to have a free coffee before the class and 20% off the beans! Overall would highly recommend:)

Loved everything about this course. Was really interesting to attend this course and was lucky to get a very nice group to be with. Interactive and practical side to the course was fun. Definitely ot my last course there. Thanks to Peter who was our host there. Lovely environment and a lovely place to have a cup of coffee and enjoy it with a friend or while reading a book.

Having attended 3 coffee courses with Artisan Coffee School, I cannot recommend Peter and the Team enough. From Booking to attendance, the whole process has been seamless and professional. Peter's knowledge, skills and teaching methods are, inspirational, thorough and relevant. He always catered to each students personal development, specific knowledge and interests. The school is spacious, highly equipped and independently located from the Cafe. I look forward to attended further course on my coffee journey. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ☕️❤️

We did the Sensory Masterclass on Sunday and it was phenomenal. Exactly the right level of detail; we learnt a huge amount about the coffee we are buying so we can know the product and our tastes much better. Thoroughly recommend for everyone at the start of your coffee journey.

Just completed my latte art course. It was fantastic, our instructor was so good, he was patient, interesting & very knowledgeable. Must have practiced making 100 coffees in 3.5 hours! Although I did the course for fun & didn’t realise how much there was to making ‘latte art’. I definitely recommend it!!

I attended a Barista Masterclass on Sunday and I can't praise it enough! The training was very informative and there were a lot of demonstrations, so we could learn from seeing something being done and then doing it ourselves, one being dialing the coffee grinder correctly. I've learnt about various types of coffees and where they come from, which has made me want to try new flavours out. Thank you to Peter and the team for making this an amazing experience!

I completed the Barista Skills Foundation with Peter. Really enjoyed the day and was very comprehensive for what I needed and wanted to get out of it. They have just moved to a new premisies which probably needs another few months until complete (and all the noise has stopped) but would highly recommend the course, company and Peter as a teacher, he's a super knowledgeable guy.

Whether you're commuting or simply looking for a break from city life, this laptop-friendly haven offers bold flavors and Instagram-worthy aesthetics. i get the same thing at every black sheep cafe that i go to but this was my first time at the Richmond one, and the first time i didn’t have to ask for anything, everything was done perfectly. i asked for less ice and that was done for me, and they even added whipped cream and pistachio sauce on top which everywhere else fails to do for some reason. staff were also lovely. loved it!

I came here for the first time on a recommendation. From the start, I had some issues with my order. I ordered a waffle with Nutella and strawberries, along with an extra banana and whipped cream. Then I received my order, which included only the waffle with banana and whipped cream, without the strawberries or Nutella. The matcha was good.

I love trying out new cafes, but Black Sheep in Richmond was a real letdown. The coffee was honestly terrible..bitter, watery and just not enjoyable. I had high hopes, but I won’t be coming back. Plenty of better options nearby.

Black Sheep Coffee in Richmond is a convenient stop located right on the main road, directly across from the subway station — ideal for commuters and anyone on the go. Known for its bold coffee and edgy vibe, this branch keeps up with the brand’s signature urban feel. I popped in for a flat white takeaway — it was well made, smooth, and satisfying. The space inside is also a good spot to work, with power sockets available and a relaxed, unfussy atmosphere. I’d rate it a 4 out of 5 — solid coffee, prime location, and a practical setup for getting things done.

me (Sigmund) and my friend Cinderella went here to get our daily dosage of caffeine. I got a lavander matcha and Cinderella got a xl iced americano w 3 shots of vanilla. My lavander matcha tastes like Asda’s apple juice three days past its expiration date, the Americano was mid but nothing compares to fresh starbies at 7am in the morning. The best part of the drinks were the ice cubes. The atmosphere was quite calm. Next time I go there I’ll try the coffee or the açai bowl which both looked quite good #starbies4eva #asdaapplejuice

Great little independent coffee shop near St Margarets station (opposite St Margarets Tavern). Friendly staff who make awesome coffee. Water Lane Coffee, located on a serene street leading to the Thames, is the brainchild of Jerome Dwyer, known for his successful venture Antipode. This west London coffee spot thrives on its focus on European roasters such as Nomad from Barcelona and Coffee Collective from Copenhagen. The cozy interior and friendly staff add to the appeal, although space can be a bit cramped. The coffee selection includes Japanese pour-over devices and features options like single origin Rwandan beans and a delightful blend.
The coffee and the texture of the oat milk in my flat white was flawless. I love the interior design and the beautiful cups, plus the staff are friendly and served the coffee with a smile! The location is ideal next to the river, and my dog was welcome too. The only downside is that the tables/ space are quite cramped. I wouldn't recommend sitting in - after all, less than 100m down the road are benches by the river.

Was recommended this independent coffee shop in the Twickenham area by a client. Was greeted by very affable chap whom made really nice lattes for us. Whole milk was available which is usually frowned upon in some places. I will definitely revisit for the lattes Only constructive feedback for the owner would be to cover the cakes/cookies section like most places, as we were reluctant to get croissants after seeing a customer in front of us literally put his face over them before choosing as they area too close to the counter.
Kyrig90 G — Google review
Nice coffee shop in Twickenham - it's the only place I've been that offered me a larger size of a flat white! The coffee was good, but not the best I've had. The pastries/cakes look amazing, but are completely uncovered, which seems potentially unhygienic. The staff were friendly and invited us to sit while we waited for our coffee. It's very small, there are a few seats but it's probably a better place for a coffee to go.
Rhiannon — Google review
Great new coffee shop just recently opened in Twickenham. Serving the highly rated Brick Lane coffee and a selection of pastries. The owner is welcoming and engaging and the space is nicely designed with well thought out touches like the terrazzo marble counter. Excellent new addition to the local community. Highly recommended.

Came in for a flat white and was served by Zac , super friendly service and best coffee in Twickenham !
Elaini L — Google review
Really good coffee. And they do the Japanese pour-over devices here, too. When I came in they had a single origin from Rwanda as well as a blend, and both are delicious. The Rwandan seemed quite a light roast. For a cappuccino the milk was prepared more like a latte, but delicious. It's at the top end in terms of prices. The interior is quite scruffy and looks cramped and unfinished. This is a pop up shop which hasn't been here long, but it didn't look very comfortable so I took it out and sat by the river. They do have food options but, as the owner said, they don't sell much food. Also, bagged coffee is available and can be ground on request. Recently they seem to open when they feel like it, rather than conforming to a timetable like normal retail businesses.
Liam H — Google review
Best tasting coffee in Twickenham! I do coffee crawls throughout the Borough of Richmond, and I rank this as no. 1. You can see the coffee being prepared and smell its aroma upon entering the store. The barista is an expert at coffee making, always remembers my order and gives me a wave on my way back from yoga. The aura of the place has a pleasant and soothing casual feel about it. Make it a destination!

Solid hipster cafe that was very welcome to an Australian in need of acceptable coffee in Twickenham. Had a well-above average oat flat white made by a young hipster barista. Felt like home. Slight edit - 2 out of 3 times I came this place wasn’t open when it was supposed to be.

I absolutely loved the coffee and pastries here. My boyfriend and I just moved to the area and we were walking around looking for a place for coffee. Today I had a wonderful experience at Urban Baristas. I ordered two drinks — a hot chocolate and a velvet latte — both were absolutely delicious. As the shop was closing soon, I was kindly offered free pastries so they wouldn’t go to waste. I enjoyed a lovely croissant while sitting in the cosy coffee shop. On my way out, one of the staff members, a very tall, kind and accommodating gentleman, offered me even more pastries. His friendliness and the relaxed, welcoming vibe of the whole place really stood out. Such a generous and thoughtful gesture — I’ll definitely be coming back again. Thank you, Urban Baristas!

Anyways all was great!

Almost totally occupied by people on laptops. One at least on a conference call. Felt like an open plan office so somewhat lacking in atmosphere. Chairs probably deliberately not too comfortable and they have a time limit on how long you can stay. On the plus side the coffee and pastry were excellent and the chef /barista very friendly.

One of the best options in Richmond for coffee. The staff of the store, polite, will serve you with a smile. The sitting area is decorated with excellent paintings, which change from time to time and are also available for sale. The Scandinavian-style coffee tables give a beautiful result. The coffee is delicious, and the cups in which it is served are of high quality and aesthetics. Try cordato or flat white with oat milk. Pet/laptop/baby friendly.

Grounded London is an easygoing coffee house located near Aldgate East Station, offering a rustic New York-style brunch experience. It's known for its eclectic international menu and great coffee. The restaurant operates on a counter service basis, making it perfect for those seeking a hearty meal without the need to dress up. The breakfast spot is popular for its fresh and organic food, as well as its delicious coffee blends.
The food here was excellent – very filling and full of flavor! Great value for money as the portions are generous for the price. The atmosphere is also really nice and makes it a great place to enjoy a meal. The only thing I’d suggest improving is the size of the restaurant, as it feels a bit small and can get crowded during busy times. Other than that, everything was great! Definitely recommend.

Grounded Whitechapel offers a good coffee experience with generally satisfactory service. During my weekday visit, the cafe was busy but there were seats available. The atmosphere, however, was rather noisy. The homemade buttermilk pancakes were nice — fluffy, soft, and served warm. The coffee was decent. That said, the seating arrangement felt somewhat cramped, with tables placed close together, making the space feel congested; you’re seated very close to other diners. There was a noticeable sense of urgency to eat quickly, as the staff seemed eager to clear tables promptly to accommodate the steady flow of customers. In fact, the waitress was taking my coffee away before I had finished it. I paid £17.95 for my pancakes and coffee, and the service should be a lot better. Instead, I felt somewhat pressured to leave to free up space for others. Overall, it was a satisfactory visit with good food.
R ( — Google review
Can't really say anything very amazing or very negative about Grounded in Whitechapel. When we arrived it was very busy and were lucky to get a table as there was only 2 of us. The seating layout is quite tight as the location itself is not overly big, we sat at a long table shared with 3 other pairs which was fine. Due to how busy it was the overall atmosphere was just come in, eat, and leave ASAP as the tables were being flipped constantly, and you could see the staff were just trying to manage the level of busy, with that fair play to them but because of this you didn't get that feeling that you could just sit and spend some time at the cafe. In relation to food, the food was good, but nothing exceptional, the pancakes were okay, if anything the eggs benedict was better.
Polina P — Google review
Was here for lunch on a weekday. Quite cozy and staff were friendly and helpful. Ordered smoked salmon with poached eggs and a side order of sweet potato fries which were great. The area is quite busy.

The French toast looked go so went to try it - but it wasn’t good. Barely even French toast 🫠 This store uses brioche bread for their French toast. It comes with some berry jam on top, cream and fruit on the side. Syrup also The issue is the actual bread never gets the French toast filling. It’s mostly like bread that’s been toasted. This is NOT French toast. Or a poor execution 🤔 Almost wanted to throw it away but it was like 15 pounds Shame cuz this has all the elements to make great French toast but falls short. Maybe I got a bad rushed batch?
James F — Google review
We had nice experience at Grounded London. The service was good and the food was great, especially the porridge! We luckily didn’t have to wait for a table as we came in at the perfect time but know it’s quite a busy place and a bit noisy as well. My recommendation would be to change the cutlery as it was difficult to cut the sourdough bread with the knife given.

Delicious halal breakfast! I ordered the egg & turkey bacon breakfast, and my wife ordered the full English. Loved the fresh Acai smoothie and delicious cappucino. £45 for two is well worth it! Take note, no reservations here so if you're coming with a party of more than 2, you'll be waiting a while.

I don’t know how to start, but the classic beef English breakfast really needs improvement. The beef sausage was flavourless, felt like something from Tesco just cooked and served. The only things I liked were the scrambled eggs, sourdough, and tomato. Honestly, it was just alright, and I don’t get why it’s so popular. I’d recommend picking something else other than the classic beef English breakfast.

Wags N Tales is a trendy bar that welcomes dogs and offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes, including homemade desserts. They also have outdoor seating available. The entire team was highly impressed when they visited for a quick meal, as they were able to order, eat, and leave within the 30-minute free parking time limit. The chili dog was particularly flavorful with its Tex-Mex-inspired taste and spice. The service provided by the friendly staff members maintained the establishment's excellent reputation.
Really nice place. We had breakfast there. Ordered a few dishes to try and they were all delicious. Nice shakshuka and veggie breakfast was great 😊 homemade beans and a yummy veggie sausage. I tried their apple cinnamon crumble muffin and that was nice too. They have a few benches outside which was great for summer. Definitely go back again. (Breakfast dishes are between £7-£12 which is good. )

My new favourite place for breakfast and brunch. The best waffle in Greater London, it's best to go all in and order waffle with some of everything (like I do). The breakfast options are awesome including vegan plate. The coffee is amazing too. The staff are really friendly and polite. Highly recommend it, there is enough parking around if you are driving.

Really enjoyed coming here, we came for breakfast and one of us had the Wags special and the other the Tamale special. Both were full of flavour and the spices worked well. The only reason I gave it a 4* is because the coffee wasn’t the best, this could be personal preference though and didn’t take away from the experience

Pet friendly cozy atmosphere. Great food and drinks. A wide range of vegan, food allergy and intolerance pastries and cakes. Comes alive late at night with excellent bar service and top notch cocktails.

Lovely atmosphere and great food at this family (and dog) friendly spot! Really spacious and airy with plenty of room for pushchairs. Food is all vegetarian plus they do baked goods especially for dogs!

Lovely family-run cafe/bar that is dog friendly, and has loads of delicious veggie and vegan dishes! I sat down to watch the World Cup with a coffee and cake instead of a beer- and it was really cozy and friendly atmosphere. The food is home- cooked and delicious! Coffee is great and they have loads of veggie milk options including bonsoy.

It’s always such a treat to go to Wags N Tales. The staff is lovely and the teas, coffees and cakes are so tasty! We all had a slice of carrot cake , which was finger licking good, a massala chai latte, a machiatto and a mocha. It’s a dog friendly café, as the name suggests, so you may be able to pat a friendly dog in the process.

I have been here once or twice for drinks which has been very nice but went for the first time for a meal today. I had the Tamale and it was out of this world, so tasty. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is good too. I love the fact that it is the sort of place you can go with a friend and you can order a pint of beer and a coffee and it doesn't feel out of place!

Squire's Garden Centre is a fantastic place with a wide range of plants and related gardening supplies as well as a large section dedicated to household items. The staff are very knowledgeable and willing to assist. The cafe is of good quality, and there is ample parking available.
Love this place and even enjoy popping in just to browse and make my next shopping list. I've many beautiful flowering plants which have flourished. Can't wait for my Tulips to blossom next April. Really delicious cakes too!

Whilst the food was good, the service was not so. Had to wait some time for our food and bill. The lady serving us seemed more bothered about talking to patrons at another table, despite us waiting for some time. She then went on her break and we had to wait for someone else in order to pay. The garden centre shop is well stocked, but it is one of the most expensive garden centres in the area.
Metal M — Google review
Lovely garden centre with a pet supply shop with pets and fish. All really well looked after. Plants are healthy etc. The lunch we had in the cafe was delicious but quite pricey. Staff very helpful and friendly. Took my elderly mum and she loved it. Things are fairly expensive there but different to what you can find on the high street.

This is not the cheapest place for your plants or gardening equipment, however what you get is top quality plants with a 3 year guarantee on perennials. Gardening equipment is also of excellent quality. The planting staff, both inside & out, really know their stuff and if they don't know they will go and find out. They're is also a pretty good cafe serving everything from breakfast, to lunch to cream teas. Would highly recommend this garden centre.

I visit squires nearly every time I'm in the area. Normally this is to have a coffee in their cafe and a nose around the shop but occasionally will have a lunch there. I have not had any food I haven't enjoyed. The pasty was very tasty and filling! The staff are always so friendly and helpful. The shop has a huge variety of things, obviously, being a garden centre, it's focus is on both indoor and outdoor plants and seeds but they also have books, clothes, kids toys, stationary etc as well as a well stocked seasonal display. I am loving looking at their autumn selection at the moment. Looking forward to being back for my coffee and the friendly smiles

Nestled in a charming corner, Your Bakery is the perfect spot for those leisurely breakfast moments. With its inviting ambiance, it offers an array of delightful options to kickstart your day. The cappuccino here is exceptional, especially when paired with their buttery almond croissant that boasts a rich flavor profile. For those looking for something sweet, the moist carrot cake and freshly made baklava are must-tries that will leave you craving more.
Lovely and cozy cafe ideal for a slow breakfast. Great cappuccino with a variety of diary milk alternatives pairs perfectly with an almond croissant for a great start to the day. They also have other varieties of pastries and a breakfast / lunch menu. Great service and a cozy atmosphere. PS. Highly recommend to try the baklava. It’s one of the best I have ever had and it’s freshly made.

A small bakery on whitton high street. My partner and I decided to visit it past weekend as its outdoor sitting area is always buzzing with life. It left us with a positive possibility of grabbing a light snack and a drink before continuing on our merry shopping way. Barely any pastries were left (Sunday afternoon so completely understandable) so we opted out for just two coffees. The quality of the drinks was average but the girls at the till were lovely and served in a quick and polite manner. Unfortunately the glaring issue was the property manager who sat sulking at one of the main indoor seats on his laptop. His attitude could be felt even while sitting away and observing his interactions with the girls. His eyes scanning for any mistake inside the bar area as he continued to do jack all himself, not caring about helping, cleaning or possibly just getting to chat with the locals. Needless to say we won't be visiting again. A passionless leader leads to dull half done projects as is apparent by the cafes interior.
Daida — Google review
The coffee wasn’t good, didn’t end up drinking it. Unfortunately the almond croissants weren’t good either, lacking in flavour and wouldn’t call them croissants. The texture was more like squashed cake, and one of them had a random raisin baked into it. Such a shame as service was friendly!

The almond croissant was buttery, crisp, and full of rich almond flavor — absolutely perfect! And the carrot cake? So moist and perfectly spiced. Sweetness done right! #bakerylove #almondcroissant #carrotcakeheaven #freshanddelicious

Poor options for vegetarians or vegans! Shame as it’s a nice cafe but the menu is not great unless you eat meat, crazy considering the target market for this more “upmarket” cafe on the high street…The WORST Penne Arribiata I have EVER had, pasta with tomatoe sauce dumped on top. I come here regularly for coffee, but now you have lost a customer forever for serving such terrible food! Seriously!?

Nestled in the heart of Twickenham, Cafe Pera is a charming artisan café that promises an unforgettable experience for coffee and cake lovers. The friendly staff are always ready to accommodate your needs, making every visit feel special. Don't miss their delicious Eggs Benedict – it's a must-try!
Cafe Pera was a delightful experience. Their English breakfast is top-notch, boasting a satisfying taste and quality ingredients. For those with a sweet tooth, their hot chocolate is a simply lovely indulgent treat. Staff members ensure that customers feel welcomed and attended to promptly, enhancing the overall dining experience. We felt very welcomed throughout the amiable service. Overall, Cafe Pera earns high marks for its delicious offerings, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere. It's a place worth revisiting, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others in the area.

The service was commendable - the ladies were really good but I am a bit disappointed with the food - the carrot cake was dense. Baba Ganoush and poached egg on the sourdough bread was okay, nothing great in terms of flavour and the coffee was also okay, I didn’t enjoy it. Maybe I didn’t choose the right things that is good, like the English Breakfast as other reviewers have suggested.

Cute café with lovely interiors and a cozy vibe. Very friendly staff. We ordered a latte, cappuccino, and some cakes - everything was spot on. The lemon cake and chocolate cupcake were delicious, and I really appreciated that when I asked for an extra hot latte, it was made just right. Top marks for both the service and the food.

Very disappointed with the dishonesty I experienced at Cafe Pera in Strawberry Hill on 29 May 2025. I ordered an Earl Grey tea, which was clearly listed on the menu at £2.90, but I was charged £3.70. When I questioned this, the female staff member claimed that “Earl Grey is a herbal tea” — which is simply false. Earl Grey is a black tea, not a herbal infusion, and it contains caffeine. This is basic knowledge in the food and drink industry. The staff refused to honour the correct price, and I was forced to pay more than what was advertised. Whether this was due to poor training or a deliberate attempt to overcharge, it is unacceptable. Pricing must be clear and honest, and staff should not mislead customers with incorrect information. I’m writing this review to warn other customers and to urge the owner to take this issue seriously. In times like these, when every penny matters, overcharging loyal customers — especially by giving them false information — is both unethical and damaging to trust. I won’t be returning unless this is addressed publicly and transparently.

Lovely food. The cappuccino was perfectly done (many coffee shops often burn it a little but here it was perfect temperature and taste) and the carrot and walnut cake was homemade and a very generous portion. On a different day, I also had an English Breakfast and the quality of the ingredients was much higher than typical cafes. The staff are very welcoming and the cafe was never busy. 10/10
Anton M — Google review
Sadly a disappointing experience having not been here for a few years. I remember a well priced good quality cafe. Nostalgia is a wicked liar! Popped in for a couple of takeaway baguettes and it was all a bit disorganised. We waited a while before our order was taken of a bacon baguette and a cheese salad baguette. We asked what type of baguette it was and were told it was a French stick type. It wasn’t and was more of a ciabatta type bread and a very small one at that. A dusty one to boot. The two baguettes and a tea in the smallest cup in the world came to over £17. A tea about the size of my small finger. Hot water must be getting expensive! After a few deep breaths we paid the money given our order was in process. The baguettes were very disappointing for the price, with a a small amount of bacon in one and a single slice of cheese in the other, although the salad quantity was passable. For the money I’d expect everything to be plentiful and exceptional, but it was a bit of a rip off I’m afraid. Paying £7-8 for a baguette is pretty mad stuff and not something I’ve ever experienced in the area or even in central London. I’ve been too many places in the course of recent history central or in the vicinity. They seemed to be struggling with table service too and people were coming to the counter to order following long waits meaning they overtook us waiting at the counter. Some would say style over substance, but the substance was really lacking. The style didn’t count for much if that was the bargaining token of choice. Worse still is we were still hungry after the minuscule portions and turns out there was the Twickenham Cafe a few doors down. The food was half the price and double the portion/quality. Needless to say that will be choice in future. I feel pretty disingenuous to direct people elsewhere but in this circumstance I feel it is necessary. Update from the hospital: My wallet is still recovering from open heart surgery but doctors say there is some hope. I’m happy to find a defibrillator in my will if I don’t make it. Here’s hoping!

A wonderful find that finished off my Twickenham weekend. Staff were extremely polite and efficient with excellent service, before we even got to the food. Went in today after popping in once a month thought I should review - the young man serving is super professional and polite as is the lady at the till, the other kind of rushed us when ordering, but then saw she was trying to do it before a big group ordered! - great staff! Usually head up to Twickenham on the weekends so surprised I haven’t popped into visit this place already as been looking for a decent breakfast/brunch venue in the area. This place doesn’t disappoint. Full Breakfast and brunch menu and really attentive staff. Ordered the house breakfast with tea - very good portion (the beans surprisingly good) - also do Eggs Florentine and Eggs Bendict but next time will try the Traditional Shakshuka. Only a short walk from Twickenham station, near the William Web Ellis pub.

I bought a very good quality falafel wrap here - delicious falafel with a crunchy coating, filled with fresh salad, at a price that rivals Sidra (just around the corner). Unlike there, you don't get any extras with it, though. However, I prefer the taste of A&L. The restaurant doesn't seem very geared towards the takeaway customers though - it was assumed that I would be eating in, and I was asked which table I would like; this also seemed to be the reason for the bare presentation in the takeaway box - just sitting there, alone and ungarnished, without even a wrapping to protect its modesty 😁 Nevertheless, I would urge wrap lovers to give this place a try.

Corto Italian Deli is a delightful little café that captures the essence of Italy right in Twickenham. Known for its rich, thick hot chocolate reminiscent of the Italian Alps, this spot is perfect for year-round visits. In summer, patrons love to enjoy drinks al fresco while soaking up the sun. Inside, you'll discover a treasure trove of authentic Italian delicacies—ideal not just for indulging but also for gifting.
I love this little Italian cafe, it's brilliant for a (very thick) hot chocolate. Similar to what you'd get in the Italian Alps. A lot of people like to come here to sit outside with drinks in the summer too, so it's good all year round. Inside is also a little treasure trove of Italian goodies, which are delicious but also great for gifts. I'd recommend popping in if you're in Church Street.

Popped in today after they’d just reopened from a week’s break — yes, not every ingredient was available yet (which they explained clearly), but the team couldn’t have been more accommodating. The chef took the time to speak to us personally, offer alternatives, and make sure we left happy. The food we had was fresh and delicious, the coffee was spot on, and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. If you’re the sort of person who throws a tantrum because a freshly reopened café doesn’t have every single item at 100% stock, maybe stay at home. For everyone else — highly recommend.

Pleasant environment for a coffee shop - ex butchers shop so has interesting glazed tiles. long black very good. good selection of cakes and pastries, but not very many (may run out by late morning). Not fast service like a H&H in Central London, more relaxed atmosphere. Nice comfy sofas, as well as more traditional tables. I particularly like the nice solid glazed crockery, makes the coffee taste nicer. Often full of families and young babies. And dogs

Edited as realised this was still falsely showing my review for Harris and Hoole despite now being a completely different brands. Disregard all the old reviews, used to be great as H&H but now a Nero as they seem to have brought a great coffee company in order to just destroy it. I can't review the drinks here thought expect it's standard Nero so not terrible but not great either. Decided not to wait and queue for a drink as Neros apparently policy of not serving drinks in order one by one is infuriating. Why do they make their staff insist on taking 2-3 orders at a time, it doesn't make things any quicker all it does in inconvenience most of the queue when they person future down the queue gets their drink first as your server is never able work as fast trying to take and make multiple orders!!! Queues work, use them!!

I was very impressed with this cafe. It not only had all the things that you would expect, but it offered gluten-free and vegan choices as well. (And a stack of pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Unfortunately, they fell outside my diet. :-| As did a tempting selection of icecream.) The coffee was excellent.

I had a catch up with an old friend at the cafe few days ago. The lady who served us managed to convenience my friend to try the green reviver, which he reluctantly accepted even though he hate kale. He tried and enjoyed the smoothie! Kudos to her! However I would have loved for the cafe to have more outdoor space, but due to the location of the cafe I understand why there are limited outside seat. The cafe is lovely and the staff are great. Location is central and walking distance to everything in Twickenham. Unfortunately I'm not able to comment about the delicious food they had, but will come back again for those. Can't give a full 5 star as I can't comment on the food.

Very nice. The coffee is a reasonable price, and very good quality - it doesn't taste like a dark roast so there is lots of room for the lighter flavours to come out. The staff are lovely. Unusual armchairs to sit in, or more traditional seating towards the back. Lots of accompanying food is offered, with gluten-free options available. It's so much better than a chain brand - and independent businesses are worth supporting. My cappuccino was £2.40. Loyalty cards are available. This could well be my favourite coffee in central Twickenham since The Coffee Lab closed down. Well worth a visit.

I visited this coffee shop for the first time to enjoy some coffee and work, but I was surprised to learn that customers can only stay for an hour and a half unless they order additional items. This policy was communicated to me by a staff member with an unwelcoming demeanor, which made the experience feel uncomfortable. Overall, the staff's attitude was not friendly, and there are plenty of other cafes in Twickenham, like Press Room, Costa, and Starbucks, where you can work without such restrictions.

I believed it to be an independent shop whilst actually it is part of a group, a brand with branches spread around London. The place is nicely designed for comfort, making you feel like you are having a cup in your living room at home. Few visits and the staff has always shown kindness and welcoming attitude. Recognition came immediately on my second visit. Coffee tastes good and it is served in nice chinaware. Food too seems freshly made and good. Recommended.

Then we got bread with butter and Veggie 2, when I had feeling whether somebody ate the half or is something missing there? Full Monty came without sausage, but waitress said that she will bring it later. Food was too oily. Simply said so terrible food I did not eat anywhere...

Lovely little family run Lebanese restaurant situated on the fantastic Church Street in Twickenham. We were greeted warmly upon entering and given a seat while we waited for a takeaway lunch. The interior is well decorated with tea being a focal point. We ordered the makanek sausage wrap and haloumi wrap, both of which were generous and full of flavour. You can taste the care and attention given to the food. There is also a very nice looking garden out the back ideal on a Summers day. Well recommended.

Absolutely wonderful experience! This restaurant is run by the loveliest couple who make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The food is hands-down the most authentic Lebanese cuisine I’ve had in London. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. They also have a great selection of really interesting teas, served in such a cute and thoughtful way that adds to the charm of the place. A perfect spot if you’re after a warm atmosphere, genuine hospitality, and incredible food. Highly recommended!

Best food, best way to support local business. The couple that run it are the nicest people and I have been going here for years ever since my dad bought me a chicken wrap with extra garlic and chilli sauce. My new favourite is the lamb kofta wrap but these beautiful people will never disappoint. Please please support their beautiful business because they are the best x

Fantastic little coffee shop in the Whitton High Street. very friendly, nice homemade cake, when available, but very good brought in cake when not. Nice snacks, sandwiches, pannini, etc. I come here regularly for Cappucino, and cake, and ocassionally for a light, hot, breakfast snack, at weekends. They do good Sunday lunches, sometimes, also. Far better than the normal chains. Give it a go.

They were nice enough to let me DJ on their opening 11th October 2025. As you can see in the picture as that's when they opened the service was a little slow though but it was made up for in the delish stake sandwich and chips with Lotus biscuit milkshake I had. Wich I had two days afterwards. I also had a chai latte on the day it opened and it was devine. I'm hoping to DJ there again if they let me. Just a word of caution though some of these reviews are left over from the Caffe that was here before this one so always check the menu before seeing something in reviews and potentially ordering something they don't sell by mistake.
Genre D — Google review
Slow service, because the serving staff are also doing a lot of the food prep. The menu is entirely uninspiring (badly executed falafel wraps, feta salads and that ilk) and notably overpriced for what it is. There’s not much redeeming the place and it’s unclear what it’s trying to be, other than a business. It’s a shame, the previous incarnation was said to be better.

i’ve been there last week in different days, and what i can say it’s just there everybody should try one time in london the best italian dishes that i’ve taste without be in italy. they have a lot of amazing dishes, and for try all me and my friend take different bruschetta one with tuna, that as you can see the bread is like covered by the food, that was delicious, another one with the parma ham and burrata cheese, what i can say just OMG. as i said before the thing that i loved the most is that is always almost busy especially in the weekend but we just asked and they said to us to wait a lil bit, after that we discovered that every sunday they prepared a different type of meat, really good actually, and they sell the prepared italian sauces that seems amazing. they are so fast and the people that work here are so kind and nice 😋😊

Found this little gem this morning. Had an excellent coffee and a delicious piece of millionaires shortcake. Tasted just like my mum used to make. All the cakes looked delicious.Really nice place and will definitely be back when I'm in the area.
Micheal O — Google review
Very hit and miss with the coffee, but so is every cafe within close proximity. £4.10 for a regular vanilla latte with oak milk is a scandal too. Unfortunately, I can’t make it my daily coffee with a price like that. Came back here this weekend. Food came out wrong first & this was the corrected version. Scrambled egg on toast, wouldn’t see it in the worst of greasy spoons.

Happened across this place while in search of good quality coffee in the Green neighbourhood and found precisely that! Sapori has a pleasant atmosphere, cozy shop vibes, and really friendly and kind service. Hope to be back one day! Their chai lattes are like, really, realllllllly delicious! :)

😵 £3.50 for a microscopic luke warm froth bomb tasteless decaf latte! There is a 70p surcharge on decaf, why? I have coffee's each week in Mayfair and sloan Square, where they cost £2.60, why on earth this place charges such extortionate prices I cannot understand. Never ever again. P. S I have seen better atmospheres in documentary's about old peoples homes in the 1980s. Oh, and it's about as Italian as Brian Sewell.
Harry O — Google review
I love an independent coffee shop. The decor, the food, even the menus all let you know that this is not fun of the mill. Of course there is also a risk that it might not be up to scratch but definitely not in this case. The atmosphere was lovely . Great music, cute little tables and menus. The front was open so we could enjoy the weather. I loved my breakfast. Lovely runny free range eggs, on perfectly toasted multi seed bread with a gorgeous tangy, slightly chilli avocado crush. The staff were friendly and helpful and the tiles in the bathroom are gorgeous. (And the bathroom was very clean) Sadly I have to leave here now!
N — Google review
Had breakfast in here passing through Twickenham and it was pretty bad. The staff were nice enough but the bread was stodgy and had lumps of bicarb or flour in it, the avocado smash had too much lemon, the fried eggs were really greasy and the presentation was completely amateur. Oh and the plate had a large chip in it. It was so bad I couldn't bring myself to mention it to the staff so took the coward's approach... I think this might be a better place for coffee and not eating. I usually love my Friday morning breakfast

WOW! This is an absolute hidden gem of a venue. The Sucuk and Eggs is an incredibly delicious disb, the flavours and look of the food was so good that we went back a second time during the week! My brother who lives in Sydney already wants to return, asking if we can come back here as a definite part of his agenda during his next stay. The owner is the friendliest person I've ever met at a cafe, she made us feel like one of the family/regulars and brought out a lottle something extra to try that she had made recently. The prices are great for the quality of taste, portion sizes and service received. It's hard not to want to keep ordering more even if you're full. We have already recommended this venue to everyone we know in and out of the area. Thanks again for being so awesome, hopefully we will be back in again soon for another brunch.

The vibe of the restaurant is so cozy, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy amazing food. The food here is simply incredible. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor, and you can tell it's made with a lot of love and care. The handmade lemonade is a must-try – it’s refreshing and perfectly balanced. And don't even get me started on the coffee – the best I’ve had in ages! If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. My visit to Gail’s today was really memorable. I had a dark hot chocolate it was amazing, thank you Emma. I’m a vegetarian, and the lady at the till was super friendly and helped me choose the right sandwich. It does feel a bit expensive at first, but actually it isn’t. First time in a Gail’s. Ordered black americano, plain and almond croissants. Slightly on the “overpriced” side of the scale. Food and drink tasted as expected, except one criticism about the croissant. I expected to have a warm and more fresh croissant at 9am for the money I paid. I’ll try other products later.

I live round the corner from this place. All the sandwiches are made fresh to order and are amazing, using only quality Italian ingredients. Nice food at a reasonable price - the coffee is a dark roast; everything very Italian. There is a complete informality in there, with the owner sitting with his friends quite often. They are big football fans, so if you like Italian football this is the place to go!

As you meander through the cobbled streets of Naples you wonder into a sophisticated treasure trove of gastric delights and warming wine (just off Richmond Bridge!). The friend it seems you've known for years but only just met cuddles you with fresh seafood and cured Italian meats. His food wisdom and knowledgeable grape passion brings sunshine to the relaxed vintage lighting. Nando creates an authentic Italian masterpiece in the grateful hamlet of East Twickenham. The best service and an exceptional unique experience. Smile, taste, repeat....

Very friendly staff who served me the very worst pizza of my life. A friend of mine had one as well and his was the same: tasteless, bland and actually quite small and with little topping. We both had a taste and then couldn't get ourselves to finish it. "Il vero gusto"... of what, I wonder? I hope this was due to a temporary chef or similar; I haven't been back to confirm.

They prepare your sandwich when you order in this little very little Italian café in Richmond, so you get a warm and fresh meal. The atmosphere in this place is way too informal for their own good and some of the tables too uncofortable, so, next time I'll take away my order. The mortadela and provolone cheese baguette delicious. The coffee really nice and the staff smiley and friendly, but too much noise, telly on playing Peppa Pig...

Worst place ever. Did not even get to eat there, I dared to asked why my takeaway lasagne was liquid(swimming in tomato sauce and super hot straight from microwave ),have been told I am not worthy eating their lasagne. I don't know whether they are recieving different training or if they are just hiring lovely people, but every time I go in to this branch of Starbucks I leave in a better mood! And that's entirely down to the staff and their exceptional customer service. I'd love them to know how good a job they're doing 😊

The staff at this Starbucks are always friendly and smiley. Have seating inside as well as outside, and there is always a mix of people and it's not busy that you struggle to find a seat . Can't comment on the food they serve, however, the pastry looks good. Enjoy the sign ; which frappuccino flavour are you?

Very very rude staff member - Renu. Listening to a conversation, rudely interrupted to inform us about our drinks. Shouting my name while I’m standing in front of her. Not a way to treat customers.

First time in this branch for a while. Most tables hadn't been cleared and there were three people making drinks. I had a decaf toffee nut latte which was nice but my partner had the caramelised biscuit loaf slice which was soooo dry. The drinks prices have recently gone up so a small drink is almost £5. It's absolutely not worth that when the store is dirty and service slow.

In the morning I have the chance to taste new coffee and cake offered by two member of staff. They were young and very professional. And my two little kids were safe and welcome in there. I like that it has a lot of tables and seat, when you have a buggy with two little kids you needs some space. I will return and hope The same staff again.

The good The bad The not so ugly.. The Good, 9 times out of 10 your beverage will be on point and the food will tick the box lol. It's a great place to crack on with remote work, with good coffee on tap and light bites if needed. I would also mention that whether you study alone or in a little group this is a slightly pricey, but quiet environment to meet up in. The Bad (that's not so bad) food and drink, classically overpriced.. but what can we expect from the high street, we know Starbucks struggled post COVID and closed many stores worldwide so it's great to see they didn't come off as badly as some/many predicted. A modern interior, classic, classy with minimal distractions other than those of classical music, some jazz and the whirring of the coffee machine. A calm place to work and fall into a zone.

Nice little cafe in St Margaret's. The Hollandaise on my eggs Benedict tasted a little odd - like it was made with oil 🤔. Otherwise a pleasant visit. I'll give them another shot.

Nestled in the heart of Twickenham, Cafe Zizou is a delightful haven for breakfast lovers. Renowned for its scrumptious almond croissants, each bite offers a perfect balance of sweetness and soft texture that’s simply irresistible. Pair it with their rich mocha chino, which boasts a thick chocolate base complemented by just the right amount of coffee kick. The welcoming atmosphere is enhanced by the friendly staff who provide exceptional service, making every visit feel special.
Best fry up in Twickenham, great value for money and delivery’s a great breakfast. Friendly and polite staff is always a bonus

Delicious almond croissant, for a morning breakfast, light, warmed up lightly, sweetness of the almond paste, just right. Texture of the croissant soft , not flaky. Size excellent. Mocha chino, delicious. The chocolate was thick and not the usual powdery stuff, with just a hint of coffee strong enough to Distinguish from a hot chocolate. Correct sweetness and finally excellent temperature. Ambience was welcoming, the lady and gentleman were very professional And courteous. Facilities were very clean as well as the main Dining area. Food stores well. 😊

Horrible experience I am mortified by the fat that I had ANTS! In my iced tea I am so disappointed never ever ever come here because having ANTS, MULTIPLE CRAWLING ANTS IN YOUR DRINK IS MORTIFYING . I am disgusted .I AM EVEN MORE DISGUSTED BECAUSE I HAD INGESTED A FAT ANT THAT MIGHT REPRODUCE IN ME . I deserve HUGE compensation for this .

Nice big cafe with good layout but I have to say the WiFi is painfully slow, something I have complained about before but to no avail unfortunately. This Costa has one major issue, the staff 🤣...some are almost totally devoid of personality, when I said I'd use the loo BEFORE ordering my coffee so it wouldn't be sitting around he actually rolled his eyes at me 🤷🏼‍♂️...another guy told me it was hard for them to make a cappuccino in a small size and indicated that it was a hardship lol....hilarious. but apart from that it's a big cafe and spaciously laid out.

Nestled near the Thames and Eel Pie Island, this charming café boasts a simple yet delicious menu that includes favorites like tuna sandwiches and delectable chocolate cake. The atmosphere is enhanced by the kind and thoughtful staff who create a welcoming environment, making it ideal for families. Notably, Café Sunshine also supports adults with learning disabilities, showcasing their commitment to community empathy.
A really lovely spot with a great location overlooking the Thames and run by absolutely wonderful, kind, thoughtful staff. I also noticed the sign detailing that they employ adults with learning disabilities, and I personally really appreciate businesses that show empathy like this. The coffee was very good and reasonably priced, and the nearby gardens were beautiful, so I will definitely return!

Such a great idea to change stables into a café! Lovely interior, great coffee at affordable prices and friendly staff. Huge + for iced coffee served in a glass rather than plastic cup like most places.

Lovely coffee shop 😍 I enjoyed flat white and tasty cake this morning. This is such a interesting place. Very friendly and cute. My daughter loves this place as we often visit Orleans house next door. @silviadeegon
Silvia D — Google review
The Stables Cafe is situated at the rear of Orleans house gallery and has been adapted from the original stables of the house. The cafe offers hot and cold food either indoors at one of the cleverly constructed booths in the stables, or you may opt for the al fresco option and dine in the courtyard.
Daniel D — Google review
Lovely location, but the cafe seemed a bit chaotic on Easter Monday. We had to ask for our table to be cleared from the previous customers. When this was done, the table was left dirty. I asked for it to be cleaned up, but this never happened. I had a sausage roll, which at £4.00 was very small, mainly pastry, and rather overcooked. Too long in the hot cupboard? Tea was served in a cup with no saucer and we overheard a staff member say to other customers that they were running out of crockery because it hadn't been washed up. Our order wasn't taken properly, with one item missing when served. I can only think the operators hadn't staffed it up properly and the those there were getting tired after a busy bank holiday weekend.
Simon W — Google review
This is our favourite café in Twickenham, perfectly located adjacent to Orleans House Gallery and with views of the gallery's woodland garden. The café is kept very clean and has good Covid protocols and plenty of outdoor seating beneath generous umbrellas in the stables courtyard. The café also has 6 or so indoor booths, which are perfect for working or catching up with a friend. We love the selection of delicious cakes, well-prepared snacks, excellent coffee and friendly staff.
John W — Google review
Poor quality food, no parasols in the sun,, uncomfortable tables in main cafe area, no cushions. Such a shame to not take advantage of such a lovely spot to eat and relax. We were looking forward to this reopening. They will close soon if they don’t improve and look after their clientele.

The stables is a beautiful building, has a lovely surrounding area to walk your dog and also free parking. Had a very disappointing breakfast/service a year ago but decided to give it another go, but this time received a burnt and bland sandwich without the choice of white or brown bread. It is a handy little place to stop for a bite.

The Coach House Cafe is part of a unique accommodation experience at Middleton. Guests can choose to stay in various charming locations such as the main house, Coach House, Walled Garden, Dairy, Orchard or the Farmhouse. The cafe itself offers limited seating inside but has additional seating options outside and across the street. While the coffee is highly praised and the food looks appealing, some suggest that improvements could be made in terms of covering up cakes and other items on display.
Lovely staff with attentive customer service. Simple but tasty coffee and food. Love to grab something to go whilst enjoying the park. 🥪☕️
Luke R — Google review
Cakes are all open to the public walking past them. On the day I was there, everyone's wet clothing was making contact with cakes. Children in queue touching cakes as they were walking past. There needs to be a plastic cover over cake area for health safety and hygiene reasons. Also dirty dogs tennis ball left on table which I moved and put into pot plant by table. I am just suggesting improvements to be made as this is a lovely coffee shop. We did not eat after seeing what was happening at the counter area.
Tina H — Google review
Nice cafe where you can get a small selection of food to enjoy while you're in the park. There's seating inside and outside, so good for all weather. Breakfast looked nice, but was sadly only served until 11:30, so we missed it. I feel like that could have been sold all day and would be more popular than the jacket potato option offered at lunch. I ordered a sausage roll, which was tasty, but the coffee wasn't great. Overall, the food was slightly overpriced, which can be expected for the location.
Rhiannon — Google review
A nice little cafe at Marble Hill, limited seating but more seating opposite and outside. The coffee is good and the food looks fine, but I think they should cover up the cakes and other items as they are left open on the counter.
Pravin M — Google review
Good facility and descent choice based on its size. Muffins, cakes, ice cream, coffee, canned gin n tonic, toilet facilities. That was needed for some time and it really helps everyone. There is hiany chess, domino outside. Indoor as well as out door seating. Good facility if you are visiting Marble Hill.
Cem E — Google review
The weekend staff are SO rude. Firstly, too busy chatting amongst themselves to serve then tutting at my husband. But the final straw was when I needed to rinse a spoonful of milk from my daughter's milk bottle and didn't have anything to hand so used a vase. The rude telling off I received from the same girl was insane. Should i have asked for a cup? Yes! Seeing you have a tantrumy toddler on your hands would have evoked sympathy in some... But no, this person decided that what I needed instead was a good telling off rather than just replace the water in the little vase. Other customers shared our disgust at this hostile display. Quite annoyed that we spent about £20 in this café now.
Olivera G — Google review
Terrible coffee and very substandard millionaire's shortbread. Very limited selection and the soup of the day is always carrot and coriander. Crisps are nice.
Livvy — Google review
No eye contact at the till point , no greetings, not aware of the queueing order, created conflicts by adressing the wrong person in line. Kids snack option is confusing.

One of my favourite coffee shops. It is often busy but we had no problem getting a table. The coffee is what you expect and the BLT sandwich that I ate was excellent.

More here of the familiar and the acceptable served with adequate competence and promptness. This ‘chain’ rarely falls short on expectations while this branch fails to exceed them either.
Jeff B — Google review
Messy and disorganised with staff who seem annoyed to be at work. Their dishwasher was also 'broken' which meant they served everything in single use packaging which is really poor.
Daniel H — Google review
I am a regular at the Twickenham Nero, but I'm slowly moving away from it because the wifi has been very spotty for months ... the staff say the same thing has happened to them and they have reported it, but nothing happens. And the other issue is that there seems to be no place on Nero's website where one can report/complain about such things - so they like getting negative Google reviews? Everything else about this shop is very nice - staff, space, coffee - well, the music could stand refreshing.
Dan W — Google review
This morning the service was terrible. I come here regularly and its usually excellent. However, there was this scatty lady who clearly needs more training. They only put water out when I asked. They had no pastries on display at 7am. They open at 6am. The fridge (not their fault is out of service) on top of that the light haired lady who was difficult to understand forgot to prepare the porridge I paid her for. She seems easily distracted.

Great coffee at Caffe Nero, wide selection to eat from, pleasant staff, very clean and the ladies bathroom facilities always in good order. Whether using this coffee chain at Teddington, Kingston or Twickenham, never a bad experience.

Dara Cafe & Bistro offers a delightful experience with its delicious homemade Manti and copious breakfast options. The cozy ambiance and attentive staff make it a perfect spot for starting the day. The menu features fantastic Turkish food, fresh juices, and authentic teas. While there may be occasional service misunderstandings and smoke smell from the terrace, the overall dining experience is exceptional. Guests appreciate the welcoming atmosphere, tasty food choices including Turkish and English breakfasts, as well as the friendly and caring staff.
We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious dinner at Seyri. The food was cooked fresh and served hot; we decided to try the lamb dishes. We then had a lovely dessert which went beautifully with the Turkish tea. Thank you again for the great service with a smile! Looking forward to coming for breakfast next time!

From the starters to the mains, every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and full of traditional taste. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and what made the evening even more enjoyable was the staff , incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. To top it off, one of the lovely lady surprised us with a cake at the end, which made the evening even more special. Highly recommend! They made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a memorable Turkish dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Stopped here for coffee and breakfast! It was really great and I’d recommend. I started with a latte which was good, and the vegetarian sausage. They had the best hash brown I’ve ever eaten, the vegetarian sausage was different to ones I had tried, it was like a vegetable coquette that had been fried. I had the baklava afterwards which was great too!

Tesco Cafe is a local favorite, known for its all-day breakfast and friendly staff. The new manager and his team have been praised for their excellent customer service, with the manager often seen helping out during busy times. While some patrons feel that the food quality has slightly declined, others still find it to be top-notch. The omelette is particularly recommended for its fluffy texture and generous filling. Despite occasional queues during lunchtime, the cafe offers quick service once orders are placed.
Good value for money and big selection for a supermarket cafe. Staff are usually friendly. Sometimes can be a little queue during lunch time, but overall quick service once ordered.
Daniel O — Google review
Visited the Tesco Café in Twickenham and honestly, the experience was really poor from start to finish. We were told jacket potatoes would take ages, so felt pressured to pick something else – only to wait ages anyway for the food to arrive. If we’d known all the food would take that long, we would’ve just waited for what we actually wanted. The atmosphere was uncomfortable too. One of the kitchen staff – a white lady – was publicly telling off a fellow staff member, an Indian lady, loud enough for everyone to hear. It was unprofessional and awkward for customers witnessing it. She also kept saying "ugh i dont have time". Awful for customers to hear this! At the counter, Mikey told me they didn’t have mustard, but thankfully a kind lady (possibly Vietnamese) overheard and brought some over – the one highlight in an otherwise poor experience. Dont understand why he lied about this. On top of that, the café smelt as if something was burning, and the food we eventually got came with burnt bread. Shocking service all around. Won’t be returning.
Devina G — Google review
Great value but service was rather slow and due to this the food was also not as hot as it should have been. Looked like they were a little short staffed on this day but always great value. Sourdough toast with bbq beans and poached egg was very good.
H C — Google review
I have been to Tesco Cafe a number of times. Overall the food is value for money. Me and my family have tried to veggie sausage, veg and full English breakfast, and their breakfast food I would recommend. I cannot comment on other parts of the menu. Generally they have everything in stock- however twice they have not had oat milk which given they are in a supermarket they should be able to re-stock this. The service is hit and miss….often seems understaffed. Waiting times for food really depends- I ate there a couple of days ago and the food came out really quickly. The staff are generally polite. Tables often need clearing and cleaning which staff will do when asked, but on a general there does not always seem to be enough staff. The cafe is situated to the side at the front of the store, before you enter the shop part of the store and for me that helps the ambience as it does not feel like you are in Tesco. Accessibility wise it is flat, and there are tables and booths available. I will return to Tesco Cafe and recommend it…..as I say value for money so you get what you pay for. During the school holidays they had Kids Eat Free which is really appreciated
Nicola J — Google review
Runny egg in the muffin. Most educated chefs would have runny eggs on the plate but not in food you pick up. Embarrassed to say that McDonald's is better. Staff seem to whisper to each other and giggle a lot...
James M — Google review
Omelette was beautifully fluffy, plump with a generous cheese and tomato filling. The five stars are mostly attributed to the lovely team atmosphere, they communicate well and have a family like manner towards patrons.
Neil S — Google review
Great customer service from the new manager (3 months) and his team. The manager is not afraid of helping his staff taking orders to tables and cleaning the tables when the cafe was busy. We had a full English breakfast with a Latte and water and we could not fault it. Everything was cooked well and tasted great so we left nothing on our plates. The latte was very nice too! The manager also too our feedback from a previous bad experience with a staff member from the kitchen who had an attitude problem over 3 months ago which put us off coming back but we were pleasantly surprised and we will come back and recommend to our friends too!
